- 1:52Speaker 2: We want to welcome you to the his Hop family.
- 1:55Speaker 2: In this group, we hold each other accountable. We believe
- 1:58Speaker 2: that the narrow path is difficult, and the Bible said
- 2:03Speaker 2: there's a few that will find it, and that is
- 2:05Speaker 2: the path to life. It's more specifically eternal life. These
- 2:10Speaker 2: are the words of Jesus himself, and so we want
- 2:14Speaker 2: to encourage each other to stay on that narrow path. Right.
- 2:17Speaker 2: We want to encourage each other to honor God and
- 2:21Speaker 2: to live a life of obedience. And so sometimes we
- 2:25Speaker 2: get crazy thoughts in our hearts. It's good to be
- 2:28Speaker 2: able to have someone to correct us, right, someone to
- 2:32Speaker 2: bring us before the word of God and says, you
- 2:35Speaker 2: know what, you need to renew your mind. Not somebody
- 2:38Speaker 2: that's going to judge us or condemn us, but someone
- 2:40Speaker 2: who's gonna lovingly keep us on the path. Amen. So
- 2:45Speaker 2: that's what we do, and that's who we are here
- 2:48Speaker 2: on the his Hop Radio podcast, and when you download
- 2:52Speaker 2: the app, that's what you get. We want to help
- 2:55Speaker 2: you spiritually. We want to help you grow in your
- 2:58Speaker 2: walk with God, and the only way we can do
- 3:00Speaker 2: that is through the words. So today we're gonna be
- 3:04Speaker 2: in chapter eleven, starting in verse eleven, and I'm coming
- 3:08Speaker 2: at you from the new King James, so you can
- 3:13Speaker 2: get your bibles, you know, pass the highlighters and follow along.
- 3:17Speaker 2: Now let's pray, I mean, Father, we thank you, Father God,
- 3:21Speaker 2: for another great opportunity, Father God, to get closer to
- 3:26Speaker 2: you and to know you, Oh God. And no matter
- 3:29Speaker 2: the fire that we're going through right now, help us,
- 3:31Speaker 2: O Lord, to lean on you, Oh God. We need
- 3:34Speaker 2: you for our strength. God, we need you for courage,
- 3:36Speaker 2: Oh God. Let us not, Oh God, Oh Lord, grow
- 3:40Speaker 2: weak in our faith, Oh God, But let us, Father God,
- 3:42Speaker 2: continue Lord, to be more than conquerors through Christ who
- 3:46Speaker 2: strengthens us. So God, we thank you. We ask for
- 3:49Speaker 2: your blessing in Jesus' name. Amen. All right, Well, and Jeremiah,
- 3:58Speaker 2: this is you know. Jeremiah's considered the weeping prophet because
- 4:04Speaker 2: he did not have one convert. His ministry was to
- 4:07Speaker 2: warn the nation of Judah. And Judah was considered to
- 4:13Speaker 2: be a treacherous sister because Judah sat and watched in
- 4:18Speaker 2: the Northern Kingdom, the Israelite kingdom, because they were divided
- 4:23Speaker 2: into So you had Israel, then you had Judah. So
- 4:27Speaker 2: they saw Judah get destroyed because of their rebellion, their idolatry,
- 4:33Speaker 2: and them turning their backs on the Lord. And they
- 4:37Speaker 2: follow and do the same thing. Now, they had more
- 4:40Speaker 2: of a righteous appearance because they were more religious, but
- 4:45Speaker 2: they did not have a transformed heart. And so we're
- 4:49Speaker 2: gonna see Guy's attitude and how God deals with that,
- 4:53Speaker 2: how he dealt with them. We need to learn so
- 4:56Speaker 2: that we don't repeat these mistakes, ay Man, So let's
- 4:59Speaker 2: pick up in verse eleven. Therefore, thus says the Lord, behold,
- 5:06Speaker 2: I will surely bring calamity on them, which they shall
- 5:12Speaker 2: not be able to escape. Now that is a frightening
- 5:19Speaker 2: thing when you're in a situation and you see no
- 5:24Speaker 2: way out. I know me, when I see a situation
- 5:29Speaker 2: coming up, the first thing I do is try to
- 5:31Speaker 2: find a solution, trying to find a way to maneuver
- 5:36Speaker 2: out of it, trying to find a way to avoid it.
- 5:40Speaker 2: When the Bible says that a wise person will foresee
- 5:43Speaker 2: evil and avoid it, and a foolish will walk right
- 5:46Speaker 2: into it. Right, but there is no remedy for this,
- 5:50Speaker 2: because they have gone so far and their idolatry against God,
- 5:56Speaker 2: they were not going to escape this judgment, and it says,
- 6:01Speaker 2: and though they cry out to me, I will not
- 6:04Speaker 2: listen to them. Now that is even worse. Now, if
- 6:08Speaker 2: you read the Book of Judges, you will see a
- 6:11Speaker 2: pattern there. You will see that the nation of Israel
- 6:14Speaker 2: will turn away from God. God would punish them, They
- 6:17Speaker 2: would be judged and conquered by other nations. And then
- 6:21Speaker 2: they cry out to God and God would rescue them.
- 6:25Speaker 2: It was a pattern over and over again. But this
- 6:29Speaker 2: time there is no rescue. And all I can do
- 6:32Speaker 2: is think of the people who are in hell right now,
- 6:37Speaker 2: the people who went to hell because of unforgiveness, whatever
- 6:41Speaker 2: it may be, being unloving, and they're crying out. They
- 6:47Speaker 2: want to be forgiven. They want forgiveness, they want another chance.
- 6:51Speaker 2: They're crying out to God as we speak, and God
- 6:55Speaker 2: will never answer their cry because it's too late. Now
- 7:01Speaker 2: is the time to hear God's voice, to hear his
- 7:05Speaker 2: warnings and to change our lives. We don't want to
- 7:08Speaker 2: find ourselves in a place crying out to God and
- 7:12Speaker 2: God will not listen. People don't understand this side about God.
- 7:17Speaker 2: They don't understand. They think that God is obligated or
- 7:21Speaker 2: owes them something. No, you can get to a point
- 7:24Speaker 2: where even when you pray and cry out, he will
- 7:28Speaker 2: not even listen to your cry. If we go so
- 7:33Speaker 2: far as to ignore his warnings Amen, verse twelve. Then
- 7:39Speaker 2: the cities of Judah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem will
- 7:43Speaker 2: go and cry out to gods to whom they offer incense.
- 7:48Speaker 2: Now here's the thing right here, Now we know that
- 7:51Speaker 2: God is a jealous god. He is a husband. Right,
- 7:55Speaker 2: this is a marriage. Now I believe in and pray
- 8:00Speaker 2: and get your own revelation on this. I believe that
- 8:03Speaker 2: He refused to hear their cry because he knew that
- 8:07Speaker 2: they were unfaithful. Like, oh, they're going to cry in
- 8:10Speaker 2: any guy to get them out of this situation. They're
- 8:13Speaker 2: gonna They're not crying to me because they know I
- 8:15Speaker 2: have the answer. You know. He looks at them as prostitutes,
- 8:19Speaker 2: right like you are crying anybody to try to help you,
- 8:22Speaker 2: and He's like, go to these other guys and offer
- 8:25Speaker 2: your incense. But here's the thing, it says, but they
- 8:29Speaker 2: will not save them at all in the time of
- 8:33Speaker 2: their trouble. Now, who do you want to serve? Do
- 8:37Speaker 2: you want to serve the God that can save you
- 8:39Speaker 2: in your time of trouble, or do you want to
- 8:42Speaker 2: serve a guy who is not able and capable of
- 8:45Speaker 2: saving you even if they wanted to. Right, And that
- 8:50Speaker 2: is the enemy. A lot of people are serving Satan,
- 8:53Speaker 2: but they just don't realize that they will be deceived.
- 8:57Speaker 2: He will not help them. He doesn't want to help them.
- 9:00Speaker 2: One But even if you wanted to, if it's against
- 9:03Speaker 2: God's will, he is rendered useless. Thirteen. For according to
- 9:10Speaker 2: the numbers of their cities were your gods, oh Judah.
- 9:16Speaker 2: And according to the number of the streets of Jerusalem,
- 9:21Speaker 2: you have sent up altars. Excuse him, you have set
- 9:25Speaker 2: up altars to that shameful thing, alters to burn incense
- 9:33Speaker 2: to ball. So what God is saying is that this
- 9:37Speaker 2: city was overtaken by idolatry. This city was overtaken by
- 9:43Speaker 2: baal worship, and that was a vile thing. If you
- 9:45Speaker 2: do a study on bio worship, that is one of
- 9:48Speaker 2: the gods that our God Jehovah has been battling in
- 9:54Speaker 2: ancient Judah for years. Verse fourteen. So do not pray
- 10:00Speaker 2: for the people. Do not pray for this people or
- 10:04Speaker 2: lift up a cry or prayer for them, for I
- 10:08Speaker 2: will not hear them in the time that they cry
- 10:13Speaker 2: out to me because of their trouble. Now, this is
- 10:18Speaker 2: also a scary part, a scary sight of God. You
- 10:23Speaker 2: don't want to be in a place where God tells
- 10:26Speaker 2: his servants and his people to stop praying for you. You
- 10:31Speaker 2: don't want to get to that place. Amen. Now I
- 10:35Speaker 2: heard his story from my pastor, Pastor Paul Kelker a
- 10:39Speaker 2: fresh wind. He said that he had an uncle that
- 10:42Speaker 2: was a godly man, highly anointed, and he had a church,
- 10:48Speaker 2: and a man came to church and went to the
- 10:52Speaker 2: altar for prayer and then his uncle said, you know what,
- 10:57Speaker 2: I cannot pray for you. The Lord says not to pray.
- 11:00Speaker 2: And this man walked away devastated. Like that would that
- 11:07Speaker 2: would shake me to the core if I went for
- 11:11Speaker 2: prayer and the Lord says, no, do not pray for
- 11:14Speaker 2: that person. We don't know what happened. We don't know
- 11:17Speaker 2: what lines he crossed, but we see it here in scripture.
- 11:21Speaker 2: We read it right. I believe scripture for face value.
- 11:25Speaker 2: He tells the prophet Jeremiah not to pray for the people. Man.
- 11:32Speaker 2: It's like praying for them would be disobedience because they
- 11:36Speaker 2: deserve their judgment. They're gonna get it like the Lord
- 11:39Speaker 2: is serving up wrath, and they're gonna eat it to
- 11:42Speaker 2: the full. Verse thirteen, What has my beloved to do
- 11:49Speaker 2: in my house? Having done luded deeds with many? And
- 11:55Speaker 2: the Holy flesh has passed for them? So what does
- 11:58Speaker 2: that mean? Holy flesh has passed from them? Right? Their purity,
- 12:02Speaker 2: their holiness, their connection and presence of God. When God's
- 12:07Speaker 2: presence dwells in you, it's a preservative, you know what
- 12:11Speaker 2: I mean. God just refreshes us when when you do evil,
- 12:19Speaker 2: then you rejoice. The Lord called your name green olive tree,
- 12:26Speaker 2: lovely and of good fruit. With the noise of great
- 12:31Speaker 2: turmoilt turmoil. He has kindled fire on it, and its
- 12:38Speaker 2: branches are broken. Now, what this is saying right here
- 12:43Speaker 2: is they had a beautiful covenant relationship with God. God
- 12:49Speaker 2: called them a green olive tree, right, and what happened
- 12:56Speaker 2: was their deeds were evil. You see, God doesn't really
- 13:01Speaker 2: care about your religious activity. You can go to church,
- 13:06Speaker 2: you can go through all the motions He wants a
- 13:09Speaker 2: surrendered in a converted heart. If you go to church
- 13:13Speaker 2: and you're still your deeds are still evil. We need
- 13:18Speaker 2: to examine our lifestyle, What do you do? Where do
- 13:23Speaker 2: you a hand? Where does your hands go? As what
- 13:26Speaker 2: I'm trying to say, what are you reaching out for
- 13:30Speaker 2: on a consistent basis? Is it that beer in a refrigerator?
- 13:35Speaker 2: Is it that cigarette? Is it that weed that you're
- 13:38Speaker 2: holding your hands? Or are you holding the Word of God?
- 13:41Speaker 2: Are you holding a child or your wife and children?
- 13:45Speaker 2: Are you embracing families and loved ones? Are you embracing
- 13:49Speaker 2: the homeless in the streets? Are you using your hands?
- 13:53Speaker 2: Is your lifestyle honoring and blessing God? Where do your
- 13:58Speaker 2: feet go? Right? We got to break it down simple
- 14:02Speaker 2: like this, like God is looking at your deeds, your lifestyle,
- 14:07Speaker 2: not just your religious activity. Verse seventeen. For the Lord
- 14:15Speaker 2: of Hosts who planted you has pronounced doom against you
- 14:21Speaker 2: for the evil of the House of Israel and the
- 14:24Speaker 2: House of Judah, which they have done against you themselves
- 14:31Speaker 2: to provoke me. Oh, excuse me, Let me read that again.
- 14:36Speaker 2: For the Lord of Hosts who planted you has pronounced
- 14:41Speaker 2: doom against you. Now that's scary. We don't want the
- 14:48Speaker 2: Lord to pronounce doom on anything, right, especially on our nation.
- 14:53Speaker 2: We need to consistently pray for the United States. A
- 14:58Speaker 2: lot of people don't get this of God because a
- 15:01Speaker 2: lot of people don't study their word, and this word
- 15:04Speaker 2: is not being taught in churches the way it should be.
- 15:08Speaker 2: A man, Now, the Lord has pronounced doom against you
- 15:12Speaker 2: for the evil of the House of Israel. That's the
- 15:16Speaker 2: reason that evil. Right, God cannot allow evil to go on.
- 15:21Speaker 2: Evil has an expiration there now the house of Judah.
- 15:27Speaker 2: Now he puts both together, Israel and Judah, the Northern
- 15:32Speaker 2: Kingdom and the Southern Kingdom. Israel was judged first Judas
- 15:36Speaker 2: should learn, but Judah repeated the mistakes of Israel. And
- 15:42Speaker 2: now Judah is being judged, which they have done against
- 15:46Speaker 2: themselves to provoke me to anger and offering incense to bow.
- 15:55Speaker 2: Now note that they did this against themselves. When you
- 16:00Speaker 2: against God, you are actually harming your own self. It'll
- 16:05Speaker 2: be to your hurt ultimately. Now it breaks God's heart
- 16:09Speaker 2: because he doesn't want to judge us, because he wants
- 16:13Speaker 2: us to We are created in his image. We are
- 16:16Speaker 2: literally his children in his image, but we have been lost,
- 16:23Speaker 2: and so he's trying to bring us back into the family.
- 16:26Speaker 2: It breaks his heart to have to judge us. But
- 16:30Speaker 2: ultimately sin will betray you, and sin will ultimately hurt
- 16:39Speaker 2: you if we are consistently going in that path verse eighteen. Now,
- 16:47Speaker 2: the Lord gave me knowledge of it, that this is
- 16:52Speaker 2: Jeremiah speaking, and I knew it for you showed me
- 16:59Speaker 2: their doom. Now, it's amazing when God gives us revelation.
- 17:04Speaker 2: God will allow us to know when there's danger ahead.
- 17:07Speaker 2: God will allow us to see and understand what people
- 17:10Speaker 2: are applotting against us, and God will help us to
- 17:14Speaker 2: avoid these traps. Right in verse nineteen. But I was
- 17:21Speaker 2: like a docile lamb brought to the slaughter, and I
- 17:26Speaker 2: did not know that they had the viy schemes against me. Now,
- 17:34Speaker 2: how many of us have been in this position? I
- 17:37Speaker 2: have been in this position more than I care to be.
- 17:41Speaker 2: When you go and you minister, you answer the call
- 17:44Speaker 2: of God, and you're out there ministering for the Lord,
- 17:49Speaker 2: doing what the Lord has told you to do. But
- 17:51Speaker 2: then other people get upset, they begin to hate on you,
- 17:55Speaker 2: and they're plotting against you, and you're like a docile lamb, right,
- 17:58Speaker 2: like you didn't know. I'm just trying to love people
- 18:01Speaker 2: and love on you and do God's will. And I
- 18:06Speaker 2: went through this even with opening a Christian club in
- 18:10Speaker 2: Las Vegas, club his hop and I'm thinking people are
- 18:14Speaker 2: loving the Lord. You know, I'm wide open, not knowing
- 18:18Speaker 2: that I allow snakes in the camp, right not everyone
- 18:22Speaker 2: who say that they're for you are truly for you.
- 18:26Speaker 2: And so Jeremiah is trying to save their lives and
- 18:30Speaker 2: save them from judgment. And he's like, they're plotting against me.
- 18:36Speaker 2: And right here it says saying, let us destroy the
- 18:41Speaker 2: tree with its fruit, and let us cut him off
- 18:47Speaker 2: from the land of the living, that his name may
- 18:51Speaker 2: be remembered no more. So. There was a plot against
- 18:56Speaker 2: the life of Jeremiah. If you study the Old Testament prophets,
- 19:00Speaker 2: a lot of them went through a lot to serve
- 19:04Speaker 2: the Lord, to be faithful to the message that God
- 19:08Speaker 2: has given them, to try to rescue and reach people.
- 19:13Speaker 2: And they were thrown in jail. I believe they through Jeremiah.
- 19:18Speaker 2: In jail, there was a prophet that they cut them
- 19:21Speaker 2: in half. I believe it was Isaiah. It tells us
- 19:27Speaker 2: in I think it's Hebrews chapter eleven, the Hall of Faith.
- 19:32Speaker 2: How some were rescued, but some died for their faith
- 19:38Speaker 2: and beloved. I believe that even today We're coming up
- 19:42Speaker 2: on a period of time where persecution against believers is
- 19:47Speaker 2: going to arise. It's going to be an all time high.
- 19:51Speaker 2: It's going to be horrible. If you look at the
- 19:55Speaker 2: Muslim movement in our country or seeing more and more
- 20:01Speaker 2: Muslims becoming mayors of cities right here in the United
- 20:07Speaker 2: States of America. They're trying to invoke Sharia law, and
- 20:12Speaker 2: they're gonna make it against the law to have a Bible.
- 20:15Speaker 2: They're gonna make it against the law to have faith
- 20:17Speaker 2: in Jesus, to preach the word of the Lord. Like
- 20:21Speaker 2: persecution is coming for the saints, And how many are
- 20:24Speaker 2: gonna fall away? How many out there are not ready
- 20:29Speaker 2: or prepared for how many churches are dropping the ball
- 20:33Speaker 2: because the church is supposed to equip the saints for
- 20:36Speaker 2: the ministry and to get the word out right, to
- 20:40Speaker 2: sound the alarm, to let them know what's coming. Right today,
- 20:45Speaker 2: I've already decided I'm dead right. The Bible says that
- 20:48Speaker 2: we are to die daily. And I'm not saying I'm
- 20:51Speaker 2: all this or that and the other. No, it's the
- 20:53Speaker 2: Holy Spirit. I cry out for grace, the Holy Spirit
- 20:56Speaker 2: to where if I have to allay my life down
- 20:58Speaker 2: for the faith that I will be able to do
- 21:01Speaker 2: so and without hesitation, because he's worthy. And also others
- 21:09Speaker 2: are watching, right, others are watching, and so that's where
- 21:17Speaker 2: we see Jeremiah. There's a plot against his life. They
- 21:21Speaker 2: want to take him off of this earth. And so
- 21:25Speaker 2: his response is, but O, Lord of host, you who
- 21:29Speaker 2: judge righteously testing the mind in the heart, let me
- 21:35Speaker 2: see your vengeance on them, for you have revealed for
- 21:42Speaker 2: I'm excuse, excuse me, for I have revealed my cause.
- 21:45Speaker 2: Now Jeremiah responds to it in an awesome, an amazing way.
- 21:50Speaker 2: And let this be an example for us. Amen, even
- 21:55Speaker 2: though we may run into situations and circumstances, we may
- 22:00Speaker 2: have haters that will come out of woodworks. I've been
- 22:05Speaker 2: in situations where God has delivered me time and time again.
- 22:11Speaker 2: I have been in situations where I thought it was
- 22:13Speaker 2: over for me. I thought that okay, I'm cooked. But
- 22:18Speaker 2: I cried out to the Lord, and thankfully he heard
- 22:21Speaker 2: my cry. I'm thankful every time. It is a privilege
- 22:24Speaker 2: to get answered prayer. Let us not just take that
- 22:29Speaker 2: for granted because we just read that they will cry
- 22:33Speaker 2: to the Lord and He's not gonna listen to them.
- 22:37Speaker 2: So we're in a time where God will listen to
- 22:39Speaker 2: our prayer. So I hope that will encourage us to
- 22:43Speaker 2: go even deeper in our prayer life with him. Amen,
- 22:46Speaker 2: there are devotions with him. But my personal testimony is
- 22:51Speaker 2: I don't know. I feel like David right, David was
- 22:56Speaker 2: persecuted and he was chased by Saul, and David thought
- 23:02Speaker 2: that he was gonna lose his life and I'm gonna
- 23:06Speaker 2: have to last second. The Lord saved him and rescuing him,
- 23:12Speaker 2: and I feel like, man, this is my testimony. I'm
- 23:15Speaker 2: even going through the fire right now. But I'm crying
- 23:19Speaker 2: out to the Lord that he will hear my cause
- 23:24Speaker 2: that he'll react. He notice he's asking for God to
- 23:28Speaker 2: fight for him. He's like, take vengeance on these people.
- 23:31Speaker 2: These people are trying to kill me. They're trying to
- 23:33Speaker 2: take me out, Like, look up on them. Lord, you know,
- 23:37Speaker 2: fight back, and I believe we can do that. David
- 23:41Speaker 2: prayed those prayers. Amen, that all we have to do
- 23:44Speaker 2: is hold our peace and he will fight our battles.

- 26:48Speaker 4: in perfect peace.
- 26:53Speaker 3: You are listening to the light of Las Vegas. This
- 26:57Speaker 3: is the his hop radio show.
- 27:16Speaker 2: Yo Yo, perfect Peace. And I don't know if I'm
- 27:20Speaker 2: gonna pronounce his artist's name correctly. Is tie rais ol
- 27:24Speaker 2: b r a s Yo breat Brasil. I believe that's
- 27:30Speaker 2: his name, that's how you spell it and look him
- 27:31Speaker 2: up like subscribe. Let's support those on the front lines.
- 27:36Speaker 2: And speaking of support, I want to shout out the
- 27:39Speaker 2: live chat. Shout out to my Brother's Own three A.
- 27:42Speaker 2: I appreciate you for checking on me the other day.
- 27:48Speaker 2: You know, there's times when if I don't make it
- 27:51Speaker 2: to the live chat at eleven o'clock, our Brother's Zone
- 27:54Speaker 2: three is there holders down. So if you do have
- 27:57Speaker 2: a question or you need prayer something like I say,
- 28:01Speaker 2: someone from the team will be there waiting to minister
- 28:05Speaker 2: and to bless people. And I was just caught up
- 28:09Speaker 2: in this situation to where I just couldn't make it,
- 28:12Speaker 2: but my brother reached out to me, So I appreciate you,
- 28:14Speaker 2: bro for holding down the live chat. Much love to
- 28:19Speaker 2: our Brother's Own three and everyone else. We appreciate y'all
- 28:26Speaker 2: for logging in. We have a lot of listeners out there,
- 28:29Speaker 2: but we really want y'all to log into live chat
- 28:32Speaker 2: and come and say what's up to the crew. Let's
- 28:35Speaker 2: build our online community. Speaking of that, it's time for
- 28:42Speaker 2: the accountability partner. That's one of the main reasons why
- 28:46Speaker 2: we log into the live chat so we can have fellowship.
- 28:49Speaker 2: We want to minister and help and bless people. And
- 28:55Speaker 2: so here's a challenge for this week. Take a close
- 28:58Speaker 2: look at your walk with Christ. Right, is there any
- 29:02Speaker 2: area where you're relying on religious rituals instead of genuine obedience.
- 29:11Speaker 2: We just need genuine obedience. We need to pray for
- 29:14Speaker 2: this and ask God for this. Now, Jeremiah reminds us
- 29:18Speaker 2: that God desires repentance over ritual and man, he wants
- 29:25Speaker 2: a transformed heart. Now here's some action steps too. Reach
- 29:29Speaker 2: out to your accountability partner this week and ask each
- 29:33Speaker 2: other these three questions. Have you spent time with God
- 29:38Speaker 2: every day this week? Is there any sin you've been
- 29:42Speaker 2: hiding or ignoring? And how can I pray for you
- 29:47Speaker 2: this week? And man, that these could be some tough questions.
- 29:51Speaker 2: Only way this will be effective as if we have
- 29:56Speaker 2: integrity and make sure we get with people that we trust,
- 30:00Speaker 2: people who have the heart of God, people that are
- 30:02Speaker 2: not gonna gossip and put our business out there, you
- 30:04Speaker 2: know what I mean? So there are some qualifications to this. Hey, man,
- 30:15Speaker 2: that being said, let us go to our next segment.
- 30:28Speaker 2: What is my next segment? Oh? His hot radio? I
- 30:31Speaker 2: had a pause for a second We want to let
- 30:34Speaker 2: you know that his Hot Radio is a monitor and
- 30:36Speaker 2: in a reporting radio station. We don't just play music
- 30:40Speaker 2: over the airways. We monitor, we report, and we do
- 30:46Speaker 2: have charts that we report to. If you want to
- 30:50Speaker 2: become number one, I mean his high radio chart, just

- 31:16Speaker 2: and now it's time for a Bible trivia once again.
- 31:22Speaker 2: Shout out to our brother's own three. He is the
- 31:25Speaker 2: reigning trivia champ man. You're encouraging, bro, thank you for
- 31:28Speaker 2: showing up. We're gonna build this thing up. We're gonna
- 31:32Speaker 2: get you some competition. I'm speaking it. I'm speaking it.
- 31:35Speaker 2: We're gonna be you know, it's okay to have a
- 31:39Speaker 2: little friendly competition, you know, have some fun serving God.
- 31:45Speaker 2: So the first one gets bragging rights for today if
- 31:48Speaker 2: you get the answer right. So the question is what
- 31:51Speaker 2: type of tree did God compare ju to two in
- 31:55Speaker 2: Jeremiah eleven? What type of tree? And here I'll give
- 32:01Speaker 2: you some of the options. There's cedar tree, fig tree,
- 32:05Speaker 2: green olive tree, or palm tree. So what type of
- 32:09Speaker 2: tree where they compare to? In this chapter? All right,
- 32:21Speaker 2: but love, it is time for our community shoutouts. This
- 32:24Speaker 2: is where we give you updates of our activities, what

- 32:53Speaker 2: the children. Is real fun. I get to DJ and
- 32:57Speaker 2: provide the music for the event and helped them out.

- 33:33Speaker 2: a little bit about the players and the stuff they
- 33:36Speaker 2: go through. We need to keep our players in prayer
- 33:40Speaker 2: as well. And I told him, he says, Man, it's
- 33:43Speaker 2: like in the news, you hear all these negative things
- 33:45Speaker 2: about the players and you know, getting into shootouts and
- 33:49Speaker 2: bar fights and stuff like that. But you know, hear
- 33:52Speaker 2: about the NBA players getting Bible study, going to Bible study,
- 33:57Speaker 2: getting prayer prayed for and send up Prairie Request and
- 34:02Speaker 2: things like that, you know what I mean. And our
- 34:04Speaker 2: brother Allan Houston, we're gonna get him on the podcast.
- 34:07Speaker 2: He's on fire for the Lord. He's a retired NBA

- 36:03Speaker 2: as we're close to the study in Jeremiah eleven one
- 36:06Speaker 2: through eleven, remember this God isn't looking for perfect people,
- 36:12Speaker 2: He's looking for repentant hearts. Judah had the temple, they
- 36:17Speaker 2: had sacrifices and traditions, but they had drifted away from
- 36:23Speaker 2: a genuine relationship with God. That is the warning for
- 36:28Speaker 2: us all. Don't let your faith become routine. Don't let
- 36:33Speaker 2: church attendance replace a daily walk with Christ. God desires
- 36:40Speaker 2: obedience over empty religion, and he still lovingly calls his
- 36:45Speaker 2: people back to himself. Right. Remember I said, while he
- 36:51Speaker 2: is listening, and we need to be calling out to
- 36:53Speaker 2: him a man. So let Jeremiah. I mean that, Jeremiah.
- 37:00Speaker 2: You may face rejection if you're standing on God's truth.
- 37:05Speaker 2: You may even be criticized by people you love. But
- 37:11Speaker 2: don't be discouraged. Guy sees your faithfulness, he knows your heart,
- 37:17Speaker 2: and he will always be your defender. Amen. I'm a
- 37:22Speaker 2: living witness of that. Now this week, spend time in
- 37:26Speaker 2: Guy's word, examine your heart and asking him to reveal
- 37:29Speaker 2: anything that needs to be changed. His discipline is meant
- 37:34Speaker 2: to draw us closer, not push us away. Now, thank
- 37:39Speaker 2: you for listening to the His Hot Radio podcast. This
- 37:42Speaker 2: episode encouraged you. Please subscribe, leave a review, share it
- 37:47Speaker 2: with someone who needs to hear God's word together or
- 37:51Speaker 2: changing the culture by changing hearts Jesus Christ. Amen, let's pray.
- 38:00Speaker 2: Heavenly Father, We thank you for your word and for
- 38:05Speaker 2: your powerful message you gave us through the prophet Jeremiah.
- 38:08Speaker 2: Thank you for loving us enough to correct us when
- 38:12Speaker 2: we wander. Lord, search our hearts today. Remove anything that
- 38:17Speaker 2: keeps us from walking closely with you. Lord, Help us
- 38:20Speaker 2: to be people who don't just know your word, but
- 38:24Speaker 2: live it every day, and give us the courage to
- 38:29Speaker 2: stand for truth even when it's unpopular. Strengthen those who
- 38:35Speaker 2: are facing opposition because of their faith and remind them
- 38:40Speaker 2: that you are their refuge and defender. And we pray
- 38:48Speaker 2: that our lives would produce the fruit that you desire,
- 38:52Speaker 2: not empty religion, but genuine obedience, humility, and a love
- 38:58Speaker 2: for you. We have sore that you will Bless every listener,
- 39:03Speaker 2: Bless every family, every represented family, everyone tuning in around
- 39:10Speaker 2: the world. Draws closer to Jesus, and help us shine
- 39:15Speaker 2: his light everywhere we go. We ask all these things
- 39:21Speaker 2: in the mighty name of Jesus and Man. And remember
- 39:25Speaker 2: it's not about us, It's all about the Christ and us.
- 39:28Speaker 3: Amen, you are listening to the light of Las Vegas.
- 39:43Speaker 3: This is the Hiss Hop Radio Show.
