A heated confrontation erupted on VCU campus Thursday night when a driver clashed with a group of bikers blocking traffic illegally. What started as a verbal argument spiraled into violence after one biker allegedly spat on the driver — leading to an assault that included signs of strangulation. One cyclist has been charged with simple assault, but authorities warn more charges may follow. The driver suffered minor injuries.
