- 0:00Speaker 1: iHeart Podcasts, bring you the ultimate Summer of Love Tree.
- 0:04Speaker 2: This is famously available.
- 0:07Speaker 1: Okay, guys, it's one of your famously available gals. Deanna
- 0:10Speaker 1: here and I am jumping in to take over this episode.
- 0:14Speaker 1: We are at jingle Ball and we're getting ready to
- 0:16Speaker 1: send my girl Mercedes out on a date with a
- 0:19Speaker 1: single eligible man.
- 0:21Speaker 3: And he's here. He is here.
- 0:23Speaker 1: We've been talking about him all day. But before I'm
- 0:26Speaker 1: allowed to introduce Mercedes to him, Ben has tasked me
- 0:29Speaker 1: with getting to know him a little bit better.
- 0:31Speaker 3: So Bryce, welcome to the podcast.
- 0:33Speaker 2: Thank you for having me. I'm come to be here.
- 0:36Speaker 1: I have had the pleasure of spending the afternoon with Mercedes.
- 0:38Speaker 1: So we were running through all of our what ifs,
- 0:40Speaker 1: and then we're in the car. We're talking about what
- 0:43Speaker 1: it might be like. She's a little nervous. Okay, are
- 0:46Speaker 1: you nervous?
- 0:47Speaker 2: I'm not nervous.
- 0:48Speaker 1: No.
- 0:48Speaker 2: I think it's just gonna be a fun experience and
- 0:50Speaker 2: meeting new people is always a good time. So I
- 0:53Speaker 2: don't know, I'm not nervous as though.
- 0:54Speaker 3: Okay, yeah, well that's confidence is attractive.
- 0:57Speaker 2: I think, So, I mean, do you have a type?
- 1:01Speaker 2: This is it's a it's kind of like a blanket statement.
- 1:04Speaker 2: But I just like beauty, right, It doesn't really matter
- 1:06Speaker 2: what they look like or you know what, race, ethnicity,
- 1:09Speaker 2: nothing is just like if they walk into the room
- 1:11Speaker 2: and all the eyes are on them, that's just kind
- 1:13Speaker 2: of who I gravitate towards. So just like beauty in
- 1:16Speaker 2: any form. And I know that's kind of subjective because
- 1:18Speaker 2: beauty's and the eye of the beholder, but yeah, just
- 1:21Speaker 2: just beauty.
- 1:22Speaker 1: Like great, So you typically date twenty somethings, blonde, fake
- 1:26Speaker 1: boobs in Los Angeles.
- 1:28Speaker 2: I don't. I don't think that's my type of beauty to.
- 1:30Speaker 1: Be, Okay, so give it to me, run it down,
- 1:32Speaker 1: give me something specific. Have you had girlfriends before?
- 1:35Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, I've always been kind of like a relationship guy.
- 1:37Speaker 2: I'm kind of a monogamous guy. The longest I've been
- 1:41Speaker 2: single is right now, which I forced myself to be
- 1:44Speaker 2: single for like last year and a half, almost two years,
- 1:46Speaker 2: just because I needed to.
- 1:47Speaker 1: You forced yourself, force myself beat them off with a stick.
- 1:51Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean I had to beat myself off with
- 1:53Speaker 2: a stick, no pun intended. But but I just I
- 1:57Speaker 2: get into these relationships where it starts really fast, upfront,
- 2:01Speaker 2: and then I'm like, oh, of course the love bombing
- 2:03Speaker 2: that we're both doing to each other is warranted because
- 2:06Speaker 2: we're both awesome. But then I get into the relationship
- 2:09Speaker 2: and then within like six months to a year, a
- 2:12Speaker 2: couple of years, you start seeing that maybe what was
- 2:14Speaker 2: portrayed or sold to me wasn't exactly who they were.
- 2:18Speaker 2: So I've kind of been in a cycle, and it's
- 2:21Speaker 2: been very clear, a very clear cycle. So I've taken
- 2:24Speaker 2: the year and a half almost two years and now
- 2:26Speaker 2: I'll just say two years of being single and just
- 2:29Speaker 2: focusing on myself growth therapy, Like, oh.
- 2:33Speaker 1: God, I was literally going to ask if you've seen
- 2:36Speaker 1: a psychiatrist, So I'm so glad to hear you tell
- 2:38Speaker 1: us that.
- 2:39Speaker 2: Yeah, definitely, that's been like that. I mean, my breakups
- 2:41Speaker 2: have been always kind of gnarly too, because one of
- 2:44Speaker 2: my exites reached out a couple of years after we
- 2:46Speaker 2: broke up and she told me why she kind of
- 2:49Speaker 2: had a crash out, and she was like, the relationship
- 2:52Speaker 2: was the best relationship I've ever been in, so when
- 2:55Speaker 2: you walked away from it, it was like the whole
- 2:57Speaker 2: world collapsing. She was trying to hold on right, and
- 3:01Speaker 2: so I think that that's been the trend, and so
- 3:04Speaker 2: I do give a lot to my relationships. I'm a
- 3:06Speaker 2: big giver in every type of way. Like if I
- 3:08Speaker 2: see potential, I want to know foster that and like
- 3:11Speaker 2: grow that and just make my partner the best person
- 3:13Speaker 2: they can be. But I kind of lose myself within that.
- 3:18Speaker 2: So this last two years being single has been me
- 3:21Speaker 2: focusing on me for kind of the first time ever,
- 3:23Speaker 2: and it's been the most transformational two years of my
- 3:25Speaker 2: entire life, Like night and day.
- 3:27Speaker 1: I love to hear that because I think that I'm
- 3:29Speaker 1: a little bit older, much wiser. I didn't hear you
- 3:34Speaker 1: say anything complimentary to me.
- 3:36Speaker 2: Bryce, Oh you're beautiful. Yeah, you're beautiful, You're something you
- 3:39Speaker 2: speak very well. But I'm not here dating you.
- 3:42Speaker 3: Older and wiser.
- 3:43Speaker 1: Yeah, I'm glad to hear you say that, because you
- 3:46Speaker 1: are still in such a place in your life. You're
- 3:48Speaker 1: still trying to figure out who you are. There is
- 3:50Speaker 1: a part of you that you're born with, that's in
- 3:52Speaker 1: your soul, that's who you are. But through relationships, through friendships,
- 3:57Speaker 1: through experience.
- 3:58Speaker 3: You will learn who you are and what it is
- 4:00Speaker 3: that you want.
- 4:01Speaker 1: But I'm also here to tell you that it changes
- 4:03Speaker 1: to your only thirty You said, yeah, that stuff changes
- 4:06Speaker 1: as well. It's kind of change in five years, ten years,
- 4:09Speaker 1: another four years after that, right, it evolves, And the
- 4:13Speaker 1: important part of relationships is that you can find someone
- 4:15Speaker 1: that can.
- 4:16Speaker 2: Evolve with you exactly.
- 4:17Speaker 1: Okay, So let's run through some basic things. I don't
- 4:20Speaker 1: know a lot about you. No one would give me
- 4:22Speaker 1: information because I'm friends with Mercedes. I'm her girl, and
- 4:25Speaker 1: so I think they knew that I was going to
- 4:27Speaker 1: be giving her a heads up, so they kept everything
- 4:29Speaker 1: from me.
- 4:29Speaker 2: Okay, I like that. Okay, you're thirty one, Yeah, I'm thirty.
- 4:32Speaker 1: Okay, and your last relationship was a year and a
- 4:36Speaker 1: half ago, you.
- 4:37Speaker 2: Said, like, it was June of almost two years ago,
- 4:40Speaker 2: So I guess we're past two years now a little bit.
- 4:43Speaker 3: Yeah, Okay. What's the biggest thing you learned about yourself
- 4:46Speaker 3: in the last two years?
- 4:47Speaker 2: Oh? Man, like so much. I think the biggest thing
- 4:50Speaker 2: is I carry a really magnifying light. Like any room
- 4:55Speaker 2: I walk into, people are gravitated to that. And I
- 4:59Speaker 2: like that because that I can give just like just
- 5:03Speaker 2: the best opportunity and like, like, I don't know, just
- 5:05Speaker 2: best vibes. I hate that word, but like just make
- 5:07Speaker 2: sure everyone feels great, like that's That's my biggest thing,
- 5:10Speaker 2: is like I know who I am in that way,
- 5:12Speaker 2: and I think I kind of had never realized that
- 5:14Speaker 2: in the years and prior, cause I there was a
- 5:19Speaker 2: moment in time where I was very unsure of myself.
- 5:21Speaker 2: And now I would say the biggest thing is I'm
- 5:25Speaker 2: fully confident in who I am. I love myself and
- 5:28Speaker 2: not a way that's like psychotic or coyotistical part of you. Yeah, no,
- 5:34Speaker 2: I yeah, I try not to have ego, which I'm
- 5:37Speaker 2: very mindful of that, but yeah, I just I think
- 5:39Speaker 2: I fell in love with who I am at a
- 5:41Speaker 2: very core level. My faith is a huge part of
- 5:45Speaker 2: that as well. So that's what I've really grown in
- 5:47Speaker 2: my faith in the last couple of years as well,
- 5:49Speaker 2: and getting back to just having a relationship, like a
- 5:52Speaker 2: personal relationship with God, which has been super helpful. But yeah,
- 5:57Speaker 2: I don't know, it's been awesome.
- 6:00Speaker 3: What's your longest relationship?
- 6:01Speaker 2: Three years?
- 6:02Speaker 3: Three years? Okay, all right.
- 6:04Speaker 1: So I do know that you're a mortgage broker and
- 6:06Speaker 1: a DJ. Yeah, so is that important to note in
- 6:10Speaker 1: my list of things?
- 6:11Speaker 3: I run down for my girl.
- 6:12Speaker 2: So I'm not a DJ yet. I would say I
- 6:15Speaker 2: bought like a DJ deck maybe like two months ago,
- 6:17Speaker 2: and I've been practicing.
- 6:18Speaker 3: So you are a connoisseur of music.
- 6:20Speaker 2: Yeah, I'm I'm a partner in a music label as well.
- 6:23Speaker 2: So I run a pretty successful music label. I do
- 6:27Speaker 2: the mortgage stuff on the side whenever my old clients
- 6:29Speaker 2: need something that still help them out. And yeah, so
- 6:33Speaker 2: music is kind of like the full time thing from
- 6:35Speaker 2: an executive standpoint at this point, which is great. And
- 6:38Speaker 2: then I, you know, have that passion part of me
- 6:40Speaker 2: where it's like I still want to make music as
- 6:42Speaker 2: much as I'm like helping these artists build their careers
- 6:44Speaker 2: and get them off the ground and or you know,
- 6:46Speaker 2: working with artists that are already big and trying to
- 6:49Speaker 2: shape their brain to something that leaves like a legacy.
- 6:52Speaker 3: Wait do you sing? Also?
- 6:54Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 6:55Speaker 3: Are you about to serenade our girl right now?
- 6:56Speaker 2: No?
- 6:57Speaker 3: She can be ours.
- 6:58Speaker 2: Yeah, as long.
- 6:59Speaker 3: As I can just creep around and hang out all
- 7:01Speaker 3: night long.
- 7:02Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean, you're more than welcome to hang out
- 7:04Speaker 2: with us, of course, But I'm not gonna be singing
- 7:06Speaker 2: tonight unless I'm singing to the music with the acts.
- 7:09Speaker 2: I think I'll do that if I know the songs.
- 7:11Speaker 3: But she sent to music, Okay, she likes music.
- 7:15Speaker 2: We can rock and roll with that. Then that's my
- 7:17Speaker 2: whole life.
- 7:18Speaker 3: What are you looking for now?
- 7:19Speaker 1: If you took some time off of dating, and you've
- 7:21Speaker 1: been single for the two years to work on yourself,
- 7:24Speaker 1: to learn more about yourself, your career is taking off.
- 7:28Speaker 1: What is it that you're looking for now?
- 7:29Speaker 2: A woman like a like a like a wool and go.
- 7:32Speaker 3: Without saying right, So you've got to give me some details.
- 7:36Speaker 2: Here, strong, powerful, knows what she wants, uh Like, has
- 7:40Speaker 2: a good head on her shoulders, is super motivated, has
- 7:42Speaker 2: her own life, and we can do our own lives together.
- 7:45Speaker 2: Like that's the biggest thing. Like, I know it's very cliche,
- 7:48Speaker 2: but power couple is really what I need. A lot
- 7:52Speaker 2: of my not a lot. All of my exes have
- 7:54Speaker 2: kind of been They've been always obviously beautiful and smart
- 7:58Speaker 2: and stunning, but they all lacked the one thing of
- 8:01Speaker 2: like they just didn't know who they were. And so
- 8:03Speaker 2: I would come in and like kind of direct them
- 8:07Speaker 2: in that way. And and that's a big reason why
- 8:10Speaker 2: I think I ended all the relationships was it was
- 8:12Speaker 2: just like this is in like a relationship if every
- 8:16Speaker 2: relationship felt like I was a therapist at the end
- 8:18Speaker 2: of it in some type of way. And so I'm
- 8:21Speaker 2: not doing that anymore. And I need someone who's passionate
- 8:25Speaker 2: about something, like just doing something to the highest extent
- 8:29Speaker 2: of her ability and is like chasing after something and
- 8:32Speaker 2: knows what she wants. And you know, I don't want
- 8:35Speaker 2: to be a therapist anymore.
- 8:36Speaker 1: Okay, let me put it a little bit more plainly
- 8:39Speaker 1: for you. Okay, do you want marriage and children? Yeah, Okay, totally,
- 8:42Speaker 1: that's in your that's in your goals.
- 8:44Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 8:45Speaker 3: And is that your five year plan or that's your
- 8:47Speaker 3: ten year plan?
- 8:48Speaker 1: Right? We're being really honest here because I do know
- 8:50Speaker 1: that you live in LA and then in LA.
- 8:53Speaker 2: You know. The good thing is I'm from Kansas, so
- 8:55Speaker 2: I got that Midwest like Midwest thing. My parents are
- 8:59Speaker 2: still together. They have the most beautiful relationship I've ever seen.
- 9:01Speaker 2: So I grew up with that, which is why I
- 9:04Speaker 2: don't stay in relationships too long if I know it's
- 9:07Speaker 2: not what my parents have, right, because I know it's real.
- 9:10Speaker 2: I know what my parents have is real, and so
- 9:14Speaker 2: I'm not settling anymore. So it could be could be
- 9:18Speaker 2: five years, could be ten years, It could be thre years,
- 9:19Speaker 2: it could be one year. I don't know. I mean, right,
- 9:21Speaker 2: you'll know, Yeah, if it's the right person, I feel
- 9:23Speaker 2: like I will know at that point in time.
- 9:26Speaker 3: Are you an only child?
- 9:27Speaker 2: No, I'm the oldest. I have a little brother. So
- 9:30Speaker 2: a little brother, a little brother.
- 9:31Speaker 3: Okay, two is better than one?
- 9:33Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah for sure. Uh huh.
- 9:35Speaker 1: So I'm wondering do their opinions really matter? My sibling
- 9:38Speaker 1: and my parents, all of them, your family, your core, Like.
- 9:41Speaker 2: My brother's opinion doesn't matter. I love him, not to
- 9:45Speaker 2: dish you, bro. Yeah, I'm not dissing him, but his
- 9:48Speaker 2: opinion is very different in all aspects of life. So
- 9:51Speaker 2: I love him, but we're just very different people. He's engaged,
- 9:55Speaker 2: so he's got it figured out. I guess.
- 9:56Speaker 3: Do you like his fiance?
- 9:58Speaker 2: She's so out of it? Okay, Austin, if you're listening,
- 10:01Speaker 2: I love you. She's so out of his league, like
- 10:03Speaker 2: in every way, and it's awesome to see how much
- 10:05Speaker 2: they love each other and like it's it's so That's
- 10:09Speaker 2: the other thing is like I know that relationships like
- 10:11Speaker 2: that exist because my brother has it and my parents
- 10:13Speaker 2: have it, so it's like, why would I settle for
- 10:15Speaker 2: anything less than what my family has. My parents' opinion
- 10:18Speaker 2: matters a lot. It's so funny because every time I
- 10:21Speaker 2: would bring a girlfriend back home, they'd always be so
- 10:24Speaker 2: nice to her, but then as soon as we left,
- 10:26Speaker 2: they'd call me like, what are you doing? And this
- 10:28Speaker 2: is clearly not your wife. I'm like, no, she is,
- 10:32Speaker 2: and they're like, no, she's not. And then I break
- 10:33Speaker 2: up with them a couple months later and I'm like,
- 10:35Speaker 2: you guys are right. So that's another thing too, I've
- 10:38Speaker 2: learned over the last few years is like, listen to
- 10:40Speaker 2: the people that love you the most, because they're going
- 10:42Speaker 2: to give you the best wisdom.
- 10:44Speaker 1: And it's a fine line though you love and respect
- 10:47Speaker 1: your mama or are you a mommy's boy?
- 10:50Speaker 2: No, I'm not a mommy's boy, But I will say
- 10:53Speaker 2: my mom is a son's mom, Like she's obsessed with
- 10:57Speaker 2: us in the best way. She's super allian, so she's
- 11:01Speaker 2: just so fun. I love my mom. I would not
- 11:04Speaker 2: say my mama's boy, just because she's a lot to handle. So, like,
- 11:09Speaker 2: you know, there's a little distance there and they live
- 11:11Speaker 2: across the country they lived. They live in Florida now,
- 11:14Speaker 2: so I don't see them other than, you know, a
- 11:16Speaker 2: couple times a year.
- 11:17Speaker 3: Those are called healthy boundaries.
- 11:18Speaker 2: Yeah, totally agree. But I love my mom, love my dad.
- 11:22Speaker 2: My dad is like work hard and my mom's play hard,
- 11:26Speaker 2: and I feel like I'm like a perfect combination of
- 11:28Speaker 2: both of them. So yeah, they're great.
- 11:31Speaker 1: Okay, have you figured out at this point what your
- 11:34Speaker 1: love language is?
- 11:35Speaker 3: Yeah, what yours is? And what is yours to give?
- 11:38Speaker 2: Yeah, so physical touch is my number one to receive?
- 11:42Speaker 1: Is that every man wants physical touch? Let's I mean,
- 11:45Speaker 1: let's just dive there for a second. Why is it
- 11:47Speaker 1: that every man says, Oh, my love language is physical touch.
- 11:50Speaker 3: We get it. You guys like to have sex.
- 11:52Speaker 2: Yeah, so that's what I was gonna say. It's not
- 11:54Speaker 2: even the sex part to me. I can just sit
- 11:56Speaker 2: there and if my girl's just playing with my hair
- 11:59Speaker 2: or like just doing the tickles on my arm. I
- 12:02Speaker 2: even told one of my girlfriends, I was like, this
- 12:05Speaker 2: is better than sex to me. I was like, just
- 12:07Speaker 2: this moment of like just being touched and there's not
- 12:09Speaker 2: even any sexualness going on, that's better than sex. Sometimes obviously,
- 12:14Speaker 2: but physical touch is great. I love words of affirmation
- 12:20Speaker 2: because for ever, since I was a kid, for years
- 12:23Speaker 2: I struggled with like confidence. I got bullied really bad
- 12:28Speaker 2: when I moved from Seattle to Kansas because I don't know,
- 12:32Speaker 2: just was a whole thing. And so like people like
- 12:35Speaker 2: my friends know that, Like my best friends always like
- 12:39Speaker 2: you know, it's not like they have to, but there's
- 12:40Speaker 2: we go out of our way to make sure we
- 12:42Speaker 2: all feel that we're appreciated. And when my woman does
- 12:46Speaker 2: that too, it goes like a long way.
- 12:48Speaker 1: And when you're in a relationship, how do you best
- 12:51Speaker 1: care for a woman that you're with.
- 12:53Speaker 2: Acts of service and words of affirmation, I'd say telling
- 12:56Speaker 2: them they're awesome all the time, how beautiful they are,
- 12:58Speaker 2: how great they are, and then doing whatever they need.
- 13:02Speaker 1: Whenever do the bulls go on the top rack of
- 13:06Speaker 1: the dishwasher.
- 13:07Speaker 3: Or the bottom?
- 13:08Speaker 2: Oh, that's a great question.
- 13:09Speaker 3: It's very important one I the bulls.
- 13:12Speaker 2: On the bottom, cups go on the top, and then
- 13:14Speaker 2: sometimes if there's not enough room on the bottom, I'll
- 13:17Speaker 2: put some balls on the top if there's not a
- 13:18Speaker 2: ton of cups there. It's about just making things work
- 13:20Speaker 2: where they fit fit.
- 13:22Speaker 3: You know you rinse before you put them in.
- 13:24Speaker 2: Yeah, of course you can just put gunky bulls in
- 13:26Speaker 2: the dishwa washer. Your dishwasher will get clogged and then
- 13:28Speaker 2: your dish washer will break.
- 13:29Speaker 1: You're in luck tonight. I think I'm gonna let you
- 13:31Speaker 1: meet Mercedes. That was the question that all bared pressure
- 13:35Speaker 1: on it, and you have passed that one, so fantastic.
- 13:38Speaker 1: One of the last most important questions that I have
- 13:41Speaker 1: for you is how tall are you?
- 13:42Speaker 2: I'm like six to one, but I'm wearing these boots
- 13:45Speaker 2: so that I'm like six four sixty five probably with these.
- 13:47Speaker 1: But it's the perfect Yeah, yeah, yeah for all of
- 13:51Speaker 1: us here tonight.
- 13:52Speaker 2: Fantastic perfect. Yeah. I didn't know how tall she was.
- 13:56Speaker 2: I was like, let me wear my boots that they
- 13:57Speaker 2: have like four inches on them.
- 14:00Speaker 1: Is tall and she is stunning. I don't think you
- 14:04Speaker 1: expect anything less. I'm really glad that they didn't let
- 14:08Speaker 1: you google her tonight either, because this will be It's
- 14:10Speaker 1: a shame our cameras aren't here tonight because I would
- 14:12Speaker 1: I might have to turn my phone on. And this
- 14:16Speaker 1: is like, I love love, I love relationships. I've also
- 14:21Speaker 1: had far too much therapy. But I now wonder I'm single.
- 14:23Speaker 1: But this is one of my favorite situations where two
- 14:26Speaker 1: people who have never met each other. You guys have
- 14:29Speaker 1: been and I don't know what you think this is.
- 14:31Speaker 1: It is a podcast. We are doing a job. But
- 14:34Speaker 1: she also very much wants to find someone that she
- 14:36Speaker 1: clicks with and has a relationship with. That is true
- 14:39Speaker 1: and it is important to her. But it's also a podcast.
- 14:41Speaker 1: So and just like you have been on reality TV,
- 14:44Speaker 1: we have as well.
- 14:45Speaker 3: So there is this.
- 14:48Speaker 1: There is this there where you come in and you think, oh,
- 14:50Speaker 1: someone's only coming here.
- 14:51Speaker 3: To either write.
- 14:56Speaker 1: Famakers, right or or to further their care a little bit.
- 15:00Speaker 1: That's always there. But she is a little nervous because
- 15:03Speaker 1: at the end of the day, what she truly truly
- 15:05Speaker 1: wants is to meet someone who she likes and someone
- 15:08Speaker 1: that she can date. So she's a little nervous, but
- 15:11Speaker 1: she's super stoked because this is her first date on
- 15:13Speaker 1: the podcast.
- 15:14Speaker 3: She hasn't been on one yet.
- 15:15Speaker 2: Wow, I feel it's what one then done?
- 15:17Speaker 1: Like if we want doers not sayers? Yeah, so what
- 15:23Speaker 1: if it is one and done?
- 15:24Speaker 2: I'm down.
- 15:25Speaker 1: You're gonna let us follow you for the rest of
- 15:27Speaker 1: the time that we produced this whole season.
- 15:29Speaker 2: That'd be kind of fun. Actually, fine, that would be fun.
- 15:31Speaker 2: Am I allowed to ask questions about her?
- 15:34Speaker 3: Yeah? I think that's all right?
- 15:35Speaker 2: Okay cool?
- 15:36Speaker 3: Do you know what reality show she was on?
- 15:38Speaker 2: I know nothing. I just think I know nothing. I
- 15:40Speaker 2: just I tolds. I didn't want to know anything. I
- 15:43Speaker 2: just want to come in here blind and just you know,
- 15:46Speaker 2: know nothing.
- 15:46Speaker 1: All right, let's get Judgie on you first. Which reality
- 15:50Speaker 1: show were you on?
- 15:52Speaker 2: Is?
- 15:52Speaker 1: This could say a lot about you? Bryce's fun about me?
- 15:56Speaker 2: I was on this show called f Boy Island and
- 16:00Speaker 2: I okay, so the about you know? Do you know
- 16:03Speaker 2: about this show?
- 16:04Speaker 3: Or I do know?
- 16:04Speaker 2: You?
- 16:05Speaker 1: A producer from my show who started that show along?
- 16:10Speaker 2: Yes? Oh, I love him as my boy.
- 16:12Speaker 3: I was on a show called The Bachelor and the Bachelorette.
- 16:15Speaker 2: Nice and amazing. Okay, great, well you know Bill as well? Yeah,
- 16:20Speaker 2: those are my boys. Anyways, So as you have.
- 16:23Speaker 1: Taxty Lawn right now, he's going to say wonderful things
- 16:25Speaker 1: about you.
- 16:26Speaker 2: Yeah, I hope he still follows me on Instagram. So
- 16:29Speaker 2: I think I think I'm good. And I see Bill
- 16:33Speaker 2: at the gym sometimes and is always love but work
- 16:35Speaker 2: out good to know. I definitely work out.
- 16:37Speaker 3: Do you like to eat?
- 16:38Speaker 2: I loved I'm Italian, so I love to eat. But okay,
- 16:42Speaker 2: So on the show for people that don't know you,
- 16:46Speaker 2: like half the guys come in as self proclaimed f
- 16:48Speaker 2: boys and half come in as self proclaimed nice guys.
- 16:53Speaker 2: What do you think I came in this?
- 16:55Speaker 3: I think that you came in as a nice guy.
- 16:58Speaker 2: You correct?
- 16:59Speaker 3: I think you are a nice guy.
- 17:00Speaker 2: Correct. I did come in as a nice guy. But
- 17:02Speaker 2: it was funny when I was talking to Alon before
- 17:04Speaker 2: the show, I was like, hey, man, all the guys
- 17:09Speaker 2: in the previous seasons that were nice guys are kind
- 17:11Speaker 2: of pushovers in a way, and I was like, I'm
- 17:13Speaker 2: not a so oh yeah, Like so you know, I
- 17:19Speaker 2: stand on my own two feet and I don't get
- 17:20Speaker 2: pushed around a lot of the nice guys did in
- 17:22Speaker 2: the other season. So I was like, look, man, like
- 17:24Speaker 2: I'm gonna come in. I'm a nice guy. The woman
- 17:26Speaker 2: I cheat women with utmost respect, like I you know,
- 17:29Speaker 2: I really I was raised right in that way. I
- 17:31Speaker 2: saw my dad treat my mom like a queen every
- 17:34Speaker 2: single day. So I was like, that's what's in me
- 17:36Speaker 2: to do? Just through osmosis, but I'm not a pushover,
- 17:40Speaker 2: so I was like, hey, let's let's make some shake
- 17:42Speaker 2: in the house with the guys, Like I'm down to
- 17:44Speaker 2: run plays, and like, they didn't really show too much
- 17:47Speaker 2: on my season just because he was on a different
- 17:48Speaker 2: network and they wanted it to be like really family friendly.
- 17:52Speaker 2: I guess this network that it was on. I wish
- 17:54Speaker 2: I wish our season would have been on HBO because
- 17:56Speaker 2: we had some moments and I was like puppeteering the
- 17:59Speaker 2: guys because me and the producers were kind of in
- 18:01Speaker 2: lockstep doing fun stuff behind the scenes. So I had
- 18:05Speaker 2: a good time. But then, yeah, just didn't work your time.
- 18:10Speaker 3: We each have our own path. It wasn't your time,
- 18:12Speaker 3: and maybe it's tonight.
- 18:13Speaker 1: Yeah, So I'll tell you what Mercedes is wearing these
- 18:16Speaker 1: really beautiful heels, so I'm not going to make her
- 18:17Speaker 1: stand outside for that much longer.
- 18:19Speaker 4: Why don't you.
- 18:20Speaker 1: I'll tell you three things about her, because what I
- 18:23Speaker 1: really would like is for you guys to meet each
- 18:26Speaker 1: other without knowing a whole lot about each other.
- 18:27Speaker 2: Love it.
- 18:28Speaker 3: Okay, you can ask me three things.
- 18:29Speaker 2: Three things? Okay, what is she passionate about?
- 18:33Speaker 3: Ask me something else.
- 18:34Speaker 1: That's a good question for her tonight as you get
- 18:37Speaker 1: to know her on your first date.
- 18:38Speaker 2: Yeah, true, okay, hmm.
- 18:41Speaker 3: You can ask me the surface level questions.
- 18:43Speaker 2: Okay, okay, you want to go.
- 18:44Speaker 3: Super you'll ask her the deep shit.
- 18:46Speaker 2: You know her sign? What's her sign? You don't know either,
- 18:51Speaker 2: that's the most service.
- 18:51Speaker 1: She has brown hair, okay, sign, she's tall and gorgeous, amazing.
- 18:55Speaker 1: She lives in Nashville, Tennessee. Is that going to be
- 18:58Speaker 1: an issue for you? Why she Nashville, that's where she lives. Well, why, well,
- 19:03Speaker 1: you can ask her that.
- 19:04Speaker 3: I told you. I'm giving you the service.
- 19:06Speaker 2: Okay, okay, got you.
- 19:07Speaker 3: She list it's interested in a change and a.
- 19:10Speaker 2: Move, understood. Okay. I think now that you kind of
- 19:13Speaker 2: put in my head that I think I just want
- 19:14Speaker 2: to get all these answers from her on this.
- 19:16Speaker 3: I think that would be really great.
- 19:17Speaker 2: Let's just do that.
- 19:18Speaker 1: What if you guys are vibing so hard? Are you
- 19:20Speaker 1: going to kiss her tonight?
- 19:21Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 19:22Speaker 3: Yeah, you're down for a first kiss. You didn't hesitate?
- 19:25Speaker 2: Why not?
- 19:25Speaker 3: Okay?
- 19:26Speaker 2: Yeah? If the if the moment is there and it
- 19:28Speaker 2: feels right, you got to.
- 19:30Speaker 1: Do it, like you have to commit. If you're going
- 19:31Speaker 1: to go in for it. You have to commit. It's
- 19:33Speaker 1: got to be great, Okay, Okay, easy.
- 19:36Speaker 3: Make sure I make sure I'm nearby so I can Okay.
- 19:39Speaker 2: Yeah, I'll be like, hey, not to.
- 19:41Speaker 5: Make it too weird, but.
- 19:43Speaker 2: We're going to do We're ready for you, okay.
- 19:47Speaker 1: Because I asked her the same question in the car
- 19:50Speaker 1: and she was like, I don't know.
- 19:51Speaker 3: Should I kiss on the first date? And I was like, girl,
- 19:53Speaker 3: I'm forty four, I have two kids.
- 19:54Speaker 1: You should absolutely if you're feeling it, Yeah, you should
- 19:56Speaker 1: kiss on the first date. If the vibe is there
- 19:58Speaker 1: and you guys like each other and the conversation is great,
- 20:01Speaker 1: I think you should. Why wouldn't you? But if you
- 20:03Speaker 1: don't get to see each other for again after.
- 20:04Speaker 2: This, well that's the thing. She goes back to Nashville
- 20:07Speaker 2: or is she here for a while's I guess I'll
- 20:09Speaker 2: ask her that. Yeah, yeah, that's going to be an
- 20:12Speaker 2: issue for you. I mean, I travel all the time.
- 20:15Speaker 2: I have artists in Nashville, so it's like I'm there,
- 20:18Speaker 2: so okay.
- 20:19Speaker 1: Yeah, if it does go well, will you ask.
- 20:22Speaker 3: For her phone number at.
- 20:23Speaker 2: The end, I'm gonna ask for her phone number, right,
- 20:25Speaker 2: after we leave this room.
- 20:26Speaker 3: Don't make it weird.
- 20:27Speaker 2: Bryce, why if Okay, if the conversation is we're in
- 20:31Speaker 2: the room, I'll be like, never mind. But if the
- 20:33Speaker 2: conversation is good in the room, I'll be like, look like,
- 20:35Speaker 2: let's just get the phone number.
- 20:36Speaker 3: Part over with, Let's get the let's get the stats.
- 20:39Speaker 2: Yeah, because what if we get lost at this massive
- 20:41Speaker 2: music festival. I'm like, I gotta call.
- 20:43Speaker 1: You're not going to get lost. We all stay together.
- 20:44Speaker 1: We're a technic grip. Okay, guys, we're going to keep
- 20:46Speaker 1: you close. Does Bryce get to ride with us?
- 20:49Speaker 6: Oh?
- 20:49Speaker 1: This is fair for a real treat. Yeah, you know
- 20:52Speaker 1: no one and Mercedes knows everyone.
- 20:55Speaker 2: Oh so I love that dynamic.
- 20:57Speaker 1: You were asking about the wingman. She's got about third
- 21:00Speaker 1: of them here tonight.
- 21:01Speaker 2: I will say this because I'm such a out there
- 21:06Speaker 2: type of person. My core people I hang out with
- 21:08Speaker 2: is a very small circle.
- 21:10Speaker 3: So it's normal. That's normal, that's good.
- 21:13Speaker 2: Yeah, Like I got like three men in my life
- 21:15Speaker 2: that are like my only people that I really like
- 21:17Speaker 2: hang with. But yeah, outside in about I'm nice everybody,
- 21:20Speaker 2: But like I'm I kind of have a photographic memory
- 21:23Speaker 2: for faces, so I might recognize people and be like
- 21:25Speaker 2: do we know each other?
- 21:26Speaker 6: Or what?
- 21:27Speaker 3: Have you ever watched The Bachelor?
- 21:29Speaker 2: It was my mom and I was guilty pleasure when
- 21:31Speaker 2: I was like a child.
- 21:32Speaker 1: So well, okay, so what was that five years ago?
- 21:35Speaker 1: Would you say you were thirty? Yeah?
- 21:36Speaker 2: No, like like when I was like twelve fifteen? Okay,
- 21:39Speaker 2: those days?
- 21:41Speaker 3: So I think you'll recognize Mercedes.
- 21:43Speaker 2: No, she's my age, right? Or no? How did she?
- 21:46Speaker 3: She's close to your age, she's a little bit younger
- 21:47Speaker 3: than you.
- 21:48Speaker 2: Then no, I wouldn't. I wouldn't know her.
- 21:50Speaker 1: Listen, I think this is the perfect time to bring
- 21:53Speaker 1: in Mercedes. I'm really excited that I'm here to witness this.
- 21:56Speaker 1: I'm like your third wheel tonight.
- 21:58Speaker 2: I can't wait. That's great.
- 21:59Speaker 3: All right, let's bring are in?
- 22:00Speaker 2: Okay, cool? Oh my, what's up? Can I get up?
- 22:15Speaker 2: Or do you have to sit here? Okay?
- 22:19Speaker 5: Thank you.
- 22:21Speaker 1: I didn't tell Bryce a whole lot about you, and
- 22:24Speaker 1: I know he knows you don't know a lot about
- 22:27Speaker 1: him either, because I thought some of those questions should
- 22:31Speaker 1: be taking place tonight on your first date. But let's
- 22:34Speaker 1: just start with, like, you guys are dressed the same tonight?
- 22:40Speaker 1: Anything about each other. You don't know each other and
- 22:42Speaker 1: you're both wearing silk.
- 22:43Speaker 5: Are you nervous?
- 22:44Speaker 2: No?
- 22:45Speaker 5: No, do you get nervous?
- 22:46Speaker 2: No no, Are you like a little but I'll make
- 22:50Speaker 2: sure that you're not nervous. Honestly, as soon as we
- 22:53Speaker 2: leave the room, you're not gonna have anything.
- 22:56Speaker 5: Yeah, no, I think tonight it will be really fun.
- 22:58Speaker 2: I'm excited.
- 22:58Speaker 5: Have you been a dingle ball before either?
- 23:01Speaker 2: Verything?
- 23:02Speaker 5: First date, first jingle bell? Yeah, it's gonna be fun matching.
- 23:05Speaker 2: I look at us like we call each other.
- 23:08Speaker 3: We did something good tonight. Good job, guys, you have
- 23:11Speaker 3: done something good.
- 23:13Speaker 2: Okay, lock in, I'm locked in.
- 23:16Speaker 1: I didn't get into the nitty gritty with him because
- 23:18Speaker 1: I wanted to save it for you to experience. But
- 23:22Speaker 1: I'm just wondering right now, Like I'd love to know
- 23:25Speaker 1: your initial thoughts of each other. Just like rattle off
- 23:27Speaker 1: quick quick shots your initial impressions.
- 23:30Speaker 2: I'll go first, Okay, well she's clearly stunny, totally totally
- 23:34Speaker 2: my time. Yeah, I like your laugh, Oh, thank you,
- 23:39Speaker 2: your smiles? Great, ten out of ten. We're good.
- 23:43Speaker 5: We're sadi, yeah, very attractive obviously. But first, but also
- 23:47Speaker 5: I can just tell your energy is great.
- 23:48Speaker 6: I feel like you can talk to anyone, which I
- 23:50Speaker 6: love because I don't know good conversations good obviously, And yeah,
- 23:54Speaker 6: I feel like we're gonna.
- 23:55Speaker 5: Have a really good time tonight.
- 23:56Speaker 2: We sure are.
- 23:56Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 23:57Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 23:57Speaker 3: Don't you want to know what reality show he was on?
- 23:59Speaker 2: Yeah? I do.
- 24:00Speaker 5: Actually they told me that earlier about show.
- 24:02Speaker 2: So there's this show right called Fay Island.
- 24:06Speaker 5: No, you were on that. Have a couple of friends
- 24:09Speaker 5: are on that? Well, not really my friends, but Casey,
- 24:13Speaker 5: you know.
- 24:13Speaker 2: Casey Casey he was previous season.
- 24:18Speaker 5: There's another guy too, but I forget his name.
- 24:20Speaker 3: He was on Katie's season.
- 24:22Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 24:23Speaker 5: Oh wait, I've never watched it, So you like dated Katie?
- 24:26Speaker 2: No, there there was another Okay, so I technically didn't
- 24:30Speaker 2: date any of them.
- 24:31Speaker 3: Run down the concept of the show, like you broke
- 24:33Speaker 3: it down for me.
- 24:34Speaker 2: Okay, So have you ever seen it?
- 24:36Speaker 5: No?
- 24:36Speaker 2: Okay, So there's like half the guys come in as
- 24:39Speaker 2: self proclaimed boys.
- 24:41Speaker 5: Was that you?
- 24:41Speaker 2: Well, let me get through the whole thing first, and
- 24:46Speaker 2: then the other half come in as self proclaimed nice guys.
- 24:49Speaker 3: Don't tell her which one you were, Okay, I made.
- 24:52Speaker 2: Your guess, so you can guess what do you think
- 24:54Speaker 2: I came in this, well.
- 24:55Speaker 5: I'm going to feel bad. I don't know.
- 24:59Speaker 2: You can't heart my feel I think you can say
- 25:00Speaker 2: that my feelings. You were I was the good one? Yeah,
- 25:05Speaker 2: I was, and you were she was on the best one? Okay?
- 25:10Speaker 2: Did do you know Alan and Billy were?
- 25:13Speaker 3: They were done over season.
- 25:15Speaker 2: So the creators or executive producers of The Bachelor of
- 25:18Speaker 2: years ago started this show. Okay, so we're kind of
- 25:22Speaker 2: in the same family. I'm like the dumb step child,
- 25:24Speaker 2: I guess. But it was super fun. And one of
- 25:30Speaker 2: the things I told her about it was when I
- 25:32Speaker 2: was talking to a lawn about it, I was like,
- 25:34Speaker 2: in the previous seasons, the nice guys tend to just
- 25:37Speaker 2: be kind of pushovers.
- 25:38Speaker 5: M h.
- 25:39Speaker 2: And I was like, I'm not that way. So I'll
- 25:42Speaker 2: come in and be a nice guy to the girls,
- 25:44Speaker 2: but I'm down to like Greek havoc in the house
- 25:46Speaker 2: of the guys. And so we had we had some fun.
- 25:49Speaker 2: But yeah, it was cool.
- 25:50Speaker 5: Okay, yeah, nice. Well that's what I wasn't expecting. Floy Island, I.
- 25:54Speaker 1: Wasn't expecting it either, but it was okay. I actually
- 25:56Speaker 1: pecked him for a nice guy, but I In my defense,
- 25:59Speaker 1: I got to talk to him. I got to talk
- 26:01Speaker 1: to him a little bit before, so I kind of
- 26:03Speaker 1: could hear his answers.
- 26:04Speaker 3: So I pegged him for a nice guy.
- 26:05Speaker 2: Yeah, and he said when I start talking about the
- 26:07Speaker 2: family and my parents and everything, she was like, this
- 26:09Speaker 2: guy's not that boy.
- 26:10Speaker 1: He's solid things about him, he's got he's in for
- 26:13Speaker 1: a relationship.
- 26:15Speaker 3: He's been single for a couple of years.
- 26:17Speaker 1: Purpose Yeah, yeah, do you have anything that you would
- 26:20Speaker 1: like to know about him before we go tonight?
- 26:25Speaker 5: I don't think so.
- 26:26Speaker 6: I think we should just like make it like as
- 26:28Speaker 6: like easy and natural as possible and.
- 26:31Speaker 2: Like organic is great.
- 26:32Speaker 5: Yes, I love it.
- 26:33Speaker 4: Okay, Yeah, I do.
- 26:34Speaker 2: Know one thing about you that I want to talk about.
- 26:36Speaker 2: What so you? She said, you live in Nashville. Yeah,
- 26:39Speaker 2: I live in l A. Yeah, What's what's going on?
- 26:41Speaker 2: Why are you in Nashville? Are you from there?
- 26:43Speaker 3: No?
- 26:44Speaker 6: So my grandparents lived there, so I moved there, and
- 26:47Speaker 6: I don't know.
- 26:48Speaker 5: I just I'm from Iowa, like a grew up on
- 26:50Speaker 5: a farm.
- 26:50Speaker 2: I'm from Kansas.
- 26:51Speaker 5: And it's perfect about.
- 26:59Speaker 6: So Nashville just like gave me the like Midwest kind
- 27:02Speaker 6: of vibe. Everyone's super nice and I just fell in love.
- 27:05Speaker 6: I've been there six years.
- 27:07Speaker 2: Yeah, that's typically what I hear from my people in
- 27:09Speaker 2: Nashville is like five to six years, or like, let's
- 27:12Speaker 2: do something else, okay.
- 27:13Speaker 5: Because I know something about you. You were like in
- 27:14Speaker 5: music too, right, So do you go to Nashville a lot?
- 27:17Speaker 2: Yeah, So I'm a I'm a partner in the music label.
- 27:21Speaker 2: So music execs a.
- 27:23Speaker 3: Little different, a little different from an aspiring DJ.
- 27:26Speaker 6: Right.
- 27:26Speaker 2: Yeah, it was so funny. She came in. She was like,
- 27:28Speaker 2: you're a DJ, and like, no, like Saturday, It's something
- 27:35Speaker 2: I bought my first like DJ deck like two months ago,
- 27:38Speaker 2: just like how funse I love house music and I
- 27:41Speaker 2: love like my happy place is Meek and those So
- 27:45Speaker 2: if that tells you anything about me, but yeah, but
- 27:48Speaker 2: I just love music. So I was like, let me
- 27:49Speaker 2: just dive into that world. And it's been fun. But no,
- 27:52Speaker 2: I'm a music executive. I have artists and the label's
- 27:56Speaker 2: doing great, so I'm very proud of it. And yes,
- 28:00Speaker 2: we got people out in Nashville. My partner in the
- 28:02Speaker 2: company is actually one of the biggest songwriters producers from Nashville.
- 28:06Speaker 2: His name is Andrew Merrick.
- 28:07Speaker 5: Oh yeah, I actually have heard of them.
- 28:09Speaker 2: I think, yeah, maybe he's big time. But yeah, he
- 28:12Speaker 2: stepped away from that stuff and now we created the
- 28:14Speaker 2: company together and.
- 28:16Speaker 5: That's so cool.
- 28:17Speaker 2: It's been very fun.
- 28:18Speaker 5: I love that.
- 28:18Speaker 2: Yeah, that's awesome. Do you like music?
- 28:21Speaker 5: I love music?
- 28:22Speaker 2: Okay, are you like a country music girl or what?
- 28:24Speaker 2: I love?
- 28:24Speaker 5: Like R and B?
- 28:26Speaker 6: Yeah?
- 28:26Speaker 2: I love country too.
- 28:28Speaker 5: I grew up on nineteenth country.
- 28:31Speaker 3: That did not our boys, Tim Kenny, you know the
- 28:34Speaker 3: good guys. Are you a country I'm from Georgia Brown,
- 28:36Speaker 3: Oh of.
- 28:37Speaker 2: Course, Okay, there you go.
- 28:39Speaker 5: Yeah, yeah, so I definitely love country.
- 28:40Speaker 6: But like my Spotify rap was like, all like, Sissa,
- 28:44Speaker 6: we're on the same page.
- 28:45Speaker 2: I was literally just gonna be like, hey, so Spotify
- 28:47Speaker 2: rap just dropped like what was your tough Olivia Dean?
- 28:51Speaker 2: Everybody is obsessed with that.
- 28:53Speaker 6: No, I actually am, Like I told my best friend
- 28:55Speaker 6: is a Swiftie and I'm not a Swiftie but she is.
- 28:58Speaker 6: And I was like, no, I feel like a Dean
- 29:00Speaker 6: is my Taylor Swift Like I'm genuinely obsessed with her
- 29:03Speaker 6: and her music just like speaks to me, so I
- 29:05Speaker 6: love her.
- 29:06Speaker 5: And then it was like Drake's is a who else
- 29:09Speaker 5: was it?
- 29:09Speaker 6: I don't even remember. The other ones don't matter, I
- 29:12Speaker 6: guess I don't remember the other two.
- 29:13Speaker 3: But do you typically date older guys?
- 29:17Speaker 2: Yeah? Yeah, am I technically older?
- 29:20Speaker 3: Technically or older?
- 29:22Speaker 1: But mentally you're right on her level?
- 29:26Speaker 2: Okay? Fun? Awesome? I try to keep that childlike spirit.
- 29:31Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 29:31Speaker 6: No, I feel like everyone I've dated the last like
- 29:35Speaker 6: four years have been like probably at least two years
- 29:38Speaker 6: older than me.
- 29:38Speaker 2: So, and how old are you? Okay, great?
- 29:41Speaker 5: Yeah, I'll be twenty eight in March, so cool.
- 29:43Speaker 4: Yeah, what's your son?
- 29:57Speaker 5: Guess you need to take a guess? Are you like
- 29:58Speaker 5: big in signs?
- 29:59Speaker 2: So there's like certain European countries that still teach astrology
- 30:03Speaker 2: like a science. And so my mom is Italian and
- 30:06Speaker 2: she grew up on all that. So I learned all
- 30:09Speaker 2: of it like from like a real perspective of from
- 30:10Speaker 2: like the l a thing. There's there's a part of
- 30:14Speaker 2: me that wants to say Leo, but I don't think
- 30:15Speaker 2: that's right. No, Aries, really, no, I would not expect that.
- 30:22Speaker 2: I guess I see it in the real world.
- 30:23Speaker 6: Everyone always says that they're like, you don't act like
- 30:26Speaker 6: an Aries.
- 30:26Speaker 5: I don't know. I don't know what that means. I'm
- 30:28Speaker 5: not really into the sign thing, but.
- 30:32Speaker 2: Yeah, that's why you present the people is Sagittarius, so
- 30:36Speaker 2: people are like this dude's and f boy for sure.
- 30:40Speaker 5: Aries are a match.
- 30:41Speaker 2: It's a lot of fire.
- 30:44Speaker 5: And always says that is my match.
- 30:49Speaker 2: My moon is Aries.
- 30:52Speaker 5: There we go. I have to look at my coast
- 30:53Speaker 5: start to let you know my Yeah.
- 30:59Speaker 2: Yeah, I'll get your no after this and we can
- 31:01Speaker 2: do the thing.
- 31:03Speaker 1: Have you ever heard of the podcast Bryce, the one
- 31:05Speaker 1: that we're on. No, I haven't heard of anything famously available.
- 31:08Speaker 1: I've heard of it now, and.
- 31:10Speaker 3: You've never listened to an episode you haven't heard.
- 31:12Speaker 2: I'm going in here raw dogging it like I don't know.
- 31:15Speaker 5: I love that's the best way to do it.
- 31:17Speaker 2: Yeah, I didn't want to know anything. Yeah, no, I
- 31:20Speaker 2: haven't listened that.
- 31:22Speaker 5: I asked so many.
- 31:23Speaker 6: Times for your Instagram, like can I just see like
- 31:25Speaker 6: what Like Nope, nope, No, I like that.
- 31:27Speaker 2: I know.
- 31:27Speaker 6: And it's kind of nice though, because like I feel
- 31:29Speaker 6: like dating now, like you basically figure out who the
- 31:31Speaker 6: person is before you even meet them, so you have
- 31:33Speaker 6: like these you know.
- 31:37Speaker 2: So yeah, I feel like my Instagram does a kind
- 31:40Speaker 2: of you seen my Instagram, right or no?
- 31:41Speaker 1: I didn't know they I told you they wouldn't tell
- 31:44Speaker 1: me anything. I would tell her things.
- 31:46Speaker 2: That's right.
- 31:47Speaker 3: I came in here raw dogging it too.
- 31:52Speaker 2: Yeah, I feel like my Instagram is a good representation
- 31:55Speaker 2: of me, so I would. I would hope. I try
- 31:59Speaker 2: not to be a douchebag on there, but sometimes I am.
- 32:03Speaker 3: But do either of you have any expectations for tonight?
- 32:07Speaker 2: Have fun?
- 32:08Speaker 5: Yeah? That's what I said earlier too. I was like,
- 32:11Speaker 5: just have fun, gets known, see where the night takes us.
- 32:14Speaker 3: I already asked him if he was going to try
- 32:15Speaker 3: to kiss you?
- 32:16Speaker 5: What did you say?
- 32:17Speaker 2: What do you think? I said?
- 32:18Speaker 5: And then he said, no, what if he tries to
- 32:20Speaker 5: kiss you? Mercedes, I don't know, I said, I'm doing
- 32:26Speaker 5: all the wrong things.
- 32:27Speaker 2: She's but he doesn't want to kissing.
- 32:32Speaker 3: What if he tries to kiss you?
- 32:34Speaker 5: I mean, even have to see how the vibe is,
- 32:36Speaker 5: but I'd be down. I don't know. Right now, I
- 32:38Speaker 5: feel like we're like vibing. We're good.
- 32:39Speaker 2: I think you're vibing. Yeah.
- 32:41Speaker 3: I think the chemistry is palpable. Yeah, I think I
- 32:44Speaker 3: think it's I think it's good. She also has pretty
- 32:47Speaker 3: teeth and a mouth.
- 32:48Speaker 2: I'm not kissing her teeth.
- 32:51Speaker 3: Don't you think teeth are very important?
- 32:53Speaker 2: Very important?
- 32:55Speaker 1: I mean if she had busted teeth, you might not
- 32:58Speaker 1: want to hang out with her.
- 32:59Speaker 2: She had teeth on things, you would be here.
- 33:02Speaker 3: You can smile with your mouth closed.
- 33:04Speaker 2: Yeah, people smile with their mouth close. I don't know.
- 33:08Speaker 1: I have a big as mouth, but she has a
- 33:12Speaker 1: pretty mouth.
- 33:14Speaker 2: Yeah. I almost something crazy. I was like, whoa, yeah, one
- 33:23Speaker 2: of my favorite things. Did you have braces or no? No,
- 33:26Speaker 2: you're just perfect?
- 33:27Speaker 5: Yeah?
- 33:29Speaker 3: No, no, we might have to lead with it. She said,
- 33:31Speaker 3: you're just perfect.
- 33:33Speaker 1: Love.
- 33:33Speaker 2: Yeah, that's my favorite compliment is like people like you
- 33:36Speaker 2: have great teeth, and like how long did you have braces?
- 33:38Speaker 5: Like you have braces? Either look at us.
- 33:41Speaker 1: I would have to say, it's something that I look
- 33:43Speaker 1: at right off the bat. I look at someone's mouth
- 33:46Speaker 1: and their teeth. It's very important to It's hard to
- 33:49Speaker 1: get past teeth. You can get past a lot of things.
- 33:51Speaker 1: Teeth and when their eyeballs are too close together, because
- 33:53Speaker 1: now I know they're psychotic, so I was too close together.
- 33:59Speaker 1: Third time talking about that, You're okay.
- 34:02Speaker 2: Exactly man, they're perfectly.
- 34:03Speaker 1: Faced, and both of you they're so symmetrical. Your faces
- 34:07Speaker 1: are so beautiful. I can see the future now, your
- 34:10Speaker 1: children are going to beautiful.
- 34:12Speaker 5: I'm going to love you.
- 34:13Speaker 2: My mom will love you. Actually, yeah, we talked about
- 34:17Speaker 2: this a little bit. She was like, are you a
- 34:18Speaker 2: mama's boy. I'm like, no, not a MoMA's boy. But
- 34:21Speaker 2: my mom is like a son's mom, Like she loves
- 34:24Speaker 2: she loves me and my brother so much. Yeah, she's great,
- 34:28Speaker 2: super Italian, like Psycho in the best way. Like I
- 34:32Speaker 2: told her, I was like, my dad is work hard
- 34:34Speaker 2: in my mom's play hard. I feel like I'm like
- 34:35Speaker 2: the perfect combination of both.
- 34:37Speaker 5: So I love that.
- 34:39Speaker 2: No, they moved from Kansas to Florida like three years ago.
- 34:42Speaker 2: They wanted to go retire where it was not Kansas.
- 34:45Speaker 5: I feel that your parents.
- 34:47Speaker 2: And I still really on the farm. So you're like
- 34:51Speaker 2: Boots writing cow writing cows and almost. I think.
- 35:03Speaker 3: She could also answer that, Yeah, well.
- 35:05Speaker 2: She's in Nashville, so I already know they answer. But
- 35:09Speaker 2: so when you go back for the holidays, you go there. Yeah, okay.
- 35:13Speaker 6: So I have two younger brothers. I have a twelve
- 35:14Speaker 6: year old brother. No, actually just turned thirteen. And then
- 35:17Speaker 6: a four year old brother.
- 35:18Speaker 2: Oh nice, Yeah, and you're the oldest.
- 35:20Speaker 5: Yeah, I love it. You know, I'm twenty seven, twenty seven,
- 35:24Speaker 5: thirteen and four.
- 35:25Speaker 2: Your parents are still together.
- 35:26Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 35:26Speaker 2: Wow, it's lovely. That's so rare.
- 35:28Speaker 5: Yeah, I know right, Yeah, it's awesome.
- 35:31Speaker 6: Though.
- 35:31Speaker 1: I have seen the evolution of this relationship in the
- 35:33Speaker 1: last fifteen minutes.
- 35:35Speaker 3: You know, because when they.
- 35:36Speaker 1: First came in, they weren't quite looking at each other
- 35:39Speaker 1: but looking at each other. They weren't quite making eye contacts,
- 35:43Speaker 1: but like checking each other out. And now you're perfectly
- 35:48Speaker 1: holding eye contacts with each other.
- 35:51Speaker 2: I like this.
- 35:53Speaker 3: I like this.
- 35:53Speaker 1: I don't know if I am creepy or if I
- 35:55Speaker 1: should be really honored that the two of you are
- 35:57Speaker 1: allowing me to come along tonight.
- 35:59Speaker 2: Yeah. No, be as creepy as you want.
- 36:01Speaker 1: I'm having a great time too, and we're going to
- 36:04Speaker 1: make sure that everyone has a great time.
- 36:06Speaker 3: Yes, Okay, I'm so excited for this. Yeah, thanks for things,
- 36:10Speaker 3: for letting me be a third wheel. Like this is

- 36:18Speaker 2: are you guys like homies or.
- 36:20Speaker 1: What's I told poor Bryce that you have about thirty
- 36:23Speaker 1: wing women tonight.
- 36:25Speaker 2: Yes, yeah, fantastic.
- 36:26Speaker 5: She does have a lot of people with me to night.
- 36:29Speaker 2: Yeah okay, but.
- 36:30Speaker 5: You said you're very personable, you'll you'll make them good.
- 36:33Speaker 2: No, for sure, I'm not nervous.
- 36:35Speaker 1: So you've met two of them, that means twenty eight
- 36:37Speaker 1: more to impress.
- 36:38Speaker 5: Wait what else did you meet?
- 36:40Speaker 2: You one too? Oh?
- 36:43Speaker 5: Even wing women?
- 36:44Speaker 2: Okay yeah, no, just you too so far. I mean
- 36:47Speaker 2: you're kind of your only woman tonight, too, true, That
- 36:49Speaker 2: is true. Yeah, no, I'm excited. There's twenty eight other
- 36:52Speaker 2: women or there's guys as well.
- 36:54Speaker 3: I tend to exaggerate bright. I either go real big
- 36:57Speaker 3: or real small.
- 36:58Speaker 2: So you just yeah, I can't imagine me with thirty
- 37:02Speaker 2: women movie insane.
- 37:05Speaker 3: It's not as insane as you think. Me with thirty
- 37:07Speaker 3: men is a lot of fun.
- 37:08Speaker 1: Yeah, oh my god, that's terrible.
- 37:12Speaker 3: That's not what I meant.

- 37:34Speaker 2: my people.
- 37:35Speaker 3: I think my guess you're better. You have to do
- 37:37Speaker 3: another episode. It sounds like we do.
- 37:39Speaker 1: I did have one question before we head out to
- 37:42Speaker 1: jingle Ball. I want to know, Mercedes, how many more
- 37:44Speaker 1: days you're in Los Angeles? What if you guys this
- 37:48Speaker 1: you smash it out of the park. You can't wait
- 37:50Speaker 1: to see each other again? Stop it, boy, I'm being clean.
- 37:55Speaker 3: I'm a mom.
- 37:56Speaker 1: What if tonight could not go better and you guys
- 37:59Speaker 1: genuinely like each other?
- 38:00Speaker 3: Are you in Los Angeles still tomorrow?
- 38:03Speaker 2: No?

- 38:15Speaker 2: in l A?
- 38:17Speaker 5: Probably like once a month?
- 38:20Speaker 2: Maybe okay, I'll work with that. I'm in Nashville like
- 38:22Speaker 2: a couple of times a month.
- 38:24Speaker 5: That's a couple of times a month. That's great to see.
- 38:27Speaker 5: I feel like distance is not hard if you like

- 39:03Speaker 1: All right, you guys, this has gone smashingly. I think
- 39:07Speaker 1: the two of you are hitting it off. I see
- 39:09Speaker 1: the sparks.
- 39:09Speaker 3: They're coming.
- 39:10Speaker 1: I am going to go and let them know that
- 39:12Speaker 1: this is really going well and we should probably go
- 39:16Speaker 1: to dingle ball.
- 39:17Speaker 5: Let's go
