Today, on Good Friday, we begin the message of the Resurrection, when Jesus rose from the dead. He died to give us life. For those who believe this by faith, the resurrection confirms the forgiveness of their sins and the eternal life that is now theirs in Christ. Jesus is alive and seated at the right hand of God, interceding for us. He rose again so that we could rise with him into glory. This is the power of Easter.
