  - Hello, I am Shauna, I am here with Olivia.
• 0:10
And this is your PCJ Pop.
• 0:13
So, Doomsday, I'm sorry, Avengers: Doomsday
• 0:18
for the uninitiated is coming out in December.
• 0:21
And Disney+ and a lot of bloggers and stuff
• 0:24
have released this list of movies.
• 0:25
It's like the Road to Doomsday.
• 0:28
And so, it's suggested movies and TV shows
• 0:30
that you should watch in order to catch up
• 0:32
or to really understand and absorb.
• 0:35
  - The universe.
• 0:36
  - Doomsday and all of its glory.
• 0:37
  - Okay.
• 0:38
  - Not to say, I think you should definitely watch Doomsday,
• 0:41
even though you probably aren't gonna watch the Road
• 0:43
  to Doomsday.
• 0:44
  - Okay.
• 0:45
  (laughing)
• 0:45
  - But I am watching them.
• 0:47
I am trying to go in order.
• 0:49
And so, so far, I have watched my Pops for this week,
• 0:53
which are gonna be X-Men from the year 2000
• 0:56
  and X2: X-Men United from 2003.
• 1:00
  - I know I'm doing two, but, you know,
• 1:03
I'm a rule breaker like that.
• 1:05
  (laughing)
• 1:06
  So, X-Men was from 2000.
• 1:10
It was directed by Brian Singer along with X2.
• 1:15
And these follow really the original cast
• 1:19
  of live action X-Men.
• 1:20
  Have you seen these movies?
• 1:21
  - Yeah, I've seen them.
• 1:22
  - Okay, good, good, good, good.
• 1:24
  - So Hugh Jackman is Wolverine.
• 1:26
It's the first time that we see him, Patrick Stewart's
• 1:29
Charles Xavier in McHellen as Magneto.
• 1:33
And it's really like their, I wouldn't say origin story
• 1:37
because we joined them and they're already, yeah.
• 1:40
At the school, the school's established,
• 1:42
but like, why it shows why Wolverine went to the school,
• 1:46
how he meets Rogue, their first adventures,
• 1:49
when we get kind of a taste of, you know,
• 1:51
Charles and Xavier, how they had that past friendship,
• 1:55
but now they're kind of frenemies,
• 1:56
but they still care so much about each other.
• 1:59
Rebecca Romaine as Mystique is just incredibly sexy
• 2:04
  and powerful in this movie.
• 2:06
She is gonna be in Doomsday.
• 2:08
  - Okay.
• 2:09
  - And they're giving her clothes,
• 2:10
which I am so excited about.
• 2:14
  - Really?
• 2:15
  - She's not naked like that in the comics.
• 2:17
  - Okay. - She's not naked in blue.
• 2:19
Like she has like a superhero suit.
• 2:22
  - Okay.
• 2:23
  - She just made her naked in blue
• 2:24
  'cause she had those hot.
• 2:25
  - She got that body.
• 2:26
  - But now she's old so they're giving her clothes.
• 2:29
  - I'm happy they're giving her clothes because
• 2:31
she's shunned at the hits all the way.
• 2:33
  - No one else just has to be naked.
• 2:35
  They're not making beast naked.
• 2:37
  He's blue.
• 2:37
  - He could wear a pants.
• 2:39
  - Maybe they should.
• 2:40
  - Women deserve clothing, God damn.
• 2:42
  - Everyone's naked.
• 2:43
  - What if everyone's naked, then do you change your stance?
• 2:45
  - Then that's the porn version.
• 2:46
And I like that one too.
• 2:47
  - We know you like that one.
• 2:48
  - And that's gonna be next week's pop.
• 2:50
  (laughing)
• 2:52
  - So I'm gonna pop the X-Men movies
• 2:57
from the early 2000s, especially if you are a Marvel fan
• 3:02
who plans on seeing Avengers Doomsday
• 3:04
because these characters are gonna show up
• 3:07
in Avengers Doomsday because it's gonna be
• 3:09
  a multiverse-ill-situation.
• 3:11
These characters are from 20th Century studios.
• 3:14
The other ones are Marvel, Marvel got them in Disney
• 3:18
  and they're all together now.
• 3:20
So they're all gonna have a big multiverse
• 3:22
  or gaggle of fun.
• 3:23
  - Love that.
• 3:24
  - So can you find them?
• 3:24
  - You can watch the X-Men and X2 movies
• 3:29
and X3: The Last Stand, if you know that's your story.
• 3:31
  - Throw it out.
• 3:32
  - Now we'll throw it out in there.
• 3:33
  On Disney+.
• 3:35
And that is gonna be your PCJ Pop.
• 3:37
