- 0:01It is practically a universal experience, among religious and
- 0:05spiritual Seekers. And even among people who are
- 0:08simply developing some kind of an inner life that they have an
- 0:13aspiration, a desire to consecrate themselves, to some
- 0:17gold principle or idea. And yet they struggle with
- 0:22opposing predilections that cause them extreme distress.
- 0:28Some religious devotees, for instance, take on a vow of
- 0:32celibacy as part of their commitment to the religion, they
- 0:36follow. And yet there's an extraordinary
- 0:40amount of sexual tension they experience through their lives,
- 0:44which leads in some cases, to sexual activities, much of which
- 0:49has been exposed in recent years, in the various sexual
- 0:53abuse scandals, that have rock some of the major religious
- 0:56institutions of the world. Old or in other's two forms of
- 1:00self torture such as use of the Solis or sack cloth or even
- 1:06self-flagellation as they tried to beat the recalcitrant parts
- 1:11of their being into submission. There are of course other
- 1:16instances. Such as overcoming the impulse
- 1:18to anger judgment and condemnation of others and
- 1:22extreme instances. Such as the holy Inquisition.
- 1:26In the Catholic church, that evidence and internal conflict
- 1:31between a stated ideal held by part of the being and the
- 1:35opposition within the nature that tries to save Express and
- 1:40enjoy the objects of Desire held by other parts of the being
- 1:45Those things that an individual cannot face within himself, he
- 1:50then turns out words to try to dominate or control what he sees
- 1:55in others. The reality is that each
- 1:59individual has within him. The entire range of response and
- 2:03capacity of each of the component, aspects of the being
- 2:08physical vital, emotional, and mental under certain pressure,
- 2:14or sets of circumstances, the seed sprouts.
- 2:18And they suddenly experienced an uprising of things that they may
- 2:22have. Thought had been totally
- 2:24extirpated from the nature. Aspects of the being which had
- 2:29been suppressed. Still remained in seed form,
- 2:33just waiting for the right conditions to make themselves
- 2:37felt The mother observes quote, an entity is a personality or an
- 2:45individuality. There are many such
- 2:48Personalities in each one of us, if these personalities agree and
- 2:53are complementary with one another, they make up a human
- 2:57being a rich and complex person. But that is not what?
- 3:02Usually happens. These personalities do not agree
- 3:06with one another. For example, one of them might
- 3:10wish to make some progress to become more and more perfect to
- 3:15get a deeper knowledge of things to realize more and more to
- 3:21proceed towards the Perfection of the being while another one,
- 3:25may simply want to have fun and enjoy itself as much as it can.
- 3:32One day, it will do this. The next day, something else
- 3:35Etc. If the personalities do not
- 3:39agree, this person's life will be incoherent and that is not
- 3:44unusual. In fact, these cases are very
- 3:48common. What happens then conflicts
- 3:53friction inner disorder created by these individualities, which
- 3:58are unable to get on with one another.
- 4:01The strongest one, gets the upper hand, it is not only
- 4:05dominant over the others, but curbs them to stop them from
- 4:09rebelling. So, in the end, The Unlucky
- 4:13ones, the repressed ones, go to sleep, they bide their time and
- 4:19when that time, Time comes they suddenly jump up and turn
- 4:23everything upside down. If that happens very often, that
- 4:28person's life will be a very disorderly one.
- 4:31He will take up one thing today and go on with another tomorrow.
