What is going on, guys. Dando here with a very important message for
• 0:04
you or and to be honest, some pretty exciting news for us all here
• 0:06
at four finger Discount. Firstly, this show will now no longer be available
• 0:10
on our pod being website. We are now no longer hosted by Podbean because
• 0:14
we've fortunately been picked up by iHeartMedia for their Spreaker Prime network, which is
• 0:19
very exciting for us all. What does this mean? Well, if you
• 0:22
are simply subscribing to the show via an app like Spotify or Apple Podcasts or
• 0:26
podcast Addict, absolutely nothing is going to be changing for you, guys in
• 0:29
regards to how you access the show. However, if you listen to the
• 0:32
show via our podbeing website, four finger Discount dot podbean dot com, you'll
• 0:36
now have to find another way, whether it be subscribing to an app or
• 0:40
whatever, or going to four finger Discount dot com dot Au or just going
• 0:43
to the Spreaker Radio app. Our Podbeing page will remain online, however,
• 0:48
this will be the last show uploaded to that website. To the feed.
• 0:51
Also, the website is going to be there, It's going to be there
• 0:53
forever. However, there will now be no new content getting added to the
• 0:57
podbean website, So if you want to hear future episode of the show,
• 1:00
you'll have to go to whether the spreaker app or Spotify or four Finger Discount
• 1:03
dot com dot and source it that way. Now you may be sitting there
• 1:07
asking yourself why would they choose to move to spreaker Prime. Well, a
• 1:10
couple of reasons. Basically, it means that going forward you might hear an
• 1:14
automated AD here or there at the beginning of the show or at the usual
• 1:17
we'll be right back after these messages portion of the show. This will help
• 1:21
us generate that little bit of extra income to help cover the cost of producing
• 1:23
the twenty plus hours of content we provide here at four finger Discount for free
• 1:27
each and every month. Of course, if you do want to hear the
• 1:30
show early and ad free for just a couple of dollars per month, you
• 1:33
can support us on Patreon, where you will get access to the bonus pods
• 1:36
like tails, Futurama and our Facebook community and things like that. But I
• 1:38
understand money is very tight at the moment. Cost of living is through the
• 1:42
roof, so if you can't afford it, unfortunately, you just gonna have
• 1:45
to hear a couple of ads here and there, but just look at it
• 1:48
this way, those just sixty seconds of your time, you know, really
• 1:49
help support us and help us grow this network so that we can keep producing
• 1:53
more and more content for you each and every week. Remember podcasting, it's
• 1:57
my dream. We'll be doing it now for eight years. I love it,
• 2:00
and with this shift to Spreaker, I'm finally able to call it a
• 2:04
job. So I'm over the moon. I'm astatic. So I hope you
• 2:07
understand that. You know, you might hear a couple of ads in the
• 2:08
show going forward, but please remember it does help me grow this network,
• 2:12
and I truly, truly appreciate all of your support over the last eight years.
• 2:16
