- 0:10Speaker 1: Oh it's.
- 0:12Speaker 2: Hell no, no, no, no, and no. Welcome to the
- 0:15Speaker 2: naughty but Nice Show. I'm your host, rap Shooter. It's Monday,
- 0:19Speaker 2: which means our dear friend Handsome Garrett Vogel, jos he Answome.
- 0:24Speaker 3: Bobby hellour. I feel even though I did not go,
- 0:30Speaker 3: I feel like I was at Coachello this weekend just
- 0:33Speaker 3: from being tired and I feel dirty, so I listen
- 0:37Speaker 3: to music. It probably had a few drinks, so it
- 0:40Speaker 3: was like I was at Coachello, but I wasn't. But
- 0:42Speaker 3: I looked at it all on my Instagram feed.
- 0:45Speaker 2: Oh yeah, it's I don't know if that's the best
- 0:47Speaker 2: way to start the week tired and dirty. But if
- 0:50Speaker 2: you're full of music and memories that didn't actually happen,
- 0:54Speaker 2: but nevertheless, talk to your therapist about that. Not me,
- 0:56Speaker 2: but if you're full of those happy memories. Sometimes I
- 0:58Speaker 2: get that I have to get away from my Instagram
- 1:01Speaker 2: because I can scroll and scroll and scroll and get
- 1:04Speaker 2: more jealous and more jealous and more jealous, and I
- 1:06Speaker 2: have to remind myself that this is an edited version
- 1:09Speaker 2: of people's lives. It's not the reality. They only put
- 1:12Speaker 2: the highlights of.
- 1:13Speaker 1: Get out of here.
- 1:14Speaker 2: What but you forget that when you sit there scrolling
- 1:17Speaker 2: and scrolling and scroll.
- 1:18Speaker 1: I stop now.
- 1:19Speaker 2: I give myself maybe ten minutes of scrolling, and then
- 1:22Speaker 2: I find myself more miserable than when I started.
- 1:25Speaker 1: So I stopped.
- 1:25Speaker 3: Yes, no, and I put that filter on Instagram because
- 1:28Speaker 3: you can put You know, hey, they tell you pretty much, Hey,
- 1:30Speaker 3: why don't you step away from us for a little while?
- 1:32Speaker 3: White not but I mean Will Smith was on stage
- 1:35Speaker 3: with j Belvin and the Men in Black.
- 1:38Speaker 2: Miss that Taylor Swift was there getting hugs in the crowd.
- 1:43Speaker 2: You can't miss that.
- 1:44Speaker 1: I get it, I get it. I get it.
- 1:45Speaker 2: Okay, let's jump into at show and hopefully give you
- 1:48Speaker 2: all a good smile. You're gonna feel better after listening
- 1:51Speaker 2: to this. What time is it?
- 1:53Speaker 1: My friends? It is tea time.
- 1:55Speaker 2: Big story. At the top of the show, O J.
- 1:57Speaker 2: Simpsons lawyers and executors of his state are saying that
- 2:01Speaker 2: they're going to fight to prevent any money going to
- 2:04Speaker 2: the gold Man family. So the Goldman family was awarded
- 2:08Speaker 2: thirty three point five million in a civil suit, but
- 2:12Speaker 2: OJ has not paid any of that. I don't think
- 2:15Speaker 2: it's bloomed up with interest to about one hundred million dollars. Now,
- 2:20Speaker 2: OJ's lawyer and executor of his estate. His name is Malcolm.
- 2:25Speaker 2: He is saying he's doing interviews where he's saying, my
- 2:28Speaker 2: hope is that the Goldmans get zero, nothing, he said,
- 2:33Speaker 2: and I want to do everything in my capacity as
- 2:37Speaker 2: the executor or personal representative to try and ensure that
- 2:42Speaker 2: they get nothing.
- 2:44Speaker 1: Oh that feels hard.
- 2:46Speaker 3: So jerdy. And you know what, I think you might
- 2:47Speaker 3: have seen the story over the weekend too that OJ
- 2:50Speaker 3: sneakily over the last you know, dozen years, Anything that
- 2:54Speaker 3: he did to make money, it was an all cash offer,
- 2:57Speaker 3: so nothing is technically on the book, so you can't
- 3:01Speaker 3: argue like, well he did this appearance, it was all
- 3:05Speaker 3: done in cash, like almost like a sleazy mafia movie
- 3:09Speaker 3: type storyline of like nothing exists on paper.
- 3:13Speaker 2: He made no money, which implies that he did it deliberately.
- 3:18Speaker 2: He knew what he was doing. He was scamming the system.
- 3:21Speaker 2: He had this huge, huge financial settlement waged against him,
- 3:26Speaker 2: and he said, no, I'm just not going to pay.
- 3:28Speaker 2: It makes me so mad. I don't want to get
- 3:31Speaker 2: political on this show, but we've seen recently some big
- 3:34Speaker 2: political payouts, and I don't think the victims here will
- 3:39Speaker 2: ever see a penny just because you hear somebody gets
- 3:42Speaker 2: twenty million dollars or fifty million dollars nine times out
- 3:45Speaker 2: of ten. I'm told by my legal friends that you
- 3:48Speaker 2: never see any money. All you get are the press
- 3:51Speaker 2: releases and you get your name in the headlines and
- 3:53Speaker 2: you're vindicated because somebody now owes you all these millions.
- 3:57Speaker 2: But the chance of you getting them it's not good.
- 4:00Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 4:00Speaker 3: No, the court of public opinion, you're either filthy rich
- 4:03Speaker 3: or super broke after a lawsuit like that, you know,
- 4:07Speaker 3: but the reality, like you said, it doesn't really happen.
- 4:09Speaker 3: You might get a sliver of something like that, or
- 4:13Speaker 3: you know, they set up, you know, an installment plan
- 4:16Speaker 3: for about you know, one hundred thousand years where you
- 4:19Speaker 3: get you know, fifty bucks a month or something like that,
- 4:21Speaker 3: but you don't get that. You'll never see one hundred
- 4:23Speaker 3: percent of that money ever because they'll get tied up
- 4:25Speaker 3: in court always.
- 4:26Speaker 2: It makes me sad.
- 4:28Speaker 1: Maybe I'm being naive here.
- 4:30Speaker 2: I have some girlfriends who have had child support from
- 4:35Speaker 2: their exes and the ex just stopped paying and they
- 4:39Speaker 2: could didn't think about it. My sister when she got
- 4:42Speaker 2: her divorce. There was meant to be some sort of
- 4:44Speaker 2: child's payment and he just stopped paying after a couple
- 4:48Speaker 2: of months, and so for eighteen years, Christine paid all
- 4:51Speaker 2: those bills herself.
- 4:53Speaker 3: You hate to hear that. But on the other side
- 4:56Speaker 3: of it, where this OJ story is, I mean, I
- 5:00Speaker 3: see the Goldman family maybe just going after the book
- 5:02Speaker 3: publisher that the book is at, because that's where you
- 5:06Speaker 3: got to just find them. It's weird to say find
- 5:09Speaker 3: the money trail, but anything that is, that's what it
- 5:11Speaker 3: is associated with him, that his estate is making money.
- 5:14Speaker 3: That's where that's where you go after it.
- 5:16Speaker 1: At the end of the day.
- 5:17Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, I mean I think what's really difficult here
- 5:20Speaker 2: is what you said. That report is by Ollie Coleman,
- 5:23Speaker 2: a friend of mine. Hey, Olli hello, e La hello.
- 5:25Speaker 2: Listens to the podcast. He's a brilliant reporter and it
- 5:28Speaker 2: was so eye opening. He said that OJ would basically
- 5:31Speaker 2: sign anything if you gave him cash. If you gave
- 5:34Speaker 2: him one hundred dollars, two hundred dollars, he would sign anything.
- 5:37Speaker 2: It didn't have to be football related. He'd sign a
- 5:40Speaker 2: baseball bat if you wanted to give him money. And said,
- 5:43Speaker 2: that's really hard to trace, but there's got to be
- 5:46Speaker 2: a way. It's twenty twenty four. If we can put
- 5:50Speaker 2: a man on the moon, and if we can now
- 5:52Speaker 2: talk about maybe flying cars one day, there has to
- 5:55Speaker 2: be a way to trace this snow.
- 5:58Speaker 1: I'm not being here.
- 5:59Speaker 3: There's something. But just like the storyline of this OJ's
- 6:02Speaker 3: life in general, I believe the guy or maybe one
- 6:05Speaker 3: of the members of his estate who has said they're
- 6:08Speaker 3: not getting an ounce of money. Oh J robbed him,
- 6:12Speaker 3: you know, you know years ago. Yes, the man that
- 6:15Speaker 3: OJ robbed is now protecting said man that is now
- 6:19Speaker 3: passed away. Life is so freaking weird at times.
- 6:23Speaker 2: Right, right, people that that in a certle I would
- 6:27Speaker 2: hope that the executors who you choose, you pick the
- 6:30Speaker 2: executors of your estate. Pick me, Garrett, you can be
- 6:33Speaker 2: my executor, because I want somebody really decent in charge,
- 6:37Speaker 2: because when I go, I don't want to leave this
- 6:40Speaker 2: world in an awful way. I want to leave doing
- 6:43Speaker 2: the right thing. And it felt to me as if
- 6:45Speaker 2: till the very last minute, even if you believe OJ
- 6:48Speaker 2: is innocent, and I don't, but I know some of
- 6:52Speaker 2: the listeners. I know of people people that do. But
- 6:55Speaker 2: even if you believe that this was still a court
- 6:59Speaker 2: ordered and thirty three point five million. You can't accept
- 7:04Speaker 2: one judgment and not the other. You've got to accept
- 7:06Speaker 2: both of them. So I accept he was found not guilty,
- 7:09Speaker 2: but I also accept in a civil court he was
- 7:11Speaker 2: found guilty and had to pay up and he didn't,
- 7:14Speaker 2: which brings us to our pole question of the day.
- 7:16Speaker 2: I can't wait to hear what you think about this?
- 7:19Speaker 2: Naughty is pole question of the day. Ojay's estate is
- 7:23Speaker 2: saying that the Goldmans will get zero nothing. Our question
- 7:29Speaker 2: is should the family fight? If you were the Goldman's,
- 7:33Speaker 2: would you fight or is this just another battler you
- 7:38Speaker 2: picking the scab off the wound one more time. You're
- 7:41Speaker 2: probably never gonna see this money, but would you fight?
- 7:45Speaker 1: Hey?
- 7:45Speaker 2: Go vote on our Twitter paycheck Naughty Knights rob Our
- 7:48Speaker 2: facebook page is Naughty Gossip and be sure to check
- 7:52Speaker 2: back tomorrow to hear your results.
- 7:55Speaker 1: Hey, Garrett Love, what are you?
- 7:57Speaker 3: Let's talk about love?
- 7:58Speaker 1: Or like? Thereof of course?
- 8:00Speaker 3: In Black Bachelor, remember them? I mean the first I
- 8:03Speaker 3: loved their old I love people falling in love. They
- 8:06Speaker 3: pretty much just redid the you know, they took a
- 8:08Speaker 3: different spin on the Bachelor, but with all grandmas and
- 8:11Speaker 3: grandpa's out there. Uh so Jerry and Teresa they're not
- 8:16Speaker 3: They're not going to make it. They're they're getting a
- 8:18Speaker 3: divorce after what three months of of engagement slash marriage. Yeah,
- 8:24Speaker 3: you know, Jerry wanted uh he wanted out of the
- 8:26Speaker 3: marriage right away, and Teresa not so much. And the
- 8:30Speaker 3: interesting thing was, you know the story that we're getting
- 8:34Speaker 3: you know, uh force fed is distance. You know, like
- 8:38Speaker 3: she's in Jersey, he's in South Carolina. They both have
- 8:41Speaker 3: grandkids and family and you know, normally when we talk
- 8:45Speaker 3: about The Bachelor and Bachelor right we're like, oh, whatever,
- 8:47Speaker 3: you know, they'll just end up on another reality show.
- 8:50Speaker 3: But you know, the age that these two are at,
- 8:52Speaker 3: you kind of like you want them together, you know
- 8:54Speaker 3: what I mean, Like.
- 8:55Speaker 2: Yeah, I wanted them to I wanted them together. I
- 8:58Speaker 2: feel like it must have been tricked by them because
- 9:00Speaker 2: not only did they get together on the show, they
- 9:02Speaker 2: had a televised wedding. Yes, Like at some point, wouldn't
- 9:06Speaker 2: you say to ABC, oh, maybe we should put that
- 9:08Speaker 2: wedding on hold just a little bit while we figured
- 9:11Speaker 2: this out. All they didn't they do that. I'm told
- 9:14Speaker 2: that they both were just so into the fame of this,
- 9:17Speaker 2: and I get it. I'm not putting that down any
- 9:19Speaker 2: person I think would be Suddenly this guy Jerry, who
- 9:22Speaker 2: nobody knew, is on the cover of magazines. He's getting
- 9:27Speaker 2: offers to go on Good Morning America and television shows,
- 9:30Speaker 2: and I think he really enjoyed it, only feared what
- 9:33Speaker 2: my sources are saying that if he didn't get married,
- 9:36Speaker 2: that would all just dribble away. But the problem is,
- 9:39Speaker 2: it's not about getting married. It's about the next day
- 9:42Speaker 2: and the next day. You don't have to be on
- 9:43Speaker 2: TV to do that. If you don't want to see
- 9:45Speaker 2: me a week after our wedding, then we probably shouldn't
- 9:47Speaker 2: get that.
- 9:48Speaker 3: That's the part too, where I think people realize after
- 9:51Speaker 3: the fact that once the glitz and the glamor of
- 9:53Speaker 3: the beautiful, glorious wedding happens, you know, that's where reality
- 9:57Speaker 3: comes into play, and more so on these shows where
- 10:01Speaker 3: where cameras that that's Jerry emailing me. Now where cameras
- 10:06Speaker 3: are gone and it's just you and them, and you're like, wow,
- 10:10Speaker 3: we don't have to we don't have to whisper or
- 10:13Speaker 3: we don't have to play it the camera. This is weird,
- 10:16Speaker 3: you know, Like I think if the camera stayed with
- 10:18Speaker 3: them twenty four to seven, we might still have a marriage,
- 10:20Speaker 3: even though it might be for you. But here's the thing,
- 10:23Speaker 3: hear me out, ABC, I'm talking to you right now.
- 10:26Speaker 3: If you're working for ABC or near the production of
- 10:28Speaker 3: The Golden Bachelor, how dare you if you give us
- 10:31Speaker 3: Jerry for round two of He Needs to Find Love?
- 10:35Speaker 3: If you give that to us, I don't know what
- 10:37Speaker 3: to do. You know when a friend gets married for
- 10:38Speaker 3: the second time and you're like, I want my money back, Like,
- 10:41Speaker 3: how do I get.
- 10:42Speaker 1: My money money from ABC?
- 10:43Speaker 2: I want hours back I spent. I was watching these
- 10:46Speaker 2: two forward enough, I watched the wedding. I was so
- 10:49Speaker 2: into these I actually bumped into them at an event
- 10:51Speaker 2: in New York, where, once again I was a little suspicious.
- 10:54Speaker 2: Have how much he was enjoying being a celebrity. I
- 10:56Speaker 2: think they all and he seemed to be talking to
- 10:59Speaker 2: me more than he was Teresa, So I think he
- 11:02Speaker 2: enjoyed the press.
- 11:05Speaker 1: Well, fig you very much, thank you very much.
- 11:07Speaker 2: But it just it makes me mad. I'm told ABC
- 11:09Speaker 2: is mad too, So don't worry, Garrett, they ll not
- 11:11Speaker 2: not only will he not be the Bachelor again, I
- 11:14Speaker 2: think they're going to kind of move on. You know
- 11:16Speaker 2: how sometimes they pretend that season didn't happen.
- 11:19Speaker 1: They just want to keep Yeah.
- 11:21Speaker 3: I think artist makes that won so many and they
- 11:24Speaker 3: make like a fulk album and you're like, what.
- 11:26Speaker 1: That's all right, We're going to see his picture removed
- 11:30Speaker 1: from all the promotional materials. He will be disappeared.
- 11:34Speaker 2: I don't remember in the lobby of ABC, He'll be disappeared.
- 11:38Speaker 2: It's like if you go over to NBC now there
- 11:40Speaker 2: are no.
- 11:40Speaker 1: Pictures of It's right, No, I don't remember you.
- 11:48Speaker 2: Okay, Moving along, Mega Markele had a very awkward request
- 11:52Speaker 2: asking a lady to not pose next to Prince Harry.
- 11:57Speaker 2: So she was captured on video. It's going around on
- 12:00Speaker 2: social media and she politely, let's be clear, how she
- 12:02Speaker 2: politely redirected a woman who was trying to stand next
- 12:06Speaker 2: to Harry to take a picture. They were at a
- 12:08Speaker 2: polo match, which is now their new Netflix thing. So
- 12:11Speaker 2: we're going to see them out at polo games a lot.
- 12:14Speaker 2: I believe they're in Palm Springs spending seven thousand dollars
- 12:17Speaker 2: a night on a fabulous hotels and they're filming this.
- 12:20Speaker 2: It looks like it's going to be a real insight
- 12:22Speaker 2: into the world of polo, which is a very fancy,
- 12:25Speaker 2: rich person sport. However, after the match they were doing
- 12:30Speaker 2: some photographs and who doesn't want a picture with Harry?
- 12:33Speaker 2: So a lady came over and came in for a picture.
- 12:37Speaker 2: It was a professional picture too. It was in front
- 12:39Speaker 2: of a step and repeat. It wasn't a selfie and
- 12:41Speaker 2: Megan gently redirected the lady saying, quote, do you want
- 12:47Speaker 2: to come over here and stand next to me? Basically
- 12:50Speaker 2: and not Harry, And so Meghan was in the middle
- 12:53Speaker 2: of the picture. One side was Harry, one side was
- 12:56Speaker 2: this fan, this lady. But it does look a little
- 13:00Speaker 2: bit old.
- 13:00Speaker 3: But you know what it is credit to Megan Markle
- 13:03Speaker 3: for thinking outside the box, because what would happen? You
- 13:06Speaker 3: would get said photo Like if it was me and
- 13:08Speaker 3: I was standing next to Harry and I just maybe
- 13:12Speaker 3: happened to like him a little bit, I would crop out, Meghan,
- 13:15Speaker 3: you know what I mean, like for for Instagram, So
- 13:18Speaker 3: like when you're posting it online, so your friends go, oh,
- 13:20Speaker 3: you met Harry and looks like you two are dating.
- 13:24Speaker 1: Look Megan's not Rob Shooter Like that's a big star.
- 13:27Speaker 2: Like to crop that, beggar, it's like cropping out stars.
- 13:30Speaker 3: But if you're a hungry, if you're if you're someone
- 13:32Speaker 3: who is hungry for the attention, uh to have a
- 13:35Speaker 3: photo to look like it's just you and Harry even
- 13:38Speaker 3: though his wife is standing right next.
- 13:40Speaker 2: To it, you know you're onto something. You're really onto something.
- 13:44Speaker 2: When I get to events, it's no, it's smart. When
- 13:46Speaker 2: I get to events and I see celebrities, I always
- 13:49Speaker 2: try to be in the middle of the picture so
- 13:50Speaker 2: they can't crop me.
- 13:51Speaker 1: Right.
- 13:51Speaker 2: So if it's two housewives and Rob shoote, I'm out
- 13:54Speaker 2: of the picture. But if it's a housewife, same thing
- 13:56Speaker 2: at work.
- 13:57Speaker 3: So if you ever take a work photo with anyone
- 13:59Speaker 3: group before it was like, oh hey Christmas, let's take
- 14:01Speaker 3: a photo, always be in the middle, because you know
- 14:04Speaker 3: what they God forbid anything more to happen. That photo
- 14:06Speaker 3: also leaves with you, you know what I mean, Like
- 14:08Speaker 3: they can't post it anymore because you're no longer there.
- 14:12Speaker 2: We're awful people, but we're telling the truth. Okay, before
- 14:14Speaker 2: we go to break big birthday news, Siri has toned
- 14:19Speaker 2: Siri Cruise eighty.
- 14:21Speaker 3: Yes, And it's interesting as she is now an adult
- 14:24Speaker 3: and it feels like she's still a kid like I
- 14:26Speaker 3: still Siri Cruise and you think of like a little
- 14:29Speaker 3: like five year old running around. She has turned eighteen,
- 14:32Speaker 3: but just like just like most of her life, she
- 14:35Speaker 3: still remains a strange from dad, Tom Cruise, and Katie
- 14:41Speaker 3: Holmes has even you know, has done the damnedest, hardest,
- 14:45Speaker 3: best job possible to make sure she keeps her daughter
- 14:48Speaker 3: just safeguarded, just from just the craziness of life, the
- 14:51Speaker 3: craziness of you know, being related to a megastar like
- 14:55Speaker 3: Tom Cruise, and just the life of scientology that she
- 14:59Speaker 3: has no affiliation with, of course, and she just wanted
- 15:02Speaker 3: to make sure she was a normal child. And it'll
- 15:05Speaker 3: be interesting to see now that she's eighteen and she
- 15:07Speaker 3: does have some rights as a as an adult, does
- 15:10Speaker 3: she speak out on herself? Does she does she say
- 15:13Speaker 3: anything about her dad that you know, she really doesn't
- 15:16Speaker 3: have a relationship with. I think time will tell, but
- 15:18Speaker 3: I think Katie Holmes has done such a great job
- 15:21Speaker 3: that I don't think we will never hear really anything
- 15:23Speaker 3: about it, just based off of the way Katie is raised, series,
- 15:27Speaker 3: so kind of interesting. Hopefully she has a great eighteenth birthday.
- 15:31Speaker 3: I mean, I don't even remember what I did for
- 15:33Speaker 3: my eighteenth birthday, but what did you do?
- 15:36Speaker 2: I think I went out to the Dome nightclub in Birmingham,
- 15:39Speaker 2: England and dance to Madonna.
- 15:42Speaker 3: I probably danced too, probably not Madonna but something.
- 15:45Speaker 1: Who would you dance to? Eighteen? Who was your POPSA
- 15:47Speaker 1: bon Jovi?
- 15:49Speaker 3: Well no, well that was on the We're talking Britney
- 15:53Speaker 3: Spears and in sync and.
- 15:54Speaker 2: Correctionn me yes, Christina Aguilera go out and dance dance dunce.
- 15:59Speaker 1: So you're right.
- 16:01Speaker 2: We should point out Katie has done an incredible job
- 16:04Speaker 2: raising sery by herself, like Tom has not been around. Okay,
- 16:08Speaker 2: we're going to take a quick break and we promise
- 16:11Speaker 2: we will be around in just a moment. Welcome back
- 16:16Speaker 2: to the Naughty but Nic Show and Rob Shooter with
- 16:18Speaker 2: our dear friend Garrett Vogel.
- 16:19Speaker 1: Hey, Garrett, let's get to the polls. Thank you, darlings.
- 16:23Speaker 2: Last yew, we talked about Chloe Kardashians. Social media has
- 16:26Speaker 2: been inundated with condolences following the death of O. J. Simpson,
- 16:32Speaker 2: So people think maybe that she is still the daughter
- 16:37Speaker 2: of O. J.
- 16:37Speaker 1: Simpson.
- 16:37Speaker 2: Remember all those rumors that Chloe is not really a Kardashian,
- 16:41Speaker 2: that Chris Jenna and the fair with OJ Simpson, She
- 16:44Speaker 2: was friends with him, She was friends with Nicole and
- 16:46Speaker 2: that resulted in her baby. Our question was do you
- 16:49Speaker 2: think people were actually concerned for Chloe or were they
- 16:53Speaker 2: mocking her? It was hard to tell by the comments. Yeah, yeah,
- 16:56Speaker 2: it went, didn't it? And that's exactly what the naughty said.
- 17:00Speaker 2: Let's have a look here at oh sixty percent said mocking.
- 17:02Speaker 2: Though I think more people think mocking than genuinely concerned.
- 17:06Speaker 2: I think I'm probably with you. Don't forget to vote
- 17:09Speaker 2: on today's Paul will get an a Twitter page, a
- 17:11Speaker 2: Norse your Noise rabor our Facebook page which is Nuty Gossip,
- 17:14Speaker 2: and be sure to check back tomorrow to hear your results.
- 17:19Speaker 2: And now I love this. It's time for any of
- 17:23Speaker 2: the day.
- 17:24Speaker 3: Well did you get to see Ryan Gosling hosting snl
- 17:27Speaker 3: over the weekend?
- 17:28Speaker 1: Love? It was?
- 17:30Speaker 3: I had My stomach was hurting, Like you know, when
- 17:32Speaker 3: you laughed so much and you're just you can't catch
- 17:34Speaker 3: your breath and your stomach starts to hurt. It was
- 17:36Speaker 3: I had such a smile on my face watching Ryan
- 17:39Speaker 3: Gosling over the weekend. But the story that I want
- 17:42Speaker 3: to talk about is the fact that he just fits
- 17:44Speaker 3: into anything, for whether it's work life, including when he
- 17:48Speaker 3: first met his wife, Eva Mendez, his family, all according
- 17:52Speaker 3: to her, Eva's brother, Carlo, So Carlo Mendez was saying
- 17:55Speaker 3: that Ryan quickly integrated into the family and embraced the
- 17:59Speaker 3: Latin lifestyle and culture and elements, and you know, Carlo
- 18:03Speaker 3: mentioned that Gosling's fondness from salsa and Spanish and Cuban
- 18:07Speaker 3: aspects of their culture helped, you know, fit in seamlessly,
- 18:10Speaker 3: especially I'm sure with the you know, with the elder
- 18:12Speaker 3: people in the family, mom, dad, uncle's aunts, you know who. Obviously,
- 18:16Speaker 3: you know, we're judging a little bit. But then once
- 18:18Speaker 3: seeing how open and you know, curious that Ryan probably was,
- 18:23Speaker 3: made it like even more welcoming. And Ryan's personality alone
- 18:26Speaker 3: on screen at least, it just seems like he is
- 18:29Speaker 3: the the guy next door that can also make you
- 18:32Speaker 3: laugh and also will open the door for you, you know,
- 18:35Speaker 3: when you're coming out.
- 18:36Speaker 1: So yeah, he's a good guy. It's great.
- 18:38Speaker 2: He's a good, good guy. All the reports I hear
- 18:41Speaker 2: from him is just the best. It's important, isn't it
- 18:44Speaker 2: fitting in to your potential spouse's life, which means their family.
- 18:49Speaker 2: Do you fit in with their routine. Part of the
- 18:51Speaker 2: success of Bruce and I my husband, is we do
- 18:54Speaker 2: fit together. Even though now we look very different to people,
- 18:58Speaker 2: I understand that grew up in a very similar way.
- 19:02Speaker 2: Our families were both working class kids, and we worked
- 19:05Speaker 2: hard and we hustled for our success, and I think
- 19:08Speaker 2: was really handed to either one of us. I know
- 19:10Speaker 2: Bruce's family's story because it's the same as my family
- 19:13Speaker 2: store as different countries, but there's a familiarity there.
- 19:17Speaker 1: How about you and your wife?
- 19:19Speaker 3: No, definitely, Well, so my wife's family is very Italian
- 19:22Speaker 3: and so uh, you know, wanting to fit in as well.
- 19:27Speaker 3: The amount of pasta and salmon, Like, I was never
- 19:31Speaker 3: a fish guy. I never liked sushi whatever, but they
- 19:33Speaker 3: love sushi and they love salmon. My father in law
- 19:36Speaker 3: now would cook salmon almost like twice a week and delicious, yes,
- 19:41Speaker 3: but it is delicious. But when you have salmon for
- 19:43Speaker 3: almost like a year straight, two to three times a week,
- 19:46Speaker 3: you get sick of it. But I couldn't say that,
- 19:48Speaker 3: but Salmon, I have PTSD when he says, hey, you
- 19:53Speaker 3: want to have some?
- 19:55Speaker 1: This is the nicest of the day, Garrete. But ultimately
- 19:58Speaker 1: overall you fitted beautify O. Toad.
- 20:00Speaker 2: Naughty is the day? Naughty, Naughty, naughty. O. J. Simpson's
- 20:03Speaker 2: book If I Did It has skyrocketed to number one.
- 20:07Speaker 2: There is nothing more to say about that, and naughtyous.
- 20:11Speaker 1: That the day.
- 20:11Speaker 2: Let's end with a moment of rub. You're gonna rob you, Robb,
- 20:13Speaker 2: be good room. You don't lose your motivation. What you
- 20:17Speaker 2: lose is focus on why you are fighting for this.
- 20:22Speaker 2: So remind yourself all the time. Why are you doing this?
- 20:26Speaker 2: If you wanna lose some weight? Why are you doing it?
- 20:30Speaker 2: If you want to go back to school? Why are
- 20:32Speaker 2: you doing it?
- 20:34Speaker 1: In life?
- 20:35Speaker 2: If you can figure out the why, the fight gets
- 20:39Speaker 2: a lot easier. Hey, that is it for today. Thank
- 20:43Speaker 2: you so much for listening to the Naughty but Nice
