- 0:00Speaker 1: II, Hi, you look handsome, So do you? I got
- 0:05Speaker 1: a haircut? Can you guys tell it?
- 0:07Speaker 2: Look?
- 0:07Speaker 3: Oh?
- 0:08Speaker 4: Looking good?
- 0:09Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 0:09Speaker 4: Okay short on the sides.
- 0:13Speaker 1: Well, I do want to go so short. So it's
- 0:15Speaker 1: sort of a hybrid. I had to have a conversation,
- 0:17Speaker 1: like I said, take like a month off, and then
- 0:24Speaker 1: he did, and I was like, try six weeks.
- 0:27Speaker 5: Try six weeks.
- 0:28Speaker 3: This tiniest little trip.
- 0:29Speaker 4: Up a couple more, couple more days off that.
- 0:33Speaker 3: What would a complete baldy be? Then how many months
- 0:36Speaker 3: would that be?
- 0:38Speaker 1: That wouldn't be months, that would be all that would
- 0:40Speaker 1: be taking me back to birth. I've never shaved my head.
- 0:45Speaker 1: I probably should. It would have to be justified by
- 0:47Speaker 1: a roll or something, because I'd never I've never other
- 0:50Speaker 1: than having a bald cap on in scrubs. I have
- 0:52Speaker 1: no idea what I look like like a crew cut.
- 0:58Speaker 3: I think it would look really funny.
- 0:59Speaker 1: On really because of my nose shape.
- 1:02Speaker 3: No, not because no shape, sack. No.
- 1:07Speaker 6: I think it such great hair. It would be like
- 1:09Speaker 6: a shame to cut it.
- 1:11Speaker 3: My nose shape. That's where you went.
- 1:13Speaker 1: As you know, I'm self conscious about my nose.
- 1:16Speaker 4: It's big. You wear it well, it's beautiful.
- 1:22Speaker 1: I'm loving the reaction to our Hyundai video. It's been
- 1:26Speaker 1: the people are so funny. Like the overwhelming response is
- 1:29Speaker 1: when are you going to release the whole episode?
- 1:31Speaker 4: Which makes me feel like we should.
- 1:33Speaker 3: I think we should, dude.
- 1:34Speaker 1: Yeah, did you read the comments? People were like, this
- 1:37Speaker 1: is hilarious. Put out the whole thing.
- 1:39Speaker 3: Yeah, people were like, I would watch this. What I
- 1:41Speaker 3: really like about it is that we're not freaking pushing
- 1:44Speaker 3: this car on you heavily. Yeah, actually comes up in
- 1:47Speaker 3: a natural conversation.
- 1:49Speaker 4: I love that.
- 1:50Speaker 1: And also and also, no bullshit. The car is nice,
- 1:53Speaker 1: like the cars. It's not like we're a lot. A
- 1:56Speaker 1: lot of people in the comments were like, oh my god,
- 1:58Speaker 1: I'm actually considering this car now and songs on our list,
- 2:01Speaker 1: and you know, obviously they're an advertiser, but we I
- 2:05Speaker 1: genuinely thought that car was pretty sexy. It is so
- 2:07Speaker 1: comfortable and and all the funny little like innovative safety
- 2:11Speaker 1: features like the attention thing and the and the blind
- 2:14Speaker 1: spots on your dash.
- 2:15Speaker 4: That was cool.
- 2:16Speaker 1: But dude, I laughed at us. I laugh every I've
- 2:18Speaker 1: watched a video nine hundred thousand times because I helped
- 2:21Speaker 1: edit it, and watching every time you say chewy nose,
- 2:24Speaker 1: I laugh.
- 2:27Speaker 4: Chewy nose.
- 2:28Speaker 1: No, no you go no, no chewing notes right.
- 2:32Speaker 3: Laugh Is what I laugh at is let me drive.
- 2:38Speaker 1: I was the room in the back because I saw
- 2:40Speaker 1: someone on my comments on my Instagram was car looks hot.
- 2:45Speaker 1: Daniel's a tall guy. Was there enough room for his legs?
- 2:49Speaker 4: Oh?
- 2:49Speaker 7: Absolutely yeah. I even had a bunch of stuff back there.
- 2:52Speaker 7: You may see, like leaning down the video like I
- 2:54Speaker 7: had the equipment. I had some boxes, and I was
- 2:57Speaker 7: very comfortable.
- 3:00Speaker 6: There's space to spare roomy.
- 3:03Speaker 1: And someone else wrote, wow, y'all weren't lying that is
- 3:05Speaker 1: a big sun roof.
- 3:09Speaker 7: I believe like I was so concentrated on the floor
- 3:12Speaker 7: because that's where all the recording stuff was. I didn't
- 3:14Speaker 7: look up until someone was like, that's a sunroof. So
- 3:15Speaker 7: when you hear me go, oh my goodness, that is enormous.
- 3:18Speaker 1: That was I like that trend of a sunroof being
- 3:23Speaker 1: the length of a car pretty much. Obviously, obviously you
- 3:26Speaker 1: need to be able to close it because the heat
- 3:28Speaker 1: can be oppressive. But yes, I feel like that's a
- 3:31Speaker 1: cool new trend that I appreciate.
- 3:34Speaker 6: Why who doesn't do a lot of driving it's really
- 3:36Speaker 6: nice to be able to just have sort of like
- 3:39Speaker 6: beyond a panoramic view of your surroundings. And as someone
- 3:42Speaker 6: who's been to a lot of drive ins over the
- 3:44Speaker 6: past year, those things are excellent for making sure you
- 3:46Speaker 6: can see the screen no matter where you have to
- 3:48Speaker 6: park the vehicle.
- 3:49Speaker 3: Super advantageous. Also if there's a night with beautiful stars
- 3:53Speaker 3: out and you just want to feel like you're flying
- 3:55Speaker 3: through the galaxy.
- 3:56Speaker 1: Oh gosh, did you feel like you were in the
- 4:00Speaker 1: Millennium Falcon?
- 4:02Speaker 3: I mean, when am I not in the Millennium podcast?
- 4:07Speaker 1: I had a lot of people comment like, dude, how
- 4:09Speaker 1: could you not know this MCU reference?
- 4:12Speaker 3: Boy?
- 4:14Speaker 4: Oh, come on, I don't know. I don't know any
- 4:17Speaker 4: of that stuff.
- 4:20Speaker 3: Do you care to know.
- 4:22Speaker 1: To have conversations with you?
- 4:24Speaker 4: Guys? I do?
- 4:25Speaker 3: And my will there ever be a moment in time
- 4:27Speaker 3: where you will have watched all of the EMCU movies
- 4:29Speaker 3: and be able to piece it together like I can.
- 4:32Speaker 4: No, But I tell you what.
- 4:34Speaker 1: I'm gonna watch Black Widow on July ninth with you.
- 4:36Speaker 4: Hey, Hey, I'm gonna sit next to you.
- 4:39Speaker 1: I'm gonna hold your thigh at exciting parts. Should I
- 4:45Speaker 1: do that thing? What was that movie Bachelor Party where
- 4:47Speaker 1: he puts the hole in the bottom of the popcorn
- 4:49Speaker 1: and puts the beep inside. Oh, should I do that
- 4:52Speaker 1: with you?
- 4:53Speaker 4: On July ninth?
- 4:54Speaker 3: I pray that you don't do that.
- 4:56Speaker 1: Did you ever see that movie Bachelor Party with Tom Hanks?
- 4:59Speaker 3: Like I can't eat the after that happens.
- 5:01Speaker 1: Well, you wouldn't be worried about the popcorn. You'd be
- 5:03Speaker 1: worried about the treats at the bottom.
- 5:06Speaker 4: Oh, my god, the treats.
- 5:13Speaker 1: Have you guys not seen Tom Hanks in the movie
- 5:15Speaker 1: Bachelor Party.
- 5:17Speaker 3: I've seen the movie.
- 5:18Speaker 1: Yes, there's no way that it is not completely unmakeable
- 5:22Speaker 1: today and on PC and probably horrible.
- 5:24Speaker 4: But as a kid, I remember thinking it was hilarious.
- 5:27Speaker 3: I just remember that ladies nipples were the size of court.
- 5:30Speaker 3: They looked like quarters. I remember that.
- 5:32Speaker 4: I don't remember that.
- 5:33Speaker 1: I remember that it was an early Tom Hanks movie,
- 5:35Speaker 1: before he became like family movie guy.
- 5:39Speaker 4: It was like R rated.
- 5:40Speaker 3: And crazy, before Splash.
- 5:43Speaker 4: It was before Splash, definitely.
- 5:46Speaker 3: Before Money Pit.
- 5:47Speaker 1: I don't know Joelle can answer. So I think it
- 5:50Speaker 1: was his first big lead if I'm not mistaken. I mean,
- 5:53Speaker 1: I don't know he was like it was before he
- 5:55Speaker 1: became like.
- 5:57Speaker 4: This was an R rated movie. I mean it was crazy.
- 6:00Speaker 3: I remember I remember seeing Big and being like, oh,
- 6:04Speaker 3: this guy's career is going a completely different path. And
- 6:07Speaker 3: I was young when it came out, but I knew.
- 6:09Speaker 3: I was like Tom Hanks is an amazing actor, dude.
- 6:12Speaker 3: And Big is the perfect example because me and my
- 6:14Speaker 3: friend it was a toss up that night. It was
- 6:18Speaker 3: that or like Funny Farm. It was something like that,
- 6:20Speaker 3: something where it was like something that you don't necessarily
- 6:23Speaker 3: want to see but you know you're gonna laugh, or
- 6:26Speaker 3: this movie that we knew nothing about. And I remember
- 6:29Speaker 3: going and seeing Big and being like, holy cow, that dude.
- 6:33Speaker 3: The dude from Bachelor Party is a great actor. I
- 6:35Speaker 3: remember hacking at.
- 6:36Speaker 1: But dude, there's a movie scene in this movie where
- 6:38Speaker 1: like they get a donkey for the bachelor party and
- 6:41Speaker 1: like there's all these bulls out on the table and
- 6:43Speaker 1: the donkey does all the pills. What the donkey like
- 6:49Speaker 1: snorts cocaine and like drops all these pills.
- 6:52Speaker 4: Oh it's crazy.
- 6:54Speaker 1: Yeah, Bachelor Party, everyone, I recommend it and if it
- 6:57Speaker 1: has offensive shit, and then I didn't make it.
- 6:59Speaker 4: I just remember my childhood.
- 7:02Speaker 6: You have both movies. Both Splash and Bachelor Party came
- 7:05Speaker 6: out in nineteen eighty four, which is, uh, those are
- 7:08Speaker 6: two very different movies for two very different audiences starring Sampers.
- 7:11Speaker 4: Yeah, I bet you.
- 7:11Speaker 1: When Splash became a giant hit, he was probably like,
- 7:14Speaker 1: oh shit, I've got that al rated. Should we get
- 7:22Speaker 1: in the episode?
- 7:22Speaker 4: Fucking amazing episode.
- 7:27Speaker 3: I'm not sure.
- 7:28Speaker 1: We made about a bunch of docs and.
- 7:32Speaker 2: N said he's a story net, so YadA here, yead here.
- 7:44Speaker 1: But this is a pretty great episode. I mean, it
- 7:51Speaker 1: has so much in it.
- 7:52Speaker 3: Did you direct this episode? Who did?
- 7:54Speaker 4: I wish I did?
- 7:55Speaker 1: Michael Spiller did, and he did a job. I mean
- 7:58Speaker 1: that cop tell us about the con fo sequence. It
- 8:00Speaker 1: looks like it took forever to do. And how much
- 8:04Speaker 1: rehearsal did you do?
- 8:05Speaker 3: It's just a day of rehearsal and then we shot.
- 8:08Speaker 3: We rehearsed in the morning and then shot that afternoon.
- 8:11Speaker 1: You rehearsed and shot all in one day.
- 8:14Speaker 3: Yeah. And this is before I had any type of
- 8:16Speaker 3: martial arts training or anything like that. I was just
- 8:18Speaker 3: basically doing what I saw on television and copying Brusollie
- 8:22Speaker 3: and stuff. Like that. But now I think because of
- 8:26Speaker 3: the amount of work I put in, I'd be like, well,
- 8:30Speaker 3: I don't know if that kick would look real, or
- 8:32Speaker 3: you know what I mean. I'd be a little bit
- 8:33Speaker 3: more critical of how it looked.
- 8:36Speaker 4: Right.
- 8:36Speaker 1: Well, you had the luxury of it being a comedy,
- 8:38Speaker 1: so you could be a little bit silly. But I
- 8:40Speaker 1: thought it was a really well shot by Michael Spiller,
- 8:43Speaker 1: and I thought you and Rob were fucking hilarious.
- 8:46Speaker 3: Yeah right, get ready for the big door.
- 8:52Speaker 1: And then you say that line from What's it is
- 8:54Speaker 1: an Indiana Jones.
- 8:55Speaker 3: Reference, Quit fooling around with that kid and get down here. Yeah.
- 9:01Speaker 5: Yeah, No, I.
- 9:03Speaker 4: Wish I did Scrubs Wiki.
- 9:04Speaker 3: I'm sorry, damn.
- 9:07Speaker 1: Scrubs Wiki had some good ones on this episode, but
- 9:10Speaker 1: God is a big episode. I this might have been
- 9:13Speaker 1: one of the ones that we didn't accomplished in five
- 9:16Speaker 1: days because it feels larger than usual because of the
- 9:20Speaker 1: whole triathlon and your kung Fu thing.
- 9:24Speaker 3: The big There's a lot in this episode.
- 9:26Speaker 1: Set pieces, as we call them in the biz.
- 9:29Speaker 3: But I did the sacred fart.
- 9:32Speaker 1: Yeah. So the first thing that happens is I'm at
- 9:36Speaker 1: your apartment and Carla wants me out. We're all speaking
- 9:40Speaker 1: subliminally to each other, and you tell me subliminally that
- 9:43Speaker 1: you're watching Gizelle in the Victorious Secrets Momo in your spoon.
- 9:50Speaker 1: Remember that that was the thing everyone would I never
- 9:53Speaker 1: think I really watched it, but they would do like
- 9:55Speaker 1: a Victoria's Secret show.
- 9:58Speaker 3: It was like a Runway show.
- 10:00Speaker 1: Right, But they've canceled it. I heard all the Victoria's
- 10:03Speaker 1: Secret model sexy girl thing is over right, Joell, Yeah.
- 10:08Speaker 6: I don't think I had anything to do with like
- 10:09Speaker 6: sexy girls or not. It's just Victoria's Secrets been struggling
- 10:12Speaker 6: as a company with the boom of a lot of
- 10:15Speaker 6: new lingerie ads. A lot of people got ahead of
- 10:18Speaker 6: the like full range of skin tone nudes before Victoria's
- 10:22Speaker 6: Secret did. They still own a large corner of the market.
- 10:25Speaker 6: Shout out to cor Harrington who has a Twitter that's
- 10:28Speaker 6: all about lingerie that I'm obsessed with. But yeah, so
- 10:32Speaker 6: they they are like, well, we're gonna we're gonna pivot,
- 10:34Speaker 6: We're gonna be like I think they're gonna probably move
- 10:37Speaker 6: in the like body inclusive skin color, Like.
- 10:40Speaker 1: What's that brand? Is it airy or something.
- 10:44Speaker 6: That is a that they do do that that.
- 10:46Speaker 1: For some reason, I feel like there's a brand that's
- 10:49Speaker 1: like embracing all body shapes and sizes.
- 10:52Speaker 6: There's a ton of them.
- 10:54Speaker 3: Second, are you telling me that lingerie is no longer
- 10:56Speaker 3: a thing anymore?
- 10:57Speaker 1: Like that's going on about what they're saying is like
- 11:01Speaker 1: Victoria's secret was clearly like here's what you wear if
- 11:04Speaker 1: you're a six one skinny woman, and look how sexy
- 11:07Speaker 1: it looks. And they're saying, why don't we have more
- 11:10Speaker 1: realistic lines of lingerie for all body types?
- 11:13Speaker 6: I'm guessing and skinny right now?
- 11:18Speaker 3: Lingerie always looks good when it's too small. I'm just
- 11:21Speaker 3: keeping it one hundred when it's all the way up,
- 11:25Speaker 3: and then when it's in the cracks, it's just better.
- 11:27Speaker 1: When it's in the cracks, it's better. That's a good
- 11:29Speaker 1: T shirt. Let's get that.
- 11:31Speaker 3: Am I Am I wrong?
- 11:33Speaker 2: Oh?
- 11:33Speaker 4: It depends I think three dudes.
- 11:36Speaker 3: Am I wrong?
- 11:38Speaker 1: Well? Three dudes and and a woman who likes women.
- 11:42Speaker 1: So I think you you can ask the question. I
- 11:44Speaker 1: think that it all depends on what everybody likes. Right,
- 11:47Speaker 1: so everyone likes the wrong thing. Do you like that
- 11:50Speaker 1: lingerie that has like the straps down the leg and
- 11:52Speaker 1: all that shit.
- 11:53Speaker 3: As long as it's in the cracks, I'm all good.
- 11:57Speaker 1: That's your only requirement is that it's in the crack.
- 12:00Speaker 3: It has so.
- 12:03Speaker 1: You don't like it if there's like satin covering the butt,
- 12:06Speaker 1: you want it in the crack.
- 12:08Speaker 3: I want that ship to look like I would listen.
- 12:11Speaker 1: Lord, like Lord's new album cover.
- 12:13Speaker 3: It's coming off. That's amazing. It's coming off just because
- 12:18Speaker 3: of that, just because of the freaking shot. If it listens,
- 12:22Speaker 3: it's coming off in five minutes, and in less than
- 12:23Speaker 3: five minutes anyway, you know what I mean? Like that.
- 12:26Speaker 3: That's the other thing I don't understand about it. I'm
- 12:28Speaker 3: always like baby put on some lingerie. She puts it on,
- 12:30Speaker 3: and within two minutes it's not on her anymore.
- 12:32Speaker 1: Right, But it's for the moment where you're like, damn,
- 12:36Speaker 1: that's glorious. Lord wearing anything in that picture, I don't know.
- 12:43Speaker 3: I don't know.
- 12:45Speaker 5: How do you know?
- 12:46Speaker 8: You did you zoom daniel zoom zoom zoom get zoom.
- 12:55Speaker 1: I couldn't. I couldn't tell if was This is the
- 13:01Speaker 1: sentence I've never said, I couldn't tell if Lord was nude.
- 13:09Speaker 1: She definitely has decided to show off her bum. Yes,
- 13:14Speaker 1: she said, I'm gonna jump over that cameraman. Yeah, but
- 13:19Speaker 1: you can't tell if she's wearing a bathing suit or not,
- 13:22Speaker 1: or or or a bong Danel, I didn't zoom.
- 13:26Speaker 3: So I don't know, Daniel, that you've looked, now that
- 13:30Speaker 3: you've taken a good look, Daniel.
- 13:32Speaker 1: Daniel, now that you've looked this, because you're the.
- 13:35Speaker 3: Ones you're when I was like, zoom.
- 13:39Speaker 7: It looks to me like she is wearing underwear, yes,
- 13:42Speaker 7: or a bathing suit.
- 13:43Speaker 1: Yeah. I imagine at the photo shoot she wasn't going
- 13:45Speaker 1: to jump over the cameraman naked.
- 13:47Speaker 4: So there you go.
- 13:48Speaker 3: Joel, did you did you see that?
- 13:50Speaker 4: Joe zoom?
- 13:51Speaker 6: Yeah, I saw it.
- 13:53Speaker 3: I assumed it was.
- 13:55Speaker 6: I don't think you need to zoom Blissa and you
- 14:00Speaker 6: can see her pretty well. It's Lord, Hey, what's up?
- 14:09Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 14:09Speaker 1: Well, I think that's gonna sell some albums. I don't
- 14:11Speaker 1: know if I don't know how the music is, but
- 14:13Speaker 1: everybody likes a nice bump.
- 14:15Speaker 4: Oh, it's all slapping. Lord's a great artist.
- 14:17Speaker 3: It's all slapping the music, dude. I'm gonna tell you
- 14:21Speaker 3: right now. Man, she ain't had a real hit since Royals, though,
- 14:23Speaker 3: keep it one hundred. That's the fire. That's the real deal.
- 14:27Speaker 3: Holy feel right there. That's the timeless hit that'll play
- 14:30Speaker 3: forever and ever and ever and ever. She's lucky to
- 14:32Speaker 3: have one. Everybody's lucky if you have one of those.
- 14:34Speaker 3: That's what I'm talking about. That shit is fire Royals.
- 14:40Speaker 1: She's had some time to make an album. Maybe it's
- 14:42Speaker 1: going to be fire.
- 14:43Speaker 3: As you say, it's tough to touch that Royals man,
- 14:46Speaker 3: keep it one hundred.
- 14:47Speaker 7: Well, her last album was in twenty seventeen, so she's
- 14:50Speaker 7: had some time.
- 14:52Speaker 1: I've been listening to this Beab song a lot.
- 14:54Speaker 4: Which one I'm not embarrassed?
- 14:57Speaker 3: Which one.
- 14:59Speaker 1: Is out in coming out of the closet today as
- 15:03Speaker 1: someone who loves Justin Bieber.
- 15:06Speaker 3: Okay, you were in the closet about that.
- 15:09Speaker 1: Yes, that's not something I have ever broadcast before. I
- 15:12Speaker 1: know that I'm very alpha and masculine, but I need
- 15:15Speaker 1: to break that image of me right now. Yeah, this
- 15:22Speaker 1: song anymore, Well, I'm sure there's not a lot of
- 15:26Speaker 1: bros being like, bro, did you hear fucking anyone? By Bieber?
- 15:31Speaker 1: That's a slab. It's a slab, and my friend wrote
- 15:34Speaker 1: it so I feel I feel extra proud of my friend.
- 15:37Speaker 4: He also wrote.
- 15:38Speaker 7: Peaches great song, TikTok Smasher, Yeah, killing it, killing it anyway.
- 15:46Speaker 7: I can't play you anyone here, guys, because I'm not
- 15:48Speaker 7: allowed to, but put it on, and especially right now.
- 15:54Speaker 1: I love I love pop, and it's obviously a super
- 15:57Speaker 1: pop radio hit. But the kid, the fella, he's not
- 16:00Speaker 1: a kid anymore. The young man can sing.
- 16:02Speaker 3: I got a good one for you. Then go ahead
- 16:04Speaker 3: the weekend and Ariana gran.
- 16:06Speaker 1: Oh, I know that song that's like the number one
- 16:08Speaker 1: song in the summer right now.
- 16:09Speaker 3: That song is I mean it was originally it was
- 16:12Speaker 3: a fire song when it's just a weekend, but Ariana
- 16:15Speaker 3: Grande has taken that ship to the next level.
- 16:19Speaker 1: It's got an it's very hit to be eighties right now.
- 16:21Speaker 3: Right Yeah. It has actually.
- 16:25Speaker 1: The dun dun dun dun du by the way anyone has.
- 16:28Speaker 1: When I told Andrew I liked his song, he said, oh,
- 16:30Speaker 1: did you like those Phil Collins drums, because you know
- 16:32Speaker 1: the song has that.
- 16:35Speaker 6: Yeah, love that.
- 16:38Speaker 1: And I was like, I'm talking to the guy who
- 16:39Speaker 1: fucking chose the Phil Collins song dumps my song.
- 16:43Speaker 4: It sounds so cool past the fucking sushi.

- 18:31Speaker 1: what you're trying to get into, what you're trying to do.
- 18:36Speaker 1: Come on, we gotta focus on.
- 18:37Speaker 4: The focus on the show.

- 19:19Speaker 3: I remember this episode very well, man, Like this is
- 19:22Speaker 3: one of those episodes when we were. When I was

- 19:27Speaker 3: remember shooting the scene Quondo eight thirty upside, I remember
- 19:31Speaker 3: shooting lasting laughing so hard at that. I remember that.
- 19:35Speaker 4: This season, I think is a really great season.
- 19:37Speaker 1: I know we got off the rails a little bit
- 19:39Speaker 1: with like you know, ostriches and shit, but I just
- 19:43Speaker 1: feel like, as we're starting to watch this season, I
- 19:45Speaker 1: remember liking the season and feeling like we were just
- 19:48Speaker 1: having so much.
- 19:48Speaker 3: Fun, so much fun at this time.
- 19:50Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, and Sacred Fart.
- 19:53Speaker 1: We didn't, you know, not expecting Kelso to like it,
- 19:55Speaker 1: but Kelso finds it hilarious.
- 19:57Speaker 3: Sacred Sacred Fart goes.
- 20:00Speaker 4: Did just see the sign and you do the safety dance? Yes?
- 20:10Speaker 3: Until that moment, I had never heard that song.
- 20:14Speaker 1: One song.
- 20:15Speaker 3: I heard the song. I didn't know what safety dance was.
- 20:19Speaker 4: You're getting Dunce if you want to, you can leave
- 20:21Speaker 4: Youngs behind.
- 20:22Speaker 5: Now.
- 20:22Speaker 1: I don't know much about them, but they were a
- 20:24Speaker 1: one hit wonder. And then you make some reference to
- 20:26Speaker 1: the band.
- 20:27Speaker 4: That I didn't fully get.
- 20:30Speaker 3: What do you mean you.
- 20:31Speaker 1: Say something about common do common common dot or.
- 20:35Speaker 4: Something that's.
- 20:38Speaker 6: Elliott says it to uh, Carla, and she was like,
- 20:42Speaker 6: didn't you learn your lesson when you asked them if
- 20:45Speaker 6: when you told him the commandant was coming to town.
- 20:47Speaker 6: But I didn't get it either. I'm gonna look it up.
- 20:49Speaker 1: I think the band is called Dirk Comman Dot or something.
- 20:51Speaker 4: I don't know. It went over my head.
- 20:55Speaker 3: He can dance, he can dance if he wants to
- 20:58Speaker 3: leave his friends.
- 20:59Speaker 1: But I laughed out loud at you're so you we're
- 21:04Speaker 1: going through the list of things that.
- 21:06Speaker 4: You were Elliott were going.
- 21:07Speaker 3: To and me and I go, how could you never?
- 21:10Speaker 3: How could he not have slept in a in a hammock,
- 21:13Speaker 3: naked on a hammock.
- 21:15Speaker 1: I'm afraid of dragonflies. I definitely made that shut up there.
- 21:22Speaker 3: I'm afraid of dragonflies.
- 21:24Speaker 1: I'm afraid of dragonflies. Like, why is that gonna really
- 21:28Speaker 1: fuck up my naked sleeping in a hammock?
- 21:30Speaker 3: I don't know. And Kelso's really driving through this year
- 21:34Speaker 3: that he loves Asian prostitutes.
- 21:36Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean it's in every episode that Kelso really
- 21:39Speaker 1: loves prostitutes of the now what's it?
- 21:46Speaker 2: So?
- 21:46Speaker 1: What do you think Jake's fantasy was? They were in
- 21:48Speaker 1: there for four minutes?
- 21:51Speaker 3: He probably said something really naughty.
- 21:54Speaker 4: Yeah, I mean, what is going to make a woman?
- 21:56Speaker 1: She says, come on, Drake, just come on in here,
- 21:59Speaker 1: just tell me what your wildest thing is. Anything is good, okay.
- 22:02Speaker 1: So and then the clock cuts to five minutes later
- 22:04Speaker 1: and not even and they run out, and she's like,
- 22:06Speaker 1: oh my god, Jake, like, what could it have been?
- 22:09Speaker 3: Do you have anything like that where you'd be like, well,
- 22:11Speaker 3: that's it? Never mind the hottest, the hot, the thing,
- 22:16Speaker 3: the moment that you've been waiting for with the woman
- 22:19Speaker 3: that you've been waiting for, Whether it's like like, let's
- 22:22Speaker 3: go off the chain, like the person you never ever
- 22:25Speaker 3: in a million million years thought it would be possible.
- 22:29Speaker 3: You two are in a moment and this person says
- 22:32Speaker 3: something to stop you guys from doing it. What would
- 22:37Speaker 3: it be?
- 22:38Speaker 4: I don't know.
- 22:38Speaker 1: I don't know. I mean something that's that would be painful.
- 22:41Speaker 1: I'm not really into smm. If she was like, I've
- 22:43Speaker 1: got the clamps, get in a fucking cage.
- 22:51Speaker 4: I mean, no disrespect to those who love it, but
- 22:53Speaker 4: I just don't think that that's like my particular thing.
- 22:57Speaker 1: Get in the dog, it's all set up, Get in it.
- 23:00Speaker 1: Eat that kibble, motherfucker.
- 23:05Speaker 4: I don't know. What about you? What's your answer?
- 23:07Speaker 3: I don't know, dude. It's a tough one because, like.
- 23:10Speaker 1: I mean, like they don't even start. They just like
- 23:14Speaker 1: he talks her through it, this.
- 23:16Speaker 3: Is what we're gonna do, and she's like, that's it. No,
- 23:18Speaker 3: it breaks them up. It breaks them up.
- 23:21Speaker 1: Yeah, it's pretty sad for poor Jake. He finally felt
- 23:24Speaker 1: comfortable to share his his fans.
- 23:27Speaker 3: Pressure. You pressured, You pressured her into doing.
- 23:29Speaker 1: That, right, I did, But I mean I wanted her
- 23:33Speaker 1: to be honest and open with her lover.
- 23:37Speaker 4: She has a fantasy.
- 23:38Speaker 1: We learned that that's a very elaborate involving a Mexican apple.
- 23:42Speaker 4: That was so funny.
- 23:43Speaker 1: But I thought this was the episode there's but there's
- 23:45Speaker 1: one point where where I fulfill her fantasy by dressing
- 23:48Speaker 1: up as the Mexican apple thief.
- 23:50Speaker 4: But I'm not.
- 23:51Speaker 1: It's not that we're hooking up. I'm helping her with
- 23:53Speaker 1: another man. I think, don't you remember that? It must
- 23:58Speaker 1: be this season because the season as a runner of
- 24:00Speaker 1: Elliott being obsessed with her whole elaborate Mexican apple thief
- 24:04Speaker 1: sex fantasy. And there's some point where I dress up
- 24:07Speaker 1: with like a Mexican poncho and a sombrero, and I'm
- 24:11Speaker 1: sure it's not going to be very PC, but I
- 24:14Speaker 1: know that I'm playing a Mexican apple thief.
- 24:17Speaker 3: I don't remember.
- 24:18Speaker 1: I don't think there's any skin painting or anything like that,
- 24:22Speaker 1: but I do know that, Oh boy, I'm wearing right.
- 24:25Speaker 1: I think I am wearing a sombrero.
- 24:27Speaker 3: JD Cereal, JD's Bananas and Nuts.
- 24:34Speaker 4: Oh man, I was on fire this episode.
- 24:38Speaker 1: What about Doug pre tagging the patient's toes. Yeah, he's
- 24:43Speaker 1: like I wrote one ish.
- 24:46Speaker 3: There are a lot of very funny Carla looking for
- 24:49Speaker 3: couples to eat dinner with. I know, I know how
- 24:52Speaker 3: that goes, dude, I know how that goes. That's your wife,
- 24:55Speaker 3: that is my wife. Get married, We'll have dinner together.
- 24:58Speaker 1: Yeah she she always used to say that to me.
- 25:02Speaker 1: And find a girlfriend. We can stop being our third
- 25:03Speaker 1: wheel and go on double dates.
- 25:05Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 25:07Speaker 1: All right, now, this whole we got to talk about
- 25:08Speaker 1: this whole triathlon thing. This was the water was colder
- 25:13Speaker 1: than you could possibly imagine. We really went out to
- 25:15Speaker 1: the beach. We were out in Malibu, and I remember
- 25:19Speaker 1: that scene where I'm getting in the water is the
- 25:21Speaker 1: funniest fucking thing.
- 25:22Speaker 4: I laughed so hard.
- 25:23Speaker 1: No wet suit and like tiptoeing in and trying to
- 25:25Speaker 1: splash it on my body.
- 25:27Speaker 3: Yeah, but then there's a scene where you're actually swimming in.
- 25:30Speaker 1: I was out there in the water. Yeah, it was freezing.
- 25:32Speaker 1: It was like forty five degrees. No wet suit and
- 25:35Speaker 1: all the crew is in there with wet suits, right,
- 25:38Speaker 1: and what it was a hot day. But it didn't
- 25:41Speaker 1: matter that it was a hot day, because this is
- 25:43Speaker 1: actually an interesting story. The water was freezing, but it
- 25:46Speaker 1: was hot outside. So they had a big longboard for
- 25:49Speaker 1: me to get out onto for breaks because you couldn't
- 25:52Speaker 1: stay in there very long and you just lost your breath.
- 25:54Speaker 1: It was so fucking cold. So I would do the
- 25:57Speaker 1: gag pick an apple put in your pocket, and we
- 25:59Speaker 1: did that, and then I would they give me a break, okay,
- 26:01Speaker 1: cut take a break, and I would get on the
- 26:02Speaker 1: blongboard and it would be hot in the sun and
- 26:05Speaker 1: I just kind of catch my breath. I did that
- 26:06Speaker 1: so many times, going back and forth, hot cold, hot cold.
- 26:10Speaker 1: When I came out of there, I was like in ecstasy.
- 26:13Speaker 1: It felt so amazing. I don't know if you've ever
- 26:16Speaker 1: done this with like a cold plunge pool and a sauna. People,
- 26:19Speaker 1: you know, if you're at a spa or if someone
- 26:21Speaker 1: you know has this, but if you go hot cold
- 26:23Speaker 1: hot cold hot cold, like twenty times.
- 26:26Speaker 4: You you have this euphoria come over you.
- 26:28Speaker 1: And I remember, I remember, I'll never forget it. I
- 26:30Speaker 1: was lying in my trailer and I was like, I
- 26:33Speaker 1: felt like higher than I've ever felt in a good way.
- 26:36Speaker 1: And it was they say this hot cold hot cold.
- 26:39Speaker 3: Don't they say that this is what you're supposed to
- 26:41Speaker 3: do nowadays? Like isn't this a regimen that people are
- 26:44Speaker 3: doing too? Yes, I know there's people that dementia or
- 26:49Speaker 3: something like that.
- 26:50Speaker 1: I don't know about dementia, but it definitely felt good
- 26:52Speaker 1: for anxiety if you can handle it. I know that people.
- 26:54Speaker 1: I remember reading an arc about Rick Rubin, the famous producer,
- 26:57Speaker 1: had like a sauna and then outside his sauna an
- 27:00Speaker 1: ice plunge and he would do this. He would go,
- 27:02Speaker 1: and there's other people that do it. They go back
- 27:04Speaker 1: and forth, go back and forth, and you have you
- 27:05Speaker 1: get this like natural high from your body going. I
- 27:10Speaker 1: can tell you from this experience that I've never forgotten
- 27:13Speaker 1: that it works. I did it a lot because we
- 27:15Speaker 1: shot that whole scene and I had to keep doing
- 27:16Speaker 1: and keep doing it, and it was amazing. I felt
- 27:21Speaker 1: I felt higher than I've ever felt, but in a
- 27:23Speaker 1: good way, and like a not a not a drug way,
- 27:25Speaker 1: and like a oh, enlightened way.
- 27:28Speaker 3: That's dope. We should go to break.
- 27:31Speaker 1: All right, We're gonna go to break and we'll be
- 27:33Speaker 1: right back after what you're trying to get into one day.
- 27:36Speaker 1: Shoon what you're trying to do.
- 27:46Speaker 3: And we're back.
- 27:48Speaker 1: Did you see that.
- 27:49Speaker 3: Listening to pig Doctor's real friends.
- 27:51Speaker 1: Did you see that nice woman who covered uh the
- 27:53Speaker 1: we got a call her song? She did a good
- 27:55Speaker 1: job she did. We want more of you to cover
- 27:58Speaker 1: the songs. If you're a fan and you're do covers,
- 28:02Speaker 1: can you tag us in covers on Instagram and and
- 28:04Speaker 1: and if they're not horrible, we'll we'll repost them.
- 28:08Speaker 3: Donald, I would love to hear like a twelve part
- 28:12Speaker 3: a cappella band do what you're trying to get some stories.
- 28:17Speaker 7: Yeah, I was just gonna say about it, so we
- 28:19Speaker 7: may even something slowed down.
- 28:23Speaker 3: Yeah, so about a bunch of doctor cause.
- 28:29Speaker 1: But anyway, the point is is that if you. If
- 28:31Speaker 1: you do sing covers, please sing and cover of one
- 28:33Speaker 1: of our many ditties and we'll we'll repost it.
- 28:37Speaker 3: I want to talk about that. We were talking about
- 28:39Speaker 3: the the triathlon that JD does. It's more like a
- 28:44Speaker 3: walk about really when you think about it, right, he's
- 28:47Speaker 3: having a moment in his life where he's trying to
- 28:49Speaker 3: figure out what he's going to do. He needs a
- 28:52Speaker 3: place to live, and you know he's alone.
- 28:55Speaker 10: Yeah, no girlfriend, no girlfriend, He's lost, and he goes
- 29:00Speaker 10: on this journey, yeah, this quest through ocean land.
- 29:06Speaker 4: A vision quest.
- 29:07Speaker 3: Yeah, you're right. Yeah, come through at the end and
- 29:11Speaker 3: realize he has the help all He had the help
- 29:15Speaker 3: all along. It was offered to him in the beginning,
- 29:17Speaker 3: and he was so stubborn that he played it off
- 29:20Speaker 3: as like, you know, we're superficial friends. We're not really friends.
- 29:24Speaker 4: Yeah, we like to.
- 29:25Speaker 3: Keep it superficial, but really JD and Elliott are there
- 29:29Speaker 3: for each other regardless of if they're a boyfriend and
- 29:32Speaker 3: girlfriend couple. They are.
- 29:33Speaker 1: You know, you could say he can't do it all
- 29:36Speaker 1: on his own.
- 29:36Speaker 3: You could say that, but I chose not to. You know,
- 29:39Speaker 3: I wish you would have to say no.
- 29:45Speaker 1: Listen, it's very listless to the to a real place.
- 29:48Speaker 1: It's very hard to maintain a friendship. It's one thing
- 29:53Speaker 1: to have an ex where you're like, you're tight, you're fine,
- 29:56Speaker 1: it's cool, everything's all good, Like how are you good?
- 29:58Speaker 4: Good?
- 29:58Speaker 1: Oh, I saw your instagram? You know, superficial talk. But
- 30:01Speaker 1: these two were trying to be in each other's lives
- 30:04Speaker 1: as best friends in a best friend group. That's really
- 30:08Speaker 1: and work together every day. That's really, really hard. They're
- 30:10Speaker 1: asking a lot of each other and they're their Their
- 30:13Speaker 1: way of trying to do it is to keep everything superficial.
- 30:16Speaker 1: I mean, he literally says dynamite teeth today, friend so sparkly.
- 30:20Speaker 1: I mean, they're just trying to keep it superficial. And
- 30:22Speaker 1: finally Elliot breaks down and I can't keep it superficial
- 30:25Speaker 1: with you. You're my you're my friend. I don't know
- 30:27Speaker 1: how to be fake with you. Oh my god, that
- 30:32Speaker 1: dolphin costume.
- 30:34Speaker 3: I don't care bad. That was like, I loved it.
- 30:40Speaker 1: He's hallucinated.
- 30:42Speaker 3: Well yeah, but you grab her face first. Oh you're real. Yeah,
- 30:45Speaker 3: thank goodness.
- 30:47Speaker 1: I thought it was a hilarious choice that she's in
- 30:49Speaker 1: a dolphin costume because he's tripping out and he's hallucinating.
- 30:59Speaker 1: I thought very funny, and I just thought it was
- 31:01Speaker 1: sweet that she carried me and he got that Keen song,
- 31:04Speaker 1: which I love, and I believe this going forward. Bill said,
- 31:07Speaker 1: season five on, they're all the original songs. They worked
- 31:10Speaker 1: out what the deals would be from season five on,
- 31:14Speaker 1: so the songs aren't replaced, as I understand it. Do
- 31:16Speaker 1: you remember Keen Love Keen? I don't know what happened
- 31:20Speaker 1: to Keene.
- 31:21Speaker 3: Remember the Bowery Bar Keen me you, Bill Lawrence.
- 31:27Speaker 4: No, I don't remember that.
- 31:28Speaker 3: I remember New York City.
- 31:30Speaker 4: I remember New York City. It's it's the big city
- 31:32Speaker 4: in New York.
- 31:32Speaker 1: Right.
- 31:33Speaker 3: Do you remember when we went and saw that show Keen.
- 31:37Speaker 1: I've seen a few Keen shows, But go ahead.
- 31:40Speaker 3: Right, this was right when this is right around this time,
- 31:43Speaker 3: when and if we.
- 31:46Speaker 9: Have a moment, why don't we go some talk about
- 31:51Speaker 9: it somewhere only we know this could be the end
- 31:56Speaker 9: of everything, So why don't we ego, you don't remember
- 32:02Speaker 9: going to somewhere?
- 32:03Speaker 4: Well, we know it's great song.
- 32:05Speaker 1: I don't know what happened to that band.
- 32:06Speaker 4: They were so good.
- 32:08Speaker 3: We went and saw them live at the Bowery Bar, dude,
- 32:11Speaker 3: is what I'm trying to say.
- 32:11Speaker 4: Okay, we didn't see them at the Bowery Bar. What
- 32:14Speaker 4: is a venue?
- 32:15Speaker 1: What is it then the Bowerie Uh a venue in
- 32:19Speaker 1: the Bowery.
- 32:19Speaker 4: It's not called the Bowery Bar.
- 32:21Speaker 3: What is the what is the big ass?
- 32:24Speaker 1: Now? I'm getting now, I'm getting what you're saying.
- 32:26Speaker 4: It's on it's on Houston.
- 32:29Speaker 3: I think is it the Bowery or is it something else?
- 32:32Speaker 1: You looked that up, Daniel, you're the music guy here.
- 32:36Speaker 7: What the name of the venue or what happened I
- 32:38Speaker 7: looked at I mistaken just called the Bowery Bowery Ballroom.
- 32:42Speaker 1: Bowery Ballroom, that's what it is.
- 32:44Speaker 3: The neck ears.
- 32:47Speaker 1: Wow, wow, listen, do not fuck my twat ears. Oh
- 32:54Speaker 1: my god, here comes the sound effect again, Dann. I
- 32:56Speaker 1: need that from my my sound pad.
- 32:59Speaker 4: I can get you both get both day.
- 33:01Speaker 1: I don't want a real sexual noise. I want Donald's
- 33:05Speaker 1: specific one.
- 33:07Speaker 4: Thank you.
- 33:09Speaker 1: What about when I'm peddling the bike and I'm like,
- 33:12Speaker 1: the only thing I've had to eat all day is
- 33:13Speaker 1: a half a jellyfish and just why don't you just
- 33:17Speaker 1: change gears? And I go it's like peddling and hummus.
- 33:24Speaker 1: And then I see, uh, Johnny Castle and Sam walked
- 33:29Speaker 1: by with a freaking pig old pig.
- 33:33Speaker 3: They're eating the apple.
- 33:37Speaker 1: They did. They're going to they will see you with
- 33:38Speaker 1: the lou out.
- 33:39Speaker 5: I go.
- 33:39Speaker 1: They already finished and cooked a pig. They they not
- 33:44Speaker 1: only finished, but they successfully cooked a pig on a
- 33:48Speaker 1: on a what do you call it?
- 33:49Speaker 4: A spiggot spit on a spit? Do you think that
- 33:55Speaker 4: where water comes out of do you think that?
- 33:57Speaker 1: Do you think that Johnny Castle and Sam? I mean
- 34:00Speaker 1: their characters actually cooked the pig themselves.
- 34:03Speaker 3: I don't think they existed. I think that was the fake.
- 34:05Speaker 3: I think they were the hallucination.
- 34:07Speaker 1: No, no, no, I think, well, what's a funnier answer.
- 34:11Speaker 1: The funnier answer is that they've had that much time
- 34:14Speaker 1: off from the from the triathlon.
- 34:15Speaker 4: They've been done for so long.
- 34:18Speaker 3: Yeah, but then the joke doesn't make sense when he
- 34:21Speaker 3: grabs her face, Oh you and you're real, thank god?
- 34:25Speaker 4: Oh my god.
- 34:25Speaker 1: How about when we when you're getting ready to do
- 34:27Speaker 1: the surgery for the woman and they cut to without
- 34:32Speaker 1: anesthesia and they cut the cocks.
- 34:38Speaker 4: That was so funny.
- 34:40Speaker 1: And then you're like you go, you got this, you
- 34:42Speaker 1: got this. And then you see the the hypnotist. He's
- 34:44Speaker 1: whispering you what are you saying, and he goes, I'm
- 34:46Speaker 1: just saying, you got this, you got this? Right?
- 34:48Speaker 3: Did you see? Did you see what he does when
- 34:50Speaker 3: she starts screaming, seems like he was freaking no.
- 35:01Speaker 1: But there's no way that woman would ever not scream.
- 35:05Speaker 1: First of all, you got one cut in and she
- 35:07Speaker 1: didn't scream.
- 35:08Speaker 3: Yeah, but you know it was burning, you know that
- 35:11Speaker 3: shit was burning. You know, she was like, God, if
- 35:15Speaker 3: he cuts me one more time, that's it. That's wait,
- 35:17Speaker 3: that's it. I'm not gonna be able to take it.
- 35:19Speaker 1: Oh my god. And then she screams, and then you go,
- 35:22Speaker 1: obi Nobi, this episode was hilarious, dude. And then Elliott
- 35:34Speaker 1: carry me at the end into the finish line.
- 35:37Speaker 3: Yeah, it's very, very, very polished.
- 35:41Speaker 1: And then we're lying there together. I mean, you get
- 35:42Speaker 1: the sense in this episode you can't help but go
- 35:45Speaker 1: maybe they will end up together.
- 35:47Speaker 4: They're so cute together.
- 35:49Speaker 3: Well, you could tell that, you could tell that she
- 35:54Speaker 3: definitely has feelings for him, I.
- 35:56Speaker 1: Mean yeah, and he does for her.
- 35:58Speaker 3: Well yeah, but the fact that she puts the dude
- 36:01Speaker 3: on her back and carries him over the fence. Yea,
- 36:06Speaker 3: you love already like like that. That's foreshadowing in a
- 36:11Speaker 3: big motherfucking way, you know what I mean?
- 36:13Speaker 1: Yeah, because that's what you do with a partner. You
- 36:15Speaker 1: lift them up. You you you carry them when they
- 36:18Speaker 1: need to be carried.
- 36:20Speaker 3: That's right. As a new addition, once said, can you
- 36:22Speaker 3: stand the rain, Elliott says yes, yeah I can.
- 36:27Speaker 1: And also like that footprints thing with Jesus, like you
- 36:30Speaker 1: know and when when when you didn't see my footsteps
- 36:33Speaker 1: beside you, I was carrying it. Yeah, footprints Elliott is
- 36:38Speaker 1: my Jesus. She's carrying me.
- 36:41Speaker 3: Wow, steep step Right. We should probably go to break
- 36:45Speaker 3: and then come back with the guy.
- 36:47Speaker 1: We're going to break, and we will come back with
- 36:49Speaker 1: an exciting caller right back, and we're bad.
- 36:58Speaker 3: We're play that music. No, not that music.
- 37:07Speaker 1: And I thought you liked my song Tell me Day.
- 37:11Speaker 1: I'll play the color music. We can talk, you know,
- 37:18Speaker 1: like a.
- 37:19Speaker 7: Ball of smoke, some jazz, maybe talking about the episode.
- 37:25Speaker 1: So come on, let's.
- 37:26Speaker 5: Get the show on.
- 37:30Speaker 3: Very give it up for Billy.
- 37:37Speaker 5: Is gone. Billy, Welcome to the podcast, My friend, Oh
- 37:40Speaker 5: my gosh, it's so good to see you all.
- 37:42Speaker 4: It's so good to see you, my friend.
- 37:44Speaker 1: Welcome, welcome, welcome, Thank you calling from from Well.
- 37:47Speaker 5: I live in Denver, but currently in the state of Washington. Uh.
- 37:52Speaker 5: My girlfriend and I are actually living out of the
- 37:54Speaker 5: band for the summer, traveling around and uh yeah, we
- 37:58Speaker 5: are taking a little break in an airbnb. So it's
- 38:01Speaker 5: actually good timing for this.
- 38:03Speaker 3: I'm crying to get to wash that ass.
- 38:04Speaker 1: Huh, Hi, Donald just met him. Don't talk about as
- 38:08Speaker 1: you know.
- 38:08Speaker 3: You know he's a dirty dude.
- 38:10Speaker 1: If he's Yeah, you can't wash your ass in the van, listen,
- 38:12Speaker 1: you cannot. I have been went down a rabbit hole
- 38:16Speaker 1: with these conversion vans. I saw Nomad Lands, and I
- 38:18Speaker 1: know Nomadland was not meant to make me feel like
- 38:21Speaker 1: I want to live in a van, but I did.
- 38:25Speaker 1: I went down the rabbit hole. And is that what
- 38:26Speaker 1: you're in? Some sort of converted van?
- 38:29Speaker 5: Yeah? Yeah, I bought a van a couple of years ago,
- 38:31Speaker 5: converted it myself, put some solar panels and batteries and
- 38:35Speaker 5: all the works in it.
- 38:36Speaker 1: So what do you got in there?
- 38:38Speaker 4: What do you got in there? Besides the bed?
- 38:39Speaker 5: Obviously, we've got a bed, We've got we've got lights,
- 38:42Speaker 5: we've got fans, we've got a heater. I got a
- 38:45Speaker 5: lot of storage for toys. My girlfriend and I love
- 38:47Speaker 5: biking and paddle boarding, all the outdoor sports, so we
- 38:50Speaker 5: got a big old garage for everything in the back.
- 38:53Speaker 5: So yeah, it's like a little log cabin in the back.
- 38:55Speaker 1: Do you have a fridge and at food?
- 38:58Speaker 5: Yeah, we've got a little fridge. We've got a little
- 39:01Speaker 5: kitchen stove sync with like a little pump action faucet.
- 39:06Speaker 5: So very basic, but you know you did.
- 39:08Speaker 1: And then what about the peeing and poohing situation.
- 39:11Speaker 5: Yeah, that one's a little difficult sometimes. We always try
- 39:14Speaker 5: and prioritize having bathrooms nearby, but if emergency calls, we
- 39:19Speaker 5: do have a bucket toilet with a little baggies.
- 39:23Speaker 1: They have that, and they have that in No mad
- 39:26Speaker 1: Land where they talk about pooping in a bucket.
- 39:29Speaker 5: Yes, yes, yes they did.
- 39:30Speaker 1: You see No mad Land?
- 39:32Speaker 5: I did, Yes, I loved it. I thought it was
- 39:34Speaker 5: it was very beautiful.
- 39:36Speaker 3: Did this make you want to churin your lifestyle? And
- 39:38Speaker 3: this is why you're doing this?
- 39:40Speaker 5: Well, I mean I was doing it before No Madland
- 39:42Speaker 5: came ou we were not in the van at the time,
- 39:45Speaker 5: and it made us want to kind of go back in.
- 39:48Speaker 1: So it must have to You must have to really,
- 39:50Speaker 1: really really get along with your girlfriend to live out
- 39:53Speaker 1: of a van together.
- 39:54Speaker 4: I mean, there she is.
- 39:56Speaker 1: It feels like next level getting along, not just like, oh, no,
- 39:59Speaker 1: we love you to like, no, we're going to get
- 40:00Speaker 1: in a tiny van and tour the country.
- 40:03Speaker 5: Yes, yeah, we get along. Well, there are definitely some
- 40:06Speaker 5: times where we kind of get at each other's nerves
- 40:08Speaker 5: a little bit, but for the most part, yeah, we
- 40:10Speaker 5: get along.
- 40:11Speaker 1: What do you say, You're like, go to the back
- 40:12Speaker 1: of the van.
- 40:16Speaker 5: I like my alone time, So I always preface like
- 40:18Speaker 5: every time we go out, like, I need some alone time.
- 40:21Speaker 5: I need some time where I'm gonna go off by
- 40:23Speaker 5: myself and do my own thing.
- 40:24Speaker 1: Because she doesn't get upset by that.
- 40:26Speaker 5: She does a little bit. She doesn't like me in
- 40:28Speaker 5: a lot.
- 40:28Speaker 1: So yeah, I can't picture you and Casey living in
- 40:34Speaker 1: a van together.
- 40:36Speaker 3: When we first started dating, CBS asked us if we
- 40:39Speaker 3: wanted to be a couple on the Amazing Race and
- 40:42Speaker 3: I was like, I was like, if we did it, babe,
- 40:45Speaker 3: I mean, yeah, we'd probably win. But our relationship would
- 40:49Speaker 3: be over.
- 40:51Speaker 1: Amazing.
- 40:52Speaker 4: Race is very stressful on a couple.
- 40:54Speaker 3: Yes, I couldn't imagine doing something like that. So being
- 40:58Speaker 3: in a van with just just me and Casey. Are
- 41:01Speaker 3: the kids with us?
- 41:02Speaker 1: No, I was making it one step easier and saying
- 41:04Speaker 1: it was just you and Casey. The kids would be
- 41:05Speaker 1: ridiculous in a van.
- 41:06Speaker 3: It'd be so difficult.
- 41:08Speaker 1: Yeah, they'd be hitting each other and shit. But I
- 41:11Speaker 1: love these conversion vans. There's there's all there are all
- 41:13Speaker 1: different levels, and it's so I'm always so interested in
- 41:16Speaker 1: how people like do their layout and what they choose
- 41:19Speaker 1: to put in there and whatnot, and people go crazy
- 41:21Speaker 1: with it.
- 41:22Speaker 5: Yeah, there's there's a million different ways you can make them.
- 41:25Speaker 5: It just kind of all depends on your needs.
- 41:27Speaker 1: So it's like you know on Instagram, when you second,
- 41:29Speaker 1: you like start clicking on something and then it's just
- 41:32Speaker 1: like sends you the mother load. My feed for a
- 41:34Speaker 1: while was just like ninety percent conversion vans.
- 41:39Speaker 5: Yeah, that's that's my girlfriend's Instagram right now. Yeah, conversion
- 41:42Speaker 5: vans and just tells us all the ways we can
- 41:44Speaker 5: improve ours.
- 41:45Speaker 4: Yeah, that's fun. Though it's together.
- 41:47Speaker 3: It's not solar powered, is it? Electrical or no.
- 41:51Speaker 5: No, it's an older diesel van. But we've just a
- 41:54Speaker 5: solar panel on the roof that charges the external battery
- 41:58Speaker 5: which powers all of our electronics. Some stuff.
- 42:00Speaker 4: You should look.
- 42:01Speaker 3: I mean, I don't know if you're into it, but
- 42:03Speaker 3: look into there's this. Uh I just put a smoker
- 42:08Speaker 3: if you're into it. And uh it's a one that
- 42:12Speaker 3: can travel with you, and it folds up really nice
- 42:15Speaker 3: and small, and it plugs into your your electrical outlet
- 42:21Speaker 3: or socket and so when the cars on. Let me
- 42:24Speaker 3: tell you something right now, I've been smoking some meats, man,
- 42:27Speaker 3: but you can smoke other things. I'm gonna smoke other things.
- 42:33Speaker 3: You can smoke other things. You can smoke.
- 42:35Speaker 1: Vet, did I ever tell you that Donald goes to extremes?
- 42:37Speaker 1: He went from like a week of vegetarianism to buying
- 42:40Speaker 1: a smoke.
- 42:40Speaker 3: It was more than a week. It was more than
- 42:42Speaker 3: a week. It was a month and a half. Ken
- 42:45Speaker 3: the solar a month and a half. Respect that came, motherfucker,
- 42:49Speaker 3: Oh my god.
- 42:49Speaker 4: Not, I'm sorry. I'm sorry to see this. Billy. All right, Billy,
- 42:54Speaker 4: you have a question for us.
- 42:55Speaker 5: My friend, Yes, yes I do.
- 42:57Speaker 3: So.
- 42:58Speaker 5: My first question, uh, guess mainly for your Zach and
- 43:01Speaker 5: Joel since you guys just got new dogs. But Donald
- 43:05Speaker 5: and Danelle or Daniel please let me know if you
- 43:08Speaker 5: guys have dogs as well and care to answer. But
- 43:10Speaker 5: I love asking us to all my friends who have dogs.
- 43:14Speaker 5: What TV or movie character do you feel like best
- 43:17Speaker 5: represents your dog's personality and would you be willing to
- 43:22Speaker 5: pay a lot of money to have one of those
- 43:25Speaker 5: dog callers from the movie up to bring that personality
- 43:28Speaker 5: to life?
- 43:29Speaker 3: Wow?
- 43:33Speaker 1: Joelle, do you have an answer of the first of all, yes,
- 43:36Speaker 1: I would pay any amount of money to have my
- 43:37Speaker 1: dog talk to me because I love her more than anything,
- 43:40Speaker 1: and I would love to hear what she's thinking in
- 43:42Speaker 1: terms of who she is. I don't know, Joelle, you go,
- 43:43Speaker 1: I'm feeling it might be someone from Rebels.
- 43:46Speaker 6: It's actually character from being Mary Jane.
- 43:50Speaker 4: Wow.
- 43:51Speaker 6: But she's also kind of a mess.
- 43:53Speaker 1: Way to bring out my movie wife.
- 43:55Speaker 6: Yes, I love Gabby and yeah, you know Lion's she
- 44:00Speaker 6: just turned six months, so you know, she she's got
- 44:04Speaker 6: ten commands down, she's learning all the time.
- 44:06Speaker 3: She's so sweet.
- 44:07Speaker 6: We're getting so much better at the leash. But you know,
- 44:09Speaker 6: then there's times where she's also a mess, and she
- 44:11Speaker 6: can't stop running around and she's tripping people. And when
- 44:14Speaker 6: we meet dogs, she always wants to put her paw
- 44:16Speaker 6: on their face and I'm like, we don't have to,
- 44:18Speaker 6: you could just sniff it and like, you know, be gentle,
- 44:20Speaker 6: and she's like, I must leap onto everything. So she's
- 44:23Speaker 6: a bit of a mess, but she's also super intelligent
- 44:26Speaker 6: and getting there.
- 44:27Speaker 1: So you know, I'm also gonna choose a Gabby Union character,
- 44:31Speaker 1: but from Bring it On. Yeah, No, I think I
- 44:35Speaker 1: picture of my dog like Keimmy Schmidt. Okay, very wide eyed,
- 44:42Speaker 1: optimistic and silly, because my dog's very funny. Dogs have
- 44:47Speaker 1: a sense of humor. I'm sorry if you disagree, but
- 44:50Speaker 1: my dog is funny. She knows she's being funny, and
- 44:52Speaker 1: she does funny shit. She's in the UK right now.
- 44:57Speaker 1: I miss her. She's worldly my dog. All right, nice question,
- 45:01Speaker 1: my friend.
- 45:03Speaker 5: Yeah, so my next question is more specific. Two scrubs.
- 45:06Speaker 5: One of my favorite kind of scenes of any of
- 45:09Speaker 5: the episodes is one that you guys just recently covered,
- 45:12Speaker 5: but my Boss's free haircut at the end the speech
- 45:15Speaker 5: that doctor Kelsel gives whenever he kind of bursts to
- 45:19Speaker 5: the door and says nothing worth having. It comes easy.
- 45:24Speaker 5: It's something that I find myself always kind of watching
- 45:26Speaker 5: and whenever I need a little bit of a pick
- 45:27Speaker 5: me up, some inspiration, some motivation. My friend even sends
- 45:31Speaker 5: it to me late nights when he's drunk sometimes and
- 45:33Speaker 5: he knows I need to pick me up. So I
- 45:34Speaker 5: want to know, is there any particular TV or movie
- 45:38Speaker 5: scenes that you guys find over the inspirational motivational that
- 45:41Speaker 5: you'll watch anytime you guys need a little bit of
- 45:43Speaker 5: pick me up or a little bit of motivation throughout
- 45:45Speaker 5: your day.
- 45:46Speaker 4: That's a good question.
- 45:49Speaker 6: Yeah. At the end of the Whiz, Lena Horn sings
- 45:53Speaker 6: Believe in Yourself. You know, Horn is like the first
- 45:56Speaker 6: black star in Hollywood. This movie comes out in in
- 46:00Speaker 6: seventy eight, I think, and so this is like her
- 46:03Speaker 6: last hurrah and to get her as a fully realized performer,
- 46:08Speaker 6: because she had to go through a lot before she
- 46:09Speaker 6: was like fully on her feet singing a song that
- 46:12Speaker 6: very much sounds like everyone's grandmother, just being like, listen,
- 46:15Speaker 6: if you believe yourself, you can go out there, you
- 46:16Speaker 6: conquer anything. Oh oh, it just it touches the spirit,
- 46:20Speaker 6: It lifts you up. It's such a good feeling. It
- 46:22Speaker 6: really makes you feel like can conquer the world. And
- 46:24Speaker 6: I'll enjoy revisiting it.
- 46:26Speaker 1: Donald something from Star Wars, I imagine, maybe something that
- 46:29Speaker 1: Yoda says in a swamp.
- 46:33Speaker 4: It could it be.
- 46:34Speaker 3: Do or do not? There is no try. Yeah, that
- 46:38Speaker 3: is one of my favorite speeches that I'm not gonna
- 46:41Speaker 3: lie that one. And Obi wan Kenobi, well, the force
- 46:45Speaker 3: is what lets you say? Oh my god, this is
- 46:49Speaker 3: what guides us. Well, whatever he says in the beginning,
- 46:55Speaker 3: no no, no, no, no, let me say so when I
- 46:59Speaker 3: really think about it, one of the greatest speeches. There's
- 47:04Speaker 3: quite a few of them, but the one that comes
- 47:06Speaker 3: to mind is al Pacino in Any given Sunday his
- 47:10Speaker 3: speech at the end Yo, when he's talking to the players. Yes,
- 47:18Speaker 3: for some reason, that's one of those speeches, like you
- 47:21Speaker 3: could I know, al Patino in the big football guy
- 47:24Speaker 3: and you know he doesn't come across as a coach,
- 47:27Speaker 3: you know what I mean throughout this whole movie, you
- 47:30Speaker 3: know what I mean, but his conviction and when he's
- 47:34Speaker 3: talking to the players and telling them, you know, you
- 47:36Speaker 3: go that extra mile for every inch you you know,
- 47:40Speaker 3: when he really gets into it. It's one of the
- 47:44Speaker 3: most powerful speeches there is ever in cinema, and so
- 47:48Speaker 3: that's when I watch quite a bit. There are other ones.
- 47:53Speaker 1: I'm thinking. I mean, I happen to be looking at
- 47:55Speaker 1: my shashk Redemption movie poster, and so what came to
- 47:58Speaker 1: mind was like Morgan's end monologue of Shawshank and then
- 48:01Speaker 1: when I thought about it, I got goosebumps on my legs.
- 48:04Speaker 1: So I don't know if it's necessarily inspirational, but just
- 48:08Speaker 1: I remember that that monologue about when he finally gets
- 48:11Speaker 1: freedom and then he finally goes and meets Andy Dufrayne
- 48:14Speaker 1: on the beach.
- 48:16Speaker 4: Yeah, I don't know.
- 48:17Speaker 1: That's what came to my mind because I I did
- 48:19Speaker 1: a little bit of a uh, what's that?
- 48:22Speaker 4: What's that Kevin's Bacy movie where he walked.
- 48:24Speaker 1: I did the little usual suspects when I looked up
- 48:26Speaker 1: and saw the movie poster on my wall.
- 48:30Speaker 3: But it's it's not for me. It's never really uh,
- 48:33Speaker 3: it's never really I use al Pacino as an example.
- 48:38Speaker 3: It's never really the speech. It's always the music that
- 48:41Speaker 3: really takes you over the top. Yes, you know what
- 48:45Speaker 3: I mean. And so, uh, there are quite a few
- 48:49Speaker 3: moments in ET when ET's leaving, after Gerty says bye
- 48:53Speaker 3: to him, and uh and and you know he's he's
- 48:58Speaker 3: he's looking at Elliot and Ellie goes, you know, he
- 49:02Speaker 3: go says come and Ellie goes stay. All of that
- 49:05Speaker 3: then the music get bempn. That ship is fire and
- 49:17Speaker 3: that's always what grabs me. That's what I'm talking about.
- 49:26Speaker 1: All Right, Philly, it's time. Where are you?
- 49:29Speaker 5: We?
- 49:29Speaker 1: I forgot where you are.
- 49:31Speaker 5: I'm in We're in Washington right now.
- 49:33Speaker 1: It's time for people who live in Van's favorite segment, Donald,
- 49:37Speaker 1: It's time to fix you.
- 49:45Speaker 4: All right, It's all about you now. We're here to help.
- 49:48Speaker 5: Thank you all Uh yeah. My fixure life is surprisingly
- 49:52Speaker 5: about moving in with my girlfriend. Although we've been living
- 49:55Speaker 5: in a band together, we don't actually live together at home,
- 49:58Speaker 5: but we are planning on moving in together for the
- 50:00Speaker 5: first time we get back. I'm somebody who's definitely had
- 50:03Speaker 5: my fair share of commitment issues when it comes to
- 50:06Speaker 5: relationships from time to time, So I am freaking out
- 50:09Speaker 5: a little bit yeah about moving in, So just love
- 50:12Speaker 5: some advice about moving in with a significant other for
- 50:14Speaker 5: the first time, you know, we talk about it, how
- 50:17Speaker 5: we've done it in a van. But the kind of
- 50:18Speaker 5: advantage of being in a van is that we're always
- 50:20Speaker 5: traveling and seeing new places, and I think that kind
- 50:23Speaker 5: of energy may draw away from some of the tension
- 50:26Speaker 5: that we have of always spending time together. And it's
- 50:28Speaker 5: a little bit of a different story when you're sharing
- 50:29Speaker 5: a house for the first time. So yeah, we'd love
- 50:32Speaker 5: your guys advice on kind of how to make that
- 50:34Speaker 5: work and kind of how to get over that anxiety
- 50:36Speaker 5: of the commitment of moving in with somebody.
- 50:38Speaker 1: Well, both Donald and I have both moved in and
- 50:40Speaker 1: out with several women.
- 50:43Speaker 3: Yes, it's true, this is true.
- 50:47Speaker 1: Keep the boxes.
- 50:48Speaker 4: I'm just kidding.
- 50:50Speaker 7: No, that's good advice. That's good advice for a different
- 50:54Speaker 7: reason entirely. But you know, after you guys get your answers,
- 50:57Speaker 7: I have my own answer for this, the funny answer.
- 51:00Speaker 3: Because I'm moving out because spoiler alert, Billy, that's a
- 51:05Speaker 3: that's a perfect segue into what you're saying. It's not
- 51:09Speaker 3: like you're getting married, you're just moving in together.
- 51:11Speaker 4: Right, Keep the boxes A and B. I think.
- 51:18Speaker 1: Just fold them up, put them in the garage behind
- 51:20Speaker 1: some cans. I think one of the smartest things you
- 51:25Speaker 1: can do. You mentioned how so it won't be a
- 51:26Speaker 1: tiny apartment, right, that's right. Yeah, is if you each
- 51:30Speaker 1: have your own room that is not to say bedroom,
- 51:33Speaker 1: you have your you share a bedroom. But if you
- 51:35Speaker 1: have the space to each have a quote unquote office
- 51:40Speaker 1: or her hangout room, and you have your man cave
- 51:43Speaker 1: or whatever it is, I think a space that's not
- 51:46Speaker 1: the bedroom, that you can each call your own. Again,
- 51:50Speaker 1: if you have the square footage is really really healthy
- 51:54Speaker 1: because sometimes you just want to be on alone and
- 51:59Speaker 1: the share bedroom isn't the right spot, you know, obviously
- 52:03Speaker 1: because you can both be in there. Sometimes you just
- 52:05Speaker 1: kind of miss having your own bedroom and you don't
- 52:08Speaker 1: really have that in a in a relationship. So if
- 52:12Speaker 1: you have the square footage, I think being able to
- 52:14Speaker 1: say like, okay, that's you know, that's your office, that's
- 52:18Speaker 1: your room, this is my area, you know, I think
- 52:21Speaker 1: to be able to sort of retreat to your own space,
- 52:23Speaker 1: and if the person's messier than you, they can keep
- 52:25Speaker 1: that room however the hell they want. So they have
- 52:27Speaker 1: they have ace. You each have your a space that
- 52:30Speaker 1: you can kind of claim is your your corner if
- 52:32Speaker 1: you will donald your thoughts.
- 52:38Speaker 3: Yeah, I mean, sure, that's one way to do it.
- 52:42Speaker 3: Another way to do it is to not worry about it.
- 52:46Speaker 3: If you guys want to live together, live together. If
- 52:49Speaker 3: you really don't want to live with her, you know
- 52:51Speaker 3: right away when she says, let's do it, and you
- 52:53Speaker 3: say to yourself, no, I don't want to do it.
- 52:56Speaker 3: You know, if you want to do it or not,
- 52:58Speaker 3: all of that sheff is bull crap. What it's like,
- 53:00Speaker 3: I'm so hesitant because I don't know, you know, you
- 53:03Speaker 3: want to do it.
- 53:03Speaker 1: Or well, it's one you can have anxiety about it
- 53:06Speaker 1: and then but but anxiety can be managed.
- 53:09Speaker 4: Can can also be excitement.
- 53:11Speaker 3: You know.
- 53:11Speaker 1: It's somewhere between that I'm excited about it, but I'm
- 53:14Speaker 1: nervous about it. I think it's legitimate to feel all
- 53:16Speaker 1: those feelings.
- 53:17Speaker 3: I knew for a fact that I wanted to move
- 53:19Speaker 3: in with my wife. I knew it.
- 53:22Speaker 1: But when she moved in and started taking out all
- 53:25Speaker 1: like throwing all your legos away and saying these are.
- 53:27Speaker 3: Not my lego away. Okay, when she came there's no
- 53:31Speaker 3: such thing as legos.
- 53:32Speaker 1: It's legom to calm down, calm down, Okay, here you go,
- 53:37Speaker 1: here you go, Calm down, did when she came in
- 53:42Speaker 1: and said, these legos gotta get off the dining room table,
- 53:46Speaker 1: and these arcade games gotta go, and this poker table
- 53:49Speaker 1: is getting the fuck out of here. Did you have
- 53:50Speaker 1: any thoughts of like, oh no.
- 53:53Speaker 3: No, it's what I wanted. I was ready for that,
- 53:57Speaker 3: you know what I mean. I knew that that's what
- 53:59Speaker 3: I want it. Do I miss the video games? Do
- 54:03Speaker 3: I miss the lego? Do I miss the poker table? Yes,
- 54:09Speaker 3: yes I do. But I love my wife and kids.
- 54:13Speaker 4: Yes, Oh no, don't go get up.
- 54:15Speaker 1: This is the level you want to get to, Billy
- 54:17Speaker 1: being so pee whipped that you can't leave your wife
- 54:20Speaker 1: for a simple podcast.
- 54:22Speaker 6: Well, I know, Dane just moved in with his lady.
- 54:25Speaker 1: Yeah I have.
- 54:26Speaker 4: I have some advice for you. Let's say, are you
- 54:28Speaker 4: guys furnishing an entire place so you.
- 54:31Speaker 5: Have Yeah, we're lucky. Her mom actually has a place
- 54:35Speaker 5: of renting from her mom, so it's already furnished. So yeah,
- 54:38Speaker 5: so it's a good situation for that.
- 54:40Speaker 4: Well, I was.
- 54:41Speaker 7: My main advice is going to be when you move
- 54:43Speaker 7: in together, take the first month to set up everything,
- 54:46Speaker 7: Like if it means you're putting off every plan, that
- 54:48Speaker 7: you're going to have, Like, just set up everything in
- 54:51Speaker 7: the first month so you don't leave anything hanging around.
- 54:54Speaker 7: Like we're dealing with a dresser that we ordered months
- 54:57Speaker 7: ago that was back order that we finally got that
- 55:00Speaker 7: we don't like that we're now returning. We are still
- 55:03Speaker 7: without a fucking dresser to put our clothes in. And
- 55:05Speaker 7: it sucks and it's like a piece of tension because
- 55:09Speaker 7: we don't have this one thing covered. And it's not
- 55:10Speaker 7: because we didn't handle it. It's because everything was back
- 55:13Speaker 7: order then we got it and it wasn't what we wanted,
- 55:15Speaker 7: et cetera.
- 55:16Speaker 4: Blah blah blah. Like there's a lot of things to
- 55:17Speaker 4: get in the way.
- 55:18Speaker 7: But if you can do everything you can to set
- 55:20Speaker 7: up everything in your house in the first month, you
- 55:22Speaker 7: will be so much happier. You won't have let anything
- 55:25Speaker 7: hang on. There won't be this like lingering tension about
- 55:27Speaker 7: you want to get this thing done or that thing done.
- 55:29Speaker 7: Just set everything up in the first month. Just get
- 55:31Speaker 7: it all done as fast as you possibly can so
- 55:33Speaker 7: you can continue living your life.
- 55:35Speaker 3: And what about the boxes. You said you were going
- 55:37Speaker 3: to say some about boxes.
- 55:38Speaker 4: Keep the boxes.
- 55:38Speaker 7: The reason that I'm saying keep the boxes is not
- 55:40Speaker 7: so that you can move out quickly. It's so that
- 55:42Speaker 7: in case you don't like something, you can return it.
- 55:45Speaker 7: You still have the original box, because a lot of
- 55:47Speaker 7: these furniture companies are gonna nickel and dime you about
- 55:50Speaker 7: stuff like, oh, well, it's not returned to the original box,
- 55:52Speaker 7: and like you'll get something with White Glove Delivery and
- 55:55Speaker 7: they'll take the boxes and you'll be like, oh great,
- 55:56Speaker 7: they threw away the trash.
- 55:57Speaker 4: But then the return.
- 55:58Speaker 7: Policy is so specific about how you have to return
- 56:00Speaker 7: the thing in the original box. Even though our White
- 56:03Speaker 7: Glove Delivery service took the fucking boxes away.
- 56:06Speaker 1: We found a raw nerve. We found a rotten nerve
- 56:08Speaker 1: with Danie. Now, Billy, I have an idea and exercise
- 56:13Speaker 1: you could do when you're in your van together pooping
- 56:16Speaker 1: in a bucket. You could turn to her and say, honey, no,
- 56:22Speaker 1: I'm being serious. You could say, hey, let's talk about
- 56:25Speaker 1: things that are pet peeves of yours before we moving together.
- 56:29Speaker 1: That are little things like, you know, whatever the stereotypic
- 56:32Speaker 1: toilet seed or the way that the toilet paper should
- 56:35Speaker 1: go over not under, or or any little minutia. What
- 56:38Speaker 1: are things my darling sweetheart.
- 56:41Speaker 3: Whom I love so much, condescending.
- 56:44Speaker 1: I'm adding the twist on it. Billy will say it
- 56:46Speaker 1: much kinder. What are things that that when you lived
- 56:50Speaker 1: with a roommate, whether it was a part of lover
- 56:53Speaker 1: or a friend, that that have irked you before?
- 56:56Speaker 3: And I don't want to do those things right?
- 56:58Speaker 1: And then she can have her turn. You can make
- 57:00Speaker 1: it funny, you guys can joke about it and make
- 57:02Speaker 1: make a list. But I think going into it being like,
- 57:05Speaker 1: I had no idea that you really fucking hate it
- 57:08Speaker 1: when anyone leaves, you know, whatever the dishes in the sink.
- 57:12Speaker 4: Whatever whatever it is.
- 57:14Speaker 1: And then and then then you then you get like
- 57:16Speaker 1: maybe ten things out of the way. It's like you're
- 57:18Speaker 1: clear on on on those things.
- 57:20Speaker 5: Yeah, I jerked with her because I'm very messy that
- 57:23Speaker 5: she's gonna have to get me a shot collar and
- 57:25Speaker 5: every single time somebody she's just gonna have to buzz me.
- 57:28Speaker 5: Until I was finally trained into cleaning up after myself
- 57:31Speaker 5: and not being so messy that.
- 57:33Speaker 3: Would make me want to move in with you right away,
- 57:35Speaker 3: I could do. I get to electrically, I get to
- 57:37Speaker 3: shock you electrically every time you do something I don't like, yeah,
- 57:41Speaker 3: I'm moving in, or maybe just just no.
- 57:44Speaker 1: Going into it. You can't be messy or it's going
- 57:46Speaker 1: to be a friction. So just like you get, you
- 57:48Speaker 1: know you have to you have to take on cohabitation
- 57:51Speaker 1: with knowing you're going to make some you know, what's
- 57:56Speaker 1: the word.
- 57:58Speaker 4: Compromis.
- 58:00Speaker 1: You're gonna make some compromises. You know you don't want
- 58:02Speaker 1: to if you want it to go well. I feel
- 58:04Speaker 1: like couples often argue by stuff it's so trivial just
- 58:06Speaker 1: because they never really worked it out, and then they
- 58:08Speaker 1: don't want to say anything because let's like, let's not
- 58:10Speaker 1: sweat the small stuff. But then it builds and you
- 58:12Speaker 1: become resentful and you're like, motherfucker, James that roll.
- 58:16Speaker 4: I have a sticker.
- 58:17Speaker 7: I have a post a note on my computer that
- 58:19Speaker 7: says stop yelling because sometimes not yell, but I get
- 58:24Speaker 7: I definitely vocalize my video game frustration yelling at her.
- 58:29Speaker 1: I thought you yell at her. People posted saying don't
- 58:31Speaker 1: you yell?
- 58:32Speaker 4: WHOA absolutely not my kid?
- 58:35Speaker 3: And you might have a lot of do you do
- 58:36Speaker 3: a lot of this, Daniel.
- 58:39Speaker 4: No, No, it's not like that.
- 58:40Speaker 7: It's do you do a lot of it's not it's
- 58:43Speaker 7: not raging as much as it is like very excitedly
- 58:46Speaker 7: yelling about things that are about to happen.
- 58:48Speaker 1: I thought, no, no, no, no, it's more like the
- 58:55Speaker 1: magic potion work.
- 58:58Speaker 7: If you saw, if you saw a D and D
- 59:00Speaker 7: stream from a couple of days ago, you would know
- 59:02Speaker 7: that anytime we get caught by a trap or something,
- 59:04Speaker 7: my character gets very upset.
- 59:07Speaker 1: You've walked into a trap again?
- 59:09Speaker 3: What were you thinking?
- 59:10Speaker 4: Anyway?
- 59:11Speaker 1: Is your character British Channel.
- 59:12Speaker 7: Yeah yeah, Grth Clanley, he's a bard, halfling Bard.
- 59:16Speaker 1: Okay, wait, wait, one more question. Is this a video
- 59:18Speaker 1: game or you're playing the board game D and D.
- 59:20Speaker 7: We're playing the board game D and D, but we
- 59:22Speaker 7: play with what's called a virtual tabletop where it all
- 59:24Speaker 7: takes place in the computer. So we're all on zoom
- 59:26Speaker 7: to Wow.
- 59:28Speaker 6: That's how we got through the quarantine.
- 59:30Speaker 3: Now, that's how you got through the quarantine virtual tabletops. Yes,
- 59:35Speaker 3: it's great Wednesday.
- 59:40Speaker 4: Welcome Billy, You're welcome.
- 59:42Speaker 1: And hey, Billy, if you're ever in sell the California,
- 59:45Speaker 1: I have a couch for you when things don't.
- 59:46Speaker 5: Work out, thank you. Yeah, yeah, I might need that.
- 59:49Speaker 1: Just drive over, you don't have to poop in a
- 59:50Speaker 1: bucket and you can just stay on my couch.
- 59:53Speaker 5: Okay, that would be a relief, and I'll like pooping
- 59:55Speaker 5: in buckets.
- 1:00:00Speaker 3: All kidding aside. You know, if you guys are willing
- 1:00:04Speaker 3: to live in a van together and go through this,
- 1:00:06Speaker 3: I have a feeling you'll do great in a house,
- 1:00:09Speaker 3: you know what I mean.
- 1:00:10Speaker 5: I agree, Yeah, I'm hopeful, And Daniel, I think you're
- 1:00:14Speaker 5: right with getting everything set up beforehand. One thing we
- 1:00:16Speaker 5: learned about living in a van is that minor annoyances
- 1:00:19Speaker 5: become big annoyances over time, and so eliminating those it
- 1:00:23Speaker 5: makes life a lot easier. So I think that's a
- 1:00:25Speaker 5: great one.
- 1:00:26Speaker 1: And you're my listening, I'm telling you it's gonna be good.
- 1:00:29Speaker 4: Billy.
- 1:00:29Speaker 1: Yeah, say, honey, darling, what are some things that really
- 1:00:33Speaker 1: annoy you about cohabitating with someone?
- 1:00:36Speaker 5: Yeah, I'll have it right that right now.
- 1:00:37Speaker 1: And then you do yours, and then you could like
- 1:00:39Speaker 1: make it funny. Do it over drink.
- 1:00:41Speaker 3: Would be hilarious. If it's like if it turns out
- 1:00:43Speaker 3: to be like Elliott in this episode, where we're like
- 1:00:47Speaker 3: right away within four minutes of her telling him what
- 1:00:51Speaker 3: pisses her off. He's like, I can't live with this woman.
- 1:00:55Speaker 4: Yeah no.
- 1:00:56Speaker 1: And in the in the episode, in the episode because
- 1:00:59Speaker 1: of real sexual sexual.
- 1:01:01Speaker 5: Fantasy, Oh yes with the new boyfriend.
- 1:01:05Speaker 1: Yes, he tells her, and he tells her in private,
- 1:01:07Speaker 1: and five minutes later she's like, what the fuck and
- 1:01:11Speaker 1: they've breaked up cut of it, and we never ever
- 1:01:13Speaker 1: learned what he said. We never know what his twisted
- 1:01:17Speaker 1: fantasy was. All right, Billy, good luck and thanks for
- 1:01:20Speaker 1: coming on and the dude we did.
- 1:01:23Speaker 5: Yeah, you guys help and hey, before I go, just
- 1:01:26Speaker 5: got to say thank you for let you know the
- 1:01:28Speaker 5: impact that Scrubs had in my life. Told Joe all this,
- 1:01:32Speaker 5: But when I was twenty years old, I was diagnosed
- 1:01:34Speaker 5: with a pretty serious heart condition, actually a heart condition
- 1:01:37Speaker 5: that the I learned the real jd UH actually treats
- 1:01:40Speaker 5: in its current practice, So that was kind of a
- 1:01:42Speaker 5: fun fact.
- 1:01:43Speaker 3: Wow.
- 1:01:43Speaker 5: But I spent the next couple of years in and
- 1:01:45Speaker 5: out of hospitals a lot, even having heart surgery when
- 1:01:48Speaker 5: I was twenty four. And one thing that always helped
- 1:01:50Speaker 5: me through every time I'd have to go to the
- 1:01:52Speaker 5: hospital or a doctor, because I felt, you know, pretty
- 1:01:54Speaker 5: scared and nervous. Is that I would always just imagine
- 1:01:57Speaker 5: that I was on an episode of Scrubs, and it
- 1:01:58Speaker 5: woul always make me feel that I was a little
- 1:02:00Speaker 5: bit better, and I was always just waiting for, you know,
- 1:02:04Speaker 5: doctor Dorian or doctor Church to come around the corner
- 1:02:07Speaker 5: and tell me everything was going to be all right.
- 1:02:08Speaker 5: So thank you guys so much for everything you're doing.
- 1:02:13Speaker 1: You're very sweet and I'm so happy that you're okay now.
- 1:02:16Speaker 1: You look fantastic.
- 1:02:18Speaker 5: Yeah, doing great. So thank you guys so much.
- 1:02:20Speaker 1: Our pleasure to thanks for coming on. Brother, Thank you
- 1:02:22Speaker 1: so much. All right, have it go on, all right, guys,
- 1:02:25Speaker 1: and that's our show. I think we did it donald right.
- 1:02:28Speaker 3: I'm pretty sure we did it all right. That was
- 1:02:32Speaker 3: really cool, man. You know, it's always great to hear
- 1:02:34Speaker 3: from fans and listeners. You know, I have comfort that
- 1:02:42Speaker 3: I turned to when I'm down and out and stuff
- 1:02:45Speaker 3: like that, and it's really cool to be a part
- 1:02:47Speaker 3: of something that so many people use as a as
- 1:02:50Speaker 3: a as a comfort.
- 1:02:51Speaker 4: That's so true.
- 1:02:52Speaker 1: We hear that all the time, and every time I
- 1:02:54Speaker 1: hear it brings a giant smile on my face. That
- 1:02:56Speaker 1: that we brought anyone any amount of comfort. All right,
- 1:03:02Speaker 1: we love you and we hope you're happy. We hope
- 1:03:04Speaker 1: this finds you smiling, and we'll see you next time.
- 1:03:09Speaker 2: Stories that show we made about a bunch of talks
- 1:03:15Speaker 2: and nurses in the canal. I said, here's the story next.
- 1:03:20Speaker 5: All s no, so gander rab you here yetherer rab
- 1:03:27Speaker 3: Here are shows and no m
