- 0:00SPEAKER_00: Sometimes the text line that we use through the app, whether it's Wink 106, Twin Tears Magic, or My Radio, jams all the three stations that the Scott Nalley show lives on.
- 0:08SPEAKER_00: Uh sometimes you guys are great for filling in my mental blanks because my mind just wasn't working there.
- 0:13SPEAKER_00: I was we were talking about Chris and whether or not he could listen to uh to us when he's in Italy for a nine-day trip that he's leaving for on Thursday.
- 0:21SPEAKER_00: Love the commitment.
- 0:22SPEAKER_00: That is awesome.
- 0:23SPEAKER_00: And actually, doing the math on that, I think you'd be listening to us in the afternoon there.
- 0:28SPEAKER_00: We'd be live.
- 0:29SPEAKER_00: Oh.
- 0:30SPEAKER_00: Six hours ahead.
- 0:31SPEAKER_01: Hold on a second.
- 0:32SPEAKER_01: Are you sure it's six hours?
- 0:33SPEAKER_01: I'm not sure.
- 0:33SPEAKER_01: I I don't know.
- 0:34SPEAKER_00: I don't know behind.
- 0:35SPEAKER_01: Honestly, I can't remember.
- 0:36SPEAKER_00: I remember the six-hour time difference from here to London, and I'm trying to remember if it's ahead or well, someone will text us and figure that one out.
- 0:43SPEAKER_01: Oh, here.
- 0:44SPEAKER_01: It is uh right now it's about 12 30.
- 0:47SPEAKER_00: Oh yeah, it's in the afternoon.
- 0:49SPEAKER_00: We'll have lunch together in Italy, Chris.
- 0:51SPEAKER_00: That's right.
- 0:52SPEAKER_00: Because Natalie did say she said that her son just got back from a uh trip to Italy and was able to listen to us there.
- 1:00SPEAKER_00: And he, oh my god, Europe for 22 days.
- 1:03SPEAKER_00: How fun is that?
- 1:04SPEAKER_00: Wow.
- 1:04SPEAKER_00: And he was trying to win the birthday wheel, which would have been the biggest long-distance birthday wheel we've ever had.
- 1:11SPEAKER_01: Also, love the commitment.
- 1:13SPEAKER_00: Yes.
- 1:14SPEAKER_01: Every Friday, 7:30, we're doing that birthday wheel.
- 1:17SPEAKER_01: And we have not given any money away since we started in May, which means we're over$1,300 right now because we've rolled it over.
- 1:26SPEAKER_01: Every time someone hasn't gotten it, just keep rolling it over.
- 1:28SPEAKER_00: Just keep rolling it over.
- 1:29SPEAKER_00: Hesselson has got to be sitting there going, Jesus, this check I'm gonna have to write.
- 1:33SPEAKER_00: That's right.
- 1:33SPEAKER_00: That's right.
- 1:35SPEAKER_00: Sponsor it.
- 1:35SPEAKER_00: Thank you.
- 1:36SPEAKER_01: This Friday, you got to get the day, the month, and the year.
- 1:38SPEAKER_01: And if you get that birthday, you're gonna get all of that money money as long as you call us back within 10 minutes and six seconds.
- 1:46SPEAKER_01: So thank you for listening in Italy.
- 1:48unknown: Yeah.
- 1:49SPEAKER_01: Listen in Italy, you guys can listen in the twin tiers.
- 1:52SPEAKER_01: Because I can't even tell you how many times we get text messages.
- 1:55SPEAKER_01: Oh, I forgot.
- 1:56SPEAKER_00: Well, could you imagine if Chris is sitting at a cafe in Italy around lunchtime ordering a fresh uh margarita pizza?
- 2:03SPEAKER_00: Oh, okay.
- 2:03SPEAKER_00: And you gotta have that when you're over there, I guess.
- 2:06SPEAKER_00: Why would you?
- 2:06SPEAKER_00: I don't know.
- 2:07SPEAKER_00: I it depends on if where you're going in Italy, but you're sitting there having your lunch and all of it because that's the time we'd be on there.
- 2:13SPEAKER_00: Sipping on lemoncello.
- 2:14SPEAKER_00: And all of a sudden we spin his birthday and he he calls, he goes, Oh, what's the matter to me?
- 2:18SPEAKER_00: I gotta win.
- 2:19SPEAKER_00: I'm like, how'd you get the accent already?
- 2:21SPEAKER_00: I love it.
- 2:22SPEAKER_00: Which it be all right.
- 2:22SPEAKER_00: Listen, we got a lot of text to go through because all of a sudden everybody came to the table on Winston's bum joint where it's starting to affect him.
- 2:30SPEAKER_00: Do you want to start down there and move up?
- 2:32SPEAKER_00: Because even Doug, uh Doug, I have to say, you finally became useful.
- 2:37SPEAKER_00: You explained to us what we couldn't figure out on why this nice or nysades uh shouldn't be given to dogs, which is like Tylenol and stuff like that.
- 2:46SPEAKER_01: Okay, you go ahead.
- 2:47SPEAKER_01: Read that one first.
- 2:48SPEAKER_00: Uh I thought you had it.
- 2:49SPEAKER_00: I have to go look for it again.
- 2:50SPEAKER_00: Hang on a second.
- 2:51SPEAKER_00: Oh, Doug?
- 2:52SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 2:53SPEAKER_00: NSAIDs.
- 2:54SPEAKER_01: That's non-steroidal, anti-inflammatory drug.
- 2:57SPEAKER_00: There you go.
- 2:58SPEAKER_01: So you don't want to do CBD.
- 3:00SPEAKER_00: No.
- 3:01SPEAKER_01: So you want to do I'd like a supplement to start first.
- 3:04SPEAKER_01: Okay.
- 3:05SPEAKER_01: Then here's a couple texts about that.
- 3:07SPEAKER_01: Your vet can give you gabapentin for him.
- 3:10SPEAKER_01: It helps with joints and muscle aches.
- 3:12SPEAKER_01: It also, I know for Junior has they say that it's supposed to knock a dog out a little bit.
- 3:18SPEAKER_01: Not like totally, but like chill them out a little bit.
- 3:21SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 3:21SPEAKER_01: And it does not work for Junior.
- 3:23SPEAKER_01: Oh, yeah.
- 3:24SPEAKER_01: I've tried to give it to him before the vet because he's naughty at the vet.
- 3:27SPEAKER_01: Not the vet, uh, the groomer.
- 3:28SPEAKER_01: The groomer.
- 3:29SPEAKER_01: And he just is still too amped up.
- 3:32SPEAKER_01: Um, then we also have this one.
- 3:34SPEAKER_01: Uh oh, somebody takes an NSAID themselves for a herniated disc.
- 3:39SPEAKER_01: Oh, anyway, that's here nor there.
- 3:40SPEAKER_00: Okay, glad that works for you.
- 3:42SPEAKER_01: Good, everyone.
- 3:42SPEAKER_01: I give my dog Dassaquin for joint health, and it's worked wonders.
- 3:46SPEAKER_00: That's what you said.
- 3:46SPEAKER_01: The vet kept trying to prescribe meds that sedated my dog, and with these, she's like a whole new dog.
- 3:51SPEAKER_00: That's what I'm trying to avoid is the uh uh sedation or the I I I'm just not ready.
- 3:57SPEAKER_00: I'm not ready for the dog to have to be medicated to relax, if that makes sense.
- 4:02SPEAKER_01: Yes, and then they let them live a little.
- 4:03SPEAKER_01: This person says tractor supply cells hip and joint biscuits that work great for our shepherd.
- 4:08SPEAKER_01: And then somebody else says, I buy a dog, I buy my dog a powder that has glucosamine, mushrooms in it, etc.
- 4:15SPEAKER_01: You know, you know what you guys should be.
- 4:16SPEAKER_00: You'll be hallucinating.
- 4:17SPEAKER_00: He'll see 12 dogs.
- 4:19SPEAKER_01: You should Oh, different mushrooms.
- 4:21SPEAKER_01: Now text us the link to all of those things.
- 4:24SPEAKER_01: Oh, that'd be helpful.
- 4:26SPEAKER_00: Oh my god, that'd be great.
- 4:27SPEAKER_01: And then this one last one.
- 4:28SPEAKER_01: Good everyone, Scott.
- 4:29SPEAKER_01: I get Dasiquin joint health at Sam's Club for my dog.
- 4:32SPEAKER_01: He loves it.
- 4:32SPEAKER_01: He's eight now, and I actually started him on it when I got him from the shelter as a puppy, as I knew he would be a bigger dog, 75 pounds.
- 4:39SPEAKER_01: Uh oh.
- 4:40SPEAKER_01: And I wanted to keep his joints healthy to support his weight.
- 4:43unknown: Okay.
- 4:44SPEAKER_01: So I think that Dasiquin, at this point, it sounds like that's what you want to do.
- 4:48SPEAKER_00: That may be the one.
- 4:49SPEAKER_00: Uh, one last quick note, and I want to thank everybody that texted this.
- 4:52SPEAKER_00: And I'm just gonna mention a bunch of people texted this in because we were talking about can you listen in Italy on the app.
- 4:59SPEAKER_00: Natalie confirmed you can.
- 5:01SPEAKER_00: And uh, but then we got on the subject.
- 5:02SPEAKER_00: I said, well, if I went to Lake England, I couldn't watch Paramount Plus there because it knows I'm in a different region, if you will.
- 5:10SPEAKER_00: And I was trying to think of that that uh what it is that masks your location.
- 5:14SPEAKER_00: It's a VPN, and why I didn't think of a VPN when we were talking about it, my brain was elsewhere.
- 5:20SPEAKER_00: But thank you to everybody that texted that.
- 5:22SPEAKER_00: So now we're good.
- 5:23SPEAKER_00: In a minute.
- 5:24SPEAKER_00: Can we please cover the uh San Francisco 49ers CEO that got busted for uh attempting to solicit a prostitute?
- 5:34SPEAKER_01: Yes.
- 5:35SPEAKER_00: It's not so much that that's shocking because Is it the price tag?
- 5:40SPEAKER_01: No.
- 5:40SPEAKER_01: Oh, because that's the part that got me.
- 5:42SPEAKER_00: Okay, yes, yes, that's a piece to it.
- 5:44SPEAKER_00: Uh-huh.
- 5:44SPEAKER_00: There are a few parts to this story that when I heard this, I'm like Price tag and location.
- 5:50SPEAKER_00: I'm like Yes, yes.
- 5:51SPEAKER_00: That you're you're on the right path.
- 5:53SPEAKER_00: We'll get there.
- 5:53SPEAKER_00: Mm-hmm.
