Transcript
- Vanessa: I read one quote and hopped right on here. The desert teaches you more about water than the ocean ever could. That's my version of a mic drop. Wow. Wow. that's the intro today. That is the intro. The desert teaches you more about water than the ocean ever could. When we are without, we understand what it means to have. We understand abundance when we are in a moment of lack. Ooh my gosh. I think today's about to just be a channeled pure message because the way that just hit me is something very powerful. Today, Spirit is really calling me to speak about the hardship of life. I suppose. When we are in a time of struggle, or we're in a time of hardship, we understand that missing piece even more, and we want to hold it tighter and the desire for it. More than we would have if we had it. It's the moment of gratitude. Thank you, Spirit. Thank you, Spirit, for this message today. Because we need this right now in our lives. It's the moment of gratitude. We become enriched in the feeling that we are grateful. We are grateful for what we don't even know we have. When you are in the desert, You are thirsty. You are parched. You would do anything for a sip of water. And when you're in the ocean basking in it, laying peacefully amongst it, you're not thinking about wanting more. You're in it. But when you do not have is when you would be so grateful for even a part of it, even a piece of it. So how can we bring in the energy of abundance? It's standing in gratitude first. It's standing in gratitude that we have what we do. My name's Vanessa. This is the Mystic Within Podcast, a podcast designed for women reconnecting with their purpose, their power, and their intuition, one honest conversation at a time. Spirit is with me in this convo. The universe is standing next to me as I'm speaking because listen, I I just saw this and I had to hop on. So whether this is a long episode, short episode, we don't know yet. Whatever the universe wants to convey is what's going to be here. But the energy of gratitude is going to ground you in this life, is going to keep you present, and is actually the highest frequency that you can be in beyond love. When we can stand in a state of gratitude, in a state of that humble love and energy in this universe. We can stand presently. We can be here. We can understand that we are the grounding force and our situations are not going to sway us. When we can stand and understand that everything is happening for us, everything is happening in a way that it's meant to, we can greater appreciate the times where we are in hardship or we're in a state of struggle. Or we're in a place in our world or in our own environments, our own stories, where maybe we're not where we thought we'd be or where we think we should be. But if you can take that and you can stand in gratitude, thank you for allowing me to experience the lessons here. Thank you for allowing me to go through that so I can go forward in a more proactive way in a way towards my dreams in a way that makes me feel more aligned. That is powerful. That is something that cannot be broken. I was recently thinking about the difference between the soul and the spirit. And I had made a video on it. It's on my Instagram and TikTok. If you want to go check it out at I Am Mystic Within. But it's this vision I had About the soul and the spirit and how I believe them to be separate entities that work together. And I saw this vision, I had this message come through, this channeled message, where I see the soul as a pillar of pure golden light. And it flows right from you to the core of the earth to this world and the next. And it is the something, it is the power and energy that allows you to learn new knowledge and it adds to the story of your soul Whereas the spirit is a sparkly column of light that wraps right around the soul, and it is your essence. You can feel somebody's spirit. It is something that is so playful and fun and exciting to be a part of and engage with. And the spirit is the thing that cannot be broken. And As someone who's gone through many seasons of life with what felt like a broken spirit, and I can tell you firsthand that Your spirit is truly your fuel. Whereas the soul is the car, the spirit is the fuel. That's how I'm seeing it. I see it as the soul being something that is so strong and it's so ancient, whereas the spirit is fresh and new and wanting to experience life. So a broken spirit can be remade and it will be remade stronger. And if you feel that certain situations or life are ripping your spirit, I need you to fall into a state of gratitude. And hope. The desert teaches you more about water than the ocean ever could, and it is based in the gratitude of what we do not have, but what we desire. That's such a powerful quote to me. As soon as I read it, I had to come and share the message because we often ignore the desire to be grateful or we are not grateful when we feel that we are going through a state of lack. Again, we don't have the money. So we're not being grateful for abundance. we don't have the friends. So we're not being grateful for the community that we're a part of. And it's not meant to be a statement of you must be grateful no matter what goes on, but you must be grateful for whatever must go on. if we can come and see it from a bird's eye view, usually we would be able to see the full picture and understand that the hardships and the states of lack are. Parts of our story that must be expressed and must be experienced, and the lessons that come from that must be learned to move forward. If you knew you had to go through financial issues right now, so you could understand the value of money and be able to give more and be charitable in the future and hold your abundance better, would you not humbly take that on? I would. I understand that. I need to be grateful in those moments. Thank you, Spirit. Thank you, universe, for this experience because I know that there's a lesson here. I know there's a foundation being built here that's allowing me to hold whatever blessings I'll be getting in the future. And the reality is the blessing is the life that we're having now. It's not an end goal. That's kind of a forward-thinking kind of maybe egotistical thing I'm I'm feeling right now, or I'm saying right now. But The reality is it is a blessing and we should be grateful enough to take a breath right now. And that is the power of understanding that the desert teaches you more about water than the ocean ever could. When you're swimming, you know, no pun intended, swimming in wealth, you're not grateful or if you've come from wealth. Like you don't know anything less. It's only when you've been poor and come into wealth that you understand that wow, I'm grateful for the wealth, but I'm grateful for the times of hardship to understand that this is a blessing. Everything here was a blessing. This whole story is a blessing, and I'm grateful for that. I think it's easy to get frustrated in this world when things don't seem to go our way or what we feel should be our way. But the reality is, gratitude is something we can practice at all times. You know, if you don't have a meal on the table, you might have a roof over your head. And there is someone out here who does not have either. And you shall be grateful for that. And the person who doesn't have a roof over their head or food in their mouth has prayer in their heart or spirit on their side. The one thing that does bind us is gratitude. We don't even need to be necessarily basing gratitude in material things. I'm grateful to be here and to be able to share this message with everybody who is listening or who will listen. I'm grateful to have the gifts I have to connect deeper with everybody else in this world. I'm grateful that I have. a strong purpose here and I'm actively stepping into that every day. I'm grateful to be present right now and I'm grateful to be able to channel this message. Gratitude can come in ways that can uplift your spirit and it has nothing to do with the material. It has nothing to do with what will be or can be. It has everything to do with what is right now. That is what gratitude is about. Are you grateful that we're present and what is going on presently? And I think I even often forget about gratitude, but gratitude is the highest frequency. I think being grateful for the material is important when you have it, of course. But again, those things are frivolous. There could be a tornado right now that takes down my my home. Or you know Someone could lose their job. Someone could not be able to put food on the table. And yes, let's be grateful for what we have in this moment for sure. But feeling grateful in a foundation of something that cannot be broken or taken away, I am grateful for my spirit. I am grateful for my soul. I am grateful for my breath right now. Because it is a sign, all of them, a sign that I am alive and living and able to be here. And live for tomorrow. And that is so so deep. Gratitude is how we are coming back into our humanity and coming back into our communities when we can all be grateful for one of one another. Because that is also something we have. We are not alone here. We have even the word have, we are blessed. We are so. Incredibly lucky to share something in common and it's our humanity. And sometimes that's hard to see in this type of world where all we hear about is violence and harm. But there's so much love that's accessible to us. And as everyone can be more grateful and loving towards themselves and others, we are growing something much deeper than what we are hearing about. We're Creating something that is fully human. The desert teaches you more about water than the ocean ever could. I want you to know if you are in the desert right now, the water is coming. And it comes with you standing in faith. And I don't say faith in a religious sense because that's not how I identify faith. Faith and hope are the same. And what's got me through a lot of things is walking by faith and not by sight. If you know there's water at the end, there's water at the end, you know? But if you're staring out at the miles of sand, then yeah, it's kind of hard to think that. Be grateful that there's water at the end. Be grateful that your feet can walk and find it. And be grateful that the ocean is available to us when it is. There's power and so much humble energy in being grateful. It is so spiritual in nature. And I'm grateful that you are here listening to this. And this is kind of a different type of episode, but this was such a powerful message that I just had to share it. I had to come on here and spread the good word. This was a very Humble episode, I will say. But This is your sign. This is your sign to be grateful. Practice gratitude every day. Wake up with three things that you're grateful for. Or go to bed and list three things that you are grateful for throughout the day the day. Maybe it's that you caught the green light on the way to work, or you saw a butterfly fly through your office window. Or you had a really good coffee, or your water was extra cold this morning. Or maybe you just got up. You're grateful for that. And that is gratitude all the same. Maybe it's that you took a breath today. And that is something to be grateful for. Not everybody can say that, okay? Thank you so much for listening. I really love this message. I hope someone somewhere got something out of it, just like I have. this is my reminder to be more grateful for everything I have and the experiences I have and the love that is accessible to me at all times.
