- 0:12Episode 213 The State of the Union is Med welcome
- 0:23motherfuckers. But with your soul tie down,
- 0:41we'll just beaten them all right now.
- 0:47Yeah, I should probably close my mouth, but looking at you, I
- 0:55just don't know how. On a mission.
- 1:03She ain't even chasing all the buggers.
- 1:05She's sitting there and I've been getting it wrong.
- 1:07It's been her long. But pray right there.
- 1:10I swear, I swear these girls want to ruin my ruin my world.
- 1:16Only ever any full of money in the first.
- 1:18You already got what the mother was put in.
- 1:21Put her something. By the way, you.
- 1:25This is great podcasting. We're waiting for Joseph.
- 1:27Hold on, I got. He took to quietly do something
- 1:31that we're unaware of right after he counted me down.
- 1:35Are you going to let me? Are you going to let me say what
- 1:37it is? I'm having issues with the
- 1:41microphone action on my microphone for some reason on
- 1:48the stream, but I'm fixing it. Yeah, it's been a crazy couple
- 1:56of weeks for me, but things are finally starting to kind of
- 2:01balance out. I've been consumed with all of
- 2:05this crazy State of the Union shit, which obviously we'll get
- 2:10into, but it's absolute madness. I had no plans to watch it, but
- 2:17my boy Tim Miller over at the Bulwark was live shit, shit
- 2:24posting it or like he was on YouTube live.
- 2:28Yeah. And then other people from the
- 2:30Bulwark came on. So I just had that on in the
- 2:32background. And then, yeah, just was it
- 2:39like, I don't know, like, was it a surprise?
- 2:41Like, I don't think it was like, to me, like AI could have made
- 2:45that, you know? Yeah.
- 2:52Well, we'll get more into it. I mean, I didn't plan on
- 2:54watching it. It was the hundred.
- 2:57It was a hour and 48 minutes. So it is now the longest State
- 3:03of the Union address in the history of the State of the
- 3:06Union, totally on purpose, obviously.
- 3:11Not overcompensating for anything.
- 3:13Yeah, definitely not. Definitely not Trying to do like
- 3:17the whole thing is so stupid. And and just just another just
- 3:24if you want to check if while we're checking boxes of fascist
- 3:29moves, it's like dictators are like that's like cliche is that
- 3:35they have super long speeches like fucking your boy over in
- 3:39Cuba. Castro used to like, do speeches
- 3:44for like, hours. Yeah, I mean, that's.
- 3:48Oh, damn. Now it's actually like working.
- 3:51And that's too powerful. But you could see that.
- 3:54I mean, like I said, we'll save some of it, but I didn't plan on
- 3:57watching it. And then I got sucked into it.
- 3:59And then I was just sitting there the whole time being like,
- 4:02what the fuck am I watching? What the fuck is this right now?
- 4:06That was, I was texting somebody that I work with who was stuck
- 4:11at work being like, are you watching this?
- 4:13And then, yeah, I think I texted you.
- 4:16I was like, are you watching this shit?
- 4:18At that point I had, I had gone to the shower.
- 4:21That makes sense. I, I needed to take a shower.
- 4:23No, actually I'd been like really, really sick, like and
- 4:27it's like we cancelled. Last night 'cause you were sick.
- 4:30Yeah, like kind of what do you expect?
- 4:33Like I was like grinding like in between two casinos playing
- 4:38poker like for two like I was. Playing.
- 4:41I was gambling so hard. I got sick, baby.
- 4:44Pretty much like, I mean, cause like first like just you're
- 4:47dealing with cards, right, That everybody's touching, you're
- 4:51sitting in like a circle with like people close by.
- 4:54Yeah, yeah. And then and then I'm around and
- 4:57then people are getting shuffled in and.
- 4:58Out the day-to-day hygiene of somebody who's grinding all day
- 5:01between two casinos. I know and I don't think to like
- 5:07like wash my hands other than when I'm going to the bathroom,
- 5:09you know, like like I, I do think of it, but I not as much
- 5:13as I should. If I, you know what I'm saying,
- 5:16Like you need to be like, like sometimes I'll go home.
- 5:19I'll go home and not think about washing my hands after like just
- 5:23six hours straight of poker. I was like, what was I doing?
- 5:27Yeah, you need to do you need to get some anti back dude, a
- 5:31little. But when I got COVID, which was
- 5:33like years after, like the pandemic, you know, popped off
- 5:39was from the poker room for sure.
- 5:45I could see that. Yeah, but the but this was also
- 5:47like lack of sleep 'cause I'm like grinding late, like like
- 5:50I'm going, you know, I'm, I'm like really exerting myself to
- 5:55do like a a true poker grind, you know?
- 6:01Like a Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen sleepover VHS tape, you're
- 6:06pulling an all nighter. Right.
- 6:08Like I'm like, I want to prove to myself that I'm built for
- 6:12that grind and I want to see it, see if I built.
- 6:14For that life, right? Right.
- 6:17Built for it. I built it.
- 6:19I built that life. That's right, I started the
- 6:22wave. Y'all just surfing it?
- 6:24Yeah, shit, I did the insulation on the House.
- 6:27That is that life. Oh, I did the foundation.
- 6:31Oh, and he shot the breathe with it.
- 6:38Yeah, and dude. So anyways, I got sick.
- 6:42My phone is getting blown up with like, vote for Ken Paxton,
- 6:47vote for Donald Trump. Donald Trump likes this
- 6:49Comptroller. Donald Trump likes the city
- 6:51manager. Like they are flooding this area
- 6:56and anybody that's a voter with like so much shit right now,
- 7:01it's insane. Well, I mean, that's because the
- 7:03fucking alarm bells went off when.
- 7:06Oh yeah, 'cause they're crashing out the.
- 7:07Democrat won the state Senate seat there in Tarrant County.
- 7:12It's like, yeah, so that's Ground Zero, dude.
- 7:14South Lake Tarrant County always Ground Zero for this.
- 7:17You know, this MAGA mess, whether it's, you know, school
- 7:19board shit or, you know, state championship football games,
- 7:24bitch. That's been a while since we've
- 7:27won one. Of them, yeah, that's for sure.
- 7:282017 I think is the last time we won it.
- 7:32Yeah, what happened? It's just they don't have the
- 7:35essence of us like we. We just had a winning culture.
- 7:42Big facts. It ran through all sports like I
- 7:46was going to state championships playing.
- 7:48It's the ultimate living in this area and talking to some old,
- 7:52like dad just talking like, oh, I went to school.
- 7:55What would you play football? Yep.
- 7:57And then they just go on tangents and just want to talk
- 7:59about it for forever. Easiest icebreaker ever in this
- 8:02area. It's like, Oh yeah, I played
- 8:03football something because it's like we were like.
- 8:05Literally like we were really good part of like a legendary
- 8:08time, you know? Yeah, for sure.
- 8:10Yeah. For sure.
- 8:16No, it's the mod. You good.
- 8:18All right. You want to get into therapy?
- 8:19Questions there. Mothman Prophecies.
- 8:21Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Therapy question #1 Joseph,
- 8:28would you rather star in a flop Marvel movie or a wildly
- 8:35successful but cringe Netflix reality show?
- 8:40I would probably, I mean wildly successful but cringe.
- 8:43Netflix would be good. You could parlay that into other
- 8:45stuff. That's what I was thinking.
- 8:47Is like a flop on a Marvel movie.
- 8:49That could be it for you. Now you'd get paid.
- 8:53So like you'd get a big chunk up front.
- 8:56If you did a Marvel movie, you'd get paid pretty well.
- 8:58But you know, I'd I'd probably as long as it wasn't love is
- 9:02blind. That's like the cringiest shit
- 9:04ever. So if I would do a reality show,
- 9:07as long as it wasn't love is blind I would do like Mr. beasts
- 9:12challenge. That's pretty cringe.
- 9:14I'd do any of them, but I would squid game knock off it's.
- 9:18Netflix. It's Netflix, so.
- 9:20So they do Squid Game. OK, they do Squid Game they do.
- 9:23Love is blind. They don't do Mr. Beast.
- 9:27That's I think. Prime.
- 9:28I know, I'm just throwing that example.
- 9:29I'd do. Something OK, well, and then you
- 9:32got to think about, you know, we have to take this back to the
- 9:35the roots of the podcast, you know, the business side.
- 9:39Who do you want to be in bed with?
- 9:41Daddy Ted Sarandos, Uncle Ted over at Netflix or Marvel, which
- 9:51is what, Disney. 'Cause if you were on a wildly
- 9:55successful, you hit the talk show circuit.
- 9:58And you could be yourself and like you were saying, parlaying
- 10:00into other shit so then you could build the brand off of
- 10:03you. It depends what it is though
- 10:05'cause it says it's cringe. It's like but like.
- 10:07The reality show's cringe doesn't mean you have to be.
- 10:11That's true. Like the?
- 10:12Circle. Circle cause I've always wanted
- 10:14to be on the circle anyways. Yeah, there's always people
- 10:17that, you know, will, you know, it'd be wild as if you did that
- 10:20like like Japan top 100 where it's like all the.
- 10:25I think it's Korea, right? Well, no, they've done multiple
- 10:28different ones, but yeah, if you did that, oh, it's Asia dude.
- 10:34It's like the Asia 100 and you're like the only like you're
- 10:36like this white American guy. They're like, what's up?
- 10:39That that would be awesome 'cause that's really cringe.
- 10:44The way that they talk about each other when you watch it,
- 10:48obviously it doesn't translate perfectly, but.
- 10:52What about what about like Selling Sunset?
- 10:56So you're thinking of like competition shows.
- 10:58This is just reality. Yeah, you could do that.
- 11:02Could. Just be in my life.
- 11:02It could just be in my life and it's just cringe.
- 11:05I mean, it's like she's. Following you day-to-day like
- 11:11I'm 18 hours deep in the poker room starting to feel sick.
- 11:16I'm the foundation I built. The foundation I'm built for the
- 11:20slept Andy spends another 4 hours in before falling asleep
- 11:25in the parking lot. I mean, you're not wrong.
- 11:31Late to pick up his dog, child, ex-girlfriend.
- 11:35This is what actually. Happened.
- 11:36He'll be getting an ear for tomorrow morning.
- 11:38This is next level. So this actually was what
- 11:40happened. I, I, I did have a story.
- 11:41I'm just trying to think. So I went to Hollywood Park,
- 11:47played for a little bit and then was going to take a break and
- 11:52like think I was thinking about going home but I was going to go
- 11:54like eat. I was going to eat lunch or
- 11:55something and it was like 12:00 and I went to go smoke some weed
- 12:04and just didn't think about it. But entered into a $1000
- 12:10guarantee tournament for 5 bucks.
- 12:15But what I didn't realize like those tournaments go for like 6
- 12:18hours if you you know, if you go far into it.
- 12:22But I'm in Hollywood Park so it's like I can't.
- 12:25So I end up going super. I ended up getting 6th.
- 12:28There was 3 / 300 people in this tournament.
- 12:30I ended up getting 6th but I got trapped at Hollywood Park.
- 12:33Except I'm not playing, I'm playing online on my phone.
- 12:35But I can't I don't want to drive home which is like an hour
- 12:37on the one O 4 O 5 and the one O 1 so that I'm just nosing around
- 12:41Hollywood Park. They're like hitting the vape
- 12:44like outside like going inside, taking a piss, coming back to my
- 12:47car, smoking weed for like 5 hours on Saturday and until I
- 12:54got and I got to the final table should have fucking won.
- 12:57But this ass wipe like suck like he we both went all in and he
- 13:04had a lower pair. Like he had a mid pair night at
- 13:07the top pair and then he caught his fucking two pair on the
- 13:10fucking river when the blinds were super high and there was
- 13:13like 6 of us left. So anyways I got trapped at
- 13:19Hollywood park playing poker not at Hollywood park.
- 13:24And then it took it on the final table.
- 13:26OK. Yeah, therapy question #2?
- 13:32No, but now if you did a Marvel movie, that could be cool.
- 13:35But like I said, you would have. That's like The Ascension.
- 13:37And if you were one and done, This is my first movie.
- 13:40It's a Marvel movie. It sucked.
- 13:42You might be out of the game for life.
- 13:46Well I agree and I've never seen any Marvel movies so.
- 13:50You've never seen a single Marvel movie.
- 13:53You ever seen Blade? I was in blade but I I but I
- 13:57haven't seen it since like it the.
- 13:59Course you forget about snipes, dude.
- 14:01Forget. About it since it became a like
- 14:02a thing, like I don't know, I haven't seen any of them in the
- 14:05last 20 years. Racist dude, you forgot about
- 14:08Wesley's snipes. Then I meant like since they
- 14:11became like the Marvel Cinematic Universe, like since it became.
- 14:15Blades in the universe that was the beginning of the Marvel
- 14:17Cinematic Universe. Right.
- 14:18But it wasn't like fucking people going out to the movies.
- 14:23To go see Blade, I had the Blade movie poster.
- 14:25I got it for free. You know what I'm talking about.
- 14:29I don't. It wasn't a part of Disney.
- 14:31Disney didn't own it. How about that?
- 14:33Yeah, so it was better. It wasn't, you know.
- 14:35It was before that. Don't have Walt Disney's?
- 14:38Before the machine, before the machine came.
- 14:42Yeah, 'cause Disney wouldn't have done Blade, a black vampire
- 14:47hunter, a day walking vampire. Hunter, we don't know that.
- 14:52What do you mean we don't? Know they're about to get a new
- 14:54CEO. They might start like panting
- 14:55out. Making black shoes.
- 14:56They'll go. They'll go over real well bro
- 14:58bro. We just don't want to burn any
- 14:59bridges, you know, with these, with these conglomerates.
- 15:02Yeah, it's true. Sorry.
- 15:05Just kidding. Go fuck yourself, Disney.
- 15:07Epcot's awesome. Epcot sucks.
- 15:11Universal. Universal Studios for life,
- 15:13dude. That's it.
- 15:14California Adventure just turned 25.
- 15:19Lame. That's just trying to keep up
- 15:20with Disney World. Be like we have California
- 15:22Adventure, so go. They was trying to keep up with
- 15:24Six Flags. Maybe Six Flags is lit.
- 15:29What else is crazy? Busch Gardens.
- 15:31Back in the day, Busch Gardens had some crazy roller coasters
- 15:34they were out of. Texas, they had some.
- 15:36They had some good coasters on God blah blah blah on God
- 15:43therapy question #2. Would you rather be followed by
- 15:49the paparazzi for a year or become a viral meme for falling
- 15:56in public? Falling in public be followed by
- 16:02paparazzi for a year for no reason just to follow you
- 16:06around. No, you you would love that.
- 16:09You'd be like, oh hey, I'm just. Couldn't I parlay that?
- 16:14I mean, like only a year? It's only a year, yeah.
- 16:16Jeans. Are for.
- 16:19Yeah, that'd be tight. You'd be come back on some like
- 16:21VH1, remember the meme pop up meme video?
- 16:25Some shit, Yeah, some shit like that.
- 16:27They'll have something like that.
- 16:29They'll be like, fuck, who's going to be like Willow Smith
- 16:34will be hosting it and be like, oh, we're going to talk about
- 16:36these memes from back in the day.
- 16:39I started like doing open mics. Paparazzi's going to my open
- 16:45mics. Who the fuck's this guy?
- 16:48I start going to the club, paparazzi's following The Who
- 16:54the fuck's this guy? Let him in, Let him in.
- 16:57This is her fault. He's like, hey, who's that
- 16:59random man? Let's.
- 17:01Paparazzi. He must be fucking famous.
- 17:03Let him in. Get on Raya.
- 17:07As if I wasn't already. All sorts of things you can do
- 17:12and then then it's over in a year.
- 17:18No, I wouldn't want to. Be following people celebrities
- 17:20called the paparazzi to take pictures of them.
- 17:23Yeah, this. You wouldn't even have to call
- 17:25them to just be there the first day of it.
- 17:27You'd be like what the fuck why are y'all following me?
- 17:29Why are you? A normal person, you'd be like,
- 17:31I'm just. Trying to go to California
- 17:33Adventure. I'm they must be following me.
- 17:36I'm so great. I'm just trying to go to
- 17:39California. I knew this day would come, you
- 17:41guys. I mean, OK, I mean, I just
- 17:49remember the only time. Like not the only time probably,
- 17:51but this one time I was on mushroom.
- 17:54Speaking of which, at Hurricane Harbor on mushrooms next to the
- 17:58black hole line. Black hole was very popular.
- 18:01Had the fucking. I've heard of this story where
- 18:02it's like you had a very bad time.
- 18:04No, I just know I. Somebody said that we should
- 18:07talk about doing ketamine on. I I might know who that is, but
- 18:18but no, I slipped like I'd, I like had a like a goofy cartoon
- 18:22like slip like, and then I slammed right, right on my ass.
- 18:25I was just standing still on mushrooms, whole line laughs.
- 18:29But it was funny and the mushrooms were fun.
- 18:32Like it wasn't a bad time at all.
- 18:34Yeah, but I always made me think, like, why is it so
- 18:38fucking funny when somebody falls like that?
- 18:40You know, like I just slammed on my ass and like, yeah.
- 18:43And universally laughed at. It's somebody else's misfortune.
- 18:48But like, everyone's OK, you know?
- 18:50It's like there's a whole genre. I mean, why is, why do people
- 18:53laugh? I don't know, American.
- 18:54No, but specifically with that, like, like it was like not a
- 18:58question whether you were laughing or not.
- 19:00It's like the only person who wouldn't have laughed is like
- 19:01Trump because he's a sociopath. Because you were standing there
- 19:05and you slipped and tumbled and fell standing flat footed in
- 19:08line. That's probably why it was
- 19:10funny. I.
- 19:10Wasn't even in line. I was like it.
- 19:12Probably looked it probably looked hilarious too, 'cause
- 19:15you're on mushrooms and reception.
- 19:18Like, like, 'cause like, I try to like, get my bounciness.
- 19:20Oh yeah, it makes it worse. A couple pedals.
- 19:23Oh, the couple pedals, The cartoon, The cartoon slip.
- 19:26Yeah, that's very funny. Especially if you I.
- 19:28Know the why? Why?
- 19:30It's like logically, why Is it funny we did that?
- 19:34Like we just know it's funny, but we don't know why.
- 19:38That's somebody else's misfortune.
- 19:40I don't. Think that's funny though?
- 19:42It can be if no one's hurt, yeah.
- 19:51Therapy question #3 Would you rather be mistaken for a
- 19:57celebrity constantly or never recognized even when famous?
- 20:05Never recognized even when famous.
- 20:08Never recognized. Yeah, then you could just go
- 20:11about. You could be famous, do your
- 20:13thing and go about your life and no one would like there be no
- 20:15paparazzi. You could just be live a normal
- 20:17life. What's the point?
- 20:21I'm just kidding. Is to be mistaken for a
- 20:24celebrity and being like, no, sorry, I'm not him.
- 20:27And you could say like, oh, I am and do whatever and then be an
- 20:30impersonator and roll that into like a full time gig.
- 20:33But I'd much rather be famous and already rich or just not
- 20:36have to like hide my face when I go.
- 20:38Well, The thing is that you're constantly mistaken for the
- 20:40celebrity, so you could just pick and choose when you go with
- 20:44it. You know, like like like most of
- 20:47the time you'd be like, no. But if it's like backstage at
- 20:52the concert, sure, I'm Jonah Hill.
- 21:00But what if you get called out? Oh, I don't give a shit.
- 21:03Come on. Like.
- 21:04Later. Like I went to the $0.50
- 21:07concert. Serial impersonator?
- 21:09You got mistaken for $0.50. Are you No, I just, I just I
- 21:12just, I just called me. Curtis.
- 21:14Just walked straight through the VI, like the VIP section, which
- 21:17was like upstairs, I just walked and nobody said anything to me.
- 21:22I hung up there. I hung out there for like an
- 21:23hour and a half and then like some guy came up there was like,
- 21:25well you're supposed to be up here.
- 21:26I was like, Nah. And he's like, Oh well you got
- 21:29to go back downstairs. I was like, oh shucks, I'm so
- 21:33disappointed in myself that I did that.
- 21:35You know, it's like 0 repercussions.
- 21:38You know any every zoo's a petting zoo if you're brave
- 21:41enough on me. Did you just not have a pass?
- 21:44And that's why they were like, hey, what the fuck?
- 21:46But it was funny, 'cause I was with my buddy John, who's
- 21:48Peruvian, not white, and we were walking together and I and no
- 21:54questions asked, just like, and literally a bouncer at the, at
- 21:57the, at the bottom of the steps, just no questions asked, just
- 21:59let me go by and stops him. Yeah, and then I was like, you
- 22:08know, it's like we lost a lot of good men out there, dude.
- 22:10But I I'm going to stay up here for a little bit at least, you
- 22:12know, I'll, at least you know what happens.
- 22:14You know, I'll tell you about it.
- 22:15I'll. I'll take I'll try to get some
- 22:17pictures. No, no, there's no pictures.
- 22:20No. Just for them.
- 22:23Well, it was like upstairs. I mean, he was like the general
- 22:26admission. It was like Drake's night, Dre's
- 22:28nightclub. Dre.
- 22:30Yeah, yeah. The worst part of that when we
- 22:33left, we like got a mob mentality and just like followed
- 22:37some people down a stairwell and realized that we were like going
- 22:44the wrong direction, but only after like 20 foot five flights
- 22:49of stairs. And so we ended up like doing
- 22:53all these flights and then walking from there to Planet 13,
- 22:57which is the biggest dispensary in the, in the world, and then
- 22:59from there to our hotel, which is the Venetian.
- 23:02And the next day we went home and I, I was staying at my new
- 23:06place in Santa Monica. And when I got home, I couldn't
- 23:10walk or talk, but I couldn't walk.
- 23:13My, my legs were so sore. But like, I was just like on the
- 23:16adrenaline and like, I think like Adderall, like in Vegas,
- 23:20like they got me through like the flights of steps and stuff.
- 23:22But when I woke up the next day dead, it was, it was the
- 23:25craziest thing ever. And I.
- 23:26Couldn't Vegas will do that to you?
- 23:28I know proper Vegas experience and I and I wasn't drinking.
- 23:35Yeah. No, I was.
- 23:37I was. I was back then, Yeah.
- 23:39Nevermind. Total is over.
- 23:42Wait, no, nevermind. No, no, OK, therapy question #4
- 23:50Final therapy question. Would you rather your life have
- 23:53reality TV confessionals or documentary narration?
- 24:00Reality TV confessionals would probably be more productive
- 24:04'cause you would get get shit out.
- 24:08So you'd be able to like, sit there and talk and like, vent,
- 24:11you know what I'm saying? Yeah, I'd be like Modern Family
- 24:14and or something. Yeah, like I would want to be.
- 24:17Breaking like the 4th wall documentary?
- 24:20Narration like that could be pretty condescending.
- 24:22If I can hear it I might be like hey fuck you man, like.
- 24:26What it's like Steven Attenborough.
- 24:28Yeah, well, if I'm doing something stupid, like little
- 24:31does he know he's doing it wrong and he'll figure it out in
- 24:34another 15 minutes. Like that would piss me off.
- 24:36I'd be like, fuck you, I'm doing it wrong.
- 24:38Like, you know, like I don't. I feel like I'd argue more.
- 24:41I would end up getting into an argument with the narrator,
- 24:44especially if I could hear it. Especially if it was a woman.
- 24:50Maybe for you as were yeah, the confessionals would be way more
- 24:55therapeutic. You'd get a lot off your chest
- 24:59get. A lot, A lot of jokes.
- 25:02Yeah, you could say like I mean, and are these being replayed for
- 25:05everybody to hear? Of course, for fans, I don't
- 25:11know. And hopefully not, that would
- 25:15suck. I think it's, I think it's like
- 25:18you would be able to see other people's reality TV
- 25:20confessionals and then I guess they also have your own.
- 25:23That's that's how this is your life.
- 25:25Oh, OK, yeah. So I'd have my own and I could
- 25:27see other people's. Yeah, that'd be good.
- 25:31Maybe you know, So it must probably make you like hella
- 25:35paranoid and freaked out all the time.
- 25:37I mean, 'cause it'd be like living on a reality, like on the
- 25:40real world. Yeah, but I mean, they see that
- 25:42after the fact. Or be like on be like living
- 25:45like on like Summer house or something, 'cause then 'cause
- 25:47you're coming back with the same people the next season.
- 25:49So yeah, you see it after the fact, but it more Real
- 25:54Housewives the same, same shit. Yeah, it's 'cause it, it's the
- 25:56same cast. Yeah, but it still matters.
- 25:59Well. Yeah, you'd see it after the
- 26:01fact. So that would still that would
- 26:05bother you then you'd know that's what I'm saying.
- 26:07Like it'd be hard to go back and be like, oh hey, what's up?
- 26:10I saw you talking shit or heard the horrible things you said
- 26:12about me like 'cause it'd be all directed and all be you
- 26:16specific. So that'd be pretty heavy.
- 26:19Or you adjacent. Yeah, it'd be intense it.
- 26:25Could be funny, yeah. You can either like figure out
- 26:27how to harness it and make the best of it, or you'd like
- 26:30spiral. There's like, there's really,
- 26:33you couldn't like just do it and be like whatever, like.
- 26:35As long as it was in the same kind of like, dry comedic style
- 26:40as like a Modern Family, yes, Yeah.
- 26:43It was like real. I was like real world.
- 26:45Crash outs that'd be that'd be intense, like Jersey, like
- 26:48Jersey short crash outs about you, like your Co worker who's
- 26:51mad at you going in there and crashing out running their
- 26:55mouth. And then you see that six weeks
- 26:56later, you'd be like, fuck you, bro.
- 26:58That's actually what it would be, right?
- 27:00I'm thinking of mockumentary, and this is more like, yeah,
- 27:04that's probably like Love Island.
- 27:06Yeah, yeah. That'd be intense.
- 27:09Then you have to get together big every time.
- 27:11After every couple weeks. It'd be like a reunion episode.
- 27:17Vanderpump reunion is coming up next week.
- 27:19Let's go, dude Vanderpump. They decide pride.
- 27:22For life, Vanderpump. For life, Lisa holla at your
- 27:28boy. Oh well, you girl.
- 27:31The LVP Batty bro. Too British for me.
- 27:39My British should not. Oh, Speaking of other countries.
- 27:42Elizabeth Hurley. Come on dude.
- 27:44I mean oh, which is name like the one not hottest chick ever.
- 27:47She's like 75 and she looks like she's 32.
- 27:51Like get the fuck out. And she looked like she was 32
- 27:53when she's like 32. Yeah.
- 27:55I mean. Austin Powers, dude.
- 27:57OK, they get, they get, they got one.
- 28:01No, I'm just kidding. I'm not hating on Bird.
- 28:02I love the British people. I just am American.
- 28:07OK, I'm just American. I'll just, you know, my girls
- 28:15wear the red, white and blue, which is also the colors of the
- 28:18UK, so I don't know what that means.
- 28:19It's. Making it worse.
- 28:21Yeah, I'm sorry. No, I was going to say that just
- 28:25if we we got new listeners in Greece last week, I was looking,
- 28:29I thought there was like a fucking mistake because the
- 28:33number had changed like a bunch. And with three new countries
- 28:36listening. And this week Haiti shout out,
- 28:41even though the shit's like a fucking popped off civil war run
- 28:44by gangs caused by Eric Prince. Caused by the Hillary, the
- 28:51Hillary Clinton. Come on man, keep up.
- 28:54In, in in Blackwater. Didn't see the blaze cue drop.
- 28:58No, I didn't. I'm sorry.
- 29:00I just. Made that up.
- 29:03Shit, we're going to get flagged bro.
- 29:06I mean, I don't know. Can you get flagged?
- 29:07If we're not already. If we're not already.
- 29:10No, I mean, I don't know, Spotify, I think they like us
- 29:12'cause, you know, we've just been, we've been down with them
- 29:14back back before when they were trying to grow podcasts, you
- 29:17know, before podcasts were like before they were handing out
- 29:20big, big boy checks. But also, OK, Haiti, Malaysia
- 29:28and Iraq. Baghdad, bro actually didn't
- 29:33look to see if it was Baghdad, but Baghdad did.
- 29:38And then we had some dude from Bangladesh slip into the DMS
- 29:42today telling us trying to try to monetize our shit in
- 29:45Bangladesh. Just in the top ten of all the
- 29:47countries. So I don't even know what's
- 29:50going on in Bangladesh. It just keeps going up and then
- 29:54our people from Bangladesh are hitting us up.
- 29:57Let's go. What you're leery of Bangladesh?
- 30:03Aren't we all that? Aren't we all?
- 30:06I forgot you're American. No, I mean, I'm just saying it's
- 30:11just like an obscure country of the bunch to be climbing in the
- 30:18ranks. And I'm just curious to know
- 30:21what it's like out there in the streets of Bangladesh.
- 30:24You know, like, are we a hassle name?
- 30:26Are we a hassle name? No, I have not.
- 30:28Did you reach out? You gotta be like, hey, how was?
- 30:30It literally this morning. Are you like, hey, it's probably
- 30:33the morning for him now be like, hey, so what's up?
- 30:35What's the word on the street streets of Bangladesh about TS
- 30:38or get off the pod you. Know I've met people.
- 30:43Talk to him. We got a street team, a
- 30:45Bangladeshian St. team. Every good podcast has one Our
- 30:50team, our lawyers reach out. Oh, our team in Asia.
- 30:56Yeah, that's what I'm saying. I mean the street team,
- 30:58Bangladeshian St. team, South African St. team, Australian St.
- 31:03team, you know what I'm saying? Ukrainian.
- 31:07Iraqi St. team. Iran's up there in the top 10
- 31:14now we got Iraq, you know what I'm saying?
- 31:17So it was. Iraq dude, so.
- 31:19You know a, a, A, and you know what they said in the Iran and
- 31:22Iraq war, I was rooting for the bullets.
- 31:33It's only a matter of time before the paparazzi starts
- 31:36following you around because of your world famous hard hitting
- 31:40jokes. The timing just cadence like I
- 31:46what I'd ask who you'd studied to learn how to tell jokes that
- 31:49good. But obviously it's all obviously
- 31:52it's the whole book. Great Gutfeld.
- 31:54Great Gutfeld. Ridiculous.
- 32:02On to the articles. Yeah.
- 32:04No break today. Yeah.
- 32:05All right. Oh no.
- 32:09Hold on one second. OK.
- 32:25And. Just more fabulous podcasting
- 32:37from Andrew and Justin. Technical.
- 32:40Technical difficulties article #1 I mean, we talked about it a
- 32:46little bit in the beginning. State of the Union was last
- 32:50night. Most bizarre shit I've ever
- 32:53seen. And like, the last one was
- 32:57bizarre, but this one was bizarre in a different way.
- 33:00It was just like droning and dragging on for forever.
- 33:04This is from MPRAKERA. That's five takeaways from
- 33:10Trump's State of the Union address.
- 33:13It was weird. Like you were shit.
- 33:16Like, no, but I'm in. I've watched a bunch of these
- 33:19before. And I mean, oh, I mean I, I, I
- 33:23try. To watch Blue.
- 33:23Yeah, me too. I mean, so, I mean, I've watched
- 33:27George W Bush, I've seen Obama's, you know, I've seen a
- 33:30Joe Biden. I've seen, obviously I've seen.
- 33:33Trump's I just, I'm just saying the way that you said it just
- 33:35sound. You sound like a old man.
- 33:36You're like, yeah, just different.
- 33:38I've watched, I've seen a number of state of the unions in my
- 33:41day. Yeah, I mean, at this point in
- 33:43our lives, we've seen quite a few, and this is one of the most
- 33:46bizarre ones, one of the more bizarre ones I've ever seen, in
- 33:50that nothing was really addressed, despite obviously
- 33:54being like, these people are crazy, these people are sick,
- 33:57and the stupid baiting trying to get them to stand up.
- 34:01And on command. I did like that whenever he said
- 34:04that they all voted against the tax cuts, they all sit up and
- 34:07clapped and cheered. That was pretty funny.
- 34:09When they trolled him, that was really funny.
- 34:11But then him lambasting the Supreme Court justices while
- 34:14they're sitting right in front of him.
- 34:17And then it just turned into a fucking award ceremony.
- 34:20Dude, it was so random. It was just like, and this guy,
- 34:25we're giving them a citizen's Bronze Star and then, oh, we're
- 34:29giving out Melania, give this guy sitting next to you the
- 34:32Medal of Honor. It was like what she's like,
- 34:34pulls it out of her pocket. It was crazy it.
- 34:37Was he did that with Rush Limbaugh like in his first term?
- 34:39It was so gross. Did OK, Did you catch the part?
- 34:44I think it was the first, one of the first shout outs that he
- 34:48gave. And it was about no tax on tips
- 34:51and no tax on overtime. And he pointed out like a lady
- 34:55who was there and her husband was working a lot of overtime
- 34:57and she was working for a lot of tips.
- 34:59And because they both now don't get taxes on that, which also I
- 35:04don't even think was a part of that actual bill.
- 35:06It was like a suggestion. I don't even know if he's
- 35:08legally allowed to do that. But like, let's just put that
- 35:10aside. Let's say it is true.
- 35:13He goes he's like, you know, you're going to believe, yeah,
- 35:16you're not going to believe how rich she is now.
- 35:19After all, it never has been hit like the crazy build up of how
- 35:23many hours of overtime and taxes on and and tips that she now
- 35:28makes now $5000 more a year. I almost positive that's what he
- 35:34said. I'm like what?
- 35:36Well, and. That's where the no.
- 35:39Tax What are we? Talking about is misleading
- 35:41because there is tax on your overtime.
- 35:46There is tax on your tips under a certain amount.
- 35:49So if you make too much money in tips then you still pay taxes on
- 35:52it. But it's also like the
- 35:54dishwashers don't fucking get tips and like other people don't
- 35:57get tips. So it's like you're like it's,
- 35:58you're selective. It's like a regret.
- 36:00And it's only, it's only, it's only no tax up to a certain
- 36:04amount of tips. After that, you're taxed
- 36:05regularly. Now the no tax on overtime is
- 36:08misleading because let's say you're, you know, it's like time
- 36:12and 1/2, so you're 10 bucks an hour and then you're in overtime
- 36:15and it's 15. You still get taxed on the 10.
- 36:19You don't get taxed on the $5.00.
- 36:21So the time you don't get taxed on the halftime.
- 36:24So you could do 60 hours, you'd still get taxed regular tax for
- 36:29the 60 hours, but for that extra dollar difference in the time
- 36:33and a half, you don't get taxed on that.
- 36:36So you work 60 hours, you would get paid like as if you worked
- 36:4090. You get taxed on 60, don't get
- 36:43taxed on 30. No, if I worked 45 hours I would
- 36:49get taxed on 45 hours. But then the extra 5 if I did 10
- 36:53bucks an hour so it's time and 1/2 so it'd be 15.
- 36:56The extra $5.00 an hour I made on those extra 4 on those five
- 37:01hours. That's not tax.
- 37:02I was saying you'd you worked. OK, let's go back to that.
- 37:05Let's say you work 60 hours. Yep, 60 hours.
- 37:07OK, you work 60 hours. You're getting paid as if you
- 37:10worked 90. Correct.
- 37:14Yeah, yeah, yeah. Yeah.
- 37:16So I'm just so the put it, when you put it that way, the 60
- 37:21hours are taxed normally and then the 30 hours that you got
- 37:27paid extra are not taxed. If you broke it out like that if
- 37:34because you're getting time and 1/2, so you're getting 90 hours
- 37:36of pay instead of 60 hours of pay.
- 37:38Yeah, but I mean it's like so 1/3 of that is still being
- 37:41taxed. 2/3. Two third yeah 2/3 of me is of
- 37:46it is still being taxed where they make it sound like none of
- 37:48it's being taxed. Right, right.
- 37:50Which is extremely misleading. But it's better than if the
- 37:57alternative was it was all getting taxed the same.
- 38:00Yeah. And it's just, yeah, whatever
- 38:06it's like, I don't need to, I don't need to do the work for
- 38:08you, you know, to like to if it, if it sounds better the way I'm
- 38:12saying it then. Yeah.
- 38:14I mean, no, I mean, it's not that it sounds better.
- 38:17I. Mean, And I'm not even against
- 38:18the way my whole thing is. I'm just pointing out that the
- 38:20one example that he used is that she made 5000 more dollars.
- 38:24Like what the fuck are we talking about?
- 38:26You know, it's like like that's Burrell, you know?
- 38:32Anyways, but what else were you saying about it?
- 38:34Whoa. And then you obviously brought
- 38:36out the men's hockey team, gave the citizens.
- 38:40What is it? The Star Freedom to the goalie
- 38:45for the US presidential. Medal of Freedom.
- 38:47Presidential Medal of Freedom to the goalie for the men's hockey
- 38:51team. There was a high school girl who
- 38:53ran away to be trans and then came back and now she has a full
- 38:57right scholarship to Liberty. They talked about her now
- 39:02obviously then there's like the, I don't mean it like in a bad
- 39:07way, but there's the low lying fruit.
- 39:09So there's a lot of it was like reaching out and trying to gain
- 39:13sympathy because he is so unlikable right now that it's
- 39:16like I'm going to tote out. I'm going to talk about the 100
- 39:19year old, you know, World War 2 pilot.
- 39:23I'm gonna talk of who's who's should have gotten the Medal of
- 39:25Honor forever ago. Finally gave him 1.
- 39:28So there was a lot of just like it was an award ceremony, man.
- 39:31Yeah, it was just jazz man's it. Was just one big fucking award
- 39:35ceremony. It was weird.
- 39:36He's not talking about the state of the fucking union 'cause
- 39:38it's, it's, you know, not going well, bitch.
- 39:43We're doing so much winning at for a lot of it.
- 39:45He was like yelling too. He was like shouting in the mic.
- 39:48I was like, whoa, bro, turn the volume down.
- 39:51All right, so this article goes, only one president in U.S.
- 39:55history has gone before Congress during the State of the Union
- 39:57and said the State of the Union was not good.
- 40:00It wasn't President Trump on Tuesday.
- 40:02It was Gerald Ford in 1975. But the country facing similar
- 40:06economic problems to today's. Including high prices.
- 40:10People continue to say that prices and the cost of living
- 40:12are the top of their concerns and they blame Trump's policies,
- 40:16particularly his tariffs for making things worse.
- 40:19But Trump to ignore these economic warts instead boasting
- 40:22that our nation is back and that he it's a turn it's a turn
- 40:26around for the ages. It all amounted to a family
- 40:29fairly standard Trump speech. It hit familiar notes on
- 40:32immigration and culture with Orion rate with was wide-ranging
- 40:37and record setting. The longest spoken State of the
- 40:39Union address in recent history at one hour and 48 minutes had
- 40:44an unusual amount of Trump's showmanship, Which is that's
- 40:48what I'm saying, it's super weird.
- 40:49Here are 5 things to take away from it.
- 40:51Trump ignored the difficulties people are facing with the
- 40:54economy. And that's true.
- 40:56Like he didn't talk about anything about fixing the
- 40:59economy necessarily anything substantive.
- 41:01And he talked about Trump RX. He dropped about, you know, the
- 41:05Trump bank accounts for kiddos. Like it was just like him
- 41:08rattling off a bunch of random shit, but he didn't talk about
- 41:12any more plans moving forward and how they want to to address
- 41:15these things. It was just like, look at all
- 41:17the stuff that I've. Done.
- 41:18And he would say and I didn't name it that, I promise.
- 41:22Promise. I didn't name it, they named.
- 41:24A really tall, a really tall smart guy sitting there in the
- 41:273rd Rd. He did thank you and everybody
- 41:31going corny as fuck. Voters have been saying for a
- 41:37long time that prices and the cost of living are their top
- 41:39concerns. It is widely.
- 41:42It is largely what has landed Trump and the Republican
- 41:45Republican Party in a precarious position ahead of this year's
- 41:48midterm elections. And yet Trump largely ignored
- 41:51the economic hardships many are feeling.
- 41:54He gave a rosy outlooked out in the stock market, lower gas
- 41:57prices. But the reality is it's just not
- 42:00how voters are feeling. And Trump did not have, did not
- 42:04have an I feel your pain moment in the speech.
- 42:06His approval ratings are near the are at or near record lows.
- 42:11And voters are blaming his policies, particularly his
- 42:13tariffs, and for making things worse.
- 42:16In the speech, he doubled down on those tariffs with the
- 42:18Supreme Court justices sitting right in front of him.
- 42:21He criticized the ruling last weeks, said he will come up with
- 42:25alternative legal justifications for keeping them in place.
- 42:30Trump's midterm message is not new.
- 42:32This is number 2. There is no novel political
- 42:35message from the president. In the speech, Trump talked a
- 42:38lot about his political hobbyhorse, the rows of
- 42:41immigration, crime and culture wars.
- 42:44He tried to hit a reset button on immigration, focusing on
- 42:47border security crimes committed with gory.
- 42:52Yeah, he was with gory anecdotal detail.
- 42:55It's a Tri. It's a tactic that has been long
- 42:58employed by Trump, the GOP and conservative media to advocate
- 43:02against immigration, particularly when data doesn't
- 43:04back up allegations of higher levels of crimes committed by
- 43:08those in the country. Because if you're an immigrant,
- 43:10you're less likely to commit a crime than an American citizen.
- 43:14Big fact is there is no legislative agenda.
- 43:20There is no legislative agenda. Which is true.
- 43:22State of the Union addresses can sometimes descend into laundry
- 43:26list of things the president wants Congress to accomplish.
- 43:28Not this speech. There were only half.
- 43:31There were only half a dozen specific things Trump asked
- 43:34Congress to do. Codified Trump's attempts to
- 43:37lower drug prices, though it's unclear how.
- 43:40Stop it. Pass the Stop Insider Trading
- 43:43Act, which would restrict Wall Street trading by members of
- 43:45Congress and their spouses. Pass what the Trump called the
- 43:49Delilah Law that would ban commercial licenses, licenses
- 43:53for immigrants in the country without legal status.
- 43:56No shit. Yeah, but can.
- 43:59I just say this, OK, the article one of the Constitution, man,
- 44:03Congress makes the fucking laws. OK, The executive branch is the
- 44:07executor of the the the Constitution and laws.
- 44:12So they just go out and execute the laws made by Congress.
- 44:16It shouldn't be the fucking president telling Congress to do
- 44:18anything. It's the Congress telling the
- 44:20president here, here's the fucking shit.
- 44:22Go get it done. Restore funding to the
- 44:27Department of Homeland Security. After the killing of two
- 44:29Americans in Minnesota, Democrats refused to authorize
- 44:33new funding for them. Pass the SAVE Act, which will
- 44:36require proof of citizenship to vote.
- 44:38Proven instances of fraud, including by non citizens, are
- 44:41very rare. But Trump claims claims there is
- 44:44rampant cheating. It's something he has used to
- 44:46justify his 2020 election loss. Because he's just a fucking
- 44:50liar. The Democratic response had a
- 44:53wide range. There was little mini crash
- 44:56outs. I mean, that's what they want.
- 45:00That's what they want, is for them to get those reactions out
- 45:05of them, you know? Oh, I know, but Nancy Pelosi was
- 45:08like saying that they told him like either don't go or if you
- 45:12go just like don't give him like the fucking the clip.
- 45:15But some of them still reacted. But it, it, it wasn't like as
- 45:18bad, you know? Yeah, state union speeches have
- 45:23turned from state and Russiaist in the past 16 years.
- 45:27Outbursts and protests have become more common.
- 45:31Democrat. Some Democrats poor, crowded,
- 45:34boycotted. Others, like Minnesota Rep Ilhan
- 45:36Omar, shouted at the president about things she found
- 45:39outrageous during his speech. Representative Al Green of Texas
- 45:43carried a sign that read Black people aren't apes, a reference
- 45:46to Trump's social media post. I mean.
- 45:49He he was the one who got kicked out.
- 45:51That's two He's back-to-back. I don't know if he got kicked
- 45:55out here. I'm saying yeah, before he he.
- 45:57Yeah, he got kicked out here too.
- 45:58He got kicked out pretty quickly.
- 46:01Yes. Like if you're going to get
- 46:02kicked out like I, you might as well get like, let me go quick.
- 46:05I don't want to like sit around for this.
- 46:07No, this will likely matter much politically because of the views
- 46:11of Trump's are baked in, try to reset with the nation.
- 46:14But it's a tall order when the views about him are so baked in.
- 46:17And that's really what it came off as is him trying to be like,
- 46:20look, oh, we got these guys who won gold and oh, I'm honoring
- 46:23all these service members. He was doing things to like get
- 46:26gain sympathy points, gain human points.
- 46:31That's all he did. He didn't do anything of any.
- 46:34He didn't talk about anything of real substance.
- 46:37He rattled off a bunch of stuff, called people crazy, cracked
- 46:40jokes, and then just started introducing random fucking
- 46:43people left and right. Like where it says like the
- 46:45crazy Democrats with those crazy people that was like in the pre
- 46:48written notes. They're like the pre written
- 46:50speech that they hand out. Yeah, that's that's like not
- 46:53even a math living, but dude, I mean, come on guy, who gives a
- 46:59shit? Fuck this dude.
- 47:01What's your favorite State of the Union since you're such a
- 47:04connoisseur? I mean.
- 47:07The union moment because I just. I have one guy too.
- 47:16It's probably whenever. It's probably I miss.
- 47:24I liked whenever our boy Santos is that one State of the Union.
- 47:32Yeah, like mine was when Obama, it's like in a second term.
- 47:37And he's like, he's saying something and he's like, and I
- 47:39don't have any more elections to run.
- 47:41And all the Republicans get up and they start clapping.
- 47:44And he goes, that's because I've won both of mine.
- 47:48And then all the Democrats get up and just start like heckling
- 47:50the Republicans like this mic drop moment.
- 47:55Yeah, but that's like corny. That's no it was corny for the
- 47:59Republicans. No corny for them to do it for.
- 48:02Sure, but that's what I'm saying.
- 48:03But if Obama did like just just always on point to show how
- 48:08quick he is, like, you know, it's like when they throw him
- 48:10the basketball and when he's in front of like the the Marines
- 48:12and he just drains the three pointer of.
- 48:14Course lefty lefty shot of. Course he's fucking dead like
- 48:17it. It's Barack.
- 48:18Yeah, Barack Hussein. So I mean, the whole thing was
- 48:25really rough to watch. And there was really no
- 48:27substance or any discussion of anything realistic.
- 48:32Obviously, there was no mention of the Epstein files, no
- 48:35mentions of the victims that they brought.
- 48:37Yeah. You don't stand for the American
- 48:40citizens as I get the fucking Epstein victims in there.
- 48:43You won't even fucking release like these.
- 48:45Like you'll release their names. So what's really funny too is
- 48:48there's a lot of people that you see like in his cabinet or
- 48:52people that are in his administration that are failed
- 48:55politicians who lost their elections, lost their
- 48:59governorships in like Georgia or lost, you know, and then they
- 49:02just they just continue to attach themselves to him.
- 49:05And then he brought them into the fold after he got re
- 49:07elected. So I found that pretty funny.
- 49:09Remember, it would show like the people sitting in front.
- 49:11I'm like, oh, that ass hat's still around.
- 49:13Like you'd just see it's just like a who's who of failed
- 49:18failed mega stars. That's what these authority like
- 49:21these dictator wannabe dictators do, is you surround yourself
- 49:24with people who would never be there in any other circumstance
- 49:29or, you know, or they like are clean, you know, like are hungry
- 49:33for, you know, power or, or desperate because the, you know,
- 49:37they're on the outs and they want to be in the inner circle.
- 49:39Yeah. It's like the weak, the
- 49:41vulnerable. It's like nobody who's going to
- 49:43challenge you, but everybody who's, like, going to be loyal
- 49:46to you because they know that they would, you know, wouldn't
- 49:48be there without you. Yeah.
- 49:50I mean, it's a smart, it's a smart move, but you normally
- 49:56it's smart to do that with smart people just doing it with like
- 49:59morons. Well, it's got to be a lot of
- 50:02morons, but I mean, there's some, I mean, you know, Steve,
- 50:05Steven Miller, I mean, I don't know.
- 50:08Well, there's some evil smart. People, that's what I'm saying.
- 50:12And then there's stupid people. Right, we're looking at you,
- 50:16Christy. No dog killer with the bad
- 50:19filler. Article from BBC From Quinton
- 50:23Somerville fears everywhere BBC reports from the Mexican city
- 50:28turned into a war zone, which is crazy.
- 50:32Mexico's president praised the special forces for bringing down
- 50:35the country's most wanted man. Drug Lord Nismo Osiguero
- 50:40Cervantes, better known as El Mencho, died in custody Sunday
- 50:45shortly after being captured amid a bloody firefight in
- 50:48Jalisco. But the BBC found in another
- 50:52Mexican cartel hotspot in the northern part of the Sinaloa
- 50:56state, there is a vacuum left by the removal of a powerful leader
- 51:00that can trigger a surge in violence and warning.
- 51:04Get out of here. BBC is trying to make me what?
- 51:08I'm not paying for this. Since when?
- 51:12Why do I have to subscribe to continue?
- 51:16What? When did they start doing this?
- 51:21No, no, I mean I'm, I'm, I was wide open, homie.
- 51:23Well, you can read it. Some bullshit BBC.
- 51:27I don't know where you stopped. I'm telling you, these British
- 51:31people, you know what I'm. Saying.
- 51:34Where? Where'd you stop?
- 51:36What's the second paragraph I stopped where he talked about
- 51:39how there is a power back you left.
- 51:43And the were you doing the bold? Yeah.
- 51:47OK, the vacuum left by the removal of a powerful cartel
- 51:54leader can trigger a surge in violence as warring factions
- 51:57battle for control. The fear is everywhere and the
- 52:01fear is constant, said paramedic Hector Torres, 53, from the
- 52:04front seat of the ambulance in Kulikan.
- 52:08We had just come from the scene of a shooting inside a garage in
- 52:11the city center. The owner was lying dead in his
- 52:14office, blood spreading across the white tiled floor.
- 52:17As Hector and the other paramedic, Julio Cesar Vega, 28,
- 52:21entered the premises, a woman ran in, wailing.
- 52:24She was the man's wife, but there was nothing to be done.
- 52:27Hector checked for vitals and then placed a paper blanket over
- 52:29the corpse. For the last year and a half,
- 52:31the Sinaloa cartel, one of the world's largest and most feared
- 52:35drug gangs, has been at war with itself after the son of one of
- 52:38its leaders betrayed another. The removal of that cartel
- 52:41leader Ishmael El Mayo El Mayo Zambada, who's now in prison in
- 52:46the US, has robbed mayhem across Sinaloa and provides a warning
- 52:50of the dangers facing the country.
- 52:52So you know, El Mayo is hardcore.
- 52:55They were looking for that guy for for fucking ever.
- 52:59Like we talked about him when he got caught.
- 53:00Like he like some people didn't barely knew what he looked like.
- 53:04Like in the shadows type. Fucking dude.
- 53:08Hector said the violence in Kulikan had never been so bad or
- 53:13gone on for so long. Last year their number of call
- 53:16outs increased by over 70%. But in Week 1, in the week I'm
- 53:22sorry, but in the week I spent with Hector and Julio, almost
- 53:25every incident they responded to ended the same way, with a dead
- 53:28body in a building or by the side of the road and grief
- 53:31stricken relatives nearby asking for answers.
- 53:34Few cartel victims survive and nowhere is safe.
- 53:37Schools, hospitals and even funerals have been attacked.
- 53:40Sinaloa Cartel was like a family.
- 53:42Everyone was united in a single cartel.
- 53:44They were friends, they ate at the same table table, Hector
- 53:47explained. They were like brothers,
- 53:48parents, uncles, sisters and suddenly they were fighting and
- 53:53locked in a deadly feud. He said that family business was
- 53:56built into a billion dollar enterprise producing the deadly
- 53:59drug fentanyl and flooding US streets with opioids which have
- 54:02cost 10s of thousands of lives. U.S.
- 54:05President Donald Trump declared the cartel and others terrorist
- 54:08organizations and labeled fentanyl a weapon of mass
- 54:11destruction. He threatened Mexico with direct
- 54:13military action if it doesn't bring the drug and the
- 54:16traffickers under control. Both Hector and Julio were
- 54:19wearing body armor, 14kg of Kevlar and armored plate and
- 54:24armor plate. Julio said it was essential.
- 54:26We don't know if the people responsible for the attacks are
- 54:29still at the scene or if they completed their objective and
- 54:31suddenly disappeared. So we've run the risk of being
- 54:34caught in the crossfire of an attack and getting injured.
- 54:36The sun was beginning to set as we drove back to the paramedic
- 54:39base in a city that once came alive at night would soon be
- 54:43deserted. Traffic was slow.
- 54:45The Mexican government has sent thousands of troops to Sinaloa
- 54:49and they set up checkpoints on the most of the roads.
- 54:52It turned out that when the garage owner was killed, three
- 54:54men were kidnapped from the premises.
- 54:56At the same time, the heavily armed soldiers and marines were
- 54:59checking cars for any sign of them.
- 55:01Kidnapping and Coolican can be a fate worse than death.
- 55:05Earlier in the week, a body had been found dumped on the
- 55:07pavement outside one of the main shopping malls.
- 55:10From the state of the victims corpus clear, he'd been
- 55:12tortured. His body was intact with the
- 55:14school had been flayed and his eyes removed.
- 55:17A sign was left with the corpse in large lettering, a message
- 55:20from one cartel faction to another.
- 55:22It accused the dead man of being a traitor and came with a
- 55:25warning. We are coming for the rest of
- 55:27you. Coolican is a prosperous city
- 55:29full of shopping malls, need parks and fancy car dealerships.
- 55:32Outside the mall, a man in a black cycling gear stopped in
- 55:35the rush hour traffic to stare at the police, placed the
- 55:38remains of a man into a body bag.
- 55:40Next day, the body of another victim, mutilated in the same
- 55:43way, was left by the main road heading north outside the city.
- 55:46When the forensic team lifted the accompanying sign, it was
- 55:49difficult to read. Blood ran down its surface and
- 55:52puddled in its gravel verge. Do you want me to keep reading
- 55:55this? I mean this is just.
- 55:59I mean, the ship fucking popped the fuck off like I did.
- 56:03I mean, this is like dark, dark, but like I saw like a meme and
- 56:08it like had like the explosions or like cars on fire in Mexico
- 56:11and it said, someone tell Erica Bush this is how you mourn like
- 56:16a assassination of your husband or something like that.
- 56:20Oh, Erica Kirk Yeah, that's pretty hardcore.
- 56:23I mean, but that's what happens every time is one of these guys
- 56:26gets dropped off and there's a power vacuum.
- 56:28It gets super vicious. The most vicious people take
- 56:30over this guy. El Mencho's kind of fucking
- 56:33stupid because they've been looking for this guy for
- 56:36forever. And you know how he got caught?
- 56:39Allegedly it wasn't even his girls, their only fans model he
- 56:43was hanging out with for a while and fucking and then she like
- 56:46was in public with her in a club.
- 56:48There's photos of them out like the night or two before where
- 56:51she's wearing like his bulletproof vest with like and
- 56:55it looks like an FBI one, but it's got the you know, it's like
- 57:00CJ, like SC on it, you know, for like whatever they are seen
- 57:07Willa cartel. But like she's like photographed
- 57:10with him in public and that's who turned him in.
- 57:12She like tipped them where he was and that's how they found
- 57:15him. And then he got scooped up and
- 57:17he was alive when they took him into custody.
- 57:19And he died on his way to Mexico.
- 57:21And then he died on his way. Yeah, and then they started
- 57:25blowing shit up across like the entire fucking.
- 57:28Oh, I mean, there were, I mean, there's still to this day,
- 57:31there's Americans that are trapped down there.
- 57:34We were on vacation. Yeah, what I heard was that this
- 57:37was basically like, Trump wanted blood.
- 57:40He wanted, yeah, he wanted somebody's head.
- 57:42And they knew that like, if by doing this, it's like going to
- 57:45cause all this fucking violence, but they're like, just to
- 57:48appease Trump and be like, yeah, we're doing something.
- 57:51So they did this like knowing it's going to like cause more
- 57:55problems than it's solving. Yeah, I mean, but they are
- 57:59continuing to put pressure on it, which I got to give them
- 58:02credit for that. But I mean, these guys, they
- 58:07have like their own Special forces teams.
- 58:09There's like tons of different groups.
- 58:11There's like Las Zetas. The Zetas are like former
- 58:15military and Special Forces guy that just guys that just
- 58:18deserted and they have like tanks, they have helicopters
- 58:22with missiles. Like these guys have some crazy
- 58:24wild shit to where if they want to go into a full, if all the
- 58:27cartels got together had a full-fledged war with all of
- 58:31their stuff against the Mexican army, they'd probably lose, but
- 58:35they would do some serious fucking damage like these guys
- 58:39like and now with what they're saying is we're watching.
- 58:42The The thing is, we have air superiority like it's a.
- 58:45Well, that's us I'm talking about.
- 58:46I'm not. I'm taking the US out of the
- 58:48equation, just the Mexican special forces in the military
- 58:51versus the cartels. There are people that are in the
- 58:54military that leave and steal all their shit and then go join.
- 58:59Like I can like I can see like a prolonged or horrific like
- 59:03insurgency, but like as far as like.
- 59:07They have like Apcs. Like they went up.
- 59:09I know, I understand they have like a lot of shit.
- 59:10I'm just saying like but. Do you know what that an APC is
- 59:13like? It's just a tank with really no
- 59:16guns on it that you just put people in and then you drive.
- 59:19Through buildings and they just open.
- 59:20Up Yeah. Oh yeah, they have a lot of like
- 59:23real. That's what they've been using a
- 59:24lot of his drones. They've been attacking Mexican
- 59:26military and special forces with like rudimentary drone setups
- 59:30and stuff like they're doing some crazy shit.
- 59:32But I mean, I saw a comment and it's kind of true.
- 59:35We're watching this like young generation of cartel people have
- 59:39the biggest crash out in the entire world.
- 59:41That's basically what they're doing right now is their boss
- 59:43got captured, he got killed. Now they're all kind of crashing
- 59:47the fuck out and nobody's safe. And that's like literally that's
- 59:53normally there are people that are safe.
- 59:56Normally there's like no, like we leave these people alone.
- 59:58We fuck with these people. Nobody's safe, airports,
- 1:00:01whatever they can. They're just fucking everything
- 1:00:04up anywhere they can, ambushing people anytime they can.
- 1:00:08And I don't think people in America, some of them don't
- 1:00:10realize it's not like the cartels are all living in some.
- 1:00:14Big mansion in the jungle with guards walking around with guns
- 1:00:18like that exists for like El Mayo, El Mencho, for some of
- 1:00:21these dudes that are the heads of the cartels.
- 1:00:23They have these compounds, but they have 10s of thousands of
- 1:00:27people just, you know, living in like, studio apartments in
- 1:00:31Mexico City. Foot soldiers.
- 1:00:33Yeah, I mean, you know, that's one of the hardest, one of the
- 1:00:36biggest problems they had with catching Pablo Escobar was like,
- 1:00:39everybody was in on it. It's like, oh, my son's a
- 1:00:42lawyer. Who paid for your kid to go to
- 1:00:43law school? Pablo Escobar did.
- 1:00:45That's who paid. He built the the the hospital my
- 1:00:49kid was born in, and he owns the milking milk bottling company
- 1:00:54that my husband works for. Like the level that they
- 1:00:57ingratiate themselves with the people and the public.
- 1:01:00They become these like Robin Hood figures for them that even
- 1:01:03though they do these horrible things, they're like a more
- 1:01:06likable Tony Soprano where they're.
- 1:01:09Like, I mean, that's that's the same thing with Maduro and you
- 1:01:12know, Hugo Chavez before him, same fucking thing.
- 1:01:15It's like you just you, you hand out, you hand out money to poor
- 1:01:19people and. But with Hugo Chavez and with
- 1:01:22Maduro, like those guys were the heads of their state at one
- 1:01:25point. These guys are not.
- 1:01:26These guys are fucking gangsters.
- 1:01:29They're, they're, they're drug dealers.
- 1:01:31They're, you know, they're big. They're, they're loud,
- 1:01:34boisterous, obnoxious, flashy drug dealers.
- 1:01:38Like there's no way anybody in the United States could flash
- 1:01:42the amount of wealth that they do and do the crazy shit that
- 1:01:45they do on social media and not be taken down.
- 1:01:48So it's like this weird ecosystem that exists down
- 1:01:51there. So yes, you are right.
- 1:01:53By doing that, I'm sure some of it is to appease Trump and get
- 1:01:56them off of his ass and have them kind of like have him back
- 1:02:00up a little bit and telling them what to do.
- 1:02:02But yes, it does create this power vacuum which is super
- 1:02:06deadly, super dangerous. And any, and that's true for any
- 1:02:10moment in time in history when you have some these big imposing
- 1:02:14authority figures, be him in elected public office or not,
- 1:02:19you see them, whatever those people do leave.
- 1:02:21When you see a Chavez, when you see some of those other people
- 1:02:24leave too, there's a massive power vacuum and then it gets
- 1:02:27filled and with and I don't know why we think it'll be any
- 1:02:31different in the 50 something. It's why we used to stop.
- 1:02:35We stopped resume change. We stopped assassinations.
- 1:02:38You know, it's like you never know what the fuck's going to
- 1:02:40happen next. You could get a worse outcome
- 1:02:43next. It's like you don't just like
- 1:02:45take people out and then just fingers crossed in like a nation
- 1:02:51state setting. I'm not saying you don't take
- 1:02:54this guy out and you know, just because like they're you know,
- 1:02:57they're going to crash out and you know, you know, whatever
- 1:03:01cartel Max cartel maxing and just blow up like, you know,
- 1:03:05like a bunch of shit for no reason, but it's just like it's
- 1:03:09awesome. I don't know, I used to not have
- 1:03:15a problem with the cartels until the fentanyl, You know, it's
- 1:03:19like like I'm here, but we need people.
- 1:03:22We need the people producing the cocaine like I need.
- 1:03:25We need these people like viable.
- 1:03:28Because if I ever wanted when and I get the inkling to do some
- 1:03:35cocaine, some Bolivian marching powder, I want it to be.
- 1:03:41Some Archie Bunker. I want it.
- 1:03:42I want it to be on point like Stacey Adams.
- 1:03:47I mean, that's fair. But but fentanyl to me is like,
- 1:03:53like it's funny because I don't know if funny is the right word,
- 1:03:56but like Trump naming it a weapon of mass destruction.
- 1:03:59So I've been saying that too. It's like this shit's more
- 1:04:01deadly than anthrax. Like how the fuck is this like a
- 1:04:04drug and not like a fucking chemical weapon, dude?
- 1:04:08And then like Trump probably named a weapon of mass
- 1:04:11destruction for his own fucking reasons.
- 1:04:12So you can go after like Maduro, who's literally never sold
- 1:04:16fentanyl ever, but just claiming he does.
- 1:04:18And then you know, but fennel, I mean, I don't know how else you
- 1:04:22would describe it. Did you like a fucking like a
- 1:04:25little tiny like grain of salt size of fennel could just like
- 1:04:29kill you and an elephant like get the fuck out of here.
- 1:04:34Yeah. I mean, obviously it has medical
- 1:04:36applications that people use it for.
- 1:04:41Right. But I mean like as far as the
- 1:04:42street drug, are you fucking kidding?
- 1:04:44No, it's a street drug. It's fucking crazy.
- 1:04:45Right. It's just this is probably the
- 1:04:50other drugs is like, it's like you can't even get like normal
- 1:04:54drugs like without worrying about fentanyl, like you're
- 1:04:57ruining it for everybody. That's a thing though.
- 1:05:00So obviously drinking and a lot of those things are on the
- 1:05:03decline for the younger generations, but there's that's
- 1:05:07a whole thing where they make them, they test it like there's
- 1:05:10kids that they buy test kits on Amazon and test it.
- 1:05:14There's vending machines out here where you can get free
- 1:05:15fentanyl test strips. Yeah, and they'll test it out to
- 1:05:18make sure there's no fentanyl in it before they buy coke or buy
- 1:05:22whatever it is that they're buying.
- 1:05:23The the last time I was buying coke, the dealer had the strips.
- 1:05:25He was like he would test it and I was like, I trust you bro, I'm
- 1:05:29a millennial. Like I probably shouldn't test
- 1:05:35it. I didn't realize how I'm.
- 1:05:36A millennial like my drugs with a little bit of mystery.
- 1:05:38Well, yeah, just like I'd like to pretend there's no fentanyl
- 1:05:42in the world. Yeah, no.
- 1:05:44And that's, yeah, it is pretty nuts, but we'll see.
- 1:05:49I mean, this isn't going to stop.
- 1:05:50I mean, and whenever it does stop, somebody's going to come
- 1:05:53out in charge, I guess. Allegedly the new leader of the
- 1:05:57cartel is like his son or like his nephew or some fucking kid.
- 1:06:02But they're all stupid like they.
- 1:06:04Is it Lil Mencho? Lil Mencho Menchito.
- 1:06:09Menchito. Like that little, little mencho
- 1:06:16manche la Tito. And it's like baby like TV tiny,
- 1:06:19you know? What I'm saying Joseph Manchito.
- 1:06:28Manchito. I do anything for Manchito, I
- 1:06:31blow up Puerto Vallarta. I blow.
- 1:06:33Sorry, that's what. They're saying like, like even
- 1:06:37the resorts aren't safe. Like all of them.
- 1:06:40Like nothing safe. Like I saw him when they were
- 1:06:42like listing him off and just like went like across Mexico.
- 1:06:45It's like each province. It's like from Baja California
- 1:06:49to fucking Cancun. On the Baja with Jesse.
- 1:06:52Careful dude. He might have taken Jesse's
- 1:06:56probably blown up. He.
- 1:06:58Probably took out Mencho himself.
- 1:07:01He wouldn't do that. He wouldn't do that.
- 1:07:05Yes, he was. He's not a narc.
- 1:07:10Maybe, maybe he took his leather jacket.
- 1:07:12He took my jacket like maybe he's like took his leather.
- 1:07:15Jacket you know that's what we need to get to to talk to the
- 1:07:18bail Ladeshians. It's Jesse.
- 1:07:21Jesse, he'll be our. Manager.
- 1:07:24Yeah, yeah. He can represent us with the
- 1:07:26with the Bangladesh congregation.
- 1:07:30He'll be our PR director. Yeah, just just handle it, bro.
- 1:07:34We'll give him power of it, certainly.
- 1:07:36Is he like a far left Steve Bannon?
- 1:07:39Far left. And like, grungy greasiness.
- 1:07:43You Bannon is a disingenuous piece of shit.
- 1:07:45You produce Seinfeld and then wears 3 fucking button gowns and
- 1:07:49smells like shit. It is wild that he produced
- 1:07:54Seinfeld. And I think her it.
- 1:07:57Makes me mad. And by produced I mean like he
- 1:08:01was the money man, like one of them.
- 1:08:06Yeah. But his name's on the fucking
- 1:08:08credits, I think. I hate that.
- 1:08:14Steven, if he was just come to our side, bro, be diabolical for
- 1:08:18the right, for the right team, which is the left team.
- 1:08:21Article #3 from the AP Cuba says 4 killed in speedboat shooting
- 1:08:26or attempting to infiltrate the country Havana Cuba's government
- 1:08:30said late Wednesday that 10 passengers on a boat that opened
- 1:08:33fired on its soldiers were armed on its soldiers were armed.
- 1:08:37Cubans living in the US And we're trying to infiltrate the
- 1:08:40island and unleash terrorism. The announcement came hours
- 1:08:44after Cuba said its soldiers killed 4 people and wounded six
- 1:08:47others aboard a Florida registered speed boat that had
- 1:08:50entered Cuban waters and an open fire on soldiers first, injuring
- 1:08:54one officer. Cuba's government said the
- 1:08:57majority of the 10 people on the boat have a known history of
- 1:09:00criminal activity and violence. The story is so weird to me.
- 1:09:06The Secretary of State, Marco Rubio, who notoriously hates
- 1:09:09Cubans, has told reporters. Earlier, back the fuck up.
- 1:09:13He is Cuban. Yeah, he hates.
- 1:09:15He hates the Cuban government. H Cuban Rubio told reporters
- 1:09:20earlier that he was made aware of the incident and that the US
- 1:09:23is now gathering its own information to determine if they
- 1:09:26were victims, were American citizens or permanent residents.
- 1:09:29We have various different elements of the US government
- 1:09:32that are trying to identify elements of the story that may
- 1:09:35not, that may not be provided to us now.
- 1:09:38You said elements twice in two sentences.
- 1:09:40I don't trust you. Rubio said that while at the
- 1:09:43airport at Saint Kitts, where he was attending a regional summer
- 1:09:48with Caribbean leaders, Cuban government identified 2 of the
- 1:09:52boat passengers as a Miguel Sanchez Gonzalez and Leo Leo Don
- 1:09:58Enrique Cruz Gomez, who are wanted by the Cuban authorities
- 1:10:02based off of their involvement in promotion, planning,
- 1:10:05organization, financing, support or Commission of actions carried
- 1:10:10out in the national territory or in other countries in connection
- 1:10:14with acts of terrorism. Good Lord.
- 1:10:17What, like they know exactly who these fools are, but like, it's
- 1:10:21like four dudes from Florida came here with guns shooting.
- 1:10:25We had to kill them. This is so SUS SUS SUS.
- 1:10:30If somebody, if some, you know what makes it SUS too is that
- 1:10:33it's like they're one in four authorities based on their this
- 1:10:36is the longest shit ever based on their involvement in the
- 1:10:38promotion, planning, organization, financing,
- 1:10:41support, or commissions of actions carried out in the
- 1:10:44national territory or in other countries in connection with
- 1:10:48acts of terrorism. And then, and then here they are
- 1:10:52coming to do some terrorism. They just named off like
- 1:10:56anything promotion, planning, organizing, financing, support
- 1:11:01or Commission of actions carried out.
- 1:11:04Like that's crazy. They're just like, I mean, look,
- 1:11:07Cuban government's for. Me this is this sounds like like
- 1:11:10this is either like this is CIA and shit got went wrong.
- 1:11:16This is like some inside Cuban bullshit and they're trying to
- 1:11:19like, say this boat came from Florida or this is like a false
- 1:11:26flag or something for Trump to to then like escalate shit on
- 1:11:31Cuba. Yeah, highly unusual shootout.
- 1:11:34Trump's top diplomat refused to speculate on what happened,
- 1:11:37saying it'll be a wide range of things that the US will not
- 1:11:40solely rely on what the Cuban authorities have provided this
- 1:11:43so far, probably smart. Suffice to say, it is highly
- 1:11:46unusual to see shootouts in open seas like that.
- 1:11:49It's not something we see everyday.
- 1:11:51It's something, frankly, that hasn't happened to in Cuba in a
- 1:11:54very long time. But that's from Rubio.
- 1:11:58We've been going around blowing up people on boats all in the
- 1:12:02Caribbean. That's what I'm saying.
- 1:12:05So we're shocked somebody and one of them like shocked one of
- 1:12:08our like get the fuck out of. Here, it's not one of ours,
- 1:12:10though. It's like that's this whole
- 1:12:12thing is murky. It's like these.
- 1:12:14It's a Florida registered boat, so they're the boat was
- 1:12:17registered to Florida. Right, right.
- 1:12:18And again, that's Cuba wants to make sure that they that is
- 1:12:22mentioned, right? But then also they know who two
- 1:12:25of these dudes are and they're all they're like wanted for
- 1:12:30terrorism. And then they just knew they
- 1:12:33were coming up on this boat, like with, you know, the, I
- 1:12:36don't know. Well, I'm sure they blew them up
- 1:12:38and then they captured the people that were on the boat,
- 1:12:42probably got the dead bodies, and they're like, hey, I know
- 1:12:44this fucking guy. Right.
- 1:12:46But I'm just saying why the why was the confrontation popped off
- 1:12:49in the fucking first place? Because.
- 1:12:51There's probably some random ass boat coming into Cuban waters.
- 1:12:55OK, you don't just you then you just you just take, you take it
- 1:12:58over and whatever that it's called, you've.
- 1:13:02Comedy of the shit. Comedy board board that shit I.
- 1:13:06Mean. I guess I mean.
- 1:13:08Board that shit homie. You might get drone striked
- 1:13:11from. Stephen Miller, you don't just
- 1:13:14fucking just like just add a like they said, this hasn't
- 1:13:18happened in a long time. Just Willy nilly.
- 1:13:21The one boat you picked up, it happened to be a bunch of
- 1:13:23Terry's on it. What happened?
- 1:13:25Froggy. A bunch of Terry's getting
- 1:13:26Froggy. What happened?
- 1:13:27What happened the last time a bunch of random boats, speed
- 1:13:30boats are flying in to Cuba? It was a Bay of Pigs.
- 1:13:33That's. What I'm?
- 1:13:34Saying so, I mean, but but it's it's it's understandable this
- 1:13:40devil's advocate understandable why.
- 1:13:43Yeah, me too. But it's understandable why some
- 1:13:45of these countries would be hypersensitive to any boats from
- 1:13:48America flying into their country in their in their
- 1:13:51protected water space. That's not shocking, like
- 1:13:55because of the way we've been acting in the region and acting
- 1:13:59and blowing up people and fishing boats, I'm sure.
- 1:14:02Again, these are like Cuban nationals.
- 1:14:04I don't. They don't know that.
- 1:14:05They just know there was a boat. They named them.
- 1:14:07They named. Them after they killed them
- 1:14:09after the so. So that means they they might
- 1:14:11have figured out who they were after the fact, but they said
- 1:14:13they shot at their ship. So then they blew them the fuck
- 1:14:16up. I don't know.
- 1:14:18I'm just saying we can't be surprised that if a boat from
- 1:14:21America rolls up onto into Venezuela and it's going to be
- 1:14:25lying it into Venezuelan waters. How big is this boat?
- 1:14:3010 people, probably not that big but we've blown up smaller
- 1:14:33boats. Fucking speed boats rolling in
- 1:14:36you got. I'm just saying we've been
- 1:14:37blowing. Up.
- 1:14:38In that area, in that area, we reap what we sow and the way
- 1:14:42we've been. Saying we quit Saying we.
- 1:14:46The US government, so we can't be shocked.
- 1:14:50We can't be shocked if they're blowing up a boat that comes
- 1:14:53from the US. They don't know that.
- 1:14:55It's not that. They just see a boat coming into
- 1:14:57their waters and they shoot it the fuck up.
- 1:15:00Bro bro you are just taking this way to literally from them.
- 1:15:06No, I'm just no, I'm not saying that it's just Q I'm.
- 1:15:08Saying any doubt, I'm saying that I doubt that's what
- 1:15:11happened. I'm I highly doubt it too, but
- 1:15:14what I am. Saying wasn't just some boat
- 1:15:16drive. What?
- 1:15:16I'm saying is big picture. We've been do blowing up other
- 1:15:20people's boats, Venezuelan boats.
- 1:15:22I think I think this is something else.
- 1:15:25No, but I'm yeah, it's something else.
- 1:15:27But we also can't act like in some way that that these can't
- 1:15:30be this can't our actions can't correlate to people taking
- 1:15:34action against our boats. That's what I'm.
- 1:15:36Saying, but it also could be like a.
- 1:15:39It's probably bullshit. False flag.
- 1:15:42It's a way to get it's, you know, it's like when we, the
- 1:15:45Germans sunk our fucking boat to get us into the war.
- 1:15:49World War One. Yeah, Come on, Pearl Harbor.
- 1:15:55Come on. What Cuba's trying to get in the
- 1:15:57war into a war with the US. Donald Trump's trying to get
- 1:16:00into war with Cuba. So he just sent them down there
- 1:16:02and was like, go blow them up, get them blown up.
- 1:16:09Send them in there. Shoot some Americans, give me a
- 1:16:13reason. Shoot some Americans who aren't
- 1:16:17actually Americans. Like keeping dissidents.
- 1:16:19They might be permanent residents because that makes a
- 1:16:22difference. For him, it does.
- 1:16:24No, I know it does. That's like we're looking into
- 1:16:26it. We're trying to figure out what
- 1:16:27their status was. Like, give me a reason, but I
- 1:16:30don't want to. Like you know how many real
- 1:16:33Americans dead? Yeah, those ones that really
- 1:16:36want to be poser Americans, that's who we put out there.
- 1:16:40Expendable Americans. Jesus final article because it
- 1:16:48was all heavy energy habits. The energy habits that cause the
- 1:16:56most family arguments. A new study lifts the lid on
- 1:16:59energy habits most likely to start an argument in the UK
- 1:17:03household. I feel like it applies
- 1:17:06everywhere, but it's from Skype. Breakfast tastes like shit
- 1:17:10again. On a day when energy bills are
- 1:17:13making headlines, we thought we'd share some research on
- 1:17:16energy habits that lead to the most household arguments.
- 1:17:19I'm going to read the most common household argument
- 1:17:22arguments. Leaving lights on in empty
- 1:17:24rooms. 44% of people argue about this is you really have to
- 1:17:28argue. I feel like you just turn the
- 1:17:29lights off if you're not in the fucking room.
- 1:17:34How would you turn the lights off if you weren't in the room?
- 1:17:37Well, when you leave the room, you'd turn off the lights.
- 1:17:39Right. And the argument is when people
- 1:17:41forget to do that. Yeah, right.
- 1:17:44But. I mean, I don't know why you
- 1:17:45would just forget to do that just like that's.
- 1:17:47See, you are now that's you. Are you in a bit?
- 1:17:51But there there. Are no, I'm saying this on you
- 1:17:53are now on fully entrenched on one side of the argument and now
- 1:17:58had someone forgot to do it. You're just being like I don't
- 1:18:01get why you would forget to do that.
- 1:18:03Maybe like, I'm sorry. Being a lazy bitch leaving the
- 1:18:06TV on when no one's watching. 40% argue about that.
- 1:18:10I'm guilty of doing that. I don't think it's worth.
- 1:18:13Sometimes I like to do that. I like it in the background,
- 1:18:17like the white noise. I can listen to it leaving
- 1:18:20gadgets on TV's, gamings, consoles and speakers.
- 1:18:24Cost of heating, temperature of the thermostat.
- 1:18:28So that's what, like 1234 to 6th on the list?
- 1:18:35Leaving doors open when it's cold.
- 1:18:37Yeah, that's stupid. Putting on the heating instead
- 1:18:42of wearing a jumper. Hey, you don't turn on the
- 1:18:45heater, put on your jumper. It's right there, isn't it?
- 1:18:48That's weird. Just I mean, you could use
- 1:18:50blankets, but if you're cold, leaving the windows opens.
- 1:18:54But last on the list, energy bills.
- 1:18:56So all of this shit has to do with your energy bill.
- 1:18:58They argue about that, but they argue about the bill the least.
- 1:19:03That's weird. Did you whatever what what would
- 1:19:08you say the is the most prevalent argument you've had
- 1:19:11when you've had roommates like? When I came to that when I lived
- 1:19:14with my girlfriend. Or no, you had that other, you
- 1:19:18had a couple roommates. It was a dude.
- 1:19:21I've lived for like 13 people. Who would be your most common
- 1:19:26argument? When I lived in the condo with
- 1:19:34with the girlfriend, I think it was fuck, I don't even know.
- 1:19:41We didn't really argue cleanliness with like that.
- 1:19:47When I lived with like the homies and like the satellite
- 1:19:49houses like out in San Diego with the fraternity, like there
- 1:19:51were actual fraternity houses. Just everybody in my house lived
- 1:19:54or was in the same fraternity. But yeah, dude, like one of the
- 1:19:58houses I lived in was so fucking dirty.
- 1:20:00Like there's raccoons coming in and birds and yeah.
- 1:20:05Raccoons and birds were in your house.
- 1:20:09I felt like Doctor Dolittle man. Dude that's crazy I'd crash out.
- 1:20:13Mine would definitely be people being dirty as shit.
- 1:20:16That was always my biggest thing is like the dishes and just not
- 1:20:20cleaning up after themselves. So it's always.
- 1:20:23My whenever I lived, I lived in an apartment with my boys,
- 1:20:27Richard and Ricky. Ricky was younger than us.
- 1:20:29Richard and me were in the same pledge class and Ricky was like
- 1:20:32a little bitch. But you know, he started working
- 1:20:35out so he thought he was tough. He was Filipino.
- 1:20:39He'd always be cooking rice up in the in the apartment and is
- 1:20:44like rice cooker and I just smell like shit.
- 1:20:50And I think, I think we got into it one time also, you know, the
- 1:20:54one time we got into it was I introduced him to the song
- 1:20:58Lollipop by Lil Wayne when it first came out.
- 1:21:00OK. Those are good times.
- 1:21:02And he, him and Richard went out that night, and I didn't go out
- 1:21:07that night. They came back.
- 1:21:09But I think they've been doing blow or we're still doing blow.
- 1:21:11And then they put lollipop on on repeat at like 3:30 in the
- 1:21:16morning, super, super loud until, and then I got up and
- 1:21:20then Ricky stepped to me. And then he had to realize that
- 1:21:23I was so stronger than him, even though he'd been going to the
- 1:21:25gym because I'm retard maxing Jesus.
- 1:21:32Christ. No, I actually heard that.
- 1:21:35OK, so this guy was trying to on IG Reels was trying to sell
- 1:21:40retard maxing. He's like think about.
- 1:21:43He's like retards, retards. He's like you got a retard Max
- 1:21:46man. He's like retards.
- 1:21:48They don't think, they just do. That's terrible, I know.
- 1:21:58But yeah, I just thought that was interesting when I was
- 1:22:02reading about this. Like how everybody bitches.
- 1:22:05It's like the same arguments. Lights, Sure, I think you can
- 1:22:10have some lights that you always leave on, you know what I'm
- 1:22:13saying? Like you're not home, you leave
- 1:22:14that light on, but you can't leave every light.
- 1:22:18On turn that light out. Mr. Deffenbaugh, I'm assuming.
- 1:22:23RIP. Mr. Deffenbaugh, don't.
- 1:22:25Assume, don't assume. Maybe I mean well, if you're
- 1:22:28out. There with his jerk game, he
- 1:22:30might might be like, you know. There's so many like stories and
- 1:22:34rumors they just had tons of porn.
- 1:22:36We're talking about our tech Ed teacher.
- 1:22:39Instead of raising your hand in his class, you turned a light
- 1:22:43bulb on that was at your desk because that's technology.
- 1:22:46But people would forget to turn the light bulb off after their
- 1:22:49question was answered, and he'd go turn that light out.

- 1:23:13He was actually coolest. And it was also rumoured that
- 1:23:15because he had like a like a closet in like the tech Ed
- 1:23:19classroom and everybody said that it was locked.
- 1:23:22Everyone said that's where he kept his porn.
