- 0:04Speaker 1: Welcome back to Artists on Artists on Artists on Artists.
- 0:07Speaker 2: This week on the show, we have the cast and
- 0:08Speaker 2: creatives of a new action film, The Extraction Team.
- 0:13Speaker 3: Action movies have been the rage since today, all the
- 0:17Speaker 3: way back into the eighties, and what makes an action
- 0:21Speaker 3: film special? Well, today we sit down with the cast
- 0:23Speaker 3: and crew of the Extraction Team to figure out what
- 0:29Speaker 3: makes action so special.
- 0:31Speaker 4: This movie will hit theaters soon, but pull up Michael
- 0:34Speaker 4: Bay's IMDb.
- 0:38Speaker 1: Chick kick, what are that grenade? And let's listen in.
- 0:46Speaker 5: Wow.
- 0:47Speaker 3: Unbelievable that we're all, I guess, in the same place again.
- 0:51Speaker 6: It's really good to be back in the same place.
- 0:53Speaker 7: With you guys.
- 0:55Speaker 1: Place here we are. I can't believe if the world's
- 1:00Speaker 1: about to see it, I can't believe it.
- 1:02Speaker 5: I've been working on these for fourteen years. We've all
- 1:05Speaker 5: been working on this for so long.
- 1:07Speaker 8: Yeah, yeah, that's right, hey, and I mean our intrepid director.
- 1:11Speaker 6: We couldn't have done it without you.
- 1:14Speaker 5: Could not have because I'm the one with all the connections.
- 1:18Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:20Speaker 7: When the press release came out and everybody said, Igor Stravin,
- 1:26Speaker 7: the guy who only plays Russian villains and movies is
- 1:29Speaker 7: going to direct an action movie. Yes, they laughed at you.
- 1:35Speaker 9: Everyone always laugh set to me all the time. They think, oh,
- 1:39Speaker 9: You're about to tell me something awful, and I'm actually.
- 1:42Speaker 5: Just telling you I have a good idea and I
- 1:45Speaker 5: think it's going to work.
- 1:48Speaker 6: It was a really tough set.
- 1:49Speaker 8: I thought it was a It was a tough set,
- 1:51Speaker 8: but I thought we got through it.
- 1:53Speaker 4: Really well because every note I would say feels like
- 1:55Speaker 4: a hostage situation, like I am doing a thousand calculations,
- 2:00Speaker 4: is in my mind trying to figure out if I'm
- 2:01Speaker 4: in danger or not.
- 2:02Speaker 1: It turns out I was doing a good job.
- 2:04Speaker 9: We had a lot of people leave said because I
- 2:06Speaker 9: used to say, hey, cameraman, punch in please.
- 2:11Speaker 3: And it was so intense because you really he kind
- 2:13Speaker 3: of was like yes. You were like, oh my god,
- 2:15Speaker 3: he's gonna shoot me.
- 2:16Speaker 6: Well, the camera would already be.
- 2:17Speaker 8: Like, so what do you think the extreme close ups
- 2:21Speaker 8: in the movie were trying to say the extreme extreme closees.
- 2:24Speaker 9: Well, the eyes are the window to the soul and
- 2:26Speaker 9: the pupil are the window to the eye, So you
- 2:29Speaker 9: gotta get in the middle.
- 2:31Speaker 6: So there's gonna be shots where you see only black pid.
- 2:33Speaker 1: Yes, God, I love the first time directly.
- 2:37Speaker 5: But that could have done it with all of you.
- 2:40Speaker 5: So we have to go around around and introduce ourselves.
- 2:43Speaker 5: I mean, we have to start with number one in nicoid.
- 2:46Speaker 7: On the first thing I said when I said in
- 2:50Speaker 7: my contract is is there a way to get a
- 2:52Speaker 7: call sheet where all the names are next to each other?
- 2:55Speaker 7: And I said, no, not hire our chorus. Okay, number
- 2:58Speaker 7: one and my name is for the credits.
- 3:00Speaker 2: And before everyone else, you did try it once and
- 3:03Speaker 2: you had on the el and I for you to
- 3:05Speaker 2: scroll through to the song.
- 3:06Speaker 4: Day you had to print out sixty pages of horizontal
- 3:09Speaker 4: call sheet in a row to be able to read
- 3:11Speaker 4: what we were.
- 3:12Speaker 5: One Excel row. And it was a really.
- 3:15Speaker 3: Still confusing because everybody was number one, so you didn't
- 3:19Speaker 3: know what scene you were showing up to shoot.
- 3:21Speaker 5: So we need number one one.
- 3:22Speaker 4: Number one just kind of get a cast party because
- 3:25Speaker 4: everyone came.
- 3:26Speaker 7: Yeah, and we learned that day when communism doesn't work.
- 3:32Speaker 7: It was an important lesson to everybody on set. I
- 3:34Speaker 7: remember at lunch was kind of like, this is political.
- 3:37Speaker 7: It's not just you know, confusing, it's political, and.
- 3:40Speaker 5: We got into it because I think it worked in
- 3:42Speaker 5: many ways.
- 3:43Speaker 7: Is a kid.
- 3:43Speaker 2: It's also that it's awesome that you also put the
- 3:45Speaker 2: pas on the call sheet in front of you.
- 3:47Speaker 1: Uh huh, you're the first actor on there.
- 3:49Speaker 7: Yes, also very confusing. Some pas were showing up to
- 3:52Speaker 7: set to be in the scenes, yes, based on what
- 3:55Speaker 7: they were reading. And I was coming really early in
- 3:57Speaker 7: the morning.
- 4:01Speaker 4: You were carrying in so many things during the load,
- 4:04Speaker 4: and it was really helpful.
- 4:05Speaker 7: Yeah, go ahead.
- 4:08Speaker 8: It really helped me that all the pas had makeup
- 4:10Speaker 8: on and looked so good, because normally they're just kind
- 4:12Speaker 8: of tires.
- 4:16Speaker 9: But it was on me to dress them back down
- 4:18Speaker 9: to get them back into PA they were.
- 4:22Speaker 7: They became very confident because the only thing separating actors
- 4:26Speaker 7: from everybody else on set is makeup and how good
- 4:29Speaker 7: we look anyway, I forget.
- 4:36Speaker 5: I love hearing you say your name.
- 4:37Speaker 7: Could you just tin Alan?
- 4:40Speaker 5: Uh?
- 4:45Speaker 7: You know, I don't, I don't. I feel embarrassed saying this,
- 4:50Speaker 7: but I need no introduction in America's greatest action star.
- 4:55Speaker 7: But happy to work with all of the uh crepid intrepid.
- 5:03Speaker 5: Thanks for that, Thank you so much.
- 5:05Speaker 8: My name is Billy Jason, of course, a supporting, supporting
- 5:09Speaker 8: buddy in the movie.
- 5:10Speaker 5: You know, so funny as the nerd.
- 5:13Speaker 2: Thank you buddy on camera, Buddy off camera, you are buddy,
- 5:17Speaker 2: Yeah yeah, yeah.
- 5:18Speaker 6: Yeah yeah.
- 5:19Speaker 8: I've never booked a leading role. They said I'm just
- 5:21Speaker 8: not right for it. I'm not sure, but.
- 5:22Speaker 5: Just so fun to have around, like two out of
- 5:24Speaker 5: five days a week.
- 5:25Speaker 6: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 5:28Speaker 1: We love seeing you sometimes.
- 5:29Speaker 6: Oh yeah, I love being seen sometimes. Yeah.
- 5:32Speaker 8: It was interesting how there was different rules for most
- 5:35Speaker 8: people on set than there was for me. But I
- 5:38Speaker 8: thought that did give me structure and I needed that that's.
- 5:41Speaker 3: In And I just thought your role was so funny,
- 5:45Speaker 3: like you play the best data person like I think
- 5:49Speaker 3: I've ever seen in one of these actions.
- 5:51Speaker 6: I gotta give it up to Seth Green. I gotta
- 5:53Speaker 6: give it up to Seth Green. The original Mapster.
- 5:56Speaker 8: Yes, absolutely, anybody who's seen that one movie where he
- 5:59Speaker 8: plays the who invented Napster.
- 6:01Speaker 6: He's the he's the proticulator Italian job.
- 6:06Speaker 7: Of the State, the original.
- 6:09Speaker 2: Naps It's just so funny when you're in the car,
- 6:13Speaker 2: you're in like one of the getaway cars and you're
- 6:15Speaker 2: and you're trying to track down the villain and you
- 6:17Speaker 2: fart in the car improv.
- 6:20Speaker 3: It was Yeah, I did some grownling and I freaking
- 6:25Speaker 3: love like, I love your catchphrase, Like can you give
- 6:28Speaker 3: it to us again?
- 6:28Speaker 5: It's like, how am I gonna get that done?
- 6:32Speaker 6: How am I gonna get that done? So good?
- 6:36Speaker 4: When you added the cross eyed I remember that day.
- 6:39Speaker 4: It was like it was like a hush fell over
- 6:42Speaker 4: the room.
- 6:43Speaker 9: We told you this movie is not funny. Nothing, nothing
- 6:47Speaker 9: else is literally funny.
- 6:49Speaker 7: In this Yeah.
- 6:50Speaker 6: No.
- 6:50Speaker 4: And I saw the first draft of the script that
- 6:53Speaker 4: was being sent around and they just had your lines.
- 6:55Speaker 4: They haven't figured it out yet, so we would just
- 6:57Speaker 4: say something funny, something funny, something funny.
- 7:00Speaker 1: I appreciate it.
- 7:01Speaker 6: Yeah, you guys got it.
- 7:02Speaker 8: I got me out of there pretty quick, said great job,
- 7:04Speaker 8: laughed at me, and then I was gone.
- 7:05Speaker 7: We didn't really meet until in Passing at the Air Alternate, Well,
- 7:10Speaker 7: your fart smelled. So I don't want to at the
- 7:14Speaker 7: A d R sessions because almost everything you do is
- 7:18Speaker 7: just you alone in a van or in a computer room.
- 7:21Speaker 7: It's just cutting to you on a mic, to my
- 7:23Speaker 7: character or the other characters just being flu mixed and funny.
- 7:27Speaker 8: Some people are saying, there's a whole version of the
- 7:29Speaker 8: movie without my character. That's completely different.
- 7:33Speaker 6: That would be the.
- 7:33Speaker 7: First version we shot before the audience has said, this
- 7:36Speaker 7: is so so, so dramatic, and there's no levity at all.
- 7:42Speaker 8: I think nobody got extracted right, accidentally, nobody got extracted
- 7:46Speaker 8: in the first The.
- 7:47Speaker 1: Whole point is you're supposed to extract.
- 7:49Speaker 5: Yeah, that was my bad.
- 7:53Speaker 9: That's a good direct good that I said, will we
- 7:55Speaker 9: could change the names and said, nobody came from the name.
- 7:59Speaker 5: Yeah, to put extraction in.
- 8:00Speaker 1: It's crazy. It's the easiest pickup ever.
- 8:03Speaker 2: You're just in all these little spots that they just
- 8:05Speaker 2: did a couple of months later.
- 8:06Speaker 9: It's amazing how many corners are in every building. So
- 8:09Speaker 9: if you want to cut to a corner, it's easy
- 8:12Speaker 9: to even build a corner.
- 8:14Speaker 5: Thank you, Okay, thank you.
- 8:16Speaker 7: That was I remember, because I'll have my notifications on
- 8:19Speaker 7: and I remember getting a three am email that was
- 8:22Speaker 7: there was just the alarm emoj and I opened it
- 8:25Speaker 7: and it was from our intrepid director and it said
- 8:27Speaker 7: it's easy to build a corner. I feel like we
- 8:31Speaker 7: could have talked about this in person, but it seems
- 8:33Speaker 7: like you really felt the light bulb was shut up
- 8:36Speaker 7: in bed.
- 8:39Speaker 6: Oh my god, this illusion is in the room.
- 8:42Speaker 9: With us a corner, the man standing in the corner,
- 8:47Speaker 9: the one we haven't shot, the one where the camera was.
- 8:51Speaker 1: The corner is coming from inside the room.
- 8:53Speaker 5: Corner's coming from inside the room.
- 8:56Speaker 6: This is something I said.
- 8:57Speaker 5: Like that really something?
- 9:00Speaker 1: Oh for the next one, for the sequel, for the
- 9:02Speaker 1: season hopefully.
- 9:04Speaker 5: Okay, what's up?
- 9:09Speaker 1: I'm Jesse. I am something like I like to call
- 9:13Speaker 1: the DP, and you wouldn't let us call you the DP.
- 9:17Speaker 2: Something like the DP just a girl on a skateboard
- 9:21Speaker 2: with a fucking camera.
- 9:22Speaker 7: Man.
- 9:23Speaker 5: I always had to say, can we get someone like
- 9:25Speaker 5: to look at this done?
- 9:26Speaker 4: Can you like someone who is sort of like responsible
- 9:29Speaker 4: for the camera?
- 9:31Speaker 1: Yeah? Over here.
- 9:32Speaker 2: I think it's because I'm in a different generation than
- 9:33Speaker 2: all you guys, and I'm just like Jen Alfa and
- 9:35Speaker 2: I'm young and I just graduated, and I'm like, you
- 9:37Speaker 2: know what, a DP doesn't have to be that big
- 9:39Speaker 2: of a freaking deal anymore. It could just be a
- 9:41Speaker 2: girl on her fucking segway get the shot. Like That's
- 9:44Speaker 2: what I love about you, and I love this whole team.
- 9:46Speaker 8: You have a different wheeled transportation device every time I
- 9:49Speaker 8: saw you skateboard Segwa Razor scooter, car, motorcycle, and I.
- 9:53Speaker 1: Think it's impressive how they were.
- 9:55Speaker 4: You were able to on all of your wheeled devices,
- 9:57Speaker 4: find a place for your iPad to be mounted on.
- 10:00Speaker 1: Yeah, I got I have to see monitor, you know
- 10:02Speaker 1: what I mean.
- 10:04Speaker 7: It's almost the number one part of your job to me,
- 10:07Speaker 7: more important than the wheeld.
- 10:10Speaker 1: Hundred percent.
- 10:10Speaker 2: I don't really care if the speed of which that's going,
- 10:13Speaker 2: as long as I could see monitor, because you're right,
- 10:15Speaker 2: that's really important.
- 10:16Speaker 6: Is it important to not use the word in your job? Yeah?
- 10:20Speaker 1: No, I think I learned that in film school really early.
- 10:23Speaker 2: Drop the for other things, like let's punch in instead
- 10:28Speaker 2: of the punch in. So we're dropping let's the punch
- 10:32Speaker 2: Let's sit around fishing right now, we're getting the punching
- 10:35Speaker 2: would make you look really super green. So I just
- 10:38Speaker 2: go straight to punching, go straight to monitor, straight to
- 10:41Speaker 2: ten one instead of I have to go to the
- 10:44Speaker 2: ten one.
- 10:46Speaker 3: I just loved like a lot of your choice, Like
- 10:48Speaker 3: you guys worked on such a beautiful film language for
- 10:51Speaker 3: this movie, and some of those choices were wild, like
- 10:54Speaker 3: spinning the the camera like crazy.
- 10:57Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 10:57Speaker 2: When I got pissed and I was like, let me
- 10:59Speaker 2: throw it yes, it was like a wheel.
- 11:03Speaker 1: Of fortune wheeler. As long as I have eyes on monitor,
- 11:05Speaker 1: let's just throw it.
- 11:07Speaker 7: Yeah, t weird Valley Village and we see just the
- 11:09Speaker 7: angry spin of the camera, and I remember we all
- 11:11Speaker 7: looked at each other. You weren't there, but we all
- 11:13Speaker 7: looked at each other, and we're like, wait, we could
- 11:16Speaker 7: do this in the movie. Yeah, we could use this
- 11:18Speaker 7: camera spin for any of the scenes, the one where
- 11:21Speaker 7: my character realizes he didn't extract anybody yet, where he remembers.
- 11:28Speaker 4: Every time there's a flashback, it's sometimes.
- 11:31Speaker 1: Maybe I'm doing stuff for village, just to wake you
- 11:33Speaker 1: all up. What's going on?
- 11:34Speaker 5: It's so crazy. My original DP, hey Gard, had to
- 11:38Speaker 5: get out.
- 11:39Speaker 9: I've been working with him for forty five years and
- 11:42Speaker 9: on the first day he got hit by the lighting
- 11:44Speaker 9: truck and now you're here and it was awesome.
- 11:48Speaker 2: Yeah, and I just happened to be on my freaking wheelies,
- 11:52Speaker 2: just wheeling by on my freaking wheelies.
- 11:55Speaker 6: Anyway, he got some of the most amazing dolly shots
- 11:58Speaker 6: I've seen.
- 11:59Speaker 5: Thank you something ever, you are so good on wheels.
- 12:01Speaker 1: Yeah, tough on not wheels.
- 12:05Speaker 5: Because I'm bored.
- 12:06Speaker 2: I'm bored, guys, if I'm not moving, I'm like, sorry,
- 12:09Speaker 2: what do you say?
- 12:10Speaker 3: You know, it was on a tripod and it was
- 12:12Speaker 3: still somehow shaking everywhere.
- 12:14Speaker 5: Yeah, it's like you were purposely gonna messing it up.
- 12:16Speaker 1: It's almost like you were sea sick if you weren't there. Yeah,
- 12:19Speaker 1: and that's boredom.
- 12:20Speaker 7: It's generation. Another thing about having you know, young people
- 12:24Speaker 7: around even here with this kind of beforehand, is you
- 12:28Speaker 7: can check in on some stuff in the movie that's
- 12:30Speaker 7: like is this okay? You know where it's like somebody
- 12:33Speaker 7: dies and you go like, oh, it doesn't matter that
- 12:35Speaker 7: they died there of a certain like race or background,
- 12:38Speaker 7: and we go, is that okay now? Yeah?
- 12:42Speaker 2: Yeah, like, oh it smells like girl farts, And I
- 12:45Speaker 2: was like, I don't know if that's cool anyhow.
- 12:47Speaker 7: Those are just called I don't think we have to
- 12:50Speaker 7: do this here, but I will push back on that, Well.
- 12:55Speaker 6: You don't think you have to do it here, but
- 12:57Speaker 6: you're gonna do it here.
- 12:58Speaker 7: I just want to say that if we wanted to
- 13:00Speaker 7: be a whole debate, now might not be the time.
- 13:02Speaker 7: But I just think that it's a at the end
- 13:04Speaker 7: of day, a compliment. Girl farts means like better than
- 13:06Speaker 7: guy farts because girls are dainty.
- 13:09Speaker 8: Or it's not different, and we can acknowledge our differences.
- 13:14Speaker 7: Like it, you're ignoring the reality of I've smelled both
- 13:17Speaker 7: types of farts, and I know which ones are girls.
- 13:19Speaker 9: You know, let's not pretend this is the word gets
- 13:22Speaker 9: hard because then you begin to talk about all the
- 13:24Speaker 9: farts you smell.
- 13:25Speaker 3: That's the weird part. For the difference we start remembering them.
- 13:29Speaker 3: That's the weird.
- 13:29Speaker 1: Because you remember him so well.
- 13:33Speaker 5: Life.
- 13:34Speaker 7: It's me Goldie Hob Kurt Russell, Jack Nicholson. We're in
- 13:41Speaker 7: a bathtub together, hot tub.
- 13:43Speaker 6: Whoa.
- 13:45Speaker 7: We're in a hot bathtub together, and I remember getting
- 13:50Speaker 7: this this but it bubbled up and everyone looks around.
- 13:53Speaker 7: Who did this? And I'm like, it's got I expell it.
- 13:56Speaker 7: It's Goldie Hab because I know that me and Nicholson,
- 13:59Speaker 7: I know what it would smell like, you know. And
- 14:01Speaker 7: he looks at me with those Nicholson eyes he's wearing
- 14:03Speaker 7: the sunglasses and he goes, you could call them girl
- 14:06Speaker 7: farts forever. I'll guarantee you that.
- 14:10Speaker 8: You heard it here first. That's good enough for me.
- 14:13Speaker 8: That's good enough for me.
- 14:14Speaker 7: That's why I called my buddy Jason Bye bye, my buddy,
- 14:17Speaker 7: you know, Budd.
- 14:20Speaker 6: Jason's my last name.
- 14:21Speaker 8: Yeah, So what was it like, you know for us
- 14:25Speaker 8: actors as directors, we're really alive on set, you know
- 14:29Speaker 8: what I mean, We're in the room, we're doing it.
- 14:31Speaker 8: What is it like to build the inanimate objects that
- 14:34Speaker 8: are being filmed?
- 14:34Speaker 5: Thank you?
- 14:35Speaker 3: So yeah, it's like such a really great job for me.
- 14:39Speaker 3: By the way, I'm Trevor Trevor Dunn. I build a
- 14:42Speaker 3: lot of the inanimate objects that are being used to
- 14:45Speaker 3: like run through walls, like the walls, like the jail cell,
- 14:50Speaker 3: like the actual sets.
- 14:52Speaker 8: I couldn't have done anything without the sets, like literally,
- 14:55Speaker 8: like they put me in this space.
- 14:57Speaker 3: Like I totally agree, like and that was really excited
- 15:00Speaker 3: for me to like just get my hands on something
- 15:02Speaker 3: real and awesome and then to watch you guys freaking
- 15:05Speaker 3: blow it up. It's so satisfying, Like it's so freaking
- 15:09Speaker 3: awesome to be there, Like I thought that was so
- 15:11Speaker 3: cool and it was such an honor to have like
- 15:13Speaker 3: such an amazing cast like kind of run through these things,
- 15:16Speaker 3: you know.
- 15:17Speaker 5: The work travel you put into this stuff. We blow
- 15:19Speaker 5: up the beautiful detail on every base on the very
- 15:23Speaker 5: keyboard key you know when that blows, it's amazing to
- 15:27Speaker 5: see it goal with forever. Yeah, it's a lot and
- 15:29Speaker 5: and and what was really funny. It was like the
- 15:31Speaker 5: funniest joke was like you wouldn't really tell me what
- 15:33Speaker 5: was going to be blowing up, like like so like
- 15:36Speaker 5: a lot of the things I just brought from home
- 15:37Speaker 5: because I was like, oh, it'll just be set back
- 15:39Speaker 5: and touches gone.
- 15:41Speaker 1: Like, yeah, your grandma's ring, right, grandma? That was so loud.
- 15:47Speaker 6: Yeah, my grandma's ring was your grandpa's casket or not?
- 15:50Speaker 5: That was my grandpa's.
- 15:51Speaker 7: Come.
- 15:53Speaker 3: It's so cool and it was really cool. It was
- 15:56Speaker 3: really cool.
- 15:57Speaker 9: Can I just say all the red tape we had
- 15:58Speaker 9: to walk through with the explosive guy to have something
- 16:01Speaker 9: blow up in the room and nobody knew what it would.
- 16:03Speaker 1: Be chafter can take a chill Bill?
- 16:08Speaker 5: Yeah, it was amazing.
- 16:12Speaker 3: And the ability to blow up a single ring camera
- 16:17Speaker 3: was amazing and we didn't know why. Yeah, so it's
- 16:21Speaker 3: like you don't even really know what it was.
- 16:22Speaker 6: Itlay is really comedic because of that.
- 16:26Speaker 5: Always say.
- 16:28Speaker 6: A ring explodes you here, and then we know.
- 16:32Speaker 4: Comedy is in the negative Spacey, how do people react
- 16:36Speaker 4: to it.
- 16:37Speaker 2: Yes, yeah, sorry, no, go ahead, just being on set
- 16:41Speaker 2: all the time when your stuff was being blown up.
- 16:43Speaker 2: I appreciated that you as we kept filming, like towards
- 16:47Speaker 2: the end of filming, you started getting better and not
- 16:49Speaker 2: yelling out all those memories when.
- 16:52Speaker 5: It would Yeah yeah, it was the first company to stop.
- 16:55Speaker 6: You were getting really good by the end.
- 16:57Speaker 5: Thank you, thank you.
- 16:58Speaker 3: It was like a note that I kept get in,
- 17:00Speaker 3: a note that I heard, like the eighty team was
- 17:02Speaker 3: so wonderful and so awesome, and it was just kind
- 17:04Speaker 3: of yelling at me a lot to stop talking and
- 17:06Speaker 3: blowing blowing moments because.
- 17:08Speaker 5: It's their job though, to yell.
- 17:09Speaker 3: And that's what I love about the They're like honed
- 17:12Speaker 3: in and mean on purpose that we all give them permission.
- 17:15Speaker 7: To do that.
- 17:16Speaker 8: I just work so much better. I am so much
- 17:18Speaker 8: better at work when I'm terrified. Yea, especially when it's
- 17:22Speaker 8: a stranger who's physically bigger than me and like literally
- 17:24Speaker 8: mean and has stinky breath.
- 17:26Speaker 6: That gets me to work.
- 17:27Speaker 3: It gets me to show up on time, yes and
- 17:30Speaker 3: plugged in. But yeah, oh no, they look at you.
- 17:32Speaker 9: I like when they look at you, like, oh they
- 17:34Speaker 9: know I'm gay.
- 17:36Speaker 7: You know what I mean.
- 17:39Speaker 5: Yeah, one time, Like it's not even very expressive. It's like.
- 17:46Speaker 2: It's like they know him, my God, and he knows that.
- 17:51Speaker 5: It's crazy.
- 17:51Speaker 3: It was tough to see, like a lot of family
- 17:53Speaker 3: heirlooms memories, but.
- 17:55Speaker 4: You had such a good sense of humor about it.
- 17:57Speaker 4: Like our group chat for the whole cast was know
- 18:00Speaker 4: my Memories.
- 18:00Speaker 1: It was called no my memories.
- 18:02Speaker 5: It's so funny.
- 18:03Speaker 6: It was just like, oh my god, no, no, no,
- 18:09Speaker 6: I knew about it.
- 18:10Speaker 8: I knew about it because I saw people posting, like
- 18:13Speaker 8: the screen grass and.
- 18:14Speaker 1: Wait, that's so crazy that you're not in it. We
- 18:16Speaker 1: we have to add you.
- 18:18Speaker 6: I love it.
- 18:19Speaker 4: Yeah, we have to get your number at some point.
- 18:22Speaker 1: Okay, and well we have to.
- 18:24Speaker 7: I wouldn't even do it. I don't think we need
- 18:26Speaker 7: to do it. There's not much going on that you
- 18:27Speaker 7: want in there.
- 18:28Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean the movie's overly busy. Yeah, like at
- 18:31Speaker 1: the point.
- 18:32Speaker 5: Speaking of I mean our star. Okay, all right, the
- 18:37Speaker 5: extraction herself.
- 18:40Speaker 4: Well, thanks god, you guys. You flatter me too much. Hey,
- 18:45Speaker 4: Jessica Ponytail, I I.
- 18:49Speaker 1: I am the star. I am the extractor.
- 18:52Speaker 4: I have done you know, I've done some movies before this,
- 18:56Speaker 4: but I haven't like done this specific. Ten years ago,
- 18:59Speaker 4: I was in this like Marvel movie called Wasp Woman.
- 19:02Speaker 6: Yeah, yeah, Marvel.
- 19:05Speaker 5: So much better.
- 19:07Speaker 6: Was like the twist we needed.
- 19:09Speaker 2: And Marvel's always based on a true story, right, which
- 19:13Speaker 2: is nice.
- 19:13Speaker 5: Right.
- 19:14Speaker 4: Wasp Woman was the true story of a woman who
- 19:16Speaker 4: got stung by a wasp so many times that she
- 19:19Speaker 4: like freaked out, She.
- 19:24Speaker 6: Freaked out, she.
- 19:27Speaker 1: Freaked out, Oh my god.
- 19:31Speaker 3: And I just didn't think she could get stung again.
- 19:33Speaker 3: It would be interesting. But it was everything.
- 19:36Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, it was different.
- 19:38Speaker 6: You're acting I mean grounded in such reality.
- 19:40Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, Like there were so many you know, sometimes
- 19:43Speaker 4: like as a girl in these movies, you never know
- 19:45Speaker 4: like what you're gonna get. But I thought this script
- 19:47Speaker 4: was super well rounded. Like I got to say stuff
- 19:51Speaker 4: like hu huh you were.
- 19:54Speaker 1: Saying and stuff like that.
- 19:56Speaker 4: So it was like sort of dimension where it's like, oh,
- 19:59Speaker 4: I know what's about to have, I know what's going on.
- 20:01Speaker 1: There's like the lights are on, somebody talk.
- 20:02Speaker 5: But we did the work.
- 20:03Speaker 9: We sent the script to an email that I was
- 20:07Speaker 9: told Alison Bechdel has access to.
- 20:11Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, awesome, and thank.
- 20:13Speaker 5: You, thank you for that how many did you end
- 20:15Speaker 5: up having.
- 20:16Speaker 1: In this movie? Counting? Are we counting arms?
- 20:21Speaker 5: Do it without arms? And then with thems?
- 20:23Speaker 1: Okay, without arms? I think I have about fourteen lines with.
- 20:29Speaker 6: Each one hits so hard, so hard?
- 20:31Speaker 4: Yeah, fourteen lines. I think about sixty minutes of screen time.
- 20:34Speaker 4: Fourteen lines? Uh, with ums, i'd say, I'd say I
- 20:39Speaker 4: have forty five lines.
- 20:40Speaker 7: Yes. Wow. The journey of your character is what we
- 20:43Speaker 7: all found fascinating. Is because you know, I've been doing
- 20:46Speaker 7: action movies for four decades now, and I took the note,
- 20:49Speaker 7: you know, where the women are just there to die
- 20:51Speaker 7: or be in danger for the men to save, and
- 20:54Speaker 7: we said, not this one. You're going to learn a lesson.
- 20:56Speaker 7: You know, you're my life. At the beginning, you say
- 21:00Speaker 7: you can't keep extracting people, it's too dangerous. And then
- 21:03Speaker 7: you need to get extracted. And you learned that I
- 21:06Speaker 7: was right the whole time. Yeah, to extract you.
- 21:09Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 21:09Speaker 4: I think it was a really awesome a lesson for
- 21:12Speaker 4: my character to learn that husband is right.
- 21:15Speaker 5: Yeah. I have to say too.
- 21:17Speaker 9: You know, you say you only had forty five lines
- 21:19Speaker 9: including ums, but we're not counting getting this sheet kicked
- 21:22Speaker 9: out of you that you'd have eight hundred lines.
- 21:25Speaker 8: Something would say, every received punch is you saying something?
- 21:29Speaker 1: Literally, I was gonna say the exact same thing. Every
- 21:31Speaker 1: every inflicted wound is a monolog.
- 21:34Speaker 4: I'm sorry, I'm not being fair because ums are um,
- 21:38Speaker 4: but we're not counting us where it's like like right
- 21:43Speaker 4: and counting ows.
- 21:44Speaker 3: We got like two hundred lines, and I thought it
- 21:48Speaker 3: was like so fun and interesting. What an interesting take that,
- 21:51Speaker 3: like while you're being like held captive, like you were
- 21:55Speaker 3: trying to extract yourself and you couldn't succeed without your husband.
- 21:58Speaker 1: Like no, it's so true.
- 21:59Speaker 7: Because the end of the day and you go ahead,
- 22:02Speaker 7: this question was for you, but all answer first only.
- 22:05Speaker 1: And that's the lesson I learned in the movie.
- 22:06Speaker 4: And so I'm like, it's I think it's awesome that, Yeah, thank.
- 22:10Speaker 7: You for accepting that, because I think it's a story
- 22:14Speaker 7: about you know, you can't just make an action movie
- 22:16Speaker 7: about action. It's got to be about marriage, which is
- 22:19Speaker 7: what this is. And so that way everyone could relate
- 22:22Speaker 7: and bring in their own and we shared so many
- 22:24Speaker 7: stories about our histories with marriage and my seven wives
- 22:28Speaker 7: and everything.
- 22:29Speaker 4: Yeah, you you talked, so you had a lot of wives,
- 22:33Speaker 4: and that's what struck me. Every time we cut it
- 22:36Speaker 4: was like you had a new wife that you were
- 22:38Speaker 4: talking about.
- 22:39Speaker 5: I was reminiscing about this scene.
- 22:41Speaker 7: Yes, well, the the the Bill Clinton era was tough
- 22:45Speaker 7: for me.
- 22:48Speaker 1: Yeah, yes, my parents, right, I'm sure you heard.
- 22:52Speaker 5: You went through a lot of different partners of that time.
- 22:55Speaker 7: Yes, six wives, through the Lewinsky trial and everything like that.
- 23:00Speaker 6: Trickle down. That was trickle down culture, but trickle down culture.
- 23:05Speaker 7: I felt like it was nice for you to kind
- 23:08Speaker 7: of I felt the energy of you. You would, you know,
- 23:11Speaker 7: be dating somebody and you'd want advice and stuff like that.
- 23:14Speaker 1: Yeah, I got.
- 23:15Speaker 4: I got a lot of awesome feedback to like, you know,
- 23:20Speaker 4: if I'm if he's not texting me back, I should
- 23:24Speaker 4: kind of just like take a chill pill, right, and
- 23:27Speaker 4: that kind of like really, uh is something I'm taking
- 23:31Speaker 4: to heart and something I'm actively doing is taking a
- 23:35Speaker 4: chill pill. Like if something happens to me, I'm sort
- 23:37Speaker 4: of taking a chill pill about it.
- 23:39Speaker 1: And everything's been awesome and great.
- 23:40Speaker 6: Yeah, are you getting those from the studio?
- 23:45Speaker 1: The chill pill? Oh, the chill pills. Yeah, those are good.
- 23:49Speaker 7: The same stuff they gave Shirley Temple.
- 23:51Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean if they broke, don't fix it.
- 23:53Speaker 4: It's tough when you Sometimes they don't label them properly,
- 23:56Speaker 4: so you think you're taking a chill chill chill out
- 23:59Speaker 4: pill when you when you need like chill, and a
- 24:02Speaker 4: chill is like an up like chill.
- 24:04Speaker 1: But alert come to works.
- 24:06Speaker 7: Yeah, you still got to be able to take some punches,
- 24:08Speaker 7: give some kicks.
- 24:10Speaker 9: Speaking of let's talk about the movie itself. The plot
- 24:14Speaker 9: very exciting. Special Agent Jack Force is about to retire
- 24:19Speaker 9: when his wife gets kidnapped and the people he was
- 24:24Speaker 9: going to never see again he has to kill and
- 24:27Speaker 9: he has to go in and we shot in Syria
- 24:29Speaker 9: specifically it was was shot in.
- 24:38Speaker 1: It was amazing to shoot in Syria.
- 24:40Speaker 6: Awesome. Yes, so cool, and I'm so glad we did
- 24:43Speaker 6: it with no permit. You know, I.
- 24:47Speaker 1: Won't sign on for a movie if there's a permit.
- 24:49Speaker 6: I won't do it.
- 24:51Speaker 7: I remember three years ago I was reading the Wall
- 24:54Speaker 7: Street Journal and I said, A saw it is on
- 24:55Speaker 7: his way out. We have to shoot something there before
- 24:58Speaker 7: he's gone. We have to get o we got the
- 25:01Speaker 7: tax breaks, go.
- 25:04Speaker 5: To capitalize this before it's all.
- 25:06Speaker 1: Look at that perfect timing three years.
- 25:09Speaker 3: Literally we shot and then literally maybe on wrap this
- 25:12Speaker 3: is when the regime.
- 25:14Speaker 7: Fortunately, for the sequel, we'll probably have to do Detroit
- 25:18Speaker 7: for Syria or something like that.
- 25:19Speaker 8: Another one, another classic one, every fucking movie.
- 25:27Speaker 1: I watched the Detroit going for Syria. I'm like, I
- 25:30Speaker 1: know that fucking lot. Yeah, you got a chevron in
- 25:33Speaker 1: the back.
- 25:34Speaker 5: I like, I know this is in Syria.
- 25:35Speaker 9: They're eating square pizza.
- 25:41Speaker 6: I know that. Come on, that's the one giveaway.
- 25:45Speaker 5: Were trying to fix that a little edges for Syria.
- 25:50Speaker 3: No, of course, but they're eating completely different yea, yeah, yeah,
- 25:54Speaker 3: they're like that pizza.
- 25:57Speaker 6: Way. Oh god, I do so tall.
- 26:02Speaker 3: I just have a question, like, now that we've like
- 26:04Speaker 3: all watched it and it's gone through post and color
- 26:07Speaker 3: and special effects, like, what was like, because because there's
- 26:10Speaker 3: so much difference between like what we film and what
- 26:13Speaker 3: we see the final product, was there a scene that
- 26:15Speaker 3: like surprised you in the movie that like, oh my gosh,
- 26:18Speaker 3: when they added CJI, when they added the explosions, when
- 26:20Speaker 3: they added everything, or maybe like you're acting even surprised you, Like,
- 26:24Speaker 3: was there a moment that surprised you?
- 26:25Speaker 7: Guys?
- 26:26Speaker 5: I don't know I just kind of think of this stuff.
- 26:29Speaker 7: That's a really good question. I need to think about
- 26:32Speaker 7: it for a second, but I'll say definitely. The first
- 26:35Speaker 7: thing that pops to mind is we shot a scene
- 26:37Speaker 7: that was just me ordering a coffee from a barista,
- 26:41Speaker 7: and then uh film did on film when we did
- 26:46Speaker 7: the comedy reshoots, you just used my footage but then
- 26:48Speaker 7: edited uh my bluddy Jason here into a totally different
- 26:55Speaker 7: conversation where it wasn't even me ordering or anything like that. Thought.
- 26:58Speaker 7: I was surprised just by that whole thing.
- 27:00Speaker 3: It was so interesting because there was almost chemistry there,
- 27:04Speaker 3: like it almost felt like you guys are.
- 27:06Speaker 9: It's funny, yeah, because all your lines worth queuing up,
- 27:09Speaker 9: like you were talking to barista and then you were responding.
- 27:11Speaker 5: I think we have a clip. Let's play this clip.
- 27:14Speaker 5: Let's play.
- 27:16Speaker 7: You alright, machiato. I'll have one coffee.
- 27:23Speaker 6: How's it going today? Pretty rainy out.
- 27:26Speaker 7: Two sugars, a little bit of creeb.
- 27:29Speaker 6: All right.
- 27:30Speaker 8: Have you heard the new Kolby Calai album. We're selling
- 27:32Speaker 8: them right here on CD.
- 27:34Speaker 7: Oh my gosh, my wife is missing.
- 27:36Speaker 1: I love that scene.
- 27:39Speaker 5: You can tell that you guys are buddies.
- 27:43Speaker 1: It's really like the couple.
- 27:47Speaker 6: What does a data person do?
- 27:48Speaker 8: Like, really, Barista, you know what I mean, while they're
- 27:52Speaker 8: getting their data stuff together there, Barista told him. And
- 27:57Speaker 8: you know what was so interesting about that day on sets.
- 27:59Speaker 8: I was on set when we were shooting your half
- 28:00Speaker 8: the scene, and I'm like, why don't we just do
- 28:02Speaker 8: shot reverse shot, you know what I mean? But I
- 28:04Speaker 8: was hanging out with your ex wife, taking her around,
- 28:07Speaker 8: buying her things on rodeo things like that, and I
- 28:11Speaker 8: had to Tipper her name, yeah, both.
- 28:13Speaker 6: That's I don't even know if her name really is Tipper.
- 28:16Speaker 6: By the way.
- 28:16Speaker 8: I think she's just trying to get everyone to give
- 28:17Speaker 8: her money. I really do, because I had to give
- 28:20Speaker 8: her a lot of money. And you said you were
- 28:21Speaker 8: going to give me a stipend, but that never happened.
- 28:24Speaker 7: Yeah, well the divorce kind of came up, and I
- 28:26Speaker 7: just felt like I didn't know you a stipend because
- 28:28Speaker 7: she wasn't my wife. Tipper and I got a divorce.
- 28:31Speaker 8: Right, But interesting day on set. I really wanted to
- 28:35Speaker 8: be in the movie with you, you know what I mean,
- 28:38Speaker 8: just with you.
- 28:40Speaker 6: But it was really fun.
- 28:41Speaker 8: I mean, the set you built was great, the way
- 28:43Speaker 8: you shot in the back of my head was fantastic.
- 28:47Speaker 5: Yeah, it was hard for us not to. We talked
- 28:48Speaker 5: all the time. You could be saying anything.
- 28:52Speaker 2: Our storyboards are all memes, yes, right, and that that
- 28:56Speaker 2: scene we're pulling from the Spider Man meme where you
- 28:58Speaker 2: back of your head, right, they're the same.
- 29:01Speaker 1: Yeah, that's yeah. I think that was awesome to it.
- 29:03Speaker 5: And then yeah, Spider Man into philosop Raptor.
- 29:09Speaker 7: And I remember seeing Velociraptor and going, but what if
- 29:12Speaker 7: we filter in Shannon Sharp saying that ain't no problem.
- 29:17Speaker 3: You did have notes for that's such a good pitch
- 29:19Speaker 3: and that really captured on film.
- 29:21Speaker 7: Excuse me, that's uh, my parking is up there, so
- 29:25Speaker 7: I'll just text my assistant to blow up the car.
- 29:28Speaker 6: I'll go get it in just a second.
- 29:30Speaker 7: Thank you. That's the thing about working on movies is
- 29:35Speaker 7: you never know how the relationship will pan out. Buddy
- 29:37Speaker 7: is my assistant?
- 29:38Speaker 10: Do?
- 29:38Speaker 6: You never know who you're going to meet.
- 29:42Speaker 1: That's amazing because.
- 29:45Speaker 7: You used to do so well in commercials and stuff
- 29:47Speaker 7: like that where you didn't need to do assistant work,
- 29:49Speaker 7: But now all those jobs are going to people that
- 29:52Speaker 7: people want to see on screen.
- 29:53Speaker 6: Me, Well, I used to be mister Pringle and now
- 29:55Speaker 6: who is it me?
- 29:57Speaker 7: They kind of buffed up mister Pringle.
- 30:00Speaker 10: Possibly they buffed up the cans to Curvelen has assur.
- 30:10Speaker 1: I can love a curvy Pringle can.
- 30:12Speaker 7: I would say one thing about this movie that was
- 30:15Speaker 7: different from almost anything I've shot is we would come
- 30:19Speaker 7: to set on other people's days just because we had
- 30:22Speaker 7: such a nice time there.
- 30:24Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 30:24Speaker 4: We had the bleachers set up for the people who
- 30:27Speaker 4: were not in the scene who could kind of like
- 30:29Speaker 4: cheer on.
- 30:30Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, like good connection.
- 30:33Speaker 2: I even had some of you guys, like when we
- 30:34Speaker 2: went tubing to get that one shot, I was in.
- 30:36Speaker 1: The tube, you join me? That was was even on you.
- 30:40Speaker 7: Incredible and the next act field in my forearm. So
- 30:43Speaker 7: this is a whole new type of workouts.
- 30:46Speaker 4: You switch jobs too, really for me, really, I was
- 30:51Speaker 4: the falcon there.
- 30:54Speaker 6: Was interesting, But that was proud of you for doing
- 30:58Speaker 6: every job on set.
- 30:59Speaker 7: You are.
- 30:59Speaker 8: You would ask us to do anything. You wouldn't do
- 31:01Speaker 8: that fucking pecked your nose off. You don't hold them
- 31:05Speaker 8: by the neck, I found out later, and while that.
- 31:08Speaker 4: Was happening, the real handler was so stressed out. I've
- 31:13Speaker 4: never seen a woman more on.
- 31:15Speaker 5: The verge of a breaking down.
- 31:17Speaker 7: A lady.
- 31:18Speaker 5: Stick to crafty.
- 31:20Speaker 1: You gotta pass out the potato salad.
- 31:22Speaker 8: You got some. I love when they make fresh potato
- 31:26Speaker 8: salad and take it around midday. No, you really need
- 31:29Speaker 8: a treat, but you know what, I want to walk
- 31:31Speaker 8: over and they just come with that perfectly made cold
- 31:33Speaker 8: potato salad.
- 31:34Speaker 5: I love it, and I love the brave person who
- 31:36Speaker 5: picks it first.
- 31:37Speaker 2: Yesing through the day a stick, just getting one.
- 31:43Speaker 4: God, that was the boom guy taking over crafty everything.
- 31:49Speaker 7: Brother, it's not the boom.
- 31:55Speaker 5: It's not a boom bro.
- 31:56Speaker 1: You to do your it's switched jobs. You don't have
- 32:00Speaker 1: to do your thing. You don't have to put your
- 32:03Speaker 1: spin on it.
- 32:05Speaker 7: Buddy.
- 32:05Speaker 1: I know how you eat it home because you deal
- 32:07Speaker 1: with space.
- 32:10Speaker 5: My God, learn what a plate is.
- 32:11Speaker 6: My remember going to Chinese with him? They jump stick.
- 32:16Speaker 4: Crazy, boom the room. He just had one chopstick with
- 32:21Speaker 4: a shiant fun of chow made eating freaking shoe.
- 32:27Speaker 5: Miles looks like a donkey.
- 32:34Speaker 7: Also, I would just be like coming in for my
- 32:36Speaker 7: frid rice. I'd be like, boom in the plate, it's
- 32:42Speaker 7: right here, it's in there.
- 32:43Speaker 6: Boom tipped in.
- 32:46Speaker 7: Oh, I think the.
- 32:46Speaker 6: Boom would swing soy sauce around the room.
- 32:49Speaker 2: Oh it sucks when you get like an Americano five am.
- 32:51Speaker 1: You're like booming cup.
- 32:55Speaker 6: Ridiculous, ridiculous.
- 32:58Speaker 5: Some great memories.
- 33:00Speaker 1: God, what a fun, fun, fun, fun time.
- 33:03Speaker 3: One of my favorite scenes actually was like because it
- 33:06Speaker 3: was so surprising for me when we shot. It was
- 33:09Speaker 3: the final extraction because they wanted me to make a
- 33:12Speaker 3: shot for shot, like you guys were like pushing for
- 33:15Speaker 3: me to make a shot for shot remake of my
- 33:16Speaker 3: own apartment, And so I brought in so much of
- 33:19Speaker 3: like literally all of my things for my apartment to
- 33:21Speaker 3: make it feel lived in and stuff like that.
- 33:23Speaker 5: Because it was the kidnapped room where she was, we
- 33:26Speaker 5: wanted to look awful.
- 33:27Speaker 4: Yeah, I remember the stage directions were like interior place
- 33:30Speaker 4: I would never and it.
- 33:33Speaker 3: Was it was like place of your apartment, like you'd
- 33:36Speaker 3: see it like your apartment.
- 33:39Speaker 4: And I remember the the and I know it was
- 33:41Speaker 4: just acting, but it really tested me because living in
- 33:45Speaker 4: that space, just seeing those posters on the walls and
- 33:48Speaker 4: the lint on the floor and the oh my god,
- 33:51Speaker 4: the like the trundle bed there was like it set
- 33:56Speaker 4: me into and you could tell.
- 33:58Speaker 6: They could afford better. You can tell they make a
- 34:01Speaker 6: good living and they should live better.
- 34:03Speaker 9: But for exactly who hasn't told this person to grow up?
- 34:07Speaker 1: It was a matter of taste and not income. And
- 34:09Speaker 1: that was the worst part.
- 34:10Speaker 7: I remember looking at me like, this character better be
- 34:16Speaker 7: related to Bob Marley because he has way too many
- 34:18Speaker 7: posters of him everywhere.
- 34:19Speaker 3: Yeah, and I got a lot of questions that day
- 34:22Speaker 3: about what I like about Bob Marley and I and
- 34:24Speaker 3: I just love his music and I think he's like
- 34:26Speaker 3: an icon, like I think he is.
- 34:28Speaker 6: I threw up when I walked on set. I threw
- 34:31Speaker 6: up right away.
- 34:32Speaker 3: And it was hard to watch it explode because in
- 34:36Speaker 3: that moment, you guys just exploded literally every single item
- 34:39Speaker 3: in that and everybody cheered from the bleachers.
- 34:41Speaker 5: Yeah, we're done with my mother's journal.
- 34:43Speaker 3: There was a whole college class there that day, do
- 34:45Speaker 3: yeah you let that college class.
- 34:47Speaker 5: Watch was a shadow.
- 34:49Speaker 7: Almost a fun week because by this point you had
- 34:52Speaker 7: said all my memories almost every day, so you started going,
- 34:55Speaker 7: I can't bring things that are my memories to set.
- 34:57Speaker 7: So we had to find ways to be like, oh,
- 34:59Speaker 7: we're doing doing a white elephant where everyone brings something
- 35:02Speaker 7: important to them don't get back at the end, and
- 35:05Speaker 7: then well we say you go first, and then and
- 35:08Speaker 7: then we don't do any other ones.
- 35:10Speaker 1: I remember I had to stop too many.
- 35:14Speaker 6: Convinced.
- 35:15Speaker 4: I had to pick you as secret Santa, and then
- 35:17Speaker 4: were you to pick me? And then I had to
- 35:19Speaker 4: like hint at you that I really wanted to see
- 35:21Speaker 4: your letters from your ex girlfriend, that I really wanted
- 35:24Speaker 4: it again.
- 35:25Speaker 1: But they look great in the shot, the look, they
- 35:27Speaker 1: look great in the shot. I want you back. And
- 35:30Speaker 1: then it shattered and there was.
- 35:32Speaker 6: There wasn't a white elephant.
- 35:34Speaker 2: No, no, did you We said that on the group chat,
- 35:36Speaker 2: We said this isn't a real Yeah.
- 35:38Speaker 8: I gave a lot of gifts to it. I thought
- 35:40Speaker 8: it was going to come back around.
- 35:41Speaker 1: Oh shoot, we got to put you in the group chats.
- 35:43Speaker 9: And this is there's somebody from the studio that keeps
- 35:47Speaker 9: calling me being like someone left all these stupid iPads
- 35:50Speaker 9: in Syria.
- 35:53Speaker 6: Okay, that's me. I'm very generous.
- 35:55Speaker 8: I bought a bunch of iPads and had them shipped
- 35:57Speaker 8: overnight to Syria.
- 35:59Speaker 1: I left all my fits spinners in Syria. Speaking of Fidget, spinners.
- 36:03Speaker 2: I want to talk about my favorite scene I shot
- 36:05Speaker 2: on the fidget spinner.
- 36:08Speaker 5: Your characters.
- 36:09Speaker 2: Your characters are like somehow about to kiss during mid extractions?
- 36:14Speaker 1: Right.
- 36:14Speaker 3: I loved it because you know, usually when you have
- 36:16Speaker 3: like a dolly, you like like light push in, light
- 36:19Speaker 3: pop push out, your like kind of movement, you add
- 36:21Speaker 3: a movement to the scene to add a little bit
- 36:23Speaker 3: of like tension and stuff. You instead spun the camera
- 36:26Speaker 3: very very slowly like this on a fidget spinner to
- 36:29Speaker 3: add tension.
- 36:30Speaker 5: I thought that was nauseous, but it was in a
- 36:32Speaker 5: good way.
- 36:33Speaker 1: Thank you so much.
- 36:33Speaker 7: Yeah, and I don't know what everyone's picturing at home,
- 36:36Speaker 7: but this is It's not like we had a fidget
- 36:38Speaker 7: spinner fashioned to normal size. These are the little fidget
- 36:41Speaker 7: spinners that you put. You made the tripod where you
- 36:43Speaker 7: pull the thing all the way up very close together,
- 36:47Speaker 7: and then your little toes were on another one going in.
- 36:49Speaker 4: The opposite Yeah, one of my bossive like system of
- 36:52Speaker 4: gears and levees.
- 36:53Speaker 1: They were all fidget spinners.
- 36:55Speaker 7: But I remember on that day nobody was distracted by
- 36:58Speaker 7: their adhd know.
- 37:05Speaker 2: I think it was the only day our sound guys
- 37:06Speaker 2: Boom was just still.
- 37:08Speaker 9: Normal moving all around, and you two were amazing on
- 37:11Speaker 9: that kiss and because I said, do we need an
- 37:14Speaker 9: intimacy coordinator and you said, no, I can handle it right.
- 37:17Speaker 7: And I do that on my own movie.
- 37:21Speaker 4: And I remember I didn't answer the question, but but
- 37:25Speaker 4: you were able to answer, and you I just really
- 37:28Speaker 4: appreciate how you were.
- 37:29Speaker 1: Able to like pick the ball up.
- 37:30Speaker 4: You know, it's like there's no it's like it's it's
- 37:32Speaker 4: like I got your back, right.
- 37:33Speaker 8: I didn't have to think once on the movie because
- 37:35Speaker 8: he told me what to do every day.
- 37:36Speaker 6: Yeah, it was incredible.
- 37:37Speaker 3: Well, we can actually play that clip, like the big
- 37:39Speaker 3: final clip kissing. I love how they edited you into
- 37:42Speaker 3: it too, like this is like right after the extraction,
- 37:46Speaker 3: you guys are finally connected. Like I just really want
- 37:48Speaker 3: to see this anyway.
- 37:51Speaker 6: What was it like on set that day? Let's do it,
- 37:56Speaker 6: Let's let's see it.
- 37:57Speaker 5: Let's let's all play the clip.
- 38:01Speaker 7: Are you okay, Sandra? I should be asking you that question?
- 38:06Speaker 6: God, it's hot out.
- 38:09Speaker 7: What does that smell?
- 38:10Speaker 1: I thought?
- 38:11Speaker 4: I thought I could have extracted myself, but I didn't
- 38:15Speaker 4: have it.
- 38:16Speaker 7: It's okay, baby, fingers are slipping on the keys, They're
- 38:23Speaker 7: coming in if I don't see you again.
- 38:27Speaker 1: No, no, I'll go.
- 38:30Speaker 7: No, No, I have to go out there. Come here.
- 38:34Speaker 1: I got us into this mess. I'm gonna get us out.
- 38:37Speaker 6: Oh God, sirens, make me far.
- 38:42Speaker 10: Come here, baby, amazing, turn it off, extracted.
- 39:11Speaker 6: I guess I have to watch the end.
- 39:12Speaker 7: You punched the last woman, you bursted.
- 39:17Speaker 6: God to So, I mean, Siria is hot, Detroit is hot.
- 39:21Speaker 6: Where are we?
- 39:23Speaker 5: Wow? That was such a legendary ending.
- 39:25Speaker 4: Amazing that the way that we that we improvised that
- 39:28Speaker 4: because you know you kind of you. You pulled one
- 39:31Speaker 4: of the bad guys aside and were like and and
- 39:33Speaker 4: at this one, just keep punching.
- 39:35Speaker 5: Exactly fun with it.
- 39:36Speaker 9: So I had an amazing conversation with our financiers. They
- 39:40Speaker 9: came up to me and they said, we have fifteen
- 39:42Speaker 9: minutes for the last twenty pages.
- 39:46Speaker 7: Incredible.
- 39:49Speaker 6: You could feel the financiers on this one. They brought
- 39:52Speaker 6: us through the us.
- 39:54Speaker 5: They brought us there is an amazing was rolling.
- 39:58Speaker 1: And I brought a little gift for the tea.
- 40:00Speaker 5: I oh my god, that conversation. Yeah, great job everyone.
- 40:09Speaker 5: Next time we have to act like it last old done.
- 40:14Speaker 3: Hey, just heads up, we we have to get out
- 40:17Speaker 3: of here.
- 40:18Speaker 5: Well, do you mean we have to get we have
- 40:19Speaker 5: fifth if this is serious.
- 40:20Speaker 6: We did everything perfect. It was your fault, but let's
- 40:23Speaker 6: just get through this. We have fifteen minutes for the last.
- 40:26Speaker 5: This is how you want to pacify you right now, we're.
- 40:28Speaker 1: Thinking for the end. Just drive a truck through it.
- 40:30Speaker 9: Just if you could drive a truck through trucks that
- 40:32Speaker 9: explode in front of us.
- 40:33Speaker 5: Well, you got fifteen minutes. And again, we did everything perfect.
- 40:36Speaker 1: We did everything we could.
- 40:38Speaker 7: The movie is co funded by US siphoning money off
- 40:41Speaker 7: of the Russian government giving money to the Asad regime,
- 40:44Speaker 7: and that money is about to run dry.
- 40:46Speaker 2: And told you maybe a couple of hours ago, but
- 40:48Speaker 2: it just really came into Okay, okay.
- 40:50Speaker 9: Okay, next time seeing one of you to talk to
- 40:52Speaker 9: me because this is a team up and I don't.
- 40:54Speaker 5: Like this feeling.
- 40:55Speaker 1: So we thought it would be nice if we all
- 40:57Speaker 1: came out.
- 40:57Speaker 5: Because it wasn't nice.
- 40:59Speaker 1: We were all sorry. We were all at breakfast. Anyway.
- 41:04Speaker 6: We had a delicious breakfast.
- 41:06Speaker 5: Have you been to wear breakfast?
- 41:09Speaker 1: Breakfast?
- 41:09Speaker 6: Yes, I've had breakfast.
- 41:11Speaker 1: You're gonna love it.
- 41:12Speaker 8: Grow up, you know, you get older, you're like, I
- 41:13Speaker 8: don't need breakfast every day. I just have a big lunch.
- 41:15Speaker 8: But then you actually have breakfast with your friends and like, yeow,
- 41:18Speaker 8: this started my day off.
- 41:19Speaker 5: Didn't just say we had fifty and we had twelve. Okay,
- 41:22Speaker 5: you waited talking about breakfast. All right, everyone have fun
- 41:25Speaker 5: with this one.
- 41:26Speaker 6: We've just gone to them.
- 41:29Speaker 7: Wow.
- 41:29Speaker 8: That was wow. I like more watching movies or making them.
- 41:39Speaker 5: Yeah, you know what I mean.
- 41:41Speaker 6: I don't know.
- 41:42Speaker 5: For you, it's almost like watching a movie.
- 41:45Speaker 6: Yeah, that's right. I guess that's what I love is interdisciplinary.
- 41:48Speaker 3: Did they show you the clips before when you were
- 41:50Speaker 3: edited in? I beg your party, like when you were
- 41:52Speaker 3: added to the scene.
- 41:53Speaker 8: This is the first time I've seen any clip or
- 41:55Speaker 8: heard any audio of any of the movie.
- 41:57Speaker 1: Oh my god. That's oh my gosh.
- 41:59Speaker 8: You didn't get I almost didn't come here today, but
- 42:02Speaker 8: I overheard someone else talking on the phone on speakerphone
- 42:05Speaker 8: on the lot, and I.
- 42:05Speaker 6: Was doing it for me. I could tell.
- 42:11Speaker 7: I'll say this. I went to one of your shows
- 42:13Speaker 7: at the Groundlings Theater, one of your and it was
- 42:16Speaker 7: incredible to see that there you're respected, You're at the
- 42:19Speaker 7: top of the hierarchy the room. But the second you
- 42:25Speaker 7: walk on set, nobody gives a shit about that. It
- 42:28Speaker 7: already cares about like that little world that it.
- 42:31Speaker 3: Really makes it feel so small, even though you probably
- 42:33Speaker 3: feel that it's bigger than LI.
- 42:35Speaker 4: So wait, you you pay for classes.
- 42:39Speaker 6: I used to.
- 42:39Speaker 8: Now I pay just to pay the teacher directly for rehearsal,
- 42:42Speaker 8: for rehearsals, so I'm not.
- 42:45Speaker 6: In class anymore. It's really funny.
- 42:47Speaker 9: Saw a show too, and everyone literally he gets the
- 42:49Speaker 9: longest standing ovation at the end of the show, and
- 42:51Speaker 9: I thought, And then they talk about how he's in
- 42:54Speaker 9: the extraction team.
- 42:55Speaker 5: They talk about.
- 42:56Speaker 9: It and insane and it's so funny because I'm like,
- 42:59Speaker 9: but I know that he knows he had a terrible
- 43:02Speaker 9: time on that set and he was nothing here far
- 43:06Speaker 9: the magic of theater. I guess it's like bragging about
- 43:08Speaker 9: I'm I'm going to go be an ant like that's
- 43:11Speaker 9: what he's doing there.
- 43:12Speaker 8: And I appreciated your speech at my show, I thought,
- 43:14Speaker 8: And I'm glad you had to stand up and.
- 43:16Speaker 5: Talk that spotlight guy moved on the fast.
- 43:18Speaker 3: Yeah, I gotta say I loved your skit and character
- 43:22Speaker 3: at the Growling is the guy who can't find the
- 43:24Speaker 3: water at the airport.
- 43:25Speaker 5: Thought that was so funny.
- 43:27Speaker 1: Happened? That's literally happening.
- 43:29Speaker 6: Yeah right, you didn't understand. Hi, I'm supposed to take
- 43:37Speaker 6: off out of him A four, but I can't find
- 43:39Speaker 6: a drinking fountain.
- 43:41Speaker 5: Yeah, we have them. They should be down the street.
- 43:44Speaker 5: But right now we're just.
- 43:45Speaker 6: Down the street. Aren't inside an airport. Where's the drinking fountain?
- 43:51Speaker 6: Has anybody seen a fountain here at all?
- 43:54Speaker 7: Now both of you have accents.
- 43:59Speaker 5: Boo boom fountain boom boom boom.
- 44:03Speaker 3: Well uptown, the movie's playing again. Well, you can go
- 44:18Speaker 3: to the other terminal.
- 44:20Speaker 5: It's too I can't type on the wait, let's watch
- 44:24Speaker 5: this play out. This might be beautiful harmony.
- 44:27Speaker 7: You'll have to extract this bullet from my stomach.
- 44:31Speaker 3: They can't let you, look, sir, I can't let you
- 44:35Speaker 3: have a drink out of this.
- 44:36Speaker 1: You save yourself.
- 44:43Speaker 7: No, okay, fine, but I'll come back for you. I'll
- 44:46Speaker 7: come back for you me.
- 44:47Speaker 5: This is my water bottle. Don't come up and drink
- 44:49Speaker 5: it from.
- 44:49Speaker 8: Well, fine, I'm gonna walk away, but don't make fun
- 44:53Speaker 8: of my limp.
- 44:55Speaker 7: Where's the water? Someone get my kidnapped wife of water.
- 45:01Speaker 1: I'm so thirsty.
- 45:03Speaker 4: I wish I could have one of those from the
- 45:05Speaker 4: vending machine.
- 45:07Speaker 7: Where are the vending machines in this place?
- 45:09Speaker 5: You could just go to a vending machine and get
- 45:11Speaker 5: a water.
- 45:12Speaker 6: A vending machine. I don't have two dollars. Look at
- 45:14Speaker 6: my other limb.
- 45:16Speaker 7: Wait, honey, it's that Bruno Mars song that was playing
- 45:19Speaker 7: the first.
- 45:19Speaker 6: Time we met.
- 45:20Speaker 1: Wow.
- 45:23Speaker 5: What amazing set. I can't believe that worked together so well.
- 45:28Speaker 3: And I loved It's just so funny that at the
- 45:30Speaker 3: Groundlings you did a character that I had two limps.
- 45:32Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 45:33Speaker 8: Yeah, well they say they put something in the legs,
- 45:35Speaker 8: you know, and I did put something in one leg
- 45:38Speaker 8: and it wasn't enough, so I put.
- 45:39Speaker 7: It for it.
- 45:40Speaker 5: They pushed it will be funny.
- 45:43Speaker 7: I don't know how you do what you do. I
- 45:45Speaker 7: could get the words on the page by the genuses.
- 45:48Speaker 7: I could not do that stuff.
- 45:49Speaker 1: I appreciate what is everyone working on after this? This
- 45:52Speaker 1: movie took a big, big chunk of my life. So
- 45:55Speaker 1: I'm like, what's next.
- 45:56Speaker 3: Yeah, So I'm just trying to rebuild, trying to start
- 45:59Speaker 3: again in a big way. All my stuff is gone, so,
- 46:03Speaker 3: you know, just trying to collect and uh, you.
- 46:05Speaker 6: Probably got raw materials, right, you got some raw materials
- 46:08Speaker 6: from said or.
- 46:09Speaker 5: Wood is not nothing?
- 46:11Speaker 1: Parts of your car still made it through after that scene.
- 46:14Speaker 3: When we cut that scene, much of just plain wood
- 46:16Speaker 3: and a half of cars.
- 46:18Speaker 1: And a good blow up.
- 46:20Speaker 7: Real.
- 46:20Speaker 3: Yeah, but actually just I found these awesome uh Driver
- 46:26Speaker 3: posters you know that movie at the Drive posters that
- 46:30Speaker 3: I'm gonna put like my new apartment, and can I
- 46:32Speaker 3: suggest a bunch of different shore posters.
- 46:35Speaker 5: Put them in frames. You're an adult, don't just put
- 46:38Speaker 5: them on the wall with tape. No, they look good.
- 46:41Speaker 3: And then I also am I bought the drive jacket
- 46:44Speaker 3: actually from.
- 46:45Speaker 5: The movie.
- 46:47Speaker 11: That's kind of like adolescent, you know, like you should
- 46:50Speaker 11: get like like a Baby Driver poster or something that's
- 46:53Speaker 11: like a little more grown, more grown up, you know,
- 46:54Speaker 11: because I kind of from like a certain period, you know.
- 46:58Speaker 5: Okay, yeah, I just move Yeah, I just have never
- 47:01Speaker 5: seen Baby Driver.
- 47:05Speaker 7: Well, I'm i'm personally as an executive producer of this
- 47:09Speaker 7: film seeing how much you lost making it. And to me,
- 47:14Speaker 7: that's there's something beautiful because as actors, we lose so
- 47:17Speaker 7: much of ourselves in these movies, and nobody else is
- 47:20Speaker 7: risking anything. And I like when the crew. Well, in
- 47:25Speaker 7: this set, the crew is risking things, your life, your
- 47:30Speaker 7: your lunch being thrown up, you know. So it feels
- 47:34Speaker 7: like we have something in common here, right, and I
- 47:37Speaker 7: feel like as actors we could really it makes it
- 47:39Speaker 7: brings us up to the next level.
- 47:41Speaker 5: Wow, so you're gonna help or well.
- 47:45Speaker 7: Can you help me get pack the emotional loss? Yeah?
- 47:50Speaker 7: I get I almost Heath Ledgard during this one, you
- 47:54Speaker 7: know what I mean? Because I gave so much of
- 47:56Speaker 7: myself to.
- 47:56Speaker 8: Extract you should have. We would have loved to see
- 47:58Speaker 8: that performance. I love to see that, just that commit.
- 48:02Speaker 5: You almost you almost rented that apartment.
- 48:05Speaker 7: I almost did, and then I was like, it's exhausting
- 48:07Speaker 7: and I want to go out tonight. I started keeping
- 48:10Speaker 7: a character journal, and I was like, I don't know
- 48:12Speaker 7: what this guy thinks. He's not me.
- 48:15Speaker 1: Just wasting paper.
- 48:18Speaker 8: Stinks in here, really stinks in here. I don't know
- 48:20Speaker 8: who did that, but I know it wasn't one of
- 48:21Speaker 8: the boys. I'll say that.
- 48:24Speaker 4: Okay, guilty, guilty, I am.
- 48:32Speaker 1: Actually in another Morvel movie.
- 48:34Speaker 4: It's about a lady who gets bit by a rat
- 48:37Speaker 4: and she makes her realize she doesn't like rats.
- 48:42Speaker 6: Rat think right, rat thing?
- 48:44Speaker 1: Rat thing, rat thing.
- 48:45Speaker 6: Think I've heard of this?
- 48:46Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah yeah, And.
- 48:47Speaker 4: It's a woman who's like kind of perturbed and she's like, shoot,
- 48:52Speaker 4: I didn't like that.
- 48:52Speaker 6: I can see it.
- 48:53Speaker 1: It's kind of a lot of that.
- 48:54Speaker 9: Can I give you, like a literally put on some
- 48:56Speaker 9: of these mordible movies? Maybe a question you can ask? Yeah,
- 48:59Speaker 9: I was wondering you could ask, hey, can something else
- 49:02Speaker 9: happen in this movie? Like forty five minutes in?
- 49:05Speaker 4: Oh? Interesting, because they's just like, what do you think
- 49:08Speaker 4: is missing?
- 49:09Speaker 9: I think something something gets bit, you get bit or
- 49:12Speaker 9: you get stung, and then you go crazy for about
- 49:15Speaker 9: an hour and a half.
- 49:16Speaker 5: That'd be sick. Yeah, it's it's what it is.
- 49:21Speaker 4: This is our key, this is our key audience member
- 49:24Speaker 4: that we're trying to get. So that is actually all
- 49:26Speaker 4: the testing we needed. I'm gonna keep I'm gonna move
- 49:28Speaker 4: forward as planned.
- 49:29Speaker 6: You know what I'm excited for.
- 49:31Speaker 8: I'm excited for when we get down the road and
- 49:32Speaker 8: we see all these characters mash up together. I'm excited
- 49:35Speaker 8: for the Naughty Professor version of this Morvel universe.
- 49:38Speaker 1: Yeah, well, we're thinking about it. We're thinking maybe Wasp
- 49:42Speaker 1: Woman and rat Fing a bunch of women healing.
- 49:45Speaker 4: Yeah, she gets together to heal and they're all her
- 49:49Speaker 4: in different ways.
- 49:50Speaker 1: That's all. It's gonna be really exciting, really perfectly. I'm
- 49:53Speaker 1: attached for the reboot to Pit My Ride.
- 49:55Speaker 5: Wow.
- 49:56Speaker 6: Wow wow.
- 49:58Speaker 2: From the car perspective, from the cars, respected the cars,
- 50:01Speaker 2: it's like a.
- 50:03Speaker 1: What is the fab five queer eye? The cars are
- 50:07Speaker 1: going to make these boys look like man.
- 50:10Speaker 3: Wow.
- 50:11Speaker 5: Five cars that are tricking out of.
- 50:15Speaker 4: It.
- 50:18Speaker 7: Jack, the failed pilot that.
- 50:22Speaker 5: I have seen.
- 50:22Speaker 9: I have seen an episode, the first episode they sent
- 50:25Speaker 9: it to me. These cars put a muffler in a
- 50:28Speaker 9: teenage boy.
- 50:29Speaker 1: Wow, finally start speaking.
- 50:31Speaker 5: Wow.
- 50:33Speaker 6: I thought I didn't think that's where it was going
- 50:35Speaker 6: to go. But that's amazing.
- 50:36Speaker 5: Yeah, it's horrified.
- 50:37Speaker 7: Unfortunately, his dad remains a homophobe for the whole episode.
- 50:43Speaker 6: Episode interesting.
- 50:47Speaker 1: It's part of are you interacting anything coming up?
- 50:50Speaker 9: Well, I am excited to announce I have been committed
- 50:54Speaker 9: to the Extraction team two, three.
- 50:58Speaker 6: And four.
- 50:59Speaker 5: Are we are we attached to? Well, there's one person
- 51:02Speaker 5: who's attached. Okay out, Yeah, you could be in it.
- 51:12Speaker 5: We won't know until we get closer to the release day. Yeah.
- 51:15Speaker 6: Put me on the other side of things or whatever.
- 51:17Speaker 6: I'm always available.
- 51:18Speaker 5: We know you're available, and we'll let you know.
- 51:20Speaker 6: Okay, okay, we're on the same page. We're on the
- 51:23Speaker 6: same page.
- 51:24Speaker 5: I'm excited though the universe is expanding.
- 51:26Speaker 9: Jessica Ponytail character is going to get an entire scene
- 51:30Speaker 9: where she kicks us for one.
- 51:32Speaker 7: Wow.
- 51:34Speaker 5: Really excited.
- 51:36Speaker 1: I think I get to say something like, how's that
- 51:39Speaker 1: for your own medicine?
- 51:42Speaker 5: For your own for this one?
- 51:44Speaker 7: And we don't have to do this, but is there
- 51:46Speaker 7: a way maybe someone could write the whole script in
- 51:48Speaker 7: English instead of you writing it in Russia and then
- 51:50Speaker 7: just Google translating, because like, how's that for?
- 51:57Speaker 1: Do you think we should get an English pass on it?
- 51:59Speaker 4: That?
- 52:00Speaker 1: It's like one thing?
- 52:00Speaker 5: But isn't that what you mean?
- 52:04Speaker 1: It's not wrong?
- 52:06Speaker 5: O Caun, you send me a sample.
- 52:09Speaker 6: I just do this.
- 52:09Speaker 5: Sit me a sample of you translating Russian to English.
- 52:12Speaker 6: I don't have that. I gotta break in. I just
- 52:19Speaker 6: need to find my break in.
- 52:21Speaker 5: Jason, what do you got lined up?
- 52:23Speaker 7: Uh?
- 52:24Speaker 8: Well, I'm I'm hoping to get reinstated by Uber. There
- 52:28Speaker 8: that had a little confusion with a red light problem,
- 52:31Speaker 8: but I think it was the light not the driver.
- 52:33Speaker 5: And the same with the light.
- 52:35Speaker 8: The light was too slow, it was too red, and
- 52:39Speaker 8: that's what the camera says. But I don't again, I
- 52:42Speaker 8: think the cameras are in black and white. I could
- 52:43Speaker 8: even tell what's red or not. Anyway, Lyft is also
- 52:45Speaker 8: going to reinstate me soon and hopefully you breets will
- 52:49Speaker 8: also let me once they do that.
- 52:50Speaker 3: I also heard you're maybe going out for a big
- 52:53Speaker 3: character showcase coming up, or auditioning to do a character showcase.
- 52:56Speaker 8: Yes, I'm auditioning for the for their JFL showcase.
- 53:02Speaker 5: You're going to audition.
- 53:02Speaker 8: I'm an audition for the Gramming. So see if they
- 53:04Speaker 8: let me into the audition for JFL. And yeah, it's
- 53:06Speaker 8: cost two thousand dollars. But I'm working on some of
- 53:09Speaker 8: my best stuff.
- 53:09Speaker 3: Oh my gosh, can you just kind of run off
- 53:12Speaker 3: some of those characters.
- 53:12Speaker 6: That's Spaghetti Papa. Spaghetti Papa is going to be in there.
- 53:17Speaker 5: Spaghetti Papa. I just can't get enough spaghetti.
- 53:19Speaker 6: Mister Backwards is going to be in there. Yeah, the
- 53:23Speaker 6: way the room exactly. And don't forget about Auntie butt Face. Yeah,
- 53:30Speaker 6: she she's funny, you know, and people do like that.
- 53:34Speaker 8: I do that people, like a lot of them are yeah, yeah,
- 53:41Speaker 8: she's good, she's.
- 53:42Speaker 7: Really good, but we do have fell asleep. Sorry, okay,
- 53:55Speaker 7: well you don't have to play.
- 53:56Speaker 6: Okay, thank you.
- 53:58Speaker 5: What are you going to final?
- 54:00Speaker 7: Well, we'll be shooting these next four and I'll be
- 54:02Speaker 7: doing that in repertory with David Mammott's Speed the Plow
- 54:05Speaker 7: on broad which I'm very excited to do. That's being
- 54:10Speaker 7: directed by uh David Mammott.
- 54:15Speaker 5: Yeah, you told me.
- 54:17Speaker 9: You almost pulled out when you realize Speed actually has
- 54:19Speaker 9: nothing to do with the play.
- 54:21Speaker 7: No, yeah, I thought it was the movie Speed but
- 54:23Speaker 7: on a Plow. And that's because if you've noticed, if
- 54:28Speaker 7: you've ever gotten to a play, they're not action movies,
- 54:31Speaker 7: and they could be.
- 54:33Speaker 3: And it's so nice to hear somebody say it like that.
- 54:35Speaker 3: It's so simple, like plays are not action. When they
- 54:38Speaker 3: try to make it action movies, it doesn't work.
- 54:42Speaker 7: And I was like, oh my gosh, that was my
- 54:45Speaker 7: that was my suggestion though, because it was like, this
- 54:48Speaker 7: whole thing is just did the guy have sex with
- 54:50Speaker 7: the student? Not why doesn't she run him over at
- 54:53Speaker 7: some point?
- 54:54Speaker 1: Or like yeah, she should get in a helicopter.
- 54:57Speaker 8: So much simpler to just say the plow needs to
- 54:59Speaker 8: stay above fifty miles an hour, and you just fly
- 55:03Speaker 8: around the stage plowing a field.
- 55:05Speaker 6: It's so much simpler.
- 55:07Speaker 7: I'll be able to working on the script to see
- 55:10Speaker 7: with a little bit of my buddy Jason's help.
- 55:13Speaker 6: Let's hope.
- 55:13Speaker 8: So I'm right outside the studio every day hoping they
- 55:17Speaker 8: let me in.
- 55:18Speaker 7: But I'm very excited about that. And then we're in
- 55:20Speaker 7: talks with the UH. Once I saw the falcon trainer
- 55:24Speaker 7: see the director get attacked, I was like, this freak out.
- 55:27Speaker 7: I feel like you could do this if we can
- 55:29Speaker 7: buy her store.
- 55:30Speaker 4: Yeah, we're really excited. And this woman is so hard
- 55:33Speaker 4: to get a hold of. Yes, but as soon as
- 55:36Speaker 4: we get her on the line, we i am I'm
- 55:40Speaker 4: trying to get those life rights because I'm trying to
- 55:42Speaker 4: go method as that woman.
- 55:43Speaker 5: That's also why we fired her.
- 55:44Speaker 9: By the way to the falcon she started to get
- 55:46Speaker 9: a hold of, they get slipping off her head.
- 55:49Speaker 1: She slipped right, She moisturizes constantly.
- 55:54Speaker 9: Crazy, you want your falcon sleep off her hand, shup
- 55:58Speaker 9: claws you think they'll be able.
- 55:59Speaker 4: To It's really like, it's really endearing because the falcon's
- 56:02Speaker 4: kind of going whoa, it's.
- 56:04Speaker 5: Definitely I've never seen a falcon bearing there.
- 56:07Speaker 6: A little hat on. There's a little hat on.
- 56:09Speaker 2: Yeah, or sometimes when he's holding stuff and he drops
- 56:12Speaker 2: all his papers.
- 56:13Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 56:15Speaker 3: Wow, you guys are talking outside of of the movies.
- 56:18Speaker 3: Is that is that an item we should look out for?
- 56:21Speaker 4: Or I mean, look, I I'm I'm taking a chill pill.
- 56:28Speaker 4: I'm definitely not reading into anything and I'm taking everything
- 56:32Speaker 4: day and day out.
- 56:33Speaker 7: Well, just scona tail. Why don't you turn.
- 56:37Speaker 5: That my grandmother's ring back together? Grandmother?
- 56:47Speaker 7: The question?
- 56:47Speaker 5: Now, that's what we call it. Show business, Good.
