AlterNet reports that White House officials and Republicans fear their political support may be collapsing, according to journalist Jonathan Lemire. He cited an Associated Press-NORC poll in which 17 percent of U.S. adults approved of President Donald Trump’s handling of living costs and 26 percent approved of his handling of the economy.
