Fireworks Fight at Landfall Club | Wilmington News
A fireworks display at the Country Club of Landfall turned chaotic when a 17-year-old juvenile allegedly assaulted a security officer, sparking a felony charge for serious bodily injury. The club, which issued a statement on July 5th acknowledging involvement of guests, staff, and members, confirmed that the victim, veteran security guard Russell James, has served nearly 40 years at the club. Police are still investigating and warn more charges may follow.
