- 1:17So I have been looking forward to this as well.
- 1:20So this today's discussion guys, is going to be kind of like a as
- 1:25Eric mentioned earlier before we got on here, a sort of Round
- 1:28Table discussion. Where Going to be talking about
- 1:30some things, but I think something that is on our hearts
- 1:33and Minds a lot. Not just myself, or Eric for
- 1:36instance. But a lot of folks out here and
- 1:38subject being of in times that we're in right now, global
- 1:44pandemic situation, a lot of social distancing taking place,
- 1:48things may be starting to loosen up a little bit, but for the
- 1:50longest part of six months now, it's going to very strict and
- 1:54different lifestyle, that a lot of us are being when stay put I
- 2:00do too, but that we're kind of having to live, you know, so we
- 2:02wanted to talk today, Eric and I about this dealing with, or
- 2:08being able to maintain or even start a tribe.
- 2:11So, we're talking about tribal Heathen reading in times of
- 2:14social distancing. So, I have been looking forward
- 2:18to. That was a little bit of a long
- 2:19intro, but I'm Eric's the Eric's, the word Weaver.
- 2:23I'm the word dumper. I don't know.
- 2:27It's all right, dude. So what we do, So, the first
- 2:30thing that I think a lot of folks may be trying to do now,
- 2:36especially with the whole social distancing thing.
- 2:38We're quarantined is either, starting the tribe themselves
- 2:43may be wanting to look for tribe to join, you know, so I think
- 2:50the, the focus would be like, starting a fresh starting new
- 2:54and it comes to, you know, either building your own tribe
- 2:57or starting your own tribe because Way, the way, we
- 3:02understand it, right? We with the ultimate focus being
- 3:04on, we have what we have our own individual lock, right?
- 3:09We're talking about pretty it's I would say like not one-on-one
- 3:11either through. So we're going to start talking
- 3:13about things about locking what that look means.
- 3:15And we have our own individual like that.
- 3:18Then you have the tribals luck, which is a collective, right?
- 3:25So you don't want to do anything.
- 3:26That's going to start off. Tribe and not having strong luck
- 3:33attached to it. So Eric's had his tribe, the
- 3:37three guard folk. Now, for how long that Gator.
- 3:43I believe we founded that 2010. So I think it's where I think
- 3:50we're right at ten years this year.
- 3:52Matter of fact, I think this one's marks our 10-year
- 3:57anniversary. I go back and check, well, In
- 4:00that shirt from La ATP, but I'm pretty sure I'm pretty sure it's
- 4:03silly TP 2010 that we kicked off, red gar.
- 4:08Oh, well, well, happy anniversary.
- 4:10It's of red gar. If that's the case.
- 4:12Thank you. I'm like now about 98 percent.
- 4:15Certain. I need to get on the horn and
- 4:16talk to my people be like, hey guys, we got an anniversary.
- 4:20Yeah, so, you know, very, I think, you know anybody, that
- 4:25that we, I think you and I collectively or individually
- 4:27have have talked about the The building of tribe and that it
- 4:31can't be something that's forced, has to be something that
- 4:35naturally and organically very organic and it comes, but it
- 4:40really comes from community. So, without the community to
- 4:43build that tribe from here, like skipping steps, putting the cart
- 4:48before the horse, as it were. So I think that has an important
- 4:54thing to do with right tribe, right?
- 4:56Before something. Yeah, absolutely.
- 5:00I mean we're talking about I mean before we even get into the
- 5:03subject, how do you build a tribe or develop your tribe or
- 5:08even supporting the drive? Yeah, in the era of social
- 5:16distancing and it's a globalization say there and
- 5:19social distancing. There's a number of social
- 5:21elements that go into kind of where the world is right now and
- 5:25what all we're dealing with. So we can refer to it as that
- 5:27but we both understand there's there's a lot more that just so
- 5:29Social distancing played, it has to be taken into account.
- 5:32When you're dealing with trying to protect your tribe, get it at
- 5:35a sec. But, yeah, when it comes to
- 5:36starting a tribe, just naturally, it's difficult for
- 5:40newbies, especially or even seasoned heathens.
- 5:43They're looking, they just feel that sense of need to belong,
- 5:46and they want to eat part of a tribe so bad and they want to
- 5:51just rush it, you know, they get so excited about the concept and
- 5:55and unfortunately, a lot of them haven't had the experience of
- 5:57tribe and whatnot, the force they They want to build too
- 6:01fast. They want to start, you know,
- 6:04they get a group of friends together and then immediately
- 6:06want to start throwing names at it, and setting up a structure
- 6:10and all this stuff. And I haven't even really had
- 6:11the time to establish Worth, or to build friends with one
- 6:14another and almost almost every time those things just fall
- 6:18apart. So me before we even could
- 6:22discuss, how to do it social distancing.
- 6:25Yes, start everything think that urge to run.
- 6:29Hush. Yeah, you gotta walk before you
- 6:31run man. You got to walk before you run
- 6:35that I completely agree, that tribe has to grow organically
- 6:37and slowly over time. You can't just can't just rush
- 6:41it. You can't just throw at it and
- 6:43make it happen. It's not going to work.
- 6:44That way. That my big thing is you have to
- 6:48grow The Roots deep for the tree to grow.
- 6:49If you grow them. If you go the tree too fast for
- 6:51that root system is just going to fall over at the first wind
- 6:56mean, it's so you got to take a minute and let the root set.
- 7:00Then they can grow. Yeah.
- 7:05Yeah, and that's kind of how it started like for me, you know,
- 7:09for instance. I had not been looking away.
- 7:14Even though there were some local kindred's or tribes in the
- 7:17in my area and I was looking to be be a part of something,
- 7:21right? Belonged to something.
- 7:24They weren't they like the, their, their tribal structure.
- 7:27Just didn't fit what I was looking for us.
- 7:29Specifically and I did nothing wrong to say about those folks.
- 7:32It's just it wasn't fitting for me.
- 7:34So I you know a lot to do with Erics Channel and the things
- 7:40he's talking about with you know, building tribes stuff took
- 7:43a lot of ideas and inspiration. He was a big inspiration for for
- 7:46me. So once the community got built,
- 7:49which was done through a social media, social media was a big
- 7:53part in getting that Community, but we actually had to then meet
- 7:58in person, right? We can't just say.
- 8:00Oh, I've got a hundred people online in my, you know, even
- 8:05community and then let's build a tribe out of those people.
- 8:09Like there has to be that physical element.
- 8:12Yeah, okay. To the social distancing thing
- 8:15that makes it challenging more than others can maybe, you know,
- 8:20aggressively seek that that closeness physicality, right?
- 8:25I can't tell you the number of times.
- 8:27I've seen people on like heated forums online.
- 8:29Line or heated Facebook groups were the worst they'd Rock along
- 8:34and then all of the sudden they would decide like a local.
- 8:38Somebody's local group would be like, okay.
- 8:40So this is, you know, middle of nowhere, Texas is heathens and
- 8:46then they would get just enough people on there to show you the
- 8:50interest. Maybe have a meet-up or two
- 8:52decided they were going to be friends and then just return the
- 8:59Facebook group into a tribe and I have no idea what they were
- 9:05thinking on that one and it died.
- 9:07I've seen a couple of groups do this and it just flabbergasted
- 9:10me every time. It's like, you guys actually
- 9:12need physicality for this to work, you know, you can't do a
- 9:15virtual tribe and it'd be an actual drive.
- 9:18You can have a virtual friend group that you can't have a
- 9:20virtual Drive. Yeah.
- 9:24Yeah, and I think that that's a lot of times where people get,
- 9:28Maybe not, maybe not. Used, but they get misled.
- 9:33You know, they think, well, I've been talking to this person for
- 9:35so long, you know, you can get to know somebody's really well
- 9:38without having to physically be. So let you know being bi in
- 9:42person. Let's say me and you for
- 9:44instance, right? Eric, like, we've talked online
- 9:46and we've collaborated virtually for your to now.
- 9:51Right. I've gotten to know one another
- 9:54and that our conversations have, you know, developed and you talk
- 9:57about various things even offline.
- 9:59Um, but still there's there's you get a sense of what could
- 10:05what Frisk could possibly be me right after I get that true.
- 10:09That true feel that that actual thing, right?
- 10:12There's a there's a palpable difference between Cala T
- 10:19element. We are actually sharing energies
- 10:21and when you are using a conduit of the internet and that's
- 10:25that's something that I plan on exploring some a little bit in
- 10:28some of my future videos. Off and on as a subject, as, you
- 10:31know, the whole in the modern era, modern either, e equal.
- 10:34How much exactly how much energy do you conduct through virtual
- 10:39channels? And, you know, spoiler alert.
- 10:41The answer is very very little if any at all because there's a
- 10:44number of disconnects. There's a number of channels
- 10:46there. There is a psychic connection.
- 10:50So does the but not really, it's more a psychological connection
- 10:55than it is connection. Anyway.
- 10:59Um, yeah, the whole physicality thing.
- 11:03I mean, you we know from firsthand, there's a total
- 11:07difference when you actually get to meet someone in person and
- 11:09interact with them and build energy that way versus doing
- 11:12over there we do best. Can we have a lot of fun with
- 11:15it, too? Oh, yeah.
- 11:17Yeah. I think I think it's very
- 11:18telling, I mean it does, it does.
- 11:21I mean, this is a form of ourself, you know what I mean?
- 11:24You know, it's not the physical self and it's a simile of it and
- 11:27it's gives us some Sense of like who you are?
- 11:32What kind of person you are where your head's at that sort
- 11:34of thing right over what anybody say one of the things that I
- 11:40think people forget when they're talking about, like, the virtual
- 11:45interaction with people and assuming virtual frith where it
- 11:49doesn't really exist. I see there's no such thing as
- 11:52actual virtual 4S. There's actual for, if it's not,
- 11:55but on the internet, everything goes through a filter.
- 12:00There is there's the filter of production time.
- 12:04There is the filter of yo the period of time between writing
- 12:08and hitting send. There is the filter of persona
- 12:13that a person may be putting on for short period of Time video
- 12:18call or something like that. And then once the call ins, they
- 12:21step out of that character and back into themselves.
- 12:24You really never know what's going on on the other end of the
- 12:27screen. I mean, if you look at some of
- 12:28your favorite celebrities, And stuff and movies, and whatnot.
- 12:31You can get a full sense of that.
- 12:34Kinship with them death again Falls can ship thing that I keep
- 12:37coming back to you on myself and you start to assume that you
- 12:41know them based on the Persona that's been presented to you and
- 12:44then you know you go you follow one of them on Twitter and you
- 12:46find out that they're like way out there.
- 12:48Crazy bad are just that you nothing.
- 12:52Like you actually expected them to be in real life.
- 12:55That can be true that buddy online kids.
- 13:00That some people will do a lot to look real good online and to
- 13:04keep their Persona. They will manage that brand
- 13:07really well and you can have a relationship with the brand but
- 13:11you don't know the person and I've seen some people that are
- 13:14just absolute troglodytes online and then are great people in
- 13:16person. So they they really Embrace that
- 13:20online troll thing. And then in person, they're just
- 13:22puppy dogs. So I it goes either way, but
- 13:26then you got to keep that in mind as you go through you never
- 13:28really know. No.
- 13:32The person on the other end of the line until you actually
- 13:35spend some time with him and figure it out when they don't
- 13:38have the buffer of the internet between you and them.
- 13:41Yeah. No, I think you know for for
- 13:45anybody that's out here that maybe getting that itch, you
- 13:48know, they're like I want to experience that closeness.
- 13:52I want to exchange those energies.
- 13:54I want to be able to understand and build and maintain Frizzle.
- 13:58We talk a little bit about that and the illusion of that online,
- 14:02but they want to get to that. And now we're in this time where
- 14:05it's like, well, a lot of people are very, very aware, and very
- 14:12cautious of how they interact in person with a people.
- 14:15Course, there's barriers and things that we can maintain and
- 14:20distances that we can maintain. How much do you think that it's
- 14:25really impacting? What it means to experience
- 14:30tried, how much do you think that it's a verdict people from
- 14:33doing anything? Or maybe, I don't know.
- 14:37Like, what's your, what's your thoughts on it?
- 14:39Kind of curious? My thoughts are my thoughts, are
- 14:43that one? There are two elements to the
- 14:48social distancing thing that are over, played in the popular
- 14:53element, so I'm not going to get into some of Specific sign.
- 14:59I'm not politicizing the views and everything on it.
- 15:01But in keeping with the ideology of, you know, keeping people
- 15:06safe and night's not over risking the cross-contamination,
- 15:13most tribes are small enough that they can gather even
- 15:19without. Violating the whole number of
- 15:24gathered individuals. I mean, there's enough
- 15:26parameters set within the guidelines of the whole social
- 15:30distancing aspect that you can still get a group of people
- 15:33together. You can still sit your front
- 15:35yard even still Converse. You can still have a great time
- 15:37and spend time around each other and still you can maintain your
- 15:41six feet apart. You can wear your masks, you can
- 15:43get answers. Are you do all of these things
- 15:45and still be able to interact when we go to work every day?
- 15:47At least those of us in essential industries that don't
- 15:50shut down for anything. We didn't shut.
- 15:52Single day, throughout any of this.
- 15:53I've been at work every day throughout the whole thing.
- 15:56And so when we make it work and because that there I know how to
- 16:04do it at home too. So the main hiccup that I see so
- 16:09far with tribe is that his really brought into a kind of
- 16:13hyper Focus, the necessity of localized physicality because I
- 16:19have tried members that are spread throughout I've got one
- 16:23set of my tribe members lives. Three hours from me.
- 16:26And three hours is a bit of a distance.
- 16:29It's also several counties over, which means they are under
- 16:34different guidelines. And so when like, my city would
- 16:38be on a soft lockdown hard lockdown because they live in a
- 16:44very, very, urban area. And when that kicks up it, then
- 16:49plays in a whole different element on whether or not You
- 16:52can travel that three hours over here, to a completely different
- 16:55biome than what they have going on there with regards to
- 16:59infection rates and everything. So it makes a lot of travel
- 17:04because we have to take into account.
- 17:05Everybody's jobs. Everybody's our livelihoods in
- 17:09general. If anybody's got ailing, family
- 17:11members, or elderly family members because there's certain
- 17:15things that we would be willing to do if we were just
- 17:17considering ourselves. As you know anyway, like I don't
- 17:29want to talk too much about the particulars because then
- 17:30everybody will get up and up in the comments.
- 17:32But the gist is that there are legitimate concerns with
- 17:37covid-19 very legitimate concerns and that is enough for
- 17:43us to say, you know, maybe it's best you'll not travel the three
- 17:46and a half hours over here to set up because you got a whole
- 17:50different. Game of exposure over there.
- 17:56We hear and we have entirely different variables.
- 18:01So we're not just connecting the people.
- 18:02We might normally interact with on a daily basis.
- 18:05We're connecting contagion possibilities from two different
- 18:08cities from two, completely different biomes.
- 18:12And so we've had to cut back a lot on the travel from some of
- 18:16our more distant tribe members. And that's that's the part.
- 18:21That's really, really hurt. The most is my localized tribe
- 18:23members. It's still nothing for us, just
- 18:26to kind of pop over and see each other and meet up in some place,
- 18:29can observe social distancing and all the rules and
- 18:31everything, but it's not the hint, it is, when it comes to
- 18:38like a distance, traveled tribe member and under normal
- 18:43circumstances, without all the social distancing stuff.
- 18:46We would never really think about it because it's nothing
- 18:48for them to jump in the car and drive three hours over here.
- 18:50And, you know, spend the day with us.
- 18:52For us to jump in the car and go to them.
- 18:55It's totally different thing. When, you know, one three-hour
- 18:59trip might cost you 2 weeks of work or more depending on the
- 19:02scenario. So it gets dodgy on stuff and
- 19:08that's that's the part where I see the main impact.
- 19:12There are some impacts as far as ritual and things like that
- 19:19goes. The largest one being stumbled,
- 19:21but I figured we probably talked.
- 19:22Ritual elements here in a little bit because that's a whole topic
- 19:25of conversation itself. But as far as the generality
- 19:28goes so minor mechanics, which we'll talk about here in a bit
- 19:31and then the regional proximity has really been brought into
- 19:34laser focus. For me.
- 19:37It is made very evident to me. That I would love to have all of
- 19:40my people within a 50-mile radius of each other.
- 19:43I think that would change things considerably.
- 19:47So, so that's kind of how I see. I mean, what about you?
- 19:50I I'm in line with you on that and I've actually gotten to
- 19:53think more lately because my situation was, you know, we had
- 20:01some folks of the of the community that we deem to be
- 20:06very close. But within our inner yard is,
- 20:09you know, they came and they celebrated duel with us earlier.
- 20:13We do. Are you old in the beginning of
- 20:16the year a little bit more Focus to the actual like historical
- 20:20pre-christian? Pre hakan, the good kind of time
- 20:25frame when you always observed. So, anyways, we got you.
- 20:29When we did you old, the announced the formation of
- 20:34Florida Folk Art right here in Middle, Tennessee, and a month
- 20:38and a half. After that was all of a sudden,
- 20:41it's, you know, shelter in place and pandemic.
- 20:45And so we didn't really get any time to start doing the tribe
- 20:50stuff. You know, like we were, you
- 20:51know, we were Doing like localized Regional or localized,
- 20:54meetups in our in our area just to kind of get to know people
- 20:58and build that, you know, personal relationship.
- 21:01And then from there, we were going to try things.
- 21:03So, the tribe thing really got put on Hulk very quickly before
- 21:09we even got started. But now that we've kind of been
- 21:12in that focus of social distancing, or understanding
- 21:15like this maze, probably like, the new Norm, but, you know, the
- 21:18new normal for a while you're like, okay.
- 21:20Well, now that we've got kind of have Done it.
- 21:22Now for the last four five, six months.
- 21:26We can start thinking about doing things again because it's
- 21:30again, very small groups of people and ending in, you know,
- 21:34your situation in Texas, my situations in Tennessee, other
- 21:37people watch and have other localized and Regional
- 21:41guidelines, and but, you know, laws and stuff that they're
- 21:43probably having to adhere to. So it's going to be different
- 21:45for everybody. But I think it's important to
- 21:48don't just don't let it be like, well, it's, you know, covid we
- 21:51can't Eat up, we can't do it. Don't let that be an excuse to
- 21:54not go and do things be thoughtful and be careful of it
- 21:58because like Eric said you got people that are coming from a
- 22:01totally different geographical location where things could
- 22:05impact them. Way more differently that ties
- 22:07back to the luck of the tribe. Right?
- 22:09And you don't want to do anything that damages anyone's
- 22:12lager or damages, the luck of the tribe and just be consider
- 22:16it right? Like don't don't don't do things
- 22:18that are just so selfish that it makes it makes the whole
- 22:23situation bad. So I think the lesson that I've
- 22:26kind of taken away from this whole thing is that you can't
- 22:30replace the actual, you know, personal physicality of tribe.
- 22:34Can't replace it with anything. But in times like this, when
- 22:39there's other die, it's a dynamic that we're not used to
- 22:43you just kind of have to adapt to it and think outside the box
- 22:47or less, which I kind of like that.
- 22:50It's forcing us to do that. So we talked earlier about like
- 22:56what Frisk? We've talked a lot on both of
- 22:58our channels, I think about what frizz and I people can go back
- 23:02and search either of our channels to find things that I
- 23:05think you actually did one Frisk versus growth or risk as opposed
- 23:10to Gryffindor getting. Yeah.
- 23:12Yeah. I did.
- 23:13I did one. That was kind of an intro into
- 23:15Frisk versus grit, and it's just it's a lexicon difference.
- 23:18But yeah, but it'll give it'll give newbies especially or It'll
- 23:22give people, maybe you're using the terms incorrectly meeting
- 23:27thinking. That means one thing and that it
- 23:28actually means another week. You guys can check all that out.
- 23:31And I wanted to just gonna kind of go over that so forth has to
- 23:35be something. That's Between two people or
- 23:39between multiple people, but in person, it has to be that
- 23:42physicality. You can't, we can't experience
- 23:46what the meaning of frith is either through a zoom call, or
- 23:50through Facebook or through any other sort of online platform.
- 23:56Not not truly, like Eric said, before, I think it's either it,
- 24:01there's real further. There's no words not.
- 24:02There's no online experiences were Is not online experiences,
- 24:10but this whole, the whole thing is, you know, social distancing.
- 24:13Now, I think that Fritz has to hit, you have to have that
- 24:15physicality, but you don't need to be like, you know, up in each
- 24:18other's faces with its that, that sense of trust and
- 24:23obligation that is that is built between individuals.
- 24:27So it's almost like to me, the social distancing thing, doesn't
- 24:31really truly play a factor when it comes to frith.
- 24:40But I'll let you go. I'll let you thought stuff, but
- 24:47the essence, the core element of Fritz is obligation.
- 24:51The trust that is born that is intrinsic.
- 24:53Within fourth is born out of upheld obligations, social
- 24:56obligations to one another, the obligation not to hurt each
- 24:59other, the obligation to defend each other, the obligation to
- 25:02fulfill, whatever your role is within the social contract, etc.
- 25:05Etc. It builds up over time.
- 25:07And just kind of organically develops and you're born into
- 25:10frith in the family, but you can't assume frith with other
- 25:13individuals as you engage in a back-and-forth of mutual
- 25:16obligation, Mutual upheld obligation.
- 25:20And so it's kind of twofold what I wanted to talk about here.
- 25:28But the on the one hand the online thing as far as the
- 25:31virtual versus real and the establishment of frith, there's
- 25:35no obligation. No, Evil obligation to one
- 25:38another through the digital media.
- 25:41If that is your soul relationship.
- 25:44You may have business obligations and upholding those
- 25:47things like okay for instance you and I set up this meeting
- 25:50today to do this Zoom call and if either one of us had not
- 25:55shown up for it, that would damage our reputation in the
- 26:02person's eyes, how reliable we are to that person.
- 26:07But it's not something as intrinsic as like, you know, did
- 26:12you trusted me dearly? And that, you know, I sold
- 26:14something very, very dear to you and didn't even think about how
- 26:17you're going to feel that kind of stuff is a betrayal of
- 26:19breath, you know, but this would be more of a betrayal of good
- 26:22frame which is damaging to the reputation.
- 26:26It functions in a similar fashion from a superficial
- 26:30level. But that's more what we're
- 26:33dealing with online is. We're dealing with a mixture of
- 26:36GIF rain and With, and people don't necessarily understand
- 26:39that those differ versus frith, which, you know, again, that
- 26:47that you go back. Look the videos to get the
- 26:49nuances on that. But the point that I'm making is
- 26:52far as how social distancing may play into frith, is at that core
- 26:57element of obligation, one of the obligations that you have
- 27:00here, fourth web is to care for their well-being, and to not do
- 27:04something selfishly, that may damage there will be So, in
- 27:09essence, by not necessarily Gathering My Tribe for like
- 27:17festivals or something like that, during the middle of a
- 27:20major emic or any kind of situation like this, even if it
- 27:26was biochem agents, nuclear fallout anything like that?
- 27:30By saying, no, let's not get everybody together right now.
- 27:34For this Gathering, you know. Maybe different really Gathering
- 27:38to help protect each other and provide food, and all that
- 27:41stuff. We're doing the commute kind of
- 27:42thing. Yeah, that would be different.
- 27:43But for a socialized Gathering to say, okay, maybe we need to
- 27:47hold off just a little bit for social Gathering.
- 27:50I even though this would be something that would normally be
- 27:53a fourth building exercise. I'm looking to protect your are
- 27:56frith by protecting you guys. By not.
- 28:02What do you do in a potentially harmful situation?
- 28:05I'm upholding my Go. The to look after the well-being
- 28:09of my people. And so, you know, after a
- 28:12fashion being mindful of these things, be mindful of social
- 28:15distancing being mindful of masks.
- 28:18And just general non infection type, protocols is being mindful
- 28:23of the well-being of the other people in your tribe, the other
- 28:25people in your inner goddess and in doing so you're upholding
- 28:28your obligation to them, to not do.
- 28:31So to, you know, be They're really risk-taking in the way
- 28:40you do, your Gathering would be disrespectful to them because
- 28:43you're telling them that you don't care, whether or not
- 28:45they're out for two weeks or more or if their health takes a
- 28:48significant turn or if they have any compounding issues that
- 28:50there could be more to it. If they were to contract the
- 28:53disease. It's a mindfulness thing in the
- 28:57general concept of the principle of the matter.
- 29:01So, that's kind of my take on that.
- 29:05Yeah, not You bring up a really good point, too, because when we
- 29:11were talking about like, preserving luck and preserving
- 29:15for, if maintaining, it's like a preventive measure, you know,
- 29:18it's like the maintenance you do before the problem actually
- 29:20Rises, but you have to have something already there and
- 29:26that's where I think a lot of people now, especially if they
- 29:28didn't get that chance to experience something in person.
- 29:30They're like, well it's because of the pandemic and now we've
- 29:32got to do it differently. And this is modern times doesn't
- 29:35change the actual. Roots of it all, you know, I
- 29:38mean, it doesn't actually change a basis of it.
- 29:40Like, okay, we'll just because you B and C doesn't mean that
- 29:44you just jump to L. And yeah, just because it's just
- 29:49because it's more That doesn't change the metaphysics behind
- 29:54what's going on? Yep.
- 29:56There's there's very real, very, very real functions that are
- 30:00going on here that that you can't bypass just because it's
- 30:02inconvenient. Exactly.
- 30:05And I think that that, you know, comes into the realm of the
- 30:10tribal leader, you know, they're they're ultimately the ones who
- 30:14are like the caretaker of the tribes luck as it were into
- 30:18preserving, to make sure that it doesn't Get damaged.
- 30:21So it's a, it's a, it's a very the the obligation is greater
- 30:28for. Oh, yes, you know, I mean,
- 30:31there's a lot more at stake. I completely agree.
- 30:34This is this a tough time to be a tribal leader at the moment
- 30:38with her. Do the achieved and give you
- 30:40whatever, I don't care. This is a tough time to be a
- 30:43leader because your decisions carry a lot of weight.
- 30:45Yeah. Yeah, that might be another
- 30:49thing we talk about later on just You know, burying up how
- 30:53obligation fits tribe tribal across all the members, but how
- 30:57certain members of the tribe that whatever their position is,
- 31:01how much, how much higher it is, might be any discussion we get
- 31:06into, but I think this is probably the highlight of the
- 31:10conversation because I know you and I have both talked about it,
- 31:13you more. So probably that I in that is
- 31:16having ritual any sort of Whether it be the bloaters
- 31:24sambal, we'll get into that whole thing.
- 31:26But any sort of online ritual, right?
- 31:30I think a lot of people again because they maybe think well
- 31:32because we can't do it in person.
- 31:34We just need to do it. You know, we just need to do
- 31:36something virtually. So people can still experience
- 31:39it. And what is that experience
- 31:41really? Like, I think you're in my
- 31:43opinions on it mirror each other, what I can tell?
- 31:47Yes. Yeah.
- 31:48My whole thing is, like, if you want to stream it.
- 31:51Event and it's like a public event, you know, maybe like a
- 31:54pagan Pride day or something like that where it's just wide
- 31:57open and it's people can see it without being there.
- 32:01That's one thing. When it comes to any sort of,
- 32:04you know, spiritual type activity.
- 32:07Any sort of ritual activity. Like that's where the camera
- 32:11stops. Absolutely.
- 32:16I can I completely agree with you on this.
- 32:19I view the camera is a window to the outside world.
- 32:24Like when I do my videos for my channel and everything.
- 32:27This is a piece of my life that I am just sharing their to that
- 32:34everything. This is out of the troll have
- 32:36and anything can happen with it. And anybody can look in on it at
- 32:39any time at any point and that's that.
- 32:43I mean, that's why I don't film rituals at all.
- 32:45I don't allow photography during my rituals.
- 32:47I don't allow video during my rituals and allow audio during
- 32:49my rituals because there doesn't need to be a window to the
- 32:52outside. You know, when I established the
- 32:54boundary around my original space.
- 32:56I do not need a window between my Sacred Space that I've
- 33:01established and the rest of the profane world because one that
- 33:05puts a crack in the wall and things can go wrong to.
- 33:08It's very disrespectful in the middle and in play and three
- 33:14ivy, That's a very private and deeply personal thing, and
- 33:19whether it's Tribal culture or horse culture, that's for you
- 33:24guys are. That's, that's that's for my
- 33:26home. I call my world, not for the
- 33:29outside world. And yeah, it gets real, like,
- 33:35I'll, for my channel. I did like a video on one of my
- 33:38first backseat festivals at one point in time.
- 33:41And then, I did another one, a little bit later on, for a
- 33:44different festivals. It will, but it got kind of
- 33:47difficult because a lot of my people are not care comfortable,
- 33:54you know, it takes a special kind of person to be like, okay.
- 33:57Yeah, I'm gonna get front of the camera.
- 33:58Talk for everybody across the, you know, some odd thousand
- 34:01subscribers, that may be viewing the channel.
- 34:05They don't necessarily want to step in front of the camera for
- 34:07that, which means I can't exactly take panoramic shots of
- 34:10what's going on. Because people don't want to be
- 34:13on camera, don't want to be on the internet, so, So I very
- 34:16rapidly realized is I'm going through here talking about these
- 34:18different things. It's like I can't really show
- 34:20you guys what it is to be at my Festival because that's a deeply
- 34:24personal thing. And while I would be okay with
- 34:26showing certain elements of it. I still wouldn't personally with
- 34:33ritual or anything like that. Bo me, I wouldn't have a problem
- 34:36necessary showing people playing the games, but even that's
- 34:39deeply personal to them and they didn't want to be on it.
- 34:42So that's that's a thing virtual thing.
- 34:46You can't do certain things virtually you just you just
- 34:48can't. But anyway, I was that's a bit
- 34:51more of a tangent than I think we're planning there.
- 34:52But yes, so ultimately I don't think that the Integrity of
- 35:00ritual that there'd be tribal, you know, blokes to the gods or
- 35:05something or even alive and I say sambal, right.
- 35:10But you know, I will talk a little bit about that but it's
- 35:12like you keep the Integrity of those.
- 35:15Those symbols are whole conversation.
- 35:17Yeah, that's a whole other animal, but it's like you can't
- 35:20maintain the Integrity of those things virtually, you know, so.
- 35:27But I think a lot of people think that they can only, you
- 35:29know, they can't attend this year so they can watch it
- 35:31online. They're not getting the same
- 35:34thing out of it. You're not.
- 35:38I just kind of look at it. Very I shake my head a little
- 35:43bit like not and I mean, ultimately speaking.
- 35:47It's it's a year all your call kind of situation.
- 35:50Yeah. Yeah, that's like you might
- 35:55personally. It did.
- 35:59It's definitely one of the things where I agree with you.
- 36:03I think the Integrity of ritual is compromised by the
- 36:06introduction of that outside window and that technological
- 36:09element. How?
- 36:09I don't even allow Electronics in my Sacred Space, for some of
- 36:13the influence that it has on the flow of energy when we're
- 36:16actually doing ritual, let alone, you know, what, camera to
- 36:19the outside world. I don't know.
- 36:24I mean for folks that are watching and you know, I'm sure
- 36:26we'll see somewhere. On the comments.
- 36:29Well, actually this that of the other, you know, they're going
- 36:31to weigh in and but that we encourage that like, I
- 36:33personally like to see what other people are experienced or
- 36:36what other people's ideas are and does again like, you know,
- 36:39your hall your call and that's saying that you're less lesser,
- 36:42even or a bad even for allowing this sort of thing to happen or
- 36:45whatever like that. That's no, no, that's not our
- 36:47place. These are just ideas and
- 36:49opinions being shared, but I think that one thing that The
- 36:59the social distancing thing or not in this the the virtual
- 37:02meeting and I think one thing that that can do is it can give
- 37:06enough sense of connection with your people.
- 37:10You know, like if I talk to you on the phone and I see your face
- 37:13at the same time, it's almost like wow, there's Eric, you
- 37:16know, it's been so long that we've actually seen each other,
- 37:18but I can see him now. So it kind of feels a little bit
- 37:21of that Gap. I think versus just you know,
- 37:24typing messages or sending text messages or whatever.
- 37:27I think there's some value to it.
- 37:28I just don't think that it should be something that's used
- 37:32to replace the true, meaning of tribal activity being together
- 37:37having those that, that physicality to it and I
- 37:42completely agree with you on that.
- 37:43The the one thing that I've observed when it comes to like
- 37:46on the subject of like Zoom calls or like video,
- 37:49conferencing calls with relation to how it pertains to Modern
- 37:55either Nuri. I I find that video.
- 37:58Conferencing is very, very helpful with being able to
- 38:02maintain connections because you can actually have some virtual
- 38:05face-to-face interaction with people but I find it to be more
- 38:10effective. Once fourth is already been
- 38:11established. You can't really establish frith
- 38:14over that but as an augmenting tool to help prevent the grass
- 38:18from growing too tall to paraphrase the dhamma You get at
- 38:25least maintain some of that connection to keep that palpable
- 38:31to you and in your life. I don't think that you could
- 38:34Forge New riff connections that way, but I do feel like it can
- 38:39be used to augment what you already have in place.
- 38:43The value for it to me is in the social cultural element of
- 38:50things. And I think in that kind of It's
- 38:53like with my tribe. I could do Skype calls with my
- 38:55people and some connection is better than no connection.
- 39:00And if you look at like are dwellings, we are our Deeds
- 39:08action is better than in action. In this particular instance.
- 39:11It's better to have virtual contact than no contact.
- 39:16It's better to have physical contact than virtual contact,
- 39:19but it's still better to have virtual contact then, no
- 39:22contact. It is an Avenue to help kind of
- 39:25keep things connected, but I would try and start a tribe or
- 39:29establish something new and meaningful through this conduit.
- 39:32I don't think the quality of what you get out of it.
- 39:35Is there enough for that now? And I'm glad you brought that up
- 39:39because that was actually something on my mind and I think
- 39:42I ran away with it, talking about something else, but having
- 39:45that frith built already or having that further established
- 39:48having it, there past the, it has to be there before all these
- 39:51other things can can Like you say, you know, you hit say, it's
- 39:56that maintenance. Keeping the grass down a little
- 39:59bit between between each other. But I fully agree that there has
- 40:04to be that you had to have had something for it to build off
- 40:06of. I think I didn't one thing
- 40:11though that this pandemic the social distancing
- 40:14self-quarantine shelter and places whatever various levels
- 40:17of isolation that have come about because of this thing.
- 40:20I think one really important thing for us as heathens to
- 40:27focus on that this situation kind of really helped in a way
- 40:32that force is the focus on our individual hard.
- 40:36Cults are individual. Traditions the things that we do
- 40:41with our immediate, you know, with our with our spouses
- 40:46children families, people who live with that sort of thing.
- 40:50It's really like it made us focused further or closer in
- 40:55word. And if anybody hasn't taken
- 40:59advantage of bettering yourself working on things yourself,
- 41:02whether it be doing, more research studying something that
- 41:06would be beneficial for you. Not just yourself, but for your
- 41:09Collective, your tribe, your Kindred, maybe, you know, your
- 41:13own solitary work. Eric.
- 41:14You recently did a video about the, the solitary Heathen.
- 41:22So folks that are looking into the to do stuff like that, check
- 41:27out Eric's recent video. I'll annotate it and you guys
- 41:29are going to see annotated cards throughout the video.
- 41:31I'm sure you just click on them and then have it down to the
- 41:34description to see that. But, you know, the isolation
- 41:38the, the shelter in place, those sort of things that makes a
- 41:43perfect opportunity. I think to focus on how we
- 41:47better ourselves, how we build ourselves up individually, which
- 41:50can then at luck and help build the the integrity and luck of
- 41:54the tribe. I was curious.
- 41:57What year if you gotten a chance to think about that sort of
- 42:00thing at all, or I actually have and I'm not my opinion yours.
- 42:04Yours a lot. In this particular instance, the
- 42:08The pullback from the social element of things there
- 42:12reorientation on home. Has really brought into Focus,
- 42:16the importance of having a strong heart occult even read
- 42:23begins at home. I'm a Grassroots hidenori kind
- 42:25of guy, it's Hearth and then Clan and in tribe for me.
- 42:29And so when things like this happen and it starts to shrink
- 42:34your world, you know, the outer full community.
- 42:38Is one of the first things that gets cut away when it comes time
- 42:40to start bringing it in and protecting because of the whole,
- 42:44you know, social distancing or whatever elements and it could
- 42:47be anything. It doesn't necessarily have to
- 42:49be the pandemic. It can be any kind of element
- 42:51with regards to that, you end up with that outer ring, kind of
- 42:57going away and shrinking down to the inner ring.
- 43:03You end up with the then the tribe starting to go where you
- 43:09have limited access to your tribe, that that starts to
- 43:14become more of an issue. It can even get to a point where
- 43:16Clan is more and more of an issue to get together with.
- 43:19Like, I've got a grandparent who's in a nursing home right
- 43:22now. And I haven't been able to see
- 43:24her, like, six months because of how crank down, they have the
- 43:28protocols with nursing homes. So Hearth cult articles, the
- 43:32Sebastian, her cult is, you know, where it starts and where
- 43:36it ends because it all comes back to Hearth cultivar else in
- 43:43the world falls down around you. The Hearth is what you have, you
- 43:48know, our Amelia, you know, Amelia was jumping out doing
- 43:53some videos and some posts and stuff.
- 43:55We'll have to use the posts. And yeah, well, I jokingly
- 43:58throughout this hashtag in association with this essay that
- 44:01she put out that you know, Hearth is where the Heathen re
- 44:03is, and that that really kind of struck home for me when I did it
- 44:07as a joke at first, and then I was like, no, that's that's
- 44:12that's my thing. You know, Hearth is where the
- 44:15even RI is. And that's, that's the thing
- 44:19Hearth cult is so important because this is the time period
- 44:25where you can be focusing on learning and growing as an
- 44:27individual where you can focus on your home practice where you
- 44:30can focus on how you do your Rituals how you view the world
- 44:34and not get sucked up into the socialized element of, you know,
- 44:38fitting into a tribal dynamic or fitting into greater local
- 44:42Heathen Dynamic. You could focus on what you
- 44:44believe and what you think and what your research shows, and
- 44:48what, you know, your hall your call.
- 44:51You have to have a strong Hall to make your call.
- 44:55You need a strong Hearth, to be a meaningful member to a tribes.
- 45:03And if you do not have a strong Hearth cult, then what are you
- 45:07really bringing to that tribe? You know, you establish your
- 45:09work that home and then you take it to the outside world.
- 45:14So yeah, I absolutely 100% This is a time to focus on Hearth,
- 45:20strengthen your hearts and then when tried can get back together
- 45:23in full force, come, back stronger, not weaker.
- 45:27Yeah, and that's, that's really something.
- 45:29I think that could be exciting, right?
- 45:31Because we could see, We can see a real, you know, kind of like a
- 45:36nitrous blast of your frame coming out here soon eventually.
- 45:40When the key say, the tribal thinking really kick off in full
- 45:42force. Hopefully, at least because now
- 45:45it's been a time where you know, and it's not just focused on on
- 45:48your spirituality, right? Or you're but you're also no
- 45:51morals. I think too because one
- 45:53challenge that has come across from, from staying at home, more
- 45:59than normal, than normal is the people who we use to interact.
- 46:02With less because of our jobs. And I say folks who aren't like
- 46:09Eric. You've you still had your day to
- 46:11day job. I still work and what I work
- 46:13from home, so I've been home or in any interactions with the
- 46:16people who I had less time with before.
- 46:18Now. I have all my time with and
- 46:21that's changed, you know, like just personal space and dealing
- 46:25with, you know, your spouse or your loved ones.
- 46:28Whoever it may be just learning like relearning each other, and
- 46:31it's like, there's Much more than just the spirituality of it
- 46:35and being a better human, but just being bettering yourself as
- 46:39an individual as a person. It all hits.
- 46:41All you hit a point where it's like, you know, you're finally
- 46:46at home from all of this stuff and you look at the other person
- 46:50to go. Wow.
- 46:50I did not realize just how disconnected we've gotten here
- 46:53over the last little bit because if, you know, just stupidness
- 46:57with the outside world, but the mundane life and job and all
- 47:00this stuff sucking it away and it's like, We need to reconnect
- 47:04and it's an opportunity to do so.
- 47:08Yeah, hopefully you're not tearing each other's throats out
- 47:10in the process. Yeah, that's a thing that
- 47:14happens, you know, but yeah, I completely grab right there with
- 47:19you. It's a it's a.
- 47:25So, I think that you know, there's a lot of challenges that
- 47:29have come across with you know, Being is being hidden, right
- 47:34especially like, you know, he didn't focus on tribal societal
- 47:40structure, you know, if there's a lot of challenges that have
- 47:43come up nowadays with in this year, but there's also been a
- 47:49lot of opportunity as well, which is what we've kind of
- 47:53closed on right. Focus on ourselves to focus on
- 47:56our Hearth. Because when it, when, when
- 47:58anything else, where everything else falls apart?
- 48:02Earth is where we come back to you and hearth is where it's at,
- 48:05Hearth is where the Heathen re is, you know, which is a great
- 48:09hashtag but it's a great summation of it all and let's
- 48:14make that a thing folks. Get out there hashtag Hearth is
- 48:18where they either is. I'm definitely for that.
- 48:22We can Trend, you know, focus on your hearts focus on yourselves,
- 48:27and then you will only be better set up to.
- 48:31Go out and do that thing. If you are in an area, right,
- 48:33where will this is? Really?
- 48:35Nobody around? And I've I think we both Eric
- 48:38and I both have heard from people.
- 48:40Well, there's nothing in my area.
- 48:42Okay, first of all, how are you looking, how hard are you
- 48:44trying? And then if there really isn't,
- 48:47what's stopping you from putting something in your area?
- 48:51Because if you are looking for something in your area, then
- 48:53chances are. There's other people who are
- 48:54looking for something the same or similar, and they may be
- 48:58feeling the same way and you may be the one And I can give them
- 49:04something to find. So I think that it's I think
- 49:11that it's a lot of opportunity here that we all can learn from,
- 49:15you know, don't take advantage of the social media sites that
- 49:19give you a false sense of community, use them for the
- 49:23benefit of kind of doing that maintenance.
- 49:27Keeping that connection between your folk but Don't be afraid to
- 49:32get out there and you know, with with all your senses, you know,
- 49:37safely and such. No stay connected with you
- 49:39people and then ultimately keep that focus on your, on your
- 49:45clan, on your hearth. Anything else you wanted to
- 49:52edit? We've hit the most of it.
- 49:54I mean, what are they talking about?
- 49:58Some practical, just like some quick practical tips with
- 50:01regards to Ritual during social distancing time or if you wanted
- 50:04to cover that in different video, do it.
- 50:08Well, okay. Yeah, we keep because we keep
- 50:11dancing around the whole ensemble subject, you know.
- 50:14Oh, yeah, you know because like the way I see it.
- 50:18Look below. TC blow.
- 50:19It is easy with social distancing.
- 50:20You just spread out a little bit more in your Sacred Space.
- 50:23If you use a bloat taine for your offering, you can come up
- 50:28with ways for people to put offerings into a centralized
- 50:32location and not have to have the contact not have, you know,
- 50:39the, the close proximity. You can still do that with your
- 50:416-foot distancing, and all this. And then, of course, you can
- 50:45make your offering, you can gather your blessing in a bowl
- 50:47and Blow teen and sprinkle the people.
- 50:50There's no cross contamination going on there.
- 50:52You're not but not unless you're like sticking your hand in it
- 50:56and then laying hands on me as you do with that, weird.
- 50:59Yeah, blockchain is actually fairly socially distanced as far
- 51:04as the dissemination of blessing when I so as far as I'm
- 51:07concerned bloats a non-issue bloats easy to do and still
- 51:10maintain social distancing. You can still wear masks while
- 51:13you do it, if you feel that. Given the situation sambal, do
- 51:22some bizarre different bag. And I have had people ask me how
- 51:27to address sambal during a period of social distancing,
- 51:31especially with the main concern of cross-contamination.
- 51:35And this is, this is particularly dealing with the
- 51:39modern sambal, the modern Paradigm for sambal, where it is
- 51:42a shared horn, and three rounds, gods, and goddesses ancestors
- 51:47and toast. In boasts, its historical.
- 51:50Symbol is a little bit different than that.
- 51:52Especially you can just some of the more Anglo-Saxon for the way
- 51:58they go about things. There's their version of it
- 52:01doesn't require like, shared horn or anything like that.
- 52:05There are depending on your, your culture base.
- 52:09There are ways to go about doing the shared horn and still
- 52:14getting the symbolism of the well without necessarily
- 52:16everybody drinking from the same.
- 52:17Horn and obviously, you know, blowing any kind of protection
- 52:21cross-contamination protections. You may have taken.
- 52:23At that point. Largely, what we've always done.
- 52:28Like, especially if we have somebody in the group, you can't
- 52:30imbibing alcohol for any particular reason for the, be
- 52:33for health reasons or reasons or whatever.
- 52:39It may be. We've always permitted people to
- 52:43have their own horn for someone and then we'll call it tapping
- 52:46and tapping out. They will tap their horn or
- 52:50their mug, to the main horn that's going around to kind of
- 52:54transfer that energy and then to they'll drink from their own
- 52:58horn and they'll kind of tap back.
- 52:59The whole idea is that the words are what is going into the well
- 53:02and you are still symbolically engaging in that ritual with one
- 53:06another. So you're still sharing the
- 53:08weird. You're still, you're still a
- 53:13moment. I find it to be.
- 53:16I sometimes Times, they can be less palpable.
- 53:19But sometimes it's just as I ate depends on the scenario and how
- 53:22seriously people are taking it. But if you're not all drinking
- 53:26from the same horn, one of the things that you can do, as far
- 53:28as symbol goes, is everybody can have their own, their own mug.
- 53:31And as you go around and do the toasts and everything, you can
- 53:34actually fill that mug from the offerings of everyone around a
- 53:39little bit of their own drink, from their own mug, into the
- 53:41horn, given as an offering, you're literally putting your
- 53:44energies into that well, and then that horn just becomes A
- 53:48receptacle as he goes around, you still maintain those
- 53:53structure, you still maintain the sharing of frisbee sharing
- 53:57beard in this moment, the exchanging of luck.
- 54:00And then you use that, that offering maybe in the end and,
- 54:04you know, usually we gift it back to the land whites.
- 54:07When we're done, take it out to the local ritual spot that we
- 54:10have set up and then that's, that offering is made, but you
- 54:13can still in the same instance, you could, if you wanted to
- 54:17Disseminate some of that back out to the people.
- 54:19You can do the blockchain thing like you would do in bloat and
- 54:22still make sure everybody's connected to that.
- 54:25There are practical ways that you can approach this kind of
- 54:34ritual thing just because it's not necessarily how it's been
- 54:36done. Does it mean that mechanically
- 54:39it's not still serving a similar purpose because you are the
- 54:43whole thing. The whole thing about ritual is
- 54:45what works, you know, the why is important?
- 54:47Why do we do? Why do we do it this way?
- 54:48What are we trying to get out of it?
- 54:50What is the end mechanic that we're looking for?
- 54:52We're looking to gather a weird into the same place.
- 54:54Put our energies into the well and then share that amongst
- 54:58ourselves. So you can go around in the
- 55:00three rounds and load the well and then with the blow tane, you
- 55:03know around or at least have all shared into that well, which is
- 55:06the receptacle tribe. You're all pouring into the
- 55:09tribe and that you are adding your luck to the tribal luck.
- 55:16And then the tribal luck is going to disseminate our Alps
- 55:18from the seat of tribe luck to the rest of the tribe anyway, so
- 55:21there's not necessarily an absolute need to drink from a
- 55:24shared horn. You can go about a couple of
- 55:28different ways of circumventing that and still having some kind
- 55:31of ritual effectiveness. Yeah, I think the nuances like
- 55:37you're mentioning other be drinking from a shared horn, or
- 55:39whether it be, which is how we've done it.
- 55:42If you if you're more along like the Anglo-Saxon variety.
- 55:47Where it's I think it's a centralized horn or centralized
- 55:50receptacle and then everybody has their own individual things
- 55:56to drink from the or you do like what Eric saying.
- 55:58And, you know, which is a really neat suggestion.
- 56:00I think is to have each member. Pick their peace or give their
- 56:07notes, do their part of the symbol of ritual and then pour a
- 56:11portion of their thing into the weld.
- 56:14Like that's a really neat take on it.
- 56:16And I think it all the ultimately like, said mechanics
- 56:18of it, having really nuanced is maybe a little bit different.
- 56:22It's ultimately still accomplishing the same thing.
- 56:25Right? And essentially, it doesn't even
- 56:27have to be the central. Receptacle doesn't even
- 56:28necessarily have to be a horn. Well.
- 56:31Yeah, it could be a bowl. It could be a be a Great bolt.
- 56:34You can be. Yeah.
- 56:36Anything that will catch and gather symbolically becomes the
- 56:38well, and as long as you're maintaining that, I think you
- 56:42still have Effectiveness, I mean, it's something you have to
- 56:44experiment with dry and it's only through experimentation
- 56:47that we learned what works. And what doesn't because I think
- 56:51like you said, it's the, why is what it is.
- 56:53It's, why are you doing it? I'm doing it.
- 56:55Because that's how my great-great-great-great
- 56:59great-great-great-great. Whoever did it.
- 57:02Okay, but why are you doing it? you know, like where is where's
- 57:08your reason? Will, you know, what is the
- 57:09purpose behind it for you? And how is it working to
- 57:13maintain and build the luck? Which is what it's all about for
- 57:16tribe. I think that's really helpful.
- 57:21I think that that can be something for a lot of folks out
- 57:24here, may be wondering, what do I do now?
- 57:26Or how do we do it or not? Really sure what to do.
- 57:29Don't want to do anything bad, you know, that sort of thing of
- 57:31those questions that come up in a lot of our minds.
- 57:33This is think, I think it offers a lot of good.
- 57:36Suggestions are good place. The kind of mull it over in your
- 57:41head. Thanks for sharing.
- 57:50All right. What else is this?
- 57:53It is this is this cover it for us.
- 57:55I think I think we're pretty much hit most of the points.
- 57:58Yeah. Yeah, may I mean we've kind of
- 58:01run the gamut. I'm having to run through that
- 58:02list in my head of what we said. We were going to talk about it.
- 58:06Yeah. Based on the list that I got.
- 58:08It's that pretty much covers it. So I guess it really leaves
- 58:11nothing else to do than to ask everyone watching.
- 58:14Hear what you guys think and was this helpful and what do you
- 58:18able to find? Throughout, you know, this time
- 58:22of social distancing things that have helped you guys, maintain
- 58:27or start a tribe. Share it, share it.
- 58:31Share that with us down in the comments.
- 58:33And like I said before, be sure to subscribe.
- 58:37Follow, like, comment, all that kind of fun stuff to Eric's
- 58:42Channel and made Garden museums here.
- 58:45So Eric you need anything. I would, you want to add
- 58:47anything else before we Sign off.
- 58:50Now that I think we are good. I just want to thank you again
- 58:52for having me on the channel. I always have a blast when we do
- 58:55these things. And I know the audience responds
- 58:57really well to it. So guys, if you like what we
- 59:00were like seeing us do these kind of collaborative videos and
- 59:05these little you know, Heathen breakdown talk sessions.
- 59:09Let us know it in the comments and let Jesse know that you want
- 59:12to see more and more and more of this.
- 59:13And I will try and do some cross Channel stuff.
- 59:16As everybody anybody that follows my channel knows right
- 59:18now. I've got some stuff that's kind
- 59:19of The air at the moment that makes my my side a little
- 59:22uncertain. So I can't really do commit to
- 59:25collaborative stuff on my side right now, but that will change
- 59:29as things settle out. So I'm looking forward to
- 59:31getting some more stuff over on my side of the channel to.
- 59:33So but thank you guys for watching.
- 59:36Thank you guys for supporting both midgard musings and the
- 59:39Ravens call. You guys are the reason that we
- 59:44do what we do, you know, we could very well just turn inner
- 59:47and focus on our own tribes and do all of what is, you know,
- 59:50obviously, that's the most important thing to us as you can
- 59:53tell, from our talks on the channel.
- 59:55I mean, it's hard cult in our tribes are most important
- 59:58focuses, but there's still that little bit of us that wants to
- 1:00:01see you guys gain from this and grow and I want to see future
- 1:00:05heathens doing really rad stuff. And so that's why we do what we
- 1:00:09do. So give us the feedback, show
- 1:00:11the love. Hit like on Jesse's videos,
- 1:00:13share them around. Let people see it and don't be
- 1:00:17afraid to jump in there and ask questions and let us know your
- 1:00:23stories and stuff like that. So if you guys are interested, I
- 1:00:27do have a book out the socket of your internal season.
- 1:00:30It can be found on Amazon Kindle.
- 1:00:32It's a heathen story book, that covers some some Heathen values
- 1:00:36and whatnot and kind of a heathen fantasy world.
- 1:00:40It is very very family-centric. Very, very controls and you get
- 1:00:45spirits of trip to the vets here.
- 1:00:47Stuff like that. So give it a look-see if you're
- 1:00:49interested and show some love man.
- 1:00:52Give give likes and comments all over the place and subscribe.
- 1:00:57Come on, subscribe people. Yeah.
- 1:00:59All in Eric's information again is all down in the comments,
- 1:01:02including a link to his book, The Sago Bjorn Burleson.
- 1:01:05I have it. I love it.
- 1:01:06Eric. I don't think I've done the
- 1:01:10right thing and reviewed it. Amazon.
- 1:01:12So that'll be something I need to go do but it is a fun.
- 1:01:15Read you guys will like it and then like Eric said to anything
- 1:01:20that you want to see from us. We both have contact information
- 1:01:24in the description area of our videos.
- 1:01:26You have an idea something that you like to see us do shoot it
- 1:01:29our way. You're on Facebook.
- 1:01:32You can get into the word Weaver Productions, Facebook group, and
- 1:01:34I'm there. He's there, you know, throw an
- 1:01:37idea out for both of us or one of us.
- 1:01:39It's, it's always welcome. And we like to, we like to see
- 1:01:45that people are not just, you know, liking what we do but are
- 1:01:49also interactive enough to want to be a part of it in some sort
- 1:01:52of way. So you definitely thank you all
- 1:01:54for that and appreciate all your support.
- 1:01:57So that'll wrap this one up for today.
- 1:01:58Folks, again wasn't for you. We wouldn't be able to do what
- 1:02:02we do. So thank you all for your
- 1:02:04ongoing and constant support L. See you in the next video.
