- 0:02Speaker 1: One of my favorite parts of Facebook is the on
- 0:05Speaker 1: this Day feature, and you just click on it and
- 0:09Speaker 1: it shows you all the things that you posted on
- 0:12Speaker 1: this day since you'd been on Facebook. And usually it's
- 0:16Speaker 1: a lot of cringey things that why did I post
- 0:18Speaker 1: that in two thousand and nine?
- 0:19Speaker 2: But do you rather not remember exactly?
- 0:23Speaker 1: But sometimes a gem pops up, and this one popped
- 0:27Speaker 1: up for me on this day.
- 0:30Speaker 3: Six years ago.
- 0:32Speaker 1: I was potty training Liam and this is the gem
- 0:36Speaker 1: that he provided Liam Stop bitter little editing and there, Yeah, so.
- 0:47Speaker 3: Play it one more time.
- 0:48Speaker 1: But we had to mishmash the bad word he said, Liam, Stop.
- 0:59Speaker 2: Liam says a naughty word in there.
- 1:01Speaker 1: Yes, he says the F bomb and sir, you have
- 1:05Speaker 1: a potty mouth, literally on the potty.
- 1:08Speaker 3: It was too hilarious not to share.
- 1:11Speaker 1: But I feel bad that I laughed because they always
- 1:14Speaker 1: say like that encourages your kids to swear more.
- 1:18Speaker 3: I do, however, want to clear my name.
- 1:20Speaker 2: Yeah I know who he learned that from.
- 1:23Speaker 3: It was not me, No, it wasn't.
- 1:26Speaker 1: I do have a potty mouth, how edver, I have
- 1:29Speaker 1: been very trained because I'm in radio, so I don't
- 1:32Speaker 1: say bad words on the radio. And I have a
- 1:35Speaker 1: mother who would kill me if I said bad words.
- 1:37Speaker 1: So I know how to turn it on and off
- 1:39Speaker 1: like a switch. And so I made a very concerted
- 1:42Speaker 1: effort to not swear in front of my children, which
- 1:45Speaker 1: means that the potty mouth that came from his dad,
- 1:48Speaker 1: that wasn't me.
- 1:50Speaker 2: I didn't do that, you think.
- 1:51Speaker 1: So when your kid inevitably says a bad word when
- 1:56Speaker 1: she gets to that age, who will be responsible for that?
- 1:59Speaker 1: Who's the pottymouth in your family?
- 2:01Speaker 2: Well? You know the answer to that.
- 2:03Speaker 3: It's you, right, little old me?
- 2:06Speaker 2: Yes, yeah, it would be me.
- 2:08Speaker 4: Corey doesn't swear a ton, not like rarely, but not
- 2:11Speaker 4: off not often either. It's very you know, level headed
- 2:15Speaker 4: with her use of explicit language.
- 2:17Speaker 3: Okay, well we'll be blaming you.
- 2:19Speaker 1: Then, well, who is the cause of the potty mouth
- 2:22Speaker 1: for your kids? Seven oh one to one nine eight seven?
- 2:26Speaker 1: I don't swear, and my kid did.
- 2:29Speaker 2: I don't.
- 2:30Speaker 4: That's the first time you had ever heard him use
- 2:32Speaker 4: some interesting language?
- 2:34Speaker 3: Wow, yes, that was the first time.
- 2:36Speaker 4: I can't wait for that moment when Corey stares at
- 2:38Speaker 4: me and goes, I went, And where does he learned that?
- 2:39Speaker 2: Probably you and your buddy something like that.
- 2:43Speaker 4: Jason is on the phone here, Jason, who's to blame
- 2:47Speaker 4: for the potty mouth of your child?
- 2:49Speaker 5: My parents cursed like it's in their religion.
- 2:51Speaker 2: Talk to him about it.
- 2:52Speaker 1: But it's hard to change how someone that age talk.
- 2:54Speaker 5: My kids have repeated a few things, but we've been
- 2:57Speaker 5: pretty much on.
- 2:58Speaker 4: Top of it.
- 2:58Speaker 2: It's good. It's good to I respect.
- 3:00Speaker 4: Good to blame grandparents because no one ever blames grandma
- 3:04Speaker 4: or grandpa.
- 3:05Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 3:05Speaker 2: Oh yeah, actually I think I now have it out,
- 3:09Speaker 2: Thank you, dad. We do have.
- 3:11Speaker 4: Tara also on the phone, Tara, what who's to blame
- 3:14Speaker 4: for your kid's potty mouth moment?
- 3:16Speaker 1: I blame daycare for months, and then one day I
- 3:18Speaker 1: stuff my toe and let out a very passionate string
- 3:21Speaker 1: of words, and from the other room, I just hear
- 3:23Speaker 1: my kid go, oh.
- 3:25Speaker 3: That's a new one. So yeah, it turns out daycare
- 3:28Speaker 3: is innocent and I'm the problem.
- 3:29Speaker 4: You know that's great, you know we like though, someone
- 3:33Speaker 4: taking accountability.
- 3:34Speaker 2: Yes, self awareness.
- 3:35Speaker 5: Good for you, Tara celebrating life's little victories. Every morning
- 3:43Speaker 5: we practice gratitude on big ninety eight point step.
- 3:46Speaker 2: If I could, I would keep this feeling in a basket.
- 3:48Speaker 2: Job busted out when it was someone's acting hard.
- 3:51Speaker 5: Sure your little victories with us at seven oh one, two,
- 3:55Speaker 5: eight oh one, ninety eight seven kids, I also needed
- 3:58Speaker 5: to win that day.
- 4:01Speaker 4: And Angie, do you have a little victory for us
- 4:03Speaker 4: here today? It was a nice long weekend. Yesterday was
- 4:06Speaker 4: gorgeous outside. Yeah, I can only imagine you know what
- 4:09Speaker 4: you and maybe the kiddos got up to watching golf.
- 4:12Speaker 2: I know you talked about watching that all weekend. Do
- 4:14Speaker 2: you have a little victory from that?
- 4:16Speaker 5: Yeah?
- 4:16Speaker 3: Well, we did go touch grass for a little bit.
- 4:18Speaker 1: We went to the park for a little while, and
- 4:20Speaker 1: that was great because I love for the kids to
- 4:22Speaker 1: get outside and get some fresh air, but to go
- 4:25Speaker 1: hand in hand with that.
- 4:26Speaker 3: Ever since we moved here, I've been trying.
- 4:29Speaker 1: To figure out what activity I can get Liam into.
- 4:35Speaker 3: He's a very artsy kid.
- 4:37Speaker 1: He loves to draw and stuff, but in terms of
- 4:39Speaker 1: like getting out and maybe playing a sport, I don't
- 4:41Speaker 1: want to put him in something he hates.
- 4:43Speaker 3: So I've been struggling to figure out what it is that.
- 4:46Speaker 2: He wants to do. And Liam is Angie's younger one
- 4:49Speaker 2: is yes eight year old.
- 4:50Speaker 3: Yeah, he'll be nine at the end. Of this month.
- 4:52Speaker 3: That's crazy, but we have finally locked in.
- 4:56Speaker 1: Liam has decided he wants to golf a I love
- 5:00Speaker 1: it so excited. We've been to Sweet Shots a few
- 5:03Speaker 1: times and Mikey, my guy, is like he loves to golf,
- 5:07Speaker 1: and he has always said like, Liam's got a really
- 5:10Speaker 1: nice swing, like we could train him up and he
- 5:13Speaker 1: could really do.
- 5:14Speaker 3: Work on the golf cours.
- 5:16Speaker 2: I love train him up.
- 5:18Speaker 1: And then you know, we had him watch the documentary
- 5:21Speaker 1: with us about Rory McIlroy. He watched the Masters and
- 5:24Speaker 1: Liam said, I think I want to do golf. I
- 5:26Speaker 1: love this golf and I'm like, yes, you can do golf.
- 5:29Speaker 1: So we finally know what sport Liam is going to play,
- 5:33Speaker 1: and I'm very excited that it's golf and not something
- 5:37Speaker 1: more violent.
- 5:38Speaker 4: Well, I think you'll be very glad it's golf until
- 5:41Speaker 4: you get through that first summer and you realized, wow,
- 5:44Speaker 4: I'm broke.
- 5:45Speaker 3: Well then can well, Mike is the one who wants
- 5:48Speaker 3: to train them up.
- 5:49Speaker 2: You're right, that sounds like a Mikey problem. That's right.
- 5:52Speaker 2: I love. I think that's wonderful for Liam, my little victory.
- 5:57Speaker 4: I'm not sure. I think it's just yesterday as a whole. Yes,
- 6:00Speaker 4: it was so nice to be outside. I was outside
- 6:04Speaker 4: with my dog. We have a neighbor who has a
- 6:07Speaker 4: dog who's about Wanona's age, and I was playing fetch
- 6:10Speaker 4: and then their dogs saw her outside was whining, so
- 6:13Speaker 4: they opened the door and he came sprinting over so
- 6:16Speaker 4: they could play. And I was just outside in like
- 6:19Speaker 4: bare feet, a T shirt, some shorts, just sitting in
- 6:22Speaker 4: the backyard with Corey watching these two dogs just sprint around.
- 6:25Speaker 4: It was a very nice, like, oh yeah, warm weather
- 6:28Speaker 4: is right around the corner moment. Yeah, And it was
- 6:30Speaker 4: just kind of cool and Winona got to run around
- 6:32Speaker 4: for a little bit with her buddy and it was
- 6:34Speaker 4: just nice.
- 6:35Speaker 2: That kind of was a little victory.
- 6:37Speaker 3: This sounds like a Norman Rockwell pain too.
- 6:39Speaker 4: I like, yeah, it's just two people sitting on these
- 6:42Speaker 4: lean back chairs, a couple of dogs playing in the
- 6:44Speaker 4: in the backyard.
- 6:45Speaker 2: But no, it was just nice because it had been
- 6:48Speaker 2: just not great weather.
- 6:49Speaker 4: It had been super windy, and yeah, it's just kind
- 6:52Speaker 4: of when it's super windy, you can still do it,
- 6:55Speaker 4: but it's a lot harder to go for walks, to
- 6:56Speaker 4: like motivate yourself to go to it. So it was
- 7:00Speaker 4: really nice for her to be able to run around
- 7:01Speaker 4: and play with her buddy yesterday and I didn't have
- 7:03Speaker 4: to wear shoes outside.
- 7:04Speaker 2: I'll take that whenever I can get it.
- 7:06Speaker 4: Yeah, things are evolving ever so quickly for baby g
- 7:17Speaker 4: at the Glidden House. Yesterday, my wife and I went
- 7:20Speaker 4: to this thing and I'll be honest, I can't even
- 7:22Speaker 4: remember exactly what it was called. I think it was
- 7:24Speaker 4: called the Baby Expo, but we went to one of
- 7:28Speaker 4: the hospitals here in the FM area and they had
- 7:32Speaker 4: all of these like vendors or experts I guess you
- 7:35Speaker 4: would say, and you kind of just walked around to
- 7:37Speaker 4: each booth and ask questions in their expertise.
- 7:42Speaker 2: Right.
- 7:42Speaker 4: They all had kind of signs saying what they would
- 7:46Speaker 4: know the most about, you know, mental health, postpartum stuff,
- 7:49Speaker 4: baby exercises, pelvic floor which had some incredible diagrams, I
- 7:56Speaker 4: will say, But.
- 7:59Speaker 2: It was it was just a really fun time.
- 8:01Speaker 4: But the most exciting part, you know, we got to
- 8:03Speaker 4: talk to everyone and if we had any little questions.
- 8:06Speaker 4: You know, there was a booth about genetics and I
- 8:08Speaker 4: was like, oh, is it gonna look like me? And
- 8:11Speaker 4: of course the lady behind the booths.
- 8:13Speaker 2: She laughed.
- 8:13Speaker 4: She goes, yeah, everyone asks that, like, no, we can't
- 8:15Speaker 4: figure that out, but here's what we can do, and YadA.
- 8:17Speaker 2: YadA, YadA.
- 8:18Speaker 3: What did you guys do? What are those Punnett squares?
- 8:21Speaker 2: No, no, we did not do that.
- 8:24Speaker 4: It was more for if they were gonna have certain
- 8:27Speaker 4: things in their DNA, like when they were born, and
- 8:30Speaker 4: what you could do or could not do about certain
- 8:33Speaker 4: things and whatever. And one of the most exciting parts
- 8:36Speaker 4: is we got to tour where baby G.
- 8:39Speaker 2: Will be born.
- 8:40Speaker 4: We got to go to the birthing room and then
- 8:42Speaker 4: I don't know this secondary room. I don't exactly know
- 8:44Speaker 4: what that room's called. But and i'll tell you what.
- 8:47Speaker 2: I'm so jet The birthing room has a jacuzzie in
- 8:51Speaker 2: it and I can go in it.
- 8:52Speaker 4: I thought maybe this would be for mom only. What Yeah,
- 8:56Speaker 4: there's a jacuzzi in there and I can go in it.
- 8:59Speaker 4: You know. I got on some swim trunks or basketball
- 9:01Speaker 4: sorts of something. Obviously Corey can go in there for sure.
- 9:04Speaker 4: But we got to do a tour of this whole area.
- 9:07Speaker 4: And I'll tell you what, it was really cool. It
- 9:09Speaker 4: was fun to kind of be prepped and I can say, hey,
- 9:12Speaker 4: we've been here when we have the big day of it.
- 9:15Speaker 3: Yeah, it doesn't feel like scary, like.
- 9:17Speaker 1: You don't know what's going on, because I imagine if
- 9:20Speaker 1: you had not toured it the very first time he
- 9:22Speaker 1: stepped in there and saw jacuzzie, I think you would
- 9:26Speaker 1: be confused.
- 9:26Speaker 2: It feels like a little hotel room kind of.
- 9:28Speaker 3: This is so cool.
- 9:30Speaker 1: I the last time I had a baby was one
- 9:33Speaker 1: hundred and seventy nine years ago.
- 9:34Speaker 3: No, it was almost it'll be nine years, nine years.
- 9:37Speaker 2: Yeah, there was no jacuzzie. Yeah, there's is the jacuzzie.
- 9:43Speaker 1: Okay, if it's that the mom wants to I'm so
- 9:46Speaker 1: fascin yes, because if the mom goes in there, is
- 9:49Speaker 1: it because it doubles as a birthing tub or it's
- 9:53Speaker 1: just for mom to relax.
- 9:54Speaker 3: I do not understand why there's a jacuzzie.
- 9:57Speaker 2: I'm sure it's a relax thing. It could be a
- 9:59Speaker 2: birthing tub. I get yes, I didn't ask that question.
- 10:01Speaker 3: The only thing that came to mind was can I
- 10:03Speaker 3: use that.
- 10:04Speaker 2: That's exactly what I thought. That's exactly what I thought.
- 10:07Speaker 4: But yeah, I think it's meant for relaxing and relaxing
- 10:11Speaker 4: muscles and things like that, or I don't know, play time.
- 10:15Speaker 1: You know, sometimes dad is the one that needs to
- 10:18Speaker 1: be relaxed.
- 10:19Speaker 2: That's right.
- 10:20Speaker 4: And it was really really cool. So a big shout
- 10:22Speaker 4: out to the Baby Expo yesterday. And there were a
- 10:24Speaker 4: lot of people in there, and I've said this before
- 10:26Speaker 4: here on Big ninety eight point seven. There were a
- 10:28Speaker 4: lot of couples in there, a lot of moms in
- 10:29Speaker 4: there thinking, oh, man, my kids might go to school
- 10:32Speaker 4: with your kid. Yeah, which is very cool. And it
- 10:34Speaker 4: was just fun to see all the people in there,
- 10:36Speaker 4: and you know, you know, it's like we're all asking
- 10:38Speaker 4: each other questions, but you go in little groups and
- 10:40Speaker 4: you know, you can kind of shoot the breeze with
- 10:42Speaker 4: your group mates and it was a good time. This
- 10:45Speaker 4: one guy was joking around about with the TV in
- 10:48Speaker 4: the room, and our tour guide answered this question that
- 10:52Speaker 4: I never thought would be possible, but it was funny.
- 10:55Speaker 4: And he had joked like, oh, can I bring the
- 10:57Speaker 4: Xbox just you know, as a as a I comment,
- 11:00Speaker 4: And the lady was like, well, yeah, actually you could.
- 11:03Speaker 4: If you know, mom wants to play a little Xbox
- 11:07Speaker 4: and you want to play, you can bring an Xbox
- 11:08Speaker 4: into this.
- 11:09Speaker 1: I'm telling you right now, Gabe, don't you dare dream
- 11:13Speaker 1: of playing cod while Corey.
- 11:16Speaker 3: Is in labor?
- 11:18Speaker 2: Could you imagine?
- 11:19Speaker 3: I could imagine.
- 11:20Speaker 2: That's my concern, but it was very.
- 11:23Speaker 4: Cool, So a big shout out to the baby expoll.
- 11:25Speaker 4: We got a bunch of things to read and as
- 11:28Speaker 4: prepped as you could possibly be. I think we are
- 11:31Speaker 4: as prepped as someone could be. Obviously you don't exactly
- 11:34Speaker 4: know what. No, you never have a clue what to do,
- 11:36Speaker 4: and you can be as prepped.
- 11:37Speaker 2: As you want.
- 11:38Speaker 4: But it is nice to have these things to go
- 11:41Speaker 4: back to and be like, hey, I learned this, I
- 11:42Speaker 4: learned this, I can't do this, can't do this, and
- 11:44Speaker 4: those things. So it's nice to have, you know, a
- 11:46Speaker 4: little Swiss army knife of baby knowledge.
- 11:48Speaker 3: Do you know what this means?
- 11:49Speaker 2: Gabe?
- 11:50Speaker 3: Is that coming up soon? I'm going to give you
- 11:52Speaker 3: another dad quiz.
- 11:54Speaker 1: To see what you've learned, what you've retained, what you've
- 11:57Speaker 1: already forgotten.
- 12:01Speaker 2: This is am I the problem. It's me, hill On
- 12:07Speaker 2: the problem. It's me. We'll hear one side of the
- 12:09Speaker 2: story and with your help, am I the.
- 12:11Speaker 5: Problem with you decide if it's right or if maybe
- 12:15Speaker 5: you're the problem, I'm hardly the problem.
- 12:17Speaker 2: On Big ninety eight point.
- 12:18Speaker 3: Seven, Ellie wrote into us, and I'll just get right
- 12:23Speaker 3: to it. Hi, I'm Ellie. She had a lot of.
- 12:26Speaker 2: Eyes in that a dad that shows some excitement.
- 12:28Speaker 1: Yes, I listened to you all the time, and now
- 12:30Speaker 1: I'm sending you an email for am I the problem?
- 12:33Speaker 3: Crazy?
- 12:33Speaker 2: It's weird how you get roped in anyway, I have.
- 12:37Speaker 1: A new boyfriend and it was totally love at first
- 12:40Speaker 1: sight type vibes. It's been a few weeks and he
- 12:43Speaker 1: met my friends for the first time on Friday. We
- 12:45Speaker 1: were at a bar and by the time he got there,
- 12:47Speaker 1: we were all tipsy. He had worked all day and
- 12:50Speaker 1: wasn't totally joining in because he was tired, but I
- 12:53Speaker 1: thought it was a good time. Apparently my girlfriends thought
- 12:56Speaker 1: he was a kill joy, and he thought my friends
- 12:58Speaker 1: were doing too much.
- 13:00Speaker 3: But my friends are my everything. So should I just
- 13:02Speaker 3: cut him off? They are saying I should.
- 13:05Speaker 2: That's insane. Oh sorry, go ahead, No, that's it.
- 13:08Speaker 3: That's yeah. They're saying I gues should, So I guess
- 13:11Speaker 3: the question is should she cut him off?
- 13:13Speaker 5: No?
- 13:13Speaker 3: Girl, your friends from that one interaction were like cut
- 13:19Speaker 3: him off.
- 13:20Speaker 2: Yeah, that's crazy.
- 13:20Speaker 1: That sounds like your friends don't want you to find love.
- 13:24Speaker 1: That is wild to.
- 13:25Speaker 2: Me, or they don't like him.
- 13:27Speaker 4: Maybe they got a vibe early and did a little
- 13:29Speaker 4: girl's trip to the bathroom and they're like, hey, are
- 13:31Speaker 4: you picking.
- 13:31Speaker 2: Up on this? So maybe you never know?
- 13:34Speaker 3: Oh yeah, well she said, okay.
- 13:35Speaker 1: So she said that he had worked all day so
- 13:37Speaker 1: he wasn't totally joining in, which I totally get if
- 13:40Speaker 1: you're like tired already and then you meet up with
- 13:43Speaker 1: a group of girls that are all tipsy.
- 13:45Speaker 3: I've been the girl that's been tipsy and I he
- 13:51Speaker 3: said that they were doing too much. Probably correct.
- 13:55Speaker 1: However, for the friend, I just think for the friends
- 13:58Speaker 1: to say to cut him off. But there is something
- 14:01Speaker 1: to girls intuition, actually. I feel like sometimes you can
- 14:06Speaker 1: read someone right away when you meet them, and you
- 14:09Speaker 1: know that they are trash right this one. At first,
- 14:15Speaker 1: I was immediately like, no, your friends are crazy.
- 14:17Speaker 3: But now that I'm remembering girl intuition, maybe they're not wrong.
- 14:23Speaker 3: What do you think?
- 14:24Speaker 1: Seven oh one two eight oz one nine eight seven?
- 14:27Speaker 1: Should she cut off this boyfriend or should she give
- 14:31Speaker 1: them another chance?
- 14:33Speaker 2: Well, if you're old enough to be out drinking.
- 14:36Speaker 4: I feel like you should be old enough and mature
- 14:38Speaker 4: enough to understand, like that was just kind of a
- 14:40Speaker 4: weird night, like weird interaction. We'll plan something a lot better,
- 14:44Speaker 4: a lot more where we're all on the same page
- 14:46Speaker 4: most importantly, maybe on the same pace. Yeah, on the party.
- 14:50Speaker 4: And so I think you just chalk it up as like, hey,
- 14:53Speaker 4: kind of weird. You were tired off of work. I'm
- 14:55Speaker 4: sure you probably were, you know, crabby, trying to get home,
- 14:57Speaker 4: and we were partying, which is obviously they're both well
- 15:00Speaker 4: within the right to do that.
- 15:01Speaker 2: So wow, why don't you just chalk it up and
- 15:02Speaker 2: go to brunch a little mimosa or something.
- 15:07Speaker 4: That's just what I want to do. Seven one two
- 15:10Speaker 4: eight zero one nine eight seven. Is this a little
- 15:13Speaker 4: early to be just pulling the trigger on this situation?
- 15:15Speaker 4: I think it is what you never know. Maybe there
- 15:18Speaker 4: was some ladies intuition, as Angie had mentioned. So seven
- 15:22Speaker 4: oh one two eight zero one nine eight seven let
- 15:25Speaker 4: us know here this morning. This is also up on Facebook.
- 15:33Speaker 5: The problem.
- 15:34Speaker 3: So Ellie has a new boyfriend.
- 15:36Speaker 1: It's only been a few weeks, but it was love
- 15:38Speaker 1: at first sight, as she says, and so she had
- 15:41Speaker 1: him meet her friends for the very first time. And
- 15:44Speaker 1: she's obsessed with her friends. Her friends are everything to her.
- 15:47Speaker 1: Those are her BFFs for life. They met it was
- 15:50Speaker 1: at a bar. He had worked all day, he was
- 15:53Speaker 1: kind of tired, He wasn't super like down with the vibe.
- 15:56Speaker 1: The girls were super tipsy, having a time, and all
- 16:00Speaker 1: of a sudden done.
- 16:01Speaker 3: They didn't like him. They thought he was a killed joy.
- 16:04Speaker 1: And they are telling her that she needs to cut
- 16:07Speaker 1: him off already, and like, buy, this ain't the man
- 16:09Speaker 1: for you.
- 16:10Speaker 3: So Ellie wants to know should she cut him off.
- 16:13Speaker 1: Or should he give him Should she give him the
- 16:16Speaker 1: benefit of the doubt and give him another shot.
- 16:19Speaker 3: Because you know, he was just kind of tie tie
- 16:22Speaker 3: after work that day. What are your thoughts, Gabe.
- 16:26Speaker 2: Well, I just I feel like he was kind of
- 16:29Speaker 2: set up to fail, to be honest.
- 16:30Speaker 4: I mean, you can't you just chalk it up to
- 16:32Speaker 4: it was just a bad night for everyone, or or
- 16:35Speaker 4: it was just a night where things didn't align right.
- 16:37Speaker 4: You know, you have some girls who are enjoying their
- 16:40Speaker 4: evening as they should, a dude who's just getting off
- 16:43Speaker 4: work and kind of over the day, and those two
- 16:46Speaker 4: things don't normally mix. I mean, that's like mixing oil
- 16:48Speaker 4: and peanut butter. Well I wait, I think you can
- 16:51Speaker 4: mix oil and.
- 16:52Speaker 3: You have to mix it, actually, but it does separate
- 16:55Speaker 3: oil and water, My guy, oil and water.
- 16:57Speaker 2: Thank you? Can you get me on track here?
- 16:59Speaker 3: I was on your side, gave you're a mess.
- 17:05Speaker 2: I'm gonna get one of these sayings right here, and
- 17:07Speaker 2: gad you have me.
- 17:08Speaker 3: I was on your side at first.
- 17:10Speaker 1: However, I've done a one to eighty. I've decided that
- 17:13Speaker 1: her girlfriends are correct, and do cut him off because
- 17:17Speaker 1: I don't care if you were tired after work, if
- 17:20Speaker 1: this is the first impression that you're going to make,
- 17:23Speaker 1: if you're meeting them for the first time, and you know,
- 17:27Speaker 1: because if it's love at first sight and y'all are together,
- 17:30Speaker 1: you know by now that this girl's friends are everything
- 17:34Speaker 1: to her. So you better compartmentalize that tiredness. You better
- 17:38Speaker 1: compartmentalize whatever happened at work that day, and you better
- 17:41Speaker 1: get in the vibe and make a good first impression
- 17:45Speaker 1: with these ladies.
- 17:46Speaker 3: And he didn't, And I don't like that.
- 17:49Speaker 2: I don't like that He's got it.
- 17:50Speaker 4: You can play ball a little bit it's like you
- 17:52Speaker 4: gotta go out and enjoy a billion drinks either, But
- 17:54Speaker 4: you can smile and be yeahl and be joyful.
- 17:58Speaker 2: You definitely can do.
- 17:59Speaker 1: And I get that people are tired and have bad
- 18:01Speaker 1: days or whatever. This is of first impression.
- 18:05Speaker 3: You better figure it out.
- 18:06Speaker 2: Yeah, figure out.
- 18:09Speaker 3: Exactly. So if you don't, then yeah, cut him off.
- 18:11Speaker 3: It's only been a few weeks.
- 18:13Speaker 1: Life is too short to settle for someone who can't
- 18:16Speaker 1: put a happy face on to make things better.
- 18:19Speaker 3: I don't like it.
- 18:19Speaker 1: I'm not a fan. You cut them off, Ellie. I'm
- 18:22Speaker 1: totally aware that not everybody agrees with this.
- 18:25Speaker 4: Actually is one eighty this whole scenario, he said. I
- 18:29Speaker 4: think he should cut her off. She is being dramatic.
- 18:32Speaker 4: A group of tipsy girls is always too much.
- 18:36Speaker 2: Wow. I think about that.
- 18:38Speaker 4: Maybe he went into this scenario when I gotta hang
- 18:41Speaker 4: out with these slubs, see you.
- 18:43Speaker 2: I kind of like that one eighty there.
- 18:45Speaker 4: Stephanie said, I agree with Gabe from one interaction.
- 18:51Speaker 2: That's crazy. Just chalk it up. Is a bad evening.
- 18:53Speaker 2: I don't know if I get that a lot. So
- 18:55Speaker 2: that really touched anyone. Agreeing with you really touched my heart.
- 18:58Speaker 2: I appreciate that.
- 18:59Speaker 4: And then finally we did have Julia on Facebook who
- 19:04Speaker 4: she was in kind of the same lines of like
- 19:06Speaker 4: just chalking up. Julia said, maybe everyone should meet when
- 19:10Speaker 4: they're all sober. Cutting them off because of one night
- 19:12Speaker 4: is unfair, especially given the situation and alcohol being involved.
- 19:17Speaker 4: And you know, that's very mature response, and we've learned
- 19:19Speaker 4: Juliet does actually probably give you the best advice on
- 19:22Speaker 4: the big ninety eight point seven Facebook. It's very thought
- 19:25Speaker 4: out normally, and as Angie and I dive into one
- 19:28Speaker 4: extreme or the other.
- 19:29Speaker 1: Yeah, I think we've learned that we're very immature and
- 19:32Speaker 1: that's why we always need you for am I the problem.
- 19:37Speaker 4: Now you're probably seeing a lot of Coachella on your
- 19:41Speaker 4: social media and if you're if you're not well, that's
- 19:45Speaker 4: fine because.
- 19:45Speaker 3: You will now your phone is listening.
- 19:47Speaker 2: We can't talk about it anyway.
- 19:49Speaker 4: Coachella Round one or weekend one over Coachella Round two
- 19:53Speaker 4: coming up this weekend.
- 19:55Speaker 1: A lot of people have infomo for missing Weekend one,
- 19:58Speaker 1: thinking can I get like a last minute ticket to Coachella?
- 20:01Speaker 2: Have you ever been interested in going to Coachella? I
- 20:03Speaker 2: don't know if I have.
- 20:05Speaker 3: I have been interested. My wallet has not been interested.
- 20:10Speaker 3: I'm going to Coachella.
- 20:11Speaker 2: I'd be fun to do once.
- 20:13Speaker 3: Yeah, the thing is it's so expensive.
- 20:15Speaker 1: So the real way to do it is to have
- 20:17Speaker 1: a brand send you as an influencer for them. That's
- 20:21Speaker 1: the way to get to Coachella. Because, let me tell you,
- 20:23Speaker 1: if you are looking for last minute tickets to go
- 20:26Speaker 1: this weekend general admission, over three thousand dollars for a
- 20:31Speaker 1: general admission ticket, stay here in the dirt. If you're
- 20:34Speaker 1: trying to find an Airbnb to stay at, over twenty
- 20:38Speaker 1: four thousand dollars.
- 20:40Speaker 2: To find your thousand, four hundred.
- 20:42Speaker 3: No, twenty four thousand dollars.
- 20:45Speaker 1: If you're at Coachella and your phone is dying and
- 20:48Speaker 1: you need to put it in a charging locker, eighty
- 20:50Speaker 1: nine dollars.
- 20:52Speaker 3: If you're hungry and you want to slice a pizza,
- 20:54Speaker 3: thirty four dollars.
- 20:57Speaker 2: Yeah, I'm out.
- 20:58Speaker 1: Yeah, same, I'm out at the Airbnb part unless you
- 21:03Speaker 1: get a brand to send you as an influencer for them.
- 21:08Speaker 3: So, Gabe, if a brand sent you to Coachella.
- 21:11Speaker 2: Easy, what would that brand be?
- 21:14Speaker 4: I'd try to get two to send me, Okay, so
- 21:16Speaker 4: one I could represent the clothes you should wear at Coachella.
- 21:19Speaker 2: One represent the food you should eat.
- 21:22Speaker 4: Okay, Flannel co send me away, and then Campbell's soup,
- 21:29Speaker 4: send me away. I will eat soup for fifteen days
- 21:32Speaker 4: straight at Coachelle in the Desert one hundred percent.
- 21:36Speaker 3: That's excellent.
- 21:37Speaker 2: That's good.
- 21:38Speaker 3: That makes sense to me.
- 21:39Speaker 2: Most fit.
- 21:40Speaker 1: We did post this on the Big ninety eight point
- 21:42Speaker 1: seven Facebook page. Julia said that an Espresso or Pop
- 21:47Speaker 1: Soda shack could send her as an influencer.
- 21:51Speaker 3: Micah said, Chili's.
- 21:53Speaker 2: I got that's right, Chili's baby bit. I love that answer.
- 22:00Speaker 1: Alicia said, Celsius, that's a good Celsius might.
- 22:04Speaker 3: Actually actually be a coach.
- 22:06Speaker 2: I would consider doing that for me.
- 22:08Speaker 1: It would be gold Emblem saltine crackers exclusive to CBS.
- 22:16Speaker 1: He send me to Coachella. You know that at Coachella
- 22:19Speaker 1: you can get a meal. It's one hundred dollars, but
- 22:22Speaker 1: it's chicken nuggets with caviar.
- 22:25Speaker 3: Send me and we'll do gold Emblem saltine crackers with CAB.
- 22:30Speaker 4: You bring the gold Emblem saltine crackers. I'll bring the
- 22:33Speaker 4: Campbell's chunky soup and we're good to go.
- 22:36Speaker 3: We're going to Coachella Baby.
- 22:43Speaker 5: Starting off the day with something good. This is Gabe's
- 22:47Speaker 5: good news on Big ninety eight point seven. All right,
- 22:52Speaker 5: this is great news for West Fargo. The city is
- 22:55Speaker 5: going to be getting a little greener this summer cruise.
- 22:58Speaker 5: We'll plant one hundred and twenty nine new trees along
- 23:02Speaker 5: Ninth Street West, turning the stretch into a more scenic
- 23:06Speaker 5: tree lined roadway. The project will take about three to
- 23:10Speaker 5: six weeks, and that.
- 23:11Speaker 4: Includes a variety of tree species, all maintained and guaranteed
- 23:15Speaker 4: for two years.
- 23:16Speaker 2: And city leaders say it's not just about looks.
- 23:18Speaker 4: It's also it's also a proactive step to protect the
- 23:22Speaker 4: local tree population from threats like emerald ash boor, which
- 23:26Speaker 4: has already been.
- 23:27Speaker 2: Found nearby in Fargo. So kind of cool.
- 23:30Speaker 4: Some tree planting happening over in West Fargo. And there
- 23:33Speaker 4: is something about driving down a street.
- 23:35Speaker 2: Yeah that is tree lined. It's just a nice so nice.
- 23:40Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 23:40Speaker 1: I think I was over there, you know, I have
- 23:42Speaker 1: no sense of direction, but I'm pretty sure I was
- 23:44Speaker 1: over there because that's by Dakota Park and I took
- 23:46Speaker 1: the kids over there yesterday. Sure, And that'll be nice.
- 23:49Speaker 3: To have all of the trees.
- 23:50Speaker 4: Yeah, one the more trees, the better exact I always say,
- 23:54Speaker 4: you know my favorite quote. If you don't hear it,
- 23:56Speaker 4: is all right. Broken crayons, they still color. And the
- 23:59Speaker 4: world is of nice people. If you can't find one,
- 24:01Speaker 4: you gotta be one.
