- 1:47Speaker 2: hit you with some music. We have other segments. We
- 1:52Speaker 2: have trivia questions and different things like that for the community,
- 1:57Speaker 2: and it's all built in to help you grow in
- 2:00Speaker 2: your faith with our Lord and savior Jesus Christ here
- 2:06Speaker 2: on the podcast. We believe that if we receive the
- 2:09Speaker 2: ungrafted word, it is able to save our souls. There
- 2:13Speaker 2: are not too many things in this world that can
- 2:16Speaker 2: promise you that. You can't go to the store and
- 2:20Speaker 2: buy a box of cereal and that cereal, that company
- 2:24Speaker 2: can promise that your soul will be saved. The only
- 2:28Speaker 2: way we get that promise is by grafting the word
- 2:33Speaker 2: of God. The Word of God promises us eternal life
- 2:37Speaker 2: if we obey it and trust It's talking to my
- 2:40Speaker 2: brother's own three just yesterday, and he said, you know what,
- 2:44Speaker 2: I appreciate the fact that we're not just studying the
- 2:50Speaker 2: word just get information just so that we could learn
- 2:52Speaker 2: it and know it and have information. No, he said
- 2:56Speaker 2: that we are getting this information. We are studying the
- 2:59Speaker 2: word so that we can live it, so that we
- 3:01Speaker 2: can apply it, so that it could change us and
- 3:05Speaker 2: transform us. And that is the only way for where
- 3:09Speaker 2: God will benefit us, because if we grapped it in
- 3:13Speaker 2: as if we allow it to change us and shape
- 3:17Speaker 2: our thoughts, our attitudes, our actions so that we can
- 3:21Speaker 2: look more like Jesus. Say, man, So that's what I'm
- 3:25Speaker 2: excited about. I'm excited about Romans chapter five. There is
- 3:29Speaker 2: so much treasure in these chapters. Man, I'm so thankful
- 3:35Speaker 2: for the Book of Romans. I'm looking at the Book
- 3:38Speaker 2: of Romans in a different way since we started this
- 3:43Speaker 2: podcast ready before. But I don't know, it just hits
- 3:46Speaker 2: differently now as I'm reading it now, I was sharing
- 3:51Speaker 2: my brother's own that It's making me fall in love
- 3:54Speaker 2: with God all over again. I mean, you just read
- 4:00Speaker 2: chapter four. How God did everything in his power to
- 4:04Speaker 2: justify us. He is the justifier of the ungodly. He
- 4:08Speaker 2: can justify ungodly and sinful people. He made it, He
- 4:12Speaker 2: made the provision. He went out of his way so
- 4:17Speaker 2: that he could justify us rightly. He couldn't just forgive
- 4:23Speaker 2: us in an unrighteous manner. No, he had to make
- 4:26Speaker 2: sure he had the legal grounds to forgive us and
- 4:29Speaker 2: to partner us. And he did that through the shed
- 4:35Speaker 2: blood of Jesus Christ. That's the price he had to
- 4:38Speaker 2: pay to give us. How can you not love him
- 4:43Speaker 2: even more for that? Not only that he imputed righteousness
- 4:49Speaker 2: to our account. He just deposited righteousness. We didn't even
- 4:55Speaker 2: have to work for it. We don't have to earn it.
- 4:57Speaker 2: We don't have to go through many trips. Religion is
- 5:00Speaker 2: like the cruelest joke of mankind because they put all
- 5:04Speaker 2: these works and trips on you in order for you
- 5:07Speaker 2: to get right with God. And that is the biggest
- 5:10Speaker 2: question on everyone's heart is how can we be right
- 5:12Speaker 2: with God?
- 5:13Speaker 3: God?
- 5:14Speaker 2: Mean it easy. Just have faith, just believe in the Gospel,
- 5:18Speaker 2: and I will impart it unto you man, that is amazing.
- 5:23Speaker 2: So now that we have been justified, we're gonna look
- 5:27Speaker 2: at the benefits of it. We're gonna look at how
- 5:31Speaker 2: we are supposed to respond to it, how the justification
- 5:37Speaker 2: is supposed to change our behavior. So let's go before
- 5:42Speaker 2: the Lord in prayer. Everie, Father, we thank you and
- 5:47Speaker 2: we love you. We thank you for justification. We thank
- 5:51Speaker 2: you that you have imputed righteousness to our accounts. We
- 5:55Speaker 2: don't deserve it, but it's by your grace and by
- 5:59Speaker 2: your love, and that you've provided the way to forgive us.
- 6:04Speaker 2: You've made it legal, you made it right, You've kept
- 6:08Speaker 2: you to your own integrity, and you made the way
- 6:12Speaker 2: for us. Thank you for you so love the world.
- 6:16Speaker 2: Thank you, and Lord, we love you back. Help us
- 6:20Speaker 2: to love you, help us to live for you help
- 6:23Speaker 2: us to bless your name on God. In response, help
- 6:26Speaker 2: us to fall in love with you even more and
- 6:28Speaker 2: more in Jesus' name and man and amen. All right,
- 6:37Speaker 2: and also we want to invite you to meet us
- 6:40Speaker 2: in the life Chat. We are alive every day at
- 6:44Speaker 2: eleven o'clock EM Pacific Standard time around here in the

- 7:30Speaker 2: you're listening from and what platform when you find this
- 7:35Speaker 2: podcast on. We are on iHeartRadio, we are on Spotify,
- 7:41Speaker 2: We're all over the place, but our community is on
- 7:45Speaker 2: the his Hot Radio app. All right, Hopefully you have
- 7:50Speaker 2: enough time to get your bibles, your highlighters, in your notepads,
- 7:54Speaker 2: because you're going to dive into some riches, some richness
- 7:58Speaker 2: of the Word of God. So we're gonna take the
- 8:02Speaker 2: first two chapter, the first two verses of chapter five,
- 8:07Speaker 2: and it says, therefore, having been justified by faith. Man,
- 8:12Speaker 2: that just rolls off the tongue. That just sweet, that's
- 8:17Speaker 2: just sweet to say that, you know what I mean,
- 8:20Speaker 2: It's just like a heet justified by faith. Thank you Lord.
- 8:28Speaker 2: We have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.
- 8:34Speaker 2: We're gonna talk about that peace in a few minutes,
- 8:38Speaker 2: through whom also we have access by faith into the
- 8:43Speaker 2: grace in which we stand, and we're gonna talk about
- 8:49Speaker 2: that grace in which we stand. Actually access, you got it.
- 8:53Speaker 2: That's an important word in this. We have access and
- 8:57Speaker 2: rejoice in hope of the glory of God. So rejoicing
- 9:04Speaker 2: there's hope does break this down. Now, our justification, if
- 9:16Speaker 2: you look at it, it's not a process. It's not
- 9:19Speaker 2: something that we're working towards. It's not something that we
- 9:23Speaker 2: hope that we can obtain if we do certain works,
- 9:27Speaker 2: if we're good enough, maybe we can be justified before God.
- 9:31Speaker 2: Maybe our good deeds can outweigh our bad deeds. Maybe
- 9:35Speaker 2: we gotta struggle, We gotta climb the mountain and slay
- 9:40Speaker 2: the dragon and get the five golden eggs and save
- 9:44Speaker 2: the princess. No, we don't have to do that. To
- 9:47Speaker 2: be justified. It is not a process. It is a
- 9:50Speaker 2: completed act. It is something that is all ready done. Hallelujah.
- 9:58Speaker 2: We gotta put a praise right there. God already justified us.
- 10:01Speaker 2: Come on, how can we not love Him for that?
- 10:06Speaker 2: We now have peace with God. Now this is not
- 10:11Speaker 2: a feeling of peace. It's not an emotional but an
- 10:18Speaker 2: objective fact that we are no longer at entity with God.
- 10:26Speaker 2: Right now, imagine this. The peace that we're talking about
- 10:32Speaker 2: is this. So let's say, if you're at war with
- 10:36Speaker 2: a powerful king and this king is able to wipe
- 10:41Speaker 2: you out with a clip with just with a snappers
- 10:45Speaker 2: of his finger, that's what it looks like. We're at war.
- 10:50Speaker 2: This world is literally at war with God. It's like
- 10:56Speaker 2: it blows your mind. But we're called into the throne
- 11:02Speaker 2: room of this powerful king and we're offered peace, and
- 11:07Speaker 2: so we can stop fighting this king and we can
- 11:13Speaker 2: have peace, We can rest, we can have joy in
- 11:18Speaker 2: his presence like we have no fear of retaliation, Like
- 11:23Speaker 2: we don't have to fear this King. We don't have
- 11:25Speaker 2: to fear judgment, we don't have to fear backlash or anything.
- 11:29Speaker 2: It's like we're at peace with this amazing King that
- 11:33Speaker 2: we were once at war with. That is what that
- 11:38Speaker 2: is talking about. Now, that is great, that is a blessing.
- 11:43Speaker 2: Now through Jesus Christ, we stand in grace. Now we
- 11:48Speaker 2: were alienated from all of these benefits, beloved, but now
- 11:53Speaker 2: since we've been justified, now we have access. That's what
- 11:57Speaker 2: I wanted to point out, is like, this grace is amazing,
- 12:02Speaker 2: and this grace is how we're going to relate unto God.
- 12:07Speaker 2: It's not by our works. We can't earn it. We
- 12:10Speaker 2: can't earn righteousness before God. It's not by our own merit.
- 12:14Speaker 2: We don't have the power. Remember in chapter three, we
- 12:18Speaker 2: look desperate before God. God said basically we were worthless
- 12:23Speaker 2: as a human race. This is his report on us.
- 12:31Speaker 2: Came out of his very lips, that we have all
- 12:34Speaker 2: become unprofitable before him. But now since he justified us,
- 12:40Speaker 2: we have access to this grace in a daily basis,
- 12:44Speaker 2: in the grace of God. You got to understand what
- 12:47Speaker 2: grace truly means. Grace gives us the power to deny
- 12:52Speaker 2: ungodliness and to deny our lustful hearts. Empowers us to
- 13:02Speaker 2: live for God so that we don't have to sin.
- 13:07Speaker 2: Ask God for his grace when we're tempted to sin,
- 13:09Speaker 2: we're tempted to go back to our old life. We're tempted.
- 13:13Speaker 2: We need to call upon the grace of God to
- 13:16Speaker 2: give us the power to overcome. Now, the enemy has
- 13:20Speaker 2: twisted it, and he has it to where people think,
- 13:25Speaker 2: because of God's grace, I can sin, I can't indulge
- 13:29Speaker 2: in the flesh, or God's grace will cover me. I
- 13:32Speaker 2: can go out and sin and God's grace will cover you,
- 13:35Speaker 2: and you can continue to sin. That is a lie
- 13:38Speaker 2: straight from the pit of hell, and beloved, I hope
- 13:43Speaker 2: that you're not caught up in that, because it's going
- 13:47Speaker 2: to be a horrible day if you go before God
- 13:50Speaker 2: thinking that this is the type of grace that was given.
- 13:56Speaker 4: No.
- 13:57Speaker 2: Grace does not give you a license to sin. Grace
- 14:01Speaker 2: gives you the power to turn from sin, and so
- 14:09Speaker 2: through grace we don't have to worry about falling in
- 14:12Speaker 2: and out of God's favor, which are human emotions. Right,
- 14:18Speaker 2: we feel we think, oh man, God is upset with me.
- 14:20Speaker 2: Now I messed up. I did this, I did that
- 14:24Speaker 2: or the other. But no, we don't fall in out
- 14:27Speaker 2: of God's favor, and we look forward to the glory
- 14:34Speaker 2: of God as a sure hope. We have an awesome
- 14:40Speaker 2: and amazing future ahead of us. We look to God
- 14:47Speaker 2: and his grace and his glory as our future hope.
- 14:55Speaker 2: Now that we are justified a man, all right, let's
- 14:59Speaker 2: take verse three all the way through five. And not
- 15:05Speaker 2: only that, but we also glory in tribulation, knowing that
- 15:11Speaker 2: the tribulation produces perseverance, and perseverance, character and character. Hope. Now,
- 15:20Speaker 2: hope does not disappoint because the love of God has
- 15:25Speaker 2: been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit
- 15:30Speaker 2: who was given to us. Amen, this is so rich,
- 15:36Speaker 2: Like this is like I found a treasure and the
- 15:39Speaker 2: Word of God is like this, Like we're richer than
- 15:43Speaker 2: Bill Gates man, Like, look at all the benefits we
- 15:48Speaker 2: have access to once we are justified. Amen. Now, trials
- 15:56Speaker 2: in our lives are not accidents. We go through trials,
- 16:01Speaker 2: we go through testing, we go through situations right in
- 16:06Speaker 2: circumstances in life. But God uses them to develop perseverance
- 16:12Speaker 2: that says are right here, and perseverance will build character,
- 16:19Speaker 2: which will strengthen our hope. Now, this hope is anchored
- 16:25Speaker 2: in God's love poured out into our hearts by his spirit.
- 16:32Speaker 2: If you're going through something hard, don't think it's proof
- 16:37Speaker 2: God's against you. Sometimes the trouble is nothing but training.
- 16:45Speaker 2: Let me repeat that again. Your trouble is training when
- 16:52Speaker 2: you're in God. Now, how can we glory in tribulation?
- 16:57Speaker 3: Like?
- 16:57Speaker 2: That's pretty interesting, right And I'm not saying I've gotten
- 17:01Speaker 2: to that point. I'm getting better and I'm definitely gonna
- 17:05Speaker 2: get better now after this episode. But how many of
- 17:08Speaker 2: us glory you know? Can say we're going through something
- 17:14Speaker 2: and we just glorify it, or we're just hopeful, or
- 17:17Speaker 2: we're just optimistic, and you know, it's sometimes we got
- 17:21Speaker 2: to work up to get there, especially if you're being
- 17:24Speaker 2: persecuted or you have a situation or circumstance you have
- 17:29Speaker 2: to face. But the way that we can do this,
- 17:34Speaker 2: it says it right here, is because the spirit has
- 17:38Speaker 2: the positive the love of God in our hearts. Remember
- 17:42Speaker 2: when we were fighting against God, when we were his enemy,
- 17:47Speaker 2: his love was not in us but now it is.
- 17:51Speaker 2: It's so anning that God loves us. We can trust
- 17:53Speaker 2: a God that's going to take care of the situation.
- 17:56Speaker 2: That's why we can glorify God in the midst of trouble.
- 18:02Speaker 2: We know that he fights our battles. Now he is involved,
- 18:05Speaker 2: now he has taken responsibility. And then once our faith
- 18:11Speaker 2: is strengthened, it's like our character is built. And my
- 18:16Speaker 2: personal testimony is I've had people, person after person, just
- 18:25Speaker 2: have it out for me. You know, some people, sometimes
- 18:29Speaker 2: your spirit will irritate their demons. You've been there before,
- 18:32Speaker 2: right If you haven't, then you will soon if you're
- 18:36Speaker 2: walking with the Lord, because the Bible says that those
- 18:39Speaker 2: who want to live right before God will suffer persecution.
- 18:45Speaker 2: And people will just irritate you. They don't know why
- 18:47Speaker 2: they're irritated with you. But I've had people come against
- 18:51Speaker 2: me one after another, and I'm just watching God wipe
- 18:56Speaker 2: them out, remove them out of my lives, out of
- 19:00Speaker 2: my life, I mean, remove them in certain situations and
- 19:03Speaker 2: they're gone. They try to get rid of me, but
- 19:06Speaker 2: they're the ones gone. And so you have this benefit
- 19:11Speaker 2: once you're justified, and that's why you can rejoice in tribulation.
- 19:19Speaker 2: And man, all right, let's go to six and eight,
- 19:26Speaker 2: six through eight, from when we were still without strength.
- 19:31Speaker 2: In due time, Christ died for the ungodly, for scarcely,
- 19:37Speaker 2: for a righteous man. Will one die? Yeah, perhaps we're
- 19:42Speaker 2: a good man. Someone would even dare to die. But
- 19:46Speaker 2: God demonstrated his own love towards us, and that while
- 19:51Speaker 2: we were still sinners, Christ died for us. Say, man,
- 19:58Speaker 2: now this is an amazing expellence ancient here. Now God
- 20:03Speaker 2: loved us enough to reconcile us while we were sinners.
- 20:07Speaker 2: How much more will he keep us now that we
- 20:13Speaker 2: have been justified, that we are his That now we
- 20:17Speaker 2: have been bumked with the price, we are now his children. Amen, Man,
- 20:23Speaker 2: I just got to praise through all through this chapter.
- 20:25Speaker 2: I just got to praise it. Now. Security in Christ
- 20:33Speaker 2: is not based by our performance, is anchored in His past, present,
- 20:42Speaker 2: and future work. Let me say that again. Our security
- 20:47Speaker 2: in Christ is not based on our performance. But the
- 20:53Speaker 2: better way I should say this is that it's based
- 20:56Speaker 2: on His presence. Remember, Jesus says that you must abide
- 21:00Speaker 2: in me. If you abide in me and I am
- 21:04Speaker 2: bide in you, you would be like a branch that
- 21:07Speaker 2: will not be cut off. Right, you will not whither
- 21:12Speaker 2: away or be thrown into the fire. Are you? Are? We?
- 21:15Speaker 2: Am I abiding in him? That is our hope of
- 21:23Speaker 2: future salvation, Amen, redemption. Now let's go through twelve in
- 21:32Speaker 2: twenty one. Therefore, just as though one man, sin entered
- 21:40Speaker 2: the world and death through sin, and thus death spread
- 21:46Speaker 2: to all men because all have sin. For until the law,
- 21:52Speaker 2: sin was in the world. But sin is not imputed.
- 21:57Speaker 2: There's our word again, imputed, there is no law. That's interesting.
- 22:04Speaker 2: Sin is not imputed when there is no law. That's
- 22:09Speaker 2: an interesting statement because it's by faith. We're not living
- 22:14Speaker 2: by the law, right, we're living by faith. The law
- 22:18Speaker 2: is canceled out. Nevertheless, death reigned from Adam to Moses,
- 22:25Speaker 2: even over those who had not sin, according to the
- 22:30Speaker 2: likeness of the transgression of Adam, who is a type
- 22:36Speaker 2: of him who was to come. Now, that's an interesting
- 22:41Speaker 2: statement right there. Basically, it's saying that we're born in sin.
- 22:46Speaker 2: We didn't sind the way sin did not come into
- 22:50Speaker 2: our lives the way it did with Adam. We did
- 22:52Speaker 2: not eat from the tree of the knowledge of good
- 22:55Speaker 2: and evil. No, now we are born in it because
- 22:59Speaker 2: the what Adam did now verse eighteen. But the free
- 23:04Speaker 2: gift is not like the offense. For if by one
- 23:09Speaker 2: man's offense many die, much more, the grace of God
- 23:14Speaker 2: and the gift, by the grace of the one man,
- 23:19Speaker 2: Christ Jesus, abounded to many. And the gift is not
- 23:26Speaker 2: like that which came through the one who sin. For
- 23:30Speaker 2: the judgment which came from the one offense resulted in condemnation,
- 23:37Speaker 2: but the freak gift which came from many offenses resulted
- 23:44Speaker 2: in justification. That's our key word again, For if by
- 23:48Speaker 2: the one man's offense, death reign through the one, much more,
- 23:55Speaker 2: those who receive abundance of grace and of the gift
- 24:00Speaker 2: of righteousness will reign in life through one Christ Jesus.
- 24:08Speaker 2: All right, let's keep going, and we're gonna break it down. Therefore, Therefore,
- 24:12Speaker 2: as though one man's offense, judgment came to all men,
- 24:17Speaker 2: resulting in condemnation, even so through one man's righteous act,
- 24:24Speaker 2: the free gift came to all men, resulting in justification
- 24:29Speaker 2: of life. For as by one man's disobedience many were
- 24:34Speaker 2: made sinners, so also by one man's obedience many who
- 24:39Speaker 2: will be made righteous. Amen, let's finish this out. Moreover,
- 24:46Speaker 2: the law entered that the offense might abound, but where
- 24:53Speaker 2: sin abound, grace abound much more so then, as sin
- 24:58Speaker 2: reign in death, even so grace might ring through righteousness
- 25:04Speaker 2: to eternal life through Jesus Christ, our Lord. Amen. And
- 25:10Speaker 2: notice it says grace might ring through righteousness. We need
- 25:16Speaker 2: the grace of God so that we can ring through
- 25:20Speaker 2: righteousness to eternal life. Grace, you gotta have the right
- 25:26Speaker 2: relationship with grace. Grace does not give you the okay,
- 25:31Speaker 2: the living life of sin. Grace will empower you to
- 25:35Speaker 2: reign in righteousness. Amen. All right, let's go ahead and
- 25:41Speaker 2: do the breakdown now, Adam, Sin brought death to all men,
- 25:47Speaker 2: to everyone, but Christ's obedience brings life to everyone. But
- 25:55Speaker 2: you have to receive him though. Yes, Grace is greater
- 26:01Speaker 2: than sin. Grace will conquer sin as bad and as
- 26:05Speaker 2: nasty and as powerful and the wicked as sin is.
- 26:08Speaker 2: Grace will counteract that, not to give us. I know,
- 26:13Speaker 2: I keep repeating myself, but there's a lot of people
- 26:16Speaker 2: that teach this that grace will give you the past
- 26:21Speaker 2: and okay to live a life of sin. No, that's
- 26:24Speaker 2: not what grace is for. That's the opposite of it.
- 26:27Speaker 2: Grace will give us the power to reign over the
- 26:30Speaker 2: sin in our lives. Now, I think this is interesting.
- 26:35Speaker 2: How when Adam sin, it brought death to all men,
- 26:40Speaker 2: and that basically happened automatically. But Christ's obedience brings life
- 26:48Speaker 2: to all. But it's not automatic. It's not like Adam sin.
- 26:54Speaker 2: Adam sin was like, you're born into wickedness. But the
- 27:00Speaker 2: righteous act of Christ, his obedience to God. You have
- 27:05Speaker 2: to receive that. You have to make a choice, you
- 27:09Speaker 2: have to put your faith in trust in Jesus. Then
- 27:13Speaker 2: you are born into righteousness. It's a born again experience.
- 27:19Speaker 2: And that's the difference. Now, this is why the Gospel
- 27:23Speaker 2: is not just about forgiveness. It's also about life. We
- 27:31Speaker 2: don't just escape death, We receive eternal life, abundant life
- 27:37Speaker 2: with Jesus Christ. God has always desired our fellowship. We
- 27:44Speaker 2: were created for his enjoyment. Have you ever considered that?
- 27:51Speaker 2: The Bible says it in different places that we were
- 27:54Speaker 2: created for His pleasure. Our very existence, the breadth of
- 28:03Speaker 2: our lungs exist, and the reason why we breathe on
- 28:10Speaker 2: a daily basis is so that God can receive pleasure
- 28:16Speaker 2: from our lives, and until we answer that call, we
- 28:21Speaker 2: will always live a life of misery because we were
- 28:25Speaker 2: not created to please ourselves. We are not created to
- 28:28Speaker 2: be selfish beings. You're not supposed to be a self
- 28:32Speaker 2: centered and selfish person, just making your own decisions and
- 28:37Speaker 2: doing what makes you feel good. And as we know,
- 28:40Speaker 2: if you've been on this earth for a while, you
- 28:42Speaker 2: know that that's a miserable end and you're starting to
- 28:48Speaker 2: see the emptiness of it. Maybe you study, went to college,
- 28:55Speaker 2: very educated, got the job of your dream, your dream
- 28:59Speaker 2: job be doing good, bought the house, you are taking
- 29:03Speaker 2: care of family, society. Well say that you are a
- 29:07Speaker 2: very successful man. You got the cars, you got the look,
- 29:11Speaker 2: But on the inside you are empty. On the inside,
- 29:16Speaker 2: you know there's something missing, you asking yourself, is there
- 29:19Speaker 2: more to life than this?
- 29:21Speaker 4: This does not.
- 29:23Speaker 2: Fulfill me the way I thought it was. Is because
- 29:27Speaker 2: you're not answering the purpose of your very existence. You
- 29:32Speaker 2: are not bringing pleasure to your creator, to your maker.
- 29:38Speaker 2: And then that's the only way our souls will be
- 29:41Speaker 2: satisfied is when we get back right with God. And
- 29:45Speaker 2: God has done all he can and all he will
- 29:51Speaker 2: do to justify us, to bring us back. He's supplied
- 29:56Speaker 2: his grace. He took care of the sin issue. Sin
- 30:00Speaker 2: is not even an issue, even as bad and as
- 30:03Speaker 2: horrible and as out of control it seems to be
- 30:07Speaker 2: in our world today. Sin is really not an issue
- 30:10Speaker 2: anymore because God took care of it on the Cross.
- 30:14Speaker 2: He took care of it. We could, as a human race,
- 30:19Speaker 2: eradicate all sin on this earth if we really understood justification.
- 30:27Speaker 2: That it's done. He has already justified us. We have
- 30:31Speaker 2: to receive it. But because we battle against Satan in
- 30:33Speaker 2: his army, Satan is the enforcer of sin. Satan wants
- 30:39Speaker 2: to make sure sin is out of control. He wants
- 30:41Speaker 2: to keep the world blind to this great gift that
- 30:45Speaker 2: God has given to us and makes sin seem like
- 30:49Speaker 2: it's so appealing, which sin is very destructive. Now the
- 30:53Speaker 2: Bible will say that sin is fun for a season,
- 30:57Speaker 2: but at the end of the season there is a
- 30:59Speaker 2: hefty payment to pay. The wages of sin is death,
- 31:03Speaker 2: that is hell, burning in hell for all eternity and destruction,
- 31:09Speaker 2: because what hell is is basically the absence of God.
- 31:14Speaker 2: The goodness of this life is only because of God.
- 31:19Speaker 2: You get rid of God, you get rid of his goodness.
- 31:22Speaker 2: So there's chaos, there's fear, there's torment. If you don't
- 31:27Speaker 2: want to be in God's presence, Now what makes you
- 31:29Speaker 2: think you'll be happy if you go to heaven. God
- 31:35Speaker 2: is saying that if you don't want me, I'm not
- 31:38Speaker 2: gonna force you to take me. But once we look
- 31:43Speaker 2: into this word, like look at everything that God has
- 31:46Speaker 2: done for us, you can't help but to fall in
- 31:48Speaker 2: love with Him and appreciate him even more. And I'm
- 31:52Speaker 2: gonna say one more thing, and then we're gonna go
- 31:53Speaker 2: to a music break. A lot of ministries in a
- 32:00Speaker 2: part of a few of them, and I understand them,
- 32:05Speaker 2: and I kind of get where they're coming from. But
- 32:08Speaker 2: a lot of ministries, a lot of pastors will preach
- 32:13Speaker 2: and they will emphasize what we need to do for God.
- 32:20Speaker 2: They always put the emphasis on the people on us
- 32:23Speaker 2: doing something for God. You need to do this for God.
- 32:26Speaker 2: You need to do that for God. You need to
- 32:28Speaker 2: be here for God. You need to be there for God.
- 32:31Speaker 2: You need to this, that and the other. Now I'm
- 32:34Speaker 2: not saying that there's anything drastically wrong with that, but
- 32:38Speaker 2: the priority is off. We need to look into the
- 32:44Speaker 2: Word of God and see what God has done for us.
- 32:48Speaker 2: We need to make a thorough study of what God
- 32:52Speaker 2: has done for us. Then once we get a full
- 32:56Speaker 2: understanding of everything that God has done for us, all
- 32:59Speaker 2: the benefits that we can access. Now that now that
- 33:04Speaker 2: we are justified, that we are born again of the spirit,
- 33:09Speaker 2: then and only then we can be effective for God
- 33:14Speaker 2: because now we have the strong and firm foundation. But
- 33:20Speaker 2: we can't be effective for God if we think we
- 33:22Speaker 2: got to do all this stuff, we got to do
- 33:24Speaker 2: all these works and all this all on us. Like, no,
- 33:27Speaker 2: let's just take a minute and just basking the fact
- 33:32Speaker 2: that God has done so much for us and still
- 33:36Speaker 2: doing for us and will do for us. And we
- 33:39Speaker 2: need to rely upon His grace, his power, and his
- 33:43Speaker 2: strength to accomplish anything that is worthwhile while we're on
- 33:48Speaker 2: this earth. All right, with that, Let's go to God
- 33:52Speaker 2: over money, biz over the hands up. I'll be right
- 33:57Speaker 2: back after this.
- 34:11Speaker 4: I know you're living in pain, wake up the beginning. It's
- 34:13Speaker 4: feeling the same in the midst of it. You sick
- 34:15Speaker 4: of it, but really sickness to get you willing to
- 34:17Speaker 4: pray different than him in the middle of what you're
- 34:18Speaker 4: dealing with, be willing to give it away. He's a
- 34:20Speaker 4: hillo with delivery. Visit him if you will get the
- 34:22Speaker 4: feeling the way being to take praise to the black eye. Yes,
- 34:24Speaker 4: yes do when it with hip hop, I guess I've
- 34:26Speaker 4: been up in a house like himfessed I'm the press,
- 34:28Speaker 4: but I'm right backed out like yes our I be
- 34:30Speaker 4: little husbik fee moment of silence. I just couldn't tell
- 34:33Speaker 4: you how many times I right when you die with
- 34:35Speaker 4: ship could everybody's inn man, it rains in it, forging
- 34:38Speaker 4: it's more than a fortunate tight sake, and die in
- 34:40Speaker 4: it or in the storm as a borious mite. Face
- 34:43Speaker 4: of the sword is on my waists of the glorious
- 34:45Speaker 4: and victorious Lord to get might praise, height, praise, halle Lajah,
- 34:49Speaker 4: glory hallelajah, ride a for the father word tomorrow. I'm
- 34:53Speaker 4: in sure my story. You just get glory, you more
- 34:56Speaker 4: than you for so Jesus paid it for me with the.
- 34:59Speaker 2: Gordon as a room your head, what the reason? Reason?
- 35:02Speaker 2: Know you've got the sun. Even if frain creeping nice.
- 35:06Speaker 4: Like this, I wish't chill for the inting neither way.
- 35:10Speaker 4: I know it's only for a season. Benually we gonna
- 35:12Speaker 4: be up. I may be down in a minute.
- 35:15Speaker 2: I bean up.
- 35:16Speaker 4: Don't if I hit the ground, bet I bounced them.
- 35:18Speaker 1: Be up.
- 35:20Speaker 2: Halleluja. You gotta do with pick me up? I know
- 35:23Speaker 2: how that sound.
- 35:23Speaker 4: Let him clown till light up?
- 35:25Speaker 3: So wait, and what's your We say to these things,
- 35:27Speaker 3: since we have such hope. The same goddess with the
- 35:29Speaker 3: red seed lifts of me, and he can do much
- 35:31Speaker 3: more if it's one thing next month. No, you would
- 35:33Speaker 3: meant to be set apart light from the dark right
- 35:35Speaker 3: from the start that's been sent Genesis one vote. Thought
- 35:37Speaker 3: you were good, might be hard, and we you mess
- 35:39Speaker 3: far the week. In fact we send against you, add
- 35:42Speaker 3: chest following the flex when your sun dotted. God the
- 35:45Speaker 3: keys of depth. Because he lives, we will live Lord.
- 35:47Speaker 3: And now I need a mess, and that sometimes we
- 35:50Speaker 3: up sometimes and seasons are up. I thought, Lee, we
- 35:52Speaker 3: forgot to move, because I've seen him enough, son, he
- 35:55Speaker 3: to show my supper proove now in Jesus we trust.
- 35:57Speaker 3: The only way to set your minds on the thing.
- 36:00Speaker 2: Up above is did you pick your head up?
- 36:02Speaker 1: What the reason reason?
- 36:03Speaker 2: I know You've got the sun? Even it frames creep
- 36:06Speaker 2: in nice like this.
- 36:07Speaker 4: I wish the storm chill for that. Ain't it neither way.
- 36:10Speaker 4: I know it's only for a season. Eventually we're gonna
- 36:13Speaker 4: be up, though. I maybe down in a minute. I
- 36:16Speaker 4: bean up if I hit the ground, bet I bounced them.
- 36:19Speaker 4: Be up, hallelujah. Gotta do it. Pick me up though,
- 36:23Speaker 4: I know how that sound. Let them come till I'm
- 36:25Speaker 4: up though, mm hmmm, h m hm.
- 36:37Speaker 2: Hmm, and I'm back. It's your boy missing his high.
- 36:56Speaker 2: Going through Romans chapter five, looking at what we have now.
- 37:02Speaker 2: Since we have been justified, we have access to the
- 37:06Speaker 2: grace of God. We have the power to live a
- 37:10Speaker 2: life of righteousness unto eternal life. God is making us
- 37:16Speaker 2: into his image, into his likeness. Amen, hallelujah. I need
- 37:22Speaker 2: to get this out. The whole world needs to others say, man,
- 37:26Speaker 2: turn off the news and turn on the Word of God.
- 37:30Speaker 2: Get some good news. Amen in your spirit. All right,
- 37:35Speaker 2: all right, now it's time for the accountability Partners segments.
- 37:40Speaker 2: This segment was put on my heart because there's a
- 37:44Speaker 2: lot of people, even in the church that are still
- 37:47Speaker 2: battling and struggling with sin. I know of people that
- 37:51Speaker 2: are struggling with the same sin they struggled with like
- 37:54Speaker 2: a year ago, and my heart went out to them,
- 37:58Speaker 2: not saying that I'm perfect. All have struggles too, but
- 38:03Speaker 2: iron sharpens iron. There's an element of discipleship that is
- 38:07Speaker 2: missing in the church today where we can go to
- 38:10Speaker 2: our brother and our sister, ask for prayer, confess our
- 38:14Speaker 2: false to one another so that we can pray for
- 38:16Speaker 2: one another and also get that accountability. Did you did
- 38:20Speaker 2: your Bible today? What did you read? Let's pray together,
- 38:24Speaker 2: Let's do this. Are you getting victory over sin? Did
- 38:29Speaker 2: you drink? Did you do drugs? Did you have sex
- 38:31Speaker 2: outside of marriage? All these things are there to protect us,
- 38:36Speaker 2: to help us to live a life of victory. Y'all
- 38:40Speaker 2: should have a mentor in our lives. We all should
- 38:43Speaker 2: have someone that can hold us accountable and naturally supposed
- 38:48Speaker 2: to come from our pastor, our leadership, or if not
- 38:52Speaker 2: your senior pastor, a pastor or a brother in the congregation,
- 38:58Speaker 2: or somebody who has some spirits understanding victories, somebody who
- 39:03Speaker 2: you can see the fruit of their life. Don't just
- 39:05Speaker 2: allow anyone to hold you accountable, you know what I mean,
- 39:08Speaker 2: Because there's some sinners out there. The Bible says that
- 39:12Speaker 2: the Pharisees cross land and sea to convert somebody and
- 39:16Speaker 2: make them twice the sun of Hell. So we don't
- 39:19Speaker 2: want someone to make us, well, hell even worse, you
- 39:22Speaker 2: know what I'm saying. So you got to stay in
- 39:25Speaker 2: your word and trust God pray about it. But yes,
- 39:29Speaker 2: accountability is an important part. And so if you go
- 39:32Speaker 2: to the app His Hot Radio, go to the top
- 39:35Speaker 2: left menu, drop down to podcasts, go to the his
- 39:39Speaker 2: Hoigh Radio podcast. There is a form that's called the
- 39:44Speaker 2: Accountability Partner. It's like a checklist. You can go through
- 39:48Speaker 2: it on a daily basis. I encourage you because it
- 39:51Speaker 2: kind of helps you at the end of the day
- 39:53Speaker 2: just say how that Just like a report card, it
- 39:56Speaker 2: kind of helps you see where you at spiritually and
- 39:58Speaker 2: and if you are struggling, and if you need to
- 40:01Speaker 2: reach out to us, fill it out and send it in.
- 40:04Speaker 2: Let us know you want us to contact you, and
- 40:07Speaker 2: we will either myself or someone on the team will
- 40:10Speaker 2: hit you up and pray with you and help you
- 40:14Speaker 2: with that. So that's what the Accountability Partner is. And
- 40:18Speaker 2: the challenge for today is practice standing in grace whether
- 40:24Speaker 2: you mess up or not. If you messed up, instead
- 40:27Speaker 2: of running from God. Run to God, thank him for
- 40:31Speaker 2: the peace that you have in Christ. Right, that's the
- 40:38Speaker 2: grace of God. Grace will give us the power to
- 40:42Speaker 2: overcome the sin, to be at peace with God, to
- 40:45Speaker 2: stop fighting him. So if you messed up or you
- 40:49Speaker 2: feel like you're struggling, go into his presence anyway, run
- 40:52Speaker 2: to God and watch what He will do for you. Amen.
- 40:57Speaker 2: And also some HH news. We are a monitored in
- 41:03Speaker 2: a reporting radio station. We want to take our genre
- 41:07Speaker 2: to the next level. We have our own charts. We

- 41:15Speaker 2: RT Gospel Music Charts. If you want to get up there,
- 41:20Speaker 2: become number one on the billboards and all that good stuff.
- 41:24Speaker 2: And what better way to witness to the world than
- 41:27Speaker 2: if we're putting our genre at the top of the charts,
- 41:30Speaker 2: say man. So in order to do that, we need

- 42:43Speaker 2: have a community shout out. Actually I have an amazing
- 42:48Speaker 2: community shout out. And this is this shows you the
- 42:53Speaker 2: fruit right here. This is actually the first time we're
- 42:56Speaker 2: gonna do this on the podcast since we've been doing it,
- 43:01Speaker 2: and you get it up here. We did it up here.
- 43:21Speaker 2: I'm looking through my emails because we just okay, we
- 43:26Speaker 2: just I just found it. Okay, community shout out. I've
- 43:31Speaker 2: been promoting our back to school event the past couple
- 43:36Speaker 2: of weeks. Now we've just passed this Saturday. We just
- 43:39Speaker 2: had the event. We passed out backpacks, we gave school supplies.
- 43:46Speaker 2: We did a concert and all right, so everyone is seen.

- 44:04Speaker 2: the things we got going. And we actually got a
- 44:10Speaker 2: response and so I want to read it live here
- 44:14Speaker 2: on the podcast. We got a response to the email
- 44:18Speaker 2: blast that went out and it says from Lorene Smith
- 44:24Speaker 2: wrote to us and said, thank you for having me
- 44:27Speaker 2: and my family. The testimony to this was we are
- 44:34Speaker 2: going to we were excuse me. The testimony to this
- 44:37Speaker 2: is that we were going to a different place. But
- 44:40Speaker 2: the Holy Spirit directed my family to this event that
- 44:44Speaker 2: you all were having, which was a blessing for me
- 44:48Speaker 2: and my family. It wasn't just something for the kids,
- 44:52Speaker 2: it was also something for me too as a parent.
- 44:56Speaker 2: I got information on that would help I got information
- 45:02Speaker 2: on that would help me and my family our life
- 45:07Speaker 2: a little better to make I'm trying to read how
- 45:10Speaker 2: she wrote it, Me and my family my life a
- 45:14Speaker 2: little better, I mean a little bit easier than we
- 45:18Speaker 2: were welcomed by the children, the teenagers and young adults
- 45:25Speaker 2: as well as the adults, and to feel good for
