  [SPEAKER_00]: Poison Rana.
• 0:12
[SPEAKER_01]: Hello, hello, hello, Brayton Harrington here with Davey Portman for poison rana live you found us right here on YouTube.com slash at poison rana pod hello YouTube room.
• 0:27
  [SPEAKER_00]: How are we doing?
• 0:29
[SPEAKER_01]: It is Monday morning May 25 at 1 a.m. and we are in Queens, New York.
• 0:37
  [SPEAKER_01]: Yes, New York City.
• 0:38
[SPEAKER_01]: We are currently in our friend Daniel's Queens apartment.
• 0:42
[SPEAKER_01]: He got us home really quick.
• 0:44
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, we did really well.
• 0:45
[SPEAKER_00]: I think this show, I think we've been so used to these long, four and a half, five hour AEW paper views.
• 0:53
[SPEAKER_00]: We were expecting to get out at about 1230.
• 0:56
  [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
• 0:57
[SPEAKER_00]: So he booked out of there.
• 0:59
[SPEAKER_00]: He said, as soon as the match finished, I left.
• 1:02
  [SPEAKER_00]: I didn't miss anything, did I?
• 1:03
  [SPEAKER_00]: I was like, bowl.
• 1:06
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, you did, but like Kevin night came out.
• 1:08
[SPEAKER_00]: He's like, oh, yeah, what did he do?
• 1:09
[SPEAKER_00]: It was like, uh, thanks to the list.
• 1:12
  [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
• 1:12
[SPEAKER_01]: If we were like five minutes late, we would have never made it back.
• 1:16
[SPEAKER_01]: Because that that whole like area is like this big bridge to go into these stadiums.
• 1:22
  [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
• 1:22
[SPEAKER_01]: And it is one way in one way out.
• 1:25
[SPEAKER_01]: And that's unfortunately what it was like,
• 1:28
[SPEAKER_01]: going into the venue today.
• 1:31
[SPEAKER_01]: We gave ourselves a lot of time.
• 1:32
[SPEAKER_01]: You know, I couldn't miss the risler and Mick Foley, but the risler.
• 1:37
[SPEAKER_01]: And we were just outside hanging out for way too long in that line.
• 1:41
[SPEAKER_00]: It was, it was one of the longest ones we've been in.
• 1:43
[SPEAKER_00]: It was long, very slow moving.
• 1:45
  [SPEAKER_00]: I mean, I guess, like,
• 1:47
[SPEAKER_00]: I don't think that venue does much apart from the tennis and even on those sort of tennis days people come sporadically throughout the days because there's so many different matches on and stuff.
• 1:57
[SPEAKER_00]: So can imagine it being busy like after the like the main matches yeah yeah it was not the best organized and and then you think you've got if you had city field games of concerts well like that area it's just crazy it's not really built up.
• 2:12
[SPEAKER_01]: So yeah, it was it was a little hectic getting in there.
• 2:15
[SPEAKER_01]: Again, we showed up maybe just after around sevenish and we didn't get in until just pretty much like 10 to eight or something.
• 2:23
[SPEAKER_01]: So we were we were in line for about 30 to 40 minutes and we we hung out shut out seen a evil.
• 2:29
[SPEAKER_01]: We got to see no fire Frank and our friend Daniel of course, but we we were just hanging outside and people were kind of like
• 2:36
[SPEAKER_01]: Hey, why, why I mean, we can hear everything going on.
• 2:40
[SPEAKER_01]: You can hear the music and then I heard the boom music played.
• 2:42
[SPEAKER_01]: And I was like, are you kidding me?
• 2:44
[SPEAKER_01]: Tony Khan, you would pay for your sins.
• 2:46
[SPEAKER_01]: You made me miss the risler and did justice.
• 2:49
  [SPEAKER_01]: Refund.
• 2:50
[SPEAKER_00]: I think we knew from that point though, it was going to be a really hot crowd.
• 2:53
[SPEAKER_00]: Because we were messaging, uh, Paul it.
• 2:57
[SPEAKER_00]: We were saying like, oh, we're in line.
• 2:59
[SPEAKER_00]: We're not in there yet.
• 3:00
[SPEAKER_00]: And he's like, yeah, it seems about half full.
• 3:02
  [SPEAKER_00]: So far on TV.
• 3:02
  [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
• 3:03
[SPEAKER_00]: And we could hear it.
• 3:05
  [SPEAKER_00]: because it's a tennis stadium, right?
• 3:07
  [SPEAKER_00]: So there's, it's often open up, but they've got a covering.
• 3:11
[SPEAKER_00]: So there's areas of it, which you can just walk outside and you're, so there's air coming through, like it was kind of cold and cold.
• 3:18
  [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
• 3:19
[SPEAKER_00]: So it was quite blustery like in the stadium.
• 3:23
[SPEAKER_00]: But because of that, the sounds coming out.
• 3:25
[SPEAKER_00]: So we're hearing it and it sounds loud as we're walking to the venue.
• 3:29
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, even outside, like again, if it was half full for the pre-show, as I did kind of look through some videos and it did look like there was you know, missing seats or whatever, but it still sounded so loud.
• 3:39
[SPEAKER_01]: So that's where we're like, oh, I bet this is going to be a really, really hot crowd in New York, New York is a W country now.
• 3:46
[SPEAKER_01]: I like this crowd were very into everything.
• 3:50
[SPEAKER_01]: from start to finish and I think it was one of the more loud and like appreciative crowds that we came to.
• 3:58
[SPEAKER_00]: It's same for the most part kept it up throughout.
• 4:01
[SPEAKER_00]: Maybe a little quieter in the main than some of the others, but I thought this crowd kept up that energy right throughout.
• 4:08
  [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, no, absolutely.
• 4:09
  [SPEAKER_01]: I knew York.
• 4:11
[SPEAKER_01]: They were ready for that show.
• 4:12
[SPEAKER_01]: They came prepared and they came for five plus hours of pro wrestling on a Sunday night, but it's a holiday Monday.
• 4:21
[SPEAKER_01]: It's not too bad, but again, getting in and out of that thing was a little hectic, but that it felt like the outside is there were people climb enough bridges and fence and Like cut in line.
• 4:34
[SPEAKER_01]: I would have thought about it if we had trying to make that uber out of the night where we got a jump
• 4:38
[SPEAKER_01]: We had a job, people were throwing each other's replicate belts, belt wankers, and like uh, replicate the chairs that they're collecting, or maybe stole, and people were like, it's like the Titanic going down, they were throwing like, hold my belts, I'm just one guy soul, like people climbing off this bridge area, and he's like, oh, I'm gonna do that, and then realized because of bridges on a slot.
• 4:59
[SPEAKER_00]: that he was way too high.
• 5:01
[SPEAKER_00]: And you start seeing him like, I can't do this.
• 5:03
  [SPEAKER_00]: I don't know what to do.
• 5:04
[SPEAKER_01]: They're like, just jump and I'm like, don't do.
• 5:06
  [SPEAKER_01]: Just stop.
• 5:07
[SPEAKER_01]: And all of this mind you, all these people jumping, you're only making the line moves slower now because those are thousands of people.
• 5:14
[SPEAKER_00]: But yeah, they don't care about it.
• 5:16
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, yeah, we do that.
• 5:18
[SPEAKER_01]: But yeah, it was pretty hectic, but we were able to get out of there pretty quickly.
• 5:21
[SPEAKER_01]: And that's how we hop and skip over to our friends.
• 5:24
  [SPEAKER_01]: And that's why we're here.
• 5:25
[SPEAKER_01]: We usually, if you listen to us, uh, Brandon and David by the way, hello, follow us on Instagram at poison run up pod, whatever you search poison run up pod.
• 5:34
[SPEAKER_01]: And hey, hit that follow and subscribe.
• 5:36
[SPEAKER_01]: We usually, if you listen or gone back through our shows, we sometimes record, uh, on on the on a walk and around on a walk or
• 5:46
[SPEAKER_01]: right after the show and AW is doing their post-pressor.
• 5:50
[SPEAKER_01]: I'm sure right now and we saw it all set up.
• 5:53
[SPEAKER_01]: Unfortunately this was the first instance where we didn't get media because of just how busy it was.
• 5:59
[SPEAKER_01]: So we we already booked our flights and everything and we can't blame them because it was us legit sold out show.
• 6:06
[SPEAKER_00]: Like every seat was packed and right to the top.
• 6:10
[SPEAKER_01]: So we were bummed of course, but that's the reason why we're not currently sitting at the presser.
• 6:15
[SPEAKER_01]: I know we wanted to ask Will Osprey about what New York City shenanigans he got up to on Friday and Saturday.
• 6:23
[SPEAKER_00]: I bet he went to Applebee's in Sparrow.
• 6:28
[SPEAKER_00]: You went to get a New York flight.
• 6:29
  [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
• 6:30
[SPEAKER_01]: No, he probably had some New York dispensaries, maybe.
• 6:33
  [SPEAKER_00]: Maybe possibly.
• 6:35
[SPEAKER_01]: No, so that's why we wanted to ask some questions, but hopefully, we get some media again next time, but we always appreciate a daily.
• 6:43
[SPEAKER_01]: They do treat not only the fans, but the people who, you know, media and whatnot, so even though tonight we're not there, I still appreciate that we sometimes they give us a little nod.
• 6:53
  [SPEAKER_01]: Like, hey, you're invited.
• 6:54
  [SPEAKER_01]: Come, please.
• 6:55
  [SPEAKER_01]: So I do think it's cool.
• 6:57
[SPEAKER_00]: But you can help us out as well by liking and subscribing.
• 7:00
[SPEAKER_00]: We're really trying to grow our YouTube at the moment, and it's helping us grow.
• 7:05
[SPEAKER_00]: So please, if you haven't already, hit that like and subscribe.
• 7:08
[SPEAKER_00]: And superchats are open as we have one already from Jake from the Windy City, who says, wonderful paper view and New York brought their A game tonight.
• 7:17
[SPEAKER_00]: To Kestero Carda was my match to the night, I think MSG should seriously give a WN opportunity to host a show.
• 7:27
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I think New York City they would definitely was was Mondani in the crowd tonight.
• 7:32
[SPEAKER_01]: He was at the gradslam.
• 7:33
  [SPEAKER_01]: You might be.
• 7:34
[SPEAKER_00]: You might have been there tonight.
• 7:35
[SPEAKER_01]: Hey, maybe that's something they do all in MSG one day.
• 7:39
  [SPEAKER_01]: could happen.
• 7:40
  [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
• 7:41
  [SPEAKER_00]: Possibly.
• 7:41
  [SPEAKER_01]: Maybe.
• 7:41
[SPEAKER_01]: But that is that is something that I'd be I bet they tried to.
• 7:47
[SPEAKER_01]: I'm sure WWE has that on lock and they're like, no, I'm not so fast.
• 7:51
[SPEAKER_01]: So maybe that's probably the reason why.
• 7:53
[SPEAKER_01]: But I didn't what where were we tonight?
• 7:55
[SPEAKER_01]: This was not the same stadium as no.
• 7:58
[SPEAKER_00]: So this is the the the second stadium at the like, um,
• 8:03
  [SPEAKER_00]: Rthrash complex, right?
• 8:04
  [SPEAKER_00]: Right, really ginkngngngngngngngngngngngngngngngngngngngngngngngngngngngngngngngngngngngngngngngngngngngngngngngngngngngngngngngngngngngngngngngngngngngngngngngngngngngngngngngngngngngngngngngngngngngngngngngngngngngngngngngngngngngngngngngngngngngngngngngngngngngngngngngngngngngngngngngngngngngngngngngngngngngngngngngngngngngngngngngngngngngngngngngngngngngngngngngngngngngngngngngngngngngngngngngngngngngngngngngngngngngngngngngng
• 8:30
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, no, it seemed like every single person was there in their seats.
• 8:34
[SPEAKER_01]: Like, we've been lucky enough to travel and go to a W Shows.
• 8:38
[SPEAKER_01]: And I've been to some dynamites where, you know, it's not necessarily that full.
• 8:42
[SPEAKER_01]: And you can like move around and people move around no matter because it doesn't matter.
• 8:45
[SPEAKER_01]: And these like 15,000 arenas with 5,000 people, but this was like,
• 8:50
[SPEAKER_01]: crazy like and among it let's felt like grand slam when we came to New York and I know you've been to the few of the grand slams but we came together to the first one Kenny and Denison.
• 9:00
[SPEAKER_01]: It felt like you know thousands of people, it felt like a WrestleMania a little bit right and that kind of felt that way with the energy outside of just
• 9:07
[SPEAKER_01]: So many people who maybe just couldn't get in yet, but it was like, wow, like New York showed up for some some wrestling.
• 9:13
[SPEAKER_01]: So I would imagine we get another paper of view down the line.
• 9:17
  [SPEAKER_01]: I know it's full gear.
• 9:18
[SPEAKER_01]: Full gear in New Jersey.
• 9:19
[SPEAKER_00]: Full gear has been the last couple of years, hasn't it?
• 9:21
  [SPEAKER_01]: I'm a little bit.
• 9:22
[SPEAKER_01]: I've been to the city now enough as a Canadian now.
• 9:24
[SPEAKER_01]: I'm sorry, American, there were New Yorkers, whoever, but like I'm realizing, you know, for us, it's like, oh, let's go to New York because they're doing Jersey.
• 9:31
  [SPEAKER_01]: Are they doing Queens?
• 9:32
[SPEAKER_01]: Was it these are completely separate and far places?
• 9:36
[SPEAKER_01]: But still New York City, if you're in the New York area, you can still go to all these shows.
• 9:40
[SPEAKER_01]: Some way, yeah, some way to the city never sleeps, right?
• 9:44
[SPEAKER_01]: And all these burrows and whatnot.
• 9:45
[SPEAKER_01]: So yeah, I think AEW is quite fine and popular in this state.
• 9:50
[SPEAKER_01]: But yeah, we had a ton of fun.
• 9:52
[SPEAKER_01]: Well, we had a great little weekend here.
• 9:54
[SPEAKER_01]: This was kind of a little bit of a last minute decision to go.
• 9:57
[SPEAKER_01]: Obviously, El Cada to catch the match being advertised.
• 10:00
[SPEAKER_01]: Swade my, hey, yeah, all right, you're like, you want me to get the flight or my,
• 10:04
[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know, and then you're like, but it's okay to catch, okay, so here we are.
• 10:09
[SPEAKER_01]: And we've had the last few days bar hopping around the sea and it's been a good time, we went to a play.
• 10:15
  [SPEAKER_01]: We did.
• 10:16
[SPEAKER_01]: He's got me to go to Broadway.
• 10:17
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, shout out John Birnthall.
• 10:19
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, so don't die off to noon on Broadway.
• 10:21
[SPEAKER_00]: We saw some the less gone Friday and our hopping.
• 10:25
[SPEAKER_00]: So a lot of wrestling today.
• 10:26
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, yeah, yeah, again, check out our socials to see what we've been up to.
• 10:30
[SPEAKER_01]: We also recorded a few snap runners.
• 10:33
[SPEAKER_01]: about our, we met Snookie, who did meet Snookie.
• 10:35
[SPEAKER_01]: Talked about ghosts at an airport bar.
• 10:37
  [SPEAKER_01]: It's been crazy.
• 10:38
[SPEAKER_01]: So check out our SnapRona for some of the stuff we've been up to on our Patreon, but PoisonRond.safe for links of everything that we do.
• 10:46
[SPEAKER_01]: Then we went to cheap shots today.
• 10:47
[SPEAKER_00]: We did, yes, we mount with some friends, had some cheap shots like...
• 10:52
  [SPEAKER_00]: Cool.
• 10:53
[SPEAKER_00]: I entered the wing challenge.
• 10:56
  [SPEAKER_00]: Oh, yeah.
• 10:57
[SPEAKER_00]: So it was an inferno match.
• 11:00
  [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
• 11:02
[SPEAKER_00]: eat six wings in four minutes.
• 11:04
[SPEAKER_00]: I'm like, okay, that sounds like I could do that.
• 11:07
[SPEAKER_00]: My sleep is like yeah.
• 11:09
[SPEAKER_00]: But the source is the four horsemen, is like, okay, that's wrestling related.
• 11:13
[SPEAKER_00]: You got me like, how hot is this?
• 11:15
  [SPEAKER_00]: And she's like, oh, I wouldn't do it.
• 11:17
  [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
• 11:17
[SPEAKER_00]: And it's basically all four of their hottest sources mixed together.
• 11:21
  [SPEAKER_00]: Right.
• 11:21
[SPEAKER_00]: And the customers, if you if you manage to complete it in under four minutes, you get your wings for free and you get $50 credit off your bill.
• 11:30
  [SPEAKER_00]: Wow.
• 11:31
[SPEAKER_00]: And Instagram glory, it's it.
• 11:34
[SPEAKER_01]: Did you get the Instagram?
• 11:35
  [SPEAKER_00]: No.
• 11:35
  [SPEAKER_00]: Oh, I'm loved.
• 11:37
[SPEAKER_00]: I like crushed them in three minutes, it was fine.
• 11:39
  [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
• 11:40
  [SPEAKER_00]: You ate them.
• 11:41
[SPEAKER_00]: And then I'm like, take that 50 bucks off my bit off.
• 11:44
[SPEAKER_01]: You definitely can handle your spice and everything.
• 11:46
[SPEAKER_01]: And you would tell me you're like, this wasn't that hard.
• 11:48
[SPEAKER_00]: Like we have the... For it to be a challenge.
• 11:51
[SPEAKER_00]: Like I was how I thought it was going to be like...
• 11:53
  [SPEAKER_00]: The ball.
• 11:53
  [SPEAKER_00]: Like from hot ones.
• 11:54
  [SPEAKER_00]: The last dab.
• 11:55
  [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
• 11:56
  [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
• 11:56
[SPEAKER_01]: So you crushed them, they'll probably be like, this wasn't even hot.
• 11:58
[SPEAKER_01]: So this bar might need to change their challenge.
• 12:01
[SPEAKER_00]: Or maybe because I'm going to go back.
• 12:03
[SPEAKER_00]: And then we'll do it again tonight after this show.
• 12:06
  [SPEAKER_00]: Go about allergies.
• 12:06
[SPEAKER_00]: You can put chin still open.
• 12:08
  [SPEAKER_00]: It's still the chin.
• 12:09
  [SPEAKER_01]: Glasses on, fake mustache.
• 12:10
[SPEAKER_01]: I'd like to enter the challenge.
• 12:12
  [SPEAKER_00]: Here's this guy.
• 12:13
[SPEAKER_00]: You can go to where you eat six wings and you make money.
• 12:16
  [SPEAKER_00]: It's great.
• 12:17
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, so maybe we'll go back with cheap shots and Queen shout out about the place of it.
• 12:21
  [SPEAKER_01]: What an establishment.
• 12:22
  [SPEAKER_01]: What an establishment.
• 12:23
  [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
• 12:24
[SPEAKER_01]: So then we hopped and skipped over to this venue and we got in there after like a fucking hour, but we made it in there and we made it in just in time to we missed the pre show.
• 12:36
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, unfortunately, like we didn't even see the Mick Foley stuff.
• 12:39
  [SPEAKER_01]: It's okay.
• 12:39
[SPEAKER_01]: Because Mick Foley was pretty much hanging out right near us for a lot of the show later on.
• 12:47
[SPEAKER_01]: We got in and basically missed the entire pre-show so we kind of had to catch up on what happened and I think MJF kicked him in the nuts Something like that.
• 12:56
[SPEAKER_01]: We were trying and they announced he is only right.
• 12:59
[SPEAKER_01]: Yes, he is all elite.
• 13:01
[SPEAKER_01]: So maybe we do get that one last match But we were like, okay, we we've had some drinks earlier.
• 13:08
[SPEAKER_01]: Let's let's be reasonable and try to find the coffee in the venue.
• 13:13
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, got to shout out
• 13:15
[SPEAKER_01]: then use that have coffee.
• 13:17
[SPEAKER_01]: And fortunately, this wasn't one of them.
• 13:19
[SPEAKER_01]: I think I remember from Grand Slam that they didn't have coffee because those were long shows.
• 13:24
[SPEAKER_00]: They were for our TV.
• 13:25
[SPEAKER_00]: All these are like, yeah.
• 13:27
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, but Grand Slam felt long.
• 13:29
[SPEAKER_00]: Like this one didn't feel long tonight.
• 13:31
  [SPEAKER_00]: I didn't think.
• 13:31
[SPEAKER_01]: This one felt like it breathed by a little bit quicker.
• 13:34
[SPEAKER_01]: And I was pretty tired halfway through and I still managed to be like, okay, they kept my attention.
• 13:38
[SPEAKER_01]: Like, you know, I still think a show maybe shouldn't end after midnight, but that's just a grower.
• 13:44
[SPEAKER_01]: Throw up as far as tomorrow.
• 13:45
[SPEAKER_01]: There's probably still some things you could, you know, put on Wednesday, but I felt this one Float and nothing like it didn't feel like a summer go other ones.
• 13:53
[SPEAKER_01]: I will admit that so yeah, but they didn't have coffee So then we're like, all right.
• 13:58
  [SPEAKER_01]: Well, that definitely doesn't help I didn't I didn't even see Red Bull
• 14:03
[SPEAKER_00]: No, it's it's really strange some of these places you think coffee and Red Bull would be in all of them Yeah, yeah, I just find that weird like we went to dynasty in Vancouver.
• 14:12
[SPEAKER_00]: They're 10 horns all over the venue Yeah, they didn't even have docking in this thing, but but yeah, well Let's get into the show before my battery dies.
• 14:21
  [SPEAKER_00]: Absolutely.
• 14:22
[SPEAKER_00]: So uh kicking things off with Cajuncope versus FTR in an i-quit match where uh
• 14:29
[SPEAKER_00]: the championships are on the line.
• 14:31
[SPEAKER_00]: And if Copen Cage lose, they must retire from tagting competition.
• 14:36
  [SPEAKER_01]: Yes, yes.
• 14:37
[SPEAKER_01]: We've been lucky enough to see all three of these now live, where it was the first and trial they make over and then this one.
• 14:43
[SPEAKER_01]: And again, starting this off with this heart crowd to do the the Adam Copeland singing alter bridge.
• 14:50
[SPEAKER_00]: You knew he had everyone in the one of the best versions of that, because sometimes they've done that fade out and everyone left is like,
• 14:59
  [SPEAKER_01]: This sounded good.
• 15:00
  [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
• 15:00
  [SPEAKER_00]: That's a great acoustic stuff.
• 15:02
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, it really was echoing and everything and people were really into it and that's what was starting to show, right?
• 15:07
[SPEAKER_01]: And then same with Christian still.
• 15:08
[SPEAKER_01]: I think Edgen Christian this act is still like work.
• 15:12
[SPEAKER_01]: It's way better as a tag team and not like I think of one cop was in the mean event and stuff like that and this is way better and he's and they the people react better to the both of them being on this like.
• 15:23
[SPEAKER_01]: retirement run almost like hey you're in the twilight of your careers your best friends why not kind of yeah do this one last run so uh i i didn't love the all out one in Toronto but i love like the Vancouver one a lot more and i thought this one was it gradually like evolved to get to this one where you had a lot of the weapons and and obviously with the i-quit but
• 15:46
[SPEAKER_01]: When Beth got taken out in Toronto, you were where you needed the return and this was like the justified like, no, no, no, I'm going to get revenge on Stokely.
• 15:55
[SPEAKER_01]: And then they did the Mick Foley Edge flaming table spot.
• 15:59
[SPEAKER_01]: It got lit in Queens and that was the opening match and you had fire like this crowd were like, yes.
• 16:06
[SPEAKER_01]: So, you know, that was a whole lot of fun and set the the pace right off for the the whole show.
• 16:12
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I think this one later in the show might not have got the reaction.
• 16:17
[SPEAKER_00]: I think this is perfect.
• 16:19
[SPEAKER_00]: Start with a sing song.
• 16:20
[SPEAKER_00]: He's always a good way to start.
• 16:22
[SPEAKER_00]: And yeah, the match is fun.
• 16:25
[SPEAKER_00]: And it got those levels.
• 16:26
[SPEAKER_00]: You mentioned the flaming table.
• 16:28
[SPEAKER_00]: The what was the finish was spike.
• 16:31
[SPEAKER_00]: Wasn't it with the submissive?
• 16:32
  [SPEAKER_00]: Oh, yes.
• 16:33
  [SPEAKER_00]: With that spike.
• 16:34
  [SPEAKER_00]: Dax quitting.
• 16:36
[SPEAKER_00]: But yeah, I think we this one was.
• 16:39
[SPEAKER_00]: We said on our preview show, very predictable.
• 16:42
[SPEAKER_00]: Copencage aren't retiring without facing the box, right?
• 16:45
[SPEAKER_00]: Like and we expect to have that all in trio like triple threat match or four way or whatever So we all knew they were gonna win this there but
• 16:56
[SPEAKER_00]: I still bet on a lot of the near falls and well, not near falls but quits I guess and there was some fun stuff and definitely the flame table the return of Beth and stokely being the one eating it totally took that.
• 17:09
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, he must have had some stuff underneath that thing he wears because like he took that that fire Christian in one of the times because it was an awkward I quit match with the microphone on the ref here they were like do you quit he's like
• 17:21
[SPEAKER_01]: No, I banged your mother so then it erupted a, he banged your mom's hat banged your mother and all these different chances.
• 17:29
[SPEAKER_01]: I thought I'd Christian banged his mom, so that was pretty funny.
• 17:33
[SPEAKER_00]: I like who the dick kicking as well, like when he set up for the spear and just ran and grab your dick and twist it.
• 17:38
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, because there was like pliers.
• 17:40
[SPEAKER_00]: It was pliers to the dick as well.
• 17:42
  [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, geez.
• 17:43
  [SPEAKER_00]: Okay, wow.
• 17:45
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, you know, this was a fun match to start off the show and it had some fun crazy spots that had people's attention Again, once you lit something on fire in the first match.
• 17:53
[SPEAKER_01]: It's like, okay, after the races.
• 17:54
[SPEAKER_01]: So I thought it was a good.
• 17:56
  [SPEAKER_00]: Is it good opener?
• 17:56
[SPEAKER_00]: So now would you expect?
• 17:59
[SPEAKER_00]: Page and cope against the box to be the next paper view?
• 18:02
  [SPEAKER_01]: I guess so.
• 18:03
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, what's the next paper view for Bindor?
• 18:05
  [SPEAKER_01]: Go for Bindor.
• 18:06
  [SPEAKER_00]: So maybe maybe a
• 18:09
[SPEAKER_01]: Edmund Edmund, I don't know who the new Japan champion is knockout bros, I think, who a pretty popular right now.
• 18:15
[SPEAKER_00]: Okay, so Edmund Christian, System, sure.
• 18:17
  [SPEAKER_01]: Let's do it.
• 18:19
[SPEAKER_01]: I'm not even gonna, I don't know who the knockout bros are one of them.
• 18:22
[SPEAKER_00]: Joe Rally one of them schooled Oscar.
• 18:24
  [SPEAKER_00]: I know that Oscar.
• 18:26
[SPEAKER_00]: And what's the other one?
• 18:27
  [SPEAKER_00]: Oh, you're testing me.
• 18:28
  [SPEAKER_01]: I don't know.
• 18:29
[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know who those people are.
• 18:32
[SPEAKER_00]: I follow an afternoon and you can be lying to me right now, but not the old bros. Is that you to ice guy, is he the other one?
• 18:37
  [SPEAKER_00]: You've got your phone.
• 18:38
[SPEAKER_00]: You can let us up right now.
• 18:40
[SPEAKER_01]: No, I took some notes from my favorite booth.
• 18:42
  [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I don't know.
• 18:43
  [SPEAKER_00]: I don't know.
• 18:45
[SPEAKER_00]: I'm raw dogging this review.
• 18:46
  [SPEAKER_00]: Like, no notes.
• 18:48
[SPEAKER_00]: Like the show, no coffee.
• 18:49
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, we didn't have coffee.
• 18:52
[SPEAKER_00]: And we're just, we're just, yeah, you can remember what happened next.
• 18:55
[SPEAKER_01]: So I have to go right now.
• 18:57
[SPEAKER_01]: Well, I'll tell you what happened next.
• 18:59
[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, Kada, to Kesh, there we go.
• 19:01
[SPEAKER_01]: Yes, because each go, Kada versus Kenosuke to Kesh for the, what, what belt is this of like, through your international, the international championship.
• 19:10
[SPEAKER_01]: So this feud has been boiling and bubbling under the surface of so long.
• 19:15
[SPEAKER_01]: I like the first time that we saw them wrestle, but it unfortunately had that like fucking screwdriver finish Which I think took away from the match, but you kind of knew that was where they were going Whereas this one is there's like one on one for the title and I've been loving the story of them We were at Vancouver with tag match of the books that was some great compelling story stuff But these are two of the best wrestlers, so I can't wait to see them fight and in this giant tennis stadium
• 19:41
[SPEAKER_01]: As soon as the bell rang, like everyone started cheering and going crazy, and it's like two gladiators fighting and this, you know, echoing and roaring crowd.
• 19:48
[SPEAKER_01]: And this is, I got my money is worth going to this match.
• 19:51
[SPEAKER_01]: This was the match I was looking forward to the most, and it totally delivered.
• 19:56
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, there were a lot of good matches on this show.
• 19:59
[SPEAKER_00]: Might or be my match the night?
• 20:00
[SPEAKER_00]: I think I've got to revisit a lot of these, because it was Bangorov to Bangorov to Bangorov.
• 20:06
[SPEAKER_00]: The build I was enjoying, and then in recent months, I felt it kind of lost it.
• 20:12
[SPEAKER_00]: Once they announced it, too, at that time.
• 20:14
  [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
• 20:14
[SPEAKER_00]: lost its steam, lost its sizzle a bit, and I think of Carter has been a little hit miss in his A-W-Run, where we don't always see the rainmaker, and so it was a little like, as we've seen the match already in the tournament as well, I wasn't
• 20:32
[SPEAKER_00]: I was hoping not to be disappointed with this, and I wasn't.
• 20:35
[SPEAKER_00]: I thought this was great.
• 20:36
[SPEAKER_00]: I thought some of the counts of sequences were awesome, and we called the Raymaker into the blue thunder problem.
• 20:43
[SPEAKER_00]: But some other really inventive counters in this match, and yeah, and I was surprised.
• 20:50
[SPEAKER_00]: I didn't have to catch the winning this one.
• 20:53
[SPEAKER_01]: No, no, my heart said to catch the, but I was definitely thinking
• 20:57
[SPEAKER_01]: you got to drag this out.
• 20:58
[SPEAKER_01]: You got to do this thing where you just cannot get this guy and I think there is some more to the story.
• 21:04
[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, obviously with the post match, but at one point, Ocada went to do something to him and Don call us on commentary was like, hey, don't do that.
• 21:11
[SPEAKER_01]: And Ocada listened and then went to cash to went to do something to him.
• 21:15
[SPEAKER_01]: Don's like, hey, don't do that and Ocada flip them off and then get it.
• 21:20
[SPEAKER_01]: And then later in the match one, so maybe there's something there like, well, I'm not listening anymore.
• 21:24
  [SPEAKER_01]: Don is obviously
• 21:26
[SPEAKER_01]: to beat him up after.
• 21:27
[SPEAKER_01]: But, oh, God, it could be like, hey, Don, actually you costed me that much, because I listened to you.
• 21:34
  [SPEAKER_00]: So with, uh,
• 21:37
[SPEAKER_00]: So Kyle Fletcher comes back after the match.
• 21:40
  [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
• 21:40
[SPEAKER_00]: Celebrate to Keshe's win gives him a big hug.
• 21:42
[SPEAKER_00]: And then did he kick him in the dick?
• 21:45
  [SPEAKER_00]: I think he like a re-made.
• 21:47
  [SPEAKER_00]: He goes like him.
• 21:47
  [SPEAKER_01]: That's right.
• 21:48
[SPEAKER_01]: I just expect dick kicks in these matches.
• 21:52
  [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
• 21:53
  [SPEAKER_01]: That was a great.
• 21:54
[SPEAKER_00]: I think we may be back on course, too.
• 21:57
[SPEAKER_00]: what I predicted a while ago that all in could be a triple threat match between to Kester, Okada and Fletcher.
• 22:04
[SPEAKER_00]: Now, to Kester seems to be out of the group, after this, Okada is the like the top dog in the Don Carlos family, but has suffered this loss now.
• 22:16
[SPEAKER_00]: So now do you see, you mentioned kind of the
• 22:25
[SPEAKER_00]: could we see now Fletcher being the number one, the ace of the Doncales family, where he's overtaken Ocada because Ocada is blaming Calas for the loss, but Calas is also like out, you lost it to Keshda, you're not the top dog anymore, and that could lead to this.
• 22:43
[SPEAKER_00]: three way where you still have Fletcher and O'Card are both as heels, but they have beef with each other.
• 22:49
[SPEAKER_00]: And then they're both chasing Takeshton now at this point.
• 22:52
[SPEAKER_01]: Like, I'm just assuming now again, we're not.
• 22:54
[SPEAKER_01]: We have not checked out any of the presser.
• 22:56
[SPEAKER_01]: We literally left the venue, gotten an Uber and clicked record as we got here.
• 22:59
[SPEAKER_01]: So his Fletcher back, like considering he did some physical stuff.
• 23:03
[SPEAKER_00]: He must be doing some physicality, but we have seen in a UW that doesn't necessarily mean you to lead.
• 23:10
[SPEAKER_01]: And I think that the triple threat sounds amazing, but I do think it's Fletcher versus to catch that all and like the one on like that's a match.
• 23:18
[SPEAKER_01]: Not see all in that's a match.
• 23:19
[SPEAKER_01]: That's that's that's not my alley like that sounds.
• 23:21
[SPEAKER_00]: Can we hold that off three months like you've done the yeah angle, unless Fletcher isn't ready and he's off TV for a little bit.
• 23:29
[SPEAKER_00]: I see them going to it soon.
• 23:31
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, maybe we go to it like next favor.
• 23:33
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, two people if you're like, I don't know.
• 23:35
[SPEAKER_01]: But that is the match that could.
• 23:36
[SPEAKER_01]: Like that's setting off all of my alarms of like that's the one I want a lot so bad Fletcher versus to catch to like yeah, I love this match.
• 23:44
[SPEAKER_01]: This was my match of the night As soon as it ended I was like every one in the it was like a big dopamine hit everyone the crowd was going mental and then it ended and everyone was like
• 23:53
[SPEAKER_01]: cheering for it to cast.
• 23:54
[SPEAKER_00]: There are a few matches on this on this show where I love when the, I love when you get the standing of action from the crowd, but when you just orderbly hear the noise turn up a few decibels.
• 24:06
  [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
• 24:07
  [SPEAKER_00]: And it's not
• 24:09
[SPEAKER_00]: this is awesome chance or fight forever.
• 24:11
  [SPEAKER_00]: It's just loud screaming.
• 24:14
[SPEAKER_00]: Everyone doing their own chance in different pockets.
• 24:16
[SPEAKER_00]: And this match had that where it just hadn't had that sudden, holy shit.
• 24:21
[SPEAKER_00]: We were watching something really good.
• 24:22
  [SPEAKER_00]: I know that.
• 24:23
[SPEAKER_01]: Everyone was locked in and dialed in while watching this match.
• 24:27
[SPEAKER_01]: And that also added to the fact of
• 24:29
[SPEAKER_01]: We know it was epic already, but like it got to like if you watched and it was like a a weaker crowd that maybe wasn't as interested like it was still an amazing match, but you'd be like, oh, that was good, but where do you add this like roaring audience it add something to it, but
• 24:45
[SPEAKER_01]: I absolutely love this to catch with some of those crazy soup lexas.
• 24:49
[SPEAKER_01]: Ocada was doing some, he stepped it up and he brought it as hell.
• 24:52
[SPEAKER_01]: So yeah, no, I totally delivered from me and I need to rewatch it back.
• 24:57
[SPEAKER_01]: You know, when you watch a match, so good, you're like, I just want to rewatch it now.
• 25:00
[SPEAKER_01]: That's how I filmed about this one for sure.
• 25:02
[SPEAKER_01]: And then like the cherry on top is you know sometimes we said like a little thing that even adds more to it, which was already a perfect match But the angle after like genuinely I was like oh my oh, Ty was Cal's turning on now I thought that he would come in and cost him the match, but instead they got me The music hit they already were celebrating everyone hug and then he turned on him like oh, that's some good shit So Kyle you broke my heart rest in peace go on one out for protochita
• 25:32
  [SPEAKER_00]: Protoshida.
• 25:33
  [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
• 25:33
  [SPEAKER_00]: Protoshida.
• 25:34
[SPEAKER_00]: Apparently they use my tweet on the show.
• 25:36
[SPEAKER_00]: No, you guys could be your famous.
• 25:38
  [SPEAKER_01]: Look at that.
• 25:39
[SPEAKER_01]: The Brady, give me a follow.
• 25:40
[SPEAKER_00]: Five Frank in the chat saying, LOL, we just finally found our way to the street and got a new butt leaving the stadium was a nightmare that closed off a lot of the streets.
• 25:48
  [SPEAKER_00]: Wow, you've just left.
• 25:50
  [SPEAKER_00]: We came home.
• 25:51
  [SPEAKER_00]: We've had a shower.
• 25:52
[SPEAKER_00]: We've part way through the show already Frank, come on.
• 25:56
[SPEAKER_00]: You've got to learn how to weave through these crowds
• 25:59
[SPEAKER_01]: No, it wasn't saying I understand, I can completely understand.
• 26:01
[SPEAKER_01]: We lucked out by getting out.
• 26:04
[SPEAKER_01]: I hope you're all right there, Frank.
• 26:05
[SPEAKER_01]: It was nice to see you.
• 26:06
[SPEAKER_01]: Honestly, that was that was my highlight of the show.
• 26:08
[SPEAKER_01]: I could have just done all right.
• 26:09
  [SPEAKER_01]: Time to go home.
• 26:10
[SPEAKER_01]: Go back to the Canada now.
• 26:11
[SPEAKER_00]: So what did we get next?
• 26:13
[SPEAKER_01]: Well, I have some notes here.
• 26:15
[SPEAKER_01]: And apparently what was next was Athena versus Mina.
• 26:20
  [SPEAKER_00]: Right, yes.
• 26:23
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I thought we might be getting the the wild card match added to this show, because it was originally meant to be Alex Windsor and Willow on this show.
• 26:33
  [SPEAKER_00]: That hasn't happened.
• 26:35
  [SPEAKER_00]: I don't know.
• 26:36
[SPEAKER_00]: I was expecting a big Mercedes return on this show, but maybe that's not happening.
• 26:41
[SPEAKER_00]: But we got Meena and Athena.
• 26:44
[SPEAKER_00]: kind of, this was one of the colder matches of the show, Athena is great, but she's, she has like one match a season in it, I mean, he debuted, right?
• 26:56
[SPEAKER_01]: Like, she doesn't even go here.
• 26:57
  [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, exactly.
• 26:58
  [SPEAKER_00]: She's ring of honor.
• 27:00
[SPEAKER_00]: But I think she is one of the top contenders to at least be in the finals of this tournament.
• 27:06
[SPEAKER_00]: meaner everyone loves it can't see her getting the win.
• 27:08
[SPEAKER_00]: So I thought this was the least interested of a match I was on this show unfortunately.
• 27:14
[SPEAKER_00]: Not say it wasn't bad, but wasn't overly memorable either in one of these long 13 match shows.
• 27:22
[SPEAKER_01]: Again, this was a fine match.
• 27:24
[SPEAKER_01]: It wasn't bad by any any standard at all.
• 27:27
[SPEAKER_01]: I just think if if you
• 27:29
[SPEAKER_00]: If you're having these shows go all this long and everything like this is the match that you could just promote for When it's difficult though right like it's I you're going to get the argument Wait you've got 13 matches on the show and only two three women's matches you're always going to get that but the problem is the
• 27:47
[SPEAKER_00]: uh, all the women's matches in this tournament are cold, whereas at least the men's, which I'm too minds about, because it seems very convenient that Osprey and Joe's happened to be feuding and have a oinkop match.
• 28:00
[SPEAKER_00]: Same with Swerv and Bandido, but at least there's some, like,
• 28:05
[SPEAKER_00]: drama and tension going into it.
• 28:07
[SPEAKER_00]: This meaner and Athena match completely cold, and I don't think anyone buys either actually winning this whole tournament anyway, firing all these injuries and things were getting, but yeah, unfortunately the the women's division A, A, W, they have a great midcard, but it's that.
• 28:24
[SPEAKER_00]: that top of cart, they don't have the stars at the without Tony and Mercedes.
• 28:28
[SPEAKER_00]: About Tony Mercedes, Tecler is doing great and she's carrying the division right now, but she's got no dance partners really right now who are viable and have that kind of star power that is lacking in the women.
• 28:43
  [SPEAKER_01]: Absolutely.
• 28:43
[SPEAKER_01]: This was the one match.
• 28:45
[SPEAKER_01]: Again, was not about matches.
• 28:46
[SPEAKER_01]: It's like, okay, does this
• 28:48
[SPEAKER_01]: this one have and there's no story to this.
• 28:50
[SPEAKER_01]: A theme is a character who's not on TV.
• 28:52
[SPEAKER_01]: So like, yeah, just listening to someone trying to go into these shows, you always see you know, these people who maybe bring, you know, their friends or their girlfriends or something like that.
• 29:03
[SPEAKER_01]: And at this point, someone was trying to describe the situation as a couple near us.
• 29:09
[SPEAKER_01]: And he was like, okay, so for this one, and then I could tell the gears in his brain were like,
• 29:14
[SPEAKER_01]: Fuck, actually, this one doesn't make any sense.
• 29:16
[SPEAKER_00]: It's on, yeah, whoever wins, he's like the semi.
• 29:19
[SPEAKER_01]: She's like, so what's this girl is, he's like, actually, she's not even on the show really, usually.
• 29:23
[SPEAKER_00]: I like that's hilarious, because if a tree falls in the woods, it's still ring a boner champion, I don't know.
• 29:29
[SPEAKER_00]: We did have to move though, like his explaining everything.
• 29:32
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I think a bit, like they were right next to me, and it was, you know, that's a super flag.
• 29:38
[SPEAKER_00]: It's like, oh my god, it's like, oh my god, oh my god, it's a commentary for it.
• 29:42
[SPEAKER_00]: So Athena wins with the O face the cloud reacted.
• 29:45
  [SPEAKER_00]: That look great.
• 29:45
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, looks I just don't know what the name means But because it's like everyone looks shocked when they're about to take it like everyone usually go.
• 29:53
[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, okay, right like an O face right.
• 29:55
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, but what did she call in WWE?
• 30:09
[SPEAKER_01]: So Athena wins that, and then we went to the international title, the Intercontinental.
• 30:17
[SPEAKER_00]: We had to, no, the continents, which I'm talking about.
• 30:19
  [SPEAKER_00]: Kyle V. Mox.
• 30:21
[SPEAKER_01]: Yes, Kyle O'Reilly, John Moxley.
• 30:24
[SPEAKER_01]: This was a rematch, and we've seen them go back and forth quite a few times.
• 30:27
[SPEAKER_01]: Obviously, Kyle tapping him out with that whole story.
• 30:30
[SPEAKER_01]: I thought this was great.
• 30:31
[SPEAKER_01]: There was just two dudes going out with lots of submissions and strikes.
• 30:34
[SPEAKER_01]: It was a lot of fun.
• 30:36
[SPEAKER_00]: Tony Khan credit for the booking of John Moxley recently and all of that is like Moxley's performances are fucking excellent I think but we had the unfortunate situation twice where Moxley's feuding with someone as a heel as like death riders you know champion Moxley the pure evil heel
• 31:06
[SPEAKER_00]: and during that time, Moxie becomes a baby face.
• 31:09
[SPEAKER_00]: Same thing with Kyle, like they were telling this story with Kyle repeatedly tapping out, yeah, moxley, and Kyle's at like the peak he's beaten Mox twice.
• 31:19
[SPEAKER_00]: and then gets injured and goes away.
• 31:21
[SPEAKER_00]: And Moxink becomes a baby face.
• 31:23
[SPEAKER_00]: Now, last time this happened was that Adam Cole MGF feud.
• 31:30
[SPEAKER_00]: Where Adam Cole was the heel and left as a heel, but came back as a baby face.
• 31:34
[SPEAKER_00]: Now MGF was a, and we didn't care for the match at that point because it, none of it made sense.
• 31:40
[SPEAKER_00]: They were both in different positions.
• 31:42
[SPEAKER_00]: And it just, it was bad.
• 31:44
[SPEAKER_00]: There was this, they've managed to explain Moxie's character so well, where he's, yes, he is that guy, but was always doing those things to like push people and him being like Carl Riley being like, I've got the trio's championship, but I've got loose ends to tie up.
• 32:02
[SPEAKER_00]: It makes sense that he'd want to wait, the guy being twice is a champion now, like I need to get that from him, and Mox,
• 32:10
[SPEAKER_00]: has had this like monkey on his back who he just can't be in Kylo Riley.
• 32:15
[SPEAKER_00]: So I thought it all worked really well and this match was one that maybe I wasn't as excited about going in, but every time they've gone out of it, it's been excellent.
• 32:26
[SPEAKER_00]: Kylo Riley, I think people forget how good he is.
• 32:29
[SPEAKER_00]: And I thought just compared to the other matches on the show, this was very unique
• 32:38
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, no, I've been loving this stuff with John Moxley and the Death Riders and even the Willaw Spray stuff and I do think it that's leading to Moxley, Osprey one on one like one more time before we get to Like all in eventually we got it like maybe I guess Moxley is not in the oh and is he but somehow we got to get back to that match or something but the stuff with Kyle has been like organic a little bit and everyone seems to like Kyle Riley like you just
• 33:02
[SPEAKER_01]: that guy but he's he puts on good matches so there's styles mesh really well together like doing like the the semesters like pancreas fighters.
• 33:10
[SPEAKER_00]: You know it like folks he gets off on that.
• 33:12
  [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, they both do.
• 33:13
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, they do gel together really well.
• 33:16
[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know where Kyle goes from here.
• 33:18
  [SPEAKER_01]: Oh, he's a he's a he's a he's a he's a he's a he's a he's a he's a he's a he's a he's a he's a he's a he's a he's a he's a he's a he's a he's a he's a he's a he's a he's a he's a he's a he's a he's a he's a he's a he's a he's a he's a he's a he's a he's a he's a he's a he's a he's a he's a he's a he's a he's a he's a he's a he's a he's a he's a he
• 33:29
[SPEAKER_00]: I think he's someone you can, I don't see him being a world champion or anything like that, but he can flood in that scene.
• 33:36
  [SPEAKER_00]: Sure.
• 33:37
  [SPEAKER_00]: Especially with Choke.
• 33:38
  [SPEAKER_00]: It's like this.
• 33:39
  [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
• 33:40
[SPEAKER_01]: With some of the highlights that we've seen in AEW since he's come in, like Tony has put him in some cool spots and he's proven every time.
• 33:47
[SPEAKER_01]: So I mean, we were there in Vancouver and him winning some gold finally.
• 33:51
[SPEAKER_01]: He was like, oh man, like we followed him through NXT and all the ups and downs and everything.
• 33:59
[SPEAKER_01]: champions with Orange Cassidy is.
• 34:01
[SPEAKER_01]: So he's come a little full circle as well and it's great to see.
• 34:05
[SPEAKER_01]: So that was, that was a kind of fun.
• 34:07
  [SPEAKER_01]: What happened next?
• 34:08
[SPEAKER_01]: So we went from that and then our friend Sino Ebel who was there with his son was like, hey, there's a few epic empty seats near me.
• 34:17
[SPEAKER_01]: Why you guys just come sit next to me.
• 34:18
[SPEAKER_01]: So we got to sit with Sino and move a little closer and that's
• 34:29
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I dream match never, never happened before.
• 34:33
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I know this was on what Will's been saying.
• 34:35
[SPEAKER_01]: It's been one of his like bucket list.
• 34:37
[SPEAKER_01]: Well, he's obsessed with like the all five TNA era as and I, but he's he's always talked about his pre shape for AJ, obviously, but Samoa Joe and the Daniels, the Daniels match, the triple threat.
• 34:48
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, we talked about a bunch.
• 34:49
[SPEAKER_01]: And this is I think was on his list, like a dream match.
• 34:52
  [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, for him personally.
• 34:54
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I thought this was really good.
• 34:56
[SPEAKER_00]: I thought it this one took a bit of time for me to like, really get into.
• 35:01
[SPEAKER_00]: I was enjoying it, but like the final stretch of this match.
• 35:04
[SPEAKER_00]: I thought it was awesome.
• 35:06
[SPEAKER_00]: I know what spray does the style's clash all the time, but having him hit it on joke was pretty.
• 35:11
  [SPEAKER_01]: There's a few reasons for that.
• 35:12
  [SPEAKER_01]: Okay, hey, it's like a joke.
• 35:14
  [SPEAKER_00]: Just a few.
• 35:15
[SPEAKER_00]: Jen, it's hard to get some food.
• 35:16
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, but be, yeah, TNA.
• 35:18
  [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, yeah.
• 35:19
[SPEAKER_01]: I guess I think audibly everyone put their hands over their mouth like is he can he do it on him and there's a split second where it looks like he almost drops him But then like hits it and that was a crazy spot from Osprey who you know I think since coming back I think it was in his promo last week where he's like yeah, I have like lost a little muscle.
• 35:38
[SPEAKER_01]: I have to get this back.
• 35:39
[SPEAKER_00]: I'm a little smaller blah blah But a little smaller you just picked up some mollard.
• 35:43
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, so well done lad.
• 35:45
  [SPEAKER_00]: That was
• 35:46
[SPEAKER_01]: that was pretty impressive, but this match was this was a weird one, like their styles are so different in Joe, obviously he's a lot older, a little slower, but I thought Joe put on his working boots today.
• 35:56
  [SPEAKER_01]: He's like,
• 36:03
[SPEAKER_00]: I think he's very believable as just a tough SOB.
• 36:08
[SPEAKER_00]: And can still be a great base.
• 36:09
[SPEAKER_00]: Like I love, like just little things he always does, but that we're not in the corner, always looks awesome and Osprey floating into it, just look great.
• 36:19
[SPEAKER_00]: I would have liked more of Osprey showing in his style in this match and like the Ace Austen TV match, more death riders influence.
• 36:33
[SPEAKER_00]: There's like the cross arm breaker he's doing, but apart from that, it still feels very willowspray, which willowspray's great.
• 36:41
  [SPEAKER_00]: Don't get me wrong.
• 36:42
[SPEAKER_00]: I'm not saying completely mute his style because he's spectacular, but for the sake of the story, I'd have liked to have seen him maybe do, you know, the hand trapped stunts on the neck, the hammer and an envelopes, like more submissions, more striking, just more things that seem like he's been training
• 37:03
[SPEAKER_01]: I I know what you mean because that's been the story, but I think as a fan like if you go if you you you you You watch the show whatever and then you buy a ticket to go watch Will Osprey and then he's like now not doing all that I'm going to do some arm bars.
• 37:16
[SPEAKER_00]: I'm like come on You can still do a sky twist to press.
• 37:19
[SPEAKER_01]: I want to see him do.
• 37:20
  [SPEAKER_01]: I don't want to I don't I would say I don't like the like
• 37:23
[SPEAKER_01]: The changes, but he hasn't really changed anything.
• 37:25
[SPEAKER_01]: So I still think he's fucking great because all these added is some arm bars and I'm like, that's fine.
• 37:30
[SPEAKER_01]: He didn't even use it to win tonight.
• 37:32
  [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, so that's okay.
• 37:34
[SPEAKER_01]: But like, I know what you mean.
• 37:36
[SPEAKER_01]: It's like, hey, the story is you're not being Osprey or the ego death.
• 37:41
[SPEAKER_01]: Like, it's just ground up, Mark just teaching you the ways and this is the new way.
• 37:46
[SPEAKER_01]: And instead of that, it's like, well, I can still do like.
• 37:52
[SPEAKER_00]: I guess not sure if both, yeah, you could do it a little twist in the air and then catch their hands and Yeah, yeah, exactly.
• 38:02
[SPEAKER_01]: This was a really cool match because like I've watched these guys and so many different
• 38:06
[SPEAKER_01]: companies and aspects of different times and stuff and then to finally see them wrestle.
• 38:10
  [SPEAKER_01]: It was pretty cool.
• 38:11
[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know if it was my, it definitely wasn't my match in the night, but I still really got it.
• 38:15
[SPEAKER_00]: It was still a hell of a run of matches like on this, on the first half of this show with this, the Takeshiro card a match, the opening tag and like there were some hot matches.
• 38:26
[SPEAKER_01]: He didn't tap out the Simone submission machine, but he would hit him with like two hidden
• 38:34
[SPEAKER_01]: Why do you need to do an arm bar when you have that and yes, that people in the face with your elbow.
• 38:40
  [SPEAKER_01]: That was pretty cool.
• 38:40
  [SPEAKER_01]: Great match.
• 38:42
[SPEAKER_01]: We went from that Owen Hart tournament to the next one.
• 38:45
[SPEAKER_01]: Bandito versus Swarve Strickland and another great match.
• 38:51
[SPEAKER_01]: You said like this run, this whole paper view is just bangers, bangers and almost like you're like,
• 38:59
  [SPEAKER_01]: Where's the ads?
• 38:59
[SPEAKER_00]: Where's the six minute ad breaks?
• 39:01
  [SPEAKER_00]: I missed them.
• 39:02
  [SPEAKER_00]: I don't kidding.
• 39:03
[SPEAKER_01]: I do not another bang.
• 39:05
[SPEAKER_01]: I was looking forward to this one a lot.
• 39:07
[SPEAKER_00]: Bandito with a nice big hat.
• 39:08
[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, you know, a nice big hat and like a very nice gold shiny mask.
• 39:12
  [SPEAKER_01]: Yes.
• 39:13
[SPEAKER_01]: That was really nice too.
• 39:14
[SPEAKER_01]: He always looks good and sort of too.
• 39:17
[SPEAKER_01]: There are some insane spots that I couldn't even imagine as a kid coming up with action figures how to be like 20.
• 39:24
[SPEAKER_00]: I hate how you said this so many times.
• 39:26
[SPEAKER_00]: My worry with this match and I was pleased we didn't get it too much is both guys love waiting around while they're opposed to an awkward
• 39:40
[SPEAKER_00]: But there's other things as well, like Swerve has to just do a little forward roll before he hits one of his moves.
• 39:46
[SPEAKER_00]: And sometimes timing is a bit weird because the guys just stood there and Swerve's like, ah, now I'm going to do a rolly probably before I hit a flat line.
• 39:56
[SPEAKER_00]: And certainly the 21plex, there's always that waiting around.
• 40:00
[SPEAKER_00]: I feel these guys worked at such a speed where
• 40:04
[SPEAKER_00]: those spots didn't fill us contrived, as they sometimes do, and some of the counters they had.
• 40:11
  [SPEAKER_00]: I love that 21 p.m. off the mat.
• 40:14
[SPEAKER_00]: I think that looks good.
• 40:15
[SPEAKER_00]: Since doing that, it's the new version.
• 40:17
  [SPEAKER_00]: It's the better version.
• 40:19
[SPEAKER_00]: But then we had the proper version counted into the vertebraicur.
• 40:26
[SPEAKER_01]: the spot where he like got up on his shoulders.
• 40:30
[SPEAKER_01]: But it's worth got up on in Bandito's shoulders and I'll turn it into he's doing it.
• 40:35
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, like not sat on his shoulders.
• 40:37
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, stood on his shoulders and did this leap like house cool.
• 40:41
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, yeah, yeah, similar we've seen that new girl on NXT Lizzy.
• 40:46
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, kind of the step up, but this
• 40:48
  [SPEAKER_00]: standing on his shoulders.
• 40:49
[SPEAKER_00]: See, on his shoulders, hit this move.
• 40:51
  [SPEAKER_01]: It was crazy.
• 40:52
  [SPEAKER_01]: The crazy poison runner.
• 40:54
[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, best moving wrestling obviously.
• 40:56
[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, that was like off the apron to the floor.
• 40:58
  [SPEAKER_01]: That was nuts.
• 40:59
[SPEAKER_01]: But then it was, it was like this.
• 41:03
  [SPEAKER_01]: was it?
• 41:04
[SPEAKER_01]: He went for a code red and then it was turned into like a spike runner.
• 41:09
  [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
• 41:10
[SPEAKER_01]: And I like jumped out of my seals.
• 41:12
[SPEAKER_01]: Oh my god, what the hell was that?
• 41:13
[SPEAKER_01]: So these guys, again, some of these moves I couldn't even imagine how they come up with, but they both of these guys are creative in that way and they they batch each other's free.
• 41:21
[SPEAKER_00]: I think I preferred this to the Yospray Joe match.
• 41:23
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I think so too.
• 41:25
[SPEAKER_00]: This was really up there.
• 41:26
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, this is definitely one I'd like to
• 41:33
[SPEAKER_00]: AW spoiled for all these wrestlers like A, like a bandido who were up the midcard but put you give you main event level performances all the time and there's just such in the men's visions such high quality and the amount of stars there that a bandido may never be AW World Champion but he's someone like an O'Reilly that you can have
• 42:00
[SPEAKER_00]: and matches with main eventors all the time, and one day they might get their brain, but he's so valuable to this roster, and I feel like he, you know, was unfortunate with some injuries and things and then being hidden way in our OH, and I'm so glad they've been using him.
• 42:17
  [SPEAKER_00]: regularly now.
• 42:18
[SPEAKER_00]: He's been on all these paper views.
• 42:20
[SPEAKER_01]: And he crushes it every time.
• 42:21
[SPEAKER_01]: And like this is this was an awesome match.
• 42:24
[SPEAKER_01]: And I would love to see a rematch down the line.
• 42:26
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I wonder if when Swerve is eventually knocked out of this tournament, whether that probably the final after Fitbit and Door, whether we revisit.
• 42:35
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I would really like to run this back.
• 42:37
[SPEAKER_01]: Like again, I think some of the creative stuff that they would do in a match, they're going to take it to like a next level kind of thing, right?
• 42:44
[SPEAKER_01]: I do wonder where we go with the Brody,
• 42:47
[SPEAKER_01]: thing with Swerve is Brody, you know, we had some turns tonight in friendships, break up, but I don't know if we could, my heart can handle another one, but Bandito'd be careful or Brody, but I don't see Bandito turning you.
• 43:00
[SPEAKER_00]: Brody's such a great baby face as well.
• 43:02
[SPEAKER_00]: And no, so popular right now.
• 43:03
[SPEAKER_01]: So don't do it, maybe, don't do it.
• 43:04
  [SPEAKER_00]: Eventually, yeah.
• 43:06
  [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
• 43:07
  [SPEAKER_01]: This match was great.
• 43:08
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, it was the code red and then he flipped it backwards into like a ranna and I was like that I've never said that that's just mental the things these guys can do.
• 43:17
[SPEAKER_01]: So awesome match and this the run of matches just kept going We went from that.
• 43:21
  [SPEAKER_01]: So swear wins.
• 43:22
[SPEAKER_01]: He's gone into the finals or he's gonna send me brody.
• 43:25
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, like likely brody in the sem we imagine
• 43:28
[SPEAKER_01]: uh... we went from that to the women's fatal for way match the champ tecla defending against statlander uh... we had who we haven't as much and how to sheeta and jamey had yes jamey are all like kind of past like rung champ yeah exactly uh... this was really fun there's like all these crazy spots with all four kind of going at it i got a shout out tecla who obviously is the toxic spider but the spider superics and i'm like the spider walk and then i think at one point statlander like
• 43:57
[SPEAKER_00]: ticked her up while she was in a picture up into it's like trying to go a Sunday night for you.
• 44:02
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, there was some cool stuff.
• 44:03
[SPEAKER_01]: They're teasing the like she doesn't stop our friends, but tonight it's not a friendly match.
• 44:08
[SPEAKER_01]: That kind of overplayed but it it made sense when we kind of got deeper into the match.
• 44:13
[SPEAKER_00]: I yeah, you had them both take each other out and then she'd are coming in with a kendo stick where had a lot of booze and I I'm not sure if we were meant to take it as the
• 44:26
  [SPEAKER_00]: end of this.
• 44:27
[SPEAKER_00]: No, heart and a ship, because the booze were loud for Shida here, or whether it's just our in a match with each other.
• 44:34
[SPEAKER_01]: But in a match, it's already like, and rather than the in a match against you, and it's for the titles, so like, come on.
• 44:40
[SPEAKER_00]: I think Shida's acting has been pretty poor in this thing, which it's making me, I'm finding it quite funny in not the right way these segments.
• 44:48
  [SPEAKER_00]: And
• 44:49
[SPEAKER_00]: That carried through a little bit in this match and same comments like had early with the O iner I just think it's Tecler doesn't have those opponents right now.
• 44:58
  [SPEAKER_00]: This was really fun.
• 44:58
[SPEAKER_00]: This was a really fun match.
• 45:00
[SPEAKER_00]: It was the best use.
• 45:00
  [SPEAKER_00]: I just don't think anyone but no one's always 81.
• 45:03
[SPEAKER_00]: I mean sorry Tecler was losing No one bought anyone else winning this match and now you've gone Okay, well you've done these you can't go to the well with these again.
• 45:12
[SPEAKER_00]: I mean I guess we're lucky for good and doors next because you can do a
• 45:16
  [SPEAKER_00]: into promotional match, spectacular.
• 45:19
[SPEAKER_00]: But yeah, I'd like to see her in a a proper feud with a bit more depth to it than just the dumb bitch's stuff is great, but I want a little bit more depth to a few.
• 45:31
[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, so I had a predicament here, so during this match there was a section near us where there was like a big group of guys hanging together and they all were really trying to get
• 45:41
[SPEAKER_01]: three dumb bitches over and then like myself and a few people were like oh that's why so we kind of join in and then I did it one time and my the words left my mouth I went three dumb bitches.
• 45:53
[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, that's a terrible thing to Jen.
• 45:54
[SPEAKER_00]: I'm going to stop doing that.
• 45:56
[SPEAKER_00]: I always find it funny looking around at like security with things like that because one of these
• 46:03
[SPEAKER_00]: If you're one guy on your own, yelling three dumb bitches or banged your mother.
• 46:09
  [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
• 46:10
[SPEAKER_00]: As security, you probably go over and be like, yeah, guy fell.
• 46:13
[SPEAKER_00]: I can't doubt that you, the kids here.
• 46:15
[SPEAKER_00]: Like, but when there's a whole sea of people seeing it, banged your mother, it's like, oh, this is clearly a part of the show, right?
• 46:24
[SPEAKER_00]: you know like chonding three dumb bitches is part of the show right like it's it's if they've said it you have the permission in a way that these guys it died off yeah but then later in the match I heard a different section like across from us like doing it and the same thing it died really quick it's just yeah imagine your security or like your friend you got dragged to this show or something and then you just
• 46:45
[SPEAKER_01]: here a bunch of men yelling again yelling at these women three dumb bitches and first of all you're like why are you calling these women bitches and wait there's four of them in the right now why are you three in the dumb three in the middle uh so somehow uh I mean techlet never stop calling people dumb bitches I don't love that so much when's the shirt lacking on that they didn't sell that tonight but uh uh exactly how do you even put that on a shirt
• 47:14
[SPEAKER_00]: It's really sell, we'll do that like, I'm with Dumbit.
• 47:18
  [SPEAKER_01]: I don't think that's all my God.
• 47:21
  [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I guess we'll see.
• 47:23
  [SPEAKER_01]: I thought we'll work on that.
• 47:24
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, well, they should, it's there.
• 47:26
[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, we can sell it too, but I don't know if people would buy, I'm a dumb bitch or whatever, but briefly, we did take a look at merch.
• 47:34
[SPEAKER_01]: They had a lot of merch stands.
• 47:35
[SPEAKER_01]: They even had a merch stand like outside the venue, and more of a shop, like actual shop, like AW shop,
• 47:43
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, as we mentioned, we were like late getting in and not a whole lot of time to look at the merch properly, but I felt they had more than usual.
• 47:56
[SPEAKER_00]: I felt they had more variation of wrestlers and things like that, whereas often it's just, man, I remember one show, it was just.
• 48:07
[SPEAKER_00]: Adam Cole and Dan Housing, and that's all they were selling punctures after he left as well.
• 48:16
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, all like the AEWI was here or whatever.
• 48:19
[SPEAKER_00]: I did feel the actual designs looked.
• 48:23
[SPEAKER_00]: better this time and and they yeah had a few more variations.
• 48:29
[SPEAKER_00]: I think the we saw and I mean we heard in the main event how popular Derby is right now.
• 48:35
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, but because his hoodie that he sells is pink so there's a hoodie that he wears he stands out in the crowd and could see a lot of people in this world.
• 48:43
[SPEAKER_01]: That was easily the hardest
• 48:46
[SPEAKER_00]: how many people didn't realize that this venue is kind of outside and it was called a cold day for me and did bring a jacket or whatever.
• 48:55
[SPEAKER_00]: So just oh shit I'll just buy the Darby Allen hoodie.
• 48:58
  [SPEAKER_00]: It was they were.
• 48:58
[SPEAKER_01]: It was the I was saw the most people wearing that like the pink Darby alley it was a zipper hoodie that they saw.
• 49:05
[SPEAKER_01]: They did a two for one double or nothing special.
• 49:08
[SPEAKER_01]: It was like bought by two get one free.
• 49:11
[SPEAKER_01]: So buy any two things and if one of those things
• 49:14
[SPEAKER_01]: No, it's you get a third for you get the third free actually.
• 49:17
[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, so by two get to buy two things to get three so that maybe also people were taking a band to that I guess.
• 49:22
[SPEAKER_01]: Yes, you saw people with a lot of A W stuff like the stands the merch stands were bigger this time and they felt like there was new and different options.
• 49:32
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, that's what fans want you don't just want the same three shirts all the time.
• 49:35
[SPEAKER_01]: No, I thought that they had stepped up their game when it comes to merch again.
• 49:39
[SPEAKER_01]: We go to a lot of these shows with guns since
• 49:41
[SPEAKER_01]: It's AW's been since we were being able to go to these shows and like over the years they have definitely stepped it up in their multiple sounds as well multiple stands different things like different wrestlers like and different type of that I will say I'm not too sure how I feel about the look of those AW NFL masks they look a little
• 50:01
[SPEAKER_01]: Look at the girl cheap, they don't look that good.
• 50:04
[SPEAKER_01]: So that's my one opinion on that, but the rest of the merch came look like it's still cool They got that deal, I guess that's what I'm saying.
• 50:11
[SPEAKER_01]: I'm not an NFL person, but like you see people who get like bootleg ones Yeah, and they look better than that I agree so that that was something that kind of was like, oh, that's that's a little weird But I don't I wouldn't buy one and say it's buy one by my anyways, so maybe that makes sense
• 50:29
[SPEAKER_01]: So what do we have next?
• 50:30
[SPEAKER_01]: So we went from that to the women's match and we went to technically retaining to stadium, stamp E. Oh, very crazy match.
• 50:41
[SPEAKER_01]: The crowd were eating this one.
• 50:43
[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, the crowd were ready for it.
• 50:45
[SPEAKER_01]: No one sat down throughout the whole match.
• 50:48
[SPEAKER_01]: But since the videos like the videos were playing and that people were kind of like, Oh, what is this?
• 50:52
  [SPEAKER_01]: And
• 50:54
[SPEAKER_01]: the whole match front to back, standing entire stadium.
• 50:58
[SPEAKER_01]: Everyone, that was pretty cool to see that.
• 51:01
[SPEAKER_01]: We had the videos, entrances for the teams, this is like how many people are in this, like 14 on MVP?
• 51:08
[SPEAKER_01]: So technically 15 risks of that.
• 51:11
[SPEAKER_01]: It's technically like 15 people or whatever.
• 51:13
[SPEAKER_01]: And if you include what Miss Lucha,
• 51:17
  [SPEAKER_01]: Sores to miss misses.
• 51:19
[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, yeah, not the miss.
• 51:20
  [SPEAKER_01]: Thank god.
• 51:20
[SPEAKER_00]: Um, yeah, it's just so rest which is so rest.
• 51:23
  [SPEAKER_01]: I like it.
• 51:23
  [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
• 51:24
  [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
• 51:24
  [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
• 51:24
[SPEAKER_01]: Uh, so technically like 16 people involved in this map.
• 51:28
  [SPEAKER_00]: I'm sure there's more 15 and a dinosaur and a car bus.
• 51:32
  [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
• 51:34
[SPEAKER_01]: The crowd are crazy for this one.
• 51:35
  [SPEAKER_01]: What was the okay.
• 51:37
  [SPEAKER_01]: So.
• 51:38
[SPEAKER_01]: the video for like the baby faces Jericho and the elite stuff was it trying to do like reservoir dogs or was it like I got like I got what's the accuser like the the one game it does the
• 51:52
[SPEAKER_01]: Like the graphics the same way again.
• 51:54
[SPEAKER_01]: I haven't necessarily didn't look this up, but I was like, okay, that looks like something I'm familiar with like again, my video games up, but I loved all the suits for those guys Jericho's sparkly suit.
• 52:06
[SPEAKER_01]: The young bucks had like young bucks suits with tassels and everything.
• 52:11
  [SPEAKER_00]: That was pretty clever.
• 52:12
[SPEAKER_01]: Kenny looked like New Japan Kenny with the suit and like the salt and peppery hair extensions, right?
• 52:18
[SPEAKER_00]: So I thought they oh Jack Perry with his waistcoat with the best thing.
• 52:22
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, and obviously the hurt syndicate in suits is the reason why they're all wearing suits.
• 52:27
[SPEAKER_01]: So I just thought that was
• 52:29
[SPEAKER_01]: that was pretty good, but all this crazy stuff in this match, I think because New York, they couldn't get like, you know, in crazy and bloody and stuff, because that's, that's been the thing in New York.
• 52:39
[SPEAKER_01]: But there's the commission thing, but normally I shut up, even WWE get away with it, because they
• 52:45
[SPEAKER_00]: Pay more like I think just this one didn't feel like as violent as maybe some of these other ones Yeah, I mean I are they trying to go for a different I know they call it stadium stampede because it was in a stadium Anarchy and the arena are in arenas, but I think maybe this one were they trying to
• 53:07
[SPEAKER_00]: trying to show that there's a few more differences about the two.
• 53:12
[SPEAKER_00]: Like, Anakin, the arena, I think it's established now that it's always music, you know, that's the trope rule of them.
• 53:19
[SPEAKER_00]: We're a stadium stampede that goes back to pandemic and it's more maybe.
• 53:24
[SPEAKER_00]: pre-recorded stuff and like visual gags of the whole complex.
• 53:30
[SPEAKER_00]: So we had like these introductions which felt very pandemicy in a way.
• 53:36
[SPEAKER_01]: We had to walk again.
• 53:37
[SPEAKER_01]: We had to walk on that like big bridge and some of the videos which I'm assuming maybe they filmed some like yesterday or whatever.
• 53:43
[SPEAKER_01]: They were filmed all around that area.
• 53:45
[SPEAKER_01]: Like the areas we had walked in to get into.
• 53:47
[SPEAKER_01]: So it's like showing the outside areas.
• 53:51
[SPEAKER_01]: I noticed people around us, again, people in the crowd being like, where's the music not like?
• 53:57
[SPEAKER_00]: Why aren't they doing this to think like I heard multiple people say that?
• 54:00
[SPEAKER_01]: So they do need to maybe separate why they, this helps, I guess, do that.
• 54:06
[SPEAKER_01]: But this was pretty cool.
• 54:08
[SPEAKER_01]: There was like beach balls.
• 54:11
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, so I don't know if people bought beach balls or AEW kind of planted these beach balls.
• 54:19
  [SPEAKER_00]: I think I planted.
• 54:20
[SPEAKER_01]: I think they were planted because red is the match started one flew right by us and they seem to come from everywhere.
• 54:26
  [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, as well.
• 54:27
[SPEAKER_00]: And I only noticed one security take one.
• 54:32
[SPEAKER_00]: Everyone else and I saw people in like AEW badges and things kind of like
• 54:40
[SPEAKER_00]: I think there could have been more, I think if they wanted this sort of chaos stampede feel, I think more bulls should have been given out if that was the chaos ones, because I think there are some people, because the bulls came, but they came about around that, like WrestleMania 30.
• 55:02
[SPEAKER_00]: for, I've got say 35 and yeah, it was when people were tired of the product.
• 55:07
[SPEAKER_00]: It's, everyone remembers that high-jacking during the Randy Orton Schaimers match after 29.
• 55:13
[SPEAKER_00]: And it came a few years after that, where people were just fed up.
• 55:17
[SPEAKER_00]: it was Brock versus Roman in the main event and that's when they all came out and the beach balls are going around.
• 55:23
[SPEAKER_00]: So it's always been a bit of a protest and it's we're not engaged in what you're providing us.
• 55:30
[SPEAKER_00]: So I do think as well you have some fans who are like find it disrespectful and don't want to hit it.
• 55:36
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I didn't want to hit it.
• 55:37
[SPEAKER_00]: So I think it might have been better if it was made a bit more clear.
• 55:42
[SPEAKER_00]: like have at it like have fun with this because it could have looked visually a lot more impressive all these balls going about as people are fighting and the elite are kicking the balls back in the crowd or whatever.
• 55:55
  [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah like Jack Perry
• 55:58
[SPEAKER_01]: He noticed it early and that's why I was like, okay, I think these are specifically thrown in for a reason and he Because like give me these balls and you know, trying to hit people with them and punch in them and stuff like that So and sending them back into the crowd, but like playfully Yeah, what it did make me feel like yeah, this is like planted because as soon as the match started It flew right by my head.
• 56:17
[SPEAKER_00]: I was like what the what the fuck
• 56:18
[SPEAKER_00]: I think it's difficult as well to keep an eye on everything that's happening, so they always had something going on in the ring in this.
• 56:26
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, and a lot of elements on the screen, but the screen from where we were starting was kind of hard to see because it was high and there was a lighting ring in front.
• 56:35
  [SPEAKER_00]: So
• 56:36
[SPEAKER_00]: it's again, one will have to rewatch to kind of pick up all the different stuff.
• 56:41
[SPEAKER_00]: I don't think this is one that's necessarily going to hold up against some of the others.
• 56:45
  [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
• 56:46
[SPEAKER_00]: But it's still so fun to be their life with just the chaos everywhere and it's kind of that caffeine kick.
• 56:53
  [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
• 56:54
[SPEAKER_00]: It's went in the show because it's it's so different from everything else on it.
• 56:58
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, this was something cool to like this is I think adds as a draw to this paper view if you do promote like an Anarchy in the arena or stay in San Pete if people have watched them at home You're like hey, I kind of want to be at one of these because it's yeah wrestlers walk we had wrestlers walking up our ramp fighting and They went back stage.
• 57:17
[SPEAKER_01]: You said they went to like catering what satin I'm saying was in catering tell me Invincible yeah ROH I don't know who else was in catering there, but then
• 57:27
[SPEAKER_01]: so and draw it in Kenny like it showed them fighting stuff but then later they came back out and the like little entrance or tunnel thing near our section Kenny came out but now Kenny was like and I don't know if this camera's caught this but Kenny like hides behind the tunnel because he's like on draw it he's following me so I'm like
• 57:46
[SPEAKER_01]: You know, I got him to say, oh, no, I'm dry day was the one hiding.
• 57:48
  [SPEAKER_00]: Like Kenny's chasing me.
• 57:50
[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, a hide behind this tunnel and he had a chair.
• 57:52
[SPEAKER_01]: So Kenny comes out like, where's this guy?
• 57:54
  [SPEAKER_01]: And then, wap.
• 57:55
[SPEAKER_01]: So anyone in that section saw it, but nowhere else would see that happen, right?
• 57:59
  [SPEAKER_01]: So it is cool.
• 58:00
[SPEAKER_01]: And like you could be looking that way.
• 58:02
[SPEAKER_01]: And then you see over there in the corner of your eye, a young Nick Jackson flying through the air crashing through tables.
• 58:08
  [SPEAKER_00]: I thought I saw, um,
• 58:12
[SPEAKER_00]: Kill Mark Davis with a truck with a bus.
• 58:15
[SPEAKER_00]: I thought he did too, and then he just shows up with a bandage on his target.
• 58:18
[SPEAKER_01]: Just a little boo boo To the scratch.
• 58:21
[SPEAKER_00]: So like what was in school like when you're a kid?
• 58:23
[SPEAKER_00]: It's like everything is we wet paper towel for the wet paper towel on it
• 58:27
  [SPEAKER_01]: That's what he did.
• 58:28
  [SPEAKER_01]: He got up.
• 58:29
[SPEAKER_00]: He got my fucking boss.
• 58:30
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, put it wet paper towel on the floor.
• 58:35
  [SPEAKER_01]: That was pretty crazy.
• 58:36
[SPEAKER_01]: There was some cool stuff in this match, but the we hurt people.
• 58:40
  [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, okay.
• 58:41
[SPEAKER_01]: So the crowd were chanting, we hurt people.
• 58:44
[SPEAKER_01]: And then it cut to Jack Perry hitting Mark Davis with the bus.
• 58:48
[SPEAKER_01]: So I blew it out loud.
• 58:50
  [SPEAKER_01]: We killed people.
• 58:51
[SPEAKER_01]: And then our sections started
• 58:55
[SPEAKER_01]: all this other sections we already like doing it on the other side.
• 58:58
[SPEAKER_01]: So I hope that came across because it's just so funny.
• 59:00
[SPEAKER_01]: We killed people shout outs to show them Benjamin as well.
• 59:04
[SPEAKER_00]: My team got like a pretty good reaction a few times in as much as crowd and I think there was an element of you know Shelton a lot of people have liked and respected for a long time yet that nothing
• 59:20
[SPEAKER_00]: and then hurt syndicate in AEW has been really fun and has really been working and have seen him be elevated and feels a much bigger star than he was in WWE.
• 59:32
[SPEAKER_00]: But then to see him in a match like this, which just feels so odd.
• 59:37
[SPEAKER_00]: Like, there's no way he'd have done anything like this in WWE.
• 59:40
  [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
• 59:40
[SPEAKER_00]: Now in AEW, the hurts in the felt like they were on their own island for a bit.
• 59:44
[SPEAKER_00]: And now, then being a bit more integrated with your core AEW, your Jericho's, your elite, et cetera.
• 59:53
[SPEAKER_00]: It was kind of cool to see, I thought.
• 59:55
  [SPEAKER_01]: Definitely cool.
• 59:56
[SPEAKER_01]: It was like the box and Kenny doing the elite Terminator dive on to everyone and then Shelton was in the ring So then the credit like it they let the crowd start to build because everyone realizes oh shit like he's teaming with the box and Kenny And he used to do the like over the top thing so he's like Twice the size and in a suit And he did it and he cleared it.
• 1:00:17
[SPEAKER_01]: Uh, yeah, I I love his love Shelton But I thought it was pretty surreal seeing like yeah Bobby Shelton MVP MVP in Jericho
• 1:00:25
[SPEAKER_00]: hang it out on on screen as a unit.
• 1:00:27
  [SPEAKER_00]: I'm like that's pretty interesting.
• 1:00:29
[SPEAKER_00]: That's definitely both of them just being like, let's show that we could act with you.
• 1:00:34
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I know you hate each other.
• 1:00:35
[SPEAKER_00]: Or at least we did, I guess at one point.
• 1:00:37
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I think this one maybe on rewatch or if you were to watch at home, it might not hit like some of the other anarchy.
• 1:00:43
[SPEAKER_01]: It definitely didn't have like the violence and stuff.
• 1:00:45
[SPEAKER_01]: But again, in in a crowd or an audience, it is like it's part of this thing.
• 1:00:53
[SPEAKER_01]: I really enjoyed this match and I don't know that necessarily is when I would rewatch maybe but still being there was I'd like to see what was going on like what what the did like paper view feed was evil Leo Rush what did we get to see right oh yeah black heart Leo Rush right yeah golem
• 1:01:12
[SPEAKER_01]: You know, what else is it that the bus, yeah, it was cool.
• 1:01:15
  [SPEAKER_01]: Honestly, I enjoyed it.
• 1:01:16
[SPEAKER_01]: It was a lot of chaos and anarchy or whatever.
• 1:01:19
[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, it's the other match.
• 1:01:20
[SPEAKER_01]: But yeah, it's exactly what you kind of knew it was going to be.
• 1:01:23
  [SPEAKER_01]: And it's weird.
• 1:01:25
[SPEAKER_01]: It's like bucks should definitely go into the tag title division with like coping cage.
• 1:01:28
[SPEAKER_01]: And we'll get a TLC match, maybe Kofi and Creed and stuff.
• 1:01:31
[SPEAKER_01]: Kenny, I don't know necessarily what his thing is because it now seems like he lost M.J.F.
• 1:01:36
[SPEAKER_01]: and he's just kind of floating
• 1:01:38
[SPEAKER_01]: Jericho, like, do we continue?
• 1:01:40
[SPEAKER_01]: The finish of the match was everyone hitting super finish on Rick and Shane's hilarious.
• 1:01:44
[SPEAKER_00]: So, I guess that if you go there, I could see one more single's match.
• 1:01:48
[SPEAKER_00]: So, Jericho might get the win in singles, perhaps.
• 1:01:53
[SPEAKER_01]: And then, yeah, do you know?
• 1:01:55
  [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, sure.
• 1:01:56
[SPEAKER_01]: But again, crowd ate this up from front to back.
• 1:01:59
[SPEAKER_01]: People were just standing crazy screaming and again, wrestlers are walking through your section and everything, so it made it feel like a
• 1:02:06
[SPEAKER_01]: And then we have the main event.
• 1:02:08
  [SPEAKER_01]: Yes, main events.
• 1:02:09
[SPEAKER_01]: Hair versus title, Darby Allen, on this crazy title run with some awesome matches, putting it on the line against New York's own.
• 1:02:18
[SPEAKER_01]: MJF who made Justin Roberts say every one of the five boroughs is shit except for the place where he's from.
• 1:02:24
[SPEAKER_01]: Yes, long island obviously and use where know what colors like metz nicks.
• 1:02:30
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, like the orange and blue islanders.
• 1:02:32
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, dare I say islanders go next nicks and four is on the nicks and four is what people are saying.
• 1:02:39
[SPEAKER_01]: uh this was the main event and these two went out there and had an awesome match.
• 1:02:44
[SPEAKER_00]: I love it felt I thought it felt awesome to see a sold-out crowd as hot as this one with mjf and darby allen main eventing two of your day one guys.
• 1:02:57
  [SPEAKER_00]: I know you're wrong talent.
• 1:02:58
[SPEAKER_00]: Homegrown the pillars if you will but this is like
• 1:03:03
[SPEAKER_00]: I think they said what the second most financially successful AW shown North America behind all in all in, right?
• 1:03:11
[SPEAKER_00]: So done incredibly well and it's these two guys who didn't really have a name outside of AW beforehand.
• 1:03:18
[SPEAKER_00]: This isn't seem punk coming into a main event.
• 1:03:20
[SPEAKER_00]: This isn't Brian Danielson coming in for a main event.
• 1:03:23
  [SPEAKER_00]: It's two guys they've built up.
• 1:03:25
[SPEAKER_00]: and seeing this crowd completely full, not a C-empty and the dueling chance for both guys, the respect for both guys, just the heat and how this was the match, I was most excited for and sometimes I'm not excited about the main event in AEW.
• 1:03:43
[SPEAKER_00]: I know it's going to be good, because everything they give me is good, but you know, I wasn't overly excited about Hangman versus
• 1:03:52
[SPEAKER_00]: and both of them I think are awesome wrestlers.
• 1:03:54
[SPEAKER_00]: But this I was like, this is the main story going on.
• 1:03:58
[SPEAKER_00]: Derby's had this incredible title run, which I kind of like see continue, but MJF's been fantastic on return.
• 1:04:06
  [SPEAKER_00]: And I think he,
• 1:04:07
[SPEAKER_00]: he is captivating people, his segments are doing the best and I think they've just told the story really well and there was intrigue and want to see MJF Shave board and people to see this this Derby run still go so the crowd were electric from the announcements right right at the beginning yeah it felt like a big match and again like we we have followed AWS since the beginning and these two didn't come into this company like
• 1:04:32
[SPEAKER_01]: with previous TV time or like anything and to see them kind of don't say oh you have to demo w like not like for a major thing yeah like no yeah like okay you made if you're dihards and know the indies and stuff you would know them and everything but still like for that the rise of
• 1:04:49
[SPEAKER_01]: We've seen the the pillars matches.
• 1:04:51
[SPEAKER_01]: We've seen the the one on one where he beat him with the head of the side headlock take over I know that it goes expands even before eight of you, but yeah, they made it a key plot point in that what one match before and that was totally brought up and like they did each other It was it was a side-headlock match party.
• 1:05:09
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, we all these side-headlock take over
• 1:05:11
[SPEAKER_00]: With some callbacks there, previous match, like the revolution one with the whole pin, like one, two, one, two, rolling the bridging.
• 1:05:21
  [SPEAKER_00]: I love that sequence.
• 1:05:22
  [SPEAKER_00]: I've seen it a bunch.
• 1:05:23
  [SPEAKER_00]: I always love it.
• 1:05:24
[SPEAKER_00]: It always pops me and I always get nervous when it gets the bridge sequence, because
• 1:05:30
[SPEAKER_00]: They're knackered and what if one day their bodies just like yeah, I'm some gas can't do it But professionals they are and that that was another moment in this match like in a car to catch the weather crowd Just go even louder stood up with going crazy.
• 1:05:45
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I could tell like this is now pushing the match Probably sorry around like 11 30 probably just a little after you could tell people were like
• 1:05:53
[SPEAKER_01]: getting a little tired from earlier, but there's the match would go on people like, no, there's the main event.
• 1:05:58
[SPEAKER_01]: And think they were doing some pretty impressive stuff.
• 1:06:02
[SPEAKER_01]: Darby obviously has to jump off something and Nick Foley's in the house.
• 1:06:07
[SPEAKER_01]: So of course he's got to jump off some of her, he did the bang bang.
• 1:06:10
[SPEAKER_01]: He even did the bang bang.
• 1:06:11
[SPEAKER_01]: He jumped off basically the stage of this thing, like climb some of the scaffolding and jumped off and did the coffin drop through the table.
• 1:06:19
[SPEAKER_01]: And then look like he had the biggest gash
• 1:06:23
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, he's head must have bounced off something because oh my god right away He was bleeding all over the top of his head in on onto NJF so I thought that was a crazy There was visual the him the carbon job is like falling with grace or style.
• 1:06:37
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, and just seeing this guy I was like what the what is this nuts?
• 1:06:41
[SPEAKER_00]: There was that, but there was also the callback to Sean V. Taker and Doos and D'Arms.
• 1:06:49
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, yeah, yeah, with the dive with camera man Jeff pulling the camera man in front and.
• 1:06:56
[SPEAKER_00]: Is he union the camera man.
• 1:06:58
[SPEAKER_00]: It must have been a very good actor because he looked genuinely like shit, sorry, what am I doing?
• 1:07:03
[SPEAKER_00]: And didn't really take Darby a toy, I think Darby's head just ate the camera, but him coming down at that angle very similar to one to take up with that dive.
• 1:07:13
[SPEAKER_00]: That looked nasty, but yeah, Darby's dash on the back of his head and he's such a great seller, but then
• 1:07:22
[SPEAKER_00]: how much is he selling as well because he just got a stuntman or is this actually hurt or like who's how do you do this?
• 1:07:29
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I thought they played the exhaustion really well in this match.
• 1:07:33
[SPEAKER_00]: I was kind of surprised with how clean the finish was really.
• 1:07:38
[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, so like I know I think maybe you were the only person that is like no MJM is gonna shave his head tonight and everyone's like come on.
• 1:07:47
[SPEAKER_01]: And in New York, I'm not, but you're like, no, he's gonna do it.
• 1:07:50
[SPEAKER_01]: Those Turkey transplants, they're good these days.
• 1:07:52
  [SPEAKER_01]: He'd grow right back.
• 1:07:53
[SPEAKER_01]: He might even grow back thicker and stronger.
• 1:07:56
  [SPEAKER_01]: And I was like, you're crazy.
• 1:07:57
[SPEAKER_01]: But people were biting on all these falls.
• 1:08:00
[SPEAKER_01]: And you had, oh my god, this guy in our section who is off his tits, walking around, dressed as MJF with a bald cap.
• 1:08:07
  [SPEAKER_01]: Yes.
• 1:08:07
[SPEAKER_01]: This guy had like a proper MJF suit, that MJF would wear, like he has worn.
• 1:08:13
[SPEAKER_01]: a full like the scarf that outfit and everything, but the absolute worst ball cap I've ever seen, but still.
• 1:08:19
[SPEAKER_00]: It was like my don't-to-luminous one, like the flaps of the side.
• 1:08:23
[SPEAKER_01]: Like, man, you went through all that, you have the replica belt, but it kept so hard.
• 1:08:26
[SPEAKER_00]: It was still a good, yet long hair underneath, like, yeah, it was still a impressive costume.
• 1:08:30
[SPEAKER_01]: a lot of Darby face paint tonight as well.
• 1:08:32
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, but yeah, these two have great chemistry.
• 1:08:34
[SPEAKER_01]: And like we said, two hunggrown talent, the story there, even if you don't know the little pieces of the story, they went out there and still had an incredible match.
• 1:08:42
[SPEAKER_01]: But MJ has such a great bad guy in Darby is organically coming to this position.
• 1:08:47
  [SPEAKER_01]: I'm so happy.
• 1:08:48
[SPEAKER_01]: They pulled the trigger and gave them this title and this run and think back to it was it a few weeks ago where he He did the pass out thing where it's like, oh, he's defending the title every show.
• 1:08:57
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, this is gonna catch up to him And that's the story where he thought it was.
• 1:09:01
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, so MJF didn't necessarily need to cheat because he passed out during the
• 1:09:07
[SPEAKER_01]: sharp shooter I think and then try to do a coffin drop and have the knees done and so he's basically like oh you're your guest and I have you so then hits his like super tombstone and then yeah side headlight take over and new champion we can go back to this match at any time you know they could rest it for a year or so or you could go back to it next month if you want it's true I think they
• 1:09:31
[SPEAKER_00]: there's still more story to be had.
• 1:09:34
[SPEAKER_01]: I think in a year or two years, yeah.
• 1:09:35
  [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
• 1:09:35
[SPEAKER_00]: And I think they should be tied together, like career rivals, like similar age, starting the company.
• 1:09:42
[SPEAKER_01]: We noticed Mick Foley was kind of peeking out near our section and watching this match.
• 1:09:47
[SPEAKER_01]: Like on a big screen and stuff and when Derby did the big jump, he was low.
• 1:09:51
[SPEAKER_01]: So he looked impressed that Derby did that.
• 1:09:53
[SPEAKER_01]: But I was like, make your here.
• 1:09:54
[SPEAKER_01]: Why don't you help Derby win?
• 1:09:57
  [SPEAKER_01]: He's right there.
• 1:09:58
[SPEAKER_01]: I was like, oh man.
• 1:09:59
[SPEAKER_01]: I thought this is great.
• 1:10:00
  [SPEAKER_01]: I would say there's up there.
• 1:10:02
[SPEAKER_01]: Again, my match that I was to catch still caught up with.
• 1:10:04
[SPEAKER_01]: This felt like a big fight, important, good story, good wrestling.
• 1:10:09
  [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
• 1:10:09
[SPEAKER_01]: MJF is like my favorite to watch right now.
• 1:10:12
[SPEAKER_01]: I love to watch this guy and I love to hate him and he's like next to perfect in like he was put on this planet to put
• 1:10:20
[SPEAKER_01]: professional wrestle and that's what he does in his company.
• 1:10:23
[SPEAKER_01]: He's the greatest flag bear and the guy that you can hate and Derby is the other side of that coin, where it's like this He's small scrawny face pain, emo kid, but people associate with that for me.
• 1:10:35
  [SPEAKER_00]: He's believable though.
• 1:10:36
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, you know, like it's you look at the size of him compared to others and you'll go you might scoff like how is he but Realistically going to beat this guy
• 1:10:47
[SPEAKER_00]: But then you watch how he throws his body around, how quick he is, how relentless he is.
• 1:10:53
  [SPEAKER_00]: It's so impressive and it's believable.
• 1:10:55
[SPEAKER_00]: You then believe how he's beaten these, you know, Brody Kings of the World and stuff like that.
• 1:11:01
  [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, really great.
• 1:11:02
[SPEAKER_00]: And then after the match, Darby's being stretched it off and MGF starts to kick at him.
• 1:11:09
[SPEAKER_00]: So Kevin Knight runs out for the save, so we think,
• 1:11:14
[SPEAKER_00]: And as Darby's being stretched away, he hits the UFO splash on Darby on the stretcher and walks out through the heel tunnel.
• 1:11:23
  [SPEAKER_01]: Oh, really?
• 1:11:24
  [SPEAKER_01]: Oh, yeah, I guess.
• 1:11:25
[SPEAKER_00]: He did the, they do this a lot and I know you know where they walk up and they look.
• 1:11:29
  [SPEAKER_00]: Do I go left?
• 1:11:30
  [SPEAKER_00]: Do I go right?
• 1:11:32
  [SPEAKER_01]: Oh, this way now.
• 1:11:33
[SPEAKER_01]: Well, all in when Hangman came out in the good tunnel.
• 1:11:37
  [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, it was like,
• 1:11:39
  [SPEAKER_01]: I thought he's a good guy, I can't remember it, right?
• 1:11:41
[SPEAKER_01]: So, yeah, shocking, you were calling for this.
• 1:11:46
[SPEAKER_01]: You were like, yo, Kevin, I just got to turn Hill.
• 1:11:47
[SPEAKER_01]: And after the last few weeks, it was like, okay, he's rambling and cutting promos and showing up when he's not supposed to be.
• 1:11:54
[SPEAKER_01]: It's like, okay, something fishy going on.
• 1:11:56
  [SPEAKER_01]: I just, I don't think it fell flat.
• 1:11:58
[SPEAKER_01]: He didn't get a single reaction when he ran out there.
• 1:12:01
[SPEAKER_01]: But then when he did the splash, the place, like you had people leaving, because people were like, over, but then people were like, looking back, wait, what did he just do?
• 1:12:09
[SPEAKER_01]: And then you just heard the roar.
• 1:12:10
[SPEAKER_00]: I think it wasn't necessarily as clear on, because you don't know when the show's ended.
• 1:12:17
  [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
• 1:12:17
[SPEAKER_00]: You know, and I think the MJF music stopped, I think, when he was kicking at Darby.
• 1:12:23
[SPEAKER_00]: So I think people just thought it was the end of the show.
• 1:12:26
[SPEAKER_00]: And then, oh, Kevin, nice run out for the
• 1:12:29
  [SPEAKER_00]: just post-show thing.
• 1:12:30
  [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
• 1:12:31
[SPEAKER_00]: Um, but yeah, I was surprised.
• 1:12:34
[SPEAKER_00]: I thought we might get the turn in the match.
• 1:12:36
[SPEAKER_00]: I thought we might get a spot where, you know, Kevin Knight points out that MJF has the ring and now he's going to use that and then Kevin Knight kicks him in the balls.
• 1:12:45
  [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
• 1:12:45
  [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
• 1:12:46
  [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
• 1:12:46
[SPEAKER_00]: So this, this makes me think Kevin Knight's not aligned with MJF because MJF did the like shock.
• 1:12:53
  [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
• 1:12:53
  [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
• 1:12:54
  [SPEAKER_00]: He's like, oh,
• 1:12:58
[SPEAKER_00]: but I thought it was interesting that Speedball didn't run out and wasn't involved because you could have played that heartbreak here with Speedball like what are you doing or whatever the fact he wasn't there makes me think they're holding off with that and maybe they'll play with
• 1:13:18
[SPEAKER_00]: will speed ball join him and be like, yeah, be like, oh, actually, if we're going to succeed, I got to, yeah, you're right to do that.
• 1:13:27
[SPEAKER_00]: I think we'll have a bit of a dilemma with speed balls character going forward.
• 1:13:31
[SPEAKER_01]: I think it's the right move for Kevin.
• 1:13:33
[SPEAKER_01]: Like, that's the best thing for him.
• 1:13:35
[SPEAKER_01]: Like, yeah, he needs that, like a fresh coat of paint and involved the character that you already were.
• 1:13:41
[SPEAKER_01]: You're the clink-up baby face who now has some steam in a title, like maybe it should have happened a little earlier.
• 1:13:47
[SPEAKER_00]: He beat Darby in the Continental class, I think, and then they had the match recently on TV where Darby won't forget now, but he did, he had a couple of big wins.
• 1:13:59
[SPEAKER_00]: So this could be for Bindor, Darby and Kevin Knight, and then Kevin Knight and people all in.
• 1:14:07
  [SPEAKER_00]: No, that, Montreal.
• 1:14:08
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, they didn't announce that tonight.
• 1:14:10
  [SPEAKER_00]: Uh, I don't know.
• 1:14:11
  [SPEAKER_01]: Did they?
• 1:14:11
  [SPEAKER_01]: I don't know.
• 1:14:12
  [SPEAKER_01]: We haven't really looked.
• 1:14:13
[SPEAKER_01]: We watched wrestling and then gotten a card.
• 1:14:15
  [SPEAKER_00]: I don't know what happened.
• 1:14:16
[SPEAKER_01]: And then I see post wrestling in the chest.
• 1:14:18
  [SPEAKER_01]: And then post wrestling.
• 1:14:19
[SPEAKER_01]: John and way, uh, saw some people wearing post wrestling shirts.
• 1:14:22
[SPEAKER_00]: They always always like to go.
• 1:14:23
  [SPEAKER_00]: Hey, post wrestling.
• 1:14:25
[SPEAKER_01]: And then sometimes they don't know who I am.
• 1:14:26
  [SPEAKER_01]: And that's okay.
• 1:14:27
[SPEAKER_01]: And then sometimes they're like, wait a second.
• 1:14:29
[SPEAKER_01]: You guys are those guys.
• 1:14:31
[SPEAKER_01]: You're not John and way, but you're those guys.
• 1:14:34
  [SPEAKER_01]: love you, John, away.
• 1:14:36
[SPEAKER_01]: But Kevin night needed to do this and the crowd definitely reacted when he did it.
• 1:14:42
[SPEAKER_00]: It's going to help him get to that next level now.
• 1:14:45
[SPEAKER_00]: And I think if we've got some good dynamite crowds, you know.
• 1:14:51
[SPEAKER_00]: People like being in on it more these days that Dominic Mysterio reaction, the Dom Calas reaction, if you've got the right crowd and he gets that sort of reaction, it could be very good for him.
• 1:15:02
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I think maybe because earlier in the night, you did do the friend thing turn of fletcher.
• 1:15:10
[SPEAKER_01]: I think my only gripe was what I was trying to get at is like, I like Kevin night turning heel, I needed to happen.
• 1:15:14
[SPEAKER_01]: Once you tell me, you wouldn't you be better if you turn it, it's like, oh yeah, actually,
• 1:15:18
[SPEAKER_01]: you could get the use of get of all and get to that next thing, but I think maybe I I mean you got a crazy ladder reaction, but the past few weeks it did kind of you could see it coming that like, wait, why is he coming out for Derby?
• 1:15:31
[SPEAKER_01]: Why is he keep doing it?
• 1:15:32
[SPEAKER_01]: Like, Derby didn't invite you out here and you keep coming out here, whereas I think if you were to have turned on the speed ball, it would have been more hot, that's your bro, like why would you do that?
• 1:15:43
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, because now you've maybe burned that where you can't have, you can't have, you'll do it, you can do a mini one, but he's already healed.
• 1:15:51
[SPEAKER_01]: So it doesn't have the same people watch the show and he's like, So maybe they'd films on the afterwards where his people does, like, confront him.
• 1:15:59
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, what was that about or something?
• 1:16:00
[SPEAKER_01]: So we will get that match eventually, which people kind of make sounds great.
• 1:16:04
  [SPEAKER_01]: That'll be more true.
• 1:16:05
[SPEAKER_01]: I guess, yeah, that's the case, but yeah, so there you go.
• 1:16:09
  [SPEAKER_01]: Then that was it.
• 1:16:10
[SPEAKER_01]: I felt like, uh, even though mjf is New York and people were kind of like, ah, kind of wanted to see him shave his head though.
• 1:16:17
  [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
• 1:16:19
[SPEAKER_01]: I think he looks scary.
• 1:16:20
  [SPEAKER_01]: I think it'd be a great villain.
• 1:16:21
  [SPEAKER_01]: The boothead.
• 1:16:23
  [SPEAKER_01]: Burberry, do rag.
• 1:16:24
  [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
• 1:16:25
[SPEAKER_01]: We saw someone yesterday wearing a full burberry, like raincoat rain pants thing.
• 1:16:31
  [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
• 1:16:31
  [SPEAKER_01]: I was like, I don't even think that guy's a wrestling band.
• 1:16:33
[SPEAKER_01]: I think he has just,
• 1:16:35
  [SPEAKER_01]: Like Burberry is pulpy.
• 1:16:36
  [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
• 1:16:36
  [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
• 1:16:37
  [SPEAKER_00]: I know.
• 1:16:37
  [SPEAKER_00]: I know.
• 1:16:38
  [SPEAKER_00]: I know.
• 1:16:38
  [SPEAKER_00]: But like it's funny.
• 1:16:41
[SPEAKER_01]: It looks like MJF would wear that.
• 1:16:43
[SPEAKER_01]: Honestly, this show, another AEW banger.
• 1:16:46
[SPEAKER_01]: Like their pay per views do not miss.
• 1:16:48
  [SPEAKER_01]: Like this is.
• 1:16:50
[SPEAKER_01]: Every time I watch a show like this, I remind me why I do love pro wrestling and like I can get lost and if imagine a story and all this stuff is so good Like I can forget a second I can totally escape and that's why we love to watch entertainment and mobile movies and TV shows and stuff and every time I watch one of these eight other neighborhoods like it hits like
• 1:17:10
[SPEAKER_00]: hits like this show, the hit rate on this show is ridiculous, you know, there are five, six, seven matches on this show that were like, raucous crowd and, yeah, very high quality.
• 1:17:24
[SPEAKER_00]: Like, if the crowd really helped, I really enjoyed this show tonight and I think,
• 1:17:28
[SPEAKER_00]: We've been in some great crowds, but just the acoustics here, like it sounded so hot and it sounded it felt so exciting to be an AEW fan again because there were the doldrons, like the wrestling's always been great, but you could feel like the energy in the lack of interest of energy
• 1:17:46
[SPEAKER_00]: And this didn't feel like a long show for me.
• 1:17:48
[SPEAKER_00]: And for the most part, the crowd really kept it up throughout the whole thing.
• 1:17:52
[SPEAKER_01]: Like, okay, obviously different places they go, different crowds and interest and stuff.
• 1:17:57
[SPEAKER_01]: But whenever it's a paper view, the crowds usually are like, really into it.
• 1:18:01
[SPEAKER_01]: And obviously New York City, you haven't people come in from all the other places like us.
• 1:18:05
[SPEAKER_01]: From Toronto, New York is not that far.
• 1:18:06
[SPEAKER_01]: We're like, yeah, why not?
• 1:18:07
[SPEAKER_01]: So like, you do, it's a hot bed and does feel like one of the bigger wrestling season.
• 1:18:11
[SPEAKER_01]: But like I said at the beginning, like, we went to Grand Sling.
• 1:18:16
[SPEAKER_01]: outside of MSG, they're they're crushing it in New York.
• 1:18:20
[SPEAKER_01]: I think that's the white whale that maybe they do go to chase of like, hey, how do we get into MSG?
• 1:18:26
[SPEAKER_01]: One day they will in the crowd be mental, but they don't need it either, because they could do these big stadiums and everything, but honestly.
• 1:18:33
  [SPEAKER_01]: front to back.
• 1:18:34
[SPEAKER_01]: This was an awesome show as always.
• 1:18:35
[SPEAKER_01]: AW is like definitely worth the money.
• 1:18:37
[SPEAKER_01]: If you never been to a show, you got to go like, spirits, it's such a blast.
• 1:18:41
[SPEAKER_01]: But I think they're on a bit of an up swing right now.
• 1:18:44
[SPEAKER_01]: Like, if you are someone who is a wrestling head and maybe WWE isn't hitting right now, I think this also helps maybe people like, well, what else is there?
• 1:18:52
  [SPEAKER_01]: What's new Japan doing?
• 1:18:53
[SPEAKER_01]: What's, you know, will triple it.
• 1:18:54
[SPEAKER_01]: But like, it is a great alternative.
• 1:18:57
  [SPEAKER_01]: And to me,
• 1:19:02
  [SPEAKER_01]: I watch a WVP review.
• 1:19:03
[SPEAKER_01]: I watch WrestleMania and it's like, I felt like there's not a whole lot of wrestling on these shows.
• 1:19:07
  [SPEAKER_01]: Where's this?
• 1:19:07
[SPEAKER_01]: I'm like, I'm almost complaining to you like, man, this is too much wrestling on this show.
• 1:19:12
[SPEAKER_01]: And that I, that is
• 1:19:14
[SPEAKER_01]: Like insane to say, because I just get all this wrestling.
• 1:19:17
[SPEAKER_01]: I'm so entertained by everything is hitting and connecting.
• 1:19:20
[SPEAKER_01]: Of course, there's gonna be certain matches or certain things that maybe I don't like as much, but every time we travel to these shows, it is worth it.
• 1:19:28
[SPEAKER_01]: I don't ever leave being like, ah, that was whatever.
• 1:19:31
  [SPEAKER_01]: Like they,
• 1:19:32
[SPEAKER_01]: are connecting in there, definitely on a streak right now.
• 1:19:36
[SPEAKER_01]: They're on fire right now.
• 1:19:37
  [SPEAKER_01]: Absolutely.
• 1:19:38
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I'm looking forward to the next one.
• 1:19:41
  [SPEAKER_00]: I had a great time.
• 1:19:42
[SPEAKER_00]: I'm looking forward to where the stories are going.
• 1:19:44
  [SPEAKER_00]: The matches.
• 1:19:45
[SPEAKER_00]: We're on the road to Walin, all in.
• 1:19:46
[SPEAKER_00]: It's getting closer and closer.
• 1:19:48
[SPEAKER_00]: I'm spray MJF all in main event.
• 1:19:51
  [SPEAKER_00]: I guess so.
• 1:19:52
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, what do you see MJF's defense is being up until all in?
• 1:19:57
[SPEAKER_00]: Well, he's got from indoor.
• 1:19:58
[SPEAKER_01]: So he's going to fight like, go tell or something.
• 1:20:01
  [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
• 1:20:04
[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, I could maybe, maybe Sueji, maybe you could do that.
• 1:20:09
  [SPEAKER_00]: But...
• 1:20:10
[SPEAKER_00]: It also doesn't have to be a New Japan family, kind of just regular AEW title matches on the show, right?
• 1:20:15
[SPEAKER_00]: So they might do that, and then yeah, what about the redemption if that is going ahead?
• 1:20:22
[SPEAKER_01]: Again, I don't know what that thing has been announced or anything.
• 1:20:25
[SPEAKER_01]: We're hoping it is in our nice country.
• 1:20:28
[SPEAKER_01]: We love a show, and I feel like that would be awesome to go to you have a bunch of Canadian talent, but it doesn't even matter, it just feels like a hot product again right now.
• 1:20:38
[SPEAKER_01]: when they deliver and you get your your fans trust back of like oh every time they come to talents it's worth the money it's worth the show could you do the uh can you mjf rematch
• 1:20:49
  [SPEAKER_00]: there.
• 1:20:50
  [SPEAKER_01]: I feel like we've passed it.
• 1:20:52
  [SPEAKER_01]: He lost.
• 1:20:52
  [SPEAKER_01]: Yes, that's it.
• 1:20:53
  [SPEAKER_01]: It's over.
• 1:20:53
[SPEAKER_01]: It shows like MDF kicked out of the Wonder Woman angel.
• 1:20:56
  [SPEAKER_01]: It's done.
• 1:20:57
  [SPEAKER_00]: Just the name redemption.
