- 0:00Have faith, live again, when it starts right now.
- 0:04Where do you find your journey and your path to be?
- 0:09Not so much as with our Heavenly Father. We've touched base on this before.
- 0:13I have mentioned to you many times, where is your path?
- 0:18What do you want to be in your life? But why am I bringing this up now?
- 0:23Because it is a true honor to tell you that today, when we air this,
- 0:31we are reaching a milestone.
- 0:35Dr. E is with us. And on behalf of all of us here and the team of Have Faith,
- 0:40Let It Begin, past, present, and future, we say, happy anniversary.
- 0:47This is the eighth season of Have Faith, Let It Begin, and it starts right now.
- 1:02Good morning. You're listening to Have Faith, Let It Begin, and it starts right now.
- 1:09Hello, everyone, and welcome to the eighth official season, eight years in the
- 1:13making, and I couldn't think of anybody else I wanted to join forces with and
- 1:18start our eighth season with than my good friend and co-pilot,
- 1:21Dr. E. Dr. E, happy anniversary.
- 1:24Angel, what a great honor it is to be on your eighth anniversary show.
- 1:28Now, you know, we've been having a little bit of fun over the years,
- 1:33making sure that you're counting correctly because your eighth season might
- 1:38be the seventh season of the fifth podcast of the fourth season.
- 1:41All right. What year did we start? Did you start? Have Faith Let It Begin.
- 1:47June 16th, 2018. All right. June to 2018.
- 1:53Okay, June. 18 to 19, 19 to 20, 20 to 21, 21 to 22, 22 to 23, 23 to 24, 25 to 26.
- 2:05That's seven seasons.
- 2:07We always count the first one. So remember, you told me, count the first season.
- 2:14So let me ask you this. So on our anniversary, the new, what would you say,
- 2:19the launch of the eighth season, How many episodes have you done?
- 2:24We are officially now at 2000, well, 2024 when this airs, can you,
- 2:31I'm going to, I'm going to interview you sort of like a news reporter interviewing
- 2:36you for this great, you know, this great accomplishment.
- 2:39Did you ever think that you would have 2000 episodes that have touched?
- 2:47I'm going to say if you've had 2,000 episodes, you've touched over 15,000 to 20,000 lives.
- 2:55Did you ever think that that would happen? No. I mean, I think that where we
- 3:00started in the beginning when I hit that record button, my goal was,
- 3:04hey, I don't know if I have a calling yet to be a minister.
- 3:07I know that I have a calling to try to help people. So let's try this radio
- 3:11slash podcasting world and see where it takes us. The reason why I have you
- 3:16on the show is because one of the things that you said to me when we first met was,
- 3:19really stuck and stuck a huge part of my heart.
- 3:24And it was, this is a lullaby. This is a, this took out a meaning when I became
- 3:30a parent. And this is a time capsule.
- 3:33So when I am going on to be with the Lord, my children are going to be able
- 3:36to listen to all these episodes.
- 3:38That being said, in addition to that, yes, my goal was always to try to change
- 3:44one person's life, one episode at a time.
- 3:47So when I hear you say that, I say to myself with the recent events of,
- 3:54you know, hey, congratulations, have faith.
- 3:56You guys did over 10,000 downloads, you know, in a certain amount of periods
- 4:02of times and hitting over 156,000 people listening within an eight year timeframe. frame.
- 4:09You got to remember, I used to go seven days a week and then I cut it down to five.
- 4:13And then, you know, it was, it was, it's been a rollercoaster event because
- 4:19I was trying to find who we were as a,
- 4:21as a podcast, but you helped signify and, and keep us grounded as to where we
- 4:27were going to be by just giving me fresh eyes and fresh ears.
- 4:30No, I appreciate that. And then if, You know, again, I think we are where we
- 4:36should be. We are where we need to be.
- 4:38And I think without your podcast, I don't think we would have the PROC podcast.
- 4:43And I don't think a lot of people would be where they are currently because
- 4:49of Have Faith, Let It Begin.
- 4:50So, of course, kudos for that. I have another question for you.
- 4:54What would you say was your most rewarding episode? episode.
- 5:02It's so funny you mentioned that. I was looking at pictures of all the thumbnails.
- 5:06Thumbnails are the pictures that used to be up for every episode.
- 5:09And I found an episode where we did a tribute to.
- 5:16It was right before COVID when there was a mass, unfortunately,
- 5:21a mass tragedy, another massacre shooting.
- 5:23And something told me that it was time to do an episode, a primetime episode.
- 5:27It was our first ever primetime episode where I wanted everybody to grab a candle.
- 5:33And I wanted them to hold the candle up for a few minutes while we prayed.
- 5:38I received a picture from Russia of three children and their mom sending good
- 5:48vibes to the United States from Russia.
- 5:50And I saw the picture of the three young kids holding a makeshift candle as
- 5:55they prayed and listened to our show.
- 5:56That was, that's when I realized we had something special.
- 6:00That's a great story. And then I remember, you know, my recollection is also
- 6:05the episode where you went viral on TikTok.
- 6:09Yeah. We had hit over 1.2 million and then we hit that, you know,
- 6:13that episode and we're, we had a couple more that's over the 800,000 mark,
- 6:1710,000 went to 800,000 and we're closing in on two more episodes.
- 6:23That, those episodes are on our website because they're, they're amazing.
- 6:27Listen, you know what I like about my show? the show
- 6:31is not just about angel being behind the mic it's just
- 6:34me trying to find ways to
- 6:37utilize what's happening in my life to
- 6:40relate to others and sometimes i use that as therapy for me so my therapy is
- 6:47getting out my frustrations getting out how i feel and not realizing that when
- 6:52i do that it's it's striking nerves and and and people are writing back saying how did you no,
- 6:59I was feeling that way. I'm like, I didn't. This is what I'm feeling.
- 7:02And we don't go through it alone, but we need somebody to announce that.
- 7:06It's kind of like what you do on your show.
- 7:07Yeah, no, I appreciate that. That's a great answer. I also think that your honesty
- 7:12and your transparency and your.
- 7:15You know, your sharing of your private life. I was just listening to your sermon
- 7:20from Sunday and you, you know,
- 7:23mentioned 2015 when you and Rachel were having some difficulties while you were
- 7:28dating and how that transpired and how it, you know, affected you and how you
- 7:32were able to, you know, God guided you by connecting the dots and how God always guides us.
- 7:37And I think that to use your own sermon and kind of turn it on,
- 7:41on it, on its head for this particular anniversary podcast, you know,
- 7:47it is all about connecting the dots and those dots are the dots that are created by God.
- 7:52And we just have to be patient and we have to connect each dot over the years
- 7:57until we get a clear picture of what it is that God has in store for us.
- 8:02So I think that, you know, half faith, let it begin, you know,
- 8:06is about connecting the dots and your spirituality and your inspiration.
- 8:10And I've always said, angel, you were the one who sort of reignited that inner,
- 8:15you know, that inner spirituality in me, which I had lost that light had dimmed.
- 8:21And I would, you know, dare to say, I am not the only one.
- 8:25So congratulations on a great, great accomplishment.
- 8:29And I wish you another 88,000 years of podcasting.
- 8:35Who knows? Maybe doing this from heaven, that'd be one heck of a signal. That's for sure.
- 8:39I want to first, I want to close out this way before we go into a prayer.
- 8:43It has been eight long years and I hope to have eight to 10,
- 8:48like Dr. E said, more years ahead of me.
- 8:50So I want to say this, it takes a team to make this happen.
- 8:56So first and foremost, I have to start off by thanking my mom and dad for always
- 9:01believing in me and being my first to go to, if I've seen, we make up words, right?
- 9:08First team that I go to when I have ideas and they're always willing to listen
- 9:13to them and tell me what they think is good and what's not good.
- 9:17But I also want to thank my wife, celebrating now 10 years of marriage,
- 9:21also in that same month, 20 years together in January.
- 9:25And, you know, someone who has truly been an inspiration to me and also a driving
- 9:30force by watching the kids while I record.
- 9:33And of course, to my amazing children that inspire me each and every day to be a better father,
- 9:39a better person, and a better individual, and also one to be a future pastor
- 9:44in the making so that I can be a golden light for them. a guiding light to others.
- 9:49I also wanna thank every single person that has come onto our show,
- 9:52which I welcome anyone to come on and use a platform to share their future life messages.
- 9:59People like Carol, people like Nicolanza, and so many other people that have
- 10:04been on this show, Michael John Benzea, there's so many of you.
- 10:08I would also like to big thanks to our co-host on Mondays where I believe that
- 10:13God sent me a vessel in the form of Dr.
- 10:16E who has become my best friend, a mentor of my own.
- 10:19And I want to thank him for also saying to me, Hey, I didn't like that intro.
- 10:24Hey, get rid of that young lady that you had that third season. It stunk.
- 10:28I'll never forget that. I was so excited for that one. And he just shot it down
- 10:32and we didn't even go with it.
- 10:33So I think it'll only got aired twice if that.
- 10:36And And finally, to my spiritual mentor, Pastor Jim, who continues to make me
- 10:41a better future pastor in the making.
- 10:42Thank you for everyone out there that continues to give us hope, guidance, and support.
- 10:47And we want to thank you for being a listener for the last eight years.
- 10:51And if you thought the first seven years were interesting,
- 10:55you haven't seen anything yet because the ideas that I have for this season
- 11:01will knock you out of your socks because a A lot of things are coming back and
- 11:06some new ideas are going to just blow this podcast out of the water. So stay tuned.
- 11:11Promise us that you'll give us at least one crazy date episode.
- 11:15Oh, they're coming back on a weekly basis, my friend. I still got a lot more to go.
- 11:19So with that being said, let's do a prayer. Heavenly Father,
- 11:21it is a celebration. Today is a beautiful day.
- 11:24Today is the day that the Lord has made. We ask you to rejoice and be glad in
- 11:27it. This is the day that we launch podcasts and say thank you to people like Dr.
- 11:34E and the Kroc podcast, people like Clinton, who also was a huge instrument in this last season,
- 11:41being a huge part of showing us another side of overcoming amazing obstacles
- 11:47and now has his own podcast called The Beat of Hope.
- 11:50So yes, we have had some spinoffs coming from this, and I'm so honored and proud
- 11:55of each and every one of you that accomplished that.
- 11:57And lastly, should be first, but at this point, lastly, my heavenly father,
- 12:02a man who is always with me through thick and thin, who when I feel at my lowest
- 12:07points, always picks me up and says, I've got you because I believe in you.
- 12:11I trust you and I'll never leave your side.
- 12:14On behalf of all of us here at Have Faith, Let It Begin, happy anniversary.
- 12:18This is my gift to you, and I hope that you will celebrate it with me moving
- 12:22forward and never forget.
- 12:24Have faith, let it begin times eight, baby. Happy anniversary, guys.
