- 0:23chickens. Hey everybody.
- 0:28Good morning from the chicken coop.
- 0:30Poop. Have you ever had a pomegranate?
- 0:33So this is one of the interesting fruits in the world,
- 0:37and I'm sure most of you have had a pomegranate, or even least
- 0:41had pomegranate juice. Let's put it that way, but it
- 0:43have you ever actually sat down to enjoy a pomegranate?
- 0:48So, we know that they provide absolute unbelievable benefits
- 0:54Health Wise, that's why everybody wants to drink
- 0:57pomegranate juice. And there's such a huge company
- 0:59called palm and no, this is not a pitch.
- 1:00Palm, however, the pomegranate itself is not a particularly
- 1:06great looking fruit, okay? It's kind of weird-looking and
- 1:10then when you try to eat it, it is arduous.
- 1:13It is one of those things that only kids like, because they're,
- 1:18they're just daunting to take apart.
- 1:20I remember my first time having it and I was like, gosh, this is
- 1:24unbelievable. Like the amount of work that it
- 1:27takes to actually quote unquote, enjoy it not Don't even know
- 1:31that I enjoy it because it's got a weird tart taste and it's hard
- 1:37to eat and there it's just messy now why the hell am I talking
- 1:42about this? Because the benefits of said
- 1:46fruit and the work? It takes to deal with said fruit
- 1:50have lessons in it. And so I was thinking about how
- 1:53sometimes we want, such a quick fix and it is so big in society
- 1:58right now that everybody wants the outcome.
- 2:00The effort I shouldn't say everybody should see many people
- 2:04want the outcome without the effort and they just want that
- 2:07instantaneous. Boom.
- 2:09Boom, boom, boom. Boom.
- 2:10You know, I should get it. I'm entitled to it.
- 2:12Oh, just because of my very existence.
- 2:14I am entitled to something and I am not a believer of that and I
- 2:18will stand on that soapbox all day long.
- 2:20And say it because I was brought up with, listen, we work hard
- 2:26and we stay faithful and we do the mindset work and we do the
- 2:31intelligence work and we put good into the world and we get
- 2:34good back in the world and the pomegranate represents that for
- 2:39me. It is a fruit that isn't always
- 2:43pretty. It doesn't have always the best
- 2:47taste in the world but the benefits from it are huge and
- 2:51when you get past, the work the seeds, the cutting the digging,
- 2:56the benefits that it gives you are tremendous and You start to
- 3:01apply that principle to life and you get past the fact that you
- 3:04should be entitled to things. Everything happens in a, in a,
- 3:09in a path. That's sewed.
- 3:11Unbelievably just shockingly. Wonderful things unfold like
- 3:17magic, but you have to get your head in the right place and your
- 3:21actions in the right place and it is not just about being
- 3:24handed things. You know, I post a lot of
- 3:29pictures about the Hours that I grow, and the vegetables that I
- 3:33grow because these are my mindfulness activities to teach
- 3:36you guys. These are things that show you.
- 3:39That's how you find mindfulness in the world.
- 3:41You focus on little things, you be grateful for those little
- 3:45things as much as you can see them, and you incorporate that
- 3:50ideology into yourself. So I have belonged to a lot of
- 3:54little groups share pictures because I love taking pictures
- 3:58anyway, it's just part of how Hard wiring is and how I see the
- 4:02world and I was taught early on when I went to school for
- 4:05graphics in photography and everything else that you share
- 4:10your vision when you take those pictures of how your angles,
- 4:13your point of view, it's hardly ever the same as someone else
- 4:17is. So, it's always fascinating that
- 4:18you can have the same flower and 10 people can take a picture of
- 4:21it and maybe only two of them have a view that catches an eye.
- 4:25And again, we're all representative of how we see
- 4:28things. So, anyway, I'm posting these
- 4:30pictures of these flowers and these people are talking about,
- 4:34well, you're lucky that you are flowers, are blooming, you're
- 4:39lucky that this is what's happening for you, mine are not
- 4:42doing this. And so I posted back and I said,
- 4:45well, I'm heavily feeding them. I'm making sure that I'm
- 4:49utilizing other elements of my farm on the flowers and I'm
- 4:53putting chicken poop that's been, composted with hay and I'm
- 4:57packing it around them. I'm using rabbit poop around
- 5:00them. My rabbits and I'm making sure
- 5:03they have fish food. Fertilizer on them every three
- 5:05weeks and they are rewarding me. And this woman comes back and
- 5:10she says well I wouldn't want that messy stuff around my roses
- 5:16and I thought to myself wow that's really interesting.
- 5:19So she wants the outcome without the effort.
- 5:23She wants to have that Rose say Hey listen I'm going to just
- 5:26Bloom for you give you gorgeousness but I'm not going
- 5:29to, you know. Give you what you need to thrive
- 5:32and I sent back and I said, well that's your choice but the rose
- 5:35is clearly giving you a message it's not getting what it needs.
- 5:39So you have to make a decision about if you're willing to
- 5:42sacrifice the prettiness of what's around the rose to get
- 5:46the actual rose, no reply back and that's how it works in this
- 5:52world. You have to be willing to do it.
- 5:54You have to dive into the pomegranate, you have to say,
- 5:57I'm going to take the crappy bitter.
- 6:00This ugly fruit because I know it does something great for my
- 6:03blood and my bones and my brain. So there you have it and I hope
- 6:10you have a pomegranate today. I hope you have something
- 6:12fabulous that kicks your ass into realizing you gotta do the
- 6:18work, you have got to get yourself settled on.
- 6:22It's not easy and just running off and saying, oh look at me,
- 6:28I'm going to do something or oh, look at me.
- 6:30This is what I did and it's barely done is not enough.
- 6:34So if you don't have the outcomes that you want, look at
- 6:38your effort and be really honest with yourself.
- 6:41I hope you guys have a fun filled day, a blessed day and I
- 6:44will see you tomorrow. My friends.
- 6:46Bye! This is what I did and it's
- 6:32barely done is not enough. So if you don't have the
- 6:36outcomes that you want, look at your effort and be really honest
- 6:39with yourself. I hope you guys have a fun
- 6:43filled day, a blessed day and I will see you tomorrow.
- 6:45My friends. Bye!
