- 0:47Speaker 5: Good morning!
- 0:49Speaker 2: Today is Monday. It is August the 31st, the final
- 0:53Speaker 2: day of August, 2026.
- 0:54Speaker 3: Sweet. Nice.
- 0:57Speaker 2: It's all downhill from here.
- 0:58Speaker 3: Greg, you know? It sucks, man. It was June. Four
- 1:01Speaker 3: seconds ago.
- 1:01Speaker 2: Dude, September still counts, I think, as summer.
- 1:04Speaker 4: It's hot as hell!
- 1:05Speaker 3: Until, like, the 21st?
- 1:06Speaker 2: I was going to say, yeah. So, all the way to...
- 1:08Speaker 2: Three weeks. Let's just consider September. That's, like, really the
- 1:12Speaker 2: final month of... of official summer.
- 1:14Speaker 3: Okay. Right?
- 1:15Speaker 2: You're going to be okay. And silver lining, even though
- 1:19Speaker 2: it's the beginning of a brand new week, we have
- 1:23Speaker 2: a holiday weekend coming up. So Labor Day, three-day weekend.
- 1:27Speaker 3: Rip. There's a lot to rip off. You should be
- 1:29Speaker 3: excited about it. And Greg, it's payday. Oh, that's right.
- 1:32Speaker 3: I'm ripping over that. Yeah, you're right. Today's payday.
- 1:34Speaker 5: Oh, look at that.
- 1:35Speaker 3: So much to be happy about. So much.
- 1:38Speaker 2: Thank you for being here. We are The Woody Show. Woody, Greg, Menace,
- 1:40Speaker 2: Gina Grant. We got Seabass. There's Sammy.
- 1:43Speaker 5: Hello.
- 1:43Speaker 3: Jeff G. is here.
- 1:45Speaker 2: Morgan is our associate producer. Vaughn, our video producer. Dumbass
- 1:48Speaker 2: Tyler is here. We got Bort. We got Menji. Phones
- 1:51Speaker 2: are open. 877-44-WOODY. You can send us a text. Check
- 1:55Speaker 2: in over to 22987. Today, August 31st, is International Day
- 2:02Speaker 2: for People of African Descent. So Menace, congratulations. And me too.
- 2:08Speaker 2: Today is International Overdose Awareness Day. So just be aware
- 2:11Speaker 2: of it.
- 2:12Speaker 5: Bring your Narcan can with you.
- 2:13Speaker 3: Don't do it.
- 2:14Speaker 2: Today is Eat Outside Day.
- 2:16Speaker 5: Love it. Love a picnic.
- 2:17Speaker 3: Hate it.
- 2:18Speaker 2: It's Love Litigating Lawyers Day.
- 2:20Speaker 5: I don't know about that.
- 2:21Speaker 2: So are we talking about we're supposed to love litigating lawyers?
- 2:24Speaker 2: Are we supposed to like enjoy... litigating a lawyer.
- 2:28Speaker 5: No, I think it's the first one.
- 2:29Speaker 3: Like suing a lawyer or something.
- 2:30Speaker 5: Oh, I just love lawyers.
- 2:32Speaker 2: National Zoo Awareness Day.
- 2:34Speaker 5: I'm aware.
- 2:34Speaker 3: Shout out to zoos.
- 2:38Speaker 2: Yep.
- 2:38Speaker 3: Shout out to zoos.
- 2:40Speaker 4: Love a good zoo.
- 2:41Speaker 2: It's National Matchmaker Day and today is National Trail Mix Day.
- 2:46Speaker 2: Is there a difference between trail mix and gorp?
- 2:48Speaker 5: I think that is gorp.
- 2:49Speaker 2: Because I think outdoors people, they like to say gorp.
- 2:53Speaker 2: They don't say trail mix.
- 2:54Speaker 5: Because it's granola.
- 2:55Speaker 3: Good old raisins and peanuts.
- 2:56Speaker 5: Oh, is that what it means?
- 2:57Speaker 3: Oh, okay. Oh, I thought it was granola something, raisins
- 3:01Speaker 3: and peanuts. I've never heard of gorp in my life.
- 3:04Speaker 3: Me neither.
- 3:04Speaker 2: Yeah, so when I was stuck in all these outdoorsy places,
- 3:07Speaker 2: you know, like the intervention program, the stupid boarding schools
- 3:10Speaker 2: and stuff.
- 3:10Speaker 3: So hippy-dippy.
- 3:11Speaker 2: Yeah, like, oh, well, everybody gets a little small bag
- 3:14Speaker 2: of GORP.
- 3:14Speaker 5: And I hate GORP.
- 3:15Speaker 2: I'm like, what the hell is GORP?
- 3:17Speaker 3: I would agree.
- 3:17Speaker 5: I've never heard that. And you guys are both sort
- 3:19Speaker 5: of correct. According to the old REI, granola oats, raisins,
- 3:23Speaker 5: and peanuts is one way people have spun it. But
- 3:26Speaker 5: they're saying the first reference was 1913. And GORPing was
- 3:31Speaker 5: just eating greedily. And it says good.
- 3:34Speaker 6: Old raisins and peanuts. And when it says granola oats,
- 3:37Speaker 6: raisins and peanuts aren't oats in.
- 3:38Speaker 2: That's granola.
- 3:39Speaker 7: Granola.
- 3:39Speaker 2: Yeah, that sounds like- Revisionist history. That sounds like man
- 3:42Speaker 2: who was a redundant man.
- 3:43Speaker 5: Exactly.
- 3:44Speaker 3: I don't know.
- 3:46Speaker 2: So Rockstar Games- You know, the recent leaks. Have you
- 3:49Speaker 2: seen some of the leaks about Grand Theft Auto 6?
- 3:51Speaker 3: Yeah. People are going crazy. Yeah.
- 3:54Speaker 2: And so they said most of the leaked video has
- 3:56Speaker 2: been pulled from obvious sources. But, I mean, that's the Internet,
- 3:59Speaker 2: so it lives forever.
- 4:00Speaker 5: Right.
- 4:01Speaker 2: But Rockstar said the leaks are heartbreaking for our team. Heartbreaking.
- 4:05Speaker 3: So that's how you know these are at least real. Yeah.
- 4:07Speaker 2: So they said this wasn't how fans were supposed to
- 4:10Speaker 2: see the game after.
- 4:11Speaker 3: All this time.
- 4:12Speaker 4: Yeah, we wanted to have our own presentation.
- 4:14Speaker 2: And while some spoilers may have been revealed, Rockstar is
- 4:18Speaker 2: planning an official extended look at the game and the gameplay.
- 4:22Speaker 2: And the official release date, of course, is November 19th,
- 4:25Speaker 2: which they say the economy will grind to a halt.
- 4:28Speaker 3: Right, Menace?
- 4:29Speaker 4: Yeah, it's going to change the landscape, they say. Like,
- 4:32Speaker 4: you know, you're going to see delivery food apps, like, explode.
- 4:37Speaker 4: So maybe, not financial advice, buy a couple pairs of
- 4:41Speaker 4: stock in some of these.
- 4:42Speaker 3: Couple pairs. Couple pairs.
- 4:44Speaker 2: Are you okay to buy four stocks?
- 4:46Speaker 4: Every time I try to keep my Invisalign in, it
- 4:48Speaker 4: just gets even worse.
- 4:49Speaker 3: Oh, babe.
- 4:50Speaker 2: Is that a worldwide release, November 19th?
- 4:52Speaker 3: So, like, Europe?
- 4:53Speaker 5: Because I know this is a huge worldwide thing.
- 4:55Speaker 3: See, that I don't know.
- 4:55Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 4:56Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 4:58Speaker 2: According to one of the leaks, which I'm assuming is
- 4:59Speaker 2: true because they're coming out and acknowledging the leaks, is
- 5:02Speaker 2: that in GTA 6, and I don't want to do this,
- 5:04Speaker 2: you're going to have to stop to refuel.
- 5:06Speaker 8: Oh.
- 5:07Speaker 2: So you're driving the cars around?
- 5:08Speaker 3: I could do that.
- 5:09Speaker 5: I could stop at the grocery store.
- 5:11Speaker 2: That's got to be a thing that you could toggle
- 5:12Speaker 2: on and off though, right? That's hilarious. Like if you're
- 5:14Speaker 2: not interested. Like I would love to be able to
- 5:16Speaker 2: toggle off fuel. Let's just say that was required. Toggle
- 5:19Speaker 2: that off. Toggle having to reload ammo.
- 5:22Speaker 1: Oh, yeah.
- 5:22Speaker 2: Toggle health.
- 5:24Speaker 5: What are you, God? Yes.
- 5:26Speaker 2: I just want to be able to run around and
- 5:27Speaker 2: create havoc.
- 5:28Speaker 3: Forever. Walk up to Randall's and punch him.
- 5:30Speaker 2: I don't think I've ever gone through and have done
- 5:32Speaker 2: the story of a Grand Theft Auto. I think I've
- 5:34Speaker 2: just done like kamikaze kind of stuff.
- 5:36Speaker 3: Yeah, totally.
- 5:37Speaker 2: I'm just running around carjacking people. Yeah, beating up hookers
- 5:40Speaker 2: and taking my money back.
- 5:41Speaker 5: I think they're going for hyper realism because I saw
- 5:43Speaker 5: some of these leaks that are like inside nightclubs and
- 5:46Speaker 5: you cannot see anything.
- 5:47Speaker 8: Oh, man.
- 5:48Speaker 3: So it's like ultra realistic.
- 5:49Speaker 2: Yeah, some fans love it. Others think this could get annoying.
- 5:53Speaker 2: And also, how realistic will the mileage be? So if
- 5:58Speaker 2: you're in this super high-performance car.
- 5:59Speaker 3: I mean, if you steal a car that's already full,
- 6:01Speaker 3: you should be good for several hours, right? There's a
- 6:05Speaker 3: really good thing on Netflix right now.
- 6:06Speaker 9: It's like in-game footage, and it's like 27 minutes long
- 6:11Speaker 9: of all the stuff at GTA.
- 6:12Speaker 2: It gives you a really good look at it. If
- 6:13Speaker 2: you haven't seen it yet, it's very much worth watching. Yeah,
- 6:16Speaker 2: there was this one, quote, influencer. I guess they reached
- 6:19Speaker 2: out to him. They said, hey, man, do you want
- 6:20Speaker 2: to be one of these non-playable characters on the new
- 6:23Speaker 2: Grand Theft?
- 6:24Speaker 3: He's like, yeah.
- 6:25Speaker 2: And they totally made him gay. They put him like
- 6:29Speaker 2: in a rainbow shirt or something like that, which I
- 6:32Speaker 2: guess they're pretty notorious for. And so he's like, well,
- 6:35Speaker 2: I wasn't exactly sure how I was going to be portrayed.
- 6:37Speaker 5: So it's still awesome.
- 6:38Speaker 3: Whatever, you're a cartoon.
- 6:39Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 6:40Speaker 3: Now, who knows?
- 6:41Speaker 2: I mean, maybe we've all been duped. I'm not going
- 6:44Speaker 2: to mention the guy's name just in case, but I
- 6:47Speaker 2: thought that was kind of funny.
- 6:49Speaker 5: I saw that and I was like, because he showed
- 6:51Speaker 5: like a real, supposedly real ABC New York profile on
- 6:55Speaker 5: him being a gay prostitute. Like ABC New York would
- 6:57Speaker 5: not do a.
- 6:57Speaker 3: Profile on a gay prostitute.
- 6:58Speaker 2: Yeah, they're not going to do a hit piece. Yeah,
- 7:00Speaker 2: or yeah, on just some like regular influencer.
- 7:02Speaker 3: Right.
- 7:03Speaker 2: Yeah, but I did read something about all the non-playable characters.
- 7:06Speaker 2: I mean, they went into such... they've had a billion
- 7:09Speaker 2: years to get this thing together. So they've gone into, like,
- 7:11Speaker 2: so much detail on all these other things that they
- 7:13Speaker 2: didn't really do that with the other games, which is
- 7:16Speaker 2: why this one's going to be like nothing else. Even
- 7:18Speaker 2: that stuff of being able to go into, like, every
- 7:20Speaker 2: building you see, be able to walk into the building and.
- 7:22Speaker 3: And actually move around.
- 7:24Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 7:24Speaker 3: That's crazy. Yeah, exactly. That's so weird.
- 7:26Speaker 2: Yeah, pretty cool. You know what else is kind of funny?
- 7:28Speaker 3: When the people do.
- 7:29Speaker 2: videos where it makes it look they're doing it's all
- 7:32Speaker 2: live action but how characters move in the games like
- 7:36Speaker 2: how they run and they have other everybody else acting
- 7:39Speaker 2: around them and acting out like gameplay of a grand
- 7:42Speaker 2: theft auto it's pretty funny oh i gotta see that
- 7:46Speaker 2: let's say you're running in the game right greg and
- 7:48Speaker 2: you get to a wall and the guy is still
- 7:49Speaker 2: doing the running motion and people are recreating that yeah
- 7:52Speaker 2: exactly and when they turn the way they swing what
- 7:56Speaker 2: That's hilarious.
- 7:56Speaker 3: Yeah, it's pretty funny, man. I'll watch that today.
- 7:59Speaker 2: 877-44-WOODY is the phone number.
- 8:01Speaker 3: Send us a text.
- 8:03Speaker 2: Over to 229-87... It's time for your birthdays. I'm not
- 8:07Speaker 2: sure how old the gerbil is, but Richard Gere is
- 8:11Speaker 2: 77 years old today. That was one of those, like,
- 8:13Speaker 2: that's a classic urban legend.
- 8:14Speaker 3: Classic on the playground, yeah.
- 8:16Speaker 2: Richard Gere is 77.
- 8:17Speaker 3: Chris Tucker....
- 8:32Speaker 2: Is 55. Sarah Ramirez, she was in Grey's Anatomy, The Sitter,
- 8:36Speaker 2: Sex and the City. 51 years old. She was like,
- 8:39Speaker 2: I forget her name. Was it Cassie or something? She
- 8:42Speaker 2: was a lesbian in Grey's Anatomy.
- 8:43Speaker 5: Well, she was super butch on Just Like That.
- 8:47Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 8:49Speaker 5: What's her name?
- 8:50Speaker 2: Sarah Ramirez.
- 8:51Speaker 10: And she was the cashier in, is it You've Got Mail?
- 8:55Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 8:56Speaker 3: Oh, right.
- 8:56Speaker 8: Yeah. Yeah.
- 8:58Speaker 5: Quite a career.
- 8:59Speaker 3: She got hardcore, Leslie. She was Dr.
- 9:01Speaker 5: Callie Torres.
- 9:02Speaker 8: Callie, see?
- 9:03Speaker 3: Oh, babe.
- 9:04Speaker 2: Professional wrestler, musician from the WWE. Jeff Hardy is 49. Musician.
- 9:09Speaker 3: Nice.
- 9:10Speaker 2: I guess so. Jalen Brunson from the Knicks is 30.
- 9:13Speaker 2: And you got Debbie Gibson. Remember Debbie Gibson?
- 9:18Speaker 3: She's 56.
- 9:18Speaker 2: And then you got Marsha Clark, the prosecutor from the
- 9:23Speaker 2: OJ Simpson trial. I thought she was dead.
- 9:25Speaker 8: No.
- 9:26Speaker 2: I think, isn't Christopher Darden?
- 9:28Speaker 4: Yeah, he died.
- 9:29Speaker 3: He did? Yeah, he did. Yeah, I thought he died, right? Uh-huh.
- 9:33Speaker 8: Thanks.
- 9:34Speaker 3: He died.
- 9:34Speaker 2: Christopher Darden, one of the lawyers.
- 9:37Speaker 3: No, he's 70. He's never dead, right?
- 9:39Speaker 8: No.
- 9:40Speaker 2: I thought he died.
- 9:41Speaker 3: Who just reached?
- 9:41Speaker 2: There was somebody who just.
- 9:42Speaker 3: Was it Judge Ito, maybe? I know Ito's died for sure. Yeah,
- 9:45Speaker 3: Judge Ito. There was somebody.
- 9:46Speaker 2: I know that one.
- 9:47Speaker 3: Oh, OJ died.
- 9:47Speaker 4: Yeah, he's dead.
- 9:48Speaker 1: OJ died.
- 9:48Speaker 3: Yeah, I know OJ died. Judge Ito's dead. Kardashian's dead.
- 9:51Speaker 5: Kardashian, yeah.
- 9:51Speaker 3: Kardashian died.
- 9:52Speaker 5: Mark Furman, which Sammy hates.
- 9:54Speaker 2: Oh, Mark Furman. That's who I'm thinking of. Don't get
- 9:56Speaker 2: them mixed up. That was somewhat recently, though, right?
- 9:58Speaker 5: Yeah, that's why Sammy was wearing the black armband.
- 10:00Speaker 2: Marsha Clark, 73 years old today. And then your porno
- 10:03Speaker 2: birthday is Jasmine Jay. And today's birthday girl, she's been
- 10:06Speaker 2: plowed more than a crop farm. 935 fine films, including
- 10:09Speaker 2: Filthy and Milfy. She was in Built for Anal, Volume 1.
- 10:16Speaker 3: Made for it.
- 10:18Speaker 2: Used Whoreholes, Volumes 1 and 2.
- 10:20Speaker 3: Oh, my God.
- 10:21Speaker 2: She was in You Know Your Mom Does Anal, right?
- 10:23Speaker 2: She was in Foot Fetish by the Fire. Cream Filling
- 10:28Speaker 2: for the Void, Volume 1.
- 10:29Speaker 3: Ew.
- 10:30Speaker 2: And then Who Can Forget Her Unforgettable Role in Saving
- 10:32Speaker 2: My Vagina for Marriage, But That Ass Is Yours.
- 10:34Speaker 3: Ha, ha, ha.
- 10:37Speaker 5: I knew so many girls like that in college, I
- 10:39Speaker 5: can't even tell you. Yeah, I bet.
- 10:41Speaker 2: I'm going to save this for my man.
- 10:43Speaker 3: Yes.
- 10:43Speaker 2: My future husband. God. My butt's all yours, though.
- 10:46Speaker 5: I heard that a dozen times.
- 10:47Speaker 2: I don't know why that would, you would think it
- 10:50Speaker 2: would be, I don't know.
- 10:50Speaker 5: I think it would be the other way around.
- 10:52Speaker 2: Exactly.
- 10:52Speaker 3: So much more work.
- 10:54Speaker 2: Jasmine Jay is 45 years old today. And that's your
- 10:57Speaker 2: porno birthday, your celebrity birthdays, and that's your Monday birthdays
- 11:02Speaker 2: here on The Woody Show.
- 11:05Speaker 3: All right. Another new hour.
- 11:10Speaker 2: Cheers and jeers. We'll start with you, Gina Grad. Yeah.
- 11:13Speaker 6: My cheers is to, like, good, productive neighborhood gossip. I
- 11:18Speaker 6: can't believe how nice my neighbors are.
- 11:20Speaker 3: Productive gossip.
- 11:21Speaker 5: Productive gossip.
- 11:23Speaker 6: So one of the teenagers on our street is going
- 11:26Speaker 6: to watch Pip when we're out of town next month for, like,
- 11:28Speaker 6: the weekend.
- 11:28Speaker 3: That's Gina's dog.
- 11:29Speaker 6: Pip, the little cotone, the clitoris dog, as Menace calls it. And,
- 11:33Speaker 6: but she can't be there all day one of the days.
- 11:36Speaker 6: So she texted me and said her mom will watch
- 11:38Speaker 6: the dog. And I was like, oh, that's nice.
- 11:39Speaker 5: Thank you. That's so nice.
- 11:40Speaker 6: So I'm walking little Pip and this woman who I
- 11:45Speaker 6: kind of know, you know, the dogs are, you know,
- 11:48Speaker 6: sniffing each other. And we talked for a minute.
- 11:50Speaker 5: She goes, oh, I heard that she wasn't going to
- 11:53Speaker 5: be able to watch your dog all day, but that
- 11:55Speaker 5: her mom was going to do it. But do you
- 11:56Speaker 5: need me? I can do it. Yeah, I heard about that.
- 12:00Speaker 6: Like you heard that my dog was going to need
- 12:03Speaker 6: a sitter at their mom.
- 12:04Speaker 8: Okay.
- 12:04Speaker 5: I was like, no, no, we're good. Thank you. But
- 12:06Speaker 5: like just a random neighbor on a walk saying, oh,
- 12:08Speaker 5: I heard you might need a dog sitter.
- 12:10Speaker 3: Everybody talks.
- 12:12Speaker 5: It's crazy.
- 12:13Speaker 3: Something that mundane.
- 12:14Speaker 2: Yeah. That's how you know life is good.
- 12:16Speaker 3: Oh my God. I've never.
- 12:18Speaker 2: You live in a nice neighborhood. Things are good when
- 12:21Speaker 2: this is the.
- 12:21Speaker 5: Talk of the neighborhood. I've never in, even as a child,
- 12:25Speaker 5: I never lived in a neighborhood this nice. This is Pleasantville.
- 12:27Speaker 5: I'm obsessed. It's amazing.
- 12:30Speaker 6: Cheers to mother effing fantasy football. Look, it doesn't affect
- 12:36Speaker 6: my life usually. I've never done it. I don't know how.
- 12:39Speaker 6: But somebody invited my kid to do a kid's fantasy
- 12:42Speaker 6: football league. And somehow I got roped into setting it up,
- 12:46Speaker 6: trying to figure out his account. Trying to help him,
- 12:49Speaker 6: you know, change his name to some dumb crap that I.
- 12:52Speaker 2: Don't even know what it means.
- 12:53Speaker 3: Oh, what's the name?
- 12:53Speaker 5: What's the team name? Okay, ready for this?
- 12:55Speaker 2: That's the big thing.
- 12:56Speaker 6: It doesn't even make any sense.
- 12:57Speaker 2: Is he still part of, like, the kids in the
- 12:59Speaker 2: neighborhood on the bicycles? They have a little, like, bicycle gang.
- 13:02Speaker 2: It's the Puking Scorpions, they've named themselves.
- 13:04Speaker 5: And the Puking Scorpions are now doing Fantasy Football League.
- 13:07Speaker 8: Oh.
- 13:07Speaker 5: And it's called, like, Low-Key Legit Nakuwat.
- 13:12Speaker 3: Nakuwat.
- 13:13Speaker 2: Because he loves.
- 13:14Speaker 5: Okay, let me explain.
- 13:15Speaker 2: I don't... What is Nakawat?
- 13:18Speaker 5: Well, Nakawat is the, you know, what's his name? Puanakua.
- 13:21Speaker 5: And then Nakawat is Kumquat, which I don't think he's
- 13:23Speaker 5: ever had. So I don't know.
- 13:25Speaker 3: A fruit. Which would be a really fun name.
- 13:27Speaker 5: Yeah, it's great. So I have to figure out how
- 13:29Speaker 5: to set this up. And I don't know how to play.
- 13:31Speaker 5: I don't know what a trade is. I don't know
- 13:32Speaker 5: any of this. So good luck to me.
- 13:34Speaker 3: Well, this is the thing.
- 13:35Speaker 2: Okay, so my wife and I, I've tried to argue
- 13:37Speaker 2: about this for years. Like, there's some stuff that's boy
- 13:40Speaker 2: and guy stuff. There's other stuff that's daughter and girl stuff.
- 13:43Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 13:44Speaker 2: The line is very clear, and when one crosses over
- 13:47Speaker 2: to the other, this is Andy's domain.
- 13:50Speaker 5: Andy was on a phone call.
- 13:51Speaker 2: He'll eventually be off the call.
- 13:53Speaker 4: And he can help you.
- 13:55Speaker 2: It's not something that's got to be done right in
- 13:57Speaker 2: that second, but that is the dad responsibility. You know,
- 14:01Speaker 2: if my daughter has questions about stuff that's girl stuff
- 14:03Speaker 2: or whatever, that's my wife's thing. I mean, I'm here
- 14:06Speaker 2: to be loving and supportive. But at the same time,
- 14:08Speaker 2: we all have our areas of expertise.
- 14:10Speaker 5: This ain't mine.
- 14:11Speaker 3: Yeah, that's what you tell them. That's what you tell them. Hey,
- 14:13Speaker 3: I know nothing about this. I'm of no help to you.
- 14:14Speaker 4: You like sports.
- 14:16Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, exactly.
- 14:17Speaker 5: So good luck to me.
- 14:18Speaker 2: Morgan, cheers and jeers.
- 14:19Speaker 7: Okay, cheers to Dajon Labre Love. Have you guys heard
- 14:23Speaker 7: his name yet?
- 14:25Speaker 3: Yes.
- 14:25Speaker 5: Sounds familiar.
- 14:26Speaker 7: He is the fake NFL player that scammed like 26
- 14:30Speaker 7: girls out of millions of dollars.
- 14:32Speaker 3: I didn't know what his name was. I've heard the story.
- 14:34Speaker 5: Yeah, it's blew up over the weekend.
- 14:35Speaker 3: Dajon Love.
- 14:36Speaker 5: So my cheers goes to him because, I mean, not
- 14:39Speaker 5: his reality, right? He just created his.
- 14:42Speaker 7: Own reality and he convinced 20, probably more than 20
- 14:45Speaker 7: girls to send them money and like these girls are
- 14:47Speaker 7: going back on social media now like, One of the
- 14:50Speaker 7: girls that went out with him, she tweeted, she went,
- 14:52Speaker 7: went from a dating these little baby boys to on
- 14:54Speaker 7: a date with an NFL player. And like now these
- 14:57Speaker 7: girls have to go back and delete those tweets because
- 14:59Speaker 7: they got played so hard.
- 15:01Speaker 4: Dude, his videos are hilarious because he holds like carry
- 15:04Speaker 4: around a 49ers helmet. and just like make random ass
- 15:08Speaker 4: videos like on the beach like he's you know training
- 15:11Speaker 4: because that's what real players do.
- 15:14Speaker 9: And he's so skinny that's the funniest part he's like
- 15:16Speaker 9: super thin and if you know anything about football you're
- 15:19Speaker 9: not that thin playing in the NFL he's.
- 15:21Speaker 7: So bad And none of these girls looked up a
- 15:23Speaker 7: roster to see he's not on any team.
- 15:26Speaker 3: Yeah, anything.
- 15:27Speaker 7: So they deserve to get played. And cheers to him
- 15:29Speaker 7: because he had a good run.
- 15:30Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 15:31Speaker 7: Cheers, though, because this guy's name came out. Now there's
- 15:34Speaker 7: another one that came out.
- 15:35Speaker 3: Oh, yeah.
- 15:35Speaker 5: About him.
- 15:36Speaker 1: Yep.
- 15:36Speaker 4: The Dallas one, right?
- 15:38Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 15:38Speaker 7: I want to say his name, right?
- 15:39Speaker 5: Let's see. Uris Agui, the fourth.
- 15:42Speaker 7: I believe he faked a Cowboys player, but instead of
- 15:47Speaker 7: scamming women, he was like signing balls and stuff and
- 15:50Speaker 7: giving them to kids with cancer.
- 15:51Speaker 3: Oh, man. Oh, my God.
- 15:54Speaker 5: My cheers goes to that guy because he wasn't.
- 15:57Speaker 7: Playing the game as fun.
- 15:58Speaker 5: It's a fine line for Morgan.
- 15:59Speaker 8: Right.
- 16:00Speaker 2: But at the same time, probably made some kid with
- 16:01Speaker 2: cancer feel really cool for five minutes. So that could
- 16:04Speaker 2: almost be the cheer.
- 16:05Speaker 3: Don't tell the kids.
- 16:06Speaker 7: And he had done the same thing, posted all these
- 16:08Speaker 7: cowboys things, you know, in nice cars, all these videos
- 16:11Speaker 7: on YouTube.
- 16:12Speaker 2: But I guess it's all, look, it's all the same, right?
- 16:14Speaker 2: Like the one guy. Not to Morgan.
- 16:15Speaker 5: No, no.
- 16:16Speaker 2: The first guy. the guy who was pretending to be
- 16:18Speaker 2: the 49ers guy trying to date chicks, he was making
- 16:21Speaker 2: these women feel good about themselves. Like, oh, I landed
- 16:22Speaker 2: this NFL guy.
- 16:23Speaker 9: Oh, yeah.
- 16:24Speaker 3: They were tweeting about it. And then this other guy that.
- 16:25Speaker 2: Got the jeers was making kids with cancer feel good,
- 16:28Speaker 2: and he's a jeer?
- 16:29Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 16:30Speaker 3: Grown women get duped. That's a cheer, right?
- 16:33Speaker 2: But these kids, they feel better about themselves who are
- 16:37Speaker 2: going through something really difficult.
- 16:38Speaker 5: Solid point.
- 16:39Speaker 2: That's a bad thing?
- 16:40Speaker 5: I think it's different victims.
- 16:41Speaker 7: Like the girls that are out there specifically to go
- 16:44Speaker 7: take men's money, if you don't check a roster, maybe
- 16:47Speaker 7: you deserve to get.
- 16:48Speaker 5: But he took their money.
- 16:50Speaker 11: Like he defrauded them.
- 16:51Speaker 7: That's another red flag of, I shouldn't be dating this
- 16:54Speaker 7: multimillionaire that wants my money.
- 16:56Speaker 4: Also, if you watch the social media videos, like it
- 16:59Speaker 4: is on them because he's such a cornball and like
- 17:02Speaker 4: every single one.
- 17:03Speaker 5: Yeah. So cheers to him. He deserves it. Oh my God.
- 17:06Speaker 2: Sammy, cheers and jeers.
- 17:08Speaker 10: Well, my cheers is to you guys. I just became
- 17:11Speaker 10: an AMC MoviePass member.
- 17:13Speaker 11: Congratulations. Thank you. I'm pretty excited about it.
- 17:19Speaker 10: It's like 30 bucks a month and you can see
- 17:21Speaker 10: four movies a week.
- 17:23Speaker 11: A week?
- 17:25Speaker 1: Yes.
- 17:25Speaker 11: And so it's pretty crazy. And I was just going
- 17:28Speaker 11: to see one movie. I went and saw Spider-Man. Cheers
- 17:30Speaker 11: to that, too. It was pretty great.
- 17:32Speaker 10: And it was going to be $ 30.
- 17:34Speaker 11: To see that one movie.
- 17:35Speaker 10: So I just became a past member because I'm also
- 17:38Speaker 10: going to need to see Practical Magic 2 soon.
- 17:41Speaker 1: Done.
- 17:41Speaker 5: Multiple times.
- 17:42Speaker 11: So it made sense. And now I'm like, will I
- 17:44Speaker 11: become a movie person and just start going to the.
- 17:46Speaker 5: Movies all the time?
- 17:47Speaker 2: Here's my question with that AMC. You know, you're mentioning that.
- 17:51Speaker 2: It's $ 30 to go see Spider-Man.
- 17:53Speaker 8: Yes. Right.
- 17:53Speaker 2: And that counts toward the box office tally.
- 17:57Speaker 3: Right.
- 17:57Speaker 2: So all these people have AMC movie passes. Do they
- 18:00Speaker 2: just like credit like it made X number of dollars
- 18:03Speaker 2: this weekend? Do they just credit like if you're an
- 18:06Speaker 2: AMC member what it would have cost?
- 18:08Speaker 5: Oh, I don't know.
- 18:10Speaker 2: Like is how do they know that's what you have
- 18:12Speaker 2: an AMC? You could have gone and seen anything.
- 18:14Speaker 3: Right.
- 18:15Speaker 2: I guess that could have got it applied to any
- 18:17Speaker 2: of those movies. I guess that would be the way
- 18:19Speaker 2: it works.
- 18:20Speaker 5: But it didn't make that money.
- 18:22Speaker 8: So.
- 18:22Speaker 3: But it. It did because... It would.
- 18:25Speaker 10: Count towards the count, like number of people, but yeah,
- 18:27Speaker 10: towards the amount of money the movie made.
- 18:30Speaker 5: I don't know how that works.
- 18:31Speaker 2: Yeah, because it's only 30 bucks a month and it
- 18:32Speaker 2: gets you four movies.
- 18:33Speaker 5: Right.
- 18:35Speaker 8: Hmm.
- 18:35Speaker 5: That's a good question.
- 18:36Speaker 3: Somebody's paying for it. Right.
- 18:37Speaker 2: I'm saying like, so this is just like the... It's
- 18:40Speaker 2: a guess. I'm wondering from an accounting standpoint, like how
- 18:43Speaker 2: they figured that out.
- 18:43Speaker 3: I just had such a high thought. How on a
- 18:47Speaker 3: Monday does a box office, the box office, calculate this
- 18:52Speaker 3: stuff From the two days prior to that. Shouldn't we
- 18:55Speaker 3: put them in charge of elections and everything else? Yeah.
- 18:59Speaker 2: Well, those box office numbers, those come out like on
- 19:02Speaker 2: a Sunday.
- 19:02Speaker 3: Oh, they do?
- 19:03Speaker 2: During the day on Sunday, they'll say, here's who won
- 19:06Speaker 2: the weekend with how much money.
- 19:07Speaker 3: And it's an estimate. How do they do that so fast? Yeah, projections.
- 19:09Speaker 3: So projection is an estimate. That's interesting.
- 19:11Speaker 4: Yeah, but do you get the special line, Sammy?
- 19:13Speaker 5: I do. Wow.
- 19:15Speaker 10: Yes, I went to get popcorn and a drink, and
- 19:17Speaker 10: I waited in the special.
- 19:18Speaker 11: Line for only the cardholders, whatever. I'm pretty exclusive VIP. So-
- 19:23Speaker 11: My jeers, though, goes to the freaking animals. I have
- 19:28Speaker 11: a dog. Steamboat Willie has a cat.
- 19:30Speaker 10: And now that they are together, they work off of
- 19:33Speaker 10: each other to beg for treats all day long because
- 19:38Speaker 10: they've both kind of had their own schedule of when
- 19:40Speaker 10: they get treats or whatever.
- 19:41Speaker 11: And now they realize if this one's getting a treat,
- 19:44Speaker 11: I want a treat, too. I have this cat meowing
- 19:46Speaker 11: at all hours of the day for treats.
- 19:49Speaker 1: And I.
- 19:50Speaker 11: Am so tired of it.
- 19:51Speaker 10: I don't know when they started running the house and
- 19:53Speaker 10: decided they get treats all day long.
- 19:55Speaker 3: Well, they figured it out.
- 19:55Speaker 5: They're begging for that all the time.
- 19:57Speaker 2: Like you ever see the people that get their dogs,
- 19:59Speaker 2: they have those like buttons on the floor and they
- 20:01Speaker 2: get the dogs to communicate through like pushing the different buttons.
- 20:05Speaker 2: I wonder if that's even real. But, you know, they
- 20:08Speaker 2: they're smart enough to figure stuff out. Like they're smart
- 20:10Speaker 2: enough to be able to signal when they want to
- 20:11Speaker 2: go out or signal when they.
- 20:13Speaker 5: Have nothing else to do all day.
- 20:15Speaker 1: Right.
- 20:16Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 20:16Speaker 11: But it just didn't used to be like this.
- 20:19Speaker 3: Accidentally leave the front door open.
- 20:21Speaker 8: Oh, no.
- 20:21Speaker 3: The cat will wander away.
- 20:23Speaker 2: My dog knows that when I get home, I give
- 20:26Speaker 2: her pets and kisses. And then typically that's when I'll
- 20:29Speaker 2: go into the refrigerator and. And the deli section at
- 20:32Speaker 2: the grocery store, they sell the little package of pulled
- 20:34Speaker 2: chicken from the leftover rotisserie chickens and stuff. And so
- 20:39Speaker 2: I buy one of those every week for her. We
- 20:42Speaker 2: call it dog chicken. And the people, it's funny, the
- 20:45Speaker 2: people at the checkout know what you're doing. They go,
- 20:47Speaker 2: for you or for your dog?
- 20:48Speaker 3: I go, dog.
- 20:50Speaker 2: Really?
- 20:50Speaker 3: Yeah, they know.
- 20:51Speaker 2: I guess a lot of people buy that for their dog.
- 20:53Speaker 3: That's her treat. I do. Yeah. So when I get home,
- 20:56Speaker 3: that's her treat.
- 20:57Speaker 2: She now expects it. So as soon as I walk
- 21:00Speaker 2: in the door, it could be from going outside to
- 21:02Speaker 2: do something in the yard. It could be from taking
- 21:04Speaker 2: the garbage cans out or going out to the store,
- 21:07Speaker 2: coming home from work. It doesn't matter. She will sit
- 21:09Speaker 2: by the fridge, look at it, look at me, bark.
- 21:12Speaker 2: Look at the fridge, look at me, bark.
- 21:14Speaker 5: Just so you get the message.
- 21:15Speaker 3: I got a cracker of this. Because she's irresistible. You're like,
- 21:18Speaker 3: I'm going to give in. I know. Here's your dog chicken.
- 21:21Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 21:21Speaker 3: I mean, we share. Yeah.
- 21:25Speaker 8: Aw.
- 21:26Speaker 2: If I'm making myself a sandwich, I'll grab an extra
- 21:29Speaker 2: piece of bread and tear it up and give that
- 21:32Speaker 2: to her. If I'm having a turkey sandwich, she's having
- 21:34Speaker 2: a turkey sandwich. So I'll give her a couple pieces
- 21:37Speaker 2: of turkey.
- 21:37Speaker 5: But you don't give her a bite from your sandwich.
- 21:39Speaker 2: No.
- 21:39Speaker 5: I wouldn't either.
- 21:40Speaker 3: No, no, no. The so-called experts say that when dogs
- 21:42Speaker 3: see you making food, they feel like they're part of
- 21:45Speaker 3: it and that they helped. Right. Yeah.
- 21:47Speaker 5: So you're supposed to give them some.
- 21:48Speaker 2: Want me to grab that mayo?
- 21:51Speaker 3: Hey, I helped her.
- 21:51Speaker 2: My wife will look at me and she'll roll her
- 21:53Speaker 2: eyes because I'll go, hey, babe, you ready for your lunch?
- 21:56Speaker 2: Let's have our lunch. And she's like, our lunch?
- 21:59Speaker 3: I go, yeah. Because when I'm having lunch, she's having lunch. Yeah.
- 22:02Speaker 5: We're dating. Didn't you get the message?
- 22:04Speaker 2: Go away.
- 22:04Speaker 3: Nobody invited you. That's my girl. Yeah.
- 22:10Speaker 2: All right, Judy Graz got the trending news headlines.
- 22:14Speaker 6: A giant search is happening at the Grand Canyon after
- 22:16Speaker 6: that flash flood over the weekend. One person now confirmed
- 22:19Speaker 6: dead and about 15 others are still missing or unaccounted for.
- 22:22Speaker 3: Hiking, right, Greg?
- 22:23Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 22:24Speaker 5: Your favorite.
- 22:25Speaker 3: Gotta do it.
- 22:25Speaker 6: The flooding ripped through the Bright Angel Canyon and Phantom
- 22:29Speaker 6: Ranch area on Saturday. It destroyed nearly every single footbridge
- 22:33Speaker 6: over the creek and forced more than 60 people to
- 22:35Speaker 6: be evacuated by helicopter.
- 22:37Speaker 2: I was going to say, you never hear about that
- 22:38Speaker 2: kind of stuff sitting on your couch.
- 22:40Speaker 8: Mm-mm.
- 22:40Speaker 2: And then the Nepal story ruined that.
- 22:42Speaker 3: Yeah, that changed that narrative.
- 22:44Speaker 5: That's a very good point.
- 22:45Speaker 6: The body of a 46-year-old guy has been recovered near
- 22:48Speaker 6: the Colorado River, and the flooding also knocked out the
- 22:50Speaker 6: park's main water pipeline. That has forced all overnight hotel
- 22:55Speaker 6: stays inside the park to shut down. That starts today.
- 22:58Speaker 6: More storms are possible through tonight, so... Unfortunately, the search
- 23:02Speaker 6: and the danger are both still very much happening.
- 23:04Speaker 3: Is there any spot on Earth that's just normal and safe?
- 23:08Speaker 1: No.
- 23:09Speaker 5: Go find a desert? Yeah.
- 23:11Speaker 2: Mother Nature reaches everywhere in some way, shape, or form.
- 23:14Speaker 5: Yeah, exactly.
- 23:15Speaker 6: Well, we've got a horrible story out of Missouri. 20-year-old
- 23:19Speaker 6: college football player Micah Joe Barnett He's died after suffering
- 23:23Speaker 6: a medical emergency during his team's season opener on Saturday.
- 23:27Speaker 6: Barnett had just scored a touchdown, and right after that,
- 23:30Speaker 6: he told the team doctor he was having trouble breathing,
- 23:32Speaker 6: and he just went down on the sideline. Emergency crews
- 23:35Speaker 6: treated him before rushing him to the hospital, and that
- 23:37Speaker 6: is where he died. The game was immediately stopped and
- 23:40Speaker 6: eventually canceled, and as of now, they do not know
- 23:43Speaker 6: what caused his death. And Dolly Parton has been laid
- 23:46Speaker 6: to rest with a private funeral with immediate family on Friday.
- 23:49Speaker 6: And immediate family is like 30 people.
- 23:51Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 23:52Speaker 6: Woodlawn Memorial Park and Mausoleum also shared her official obituary.
- 23:56Speaker 6: Tennessee Governor Bill Lee and Nashville International Airport announced that
- 24:00Speaker 6: they intend to rename the airport in her honor.
- 24:03Speaker 3: Kids?
- 24:04Speaker 5: No, never had kids.
- 24:05Speaker 3: They tried. Nieces and nephews, right?
- 24:07Speaker 5: Yeah, tons.
- 24:08Speaker 3: No wonder she was all pleasant and stuff. I was
- 24:09Speaker 3: going to say, what a life.
- 24:11Speaker 5: Well, you know, Miley Cyrus is her goddaughter.
- 24:12Speaker 2: Famous or rich, you don't have any kids to worry about.
- 24:14Speaker 5: Yeah, they tried, but she couldn't.
- 24:16Speaker 6: Well, Aaron Donald is officially coming out of retirement to
- 24:19Speaker 6: play for the Rams. He hasn't played since 2023, but
- 24:22Speaker 6: after spending the summer working out with the team, the
- 24:25Speaker 6: 35-year-old signed a one-year $ 20 million deal. That can go
- 24:30Speaker 6: up to $ 30 million, by the way, with playoff incentives.
- 24:32Speaker 6: The Rams' defensive line is now ridiculous because Donald is
- 24:36Speaker 6: joining defensive player of the year Miles Garrett, who the
- 24:39Speaker 6: Rams traded for earlier this summer. Between the two of them,
- 24:42Speaker 6: they have five Defensive Player of the Year awards and
- 24:46Speaker 6: 236 career sacks.
- 24:47Speaker 3: How do you think this is going to go, Jeff?
- 24:50Speaker 3: I think it's going to go well. I don't see
- 24:51Speaker 3: him playing every game.
- 24:52Speaker 9: I have a feeling it's going to be one of
- 24:54Speaker 9: those things, like if they're playing a weak-ass opponent, they'll
- 24:56Speaker 9: rest them or give them more rest. But I think
- 24:59Speaker 9: an old Aaron Donald is better than most other people
- 25:02Speaker 9: at that position, and especially when you're forced to figure
- 25:05Speaker 9: out how you're going to handle him and Miles Garrett.
- 25:08Speaker 9: So it's going to be a problem for opposing teams.
- 25:09Speaker 9: I think it'll go well. Rams are Super Bowl favorites,
- 25:12Speaker 9: and this only makes them more of Super Bowl favorites.
- 25:15Speaker 9: We'll see if he can stay healthy. That's the big thing.
- 25:16Speaker 2: I mean, that's a thing. Better than other people, but
- 25:21Speaker 2: it's still not the Aaron Donald that everybody thinks he is.
- 25:26Speaker 3: Of course. He's still older.
- 25:28Speaker 2: He hasn't played in two and a half years or whatever.
- 25:31Speaker 2: He's still jacked.
- 25:32Speaker 3: Jacked.
- 25:33Speaker 2: Dude, you see these videos of him doing these workouts
- 25:36Speaker 2: as he's been preparing and stuff. You're like, God damn.
- 25:40Speaker 2: It's crazy, but I would say temper expectations... Still better
- 25:44Speaker 2: than a lot of other people in that same position.
- 25:47Speaker 9: Why did he retire then? I mean, he went out
- 25:50Speaker 9: on top right on the Super Bowl. I don't blame
- 25:53Speaker 9: him for doing that, but sometimes there's that void in
- 25:55Speaker 9: your life and these dudes can't let it go.
- 25:58Speaker 2: Well, I was having a conversation with somebody recently about this.
- 26:03Speaker 2: This has been kind of like my new thing is
- 26:04Speaker 2: like whatever it is that you have in your life,
- 26:08Speaker 2: be it your job or there is one particular thing
- 26:10Speaker 2: that you're kind of known for, quote unquote, Like, you
- 26:13Speaker 2: can't let that be your entire identity. Because at some point,
- 26:18Speaker 2: that thing will either go away or be taken from
- 26:20Speaker 2: you or you won't be able to do it anymore.
- 26:24Speaker 2: And then what are you left with? So a lot
- 26:26Speaker 2: of these guys, this is all they've done since they
- 26:28Speaker 2: were kids.
- 26:29Speaker 3: Athletes, right?
- 26:29Speaker 5: Huge gaping hole.
- 26:30Speaker 2: Like these professional athletes. And then especially when you're a
- 26:34Speaker 2: big star, if you're kind of like a nobody, like
- 26:36Speaker 2: nobody ever really knew you, it's a little bit easier.
- 26:39Speaker 2: But like, man, once you were the guy... You know,
- 26:43Speaker 2: that's got to be such a tough thing to not
- 26:46Speaker 2: be anymore. You're still that person. Like, that's who you are.
- 26:49Speaker 2: You have that name.
- 26:50Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 26:51Speaker 2: But then every day that goes by that you're not
- 26:52Speaker 2: playing and you're not an active player, people slowly start
- 26:55Speaker 2: forgetting you.
- 26:56Speaker 5: I think about that with fading rock stars all the time.
- 26:58Speaker 1: Yes.
- 26:59Speaker 3: Like, who are you now? We see it in our
- 27:00Speaker 3: own industry with radio DJs. Yes.
- 27:02Speaker 4: Like, yeah.
- 27:03Speaker 3: Oh, yeah.
- 27:03Speaker 2: That's who I was talking to recently about, you know,
- 27:06Speaker 2: you can't let a job especially be your entire identity.
- 27:10Speaker 8: Identity.
- 27:10Speaker 2: You have to have something. Outside of that. And I
- 27:14Speaker 2: speak from experience because this is all I've ever done.
- 27:17Speaker 2: I've done this since my I've been on the air
- 27:18Speaker 2: full time since my senior year of high school.
- 27:20Speaker 1: Right.
- 27:21Speaker 2: And I've had no real life up until more recently.
- 27:24Speaker 2: I've had because all I ever did was work, thought
- 27:27Speaker 2: about work, did extra work, go home, nap.
- 27:29Speaker 3: Wake up, work. And that was it.
- 27:31Speaker 2: This has been it.
- 27:33Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 27:34Speaker 2: And that's not a good that's not a good place
- 27:36Speaker 2: to be. In the long run, because eventually, as I
- 27:40Speaker 2: start thinking about, like, you know, going to be 50
- 27:42Speaker 2: this year. And then, you know, eventually you start to
- 27:45Speaker 2: think about retirement at some point or whatever.
- 27:47Speaker 3: Then what?
- 27:48Speaker 5: Then you can just be Captain Woody.
- 27:49Speaker 2: Are you miserable because you're no longer doing whatever it is? Yeah.
- 27:53Speaker 2: I'll use the example of Howard Stern. Howard Stern is
- 27:56Speaker 2: now down to one day a week. Now, why is
- 27:59Speaker 2: it he's got a billion dollars?
- 28:01Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 28:02Speaker 2: Why is it he's even feeling the need to do
- 28:04Speaker 2: that one day a week? Because I don't think he's got,
- 28:07Speaker 2: I think for himself, I don't think he's got anything
- 28:10Speaker 2: else outside of that. Like that is his entire identity.
- 28:14Speaker 3: He has access to do whatever he wants.
- 28:16Speaker 2: And he realizes that. And so he continues to do
- 28:18Speaker 2: this one, this one day.
- 28:20Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 28:20Speaker 2: You know, although he just did sign, like I saw,
- 28:22Speaker 2: just see with HBO.
- 28:23Speaker 4: So yeah, it's just, it'll be like an interview show.
- 28:27Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 28:28Speaker 2: So going down to one day a week, he's going
- 28:29Speaker 2: to end up making more than he did doing three.
- 28:31Speaker 3: Days or five days. That math is insane. Yeah. Good
- 28:34Speaker 3: for him.
- 28:35Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 28:36Speaker 6: Well, Spider-Man is still number one at the box office,
- 28:39Speaker 6: making another $ 22 million.
- 28:41Speaker 5: Coyote vs. Acme finally hit $ 15 million. The Odyssey was third.
- 28:46Speaker 6: Insidious Out of the Further dropped to fourth. And the
- 28:49Speaker 6: Dog Stars debuted at number five. And finally, a growing
- 28:53Speaker 6: number of schools are rolling out the three-year bachelor's degree program.
- 28:57Speaker 6: This gives students a chance to earn a diploma quicker
- 29:00Speaker 6: and save them a lot of money. So instead of
- 29:03Speaker 6: the traditional 120 credit hours that spread across four years,
- 29:07Speaker 6: they're just going down to 90 credits. And that would
- 29:09Speaker 6: mean students can enter the workforce sooner, spend less on
- 29:11Speaker 6: tuition and living expenses, and avoid all the piling up debt.
- 29:15Speaker 6: They'll just get, you know, most of it. The idea
- 29:17Speaker 6: is gaining momentum. At least 70 schools have either launched
- 29:21Speaker 6: three-year degree programs or are actively considering doing it.
- 29:24Speaker 2: That's not a bad idea.
- 29:24Speaker 3: It's subordinate.
- 29:25Speaker 4: There's so many unnecessary classes.
- 29:27Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 29:27Speaker 6: Yeah, trim some of the fat out. But not everyone
- 29:30Speaker 6: is sold on this, of course. Critics worry about whether
- 29:32Speaker 6: graduate schools and employers will fully embrace the shorter degrees.
- 29:35Speaker 5: They'll have to.
- 29:36Speaker 3: Why not?
- 29:37Speaker 2: I mean, there are, like, I think accelerated, if I'm
- 29:40Speaker 2: remembering this correctly, both of my stepsisters are nurses. And
- 29:44Speaker 2: I know like at one point one was involved in
- 29:47Speaker 2: like an accelerated nursing program for something. You come out
- 29:50Speaker 2: the other side, you're still a registered nurse.
- 29:52Speaker 5: Right. You know, whether you took however many.
- 29:55Speaker 2: You know, like some people take five or six years
- 29:58Speaker 2: to get their bachelor's degree. Is that worth more because
- 30:01Speaker 2: you spent more time doing it? It's whatever the– if it's.
- 30:04Speaker 3: Still the 120 credits. Well, it's 90. What's that?
- 30:08Speaker 5: That's what they're saying. They're taking it from 120 credits
- 30:11Speaker 5: to 90 credits.
- 30:12Speaker 3: Right.
- 30:12Speaker 2: But I'm saying like if it's still– whatever the credits
- 30:15Speaker 2: you were talking about. That's how our friend Christine– At
- 30:19Speaker 2: Brown University, ended up having that fisting seminar.
- 30:25Speaker 1: Oh, yeah.
- 30:25Speaker 3: Unnecessary.
- 30:26Speaker 2: Yeah, because it counted as a credit.
- 30:28Speaker 5: Oh, my God.
- 30:29Speaker 2: It was just an arbitrary number they put on there,
- 30:32Speaker 2: the 120.
- 30:32Speaker 3: No, that's true.
- 30:33Speaker 5: That's true.
- 30:33Speaker 2: So if they decide, like, okay, like the baseline for
- 30:37Speaker 2: the absolute mandatory blah, blah, blah is 90, then so
- 30:41Speaker 2: be it.
- 30:41Speaker 6: We all don't have to take Aramaic poetry.
- 30:43Speaker 5: We'll all be okay.
- 30:45Speaker 2: Or the same thinking of, okay, well, what school did
- 30:47Speaker 2: you go to? Well, what do you call somebody who
- 30:49Speaker 2: graduates from medical school?
- 30:53Speaker 3: Doctor. Doesn't matter where they went.
- 30:55Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 30:55Speaker 5: Yeah. I might be turning around on this.
- 30:58Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 30:58Speaker 5: Because I was like, oh, now we're just going to
- 30:59Speaker 5: have dumber people graduating.
- 31:00Speaker 2: Well, see, you're bummed because... That's not how you did it.
- 31:04Speaker 5: Well, I had to go back as a person in
- 31:06Speaker 5: my 40s and finish.
- 31:08Speaker 3: That's what I'm saying.
- 31:09Speaker 5: That's exactly right.
- 31:11Speaker 2: I felt the same way because there was like when
- 31:13Speaker 2: starting in radio, going back to that, you know, it
- 31:16Speaker 2: was always you had to go work in some really small,
- 31:19Speaker 2: super dumpy town. to get your start. Your first job
- 31:24Speaker 2: was never at a big station in a big city.
- 31:27Speaker 2: You had to go, quote, pay your dues. Now, it
- 31:30Speaker 2: doesn't matter, man. It could be New York, Los Angeles, whatever.
- 31:32Speaker 2: People's first on-air jobs are on the regular in markets
- 31:36Speaker 2: like that. And the old school guys like me are like, well,
- 31:38Speaker 2: that's weird. And somebody made the point, and I thought
- 31:43Speaker 2: about it.
- 31:43Speaker 3: You know what? You're right.
- 31:44Speaker 2: It's because you had to do the long way. And
- 31:49Speaker 2: now there's this, quote, shortcut.
- 31:52Speaker 5: I don't remember being offered a shortcut. That's what I'm saying.
- 31:55Speaker 2: But does it really matter?
- 31:56Speaker 5: Yeah, no.
- 31:57Speaker 3: It doesn't.
- 31:58Speaker 2: If this is the way it is now, that's the
- 32:00Speaker 2: way it is now.
- 32:00Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 32:01Speaker 3: It's just jealousy.
- 32:03Speaker 6: Well, also, if I'm paying for a kid's degree, I'll
- 32:05Speaker 6: take the three.
- 32:06Speaker 5: Years over the four years.
- 32:07Speaker 3: Exactly right.
- 32:08Speaker 4: Well, that goes back to the thing where they were, like,
- 32:10Speaker 4: you know, forgiving tuition, you know, payments and loans and
- 32:14Speaker 4: stuff like that. And people were all.
- 32:16Speaker 3: Butthurt about it who already.
- 32:18Speaker 4: Paid them off. And, like, I get it. I paid
- 32:21Speaker 4: my loans, too.
- 32:22Speaker 3: Same.
- 32:22Speaker 4: But, you know, it just wasn't, you know, in the
- 32:25Speaker 4: cards for you this time. So just get over it,
- 32:27Speaker 4: you know?
- 32:28Speaker 5: Yeah. Well, that's what's going on, Woody.
- 32:30Speaker 1: All right.
- 32:30Speaker 3: What about the– let's see.
- 32:33Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 32:33Speaker 3: All right. We'll take a break.
- 32:34Speaker 5: Okay.
- 32:35Speaker 3: We'll come back. I thought I had something else. Oh,
- 32:37Speaker 3: I did. I had a piece of food news.
- 32:39Speaker 8: Oh, Riff.
- 32:41Speaker 1: The Woody Show.
- 32:42Speaker 3: All right.
- 32:44Speaker 2: Welcome back.
- 32:45Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 32:46Speaker 2: And I do have some food news.
- 32:49Speaker 8: Oh. Yeah. Riff.
- 32:50Speaker 3: Oh, food news. All right.
- 32:52Speaker 2: So McDonald's, they're bringing back the spicy chicken nuggets.
- 32:56Speaker 3: Oh, sweet. Starting this week.
- 33:00Speaker 2: So they're like the regular nuggets, but they got that cayenne,
- 33:03Speaker 2: that chili pepper that's added to that tempura-style breading.
- 33:07Speaker 3: They're good.
- 33:07Speaker 5: They're pretty good, actually.
- 33:08Speaker 3: Yeah, they are good.
- 33:09Speaker 2: Now, they had launched these back in 2020, sold out
- 33:13Speaker 2: in about two weeks, and they've just been gone. I
- 33:16Speaker 2: don't know why they don't make them permanently. Like, what's
- 33:18Speaker 2: the big deal? You make nuggets.
- 33:20Speaker 5: Throw a little seasoning on them.
- 33:21Speaker 2: Yeah, like have an extra bag of frozen nuggets, you know,
- 33:24Speaker 2: so that when somebody orders them, you just throw them
- 33:26Speaker 2: in the fryer like you would the regular one.
- 33:28Speaker 3: You have nuggets. You have, exactly right. You have spices.
- 33:31Speaker 2: They like to do that. They're also bringing back the
- 33:34Speaker 2: Mighty Hot Sauce, which they say is one of the
- 33:37Speaker 2: spiciest sauces they've ever offered.
- 33:39Speaker 8: Nice.
- 33:39Speaker 3: You know what I tried the other day? Panda Express
- 33:42Speaker 3: has a spicy orange chicken. It's actually spicy.
- 33:46Speaker 8: Really?
- 33:46Speaker 5: And did you get like two pieces?
- 33:48Speaker 3: Like four. Oh, okay. Yeah.
- 33:51Speaker 2: And those spicy nuggets from McDonald's, I like them just
- 33:54Speaker 2: by themselves.
- 33:55Speaker 3: No sauce.
- 33:56Speaker 8: Really?
- 33:56Speaker 4: Yeah, it's not needed.
- 33:57Speaker 3: Yeah, you don't even need sauce for those. Are they damp?
- 34:00Speaker 2: They're good, yeah.
- 34:01Speaker 8: Really?
- 34:02Speaker 3: Yeah, they're really good. I can't imagine doing it without sauce. Yeah.
- 34:06Speaker 2: I also realize that I'm a person, like when bread
- 34:08Speaker 2: comes to the table, I don't put butter on it.
- 34:12Speaker 2: I'll just eat the bread, just no butter.
- 34:15Speaker 5: Well, that's Jeff G. We see you just eating dry
- 34:17Speaker 5: bread all the time.
- 34:18Speaker 3: Just a piece of bread. A piece of sourdough, dry.
- 34:21Speaker 5: Yeah, I'll do that.
- 34:23Speaker 3: Boring.
- 34:24Speaker 2: I see people slather it. Not that I'll never have
- 34:26Speaker 2: the butter, but it's not like my... I immediately go
- 34:29Speaker 2: for the butter.
- 34:30Speaker 5: What if it's like oil and vinegar? Are you just
- 34:32Speaker 5: a dry guy or you just don't like butter?
- 34:34Speaker 1: No, no.
- 34:34Speaker 2: It's not that I don't like butter. Half the time,
- 34:37Speaker 2: if the roll is warm, they bring out that little basket.
- 34:40Speaker 3: I'll just go.
- 34:41Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 34:41Speaker 3: I'll just go.
- 34:42Speaker 2: That's when the butter melts.
- 34:44Speaker 4: It melts so good.
- 34:45Speaker 2: I understand how it works.
- 34:47Speaker 5: Why don't you love it?
- 34:48Speaker 3: You've got to lace it up. I get science.
- 34:49Speaker 2: I feel like sometimes it just doesn't need it. There's
- 34:52Speaker 2: a sushi place that my wife and I go to,
- 34:54Speaker 2: and they have this. It's a baked crab hand roll.
- 34:58Speaker 3: This thing. And you guys have been to this. These things. Oh,
- 35:01Speaker 3: my God.
- 35:02Speaker 2: One of the best things I've ever had in my life.
- 35:04Speaker 2: And I don't dip it in the soy sauce. And
- 35:07Speaker 2: she is almost like half drowning. And I go, man,
- 35:09Speaker 2: this thing is so flavorful and so good.
- 35:12Speaker 5: Perfect the way it is.
- 35:13Speaker 2: Like you're almost, I mean, you are ruining it by
- 35:16Speaker 2: putting any kind of soy. It doesn't need soy sauce.
- 35:19Speaker 2: But by putting that much. Like, I don't know what,
- 35:22Speaker 2: you know, my dad immediately, before he even tasted anything,
- 35:26Speaker 2: salts food.
- 35:26Speaker 1: Right.
- 35:27Speaker 5: That's weird.
- 35:28Speaker 3: You haven't even tasted it yet.
- 35:29Speaker 5: How do you know?
- 35:29Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 35:30Speaker 2: So some things just don't need whatever. But those spicy
- 35:33Speaker 2: nuggets from McDonald's, I think, don't really need them.
- 35:35Speaker 4: Okay.
- 35:36Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 35:36Speaker 2: Oh, your Subway take, guys?
- 35:38Speaker 3: Oh, yeah?
- 35:39Speaker 2: They did a whole thing about, they say barbecue sauce
- 35:42Speaker 2: is number one. What's the number one sauce?
- 35:43Speaker 3: So what's your take? Barbecue sauce is the best sauce.
- 35:47Speaker 2: Above ketchup, mustard, any other sauces, barbecue sauce reigns supreme.
- 35:54Speaker 3: It is the only sauce that matters. God, this is
- 35:57Speaker 3: really hard. This is probably the hardest one I've ever... 100% disagree. 100% disagree?
- 36:03Speaker 3: I'm sorry. I'm sorry. If I'm going to Chick-fil-A and
- 36:07Speaker 3: they're offering me sauces... Barbecue is like fourth. Yeah, I agree.
- 36:11Speaker 3: Barbecue is on my never list. Barbecue is my favorite.
- 36:15Speaker 3: I hate it. It's good.
- 36:17Speaker 5: It's good.
- 36:17Speaker 2: It's just not for everything. And I would never say
- 36:20Speaker 2: it's the number one.
- 36:22Speaker 4: Is A1 considered barbecue sauce? No, it's a steak sauce.
- 36:26Speaker 5: It's so gross. I don't get it.
- 36:28Speaker 6: I think I have the thing that people have with cilantro.
- 36:30Speaker 6: I only taste like chlorine with A1. I don't get
- 36:33Speaker 6: steak sauce.
- 36:34Speaker 5: I don't get it.
- 36:35Speaker 2: We've said a number of times, McDonald's definitely has some
- 36:38Speaker 2: kind of financial interest in the barbecue sauce.
- 36:41Speaker 3: For sure.
- 36:41Speaker 2: Because they are such pushers of it. Even when you
- 36:43Speaker 2: order a different sauce, sometimes you still get the barbecue.
- 36:45Speaker 5: This doesn't look like honey mustard.
- 36:47Speaker 3: Right, exactly.
- 36:49Speaker 2: Yeah, for the nuggets, either the hot mustard or the
- 36:51Speaker 2: honey mustard are my go-tos.
- 36:52Speaker 5: Yeah, totally.
- 36:53Speaker 3: Like, barbecue's in there.
- 36:54Speaker 5: It's fine, but it does seem like that's the one
- 36:56Speaker 5: they're trying to get rid of.
- 36:57Speaker 1: Yes.
- 36:57Speaker 3: Sweet and sour all day.
- 36:59Speaker 2: Yeah, sweet and sour.
- 36:59Speaker 3: Ooh, I forgot about that one. Yeah, sweet and sour
- 37:01Speaker 3: is good. Barbecue can go to hell.
- 37:04Speaker 2: It's not a go to hell. It's not like it's bad.
- 37:06Speaker 3: It's good.
- 37:07Speaker 8: Really?
- 37:07Speaker 3: Think about all the good stuff you have with barbecue.
- 37:09Speaker 3: The ribs, the chicken.
- 37:10Speaker 4: Yeah. You don't got no love for stuff?
- 37:13Speaker 8: No.
- 37:13Speaker 3: Pulled pork.
- 37:14Speaker 2: No.
- 37:14Speaker 5: You're a dry rub guy.
- 37:15Speaker 2: Wait, so you don't like.
- 37:16Speaker 3: I just don't like barbecue sauce. Okay, so it's one
- 37:19Speaker 3: of the, I don't know, two things I don't like
- 37:21Speaker 3: when it comes to eating. So you don't like barbecue?
- 37:24Speaker 2: Like going to a barbecue place, like a Texas barbecue.
- 37:27Speaker 3: I'll tolerate it. Tolerate it? But I would never go
- 37:31Speaker 3: out of my way to seek barbecue sauce.
- 37:34Speaker 8: What?
- 37:34Speaker 2: I've got to do the Q. When it comes to
- 37:36Speaker 2: nuggets and things like that. But I'm talking about when
- 37:37Speaker 2: you go to the place.
- 37:38Speaker 3: You get the- And it's already slathered on there.
- 37:40Speaker 2: I'm saying when you get the pulled pork and the
- 37:42Speaker 2: ribs and the brisket and all that kind of stuff.
- 37:44Speaker 3: I'd rather get it without.
- 37:45Speaker 5: Dried.
- 37:46Speaker 3: I'd rather get it dry.
- 37:47Speaker 12: Barbecue chicken salad is good, too.
- 37:49Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 37:49Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 37:50Speaker 1: Good.
- 37:50Speaker 3: Mayonnaise. I'll tell you about that.
- 37:53Speaker 2: I got some news involving a fun accent.
- 37:55Speaker 3: Okay.
- 37:56Speaker 2: This is from Australia.
- 37:57Speaker 3: How's your pie? Heard of cows?
- 37:59Speaker 2: They escaped from their enclosure and decided it was time
- 38:02Speaker 2: for McDonald's, which is an odd place for.
- 38:04Speaker 3: A cow to go.
- 38:04Speaker 2: Yeah, go Chick-fil-A.
- 38:07Speaker 3: No use for you there.
- 38:09Speaker 2: The cows ended up in the McDonald's drive-thru. This is
- 38:11Speaker 2: coverage from the local news. Again, warning, fun accent ahead.
- 38:15Speaker 3: Jane, this is utterly amazing.
- 38:17Speaker 13: I can't believe you haven't heard this one, Jane. I'll
- 38:19Speaker 13: run you through the series of events. At 7.40, police
- 38:22Speaker 13: received a call. That was on Monday night. This herd
- 38:25Speaker 13: had escaped from a property on the Centenary Highway just
- 38:28Speaker 13: near Ipswich. Police conducted a search, couldn't find them. But
- 38:31Speaker 13: I'll tell you why they couldn't find them, because they'd
- 38:32Speaker 13: headed off to the South Ripley's McDonald's drive-through to place
- 38:36Speaker 13: an order.
- 38:37Speaker 2: Jane, yes, that's right.
- 38:38Speaker 13: This is not a New commercial for McDonald's farm.
- 38:41Speaker 3: The table names.
- 38:41Speaker 13: This was actually captured by someone in that car park.
- 38:44Speaker 13: But I did get in touch with McDonald's, Jane, and
- 38:47Speaker 13: asked them why they didn't take the order of these
- 38:49Speaker 13: cows through the drive-thru. I said, do you have a
- 38:51Speaker 13: problem with these cows? Their response to me was, Peter,
- 38:54Speaker 13: we have no beef.
- 38:55Speaker 2: He was so excited about that.
- 39:00Speaker 3: He got jokes. He got paid that day, guys. Yeah,
- 39:02Speaker 3: he did.
- 39:02Speaker 2: He went to work, and that was his job, to
- 39:05Speaker 2: make all.
- 39:05Speaker 3: Those really terrible jokes. In the car park. Yeah.
- 39:08Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 39:09Speaker 3: Not a parking lot. No, car park.
- 39:10Speaker 2: That's right. 877-44-WOODY. Text us over to 22987. More Woody
- 39:17Speaker 2: shows next time.
- 39:17Speaker 3: The Woody Show. The Woody Show.
- 39:20Speaker 2: I don't want to deal with anybody but they're scum.
- 39:22Speaker 2: They're sick people. There's something wrong with them.
- 39:24Speaker 4: They're cuckoo.
- 39:25Speaker 3: They're liars.
- 39:26Speaker 2: They're cheats.
- 39:27Speaker 3: They're sick people.
- 39:28Speaker 2: The Woody Show. is back.
- 39:31Speaker 5: All right.
- 39:34Speaker 2: Cheers and jeers. By design, I've really kept the talk
- 39:40Speaker 2: about flying to a minimum. You know, always wanted to
- 39:44Speaker 2: learn how to fly a plane. Ended up getting my
- 39:45Speaker 2: pilot's license. I got an instrument rating.
- 39:47Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah. Real fast. Yeah, anyway. So, well, a year
- 39:50Speaker 3: and a half. A bit faster than most.
- 39:54Speaker 2: But anyway, so, yeah, I've been doing a ton of flying.
- 39:57Speaker 3: Like a ton. And it's great.
- 39:59Speaker 2: I'm almost at 400 hours, which... Dude.
- 40:03Speaker 8: Wow.
- 40:03Speaker 3: That's a lot of pilot time. How much is the
- 40:06Speaker 3: average per year, give or take?
- 40:07Speaker 2: Somewhere around 50 or 60 hours a year.
- 40:10Speaker 3: A year?
- 40:11Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 40:11Speaker 3: Damn.
- 40:12Speaker 2: For your average general aviation... Let's just say.
- 40:15Speaker 5: Weekend warrior stuff, right?
- 40:17Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah. Pretty much.
- 40:18Speaker 2: Oh, that's so funny. But just doing a ton of that.
- 40:21Speaker 3: It's great. You know why?
- 40:22Speaker 2: I find that I get my best thinking done then.
- 40:24Speaker 3: Really?
- 40:24Speaker 5: I get that.
- 40:25Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 40:26Speaker 2: Because you're... There's no distraction.
- 40:27Speaker 3: I mean, you're... Up there by yourself. It's great.
- 40:31Speaker 2: It's really great. So I've been really enjoying that. And
- 40:34Speaker 2: that's the total cheers, total departure from, you know, this life.
- 40:40Speaker 2: On the ground.
- 40:41Speaker 5: Speaking of which, thoughts like maybe I don't stop. Maybe
- 40:43Speaker 5: I just keep flying.
- 40:45Speaker 3: Keep on flying.
- 40:46Speaker 5: See where the wind takes me.
- 40:49Speaker 2: No, it's really, it's a really good, it's a really
- 40:52Speaker 2: good other thing to have.
- 40:53Speaker 5: Mind clearer.
- 40:54Speaker 3: Like whatever that is.
- 40:55Speaker 2: Some people it's golf. Some people it's, you know, I
- 40:57Speaker 2: don't know.
- 40:58Speaker 3: They paint. You're right. They do something.
- 41:01Speaker 2: They have hobbies. Yeah, so cheers to that. Cheers to,
- 41:05Speaker 2: and there's so much of it, man, this victim mentality.
- 41:11Speaker 2: Like people who are just going around with a victim
- 41:13Speaker 2: mentality all the time. The world is out to get them.
- 41:16Speaker 5: It's a badge of honor. And it's their daily thing.
- 41:19Speaker 5: Like how can I be a victim today?
- 41:20Speaker 2: It's their identity.
- 41:22Speaker 3: Love to alienate themselves.
- 41:24Speaker 2: And it's people that I know. It's people that I love.
- 41:27Speaker 2: And I go, man, because there was one person in
- 41:30Speaker 2: particular where I was like, man, okay, I have subconsciously
- 41:37Speaker 2: disconnected from this person. I go, yeah, because I used
- 41:40Speaker 2: to talk to this person all the time. And I
- 41:43Speaker 2: found over the last, I would say, year or so,
- 41:46Speaker 2: it's been less and less and less. And it's my doing.
- 41:50Speaker 2: They'll reach out. I'll go, I'll text them back later.
- 41:53Speaker 2: And then I forget because I get busy with other things.
- 41:55Speaker 2: I go, oh man, hey, sorry, I meant to... But
- 41:57Speaker 2: I'm like, why is that? Because typically it'd.
- 41:59Speaker 3: Be right away. And it's because.
- 42:02Speaker 2: this person has totally signed up for this victim mentality.
- 42:06Speaker 2: They are always the victim of the story. There's never
- 42:09Speaker 2: any accountability on there. And they're telling me stuff and
- 42:12Speaker 2: I go, well, I don't know if X, Y, Z.
- 42:15Speaker 2: And now I'm the person who's attacking them.
- 42:19Speaker 5: You're just another enemy.
- 42:21Speaker 3: No, dude, I'm your friend.
- 42:22Speaker 2: Like, I love you, but I'm just giving you the
- 42:26Speaker 2: perspective on this that maybe I think you're missing and
- 42:28Speaker 2: that it's not what you think it is.
- 42:30Speaker 5: Do you think this is an age thing?
- 42:33Speaker 2: No, because this person is old enough to know better.
- 42:35Speaker 5: Mike the Showkiller, huh?
- 42:38Speaker 2: No, not Mike the Showkiller. I got to say, I
- 42:41Speaker 2: give Mike the Showkiller a lot of credit. He completely
- 42:44Speaker 2: just switched gears and took a chance on doing something
- 42:48Speaker 2: Completely different.
- 42:49Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 42:50Speaker 2: Yeah, you know he bought this cafe. He's making a
- 42:52Speaker 2: business He's making like a like a real go of
- 42:54Speaker 2: it like is he gonna be doing this you know
- 42:56Speaker 2: ten years from now I.
- 42:57Speaker 3: Have no idea. I'll be dead long gone.
- 43:00Speaker 2: I mean like our friend striker I told him at
- 43:02Speaker 2: the time He just up and quit a job because
- 43:05Speaker 2: he wasn't happy where he was working anymore And he
- 43:08Speaker 2: just up and quit and and did it without anything
- 43:11Speaker 2: else lined up and wasn't sure what the next thing
- 43:13Speaker 2: was gonna be I've known a few people who have
- 43:15Speaker 2: done that right and I give him a lot of
- 43:16Speaker 2: credit because I as a person who's been in situations and,
- 43:20Speaker 2: you know, thought everything was fine and then you get
- 43:23Speaker 2: let go and you're like, now what next? I very
- 43:26Speaker 2: much have always been a, you know, kind of plan
- 43:30Speaker 2: for the worst, hope for the best. And so like
- 43:33Speaker 2: at all times, I always have like a, if this
- 43:36Speaker 2: happens today, this is where I'm going to go. This
- 43:39Speaker 2: is what I'm gonna do. This is the first phone
- 43:40Speaker 2: call I'm going to make. And so people who can just,
- 43:44Speaker 2: who can just like, ah, I give them, I give
- 43:47Speaker 2: them some credit.
- 43:48Speaker 3: That's scary.
- 43:49Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 43:50Speaker 6: How long have you noticed the transition of your friend
- 43:52Speaker 6: from being normal, let's say, to being a complainer?
- 43:55Speaker 2: Over the course of a couple of years.
- 43:58Speaker 3: It's the same type of people that say they hate drama,
- 44:00Speaker 3: but they love drama. Oh, yeah.
- 44:04Speaker 2: It's their lifeblood, man.
- 44:06Speaker 5: It's their oxygen.
- 44:07Speaker 3: I hate the chaos and the drama. I think, why
- 44:09Speaker 3: are you creating it?
- 44:10Speaker 5: You are the chaos and the drama.
- 44:12Speaker 3: Stop creating it. Yeah, yeah.
- 44:14Speaker 2: Cheers and jeers, Greg Gorey.
- 44:16Speaker 3: I'm going to give cheers to a big development in
- 44:19Speaker 3: the case against Laura Owens.
- 44:21Speaker 4: Oh, talk to me.
- 44:22Speaker 3: So quick recap, Laura Owens notoriously conned three men into
- 44:27Speaker 3: believing that she was pregnant with their babies when she
- 44:30Speaker 3: was not. Falsified documents, falsified doctor visits.
- 44:33Speaker 5: Tons of perjury.
- 44:34Speaker 3: Tried to get money out of these people. One of them, noteworthy,
- 44:37Speaker 3: Clayton Eckhart from The Bachelor.
- 44:39Speaker 8: Mm-hmm.
- 44:40Speaker 3: The development is after she got indicted by a grand jury,
- 44:43Speaker 3: she pleaded not guilty. Well, she just pleaded guilty. So
- 44:46Speaker 3: she's been charged four counts, one of taking the identity
- 44:50Speaker 3: of another, a couple counts of fraudulent schemes, and one
- 44:54Speaker 3: count of perjury. That's my main cheer. Because I think
- 44:57Speaker 3: in every case, if somebody says, hey, I didn't do
- 45:00Speaker 3: what you're accusing me of, They're lying.
- 45:02Speaker 5: Yes, correct.
- 45:03Speaker 3: So whatever happened to perjury, finally, somebody's getting charged with perjury.
- 45:06Speaker 4: Yeah, you count.
- 45:08Speaker 3: That's crazy. Every case should have at least one. portion
- 45:12Speaker 3: of it be perjury.
- 45:13Speaker 5: Well, she pleaded way down then, if that's what she
- 45:16Speaker 5: ended up with.
- 45:16Speaker 3: Yeah, she got four counts. So she's going to get
- 45:18Speaker 3: sentenced sometime in the next month or so.
- 45:21Speaker 5: Oh, she's getting so pissed.
- 45:21Speaker 3: And she could be getting up to 12 years in prison.
- 45:25Speaker 3: So that's kind of exciting.
- 45:26Speaker 5: Greg and I have been obsessed with this case.
- 45:28Speaker 3: So a little bit of justice.
- 45:30Speaker 5: I like the charge fraudulent schemes.
- 45:32Speaker 3: Yeah, exactly.
- 45:33Speaker 5: And what was the first thing you said? Identity theft?
- 45:36Speaker 3: Taking the identity of another.
- 45:38Speaker 5: That has to be because she stole some chick's sonogram.
- 45:41Speaker 8: Right.
- 45:42Speaker 3: Everything about it was fake.
- 45:44Speaker 5: Damn.
- 45:44Speaker 3: And God bless parents for being on their kid's side,
- 45:47Speaker 3: but the mom was kind of feeding into the nuttiness.
- 45:50Speaker 3: It was just crazy. So good for that. My jeers,
- 45:54Speaker 3: I'm going to just say inexplicable medical issues, I guess
- 45:59Speaker 3: I'll call it.
- 46:00Speaker 8: Okay.
- 46:00Speaker 3: A few days ago, I showed Gina my right arm.
- 46:03Speaker 3: I said, look, I have like this weird rash. It
- 46:05Speaker 3: is spreading. It's red. It's bumpy. When I was a kid,
- 46:07Speaker 3: I had a case of, it's called empatigo, like some weird, gross,
- 46:12Speaker 3: blistery stuff on your skin. And I don't know if
- 46:14Speaker 3: this is that. And what is it? It's a skin condition?
- 46:16Speaker 3: It's like some weird. Yeah, but now it's like.
- 46:17Speaker 5: It looks like you got a scratch or a bite.
- 46:18Speaker 3: It's spreading up my arm. I'm so gross.
- 46:21Speaker 5: Maybe you're radioactive.
- 46:22Speaker 3: Is it eczema? I don't think so.
- 46:24Speaker 5: It doesn't look like eczema.
- 46:25Speaker 3: Measles? It's just gross. How long has it been there?
- 46:28Speaker 3: About four days. Oh, okay. And it's kind of spreading
- 46:31Speaker 3: up my arm. It's gross. I'm just gross. And then
- 46:34Speaker 3: like the other day, I'm brushing my teeth. I glance
- 46:36Speaker 3: in the mirror and I have my damn ear hair
- 46:39Speaker 3: grows so long. I mean, so fast. I have an
- 46:42Speaker 3: ear hair trimmer that I stick in my ear and
- 46:45Speaker 3: it goes.
- 46:46Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 46:46Speaker 3: I feel like I have to do that every hour.
- 46:49Speaker 3: Like every time I look in the mirror, it's gross.
- 46:51Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 46:52Speaker 3: And now I have a rash on my arm. I'm
- 46:54Speaker 3: just disgusted.
- 46:54Speaker 5: Greg, would you ever let me pluck those hairs out
- 46:56Speaker 5: of your ear? Because I'm obsessed with doing that.
- 46:59Speaker 3: No, you know what you should do? Get them waxed
- 47:00Speaker 3: out of there. I did that in the past. I
- 47:02Speaker 3: used to do it again.
- 47:02Speaker 2: Oh, let me do it.
- 47:03Speaker 3: Oh, I love it. It's just gross being gross.
- 47:06Speaker 5: You can use the nose wax stuff that Emerson and
- 47:07Speaker 5: I have. It works perfectly for that.
- 47:09Speaker 3: I bought one of those. It's like a cauldron, and
- 47:11Speaker 3: you put these wax beads in there. I got this
- 47:15Speaker 3: cheap-ass wax, and it... Hardens too fast.
- 47:18Speaker 4: Remember I shared not too long ago that I went
- 47:20Speaker 4: to Target and those like wax strips, I tried to
- 47:23Speaker 4: put them in my ear.
- 47:25Speaker 8: Oh.
- 47:25Speaker 4: For it to work.
- 47:26Speaker 3: It didn't work.
- 47:28Speaker 2: Menace, cheers and jeers.
- 47:29Speaker 4: Well, all you people out there hanging on AI saying
- 47:32Speaker 4: that AI is the end of all of us. But
- 47:35Speaker 4: guess what? AI is doing what we've been saying, processing
- 47:38Speaker 4: all this information about research and they're fast tracking a
- 47:42Speaker 4: lot of stuff. and uh pancreatic cancer which is yes
- 47:46Speaker 4: very deadly yeah i you know i practiced saying that
- 47:49Speaker 4: many times before i said on air but it still
- 47:51Speaker 4: didn't come through nope but uh like it's the most
- 47:55Speaker 4: brutal cancer out there they just fast-tracked and approved for
- 47:59Speaker 4: through the fda a new drug that's uh a treatment
- 48:03Speaker 4: and they said that like once you start taking it
- 48:05Speaker 4: taking it immediately it starts uh making you feel better
- 48:09Speaker 4: they said that people are like returning to work now
- 48:11Speaker 4: it's not a Not a cure, they say, but it
- 48:14Speaker 4: has disappeared with some people.
- 48:17Speaker 2: So that is absolutely great. That stuff's so cool, man.
- 48:19Speaker 3: Super cool. Super cool.
- 48:21Speaker 4: So shout out to AI.
- 48:22Speaker 3: For helping them do that.
- 48:24Speaker 4: And then my jeers is I was really excited about
- 48:28Speaker 4: a fight that was going to happen with an internet
- 48:30Speaker 4: personality known as Gorlock the Destroyer.
- 48:33Speaker 2: Oh, that giant fat chick?
- 48:36Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 48:37Speaker 4: The doctor.
- 48:38Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 48:38Speaker 3: Over 342 pounds. But.
- 48:40Speaker 2: Is she the one that's always talking about how guys
- 48:42Speaker 2: are buying her all kinds of stuff?
- 48:43Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 48:43Speaker 4: Birkins and stuff.
- 48:44Speaker 5: Who?
- 48:45Speaker 3: I'd love to meet... Where are these guys?
- 48:47Speaker 5: Just one.
- 48:47Speaker 3: Just show us one.
- 48:48Speaker 4: Who are the other streamers that want to be like,
- 48:50Speaker 4: part of her content and stuff.
- 48:52Speaker 3: And there's chubby chasers too they call them torta pounders.
- 48:54Speaker 4: Yeah yeah for the yeah for the mexican ladies but
- 48:57Speaker 4: then uh but the fight got canceled because allegedly the
- 49:01Speaker 4: uh cartel burned down the the ring right before the
- 49:05Speaker 4: match the cartel yeah because it was happening in mexicali
- 49:10Speaker 4: and i it's funny that i uh that that happened
- 49:12Speaker 4: because i did see like some warning about going to
- 49:16Speaker 4: mexicali like a couple of days before, I guess a
- 49:18Speaker 4: lot of stuff is going down there. So, um, the
- 49:21Speaker 4: fight didn't happen. So I'm sad about that, but I'm
- 49:23Speaker 4: sure I'll get rescheduled and. happen somewhere else because they've
- 49:26Speaker 4: been building it up for a couple months now.
- 49:28Speaker 3: Yeah, well, to hold her, they've got to build it
- 49:29Speaker 3: up really good. Extra reinforcements in the boxing ring. But
- 49:34Speaker 3: I'm with Morgan, though.
- 49:35Speaker 4: All these influencer fights are way more entertaining than actual
- 49:39Speaker 4: boxing because the actual boxing... It's just guys just like
- 49:43Speaker 4: dancing around.
- 49:44Speaker 2: Well, the reason the influencer stuff is more interesting is
- 49:48Speaker 2: because you know the people involved.
- 49:50Speaker 5: No, but that and they're so bad.
- 49:53Speaker 4: They're so bad. And then somebody gets a good hook
- 49:56Speaker 4: in and they're just on the ground.
- 49:58Speaker 3: Oh, you know what I love?
- 49:59Speaker 2: And maybe because I see the stuff that Morgan posts.
- 50:02Speaker 2: And so I'm getting more fight stuff that's showing up
- 50:06Speaker 2: in the feed or these guys, they talk smack to
- 50:09Speaker 2: these MMA dudes about like, cause they're like, you know,
- 50:11Speaker 2: they think they're tough, like street fighter kind of guys,
- 50:14Speaker 2: you know, like a, like an online bully kind of person.
- 50:16Speaker 2: And then they go in there and they are, they're
- 50:18Speaker 2: like an MMA gym and they're getting their ass kicked
- 50:22Speaker 2: by these guys who really know how to fight. I mean,
- 50:25Speaker 2: they're getting there and they're just getting like, I mean,
- 50:28Speaker 2: To call it an ass-kicking.
- 50:30Speaker 3: Is really underselling it.
- 50:31Speaker 4: It's really gentle.
- 50:33Speaker 2: Yeah, because they just get up and they start flailing,
- 50:36Speaker 2: which might work, I guess, if you're fighting another person
- 50:39Speaker 2: who has no idea what they're doing and you're in
- 50:40Speaker 2: the street. But when you're going up against a person
- 50:45Speaker 2: who is trained.
- 50:46Speaker 3: Right. Kind of cheers for at least trying, you know?
- 50:51Speaker 3: I wouldn't be brave enough to even.
- 50:52Speaker 2: Get into a ring. Well, they were the ones who
- 50:54Speaker 2: were talking smack. Same to the MMA guy. I would
- 50:58Speaker 2: kick your ass. The guy's like, all right, well, come
- 51:00Speaker 2: on by. It's like an open invite, and they invite
- 51:04Speaker 2: these guys who want to talk tough online.
- 51:06Speaker 3: Hey, come on and be about it. If an MMA
- 51:09Speaker 3: guy gets you on the ground, you're done. It's over.
- 51:12Speaker 2: And that's the thing, like, you know, this guy would
- 51:13Speaker 2: trip over himself.
- 51:14Speaker 3: He'd be on the ground.
- 51:15Speaker 2: And that's when the dude could have just pounced on him.
- 51:17Speaker 2: But he doesn't.
- 51:17Speaker 3: He goes, come on, pussy, get up.
- 51:19Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 51:19Speaker 2: You know, and he just knocks him right back down again.
- 51:22Speaker 2: Because he gets up and he starts leaning in. Like,
- 51:24Speaker 2: there was one. I'll have to post it on our Instagram.
- 51:28Speaker 3: I'll find it. I'll post it up there. But it's
- 51:29Speaker 3: pretty funny. I love those videos.
- 51:32Speaker 1: The Woody Show.
- 51:35Speaker 2: So we, you know, we have these meetings. We get
- 51:37Speaker 2: together and we talk about, hey, man, what's everybody got?
- 51:39Speaker 2: What's everybody feeling for the show? And, uh, it's, it's
- 51:43Speaker 2: very rare that like menace kind of goes, all right.
- 51:46Speaker 2: He starts with, all right. All right.
- 51:48Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 51:48Speaker 2: Like he's going to make a declaration.
- 51:50Speaker 1: I am.
- 51:50Speaker 5: He's got something to say.
- 51:51Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 51:51Speaker 2: Cause menace very clearly has something on his mind. Um,
- 51:55Speaker 2: and so like, based on that, he, um, he asked
- 51:58Speaker 2: all of us to, you know, come up with something. Uh,
- 52:01Speaker 2: it's called therefore I'm out. Therefore I'm out.
- 52:03Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 52:03Speaker 3: Yeah. Kind of like shark tank. Yeah.
- 52:06Speaker 4: It's just kind of like, you know what? Um, I'm
- 52:09Speaker 4: tired of hearing about it.
- 52:10Speaker 1: Right.
- 52:11Speaker 4: And it's like, My thing is, in the news, I
- 52:14Speaker 4: consume a lot of news. Like, I consume news all
- 52:17Speaker 4: day long. And when you start, like, hearing about stuff
- 52:21Speaker 4: over and over and over again, and at least this
- 52:25Speaker 4: is my story, and I can't get over the fact
- 52:31Speaker 4: that people are still interested in the Mangione case.
- 52:35Speaker 2: Like, we know what the outcome is.
- 52:37Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 52:38Speaker 4: We know what the outcome is.
- 52:40Speaker 3: He did it.
- 52:40Speaker 4: He pleaded guilty. Case closed.
- 52:43Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 52:43Speaker 5: What other spins on this do you have?
- 52:45Speaker 4: You don't need to keep on going over and over
- 52:47Speaker 4: and over again.
- 52:48Speaker 5: Every tiniest little update is a new story.
- 52:50Speaker 4: Somehow it doesn't need to be like that anymore. So
- 52:53Speaker 4: therefore I'm out dog. I don't need any more information.
- 52:57Speaker 4: We know what's going to happen. He's going to be
- 52:59Speaker 4: in jail for the rest of his life. And it's
- 53:02Speaker 4: not just him. It goes for other people like these
- 53:04Speaker 4: school shooters and they'll catch them or like, uh, or
- 53:08Speaker 4: they end up getting killed, you know, case closed on them. Uh, uh, Like, okay,
- 53:14Speaker 4: take care of the victims.
- 53:15Speaker 3: That's cool.
- 53:16Speaker 4: But to keep on bringing up stories and more information
- 53:19Speaker 4: about them, I don't need more information about them at all.
- 53:24Speaker 2: I'm out.
- 53:26Speaker 5: Is there a link between their favorite sandwich and what
- 53:28Speaker 5: they did? I'm sick of that, too.
- 53:29Speaker 4: I don't need any more information.
- 53:31Speaker 3: They were doing that.
- 53:33Speaker 2: I reached that point with a lot of these stories
- 53:34Speaker 2: where it's like, man, they're on that. Like the Savannah Guthrie,
- 53:38Speaker 2: the mom. You know, they had nothing, but they had
- 53:42Speaker 2: to have something in the news.
- 53:43Speaker 3: That was sort of update, non-update update. Yeah.
- 53:45Speaker 2: And that's why I'm like, hey, look, let me know
- 53:46Speaker 2: when they find her.
- 53:47Speaker 3: All right. At this point, let me know when they
- 53:48Speaker 3: find her.
- 53:49Speaker 5: Yeah. I get it.
- 53:52Speaker 2: Certain news outlets have an obsession, anything with Prince Harry
- 53:58Speaker 2: and Meghan Markle or. just in general, the royal family,
- 54:02Speaker 2: I've never understood that infatuation, unless you.
- 54:05Speaker 5: Live there, but like- I don't even think they care,
- 54:07Speaker 5: do they?
- 54:07Speaker 3: Therefore, I'm out on that kind of stuff.
- 54:11Speaker 2: Mine is the AI overreaction, either way.
- 54:19Speaker 5: The outrage?
- 54:20Speaker 2: Either overreaction positive, overreaction negative. Like nobody really knows yet
- 54:26Speaker 2: how everything's gonna shake out. It's here, it's not going away.
- 54:29Speaker 2: But the people, we've talked about them before, that are like,
- 54:33Speaker 2: they're really upset. The outrage over the AI-generated flyers for
- 54:38Speaker 2: businesses and things. AI slop is now attached to everything. Oh,
- 54:42Speaker 2: did you see the story, Menace? Apple did this really
- 54:45Speaker 2: cool video. It's the new Mini Mac.
- 54:49Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 54:49Speaker 2: It kind of looks like an Apple TV, right? The
- 54:52Speaker 2: new Mini Mac. And they did this advertisement about, And
- 54:56Speaker 2: it's all animated, kind of looking like a claymation kind
- 54:59Speaker 2: of thing. And people were like, oh, even Apple's now
- 55:02Speaker 2: into the AI slob. And then they knew that was
- 55:05Speaker 2: going to be the reaction. And then right afterwards, they
- 55:07Speaker 2: put the making of the video where it's all the
- 55:09Speaker 2: artists doing the claymation stuff. And so it's a cool
- 55:15Speaker 2: looking ad. And also now that you know how they
- 55:16Speaker 2: did it. But people, they just go.
- 55:18Speaker 3: Immediately, AI slop.
- 55:20Speaker 2: You don't even know what.
- 55:21Speaker 3: You're talking about. Because they want to get likes on
- 55:23Speaker 3: their comments. Right, right.
- 55:24Speaker 2: All the other malcontents.
- 55:25Speaker 3: But that was a brilliant move by Apple.
- 55:27Speaker 6: By releasing it in that order, too, waiting for people
- 55:31Speaker 6: to bitch and then putting that out.
- 55:32Speaker 2: Yeah, I thought that was really good. Now, again, I've
- 55:37Speaker 2: not had a problem with the AI-generated flyers that you
- 55:40Speaker 2: see for things the way that other people do. Like,
- 55:42Speaker 2: I would never go to this place. I guess I
- 55:45Speaker 2: never really thought twice about it.
- 55:46Speaker 4: I don't care that much.
- 55:47Speaker 2: But there's a guy, Daniel Davidson, he's a graphic designer.
- 55:50Speaker 2: And his take on AI and why he's not outraged,
- 55:54Speaker 2: as a graphic designer, why he's not outraged about the
- 55:57Speaker 2: AI slot flyers, I thought was pretty interesting.
- 55:59Speaker 3: I'll share this. Here we go.
- 56:00Speaker 8: Dude, look at this. It's another AI flyer. These are
- 56:05Speaker 8: so bad. AI is killing design. Who made it? Some
- 56:10Speaker 8: local landscaping company. Is that something they would have hired
- 56:13Speaker 8: you for if there wasn't AI?
- 56:15Speaker 3: Well, maybe.
- 56:17Speaker 8: No, they would have made it in Word or grabbed
- 56:19Speaker 8: a template or asked somebody's nephew to throw something together.
- 56:22Speaker 8: That doesn't mean less work for designers. It just means
- 56:25Speaker 8: more people are making things they never would have paid
- 56:27Speaker 8: a designer to in the first place. But doesn't that
- 56:30Speaker 8: make what we do less valuable?
- 56:32Speaker 3: Why would it?
- 56:33Speaker 8: People who've thought good enough is good enough have always
- 56:36Speaker 8: thought that. AI didn't turn good clients into cheap clients.
- 56:39Speaker 8: It's just given the DIY clients a better tool. So
- 56:42Speaker 8: you're saying they never would have been clients anyways.
- 56:46Speaker 5: Most of them weren't.
- 56:48Speaker 8: And the businesses that actually care how they look, they're
- 56:51Speaker 8: still gonna hire somebody who knows what they're doing. even
- 56:54Speaker 8: when they can make something themselves. You can cut your
- 56:56Speaker 8: own hair too, but that doesn't mean anyone stopped going
- 56:58Speaker 8: to the barber.
- 56:59Speaker 2: I thought it was really interesting, you know, because again,
- 57:03Speaker 2: the people who are making those, the person that's got
- 57:05Speaker 2: the little sandwich shop on the corner in town, they
- 57:08Speaker 2: weren't hiring a big graphic design company or a graphic
- 57:10Speaker 2: designer to do it. An agency.
- 57:12Speaker 5: They were having their kid do it.
- 57:14Speaker 2: They were putting something together, they were taking it down
- 57:16Speaker 2: to OfficeMax to print it, and they were.
- 57:18Speaker 3: Putting it up.
- 57:19Speaker 5: That's a good point.
- 57:19Speaker 2: So on this whole AI outrage thing, For now, we'll
- 57:23Speaker 2: see how it shakes out. I get people, the unknown,
- 57:26Speaker 2: they're kind of like uncertain about the unknown. But like
- 57:29Speaker 2: for the panic and the AI slop comments, I'm out.
- 57:33Speaker 3: I'm out. Understood. Gina Grad.
- 57:35Speaker 8: All right.
- 57:36Speaker 5: Hot honey on everything.
- 57:38Speaker 6: It's not that good. Pizza was fine. Chips were fine.
- 57:42Speaker 6: Fries were all fine. And now we're just like, pouring
- 57:46Speaker 6: this sticky, sweet, spicy glop on everything because it's what, trendy?
- 57:51Speaker 6: Everybody has a hot honey now and you gotta pour
- 57:53Speaker 6: it on everything. I appreciate you trying hot honey.
- 57:57Speaker 5: But it's over. Please stop. It's gross. For that reason,
- 58:00Speaker 5: I'm out.
- 58:01Speaker 2: Yeah, it's the new thing on every menu.
- 58:04Speaker 5: I'm so done with it.
- 58:05Speaker 3: I like it.
- 58:06Speaker 4: Oh, my God.
- 58:07Speaker 5: Greg, report the problem.
- 58:08Speaker 3: This is delicious. Therefore, I'm in.
- 58:10Speaker 2: So good.
- 58:12Speaker 3: I'm still in.
- 58:13Speaker 13: So good.
- 58:13Speaker 5: But if this were a Shark Tank, Greg, you'd be in,
- 58:15Speaker 5: but you'd be screwed because you're riding the crest of
- 58:18Speaker 5: the wave. Yeah.
- 58:20Speaker 3: If you had been here... two years ago. Yeah, yeah.
- 58:22Speaker 2: What was the thing a couple years ago? Give me
- 58:24Speaker 2: an example of something. I'm trying to think of something
- 58:25Speaker 2: off the top of my head and I can't.
- 58:27Speaker 4: Oh, cupcakes. Or Nashville hops. Nashville hops.
- 58:30Speaker 5: Right.
- 58:33Speaker 3: That's Moscow mules.
- 58:34Speaker 5: The whole Chipotle. Like, no one heard of a Chipotle
- 58:37Speaker 5: pepper before 20 years ago.
- 58:38Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 58:39Speaker 5: But then it was Chipotle everything.
- 58:40Speaker 3: But then Chipotle... Right.
- 58:42Speaker 2: Place came out.
- 58:43Speaker 3: Right, exactly.
- 58:43Speaker 2: And then everybody's like, oh, Chipotle this, Chipotle that.
- 58:45Speaker 5: All right.
- 58:46Speaker 2: So, therefore, I'm out.
- 58:48Speaker 3: What is yours? Hit us up on the text.
- 58:50Speaker 2: We got more from Greg and Seabass and everybody else.
- 58:53Speaker 5: This is The Woody Show.
- 58:56Speaker 2: So Menace in a meeting says, guys, I have an
- 59:01Speaker 2: idea for a segment because, and he was talking about
- 59:04Speaker 2: how as a consumer of news, to the degree that
- 59:07Speaker 2: he is, he's really burned out on hearing about you know,
- 59:10Speaker 2: you know, stories from time to time. They're just like,
- 59:12Speaker 2: there's enough already. For him, it's Luigi, right?
- 59:16Speaker 3: Like we know he did it.
- 59:17Speaker 2: He's going to be going to prison and like, I
- 59:19Speaker 2: don't need to hear about it anymore. Now, now we're
- 59:20Speaker 2: going to please.
- 59:21Speaker 3: No more minutia.
- 59:22Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 59:22Speaker 2: It's almost like, please stop it.
- 59:23Speaker 5: Right.
- 59:23Speaker 2: But therefore I'm out. You know how the sharks will
- 59:26Speaker 2: kind of give you a, yeah. An explanation like, well,
- 59:29Speaker 2: you know, I just don't care. And there, for those reasons,
- 59:31Speaker 2: I'm out.
- 59:31Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 59:32Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 59:33Speaker 2: Hey, I'll add another one to the, to the list.
- 59:35Speaker 2: You were talking about hot, hot honey.
- 59:37Speaker 3: That was Gina's. So good.
- 59:39Speaker 2: Um, I don't know if I've had any of the
- 59:41Speaker 2: hot honey stuff yet, but one thing that I have
- 59:44Speaker 2: noticed is that, dude, do we just attach Wagyu to
- 59:47Speaker 2: everything now? I thought Wagyu was.
- 59:49Speaker 3: Supposed to be some kind of exclusive.
- 59:51Speaker 2: Yeah, some special thing, but it's like Wagyu hamburger?
- 59:54Speaker 6: Yeah, or Wagyu beef shavings at Subway.
- 1:00:00Speaker 2: If Wagyu was like this, why would you grind it
- 1:00:03Speaker 2: up and make it into a burger?
- 1:00:05Speaker 4: Because American Wagyu is a thing. And it's way cheaper
- 1:00:08Speaker 4: than Japanese. So they can attach Wagyu.
- 1:00:11Speaker 5: Is it the same?
- 1:00:12Speaker 4: The name sounds better.
- 1:00:13Speaker 3: Other than being cheaper, is it otherwise the same?
- 1:00:16Speaker 4: I don't think it is.
- 1:00:17Speaker 3: That's what I'm saying.
- 1:00:17Speaker 5: It's a wide difference in quality. It's a very low threshold.
- 1:00:20Speaker 5: There's no real law. Sometimes it's blended with other stuff.
- 1:00:25Speaker 6: You can charge another $ 10 if you put the word
- 1:00:27Speaker 6: Wagyu in front of it.
- 1:00:28Speaker 3: Right. Massaging the cows and giving them beer.
- 1:00:30Speaker 5: Giving them beer massages.
- 1:00:31Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 1:00:33Speaker 3: Greg Gorey. So if you are totally into something as
- 1:00:36Speaker 3: a hobby or as a way of life, like, oh,
- 1:00:38Speaker 3: I play golf 20 hours a day because I'm trying
- 1:00:42Speaker 3: to get good. You're just an avid golfer. You're not
- 1:00:45Speaker 3: a golf maxer. Everything is maxing, sleep maxing, fiber maxing,
- 1:00:53Speaker 3: gym maxing, protein maxing. So if you're into protein, eat protein.
- 1:00:57Speaker 3: If you're into going to the gym, go to the gym.
- 1:00:59Speaker 3: You're not maxing.
- 1:01:01Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 1:01:01Speaker 2: You're just trying to become famous. That's a very Seabass
- 1:01:04Speaker 2: argument of you.
- 1:01:05Speaker 5: That's very much like what I correctly say about hacking.
- 1:01:09Speaker 5: Everything you do to do to make a process better
- 1:01:11Speaker 5: is not hacking it.
- 1:01:12Speaker 3: Yeah. It's just maxing them. It's invaded my world and
- 1:01:16Speaker 3: it's like, therefore I'm out.
- 1:01:17Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 1:01:18Speaker 3: You're maxing.
- 1:01:19Speaker 2: You're out on the maxing slang.
- 1:01:21Speaker 3: Right.
- 1:01:21Speaker 1: Yes.
- 1:01:22Speaker 2: Because all these are things.
- 1:01:23Speaker 8: Right.
- 1:01:23Speaker 3: We all sleep.
- 1:01:25Speaker 5: Call it something else.
- 1:01:26Speaker 3: No, but that guy over there, he's a sleep maxer.
- 1:01:28Speaker 3: It's like in the 90s. Remember, everything was extreme.
- 1:01:31Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:01:31Speaker 5: Extreme.
- 1:01:33Speaker 3: Everything was extreme. Extreme do. Mountain do.
- 1:01:36Speaker 2: Extreme sports.
- 1:01:37Speaker 3: Extreme sports.
- 1:01:37Speaker 5: Well, it's all a version of everyone else is doing it.
- 1:01:39Speaker 2: Guess I might as well, too.
- 1:01:41Speaker 5: Not going to have an original thought.
- 1:01:42Speaker 3: In my head. Sea bass.
- 1:01:44Speaker 5: Uh, I, mine is similar to a menace is, but
- 1:01:47Speaker 5: it's with the, and I'm not, don't even correct me.
- 1:01:50Speaker 3: Okay.
- 1:01:51Speaker 5: The woman who killed her kids. Don't want to hear
- 1:01:53Speaker 5: about it. Don't care.
- 1:01:55Speaker 3: Now I understand.
- 1:01:55Speaker 4: What's her name?
- 1:01:56Speaker 3: I understand.
- 1:01:56Speaker 5: No, don't, no, no, please.
- 1:01:57Speaker 3: Oh, okay.
- 1:01:58Speaker 5: Now I understand there's a certain demographic we just heard
- 1:02:00Speaker 5: a wine from that loves this stuff. Women in their
- 1:02:04Speaker 5: 25 to 45. They, oh my God, that's the whole
- 1:02:07Speaker 5: murder porn ID network, et cetera, et cetera. That, that
- 1:02:10Speaker 5: whole genre. They love that stuff. That doesn't mean we
- 1:02:13Speaker 5: need to hear about it every second. Like what Menace
- 1:02:14Speaker 5: is saying, I want to hear every tiniest little blah, blah,
- 1:02:17Speaker 5: blah update. Did she do it? Did she not do it? Guilty,
- 1:02:20Speaker 5: you know, blah, blah, blah. If you want to get
- 1:02:21Speaker 5: into that, great. But Menace is saying it's everything, every day,
- 1:02:25Speaker 5: main feed of everything, which I get because it's getting clicks.
- 1:02:29Speaker 5: It sells to, you know, the... The lonely woman category,
- 1:02:33Speaker 5: I guess.
- 1:02:33Speaker 3: Here we.
- 1:02:36Speaker 8: Go.
- 1:02:36Speaker 3: Are you feeling attacked?
- 1:02:37Speaker 5: A little bit. We talked about the psychology, why women
- 1:02:41Speaker 5: love murder porn. My mom, an OG, would watch whatever,
- 1:02:45Speaker 5: like Dateline, all that stuff.
- 1:02:46Speaker 2: Let me ask Gina, because you are into all that stuff.
- 1:02:48Speaker 2: What is it about that genre?
- 1:02:50Speaker 3: That's a good question.
- 1:02:51Speaker 2: Because, man, if she has five minutes of time in
- 1:02:54Speaker 2: her day, it's on one of those shows.
- 1:02:56Speaker 8: Absolutely.
- 1:02:56Speaker 3: Absolutely.
- 1:02:57Speaker 6: I like I like a mystery, but that you're talking
- 1:03:00Speaker 6: about the stuff that's reality, not just like, you know, murder.
- 1:03:02Speaker 3: She wrote.
- 1:03:02Speaker 2: Oh, no, no, not that stuff.
- 1:03:04Speaker 3: But you'll watch. I forget what the show is.
- 1:03:06Speaker 5: That Dateline 2020, all of those. That's a great question.
- 1:03:10Speaker 6: I think Seabass unfortunately might be right in the psychology
- 1:03:12Speaker 6: of it.
- 1:03:14Speaker 5: The psychology of.
- 1:03:16Speaker 6: What is wrong with this person and what would make
- 1:03:18Speaker 6: somebody do something like this. I think that's like catnip
- 1:03:21Speaker 6: to women like me. It's just we love seeing the
- 1:03:24Speaker 6: outliers and the extent that they'll go.
- 1:03:28Speaker 2: See, as much as I love violent movies, gangster movies,
- 1:03:30Speaker 2: all those kind of things, I don't really enjoy the
- 1:03:33Speaker 2: true crime stuff.
- 1:03:34Speaker 3: The real life stuff. But I do.
- 1:03:37Speaker 6: Want to make a caveat that I feel like I
- 1:03:38Speaker 6: have to make sometimes. For me anyway, and I think
- 1:03:40Speaker 6: for a lot of people, it's not the murder stuff.
- 1:03:42Speaker 5: It's the catfishing.
- 1:03:43Speaker 6: It's the scammers. I don't know a lot of people
- 1:03:46Speaker 6: who are into the murder, murder stuff, but I know
- 1:03:48Speaker 6: it's a thing. But that's not. There's shows based on
- 1:03:52Speaker 6: my husband's murder.
- 1:03:52Speaker 2: Well, it's just crime.
- 1:03:53Speaker 8: Crime.
- 1:03:54Speaker 2: It's not necessarily murder. It's just crime in general.
- 1:03:57Speaker 5: There's a reason this, I almost said her name, so
- 1:03:59Speaker 5: I think I figured it out. There's a reason this
- 1:04:01Speaker 5: woman is in the, she's not doing it because she's
- 1:04:03Speaker 5: a white collar criminal. She killed her children.
- 1:04:05Speaker 3: That's why the. Don't correct me.
- 1:04:09Speaker 5: The woman in Florida with her kid and JonBenet Ramsey, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah.
- 1:04:14Speaker 5: The murder is the bigger hook than anything else. Well,
- 1:04:16Speaker 5: the question is.
- 1:04:17Speaker 6: What would drive somebody to do that? And women just
- 1:04:20Speaker 6: love trying to figure out that answer.
- 1:04:22Speaker 5: That's why they love psychology. The vast majority of people
- 1:04:25Speaker 5: in that field are women. They love talking about thoughts
- 1:04:28Speaker 5: and feelings and interpersonal stuff.
- 1:04:30Speaker 3: Jeff G.
- 1:04:32Speaker 9: I am out on social media medical advice. I don't
- 1:04:35Speaker 9: want to hear about your stupid ashwagandha, CMOS, beta blockers, peptides.
- 1:04:42Speaker 9: I'm out on the social media platforms for letting this happen.
- 1:04:45Speaker 9: And I'm out on the idiots who buy.
- 1:04:47Speaker 4: All this crap.
- 1:04:48Speaker 3: I'm out. Just because, first of all, they're not giving you,
- 1:04:51Speaker 3: this is not a real doctor. Okay?
- 1:04:53Speaker 9: Just because he puts on a white coat and has
- 1:04:55Speaker 9: a stethoscope doesn't mean he's a doctor.
- 1:04:57Speaker 3: Okay?
- 1:04:57Speaker 9: He's selling you a product. This is all marketing. This
- 1:05:00Speaker 9: is not genuine advice. Go to a real doctor. Get
- 1:05:03Speaker 9: real blood tests. Get real advice. Don't get your medical advice.
- 1:05:06Speaker 2: What were peptides called before? Supplements? yeah like peptide seems
- 1:05:12Speaker 2: to be one of those terms like maxing I don't
- 1:05:15Speaker 2: know two years ago you never heard anybody say peptide
- 1:05:20Speaker 2: but these things were for different.
- 1:05:21Speaker 4: I didn't hear peptide until it was an injectable so
- 1:05:25Speaker 4: I don't know is that why they call it a peptide?
- 1:05:27Speaker 5: Peptides are a thing it's a short chain of amino
- 1:05:31Speaker 5: acids it's not a protein it's not quite a hormone
- 1:05:34Speaker 5: but it's the building blocks of said thing so is
- 1:05:38Speaker 5: it new though? No, I mean, like, peptide chains, like,
- 1:05:41Speaker 5: you learned that in high school biology. Yeah, but, like,
- 1:05:43Speaker 5: what were we calling these things before?
- 1:05:45Speaker 3: That's a good question.
- 1:05:45Speaker 2: You know, like, if you were getting, you know, whatever for...
- 1:05:48Speaker 2: Was it just amino acids?
- 1:05:48Speaker 4: I think you're right.
- 1:05:49Speaker 5: I think supplements. And that was a wide range of things.
- 1:05:54Speaker 3: I don't think that's the same. No, because it's not
- 1:05:55Speaker 3: the same because.
- 1:05:56Speaker 2: It's a different.
- 1:05:57Speaker 6: Well, peptides are a supplement, though.
- 1:05:59Speaker 3: Right. I'll look it up. Hold on.
- 1:06:01Speaker 6: But while you say that, Jeff, you know, there's a very,
- 1:06:03Speaker 6: you must, if you're, if you're so over this, you know,
- 1:06:06Speaker 6: there's a very popular person on Instagram called the medical medium.
- 1:06:10Speaker 6: And he speaks to a single disembodied voice.
- 1:06:13Speaker 5: He calls the spirit of compassion.
- 1:06:14Speaker 6: And that's where he gets his medical advice.
- 1:06:16Speaker 3: Oh, good.
- 1:06:16Speaker 8: Sweet.
- 1:06:17Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:06:17Speaker 2: I love the people to go. I'm not going to
- 1:06:19Speaker 2: the doctor for this cancer.
- 1:06:20Speaker 5: I'm going to drink celery juice.
- 1:06:22Speaker 3: I'm going to do whatever. Good. And you know what?
- 1:06:25Speaker 2: There are cows not along, not along for the, for
- 1:06:28Speaker 2: the long haul.
- 1:06:28Speaker 10: Yeah. Nah.
- 1:06:30Speaker 3: Um let's see are you looking it.
- 1:06:31Speaker 5: Up yeah amino acid supplements was basically but they weren't
- 1:06:35Speaker 5: they weren't nearly as trendy or.
- 1:06:37Speaker 2: Oh yeah it's just the word now just peptide peptide peptide.
- 1:06:41Speaker 5: It can't hurt you it's just a peptide.
- 1:06:43Speaker 2: Right like what where did this come from all of
- 1:06:45Speaker 2: a sudden.
- 1:06:45Speaker 10: Sammy i am out on i guess sort of the
- 1:06:49Speaker 10: trying to capitalize on celebrity deaths i have been getting
- 1:06:53Speaker 10: targeted so much of Watch Nashville.
- 1:06:55Speaker 11: Right after Hayden passed away. Watch nine to five right
- 1:06:58Speaker 11: after Dolly passed away. And I get that it's like
- 1:07:00Speaker 11: you're thinking about it, but it's not showing that it's
- 1:07:02Speaker 11: trending or any of these things.
- 1:07:04Speaker 10: They're just trying to push it because they're like, oh,
- 1:07:06Speaker 10: this person passed away here. Let's try to get more
- 1:07:08Speaker 10: people on our platform.
- 1:07:10Speaker 11: To watch and whatever. And I'm over it. I because
- 1:07:13Speaker 11: it kind of.
- 1:07:14Speaker 4: I don't know.
- 1:07:15Speaker 10: I feel like it's sick in our society and it's
- 1:07:17Speaker 10: become normalized, but I don't think it should be.
- 1:07:20Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:07:20Speaker 6: Well, and I think you asked me and not that
- 1:07:22Speaker 6: this is what you're talking about, but you said the
- 1:07:24Speaker 6: day after Dolly Parton died, like, so are you going
- 1:07:25Speaker 6: to go home and watch like nine to five or
- 1:07:27Speaker 6: listen to music?
- 1:07:28Speaker 5: I'm like, not more than any other day.
- 1:07:30Speaker 8: Right.
- 1:07:30Speaker 5: Like I was already doing that or I wasn't doing that.
- 1:07:32Speaker 3: I understand why people do that. Yeah.
- 1:07:34Speaker 2: You know, because now they're thinking about them.
- 1:07:36Speaker 3: Yeah. kind of took part in it. I found a
- 1:07:39Speaker 3: Dolly Parton documentary and I thought, well, she just died.
- 1:07:42Speaker 5: I think I should watch it. That's different.
- 1:07:44Speaker 6: You're learning about her, first of all. And also what
- 1:07:46Speaker 6: Sammy's saying is, oh, so watch Nashville because she's from Nashville.
- 1:07:49Speaker 5: You know, it's like trying to glom on to her death.
- 1:07:52Speaker 11: It's the companies trying to do it.
- 1:07:53Speaker 10: Not if you go, oh, I want to watch this
- 1:07:55Speaker 10: documentary on Dolly or whatever because I'm thinking about it.
- 1:07:58Speaker 11: That's fine. But the companies, the second something like that
- 1:08:00Speaker 11: happens goes like, what do we have of this person
- 1:08:02Speaker 11: that we can push out?
- 1:08:03Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:08:04Speaker 2: Well, cause they've seen it a billion times over like
- 1:08:06Speaker 2: a musician dies and their catalog goes crazy and all
- 1:08:09Speaker 2: the streaming services, because now everybody's seeking it out.
- 1:08:11Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 1:08:11Speaker 4: That happened with Oliver tree. Uh, Logan Paul actually called
- 1:08:14Speaker 4: that out because Oliver tree played some music when he
- 1:08:18Speaker 4: did an interview and with him on his YouTube page
- 1:08:21Speaker 4: and he demonetized it. So it wouldn't get flagged. But
- 1:08:26Speaker 4: the day after, um, Oliver Tree died, his record label
- 1:08:31Speaker 4: allegedly turned the monetization back on.
- 1:08:34Speaker 5: Well, that makes sense.
- 1:08:35Speaker 4: Why did he do that?
- 1:08:36Speaker 3: What?
- 1:08:37Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 1:08:37Speaker 3: No way.
- 1:08:38Speaker 4: The day after he died.
- 1:08:39Speaker 8: 877-44-WOODY.
- 1:08:39Speaker 2: Send us a text over to 22987. Yeah, I'm all
- 1:08:41Speaker 2: out on everything being matcha.
- 1:08:47Speaker 5: Matcha's so gross. You don't like matcha. You like cream
- 1:08:50Speaker 5: and sugar. You don't like the matcha part. I don't
- 1:08:52Speaker 5: know if I've ever had it. It tastes like grass.
- 1:08:54Speaker 5: 50 million teenage women.
- 1:08:57Speaker 2: Everyone using the phrase triggered, triggering, show.
- 1:09:00Speaker 3: The F up. Walk away. Don't listen.
- 1:09:04Speaker 2: Or better yet, who gives an ish? Don't let somebody
- 1:09:06Speaker 2: else ruin your day.
- 1:09:07Speaker 3: Therefore, I'm out.
- 1:09:09Speaker 2: Stop it with that phrase.
- 1:09:10Speaker 4: Well said.
- 1:09:10Speaker 5: All right.
- 1:09:11Speaker 2: More Woody shows next.
- 1:09:12Speaker 3: Hang on.
- 1:09:12Speaker 11: Do you think this is funny?
- 1:09:14Speaker 2: Do you think this is funny?
- 1:09:16Speaker 4: The Woody Show.
- 1:09:23Speaker 2: Well, I wonder how this is going to go. Will
- 1:09:27Speaker 2: it be another contentious round?
- 1:09:29Speaker 5: No, never.
- 1:09:30Speaker 3: What are you talking about?
- 1:09:32Speaker 2: Would it show weakest link?
- 1:09:35Speaker 3: Never contentious.
- 1:09:37Speaker 2: Would it show weakest link?
- 1:09:40Speaker 5: Always friendly.
- 1:09:41Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:09:43Speaker 3: Never any kind of argument.
- 1:09:45Speaker 2: So just like the TV version, Greg's going to have
- 1:09:48Speaker 2: a bunch of questions go around the room. Now, we
- 1:09:51Speaker 2: have to try to get Eight?
- 1:09:53Speaker 3: Yes.
- 1:09:53Speaker 2: Eight correct in the one minute that we have. It's
- 1:09:57Speaker 2: been done before.
- 1:09:59Speaker 3: It has happened.
- 1:10:00Speaker 2: It doesn't happen very often, but it has happened.
- 1:10:03Speaker 3: Easily can happen. Yeah.
- 1:10:06Speaker 2: And then if that happens, Greg has to buy us
- 1:10:08Speaker 2: a meal.
- 1:10:08Speaker 4: Yes.
- 1:10:09Speaker 5: I want the new mini chicken and waffle sandwich from Chick-fil-A, Greg.
- 1:10:13Speaker 3: Oh, yeah. Oh, okay. I'll get you one of those.
- 1:10:15Speaker 2: I did have that for the first time. Lucky.
- 1:10:17Speaker 8: It's good.
- 1:10:17Speaker 3: It's good.
- 1:10:18Speaker 2: Yeah, it's really good. They give it like a little
- 1:10:20Speaker 2: side of syrup.
- 1:10:21Speaker 3: Don't even need it. You don't even need it. There's
- 1:10:24Speaker 3: some bacon on there.
- 1:10:25Speaker 5: Okay. That's what I was worried about.
- 1:10:27Speaker 3: Emergent syrup.
- 1:10:28Speaker 5: I've gotten that style of breakfast sandwich or just sandwich
- 1:10:31Speaker 5: sandwich at a gas station and it's always too dry.
- 1:10:34Speaker 3: Mad dry.
- 1:10:35Speaker 2: Not mad dry.
- 1:10:36Speaker 5: Nice and damp.
- 1:10:38Speaker 2: It was mad good and it's available all day long.
- 1:10:40Speaker 5: Okay. You know what we want.
- 1:10:42Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 1:10:42Speaker 3: Chick-fil-A. Not a sponsor, but they could be.
- 1:10:44Speaker 2: God forbid.
- 1:10:44Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:10:45Speaker 3: Literally God. All right.
- 1:10:46Speaker 2: Welcome to The Weakest Link.
- 1:10:50Speaker 3: Before we begin, you guys get to choose who goes first. Menace. Okay,
- 1:10:54Speaker 3: so it'll be Menace. And it's Jeff playing. I've never played,
- 1:10:57Speaker 3: so explain and I'm happy to.
- 1:10:59Speaker 5: You just answer the trivia as fast as you can.
- 1:11:00Speaker 3: Answer the trivia questions as fast as you can.
- 1:11:03Speaker 2: And you have to throw out an answer. You can't
- 1:11:05Speaker 2: just go, I don't know.
- 1:11:06Speaker 8: Okay.
- 1:11:07Speaker 3: And then at the end, you guys collectively decide who
- 1:11:10Speaker 3: is the weakest link and they'll be eliminated from the game.
- 1:11:12Speaker 8: Yes.
- 1:11:12Speaker 3: Oh, okay.
- 1:11:13Speaker 9: I'm in.
- 1:11:13Speaker 5: And you can vote for yourself.
- 1:11:15Speaker 3: Yeah. And you cannot vote for yourself. No, you cannot
- 1:11:16Speaker 3: vote for yourself.
- 1:11:18Speaker 2: You can't vote for yourself.
- 1:11:19Speaker 3: All right. You ready, Greg? I am ready. And we're
- 1:11:21Speaker 3: starting with Menace. Here we go. Okay, Menace. What old-timey
- 1:11:24Speaker 3: movie is credited with popularizing the little black dress? Some
- 1:11:30Speaker 3: like it hot. Breakfast at Tiffany's. Gina, the Jets and

- 1:11:51Speaker 3: word meaning what?
- 1:11:52Speaker 8: Head?
- 1:11:54Speaker 3: What did you say?
- 1:11:55Speaker 1: Head.
- 1:11:55Speaker 3: Oh, peppermint. Sammy, cherry, plum, and grape are all varieties
- 1:11:59Speaker 3: of what fruit?
- 1:12:01Speaker 5: A berry. Tomato.

- 1:12:21Speaker 3: directed the movie American Graffiti? Francis Ford Coppola. George Lucas.
- 1:12:28Speaker 4: We only got four.
- 1:12:30Speaker 3: Yeah, we only got four.
- 1:12:32Speaker 5: Everyone pretty much missed one, except for Woody. He didn't
- 1:12:34Speaker 5: have a chance to.
- 1:12:34Speaker 14: What about me?
- 1:12:35Speaker 3: I will say this.
- 1:12:36Speaker 5: Manish, you got one right.
- 1:12:38Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 1:12:38Speaker 5: The worst miss by far. And we all know who
- 1:12:40Speaker 5: she was. The ums and the ahs.
- 1:12:43Speaker 11: Okay, Seamus, you missed too.
- 1:12:44Speaker 3: Well, they missed one.
- 1:12:46Speaker 1: Sammy.
- 1:12:46Speaker 3: I'm stalling.
- 1:12:47Speaker 2: Well, yeah, because that's the whole thing. We only have
- 1:12:49Speaker 2: a minute to get eight.
- 1:12:51Speaker 5: But to be fair.
- 1:12:51Speaker 2: And it kind of wasted time there. If you don't
- 1:12:53Speaker 2: know it, you're better off just giving any answer.
- 1:12:56Speaker 8: Yes.
- 1:12:56Speaker 3: Move on to the next person.
- 1:12:57Speaker 5: I thought the answer was going to be stone fruit.
- 1:12:59Speaker 5: Those are tomatoes.
- 1:13:01Speaker 2: From a strategic standpoint.
- 1:13:04Speaker 3: All right.
- 1:13:04Speaker 2: So we'll let Menace. You went first.
- 1:13:06Speaker 3: You vote first. Who's the weakest link? Sammy.
- 1:13:10Speaker 1: All right. Sammy.
- 1:13:12Speaker 2: Sammy, who gets your vote?
- 1:13:13Speaker 11: Seabass.
- 1:13:14Speaker 3: Seabass who gets your vote.
- 1:13:16Speaker 5: I think we know the worst player was Sammy.
- 1:13:19Speaker 3: All right. Greg. I'm not voting. Gina.
- 1:13:22Speaker 5: Sammy.
- 1:13:23Speaker 3: Sammy.
- 1:13:23Speaker 2: All right.
- 1:13:24Speaker 3: Well, that's it. My bad.
- 1:13:25Speaker 5: Bye. You are the weakest link.
- 1:13:27Speaker 3: Lucky.
- 1:13:27Speaker 2: Goodbye. Don't want pressure.
- 1:13:29Speaker 5: What do you want?
- 1:13:30Speaker 4: You should want breakfast. I like Sam's answers, and sometimes
- 1:13:33Speaker 4: she gets them right.
- 1:13:34Speaker 5: She's the queen of stammering.
- 1:13:38Speaker 3: Are you ready? Okay, so we start here with Gina,
- 1:13:40Speaker 3: is that correct?
- 1:13:40Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 1:13:41Speaker 5: Did menace go there?
- 1:13:42Speaker 3: No. Woody, you start with Woody. I'm going to start
- 1:13:44Speaker 3: with Woody. Start with me, because Jeff had the last question. Okay.
- 1:13:47Speaker 3: All right, Greg, you ready? I am ready. All right,
- 1:13:49Speaker 3: here we go. Woody, what Looney Tunes characters often use

- 1:14:55Speaker 2: That's five. We started hot.
- 1:14:58Speaker 3: We started hot. Damn it. Felt good.
- 1:15:00Speaker 5: Now, both Jeff and Menace missed two.
- 1:15:02Speaker 3: Mm-hmm.
- 1:15:04Speaker 5: I feel like Jeff is trying better than Menace. Now,
- 1:15:06Speaker 5: Menace is playing the game properly, but if he's just
- 1:15:09Speaker 5: a wasted spot.
- 1:15:10Speaker 8: No.
- 1:15:10Speaker 2: If he's just a, I love America.
- 1:15:13Speaker 3: If it helps, I knew a lot of the other questions.
- 1:15:16Speaker 3: I just didn't know mine.
- 1:15:17Speaker 5: That's the way the game is.
- 1:15:18Speaker 3: No, no, no.
- 1:15:19Speaker 5: Jeff at least is making educated guesses, though. And I
- 1:15:22Speaker 5: want to keep Menace around for comedy. Those sandwiches sounded
- 1:15:27Speaker 5: really good. Therefore, I'm voting for Gina.
- 1:15:30Speaker 2: All right, Gina, who did you vote?
- 1:15:32Speaker 5: That made no sense. I mean, I want the sandwich,
- 1:15:35Speaker 5: so I'm going to vote for Menace.
- 1:15:37Speaker 3: All right.
- 1:15:38Speaker 2: Menace, who gets your vote?
- 1:15:40Speaker 8: Gina.
- 1:15:43Speaker 3: Jessie, who gets your vote?
- 1:15:44Speaker 2: Good by me.
- 1:15:46Speaker 8: Gina.
- 1:15:46Speaker 4: Yes.
- 1:15:47Speaker 3: Gina. All right, well, Gina, go ahead.
- 1:15:48Speaker 2: You are the weakest link.
- 1:15:50Speaker 5: Do good, everybody.
- 1:15:51Speaker 3: Do well. Again, lucky.
- 1:15:54Speaker 5: I know, right?
- 1:15:55Speaker 2: Can I trade?
- 1:15:55Speaker 8: Nope. Oh.
- 1:15:56Speaker 3: So no Gina, no Sammy, is that right?
- 1:15:59Speaker 5: Just these really smart dudes.
- 1:16:00Speaker 3: Oh, sausage.
- 1:16:01Speaker 5: You'll know that I was perfect.
- 1:16:03Speaker 3: There we go. Now, who starts this round? I'll go.
- 1:16:07Speaker 5: Seabass.

- 1:17:07Speaker 5: Nine with the clue to the Q.
- 1:17:09Speaker 8: 16. What?
- 1:17:09Speaker 3: Menace, in the movie My Big Fat Greek Wedding, what
- 1:17:12Speaker 3: did Tula's parents give her as a wedding gift?
- 1:17:14Speaker 4: Nose job?
- 1:17:15Speaker 5: House.
- 1:17:18Speaker 8: And? Eight.
- 1:17:19Speaker 2: We got eight.
- 1:17:20Speaker 5: Yes.
- 1:17:20Speaker 3: Eight wrong. Eight wrong.
- 1:17:23Speaker 11: Mostly Seabass got them wrong.
- 1:17:25Speaker 3: Yes, dude. Seabass, what's going on with you today?
- 1:17:27Speaker 5: Well, first off, I swept correctly on the previous round.
- 1:17:31Speaker 5: Those were not general knowledge.
- 1:17:34Speaker 2: Today's weakest link, I think, has been by far your
- 1:17:37Speaker 2: weakest performance.
- 1:17:38Speaker 5: I would agree with that, but again, it's all.
- 1:17:40Speaker 3: What's going on?
- 1:17:41Speaker 5: That is a... Those were small... Well, the sodium bicarbonate
- 1:17:44Speaker 5: one I should have gotten.
- 1:17:46Speaker 1: Right.
- 1:17:46Speaker 5: That one was the one most in your wheelhouse. Those
- 1:17:49Speaker 5: were narrower questions. And these were the least amount right
- 1:17:52Speaker 5: without Sammy and I. You got three.
- 1:17:55Speaker 8: Mm-hmm.
- 1:17:55Speaker 11: That's true.
- 1:17:56Speaker 5: Just something to think about.
- 1:17:57Speaker 8: Yeah. Okay.
- 1:17:58Speaker 3: Well, at least you're not taking it personally.
- 1:18:01Speaker 5: The numbers don't lie. I thought they were eliminated from the.
- 1:18:04Speaker 3: The numbers don't lie. All right. Well, let's see.
- 1:18:07Speaker 2: Menace, who gets your vote?
- 1:18:09Speaker 3: Oh, God. Jeff, sorry. No problem.
- 1:18:13Speaker 2: All right, Jeff.
- 1:18:15Speaker 1: Menace.
- 1:18:15Speaker 8: Menace.
- 1:18:16Speaker 3: All right, Seabass.
- 1:18:17Speaker 5: Well, it's got to be Jeff, then.
- 1:18:19Speaker 3: Jeff? All right, Jeff.
- 1:18:20Speaker 11: You are the weakest link.
- 1:18:21Speaker 2: Yes.
- 1:18:22Speaker 5: Come on.
- 1:18:23Speaker 13: I know.
- 1:18:23Speaker 2: It does feel good.
- 1:18:24Speaker 4: Dude, right?
- 1:18:25Speaker 2: Too much pressure.
- 1:18:26Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:18:27Speaker 3: I like it, but I can go back to taking notes.
- 1:18:31Speaker 2: Too much pressure.
- 1:18:32Speaker 3: All right, one more round. We're down to Woody.
- 1:18:35Speaker 5: This is how you build drama. The darkest dark was
- 1:18:39Speaker 5: before the dawn or something.
- 1:18:40Speaker 3: Sure.
- 1:18:40Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 1:18:40Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 1:18:41Speaker 3: Okay, so who starts this round?
- 1:18:43Speaker 2: If the question was, what is the quote? I'm not
- 1:18:45Speaker 2: sure we would have gotten that one either.
- 1:18:47Speaker 3: Does Menace start this round?
- 1:18:48Speaker 13: Sure.
- 1:18:48Speaker 3: Yeah, let's do it. All right, here we go.
- 1:18:50Speaker 5: We go.
- 1:18:50Speaker 3: One last round.
- 1:18:50Speaker 2: What do you show weakest link?
- 1:18:52Speaker 3: Menace, Ted Kaczynski is better known by what one name? Oh,
- 1:18:56Speaker 3: the killer. The Unabomber. Woody, the Schwartz is a magical
- 1:19:00Speaker 3: power taught by yogurt in what movie? Spaceballs. Correct. Seabass,
- 1:19:05Speaker 3: which animal has caca that is shaped like a cube? Easy.
- 1:19:09Speaker 8: Wallaby?
- 1:19:10Speaker 3: Wombat. Venice, who are the two villains in the movie
- 1:19:12Speaker 3: Batman Returns?
- 1:19:14Speaker 4: Joker and Iceman.
- 1:19:18Speaker 3: The Penguin and Catwoman. Damn it. Woody, which of the
- 1:19:20Speaker 3: seven dwarves comes first alphabetically? Sleepy. Bashful.
- 1:19:25Speaker 5: Oh, come on.
- 1:19:25Speaker 3: Seabass, if you're making the French dessert of Crepes Suzette,
- 1:19:28Speaker 3: what flavor of fruit liqueur would you be using? Strawberry. Orange. Menace,
- 1:19:33Speaker 3: which NFL team was inspired by a famous writer? Team name. L.
- 1:19:37Speaker 3: Ron Hubbard. The Baltimore Ravens. Woody, what is the chemical
- 1:19:41Speaker 3: name for the mineral known as fool's gold? Quartz. Iron sulfide. Seabass,
- 1:19:46Speaker 3: what billionaire piloted the first hot air balloon to ever
- 1:19:50Speaker 3: cross the Atlantic? Hartford. No. Who was it?
- 1:19:56Speaker 5: Yeah, go for it.
- 1:19:57Speaker 3: Yeah, that's... What's his name? What is it? Leo. I
- 1:20:01Speaker 3: love America. What's that?
- 1:20:03Speaker 5: That's the Spruce Goose, bud.
- 1:20:03Speaker 3: No, not him.
- 1:20:05Speaker 4: No, not him?
- 1:20:05Speaker 3: No. He's still of this world. Oh, he is?
- 1:20:09Speaker 4: Oh, then that would be Bezos, right?
- 1:20:11Speaker 3: Richard Branson. Branson.
- 1:20:12Speaker 4: Oh, damn.
- 1:20:13Speaker 2: That's what I'd be saying.
- 1:20:14Speaker 3: Damn.
- 1:20:15Speaker 5: Do you guys want to know how many you got? Nope.
- 1:20:16Speaker 8: No.
- 1:20:17Speaker 3: Sure don't.
- 1:20:17Speaker 2: If they play What a Show, weakest link.
- 1:20:19Speaker 11: It is time to renew.
- 1:20:21Speaker 3: Yeah. All right. And you have to renew it? I mean,
- 1:20:27Speaker 3: every year.
- 1:20:27Speaker 5: Well, every year. Well, you can buy a lifetime membership
- 1:20:29Speaker 5: for life.
- 1:20:29Speaker 2: To make sure you're still as smart?
- 1:20:31Speaker 5: You don't have to retest. You just have to rebuy.
- 1:20:33Speaker 5: If you want the magazine, you want.
- 1:20:34Speaker 2: To go to all the cool meetings.
- 1:20:38Speaker 5: I went to a Mensa meeting outside of Nashville.
- 1:20:42Speaker 3: Oh, sweet.
- 1:20:42Speaker 5: It's interesting.
- 1:20:43Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 1:20:44Speaker 3: And what kind of stuff goes on there?
- 1:20:45Speaker 5: It was actually, it was a lot of old people,
- 1:20:47Speaker 5: so they just kind of sat around and just had
- 1:20:49Speaker 5: some food truck food and didn't do too much.
- 1:20:52Speaker 2: But there's no there's not like a keynote speaker.
- 1:20:54Speaker 5: Well they do have an annual gathering like jugglers imagine
- 1:20:58Speaker 5: that crowd check.
- 1:21:00Speaker 3: Out old people's buttholes show us your butthole it might
- 1:21:03Speaker 3: be literally the most opposite thing i told the security i.
- 1:21:07Speaker 6: Called the cops excuse me this is the winning.
- 1:21:10Speaker 2: Show 877-44-WOODY for calling in, texting in. You can do
- 1:21:18Speaker 2: that over to 22987. We got a text that says,
- 1:21:23Speaker 2: wanted to know about Jeff Judy to get his happy
- 1:21:25Speaker 2: ending for that massage.
- 1:21:28Speaker 3: That he was getting.
- 1:21:28Speaker 9: Do you want that with my cheers and jeers or
- 1:21:31Speaker 9: right now solo?
- 1:21:32Speaker 3: I mean, I don't know, man. Okay.
- 1:21:34Speaker 2: Is it... Was it that good?
- 1:21:36Speaker 3: Was it a cheer?
- 1:21:37Speaker 8: No, no, no.
- 1:21:37Speaker 1: It wasn't.
- 1:21:37Speaker 3: Okay, so... I want to describe the guy first that
- 1:21:40Speaker 3: gave me the massage, right? So you guys all saw
- 1:21:42Speaker 3: Ocean's Eleven?
- 1:21:43Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:21:43Speaker 3: What was going on?
- 1:21:45Speaker 2: Because there was something happening.
- 1:21:46Speaker 3: Yeah. So I have sciatica. I've had back surgery before.
- 1:21:51Speaker 9: So sometimes when I get a herniated disc or things
- 1:21:53Speaker 9: get out of line, because when you have a back surgery,
- 1:21:55Speaker 9: especially lower on your back, everything, all the little discs
- 1:21:58Speaker 9: above it start to get messed up because your bottom's
- 1:22:00Speaker 9: straight and it's taking a lot of the pressure on
- 1:22:02Speaker 9: the other ones as well. So I get sciatica frequently.
- 1:22:05Speaker 9: So I'm like, I got to go get a massage.
- 1:22:07Speaker 9: The only person they had available was a dude. Now,
- 1:22:09Speaker 9: the dude, if you watch Ocean's Eleven, you remember the
- 1:22:11Speaker 9: little Asian guy that could do all the flips.
- 1:22:13Speaker 4: And all the stuff?
- 1:22:14Speaker 3: That was my masseuse.
- 1:22:15Speaker 5: Oh, nice.
- 1:22:16Speaker 3: And Greg, man, he was on top of me, straddling me.
- 1:22:19Speaker 8: Really?
- 1:22:19Speaker 3: Just digging his knees into everywhere.
- 1:22:21Speaker 1: Nice.
- 1:22:23Speaker 3: Sorry to disappoint you guys. No chub, no happy ending. What?
- 1:22:26Speaker 3: But there's a caveat.
- 1:22:28Speaker 2: But did it work out? I mean, so did it
- 1:22:29Speaker 2: work for the sciatica?
- 1:22:31Speaker 3: It did. He did a pretty good job, man. Yeah,
- 1:22:33Speaker 3: he did a pretty good job. I tipped him well.
- 1:22:35Speaker 3: Not that kind of tip.
- 1:22:36Speaker 12: Do you go full nude when you get massaged? No,
- 1:22:38Speaker 12: I had my boxers on. So here's the last part
- 1:22:41Speaker 12: of that story. So he was rolling me on my side, right?
- 1:22:44Speaker 12: To kind of stretch out my hips and stuff like that.
- 1:22:47Speaker 12: And I accidentally flashed him my beanbag.
- 1:22:49Speaker 3: Oh, not once, but twice.
- 1:22:52Speaker 2: An invite.
- 1:22:53Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 1:22:53Speaker 3: And his response.
- 1:22:54Speaker 2: Oh, so when you get a massage, like, let's say
- 1:22:56Speaker 2: for the sake of argument, it was a woman, right?
- 1:22:58Speaker 3: Yeah. Are you getting a fully nude massage? No, just boxers. Yeah. Okay.
- 1:23:02Speaker 2: Because some people, they undress to your level of comfort.
- 1:23:05Speaker 3: Right. Yeah.
- 1:23:06Speaker 2: And so I always leave underwear on.
- 1:23:08Speaker 3: Out of respect. Out of respect.
- 1:23:10Speaker 2: Out of respect. But, you know, if it was a dude,
- 1:23:13Speaker 2: maybe you had a different set of rules.
- 1:23:15Speaker 3: No, just boxers. Yeah. And his response to that, his
- 1:23:18Speaker 3: English wasn't the best. He goes, oh, private.
- 1:23:21Speaker 5: What? That's what he said. You're not supposed to comment
- 1:23:25Speaker 5: on it.
- 1:23:26Speaker 9: Inside, I'm laughing like, dude, I can't wait to tell
- 1:23:28Speaker 9: the team this story.
- 1:23:30Speaker 3: Stuff like that only happens to me.
- 1:23:31Speaker 5: Was it like coming out the back?
- 1:23:33Speaker 3: It was like on the side.
- 1:23:34Speaker 5: Oh, okay.
- 1:23:35Speaker 3: Yeah, so.
- 1:23:36Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:23:37Speaker 5: Should have figured out how this happened.
- 1:23:39Speaker 3: There it was, you know.
- 1:23:40Speaker 4: Do you think it could have gone further if you wanted?
- 1:23:43Speaker 3: I hope not. No, no. It's got a price, man. Yeah. Yeah,
- 1:23:46Speaker 3: and I guess, you know, maybe he could have looked
- 1:23:48Speaker 3: at it as an invite, but I'm glad he didn't.
- 1:23:49Speaker 5: Was he like private?
- 1:23:51Speaker 3: Yeah, no, he was like, oh, private. I'm glad it worked.
- 1:23:55Speaker 2: Cheers and jeers, officially. So is it the massage or.
- 1:23:59Speaker 3: Is it something else? My cheers is to my staycation.
- 1:24:02Speaker 3: Woody and I were talking about this on Friday.
- 1:24:04Speaker 2: He's got a Jeffcation going on.
- 1:24:06Speaker 9: My wife took my eldest son to school. So it
- 1:24:09Speaker 9: has been awesome with no one at home, man. I
- 1:24:11Speaker 9: still have my youngest, but he kind of does his
- 1:24:13Speaker 9: own thing. I get to watch what I want to watch.
- 1:24:15Speaker 2: He's much more behaved.
- 1:24:17Speaker 3: Correct.
- 1:24:18Speaker 2: When the wife is gone.
- 1:24:19Speaker 9: Yeah, because he's a mama's boy. So now he doesn't
- 1:24:22Speaker 9: have anybody to, you know, hustle.
- 1:24:24Speaker 4: Go in his corner, yeah.
- 1:24:25Speaker 9: Yeah, he doesn't have anybody to hustle. So, yeah, but
- 1:24:28Speaker 9: I've been able to watch what I want to watch, Greg.
- 1:24:30Speaker 3: No nagging. I get to do chores when I feel
- 1:24:33Speaker 3: like it. It's been so great. Exactly, man. And the
- 1:24:35Speaker 3: house is really clean, Greg. I was going to say,
- 1:24:37Speaker 3: that's the best part. The house has been very organized
- 1:24:39Speaker 3: and clean.
- 1:24:40Speaker 9: That's my cheers, and my jeers goes to stupid people
- 1:24:43Speaker 9: in my DMs complaining about all the AI-generated graphics that
- 1:24:47Speaker 9: people are making of me, Menace, and Greg.
- 1:24:49Speaker 2: We're having so much fun!
- 1:24:52Speaker 9: Well, they're mad because they say we're ruining the environment
- 1:24:55Speaker 9: by encouraging people to make these AI graphics of us.
- 1:24:59Speaker 8: Whatever.
- 1:25:00Speaker 5: You guys are beautiful mermaids.
- 1:25:01Speaker 3: Let us have fun a little bit.
- 1:25:04Speaker 2: Even my son brought that stuff up. Not the environmental part,
- 1:25:07Speaker 2: but he's like, dude, these pictures are funny. They're hilarious.
- 1:25:11Speaker 3: We've been doing that stuff forever. Exactly.
- 1:25:14Speaker 9: So cheers to those people that are worried about that.
- 1:25:16Speaker 3: If you're concerned about the environment, how about all the
- 1:25:18Speaker 3: college kids that are writing every paper and every presentation?
- 1:25:21Speaker 3: They're the people ruining the environment. It's not 10 graphics.
- 1:25:23Speaker 5: Well, they're looking for something to attack AI on.
- 1:25:27Speaker 4: And if it's not.
- 1:25:28Speaker 5: you know, you're uncreative or whatever, you know, they call
- 1:25:31Speaker 5: it slop. They've pivoted now to the environment, even though
- 1:25:34Speaker 5: compared to, like you guys are saying, golf courses, I
- 1:25:37Speaker 5: heard some stat, like it's a tiny fraction, what we
- 1:25:40Speaker 5: use on AI data centers is a tiny fraction of
- 1:25:42Speaker 5: what we, the land we use for Christmas trees.
- 1:25:45Speaker 3: Or almonds.
- 1:25:47Speaker 5: And by the way, in areas where they add AI
- 1:25:49Speaker 5: data centers, electricity rates usually go down because they have
- 1:25:52Speaker 5: to install their own plants or build out the infrastructure.
- 1:25:55Speaker 5: So like, We're going to look back on this in
- 1:25:58Speaker 5: not too long and say all you guys were whining
- 1:26:01Speaker 5: little pussies, little Luddites.
- 1:26:02Speaker 2: Well, there was one story I just saw over the
- 1:26:04Speaker 2: weekend where they're talking about, okay, a data center. Okay,
- 1:26:07Speaker 2: they're going to– all this increased use of electricity and things.
- 1:26:10Speaker 2: So they're building a nuclear power plant.
- 1:26:13Speaker 8: Right.
- 1:26:13Speaker 3: And so people are like, whoa. And then they're freaking
- 1:26:15Speaker 3: out about that. Oh, no, clean power.
- 1:26:17Speaker 2: What are you more freaked out about? Are you more
- 1:26:19Speaker 2: freaked out about the data.
- 1:26:19Speaker 3: Center or the nuclear power plant? power plant that's going
- 1:26:22Speaker 3: to power that.
- 1:26:22Speaker 5: They're still on that 50 years ago, by the way.
- 1:26:24Speaker 5: There have been no deaths in America from nuclear power
- 1:26:26Speaker 5: and per energy unit, whatever you want.
- 1:26:29Speaker 3: To call it. You can have all the electric cars.
- 1:26:32Speaker 8: Right.
- 1:26:32Speaker 5: Nuclear power is way safer than practically all other energy sources.
- 1:26:37Speaker 5: True or false, nuclear power is clean power. Same thing.
- 1:26:40Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:26:40Speaker 5: Like we're not burning fossil fuels. It's not in the air. Right.
- 1:26:43Speaker 5: The construction of it isn't hard. You know, the nuclear
- 1:26:46Speaker 5: waste goes deep underground out of the way. It's not
- 1:26:48Speaker 5: going to hurt you.
- 1:26:49Speaker 4: Well, people are complaining so much that they're just moving
- 1:26:51Speaker 4: these out to the ocean now.
- 1:26:53Speaker 5: Well, Elon's going to move them into space and then
- 1:26:55Speaker 5: people will find a way to complain about that because
- 1:26:56Speaker 5: there's a class of people that just want to be mad.
- 1:26:59Speaker 5: They don't want to be productive.
- 1:27:00Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:27:01Speaker 1: All right.
- 1:27:02Speaker 2: Cheers and jeers, Seabass.
- 1:27:04Speaker 5: Cheers to Mike Vrabel. He made me about 25% of
- 1:27:09Speaker 5: my money because right when this whole scandal then went
- 1:27:11Speaker 5: down where he was banging Diana Rossini, apparently for a
- 1:27:15Speaker 5: number of years, at least six years of a documented
- 1:27:17Speaker 5: affair that he was having with this sports writer when
- 1:27:19Speaker 5: he was the coach and married for 25 years of
- 1:27:23Speaker 5: my Tennessee Titans, now the New England Patriots. Right when
- 1:27:26Speaker 5: that came out, an odds bet went up on Cal Sheep.
- 1:27:28Speaker 5: Will Mike Vrabel be the coach for the Patriots for
- 1:27:32Speaker 5: week one? And I was looking at the way he
- 1:27:34Speaker 5: was responding and the way the Patriots was responding. I said,
- 1:27:36Speaker 5: you know what? It looks like they got his back.
- 1:27:39Speaker 5: I'm voting.
- 1:27:39Speaker 3: I'm betting. I'm predicting.
- 1:27:42Speaker 5: I'm trading, not betting. It's not a bet.
- 1:27:45Speaker 8: Yes.
- 1:27:46Speaker 5: And I went ahead and cashed out because the odds
- 1:27:50Speaker 5: changed with each day. And as we're basically here at
- 1:27:53Speaker 5: the new NFL season, cashed out, my $ 10 turned into $ 12.
- 1:27:56Speaker 8: 50.
- 1:27:57Speaker 3: Wow.
- 1:27:57Speaker 4: What are you going to do with all your money?
- 1:28:00Speaker 5: Dumb balling.
- 1:28:02Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:28:02Speaker 5: So, yeah, I told Mr. Vrabel and Ms. Rossini, both
- 1:28:06Speaker 5: still married for the time being, I don't know how,
- 1:28:08Speaker 5: that I'll buy them a drink when they want to
- 1:28:10Speaker 5: get back together.
- 1:28:10Speaker 3: Sweet.
- 1:28:11Speaker 5: When all this comes down. So cheers to Mike Vrabel
- 1:28:13Speaker 5: for sticking it out. And jeers, though, to this douchebag.
- 1:28:18Speaker 5: He lives near me. And his vanity plate on his
- 1:28:22Speaker 5: Porsche whatever is boardroom.
- 1:28:24Speaker 2: Boardroom.
- 1:28:26Speaker 3: Boardroom.
- 1:28:26Speaker 5: Because, like, he's always in the boardroom.
- 1:28:29Speaker 2: He's making deals.
- 1:28:30Speaker 8: What?
- 1:28:31Speaker 4: Could you be?
- 1:28:32Speaker 5: Is that Porsche Panorama Mania, Bananarama, whatever that Porsche is?
- 1:28:36Speaker 3: Oh, Panamera?
- 1:28:36Speaker 5: And, you might say, well, Seabass, you have a vanity plate? Yeah,
- 1:28:39Speaker 5: mine is hilarious and ironic.
- 1:28:41Speaker 2: Cyber sucks.
- 1:28:42Speaker 5: Cyber sex. You don't pronounce X like Ux, stupid.
- 1:28:48Speaker 2: You do when you have to abbreviate it for a
- 1:28:49Speaker 2: license plate.
- 1:28:51Speaker 5: No, never in anyone's life have they ever done that way.
- 1:28:56Speaker 5: Back to boardroom. Like, you could be... Unless he's ironically
- 1:29:00Speaker 5: being a super douche, which I doubt. He's just... You're
- 1:29:03Speaker 5: just a douche. Well, see, Beth, you know what it
- 1:29:05Speaker 5: sounds like? It sounds like an 80s movie villain.
- 1:29:08Speaker 3: Exactly.
- 1:29:08Speaker 5: Like, boardroom ogre.
- 1:29:09Speaker 2: I told you, there's a guy... I saw he's got
- 1:29:11Speaker 2: the license plate downstairs. I fly first.
- 1:29:14Speaker 3: Wow. That's so cool.
- 1:29:16Speaker 5: Like, I get it if you're ironically making fun of
- 1:29:19Speaker 5: the poors or whatever, you know? But I guarantee you
- 1:29:22Speaker 5: that's not what's happening here.
- 1:29:24Speaker 3: Douche. Well, the.
- 1:29:28Speaker 2: Yeah, typically it used to be, it seems to be
- 1:29:31Speaker 2: maybe less now, but the vanity plate used to be
- 1:29:34Speaker 2: almost strictly reserved for douchebags.
- 1:29:37Speaker 5: And that was their entire personality.
- 1:29:39Speaker 3: Or couples.
- 1:29:40Speaker 2: But then, yeah, then they started doing, you know, where
- 1:29:43Speaker 2: you can get the license plate based on whatever cause
- 1:29:46Speaker 2: it is.
- 1:29:46Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 1:29:47Speaker 2: You know, and then they became more personalized, you know.
- 1:29:50Speaker 2: how you have to have like charms and gibbets for
- 1:29:53Speaker 2: your water bottle like everything needs to be personalized so
- 1:29:56Speaker 2: it became less of just for like the meathead douchebag
- 1:29:59Speaker 2: or this kind of guy boardroom but like you still
- 1:30:02Speaker 2: see it every once.
- 1:30:02Speaker 3: In a while not as annoying as the it looks
- 1:30:05Speaker 3: like a tennis bracelet like the fake diamonds.
- 1:30:07Speaker 6: Around you gotta have the blame.
- 1:30:10Speaker 4: Make a glare there's certain areas where that is so
- 1:30:13Speaker 4: popular what kind of areas.
- 1:30:16Speaker 2: I think places where they buy Michael Kors.
- 1:30:18Speaker 11: And it's just cute.
- 1:30:18Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah. Well, probably, like, is.
- 1:30:22Speaker 4: I don't know, like... Soccer moms love it.
- 1:30:25Speaker 3: Yeah. Older people really like it.
- 1:30:27Speaker 5: Menace is our official female psychology correspondent.
- 1:30:30Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:30:30Speaker 5: They love the little stupid around the license plate frame,
- 1:30:32Speaker 5: the little flashy diamonds. And they love it on the
- 1:30:35Speaker 5: steering wheel cover too.
- 1:30:36Speaker 3: Oh, yeah.
- 1:30:37Speaker 5: Oh, that's cool. And Sammy is saying it's just cute.
- 1:30:40Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 1:30:40Speaker 3: It is cute.
- 1:30:41Speaker 11: You can put it on the shifter too.
- 1:30:42Speaker 3: It's pretty normal.
- 1:30:43Speaker 11: I'm just saying.
- 1:30:44Speaker 3: I would say suburban household.
- 1:30:46Speaker 5: Yeah, kind of like it's basic, but not quite basic basic.
- 1:30:49Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:30:49Speaker 8: Really?
- 1:30:49Speaker 11: I thought it was teenagers and stuff too.
- 1:30:51Speaker 8: No?
- 1:30:51Speaker 5: No, it's women in their 30s. Just straight up tacky. Yeah.
- 1:30:54Speaker 5: I would agree with that.
- 1:30:55Speaker 2: Well, okay, Greg's always saying plums are trashy.
- 1:30:57Speaker 3: What's the other?
- 1:30:58Speaker 2: You said barbecue sauce is trashy.
- 1:31:00Speaker 3: Oh, if white trash had a flavor, it would taste
- 1:31:02Speaker 3: like barbecue sauce. All right.
- 1:31:04Speaker 2: He's always saying, like, you said that Burger King is trashy.
- 1:31:09Speaker 2: I think when you have steering wheel or seat covers
- 1:31:12Speaker 2: for your car, like, that is, like, that's mega trashy.
- 1:31:17Speaker 3: I think of taxis when I think of seat covers.
- 1:31:19Speaker 2: I will give a guy who's spending his entire day
- 1:31:21Speaker 2: in a car, I will give a truck driver, I
- 1:31:23Speaker 2: will give them a break on if there's some kind
- 1:31:25Speaker 2: of like seat cover or steering wheel cover. But just
- 1:31:29Speaker 2: on your daily driver to your regular office job or whatever.
- 1:31:32Speaker 3: Tacky.
- 1:31:34Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:31:34Speaker 2: Remember back in the 80s and 90s, it was like
- 1:31:37Speaker 2: that beaded, like wooded.
- 1:31:39Speaker 5: Oh, yes.
- 1:31:40Speaker 3: Wooded beaded.
- 1:31:41Speaker 5: Yes. I know a guy who's got a zebra cover
- 1:31:42Speaker 5: on his steering wheel. It's been on there on his 1992.
- 1:31:46Speaker 5: corolla for the past 26 can i have his number
- 1:31:49Speaker 5: and why and.
- 1:31:49Speaker 2: Like when you put the steering wheel cover on why
- 1:31:52Speaker 2: does that also mean you have to put stuffed animals
- 1:31:54Speaker 2: on the back ledger your window.
- 1:31:56Speaker 5: They go together and you and you 99 times out
- 1:31:58Speaker 5: of 100 you have a black ice air freshener yes
- 1:32:01Speaker 5: i'll say air fresheners in cars are only trashy only
- 1:32:04Speaker 5: trash people do that now i could say.
- 1:32:06Speaker 3: That because so overpowering yeah they.
- 1:32:08Speaker 4: Smell bad what about the sprays though can i spray You.
- 1:32:11Speaker 3: Can do whatever you want.
- 1:32:12Speaker 5: Well, I mean, but it shouldn't.
- 1:32:13Speaker 2: Yeah, you can do whatever you want. Is it legal
- 1:32:15Speaker 2: for me to spray air freshener? Yeah, when you have
- 1:32:17Speaker 2: the air freshener clip on the vent.
- 1:32:19Speaker 5: Oh, yeah, with a little gel inside.
- 1:32:21Speaker 3: It lives there all the time.
- 1:32:22Speaker 5: Yeah, that sticky gel square.
- 1:32:24Speaker 2: Like, you can do whatever you want. I'm saying, like,
- 1:32:26Speaker 2: if you're asking me, is it trashy or not?
- 1:32:28Speaker 3: I would say, yeah.
- 1:32:29Speaker 2: That goes in there with the steering wheel cover and the.
- 1:32:31Speaker 5: I would say most accessories you could buy at an
- 1:32:33Speaker 5: AutoZone are trash. I can say that because when we
- 1:32:35Speaker 5: were 16 and got our first cars, that's, oh, we're
- 1:32:38Speaker 5: going to need to get the spiky stuff and the
- 1:32:40Speaker 5: wheel hubcap covers.
- 1:32:41Speaker 3: And this and that.
- 1:32:42Speaker 6: I've been seeing a lot more lights on the bottom
- 1:32:44Speaker 6: of cars at night.
- 1:32:45Speaker 3: Oh, ground effects. Oh, yeah, yeah.
- 1:32:47Speaker 4: Ground effects are back because they stopped pulling you over
- 1:32:49Speaker 4: for them.
- 1:32:50Speaker 5: Oh, there you go.
- 1:32:50Speaker 8: Oh, yeah.
- 1:32:59Speaker 2: Let's see if I can find this clip.
- 1:33:04Speaker 3: I got it here somewhere. Stand by. All right.
- 1:33:07Speaker 2: We're going to play Guess the Artist.
- 1:33:12Speaker 7: Oh.
- 1:33:13Speaker 5: Okay.
- 1:33:14Speaker 2: In the style of the Smartass game.
- 1:33:18Speaker 3: Okay.
- 1:33:18Speaker 2: I'll give you some clues, and then you have to
- 1:33:22Speaker 2: try to guess.
- 1:33:23Speaker 3: Who it is.
- 1:33:23Speaker 8: Okay.
- 1:33:24Speaker 3: Do we ring in with our name? What's that? Should
- 1:33:26Speaker 3: we ring in? Yes.
- 1:33:27Speaker 8: Okay.
- 1:33:28Speaker 3: All right.
- 1:33:29Speaker 2: I was born in England in the late 1970s. I
- 1:33:35Speaker 2: was trained professionally as an actor in London. I've played
- 1:33:40Speaker 2: both heroes and dangerous villains. I appeared in Inception and Dunkirk.
- 1:33:50Speaker 1: G.I.
- 1:33:51Speaker 3: Gina Rangan first.
- 1:33:53Speaker 5: Tom Hardy.
- 1:33:54Speaker 2: The answer is Tom Hardy.
- 1:33:55Speaker 5: Is that not who you were thinking?
- 1:33:57Speaker 3: No, I was going to guess Benedict Cumberbatch.
- 1:34:00Speaker 2: I haven't seen him. Yeah, the answer is Tom Hardy.
- 1:34:06Speaker 2: And this, ladies and gentlemen. is Tom Hardy's new rap song.
- 1:34:11Speaker 8: Yep.
- 1:34:11Speaker 3: Yeah. He's got a full-length rap album.
- 1:34:14Speaker 8: Nice.
- 1:34:14Speaker 2: I've heard about this.
- 1:34:15Speaker 4: Czar Face meets Frankie Pulitzer is the name of the album.
- 1:34:18Speaker 8: Okay.
- 1:34:18Speaker 4: And his rap name is Frankie Pulitzer.
- 1:34:36Speaker 2: And so he's got some features on there, Busta Rhymes,
- 1:34:39Speaker 2: Method Man.
- 1:34:41Speaker 3: I saw his video on Method Man. It was really good. Yeah,
- 1:34:43Speaker 3: it's kind of cool. He's wearing like a mask.
- 1:34:45Speaker 4: Which I think is smart, you know, because you wouldn't
- 1:34:47Speaker 4: be able to get it out of your mind that
- 1:34:49Speaker 4: it's Tom Hardy rapping.
- 1:34:50Speaker 5: Because he's rapped before. He's been doing this for a while,
- 1:34:53Speaker 5: but this is like he took a long time off.
- 1:34:55Speaker 5: And Zarface is the, it's Esoteric and what's his name?
- 1:34:59Speaker 5: Inspector Deck. So these guys, yeah, these guys are long,
- 1:35:03Speaker 5: like very well-established producers.
- 1:35:06Speaker 2: Okay, so what do you think about him doing a
- 1:35:09Speaker 2: rap album, Seabass? I know typically when celebrities who are
- 1:35:11Speaker 2: famous for other things come out with music, a lot
- 1:35:15Speaker 2: of time, who dis in a weekend audio kind of thing.
- 1:35:17Speaker 3: Right, right, right.
- 1:35:18Speaker 2: Tom Hardy as a rapper.
- 1:35:20Speaker 3: Why do all actors want to sing and all singers
- 1:35:22Speaker 3: want to act?
- 1:35:23Speaker 2: Well, I mean, it sounds right in there with everything
- 1:35:28Speaker 2: else and whatever.
- 1:35:29Speaker 3: Sounds fine, you know?
- 1:35:33Speaker 5: He has been doing this for 13 years now off
- 1:35:35Speaker 5: and on so I'll give him more of a pass
- 1:35:37Speaker 5: for that I suppose but like I think it sounds
- 1:35:40Speaker 5: fine it doesn't sound like revolutionary well.
- 1:35:42Speaker 2: No it doesn't have to be like revolutionary like bands
- 1:35:46Speaker 2: that are coming out with new stuff none of it's
- 1:35:48Speaker 2: revolutionary yeah I.
- 1:35:49Speaker 6: Mean but like is anyone like super excited about this
- 1:35:52Speaker 6: like does it sound.
- 1:35:52Speaker 2: I don't think anybody was anticipating yeah you know but
- 1:35:56Speaker 2: when I hear it I go if you would have
- 1:35:57Speaker 2: said who is this I would have never come up
- 1:36:00Speaker 2: with Tom Hardy no But when you tell me it's
- 1:36:03Speaker 2: Tom Hardy, I go, oh.
- 1:36:04Speaker 3: It's not like he's mad old. He's only 48, but
- 1:36:06Speaker 3: he sounds like 20 in that. Yeah. Sounds young.
- 1:36:10Speaker 9: He sounds legit. And that's the thing is, it's not
- 1:36:12Speaker 9: very easy to do. We've heard plenty of rapper, athletes
- 1:36:16Speaker 9: and stuff butcher it, you know?
- 1:36:17Speaker 8: Oh, yeah.
- 1:36:17Speaker 3: And this, I mean, he sounds like he belongs.
- 1:36:20Speaker 5: He's done other stuff under the cover or under the radar,
- 1:36:23Speaker 5: I should say, like jujitsu. He wins tournaments and stuff
- 1:36:27Speaker 5: that Tom Hardy does. Yeah. I give more credit for
- 1:36:29Speaker 5: stuff like that. Like if you want to do something,
- 1:36:30Speaker 5: just go out and do it. Don't talk about it
- 1:36:32Speaker 5: all the time. Like freaking retard Jonah Hill.
- 1:36:37Speaker 2: No, Pat McAfee. That's who I'm thinking of. There was
- 1:36:41Speaker 2: somebody else, another celebrity.
- 1:36:43Speaker 3: It was Pat McAfee.
- 1:36:44Speaker 8: Right.
- 1:36:45Speaker 5: But I think this is a little different because again,
- 1:36:46Speaker 5: he's been doing it for a long time. He's doing
- 1:36:48Speaker 5: it under a pseudonym. it's seems more authentic to him. Yeah.
- 1:36:52Speaker 14: Well, not even authentic, but I mean, he sounds like sonically.
- 1:36:55Speaker 14: It sounds, he's not doing that thing. It fits that
- 1:36:58Speaker 14: new word that you taught me about the, uh, when
- 1:37:01Speaker 14: flea was doing the trumpet stuff.
- 1:37:03Speaker 3: Oh, grifting, grifting. Yeah. It's not great.
- 1:37:07Speaker 2: Grifting was a new word to you.
- 1:37:08Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:37:09Speaker 5: It's more of an old-timey word that's coming to vogue
- 1:37:12Speaker 5: these days.
- 1:37:13Speaker 3: Menace right there with you. Grifting. That was the first
- 1:37:15Speaker 3: time I heard that word.
- 1:37:16Speaker 2: Really?
- 1:37:17Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:37:17Speaker 3: You've heard, like, a grifter. I've heard of a grifter,
- 1:37:20Speaker 3: but I had no idea.
- 1:37:21Speaker 4: I've heard of a drifter.
- 1:37:23Speaker 3: A grifter. Grifting.
- 1:37:25Speaker 5: Like a scammer.
- 1:37:27Speaker 3: Maybe I'm also with menace on that. Grifter. I've heard
- 1:37:31Speaker 3: of drifter.
- 1:37:32Speaker 5: A grift is a small-scale swindle, scam, or fraud. So, like,
- 1:37:35Speaker 5: if you're Like say Flea and people are coming to–
- 1:37:37Speaker 5: they're not coming to watch you play the trumpet.
- 1:37:40Speaker 3: Right.
- 1:37:40Speaker 5: Or what's his name?
- 1:37:42Speaker 2: Mr.
- 1:37:43Speaker 8: 3000. Andre.
- 1:37:43Speaker 5: Andre 3000. Not coming to watch you play the flute.
- 1:37:47Speaker 4: Ah, his flute game is strong.
- 1:37:48Speaker 5: You're using your celebrity to this grift essentially. But I
- 1:37:53Speaker 5: don't think like Tom Hardy is going to be out
- 1:37:54Speaker 5: here touring. I think he just likes rapping. Like I said,
- 1:37:56Speaker 5: he's liked it for a long time.
- 1:37:57Speaker 2: 877-44-WOODY. Just wanted to share it with you.
- 1:38:00Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 1:38:01Speaker 3: In case you were unfamiliar.
- 1:38:02Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 1:38:03Speaker 2: Send us a text over to 22987.
- 1:38:05Speaker 3: Quick break.
- 1:38:06Speaker 2: More Woody shows next.
- 1:38:07Speaker 3: Hang on.
- 1:38:08Speaker 5: It looks like when you pour bacon fat into a jar.
- 1:38:11Speaker 11: Oh, no, that is not good.
- 1:38:12Speaker 3: The Woody Show. The Woody Show.
- 1:38:19Speaker 2: All right, well, we've got a trip to Vegas for
- 1:38:25Speaker 2: the iHeartRadio Music Festival. This hour's keyword is luck.

- 1:38:41Speaker 2: to both nights of the festival, $ 1, 000 spending cash, and
- 1:38:44Speaker 2: some ground transportation even. The keyword lucky, text it anytime
- 1:38:48Speaker 2: between now and 10 o'clock.
- 1:38:50Speaker 3: Over to 200-200.
- 1:38:51Speaker 2: That's that special contest number. Not to be confused with
- 1:38:55Speaker 2: the 22987 that you text for anything else. But yeah,
- 1:38:59Speaker 2: that's 200-200. We'll have some news headlines coming up for
- 1:39:03Speaker 2: you this hour.
- 1:39:04Speaker 3: It is the Woody Show.
- 1:39:06Speaker 2: Woody, Greg, Manis, Gina.
- 1:39:08Speaker 8: Yes.
- 1:39:08Speaker 2: And this woman in the news who decided that being
- 1:39:11Speaker 2: an adult sucks so much that she was just going
- 1:39:14Speaker 2: to be.
- 1:39:14Speaker 3: An 11-year-old again.
- 1:39:15Speaker 2: Oh, why not?
- 1:39:17Speaker 3: I'll join her.
- 1:39:18Speaker 2: She's really 38, but she went and she created a
- 1:39:21Speaker 2: fake identity. She hit up a religious community claiming that
- 1:39:24Speaker 2: she was a child who had run away from an
- 1:39:27Speaker 2: abusive home. So a family took her in, filled her
- 1:39:31Speaker 2: bedroom with toys, and even threw her a birthday party
- 1:39:34Speaker 2: when she, quote, turned 12.
- 1:39:35Speaker 3: Oh, my God.
- 1:39:36Speaker 5: Jeez.
- 1:39:37Speaker 2: So whenever somebody questioned why she looked so much older,
- 1:39:40Speaker 2: she claimed that she had autism and was forcibly given hormones.
- 1:39:45Speaker 3: As a kid. That's why. Those things are related? Okay.
- 1:39:48Speaker 2: Eventually, this one social worker got suspicious, started digging.
- 1:39:51Speaker 3: And figured it all out.
- 1:39:52Speaker 2: And she confessed, and she's now on trial for identity theft.
- 1:39:56Speaker 4: Oh, damn.
- 1:39:56Speaker 2: Bitch be tripping that. So there's the mugshot, but that's
- 1:39:59Speaker 2: her when she was, quote, 12.
- 1:40:00Speaker 3: What?
- 1:40:01Speaker 5: It's a middle-aged woman holding a doll.
- 1:40:04Speaker 3: She has a youthful face, but not 11.
- 1:40:08Speaker 2: To pass for 11 years old?
- 1:40:10Speaker 4: How tall is she?
- 1:40:11Speaker 2: Your stepson's 11.
- 1:40:12Speaker 5: Yeah, this looks like his grandmother. That's crazy. In no
- 1:40:19Speaker 5: world does that woman look 11.
- 1:40:21Speaker 3: There was that documentary, maybe you saw it, The Mysterious
- 1:40:24Speaker 3: Case of Natalie Grace.
- 1:40:25Speaker 5: Oh, I've seen it.
- 1:40:26Speaker 3: And they adopted her from some.
- 1:40:29Speaker 5: Eastern European country.
- 1:40:30Speaker 3: There you go. And when she arrived, they had all
- 1:40:32Speaker 3: these strange signs like, we don't think she's a kid.
- 1:40:35Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:40:35Speaker 3: And I don't think that ever got fully solved.
- 1:40:37Speaker 5: I thought it was all BS and she is a kid.
- 1:40:40Speaker 3: Oh, really?
- 1:40:41Speaker 5: With just a really abusive family.
- 1:40:42Speaker 3: It's so bizarre.
- 1:40:46Speaker 2: But yeah, man, bitch be tripping.
- 1:40:47Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:40:48Speaker 5: So tripping.
- 1:40:49Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:40:50Speaker 3: But can't blame her for trying.
- 1:40:51Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 1:40:52Speaker 4: I know.
- 1:40:52Speaker 10: Wasn't that movie The Orphan based off of something like this?
- 1:40:55Speaker 8: Yes.
- 1:40:55Speaker 5: Exactly. And that's why people thought the worst of this girl. Like,
- 1:40:59Speaker 5: the horror movie.
- 1:41:00Speaker 3: Like, okay. Dude, so many scams.
- 1:41:01Speaker 2: It's why, like, man, I feel bad because there's sometimes
- 1:41:06Speaker 2: I hear about something.
- 1:41:06Speaker 3: I go, oh, man.
- 1:41:07Speaker 2: And that would be something that I would normally maybe,
- 1:41:09Speaker 2: you know, give a couple bucks to or want to
- 1:41:12Speaker 2: give some time to on the show to get the
- 1:41:14Speaker 2: word out about whatever it is. And you just you
- 1:41:17Speaker 2: feel like everybody's scamming you.
- 1:41:19Speaker 1: Right.
- 1:41:19Speaker 2: So you got to be super careful. And it sucks.
- 1:41:22Speaker 2: What's your parents to tell you? Oh, the boy who
- 1:41:25Speaker 2: cried wolf.
- 1:41:26Speaker 5: Of course.
- 1:41:27Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:41:27Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:41:27Speaker 2: You got to be careful, man. You keep saying this,
- 1:41:30Speaker 2: that people are going to start, you know, not believing
- 1:41:32Speaker 2: you because you tell these lies and then people just
- 1:41:36Speaker 2: get tired of it. And so next time you say something,
- 1:41:38Speaker 2: they won't believe it.
- 1:41:39Speaker 8: Yep.
- 1:41:39Speaker 2: And that's how, you know, even my son, my son's
- 1:41:41Speaker 2: got that green light card.
- 1:41:43Speaker 5: Is it like the debit card?
- 1:41:44Speaker 2: Yeah, it's a debit card for kids. And even his
- 1:41:48Speaker 2: number and whatever got compromised.
- 1:41:50Speaker 4: Really?
- 1:41:51Speaker 2: Yeah. And he's got no money.
- 1:41:53Speaker 5: He's broke.
- 1:41:53Speaker 3: You know what I mean?
- 1:41:54Speaker 5: Yeah, why would you go after those? Those are just
- 1:41:56Speaker 5: kids with like 20 bucks in their account, I would imagine.
- 1:41:58Speaker 4: You might have put his information in something.
- 1:42:00Speaker 1: Oh, man.
- 1:42:00Speaker 2: Yeah, so we looked into it, and money was being
- 1:42:05Speaker 2: drained for, and he was like, dude, really? You're going
- 1:42:08Speaker 2: to risk getting in trouble? I forget what the game is.
- 1:42:11Speaker 2: It's one of these online games.
- 1:42:12Speaker 8: Mm-hmm.
- 1:42:13Speaker 2: That you see, like the ones that look so stupid.
- 1:42:15Speaker 2: They almost look like medieval fighting, like those cheap app games.
- 1:42:19Speaker 3: You know? Swinging around like a maze.
- 1:42:21Speaker 2: Kings something, you know?
- 1:42:22Speaker 5: Yeah, Royal Kingdom.
- 1:42:23Speaker 3: Royal Kingdom. Something like that.
- 1:42:27Speaker 2: But yeah, they tried it and they just did it
- 1:42:29Speaker 2: until it like zeroed them out.
- 1:42:31Speaker 3: Damn. Money well spent if we didn't rob somebody.
- 1:42:35Speaker 2: It got all worked out.
- 1:42:36Speaker 4: I know this one DJ, he'll make like six figures
- 1:42:40Speaker 4: a gig, right? But he found out, like, for the
- 1:42:42Speaker 4: past three years, somebody has been taking out $ 30 weekly.
- 1:42:46Speaker 3: From his account.
- 1:42:47Speaker 5: And you'd never notice that.
- 1:42:49Speaker 3: Yeah. Oh, that's like your office. Greg's like, that's... It's
- 1:42:52Speaker 3: like office space.
- 1:42:53Speaker 5: A fraction of a penny.
- 1:42:54Speaker 2: No one will ever notice.
- 1:42:55Speaker 3: You won't notice. Yeah. 30 whole dollars. I know.
- 1:42:59Speaker 2: So Greg, you're so on top of everything, like looking
- 1:43:02Speaker 2: at your account multiple times a day. Do you reconcile
- 1:43:06Speaker 2: your account? Remember people used to reconcile their checkbook?
- 1:43:09Speaker 5: Balance your checkbook.
- 1:43:10Speaker 2: Balance the checkbook. Do you ever do that?
- 1:43:11Speaker 1: No.
- 1:43:12Speaker 3: I will keep track of what checks I write.
- 1:43:15Speaker 2: So you could have been taken for hundreds of dollars
- 1:43:17Speaker 2: and not even noticed it.
- 1:43:18Speaker 3: Probably. Probably. I'll still write the amount of the check
- 1:43:23Speaker 3: I wrote. In the register? In the register. But I
- 1:43:26Speaker 3: won't put the current balance in there. You know how
- 1:43:29Speaker 3: he has horrible memory?
- 1:43:30Speaker 4: But I guarantee you he memorizes every single dime, right?
- 1:43:34Speaker 5: Every transaction.
- 1:43:35Speaker 3: Pretty much. But it pays to look at your stuff.
- 1:43:37Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 1:43:37Speaker 3: Because if you get your credit card statement and you
- 1:43:40Speaker 3: look at it and you think, wait a minute. Well,
- 1:43:42Speaker 3: this doesn't even sound familiar.
- 1:43:43Speaker 5: Well, I'm glad you said that.
- 1:43:45Speaker 3: But I will blame some establishments. See, I used to
- 1:43:49Speaker 3: use my debit card for everything. Woody, you taught me.
- 1:43:51Speaker 3: safer to use your credit card. So I'll use that
- 1:43:53Speaker 3: at a gas station. And instead of saying the name
- 1:43:55Speaker 3: of the gas station, it'll have a random man's name. Yeah.
- 1:43:58Speaker 5: Shell company.
- 1:43:59Speaker 3: Right. And I hate that. And I think, wait a minute,
- 1:44:01Speaker 3: who is this Walter Jones? Oh, it's the gas station.
- 1:44:05Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:44:06Speaker 2: It's the guy who owns the gas station.
- 1:44:08Speaker 3: Yeah. Yeah.
- 1:44:09Speaker 2: So I had to unsign myself up for this service
- 1:44:14Speaker 2: through my credit card company because I had said it
- 1:44:17Speaker 2: to try to keep an eye on stuff. But every
- 1:44:20Speaker 2: time a charge comes through throughout the course of the day,
- 1:44:24Speaker 2: something adds up to over whatever the threshold is, $ 100
- 1:44:27Speaker 2: or $ 150. It says daily spending over whatever, and it
- 1:44:32Speaker 2: lists whatever the account or whatever the amount is, right?
- 1:44:35Speaker 3: It'll say $ 63. But all it tells me is Amazon. Right.
- 1:44:41Speaker 2: And now I got to go back over to Amazon
- 1:44:42Speaker 2: because my wife is ordering stuff, you know.
- 1:44:44Speaker 5: Yeah. Cross reference.
- 1:44:46Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:44:46Speaker 2: Now I got to cross reference into Amazon.
- 1:44:48Speaker 3: I go, forget it. Totally.
- 1:44:50Speaker 2: For all I know, I could have been taken for
- 1:44:52Speaker 2: God knows how much money.
- 1:44:53Speaker 1: Right.
- 1:44:54Speaker 2: Because certainly things on Amazon, we've had it where they
- 1:44:56Speaker 2: just show up.
- 1:44:57Speaker 3: We didn't order this.
- 1:44:58Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 1:44:58Speaker 2: They just show up or you get something from Amazon.
- 1:45:02Speaker 2: saying you see like, oh, being delivered today. You're like,
- 1:45:04Speaker 2: I didn't order this.
- 1:45:05Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:45:05Speaker 2: And that turned out to be fraud. So God knows
- 1:45:07Speaker 2: how much of that's going on.
- 1:45:08Speaker 3: I had a notice from Amazon saying, okay, we are
- 1:45:11Speaker 3: refunding your recent purchase. And it was all this like
- 1:45:15Speaker 3: bunny cages, bunny feed.
- 1:45:16Speaker 5: Oh, you're so into that.
- 1:45:17Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:45:18Speaker 3: And then I looked at the thing. I clicked on
- 1:45:20Speaker 3: your account and your addresses. My address was different. It
- 1:45:23Speaker 3: was so weird. I didn't order this. So did they
- 1:45:28Speaker 3: refund it?
- 1:45:28Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:45:28Speaker 3: And then I went on to my account and deleted that.
- 1:45:32Speaker 3: mysterious address that had been included on there. Yeah. Very weird.
- 1:45:35Speaker 2: That's happened before. So God knows how much, because you get,
- 1:45:39Speaker 2: you almost get fatigued.
- 1:45:40Speaker 10: Right.
- 1:45:41Speaker 3: Because if you look at your credit card statement and
- 1:45:42Speaker 3: it just says, Amazon, Amazon, Amazon.
- 1:45:44Speaker 8: Right.
- 1:45:44Speaker 5: That sounds like me.
- 1:45:45Speaker 3: You don't know. Oh, wait, that was those towels. This
- 1:45:47Speaker 3: was that shirt. Yeah. It's just Amazon.
- 1:45:50Speaker 2: See, I wish they would just like total it all
- 1:45:53Speaker 2: up in a daily amount. Like, so, you know, whatever
- 1:45:56Speaker 2: you bought today would show up as one amount.
- 1:46:00Speaker 3: Oh, yeah.
- 1:46:00Speaker 2: You know, like so Amazon, whatever the day is, the date.
- 1:46:04Speaker 8: Right.
- 1:46:05Speaker 2: And then that's the total amount. That way you can
- 1:46:06Speaker 2: go like, oh, yeah, I did buy a bunch of
- 1:46:08Speaker 2: stuff on that date. Then you can go back and
- 1:46:09Speaker 2: take a look. But when it's just these little like $ 40.
- 1:46:12Speaker 3: $ 9. Oh, man.
- 1:46:16Speaker 5: There's no way to know.
- 1:46:17Speaker 2: We're all getting so ripped off.
- 1:46:18Speaker 3: Oh, yeah.
- 1:46:18Speaker 5: I'm just happy. You know what? I like my ignorance
- 1:46:21Speaker 5: is bliss. I can't be stressed out about this all
- 1:46:23Speaker 5: day every day.
- 1:46:24Speaker 3: I mean, yes and no. Sometimes if it's Uber Eats
- 1:46:26Speaker 3: or something like that. I don't remember ordering Uber. Oh, okay,
- 1:46:29Speaker 3: I guess we did. But was it $ 88? Was it $ 58?
- 1:46:32Speaker 3: I don't remember.
- 1:46:33Speaker 2: Have you ever done it where you're like, you're so like, oh,
- 1:46:35Speaker 2: my God, I've been seeing it. And then you realize
- 1:46:37Speaker 2: that it was you.
- 1:46:37Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 1:46:38Speaker 2: And you feel like a total idiot.
- 1:46:40Speaker 1: Right.
- 1:46:40Speaker 3: That happens every month with this stupid gas station thing.
- 1:46:43Speaker 5: I was drunk and starving.
- 1:46:47Speaker 1: The Woody Show.
- 1:46:50Speaker 2: Seabass, I will give credit where credit is due. I
- 1:46:52Speaker 2: noticed that you are signing your texts. Thank you. When
- 1:46:56Speaker 2: people text in and he wants to rebut, he can.
- 1:47:00Speaker 5: Engagement is what I call it.
- 1:47:02Speaker 3: Engagement.
- 1:47:03Speaker 5: Letting the listeners know they are seen.
- 1:47:05Speaker 3: I'm like, oh, what is this?
- 1:47:07Speaker 2: All I saw was the response, my apologies, I shall
- 1:47:10Speaker 2: refrain from youthful vernacular moving forward. And I knew who
- 1:47:15Speaker 2: that was a response to.
- 1:47:16Speaker 5: Somebody slamming some slang. And yes, I did.
- 1:47:20Speaker 2: Some of it's giving something. It's giving the orphan.
- 1:47:23Speaker 5: Like the movie about the kid.
- 1:47:25Speaker 3: Oh, it's giving. It's giving.
- 1:47:28Speaker 5: This is the kind of slang I hate because we
- 1:47:30Speaker 5: have perfectly acceptable phrases for, it reminds me of, or
- 1:47:34Speaker 5: this sounds like, or smells like, or looks like. But
- 1:47:36Speaker 5: those didn't start on RuPaul's Drag Race.
- 1:47:37Speaker 3: Yeah, this is yet another RuPaul thing.
- 1:47:39Speaker 5: Yeah, again, we have perfectly fine words for this, but again,
- 1:47:42Speaker 5: two years ago, you guys said, because teenagers were doing it,
- 1:47:45Speaker 5: because RuPaul was doing it. I got to start saying
- 1:47:47Speaker 5: that all.
- 1:47:48Speaker 2: I said, they have three teenagers in the house and
- 1:47:50Speaker 2: it has me using their slang, ironically, solely for the
- 1:47:53Speaker 2: purpose of annoying them.
- 1:47:55Speaker 5: Which is, I appreciate that.
- 1:47:56Speaker 2: I will do that too.
- 1:47:58Speaker 3: Yeah, you've done that. Yeah. And I do that because
- 1:48:00Speaker 3: they hate it. I love it. They hate it so much.
- 1:48:01Speaker 5: And I support that, but we are not your teenagers, obviously.
- 1:48:05Speaker 3: Oh, you know what I love?
- 1:48:06Speaker 2: Because I saw it online. I'm like, oh, let's try it.
- 1:48:09Speaker 2: Where my wife will call me daddy. in front of
- 1:48:14Speaker 2: the kids.
- 1:48:16Speaker 3: That's so gross.
- 1:48:17Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 1:48:17Speaker 2: What are we having for dinner, daddy? It's so funny.
- 1:48:20Speaker 2: The reaction is so great. It's as good as it
- 1:48:23Speaker 2: is when you watch other people's kids on social media.
- 1:48:27Speaker 2: Speaking of which, what is a word or phrase that
- 1:48:30Speaker 2: instantly makes you sound old? If giving is trying to
- 1:48:33Speaker 2: make you sound younger, what's the opposite of that Like,
- 1:48:39Speaker 2: I noticed somebody said something recently. They called it smoking dope.
- 1:48:44Speaker 5: Oh, dope will do it.
- 1:48:45Speaker 2: Or grass.
- 1:48:46Speaker 3: That's a good one.
- 1:48:47Speaker 2: Instead of weed. Pot, dope, grass.
- 1:48:50Speaker 5: My mom always uses these two words unironically. She's just happy.
- 1:48:53Speaker 5: She goes, oh, super. Or, oh, terrific. So those two are,
- 1:48:57Speaker 5: I think, very old people words.
- 1:48:59Speaker 3: Super.
- 1:49:00Speaker 5: Super.
- 1:49:01Speaker 2: Saying pocketbook instead of purse.
- 1:49:04Speaker 5: Oh, my pocketbook.
- 1:49:05Speaker 2: I got it in my pocketbook. Go get my pocketbook.
- 1:49:07Speaker 3: I think that's just East Coast.
- 1:49:08Speaker 11: I know plenty of young people who still say that.
- 1:49:10Speaker 8: Really? Really?
- 1:49:11Speaker 5: Pocketbook.
- 1:49:12Speaker 2: Pocketbook does sound all that.
- 1:49:13Speaker 3: I thought you had to be legally 90.
- 1:49:15Speaker 5: It's got like a folder for coupons in there. Yes, exactly.
- 1:49:18Speaker 3: What about cigarettes? Soda pop? Is that? That's regional. That's regional.
- 1:49:23Speaker 5: My cousins in the upstate New York say pap all
- 1:49:26Speaker 5: the time.
- 1:49:26Speaker 3: Yeah, pop.
- 1:49:27Speaker 8: Pop.
- 1:49:27Speaker 2: Do you want to go get some paps?
- 1:49:29Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:49:29Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:49:31Speaker 2: Slacks instead of pants yeah nice slacks.
- 1:49:34Speaker 3: How about windbreaker well what else do you call it
- 1:49:37Speaker 3: I don't know I think of my sport jacket or
- 1:49:39Speaker 3: light well windbreaker would be like a light jacket.
- 1:49:42Speaker 5: That's true it's a jacket you wear during sports but
- 1:49:45Speaker 5: not a sports jacket or telling someone they look sharp.
- 1:49:50Speaker 2: I told you that traumatized me as a kid I
- 1:49:52Speaker 2: was really little and my mom has told me this
- 1:49:55Speaker 2: story I was like I don't know three maybe and
- 1:49:59Speaker 2: uh They were trying to get me to get dressed
- 1:50:01Speaker 2: up because we were going somewhere, and they had me
- 1:50:03Speaker 2: put this sweater on, and I came downstairs, and my
- 1:50:05Speaker 2: grandma and my mom went overboard. Look how sharp you look.
- 1:50:11Speaker 2: And I thought I was going to get hurt, so
- 1:50:12Speaker 2: I started crying. Because I'm like, sharp?
- 1:50:15Speaker 3: I can't be sharp.
- 1:50:16Speaker 2: Yeah, and my mom felt so bad.
- 1:50:18Speaker 5: The handsome man.
- 1:50:18Speaker 4: Yeah, I was about to say handsome. A handsome old man.
- 1:50:21Speaker 3: All people say that.
- 1:50:22Speaker 2: All right, here we go. What's a word or phrase
- 1:50:25Speaker 2: that instantly makes you sound old? Saying stewardess instead of
- 1:50:27Speaker 2: flight attendant.
- 1:50:28Speaker 4: Yes.
- 1:50:29Speaker 5: Who cares? That's called not being PC.
- 1:50:32Speaker 3: Snowflakes.
- 1:50:33Speaker 2: But here, why was that not politically correct?
- 1:50:37Speaker 3: Good question. Great question.
- 1:50:38Speaker 5: Because there were male steward-di.
- 1:50:41Speaker 2: We have a word.
- 1:50:42Speaker 5: A steward.
- 1:50:42Speaker 3: A steward, yes.
- 1:50:44Speaker 2: To me, I know it's is, but like stewardess- It
- 1:50:49Speaker 2: was just the title of whatever that job was.
- 1:50:51Speaker 3: Like nurse.
- 1:50:52Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 1:50:52Speaker 2: People will say male nurse, but there is no difference.
- 1:50:56Speaker 3: It's a nurse.
- 1:50:56Speaker 1: Right.
- 1:50:57Speaker 2: It could be a dude or a chick.
- 1:50:58Speaker 5: But would you be like, call the steward over. I
- 1:51:00Speaker 5: need a refill.
- 1:51:01Speaker 2: No, but a stewardess would just be a flight attendant.
- 1:51:04Speaker 5: There's a difference between it being old Tommy and it being, oh,
- 1:51:07Speaker 5: you can't say that because it's offensive. Why?
- 1:51:09Speaker 6: How?
- 1:51:11Speaker 2: If you say videotaping instead of recording.
- 1:51:13Speaker 5: I say it every day. I still hear kids saying tape.
- 1:51:16Speaker 5: They don't even know what that means.
- 1:51:18Speaker 2: Well, I mean, phrases come from a thing. Cut to
- 1:51:21Speaker 2: the chase was a film term, right?
- 1:51:25Speaker 3: Oh, yeah, yeah.
- 1:51:25Speaker 5: Cut to the chase-y.
- 1:51:26Speaker 3: Correct.
- 1:51:28Speaker 8: Oh.
- 1:51:28Speaker 2: Yeah, so I'm saying these terms and whatever come from something.
- 1:51:31Speaker 2: Saying supper instead of dinner. I always thought supper was
- 1:51:34Speaker 2: kind of white trash.
- 1:51:34Speaker 3: Never said that. Never. Supper. What about autumn instead of fall?
- 1:51:39Speaker 8: Oh, yeah.
- 1:51:40Speaker 2: Saying shrink instead of therapist.
- 1:51:41Speaker 5: Yeah. Head shrinker. Head shrinker.
- 1:51:44Speaker 2: Saying pound sign instead of hashtag.
- 1:51:46Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 1:51:47Speaker 4: Wait, autumn's different than fall?
- 1:51:49Speaker 3: No, it's the same.
- 1:51:51Speaker 2: Autumn and fall are the same thing.
- 1:51:52Speaker 5: Did you think there was.
- 1:51:53Speaker 3: A fifth season? What did you think autumn was?
- 1:51:55Speaker 2: I just thought it was like a weird in-between.
- 1:51:56Speaker 3: Of what? Between seasons? Where would autumn fall then?
- 1:52:03Speaker 4: Just before fall.
- 1:52:05Speaker 2: So between summer and fall.
- 1:52:06Speaker 3: It's like brunch.
- 1:52:09Speaker 2: So after Labor Day, would be autumn until fall officially began?
- 1:52:15Speaker 3: Yeah, just for a little while. Three weeks.
- 1:52:18Speaker 4: Look, I don't know the timeline.
- 1:52:19Speaker 2: I'm asking what you thought it was.
- 1:52:22Speaker 3: Like I said, a weird in-between. I didn't look at
- 1:52:25Speaker 3: the dates, though.
- 1:52:26Speaker 5: Is there, Greg, a better word to use when describing
- 1:52:28Speaker 5: something than autumnal?
- 1:52:30Speaker 3: Like the autumnal equinox. Oh, that's fancy.
- 1:52:32Speaker 2: Saying beauty parlor instead of salon.
- 1:52:34Speaker 4: Oh, the parlor.
- 1:52:35Speaker 5: We were just talking about this, weren't we?
- 1:52:36Speaker 3: The word parlor.
- 1:52:37Speaker 5: The pizza parlor, the ice cream parlor.
- 1:52:39Speaker 3: Yeah, it was never the pizza place. It was the
- 1:52:41Speaker 3: pizza parlor.
- 1:52:43Speaker 5: And Sammy thought we were like 90. Yeah, super old.
- 1:52:45Speaker 5: Meet me in the parlor.
- 1:52:47Speaker 2: You're so old.
- 1:52:48Speaker 3: You spend your Friday night at the pizza parlor. Oh, yeah.
- 1:52:52Speaker 2: Greg was surprised. I don't remember who you were talking to.
- 1:52:55Speaker 2: Maybe it was Manus or somebody in here. But powder room.
- 1:52:59Speaker 8: Oh, yeah.
- 1:52:59Speaker 3: You have a powder room? Yeah, a powder room is
- 1:53:01Speaker 3: just a room with a toilet and a sink.
- 1:53:03Speaker 2: Yeah, so there's no bathtub, no shower. It's just the
- 1:53:06Speaker 2: toilet and the sink.
- 1:53:08Speaker 3: This was a huge debate with our old phone screener, Julianne.
- 1:53:12Speaker 3: She said, nobody, and I mean nobody, says powder room.
- 1:53:17Speaker 3: So every time I had HGTV on and they said
- 1:53:19Speaker 3: powder room, I would quote videotape it. And I would
- 1:53:23Speaker 3: send her, oh, look, powder room, powder room.
- 1:53:26Speaker 5: Isn't that a half bath?
- 1:53:28Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 1:53:28Speaker 5: Exactly. You call it a powder room. Julianne is, for
- 1:53:31Speaker 5: lack of a better word, white trash.
- 1:53:33Speaker 7: Yeah!
- 1:53:34Speaker 5: So she's not exposed to fancy things like that a lot.
- 1:53:36Speaker 3: Yeah, but she thought it was like this overly fancy term.
- 1:53:38Speaker 3: I said, no, everybody says powder room.
- 1:53:41Speaker 2: What's a word or phrase or something you could say
- 1:53:43Speaker 2: that instantly makes you sound old if you say half
- 1:53:46Speaker 2: past or quarter till when you're telling time?
- 1:53:48Speaker 1: Is it?
- 1:53:49Speaker 3: It's half past nine.
- 1:53:50Speaker 2: It's quarter till.
- 1:53:51Speaker 5: Because you're talking about a clock face at that point.
- 1:53:53Speaker 2: Yeah, instead of saying, oh, it's whatever time.
- 1:53:56Speaker 5: That makes sense. Thanks, Monk.
- 1:53:58Speaker 2: Rubbish instead of trash. Oh, put that in the rubbish.
- 1:54:00Speaker 3: I love saying rubbish.
- 1:54:02Speaker 5: We got a rubbish bin in my new building.
- 1:54:03Speaker 4: Yeah, all the buildings say rubbish on it.
- 1:54:05Speaker 3: It's awesome.
- 1:54:06Speaker 4: It's all British.
- 1:54:07Speaker 2: And then spigot instead of faucet.
- 1:54:09Speaker 3: Spigot. Never did that. Spigot. Spigot.
- 1:54:12Speaker 5: Spigot.
- 1:54:13Speaker 3: I've never used that word.
- 1:54:14Speaker 4: The only time I hear spigot is like water spigot
- 1:54:17Speaker 4: for your teeth or something, right?
- 1:54:19Speaker 2: No, that's a water pick.
- 1:54:20Speaker 4: Water pick? I've had people call that a spigot.
- 1:54:23Speaker 3: And you only use those in autumn.
- 1:54:24Speaker 2: Yeah, just water picket.
- 1:54:25Speaker 4: Look, you're using words I don't know.
- 1:54:27Speaker 5: I will say, yeah, rednecks growing up in Tennessee use spigot. Hey,
- 1:54:30Speaker 5: cut down a spigot.
- 1:54:31Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah. 877. Yeah.
- 1:54:34Speaker 2: Yeah, kids say backpack, never book bag.
- 1:54:37Speaker 5: Yeah, no book bag.
- 1:54:38Speaker 2: Yeah, and my wife is very specific when it comes
- 1:54:40Speaker 2: to bathing suits, swimsuit, and then sneakers and tennis shoes.
- 1:54:44Speaker 3: Tennis shoes.
- 1:54:45Speaker 5: Who says bathing suit? You gotta go bathe in it.
- 1:54:48Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 1:54:49Speaker 2: I don't know if I ever thought about go bathe
- 1:54:51Speaker 2: in it. That's how that sounds.
- 1:54:53Speaker 3: When you put it like that. No, it's a bathing suit.
- 1:54:55Speaker 5: A bathing suit.
- 1:54:55Speaker 3: Bathing suit, yeah. Yeah. I don't know. I'll interchange them.
- 1:54:59Speaker 5: Do you bathe in a bathing suit?
- 1:55:01Speaker 3: I mean.
- 1:55:02Speaker 2: It's a swimsuit.
- 1:55:03Speaker 4: Are you necessarily swimming?
- 1:55:05Speaker 8: No.
- 1:55:07Speaker 5: True, I could be waiting. You could be bathing in
- 1:55:09Speaker 5: the sun. My sunbathing suit. It has to go back
- 1:55:12Speaker 5: to like bathhouses and, you know, the baths.
- 1:55:16Speaker 2: But it's one of those I never thought, if somebody
- 1:55:18Speaker 2: said swimsuit, like I wouldn't be like, excuse you, it's
- 1:55:20Speaker 2: a bathing suit.
- 1:55:21Speaker 5: A bathing suit just seems very old-timey.
- 1:55:23Speaker 2: They're interchangeable.
- 1:55:24Speaker 3: Absolutely.
- 1:55:25Speaker 2: Sneakers, tennis shoes, same thing, interchangeable.
- 1:55:27Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 1:55:28Speaker 3: I do call them sneakers, though. I don't say either.
- 1:55:30Speaker 3: I just say shoes. I never say gym shoes.
- 1:55:33Speaker 1: No.
- 1:55:33Speaker 8: Ever.
- 1:55:34Speaker 5: Never.
- 1:55:35Speaker 3: Never said that.
- 1:55:35Speaker 5: My mom was always like, go get your gym shoes.

- 1:56:15Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 1:56:16Speaker 3: Do it.
- 1:56:17Speaker 2: Here, here.
- 1:56:18Speaker 3: You know what I'm saying? Oh, my God.
- 1:56:21Speaker 2: It's crazy how emotionally invested people get into other people
- 1:56:26Speaker 2: that they don't know.
- 1:56:27Speaker 3: That have never met you, don't know you, don't.
- 1:56:30Speaker 2: Care about you. And probably wouldn't even like you.
- 1:56:32Speaker 5: Right.
- 1:56:33Speaker 2: I know you, and I can tell you, you got
- 1:56:35Speaker 2: a rotten personality.
- 1:56:36Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah.
- 1:56:37Speaker 5: It's so popular now it has a name.
- 1:56:38Speaker 6: It's the parasocial relationship that only goes one way with
- 1:56:42Speaker 6: a celebrity.
- 1:56:43Speaker 3: Is that Stanning?
- 1:56:44Speaker 5: Outstanding, yeah.
- 1:56:45Speaker 3: Taping, right? Exactly. Bizarre.
- 1:56:47Speaker 2: All right, thank you very much, Greg Gorey.
