- 0:00Speaker 1: The Mark Simon Show, Delivery the news before it is
- 0:04Speaker 1: on seven to ten. Woo Hey, we'll get to all
- 0:10Speaker 1: the races last night. We'll get to who won, who
- 0:14Speaker 1: lost to Uh, well, we'll get all of that coming
- 0:17Speaker 1: up President Trump. Hey. And by the way, if you
- 0:19Speaker 1: just tuned in, just so you know, we start at
- 0:22Speaker 1: nine o'clock. Now the show is now nine to noon.
- 0:25Speaker 1: If you're just tuning in, you missed the first hour.
- 0:27Speaker 1: It's nine to noon every day now here on seven
- 0:31Speaker 1: to ten. Wor So President Trump has a new strategy
- 0:37Speaker 1: when it comes to Iran, Trump is now floating. They
- 0:41Speaker 1: spoke with Actually we did an interview on Real America's Voice.
- 0:46Speaker 1: You know what that is. It's okay, it's not a cable.
- 0:49Speaker 1: I don't know what it is. It's uh, you got
- 0:51Speaker 1: Fox News, you got Newsmax. These are the two big,
- 0:56Speaker 1: you know, conservative cable. You got Five Business. That's very
- 1:01Speaker 1: good too, especially Cudlow. That's probably the best show to
- 1:04Speaker 1: be watching every day. In fact, I'll be on that today.
- 1:06Speaker 1: But then you got these other things called I can't
- 1:11Speaker 1: even remember what they're called. There's like Real America's Voice,
- 1:15Speaker 1: there's another one called One America Net. I mean they
- 1:18Speaker 1: got old. These are the like the little ones. And
- 1:22Speaker 1: sometimes they will you know, some of those shows on
- 1:25Speaker 1: there will call me to be on and I'll say no.
- 1:27Speaker 1: So I don't know why. I don't know why President
- 1:29Speaker 1: Trump is doing it, but he likes to do interviews.
- 1:32Speaker 1: He does a lot of interviews. All right. Some of
- 1:35Speaker 1: you were saying, Hey, I've seen you on those shows
- 1:37Speaker 1: on Real America's Voice and One Net or whatever. Yeah,
- 1:42Speaker 1: once in a while, because I'm always working on my
- 1:44Speaker 1: TV setup at home. You know, get your little TV studio.
- 1:47Speaker 1: You can do a lot of shows from there. So
- 1:49Speaker 1: if I got to test a lighting or a new microphone,
- 1:52Speaker 1: that's why you do it, just to test it. I
- 1:53Speaker 1: shouldn't have said that on the ear. But he's on
- 1:55Speaker 1: this Real America's Voice, he said. When it comes to Iran,
- 1:59Speaker 1: he's looking at it. You easy relaxed war phase. I
- 2:06Speaker 1: don't know what that is, an easy relaxed war phase.
- 2:10Speaker 1: Trump said an interview that he's frustrated with the rans
- 2:13Speaker 1: devious negotiators and felt that he could try to bop along.
- 2:21Speaker 1: That's a quote. He'll bop along and win the conflict
- 2:26Speaker 1: through financial leverage. Okay, now this sounds terrible. This sounds
- 2:30Speaker 1: like the dumbest worst war strategy ever. Makes it sound
- 2:33Speaker 1: like he doesn't know what the hell he's doing. But
- 2:35Speaker 1: it's Donald Trump, so behind that is probably some incredible strategy.
- 2:41Speaker 1: Probably knows exactly what he's doing here. But he says,
- 2:44Speaker 1: we could just keep it alone. I don't know what
- 2:49Speaker 1: that means. We just just keep it alone, he said,
- 2:51Speaker 1: and they're going to fail. We could just keep you know,
- 2:54Speaker 1: doing sort of like nice and easy, relaxed. These are quotes.
- 3:00Speaker 1: I'm sort of negotiating. You see, they're very devious negotiators.
- 3:04Speaker 1: They'll agree to something, then they'll go out and tell
- 3:07Speaker 1: the press they never agreed to it. They're very dishonest people. Now,
- 3:11Speaker 1: he said, the other option has hit them really really hard. Okay,
- 3:14Speaker 1: well that's the option most people want. But he said
- 3:17Speaker 1: the other option is just beat them economically, which we're doing.
- 3:22Speaker 1: And he said again here was just bop along. He's
- 3:25Speaker 1: got to stop saying bop along, just bop along, And
- 3:28Speaker 1: look how bad they're doing because they're nations. They got
- 3:31Speaker 1: three hundred percent inflation, the currency has no value at all.
- 3:36Speaker 1: They're not paying their soldiers, they're hang on. That's the
- 3:41Speaker 1: president now yelling at it. Where was they They're not
- 3:45Speaker 1: paying their soldiers, Their soldiers are leaving, deserting, so just
- 3:51Speaker 1: keep this up. It's not sustainable for them. The country
- 3:57Speaker 1: is poised to just collapse. Yeah, all right, I don't know.
- 4:02Speaker 1: It doesn't sound good. It doesn't sound good, but who knows.
- 4:05Speaker 1: You never know with him. With him, he just sees
- 4:07Speaker 1: things down the road nobody else can see, so it might.
- 4:11Speaker 1: I don't think it sounds terrible, but that's checking a
- 4:14Speaker 1: month and see if he was right. The whole place
- 4:16Speaker 1: is collapsing, three hundred percent inflation. People just regular citizens
- 4:21Speaker 1: now are forced to go into stores and just steal food.
- 4:25Speaker 1: You know, this is the Supreme Leadership Council, which is
- 4:27Speaker 1: a bunch of guys hiding in a cave. They're out
- 4:31Speaker 1: of They don't have an air force, they don't have
- 4:32Speaker 1: a navy, they don't have anything. So it's possible. When
- 4:36Speaker 1: he says do this for a couple of months, I
- 4:39Speaker 1: think he's talking about through the midterms. Just get through
- 4:42Speaker 1: the midterms, and then he can do whatever the hell
- 4:44Speaker 1: he wants. You can just level the whole place after that,
- 4:46Speaker 1: But you never know if it just collapses completely. Now
- 4:49Speaker 1: you might say, well, Russia keep supplying them, China, We'll
- 4:54Speaker 1: keep supplying. Well, it's not going to work because we
- 4:56Speaker 1: took out all the railroads in that last round. We
- 4:59Speaker 1: just took away all their railroad lines. Got no way
- 5:02Speaker 1: to get stuff in there. So and by the way,
- 5:05Speaker 1: President Trump now jumping in on the Pieta terror tax,
- 5:10Speaker 1: he finally has said something about it, and he said
- 5:12Speaker 1: it's just the dumbest, stupidest, amateur hour move. It's a
- 5:17Speaker 1: dangerous political experiment to just target people and to try
- 5:21Speaker 1: to tax them out of New York. He said, it
- 5:23Speaker 1: will destroy was once a great state and city. It's
- 5:27Speaker 1: pure amateur hour. He also said the federal government will
- 5:32Speaker 1: now look into it. It may be a totally illegal tax.
- 5:34Speaker 1: The court here in New York has stopped it and
- 5:37Speaker 1: temporarily and is looking at it. But it may be
- 5:42Speaker 1: it just may be a totally illegal thing, and maybe
- 5:44Speaker 1: the federal government can shut it down. But you probably
- 5:47Speaker 1: will never see that Pieta tear tax. You got to remember,
- 5:50Speaker 1: whenever Mom Donnie promises anything, you're never going to live
- 5:53Speaker 1: to see it. You'll never see free buses in New York.
- 5:56Speaker 1: You will never see a government grocery store. They'll never
- 5:58Speaker 1: get one open, and you will never probably probably never
- 6:02Speaker 1: see this Pieta tear attacks. It was a rough thing
- 6:06Speaker 1: for people to all of a sudden hear about it,
- 6:08Speaker 1: because half the people don't know what the hell a
- 6:10Speaker 1: Pieta terr attacks is a Pieta terror attacks. You know,
- 6:14Speaker 1: most people are running around looking for a dictionary trying
- 6:16Speaker 1: to look up Pieta terror whatever the hell that sounds
- 6:18Speaker 1: like something you'd order in a French restaurant. Pieta terror attacks. Also,
- 6:24Speaker 1: lots of stuff going on all over the place. CNN
- 6:29Speaker 1: now on the warpath because of El Sayad. You know this.
- 6:34Speaker 1: You know his name is what is his actual name,
- 6:37Speaker 1: abdul Achmann El Sayad. So some people are saying his
- 6:45Speaker 1: full name, CNN going crazy saying this is an anti
- 6:50Speaker 1: Muslim attack. By using his full name, it's anti Muslim. Well,
- 6:54Speaker 1: you know they did that with Obama when the President Trump,
- 6:57Speaker 1: he'd say Barak Whossein Obama, that's his name. Well, you're
- 7:02Speaker 1: saying it just to cause him problems. Well, yeah, I
- 7:06Speaker 1: guess you could. They did that with a Bush senior.
- 7:09Speaker 1: You know, they always called them George Herbert Walker Bush
- 7:13Speaker 1: trying to make them sound like some preppy, you know,
- 7:16Speaker 1: prep school, ivy League, out of touch, elite, waspy elite,
- 7:23Speaker 1: George Herbert Walker bush Nut, trying to make him sound
- 7:26Speaker 1: like one of those Vineyard vine type idiots. And it worked.
- 7:31Speaker 1: It worked with some people. So it's fair to say
- 7:34Speaker 1: somebody's full name. If it's his name, you should be
- 7:37Speaker 1: able to say it. You see that story about Mark Zuckerberg.
- 7:39Speaker 1: He's got this incredible yacht, three hundred million dollar yacht,
- 7:44Speaker 1: three hundred million for this yacht. You know, most of
- 7:48Speaker 1: these guys only use the yacht in the summer, and
- 7:51Speaker 1: usually for a month like August. Everybody uses their yacht
- 7:54Speaker 1: for the month, and then maybe Christmas they use the yacht.
- 7:58Speaker 1: Maybe there's another vacation with go out on the yacht
- 8:01Speaker 1: three hundred million for like six weeks a year, five
- 8:04Speaker 1: six weeks a year, you know, for about two million,
- 8:07Speaker 1: you get just charted the yacht for the month. But
- 8:10Speaker 1: he's out on a three hundred million dollar yacht. But
- 8:12Speaker 1: you got to remember, if you're worth four hundred billion,
- 8:17Speaker 1: three hundred million, that's like thirty dollars. That's all it
- 8:20Speaker 1: is to you. So he's out in the yacht. You know,
- 8:23Speaker 1: on a yacht that size, you got a crew of
- 8:25Speaker 1: probably twenty five people, and there's a ship in trouble.
- 8:31Speaker 1: There's a small ship that's in trouble sending out calls
- 8:34Speaker 1: that they're stranded. And when you're out there, you're supposed
- 8:38Speaker 1: to help any other ship that needs help that puts
- 8:40Speaker 1: out a distress call. But the Zuckerberg yacht didn't bother.
- 8:45Speaker 1: It was a twenty one foot skiff that ran out
- 8:47Speaker 1: of fuel and was stranded. This is off the coast
- 8:49Speaker 1: of Alaska, and you're supposed to help the other ship,
- 8:54Speaker 1: but they didn't. The Zuckerberg three hundred million dollar yacht
- 8:58Speaker 1: couldn't be bothered, and they kept going. Zuckerberg is now
- 9:01Speaker 1: defending the crew, saying they did not hear the radio call.
- 9:05Speaker 1: They were on a different radio channel, monitoring another channel.
- 9:09Speaker 1: Everybody pointing out it's the default emergency radio frequency. All
- 9:14Speaker 1: boats are expected to monitor it at all times. However,
- 9:20Speaker 1: Zuckerberg is saying, you must answer a distress call, but
- 9:26Speaker 1: this was a request for help, not a distress call,
- 9:30Speaker 1: and he's saying it's a different category. They didn't have
- 9:33Speaker 1: to answer that. It just sounds pretty cheesy. Three hundred
- 9:37Speaker 1: million dollar yacht, letting this little twenty one foot skiff
- 9:40Speaker 1: suffer out there. There's actually no legal obligation that you
- 9:45Speaker 1: have to help, but it's just considered a normal procedure
- 9:49Speaker 1: that you help. But that's that's Zuckerberg for you. Now,
- 9:55Speaker 1: last night you got a lot of things happening election wise.
- 9:57Speaker 1: You had Governor Lamont winning the primary. He will seek
- 10:02Speaker 1: re election a lot of other parties around the country.
- 10:04Speaker 1: Nobody needs to hear him. Now in this November he'll
- 10:08Speaker 1: be Lamont against the Republican candidate Ryan Fazzio. Fazzio is
- 10:13Speaker 1: a very good guy. He'd be a great governor, great
- 10:16Speaker 1: Republican governor. So in November, vote for Fazzio, get rid
- 10:20Speaker 1: of this Lamont. Lamont sometimes is a good governor, but
- 10:24Speaker 1: half the time he goes crazy, woke and does all
- 10:27Speaker 1: kinds of crazy things. Our buddy Mike Lindell, he lost
- 10:31Speaker 1: in Minnesota, did not get the nomination. If we don't
- 10:35Speaker 1: find anything, you know, then obviously I will get behind.
- 10:40Speaker 1: And now he's going to start looking at the votes.
- 10:42Speaker 1: You know, this is not a good idea for Lindell.
- 10:44Speaker 1: You know, Lindell was quite the wealthy guy. My Pillow
- 10:47Speaker 1: was quite a successful company, Great Pillows, Big Spot. I
- 10:50Speaker 1: think they were our single biggest advertiser here and they
- 10:53Speaker 1: spent a ton of money. Remember how many my Pillow
- 10:56Speaker 1: ads there were. Well, he got into that dominion election
- 11:00Speaker 1: fraud and it cost him a lot of money. He
- 11:04Speaker 1: got sued like crazy, and all you know, everything went wrong,
- 11:07Speaker 1: and I don't think there's that much money now in
- 11:09Speaker 1: Lindell world. I think my pillow suffered financially. Everybody suffered financially,
- 11:15Speaker 1: And in fact, I think he's pretty much had a
- 11:19Speaker 1: step down from my pillow. He I think owns a
- 11:22Speaker 1: piece of it, but it's not running it anymore. But
- 11:26Speaker 1: a sign of what I'm saying is Lindell did not
- 11:29Speaker 1: spend much running for governor. He was outspent like eleven
- 11:32Speaker 1: to one. But he's now talking about he shouldn't do
- 11:35Speaker 1: this again. He's going to look at the votes, and
- 11:38Speaker 1: he doesn't. He's not conceding just yet. Well like ninety
- 11:42Speaker 1: eight percent of the vote is in Lindell lost by
- 11:45Speaker 1: eleven points. That's not even close. So I think he
- 11:49Speaker 1: should just give that up and move on. The wacko
- 11:53Speaker 1: in Wisconsin Hong, the one who wanted to ban Thanksgiving,
- 11:58Speaker 1: ban this ban, that ban everything you're like hang was defeated,
- 12:02Speaker 1: So that's good news. Wisconsin got rid of their woke
- 12:06Speaker 1: socialist idiot. However, that's not the same thing in Minnesota.
- 12:10Speaker 1: And Minnesota they did vote in one of these wacko
- 12:13Speaker 1: socialists in the primary, so not a good sign. But
- 12:17Speaker 1: most likely Amy Klobucher will win and be the next
- 12:21Speaker 1: governor of Minnesota, and then you'll see Tim Waltz out
- 12:26Speaker 1: of office. I don't know what the hell that guy's
- 12:28Speaker 1: gonna do. One silly, wacky guy. Probably, you know when
- 12:32Speaker 1: you say I don't know what he's gonna do. Whenever
- 12:35Speaker 1: you say that, especially politician, anybody, whenever they leave, see
- 12:39Speaker 1: I don't know what he's going to do. Well, I
- 12:41Speaker 1: know what he's gonna It's going to be a podcast.
- 12:42Speaker 1: Everybody ends up with a podcast. Look at this, the
- 12:46Speaker 1: Obamas are back. You remember Michelle Obama had that podcast
- 12:50Speaker 1: that was just awful, just a disaster. It was the
- 12:54Speaker 1: worst podcast ever. It was Michelle Obama rambling about nothing.
- 12:59Speaker 1: You know, she looks, it's very classy when you see
- 13:01Speaker 1: her up there, she looks very distinguished, looks classy. It looks.
- 13:05Speaker 1: When you hear this podcast, you realize this is a
- 13:07Speaker 1: bubblehead who's got absolutely nothing to say, nothing to say,
- 13:12Speaker 1: not that bright, absolutely no personality, and nothing to say.
- 13:16Speaker 1: So they're coming back to the Obama's but this time
- 13:18Speaker 1: it'll be Barack Obama with her because he's a much
- 13:21Speaker 1: better talker. Obviously, the new podcast will debut. Now, what
- 13:26Speaker 1: do you think they're going to be doing? The Barack
- 13:28Speaker 1: Obama Michelle podcast. It'll be about great books. Now, he
- 13:37Speaker 1: said people don't read like they used to read, and
- 13:40Speaker 1: he wants to get people reading again. It will focus
- 13:43Speaker 1: on great Well, if people don't do something anymore, it's
- 13:46Speaker 1: because they don't want to do it anymore. And if
- 13:48Speaker 1: they really don't want to do it anymore, the last
- 13:50Speaker 1: thing they're looking for is a podcast about something they
- 13:52Speaker 1: don't like. But he's going to be about six great books.
- 13:55Speaker 1: He will focus on the six great books. The podcast
- 13:58Speaker 1: will be called a Great Book with Barack Obama. Hell
- 14:02Speaker 1: of a title. Huh the books? Let me see what
- 14:05Speaker 1: the books are? The Fire Next Time by James Baldwin,
- 14:12Speaker 1: Song of Solomon by Tony Morrison. See these are all
- 14:17Speaker 1: Barack Obama type books. Tinker Taylor soldier spy. That's John
- 14:22Speaker 1: Lecare who's a great British spy writer. Okay, it's a
- 14:25Speaker 1: good book, but you know what, rather watch a James
- 14:27Speaker 1: Bond movie than read that thing. All the King's Men
- 14:31Speaker 1: by Robert Penwarren, that's a classic about Hughey Long, you know,
- 14:35Speaker 1: Southern politician. But again, if you're not in politics, you
- 14:38Speaker 1: don't think, don't want to read that. These are extremely
- 14:42Speaker 1: outdated books. This is a recipe for disaster this podcast.
- 14:47Speaker 1: So remember when you were in high school, you were
- 14:50Speaker 1: they make you read these books and you didn't know
- 14:52Speaker 1: what the hell you were reading. They made you read
- 14:54Speaker 1: these books. Remember one of them was what the hell
- 14:56Speaker 1: was that book called Silas Marner? Remember that, I don't
- 15:02Speaker 1: know what the hell I was reading? And you had
- 15:04Speaker 1: to take a test on it, like so you had
- 15:06Speaker 1: to pretend to read it, and then you'd get the
- 15:09Speaker 1: cliff notes, and even in the cliff notes, you couldn't
- 15:11Speaker 1: figure out what the hell this book was about or
- 15:13Speaker 1: why you were reading it. And they talk about what
- 15:15Speaker 1: a great important literature, this what a novel. It's amost boring, stupid.
- 15:21Speaker 1: You notice you never saw a movie Silas Marner. It
- 15:23Speaker 1: may have been one, but you notice totally bumped because
- 15:26Speaker 1: there's nothing there. Hey, we'll take some calls. Next. Eight
- 15:29Speaker 1: hundred three two one zero seven ten is the number.
- 15:33Speaker 1: Eight hundred three two one zero seven ten
