- 2:48Speaker 2: Hey everybody, this is Black Diamond from the Crew Network
- 2:52Speaker 2: and you're listening to Basic Black Afterdog podcast and show
- 2:56Speaker 2: and meet you where you are and give you what
- 2:58Speaker 2: you ask for now tonight guests. Unfortunately, she's unable to
- 3:02Speaker 2: make it, so this is going to be one of
- 3:04Speaker 2: those impromptu shows. So we're gonna be talking, but I'm
- 3:07Speaker 2: hoping that it makes sense with what we're discussing. It's
- 3:11Speaker 2: been a long year, very long year, and surprised is
- 3:17Speaker 2: some of the things that has come about this year.
- 3:22Speaker 2: For one, I am very happy and pleased with finally
- 3:27Speaker 2: finishing a book that I have written and it's been
- 3:31Speaker 2: five years in the making. I have talked to friends
- 3:35Speaker 2: and family about it, but I never released the title
- 3:38Speaker 2: of the book because it was something that I just
- 3:41Speaker 2: wanted to keep it under wraps for a little bit.
- 3:44Speaker 2: But you guys, I'm gonna ask you a question. You
- 3:48Speaker 2: have friends or people you know, and sometimes they stretch
- 3:52Speaker 2: the truth a little bit. Some people may say they fibbing,
- 3:56Speaker 2: some people say may say they're not telling the truth,
- 4:00Speaker 2: when some people may just come straight out and just
- 4:01Speaker 2: say that they're just downright liars. Thank you, Shenette, I
- 4:04Speaker 2: appreciate it. Well, that is the title of my new book,
- 4:09Speaker 2: The Habitual Liar. I'm not going to give you too
- 4:12Speaker 2: much about it, but what I am going to do
- 4:14Speaker 2: is I'm going to share the screen with you so
- 4:18Speaker 2: you can see the cover of the book and what's
- 4:22Speaker 2: going on with me and what's coming up. So let
- 4:27Speaker 2: me just try to get this up on the screen.
- 4:35Speaker 2: There we go. So we're having a book launch. It's
- 4:38Speaker 2: going to be November sixteenth. It's at four pm and
- 4:41Speaker 2: we're going to be at the Noble Banquet Hall in
- 4:44Speaker 2: Maryland and that's at fifteen forty six Country Region Lane
- 4:48Speaker 2: in Essex. So I'm going to do a reading and
- 4:52Speaker 2: hopefully that you do come out and support the book
- 4:55Speaker 2: and learn a little bit about my character. Now, one
- 4:59Speaker 2: thing I do you say When some people ask me
- 5:01Speaker 2: about the book, I usually tell them that you have
- 5:04Speaker 2: to be at least twenty one years of age to
- 5:06Speaker 2: read it. At least I would hope you are. I
- 5:08Speaker 2: would hope that somebody that's sixteen years old wouldn't pick
- 5:11Speaker 2: up the book because there's some things in it that
- 5:14Speaker 2: I'm surprised that I wrote about. That book took me
- 5:18Speaker 2: to another place. When I say it took me to
- 5:21Speaker 2: another place, I actually had no joke had and still
- 5:26Speaker 2: am seeing a psychiatrist and a therapist because of this book.
- 5:31Speaker 2: It has gone so deep that I had to get
- 5:35Speaker 2: into this character up to a point just to make
- 5:39Speaker 2: it real, just to feel what this type of person
- 5:46Speaker 2: would feel, without taking myself away from who I really am.
- 5:55Speaker 2: So when I say it has a lot of twisting
- 5:57Speaker 2: turns in it, and yes, the book is called The
- 5:59Speaker 2: Habitual Liar, but there's more to this character than this
- 6:05Speaker 2: character to being the Habitual Liar, I'm truly hoping that
- 6:10Speaker 2: you all enjoy this book. It has been, like I said,
- 6:13Speaker 2: it's been wanting to making. The book will drop on
- 6:16Speaker 2: October to nineteenth, and that was on purpose because October
- 6:21Speaker 2: the nineteenth is actually my birthday. So I decided I
- 6:24Speaker 2: wanted to give myself that gift by having this book
- 6:28Speaker 2: drop on the nineteenth. So that's very special for me,
- 6:33Speaker 2: and it's a special number birthday for me. So I
- 6:35Speaker 2: won't get into that, but you know what, I am
- 6:39Speaker 2: going to get into that because if my mother can
- 6:41Speaker 2: tell everybody that she's going to be one hundred next year,
- 6:44Speaker 2: and I can most certainly tell everybody I want to
- 6:46Speaker 2: be sixty this year, and there's nothing wrong with turning sixty.
- 6:50Speaker 2: I am very proud and very happy that I was
- 6:52Speaker 2: able to go around this orbit. Let me say twenty
- 6:58Speaker 2: times three. I'll say it that way. So I do
- 7:02Speaker 2: appreciate everybody who has followed me, individuals who I have
- 7:07Speaker 2: gotten to know on this podcast and on this platform
- 7:12Speaker 2: of Basic Black After Dark. I do want to thank
- 7:15Speaker 2: my sisters, and I hope I don't forget anybody's name, Schenette, Alma, Trevida.
- 7:25Speaker 2: Let me see who I forgetting Simone, uh Latanya. Now
- 7:32Speaker 2: I know I'm going to mess up this other name,
- 7:34Speaker 2: but I'll say doctor C and there was others that
- 7:38Speaker 2: it came in season one as well, and I want
- 7:40Speaker 2: to thank them all for being supportive. I know some
- 7:44Speaker 2: times I may have not been myself, but I'm not
- 7:48Speaker 2: gonna say I was the character. I'm just gonna say
- 7:50Speaker 2: it was. It was a journey just getting this book
- 7:52Speaker 2: and writing it and making sure all the pieces were
- 7:56Speaker 2: in place so that I can deliver it to you
- 7:59Speaker 2: in a respectful way. There's gonna be a lot of
- 8:04Speaker 2: questions about it. I did have somebody who did read
- 8:08Speaker 2: some of the chapters and they were shocked. Now, I'm
- 8:11Speaker 2: not a person that once I write a book, I
- 8:14Speaker 2: don't really read it. After it I write it, I
- 8:17Speaker 2: go through with I haven't edited, and I sent it
- 8:22Speaker 2: out and it's just it just becomes published. I don't
- 8:25Speaker 2: read what I have written. Now this one, I do
- 8:28Speaker 2: know a lot about it of what's going on. I mean,
- 8:30Speaker 2: that's the same as my first book, my memoir in
- 8:33Speaker 2: my Mother's House. I haven't read that book. I feel
- 8:38Speaker 2: as though I didn't have to read that particular book
- 8:40Speaker 2: because I lived the life and there was some things
- 8:42Speaker 2: that you just won't forget, something that you wish you
- 8:48Speaker 2: could forget in that book. But like I said, I
- 8:51Speaker 2: don't go back and read any of my books. I
- 8:56Speaker 2: don't go back and normally recap my shows and look
- 9:00Speaker 2: at them. Some people say you should so you could
- 9:02Speaker 2: see where you can improve, And I'm not saying that
- 9:04Speaker 2: I can't improve. Believe me, I can, but I just don't.
- 9:07Speaker 2: I'm not the person that likes to go backwards. I
- 9:10Speaker 2: just like to keep pushing and going forward. I do
- 9:13Speaker 2: watch other people's shows if I do miss it, and
- 9:15Speaker 2: I do read other people's books because I do find
- 9:18Speaker 2: them interesting. Not to say I don't find my own
- 9:20Speaker 2: book interesting, but I wrote it so I don't want
- 9:22Speaker 2: to read it again. I've lived a life. I don't
- 9:25Speaker 2: want to live it again. My children's books, the series
- 9:30Speaker 2: on Stacey f A's a children's book on forster K
- 9:34Speaker 2: and adoption, and we're going to be coming up next
- 9:36Speaker 2: month with National Adoption Month, and we have a special
- 9:40Speaker 2: guest who's coming from India who I'll be interviewing, and
- 9:43Speaker 2: we're going to be talking about adoption for that month
- 9:47Speaker 2: and how things are different in India and how they're
- 9:50Speaker 2: different here, and what they've asked me to do is
- 9:54Speaker 2: to give them some insight into Forster k and adoption.
- 9:57Speaker 2: I guess because I've been a Forster mother for so
- 9:59Speaker 2: much years and it's been in this feel for with
- 10:05Speaker 2: parenting as well as working with children and families for
- 10:08Speaker 2: over forty years. So that's gonna be my guest for
- 10:11Speaker 2: next month. So, like I said, this month, it's this year.
- 10:15Speaker 2: Has been a wonderful year for me. This up and
- 10:20Speaker 2: it has its down, but at the same time, it
- 10:23Speaker 2: was a learning opportunity for me. I was able to
- 10:26Speaker 2: grow a lot. Just within the last month. I had
- 10:31Speaker 2: mentioned to some people that those who have gotten know
- 10:36Speaker 2: me since I moved to the state, they may have
- 10:38Speaker 2: seen somebody that always look like they're angry or upset
- 10:43Speaker 2: that they just wanted to just be upset with people.
- 10:47Speaker 2: But that's not who I am. That's not who I
- 10:49Speaker 2: wasn't before I moved. And I'm not blaming it on
- 10:52Speaker 2: the state that I'm in. It's just that I've been
- 10:54Speaker 2: through some things and I probably took it out on
- 10:58Speaker 2: some people that I should not have been taking it
- 11:00Speaker 2: out on it. But I was riding one day in
- 11:03Speaker 2: my car and I was listening to a program and
- 11:07Speaker 2: it was talking about anger, and I don't know what
- 11:11Speaker 2: it was that came over me, but I was able
- 11:13Speaker 2: to accidentally put my hand on my doorsell and my
- 11:17Speaker 2: window opened up, and I just felt anger going right
- 11:20Speaker 2: out that window, and it was a wonderful feeling, and
- 11:24Speaker 2: it was a feeling that I haven't had in decades.
- 11:28Speaker 2: I got rid of my best friend, and my best
- 11:33Speaker 2: friend at the time was anger. And I was so
- 11:36Speaker 2: comfortable with anger that I didn't let it go. I
- 11:40Speaker 2: hung onto it because it understood me. I understood it.
- 11:46Speaker 2: It was always there whenever I needed it. It never
- 11:49Speaker 2: left me. It always stood by my side. That was anger,
- 11:55Speaker 2: and I didn't look at it that way. I just
- 11:57Speaker 2: looked at it as my best friend. But to open
- 12:01Speaker 2: up that window and to let it go out, it
- 12:06Speaker 2: was like a transition for me, and I wind up
- 12:10Speaker 2: with a new best friend. Once I closed that window.
- 12:13Speaker 2: I don't even know why I closed it, but it
- 12:15Speaker 2: just I had my hand back on it and it
- 12:17Speaker 2: just went up, and another other feeling came over me,
- 12:22Speaker 2: and I was given a new best friend. And my
- 12:27Speaker 2: new best friend is aha aha. Because I was able
- 12:32Speaker 2: to acknowledge that I carried a lot of anger around
- 12:35Speaker 2: with me and for others that they may say for
- 12:37Speaker 2: no apparent reason. I don't want to go back into
- 12:40Speaker 2: the history of the book you see behind me in
- 12:43Speaker 2: my mother's house, or any of my journeys, and how
- 12:47Speaker 2: I say, I jokingly say, how I landed in this
- 12:50Speaker 2: state too many It's a beautiful state. It's not a
- 12:55Speaker 2: place that I had planned on moving, but it's a
- 12:57Speaker 2: place that I feel as though I had no other
- 12:59Speaker 2: choice but to move here. And I acknowledge so much
- 13:05Speaker 2: within that moment, once I closed the window, that it
- 13:10Speaker 2: was just a feeling that I just I can't explain it.
- 13:15Speaker 2: I honestly can't explain it. The age in AHA is humility.
- 13:22Speaker 2: Is what I think maybe quickly came over to over me,
- 13:25Speaker 2: the humility of the whole thing, knowing that I had
- 13:31Speaker 2: that best friend and would always tell children, don't be
- 13:34Speaker 2: so angry, or say to other people, why so angry,
- 13:37Speaker 2: not realizing myself that I have walked around for all
- 13:41Speaker 2: these years, and I can honestly say, for the last
- 13:45Speaker 2: forty years I have walked around with that and that
- 13:48Speaker 2: goes to tell you how long that friend has been
- 13:50Speaker 2: with me. But then when I say the other a
- 13:54Speaker 2: in AHA that stands for apologizing apology, apology to myself,
- 14:03Speaker 2: apologizing to myself for allowing myself to carry that anger
- 14:09Speaker 2: with me for so many years, and along the way
- 14:12Speaker 2: may have been hurting people, hurting their feelings. And I
- 14:15Speaker 2: do remember times when I felt as though people hurt
- 14:21Speaker 2: me and I hurt back, and I said I did
- 14:26Speaker 2: it intentionally. I would say something like, if you do
- 14:31Speaker 2: this to me, I'm going to hurt your feelings, then
- 14:32Speaker 2: I'm going to mean it and I'm not going to
- 14:35Speaker 2: apologize for it. But that was the anger part of me.
- 14:43Speaker 2: I'm not going to see that and say it. But
- 14:44Speaker 2: if there's anybody out there that I heard, I apologized,
- 14:47Speaker 2: Because it could be so many and it may not
- 14:49Speaker 2: be as many as I thought. I'm not going to
- 14:52Speaker 2: sit here and say, oh, I'm going to turn over
- 14:54Speaker 2: a new leaf. Every day is just going to be
- 14:56Speaker 2: a different day for me, and then it is going
- 14:59Speaker 2: to be a struggle, because when you've had something with
- 15:02Speaker 2: you for such a long time, it's kind of hard
- 15:08Speaker 2: to change. It's hard to move on. But I'm trying
- 15:15Speaker 2: every day. I know that some things are going to
- 15:18Speaker 2: push my buttons and I'm going to try to have
- 15:22Speaker 2: the aha moment when it does happen. But I think
- 15:27Speaker 2: writing this book, The Habitual Liar, it wasn't about any
- 15:35Speaker 2: particular person. There are people who, once they got a
- 15:39Speaker 2: wind of the book, and that happens when a lot
- 15:43Speaker 2: of my books, they think it's about them. Most of
- 15:47Speaker 2: my books are personal, and I can say that this
- 15:51Speaker 2: book The Habitual Liar is personal, but it's not personal.
- 15:54Speaker 2: And I hope you understand what I mean when I
- 15:56Speaker 2: say it's personal, but it's not personal. It's personal because
- 16:02Speaker 2: of what is written and the meaning behind it. It's
- 16:07Speaker 2: not personal because it's not about a particular person. Although
- 16:13Speaker 2: some who read it may think it's about them, but
- 16:17Speaker 2: once you get into the book, you'll you'll if it's
- 16:22Speaker 2: those who are thinking that it's about them, you'll see
- 16:24Speaker 2: that it really isn't about you. And I'm not trying
- 16:27Speaker 2: to be snarky about it by saying, oh, it's just
- 16:29Speaker 2: not about you. I'm being honest. It is not about
- 16:33Speaker 2: one particular person. Once I get that one on one
- 16:40Speaker 2: and it's asked or it gets to that level, i'll
- 16:43Speaker 2: explain more of why I wrote the book. But you
- 16:50Speaker 2: have to finish the book to figure out this character.
- 16:55Speaker 2: You may take some guessing along the way about this character,
- 17:00Speaker 2: about why this character did this or did that? Who
- 17:04Speaker 2: was going to be the next person where they're going
- 17:07Speaker 2: to be, What is happening with this person? Why did
- 17:10Speaker 2: I choose this person? I think once you finish the book,
- 17:14Speaker 2: you'll understand more so why this person even existed in
- 17:21Speaker 2: this book. Again, it's not a real person. And I
- 17:29Speaker 2: can use a part of the AHA apologizing to anyone
- 17:33Speaker 2: whose feelings may be hurt with this book, because they
- 17:37Speaker 2: may say that this character is a little bit of them.
- 17:45Speaker 2: If it is. It wasn't my intention to make it
- 17:49Speaker 2: about anybody, because that's not what I did. A person maybe,
- 17:55Speaker 2: and I don't want to say in their feelings, they
- 17:56Speaker 2: may start to identify with this character. I'll say it
- 18:00Speaker 2: that way. You may start to identify with this character
- 18:06Speaker 2: of people you may know. I know, we all know
- 18:10Speaker 2: somebody who lies a lot more than usual, I'll say,
- 18:17Speaker 2: And that's one of the reasons why I named it
- 18:20Speaker 2: The Habitual Liar. But there's a twist to it, and
- 18:23Speaker 2: that's one thing that I'll give you. It's a twist
- 18:27Speaker 2: to this book. Read some of the blogs that I
- 18:30Speaker 2: have going out because I try to send one out.
- 18:33Speaker 2: Maybe once a week. It'll give you some insight into
- 18:37Speaker 2: this book. Am I ashamed of the language that I
- 18:43Speaker 2: used in this book in the beginning, I really really was.
- 18:48Speaker 2: I was ashamed of the language that I used in
- 18:52Speaker 2: this book because that's not the way that I speak.
- 18:55Speaker 2: I had to have my oneness with God to be
- 19:01Speaker 2: able to say this is where I wanted to go
- 19:05Speaker 2: with this book. Now I do have someone that it
- 19:08Speaker 2: is going to come on right now. We're going to
- 19:10Speaker 2: talk about some things, and we're also going to go
- 19:14Speaker 2: back to the book later. And if anybody have any
- 19:16Speaker 2: questions about the book, if you're watching, I'll try to
- 19:19Speaker 2: answer them as much as I can without giving too
- 19:23Speaker 2: much away. But again, I thank everybody for going on
- 19:28Speaker 2: this journey with me and having patience with me, so
- 19:31Speaker 2: we can bring up my guests and we'll take it
- 19:36Speaker 2: from there. I'm the coal Now. Nicole has been with
- 19:43Speaker 2: me a couple of times, so I don't even want
- 19:46Speaker 2: to say she's a destin anymore. I want to say
- 19:48Speaker 2: she's like family. Now she's been with me. We did
- 19:51Speaker 2: a mini series on several of her books, and then
- 19:57Speaker 2: she came back again to talk about about other things.
- 20:02Speaker 2: So she's here tonight as a friend, as a family member,
- 20:07Speaker 2: as someone who I feel as though I was able
- 20:10Speaker 2: to call and ask them any event, my guess is
- 20:13Speaker 2: not able to show the one that was planned, would
- 20:17Speaker 2: you come on? And she was calling it a night,
- 20:21Speaker 2: she honestly was, But she did this one for me
- 20:25Speaker 2: and she was able to come on. But I think
- 20:27Speaker 2: where she's at she's probably having some connection problems. But
- 20:32Speaker 2: we spoke earlier, and we speak from time to time
- 20:36Speaker 2: when she's not too busy. She's an author of many,
- 20:39Speaker 2: many books, and she can talk about some of them.
- 20:42Speaker 2: But the last thing that we spoke about was her
- 20:46Speaker 2: being surprised, and I don't think it was a pleasant
- 20:49Speaker 2: surprise on her behalf that her book was at a
- 20:54Speaker 2: festival without her knowledge or her permission to have her
- 21:00Speaker 2: book at that festival. So I know she would like
- 21:06Speaker 2: to talk about how she's feeling about having someone put
- 21:10Speaker 2: her book in a place that she didn't give authorization
- 21:13Speaker 2: for And as an author, and for you who are
- 21:17Speaker 2: starting to write and those who you have already been writing,
- 21:21Speaker 2: be mindful when you publish your books. I'm not an
- 21:25Speaker 2: expert on it. I just try to be as careful
- 21:29Speaker 2: as I can. I try to monitor my books. You
- 21:32Speaker 2: have people who are not who they say they are,
- 21:38Speaker 2: and they'll try to hone in on your goodness. And
- 21:42Speaker 2: when I say your goodness, I mean on the good
- 21:44Speaker 2: things that you're doing. They'll try to take a part
- 21:48Speaker 2: of that from you and make it their own. And
- 21:53Speaker 2: that's what may have happened to Nicole, that they took
- 21:57Speaker 2: a big part of her which is her craft h
- 22:00Speaker 2: and that's her writing, and they put it at a festival.
- 22:05Speaker 2: I don't know what type of festival it is. I'm
- 22:07Speaker 2: not sure if she found out what type of festival
- 22:10Speaker 2: it was, but she wasn't happening when she spoke to
- 22:15Speaker 2: me about it. And you know, I told her she
- 22:18Speaker 2: needs to get with her management team so they can
- 22:20Speaker 2: grab control of that so it won't happen again. And
- 22:24Speaker 2: for those of you are listening, I hope you have
- 22:27Speaker 2: a great management team or a great team working with
- 22:30Speaker 2: you so they can keep their eyes and ears out
- 22:34Speaker 2: for I'll say books snatches. They'll snatch, try to snatch
- 22:39Speaker 2: your book up and promote it as if they're the
- 22:43Speaker 2: promoter for your book. So that could be a legal
- 22:47Speaker 2: matter for her, That could be something that she may
- 22:51Speaker 2: want to look into or find out who the person
- 22:56Speaker 2: was and what their intentions were on putting that book
- 22:59Speaker 2: out there. I don't know whether it was good intentions
- 23:02Speaker 2: or whether it was something they wanted to do to
- 23:04Speaker 2: harm her or to bring her credit down as far
- 23:11Speaker 2: as who she is and what she's about. So you
- 23:15Speaker 2: have to be mindful when you put things out there.
- 23:19Speaker 2: Other people are always watching, and there's always somebody out
- 23:22Speaker 2: there ready to take your place. And no matter what
- 23:24Speaker 2: you do, whether you're an author, whether you're a singer,
- 23:28Speaker 2: whether you're an actor actress, it happens where people are
- 23:35Speaker 2: not so kind when it comes to people doing things
- 23:39Speaker 2: that they love, when it comes to people really minding
- 23:43Speaker 2: their own business and on their own path. The kids
- 23:48Speaker 2: say that people are haters. Be it as it may.
- 23:54Speaker 2: Some people may consider people haters. I feel as though
- 24:00Speaker 2: it's enough out there for everyone. So if it was
- 24:04Speaker 2: your ideal of this person, or anybody's idea to take
- 24:06Speaker 2: somebody else's work and put it out there and present
- 24:10Speaker 2: it as if they were a part of it, why
- 24:16Speaker 2: not call and ask that person, would you mind me
- 24:19Speaker 2: presenting your book at a festival or presenting your stuff
- 24:25Speaker 2: or whatever it is that you created at wherever it
- 24:28Speaker 2: is that they want it to be. That would be
- 24:31Speaker 2: the logical thing to do instead of just going out
- 24:35Speaker 2: and just doing that. I received phone calls from people
- 24:38Speaker 2: who say they, oh, they want to have my book
- 24:41Speaker 2: at some place. They want to have it here, they
- 24:43Speaker 2: want to have there. And one of the things that
- 24:44Speaker 2: I noticed that they did was they started dropping names.
- 24:48Speaker 2: You know, they started dropping some well known publishing company.
- 24:55Speaker 2: To me, that was a turnoff. If you are who
- 24:58Speaker 2: you say you are, then you don't need to drop
- 25:00Speaker 2: names of publishing companies. And if I wanted to be
- 25:03Speaker 2: involved with that publishing company, I can contact them myself
- 25:06Speaker 2: or have my team contacting. It's nice that you reached
- 25:09Speaker 2: out to me, but it feels as though something was
- 25:11Speaker 2: behind it. And for a couple of the people that
- 25:13Speaker 2: I spoke to, we found that there were other things
- 25:16Speaker 2: that were behind it, and so we're mindful of people.
- 25:21Speaker 2: And they would call, and then they would call again,
- 25:23Speaker 2: and they would use a different number. They would have
- 25:26Speaker 2: their partners or buddies or whoever call with a different number.
- 25:32Speaker 2: One time it'll be a man, the next time it'll
- 25:34Speaker 2: be a woman. The voice would be lighter, They'll be
- 25:37Speaker 2: calling from a different area code, selling me the same stuff,
- 25:41Speaker 2: telling me that they want me to sign with them,
- 25:43Speaker 2: they'll send me a contract. Like really, I'm not sure
- 25:47Speaker 2: if anybody's heard of Boogoo, but this is no fool here.
- 25:51Speaker 2: I'm very I try to be as careful as I
- 25:52Speaker 2: can be with everything that I do. And that's just
- 25:57Speaker 2: some advice for those who are or just starting out
- 26:01Speaker 2: and for those who've already been in the business for years.
- 26:05Speaker 2: Just to keep that in the back of your head
- 26:07Speaker 2: that people are out there and they're watching and they're
- 26:12Speaker 2: just waiting for their moment to just go in. And
- 26:16Speaker 2: I think they try to catch people when they're vulnerable.
- 26:19Speaker 2: You know. They look at somebody's books, whether they're doing
- 26:22Speaker 2: well or whether they're not doing well. They figured this
- 26:24Speaker 2: is the time to strike. So be careful as far
- 26:28Speaker 2: as what you write and who you associate with, and
- 26:33Speaker 2: any contract that they want you to sign, read the
- 26:38Speaker 2: fine nine. They may offer you money, hundreds or thousands
- 26:41Speaker 2: of dollars. They're ready to make money off of you.
- 26:46Speaker 2: My children's book, she named me Stacy. Some people are
- 26:50Speaker 2: told me, oh, yeah, we can make a cartoon out
- 26:52Speaker 2: of this. Well, that's something I thought I can do. Myself,
- 26:55Speaker 2: but it's not the time for it right now. I'm
- 26:58Speaker 2: not ready to make Stacy a cartoon. That's their idea
- 27:04Speaker 2: of saying, we want the rights to your book. No,
- 27:12Speaker 2: I don't sell the rights to anything that I create.
- 27:18Speaker 2: I may have a conversation with you, but I don't
- 27:20Speaker 2: sell my rights to you because it's my right to
- 27:24Speaker 2: keep my rights to myself and to publish and to
- 27:28Speaker 2: put it out there the way that I want to.
- 27:29Speaker 2: I wouldn't care about sold one book, and it's been
- 27:33Speaker 2: fifteen or twenty years, it's still my book, So I'm
- 27:37Speaker 2: not going to sell rights to you. There is several
- 27:41Speaker 2: people who share the same name that I have. The
- 27:44Speaker 2: only thing is this is my name and that could
- 27:46Speaker 2: be their pin name. No shade to anybody. But somebody
- 27:50Speaker 2: called me and asked me how was my book doing?
- 27:53Speaker 2: And they used the title that I've heard of and
- 27:57Speaker 2: it belongs to someone else, and I had to tell
- 28:00Speaker 2: them they had the wrong person. So they apologized for that.
- 28:03Speaker 2: But then they sent me a text message and an email.
- 28:06Speaker 2: How they got my phone number I don't know, but
- 28:08Speaker 2: they apologized and said that it was their mistake and
- 28:11Speaker 2: they wanted and they I guess they did some homework
- 28:13Speaker 2: and they found out which books were mine, and they
- 28:16Speaker 2: asked me about working with them on those books. I
- 28:23Speaker 2: didn't even entertain it. I was just so turned off
- 28:28Speaker 2: for them calling me in the first place and getting
- 28:30Speaker 2: in touch with me to ask me about a book
- 28:32Speaker 2: that didn't even belong to me. Again, we shared the
- 28:35Speaker 2: same name, but we didn't share that book. I have
- 28:37Speaker 2: nothing to do with that person's book, and it's probably
- 28:40Speaker 2: a great book. It's just that I'm not going to
- 28:42Speaker 2: take ownership for something that wasn't mine. So that also
- 28:45Speaker 2: gets you right back into the habitual lie. I gotta
- 28:48Speaker 2: lie and say, oh, yeah, that's my book. Yeah, send
- 28:51Speaker 2: me the money for it. I can sign for it.
- 28:55Speaker 2: That's not who I am. That's not things that I do.
- 28:58Speaker 2: So I see that Nicole Well still isn't able to
- 29:02Speaker 2: get through through tonight. And I'm not going to try
- 29:08Speaker 2: to keep you guys. I'm not going to keep trying
- 29:10Speaker 2: to ramble on about anything. But again, if you are
- 29:14Speaker 2: in the Maryland the DMB area, stop by the Noble
- 29:19Speaker 2: Banquet Hall on November sixteenth or four pm. I am
- 29:23Speaker 2: releasing my book and get it signed and have a
- 29:33Speaker 2: great time.
- 29:53Speaker 1: I don't know what happened to Black Diamond, but we'll
- 29:55Speaker 1: see if she comes back home. I know she's excited
- 30:08Speaker 1: about her book and being able to share it, so
- 30:12Speaker 1: hopefully she'll be able to come back on. I don't
- 30:13Speaker 1: know what happened. I'll tell you. It's just been one
- 30:16Speaker 1: thing after another. But yet we press so missing a pole.
- 30:22Speaker 2: How are you doing? I can't hear you.
- 30:38Speaker 1: She's back, Black Diamond's back.
- 30:41Speaker 2: Yeah, I'm sorry. I have no idea what happened. That
- 30:45Speaker 2: has never happened to me before. But I was talking
- 30:47Speaker 2: about you earlier when I thought you was able to
- 30:50Speaker 2: get on the Cold Thank you, thank you, thank you
- 30:52Speaker 2: a thousand times. Thank you for coming on the show
- 30:56Speaker 2: and such short notice. I was telling them that you
- 31:00Speaker 2: had been on the show before, we did a mini series,
- 31:03Speaker 2: and you have even come back to talk and discuss
- 31:06Speaker 2: other things. So I don't consider you. I don't consider
- 31:09Speaker 2: you a guest anymore. I consider you like family. You
- 31:11Speaker 2: come at the drop of a dime, and you're then.
- 31:14Speaker 2: You've always been supportive, and I truly appreciate you for
- 31:18Speaker 2: doing that. So we spoke about something else that we're
- 31:22Speaker 2: going to be working on together, and I'm going to
- 31:24Speaker 2: be talking to you about that, and I was talking
- 31:28Speaker 2: to them about our conversation earlier about your book being
- 31:31Speaker 2: at a festival and you didn't give permission for it
- 31:35Speaker 2: to be at the festival. How did you find out
- 31:38Speaker 2: that the book was there? You're a mute. I can't
- 31:45Speaker 2: hear you. I can hear you now. No, you went
- 31:58Speaker 2: back off. Your headphones had some some sound in it,
- 32:04Speaker 2: so you might have to put them back on because
- 32:05Speaker 2: I can hear I can hear noise. It had some
- 32:14Speaker 2: type of sound and it made some kind of noise.
- 32:20Speaker 1: Should need to check her phone settings.
- 32:24Speaker 2: Check your phone settings, Nicole, No, I still can't hear you.
- 32:43Speaker 2: Your you freeze up every once in a while, but
- 32:46Speaker 2: I still can't hear you. You check your phone settings,
- 32:49Speaker 2: or you may have to go out and come back in. Well, anyway,
- 33:02Speaker 2: that's about the gist of what's been going on with me.
- 33:06Speaker 2: I will oh I will be traveling up to New
- 33:10Speaker 2: York November the second. I have some surprises for a
- 33:15Speaker 2: few people. I would surprise myself when I found out something.
- 33:20Speaker 2: I want to let you know about it. I'll let
- 33:24Speaker 2: you know about it during my show in November after
- 33:28Speaker 2: the sixteenth. Well, after the second, I'll be able to
- 33:31Speaker 2: share it with everybody and it blew me away. So
- 33:36Speaker 2: I don't want to give about too much of it.
- 33:38Speaker 2: But it was really nice. Nope, still can't hear you.
- 33:43Speaker 2: I have no idea what's going on? Well, We're gonna
- 33:49Speaker 2: play in a NOD game. I'll ask the questions and
- 33:51Speaker 2: you not. We spoke, can you hear me? Okay? Good? Now?
- 33:58Speaker 2: I spoke to them about out your book being at
- 34:02Speaker 2: a festival. Was it a friend that told you about that?
- 34:07Speaker 2: Or did you just see it pop up on the internet.
- 34:11Speaker 2: It wasn't a friend that told you that your book
- 34:13Speaker 2: was at the festival? Was it a family member that
- 34:21Speaker 2: told you your book was at the festival? So I'm
- 34:25Speaker 2: trying to figure out how did you find out the
- 34:27Speaker 2: book was at the festival? Oh? You was emailed? See
- 34:32Speaker 2: now this is where the old part of me comes
- 34:34Speaker 2: in that because I got to put my glasses on
- 34:35Speaker 2: so I can read it. You was emailed by a promoter.
- 34:40Speaker 1: Oh?
- 34:40Speaker 2: So was it the promoter that emailed you? Were they
- 34:44Speaker 2: the ones that had your book at the festival or
- 34:46Speaker 2: did they see it there and say that they was
- 34:48Speaker 2: interested in something? Well? I hope that you was able
- 35:02Speaker 2: to get some royalties from your book being there at
- 35:04Speaker 2: the festival and even find out who was behind Do
- 35:10Speaker 2: you know who was behind it? She's typeding in chat
- 35:17Speaker 2: and I'm gonna read it out to you. I know
- 35:19Speaker 2: this is a little bit unorthodox. They saw it there,
- 35:22Speaker 2: they read it and wanted to promote it. I got
- 35:25Speaker 2: some royalties. Oh well, that was one good thing. That
- 35:28Speaker 2: that's one good thing that you was able to do.
- 35:31Speaker 2: So do you know who who was behind it? The
- 35:38Speaker 2: person or the persons that took it to the festival.
- 35:47Speaker 2: I'm thinking that it was my ex because he did
- 35:50Speaker 2: it before. Wow, have you sought legal action against this
- 35:56Speaker 2: person for taking your books to a festival? No legal action? Well,
- 36:10Speaker 2: the thing is, I'm not sure if it's a good
- 36:11Speaker 2: thing or a bad thing. He had to have purchased
- 36:13Speaker 2: a lot of your books to take it to a
- 36:15Speaker 2: festival and sell them, and then you get royalties from it.
- 36:20Speaker 2: The only bad thing that I see, well, it was
- 36:23Speaker 2: in San Diegow. It was in San Diego. You're not
- 36:25Speaker 2: in San Diego? Are you? So this alleged ex decided
- 36:39Speaker 2: to have your books in San Diego? Maybe? Do you
- 36:43Speaker 2: think your ex was in San Diego? At the time,
- 36:45Speaker 2: or that he knew somebody that he had a connection with.
- 36:48Speaker 2: I know, I'm asking a lot of questions and you
- 36:50Speaker 2: can type but so quick. Well, just like I was
- 37:09Speaker 2: saying earlier, that you really have to try to protect
- 37:12Speaker 2: yourself and protect what you create, your craft, your artistry
- 37:20Speaker 2: and everything you have to protect it. And like I said,
- 37:23Speaker 2: there's people out there that for some reason, they want
- 37:27Speaker 2: to act as if they're your manager or promoter. Or
- 37:33Speaker 2: if this was your ex that did this, I couldn't
- 37:37Speaker 2: even begin to phantom why he would have your books there.
- 37:42Speaker 2: I was in Baton Rouge at the time of the festival.
- 37:45Speaker 2: He also had a car dealership in California. Email me
- 37:49Speaker 2: during the time of the festival, which was close to
- 37:51Speaker 2: the fourth July. Nicole, was you saying something because it
- 37:57Speaker 2: sounded like I heard something. So you were in Baton
- 38:02Speaker 2: Rouge at the time of the festival and you said
- 38:04Speaker 2: he also had a car dealership in California. Email you
- 38:08Speaker 2: during the time of the festival, which was close to
- 38:10Speaker 2: the fourth of July. Do you think this X is
- 38:14Speaker 2: either trying to annoy you or trying to get back
- 38:17Speaker 2: with you or both. You don't know. Have you heard
- 38:30Speaker 2: from him since I think you said it was in September.
- 38:35Speaker 2: September to twenty fourth, a few weeks ago when you
- 38:37Speaker 2: found out about it. Oh, he's not Oh, excuse me,
- 38:41Speaker 2: he's not talking to you. He's not talking to you.
- 38:43Speaker 2: But he's using your stuff and he's promoting it his way.
- 38:47Speaker 2: And do you think he's selling it for more than
- 38:51Speaker 2: what it's priced and he's making a profit from it
- 38:54Speaker 2: as well. That's really shady. He could be because he
- 39:17Speaker 2: loves money. Well, you know, I ain't gonna say he's
- 39:24Speaker 2: a broke person. But for somebody to do that, and
- 39:33Speaker 2: I'm not accusing this man of anything, but for somebody
- 39:36Speaker 2: to do that, they really have to be desperate. He
- 39:42Speaker 2: did the budget when we were Oh he did the
- 39:46Speaker 2: budget when we were together. To see. Now here's where
- 39:48Speaker 2: I start telling women about a lesson. You don't let
- 39:53Speaker 2: nobody deal with your money. You take care of your
- 39:56Speaker 2: own business, and you take care of your own money,
- 40:00Speaker 2: because when they get too close to it, things start
- 40:05Speaker 2: to happen. I know that some people they thinkure, well
- 40:08Speaker 2: what's mine is his and what's his is mine, and
- 40:10Speaker 2: we together and I love this person, and they might
- 40:12Speaker 2: boo or whatever. The case may be, but we not
- 40:15Speaker 2: much of a boo when it comes to my money,
- 40:18Speaker 2: because you'll be boohooing if you mess with my money.
- 40:22Speaker 2: Ain't the anger coming back? That's just me saying so.
- 40:28Speaker 2: And what about posting something you know on on social
- 40:33Speaker 2: media that if they find your book at festivals or
- 40:42Speaker 2: find them in different places and whatnot, even though your
- 40:44Speaker 2: books are all over the place, you know, and that's
- 40:46Speaker 2: because you gave permission. But do you think my money
- 40:51Speaker 2: was my money and he gave me his Oh go ahead, girl,
- 40:56Speaker 2: go ahead, I hear you. But but still trying to
- 41:02Speaker 2: see if you can put something on social media so
- 41:06Speaker 2: when this, if this happens again, that people will know
- 41:10Speaker 2: to contact you directly and know that you didn't get
- 41:14Speaker 2: permission to him, or you can just put a statement
- 41:17Speaker 2: on social media letting people know that this has happened
- 41:22Speaker 2: and it's possible that it happens again. The only positive thing,
- 41:25Speaker 2: if you want to say it's a positive thing, is
- 41:27Speaker 2: that you're getting royalties. But then he's benefiting from it
- 41:31Speaker 2: as well, or someone is benefiting from it as well,
- 41:35Speaker 2: which is it's not good. It's not something that should
- 41:41Speaker 2: be happening. You really have to get with your team
- 41:46Speaker 2: to be able to see if you can do I'm
- 41:50Speaker 2: not a lawyer, cease and desist that kind of Oh,
- 41:53Speaker 2: I guess it wouldn't freak you out, especially with him
- 41:56Speaker 2: not speaking to you. Now. Is this the ex that
- 42:01Speaker 2: the books were about or that we discussed before. Oh lord,
- 42:09Speaker 2: he's back this guy. Don't give up, dew We you
- 42:16Speaker 2: guys have to. If you haven't seen this show. If
- 42:21Speaker 2: you haven't seen the show, we did a trilogy and
- 42:24Speaker 2: we really got to know Nicole and we got to
- 42:28Speaker 2: learn about this X of hers. So I suggest you
- 42:31Speaker 2: go back. I think that was like in March we
- 42:33Speaker 2: did that. Go look at the replay and listen to
- 42:39Speaker 2: her journey with this gentleman because it's something. It is something,
- 42:44Speaker 2: and the books that she wrote about there's something as well.
- 42:48Speaker 2: But you really have to go and do the replay
- 42:52Speaker 2: and listen to her journey about how things got started
- 43:00Speaker 2: and how things ended. But evidently it didn't end on
- 43:03Speaker 2: his part. You seem to have moved on. Am I
- 43:08Speaker 2: correct that you moved on? Because that seemed like it's
- 43:12Speaker 2: a whole other show. So you got me leaning to
- 43:17Speaker 2: the side now because I want to know more. I
- 43:20Speaker 2: wasn't even think if we were going there with him.
- 43:23Speaker 2: He was invited to your brother's wedding and you didn't go,
- 43:26Speaker 2: and he didn't go. Okay, you didn't go because you
- 43:31Speaker 2: thought he was gonna actually be there and you didn't
- 43:35Speaker 2: want to see him. Now on, do you know why
- 43:39Speaker 2: he didn't go. Do you think that his reason was
- 43:41Speaker 2: the same, that he didn't go because he thought because
- 43:44Speaker 2: it's your brother that you would be there, or that
- 43:48Speaker 2: he was afraid. Probably he was afraid of running into you.
- 43:53Speaker 2: So we already know that he's a brother's friend. Are
- 43:56Speaker 2: they still? Have you told your brother what's been going
- 43:58Speaker 2: on as far him putting your book at the festival
- 44:02Speaker 2: or you suspecting that it was him because you don't
- 44:06Speaker 2: have proof that it was him, do you? And you
- 44:09Speaker 2: said that somebody from a car dealership contacted you. I
- 44:30Speaker 2: thought after all of that that that would be over,
- 44:33Speaker 2: that he would go his way and he would leave
- 44:37Speaker 2: you alone. He still has a wife, doesn't he? Or
- 44:44Speaker 2: did she finally say I'm fed up, it's too much,
- 44:49Speaker 2: I'm moving on. You can go your way and the
- 44:54Speaker 2: next question I have, I'll ask you a question right
- 44:56Speaker 2: after you have the next question. Yes, and he says
- 45:09Speaker 2: that he doesn't want to be in our business and
- 45:13Speaker 2: that I shouldn't taking the car because I needed No,
- 45:17Speaker 2: he isn't married anymore. Well, somebody had sense, I guess.
- 45:21Speaker 2: But he said you shouldn't have taken the car. What
- 45:23Speaker 2: car is he talking about, because I don't hear nothing
- 45:26Speaker 2: about no car until just now. So in other words,
- 45:28Speaker 2: that he had a car and he figured that you
- 45:30Speaker 2: took his car. Look, there's a lot going on with
- 45:33Speaker 2: this guy, and he's not even still in a relationship
- 45:36Speaker 2: with you, but it seems like he just wants it appears,
- 45:42Speaker 2: and I'll try to keep it clean because I can't
- 45:44Speaker 2: say things for sure because I don't know him. Like,
- 45:49Speaker 2: he has nothing else to do. He isn't married anymore,
- 45:52Speaker 2: he's not in a relationship with you anymore. I guess
- 45:55Speaker 2: he still speaks to your brother, and I guess that
- 46:06Speaker 2: he has nothing else to do. Is he in the
- 46:09Speaker 2: same town with you now? Or is he in San Diego?
- 46:16Speaker 2: Because that's where the book was at. We're gonna have
- 46:38Speaker 2: to have another show because this seems just to be
- 46:43Speaker 2: adding up to a little bit more than where we
- 46:46Speaker 2: left off at. We might have to call that show bookmark,
- 46:49Speaker 2: because that's what this is about. It's about a whole
- 46:52Speaker 2: nother chapter. The car dealership in California emailed you about
- 47:01Speaker 2: a car. He still has some of my personal belongings
- 47:04Speaker 2: and won't give them back. He's in Baton Rouge and
- 47:07Speaker 2: I'm in Monroe, my hometown. Your personal belongings, the person
- 47:14Speaker 2: belongs that he have of yours. Is it something that
- 47:16Speaker 2: you want back? Something that you can live without? Now?
- 47:26Speaker 2: I know people have personal things that mean a lot
- 47:29Speaker 2: to them, but to have closure with this guy, is
- 47:32Speaker 2: it worth getting those things back? And you want your
- 47:38Speaker 2: coat back and you want your Alex, your Alexa back?
- 47:42Speaker 1: What? So?
- 47:43Speaker 2: Now you got to catch me up on this Alexa?
- 47:44Speaker 2: What is Is it some ear buds or EarPods or
- 47:49Speaker 2: or is it Alexa? You're saying alexis like a car. Oh,
- 47:54Speaker 2: she must be talking to her son. What is an Alexa?
- 48:01Speaker 2: Beat me up on that. Now you're done. Went from
- 48:04Speaker 2: Alexa to Echo dot like, I know what that is.
- 48:08Speaker 2: I'm from Minatari stages. You're talking about something? What that
- 48:14Speaker 2: some kind of gadget? I gotta ask my kids what
- 48:16Speaker 2: Alexa is? And well, oh, it's a smart speak go
- 48:21Speaker 2: oh thanks helped me out because I didn't know what
- 48:23Speaker 2: it was. Okay, well, tweety, he probably sold that. He
- 48:31Speaker 2: either sold it or he's hanging on to it. I'm sorry.
- 48:34Speaker 2: I'm sorry. If he's trying to get money off your books.
- 48:39Speaker 2: He either sold it because he needed the money, or
- 48:42Speaker 2: either he's holding on to it because he wants to
- 48:44Speaker 2: hold on to you because he know that those things
- 48:47Speaker 2: meant a lot to you. So he's maybe he's thinking
- 48:52Speaker 2: that you're gonna contact him so you can get those
- 48:55Speaker 2: things back or talk about those things because he's holding
- 48:59Speaker 2: onto some stuff. I'm not saying it's just stuff. I
- 49:04Speaker 2: get it that you want your coat back, you know,
- 49:08Speaker 2: because it does get cold out there, and your echo
- 49:12Speaker 2: dot which is a smart speaker which you can use
- 49:14Speaker 2: because you are, you know, an author and you do
- 49:17Speaker 2: a lot of speaking, so you can use that back.
- 49:19Speaker 2: But with the reyalties that he's bringing it for you,
- 49:26Speaker 2: get another coat, get another smart speaker. Oh girl, let
- 49:32Speaker 2: him kick the lingerie. You can imagine what he's doing
- 49:35Speaker 2: with that. Let him kick the lingerie. Tell him that's
- 49:38Speaker 2: a Christmas skift that's from you to him, Merry Christmas,
- 49:43Speaker 2: and he has the lingerie. Come on, now that could
- 49:47Speaker 2: be what his wife may have found and left him
- 49:50Speaker 2: because he found that he's still after all this time,
- 49:54Speaker 2: was holding onto your lingerie. Like, if he's telling her
- 49:56Speaker 2: it's over with, why would he still hold on to
- 49:58Speaker 2: your lingerie? So something in his mind may be saying
- 50:04Speaker 2: that it ain't over at least on his part, but
- 50:09Speaker 2: on your part, Well, let me ask you this. On
- 50:12Speaker 2: your part, is it over now? For that you ain't
- 50:18Speaker 2: have to type in anything. You couldna just oh girl,
- 50:22Speaker 2: you that make me sit back on that one. Now.
- 50:27Speaker 2: The answer to saying I don't know is that I
- 50:29Speaker 2: don't know that you don't know whether it's over on
- 50:31Speaker 2: your part or that he doesn't think that it's over.
- 50:37Speaker 2: Which one is it? I'm gonna ask this question this way.
- 50:40Speaker 2: Is it is the relationship over for you? The relationship
- 50:44Speaker 2: with him? Is it over for you? Where you're done?
- 50:48Speaker 2: Whether you got the stuff back or not. He thinks
- 51:12Speaker 2: that he owns me. I'm done? Well with that, said, Nicole,
- 51:19Speaker 2: I want you to be careful because this could be
- 51:23Speaker 2: somebody who may need some supporter services, So be careful. Okay,
- 51:34Speaker 2: you're saying you're done, but if you're thinking that he
- 51:37Speaker 2: feels as though he owns you, and he's holding on
- 51:40Speaker 2: to He's holding on to things like that, you know, Monserie,
- 51:45Speaker 2: a smart speaker, your coat, excuse me, you're smart speaker,
- 51:53Speaker 2: your coat, and now your books. He's still trying to
- 51:56Speaker 2: be a part of your life. You're done with that.
- 52:01Speaker 2: I just want you to be safe because sometimes it's
- 52:05Speaker 2: hard for people when there's a breakup. And for him,
- 52:10Speaker 2: he may have thought that he lost a lot. You know,
- 52:13Speaker 2: he lost you, he lost his wife. Wait a minute,
- 52:20Speaker 2: I remember you telling me he was a prominent person.
- 52:24Speaker 2: So he needs to be a little bit more careful
- 52:26Speaker 2: with the way he's going about things as well, because
- 52:30Speaker 2: he can lose a lot more than you and his wife.
- 52:35Speaker 2: You know, people are hearing you, and people may be
- 52:41Speaker 2: watching him, you know, watching the things that he's doing.
- 52:45Speaker 2: So being that he had the position that you told
- 52:48Speaker 2: me he had, he needs to be careful. He lost
- 52:52Speaker 2: his government job and clients. So you really need to
- 52:58Speaker 2: be careful because that rate there, that rate there may
- 53:06Speaker 2: not turn out well. And I'm hoping that he seeks
- 53:11Speaker 2: help for what he's going through. I don't know what
- 53:17Speaker 2: he's going through or what he may be going through.
- 53:19Speaker 2: I I you know, all jokes aside for what you're
- 53:22Speaker 2: saying right here. I'm really hoping that he gets some
- 53:25Speaker 2: support and I hope that he has to support system
- 53:29Speaker 2: to help him through what he's going through. But you
- 53:33Speaker 2: and I we got to talk. We gotta talk. We
- 53:36Speaker 2: gotta talk about a lot of things. But we're gonna
- 53:38Speaker 2: talk about this too. But we're gonna talk about this
- 53:40Speaker 2: in private because I know some other things that I
- 53:43Speaker 2: know you're not willing to share with everybody, So I
- 53:45Speaker 2: don't want to put you out there. And oh, that
- 53:48Speaker 2: is that is wonderful that you're praying, and I hope
- 53:50Speaker 2: that you're praying for him as well, And I'm gonna
- 53:51Speaker 2: be praying for both of you because it puts you
- 53:55Speaker 2: in a situation and it definitely is putting him in
- 53:58Speaker 2: a situation as well. But again, as always, it is
- 54:03Speaker 2: wonderful having you as my backup. It's wonderful talking to you.
- 54:07Speaker 2: We talk anyway. But this I didn't know anything about.
- 54:10Speaker 2: But you know now I got to get to the
- 54:12Speaker 2: nitty gritty of a lot of this stuff, and I
- 54:14Speaker 2: do want to know, but I'm not going to share
- 54:16Speaker 2: with everybody else because you know how we do. I
- 54:18Speaker 2: don't put your business out there like that. But I
- 54:21Speaker 2: definitely didn't know about this, and what I wanted to
- 54:26Speaker 2: do is thank everybody for listening, for tuning in, for
- 54:29Speaker 2: being a part of this episode tonight. I will be
- 54:33Speaker 2: back on the eighteenth and with another guest. So I'm
- 54:39Speaker 2: hoping that you guys stay tuned and stay tuned with
- 54:42Speaker 2: the other divas of the Crew podcast because they're on.
- 54:46Speaker 2: We're on every day except Tuesdays. We are looking for
- 54:49Speaker 2: other hosts to have your own show. Somebody's interested, get
- 54:53Speaker 2: in touch with any of the divas. You can get
- 54:55Speaker 2: in touch with the producer, the director, which is the
- 54:58Speaker 2: Queen of Collaborations, Angela Thomas Smith. You can get in
- 55:02Speaker 2: contact with her as well if you're interested. Our year
- 55:05Speaker 2: will be coming to an end in December and we'll
- 55:09Speaker 2: be on hiatus for a little while, but we will
- 55:11Speaker 2: be joining you back again in February, so that'll be
- 55:15Speaker 2: your chance to come on. She'll take you through the journey.
- 55:18Speaker 2: We're here to support you as well. Thank you so much, Nicole.
- 55:22Speaker 2: But I'm gonna get in touch with you because we
- 55:24Speaker 2: have some stuff to talk about that's pertaining to next year,
- 55:27Speaker 2: not to this right here. That's something separate, but you
- 55:30Speaker 2: might be thinking about another book called Bookmark because you
- 55:33Speaker 2: Matt to put a bookmark in that. So good night.
- 55:36Speaker 2: Thank you again for your last for the last minute
- 55:39Speaker 2: notice of joining me. Thank you everybody, have a wonderful evening,
