- 0:00Speaker 1: This is the Ben and Ashley I Almost Famous podcast
- 0:03Speaker 1: with iHeartRadio.
- 0:05Speaker 2: It's time for Bachelor headlines.
- 0:07Speaker 3: Goodness, gracious, Ashley, I think this headlines episode might have
- 0:12Speaker 3: some of the juiciest and most action packed headlines that.
- 0:18Speaker 2: We've ever had.
- 0:20Speaker 4: Well one of them, for sure, I can. I will
- 0:23Speaker 4: agree with you.
- 0:23Speaker 3: On I think in general, just we have a lot
- 0:25Speaker 3: of headlines here that are newsworthy and that our listeners
- 0:29Speaker 3: will be excited.
- 0:30Speaker 2: To hear about.
- 0:31Speaker 4: Okay, let's go for it.
- 0:32Speaker 3: We're gonna start with this one because I just don't
- 0:34Speaker 3: think it's true, but it is a rumor and if
- 0:37Speaker 3: you follow any Bachelor adjacent social media platform or website,
- 0:44Speaker 3: it's gonna be brought up and talked about. And I
- 0:47Speaker 3: want to bring it up here and talk about it
- 0:49Speaker 3: with all of you so you hear our thoughts on
- 0:51Speaker 3: the matter. The headline is this Grant is no longer
- 0:55Speaker 3: the Bachelor. This has been a rumor being spread now
- 0:59Speaker 3: over the last three days. Ashley, what do we know?
- 1:03Speaker 4: Okay? So when I saw this rumor, I texted our
- 1:05Speaker 4: group and I was like, Okay, well we have to
- 1:07Speaker 4: do a breaking news podcast on this. It was like
- 1:11Speaker 4: why and so interesting I thought like, oh, okay, so
- 1:15Speaker 4: maybe something came out about his past and they can't
- 1:18Speaker 4: get over it. That's what the rumor's saying. There's something,
- 1:21Speaker 4: some information has come up to production and they won't
- 1:24Speaker 4: be able to go forward with him because of that.
- 1:28Speaker 4: And I was like, all right, all right, that's not
- 1:30Speaker 4: too far fetched. And then I was also thinking, oh,
- 1:32Speaker 4: or is it because they're obsessed with how much attention
- 1:35Speaker 4: Jonathan's getting and they're just going to move Jonathan to
- 1:37Speaker 4: the lead. They're going to pretend as if like something
- 1:39Speaker 4: came up, but really it's because they wanted a new
- 1:42Speaker 4: lead based on the amount of attention Jonathan's been getting
- 1:46Speaker 4: on social media with all of his appearances with jen
- 1:49Speaker 4: in La because they're really playing though would they are
- 1:53Speaker 4: they or are they not game? And then I woke
- 1:57Speaker 4: up to something this morning and I was like, oh, okay,
- 2:02Speaker 4: now that I like am bummed that it seems to
- 2:04Speaker 4: be totally false, you know that I think it's I
- 2:09Speaker 4: think that Grant seems like lovely, but he's just not
- 2:12Speaker 4: a very exciting choice for Bachelor anyway. Bachelor Data did
- 2:16Speaker 4: a video today about the sourcing of this rumor. The
- 2:20Speaker 4: rumor is like in certain locations that seem like kind
- 2:26Speaker 4: of like legit publications, but then they keep re routing
- 2:30Speaker 4: people to this like they'll highlight it, you know, they'll
- 2:33Speaker 4: link it. Be like this website is reporting, and then
- 2:35Speaker 4: when you go to the crux of the rumor and
- 2:40Speaker 4: the original article or the started it's like the least
- 2:44Speaker 4: reliable source. Ever. It's basically an ad site like this.
- 2:49Speaker 4: This website has nothing but like scammy ads, like scammy
- 2:53Speaker 4: like sex ads and stuff, so it looks like it's
- 2:57Speaker 4: not true. So guys, Grant is still your bad. There
- 3:02Speaker 4: are comments that are interesting underneath some of the rumor posts,
- 3:06Speaker 4: like we have Zachary Reality posting his own you know
- 3:11Speaker 4: TikTok about the rumor, and here are some quotes from
- 3:16Speaker 4: underneath his posts and from Reddit. I have it on
- 3:22Speaker 4: good authority this could be satire. I have it on
- 3:26Speaker 4: good authority that Jesse and the producers are in talks
- 3:29Speaker 4: with Tommy DeVito. You'd be the backup quarterback for the
- 3:32Speaker 4: Giants for his own season. His mom's chicken cut, Let's
- 3:35Speaker 4: deserve a hometown episode. Maybe that's why Grant is on pause. Listen,
- 3:41Speaker 4: this would be a dream. I love this as a
- 3:43Speaker 4: Giants fan and they're just floundering year after year. This
- 3:47Speaker 4: would bring light to my life. I don't think it's true.
- 3:51Speaker 4: Then somebody else said, I'm skeptical when it's Zachary Reality.
- 3:58Speaker 4: He's been writing about a few things. But maybe, yeah,
- 4:02Speaker 4: this doesn't seem right. And that's what Bachelor Data said.
- 4:05Speaker 4: She was like, listen, if it's somebody like Reality Steve,
- 4:09Speaker 4: who's had it right in the past, that would be
- 4:12Speaker 4: there'd be more smoke to this story.
- 4:14Speaker 3: It's always interesting to see these rumors spread. Now, yes,
- 4:18Speaker 3: I don't think it's true. I think it's a spam. However,
- 4:21Speaker 3: the you know those weird magazines that you see at
- 4:25Speaker 3: grocery stores that always have the rumors that seem outrageous
- 4:29Speaker 3: and untrue and no way believable.
- 4:32Speaker 4: Ninety right, you said fifty.
- 4:35Speaker 3: Percent of the time those rumors end up coming true.
- 4:38Speaker 3: Fifty percent they don't. However, I do think that in
- 4:43Speaker 3: this case, where there's smoke, there's fire. I do too,
- 4:48Speaker 3: and I'm not saying I don't think it's at any
- 4:50Speaker 3: level true. However, I would not be shocked, not be
- 4:54Speaker 3: shocked at all, if at least at some point somebody
- 4:57Speaker 3: in the know has had a conversation going, Hey, was
- 5:01Speaker 3: this the best choice or is there another way to
- 5:05Speaker 3: do this? I do think Grant, if they stick with Grant,
- 5:09Speaker 3: will be a great bachelor. He's gotten a lot of love.
- 5:12Speaker 3: I just don't think we know him. So I'm wondering
- 5:15Speaker 3: if the show is going, if if we have the
- 5:18Speaker 3: opportunity to get somebody that the audience would maybe be
- 5:23Speaker 3: more knowledgeable of, is this our time to do it?
- 5:26Speaker 4: Exactly what I was thinking, Like, there might be a
- 5:30Speaker 4: little something out there that is not like the best,
- 5:33Speaker 4: because they want their bachelor to basically be like you Ben,
- 5:37Speaker 4: totally like a pristine background check, and if there's like
- 5:41Speaker 4: a story or two circulating around him, they may think
- 5:43Speaker 4: of it, or at least one person, and that higher
- 5:46Speaker 4: ups might be like, oh, this could be our out.
- 5:49Speaker 2: I still stop sign once he's stole a stuff.
- 5:54Speaker 4: You Also, you know we always talk about how Booby's
- 5:57Speaker 4: and cocaine or whatever.
- 5:58Speaker 3: Yeah, I did find a bunch of cocaine on the
- 6:00Speaker 3: beach ones, but that actually like helps my background.
- 6:02Speaker 4: You were actually like you turned it in.
- 6:04Speaker 2: Yeah. I didn't even try to take advantage of that one.
- 6:07Speaker 4: Hey, way, Ben Ben about Grant for one more second. Okay,
- 6:12Speaker 4: do you want to talk about how you feel his
- 6:15Speaker 4: job is a little interesting because he's a day trader.
- 6:18Speaker 3: He's kind of confronted that, and I think, okay, he
- 6:21Speaker 3: did it on a social media a little while back,
- 6:25Speaker 3: talking through some of his strategies.
- 6:27Speaker 2: He is a day trader.
- 6:29Speaker 4: So like in your opinion, you think it's like kind
- 6:31Speaker 4: of like a professional gambler. It really it's risky.
- 6:34Speaker 3: It's risky and without the right backing, without any type
- 6:39Speaker 3: of middle and back office checking you and making sure
- 6:43Speaker 3: that you're compliant, making sure also maybe he does I
- 6:46Speaker 3: have no clue that he has the capital to you know,
- 6:50Speaker 3: hedge and to trade on margins. It's a really risky business.
- 6:56Speaker 3: His strategies were even like very just they weren't like
- 7:01Speaker 3: a very like.
- 7:02Speaker 4: Financial aiser, like an actual.
- 7:05Speaker 3: Yeah, like he was just kind of you know, trading
- 7:07Speaker 3: some options and showing his options progress.
- 7:10Speaker 4: And isn't that okay if you're just doing it for yourself?
- 7:13Speaker 2: Oh, none of it's. None of it's not okay. Yeah, Like,
- 7:16Speaker 2: none of it's not okay.
- 7:17Speaker 4: It's not like he's dealing with other people's finesses.
- 7:20Speaker 3: Without right Well, he couldn't like he couldn't you have
- 7:23Speaker 3: to have licensing to deal with somebody else's or to
- 7:25Speaker 3: even give any advice. It's not not okay, I'm not
- 7:30Speaker 3: saying that at all. It's just a very risky thing to
- 7:33Speaker 3: say that you're doing for a living. Now, some people
- 7:36Speaker 3: make it, and I'm assuming he is because he he
- 7:39Speaker 3: seems to be a very like, you know, just well
- 7:43Speaker 3: off person right now.
- 7:46Speaker 2: But you don't know.
- 7:47Speaker 3: You don't know until you kind of dig deep. I
- 7:50Speaker 3: will just say I was working in finance for six years.
- 7:53Speaker 3: I never I've never yet met a day trader that
- 8:01Speaker 3: does it for a hobby, that makes a living on it.
- 8:04Speaker 2: It is really hard.
- 8:06Speaker 4: Yeah, I know somebody who makes a very good living
- 8:09Speaker 4: off of it, Well, good for them. But this person
- 8:13Speaker 4: also has like the best luck I've ever seen in
- 8:17Speaker 4: my life.
- 8:18Speaker 3: So it's just innarest thing. I was curious when he
- 8:21Speaker 3: originally announced his job. I was like, I just want
- 8:23Speaker 3: to know more about it. He did confront on Instagram
- 8:25Speaker 3: and I go, Okay, he's doing it. I mean, that's cool.
- 8:27Speaker 2: I got it. He knows what he's doing and I'm.
- 8:30Speaker 3: Happy for him, and I hope it's so it's super successful.
- 8:34Speaker 3: The next headline is another big one this week. Devin
- 8:40Speaker 3: continues just to take a shovel and not even slowly.
- 8:46Speaker 3: He like intentionally digs bigger and bigger and bigger and
- 8:49Speaker 3: bigger holes, and he just kind of likes to bury
- 8:52Speaker 3: himself in him. It feels like his strategy is to
- 8:56Speaker 3: how often can I hit rock bottom? And then how
- 9:00Speaker 3: much farther can I push to make rock Bottom look
- 9:03Speaker 3: a little different than it did before?
- 9:05Speaker 2: And let me just keep doing it until.
- 9:07Speaker 3: Everybody just kind of has low expectations of what's going
- 9:11Speaker 3: to happen and they stop worrying about it.
- 9:13Speaker 2: He's trying to, I don't know, clean his name up.
- 9:17Speaker 2: It just ain't working.
- 9:19Speaker 4: He really doesn't get it, Like he does not get
- 9:21Speaker 4: how to work an audience. Like I'm just I'm thinking
- 9:25Speaker 4: about this from a PR's a PR reps point of
- 9:29Speaker 4: view when I say this, like if he really like
- 9:33Speaker 4: he obviously didn't didn't work out with Jen right, but
- 9:36Speaker 4: there were so many ways that he could have made
- 9:37Speaker 4: it seem so much more pleasant on after the Final
- 9:41Speaker 4: Rose in so many ways, and then this move I
- 9:47Speaker 4: need to know who we talk about Ashley Oh, the
- 9:50Speaker 4: move in which he released a thirteen minute video to
- 9:53Speaker 4: Instagram and TikTok explaining why or giving some addition little
- 10:00Speaker 4: reasoning behind their breakup, including you know, like all like
- 10:03Speaker 4: the texts and call receipts. He was trying to make
- 10:07Speaker 4: it seem like there was so much more that you
- 10:10Speaker 4: guys didn't see after the final rose and I wasn't
- 10:13Speaker 4: as bad to her, you know, in lacking of communication
- 10:17Speaker 4: as she made it seem.
- 10:19Speaker 3: Yeah, within that thirteen minute video he explained himself. He
- 10:23Speaker 3: also revealed some very personal text messages.
- 10:37Speaker 4: The craziest part about the video to me is this
- 10:40Speaker 4: one like slide show in which he basically screenshoted every
- 10:45Speaker 4: single text that they've ever had, and he put them
- 10:49Speaker 4: in like rapid order. It was like half I wouldn't
- 10:53Speaker 4: even say, I don't even know it was okay, maybe
- 10:55Speaker 4: half a second there was a screenshot, and there must
- 10:58Speaker 4: have been like thirty screenshot and they went by really
- 11:02Speaker 4: really fast. There was one text that made it into
- 11:05Speaker 4: a screenshot that was kind of sexual, and so therefore
- 11:09Speaker 4: he thought, oh, that part I need to edit out.
- 11:14Speaker 4: Of course, I mean like yeah, yes, but the humor
- 11:17Speaker 4: in this is that he just thought that that was
- 11:19Speaker 4: the one part he needed to edit and it wasn't
- 11:22Speaker 4: just the whole thirteen second video, so deleted it thirty minutes. Sorry,
- 11:27Speaker 4: he deleted it, and he re uploaded it without that
- 11:30Speaker 4: screenshot in it, but that, you know, but still thought
- 11:34Speaker 4: after releasing the video and getting probably some feedback, enough
- 11:37Speaker 4: feedback for the people watched that screenshot slide show in
- 11:43Speaker 4: detail enough that they caught that, and then he was like, yeah,
- 11:46Speaker 4: I'm gonna upload that video all over again.
- 11:50Speaker 3: There's this level I think now we've spent a few
- 11:53Speaker 3: times in Bachelor Nation where people upload personal conversations text
- 11:59Speaker 3: messages to the.
- 12:00Speaker 4: Public, most notably Blank and Kalin.
- 12:03Speaker 3: Sure, yeah, and I think you know, I see this,
- 12:07Speaker 3: and I understand why they're being I understand why they're
- 12:12Speaker 3: being posted because it does feel like the receipts, it
- 12:16Speaker 3: does feel like your truth. It does feel like it's
- 12:18Speaker 3: what you have to prove that, Hey, the story that
- 12:22Speaker 3: you're hearing isn't maybe the full story. I understand the
- 12:26Speaker 3: urge and the desire to post those. However, I do
- 12:30Speaker 3: believe those are private conversations. I do not think they
- 12:34Speaker 3: should be posted to the public. However, they are used
- 12:38Speaker 3: in the court of law. So if you know for
- 12:41Speaker 3: whatever reason. If we have a scenario where somebody has
- 12:43Speaker 3: to go to trial, typically phone email, all those records
- 12:48Speaker 3: are presented, and so I know why people are doing it.
- 12:52Speaker 3: In this case specifically, it was inappropriate. There was no
- 12:56Speaker 3: reasoning for it, and the text messages didn't prove anything.
- 12:59Speaker 3: In fact, I'm still confused after watching this thirteen minute
- 13:02Speaker 3: video on what Devin is exactly trying to prove. I
- 13:07Speaker 3: don't know what his I think he's trying to prove
- 13:10Speaker 3: that he wasn't as bad as what it seemed on
- 13:12Speaker 3: national television. However, most of the things said during the
- 13:17Speaker 3: final episode were proven to be true based on these
- 13:20Speaker 3: text messages. Yes there was a ghosting, Yes there was
- 13:23Speaker 3: a lack of communication. Yes there was kind of a
- 13:26Speaker 3: giving up. It felt like sentiment from this video all
- 13:31Speaker 3: I want. And really, Devin didn't have to apologize or
- 13:36Speaker 3: come public with any of this, and I know he
- 13:38Speaker 3: wanted to to clear his name and try to get
- 13:40Speaker 3: back in the good graces, even though I think that
- 13:42Speaker 3: was probably impossible at this point. I want when somebody
- 13:47Speaker 3: tries to do this Sidney, for example, Devin here as
- 13:50Speaker 3: of recent I just want authenticity. I don't want you
- 13:54Speaker 3: to throw anybody else under the bus. I don't want
- 13:57Speaker 3: you to try to pit it me versus. Then I
- 14:00Speaker 3: don't want this tongue in cheek. Hey, I'm not trying
- 14:04Speaker 3: to hurt jin here, I'm just trying to get you know,
- 14:07Speaker 3: my words out.
- 14:08Speaker 2: I don't want any of that.
- 14:09Speaker 3: I want the ownership and what and what you had
- 14:12Speaker 3: to do with the failure of this relationship. I also
- 14:15Speaker 3: want the authenticity of saying I am sorry for how
- 14:18Speaker 3: this went down. I could have done better, and then
- 14:21Speaker 3: we all say, hey, I've been there too, I get it.
- 14:25Speaker 2: We move on.
- 14:26Speaker 3: But this new kind of trend of when you get
- 14:33Speaker 3: you know, when something bad happens to you in the
- 14:35Speaker 3: public and your only way out is to blame somebody
- 14:39Speaker 3: else or to try to bring them back into the controversy.
- 14:44Speaker 2: One.
- 14:44Speaker 3: It's not right, it's not healthy, and it typically leads
- 14:48Speaker 3: to really destructive behavior, which this thirteen minute video was.
- 14:53Speaker 3: It did nothing to help him. There is no there,
- 14:55Speaker 3: there's nothing about this. I'm sure there's a fut rolls
- 14:57Speaker 3: on Instagram that are like, I get it, Devin, I'm
- 14:59Speaker 3: on your time. For the most part, this did nothing
- 15:02Speaker 3: to help him. I just think it could have been
- 15:06Speaker 3: done so much better. I'm wondering where ABC's at and
- 15:08Speaker 3: all this. I'm hoping ABC is sitting there saying as
- 15:11Speaker 3: a publicity team saying, hey, Devin, uh, let's sit down
- 15:15Speaker 3: and talk like you want.
- 15:17Speaker 2: To get your story out.
- 15:17Speaker 3: Can't stop you from doing that. However, here's some ways
- 15:20Speaker 3: that we would advise you to do that in a
- 15:22Speaker 3: healthy way to not hurt you Jin or anybody else.
- 15:26Speaker 3: But it seems like he had nobody he was talking
- 15:29Speaker 3: to and it has.
- 15:30Speaker 4: Nothing to do with the show. So I don't even
- 15:32Speaker 4: think he would need to get approval. Obviously, he didn't
- 15:34Speaker 4: need to get approval to pose that because it's all
- 15:36Speaker 4: about what happened in the summer. It's just I I
- 15:39Speaker 4: need to know what was going through his head and
- 15:41Speaker 4: who he showed. Did he show anyone that video beforehand?
- 15:44Speaker 4: Because that had some editing that needed to be done.
- 15:48Speaker 4: That is that is a video that like, I'm sure
- 15:51Speaker 4: he put it together himself, But I also wouldn't have
- 15:54Speaker 4: been surprised if he had like some friends around him
- 15:56Speaker 4: being like, yeah, yeah, this is a good move, like
- 15:58Speaker 4: somebody had to encourage it. I just can't imagine him
- 16:01Speaker 4: in his own power. Yeah, he's like, I'm going to
- 16:04Speaker 4: post this thirteen minute video without telling anybody else.
- 16:07Speaker 3: He needs like a group of advisors now around him,
- 16:10Speaker 3: Like he needs two or three of his close friends
- 16:13Speaker 3: that I hope he has, Yeah, that I hope he has,
- 16:15Speaker 3: being like, Hey, here's what I'm thinking, What do you
- 16:18Speaker 3: guys think of this decision? And for them to not
- 16:21Speaker 3: just think of what Devin wants to hear, but what
- 16:23Speaker 3: he needs to hear, which is, hey, don't do it,
- 16:27Speaker 3: like stay, don't do that, be authentic, be genuine, and
- 16:32Speaker 3: that's about as far as you should go, Like that's it.
- 16:34Speaker 3: Don't try to bring Jim back into it. Don't definitely
- 16:38Speaker 3: don't show private conversations for of the two of you.
- 16:41Speaker 3: That's not going to help anything. That actually is just
- 16:43Speaker 3: like wrong, especially at this point. And just try to
- 16:49Speaker 3: keep moving forward and become a little better man and
- 16:52Speaker 3: learn from this. There's a lot of learning that can
- 16:54Speaker 3: be done from this, but it right now that learning
- 16:58Speaker 3: doesn't seem to be taking place.
- 17:00Speaker 4: Has posting receipts ever worked out in the favor of
- 17:03Speaker 4: the person posting the receipts or people always just think like,
- 17:08Speaker 4: oh that was Cura Quinn. Oh yeah, okay, yeah, yeah,
- 17:17Speaker 4: but no, because he called her bad things in there,
- 17:20Speaker 4: and then he his winning was winning the paternity test.
- 17:24Speaker 4: But I think him posting the receipts and the text
- 17:27Speaker 4: messages never helped. It made him just look She may
- 17:31Speaker 4: have looked pretty pretty crazy, but that was also in
- 17:35Speaker 4: the long run, and we were proven that she well
- 17:38Speaker 4: was crazy because she made up the fact that she
- 17:41Speaker 4: was pregnant. But he didn't look good in those texts
- 17:45Speaker 4: and it had nothing to do with him being proven
- 17:48Speaker 4: innocent at all.
- 17:50Speaker 2: Yeah, I don't know.
- 17:51Speaker 3: I don't have many examples, but I don't also know
- 17:54Speaker 3: many people doing this, so there's only a select few.
- 17:58Speaker 4: Did Blake look better or posting those texts between him
- 18:01Speaker 4: and Kaylin after that paradise?
- 18:04Speaker 3: I don't think it helped him hundred percent. People don't
- 18:08Speaker 3: like it, and it just feels invasive. It is invasive.
- 18:12Speaker 3: I shouldn't be reading what the two of you have
- 18:14Speaker 3: said to each other like I should not be, especially
- 18:18Speaker 3: when it comes.
- 18:19Speaker 4: To a romantic relationship.
- 18:21Speaker 2: Yeah, I should not be.
- 18:22Speaker 3: I should not be reading that like you guys should
- 18:25Speaker 3: keep those between you and you can tell me, hey,
- 18:28Speaker 3: you know, it felt like in our relationship we went
- 18:30Speaker 3: through seasons of excitement, and then we went through really
- 18:32Speaker 3: bad season, and then we went through a season where
- 18:35Speaker 3: I didn't feel like we could talk anymore because our
- 18:36Speaker 3: communication is off. I just don't I don't need to
- 18:39Speaker 3: read your conversation on how you got there. Yeah, half
- 18:43Speaker 3: the time text messages don't make sense to me anyways.
- 18:45Speaker 3: I'm not good at that.
- 18:46Speaker 4: I just will never understand what he was thinking and
- 18:48Speaker 4: doing that.
- 18:50Speaker 2: No, I can't either, but I do.
- 18:52Speaker 4: I do understand the internal frustration that you go through
- 18:56Speaker 4: with like a storyline on TV doesn't come across the
- 19:00Speaker 4: way that you feel like you lived it and that
- 19:03Speaker 4: you like think that you have proof that it was otherwise.
- 19:06Speaker 4: So like the desire to put it out there, I
- 19:08Speaker 4: do understand the desire, but like you need to let
- 19:12Speaker 4: your pr brain just win out in that situation.
- 19:17Speaker 3: Well, I think the pr brain or just there's a
- 19:20Speaker 3: lack of maturity. This is an immature act. This is
- 19:23Speaker 3: something that like him at thirty whatever and a middle
- 19:27Speaker 3: schooler at thirteen are are doing the same thing. Like
- 19:33Speaker 3: this is this is an act that was immature. It
- 19:36Speaker 3: should be you should take two steps up and say,
- 19:39Speaker 3: as an adult, I refuse to do this no matter
- 19:43Speaker 3: what it will look like or no matter what kind
- 19:47Speaker 3: of heat. Right, you and I have both sat in
- 19:49Speaker 3: seasons within this whole show where we're like, you know,
- 19:54Speaker 3: it would be so much better if everybody just knew
- 19:57Speaker 3: the actual truth and we could. You know, you like,
- 20:00Speaker 3: I have the truth, but you have to take a
- 20:02Speaker 3: step back and you have to say no. But this
- 20:04Speaker 3: is like that doesn't matter to me. The winning here
- 20:08Speaker 3: isn't a thing. I just have to move forward and
- 20:12Speaker 3: take a little bit of the heat, get kicked a
- 20:14Speaker 3: little bit, maybe that person gets kicked around a little bit,
- 20:17Speaker 3: but we'll all move forward and it's gonna be okay.
- 20:20Speaker 4: Yeah, and the audience will forget in that moment. It's
- 20:24Speaker 4: just like your whole life.
- 20:25Speaker 3: I think the audience had already forgotten and she brought
- 20:28Speaker 3: it right back up again. I think the audience were like,
- 20:30Speaker 3: I'm just excited to watch Joan and now all of
- 20:32Speaker 3: a sudden, Devn's back in the headlines.
- 20:34Speaker 4: Hey, you know, you probably think differently than me. You
- 20:37Speaker 4: probably think like, no, you go back to your regular
- 20:39Speaker 4: life and you do whatever you were doing. Your job
- 20:42Speaker 4: seem to be working for you. But if I just
- 20:46Speaker 4: think that if you really wanted you just go on paradise, dude,
- 20:50Speaker 4: and then you make sure that you're not done again.
- 20:53Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 20:54Speaker 4: And you know what, people also love to hate a villain,
- 20:58Speaker 4: so like you'll get your working either way.
- 21:02Speaker 3: We love a comeback story on to better stories. We
- 21:17Speaker 3: were with this person this last week. We knew about
- 21:21Speaker 3: this actually before it got announced publicly. I would like
- 21:25Speaker 3: to make a public statement to Katie to say, Hey,
- 21:28Speaker 3: I just want you to recognize that Ashley and myself
- 21:31Speaker 3: both respected your request to keep.
- 21:33Speaker 2: This private.
- 21:35Speaker 3: Even though I wanted to share it so bad because
- 21:36Speaker 3: it is so exciting and we are excited for her
- 21:39Speaker 3: former bachelor at Katie Thurston is engaged to Jeff Arcurry
- 21:43Speaker 3: after less than one year of dating. She explained this
- 21:46Speaker 3: a little bit to us in person. It's just the
- 21:49Speaker 3: right person for her to kind of close out the
- 21:52Speaker 3: headline Ashley. I started following her now fiance on Instagram yesterday.
- 21:58Speaker 4: He has one point five million.
- 22:00Speaker 2: She's hilarious.
- 22:01Speaker 3: Yeah, I will say his His Instagram is hilarious. It
- 22:05Speaker 3: is a good follow his act is awesome, his way
- 22:09Speaker 3: of communicating with the audience is brilliant.
- 22:12Speaker 2: Uh.
- 22:13Speaker 3: I've loved just kind of scrolling through his videos after
- 22:15Speaker 3: the last day. So I'm excited for Katie and Jeff.
- 22:19Speaker 3: She's been on I'll say this, she's been on a
- 22:23Speaker 3: wild dating journey on the show and after the show. Yeah,
- 22:28Speaker 3: and it's cool to see her now coming out, not
- 22:32Speaker 3: coming out of it, but coming through it into a
- 22:35Speaker 3: place where she seems so happy.
- 22:36Speaker 4: It's so crazy, how like, Yeah, it's been eight months,
- 22:39Speaker 4: but I feel like we were just speculating about her
- 22:41Speaker 4: and Blake possibly getting together like yesterday, remember, because they've
- 22:45Speaker 4: been seen at events and stuff. Sure, and they had
- 22:48Speaker 4: that whole Bachelor in Paradise thing last year and then
- 22:50Speaker 4: she had f Boy Island. Look at her dating, her
- 22:53Speaker 4: dating history and just to pass the year.
- 22:56Speaker 2: Wow.
- 22:56Speaker 4: So yeah, she was so cute at Alan's wedding. We were,
- 22:59Speaker 4: you know, in our was like saying they're hello. She's like, Hi,
- 23:01Speaker 4: I'm good, I'm engaged. Like she was showing her finger
- 23:06Speaker 4: to everybody. She's like, it happened a couple of days
- 23:08Speaker 4: ago in Hawaii. It happened on a secret beach in Kawaii, Hawaii,
- 23:13Speaker 4: on August twenty sixth, And they have been having a
- 23:16Speaker 4: long distance relationship, but that will be coming to an
- 23:19Speaker 4: end soon because she's going to be moving to New
- 23:22Speaker 4: York City in early twenty twenty five. And she confirmed
- 23:28Speaker 4: the She confirmed their relationship actually just recently is in May.
- 23:33Speaker 4: But yeah, when you know, you know, and they're so
- 23:37Speaker 4: excited to spend forever together. And this is like kind
- 23:40Speaker 4: of cool because this is one of those stories that
- 23:42Speaker 4: if it weren't for the Bachelorette, who knows if this
- 23:45Speaker 4: would have happened, because she got into comedy to start
- 23:49Speaker 4: doing stand up because of her bachelorette notoriety, and now
- 23:55Speaker 4: she found her her boo through the comedy circuit.
- 23:59Speaker 3: It's really exciting, really happy for Katie and if, yeah,
- 24:03Speaker 3: if you're kind of bored today and you want to
- 24:04Speaker 3: get laugh go follow her fiance on social media. Carly
- 24:09Speaker 3: Wadell opens up about undiagnosed health issues. She finally said this,
- 24:14Speaker 3: I finally have answers.
- 24:17Speaker 4: So she has been dealing with something that's even affecting
- 24:20Speaker 4: her voice. And if you've been following Carly at all
- 24:22Speaker 4: in the past year or so, she's really been focusing
- 24:25Speaker 4: on music. She was opening up for Nick Carter on tour,
- 24:27Speaker 4: which is really cool. But she said she finally went
- 24:30Speaker 4: to the e andt ear nos and throat doctor, after
- 24:33Speaker 4: over twenty years of having episodes where my throat seems
- 24:36Speaker 4: to completely close up for a good thirty seconds. That
- 24:39Speaker 4: is so scary And why did it take you twenty
- 24:41Speaker 4: years to do that, Carly? She said, it used to
- 24:46Speaker 4: happen only a few times a year, but in the
- 24:48Speaker 4: past few years has happened as much as three times
- 24:51Speaker 4: a day. Scary not only for me, but anyone around
- 24:55Speaker 4: me when this happens, because it seems like, because it
- 25:00Speaker 4: looks like I should be doing somebody should be doing
- 25:03Speaker 4: the Heimel like maneuver on me while tears stream down
- 25:06Speaker 4: my face and I am gasping to breathe. She has
- 25:10Speaker 4: spasms in her throat that bring her to like these
- 25:14Speaker 4: undiagnosed asthma, seasonal allergies, and even acid reflux. That's what this.
- 25:20Speaker 4: These spasms are brought on by asthma, allergies and reflux,
- 25:23Speaker 4: and they also happen to women more than men, sometimes
- 25:28Speaker 4: more often with the women that have anxiety because they
- 25:32Speaker 4: tend to be hidden the kidd in a way. So yeah,
- 25:37Speaker 4: that's what she's going through. That's really scary. That's really
- 25:41Speaker 4: really scary.
- 25:42Speaker 2: I didn't know she was opening up for Nick Carter
- 25:43Speaker 2: on tour.
- 25:44Speaker 4: Oh yeah, is that cool?
- 25:46Speaker 2: That is cool? Good for her? Uh the U I
- 25:49Speaker 2: think I saw this week? Ashley. Tell me if I'm wrong,
- 25:51Speaker 2: her former her.
- 25:54Speaker 4: Ex, Evan has a new girlfriend.
- 25:56Speaker 2: Has a new girlfriend, right, yeah, yeah.
- 25:58Speaker 4: I don't really know why I Evan even make it.
- 26:00Speaker 4: That's pretty crazy that Evan would make a headline. But
- 26:02Speaker 4: I saw that as well. We feel I'm not trying
- 26:05Speaker 4: to be shady, but.
- 26:07Speaker 3: Well, I think you know, there's some shade there. But
- 26:11Speaker 3: it feels like Carl has a lot to talk about
- 26:13Speaker 3: right now. I wonder if she'd be willing to come
- 26:15Speaker 3: on and talk about obviously this new diagnosis along with
- 26:19Speaker 3: a really exciting conversation of what is going on with Evan.
- 26:23Speaker 3: And then Carly has a boyfriend.
- 26:25Speaker 4: Oh yeah, Carly did talk to us about her well,
- 26:27Speaker 4: she teased that she had a boyfriend last time she
- 26:30Speaker 4: was on Okay, and they've been together for I want
- 26:34Speaker 4: to say a little bit over a year now. I
- 26:36Speaker 4: think it's serious. I think they're going to get engaged.
- 26:39Speaker 4: We will see, Yeah, we can. We should talk to
- 26:41Speaker 4: her about this this health issues. Evan has had other
- 26:46Speaker 4: girlfriends in the past couple of years.
- 26:47Speaker 3: You just jumped from health issues to Evan again. You
- 26:51Speaker 3: can't get en off your mind.
- 26:52Speaker 4: Good I don't know if he was dating like someone
- 26:56Speaker 4: relatively like like Insta war, you know, like if he
- 27:01Speaker 4: was dating like an influencer or like somebody who is famous.
- 27:04Speaker 4: I could see it making headlines. But Van Bass's new girlfriend,
- 27:07Speaker 4: I don't know. He's definitely dated since they broke up.
- 27:12Speaker 3: Oh goodness, Well, that's all the headlines for you today. Again,
- 27:15Speaker 3: I said it. I thought you guys some big headlines. Obviously,
- 27:18Speaker 3: we just talked about Carly the Devin thirteen minute wild video,
- 27:23Speaker 3: along with Katie Thurston getting engaged. There's just a lot
- 27:29Speaker 3: of a lot of headlines here to run through and
- 27:31Speaker 3: a lot of things to talk about. I want to
- 27:34Speaker 3: make it clear. I think Grant is our next bachelor,
- 27:37Speaker 3: and until I improven otherwise, I'm going to believe that,
- 27:39Speaker 3: and I think it's gonna be a great bachelor. I think, though,
- 27:43Speaker 3: these rumors are always worth bringing up because how embarrassing
- 27:48Speaker 3: would it be if we never talked about it, We
- 27:51Speaker 3: never even brought it up, and then all of a sudden,
- 27:54Speaker 3: this little weird rumor becomes true, would be so embarrassing for.
- 27:57Speaker 4: Us, so embarrassing to not be on top of things. Also,
- 28:01Speaker 4: his seasons like set to start within the next week,
- 28:04Speaker 4: so it would be a really last minute change. And
- 28:07Speaker 4: happy tenth anniversary to me being part of the Bachelor
- 28:10Speaker 4: franchise because it's this week, should have been ten years
- 28:16Speaker 4: ago that it all started, that I pulled up in
- 28:20Speaker 4: that limo. That is the most handsome man I've ever seen.
- 28:26Speaker 3: Yeah, just to be clear, Chris Soles was her Bachelor,
- 28:28Speaker 3: not me. Hey, until next time, I've been Then I've been.
