- 3:03Speaker 2: all about?
- 3:04Speaker 3: Saturday night shows up with a gray shirt? I know, right? Oh,
- 3:09Speaker 3: I bought a sweater but it didn't look good on me,
- 3:12Speaker 3: so I just wore this. Is that what he said? Yeah? Yeah, see,
- 3:17Speaker 3: I mean what's up with that? Yeah? He should have
- 3:20Speaker 3: just done it. Everybody had something granch Yeah I know. Man. Oh,
- 3:26Speaker 3: I'm gonna talk about that a little bit. Hey, Merry
- 3:28Speaker 3: Christmas everybody. These are my moms. Do I get to
- 3:34Speaker 3: jingle your bells later? I've been waiting a long time.
- 3:37Speaker 3: If you want to, I think I do. You have
- 3:41Speaker 3: said to me that you've always wanted to jingle my belts? Yeah, yeah,
- 3:44Speaker 3: and it would be a great present for you anyway.
- 3:50Speaker 2: These are my mom's antique Christmas bells and I always
- 3:56Speaker 2: bring him on right around Christmas time, show them and
- 4:02Speaker 2: jingle them like rest. He does too loud, Yeah, Stacey says,
- 4:10Speaker 2: was it a Was it a white sweater with a
- 4:13Speaker 2: black dicky? No, just didn't fit them. You know, we
- 4:20Speaker 2: haven't watched Christmas Vacation yet. Now we might watch it tonight.
- 4:25Speaker 3: I don't know. We'll see what happens. Else, we'll see
- 4:26Speaker 3: what happens. Yeah.
- 4:27Speaker 2: One of my favorite movies. Uh, it is Tuesday. It's
- 4:30Speaker 2: five dollars Tuesdays. Back to the Capitol Theater. Skip the line.
- 4:33Speaker 2: Grab you tickets now FGB Theaters dot com. Make sure
- 4:36Speaker 2: you follow them on uh on Facebook and Instagram for
- 4:40Speaker 2: added showtimes and special events. They often Please keep watch
- 4:45Speaker 2: at FGB Theaters dot com for added showtimes because they
- 4:48Speaker 2: often will add showtimes, especially during Christmas, and especially when
- 4:56Speaker 2: they know that the kids are out of school, right
- 4:58Speaker 2: and they know the weather's not that'll ad showtimes, so
- 5:03Speaker 2: things do change. Keep a watch, but yeah, five dollars Tuesdays.
- 5:09Speaker 2: Get over to the Capital Weather from NBC five this
- 5:18Speaker 2: morning the morning commute. No weather related impacts expected for
- 5:26Speaker 2: the most part. All right, this is what I have
- 5:29Speaker 2: directly from their page. Snow is going to be arriving
- 5:32Speaker 2: southwest to northeast from mid morning to early afternoon, beginning
- 5:37Speaker 2: first in southern Vermont and northern New York. A late
- 5:42Speaker 2: morning arrival is likely in the Champlain Valley through the
- 5:45Speaker 2: Connecticut River Valley, followed by the Northeast Kingdom in the
- 5:49Speaker 2: early afternoon. Steady snow continues region wide through this evening,
- 5:57Speaker 2: becoming focused and I'm getting this, that's right, becoming focused
- 6:02Speaker 2: along the mountain spines overnight into early tomorrow morning. Lingering
- 6:07Speaker 2: snow showers possible in the wide valleys during the morning
- 6:12Speaker 2: commute tomorrow. Okay, so that would be the Champlain Valley
- 6:17Speaker 2: and that would be the Connecticut River Valley. Mountain snow
- 6:22Speaker 2: showers going to be tapering throughout the day on Wednesday.
- 6:26Speaker 2: Light to moderate Tuesday snow today. Widespread slippery travel expected,
- 6:32Speaker 2: especially during the evening commute. So there we have it.
- 6:38Speaker 2: As of this morning. We just got some new information.
- 6:41Speaker 2: It's just come in from NBC five. I don't think
- 6:43Speaker 2: it's anything too shocking here. Winter weather advisories now advisories, yeah,
- 6:51Speaker 2: have been issued by the National Weather Service for the
- 6:53Speaker 2: higher elevations of northern New York and Vermont, where the
- 6:57Speaker 2: highest overall totals are expected. Alerts remain in effect through
- 7:01Speaker 2: Wednesday morning. A widespread two to four inches of snow
- 7:06Speaker 2: going to be falling by Wednesday morning, higher amounts above
- 7:09Speaker 2: a thousand feet. There are plenty of people listening right now. Gee, yeah,
- 7:14Speaker 2: who are like, and I know you're probably one of
- 7:17Speaker 2: them who are.
- 7:18Speaker 3: Like, my god, it's just two to four inches, yeah,
- 7:24Speaker 3: get over it. Yeah yeah. And it's probably gonna be
- 7:29Speaker 3: the light snow, so it's not like you have to
- 7:31Speaker 3: slush it up and pick it up or anything major.
- 7:34Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, it's you know, a little bit of slick travel.
- 7:37Speaker 2: I know for those of you that are out doing
- 7:40Speaker 2: last minute who.
- 7:41Speaker 3: Are working, there's still people that are working on Christmas
- 7:44Speaker 3: Eve Christmas Day.
- 7:46Speaker 2: So yeah, let's let's take a minute and throw some
- 7:49Speaker 2: love at those folks. Yeah, okay, absolutely, there are so
- 7:55Speaker 2: many people that do not are not allowed the opportunity
- 8:03Speaker 2: the gift, frankly, of being home and cozy with their
- 8:08Speaker 2: families on Christmas, and if they are allowed a couple
- 8:13Speaker 2: of hours to do that, frankly, they're exhausted. We're talking
- 8:17Speaker 2: about doctors and nurses, l and as, everyone who's working
- 8:22Speaker 2: in the nursing homes, fire and police, anything public safety related.
- 8:30Speaker 2: Uh who else?
- 8:32Speaker 3: Who else?
- 8:33Speaker 2: All hospital workers, all of them. Yeah, from the kitchen
- 8:38Speaker 2: to maintenance.
- 8:40Speaker 3: Yep, to.
- 8:41Speaker 2: Still gotta go housekeeping? Who else?
- 8:46Speaker 3: Who else?
- 8:46Speaker 2: Might forget help me out, Dottie, where are you, Tammy? Crystal?
- 8:50Speaker 2: Who else?
- 8:53Speaker 3: We said?
- 8:53Speaker 2: Police and fire, E M T s.
- 8:57Speaker 3: Just anybody working on Chris and stay. They are convenience
- 9:01Speaker 3: store people that are working. That's because people need their
- 9:04Speaker 3: gas and if they're going on a trip, they need
- 9:06Speaker 3: their coffee and stuff. So there's a lot of people
- 9:09Speaker 3: that work on Christmas Day to keep life moving. Yes,
- 9:14Speaker 3: because a lot of people don't celebrate Christmas. A lot
- 9:17Speaker 3: of people don't do anything, you know, sure, so they've
- 9:21Speaker 3: got to keep things going, sure, Stacy just says dairy
- 9:26Speaker 3: farmers and military. Yeah, oh, military, Yes, a lot of military.
- 9:31Speaker 3: They don't get to go home for Christmas. They're out
- 9:34Speaker 3: in the field practicing, they're shooting and their drills and stuff.
- 9:39Speaker 3: In the event that something happens. Yeah, you never know,
- 9:42Speaker 3: without president, anything can happen at anytime, so they're constantly, constantly.
- 9:48Speaker 2: Retail workers says Crystal.
- 9:51Speaker 3: Yeah, well it's not a lot of retail workers that
- 9:53Speaker 3: work on Christmas. Most stores are closed. But the ones
- 9:58Speaker 3: that are open, you know, or the businesses like I said,
- 10:01Speaker 3: the convenience stores and the gas station attendants and you
- 10:05Speaker 3: know things like that, that they were hard and they
- 10:11Speaker 3: have to do it to keep life moving because Christmas,
- 10:14Speaker 3: the world doesn't stop.
- 10:15Speaker 2: Doesn't stop now exactly, Becky says, please remember our troops
- 10:19Speaker 2: not coming home Christmas, yep, of which there have been
- 10:25Speaker 2: several Christmases where your son was not able to was
- 10:31Speaker 2: not home, was not home for Christmas. Who was in
- 10:34Speaker 2: the Special Forces, and furthermore, you didn't even know where
- 10:39Speaker 2: the hell he was.
- 10:40Speaker 3: Yeah, there were times he would say to me, you know, Dad,
- 10:43Speaker 3: I'm going I'm going on vacation. I was like, oh,
- 10:45Speaker 3: where you're going. I can't tell you that. Well, what
- 10:48Speaker 3: are you going to be doing? That's not up for discussion.
- 10:51Speaker 3: And then I knew he was not going to be
- 10:53Speaker 3: back for whatever. And like I always said to my
- 10:56Speaker 3: husband that the big question was am I going to
- 11:00Speaker 3: get a phone call from him saying I'm back? Or
- 11:03Speaker 3: am I going to get visitors at the door, right,
- 11:06Speaker 3: you know?
- 11:06Speaker 2: And that was very, very difficult. So you've you can
- 11:11Speaker 2: certainly relate. You've had many Christmas Eves and Christmas Days
- 11:16Speaker 2: where you have you have felt like.
- 11:18Speaker 3: This, Yes, so yeah, And it's funny all the Christmas
- 11:23Speaker 3: music each year, Yeah, you know, she's coming home, or
- 11:28Speaker 3: you know, I want to be home for Christmas all that.
- 11:31Speaker 3: I always listened to it, and I was like, Gosh,
- 11:33Speaker 3: I wish he'd be home. Gosh, I wish he'd be home.
- 11:36Speaker 3: So then I ended up. You know, this year, I
- 11:38Speaker 3: sent him to the lyrics from Trans Siberian coming Home,
- 11:43Speaker 3: and I sent to him just as like, what would
- 11:47Speaker 3: you say a little subtle hint that I really would
- 11:50Speaker 3: love to see him now that he's out of the
- 11:52Speaker 3: military and he's down in North Carolina where he was
- 11:54Speaker 3: based originally. So I sent those lyrics to him, and
- 11:59Speaker 3: two day before the party, he came home to be
- 12:02Speaker 3: there for the party, just to surprise the shit out
- 12:05Speaker 3: him me, and I was so thrilled. I mean, when
- 12:07Speaker 3: I hugged him, he probably was like, all right, Dad,
- 12:09Speaker 3: you know, let me go. Yeah, But yeah, it was
- 12:12Speaker 3: nice because he came home. He spent the nineteenth showing
- 12:17Speaker 3: his beautiful girl around Barry and Vermont, and then the
- 12:21Speaker 3: twentieth he was here for the party that night, and
- 12:24Speaker 3: then he left on the twenty first. He just came
- 12:27Speaker 3: in for the party to surprise me, which was wonderful.
- 12:31Speaker 2: And he's down in Raleigh, North He's.
- 12:34Speaker 3: Down he lives in Raleigh, and he has an excellent job,
- 12:37Speaker 3: and he's dating this beautiful woman who's just she's Ecuadorian,
- 12:42Speaker 3: but she you'd never know it, you know, but she's
- 12:45Speaker 3: really really smart, and I've seen a lot of change
- 12:49Speaker 3: in him because of things she's done and helped them with.
- 12:53Speaker 3: So yeah, so they both came down there down in Raleigh.
- 12:57Speaker 3: She has a great job. He has a great job.
- 13:00Speaker 3: So they're good.
- 13:01Speaker 2: It's wonderful. Uh, what a what a Christmas gift? And frankly,
- 13:07Speaker 2: and let's just let's just say it like it is.
- 13:10Speaker 2: Literally on Christmas Day, if you didn't have a single
- 13:16Speaker 2: damn thing under the tree, it really, I don't think
- 13:18Speaker 2: would matter because you've already received your Christmas gift.
- 13:22Speaker 3: And the thing is, then they even got gifts for
- 13:25Speaker 3: Jed and I and Uncle Michael. So I was like, wow,
- 13:29Speaker 3: all I expected was to see you. I didn't expect
- 13:32Speaker 3: to see gifts. So you know, they really they went
- 13:35Speaker 3: all out.
- 13:36Speaker 2: And to think that they would go as far as
- 13:41Speaker 2: Uncle Michael, Yeah, yeah, I mean that's really something else.
- 13:48Speaker 2: Yeah yeah, I'm just joking.
- 13:50Speaker 3: I know, I know, but you know, I mean Michaels, Michael,
- 13:54Speaker 3: Michael's Michael and God God love him. Yeah, but Masmo
- 13:58Speaker 3: never forgets any family. He's very family oriented.
- 14:05Speaker 2: So yeah, Moss and I, uh and Chuck who was
- 14:10Speaker 2: at the party Saturday, had an opportunity to go outside
- 14:14Speaker 2: in the back deck and smoke on a a beautiful
- 14:19Speaker 2: Cuban cigar for a little while. Is that what you
- 14:22Speaker 2: call that that was just such a nice experience. It
- 14:25Speaker 2: really was. And Moss said some uh, some really profound
- 14:31Speaker 2: things to me on Saturday.
- 14:32Speaker 3: Yeah, he's pretty uh pretty smart. I mean he he uh.
- 14:38Speaker 3: I don't know, I was. I wasn't expecting that he
- 14:40Speaker 3: complimented you on your heart and the way you treat
- 14:43Speaker 3: people and how much you care you You overheard that.
- 14:48Speaker 3: I overheard that part. Yeah, okay.
- 14:50Speaker 2: And then I heard him say something about me, but
- 14:52Speaker 2: I don't know, I'm paying attention. It was a wonderful
- 14:57Speaker 2: experience Saturday at your house. This party was it was
- 15:02Speaker 2: just it was beautiful. It was wonderful. I'm just thinking
- 15:06Speaker 2: now about the spread of food, which I'm going to
- 15:11Speaker 2: have to try to find it and pull it up
- 15:13Speaker 2: to share it.
- 15:14Speaker 3: But it had a lot of food.
- 15:16Speaker 2: The food was your house was decked out like something
- 15:21Speaker 2: out of a movie.
- 15:22Speaker 3: Wow.
- 15:23Speaker 2: And the food, the spread, the catering that that Stephanie
- 15:27Speaker 2: did yeah wow.
- 15:30Speaker 3: Yeah. I mean Stephanie and I anytime I have an event,
- 15:34Speaker 3: anytime I have an event, I always contact Stephanie and
- 15:38Speaker 3: I say, hey, I want to give me a hand yeah,
- 15:43Speaker 3: and then I give her a list. And so she
- 15:46Speaker 3: had her list of foods and things she had to do.
- 15:48Speaker 3: And I had my lists as far as shopping and
- 15:52Speaker 3: you know, doing the decorating and also making my foods. Yeah.
- 15:57Speaker 2: So we had yeah, can we and we remember we
- 16:01Speaker 2: had a yule log that well, yeah, the desserts.
- 16:04Speaker 3: We had a eulog that Jed made, Oh my god,
- 16:07Speaker 3: and it was it wasn't just a eulog. I mean
- 16:10Speaker 3: he put the he made it look like bark on
- 16:13Speaker 3: it and he had the angle on it, and you
- 16:16Speaker 3: know it was really nice in the chocolate outer. It
- 16:20Speaker 3: looked like the bark of the Yes, incredible. Yeah.
- 16:24Speaker 2: Then we had a punch bowl that was absolutely gorgeous.
- 16:29Speaker 3: Oh my god.
- 16:30Speaker 2: Everybody drank the punch except me. I got into the
- 16:34Speaker 2: punch three three times, I think. Yeah, a cranberry punch.
- 16:40Speaker 2: There may or may not have been cranberry vodka in it.
- 16:43Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 16:44Speaker 3: There was a lot of vodka in it. I know. Tracy,
- 16:47Speaker 3: my neighbor, was she was like three in or something.
- 16:50Speaker 3: And Tracy has this rule that if she starts puckering,
- 16:54Speaker 3: if she's like that means she can't feel her lips.
- 16:58Speaker 3: Oh stop no, which means that she's drank too much.
- 17:03Speaker 3: And about an hour and I was like, Trace, how
- 17:06Speaker 3: are we doing over there? And She's like I was like, okay,
- 17:09Speaker 3: take the liquor away from Tracy. Yeah. Yeah, but yeah
- 17:14Speaker 3: we had that. We had the Gingerbread House, the gingerbreads,
- 17:17Speaker 3: yeah that Tracy made that. And then she made gingerbread
- 17:21Speaker 3: whoopie pies amazing, which was so good. Oh yeah, we
- 17:25Speaker 3: had Christmas cookies. We had my cheesecake cupcakes unreal, which
- 17:30Speaker 3: you know how many of those I put down? Yeah?
- 17:32Speaker 3: A lot? Those so good?
- 17:34Speaker 2: Three and you sent me home with some.
- 17:36Speaker 3: Yeah. And then we had terrama Zoo, big slices of terramazou. Yeah.
- 17:43Speaker 3: And then we have don't forget. We had the Grinch
- 17:45Speaker 3: fruit platter, which was the platter from the Grinch. It
- 17:50Speaker 3: was all fruit, but it was made it looked like
- 17:53Speaker 3: the Grinch.
- 17:54Speaker 2: Keep going, I'm trying to pull up the video. And
- 17:57Speaker 2: then we had for food what do we have?
- 17:59Speaker 3: We had a miso salad, We had egg plant parmesan,
- 18:04Speaker 3: We had baked zd We had a whole bunch of recruiments, olives, nuts,
- 18:13Speaker 3: little peppuccini's, all that in one area. And then we
- 18:17Speaker 3: had my meatballs, my Italian sausage meatballs.
- 18:24Speaker 2: I got the dessert table up on the monitor.
- 18:26Speaker 3: There you go. Yeah, and then we had what else?
- 18:31Speaker 3: Oh gosh, we had two cheese platters, one on the
- 18:34Speaker 3: dessert table and then one on the main table.
- 18:40Speaker 2: Look at that.
- 18:40Speaker 3: Look at the g I know, there's the Grinch platter,
- 18:45Speaker 3: and there's the Woes and Teazoo my cheesecake behind it.
- 18:52Speaker 3: We had cake pops, yes, and the mule lug. Yeah,
- 18:56Speaker 3: we had h There was a lot of food.
- 18:59Speaker 2: Look at that.
- 19:00Speaker 3: Yeah, we had chicken and audi choke which was amazing,
- 19:04Speaker 3: chicken and autio choke harts that I just it was
- 19:08Speaker 3: so so good. Yeah, it was delicious everything. You should
- 19:12Speaker 3: have the video of the food thing too.
- 19:14Speaker 2: All right, you want that?
- 19:16Speaker 3: Sure? Why not?
- 19:16Speaker 2: All right, here we go ready there it is, I
- 19:19Speaker 2: am okay.
- 19:22Speaker 3: So that's Italian bread and cheese obviously, and that is
- 19:26Speaker 3: the chicken platter. That's the chicken and already chokes onions, onions,
- 19:32Speaker 3: the whole thing. Oh god, yeah, so so good. Alright,
- 19:35Speaker 3: made that. And then there's my meatballs, and lord knows
- 19:41Speaker 3: those were good everybody.
- 19:42Speaker 2: I don't think there was like more than two or
- 19:44Speaker 2: three meatballs left. No, did you see the look on
- 19:47Speaker 2: Chuck's face when he got into the meatballs. Yeah, oh
- 19:50Speaker 2: my god. And even even Stephanie was like, yeah.
- 19:54Speaker 3: Well Stephanie, who's a chef and who does catering everything,
- 19:58Speaker 3: said to me, gee, this is the best meat ball
- 20:01Speaker 3: I've eaten ever, ever, meat too. And for me that
- 20:04Speaker 3: was like a huge compliment.
- 20:06Speaker 2: Well this is an Italian recipe, well yes, yes, from
- 20:09Speaker 2: Sicily so yeah so. And you have also threatened to
- 20:14Speaker 2: break my legs before you give me the recipe.
- 20:18Speaker 3: Absolutely so.
- 20:20Speaker 2: And I've tried and I cannot get the recipe for
- 20:23Speaker 2: the sauce nope, for the meatballs nope.
- 20:26Speaker 3: Or for the cheesecakes nope, pastard yep, that's me and
- 20:31Speaker 3: extra sauce down there.
- 20:32Speaker 2: All right, let's move on.
- 20:33Speaker 3: Uh here we go. Look at this. Those are all
- 20:36Speaker 3: the accruitiments. We had peppuccini, we had marinated mushrooms, we

- 21:24Speaker 3: Yeah. I don't I don't just go to price shop
- 21:26Speaker 3: or whatever. Yeah. I do a lot of ordering, like
- 21:30Speaker 3: this is authentic. Yeah, that's good stuff. That was yummy.
- 21:34Speaker 2: This stuff up in the top left here was like
- 21:37Speaker 2: wine and crusted or something.
- 21:38Speaker 3: I don't know. I don't need dairyes, so I doesn't
- 21:41Speaker 3: have any stuff right here on the on the far left,
- 21:44Speaker 3: that's the meat from Saloumi down the street. God.

- 22:11Speaker 2: it was.
- 22:11Speaker 3: It was you know. The whole idea was I wanted
- 22:13Speaker 3: people to come in and go wow and feel festive,
- 22:17Speaker 3: and then I wanted them to eat. And some people
- 22:20Speaker 3: don't eat meat. Some people don't eat dairies some people.
- 22:23Speaker 3: So you know, you have to be cautious of what
- 22:25Speaker 3: you're making and where you're putting it. The placement is important.
- 22:28Speaker 3: I have somebody who eats no meat at all. So
- 22:30Speaker 3: I didn't want the charcutari board with the meat over
- 22:33Speaker 3: by the desserts, right, So I put the cheese board
- 22:36Speaker 3: by the by the desserts, all different cheeses and stuff
- 22:40Speaker 3: and crackers, and then I put the meat charcutari board
- 22:43Speaker 3: over by the meat.
- 22:44Speaker 2: Yes, you know what you're doing.
- 22:46Speaker 3: You are.
- 22:48Speaker 2: You're you're like almost like a wedding planner. You have
- 22:52Speaker 2: a vision in your mind, right and you you you
- 22:57Speaker 2: you meticulously orchestrate how you want things to look and unfold.
- 23:04Speaker 3: Well, that's it. When Stephanie and I was setting up
- 23:07Speaker 3: on Saturday morning, we were like, all right, we're gonna
- 23:09Speaker 3: put we want to start with the salads, then we
- 23:11Speaker 3: want to start with the non meats, then we want
- 23:13Speaker 3: to go into the meats, and then we want to
- 23:15Speaker 3: go into the dairy. And you know, so, and then
- 23:18Speaker 3: I wanted different heights for things. Want everything just flat
- 23:21Speaker 3: thrown out, you know, So I had to get hype trays.
- 23:24Speaker 2: And you know, Jed is normally tuned in when you're on,
- 23:29Speaker 2: and I hope he is, because Becky's asking exactly what
- 23:33Speaker 2: kind of blue cheese it was?
- 23:34Speaker 3: Okay, do you you don't know. I don't know, but Becky,
- 23:37Speaker 3: I will send you the answer to that when I
- 23:39Speaker 3: speak to Jed. It was extremely high quality. Yeah it was.
- 23:45Speaker 2: And I'll say this, and I'm serious. My breath is
- 23:50Speaker 2: still bad. Well, your breath is always bad. Well that's
- 23:53Speaker 2: true too, but it's even worse and it has been
- 23:56Speaker 2: worse since I've had that blue cheese.
- 23:58Speaker 3: Well, you're welcome, thank you. And then of course the
- 24:03Speaker 3: White Elephant or the Yankee swap was hystaicle. That was
- 24:08Speaker 3: good stuff. So there was twenty gifts, all right, and
- 24:14Speaker 3: twenty people that had to swap because some people came
- 24:18Speaker 3: without a gift so they don't get to play. But
- 24:20Speaker 3: there was like twenty or twenty one gifts and twenty
- 24:23Speaker 3: one people playing.
- 24:24Speaker 2: When I walked in and I saw the crowd, yep,
- 24:28Speaker 2: I said, uh oh, this crowd's a little maybe little
- 24:34Speaker 2: too conservative for what's coming. And it made me nervous
- 24:39Speaker 2: and Chuck did too. However, the ice was broken almost
- 24:45Speaker 2: immediately when Michael, when your brother got a gift that
- 24:56Speaker 2: he opened in front of everyone, Yes, with and it
- 25:00Speaker 2: will say the backdrop was was beautiful. Everyone was, you know,
- 25:03Speaker 2: sitting around looking.
- 25:05Speaker 3: Yep, like, oh this is lovely beautiful.
- 25:08Speaker 2: Bing Crosby in the background. Yeah, and he opens up
- 25:12Speaker 2: a ball gag.
- 25:13Speaker 3: Yeah, a red ball gag. Everybody was like, what the fuck?
- 25:20Speaker 3: Where's this going from me? Here? I was like, I mean,
- 25:23Speaker 3: who would bring that as a gift?
- 25:25Speaker 2: I needed a shady I know, who would bring something
- 25:29Speaker 2: like that as a gift?
- 25:30Speaker 3: Shady? No, I didn't.
- 25:32Speaker 2: That was not mine?
- 25:33Speaker 3: Which one was yours? You don't know which one yours was?
- 25:36Speaker 3: The penis freaking gun squirt gun this square gun shaped
- 25:41Speaker 3: in a penis.
- 25:42Speaker 2: Oh, thanks for thanks for revealing.
- 25:44Speaker 3: That on well. I wanted to clarify it was listen you.
- 25:52Speaker 3: I was waiting for the blow up doll to start
- 25:55Speaker 3: to believe you what it was. It was a gun
- 25:59Speaker 3: in this Shanis.
- 26:00Speaker 2: Can't believe you just told everyone there? Yeah, and who
- 26:04Speaker 2: ended up with that? Tracy next door Tracy. And it
- 26:08Speaker 2: came with a penis lollipop. Yes, and she rainbow.
- 26:13Speaker 3: Rainbow penis lollipop and she and I went shopping, I said.
- 26:16Speaker 3: In the middle of the shopping, she looked at me
- 26:19Speaker 3: and she goes, remember, I have a bag of dicks
- 26:22Speaker 3: at home because there's so many different penis things, and
- 26:26Speaker 3: get bag.
- 26:29Speaker 2: But for Michael, for Michael's a ball gag.
- 26:34Speaker 3: Michael's been single all his life and he's like, I'm
- 26:38Speaker 3: gonna use this. And we're all like, where on yourself?
- 26:42Speaker 3: Oh yourself, You're gonna gag yourself? Yeah, that was that
- 26:48Speaker 3: was a thing. You know.
- 26:49Speaker 2: I looked around and some people were like, Oh, what's
- 26:55Speaker 2: d It's Christmas?
- 26:56Speaker 3: What is it? Yeah? What is that?
- 26:58Speaker 2: Is that an ornament?
- 27:00Speaker 3: There got a scrap of some kind.
- 27:02Speaker 2: What the what's this black leather strap that goes with
- 27:04Speaker 2: the red Christmas ornament?
- 27:08Speaker 3: It's a ballgag. You've heard the commercial it's the It's
- 27:12Speaker 3: the dog park. Well this is the ballgag. There were
- 27:17Speaker 3: people that had a look on their face, Oh my god,
- 27:23Speaker 3: what's Yeah? You know what I mean. It was funny,
- 27:29Speaker 3: It was funny, it was good stuff.
- 27:31Speaker 2: It was hysterical. Ye listen, we shouldn't reveal who brought
- 27:37Speaker 2: the ballgag.
- 27:39Speaker 3: Okay, Now, Chuck would be embarrassed if he if we
- 27:42Speaker 3: if revealed that.
- 27:44Speaker 2: The last thing I want to do is embarrassed Chuck. Yeah,
- 27:47Speaker 2: I won't throw him under the bus at all. I
- 27:49Speaker 2: won't either. So so let's just so Tada set the
- 27:54Speaker 2: record straight. Chuck did not bring the ballgag.
- 27:58Speaker 3: Or he did. We neither admit nor deny nor deny. Right.
- 28:03Speaker 2: But then you've got something over there too, Becky saying
- 28:09Speaker 2: I know why you were wore.
- 28:16Speaker 3: Oh, Becky, I love that.
- 28:21Speaker 2: Becky's coming on the air in twenty twenty six. Nice
- 28:23Speaker 2: sharing that couch with you right now.
- 28:25Speaker 3: Nice. Nice, We're gonna have a good time. I'll make
- 28:27Speaker 3: it happen. Yep.
- 28:28Speaker 2: I'll do whatever if I'll pay her if I have to.
- 28:31Speaker 3: Hey, what about me?
- 28:33Speaker 2: Then then there was a there were some for some reason,
- 28:38Speaker 2: a lot of pickles. Yeah, what was what was up
- 28:41Speaker 2: with the pickles?
- 28:42Speaker 3: I don't know. There was all of a sudden, people
- 28:45Speaker 3: are opening up their gift and there's a pickle in it.
- 28:49Speaker 2: Well, we had this. We got this one right here,
- 28:52Speaker 2: I'm showing you on camera called Pickle Problems, which we
- 28:55Speaker 2: played later that night, which was hysterical. It was it's
- 28:59Speaker 2: basically a true of you. Yeah game, and the person
- 29:03Speaker 2: that goes is the person that perceives the pickle. Right,
- 29:06Speaker 2: you can throw the pickle.
- 29:08Speaker 3: Well, if you get it right, you can throw it
- 29:10Speaker 3: at anybody playing right, and if you get it wrong,
- 29:14Speaker 3: then just pass it to the left. Yeah. But yeah,
- 29:17Speaker 3: Jed threw it a lot at you. He did, you
- 29:20Speaker 3: threw you threw your pickle at me. I was like, finally, yeah, well,
- 29:26Speaker 3: and there were a few times where your pickle got
- 29:31Speaker 3: me right in the forehead. Yeah, well, there you go.
- 29:34Speaker 3: It's boom, there you go.
- 29:36Speaker 2: I have a good aim. And then there was a
- 29:39Speaker 2: lot of discussion about the size of the pickle.
- 29:44Speaker 3: Yeah, that was the funniest discussion. You were getting all
- 29:48Speaker 3: upset and.
- 29:49Speaker 2: Well Sherilyn was making a lot of comments about the
- 29:52Speaker 2: size of the pickle and you know, comparing it to
- 29:57Speaker 2: other pickles.
- 29:58Speaker 3: Right.
- 29:59Speaker 2: Uh, then there was uh, there was a lot of
- 30:03Speaker 2: discussion about that. And then as Jed mentions in the comments,
- 30:07Speaker 2: here the yodling pickle.
- 30:09Speaker 3: Yes, why did Jed have the cheese name?
- 30:12Speaker 1: What?
- 30:13Speaker 3: Jed?
- 30:13Speaker 2: We need the name of that blue cheese. Uh, if
- 30:16Speaker 2: you don't mind, because it was so good, please drop
- 30:20Speaker 2: it in the in the comments.
- 30:23Speaker 3: The yodling pickle. All right, who ended up with that, Chuck.
- 30:29Speaker 3: Chuck ended up with that, and he's obsessed. You know,
- 30:31Speaker 3: I really think there's a part of him that's alternative.
- 30:34Speaker 3: I don't think he's straight straight absolutely, because that pickle.
- 30:38Speaker 3: I've never seen somebody play a pickle so much that
- 30:41Speaker 3: the batteries were almost out. He got he got a pickle.
- 30:45Speaker 3: People are like, oh my god, that that Uh yodels yodels,
- 30:54Speaker 3: That's all I can that's the only word you can.
- 30:56Speaker 2: Use, anatomically yodling. Yodel's to the stroke correct. Yeah, yes,
- 31:04Speaker 2: so he had a battery in it. Oh, Chuck is
- 31:08Speaker 2: just tuning in saying, good morning boys.
- 31:10Speaker 3: Good morning. We're talking about your yodling pickle, and we're
- 31:15Speaker 3: talking about the gifts that you gave on at the party. Yeah,
- 31:20Speaker 3: and now everybody knows, but we didn't want to say
- 31:22Speaker 3: your name, so we just said, I don't think Chuck
- 31:25Speaker 3: would appreciate him. He said his name.
- 31:27Speaker 2: He's he's tuning in a little bit late. He's missed
- 31:30Speaker 2: a lot of the abuse. Yes, but Chuck was so
- 31:34Speaker 2: desperate for that yodeling pickle, which you're allowed to trade gifts.
- 31:40Speaker 2: It was taken away from him at one point, which
- 31:44Speaker 2: was extremely a traumatic experience for it, right, I mean.
- 31:48Speaker 3: He was in theory, in theory. If it was taken
- 31:52Speaker 3: away from him. Oh, he took it back on his
- 31:54Speaker 3: turn right. Yeah, he did take it back, but he
- 31:57Speaker 3: wasn't about to lose that pickle. Yeah. Then he send
- 32:01Speaker 3: you soundbites on it.
- 32:03Speaker 2: He did, he did. He said, you're jealous.
- 32:06Speaker 3: I know.
- 32:07Speaker 2: Jamie says, it's not the size of the pickle, it's
- 32:09Speaker 2: how you use it that is such bullshit.
- 32:12Speaker 3: Really, Jamie, bullshit, I call bullshit, no kidding. Yeah, No,
- 32:17Speaker 3: it's the size that counts to really. Oh yeah, you
- 32:20Speaker 3: gotta have both of them. You can't just have I'm
- 32:23Speaker 3: telling you, Jamie, hit me up and I'll give you
- 32:26Speaker 3: a story that'll prove that I'm right. Okay, but yeah,
- 32:31Speaker 3: but it'll prove it. Chuck Chuck. Chuck is like, oh,
- 32:35Speaker 3: I'm taking this yodeling pickle home with me, baby, Oh
- 32:40Speaker 3: oh yeah, oh yeah.
- 32:42Speaker 2: And I'm like, are you excited about yourself right or
- 32:47Speaker 2: a partner somebody else that is going to be enjoying
- 32:50Speaker 2: the yodling pickle?
- 32:52Speaker 3: Is it only supposed to yodel? Or is there is
- 32:54Speaker 3: multi purpose? I don't know.
- 32:56Speaker 2: Definitely multipurpose. Really, why not all right? Because it's I
- 33:00Speaker 2: mean it was this pickle was probably what six inches?
- 33:05Speaker 3: Yeah? Yeah it was small. Wow.
- 33:09Speaker 2: Wow, I like, wow, I'm not even reading his comment.
- 33:17Speaker 2: He's I'm not I'm not even Chuck's comment, he says,
- 33:21Speaker 2: he is. He's insinuating that I'm exaggerating and and I'm
- 33:25Speaker 2: not at all.
- 33:26Speaker 3: This guy is so excited about the pickle. Yeah, oh no,
- 33:29Speaker 3: I know.
- 33:29Speaker 2: These These are the the messages, the voicemail messages that
- 33:35Speaker 2: I received from Chuck on Sunday morning. Wow, at nine
- 33:41Speaker 2: o'clock on Sunday morning.
- 33:43Speaker 3: Oh my god. After we didn't we hung out till
- 33:47Speaker 3: two three three, Chuck is up at nine o'clock on
- 33:52Speaker 3: a Sunday morning the next day and sends me this
- 33:55Speaker 3: message right here. Wow.
- 34:02Speaker 2: For some reason, it's oh here.
- 34:04Speaker 3: It is Billy Day. Yeah, Chuck was busy Saturday night
- 34:27Speaker 3: when he got home and he sent me this one yesterday,
- 34:30Speaker 3: Billy Day. Defend yourself, Chuck. There's something really wrong. Yeah, yeah, there's.
- 34:44Speaker 2: He's so happy.
- 34:45Speaker 3: There's some serious therapy needed.
- 34:48Speaker 5: I think it's funny. You think I'm I was fucking
- 34:52Speaker 5: around earlier when I said to me get your fucking pickle.
- 34:57Speaker 5: You need to take possession. What if your motherfucker pickle?
- 35:00Speaker 3: What now?
- 35:03Speaker 5: If you don't shortly, you may never see your pickle again.
- 35:09Speaker 3: Whoa? What's wrong with you? Get you? Whoa?
- 35:14Speaker 2: Is he like threatening me or something?
- 35:16Speaker 3: Yeah? What is it? Like a gestapo kind of thing
- 35:20Speaker 3: going on?
- 35:21Speaker 2: Has he been smoking those cigars again.
- 35:24Speaker 3: Or enjoying his pickle?
- 35:26Speaker 2: God?
- 35:27Speaker 3: Something put him in a mood? Tammy, did you see
- 35:33Speaker 3: the comment from damn? I can't read it. It says
- 35:36Speaker 3: sounds like it's been used. Yes, yes, Chuck is definitely
- 35:41Speaker 3: a happy man. At some point, we should get possession
- 35:47Speaker 3: of this pickle.
- 35:48Speaker 2: Yes, after it's been properly sanitized, I think, and bring
- 35:53Speaker 2: it bring it onto air now.
- 35:55Speaker 3: Please do man. I won't touch it even if you
- 35:59Speaker 3: sanitize it. So we're gonna have to wear radioactive gloves
- 36:02Speaker 3: or something. Speaking of radioactive Oh my god, I blought
- 36:06Speaker 3: it up. I didn't even mean to. Have you heard
- 36:09Speaker 3: the news? Yeah? All right, yeah, I have to buckle in.
- 36:14Speaker 2: Buckle up, buckle up.
- 36:16Speaker 3: Are you all sitting down? All right? Where is it?
- 36:20Speaker 2: Jamie?
- 36:21Speaker 3: Chuck?
- 36:21Speaker 2: Tammy? Hang on, you got to hear this. I'll give
- 36:26Speaker 2: me a second, I'm gonna find it. I know we
- 36:28Speaker 2: have to get to some birthdays too, we got some
- 36:30Speaker 2: birthdays today, but uh, I got I'm gonna find it
- 36:36Speaker 2: right here here.
- 36:38Speaker 3: It is.
- 36:40Speaker 2: This, and I heard this yesterday, and I think I've
- 36:42Speaker 2: heard this recently over the last couple of months too.
- 36:45Speaker 2: But let me let me let me screen share here,
- 36:49Speaker 2: because I know there's some of you that are like, like, chuck, oh, Jane,
- 36:54Speaker 2: you're making this shit up. Yeah, you exaggerating. Frozen shrimp
- 37:01Speaker 2: sold in multiple states recalled due to possible radioactive contamination.
- 37:11Speaker 2: And among the places is you wow. Yeah, as you
- 37:15Speaker 2: can see right there, Market thirty two yep, raw shrimp,
- 37:21Speaker 2: easy peel shell on. I have literally purchased that exact shrimp.
- 37:30Speaker 2: When have you eaten it last? I want to say,
- 37:34Speaker 2: a couple of months ago. Well you're not glowing, so
- 37:38Speaker 2: I'm not glowing yet. Although I think we need to
- 37:41Speaker 2: hook up one of those what are those meters called?
- 37:43Speaker 2: Oh yeah, the thing that you know what I'm talking about. Yeah,
- 37:48Speaker 2: Becky will know right here. Over eighty thousand bags of
- 37:53Speaker 2: frozen shrimp recalled because of potential radioactive contamination. The Food
- 37:57Speaker 2: and Drug Administration said the items were sold in multiple dates,
- 38:00Speaker 2: including New York, Massachusetts, in Colorado no Vermont's not listed,
- 38:05Speaker 2: but no, still, I'm not buying any shrimp for New
- 38:10Speaker 2: Year's Eve, Mark thirty two. You can buy you can
- 38:13Speaker 2: buy the cooked platter. Yeah, so if you want shrimp,
- 38:17Speaker 2: you know it's the raw shrimp, right right. Consumers with
- 38:23Speaker 2: these products should either throw them away or return return
- 38:26Speaker 2: them to the store to get a refund.
- 38:29Speaker 3: So shrimp is pretty expensive. So if you bought a
- 38:32Speaker 3: couple of bags, return it right. It says right here
- 38:35Speaker 3: the product may be contaminated with cessium one thirty seven,
- 38:42Speaker 3: a human induced radio act rate radio radio stop, radio
- 38:52Speaker 3: isotope or whatever the hell of cessium, According to the FDA.
- 39:01Speaker 2: Radio I don't know how to pronounce.
- 39:03Speaker 3: It, don't.
- 39:04Speaker 2: I don't, I don't, I don't need It's like things
- 39:08Speaker 2: on food. You don't know what it is.
- 39:09Speaker 3: You just I don't need to know how to pronounce it. Right, Frankly,
- 39:13Speaker 3: it's contaminated. There's something wrong with it. Don't eat it,
- 39:16Speaker 3: perryot move on.
- 39:17Speaker 2: To date, no illness related to the shrimp recall have
- 39:21Speaker 2: been reported.
- 39:23Speaker 3: So so what did they do? Take the Geico count whatever?
- 39:27Speaker 3: That stupid thing is and run it on shrimp and
- 39:30Speaker 3: get some reading, because nobody's gotten sick from it. I
- 39:34Speaker 3: don't know, so how would they know?
- 39:36Speaker 2: But the shrimp is imported from Indonesia, sold under the
- 39:40Speaker 2: market thirty two and Waterfront bistro brands.
- 39:46Speaker 3: Well that's the problem. It came from Indonesia. That's a problem.
- 39:49Speaker 2: Now they're saying Kroger is added to the list here. Wow,
- 39:56Speaker 2: so that's it, no more seafood. Let's see Connecticut, Massachusetts,
- 40:02Speaker 2: New Hampshire. Wow, that's right next door, New York, Pennsylvania.
- 40:06Speaker 2: Oh here it is Vermont. Uh huh, we're in there.
- 40:11Speaker 2: Not that we should be excited about that.
- 40:15Speaker 3: Yeah, dominated here it is so excited. Oh my god.
- 40:21Speaker 3: Uh let's see.
- 40:23Speaker 2: Uh the brand was sold the press shopper stores in
- 40:25Speaker 2: these states on or after July eleventh. Connecticut, Massachusetts, New Hampshire,
- 40:31Speaker 2: New York, Pennsylvania, and yes, Vermont right there. Yeah yeah yeah,
- 40:38Speaker 2: so wow. You know, just something to think about if
- 40:43Speaker 2: you're getting shrimped for New Year's Eve, yeah, or in.
- 40:47Speaker 3: Bite people you don't like over and serve them.
- 40:50Speaker 2: That's a great idea, because now there's no never even
- 40:55Speaker 2: thought of that. Yeah, brilliant, could you imagine?
- 40:59Speaker 3: Yeah, please eat some more shrimp? Please?
- 41:02Speaker 2: Hey, Chuck, come on over, bring your pickle, have some shrimp.
- 41:06Speaker 2: Yeah right, No, Chuck, eat some more shwamp yeah. Or
- 41:15Speaker 2: if Jamie says pickle, trimp.
- 41:17Speaker 3: Oh.
- 41:19Speaker 2: So so let's uh, let's talk about this.
- 41:23Speaker 3: We'll do your birthdays.
- 41:24Speaker 2: Yeah, let's do the birthdays. Yes, gotta get the birthday Okay,
- 41:27Speaker 2: all right, you're right, you're right. Uh, let's see where

- 42:38Speaker 2: You remember these are days?
- 42:40Speaker 3: You remember?
- 42:41Speaker 2: Okay, let's see Lee Daniels sixty six.
- 42:45Speaker 4: We have.
- 42:48Speaker 3: That's it.
- 42:48Speaker 2: Christmas Day birthdays on the twenty fifth. We should probably
- 42:55Speaker 2: begin with Jesus, Jesus, Yeah, Jesus of Nazareth. Yeah, the
- 43:03Speaker 2: Man of the People. And we're going to talk about
- 43:05Speaker 2: that in just a minute. Here Emma Slater thirty seven.
- 43:10Speaker 2: Remember her from Dancing with the Stars. Yep, we have
- 43:13Speaker 2: Annie Lennox, God bless her.
- 43:17Speaker 3: Seven.
- 43:17Speaker 2: She's going to turn seventy one on Christmas Day from
- 43:21Speaker 2: the Rythmics. Wow, do you want me to sing Sweet Dreams?
- 43:25Speaker 3: No?
- 43:25Speaker 2: Okay? Here what about? Here comes the Rain again? Do
- 43:28Speaker 2: you want me to sing that?
- 43:30Speaker 3: No?
- 43:32Speaker 2: What I lie to you?
- 43:33Speaker 3: I like that song? I do too? Uh.
- 43:37Speaker 2: Carl O seventy five, The Sissy's Basic h seventy six
- 43:44Speaker 2: years old.
- 43:45Speaker 3: Wow, you remember Sissy when she was a little kid
- 43:48Speaker 3: on TV? Yeah?
- 43:50Speaker 2: Damn you remember Carrie Yes, coal Miner's daughter, Yes, excellent? Yes, Yes,
- 43:57Speaker 2: seventy six on Christmas Day. Here's here's someone who I
- 44:01Speaker 2: had that I think this was possibly my first crush
- 44:05Speaker 2: before Olivia Newton John. Okay, this is the right the
- 44:10Speaker 2: start of it, right, Barbara Mandree, Holy crawly, Barbara Mandrell. Gosh,
- 44:15Speaker 2: I haven't heard her music at all.
- 44:18Speaker 3: Oh what a she have anything out anymore? She just retired, don't.
- 44:23Speaker 3: I don't.
- 44:24Speaker 2: I really don't know. But man, when I saw Barbara,
- 44:27Speaker 2: I don't remember how old I was. She was a
- 44:29Speaker 2: little dish six five. When I saw a picture of
- 44:33Speaker 2: Barbara Mandreuell with those eyes, I was like, and that hair,
- 44:37Speaker 2: the hair, I was like, Yeah, I'm feeling something that
- 44:42Speaker 2: I have never felt before. Yeah, she is gonna turn
- 44:47Speaker 2: seventy seven years old on Christmas Day.
- 44:50Speaker 3: Wow. Yeah, time's moving. We're getting older.
- 44:55Speaker 2: Jimmy Buffett, if he were still don't do the air.
- 44:59Speaker 2: That's so dumb, all right, Jimmy Buffett's birthday good, even
- 45:03Speaker 2: though he's not alive, right, all right, But it's just
- 45:06Speaker 2: so weird.
- 45:07Speaker 3: I hate it when they say, oh, so and so
- 45:09Speaker 3: would be forty seven right now if he was still
- 45:11Speaker 3: with us, I'm like, what, move on leave. That's the
- 45:16Speaker 3: one thing that burns my ass. Is when somebody dies, Well.
- 45:19Speaker 2: I just did it, so you can say, JD, that
- 45:22Speaker 2: burns my ass. Don't do that.
- 45:24Speaker 3: Yeah, Okay, when somebody's dead and they bring it up
- 45:27Speaker 3: like five years later, Oh, the conspiracy have said, oh,
- 45:30Speaker 3: let him rest in peace, So yeah, that burns my ass.
- 45:33Speaker 2: He passed away in twenty twenty three, Jimmy Buffett. Yeah,
- 45:38Speaker 2: And Humphrey Bogart, Yes, passed away in nineteen fifty seven. Yeah,
- 45:44Speaker 2: my good buddy Loud and Granger is also celebrating his
- 45:48Speaker 2: birthday on Christmas Day. Now what were you and I
- 45:53Speaker 2: just going to talk about next? The Epiphany christ?
- 45:58Speaker 3: Yes, yes, okay, my brother that mayor yes, but go on, yeah,
- 46:04Speaker 3: we'll talk about that.
- 46:05Speaker 2: Well, we got to talk about that too.
- 46:06Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 46:07Speaker 2: My brother is one of these guys that's like put
- 46:12Speaker 2: the Christmas tree up. And I know there's there's plenty
- 46:15Speaker 2: that it's the opposite of my house, but he's like,
- 46:17Speaker 2: put the Christmas tree up as late as possible. Yeah,
- 46:21Speaker 2: and after the final gift has been unwrapped, Christmas tree
- 46:26Speaker 2: comes down.
- 46:28Speaker 3: So the way, it's just the way. So there's plenty
- 46:33Speaker 3: that are like that. Yeah, you know mine is is
- 46:37Speaker 3: the day after Christmas, take it all down day after Christmas,
- 46:41Speaker 3: the day after Now, some people go to you know later,
- 46:45Speaker 3: but I, you know, I spend a lot of time decorating,
- 46:48Speaker 3: and then we have parties and all that stuff, and
- 46:51Speaker 3: then Christmas comes and we don't cook on Christmas. Jed
- 46:56Speaker 3: and I we go out to eat. It's just a
- 47:00Speaker 3: way of saying, because we do the parties and everything earlier, right,
- 47:04Speaker 3: so we're like done, we're tired. We don't want to
- 47:07Speaker 3: clean dishes anything on Christmas. So our gift to each other,
- 47:12Speaker 3: other than whatever else we do, is that we just
- 47:15Speaker 3: go out to a restaurant. We eat, and we come
- 47:18Speaker 3: home and we complain that we ate too much, and
- 47:20Speaker 3: we put on some movies and we just veg out. Yeah.
- 47:24Speaker 3: And then the next day I get up and I'm like,
- 47:26Speaker 3: all right, let's start with the little things, because you
- 47:31Speaker 3: know there's a lot in my household. Your house is decked.
- 47:35Speaker 3: I've never seen anything.
- 47:36Speaker 2: Well our house is well, yeah, you guys, do you
- 47:39Speaker 2: know that Hirlin is still decorating?
- 47:42Speaker 3: Why not? Why not? It's up until Christmas. It's really
- 47:46Speaker 3: first No, because you know what if you put it
- 47:49Speaker 3: all up on let's say November thirtieth or whatever, twenty
- 47:54Speaker 3: eighth or whatever you want to do. If you put
- 47:57Speaker 3: it all up, then then there's nothing fresh throughout the
- 48:00Speaker 3: holiday season. Okay. But if you decorate a little bit
- 48:04Speaker 3: each time, as I did, there was new things going
- 48:08Speaker 3: up every day. Yeah, okay, and I started three four
- 48:11Speaker 3: weeks early. I know you did. Okay, But if you
- 48:14Speaker 3: put up until Christmas Day, you keep adding really cool things,
- 48:19Speaker 3: then it's nice and fresh on Christmas and you can
- 48:22Speaker 3: enjoy it and then enjoy it for as long as
- 48:25Speaker 3: you want. I take mine down, usually the tre will
- 48:27Speaker 3: come down either. If I'm successful at moving everything else,
- 48:31Speaker 3: then the treo come down after the day after Christmas.
- 48:34Speaker 2: It's otherwise it's the following day. I don't think there's
- 48:36Speaker 2: anything right or wrong about this. It's a personal choice.
- 48:39Speaker 2: It is Charylyn would love to have our Christmas tree
- 48:43Speaker 2: up until Mother's Day, right, even though it's brown and
- 48:48Speaker 2: has been dead for months. Sticks only in a way
- 48:53Speaker 2: massive fire hazard. Yeah she still, I mean you know what,
- 48:58Speaker 2: And I mean we together for over twenty years. Yeah,
- 49:01Speaker 2: And I'm like, if that's what makes her happy, right,
- 49:04Speaker 2: I'm happy she's happy.
- 49:06Speaker 3: Well, that's the most important thing with any relationship. If
- 49:09Speaker 3: they're happy, it makes you what's what's the harm? The harm?
- 49:13Speaker 2: The harm is it's taken up a lot of space.
- 49:15Speaker 3: Yep.
- 49:16Speaker 2: And in the case of our house, a lot of space.
- 49:21Speaker 2: The couches have to be move the whole living room
- 49:24Speaker 2: has to be reconfigured. Yes, but the sadness when she
- 49:30Speaker 2: has to take the tree down, Yeah, me too, and
- 49:33Speaker 2: take the decorations off and put them away.
- 49:36Speaker 3: Yeah, and putting them away is a big thing. I mean,
- 49:40Speaker 3: I've got probably I'm gonna have probably six to eight
- 49:43Speaker 3: bins of just Christmas stuff and then two boxes of trees.
- 49:48Speaker 3: So yeah, it's a lot of work. But it's a
- 49:51Speaker 3: lot of work when you go through all that. When
- 49:53Speaker 3: you're done and you're like, oh, my house is clean again,
- 49:56Speaker 3: but then you're like, I don''s something it's something's missing.
- 50:00Speaker 2: Don't don't allow the I don't mean to sound cheesy
- 50:04Speaker 2: and cliche, man, but it's like, don't allow the removal
- 50:08Speaker 2: of the Christmas decorations to be part of the removal
- 50:12Speaker 2: of the magic of Christmas. Which does It shouldn't end
- 50:16Speaker 2: on the twenty six No, keep it in your heart.
- 50:19Speaker 3: Spirit of Christmas should be all year long, so that
- 50:21Speaker 3: you can be kind all year long. We've talked about this,
- 50:25Speaker 3: we have talked about this way. It pisses me off
- 50:27Speaker 3: that everybody's like, hello, hello, hello, and the day after
- 50:30Speaker 3: Christmas let me alone. Yeah, and I'm like, wow, now
- 50:33Speaker 3: we know you're just a faker.
- 50:37Speaker 2: Be kind, yeah, and Rewind, and Rewind.
- 50:42Speaker 3: Yeah. The millennials will not the millenniity, the younger generation
- 50:47Speaker 3: will never ever know what that meant. Yeah, be kind, Rewind.
- 50:55Speaker 2: But they're supposed to be what is it the epiphany
- 50:58Speaker 2: when you when you're supposed to take down on the
- 51:00Speaker 2: Christmas tree?
- 51:01Speaker 3: Right?
- 51:01Speaker 2: And I think that's when we take ours down, honestly,
- 51:05Speaker 2: because Sherilyn, she gets a little, you know, suspicious.
- 51:11Speaker 3: Yeah, well do you know when I was buying Christmas
- 51:14Speaker 3: decorations last.
- 51:16Speaker 2: Week superstitious is the word?
- 51:18Speaker 3: I mean superstitious. When I was buying Christmas decorations last week,
- 51:25Speaker 3: week before, week and a half before Christmas, Valentine's Day
- 51:31Speaker 3: stuff was out in the stories, don't oh yeah, don't
- 51:35Speaker 3: do this yep, yep, valient they are the stores last
- 51:40Speaker 3: week started decorating for Valentine's That goes to blood pressure. Yep,
- 51:44Speaker 3: it's going up right now, February fourteenth, two months before
- 51:49Speaker 3: they had the decorations out already. I suggested that the
- 51:56Speaker 3: stores on December thirty first started putting out Christmas stuff
- 52:01Speaker 3: for the following year. Yeah, why not. It's getting later
- 52:06Speaker 3: and later and earlier and earlier each time I.
- 52:09Speaker 2: Got something here. Long standing traditions and safety consideration, Ah,
- 52:16Speaker 2: safety to weigh in here, Okay, some camps swear and
- 52:22Speaker 2: I'm reading here by packing it all up on December
- 52:24Speaker 2: twenty sixth or by New Year's Day, okay. Traditionally, the
- 52:30Speaker 2: Christmas tree stays up until the Epiphany on January sixth, right,
- 52:35Speaker 2: which is the what now, the twelfth day of Christmas? Right,
- 52:42Speaker 2: that's when the three Wise men, yes, came to visit Jesus.
- 52:46Speaker 3: Yep, So.
- 52:49Speaker 2: There it is. In medieval times, the decorations stayed out
- 52:53Speaker 2: even longer, all the way through Candle miss on February second. Wow,
- 53:01Speaker 2: the official end of the Christmas season on the Christian calendar.
- 53:06Speaker 3: Wow. Huh.
- 53:09Speaker 2: By that measure, you're well justified in keeping your Christmas
- 53:12Speaker 2: tree up all through January's.
- 53:16Speaker 3: Month, right, So yeah, I know Tracy leaves hers up
- 53:19Speaker 3: until I think the sixth also, yeah, I think she
- 53:23Speaker 3: does the epiphany too, because I told her, oh, day
- 53:27Speaker 3: after I take it all down.
- 53:29Speaker 2: And she's like, really, if you have a real Christmas tree,
- 53:35Speaker 2: if you want to keep it up this long, right,
- 53:39Speaker 2: you need to keep you need to think about safety. Well, yeah,
- 53:44Speaker 2: you need to make sure that the thing is watered, right,
- 53:46Speaker 2: because so many of us, you know, after Christmas.
- 53:51Speaker 3: Well that's it. And a lot of times after Christmas
- 53:54Speaker 3: you forget about or you forget because what happens is
- 53:57Speaker 3: all the way up till Christmas, you're like, keep the
- 54:00Speaker 3: it's very fresh. But now that Christmas is over, there like,
- 54:03Speaker 3: oh shit, I forgot to water the tree.
- 54:05Speaker 2: I've always heard the five week mark is when it
- 54:10Speaker 2: starts to become a fire hazard, regardless of how much
- 54:16Speaker 2: you're watering it consists.
- 54:18Speaker 3: Yeah, I don't know, huh, I don't know. Well, I
- 54:22Speaker 3: mean it's a tree. I mean, how long can I
- 54:24Speaker 3: live without soil and root? Sure? You know what I mean.
- 54:26Speaker 2: It's like anything else. But here's the thing, Charylyn will
- 54:36Speaker 2: shed it tere. Yeah, when she takes the Christmas tree. Yeah,
- 54:40Speaker 2: it's it's like it's a it's a really sad moment. Well, yeah,
- 54:44Speaker 2: she dreads it.
- 54:45Speaker 3: Yeah, So tell her to go out shopping and when
- 54:49Speaker 3: she comes back, it'll all be gone. Yeah, I don't
- 54:54Speaker 3: know any because you don't know where to put everything.
- 54:56Speaker 2: Well, she's very particular. Well she should be where things go.
- 55:00Speaker 3: She should be and you should mark every container exactly
- 55:03Speaker 3: what's in it. She's so so that you pull out
- 55:06Speaker 3: what you need when you need it, instead of taking
- 55:09Speaker 3: all six binds just to say, oh, I found the
- 55:12Speaker 3: ornament hanger. UKs.
- 55:13Speaker 2: And every year when she takes things out, she's got
- 55:17Speaker 2: it done. So I mean literally, my fingers don't touch
- 55:19Speaker 2: a single thing right because she's like, you see, that's
- 55:22Speaker 2: exactly where I wanted it to be at the top,
- 55:24Speaker 2: because that comes that goes up first, right, and this
- 55:27Speaker 2: goes out second, and this goes out third.
- 55:29Speaker 3: Yep.
- 55:30Speaker 2: And then she likes to put things away that way, right,
- 55:33Speaker 2: Nothing wrong with that. There's a small town in South
- 55:37Speaker 2: Carolina that is all over the news. It was it
- 55:42Speaker 2: was yesterday anyway, where the town city council is refusing
- 55:53Speaker 2: to remove a Nativity scene from a market parking lot
- 56:01Speaker 2: after the mayor ordered that it be taken down because
- 56:07Speaker 2: it's on public property.
- 56:10Speaker 3: That's ridiculous.
- 56:15Speaker 2: Kimberly Bird, who's heading up the Mullens Beautification Committee in Mullins,
- 56:20Speaker 2: South Carolina, said that her small team decided to decorate
- 56:25Speaker 2: the city's new Marketplace area for its first Christmas season
- 56:30Speaker 2: like a Hallmark movie, right, hoping to draw more customers
- 56:34Speaker 2: to the downtown area. So they spent a couple of
- 56:37Speaker 2: weeks and they decorated. They got a snowman, they got wreaths,
- 56:43Speaker 2: they got lights, they got Santa Claus, lots of decorations.
- 56:47Speaker 2: They paid for everything out of their own pockets, including
- 56:51Speaker 2: a small three by four foot Nativity scene. Well, the
- 56:57Speaker 2: mayor Miko Pickett.
- 57:00Speaker 3: We don't name drop, remember, so you don't want to
- 57:06Speaker 3: see Meko Pickett again. No, we don't talk about Miko
- 57:10Speaker 3: Pickets by the name.
- 57:12Speaker 2: But that's the name of the mayor.
- 57:13Speaker 3: I understand, But we don't use the mayor's name just
- 57:16Speaker 3: so that we you know, we correct. So let's just
- 57:21Speaker 3: say the mayor, not Miko Pickett. All right, Okay, the
- 57:26Speaker 3: mayor the mayor, right, Miko Pickett. Kind of a name
- 57:35Speaker 3: is that any.
- 57:36Speaker 2: I don't know. Frigan asked her to remove the nativity scene,
- 57:41Speaker 2: citing concerns about residents and other faiths and beliefs in
- 57:46Speaker 2: the community. That's ridiculous. Here goes the blood pressure against Yeah,
- 57:53Speaker 2: that's you know, I'll show you the Nativity scene here
- 57:57Speaker 2: here it is right there.
- 57:58Speaker 3: Yeah, there's nothing wrong with that, nothing wrong with that.
- 58:03Speaker 2: It's it's actually beautiful, it is, Kimberly Bird said. The
- 58:09Speaker 2: mayor's request stunned her. And they're pushing back, and yeah,
- 58:17Speaker 2: I think it's so wonderful that they're pushing back, Yeah,
- 58:20Speaker 2: and saying, no way, Jose, we're not taking it down,
- 58:24Speaker 2: you know, right, So some of the city council members
- 58:31Speaker 2: are supporting Kimberly Bird and saying, yeah, let's keep the
- 58:36Speaker 2: display in place, right and take a stand here, Yeah,
- 58:41Speaker 2: as they as they should.
- 58:43Speaker 3: Oh.
- 58:43Speaker 2: Here, here's a picture of it at night. I mean,
- 58:46Speaker 2: it's a beautiful.
- 58:46Speaker 3: Look at that.
- 58:47Speaker 2: Yeah, isn't that amazing?
- 58:49Speaker 3: Yeah, there's nothing wrong with it, absolutely nothing.
- 58:54Speaker 2: In a statement posted the Facebook on November twenty sixth,
- 58:58Speaker 2: Pickett said that she asked only that the Nativity scene
- 59:02Speaker 2: be removed from the public parking area, arguing that a
- 59:04Speaker 2: religious symbol on public property violated the separation of church
- 59:10Speaker 2: and state. Do I have that statement on Facebook?
- 59:15Speaker 3: Oh, damn it. I don't.
- 59:17Speaker 2: That's too bad. I'll see if I can find it
- 59:20Speaker 2: and post it up. Let's see. Bird said that if
- 59:25Speaker 2: the mayor or city council ultimately removes the Nativity scene,
- 59:29Speaker 2: she would take down the other Christmas decorations as well,
- 59:32Speaker 2: because she feels strongly about keeping Jesus Christ at the
- 59:36Speaker 2: center of the holiday. Isn't that the Nativity scene?
- 59:41Speaker 3: Yes, so if she's so into oh this is not
- 59:46Speaker 3: the mayor, Yes, the mayor said that, yes, yes, okay,
- 59:53Speaker 3: So you know, I mean, there's plenty of us, plenty
- 1:00:03Speaker 3: right of us.
- 1:00:05Speaker 2: That don't celebrate Christmas, right. We think it's a bunch
- 1:00:11Speaker 2: of over commercialized hoopla right for lack of a better term.
- 1:00:18Speaker 2: And there's plenty of us that Christmas.
- 1:00:25Speaker 3: Is not.
- 1:00:27Speaker 2: About Santa Claus, right, It's only about the birth of Jesus, right, right,
- 1:00:34Speaker 2: and giving to others as the wise men gave to Jesus, right,
- 1:00:45Speaker 2: Mary and Joseph.
- 1:00:47Speaker 3: Right, and that's it.
- 1:00:50Speaker 2: Yeah, nothing about the red guy in the suit and
- 1:00:54Speaker 2: the sleigh in the chimney.
- 1:00:55Speaker 3: Correct. Correct.
- 1:00:59Speaker 2: But there's there's still plenty of us that we don't
- 1:01:04Speaker 2: we don't take the are we talking about religion on
- 1:01:07Speaker 2: air down you are said that I would never.
- 1:01:09Speaker 3: Do you are. I'm I'm totally staying neutral on this
- 1:01:13Speaker 3: topic because I was like, oh, he's on a soapbox.
- 1:01:16Speaker 2: I'm just gonna sit quiet. I'm saying, there's plenty that
- 1:01:23Speaker 2: whatever that that this time of year, it's all about Honakha, right,
- 1:01:31Speaker 2: Jewish right. Yeah, we got the menora going. Yep, we
- 1:01:36Speaker 2: got and they have lots of respect yep for Christians
- 1:01:41Speaker 2: who are celebrating Christmas.
- 1:01:43Speaker 3: As I I do not get offended when I drive
- 1:01:46Speaker 3: by a house that has a menora in the window. Here, okay,
- 1:01:50Speaker 3: never will. I prefer that businesses stay neutral. So if
- 1:01:56Speaker 3: you're gonna put up Christmas decorations, also put up decorations
- 1:01:59Speaker 3: for other other people that celebrate other holidays in their form. Yeah.
- 1:02:05Speaker 3: You know, so a lot of times I'll go into
- 1:02:07Speaker 3: a business and I'll see a tree up. But then
- 1:02:09Speaker 3: I go to the other side and I see him anora,
- 1:02:11Speaker 3: and I'm like, all right now, we're recognizing, you know.
- 1:02:15Speaker 3: And they use the little dradl as decorations and stuff.
- 1:02:18Speaker 3: That's all fine. It doesn't matter to me, it doesn't.
- 1:02:23Speaker 3: It doesn't. Well, everybody politicizes everything, and everybody has to
- 1:02:28Speaker 3: have an opinion. Instead of just saying it's a holiday,
- 1:02:31Speaker 3: so let's enjoy it. We got to break it down
- 1:02:34Speaker 3: into negativity. We got to make common sense of a
- 1:02:40Speaker 3: situation that there is no common sense too, because we
- 1:02:43Speaker 3: don't know if Jesus was or is the son of God.
- 1:02:48Speaker 3: We know that he was a prophet, but we don't
- 1:02:51Speaker 3: know for sure, just as in the Jewish religion, we
- 1:02:55Speaker 3: don't know specific things for sure. But we celebrate it
- 1:03:00Speaker 3: because we hope in the hope that possibly, if this
- 1:03:05Speaker 3: is correct, that we have a place to go afterwards.
- 1:03:09Speaker 3: You know, that's all that stuff. So if I celebrate it,
- 1:03:13Speaker 3: and you celebrate Haneka, whatever, embrace it and don't be
- 1:03:17Speaker 3: a mayor who says, bah humbug.
- 1:03:19Speaker 2: Yeah, well it's more than bah humbug. It's dropping the
- 1:03:23Speaker 2: hammer and saying this is how it's going to be.
- 1:03:25Speaker 2: I mean, that's borderline dictatorship.
- 1:03:28Speaker 3: And well she probably learned that from Trump just saying.
- 1:03:35Speaker 2: I'm saying, it doesn't matter to me what you believe in,
- 1:03:41Speaker 2: what higher power you believe in, right, it doesn't matter
- 1:03:43Speaker 2: to me. If you don't believe in anything, correct, it
- 1:03:50Speaker 2: just doesn't matter to me right, if you're happy and
- 1:03:53Speaker 2: that's what you believe in, and you want to celebrate
- 1:03:56Speaker 2: that symbolically downtown, whether it's a wreath, whether it's a
- 1:04:03Speaker 2: Christmas tree, whether it's a drad what a minora, Nativity scene,
- 1:04:11Speaker 2: whatever it is.
- 1:04:15Speaker 3: All you're saying is just all you're saying, especially in
- 1:04:18Speaker 3: the businesses that we recognize and we celebrate your lifestyle.
- 1:04:25Speaker 2: Sure, that's it, okay, And it's more the lifestyle. It's
- 1:04:30Speaker 2: your culture. It's your culture and your your beliefs.
- 1:04:33Speaker 3: But unfortunately, there are people out there, especially the younger generation,
- 1:04:37Speaker 3: that have to dissect and rewrite history to conform to
- 1:04:43Speaker 3: their odd thinking. I don't want to use any other
- 1:04:49Speaker 3: word other than odd, because what what harm is it
- 1:04:55Speaker 3: doing versus education? Sure, okay, you have a little child
- 1:05:00Speaker 3: and you're walking down the street and you're a Jewish family,
- 1:05:03Speaker 3: and the child says, mommy, daddy, what is that tree?
- 1:05:07Speaker 3: Why is that tree lit up? Right? You're now educating
- 1:05:10Speaker 3: that child as to other religions that are available out there,
- 1:05:17Speaker 3: other cultures, Because I've always told my kids, when you
- 1:05:20Speaker 3: get to a certain age, you can decide for yourself
- 1:05:23Speaker 3: what you believe in, what you don't believe, and if
- 1:05:26Speaker 3: you have questions, you can always ask me. It's a
- 1:05:28Speaker 3: good way. That's great, that's great, dad, right there. You know. So,
- 1:05:31Speaker 3: I mean, my kids have decided what they decide based
- 1:05:34Speaker 3: on their growing up in their education. But I taught
- 1:05:38Speaker 3: them the Jewish religion. I taught them the Catholic religion.
- 1:05:41Speaker 3: You know. I showed them that there was people like
- 1:05:44Speaker 3: Gandhi and Buddha and all those things that were out there.
- 1:05:48Speaker 3: They need to know that for history's sake and education's sake. Yeah,
- 1:05:55Speaker 3: you know. Now, all my kids, from what I know,
- 1:05:57Speaker 3: celebrate Christmas. So I know Mas does, yeah, because he
- 1:06:03Speaker 3: has a tree at home, and he came for the
- 1:06:05Speaker 3: party and stuff like that, and he loves giving gifts.
- 1:06:08Speaker 3: But he knows what it means.
- 1:06:11Speaker 2: From my understanding. And if anyone looks into this and
- 1:06:16Speaker 2: finds out otherwise, this nativity scene in this marketplace parking
- 1:06:20Speaker 2: lot in Mullens, South Carolina is still there.
- 1:06:24Speaker 3: Good.
- 1:06:24Speaker 2: Uh And it's two days before Christmas. Yeah, jet here,
- 1:06:28Speaker 2: it's a really interesting point. I've got to read this.
- 1:06:33Speaker 2: He says public property is the correct place for a
- 1:06:36Speaker 2: nativity scene. Separation of church and state only applies to government,
- 1:06:41Speaker 2: right property.
- 1:06:43Speaker 3: Right. Absolutely, he's one hundred percent right.
- 1:06:48Speaker 2: There's some disturbing stuff that's also going on. When isn't there.
- 1:06:56Speaker 2: I know, I don't listen, and I'll say to you
- 1:06:59Speaker 2: right now, this really may rattle a few people, but
- 1:07:02Speaker 2: I'm gonna tell you anyways, because it's because it's in
- 1:07:04Speaker 2: the news, and the name is because you can. The
- 1:07:07Speaker 2: name of the podcast is haired out, so because you can.
- 1:07:10Speaker 2: I'm gonna yeah, this is gonna bother a couple of people,
- 1:07:13Speaker 2: but I'm gonna say there's a Texas church right now
- 1:07:19Speaker 2: by the way down at Mullins, South Carolina that's Bible Belt.
- 1:07:23Speaker 3: Oh yeah.
- 1:07:24Speaker 2: Even more surprising, there's a church in Texas that is
- 1:07:29Speaker 2: depicting the Holy Family in a cage wrapped in barbed wire. Wow,
- 1:07:40Speaker 2: in a Nativity display. There's a church in Illinois that
- 1:07:49Speaker 2: has a Nativity scene showing Baby Jesus zip tide by
- 1:07:55Speaker 2: ice agents.
- 1:07:57Speaker 3: Wow. That's making mistake it that's taking politics and religion together. Yeah. Uh,
- 1:08:08Speaker 3: you know, mhm.
- 1:08:10Speaker 2: In my opinion, in my belief, Jesus Christ is at
- 1:08:16Speaker 2: the center of Christmas, and there's no Christmas without Christ,
- 1:08:21Speaker 2: right period.
- 1:08:22Speaker 3: I agree, and I'm not I'm not trying to sound
- 1:08:27Speaker 3: like some holy roller. Right, I'm just saying that. And
- 1:08:30Speaker 3: you're not trying to push your beliefs on anybody. You're
- 1:08:35Speaker 3: sharing about you, right, And if anybody wants to dissect
- 1:08:39Speaker 3: that and say, ah, you're shutting up told anybody what
- 1:08:41Speaker 3: your belief is because you're a public figure and this
- 1:08:44Speaker 3: and that. No, you can share your beliefs. You can
- 1:08:48Speaker 3: tell people, but you don't preach it. Yeah. I think
- 1:08:52Speaker 3: that's what annoys me the most. And I understand in
- 1:08:55Speaker 3: church you preach it because that's what you do in church.
- 1:08:59Speaker 3: But the people that are out on the streets that
- 1:09:01Speaker 3: are pushing their religion and getting angry at you, if
- 1:09:06Speaker 3: you're not acknowledging that. It's like people, why are you
- 1:09:11Speaker 3: pushing your why do you have to which? I get it.
- 1:09:14Speaker 3: You want to save people, I get it.
- 1:09:17Speaker 2: We should all acknowledge everyone else.
- 1:09:22Speaker 3: Right. Education is important, but don't push it with respect. Yes,
- 1:09:27Speaker 3: do it respectfully.
- 1:09:29Speaker 2: Education.
- 1:09:29Speaker 3: Man. You know, I grew up in a Catholic family
- 1:09:32Speaker 3: church every Sunday, the whole thing, Okay, But on Young
- 1:09:37Speaker 3: Kapoor we would go to my neighbor's house who's Jewish,
- 1:09:42Speaker 3: and we would celebrate with the dinner amazing, okay, And
- 1:09:46Speaker 3: we'd eat their foods and they would come over for
- 1:09:49Speaker 3: our Christmas dinner. I love that, okay, because it was
- 1:09:53Speaker 3: I got to learn about the Sata dinners, and I
- 1:09:57Speaker 3: got to learn about the Hebrews and all that my
- 1:10:00Speaker 3: neighbor agree and it educated me beyond the Catholic faith. Sure, okay,
- 1:10:08Speaker 3: I just happened to believe that Jesus Christ is is
- 1:10:12Speaker 3: the Lord's Son. So I don't switch over to the Judaism,
- 1:10:17Speaker 3: even though there's a lot of things in that I
- 1:10:19Speaker 3: believe in, But I don't switch to that because they
- 1:10:22Speaker 3: don't They acknowledge it that Jesus was a prophet, but
- 1:10:25Speaker 3: they don't acknowledge that he was the son of God.
- 1:10:29Speaker 3: So therefore I can't accept that part of that religion.
- 1:10:33Speaker 3: But it's educating yourself to the different religious with no
- 1:10:37Speaker 3: bias that allows you to then choose what you comfortably
- 1:10:42Speaker 3: feel in your heart works. You know, That's it's as
- 1:10:46Speaker 3: simple as that. I literally hear you, and I'm saying
- 1:10:52Speaker 3: for those people that say I'm atheist, because you're not
- 1:10:54Speaker 3: giving yourself an opportunity to believe or hope for something.
- 1:10:58Speaker 2: We so many of us uh, have closed our minds
- 1:11:03Speaker 2: and we've just said that's that's the way it is, right,
- 1:11:08Speaker 2: and that's right, which is too bad.
- 1:11:12Speaker 3: Yeah, and they look at the church and they say, well,
- 1:11:14Speaker 3: all these priest molesting boys. I can't this and that,
- 1:11:16Speaker 3: blah blah blah. Yeah, you don't blame the sins of
- 1:11:19Speaker 3: the father on the sins of the children. Okay, So
- 1:11:23Speaker 3: that's the same thing with the church. They have sins
- 1:11:26Speaker 3: within the church. Well, guess what the church does have
- 1:11:29Speaker 3: human beings running it. Okay, it's the it's the human
- 1:11:34Speaker 3: nature of some people to do inappropriate things, whether you're
- 1:11:38Speaker 3: whether you're part of the Catholic faith or the Jewish
- 1:11:40Speaker 3: faith or anywhere else. Okay. I don't in any way
- 1:11:45Speaker 3: condone any of the actions. I'm just saying, you can't
- 1:11:49Speaker 3: look at the mass few right and judge the entire mass. Yeah.
- 1:11:55Speaker 3: All you can say is this mass needs to address
- 1:11:58Speaker 3: this to fix it. Yeah. Sure, but that's that's Yeah,
- 1:12:04Speaker 3: So that's gone with the legend people.
- 1:12:06Speaker 2: Another rabbit hole.
- 1:12:08Speaker 3: Yep, that's a rabbit hole I'm climbing out of right now.
- 1:12:14Speaker 2: I want to I want to just take a minute
- 1:12:16Speaker 2: here and give a shout out to the Central Vermont
- 1:12:20Speaker 2: Chamber of Commerce. They are reminding us as the we've
- 1:12:26Speaker 2: just got a couple of days left in the ear
- 1:12:28Speaker 2: that we're we're closing out twenty twenty five amazing. They
- 1:12:32Speaker 2: want to take a moment to celebrate the incredible spirit
- 1:12:36Speaker 2: of our Central Vermont community. They know that the holiday
- 1:12:41Speaker 2: season is a time to reflect on what brings us together.
- 1:12:45Speaker 2: What an important message. Yes, this is Yes, our shared
- 1:12:48Speaker 2: values are resilient local businesses, the unwavering support that we
- 1:12:54Speaker 2: show one another.
- 1:12:55Speaker 3: Let's be honest.
- 1:12:56Speaker 2: This past year has been rough on small business Oh yeah,
- 1:13:00Speaker 2: before that, rough on small businesses. Yes, this year, the
- 1:13:07Speaker 2: Central Vermont Chamber of Commerce is saying, look, stop for
- 1:13:11Speaker 2: a second, take a deep breath, and realize that we
- 1:13:15Speaker 2: have all witnessed inspiring acts of kindness. Businesses helping other businesses,
- 1:13:26Speaker 2: competing businesses helping competing businesses. Right, Please shop local. That's
- 1:13:35Speaker 2: one of the big things they want to point out.
- 1:13:37Speaker 2: Please volunteer your time if you can spread goodwill and
- 1:13:43Speaker 2: continue the momentum that we have of making Central Vermont
- 1:13:48Speaker 2: stronger every single day. There we got Chris delivering our
- 1:13:54Speaker 2: world newspaper. What a great guy, and I'm going to
- 1:13:59Speaker 2: be thumbing through that later today with a hot cup
- 1:14:02Speaker 2: of coffee, and I can't wait. And and my readers,
- 1:14:08Speaker 2: oh yeah, readers, coffee the world.
- 1:14:16Speaker 3: Do you know? I did not have any coffee this morning?
- 1:14:19Speaker 3: I know.
- 1:14:19Speaker 2: And you know what You've been doing great? You really have?
- 1:14:23Speaker 3: Yeah, doing great without coffee, I know, I mean, what
- 1:14:26Speaker 3: the f So just to.
- 1:14:29Speaker 2: Sum up what the Central Vermont Chamber of Commerce is saying,
- 1:14:31Speaker 2: their big message is to be positive, Yes, going into
- 1:14:37Speaker 2: even if twenty twenty five was a crappy year, be
- 1:14:40Speaker 2: positive going into twenty twenty six. Yeah, support nonprofits, celebrate together,
- 1:14:47Speaker 2: celebrate even our differences. Yeah together. Become a member of
- 1:14:52Speaker 2: the Chamber of Commerce. I am here it aired out,
- 1:14:55Speaker 2: will always be and just renewed my membership and I
- 1:14:59Speaker 2: love them.
- 1:15:00Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:15:00Speaker 2: And they want to wish everyone a joyful holiday season
- 1:15:03Speaker 2: and a happy new year.
- 1:15:04Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:15:05Speaker 2: If you are doing some last minute Christmas shopping, grab
- 1:15:09Speaker 2: a gift card. Yeah if if if you're quick, you
- 1:15:13Speaker 2: want to be quick and simple, yep, grab a gift card.
- 1:15:16Speaker 2: You're still supporting local businesses by doing that.
- 1:15:19Speaker 3: By the wrapping paper, by the wrapping paper, you know,
- 1:15:21Speaker 3: get the get the tissue paper, by your tape. You know,
- 1:15:25Speaker 3: all those little things add up.
- 1:15:27Speaker 2: If there's so many of us, we got so much
- 1:15:29Speaker 2: on our minds, we get locked. We get locked real like,
- 1:15:31Speaker 2: oh my god, I don't know what to do. Yeah,
- 1:15:33Speaker 2: be creative, Like look at go over to FGB theaters,
- 1:15:36Speaker 2: uh huh in the Capitol show Place, Theater Montillier or
- 1:15:39Speaker 2: the Gramount twin right here, and a ticket.
- 1:15:42Speaker 3: We'll get a gift. You get a gift card. That's
- 1:15:44Speaker 3: not as easy, but yeah, get a gift Okay, that
- 1:15:48Speaker 3: hours hard to get gift cards. You gotta go there.
- 1:15:51Speaker 3: We got to go there when they're open there. It
- 1:15:54Speaker 3: is usually when they're showing six thirty at night, right,
- 1:15:57Speaker 3: that's when you got to go go there and get
- 1:16:00Speaker 3: a gift certificate, put it in someone's stocking yep, and say, hey.
- 1:16:05Speaker 2: Movie, Yeah you want to supplement. Make a gift certificate
- 1:16:09Speaker 2: that says, plus, I'm gonna make you dinner on the
- 1:16:12Speaker 2: night of our movie.
- 1:16:13Speaker 3: Right. Yeah.
- 1:16:15Speaker 2: It's not going to break the bank.
- 1:16:16Speaker 3: Che no. And that's the other thing is a lot
- 1:16:19Speaker 3: of people like I can't afford this, I can't afford that.
- 1:16:22Speaker 3: Make something, make something, Okay, sometimes that's nice. They say, well,
- 1:16:28Speaker 3: I'm not talented. You know people well, you know people
- 1:16:31Speaker 3: that you could throw them a few bucks to make
- 1:16:33Speaker 3: you something.
- 1:16:34Speaker 2: You know, here's the thing. When you say make something,
- 1:16:36Speaker 2: a lot of people automatically kind of default to crafts
- 1:16:40Speaker 2: that you have to be.
- 1:16:41Speaker 3: Make cupcakes, yeah, Make some banana bread, yeah, make it.
- 1:16:44Speaker 3: Make a nice banana bread and bring it to somebody's home,
- 1:16:47Speaker 3: wrapped up nicely, throw a gift card on it.
- 1:16:51Speaker 2: Chuck made me some delicious cupcakes. Now, after I had
- 1:16:57Speaker 2: one cupcake, I almost die.
- 1:17:02Speaker 3: I don't.
- 1:17:03Speaker 2: I still don't know why. But at my heart I
- 1:17:06Speaker 2: had palpitations.
- 1:17:08Speaker 3: But you still don't know why make Maybe there's too
- 1:17:15Speaker 3: much vanilla in it? Do not?
- 1:17:18Speaker 2: I think that might have been because there's alcohol in
- 1:17:20Speaker 2: the vanilla.
- 1:17:21Speaker 3: That's what it is.
- 1:17:22Speaker 2: Is that why purple elephants were jumping over the mask.
- 1:17:25Speaker 3: That's why he probably put a teaspoone and a half
- 1:17:29Speaker 3: of vanilla instead of a teaspoone.
- 1:17:30Speaker 2: Do not receive any Christmas cookies or cupcakes or muffins
- 1:17:36Speaker 2: or breads or anything from Chuck.
- 1:17:38Speaker 3: Because clearly he doesn't know how to use the vanilla.
- 1:17:41Speaker 2: No, you know, Becky, look at this idea from Becky
- 1:17:45Speaker 2: a thunder Road gift certificate.
- 1:17:47Speaker 3: Yeah. So, I mean there's so many creative ways that
- 1:17:50Speaker 3: you can absolutely absolutely get.
- 1:17:53Speaker 2: Out there, shop local. Uh, get something that's that's handmade
- 1:17:59Speaker 2: here in.
- 1:17:59Speaker 3: Front, right. I mean when when the craft Fair came
- 1:18:03Speaker 3: to Essex to the what is it there up there,
- 1:18:09Speaker 3: the big craft.
- 1:18:09Speaker 2: Oh yeah, yeah, the big Yeah. I don't know, I
- 1:18:12Speaker 2: don't remember the name.
- 1:18:13Speaker 3: Of it, but Tracy and I went up there that
- 1:18:15Speaker 3: was like two months ago and a half months ago,
- 1:18:17Speaker 3: and we were buying Christmas gifts there, Sure, and you know, people,
- 1:18:22Speaker 3: I heard people going, oh, the price of this, and
- 1:18:24Speaker 3: I'm like, people, this is this is these people's livelihoods. Sure,
- 1:18:29Speaker 3: this is what they do. They put a lot of
- 1:18:31Speaker 3: labor and a lot of love and a lot of
- 1:18:32Speaker 3: craftsmanship into what they do, all the way down to
- 1:18:35Speaker 3: the soaps and the candles which I had in the
- 1:18:39Speaker 3: bathroom during the holiday party, A nice square bar of
- 1:18:43Speaker 3: soap sure with a beautiful smell in it that I
- 1:18:46Speaker 3: got at the craft fair that supported somebody else, right,
- 1:18:50Speaker 3: you know, And I bought three bars, so right now
- 1:18:52Speaker 3: one's out, but I have two backups, you know. And
- 1:18:55Speaker 3: this is all part of supporting local businesses. And supporting
- 1:18:58Speaker 3: local cree because there are also a lot of crafty
- 1:19:02Speaker 3: people out there that know how to make stuff syrups
- 1:19:05Speaker 3: and yeah, food and you know candles, right, and I
- 1:19:10Speaker 3: have boards and all different stuff. Yeah, I have a.
- 1:19:15Speaker 2: Ghost pepper infused maple syrup. Wow, how is that unbelievable? Yeah,
- 1:19:23Speaker 2: I think Jed had some when he came over.
- 1:19:26Speaker 3: He probably did. I don't know.
- 1:19:28Speaker 2: I'm gonna make some jerky over the next couple of days,
- 1:19:33Speaker 2: venison jerky. Gonna make some of that I have, so
- 1:19:36Speaker 2: you don't hunt. You just wait for somebody to hunt
- 1:19:38Speaker 2: and bring your vanis in. But here's the thing that's
- 1:19:43Speaker 2: the smart way to do it.
- 1:19:44Speaker 3: Here's the thing.
- 1:19:45Speaker 2: I will get a chunk of venison and I'll give
- 1:19:48Speaker 2: about eighty I'll turn it into jerky and I'll give
- 1:19:52Speaker 2: about eighty percent of it back. And they know this, right,
- 1:19:54Speaker 2: I'm going to keep about twenty percent.
- 1:19:56Speaker 3: Right.
- 1:19:56Speaker 2: I make a venison jerky called whoop ass uh huh oh.
- 1:20:03Speaker 2: It will put hair on your navel. Yeah, if you
- 1:20:06Speaker 2: don't have any.
- 1:20:09Speaker 3: So basically, so basically you spice it up.
- 1:20:12Speaker 2: Yes, Jed loves it, he's had it. But yeah, yeah,
- 1:20:17Speaker 2: I never had it. I'm gonna take you.
- 1:20:19Speaker 3: Haven't.
- 1:20:20Speaker 2: No, I'm just saying I'll make I'm gonna make you
- 1:20:25Speaker 2: some here over the next couple of days.
- 1:20:26Speaker 3: Flowing the eyes.
- 1:20:30Speaker 2: I'm gonna take tomorrow and be with family. Yep, tomorrow's
- 1:20:35Speaker 2: Christmas eve Day. Yes, Christmas Eve, I'm gonna be with family.
- 1:20:39Speaker 2: Christmas Day, I'm gonna be with family. Christmas Night. Friday,
- 1:20:43Speaker 2: the twenty sixth, Boxing Day, the day after christmasp Shearylyn's English. Yeah,
- 1:20:51Speaker 2: so that's when we watch all of the boxing matches.
- 1:20:55Speaker 2: Jed and I like watching that stuff.
- 1:20:57Speaker 3: We like watching boxing and MMA and were constantly no,
- 1:21:02Speaker 3: both different kinds both. I was just joking though, Oh no,
- 1:21:06Speaker 3: we do enjoy boxing. Yeah, but they English they call
- 1:21:12Speaker 3: it boxing Day because of the boxes, the Christmas boxes.
- 1:21:15Speaker 2: Oh that's silly, not boxing. I was joking and you
- 1:21:19Speaker 2: bought it. Well, but we do enjoy boxing, and I understand.
- 1:21:23Speaker 2: But you fell right into my tree.
- 1:21:24Speaker 3: I probably did. But that's a that's a dumb name.
- 1:21:27Speaker 3: What do they do with the boxes? You need to
- 1:21:31Speaker 3: call Shirley and ask her. Seriously, I don't know what
- 1:21:35Speaker 3: boxing is, boxing day whatever, I don't know. We box
- 1:21:40Speaker 3: up the things that are boxes we don't want and
- 1:21:45Speaker 3: we regift them next year. I don't, I don't. I
- 1:21:49Speaker 3: don't know is regifting good or bad.
- 1:21:53Speaker 2: I think regifting is wonderful. I don't have a problem
- 1:21:56Speaker 2: with that at all, right, I don't, right.
- 1:22:00Speaker 3: I like regifting because I'd rather somebody else get something
- 1:22:04Speaker 3: that doesn't work for me. But it's lovely then too.
- 1:22:10Speaker 3: I don't regift because I didn't go out and buy
- 1:22:13Speaker 3: a gift, so I'm gonna use one of mine that
- 1:22:15Speaker 3: to me is tacky. Yeah, okay, even though nobody would know,
- 1:22:18Speaker 3: it's still tacky. But I do regift, Like if somebody
- 1:22:22Speaker 3: gives me a beautiful lenox picture, Yeah right, I don't
- 1:22:25Speaker 3: use lenox, okay, So I would then take that and
- 1:22:30Speaker 3: we gifted to somebody I know does have lenox and
- 1:22:33Speaker 3: use and enjoys it.
- 1:22:34Speaker 2: Interesting, you know. Boxing Day celebrated on December twenty sixth
- 1:22:40Speaker 2: in the UK and the Commonwealth nations. Okay, originated as
- 1:22:44Speaker 2: a day for the wealthy to give Christmas boxes with gifts,
- 1:22:49Speaker 2: money and leftovers to servants and the poor who worked
- 1:22:53Speaker 2: on Christmas Day. It's similar to black friend over in
- 1:23:00Speaker 2: the UK. Why they have huge post Christmas sales well,
- 1:23:08Speaker 2: that's that's fair.
- 1:23:10Speaker 3: Yep.
- 1:23:10Speaker 2: It's also a day that's linked to horse racing and rugby,
- 1:23:15Speaker 2: also known as Saint Stephen's Day.
- 1:23:18Speaker 3: Oh okay, so that's what. How am I going to
- 1:23:22Speaker 3: celebrate Boxing Day with Sherylyn oh Boxing TV? With a coffee?
- 1:23:26Speaker 2: Thank you? I really don't know, Yeah, I really don't.
- 1:23:31Speaker 3: Does she do anything on Boxing Day? Nothing?
- 1:23:34Speaker 2: So why does she even? Yes, she drinks copious amounts
- 1:23:38Speaker 2: of English tea. Well, there you go, PG Tips day,
- 1:23:42Speaker 2: you go, there you go.
- 1:23:44Speaker 3: Yeah. My son and his girlfriend gave us a box
- 1:23:49Speaker 3: of fresh ground Honduras coffee. Oh yeah, so I can't
- 1:23:55Speaker 3: wait because he says, when you drink it, you don't
- 1:23:57Speaker 3: need any cream, you don't need any sugar. It's just
- 1:24:00Speaker 3: so delightful. Oh wow, Yeah, Jed gonna have some of
- 1:24:04Speaker 3: that probably, Okay, I would hope. Wow. Yeah. So I'm
- 1:24:14Speaker 3: gonna take some a couple of days off here. Yeah, and.
- 1:24:18Speaker 2: I might be you know, I might throw on the
- 1:24:21Speaker 2: camera at the house here and there. Right, for the
- 1:24:24Speaker 2: most part, I'm gonna be unplugged, right, and I'm looking
- 1:24:28Speaker 2: forward to it.
- 1:24:28Speaker 3: Well, I was gonna say, it's nice to unplug for
- 1:24:30Speaker 3: a little while. Too. I mean, people enjoy what you do,
- 1:24:34Speaker 3: and that's great, but at nine o'clock in the morning
- 1:24:39Speaker 3: on Christmas Day, they're probably getting ready for something anyway. Sure,
- 1:24:43Speaker 3: and honestly, you should be with your family and you
- 1:24:46Speaker 3: should be watching those movies and playing that music. I
- 1:24:49Speaker 3: believe at the beginning of my party, for a while
- 1:24:52Speaker 3: there was The Grinch playing. The movie was playing on mute,
- 1:24:57Speaker 3: but the music from my Alexa was playing all Christmas
- 1:25:01Speaker 3: music and not the new What's.
- 1:25:05Speaker 2: Up with Dave doing the dropkick Murphy's I don't know
- 1:25:08Speaker 2: threw everything off? Oh my god, weld. Yeah, we were
- 1:25:13Speaker 2: listening to such great music and then he.
- 1:25:17Speaker 3: Dave stands up and says, oh, what's up and starts
- 1:25:20Speaker 3: telling her to play that, and I was like, what, Yeah,
- 1:25:24Speaker 3: how do we handle things like that? We did it politely.
- 1:25:28Speaker 3: We don't allow drama at our parties. We allow a
- 1:25:31Speaker 3: lot of laughter and stuff like that. But that's what
- 1:25:34Speaker 3: the holiday season is. You know, some of those people
- 1:25:36Speaker 3: I haven't seen in a while, okay, but they had
- 1:25:39Speaker 3: dear friends. Yeah, So it was nice to be able
- 1:25:42Speaker 3: to get together and do that. Our previous tradition was
- 1:25:47Speaker 3: on Christmas Day at nighttime, people would come over and
- 1:25:51Speaker 3: we would do desserts, different desserts, okay, and no exchanging
- 1:25:56Speaker 3: of gifts or anything. Just they'd come over, like about
- 1:25:58Speaker 3: six seven o'clock you would do desert. Yeah. Now that
- 1:26:03Speaker 3: we're up here where I live, now, we've decided we're
- 1:26:06Speaker 3: going to do it every year as a Christmas dinner
- 1:26:09Speaker 3: kind of a thing. Party. Next year it's going to
- 1:26:13Speaker 3: be the Crampis and Grinch God, so people can choose
- 1:26:16Speaker 3: their their weapon wisely, because there was some crampus in
- 1:26:22Speaker 3: my house. Yeah, that black upside down tree, not only
- 1:26:26Speaker 3: is it black, but it's also upside down. And I
- 1:26:29Speaker 3: was I'm just that that that's I'm not used to
- 1:26:31Speaker 3: seeing a Christmas tree. And yet when you finally did
- 1:26:35Speaker 3: see it up personally, you were like, that's not bad
- 1:26:38Speaker 3: at all. True. Yeah, I did say that.
- 1:26:40Speaker 2: Yeah, but I'm just not saying I'm not used to
- 1:26:43Speaker 2: seeing a black Christmas tree, especially one that's upside down.
- 1:26:46Speaker 3: Right. Well, you know, but the year again, probably a
- 1:26:49Speaker 3: week or two weeks before Christmas, will do another party.
- 1:26:53Speaker 3: But to see how many of your listeners want to
- 1:26:55Speaker 3: be invited, then again, you're a little upside down. I
- 1:27:00Speaker 3: am in many ways but I don't care. I know
- 1:27:03Speaker 3: you don't. That's why people love you. Yes, you know
- 1:27:07Speaker 3: I tell people all the time, if you don't like
- 1:27:09Speaker 3: me or you don't like what I say, just can't
- 1:27:11Speaker 3: cancel me. I'm okay with that. Yeah, And I was
- 1:27:13Speaker 3: talking to my son about that because I didn't understand
- 1:27:17Speaker 3: this whole cancel thing until I spoke to him. This
- 1:27:20Speaker 3: was months ago, and he explained, Masmo okay, And he
- 1:27:23Speaker 3: explained to me what cancel is and how it feels
- 1:27:27Speaker 3: because it happened to him and I didn't know anything
- 1:27:31Speaker 3: about that. So now that I understand canceling, cancel me.
- 1:27:37Speaker 2: What do I have to do to get Moss to
- 1:27:40Speaker 2: come on aired out live by phone.
- 1:27:44Speaker 3: And do that? You just have to call him?
- 1:27:47Speaker 2: All right, We're gonna do that. Well that's gonna happen
- 1:27:49Speaker 2: in twenty twenty six. Yeah, because he said.
- 1:27:51Speaker 3: Call me anytime. We'll talk about anything. And he's very insightful.
- 1:27:55Speaker 2: Unbelievable.
- 1:27:56Speaker 3: He is very insightful, and he's very you know, Masmo
- 1:27:59Speaker 3: used to be first of all, he was a very
- 1:28:01Speaker 3: sweet kid. And then when he went into the military,
- 1:28:03Speaker 3: when he came out, you know, he he was rough
- 1:28:07Speaker 3: around the edges. Yeah, you know, because he's seen things
- 1:28:10Speaker 3: that we don't want to see and he knows things
- 1:28:12Speaker 3: that we don't want to know.
- 1:28:14Speaker 2: Yeah, okay, well special forces serious man.
- 1:28:17Speaker 3: Yeah. But then he met this wonderful girl and she's
- 1:28:21Speaker 3: really helped him to smooth it out when she came. Yeah,
- 1:28:24Speaker 3: when he came this time, he was very calm, cool, collected.
- 1:28:28Speaker 3: He was profound yep, you know, and he had some
- 1:28:33Speaker 3: very good insight on things and more understanding of things
- 1:28:37Speaker 3: that didn't work for him but still accept it because
- 1:28:40Speaker 3: it works for others. So it was it's nice to
- 1:28:44Speaker 3: know that that can happen, you know.
- 1:28:47Speaker 2: Do you know what Moss said to me? He said,
- 1:28:52Speaker 2: did you get a did you get an inappropriate white
- 1:28:55Speaker 2: elephant gift? Here for the secret Santa? I said, oh yeah,
- 1:29:00Speaker 2: and he goes, you know what, when I see it,
- 1:29:04Speaker 2: I'm going to know it's yours. And I said, no,
- 1:29:09Speaker 2: you're not, and he said, oh, yes, I am. And
- 1:29:13Speaker 2: I said how are you going to know? And he said,
- 1:29:15Speaker 2: trust me, I'm just going to give you a look
- 1:29:18Speaker 2: when I know that it came from you. And sure enough,
- 1:29:24Speaker 2: son of a bitch. Yep, somebody opened up that penis
- 1:29:29Speaker 2: gun squirt gun that was in the shape of a
- 1:29:33Speaker 2: penis with a penis lollipop. And I looked over at
- 1:29:37Speaker 2: Moss and he went just like this. He looked right
- 1:29:43Speaker 2: at me, and I was like, yep, oh god, god, yeah,
- 1:29:48Speaker 2: just got a text message here. Ask your listeners how
- 1:29:51Speaker 2: many times Clark Griswold, says Eddie when he shows up
- 1:29:55Speaker 2: unexpectedly during the initial lighting of the house in the
- 1:29:59Speaker 2: now on Lampoon's Christmas vacation. I'm going to I'm going
- 1:30:02Speaker 2: to count the times tonight when we watch it, and
- 1:30:07Speaker 2: I will report back and I'll post it up.
- 1:30:09Speaker 3: Excellent, I'll post it up. I'm sure that's a very
- 1:30:12Speaker 3: important post for people.
- 1:30:13Speaker 2: Yes, apparently, I don't know.
- 1:30:16Speaker 3: Apparently, I don't know what.
- 1:30:17Speaker 2: The significance is.
- 1:30:18Speaker 3: I don't know, but clearly somebody who texts you that
- 1:30:21Speaker 3: meant something. We have.
- 1:30:25Speaker 2: In the last ninety minutes taken folks on a journey
- 1:30:30Speaker 2: yep that has gone from Nativity scenes yep.
- 1:30:39Speaker 3: To pickles and penises. You said it.
- 1:30:46Speaker 2: I didn't, but you're right.
- 1:30:48Speaker 3: Yeah, who bought it? Chuck?
- 1:30:52Speaker 4: No?
- 1:30:53Speaker 3: What?
- 1:30:54Speaker 1: No?
- 1:30:54Speaker 4: What?
- 1:30:56Speaker 3: Chuck bought the ball?
- 1:30:58Speaker 2: You got the penis, the pickles, the penises, the ball gags.
- 1:31:06Speaker 3: Michael, not that we're saying anybody who were naming Michael
- 1:31:12Speaker 3: from Chuck. We have just.
- 1:31:19Speaker 2: Gone around the moon. Yeah, we really have.
- 1:31:22Speaker 3: Yeah, and all that because all we want to do
- 1:31:25Speaker 3: is wish everybody a wonderful, wonderful you're closing out. I
- 1:31:30Speaker 3: know what you're doing right now, you're closing. I just
- 1:31:32Speaker 3: want to wish everybody a wonderful, wonderful Christmas holiday, a
- 1:31:36Speaker 3: safe and happy new Year. And please remember it's just
- 1:31:40Speaker 3: about family. Yes, no drama. Okay, this drama out there
- 1:31:46Speaker 3: and we're going to run into it every day, but
- 1:31:48Speaker 3: spend this time with your family. And if you don't
- 1:31:52Speaker 3: have family, call a friend, bake, bake yourself a nice dinner. Yes,
- 1:31:58Speaker 3: do something for you and for your friends and for
- 1:32:02Speaker 3: your family, and have a wonderful, wonderful holiday season.
- 1:32:05Speaker 2: And don't forget our first responders are L and A's
- 1:32:09Speaker 2: everyone that is working on Christmas. Do if you can
- 1:32:15Speaker 2: do something for them, make a couple of something. At
- 1:32:20Speaker 2: least if you don't have anything to give, at least
- 1:32:22Speaker 2: say thank you for working.
- 1:32:24Speaker 3: On Christmas, correct, because that's important.
- 1:32:27Speaker 2: And I just want to say, if you're out to
- 1:32:29Speaker 2: some last minute shopping today tonight, during the during the snow,
- 1:32:33Speaker 2: the roads are Please drive carefully, put.
- 1:32:39Speaker 3: The damn.
- 1:32:41Speaker 2: Shopping card back, don't leave it in a space that
- 1:32:52Speaker 2: no one can park.
- 1:32:54Speaker 3: At my right. Oh, Jad's here. We should let we
- 1:33:00Speaker 3: should make him go on the air. He's not gonna.
- 1:33:03Speaker 3: I know. He hates him. He's afraid, he won't do it.
- 1:33:06Speaker 3: He's scared.
- 1:33:08Speaker 2: Like Key's are right over there somewhere, I don't know.
- 1:33:11Speaker 2: Oh you want me to get up. But have a
- 1:33:13Speaker 2: wonderful Christmas. As Stacey says, God bless you all, and
- 1:33:18Speaker 2: Merry Christmas. Yes, and we say Merry Christmas. And as
- 1:33:22Speaker 2: tiny Tim would say, God bless us all. Beautiful, beautiful,
- 1:33:28Speaker 2: thank you, gee, thank you. He's been an amazing twenty
- 1:33:31Speaker 2: twenty five with you. I love you to pieces. I
- 1:33:35Speaker 2: love you and I cannot wait till you're back on
- 1:33:37Speaker 2: the air with me. Yep, okay, Mary be back on
- 1:33:40Speaker 2: twenty twenty six. Yes you will see you soon.
- 1:33:43Speaker 3: Happy holidays.
- 1:34:00Speaker 4: In fact, at the inducted by battably inducting doctor Batt
- 1:35:00Speaker 4: h
