  unwell today. OK, so the first way that I have

  for you guys today is I need to talk about Tana Mojo's new M Co
• 1:30
  Beauty ad that is going viral. So Tana is the new ambassador
• 1:34
  for M Co Beauty, and they're rolling out this campaign with
• 1:37
  an episodic miniseries that appears to be like a parody of
• 1:42
  them signing Tana as an ambassador.

  The series also features creators Natalie Benson and
• 1:48
  Sammy's friend Sammy, where the three of them and an M Co Beauty
• 1:53
  employee get stuck in an escape room and they basically have to
• 1:56
  work their way out through solving puzzles related to make
• 1:59
  up. At least that's what it seems
• 2:00
  like. Only two episodes are out, and
• 2:02
  there will be 7. Apparently, Tana's the star of
• 2:05
  the series. The other creators are playing
• 2:07
  characters, but Tana is playing herself.

  And I thought this was an interesting example of what
• 2:13
  people have been saying in social media for years, which is
• 2:16
  that the next big thing in social media marketing is brands
• 2:19
  creating narrative style content and more like reality TV
• 2:23
  miniseries or like world building content.

  I think this is an example of what people have been, you know,
• 2:29
  saying was going to be the next big thing in social to an
• 2:31
  extent, But there are a couple reasons why I think this one in
• 2:35
  particular is landing. So first of all, the series
• 2:38
  itself breaks the 4th wall. Like I said, it's a parody of
• 2:41
  her signing an ambassadorship. She's like showing up to the M
• 2:44
  Co beauty offices for a business meeting, right?
• 2:47
  So that already like plays into we know who she is.
• 2:50
  We understand like the premise of what they're trying to do.
• 2:53
  But Tana herself actually broke the 4th wall for this campaign
• 2:56
  to her followers before the ad went out because she actually
• 2:59
  told her followers that this ad was coming and that her acting
• 3:03
  was bad. So when people started watching
• 3:05
  this content on her social media, they felt like in on the
• 3:08
  joke. And she even responded to some
• 3:10
  in the comments section. So a follower named Grace wrote,
• 3:13
  oh, she wasn't lying about her acting Homme with the cry face.
• 3:17
  And then Tana wrote, I tried to warn you.

  She also shared with her audience that she got a good
• 3:21
  payday from this campaign, again, breaking that 4th wall.

  So somebody said, Tana, I hope you got paid for this because
• 3:28
  it's obviously like a little bit cringe.
• 3:30
  And like the first commenter said, like her acting is it's
• 3:34
  not great, it's funny, it's just not great, obviously.

  And Tana wrote got to get a pink Birkin next.
• 3:40
  So I think the self-awareness from Tana in this campaign, like
• 3:44
  the breaking of the 4th wall, but then also the campaign
• 3:46
  almost like hinging on this level of awareness as well,
• 3:50
  where it's like, OK, we're not going to pretend that Tana Mojo
• 3:52
  is someone who she isn't, right? We're going to put her in this
• 3:55
  storyline where she is herself and we are trying to sign her as
• 3:58
  an ambassador. And then we'll create a
• 3:59
  narrative around that that has been really successful.

  And then the other thing that I think has actually been
• 4:04
  successful about this is I have found a couple people on Reddit
• 4:08
  asking where they can watch the full series.
• 4:10
  Like they didn't actually notice that it was an ad.

  They thought it was clips that had been clipped down segments
• 4:17
  essentially from a miniseries that Tana was launching.

  And like, this is a small sample size.
• 4:21
  Like there weren't many comments that thought this.

  But I think the fact that there were people going specifically
• 4:27
  off platform to Reddit to ask like, where can I watch this
• 4:31
  shows the power of this style of content in social media
• 4:34
  marketing. All right, the next story that I
• 4:36
  have for you guys today is I am going to break down Tik Tok's
• 4:39
  what I'm calling Loftgate. I know everything's like a gate
• 4:42
  at the end. And I know people are like, can
• 4:43
  we stop with that? But I don't know what else to
• 4:45
  call this. So an alleged real estate scam
• 4:47
  is going viral on TikTok after a user came out claiming she owns
• 4:51
  and lives in the loft that is the subject of Sud scam.
• 4:55
  So a creator named Mos Tia on TikTok posted a video a few days
• 4:58
  ago of a loft that is allegedly for rent in Atlanta.

  Mos Tia's bio says she's the licensed realtor and it says
• 5:05
  quote, I sell apartments Atlanta.
• 5:08
  Now it's important to note here that the owner of this account
• 5:11
  is likely not actually the woman in the profile picture.
• 5:14
  I assume they are not actually named Mostia.
• 5:17
  I don't know, maybe they are. I've seen some people like pull
• 5:20
  up pictures of people that they claim is her like I don't I
• 5:23
  don't know if that's true or not.
• 5:24
  So I think take that with a grain of salt.
• 5:26
  If you see content like that, take it with a grain of salt.
• 5:28
  But yes, this is the type of online real estate scam account
• 5:31
  where essentially the account itself is just filled with
• 5:35
  footage of apartments and home tours that are allegedly
• 5:39
  available for rent or to buy. The video that's going viral is
• 5:43
  a recent tour that she put up. So it's of a loft in Atlanta and
• 5:47
  the caption read one bedroom loft available now $1200
• 5:51
  downtown Atlanta. You do not need to apply.
• 5:55
  All you need is to be money ready.
• 5:57
  I have the keys in hand already. DM me if you are interested.

  Keys, keys in hand, ready for move in.

  OK, if you don't need to apply and all you need to do is
• 6:07
  presumably send somebody money online and they claim that they
• 6:10
  have the keys and they will give you the keys to this loft before
• 6:13
  you even see it, before you apply.
• 6:15
  Obviously those are crazy red flags, but real estate scams are
• 6:19
  a thing and I'm sure they've become increasingly worse with
• 6:22
  social media. So now a creator named Madison
• 6:26
  has come out claiming that this is her loft that she owns and
• 6:29
  lives in with her husband and is trying to tell people on TikTok
• 6:32
  that this is a scam and not to fall for it.
• 6:35
  So this person just posted this video.
• 6:37
  They already blocked me. This is my house that I bought.
• 6:40
  This is my loft that I bought with my fiance in 2024.
• 6:44
  This is my exact. Unit not for rent.
• 6:47
  And then I messaged her and let me tell you what she said.
• 6:50
  So they did DM for a little bit. Madison said the video of the
• 6:54
  loft you just posted is literally my house that I
• 6:57
  purchased in March 2024. And then Mastia wrote not
• 7:00
  understanding why you're texting me.
• 7:02
  And then Madison said because you just posted a video of my
• 7:05
  house saying it's for rent and it's very much not.
• 7:08
  And then Mastia wrote a house and an apartment is two
• 7:11
  different things for one. Secondly, I don't care where you
• 7:13
  live. I didn't ask.
• 7:15
  It's not your house. First off, that's a wild answer.

  And then Madison wrote, mind you, yeah, it literally is.
• 7:23
  However, she got blocked before that last message was sent.
• 7:26
  So most people who saw this video, like, saw Madison's
• 7:28
  content, were sympathetic to her situation, and they tried to
• 7:31
  amplify her video to make sure that somebody didn't get scammed
• 7:35
  by this. However, there also were some
• 7:37
  people who were questioning if Madison was telling the truth,
• 7:40
  like asking how a realtor would have a video of Madison's home
• 7:43
  without furnishings in it if it wasn't actually for rent.
• 7:47
  People thinking maybe it was just a different apartment in
• 7:49
  her complex that was for rent. And so she was making content
• 7:52
  trying to prove like, no, this is actually my apartment.

  Perfect. Let's debunk it right now.

  What do we think guys? Do I have a standing shower or a

  tub? Do we think this bathroom is
• 8:04
  going to look the exact same? Why is the smoothing on?

  Do we think this is going to look the exact same as her

  video? Yes or no?

  The answer is yes, it is identical to hers.

  Because that is my fucking house.

  Look at this brick up here, this dark area of brick.

  Look at this little green splotch.

  Look at this thing that looks like a Penguin.

  Eyes, nose, bow tie. OK, take a look at those three

  things. Dark spot.

  And then commentary creator Mark, He did a bit of digging

  and found that the video that Mustia posted of the Loft had
• 8:43
  been reposted a ton on social media several times.

  And the original video traces back to presumably the actual
• 8:51
  realtor who sold this apartment in December 2023.

  They posted this was like the first video that he could find,
• 8:59
  at least of the loft that was posted.

  And it was that exact video after Marcia blocked her.

  Madison DM Ed them on Instagram writing, hey, you stupid.

  You said you have the keys to my house.

  So I'm calling the police if you don't remove the video of my
• 9:13
  condo that I own. So the most recent update now is
• 9:17
  that this account, Mustia, has seemingly been banned, which is
• 9:21
  good because it was essentially an account that just reposted
• 9:24
  real estate videos claiming they were renting or selling them,
• 9:28
  presumably to get deposits and scam people.

  But I really can't get over the fact that Madison had to.

  I mean, I can't, I believe it. I, I'm not surprised, I suppose,
• 9:37
  but I can't get over the fact that she had to prove to people
• 9:41
  in the comments section who didn't believe her.

  OK. And the last story that I have

  for you guys today is that Alex Cooper is meant to host the
• 9:49
  Hannah Montana reunion. So Hannah Montana is doing a
• 9:53
  20th reunion anniversary special.

  It's coming to Disney Plus on March 24th.

  It's launching 20 years to the day of the premiere and it will

  be hosted by Alex Cooper. The special is unscripted, it

  will be filmed in front of a live studio audience and it

  centers around an interview between Miley Cyrus and Alex

  Cooper. And they will also share never

  before seen footage. So even though a lot of people

  take issue with Alex's interview style, I do think it's a nice

  full circle moment for both of them because Alex's first

  celebrity interview was Miley Cyrus.

  When Call Her Daddy was first rebranded, it was acquired by

  Spotify and they were trying to totally like, rebrand her from,

  you know, like Gluck, Gluck 3000 or whatever that was to a

  celebrity interviewer. And Miley Cyrus was the first

  like a Lister to sit down on Call Her Daddy.

  And I remember at the time, everyone was like, what the

  hell? Like, what is Miley Cyrus doing

  on Call Her Daddy? What is Alex Cooper doing

  interviewing celebrities on Call Her Daddy?

  And now that's what we know. Call Her Daddy as a celebrity

  interview series. I feel like I was just a little

  bit too old for Hannah Montana, which really ages me.

  But Annabelle and I talk about this all the time.

  Like the millennial generation was truly Lizzie McGuire.

  Like at least that was like me. Like I was truly like the Lizzie

  McGuire era. And then Zillennials.

  We feel like we're the High School Musical era and then Gen.

  Z Hannah Montana. I think having a 20 year reunion

  is kind of iconic. And I hope Miley Cyrus like

  But as we know, unfortunately, the reality of like, I mean,

  it's not call her daddy, I guess, but like call her Daddy

  is a place that celebrities go to for very sanitized PR

  interviews. That being said, I actually

  think social media in general has changed celebrity

  interviewing so much more than we ever give it credit for.

  Like we often look at, you know, celebrities that go in different

  podcasts and like that podcaster is such a bad interviewer.

  They don't get any juice. Like where's the Diane Sawyer of
• 11:51
  our generation? Like whatever.

  And it's like, well, celebrities don't need to do those like hard
• 11:55
  hitting interviews anymore to address scandals.

  They can just go on their Instagram story or make a TikTok

  or or whatever, right? So they don't need to sit down

  and be grilled anymore. So like, why would they?

  So now unfortunately, the reality is that the celebrity

  interview has changed so much and it is very sanitized.
