- 0:03Welcome to Urantia Radio where cosmic reality and spiritual
- 0:08truth come together. Sit back and enjoy the ride with
- 0:12long time student and fellow truth seeker Jim Watkins as we
- 0:16explore the 5th epical revelation of Expanded Truth,
- 0:20The Urantia Book. Now there is a Science Symposium
- 0:28IV in a few months and I would ask you to reach out to the
- 0:33Urantia Fellowship For more information and and also the
- 0:36Urantia Foundation. I want to get to that because
- 0:40there was a great article written by a Urantia book reader
- 0:43that you'll find in the Mini Messenger from a couple of weeks
- 0:46ago. It was such a terrific article
- 0:49because it really explained how the science of astronomy and and
- 0:54primarily because of the the what we've learned from the
- 0:57James Webb telescope. Astronomy is kind of slowly
- 1:00catching up to the Urantia book portrayal of what the living
- 1:04universe is is really all about South, for example.
- 1:09Wonderful article. I would encourage you to read
- 1:11it. David Neufer and in it he
- 1:15discloses that science has a has a problem right now.
- 1:18Science has a problem because the, the gravitational theory,
- 1:22the theory of the general theory of relativity works to a certain
- 1:26extent and has continued to be the foundation of what we think
- 1:32about light and energy and quantum physics and dark energy
- 1:37and black holes and all of these things that go into the theory
- 1:40of general relativity, except for one thing.
- 1:44It's not consistent with the way that the universe behaves.
- 1:48And, and, and one of the reasons is, is because the in general
- 1:52relativity, they don't believe. They do believe in a theoretical
- 1:56Big Bang, a moment when there was nothing and then there was
- 2:00something. But what they don't believe is
- 2:03that there's a center core. And in Neufer's article, he
- 2:07talks about how back in the day, they used to think that the
- 2:11Earth was the center of the universe, and then it shifted to
- 2:15the sun. And then we began to realize
- 2:18that the planets all spun around the sun.
- 2:21But what they haven't made that next step that the Urantia book
- 2:25offers is that our sun, along with other Suns, all spin around
- 2:30gigantic dark centers of gravity, which are themselves
- 2:36the local cluster hubs of each universe.
- 2:39So for example, we swing around Sagittarius A because
- 2:44Sagittarius A is technically the center of our local cluster.
- 2:50Assume we are responsive gravitationally to Sagittarius
- 2:55A, which from the Urantia Book tells us it's also where A
- 3:00Salvington is, Salvington being the headquarters world.
- 3:04Michael's creation, the Urantia Book version of the universe is,
- 3:08is starting to answer some of the questions and the
- 3:11inconsistencies that they're discovering.
- 3:14How do we take what we're learning now about the size and
- 3:19scope of the of the matter in the universe?
- 3:22And how do we reconcile that with with Einstein's general
- 3:25theory of relativity, which states, among other things, that
- 3:29the universe is only 13.8 billion years old and that
- 3:33everything came from a an essential point?
- 3:36Where is that point? And if that point is indeed
- 3:40real, then how come they assume that the universe has the same
- 3:44amount of density in every direction?
- 3:48They can't both be right? And the Urantia book of course
- 3:52talks about Havona and the Isle of Paradise and that that there
- 3:57are 7 clusters of universes that circle around just like a solar
- 4:03system around this central force.
- 4:06But it's so huge, it's so expansive, that we don't even
- 4:11see that we're in a concentric circle spinning around the, the,
- 4:17the astronomers are confused, They don't know what to do.
- 4:21But what they're finding is, according to David and his
- 4:23wonderful article, Astronomies, Anomalies and Revealed
- 4:27Cosmology, If you wanted I have it, I can send you the link.
- 4:32They did a presentation on May 9th and I've got the link so
- 4:36that you can see what David Neufer has done.
- 4:41This is going to go down in history as revolutionary and he,
- 4:47by the way, you can find out more about him at UB data.org.
- 4:52His writing is great and boy, what a smart guy.
- 4:56Got the website up rolling. We got the Urantia Radio stream
- 5:00going. We're on the podcast Spectrum.
- 5:03I'm thinking of doing video. I, I just, I just, I'm a radio
- 5:08guy. I'm not a video guy.
- 5:11And there's a reason for that anyway.
- 5:14All right. But I love the podcast.
- 5:16We're in our 8th year. We're almost at 200,000 people
- 5:20who've heard it. And I think that's fantastic
- 5:23because I'm sure a lot of these folks never heard of the Urantia
- 5:26Book before. And we're here to sort of, I'll
- 5:30tell you some thoughts about the and we're doing a little bit of
- 5:34free form today because I haven't talked to you a lot
- 5:37since I've been back from California.
- 5:43But I did attend the wonderful thing that Diane Labrecque did.
- 5:48She did this wonderful tribute, the Jubilee of Jubilee.
- 5:52She does it every once in a while.
- 5:54And I think this is my second one.
- 5:56And we saw Gabriel, Gabriel and his wife showing us Galilee.
- 6:02Oh man, what a great thing that he did.
- 6:04He went out, he took his iPhone, he and his wife and they went to
- 6:09the Cliff in, in, in one of the papers, there's an incident
- 6:13where Jesus almost gets thrown off a Cliff by people are angry
- 6:18at him for violating, you know, Hebrew law and proclaiming that
- 6:26he represents God. And, and they literally got into
- 6:28a tussle where they almost push Jesus over the Cliff of this
- 6:32mountain. I think it's Gilboa is that, is
- 6:34that the one? Anyway, but they were at that
- 6:39mountain and, and it was sunset. So we were looking at the sun
- 6:43setting. And then he looked to the east,
- 6:45to the Sea of Galilee. Although you can't see it, you
- 6:48could just barely see Mount Hermon, which in the Urantia
- 6:53book is such an important place and, and in the Bible too.
- 6:59And it was there was a great presentations from so many
- 7:03different people. And, and I thought to myself,
- 7:05this is the face. These are the people that are
- 7:09the result of really the first full generation of the Urantia
- 7:15book being published. Because if you go back to 1955,
- 7:19what are we 70 years in right? 71 years and the people that I
- 7:25saw and the testimony and the prayer and the spiritual flavor,
- 7:32to me it was like looking at the future.
- 7:35And this thought had come across my mind.
- 7:37And if you had been on the the Jubilee of Jubilee celebration
- 7:41this past weekend, maybe you felt the same way.
- 7:45But I thought this is the future of Christianity because, and if
- 7:51you listen to the way that people talked about Christ and
- 7:54the way that they talked about the love of their father, it
- 7:57really is it, it, it's the people who've not experienced
- 8:02the Urantia book or people who don't know about the Urantia
- 8:05book. They, they would look at that if
- 8:09they walked into that Jubilee of Jubilees and they would think
- 8:13that they were at a Christian revival because a lot of the
- 8:17same sentiments, the way that we view Christ and his contribution
- 8:23to us, his contribution indeed to everyone, the celebration,
- 8:29the prayer, it, it sounded more like almost like a Christian
- 8:33revival without all of the, the ornaments.
- 8:36You know what I mean by ornaments.
- 8:38It's like a, like the Christmas tree is a great symbol of the
- 8:41Christian religion because it actually emerged out of a Pagan
- 8:46religion in, in, as it converted folks in Germany and that area
- 8:53of Europe. And so the, the, how the, the,
- 8:59the Christmas tree has been, it carries so many different
- 9:03strains of Pagan and Christian early Christian religion.
- 9:09It's sort of absorbed everybody's, you know what I'm
- 9:12saying? So the Christmas tree represents
- 9:14sort of the adding on of other things in order to win people
- 9:19over to the faith of of Jesus. And so the Urantia book is like
- 9:25an advanced Christian group because they take into
- 9:29consideration the fact that we are part of a system of worlds.
- 9:34Outpost six O 6 is what I call it.
- 9:37And what I'm going to read to you gives that substantiation
- 9:41because we're going to jump into the post bestowal Son of man
- 9:45age, which is what we're in and we're going to read from paper
- 9:4952 Section 5, where it talks about the planetary mortal epics
- 9:56and, and, and so just to kind of close out.
- 9:59Thank you, Diane, thank you for all the wonderful people.
- 10:04I I stayed through practically the whole thing.
- 10:06Then my son came home, got had to go, but it was just truly a
- 10:11wonderful event. And I think that we as members
- 10:14in the Urantia book, we've done a great job.
- 10:18I think the revelators, I think the midwares, I think that
- 10:22they're, they're probably looking at what they're seeing
- 10:25in the Urantia community and saying, I think, I think we're
- 10:28on the right track anyway. So paper 52 delves into and it's
- 10:39in the Section 2 of the book. So this Section 2 of the Urantia
- 10:44book is all about what happens in the local universe.
- 10:48And we are part of a local universe and that local universe
- 10:54is under the sovereign dominion of Christ, Michael, Jesus of
- 10:58Nazareth at the conclusion. And this is what we've been
- 11:01talking about as far as day of Ascension and the 7th bestowal.
- 11:06So in our local universe, which is under the jurisdiction of the
- 11:12Creator's Son and His name on high is known as Michael or
- 11:17McHale. And he's often sometimes
- 11:20confused in Christian literature as being the Archangel Michael.
- 11:25And the reason for that is because he is in authority, the
- 11:31father of the archangels. So he is the leader.
- 11:34And during the war in Heaven that occurred 200,250 thousand
- 11:40years ago when Lucifer rebelled against the authority of
- 11:45Michael's domain, essentially it was Michael who was on earth at
- 11:51Mount Hermon who settled the Lucifer rebellion.
- 11:54And that is is is captured in, in the, in the, in the Bible,
- 12:01but it's often misunderstood is happening at the end of an age
- 12:05because John the revelator was given to this vision.
- 12:09And and they assume that that that is about to happen or it's
- 12:15going to happen at some point. And it's where we get all of our
- 12:18literature and our cultural identity in the Christian
- 12:22religion of there being an end days.
- 12:25Many people today believe that we are heading towards and they
- 12:29talk about it often, whether it's, you know, Glenn Becker,
- 12:33that we are at the we are heading towards the end of an
- 12:36age that the Antichrist is going to reveal himself.
- 12:42And trust me, with all the symbolisms in, in, in the book
- 12:46of Revelations, it's not hard to come to that conclusion.
- 12:50And they use the quotes in the Book of Revelation where, or
- 12:55even in the Gospels where Jesus says, you know, I will come
- 12:59again. And the apostles assumed that he
- 13:04meant right away that, well, he's going to be back because
- 13:09they were they, you know, he, they loved him.
- 13:12They they didn't want him to leave and they wanted him to
- 13:16come back and be a part of and to establish the Kingdom of
- 13:21heaven on earth. And so it's easy to see, as the
- 13:25Oranja book points out, it's easy to see that, that there was
- 13:30a longing for the return, the second coming.
- 13:34The Urantia book says, yeah, there's going to be a second
- 13:36coming. Christ himself said, I will
- 13:39return. We've talked about how at the
- 13:41end of an age, he says I will return.
- 13:44He is the planetary Prince of our world at this point.
- 13:47He is the sovereign son of the universe, having completed the
- 13:53father's mandate of the seven bestowals.
- 13:57So there's a lot of moving parts here, but there's also a sort of
- 14:02a standard that's explained in in Section 2 of the Urantia
- 14:07book. What normally happens in a in an
- 14:11area like ours, what normally would occur ours was a
- 14:15spectacular event #1 because it was actually the Creator Son who
- 14:20chose to bestow on our world. Usually avonal or creator sons
- 14:28or magisterial sons, These are sons of a high order, and they
- 14:31represent the Father and the Son on Paradise.
- 14:36And so it is. It is customary for planets to
- 14:41enjoy the company of these divine sons from time to time,
- 14:48and in our in our case, we had an unusual circumstance.
- 14:52We had a a planetary Prince who showed up around the time of the
- 14:58the colored races, as it's explained in the Rancho book.
- 15:02And at that time, the rebellion started, the rebellion against
- 15:07Michael's authority, and it kind of threw everything in whack.
- 15:14We were suddenly the, the rules that they were using to help
- 15:18cultivate a civilization on our world went awry.
- 15:25Calagastia, the divine son, the first revelation of, of the
- 15:31spiritual world defaulted and he he joined Lucifer.
- 15:35And that's what sort of set up off course we've been
- 15:39languishing under because we've really lacked that early
- 15:42building of a civilization. It all went kaput.
- 15:46Interestingly, the Tower of Babel, which is a story that's
- 15:50in the Bible, dates back to those days where there were
- 15:54remnants of the Super race who were sent here along with
- 15:59Calagasia the, the, the Prince of, of Urantia back then.
- 16:05And when he defaulted, everything went crazy.
- 16:07And there was a division among the ranks.
- 16:09You have the Nodites, you have the Vanites, you had all these
- 16:12different helpers, if you will, or what I, I like to refer to as
- 16:17the Anunnaki. And there was great division and
- 16:21consequently civilization stumbled and it wasn't until the
- 16:26appearance of the second divine order of sonship, which are the
- 16:30Adam and Eve's. They were the second revelation.
- 16:35And that's where essentially Genesis takes up the story,
- 16:39symbolism and all. And they defaulted.
- 16:43They went 100 and so years there was the great temptation which
- 16:47we can get into at another time. But the essential result of that
- 16:51was the consequence that yet again mankind was deprived of
- 16:57that spiritual instruction from above.
- 17:02And while Adam and Eve made a hearty attempt at reconciliation
- 17:08and rehabilitation of the human race, it it did not achieve its
- 17:13normalcy. We didn't recalibrate.
- 17:16There was still the rebellion. We were essentially cut off from
- 17:21the rest of the universe. And then around, I don't know,
- 17:26about 4000 years ago, they send an emergency son.
- 17:31And this is where things start getting really juicy.
- 17:34So now we've had three visitations, Revelation, epical
- 17:38Revelations. We've had Calagasia in his 100,
- 17:43we had Adam and Eve. And then around 4000 years ago,
- 17:48Melchizedek shows up and he's an emergency son.
- 17:51And he is sent here by the spiritual authorities to our
- 17:54world because the light of truth is fading from humanity.
- 18:01We're, we're going backwards. Humanity has made such great
- 18:05progress in almost 400,000 years.
- 18:08And now it's sort of back backtracking paganism,
- 18:13immorality. I mean, the whole story of of
- 18:16Lot and his wife in Sodom and Gomorrah is a testament to the
- 18:22fact that things were pretty crazy back then.
- 18:25And, and while there was intellectual progress, there was
- 18:28not spiritual progress. There was a hazy concept of
- 18:35deity, but most mostly it was simple ghost worship and
- 18:39sacrifice. And that was the state of
- 18:42humanity 4000 years ago. Melchizedek shows up, he sets up
- 18:47a school for spiritual instruction and starts
- 18:50recruiting all of these more advanced pupils from the
- 18:54surrounding tribes of Mesopotamia in the area of Ur.
- 18:59And this is the age of the Sumerians.
- 19:06Abraham was a Sumerian of Sumerian extract, and he was
- 19:12personally chosen by Melchizedek to carry forward the idea.
- 19:16Two, really. One was monotheism.
- 19:20Somebody had to carry that banner of monotheism forward to
- 19:24keep the light of truth alive in the minds and hearts of men.
- 19:29The second reason, probably equally as important, is that
- 19:33Melchizedek was quite aware that Michael, the Creator's son, was
- 19:37going to have his bestowal on our world, that he had chosen
- 19:45personally this world, and he had announced it even to Adam.
- 19:48Adam knew it. Adam was teaching this truth for
- 19:52as long as he could, and he lived over 900 years.
- 19:55Isaac and all of the subsequent prophets carried this truth
- 19:59forward that we were one day going to be visited by a
- 20:05bestowal son, the Son of God. And the whole Hebrew faith was
- 20:11centered around this great promise that that the Son of God
- 20:15would come and he would save the Jewish people and set up his
- 20:19reign of peace on earth. And the Jews were the chosen
- 20:23people. So now you've gotten this sort
- 20:27of thumbnail of what's going on here behind the scenes, because
- 20:31Christ knows he's coming here. He's going to bestow himself
- 20:34among the the Jews. And Michael is of course, the
- 20:39creator son of the universe. He can pick and choose where he
- 20:43wants to bestow. And he chose our world, one of
- 20:4510 million. Why did he choose our world?
- 20:49Because it afforded him the best opportunity to deal with and
- 20:54face the worst of circumstances. But that's not really the way it
- 21:00always works. We were the exception to the
- 21:03rule. So now let's get into Paper 52
- 21:07and we'll tell you how it really is supposed to be when things
- 21:12are operating normally for most worlds like ours.
- 21:17And this is from Paper 5 or Paper 52, Section 5, the post
- 21:22bestowal sun man. And they're going to tell us how
- 21:26things work. And it reads.
- 21:30When a certain standard of intellectual and spiritual
- 21:33development is attained on a, on an inhabited world, a paradise,
- 21:37bestowal sun always arrives, a normal world.
- 21:41She does not appear in the flesh until the races have ascended to
- 21:44the highest level of intellectual development and
- 21:47ethical attainment. But on our world Urantia, the
- 21:52Bestowal Sun, even your own Creator Sun, appeared at the
- 21:56close of the Adamic dispensation.
- 21:59But this is not the usual order of events on the world's of
- 22:03space. When the world's have become
- 22:06ripe for spiritualization, the bestowal Sun arrives.
- 22:10These Suns always belong to the Magisterial or Avonal Order,
- 22:14except in that case once in each local universe when the
- 22:20Creator's Son prepares for his terminal bestowal on some
- 22:24evolutionary world, as occurred when Michael of Nebadon appeared
- 22:28on Urantia to bestow himself upon your mortal races.
- 22:34Only one world in near 10 million can enjoy such a gift.
- 22:39All other worlds are spiritually advanced by the bestowal of a
- 22:43Paradise Son of the Avonal Order of the Bestowal Son arrives on a
- 22:49world of high educational culture and encounters a race
- 22:54spiritually trained and prepared to assimilate advanced teachings
- 22:59and to appreciate the bestowable mission.
- 23:01Now, that wasn't what happened when Christ showed up, was it?
- 23:08This is an age characterized by the worldwide pursuit of moral
- 23:12culture and spiritual truth. The mortal passion of this
- 23:16dispensation is the penetration of cosmic reality and communion
- 23:21with spiritual reality. Team.
- 23:24That's where we should have been.
- 23:25Had the Adamic default not occurred, we may have been much
- 23:30better prepared when Christ showed up.
- 23:33And He knew this by the way He knew what He was getting into.
- 23:39The revelations of truth are extended to include the Super
- 23:42universe. So he would have come and he
- 23:47would have taught us about his Father and heaven and the Isle
- 23:53of Paradise. The Urantia Book actually had to
- 23:56do that. This is the probably the
- 23:58significance of the Urantia Book is that it is sort of like, like
- 24:02you imagine a bookshelf and you have all these pockets where
- 24:07there should be books, you know, knowledge, books of knowledge
- 24:10that should line up the bookshelf.
- 24:13Well, when it comes to the human race, particularly on this
- 24:17world, our bookshelf is pretty empty.
- 24:20And there were a lot of holes of information that we simply
- 24:24weren't aware of by the time Christ showed up.
- 24:26So he had to come in the Urantia book.
- 24:28What it did is it pushed all those books together, gave us
- 24:33this book that fills in all the missing gaps.
- 24:36So now we know about the the Jerusalem.
- 24:39Now we know about the mansion worlds.
- 24:41Now we know what happens right after we pass from this world.
- 24:46The tarantula book tells us about the dispensation.
- 24:49The tarantula book tells us about the dispensation that
- 24:53Christ inaugurated upon his death and upon the appearance of
- 24:56the spirit of truth and all of those things that we outlined in
- 25:00the previous podcast, the after effects of of Christ showing up
- 25:04here. This is where it gets
- 25:07interesting. Now remember on a normal world
- 25:13had had our creator son gone to a world that was more normal,
- 25:17they would have been going through an age that that the
- 25:22mortal races were already spiritual.
- 25:25The bestowal son lives and dies for the spiritual uplift of the
- 25:29mortal races of a world. He establishes the new and
- 25:32living way. His life is an incarnation of
- 25:36Paradise, truth in mortal flesh, that very truth, even the spirit
- 25:42of Truth, and the knowledge of which men shall be free.
- 25:48Can I read that again? The bestowable Son lives and
- 25:53dies for the spiritual uplift of the mortal races of a world.
- 25:58He establishes the new and living way.
- 26:01His life is an incarnation of Paradise, truth in mortal flesh,
- 26:06that very truth, even the spirit of Truth and the knowledge of
- 26:11which men shall be free. So we're endowed by our Creator
- 26:17Father with certain inalienable rights, and free will is is
- 26:25paramount. God gave us free will so that we
- 26:28could freely choose. And the problem is we don't
- 26:33always choose the best way the the way that God would want us.
- 26:38And This is why we have the problems we have before the days
- 26:42of Christ. Michael, and I'm reading again
- 26:44on Urantia, All Souls slept on until the dispensational or
- 26:49special millennial resurrections.
- 26:53They make a note here that even Moses was lying in state.
- 26:57Essentially, he was not permitted to go over to the
- 27:01other side until the occasion of a special resurrection.
- 27:05And who had made that claim was like he filed A lawsuit or
- 27:11something. The planetary Prince Calagasia
- 27:13said. I know Moses is doesn't get to
- 27:16to go. And I and I think the motive
- 27:18behind that is because Moses was eventually going to be part of
- 27:22the 24 elders and Calagasia knew he wanted to basically keep him
- 27:27for himself. That's just sort of my sort of
- 27:33perspective of that. But anyway, up until the
- 27:36resurrection of the bestowal Son, the Urantia book tells us
- 27:39the third day after yielding up his incarnated life, he ascends
- 27:43to the right hand of the universal Father, receives the
- 27:46assurances of the acceptance of the bestowal mission, and
- 27:49returns to the Creator's Son at the headquarters of the
- 27:54universe. He is now the Sovereign Son.
- 27:57He now speaks for the Father and he joins with the universe
- 28:01Mother Spirit in eternal fidelity.
- 28:07And we talked about that leads to the Jubilee of Jubilees.
- 28:11So we celebrated last week. The post pastoral Sun age may
- 28:17extend from 10,000 to 100,000 years.
- 28:20There is no arbitrary time allotted to any of these
- 28:23dispensational eras. This is a time of great ethical
- 28:28and spiritual progress. Under the spiritual influence of
- 28:32these ages, human character undergoes tremendous
- 28:35transformational and phenomenal development.
- 28:39It becomes possible to put the Golden Rule into practical
- 28:43operation. The teachings of Jesus are
- 28:45really applicable to a mortal world which has had the
- 28:49preliminary training of the pre bestowal sons with the
- 28:53dispensations of character ennoblement and cultural
- 28:56augmentation. So in other words, because we
- 29:00we're deprived of that early cultural development as an
- 29:03effect of the previous bestowals, Christ came, but we
- 29:08weren't really ready for him is the essential truth of what
- 29:12they're saying. Which tells me that when Christ
- 29:17does return, it will be when the situation is better.
- 29:22And that's one of the challenges that I think all Christians have
- 29:25to come to terms, otherwise they're going to meet with
- 29:29continued failure. If they keep saying, oh, Christ
- 29:33is coming when the Antichrist, well, if I read the Urantia book
- 29:37correctly, it declares it Christ Michael will return.
- 29:42But there has to be a recalibration to the normalcy.
- 29:46Now what could happen is in a Bonal or a magisterial son could
- 29:53arrive, how, how would Christians accept that?
- 30:01If someone were to come and say I come on behalf of Jesus, how
- 30:04how would we, I am a magisterial son.
- 30:07What audience would he have? He wouldn't have an audience.
- 30:10People would reject him, just like the Jewish leaders in in
- 30:15Rome and the Roman leaders rejected Christ.
- 30:19They weren't prepared for them, just like today, we're not
- 30:22really prepared. If Christ were to come, if
- 30:24Christ were to come and present himself as Michael, the only
- 30:28people that would know this truth would be us.
- 30:32We would be the only group of people on the world that would
- 30:35know what that means. And then of course, that would
- 30:37probably get people to start thinking about this mysterious
- 30:42book. And then I I'm not altogether
- 30:47sure that even under these circumstances of having Christ
- 30:52come back and say I'm, I am the Lord, I was Michael.
- 30:56If he were to do that, we would, the world will reject him except
- 31:00for us and, and for those who did pick up the Urantia book and
- 31:04start reading it, do you really think that in Mass, we are at a
- 31:08stage where the average person on the street is going to be
- 31:11able to, to appreciate the level of spiritual and philosophical
- 31:17truth contained in this marvelous book?
- 31:22I'm, I've been reading it for four decades and I, I'm still
- 31:25astounded by its concepts. And in listening to the people
- 31:30that came forth last weekend and showed their devotion and
- 31:34dedication to Christ and the Father, they're still amazed.
- 31:40This is the gift that keeps on giving.
- 31:43And, and the most frustrating thing about it is it that there
- 31:46aren't enough people or there aren't more people who can
- 31:49appreciate the fullness of this wonderful revelation that we
- 31:53have in our possession. And it's it's why we do these
- 32:01podcasts. These are beacons of hope for
- 32:04the people that are spiritually dark.
- 32:05And let me tell you something, the world right now is
- 32:09spiritually dark. Oh, and maybe maybe I shouldn't
- 32:15bring this. But you know, when you think
- 32:18about, you know, in these last few weeks, we've been seeing a
- 32:21lot of things happening. You know, we've got this war in
- 32:24Iran. We've got Europe, which is
- 32:28seemed less than a decade away from total annihilation, non
- 32:34assimilation, AI is destroying jobs.
- 32:38It's going to create a subset of people, highly educated,
- 32:43frustrated and angry, angry people.
- 32:46Those were the circumstances in the early 1920s in China where
- 32:50you had an educated class with nothing to do and they were
- 32:54angry because they were living in poverty.
- 32:58And this was the same during the Bolshevik Revolution because
- 33:02there was a small group of people that seem to be enjoying
- 33:05everything and everybody else well.
- 33:07And this is to the circumstance in China, you've got 20% of the
- 33:11population who supports the communist system because they're
- 33:15doing well in it. This people that went to school
- 33:18and went and studied for government jobs, they like
- 33:22communism. It works for them.
- 33:25And in our country capitalism, it, it works for those who are
- 33:29capitalists. But right now with, with what's
- 33:33happening in the cultural trends, I think there's going to
- 33:36be a lot more worse before there's a lot more better.
- 33:39And we're not growing spiritually except for the
- 33:43Urantia book. The Urantia book is the newest
- 33:46infusion of advanced spiritual truth to come along in a long,
- 33:51long time. But it, it the, the, the lack of
- 33:57reception should be the Canary in the coal mine, the fact that
- 34:02there are more, not more people hungry for this kind of truth
- 34:06because they're more obsessed with other things being angry,
- 34:12the isms. But you know, we're, we're
- 34:14making progress slow, but sure. And and I'm not that concerned
- 34:19of whether or not the tarantula becomes a popular fad in my
- 34:24lifetime. It, it's not going anywhere And
- 34:27these truths will be here and they'll be a small army of
- 34:30people. And I, and I do believe that if
- 34:32there is a a chance that an avonal or a magisterial son
- 34:39would show or at the Melchizedek and the 12 receivers were to
- 34:44show themselves, if Adam and Eve somehow revealed themselves, if
- 34:49any of these things happened, there would be 1 community of
- 34:52people who would be ready to receive them.
- 34:57And that would be the people who read the Urantia book.
- 35:01And there are a million of us out there and we're growing
- 35:05every day. We're growing in communities
- 35:08without any help from anybody. The amount of beautiful creative
- 35:13works that are emerging from this group inspired by the
- 35:18revelatory teachings is off the charts.
- 35:22And I believe we're making great progress.
- 35:24But you don't need me to tell you that.
- 35:26But I do say that if we are to prepare, let us prepare for the
- 35:31next visitation. Let us be prepared just as
- 35:35Melchizedek was trying to prepare the people in the 1st
- 35:39century and even 2000 years before that.
- 35:43It may be a couple of 1000 years before the next sun shows up.
- 35:48The Urantia book may be the seed that can prepare the soil for
- 35:54people to be receptive to that next revelatory event, epical or
- 35:59epochal revelatory event. And if it takes 2000 years, if
- 36:04it takes 10, it takes what it takes.
- 36:07You know, what I've learned, if I've learned anything, is that
- 36:10God is not in a hurry. He's got all the time He needs.
- 36:15And I think He's going to give us as much time as we need to
- 36:20get to that state where we can truly be welcomed into the
- 36:23universe at large. If you want to
