- 0:40Speaker 3: talking about terrible places to be hungover because Petley was
- 0:42Speaker 3: at the dentist when she was hungover. And then we
- 0:45Speaker 3: got a text from Catherine and I read this text
- 0:48Speaker 3: and I said, Catherine, you need to explain.
- 0:52Speaker 4: I've been hungover twice in the operating room as a
- 0:56Speaker 4: surgical text.
- 0:57Speaker 2: Oh my god, wow, you do not I want to
- 1:00Speaker 2: mess anything up in there?
- 1:02Speaker 3: Yes, Well, like when you're in there, how long are
- 1:05Speaker 3: the procedures where you're hungover?
- 1:07Speaker 4: Well, I work at like an outpatious place and so
- 1:10Speaker 4: are thankfully. Our procedures are anywhere from like thirty minutes
- 1:14Speaker 4: to two hours. But you don't get to sit down,
- 1:17Speaker 4: you don't get water, there's no break. You have to
- 1:20Speaker 4: wait for somebody to like break you out. And you're
- 1:24Speaker 4: wearing a mask and like a gown that's not breatheabol
- 1:27Speaker 4: and you're standing the whole time staring under like big
- 1:30Speaker 4: oh ur lights that are super hot and bright.
- 1:32Speaker 1: You sweating your face, You're just sweating in your heart's
- 1:35Speaker 1: got to be flying through your chests.
- 1:36Speaker 4: Yeah, it's not fun.
- 1:38Speaker 2: And the doctor's like, scalpel and you hand them the suction?
- 1:42Speaker 2: My bad? Do they know?
- 1:44Speaker 1: Do they have a sense that you're out on your game?
- 1:46Speaker 4: Well? I actually had The one time was I was
- 1:49Speaker 4: working with a surgeon that was one of my favorite
- 1:51Speaker 4: surgeons and she saw the riding on the wall.
- 1:53Speaker 2: She's like, you don't feel good today, dude.
- 1:55Speaker 4: And my Annethy Bill just gave me an IV and
- 1:57Speaker 4: she's like, let's go. We got surgery to do. Oh wow,
- 2:01Speaker 4: let me just give you a stool so you can
- 2:03Speaker 4: sit every once in a while.
- 2:04Speaker 1: That was nice.
- 2:05Speaker 3: Did the patients turn out okay? Or did anyone ever
- 2:07Speaker 3: die while you are hungover? Okay, okay, is it simple
- 2:12Speaker 3: surgery or is it one of those things? Relax, it's
- 2:14Speaker 3: not brain surgery. And they're like, Catherine, it is. It
- 2:16Speaker 3: is brain surgery.
- 2:19Speaker 4: No, No brain surgery like ant surgery, optalmology.
- 2:25Speaker 2: Did I did a lot of that?
- 2:26Speaker 3: That's pretty big deal. I want to lose their sight
- 2:28Speaker 3: because you were hungover. Well, I hope the party was
- 2:30Speaker 3: worth it, Catherine, way to go.
- 2:32Speaker 2: Yeah, well thanks for.
- 2:34Speaker 4: We're Christmas party, so I blame my boss.
- 2:36Speaker 2: That's true.
- 2:38Speaker 3: Was the surgeon operating also at that party the night before?
- 2:41Speaker 4: No?
- 2:42Speaker 2: No, well Catherine, thanks for sharing it, Thanks for listening.
- 2:45Speaker 4: Thank you.
- 2:47Speaker 2: That's wild. Speaking of health and nutrition, listen to this.
- 2:54Speaker 3: I've done and I think if you listen to the
- 2:56Speaker 3: show for a while, you know I've done every single
- 2:58Speaker 3: diet that there is that's out there, right, every diet.
- 3:01Speaker 3: I've lost one hundred pounds, you know, if you really pay.
- 3:03Speaker 3: It was called the cookie die.
- 3:05Speaker 2: Did you just eat protein cookies or something?
- 3:07Speaker 3: I don't know if they had protein in them at
- 3:09Speaker 3: the time. It was before protein was invented. I would
- 3:12Speaker 3: eat six. It was a great die because I lost
- 3:14Speaker 3: a crap ton of weave. I lost over one hundred
- 3:16Speaker 3: pounds on this diet, but I didn't there was no muscle.
- 3:20Speaker 3: I lost all my muscle and all this stuff. And
- 3:22Speaker 3: I've done every diet Atkins, you name it, I've done it.
- 3:26Speaker 2: If it exists, I've done it. The prepackaged foods.
- 3:29Speaker 3: This thing I've been doing lately is probably the greatest
- 3:32Speaker 3: thing I've ever done. I've never felt like this before
- 3:34Speaker 3: in my life, and I will tell you why. So
- 3:36Speaker 3: it is peptides and these peptides and this whole program.
- 3:41Speaker 3: The way it works is you go to this website
- 3:44Speaker 3: and then you answer a questionnaire and they assign you
- 3:46Speaker 3: a doctor. It doesn't matter where you live in the country.
- 3:49Speaker 3: They assign you a doctor in your state, so it
- 3:51Speaker 3: follows the rules of your state.
- 3:53Speaker 2: You answer the questionnaire and they.
- 3:55Speaker 3: Come up with what you need, what peptide you need,
- 3:58Speaker 3: and then they send them to your door. Right So,
- 4:00Speaker 3: like this morning, I had this little injection of something
- 4:03Speaker 3: called glue to thione, A little glue to thione injection
- 4:05Speaker 3: I did myself before I came in this morning. Then
- 4:07Speaker 3: there's the NAD plus, then there's the GLP one, GLP two, whatever,
- 4:11Speaker 3: they're gonna prescribe for you whatever you need. And then
- 4:14Speaker 3: I don't know which one of these it is. I
- 4:16Speaker 3: take like four or five of these things. But there's
- 4:18Speaker 3: this thing that I've been taking from these guys, and
- 4:20Speaker 3: I've never experienced this before. It mimics exercise, and meanwhile,
- 4:26Speaker 3: it makes me want to exercise, Like I don't like
- 4:29Speaker 3: to exercise, but like lately, before I come in the morning,
- 4:32Speaker 3: I've been exercising my ass off before I come in,
- 4:34Speaker 3: and I don't want to stop. And I've never like
- 4:36Speaker 3: whenever you exercise, those just want to go. One of
- 4:38Speaker 3: the hells is gonna end. I'm dulle I don't want
- 4:40Speaker 3: it to end. I want to keep exercising. I've never
- 4:43Speaker 3: experienced that before, and I freaking love. So then I
- 4:46Speaker 3: get on this scale.
- 4:47Speaker 2: Right.
- 4:48Speaker 3: Also, I talk about my eating like I can't eat,
- 4:49Speaker 3: you know, I keep eating. It's not working.
- 4:51Speaker 2: I'm down thirty over thirty pounds.
- 4:53Speaker 1: Now, wow, how long ago did you start taking eight?
- 4:56Speaker 2: I think it's about two months, month and a half
- 4:58Speaker 2: two months.
- 4:59Speaker 4: Do you feel like you still can't see where the
- 5:01Speaker 4: weight is being lost out?
- 5:03Speaker 2: Yeah, I don't, Well, I have I haven't choosing muscle.
- 5:05Speaker 3: Now, I'm not losing muscle because I'm eating all the
- 5:07Speaker 3: protein I'm getting. I'm measuring my muscle once a week.
- 5:10Speaker 2: Your muscle is going up, while your fat is.
- 5:12Speaker 3: My muscle's going up fast, going down. The visceral fat's
- 5:15Speaker 3: gone down. That's the part that you can't the fat
- 5:16Speaker 3: you can't see. It's the danger is completely changed now
- 5:19Speaker 3: as far as my brain goes, when I look at myself,
- 5:22Speaker 3: I'm like, you never warned that. Again, Look how fat
- 5:23Speaker 3: I am. That's a niche I have to deal with
- 5:25Speaker 3: psychologically with you know, therapists and whatnot. But does thing
- 5:28Speaker 3: And the reason I'm bringing up on the airs because
- 5:29Speaker 3: it's freaking amazing. That's why. So now blake my wife.
- 5:32Speaker 3: She's like gonna start doing it too. I started her
- 5:34Speaker 3: on some of the stuff, but I'm not sure if
- 5:36Speaker 3: I enjoy her lack of humor. What do you mean,
- 5:40Speaker 3: Like my jokes aren't landing right, I'll blame it.
- 5:44Speaker 2: You have no joy when you're because it, like it
- 5:47Speaker 2: supposedly like, stops the joy receptors in your brain. That's
- 5:49Speaker 2: why the food doesn't like.
- 5:51Speaker 3: There's like three different glps and the one that I
- 5:54Speaker 3: was on is the one that removes the joy.
- 5:56Speaker 2: But I feel okay on it. I don't.
- 5:58Speaker 3: I don't feel it, you know. But with the one
- 5:59Speaker 3: that she's is a different. She's on the tranepetide. She
- 6:02Speaker 3: started that one, and it's not the joy. She just
- 6:04Speaker 3: doesn't get jokes. Like I said something, you're losing weight.
- 6:09Speaker 3: She says that, like my son camp, he's he was
- 6:11Speaker 3: working with at GCU basketball camp and then he was
- 6:14Speaker 3: training people and he was helping the basketball thing and
- 6:16Speaker 3: he was really tired. And she was like, I told
- 6:18Speaker 3: him when he comes home, he needs to go right
- 6:20Speaker 3: to bed. I feel so bad, he's so tired. I go, hey,
- 6:22Speaker 3: the I felt for the last twenty years. She goes,
- 6:24Speaker 3: you know, that's not fair.
- 6:26Speaker 2: That's not fair. I'm always considered to myself, whoa jo
- 6:29Speaker 2: just jokes?
- 6:31Speaker 1: Joke so good anyway, So maybe you don't do the
- 6:35Speaker 1: trupetide so you can still laugh at things.
- 6:38Speaker 2: I'm in charge of her truepetide.
- 6:39Speaker 3: I can stop giving it to Herm's like giving.
- 6:42Speaker 2: Her salt water.
- 6:43Speaker 1: How many shots do you say that you have to
- 6:45Speaker 1: do like in a week.
- 6:46Speaker 2: Then if you're doing one, two, three, four, I think I.
- 6:52Speaker 3: Do five, So like one a day ish, Yeah, but
- 6:55Speaker 3: there's days where there's two or.
- 6:56Speaker 1: Three in the morning, is at all like just like
- 6:58Speaker 1: a like a.
- 6:58Speaker 2: In this one is the stomach. I do one in
- 7:00Speaker 2: the bud. I don't have to do it in the bud,
- 7:02Speaker 2: but I do it in the bud. The shot too.
- 7:05Speaker 3: Anyway, I'm gonna I'm gonna tell you what the company
- 7:07Speaker 3: name is what I was talking about, because I'm so
- 7:09Speaker 3: blown away with this company and I've never seen this before,
- 7:11Speaker 3: and I know that the guy behind it, what he
- 7:13Speaker 3: did to make this happen so that anybody in the
- 7:15Speaker 3: country can do it. It's via Wellness dot com v
- 7:19Speaker 3: y o r a wellness dot com And this part,
- 7:23Speaker 3: I'm gonna tell you that there is a promo code
- 7:24Speaker 3: and it's jj R. And I normally would just tell
- 7:27Speaker 3: you just to go there, but because I believe in
- 7:28Speaker 3: this so much and it really really really works, like
- 7:31Speaker 3: it's freaking amazing like I've never find I can only
- 7:34Speaker 3: assume this is what cocaine feels like?
- 7:36Speaker 2: Am I right?
- 7:36Speaker 1: Page actually matters that I literally just typed in viour
- 7:41Speaker 1: wellness and I would love to be on the high
- 7:42Speaker 1: that you're on.
- 7:43Speaker 3: So where do I find I have joy, Kyle, there's
- 7:46Speaker 3: joy here, so much joy.
- 7:48Speaker 2: I don't think you have that much joy. May tide
- 7:53Speaker 2: micro do this crazy maybe.
- 7:55Speaker 1: That exercise thing that's what people are taking at the gym,
- 7:58Speaker 1: because I've noticed these people. When I take these classes
- 8:01Speaker 1: at the gym, most of us are done and we
- 8:04Speaker 1: are lying on the floor trying to gasp for breath.
- 8:07Speaker 1: And then I see a couple of people just jump
- 8:08Speaker 1: on the tread bill because they want to exercise more.
- 8:11Speaker 2: That's me.
- 8:11Speaker 1: I think you people need boundaries first of all, boundaries.
- 8:14Speaker 2: But the class is over, You're supposed.
- 8:15Speaker 1: To be tired looking, and then you then you slump off.
- 8:17Speaker 1: Don't do an exercise after you exercise.
- 8:20Speaker 2: I've been working out.
- 8:21Speaker 3: I've been working out before I come in, then I
- 8:23Speaker 3: work out around noon, and then I go back and
- 8:25Speaker 3: work out about three or four o'clock. Wow, and I
- 8:27Speaker 3: can't stop like and it makes me want to like
- 8:30Speaker 3: like it's it's really I've never felt like this before.
- 8:32Speaker 3: Now when I get back to let me tell you
- 8:34Speaker 3: real quick, just to reak to end this whole thing.
- 8:36Speaker 3: When they're about joy, let me tell you what Sometimes
- 8:39Speaker 3: I because I heard there's no joy, right, but I'm
- 8:40Speaker 3: gonna beat.
- 8:41Speaker 2: This going to sound stupid, but it's the truth.
- 8:43Speaker 3: Like yesterday, Kyle improvised a foot photo shoot and I
- 8:46Speaker 3: was I was like on a high for like an hour.
- 8:49Speaker 3: I was like, that was such a great photo the
- 8:51Speaker 3: joy that I had, and I was like, hey, I'm
- 8:53Speaker 3: having joy.
- 8:55Speaker 2: Literally, I was like, so my joice is something, My
- 8:58Speaker 2: joy is not removed. It surprised you that you were
- 9:01Speaker 2: having joy.
- 9:02Speaker 3: Because I'm trying to pay attention to my joy and
- 9:05Speaker 3: believe it or not, my joy exists pretty much during
- 9:07Speaker 3: the morning show when I get home.
- 9:09Speaker 1: In real life, yeah, that's a whole different world, all right.
