No Man Left Behind Morale Booster, Pentagon Manual Wrecks the Left’s Talking Point & Temporary Protected Status Equals Permanent Consequences Week In Review · The 47 Morning Update with Ben Ferguson

• 0:01
Speaker 1: Welcome. It is Verdict with Ted Cruz. Wee can review
• 0:03
Speaker 1: Ben Ferguson with you. And here are the big stories
• 0:06
Speaker 1: that we talked about this week that you may have missed.
• 0:08
Speaker 1: First up, it was an incredible morale booster for the
• 0:12
Speaker 1: American military and their capabilities to rescue the two down
• 0:15
  Speaker 1: pilots in Iran.
• 0:17
Speaker 2: What went into all of it, we explain it.
• 0:19
Speaker 1: Second up, Democrats accused Donald Trump of war crimes if
• 0:24
Speaker 1: he does something they say he's not allowed to do.
• 0:27
  Speaker 2: We'll explain that.
• 0:28
Speaker 1: And finally, yet again, another illegal alien led into this
• 0:33
Speaker 1: country and the Biden administration commits a violent murder and
• 0:37
Speaker 1: will it ever stop? It's the weekend review and it
• 0:40
Speaker 1: starts right now. You know, several people that I talked
• 0:43
Speaker 1: to that are in the military over the last couple
• 0:45
Speaker 1: of days, they were really worried about the airman who
• 0:49
Speaker 1: has gone missing because they were like they knew what
• 0:51
Speaker 1: was going to happen to him. If he was caught
• 0:54
Speaker 1: by the IRGC, by these militias, he was a dead man,
• 0:58
Speaker 1: and they were going to do it in a horrific
• 1:00
Speaker 1: way and probably film it and put it out there
• 1:02
Speaker 1: as propaganda to the world. And that was what they
• 1:05
Speaker 1: were all concerned with. They also said to me and
• 1:08
Speaker 1: and text messages on Easter Sunday, I want you to understand,
• 1:12
Speaker 1: they said, the morale booster of seeing that you have
• 1:15
Speaker 1: a commander in chief who says, I do not care
• 1:19
  Speaker 1: what it costs.
• 1:21
  Speaker 3: I don't get it.
• 1:23
Speaker 1: Go get them, Go get them, and use everything, stop everything,
• 1:28
Speaker 1: and use everything to go get one man. And then
• 1:31
Speaker 1: we'll go back to what we're doing. But whatever it takes,
• 1:34
Speaker 1: there is nothing I'm going to say no to. And
• 1:36
Speaker 1: they said, they said to me, they said, been it's
• 1:38
Speaker 1: been a long time since men and women in uniform
• 1:42
Speaker 1: have felt that they have a commander in chief who
• 1:44
Speaker 1: truly has their back in this way. One of the
• 1:47
Speaker 1: things they said that was I also thought was very
• 1:49
Speaker 1: interesting and I'm going to look it up now.
• 1:51
Speaker 2: See you looked up saying earlier.
• 1:52
Speaker 1: But it was a quote and I want to quote
• 1:55
Speaker 1: this because it was so it was so important what
• 1:58
Speaker 1: this individual said. That's serving as he said, you know,
• 2:00
Speaker 1: go look at the comparison to Bill Quinton and what
• 2:04
Speaker 1: he did with American troops in Somalia. Yeah, he said,
• 2:07
Speaker 1: look at Barack Obama and what he did with Americans
• 2:09
Speaker 1: in Libya. Look at Joe Biden, who abandoned thirteen US
• 2:12
Speaker 1: soldiers in Afghanistan. Trump moved mountains to rescue one American
• 2:17
Speaker 1: in Iran, one American. And if you're an American soldier
• 2:20
Speaker 1: right now, how fired up for you to serve Donald
• 2:22
Speaker 1: Trump knowing he's genuinely got your back.
• 2:26
Speaker 3: Well, let me be clear, you're serving the United States,
• 2:28
Speaker 3: You're not serving Donald Trump. But agreat your commander in
• 2:32
Speaker 3: chief has you're back, and that's a powerful thing. And
• 2:36
Speaker 3: by the way, it's not just you and me saying that,
• 2:39
Speaker 3: it's also Barack Obama's former Secretary of Homeland Security. Listen
• 2:43
Speaker 3: to Jay Johnson talking about this incredible.
• 2:45
Speaker 4: Rescue, this operation for the first pilot, in this second pilot,
• 2:52
Speaker 4: it's a remarkable exercise demonstration of US military courage technology.
• 3:00
Speaker 4: I would encourage the President and the Secretary of Defense,
• 3:03
Speaker 4: consistent with operational security, share as much of that with
• 3:07
Speaker 4: the American public so that the American public can appreciate
• 3:10
Speaker 4: what goes into this kind of operation was more complicated
• 3:13
Speaker 4: than the bin laden operation. For example.
• 3:16
  Speaker 2: Wow, I'm not.
• 3:16
Speaker 1: Sure any of that saying something that's coming from Jay Johnson.
• 3:20
  Speaker 1: That's pretty incredible.
• 3:22
Speaker 3: Yeah, it is, and I want to drill down a
• 3:25
Speaker 3: little bit more on what this does for the fighting
• 3:28
Speaker 3: spirit and the morale of the entire military. And actually
• 3:32
Speaker 3: a different tweet but I thought very profound as well,
• 3:36
Speaker 3: from a fellow named John Conrad on X. Here's what
• 3:38
Speaker 3: he said, this is why Americans are the deadliest fighters
• 3:42
Speaker 3: on Earth. I met a priest yesterday who just got
• 3:44
Speaker 3: accepted to chaplain school in Newport. I asked him the
• 3:47
Speaker 3: obvious question, Marines or Navy Navy? He said, his face
• 3:52
Speaker 3: fell a little. He told me he could never be
• 3:55
Speaker 3: a marine because every marine is a rifleman, and as
• 3:57
Speaker 3: a priest, he can't carry a weapon. Hoping to get
• 4:00
Speaker 3: a sign to a marine unit. Anyway, all chaplains are
• 4:03
Speaker 3: Navy officers, so that's the only door in. I laughed,
• 4:06
Speaker 3: I feel a little bad about that. Then I explained
• 4:09
Speaker 3: to him what devil doc means. The Marine Corps doesn't
• 4:13
Speaker 3: have medics. They use Navy cormen. I told him, when
• 4:17
Speaker 3: you get out to the fleet, find a marine sergeant
• 4:20
Speaker 3: with a couple of purple hearts and tell him devil
• 4:23
Speaker 3: docks aren't real. Marines be prepared to duck. Marines are
• 4:30
Speaker 3: violently particular about who gets to wear their uniform. Navy
• 4:34
Speaker 3: cormen and Navy chaplains who have eaten dirt alongside them
• 4:38
Speaker 3: in combat qualify full stop. My dad was air Force,
• 4:43
Speaker 3: not even Navy. I remember going to VFW Hall's with
• 4:46
Speaker 3: him as a kid. Someone would ask him what service.
• 4:48
Speaker 3: He'd say Air Force. In the room would chuckle a little,
• 4:51
Speaker 3: and then they'd find out he was a medic and
• 4:53
Speaker 3: the air in the room changed something close to reverence.
• 4:58
Speaker 3: Dad hated being honored. He had one line he used
• 5:01
Speaker 3: to deflect it. I didn't do much savior praise for
• 5:05
Speaker 3: my cousin. The PJ that always broke the ice. Pjs
• 5:09
Speaker 3: are the Air Force special operators who go into hell
• 5:12
Speaker 3: to pull downed pilots out. They will take casualties and
• 5:17
Speaker 3: are prepared to die to rescue a single pilot or crewman.
• 5:22
Speaker 3: The math doesn't math out why would any combat force
• 5:26
Speaker 3: take multiple casualties to wreck rescue one Air Force jet jockey.
• 5:32
Speaker 3: What the padre is about to learn is that the
• 5:34
Speaker 3: military has a hierarchy that has nothing to do with
• 5:37
Speaker 3: rank and nothing to do with the service stitched on
• 5:40
Speaker 3: your chest. Have you deployed, have you seen combat in
• 5:45
Speaker 3: every firefight, there are men who move towards the guns
• 5:48
Speaker 3: and men who hang back. And when the guy at
• 5:50
Speaker 3: the tip of the spear is pinned down, bleeding with
• 5:53
Speaker 3: rounds cracking past his head, there is exactly one word,
• 5:57
Speaker 3: he screams into the radio medic. YEP, here's the catch,
• 6:03
Speaker 3: and it is the whole reason America fights the way
• 6:06
Speaker 3: America fights. That marine is willing to push forward into
• 6:10
Speaker 3: fire because he knows the core men is coming. He
• 6:15
Speaker 3: knows the Metavac birds will land in the hot LZ.
• 6:19
Speaker 3: He knows the devil doc will drag him out by
• 6:21
Speaker 3: his plate carrier if it comes to that, and if
• 6:24
Speaker 3: the medic can't help he has what Dad called injuries
• 6:28
Speaker 3: incompatible with life. He knows that chaplain will crawl on
• 6:34
Speaker 3: his belly to administer last rites and deliver him to Heaven.
• 6:40
Speaker 3: The f F fifteen pilot punching out over enemy territory knows
• 6:44
Speaker 3: the same thing. He knows the pjs will move Heaven
• 6:47
Speaker 3: and Earth to reach him and turn whatever is shooting
• 6:50
Speaker 3: at him into a smoking crater of hell on Earth
• 6:54
Speaker 3: on the way in. This is the quiet math underneath
• 6:59
Speaker 3: American violence. Our warriors are the fiercest on Earth, not
• 7:03
Speaker 3: because they're the more aggressive, not because they're better trained
• 7:06
Speaker 3: or better equipped, although though they are all of those things,
• 7:10
Speaker 3: they are the fiercest because they know in their bones
• 7:14
Speaker 3: that when they key the mic and call for help,
• 7:16
Speaker 3: help is coming in hot. Take that away, and you
• 7:20
Speaker 3: don't have the US military anymore, you have a security force.
• 7:24
Speaker 3: I thought that those two posts I thought were very insightful,
• 7:28
Speaker 3: and they sum up a truly extraordinary and unique aspect
• 7:36
Speaker 3: of the American military.
• 7:39
Speaker 1: And this brings us to the second part of the
• 7:40
Speaker 1: conversation that is important, and that is a new warning
• 7:44
Speaker 1: center coming from President Trump. If there's anything that I've
• 7:49
Speaker 1: learned from President Trump on the second term, there's two
• 7:52
Speaker 1: aspects of his foreign policy. One is FAFO and two
• 7:56
Speaker 1: is if you're an OWI of the United States of
• 7:58
Speaker 1: America and you don't stand with it, then his second
• 8:01
Speaker 1: foreign policy is, well, good luck to you, because we're
• 8:03
Speaker 1: not gonna we're not gonna keep funding and doing things
• 8:06
Speaker 1: like NATO. Are you in or whatever it may be,
• 8:08
Speaker 1: if you're taking advantage of us. He's calling that out
• 8:11
Speaker 1: as well. And the President has made it clear when
• 8:14
Speaker 1: he tells you there's a deadline for something he means it.
• 8:18
Speaker 1: There's a new deadline with it with Iran and Tehran
• 8:22
Speaker 1: and the leadership there, and let's talk about what his
• 8:24
Speaker 1: new threat is by Tuesday.
• 8:27
Speaker 3: Well, on Sunday, he sent out a truth Social that reads,
• 8:31
Speaker 3: Tuesday will be power plant Day and Bridge Day all
• 8:38
Speaker 3: wrapped up in one in Iran. There will be nothing
• 8:43
Speaker 3: like it. Oping open the effen straight, you crazy bastards,
• 8:50
Speaker 3: or you'll be living in hell. Just watch Praise Be
• 8:55
Speaker 3: to Allah President Donald J.
• 8:57
  Speaker 2: Trump.
• 8:58
Speaker 3: Now, I will say he did not abbreviatefing, but this
• 9:02
Speaker 3: is a PG rated podcast, so I did. I will
• 9:06
Speaker 3: say also that after he sent that truth Social, the
• 9:09
Speaker 3: Wall Street Journal article that I quoted at the beginning
• 9:12
Speaker 3: of this show quotes it. And for the first time
• 9:15
Speaker 3: I've ever seen the F bomb in the Wall Street Journal,
• 9:18
Speaker 3: they did it quoting the President of the United States.
• 9:21
Speaker 3: I'm not aware of any precedent of a president dropping
• 9:24
Speaker 3: the F bomb, But then again, I'm not aware of
• 9:26
Speaker 3: any president dropping the level of bombs that he is
• 9:29
Speaker 3: dropping in a concentrated focus that is having this kind
• 9:33
Speaker 3: of effect. And look, I think Tuesday night is a
• 9:38
Speaker 3: very serious deadline. The president wants the straight of horn
• 9:41
Speaker 3: moves open. And if you're an Iranian leader as batcrap
• 9:47
Speaker 3: crazy as those guys are, I don't think they think
• 9:50
Speaker 3: this is a bluff.
• 9:52
Speaker 1: Yeah, I would think not now they are crazy enough
• 9:55
Speaker 1: to just say go ahead and do it. And that
• 9:57
Speaker 1: may be how much they're holding on for dear life
• 10:00
Speaker 1: just to try to stave control. But I agree with you,
• 10:02
Speaker 1: I don't think they think he's bluffing at all.
• 10:05
Speaker 3: Well, and that's the challenge is that the Malas, I
• 10:10
Speaker 3: don't think care at all about their people. You know,
• 10:13
Speaker 3: we talked to before about comparing, say, the Nazi army
• 10:17
Speaker 3: to the Allies during World War Two, that Hitler was
• 10:19
Speaker 3: willing to send German soldiers in to die and just
• 10:22
Speaker 3: have a mode over. I think the same is true
• 10:26
Speaker 3: with the Malas. They're happy to have, not happy, but
• 10:29
Speaker 3: they're willing to have as many Iranians die as need be.
• 10:33
Speaker 3: They believe they're on a mission from God. This is
• 10:39
Speaker 3: it is theocratic and if thousands, look, they murdered the
• 10:44
Speaker 3: Ayatola just murdered about forty thousand Iranians who were rising
• 10:47
Speaker 3: up in protest, So thousands of Iranians dying doesn't bother
• 10:52
Speaker 3: them at all. Tens of thousands doesn't bother them at all.
• 10:55
Speaker 3: It may prove to be the case that hundreds of
• 10:57
Speaker 3: thousands or even millions of Iranians dying doesn't bother them.
• 11:01
Speaker 3: And so the question is, look, if the US military
• 11:05
Speaker 3: takes out the power plants and takes out the bridges,
• 11:08
Speaker 3: that kind of hard infrastructure that doesn't get rebuilt overnight,
• 11:13
Speaker 3: that has real and long lasting damage to the economy
• 11:19
Speaker 3: in Iran. It imposes enormous consequences on Iran. What I
• 11:24
Speaker 3: don't know is does a theocratic mulla who's chanting death
• 11:29
Speaker 3: to America care about inflicting massive misery on the Iranian
• 11:35
Speaker 3: people and devastating the Iranian economy. I guess we'll find
• 11:38
Speaker 3: out by Tuesday. I don't know the answer.
• 11:40
Speaker 1: You know what's interesting is I was asked this question
• 11:42
Speaker 1: over the weekend, and it's when I want to ask
• 11:44
Speaker 1: you center. It was someone to right, well, look, let's
• 11:47
Speaker 1: say we do this and we knock out their power plant.
• 11:50
Speaker 1: What good does that do is because then we're just
• 11:51
Speaker 1: going to have to help them rebuild it one day.
• 11:53
Speaker 1: My response was, what you don't understand is that may
• 11:57
Speaker 1: be what it is it takes for the people to
• 12:00
Speaker 1: really overthrow their government. It'll also have a devastating impact
• 12:03
Speaker 1: on their military in general. And it's another way, it's
• 12:07
Speaker 1: another way to fast track them losing control of their country.
• 12:10
Speaker 1: That's the reason why I think the President saying, all right, fine,
• 12:13
Speaker 1: you guys aren't budging, well, then we're going to go
• 12:15
Speaker 1: to the next step here, because I'm not backing down.
• 12:18
Speaker 3: Yeah, and and and look, the President in his nationwide
• 12:21
Speaker 3: address said he was going to bomb them back into
• 12:23
Speaker 3: the Stone Ages. What's one of the aspects of the
• 12:26
Speaker 3: Stone Ages not having electricity, not having power? Going back
• 12:29
Speaker 3: to to to lighting fires for light. You take out
• 12:33
Speaker 3: all their power plants and they have no electricity, which
• 12:36
Speaker 3: is amazing for an oil rich country like Iran. But
• 12:40
Speaker 3: you want to talk about grinding the economy to a halt,
• 12:43
Speaker 3: immediately grinding the military to a halt. Everything runs on
• 12:47
Speaker 3: electricity and and and so shutting down power and by
• 12:52
Speaker 3: the way, you take out the bridges, that means you know,
• 12:54
  Speaker 3: it's one of the things that I've learned. I didn't
• 12:56
Speaker 3: realize when I was a kid how much of military
• 12:59
Speaker 3: effectiveness is logistics. One of the incredible things our military
• 13:03
Speaker 3: is really good at is moving people in material, getting
• 13:07
Speaker 3: it in there, getting ammunition in there, getting food in there,
• 13:10
Speaker 3: getting fuel in there, moving it around, all of that. Logistically,
• 13:16
Speaker 3: we are extraordinarily we the military. That not you and me.
• 13:19
Speaker 3: You know, I'm a lawyer and you're even worser a podcasts,
• 13:22
Speaker 3: so we are not extraordinary logistically, But but the military is.
• 13:28
Speaker 3: Notice how I'm not a podcaster. Apparently you do this just.
• 13:30
Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, I was gonna say, you just just threw
• 13:32
Speaker 1: me under the bus, so that I'm pretty sure the
• 13:34
Speaker 1: name of the show is behind me there.
• 13:35
Speaker 2: But we just keep going, there, we go.
• 13:37
Speaker 3: Yeah, you know, pot meat kettle. But look, you take
• 13:43
Speaker 3: out the bridges and the ability to move, the military
• 13:45
Speaker 3: to move, but anyone else to move, you basically shut
• 13:48
Speaker 3: down commerce in the country. That puts enormous economic pressure
• 13:53
Speaker 3: on the country. Look, my hope is that the endgame
• 13:58
Speaker 3: on this is the people right up and say enough
• 14:01
Speaker 3: with these crazy malas. We want you out. And my
• 14:06
Speaker 3: objective has always been the President laid out his objective,
• 14:09
Speaker 3: which is to eliminate the Iranian military's ability to strike
• 14:12
Speaker 3: out and kill Americans or kill our allies. That's a
• 14:14
Speaker 3: very important objective. I think the objective should be to
• 14:18
Speaker 3: collapse this regime, to have Iran led by a government
• 14:23
Speaker 3: that is not a crazy islabist who wants to murder Americans.
• 14:27
Speaker 3: I don't care who it is, as long as they're
• 14:29
Speaker 3: not actively murdering Americans, if they're not murdering Americans, if
• 14:32
Speaker 3: they're not trying to murder Americans, I'm good with it. Now,
• 14:35
Speaker 3: the next step, if we've leveled all the power plants,
• 14:39
Speaker 3: you get a new government in the new government is
• 14:41
Speaker 3: going to have to rebuild the power plants. Now, I
• 14:44
Speaker 3: will note that there is one advantage for rebuilding, which
• 14:47
Speaker 3: is Iran has a crap ton of oil.
• 14:51
Speaker 2: Yeah, and so very quickly financially.
• 14:54
Speaker 3: There's a revenue stream. So you said, like people said
• 14:57
Speaker 3: to you, well, gosh, we're going to have to rebuild it.
• 14:59
Speaker 3: I promise you if Trump bombs it, the American taxpayers
• 15:03
Speaker 3: are not rebuilding it. That there is no scenario in
• 15:06
Speaker 3: which the endgame is Trump writing a check. Now, there
• 15:09
Speaker 3: may be a scenario depending on what happens where when
• 15:12
Speaker 3: you have a new government, if they're a friend and
• 15:13
Speaker 3: ally with America, you could see assistance on the construction
• 15:19
Speaker 3: that is paid for by Iranian oil revenues. It's possible
• 15:22
Speaker 3: that we help them build it back where they're paying
• 15:25
Speaker 3: for it. But I don't envision any universe in which
• 15:29
Speaker 3: America is paying for this, and I think anyone who
• 15:32
Speaker 3: knows Donald Trump knows that's right now.
• 15:35
Speaker 1: If you want to hear the rest of this conversation,
• 15:37
Speaker 1: you can go back and listen to the full podcast
• 15:39
Speaker 1: from earlier this week. Now onto story number two, let
• 15:44
Speaker 1: me ask you another question that's gotten a lot of
• 15:47
Speaker 1: fodder online, and I think it's an important one to answer.
• 15:51
Speaker 1: Democrats and the media really seem to be trying to
• 15:53
Speaker 1: figure out some way, even if there's success with this
• 15:56
Speaker 1: Iranian policy of Trump, that they can stick it to
• 15:59
Speaker 1: Donald Trum. And now, the new thing over the last
• 16:01
Speaker 1: twenty four to forty eight hour has been Donald Trump
• 16:04
Speaker 1: is advocating for committing war crimes by blowing up bridges
• 16:08
Speaker 1: potentially in Iran and power plants in Iran. Let's talk
• 16:12
Speaker 1: about the war crimes aspect of this and deal with
• 16:16
Speaker 1: what Americans need to know about this new line by
• 16:18
Speaker 1: the left, because they, I mean, they care more about
• 16:22
Speaker 1: Donald Trump being in trouble than actually taking out a
• 16:24
Speaker 1: murderer's regime in Iran.
• 16:26
Speaker 3: That's true, and I will say one of the sad things.
• 16:29
Speaker 3: It used to be the case for a long long
• 16:30
Speaker 3: time that that politics ended at the water's edge, in
• 16:34
Speaker 3: other words, that that Republicans and Democrats battle here at
• 16:38
Speaker 3: home over all sorts of issues, but when it comes
• 16:40
Speaker 3: to military conflict abroad, when it comes to defending America,
• 16:44
Speaker 3: that the two sides refrained from partisan attack. I got
• 16:48
Speaker 3: to say that is not the case anymore. The instant
• 16:51
Speaker 3: President Trump launched this attack, Democrats began savaging him. You know,
• 16:56
Speaker 3: we had a classified briefly short shortly after the beginning
• 16:59
Speaker 3: of the of this attack, where you had the Secretary
• 17:02
Speaker 3: of State, Secretary Defense, chairman of the Joint Chiefs, the
• 17:04
Speaker 3: head of the CIA, kind of all the top national
• 17:07
Speaker 3: security apparatus, and the Trump administration and all one hundred
• 17:13
Speaker 3: senators attended that and they were laying out what was happening.
• 17:16
Speaker 3: And look, I'm not going to say anything that was
• 17:19
Speaker 3: said by the briefers in the classified briefing, but I
• 17:21
Speaker 3: can tell you, other than John Fetterman, who has been
• 17:24
Speaker 3: very positive on what he said publicly about about the
• 17:28
Speaker 3: conflict with Iran, every single Democrat senator in the room
• 17:32
Speaker 3: was highly, highly skeptical was attacking what happened was opposing
• 17:36
Speaker 3: what happened was started on day one with we are
• 17:42
Speaker 3: against standing up to Iran, and I sat there and
• 17:46
Speaker 3: just kind of shook my head. I was saddened by that.
• 17:49
Speaker 3: And so one of their talking points when President Trump
• 17:52
Speaker 3: said he was going to take out power plants and bridges,
• 17:54
Speaker 3: and why did he say power plants and bridges. By
• 17:56
Speaker 3: the way, Look, the biggest thing to take out for
• 17:59
Speaker 3: Iran is there a production facility carg Island, which is
• 18:02
Speaker 3: the key to where they export virtually all they're oil from, yep,
• 18:06
Speaker 3: carg Island. If we really wanted to cripple Iran and
• 18:09
Speaker 3: put them into the Stone Age, we'd take out their
• 18:13
Speaker 3: their oil facilities. We'd bomb the hell out of carg Island,
• 18:16
Speaker 3: and Iran's economy would just be screwed for a decade.
• 18:21
  Speaker 2: Yeah, instantly.
• 18:22
Speaker 1: By the way, people need to understand that, Like, if
• 18:24
Speaker 1: you just wanted to decimate them economically, that is how
• 18:26
Speaker 1: you would do it, and it would not be that hard.
• 18:29
Speaker 3: So Trump very deliberately has not done that. The reason
• 18:33
Speaker 3: he said power plants and bridges is because they're critically
• 18:37
Speaker 3: important to the economy. You take out the power plants,
• 18:40
Speaker 3: the electricity turns off. The military is crippled, but also
• 18:43
Speaker 3: the economy is crippled. The basic all of banking, all
• 18:45
Speaker 3: of communication. Lights Literally at night, people start lighting candles
• 18:49
Speaker 3: because there's no longer the light switches don't work. And
• 18:53
Speaker 3: bridges are essential for transportation, both military and commercial transportation
• 18:59
Speaker 3: across the county. I think the reason he picked those
• 19:02
Speaker 3: two is their enormous lever points, and his hope is
• 19:07
Speaker 3: that it would cause the collapse of this regime, I believe.
• 19:11
Speaker 3: But also it means if there were a new government
• 19:14
Speaker 3: in Iran, the oil facilities would still be there, so
• 19:17
Speaker 3: they have the ability to generate billions in revenue pretty quickly,
• 19:21
Speaker 3: and that billions. If the United States military took out
• 19:25
Speaker 3: the power infrastructure, if you had billions in oil revenue
• 19:28
Speaker 3: coming in, you could rebuild. It wouldn't be immediate, but
• 19:32
Speaker 3: having the revenue stream makes rebuilding much more possible than
• 19:35
Speaker 3: if you take out the oil infrastructure. The revenue stream
• 19:39
Speaker 3: is much further down the road and it's much harder
• 19:42
Speaker 3: to turn around. I think that's why I picked it.
• 19:44
Speaker 3: But I will say we're getting a lot of pompous
• 19:47
Speaker 3: democrats and pompous news reporters, although I repeat myself on
• 19:52
Speaker 3: TV saying taking out civilian power plants is a war crime.
• 19:58
  Speaker 2: Yeah.
• 19:58
Speaker 3: Well, let me to you from the Pentagon's Law of
• 20:03
Speaker 3: War manuals. So the Pentagon has a manual on the
• 20:05
  Speaker 3: law of war.
• 20:06
Speaker 2: Here's what it says.
• 20:07
Speaker 3: Quote, electric power stations are generally recognized to be of
• 20:12
Speaker 3: sufficient importance to a state's capacity to meet its wartime
• 20:17
Speaker 3: needs of communication, transport, and industry, so as usually to
• 20:23
Speaker 3: qualify as military objectives during armed conflicts. And by the way,
• 20:30
Speaker 3: the broader section which I will read from you, this
• 20:33
Speaker 3: is in section five point six point eight point five
• 20:38
Speaker 3: examples of military objectives economic objects associated with military operations,
• 20:43
Speaker 3: and it says before what I just read, economic objects
• 20:47
Speaker 3: associated with military operations are with war supporting or war
• 20:50
Speaker 3: sustaining industries have been regarded as military objectives. That is
• 20:59
Speaker 3: incredibly inconvenient for all of the Trump haters in the
• 21:03
Speaker 3: Democrat Party or in the media who want to scream
• 21:06
Speaker 3: war crime, war crime, war crime, because there's no doubt
• 21:09
Speaker 3: the power generation is integral to the war fighting ability
• 21:13
Speaker 3: of Iran. And listen, I will say the fact that
• 21:17
Speaker 3: Pakistan stepped in it actually goes to what we said
• 21:21
Speaker 3: on Monday's podcast, which is Trump's threat with any ordinary
• 21:27
Speaker 3: and rational leader would be incredibly effective. If you actually
• 21:30
Speaker 3: had a leader that gave a damn about their people,
• 21:32
Speaker 3: that gave a damn about their economy, that threat would
• 21:35
Speaker 3: be Holy cow. We can't let that happen. The risk
• 21:38
Speaker 3: factor is the very real possibility that the I told
• 21:42
Speaker 3: in the Malas just don't care that they're willing to
• 21:45
Speaker 3: see that kind of devastation to their country. I will
• 21:48
Speaker 3: say Pakistan, Pakistan is I've long described Pakistan as a
• 21:55
Speaker 3: problematic Ally. They are an ally, but there are challenges
• 21:59
  Speaker 3: in Pakistan.
• 22:00
Speaker 1: Actually put Pakistan, it's a very diplomatic way of putting that.
• 22:03
Speaker 3: Yes, but you know what, they're an ally rather than
• 22:06
Speaker 3: a friend. But there are real challenges. We work with Pakistan.
• 22:08
Speaker 3: There are a lot of bad people or enemies of
• 22:10
Speaker 3: America that are within Pakistan, but we work with the
• 22:13
Speaker 3: government of Pakistan. And I think that the Prime Minister
• 22:17
Speaker 3: of Pakistan stepped up and said, hey, look, you guys
• 22:20
Speaker 3: in Iran, don't don't go down this road and end
• 22:24
Speaker 3: up crippling. Don't go back to the dark uges. And
• 22:28
Speaker 3: and this goes back to where where Pakistan may have
• 22:32
Speaker 3: some credibility with Iran. I don't know if Pakistan provided
• 22:35
Speaker 3: Iran something of an off rant that that's a good interpretation,
• 22:39
Speaker 3: or if Iran's just seizing on this to delay that's
• 22:42
Speaker 3: another interpretation that is possible. But I do think Pakistan
• 22:47
Speaker 3: stepping forward and saying let's have a two week cease
• 22:50
Speaker 3: fire is an example of a more normal country and
• 22:55
Speaker 3: a leader who presumably cares about his people at least
• 22:59
Speaker 3: to significant extent, stepping forward to Iran and saying, come on, guys,
• 23:04
Speaker 3: don't keep playing chicken. This doesn't end up well as before.
• 23:08
Speaker 1: If you want to hear the rest of this conversation
• 23:10
Speaker 1: on this topic, you can go back and dow the
• 23:12
Speaker 1: podcasts from earlier this week to hear the entire thing.
• 23:16
Speaker 1: I want to get back to the big story number
• 23:19
Speaker 1: three of the week you may have missed, Senator. We
• 23:21
Speaker 1: want to talk about another issue that it needs to
• 23:23
Speaker 1: be back on the radar screen for a lot of Americans,
• 23:28
Speaker 1: and that is the continual crimes are being committed by
• 23:32
Speaker 1: illegal immigrants that are in this country.
• 23:34
Speaker 2: The media continues to overlook this.
• 23:37
Speaker 1: They don't want you to know that it's happening, but
• 23:40
Speaker 1: It's another example of why the President needs to be
• 23:41
Speaker 1: fighting so hard against these sanctuary cities that are harboring
• 23:46
Speaker 1: many of these criminals that are as he would describe them,
• 23:48
  Speaker 1: really bad ombraves.
• 23:51
Speaker 3: Well, you may recall back in twenty twenty four the
• 23:53
Speaker 3: Republican National Convention, when I spoke and addressed the convention,
• 23:57
Speaker 3: my remarks were focused on this topic, and the theme
• 24:01
Speaker 3: of it was every damn day, every day, another American
• 24:07
Speaker 3: has raped, another American is assaulted, another American is murdered
• 24:11
Speaker 3: by a violent criminal, illegal alien that Joe Biden and
• 24:14
Speaker 3: the Democrats have released. And I walked through the tragic
• 24:17
Speaker 3: cases of Joscelyn Nungary, the beautiful twelve year old girl
• 24:21
Speaker 3: raped and murdered here in Houston. I walked through Lake
• 24:24
Speaker 3: and Riley, the horrific murder of the young nursing student
• 24:28
Speaker 3: in Georgia. I walked through Rachel Morin, the mom of five,
• 24:33
Speaker 3: raped and murdered outside of Washington, d C. It was
• 24:36
Speaker 3: happening over and over and over again. That was one
• 24:41
Speaker 3: of the big reasons that the voters came out in
• 24:43
Speaker 3: overwhelming numbers, re elected President Trump, elected a Republican House,
• 24:47
Speaker 3: elected a Republican Senate, and we've seen immediate results. We've
• 24:51
Speaker 3: seen illegal border crossings drop more than ninety nine percent.
• 24:56
Speaker 3: The problem is, we have four years of open borders
• 24:59
Speaker 3: that we have to un We have over twelve million
• 25:01
Speaker 3: illegal aliens that were allowed to flood into this country.
• 25:04
Speaker 3: And so just this week, the story broke that a
• 25:09
Speaker 3: gas station clerk, a mom in Fort Myers, Florida, was
• 25:13
Speaker 3: bludgeoned to death with a hammer. I mean, what a
• 25:17
Speaker 3: horrible way to go, beaten to death with a hammer.
• 25:20
Speaker 3: And who is it that committed this crime? A Haitian
• 25:24
Speaker 3: illegal alien who was caught and then released at the
• 25:28
Speaker 3: border by the Biden administration. In twenty twenty two, an
• 25:31
Speaker 3: immigration judge ordered him deported. Robert Joshim is his name,
• 25:38
Speaker 3: but the Biden administration shielded him from deportation by granting
• 25:44
Speaker 3: him temporary protected status. So, in other words, what this
• 25:49
Speaker 3: person did He took a hammer the parking lot of
• 25:52
Speaker 3: a gas station. He walks at her with full strengths,
• 25:56
Speaker 3: He beats her on the head with a hammer, she
• 25:58
Speaker 3: falls down, unconscious, and then he crushes her head with
• 26:02
Speaker 3: the hammer while she's unconscious six more times. Here's the
• 26:08
Speaker 3: statement of the Department Homeland Security put out quote, this
• 26:12
Speaker 3: illegal alien barbarically hit this woman in the head multiple
• 26:16
Speaker 3: times with a hammer. This heinous murderer was released into
• 26:21
Speaker 3: the country by the Bidad administration. Not only did the
• 26:25
Speaker 3: Bida administration release him into the country, but they gave
• 26:28
Speaker 3: him temporary protected status. Their reckless immigration policies cost this
• 26:36
Speaker 3: woman her life. This keeps happening over and over and
• 26:43
Speaker 3: over again. And what is amazing, Ben In spite of that,
• 26:50
Speaker 3: every Democrat in the Senate, when we have a vote,
• 26:52
Speaker 3: the Department I'm less Security is still shut down because
• 26:55
Speaker 3: they have decided they hate ICE so much, they hate
• 26:58
Speaker 3: border enforcement so much that it is the position of
• 27:01
Speaker 3: the Democrat Party they are opposed. They want to defund ICE,
• 27:05
Speaker 3: which is the organizations that is charged with finding this
• 27:10
Speaker 3: vicious criminal, arresting him and deporting him. They don't want
• 27:14
Speaker 3: him deported. They want this Haitian murderer in your community.
• 27:18
Speaker 3: They don't care if you happen to be the poor
• 27:22
Speaker 3: woman who's bludgeoned to death. Look, you know, Chris Murphy,
• 27:27
Speaker 3: the very liberal Democrat from Connecticut, was on TV, and
• 27:32
Speaker 3: you know there's an old line that a gaff is
• 27:34
Speaker 3: when a politician actually accidentally tells the truth he described.
• 27:38
Speaker 3: He said, the people we care about the most, meaning
• 27:43
Speaker 3: we meaning Democrats, are illegal immigrants. That is what their
• 27:47
Speaker 3: party is. And it's infuriating. It keeps happening over and
• 27:51
Speaker 3: over and over again.
• 27:53
Speaker 2: When you talk about it still being shut down.
• 27:55
Speaker 1: And this is I think one of the midterms are
• 27:57
Speaker 1: going to be a really important of you. This should
• 28:00
Speaker 1: be one of the important issues of the midterms that
• 28:02
Speaker 1: Republicans need to remind If Democrats get back in charge,
• 28:06
Speaker 1: they've made it queer. They will immediately open the borders
• 28:09
Speaker 1: wide up and they don't care who comes in.
• 28:12
Speaker 2: It's going to happen. Get ready for it.
• 28:13
Speaker 1: That is their form, that is their policy, and they
• 28:16
Speaker 1: will absolutely abolish ice if they can do it as well.
• 28:20
Speaker 3: And by the way, understand, the risk is not just
• 28:23
Speaker 3: the murderers. It's not just the child molesters and the
• 28:27
Speaker 3: rapist and the gang bangers. It is also a very
• 28:30
Speaker 3: real risk of terrorism. We have seen in the last
• 28:33
Speaker 3: month four acts of terrorism by radical Islamic terrorists. And
• 28:37
Speaker 3: here's a story that broke this week. I'm just going
• 28:39
Speaker 3: to read a tweet from Bill Belushian the fantastic reporter
• 28:43
  Speaker 3: at Fox.
• 28:44
Speaker 2: Here's what he said.
• 28:44
Speaker 3: New Border patrol caught and arrested four British nationals entering
• 28:49
Speaker 3: the US illegally in a remote part of Maine after
• 28:53
Speaker 3: crossing from Canada. Their names these are four British nationals.
• 29:00
Speaker 3: Ali Mohammad Ali Abdullah that's number one, Hamid Mohammed Nagi
• 29:07
Speaker 3: that's number two, Ibrahim ayub Khan that's number three, and
• 29:13
Speaker 3: Mohammed Sultan Salaih. And these are illegal immigrants that were
• 29:18
Speaker 3: sneaking into a remote wooded part of Maine. This is dangerous.
• 29:25
Speaker 3: Now you know what happened. Because President Trump is in
• 29:29
Speaker 3: office and Border Patrol's allowed to do their job. They
• 29:31
Speaker 3: were apprehended. They weren't just let in and they're apprehended.
• 29:36
Speaker 3: You know what, I guarantee you they will not be released.
• 29:38
Speaker 3: They won't be released into this country. If Joe Biden
• 29:40
Speaker 3: were president, those four people whose names I just released,
• 29:44
Speaker 3: they named that they'd be released and we might be
• 29:47
Speaker 3: reading about them in another week or two. That pattern
• 29:52
Speaker 3: has played out over and over and over again. And
• 29:56
Speaker 3: by the way, it's not just illegal immigran it is
• 30:02
Speaker 3: criminals across the board. It is criminals across the board,
• 30:08
Speaker 3: such as, for example, de Carlos Brown, who was this
• 30:15
Speaker 3: psychotic lunatic who murdered the beautiful Ukrainian woman in North Carolina.
• 30:24
Speaker 3: He was just ruled not competent to stand trial. And
• 30:30
Speaker 3: I don't doubt that the guy as crazy as a loon.
• 30:34
Speaker 3: But let's be clear, Democrats and Roy Cooper in particular,
• 30:39
Speaker 3: the Democrat governor released this psychopath murderer fourteen separate times fourteen.
• 30:49
Speaker 3: If you keep releasing violent criminals, and it actually helped
• 30:53
Speaker 3: me on this Ben play play devil's advocate for a minute.
• 30:57
Speaker 3: Try to get inside the mind of a Democrat. Why
• 31:00
Speaker 3: would they want to release violent criminals over and over again?
• 31:05
Speaker 1: Yeah, it doesn't make sense, and yet they continue to
• 31:07
Speaker 1: do it because for them, I really do think it's
• 31:09
Speaker 1: an issue of politics, right, they want to bring in
• 31:13
  Speaker 1: a new voters.
• 31:14
Speaker 2: It's the simplest way I can put it.
• 31:16
Speaker 3: Well, it's not just new voters. Yes, for the illegals.
• 31:19
Speaker 3: But you look at this to Carlos Brown, he was
• 31:20
Speaker 3: not an illegal immigrant. He was just a psychopathic lunatic American.
• 31:24
Speaker 3: But you know what Democrats also think, not only should
• 31:27
Speaker 3: he be released from jail, they think he ought to
• 31:29
Speaker 3: be a voter, He's perfectly fine to vote in US elections.
• 31:33
Speaker 3: And I guarantee you violent criminals vote overwhelmingly Democrat. And
• 31:38
Speaker 3: I guess that explains why the Democrats their priority is
• 31:41
Speaker 3: violent criminals and not American citizens.
• 31:44
Speaker 1: As always, thank you for listening to Verdict with Center
