Cape Clear Island just unveiled its first public playground, Clós Spraoi an Róis Bhuí — the Yellow Rose Playground — drawing over sixty joyful kids on opening day. Led by the island co-operative Comharchumann Chléire Teo and championed by community leader Niamh Ní Dhrisceoil, the project took years of effort, including input from local children themselves.
