- 0:29need to see how many of these we get through. Now,
- 0:33what do you treat yourself to now that you couldn't
- 0:36have as a kid?
- 0:38Speaker 3: Well, it was it was illegal for me to buy
- 0:40whiskey one night until I got to be twenty one.
- 0:45Speaker 2: Do you know what mine is? Would you like me
- 0:49to tell you before you while you're deciding.
- 0:51Speaker 3: I'm trying.
- 0:52Speaker 4: I have one, but it's very quick, so tell me sleep.
- 0:56Speaker 3: I was going to say that.
- 0:59Speaker 1: In my house, my mother, the dear Sainted Mary Claire,
- 1:03is not not a fan.
- 1:04Speaker 2: Of sleep at all.
- 1:06Speaker 3: It wasted time.
- 1:07Speaker 2: It's wasted time, like.
- 1:09Speaker 1: There was absolutely no sleeping in ever, like weekends summer,
- 1:15get up and get get on.
- 1:17Speaker 3: With the day and get cracking.
- 1:18Speaker 4: Yeah, or so sleep is mine mine is I can
- 1:22stand in front of the refrigerator with the door open
- 1:26as long as I want, although it has a little
- 1:30alarm that goes off if I do for does it long?
- 1:34Speaker 3: And I have I have a there's another one I
- 1:36have too? Is that that reminded me of it. I
- 1:38can drink out of the carton of milk if I
- 1:40want to. Now that. Now, if somebody saw me doing that,
- 1:45they wouldn't like it. But I can still do it.
- 1:49Speaker 1: Uh, what annoyance do you put up with? Because it
- 1:51isn't worth the trouble to fix it? Uh?
- 1:58Speaker 2: Could it isn't worth it truck trouble to fix it?
- 2:03Speaker 4: Just about everything that's broken in the studio.
- 2:07Speaker 1: It's like, so my husband drives a twelve year old No,
- 2:12it's older than that seventeen year old truck, and the
- 2:18passenger side door doesn't open. So if I want to
- 2:21ride in the truck with him, you have I have
- 2:23to get in the driver's side and scooch over on
- 2:26the bench.
- 2:27Speaker 3: Well, that presumes that you want to ride in the truck.
- 2:30You don't want to ride in the truck.
- 2:31Speaker 1: But it's one of those things where he's looked at
- 2:33getting it fixed. But it will take days. And it's
- 2:38an old truck, so they're not giving you a loaner
- 2:40truck to fix truck, so that's ours.
- 2:46Speaker 4: Mine is my old laptop computer at home won't speak
- 2:51to my printer via Wi Fi, so I have to
- 2:55plug it. If I want to print something off the printer,
- 2:58I have to plug the printer in to the last.
- 3:00Speaker 3: That's annoying.
- 3:01Speaker 4: It is annoying, but it's just not worth the trouble
- 3:04of buying a new computer to do Yeah, because the
- 3:07computer works fine. It would just be more convenient if
- 3:11it was a wireless situation. I think mine is my cat,
- 3:15your cat. It's no, it's just not worth it. He's annoying,
- 3:18but it's it's not worth the trouble. No, it's not
- 3:21worth the trouble to fix it, because because fixing it
- 3:23would mean something radical, you know, like removing the cat
- 3:27from the house.
- 3:29Speaker 2: What bad habit have you managed to quit?
- 3:32Speaker 3: Well? Smoking bad habit?
- 3:35Speaker 2: I was.
- 3:36Speaker 3: I was addicted to cigarettes for years.
- 3:39Speaker 2: And you you quit a couple times before you quite several.
- 3:43Speaker 3: I mean, I used to say, to quote Mark Twain,
- 3:45the only the only thing I could see good about
- 3:48quitting cigarettes was the pure pleasure of taking them up again.
- 3:52But I finally did quit you.
- 3:55Speaker 1: I used to on my nightstand every night when I
- 3:59went to bed, would have a can of diet coke.
- 4:03Speaker 4: And you managed to quit that, and.
- 4:05Speaker 2: I don't go I go to bed with water.
- 4:08Speaker 3: I don't so in case you wake up thirsty, you're
- 4:11you would wake up and have diet coked quench your thirsty.
- 4:15Speaker 2: Yes, that was a horrible habit. Well it's not either, Yeah,
- 4:19it is.
- 4:21Speaker 4: Mine is impulsively buying action figures or toys.
- 4:26Speaker 2: That was a big thing for you because.
- 4:28Speaker 4: I would just get them. I wouldn't even think about it.
- 4:30I just go, I need that. But now I'm like, no,
- 4:34I don't need that.
- 4:34Speaker 3: By the way, thanks Gina. What Kerry gets a big
- 4:37huge pad on the back for giving up action figures
- 4:40for me stopping cigarettes. Oh you did that several times,
- 4:45didn't you, Bill No.
- 4:46Speaker 1: Meaning, I'm What I meant by that was it's hard
- 4:48to it's I'm proud of you for doing it, because
- 4:51it's a very difficult thing.
- 4:52Speaker 4: To now see, everyone is telling me how to fix
- 4:54my laptop. Here's the thing. It's so old, it won't
- 4:57take any updates.
- 4:58Speaker 2: It's so old.
- 4:59Speaker 4: It won't download drivers.
- 5:01Speaker 2: It's really old.
- 5:02Speaker 4: It's really old.
- 5:03Speaker 2: But it works just fine. But it doesn't work just fine, Carrie.
