- 0:00Speaker 1: This is the Ben and Ashley I Almost Famous podcast
- 0:03Speaker 1: with on our radio.
- 0:06Speaker 2: It's Almost Famis Podcast. We're here today giving you all
- 0:10Speaker 2: the latest news that's happened in Bachelor Nation. Ashley, We're
- 0:15Speaker 2: gonna kick it off with a banger. You ready? Yeah,
- 0:18Speaker 2: that's a banger. I see it. I see where we're going.
- 0:22Speaker 2: Kat is owing Dale Moss broken up.
- 0:25Speaker 3: Question mark, I'd say absolutely, yes, yeah, for sure. Well
- 0:31Speaker 3: I'm sorry. Kat unfollowed Dale on Instagram. That's all we
- 0:35Speaker 3: need to know. Dale still follows Kat. The last picture
- 0:39Speaker 3: they posted was September eleventh at the Padres game, so
- 0:44Speaker 3: it's been over two months since they posted anything of
- 0:47Speaker 3: each other and she unfollowed. So do they ever make
- 0:51Speaker 3: an announcement or they just let it fizzle out they
- 0:54Speaker 3: goes to the Bachelor audience.
- 0:56Speaker 2: Well, I mean I think at this point, like us
- 0:59Speaker 2: talking about this on this show, I think people are
- 1:01Speaker 2: now going to start to make them make an announcement, right,
- 1:04Speaker 2: I mean, I think we've talked about this. Do they
- 1:08Speaker 2: need to? I mean, it's their business, but they did
- 1:11Speaker 2: meet on TV, and so don't you think there's a
- 1:13Speaker 2: little bit of an obligation to be like, hey, nothing
- 1:16Speaker 2: more than we're not together anymore.
- 1:18Speaker 3: I think so, I bet.
- 1:20Speaker 2: Kat would come back on this show. Maybe we just
- 1:22Speaker 2: try to get her as a guest.
- 1:24Speaker 3: I think Kat has ever been on our show. She
- 1:26Speaker 3: thought that like we were mean, But I was like Kat,
- 1:30Speaker 3: I this was back during her first season of Paradise.
- 1:34Speaker 3: I thought, he always liked you a lot, and I've
- 1:38Speaker 3: always shown how much I like her during this past season.
- 1:43Speaker 2: Let's dig into this a little bit, but the science
- 1:46Speaker 2: point to it, and so we can at least tentatively
- 1:48Speaker 2: say that the relationship is not social media thriving. That's
- 1:53Speaker 2: how we'll phrase it. That's hilarious.
- 1:56Speaker 3: Yeah, I mean, and we didn't really we hate to
- 1:59Speaker 3: be judge think that this one was really going to
- 2:02Speaker 3: go places. Those are two people that have huge egos
- 2:08Speaker 3: and personalities and and and I don't mean that as
- 2:12Speaker 3: an ult.
- 2:13Speaker 2: It's a disc as a.
- 2:14Speaker 3: Huge ego, but like, I think you need to balance
- 2:16Speaker 3: somebody with a bigger ego as somebody who's a little
- 2:18Speaker 3: bit more humble.
- 2:20Speaker 2: But I will just say this, when I was with
- 2:22Speaker 2: them during Your Break, I was kind of shocked how
- 2:27Speaker 2: good they got along. It did feel like there was
- 2:30Speaker 2: a lot of no you go ahead and talk for
- 2:32Speaker 2: this one stuff, which is like never a great sign.
- 2:36Speaker 2: But I did think they had a chance at something.
- 2:40Speaker 3: Okay, I get it, and maybe they still will. Maybe
- 2:44Speaker 3: they're still working through it. Except for Shan follow him,
- 2:46Speaker 3: so probably not.
- 2:48Speaker 2: But I also will say in the same breath, if
- 2:52Speaker 2: they were to break up, it was not an like
- 2:55Speaker 2: to be a fly on the wall with that breakup. Yeah,
- 2:57Speaker 2: it was not good.
- 2:58Speaker 3: That was the hottest heated breakup ever. I don't mean
- 3:01Speaker 3: the hottest as and sexiest. I mean it was hot headed.
- 3:03Speaker 3: It could have been sexy too, you know, Yeah, they're
- 3:06Speaker 3: definitely hot.
- 3:08Speaker 2: Okay. This next headline is captivating. This story in itself
- 3:16Speaker 2: is worthy of watching hours of TikTok and Instagram four. Actually,
- 3:23Speaker 2: you are going to get an injustice here because you're
- 3:26Speaker 2: an expert and you're only going to get a few
- 3:28Speaker 2: seconds to be able to explain this. But the details
- 3:32Speaker 2: of this story are TV worthy. Here's the headline. Bachelor
- 3:38Speaker 2: alum on Yaika says she made a grave mistake of
- 3:45Speaker 2: marrying a con artist. Now, actually, we during headlines talked
- 3:51Speaker 2: about her getting married, celebrated that here, we didn't know
- 3:55Speaker 2: this guy. This headline speaks to some thing and goodness, gracious,
- 4:02Speaker 2: it's a story alrighty.
- 4:04Speaker 3: So do you guys remember last year two years ago? Oh,
- 4:07Speaker 3: my gosh, it may have been two years ago. My
- 4:09Speaker 3: mind is rocked. There was this woman that was telling
- 4:13Speaker 3: the story of her con artist's ex husband. It was
- 4:17Speaker 3: Resa Johnson and her series was so compelling. She like
- 4:23Speaker 3: five hours of TikTok content and you just had to
- 4:26Speaker 3: keep scrolling to find out what happened next. And apparently
- 4:29Speaker 3: this is kind of happening with Anyeika, who she was
- 4:32Speaker 3: on Culton season. I remember she was quite the personality. Well,
- 4:38Speaker 3: she ends up meeting her now ex Martin in twenty
- 4:43Speaker 3: twenty two, and they announced their engagement in April twenty
- 4:47Speaker 3: twenty four, and after nearly two years together, she confirmed
- 4:53Speaker 3: their breakup just this past fall, and she said, I've
- 4:56Speaker 3: canceled the weddings, multiple weddings, and Ma and I are
- 5:00Speaker 3: no longer together. I can't really put into words what's
- 5:03Speaker 3: been going on, but I'm healing a little more every day.
- 5:07Speaker 3: But this is how she kind of starts the TikTok
- 5:10Speaker 3: series out Lesson number one, don't be too trusting. Trust
- 5:15Speaker 3: should be earned and should not be given out like
- 5:18Speaker 3: free samples. It's okay to give someone the benefit of
- 5:21Speaker 3: the doubt, but what you cannot do is give someone
- 5:24Speaker 3: blind access to your resources, your life, your heart without
- 5:27Speaker 3: them showing signs of consistency. So the name of her
- 5:31Speaker 3: TikTok series is called the Danish Deception, and apparently it
- 5:37Speaker 3: is going TikTok viral And I can't wait to watch
- 5:41Speaker 3: this new viewer right here.
- 5:44Speaker 2: Here's the crazy part to me, because we're going to
- 5:46Speaker 2: get the back end story Ashley, but there's a front
- 5:50Speaker 2: and story and like a mid story that are very important,
- 5:54Speaker 2: Like they obviously were getting married, they were intimate, they
- 5:58Speaker 2: were vulnerable with each other, they had made big life
- 6:02Speaker 2: decisions together, they were talking about the future together. And
- 6:06Speaker 2: then at the back end you find out this dude
- 6:08Speaker 2: is just I mean, from what we know, like stealing
- 6:12Speaker 2: her money, stealing everything.
- 6:14Speaker 3: We need to be clear, like this is just like
- 6:17Speaker 3: Reesa's she has Right now, I want to say, okay
- 6:21Speaker 3: six times, She's got at least sixty videos up here.
- 6:27Speaker 3: It looks like sixty videos, some of which have gotten
- 6:32Speaker 3: up to eight million views, Like one video has been
- 6:36Speaker 3: up to eight million views, But the general amount of
- 6:40Speaker 3: watch each of these videos has has about six hundred thousand.
- 6:44Speaker 2: Yes, this is a big deal. I don't know if
- 6:49Speaker 2: it feels like we need to like just dive in
- 6:52Speaker 2: to hear all the before mid everything. Absolute crazy story.
- 6:57Speaker 2: This guy was stealing everything from her and and she's
- 7:00Speaker 2: left now to tell us about it. But how does
- 7:05Speaker 2: she retrieve this money? Right, there's got to be a
- 7:08Speaker 2: legal case for that. Maybe we'll see.
- 7:12Speaker 3: Well, I'm going to report back in like a week
- 7:15Speaker 3: after I watch all of it.
- 7:16Speaker 2: Yeah, dive in for us, Ashley. That sounds like something
- 7:18Speaker 2: you could do. I would never do.
- 7:20Speaker 3: Oh my gosh. Yeah, we're going to get into it
- 7:22Speaker 3: more over after the holiday, So stay tuned to this story.
- 7:37Speaker 2: Let's move into some like things other than breakups for
- 7:39Speaker 2: a bit. Bachelor Nations Serene Russell and Brendan share glimpse
- 7:45Speaker 2: into their long distance romance. Now, if you're unfamiliar, Serene
- 7:51Speaker 2: and Brendan have been dating for a while now. They
- 7:54Speaker 2: seem very happy together. It wasn't a romance has started
- 7:59Speaker 2: on our televisions, though they started outside of television. Correct.
- 8:03Speaker 3: Yeah, not to be confused with the fact that both
- 8:07Speaker 3: of them have been with other Bachelor Family members romantically
- 8:13Speaker 3: for a while. So if you remember, Serene was with Brandon,
- 8:19Speaker 3: not Brendan, a couple seasons back on Bachelor in Paradise,
- 8:24Speaker 3: and then Brendan this is Brendan Morris. You'll remember him
- 8:28Speaker 3: as being like the ultimate villain on Bachelor in Paradise.
- 8:33Speaker 3: So he was with Piper in Paradise and they had
- 8:38Speaker 3: that whole controversy because they had planned their entire relationship prior. Well,
- 8:44Speaker 3: both of those relationships went sour. The ones that were
- 8:48Speaker 3: formed on Bachelor formed quote quote on Bachelor in Paradise,
- 8:52Speaker 3: and now the two of them, this is Serene and Brenden.
- 8:57Speaker 3: They had been dating for over a year now. So
- 9:02Speaker 3: they were at US Weekly's Reality Stars of the Year
- 9:05Speaker 3: party and they say that the long distance is working
- 9:09Speaker 3: pretty well for them. Said, pretty much, since we've officially
- 9:12Speaker 3: been together, we've seen each other multiple times a month,
- 9:15Speaker 3: and they recently went on a little vacation together and
- 9:19Speaker 3: that was the And they said that the only longest
- 9:23Speaker 3: time they've ever gone without seeing each other in person
- 9:26Speaker 3: was like three or four weeks. But they FaceTime every
- 9:29Speaker 3: single day. He said that he usually gets a call
- 9:34Speaker 3: around eight in the morning. It depends on whether she's
- 9:37Speaker 3: coming to La or if she's if he's going to
- 9:40Speaker 3: go to Oklahoma City. But it's been a good balance
- 9:42Speaker 3: of going back and forth to each other's cities. And
- 9:45Speaker 3: then he also said that she's coming to Massachusetts to
- 9:48Speaker 3: meet his family very soon. And that's literally it's really
- 9:53Speaker 3: awesome for them.
- 9:53Speaker 2: I'm really happy, Ashley. We love Crystal Nielsen here podcast
- 10:00Speaker 2: and her and Miles Bowls. You know, we've kind of
- 10:04Speaker 2: walked through their baby number two journey. Now they welcome
- 10:09Speaker 2: baby number two. But I did see today on social
- 10:13Speaker 2: media that she posted, Hey, I'm sorry. I had big
- 10:16Speaker 2: plans for kind of this announcement, this post and this week,
- 10:19Speaker 2: but things didn't necessarily go according to plan on the
- 10:22Speaker 2: birth of our baby number two.
- 10:24Speaker 3: Yeah, everybody's fine and healthy now. She hasn't gotten into
- 10:29Speaker 3: what happened, but it was the birth then happened according
- 10:33Speaker 3: to what she'd hoped and planned. Miles actually got on
- 10:37Speaker 3: her social media a couple of days ago saying that like,
- 10:40Speaker 3: everyone's fine now, but it was quite the event. So
- 10:46Speaker 3: Crystal said that she's just kind of like taking some
- 10:49Speaker 3: time to heal, recovery. She said, we have a recovery
- 10:53Speaker 3: road ahead of us, but we are overwhelmed with gratitude
- 10:57Speaker 3: for the heroic doctors, nurses, and medical two games who
- 11:00Speaker 3: fought for us, and for every single prayer and message
- 11:05Speaker 3: and love from our friends and family. We're seriously so
- 11:10Speaker 3: thank like, we're so grateful that two of them are
- 11:12Speaker 3: okay and at home now. But yeah, I'm very I'm
- 11:16Speaker 3: so sorry for whatever they had to go through last week.
- 11:19Speaker 2: And we don't have a lot of information yet, but
- 11:23Speaker 2: she did say, you know, and obviously give her time,
- 11:27Speaker 2: give them time to reflect, heal and process. But we
- 11:33Speaker 2: will be telling you more as we know more. Final
- 11:37Speaker 2: headline of today is about Kitlin Bristow. Kaylin Bristow went
- 11:41Speaker 2: onto the Bobby Cast Bobby Bones's podcast, and the headline
- 11:45Speaker 2: is this, Kaitlin Bristow thinks relationship with x fiance Jason
- 11:51Speaker 2: Tartik is it weird that I forget that they were
- 11:53Speaker 2: engaged because in hindsight they're a very strange couple. Yeah,
- 11:58Speaker 2: I forgot they were ever engaged. We're just like, how
- 12:02Speaker 2: did they get there? Yeah? I don't know. There's a
- 12:05Speaker 2: lot of questions here. Caylen Bristow thinks relationship with ex
- 12:08Speaker 2: fiance Jason Tartet could be a trauma bond. Goodness, Caitlin.
- 12:15Speaker 2: We all know how much I love Kaylin, but I'm
- 12:16Speaker 2: like getting engaged to not be trauma bond. Like you
- 12:20Speaker 2: have to stop before that, Like you have to stop
- 12:23Speaker 2: before you get to this point. No, it's because they
- 12:26Speaker 2: are both on the show. So she talks about another
- 12:29Speaker 2: great reason to marry somebody.
- 12:32Speaker 3: First, she was talking about Sean and she said, I
- 12:36Speaker 3: was with him for three and a half years, and
- 12:38Speaker 3: in the contract for the Bachelorette, if you stay together
- 12:40Speaker 3: longer than two years, you get to keep the ring.
- 12:42Speaker 3: So I still have my ring for that.
- 12:45Speaker 2: Good for her, I had to give mine back.
- 12:47Speaker 3: Well, yeah, you weren't. It wasn't it was a year
- 12:49Speaker 3: and a ho was like.
- 12:50Speaker 2: One hundred and seventy five thousand dollars ring or something.
- 12:52Speaker 3: I think that they like amplify the cost of those
- 12:56Speaker 3: things when they tell us because there's no way that
- 12:58Speaker 3: was one hundred and there's absolutely no way.
- 13:01Speaker 2: But okay, well that helps me feel better because I
- 13:03Speaker 2: was like, what about another six months?
- 13:05Speaker 3: Yeah, they also say like my ring's like forty thousand.
- 13:07Speaker 3: I'm like, I'm pretty sure it is not, but like
- 13:09Speaker 3: I am grateful for it. I love my ring and
- 13:12Speaker 3: I don't want any other ring, but uh, I think
- 13:15Speaker 3: it's forty thousand. Anyway, she goes, and then I started
- 13:19Speaker 3: dating another Bachelor guy, which was in my head, I
- 13:22Speaker 3: just felt, you know, when you bond with people, it
- 13:25Speaker 3: feels great. I guess it could have been a trauma
- 13:27Speaker 3: bond and you know what other people go through, you know,
- 13:31Speaker 3: they knew what each other had gone through on the show.
- 13:34Speaker 3: And then she was like, yeah, so.
- 13:36Speaker 2: I'll just go for another bachelor guy.
- 13:37Speaker 3: Great. Uh, she's just joking with the She's throwing the
- 13:42Speaker 3: term around trauma bond here.
- 13:44Speaker 2: Yeah, I honestly, I mean I wasn't kidding, Like I
- 13:47Speaker 2: forgot that her and Jason River engaged. That's hilarious. I
- 13:50Speaker 2: had I like, it's I thought they dated and was
- 13:53Speaker 2: like serious, I forgot that.
- 13:54Speaker 3: Yeah that he like actually proposed and he did it
- 13:57Speaker 3: in the podcast room.
- 14:00Speaker 2: Know he didn't, Yeah he did.
- 14:02Speaker 3: So there are like cameras, Yeah I remember, no so
- 14:06Speaker 3: that it was on records so they could watch it
- 14:08Speaker 3: back over and over.
- 14:09Speaker 2: Yeah. You know what I hope for Caitlin what I
- 14:13Speaker 2: hope she finds the most like gentle but wonderful human
- 14:21Speaker 2: who cares about her and guides her and like loves
- 14:25Speaker 2: her for who she is, because she's amazing and in
- 14:31Speaker 2: that this like social media thing can be hers but
- 14:36Speaker 2: not necessarily has to be his. That's what I hope totally. Yeah, yeah, yeah, same,
- 14:40Speaker 2: Well I wonder if that guy's out there anyways.
- 14:46Speaker 3: We'll have more on the on Yaika story next week
- 14:50Speaker 3: and until then, guys, have a very very wonderful Thanksgiving holiday.
- 14:56Speaker 2: We'll be back. I've been Ben, I've been Ashley. Yeah.
