- 0:06Speaker 1: Today we're going to take a deep dive on Hydera
- 0:08Speaker 1: and give you guys an outlook and also kind of
- 0:11Speaker 1: an overall market position. You guys want to stay tuned
- 0:13Speaker 1: for this. My name is Paul Barrel. Welcome back into
- 0:15Speaker 1: tech path. I do want to thank our sponsor and
- 0:17Speaker 1: that is Tangum. This is a great place for you
- 0:19Speaker 1: guys to get going on self custody and guess what
- 0:21Speaker 1: you can hold your Hadera over on Tangum and the wallet.
- 0:25Speaker 1: It's very simple, It's like a credit card. It works
- 0:28Speaker 1: with pretty much any phone out there, so you can
- 0:30Speaker 1: use this of course with Android and with Apple. Very
- 0:33Speaker 1: easy to set up and also super secure. It's one
- 0:36Speaker 1: of the best wallets that I have seen over my
- 0:38Speaker 1: years in crypto and it's one that I love.
- 0:41Speaker 2: So check it out. Use our link down below.
- 0:44Speaker 1: It's going to give you some additional discounts, so use that.
- 0:47Speaker 2: It does help the channel.
- 0:48Speaker 1: All right, joining me today, Since we were going to
- 0:50Speaker 1: be diving into Hadera, I thought, well, let's get one
- 0:53Speaker 1: of the best guys out there that understands the ecosystem,
- 0:57Speaker 1: and that is Brandon coming in from hbar Bull. By
- 1:00Speaker 1: the way, if you guys haven't checked out his channel.
- 1:02Speaker 1: It's right here, go subscribe right now. So I'm going
- 1:06Speaker 1: to do it right here on air, Brandon, I'm going
- 1:08Speaker 1: to subscribe to you right now.
- 1:10Speaker 3: So I appreciate it.
- 1:12Speaker 1: We are now subscribed to the hbar Bull. You do
- 1:15Speaker 1: a lot in the way of really kind of overviews
- 1:19Speaker 1: on what Hadera is up to around the project itself
- 1:24Speaker 1: in general.
- 1:25Speaker 2: How long?
- 1:25Speaker 1: First of all, how long have you been covering Hadera specifically?
- 1:29Speaker 4: So, I think my first video out on Hidera wasn't
- 1:32Speaker 4: twenty eighteen, the end of twenty eighteen, before the main
- 1:35Speaker 4: net actually launched. It goes back a while, but I've
- 1:37Speaker 4: been doing it full time since twenty twenty two. Number One,
- 1:40Speaker 4: I cover our DeFi ecosystem. I have something where I
- 1:43Speaker 4: specifically cover different projects, something called the built on Hidera Series,
- 1:47Speaker 4: And then every Friday I cover everything that's going on
- 1:50Speaker 4: in the ecosystem, just with a general update, a one
- 1:52Speaker 4: stop shop for anybody that's interesting in what happened.
- 1:55Speaker 3: Interested in what's happening?
- 1:56Speaker 1: Well, I think you know, Hadera kind of came out
- 1:58Speaker 1: of the scene in the last Bowl run. We saw
- 2:01Speaker 1: quite a few people starting to talk about it as
- 2:03Speaker 1: one of the major all coins, but it didn't really
- 2:05Speaker 1: get rolling. We started interviewing mans Harmon several years ago
- 2:10Speaker 1: and we were very impressed with kind of the vision
- 2:13Speaker 1: of what Hadera was trying to promise. And I think
- 2:16Speaker 1: that's the big issue that we're seeing right now is
- 2:19Speaker 1: there's a lot of things that we want to cover.
- 2:21Speaker 1: One question I have is in reference to the Governance
- 2:23Speaker 1: Council and the fact that it might shrink. This is
- 2:27Speaker 1: something I did not know, and that is there's term
- 2:30Speaker 1: limits on these.
- 2:31Speaker 2: I think it's like a three year term or something.
- 2:33Speaker 1: So here pretty soon we're going to see a lot
- 2:35Speaker 1: of these governance councils either exit or can they re up?
- 2:39Speaker 2: What is the process there?
- 2:41Speaker 4: So the way it works is you're right, it is
- 2:44Speaker 4: a three year term, but they can reup once, so
- 2:46Speaker 4: it's up to six years. There is going to be
- 2:48Speaker 4: some that are going to be rolling off towards the
- 2:50Speaker 4: end of this year. I talk regularly with one of
- 2:53Speaker 4: the h Derek Governing Council representatives, Rob Allen. He's from
- 2:57Speaker 4: Australian Payments Plus they're the payments processor out of Australia
- 3:03Speaker 4: and so he has the inside track, and he actually
- 3:05Speaker 4: thinks we're going to fill the council by the end
- 3:07Speaker 4: of the year, and the end of this year is
- 3:09Speaker 4: when we're actually going to start to see them roll off,
- 3:12Speaker 4: So we should fill the council. Right now, we're at
- 3:14Speaker 4: thirty get up to thirty nine by the end of
- 3:17Speaker 4: the year. Have I think nine are supposed to roll off,
- 3:20Speaker 4: and I think right around that same time we're probably
- 3:22Speaker 4: going to have a few additional ones add on. So
- 3:25Speaker 4: right now at thirty I think we are at critical mass.
- 3:29Speaker 4: We have the necessary expertise and a nice diversification both
- 3:34Speaker 4: in different sectors and different geographies to have good coverage
- 3:39Speaker 4: and be able to manage and govern this network appropriately.
- 3:42Speaker 1: So here's something that you know, we've been kind of
- 3:45Speaker 1: chatting about within our research team is why not just
- 3:49Speaker 1: open this up to an unlimited number. Has there ever
- 3:52Speaker 1: been any discussion about that.
- 3:54Speaker 4: There has been some discussion around it. I think it's
- 3:57Speaker 4: because when you're managing something like this and trying to
- 4:00Speaker 4: get people to vote and moving something in a way
- 4:03Speaker 4: that you want to make sure it stays efficient. You
- 4:06Speaker 4: don't want it to become two unwieldy. So thirty nine
- 4:09Speaker 4: was a random number. I think that could change in
- 4:12Speaker 4: the future. But just because you're not part of the
- 4:14Speaker 4: governing council, you just take one three year term off
- 4:17Speaker 4: and you could come right back on the council after that.
- 4:19Speaker 4: But they did want to have, you know, diversification, not
- 4:22Speaker 4: just in sector and geography, but they also wanted diversification
- 4:26Speaker 4: over time and something, you know, people being able to
- 4:28Speaker 4: roll off over time. But I do think that, you know,
- 4:33Speaker 4: going forward, it's going to be important to continue to
- 4:37Speaker 4: have new and different council members come on and off.
- 4:41Speaker 4: I think they've done a great job. They've focused on
- 4:43Speaker 4: governance because they saw that that was an issue with
- 4:45Speaker 4: a lot of these dlts in the past.
- 4:47Speaker 2: Yeah, who's going to be number thirty one? Right here?
- 4:50Speaker 2: We're setting on it.
- 4:51Speaker 1: I mean, you've had you've got Google in here, Dell's
- 4:54Speaker 1: in here, Bitgo, a lot of recognized names, LG on
- 4:57Speaker 1: that side, even got a you know, a manufacturer in Mondolies.
- 5:02Speaker 2: What about number thirty one?
- 5:03Speaker 3: Any announcements, I'm not sure.
- 5:05Speaker 4: I don't have any inside information on who might be next,
- 5:07Speaker 4: but I would like to see an auto manufacturer, and
- 5:10Speaker 4: I would like to see an energy company. We have EDF,
- 5:12Speaker 4: but they're more of an electricity provider, not an energy company.
- 5:16Speaker 4: So those two I would really like to see at it.
- 5:18Speaker 1: Last time I was on with Man, you know, we
- 5:21Speaker 1: were looking at the potential of IP and being able
- 5:25Speaker 1: to basically utilize the blockchain for filmmakers, etc. And obviously
- 5:30Speaker 1: if you think about Netflix, someone like that would be
- 5:34Speaker 1: just perfect, especially as you guys are and when I
- 5:37Speaker 1: say you guys, Hadera as getting into what appears to
- 5:40Speaker 1: be some interesting entertainment areas. One is going to be
- 5:43Speaker 1: Karate Combat, which is a Hadera based platform. I guess
- 5:48Speaker 1: we're going to talk about that in a second. But
- 5:50Speaker 1: when you look at one of the things that could
- 5:53Speaker 1: apply to Hadera as well as the rest of the market,
- 5:55Speaker 1: and that is tariffs, do you feel like this is
- 5:58Speaker 1: going to be anything that's going to impact Hadera in general?
- 6:01Speaker 1: This of course came from Hendera's x account. You can
- 6:05Speaker 1: kind of see in Vidia and Intel obviously all being
- 6:10Speaker 1: affected here. Those also are being affected by in general tariffs.
- 6:15Speaker 2: What are your thoughts there.
- 6:16Speaker 1: Is that something that you know in video would benefit
- 6:19Speaker 1: most from What are your thoughts?
- 6:21Speaker 4: Well, I mean, so in Nvidia and Intel are using
- 6:24Speaker 4: Hydera through a team called Equity Lab. It's all around AI,
- 6:28Speaker 4: and what they're trying to do is track the provenance
- 6:31Speaker 4: of data that's going into these large language models, making
- 6:34Speaker 4: sure that providence of information is tracked, and dlts are
- 6:37Speaker 4: a perfect place to do that. They're actually going to
- 6:39Speaker 4: be embedding Hydera technology directly into Nvidia and Intel chips.
- 6:44Speaker 4: I mean, this is mind blowing stuff, but Hidera really
- 6:47Speaker 4: is leading in that space. So we have this one
- 6:49Speaker 4: integration with in Nvidia and Intel. We also have proove AI,
- 6:54Speaker 4: which came over from Casper. Actually the core team from
- 6:57Speaker 4: Casper Labs rebranded to prove AI and they're actually going
- 7:01Speaker 4: to be building on top of Hydera. It's difficult to
- 7:04Speaker 4: also run a network, a blockchain and also do something else,
- 7:08Speaker 4: and prove AI is there something else, So they've left
- 7:12Speaker 4: the Casper blockchain. They're going to build it on top
- 7:14Speaker 4: of Hydera and I'm excited to see what they're going
- 7:17Speaker 4: to come out with. And then standards just came out
- 7:19Speaker 4: around AI as well on Hydera by a team called
- 7:22Speaker 4: hashgraf Online. But these standards are really important. They're going
- 7:25Speaker 4: to allow agents to interact with other agents, agents to
- 7:30Speaker 4: interact with users and so forth. And it's not just
- 7:33Speaker 4: communication but also transfer of value. It's really going to
- 7:37Speaker 4: be interesting what comes out in the future, and I
- 7:39Speaker 4: hope to see more standards like this going forward.
- 7:41Speaker 1: Well, with that being mentioned, you have to look at
- 7:45Speaker 1: this whole project around seal sq because that's another phase.
- 7:50Speaker 2: I think. Do you feel like this is one of the.
- 7:51Speaker 1: More valuable projects that are implementing on the HIDERA blockchain.
- 7:58Speaker 3: Without a doubt.
- 7:59Speaker 4: So Deepen is a place where it's a true frontier
- 8:01Speaker 4: use case, and Hidera is certainly excelling there and clsq
- 8:06Speaker 4: is a great example of it. They already have satellites
- 8:09Speaker 4: that are set up for transactional Internet of things, so
- 8:12Speaker 4: not just IoT, but transactional Internet of things, allowing these
- 8:16Speaker 4: objects to transact with each other, transfer value back and
- 8:20Speaker 4: forth with each other. They already have I think a
- 8:23Speaker 4: constellation of seventeen satellites that are already in orbit. They
- 8:27Speaker 4: set up an additional one in January. They have some
- 8:30Speaker 4: more that are going to be going up here shortly.
- 8:32Speaker 4: And what they're going to do with HIDERA is the
- 8:35Speaker 4: medium of exchange between these objects is going to be
- 8:38Speaker 4: a token that's built on top of HIDERA, and they
- 8:42Speaker 4: already have. CLSQ already has a tremendous amount of objects
- 8:46Speaker 4: already out there that are ready to take part in
- 8:49Speaker 4: this transactional Internet of Things revolution, and the next phase
- 8:54Speaker 4: is going to be getting more people, more manufacturers on
- 8:58Speaker 4: board that want this kind kind of ability within their objects.
- 9:03Speaker 4: The thing that jumped out to me about that is
- 9:05Speaker 4: the last time I talked to Carlos, the CEO over
- 9:08Speaker 4: at CLSQ, he said, we don't want to launch the
- 9:11Speaker 4: token until we have five big use cases or five
- 9:15Speaker 4: big manufacturers that are going to want our technology in
- 9:19Speaker 4: their devices. I know they're focused on smart homes, smart cities,
- 9:23Speaker 4: autonomous vehicles, drones and so forth, but I was thinking,
- 9:27Speaker 4: I'm like, wait a second, you just announced twenty one
- 9:30Speaker 4: million smart meters that are going to be going out,
- 9:32Speaker 4: and you want to find bigger use cases, which is
- 9:35Speaker 4: of course exciting, but I just thought that was interesting
- 9:37Speaker 4: that they just had that announcement that the UK government
- 9:41Speaker 4: was going to have all these smart meters come out,
- 9:42Speaker 4: but he's waiting until they get even bigger partners before
- 9:45Speaker 4: announcing and launching their token.
- 9:47Speaker 1: Well, IoT, I think to a certain extent, many people
- 9:51Speaker 1: would look at it as as one of those technologies
- 9:54Speaker 1: that is very subliminal. Many you know, a lot of
- 9:56Speaker 1: people don't get excited about it, you know, because it's
- 9:58Speaker 1: kind of it's a background, and I think maybe that's
- 10:01Speaker 1: the direction he's going. He's probably looking for major partnerships
- 10:04Speaker 1: that would affect people in their everyday lives that they
- 10:07Speaker 1: would recognize because this is one of those things they
- 10:09Speaker 1: probably wouldn't even know it's happening, you know, because so
- 10:12Speaker 1: I could see that happening. Let's talk about the banking
- 10:16Speaker 1: side of things. Bank social This is a credit union.
- 10:18Speaker 1: But when you look at banking on what hbar versus
- 10:23Speaker 1: what we're seeing with something like say an XRP or
- 10:27Speaker 1: potentially other blockchains that are starting to make and most
- 10:32Speaker 1: likely we'll see more making real connections with mainstream banking.
- 10:36Speaker 1: I'm not talking about credit unions, but Bank of America,
- 10:40Speaker 1: Wells far Ago, you know, getting into potential banks that
- 10:43Speaker 1: are probably going to hold crypto in the very near
- 10:46Speaker 1: future and are probably going to partner with blockchains like
- 10:49Speaker 1: hadera is. Do you feel like there's any opportunity there
- 10:53Speaker 1: for them.
- 10:54Speaker 4: Oh, there's no question. We do have some banks that
- 10:56Speaker 4: are already on the HITDREK government Council, one of them
- 10:58Speaker 4: being Shinhan Bank think it's the oldest bank in South Korea,
- 11:03Speaker 4: and they did a pilot with cross border payments I
- 11:06Speaker 4: think about eighteen months ago or so. Recently, there was
- 11:09Speaker 4: a convention for Hadera that was focused on a lot
- 11:12Speaker 4: of different topics, but one of them was payments and
- 11:16Speaker 4: we had Swift there, so we I think her name
- 11:19Speaker 4: was Alissa DiCaprio that was there. And I don't know
- 11:23Speaker 4: for a fact if Swift is actually going to be
- 11:25Speaker 4: building anything on Hidea, but obviously if they're coming up
- 11:28Speaker 4: to our conferences, there is some communication there and I
- 11:31Speaker 4: could see some things get done. The other thing that
- 11:34Speaker 4: came out not long ago was around something from FSCO,
- 11:40Speaker 4: the Financial Services Company, and they have done work with
- 11:43Speaker 4: taking a platform that's sunsetting right now, MasterCard Providence, which
- 11:49Speaker 4: was like a private blockchain, and moving over to Hidera.
- 11:53Speaker 3: Well.
- 11:53Speaker 4: They've created a consortium of banks in the Philippines that
- 11:57Speaker 4: are focused on remittances in particular, and I think they're
- 12:00Speaker 4: number four or five in the world as far as remittances,
- 12:03Speaker 4: and they've created a Filipino Peso stable coin, and they're starting.
- 12:08Speaker 4: They're getting right off the bat, working with those banks
- 12:11Speaker 4: working on those remittances, and from what I've heard, that's
- 12:13Speaker 4: been very successful. And David said that he wants to
- 12:15Speaker 4: come on pretty soon because he has some more news
- 12:18Speaker 4: that he wants to share about that. So I think
- 12:19Speaker 4: all of these networks are going to etch out their
- 12:23Speaker 4: own niche, but I think Hidera is going to compete
- 12:25Speaker 4: really well on that front.
- 12:27Speaker 3: Well.
- 12:27Speaker 1: I think the banking sector is going to have so
- 12:29Speaker 1: many new partnerships amounts announced this year just because of
- 12:33Speaker 1: what we'll see in terms of stable coin regulation that's
- 12:35Speaker 1: coming through, So we can see see some really big announcements.
- 12:40Speaker 2: It would be nice to make.
- 12:42Speaker 1: Sure, I hope if Hadera's out there listening to this,
- 12:45Speaker 1: that we get Hadera connected to one of the major
- 12:48Speaker 1: mainstream banks, because I think that would absolutely open it
- 12:52Speaker 1: up in terms of just people aware of what hbar
- 12:56Speaker 1: and what Hadera is really capable of.
- 12:58Speaker 2: Overall.
- 12:59Speaker 1: Speaking of that, I'm over on the foundation page right here.
- 13:02Speaker 1: Karate Combat is doing their first Layer two, So I'm
- 13:07Speaker 1: confused on this. Why would they need to launch a
- 13:10Speaker 1: layer two.
- 13:13Speaker 2: On HAYDERA, Well, I'm not quite.
- 13:15Speaker 3: It's a great question.
- 13:17Speaker 4: Yeah, no, because probably because of the scale, right, because
- 13:19Speaker 4: Derek can handle pretty much unlimited scale. We can handle
- 13:22Speaker 4: many tens of thousands of transactions per second per shard,
- 13:26Speaker 4: and it's already designed to be sharded. They're working on
- 13:29Speaker 4: the final touches around a few more things that need
- 13:33Speaker 4: to be done to allow complete sharding to be done,
- 13:36Speaker 4: splitting up the network, allowing those chards to be able
- 13:38Speaker 4: to communicate with each other. But that's going to allow
- 13:40Speaker 4: pretty much unlimited scaling. But just because you can have
- 13:44Speaker 4: uplimited scaling doesn't mean that things like hash graf spheres
- 13:48Speaker 4: or this uplayer too aren't necessary because they're more flexible.
- 13:52Speaker 4: One of the things that Uplayer two wants to do
- 13:54Speaker 4: is karate combat, just to give a little bit of
- 13:57Speaker 4: an overview of what karate combat does. Engagement creating superfans.
- 14:02Speaker 4: What you do is you pick the fighters on one
- 14:04Speaker 4: of their fight cards that you think are going to win.
- 14:06Speaker 4: If they win, you get more tokens. If you lose,
- 14:09Speaker 4: you don't lose anything. And they do that through sponsorships
- 14:11Speaker 4: and things like that. Some of it was built into
- 14:13Speaker 4: the initial tokenomics, but they wanted this up only gaming concept,
- 14:18Speaker 4: which really is lightning in a bottle, to spread to
- 14:21Speaker 4: other leagues. They also want these other leagues, even though
- 14:25Speaker 4: they can use the Karate Combat tech to launch their
- 14:29Speaker 4: token wherever they want, so it could be on a
- 14:31Speaker 4: lot of ethereum or wherever base.
- 14:33Speaker 3: And so forth.
- 14:34Speaker 4: It's the interoperability that's what the Layer two really is for,
- 14:38Speaker 4: because if they're using the Karate Combat tech that they
- 14:41Speaker 4: used for their application, which all these leagues are doing,
- 14:44Speaker 4: it needs to be a Hydero tooken. So they're using
- 14:47Speaker 4: ag layer and their Layer two to transfer the tokens
- 14:50Speaker 4: that might be launched on another network over to the
- 14:53Speaker 4: hidare that it becomes a hyderotoken that can interact with
- 14:55Speaker 4: the tech stack that Karate Combat has created.
- 14:58Speaker 1: Not to mention this, this could get big because you
- 15:01Speaker 1: got ufco of course partnering. I think it was with
- 15:03Speaker 1: v Chain. Dana was on not too long ago showcasing that.
- 15:08Speaker 1: So the point is is that these people are starting
- 15:11Speaker 1: to understand how blockchain could work with their organizations. So
- 15:15Speaker 1: that's good. Let's talk about staking and in general. You
- 15:20Speaker 1: look at staking on HANDERA and I look at this
- 15:24Speaker 1: and I go, gosh, why is this not more? Why
- 15:28Speaker 1: are we not seeing higher staking rates to be able
- 15:32Speaker 1: to really I mean, because you think about this, the
- 15:34Speaker 1: opportunity here would be pretty huge since we're seeing so
- 15:38Speaker 1: much happening. You think about GDO with Solana and many
- 15:42Speaker 1: others that really have the ability to earn some fairly
- 15:46Speaker 1: consistent rewards. What do you think is holding Handera back here?
- 15:50Speaker 4: I'm actually not sure why. I'm a big believer in
- 15:53Speaker 4: staking rewards. I think a bottoms up way to distribute
- 15:57Speaker 4: tokens and the people that are working in the the
- 16:00Speaker 4: Hidera ecosystem in the h BAR economy that are successful
- 16:04Speaker 4: and get more h BAR, then they can get additional
- 16:07Speaker 4: h BAR to continue whatever they're building. I think it's
- 16:09Speaker 4: a good way to distribute tokens. Of course, you know
- 16:11Speaker 4: there's grants through the h BAR Foundation and the Hashgraft Association,
- 16:15Speaker 4: which makes sense as well, and of course you have
- 16:16Speaker 4: to support your teams as well. But I would like
- 16:18Speaker 4: to see everybody on a level playing field, from the
- 16:21Speaker 4: investors in the h BAR token to builders that are
- 16:25Speaker 4: acquiring tokens through whatever it is. It could be a
- 16:28Speaker 4: dex or it might be an NFT exchange or something
- 16:31Speaker 4: along those lines. I would like to see staking rewards
- 16:35Speaker 4: go up a little bit. I'm sure since we don't
- 16:37Speaker 4: have higher staking rewards at this point. I'm sure there
- 16:40Speaker 4: is objections out there for some reason, but I just
- 16:42Speaker 4: don't know them. So one of the things that I
- 16:44Speaker 4: would like to see is whatever objections they are there
- 16:47Speaker 4: are in the Governing Council or elsewhere, I would like
- 16:49Speaker 4: those to be brought forward and discuss publicly. So if
- 16:52Speaker 4: there are solutions to that so we can have higher
- 16:55Speaker 4: staking rewards, we could see that in the future.
- 16:57Speaker 1: Well, hey man, you're the h BAR bull be able
- 17:00Speaker 1: to do that on your show. Bring it up to
- 17:02Speaker 1: the community and just say dropping in the comments down below,
- 17:06Speaker 1: why do you think this is not cooking?
- 17:09Speaker 3: I've been pushing it for a while.
- 17:10Speaker 4: I will say that Charles Adkins, he's the new CEO
- 17:14Speaker 4: of the HBAR Foundation. He just got in seat at
- 17:17Speaker 4: the beginning of this year. He's done some amazing things.
- 17:20Speaker 4: Or the HBAR Foundation in general has done some great
- 17:22Speaker 4: things on the infrastructure side of things. They've gotten a
- 17:25Speaker 4: lot more support for USDC. They've got to get their
- 17:28Speaker 4: ducks in a row. So I don't know if this
- 17:30Speaker 4: is something that they're going to try to push a
- 17:31Speaker 4: little bit further on down the line. There's also other
- 17:34Speaker 4: ways they can incentivize the Hbar economy through rewards of
- 17:38Speaker 4: liquid staking or defive rewards and things like that. So
- 17:42Speaker 4: I'm not really sure what his plans are at this point,
- 17:45Speaker 4: but you should have him on and maybe you can
- 17:46Speaker 4: get some more information.
- 17:47Speaker 2: Well, he is.
- 17:48Speaker 1: Set to be on our show next week, so hopefully
- 17:52Speaker 1: if they show up, we will ask that question to
- 17:55Speaker 1: him and find out. Hey, let's take a look at
- 17:58Speaker 1: DeFi Lama. We got to take a look at TVL
- 18:02Speaker 1: and also APP revenue. There's the TVL somewhat plateaued here
- 18:05Speaker 1: right now, but APP rev a revenue, which is that
- 18:09Speaker 1: those purple bars for you guys watching this and not
- 18:12Speaker 1: on the audio podcast that has been falling. So why
- 18:17Speaker 1: do you think that is what is going on within
- 18:20Speaker 1: the Hydera ecosystem that we could be seeing APP revenue dropping.
- 18:25Speaker 4: We had a big run up in November where a
- 18:27Speaker 4: lot of the so called dino coins, the utility coins,
- 18:30Speaker 4: had a good run up. H Bar was one of
- 18:31Speaker 4: the ones that did really well during that time. There
- 18:34Speaker 4: was a lot of excitement during that November December timeframe,
- 18:37Speaker 4: there was a lot of trading going on. I think
- 18:39Speaker 4: that's probably why you saw a lot of app going out.
- 18:42Speaker 1: So yeah, you're probably right that looks like about December
- 18:44Speaker 1: when those numbers are going up. But in reality, I
- 18:49Speaker 1: mean we also have bitcoin kind of moving now. Markets
- 18:53Speaker 1: feels I would say still even though tariffs have probably
- 18:57Speaker 1: caused a lot of contraction around overall.
- 19:00Speaker 2: Do you feel like what about projects?
- 19:02Speaker 1: Do you feel like there's are we continuing to see
- 19:05Speaker 1: growth in terms of projects coming onto Hadera that would
- 19:08Speaker 1: maybe help contribute to this.
- 19:10Speaker 4: There's no question about that. I mean, talking about DeFi
- 19:13Speaker 4: and talking about Dexas, I think it's a good example.
- 19:16Speaker 4: And I've always wanted to watch I test my theory
- 19:19Speaker 4: around headera on a regular basis, which I'm sure you
- 19:21Speaker 4: do around your investments as well. And when I first
- 19:24Speaker 4: saw things like NFT marketplaces, I was like, this is
- 19:27Speaker 4: a proof of concept for things like DeFi, which we
- 19:31Speaker 4: saw come along after that. And then I was like, well,
- 19:33Speaker 4: this is going to move into the traditional financial space
- 19:36Speaker 4: as well, and is that going to happen on Hydera
- 19:39Speaker 4: And then we started to see commodities exchanges, so the
- 19:42Speaker 4: Digital Commodities Exchange and then verto come online. So then
- 19:45Speaker 4: my question was is this going to continue? Are we
- 19:47Speaker 4: going to continue to see these other net things like
- 19:51Speaker 4: NFT exchanges and dex's become proof of concepts for things
- 19:56Speaker 4: in the traditional financial space. So of course the next
- 19:58Speaker 4: step is going to be stock market and we're seeing
- 20:01Speaker 4: that right now with the latest newcomer to the HIDAA
- 20:04Speaker 4: Government Council is the Nairobi Securities Exchange and they just
- 20:09Speaker 4: announced this past Monday that they are launching their digital branch,
- 20:13Speaker 4: so they're going to have all of their stocks, they're
- 20:17Speaker 4: going to move those into tokenized form and allow trading there.
- 20:21Speaker 4: So we're seeing exactly what I thought we were going
- 20:23Speaker 4: to see in that progression from you know, real web
- 20:26Speaker 4: three marketplaces into the traditional space and then smaller stock
- 20:31Speaker 4: exchanges like the Nairobi Stock Exchange will become proofs of
- 20:35Speaker 4: concept for the Texas Stock Exchange, the New York Stock Exchange, foots,
- 20:38Speaker 4: the nie K and so forth. So I think it's
- 20:40Speaker 4: going down the line that I expected.
- 20:42Speaker 2: Interesting.
- 20:43Speaker 1: Well, okay, well, we know that black Rock is very
- 20:46Speaker 1: tied into what's going to happen in that direction. Obviously
- 20:48Speaker 1: they've been going at right now ethereum primarily with what
- 20:53Speaker 1: they're doing with token is securities, and.
- 20:55Speaker 2: Most likely we're going to see more of that.
- 20:57Speaker 1: Speaking of that, and maybe this will answer that question,
- 21:00Speaker 1: because this is the bridge possibility between Hedera and eth.
- 21:04Speaker 2: You know, we'll call it avalanche base.
- 21:07Speaker 1: But why do you First of all, why would someone
- 21:11Speaker 1: want a bridge? You guys are using this ecosystem a lot,
- 21:14Speaker 1: so what would be some of the key reasons.
- 21:16Speaker 4: Sure, the interoperability is going to be really important. An
- 21:20Speaker 4: entity might create their tokenized assets on one chain but
- 21:24Speaker 4: realize that that might not be the place they want
- 21:26Speaker 4: to be long term, so they might want to move
- 21:28Speaker 4: over to a more efficient Chaine or something like that.
- 21:30Speaker 4: So that's certainly a possibility, just movement of capital. We
- 21:33Speaker 4: have a fair amount of real world asset tokenization that's happening.
- 21:36Speaker 4: We have our chacks they've tokenized like you mentioned the
- 21:39Speaker 4: black Rock fund, they have a Fidelity fund, and Aberdeen
- 21:42Speaker 4: which is one of the Headeric Government Council. They've all
- 21:45Speaker 4: tokenized funds on Headera. We have things like red Swan,
- 21:48Speaker 4: which is doing real estate. We have all of our
- 21:50Speaker 4: DeFi opportunities we have even a fractionalization and tokenization of
- 21:55Speaker 4: whiskey casks with cass capital.
- 21:58Speaker 1: And really in the ecosystems because that's expose a lot
- 22:00Speaker 1: more liquidity as well in many US an earios like that.
- 22:03Speaker 1: Let's talk about moving forward on the TikTok deal. And
- 22:07Speaker 1: I think the reason that I bring this up I
- 22:09Speaker 1: want actually let's go to a clip first. This is
- 22:12Speaker 1: Kevin O'Leary talking about this, and then I'll go to
- 22:16Speaker 1: the point of why we think Cadera would be a
- 22:18Speaker 1: good match.
- 22:19Speaker 2: Take a look.
- 22:20Speaker 5: But I think this time there will not be a
- 22:23Speaker 5: third extension from the White House Executive pen ain't gonna happen.
- 22:28Speaker 5: So we're in a pressure cooker right now on TikTok.
- 22:31Speaker 4: Just to clarify, you are still interested in this pursuit
- 22:33Speaker 4: of TikTok.
- 22:34Speaker 2: One hundred percent.
- 22:36Speaker 5: Frank McCourt and I have been working on this so
- 22:39Speaker 5: long and it's such time money.
- 22:42Speaker 2: We're not giving up.
- 22:43Speaker 5: We're like the dog biting your leg right here, We're
- 22:46Speaker 5: not going to stop.
- 22:47Speaker 2: All right.
- 22:47Speaker 1: Good for just to bring everybody up to speed on this.
- 22:50Speaker 1: So Kevin O'Leary is part of an investment group that's
- 22:53Speaker 1: being driven under Frank McCourt and along with many other people,
- 22:57Speaker 1: we got Alexa, So Hannian is in this, Mister Beast
- 23:00Speaker 1: is in it. And you look at the potential here
- 23:04Speaker 1: on polymarket and what you're going to notice here, of course,
- 23:08Speaker 1: is Oracle kind of leading the way. Larry Ellison, these
- 23:11Speaker 1: are percentages of the possibility of an acquisition for TikTok okay.
- 23:15Speaker 2: Who will acquire.
- 23:16Speaker 1: But outside of the big guys, you got Tim Stokely's,
- 23:20Speaker 1: this is Hidera, that's Sara, So why why not have
- 23:26Speaker 1: Hadera join Frank McCort and essentially Polka Dot possibly in
- 23:34Speaker 1: integrating some sort of partnership that could bring this across
- 23:38Speaker 1: the line, because it seems like they're going to be competing.
- 23:41Speaker 4: If you add those two up, it would make perfect sense.
- 23:43Speaker 4: So as you mentioned there, Hidera is in with an
- 23:48Speaker 4: entity called Zoup and Zoop has been building on Hydera
- 23:51Speaker 4: for some time and they are shifting a little bit.
- 23:54Speaker 4: They want to get into empowering creators, right, and that's
- 23:57Speaker 4: what TikTok is all about, their creators out there doing
- 24:00Speaker 4: amazing things. We already have a social media platform that
- 24:02Speaker 4: that's built on hit Derek called Galaxy. They've done some
- 24:05Speaker 4: amazing things as well. I actually manage my community through Galaxy.
- 24:08Speaker 4: It's token gated through an NFT that I have, and
- 24:10Speaker 4: people can come in and get early content and so forth.
- 24:12Speaker 4: It's a great way to have Web three engagement. But
- 24:16Speaker 4: if one of these other entities acquires TikTok, it's going
- 24:19Speaker 4: to be the same old thing. If the two entities
- 24:22Speaker 4: that you're talking about acquire TikTok, it brings the Web
- 24:25Speaker 4: three layer to it. It allows payments to be transacted
- 24:30Speaker 4: between all of the different parties, whether it's the users,
- 24:33Speaker 4: whether it's the creators, and it allows the creators to
- 24:37Speaker 4: monetize themselves in a completely different way. Also tipping, and
- 24:41Speaker 4: you know, your likes can have value added to them,
- 24:44Speaker 4: and you could really create a super app with it.
- 24:46Speaker 3: It could take it to a whole.
- 24:47Speaker 2: Other level, no doubt.
- 24:48Speaker 1: I think if blockchain is achievable in social and we
- 24:52Speaker 1: do truly get a decentralized social media platform, that could
- 24:56Speaker 1: lead the way for shifting the entire I think the
- 25:00Speaker 1: entire landscape of social x would probably follow Facebook. You know, Zuckerberg,
- 25:05Speaker 1: he's kind of cagy. I'm not sure he would but
- 25:07Speaker 1: he might. You know, you never know if we get
- 25:09Speaker 1: you know, something that would really be tangible.
- 25:11Speaker 2: Especially if the creators go.
- 25:13Speaker 1: If the creators go and you've got mister Beast, Jimmy's
- 25:15Speaker 1: over there, he sees the window.
- 25:17Speaker 2: He understands this.
- 25:19Speaker 1: I understand it in the sense of this would open
- 25:21Speaker 1: up a huge opportunity going forward, for sure. Let's talk
- 25:25Speaker 1: about gaming a little bit. Ubisoft Ferguson, Robbie Ferguson, This
- 25:29Speaker 1: is iMX immutable for some of you guys brand new
- 25:32Speaker 1: to Crypto. They are a gaming platform that have been
- 25:36Speaker 1: around since early the last bull run, and they've kind
- 25:39Speaker 1: of been up and down. iMX has been, you know,
- 25:42Speaker 1: kind of a love affair and a not love affair
- 25:44Speaker 1: from us, and they, of course part They announced this
- 25:48Speaker 1: partnership with Ubisoft, and of course this is all about
- 25:51Speaker 1: might and magic.
- 25:51Speaker 2: Okay.
- 25:52Speaker 1: So concept I'm getting at is that's gaming Ubisoft on
- 25:56Speaker 1: the council essentially of Hadera.
- 25:59Speaker 2: What is going on here?
- 26:01Speaker 1: Would why wouldn't we have seen maybe a partnership over
- 26:05Speaker 1: here on the gaming side with Headera.
- 26:08Speaker 4: It's a good question the council members aren't necessarily exclusively
- 26:12Speaker 4: on Hydera of course they're looking at all of these
- 26:14Speaker 4: different platforms and participating. I do know for a fact
- 26:17Speaker 4: that Ubisoft is doing some interesting things with Hidera or
- 26:21Speaker 4: entities that are building on Hadera R. But you know,
- 26:24Speaker 4: when is that stuff going to come to Fruition. I
- 26:26Speaker 4: don't know, but I do think no matter what one
- 26:28Speaker 4: of these fronts are, one of these verticals that we're
- 26:30Speaker 4: talking about, I think Hydera does really compete well. And
- 26:33Speaker 4: you know, I'm excited to see some of the things
- 26:35Speaker 4: that I've heard around Ubisoft actually coming to Fruition on
- 26:39Speaker 4: the Headera network and some of the partners they have
- 26:41Speaker 4: in our space are exactly what what I would want
- 26:43Speaker 4: to see.
- 26:44Speaker 1: Yeah, well, I think the key here is is that
- 26:47Speaker 1: the Hedera ecosystem, when I talk to people around it,
- 26:52Speaker 1: you know, I feel like there isn't a lot of
- 26:54Speaker 1: commitment to the gaming side. Maybe that will change now
- 26:57Speaker 1: with the foundation, at least on the sense of just
- 26:59Speaker 1: making the platform more approachable for developers, because that's obviously
- 27:04Speaker 1: going to be the key component. Because with the council,
- 27:07Speaker 1: you would think there would be some open doors there
- 27:09Speaker 1: that might be able to really benefit you know, young
- 27:13Speaker 1: developers building out a gaming.
- 27:15Speaker 2: Ecosystem for sure. Let's talk about Phantom for a second.
- 27:19Speaker 1: We did this the other day with another guess and
- 27:22Speaker 1: it kind of sparked my interest on what was interesting
- 27:27Speaker 1: for adding to the Phantom ecosystem and what you see there?
- 27:30Speaker 2: Let me kind of zoom in on this.
- 27:32Speaker 1: XRPS ripple chain was the number one trending post right there,
- 27:37Speaker 1: had nine hundred and seventy four up votes there, and
- 27:40Speaker 1: then I thought, well, what else is this going on here?
- 27:43Speaker 2: And we go all the way down there.
- 27:44Speaker 1: You see Iota Flexa, you know, all sorts of them.
- 27:47Speaker 1: It kind of drops off OURPC endpoints. But Hadera was way, way,
- 27:52Speaker 1: way way down on the list and it had hardly
- 27:55Speaker 1: no votes. Why do you think we're not seeing if
- 27:59Speaker 1: we are talking interoperability, why are you Why do you
- 28:02Speaker 1: think we haven't seen a major shift to possibly partner
- 28:05Speaker 1: with someone like Fantom.
- 28:07Speaker 4: I think that it's just a Derek community not being
- 28:09Speaker 4: aware of it. So you're not getting a lot of
- 28:11Speaker 4: up votes in there.
- 28:12Speaker 2: Let's go, let's go.
- 28:16Speaker 4: Let's get the h barbarians out there, Let's get it,
- 28:18Speaker 4: get them voting for it. You don't get much more
- 28:19Speaker 4: dedicated than the h barbarians out there. You know, we're
- 28:22Speaker 4: asking them with the ETFs to go out and talk
- 28:26Speaker 4: to their brokers and make sure they support We ask
- 28:29Speaker 4: them to play all the games, get involved with karate
- 28:31Speaker 4: combat games like Earthlings and Legends of the Past. We
- 28:34Speaker 4: asked them to get involved. But this is something that
- 28:36Speaker 4: I hadn't brought up in the past. So thanks for
- 28:37Speaker 4: bringing to our attention.
- 28:39Speaker 1: All right, let's get it going, guys, get off of
- 28:41Speaker 1: those the barbarian war paths and let's get in here
- 28:44Speaker 1: and do this. Let's talk about meme coins. I'm looking
- 28:49Speaker 1: at deck screener right now. I'm over in the Hadara blockchain.
- 28:52Speaker 1: I'm trying to pick some winners here, Brandon. Okay, sure,
- 28:56Speaker 1: I feel like I feel like I'm on the you know,
- 28:58Speaker 1: on on the roulette table in Vegas most of the
- 29:02Speaker 1: time when I'm doing these. But you got Sauce in here.
- 29:05Speaker 1: Pack just launched here recently, so I mean, there's some
- 29:08Speaker 1: winners in here. Who would you of the ecosystem. You
- 29:12Speaker 1: can get a chance to talk to the hbar community
- 29:14Speaker 1: a lot more than we do. What are they talking
- 29:17Speaker 1: about here in terms of the meme tokens, which one.
- 29:19Speaker 3: Specifically about meme coins.
- 29:21Speaker 4: I'd like to get into some of the other HTS
- 29:22Speaker 4: tokens as well, but meme coins, right off the top
- 29:25Speaker 4: of my head, I think gibb is a great one.
- 29:27Speaker 3: Io.
- 29:28Speaker 4: I know right when h bar was making its run
- 29:31Speaker 4: back in November and a lot of these other utility
- 29:34Speaker 4: tokens ran Newter we like them, but he caught them
- 29:36Speaker 4: dino tokens, you know, things like XRP and h bar
- 29:39Speaker 4: and things like that. He was saying it to kind
- 29:41Speaker 4: of kind of put them down, but we embraced it,
- 29:43Speaker 4: and they created a meme around this dinosaur that owns
- 29:47Speaker 4: Dino inc.
- 29:48Speaker 3: I love that one.
- 29:49Speaker 4: I think it's really cool, really good art that comes
- 29:51Speaker 4: out around it. The old the og in the hidera
- 29:56Speaker 4: meme cooin space is growth and the founder on there
- 29:59Speaker 4: actually on things like this as grelf cracks me up.
- 30:03Speaker 4: And then the last one is kind of a utility
- 30:05Speaker 4: meme coin called smack Them and it's from one of
- 30:08Speaker 4: our gaming teams named Earthlinks. Probably toward the end of
- 30:12Speaker 4: this year, maybe early next year, they're going to be
- 30:13Speaker 4: launching their gaming Metaverse, which is going to have all
- 30:16Speaker 4: kinds of stuff. It's going to be a really large game,
- 30:18Speaker 4: but they have sidekick games as well. One of them
- 30:20Speaker 4: that went out was called steam Runner, and then another
- 30:22Speaker 4: one called Smack Them other token issuers, they'll add levels.
- 30:26Speaker 4: Dino is actually one of them, So not only do
- 30:28Speaker 4: they give out their mean token in Smack Them, but
- 30:31Speaker 4: they also give out tokens and create levels for some
- 30:35Speaker 4: of the other token issuers in the Headaire ecosystem. Dino
- 30:37Speaker 4: is an example of one of those. I know they're
- 30:39Speaker 4: trying to do one around karate combat as well, so
- 30:42Speaker 4: then you can issue some of your tokens through this
- 30:44Speaker 4: game that I like. That kind of utility bent to
- 30:47Speaker 4: meme coins as well.
- 30:48Speaker 2: Hey listen, Grelf is up. I'm looking at this.
- 30:51Speaker 1: This is over since April seventh, right now, three weeks,
- 30:54Speaker 1: this thing's up almost forty six percent.
- 30:56Speaker 2: So to your point right there, it's fun.
- 30:58Speaker 1: I think the as a reminder if you guys are
- 31:01Speaker 1: brand new to crypto and you're watching this, you know,
- 31:04Speaker 1: meme coins are gambling. Essentially, there's nothing to it. It's
- 31:08Speaker 1: just you have fun doing it. A lot of people
- 31:10Speaker 1: love it because of that. You know that nature in itself,
- 31:13Speaker 1: all right, So is the uh do you think that
- 31:16Speaker 1: what about the pack token because the hashpack token. Do
- 31:18Speaker 1: you think that could be a winner?
- 31:20Speaker 3: It has tremendous potential.
- 31:22Speaker 4: I'll go into you know, all of the different HDS tokens,
- 31:24Speaker 4: not all of them, but I think what kind of
- 31:27Speaker 4: happened when the meme coin craze of last year went
- 31:30Speaker 4: off the cliff? You know, you see, Bitcoin had come
- 31:33Speaker 4: down over the past few months. Now, of course it's
- 31:36Speaker 4: recovered a fair amount, but came down thirty percent. A
- 31:39Speaker 4: lot of the core platform tokens, the Layer one tokens,
- 31:43Speaker 4: they might have come down, you know, someplace between thirty
- 31:45Speaker 4: and sixty percent, but a lot of the other tokens
- 31:48Speaker 4: out there, they dropped off of a cliff, you know,
- 31:51Speaker 4: ninety nine percent down or ninety five percent down. And
- 31:53Speaker 4: a lot of the Hidera HTS tokens we saw the
- 31:55Speaker 4: same kind of thing. But I think there was a
- 31:57Speaker 4: lot of babies that got thrown out with the bathwater there.
- 32:00Speaker 4: Pack is certainly one of those. Sauce is one of them.
- 32:02Speaker 4: So Pack is the native token for the Premiere wallet
- 32:06Speaker 4: in the Hadera ecosystem, and I have done a tremendous job.
- 32:10Speaker 4: Sauce is the native token for the Premier decks in
- 32:13Speaker 4: the Hadera space, So that's saucer swap. They do a
- 32:16Speaker 4: fantastic job as well. But Karate is one that I've
- 32:19Speaker 4: actually been buying a fair amount lately. Not financial advice,
- 32:23Speaker 4: of course, but like I said, I think that's lightning
- 32:24Speaker 4: in a bottle and got hit really hard. So I've
- 32:27Speaker 4: been picking up some of those. There's a lot of
- 32:29Speaker 4: HTS tokens that I think have a lot of potential.
- 32:31Speaker 2: Interesting.
- 32:31Speaker 1: Well, if you look at Hedera right now retraced back
- 32:35Speaker 1: down to where we're trading today at about eighteen and
- 32:38Speaker 1: down forty six, it didn't take as big of a
- 32:41Speaker 1: hit as.
- 32:41Speaker 2: Most of the market.
- 32:42Speaker 1: A lot of all coins were in the seventy eighty
- 32:46Speaker 1: percent retracement during this last little bear push. And again
