- 0:02Speaker 1: Due to the bath of nature of this program. Listen
- 0:06Speaker 1: to this question. Is it lies the Woody Show? This
- 0:24Speaker 1: is the Woody Show.
- 0:26Speaker 2: Insensitivity training.
- 0:37Speaker 1: Class is now in session. Well, good morning everybody. It
- 0:46Speaker 1: is The Woody Show. On a Wednesday, August the fifth.
- 0:50Speaker 1: Woody noticeably absent, as is Jeff G. Because they're off
- 0:53Speaker 1: to their annual radio show boot campus the morning show boot.
- 0:57Speaker 3: Is that what we're calling it?
- 1:00Speaker 1: Oh yeah, yeah, yeah, lover's retreat.
- 1:03Speaker 4: This is Jeff G's first time at least going with Woody.
- 1:07Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:07Speaker 4: Yeah, let's go back, and we go back in the
- 1:10Speaker 4: way back machine. I went the first year and I
- 1:11Speaker 4: said never again. Then Menace went like the next ten years,
- 1:15Speaker 4: and now the Jeff G's new.
- 1:17Speaker 1: And then Sammy went, oh.
- 1:18Speaker 5: Yeah, I went to a fan Yeah.
- 1:20Speaker 1: It's something that I don't fully get. I know it's
- 1:23Speaker 1: a convention and they talk about morning show stuff, but
- 1:26Speaker 1: I don't know why you would have to go more
- 1:28Speaker 1: than once.
- 1:28Speaker 3: Here's here's how little you have to go. I won
- 1:30Speaker 3: an award one year own nothing, and I couldn't be
- 1:33Speaker 3: there because you know, we were on the radio.
- 1:35Speaker 6: I don't think you have It's fun because you get
- 1:37Speaker 6: to see for other friends in radio that you don't
- 1:39Speaker 6: see all the time because.
- 1:40Speaker 4: Everyone's going well and Sammy is nailed it there. It's
- 1:43Speaker 4: it's a fun screw off session.
- 1:44Speaker 3: Okay, it's a reunion.
- 1:45Speaker 4: I'm not saying what. He doesn't do business in Schmoo's.
- 1:48Speaker 1: Well, yeah, he just panels and wood. He's getting an
- 1:50Speaker 1: award this year.
- 1:51Speaker 3: He may be being honored.
- 1:52Speaker 4: Yeah, correctly, thank you for showing up. It's good than me.
- 1:57Speaker 1: So everybody else holding down the fort today on August
- 2:01Speaker 1: the fifth, which today is blogger Day. Yesterday was vlogger Day.
- 2:05Speaker 1: Today is blogger Day.
- 2:06Speaker 4: It really isn't the thing that seems to be done anymore.
- 2:09Speaker 3: Twenty years ago this.
- 2:11Speaker 1: I would put in the category. I think SeaBASS and
- 2:13Speaker 1: I might agree on this National Oyster Day. People go, oh, oysters,
- 2:17Speaker 1: they're like snot. First of all, they're not learn your
- 2:20Speaker 1: your mouthfunctions. Snot is liquidy. Oysters have texture. It's like anchovies.
- 2:27Speaker 1: It's just everybody hates anchovies. They don't know why, they
- 2:29Speaker 1: just hate them. Well, I think oysters rule.
- 2:32Speaker 4: I think we agree in the description, but not in
- 2:35Speaker 4: the desire. Oysters are widely praised and I'm just going
- 2:40Speaker 4: off of what I see in social media and especially
- 2:43Speaker 4: dating apps, which will be discussing later on, is women
- 2:46Speaker 4: and men as they claim to love oysters a raw bar.
- 2:49Speaker 4: It's seen as like high class, high class. But I
- 2:53Speaker 4: do not prefer bar oysters.
- 2:54Speaker 1: No color me on board menaces. Favorite National cous cous Day.
- 2:58Speaker 1: Oh love it.
- 3:01Speaker 3: I love like those little pearl like little pearl pasta.
- 3:05Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 3:06Speaker 7: And by the way, you would almost think it's like rice.
- 3:08Speaker 7: I would never eat oysters. No, you wouldn't be.
- 3:13Speaker 3: I mean I like tabasco sauce and lemon.
- 3:14Speaker 1: It's fine if people hate him, just don't describe them
- 3:17Speaker 1: as snot because that's inaccurate.
- 3:19Speaker 7: Also, why are they always sexualdisiac.
- 3:23Speaker 1: And it's also National Underwear Day. Usually at this point
- 3:28Speaker 1: we get to the celebrity birthdays, but before we do that,
- 3:31Speaker 1: I want to shout out a celebrity who I have
- 3:33Speaker 1: a new appreciation for. He's been around forever. I interviewed
- 3:37Speaker 1: him once and we argued, Now I think he's cool
- 3:40Speaker 1: because of one main thing, and that celebrity is Bill Maher,
- 3:44Speaker 1: who recently received the Mark Twain Prize for Humor. And
- 3:48Speaker 1: they always do this big ceremony and they have special guests.
- 3:52Speaker 1: They do essentially stand up bits. All his guests were awesome.
- 3:55Speaker 1: Louis c k honored him, A bunch of others honored him.
- 3:58Speaker 1: They all did a great job. But the cool thing
- 4:00Speaker 1: that Bill Maher did was every recipient of the Mark
- 4:04Speaker 1: Twain Prize gets to pick who sits in this special box.
- 4:08Speaker 1: I believe it's seven people. I think like family, friends, wife, husband, whatever.
- 4:14Speaker 1: And he had one chair that he If you have
- 4:16Speaker 1: already watched it, you saw it. If not, this is
- 4:18Speaker 1: not a spoiler. He had one chair with this woman
- 4:21Speaker 1: who's from San Francisco, who he had never met before ever,
- 4:25Speaker 1: doesn't even know her. But he wanted one of his
- 4:27Speaker 1: chairs to be reserved for a fan.
- 4:30Speaker 4: Oh I love that.
- 4:31Speaker 3: You know, that's badass.
- 4:32Speaker 1: And during his speech he even said, you know, I
- 4:34Speaker 1: want to thank whoever he had, my manager of eighty
- 4:37Speaker 1: five years, and my best friend, and then you at
- 4:41Speaker 1: the end, what's your name? Oh, I'm Amy, I'm from
- 4:44Speaker 1: San Francisco. He said, I wanted one chair for a
- 4:47Speaker 1: fan to be here, and she, I guess submitted an application.
- 4:50Speaker 4: A fan of him or a fan of Mark Twain,
- 4:52Speaker 4: A fan of his? Well, that sounds lovely. Why couldn't
- 4:56Speaker 4: she just been in the general audience.
- 4:58Speaker 1: I think this is that's cool because there's like an
- 5:01Speaker 1: honor to be in that box. It's that exclusive. And
- 5:04Speaker 1: in that same vein, he picked a fan to be
- 5:07Speaker 1: in one of his super exclusive seats, and in his
- 5:10Speaker 1: acceptance speech for the Mark Twain Prize, he ended by
- 5:14Speaker 1: hated thanking the haters. I thought that was interesting.
- 5:18Speaker 3: I've always been a fan of his, so I like this.
- 5:21Speaker 1: I thought that was like he thanked the haters because
- 5:24Speaker 1: he said, the haters are what give him, you know, motivation, motivation.
- 5:27Speaker 3: The only thing I don't like is how he will
- 5:30Speaker 3: just totally dismiss and blow off an amazing impression of him.
- 5:34Speaker 3: Oh that doesn't sound like me. I'm like, oh, it
- 5:36Speaker 3: sounds exactly like you. Oh he had Kyle Dunagan or
- 5:40Speaker 3: Matt Fresh, he had that.
- 5:41Speaker 1: Friend on there doing uh Trump, and then he ended
- 5:44Speaker 1: with a Bill Maher impression, which was pretty damn funny.
- 5:47Speaker 1: And that's what he basically says, all right, get out here, Matt.
- 5:49Speaker 1: I have two things to say.
- 5:51Speaker 7: One was she hot the chick that got sea? And
- 5:55Speaker 7: then two, I asked if she was a fan of
- 5:59Speaker 7: Mark Twain. I jokingly because you know, being from San Francisco,
- 6:03Speaker 7: Mark Twain. Mark Twain did live in San Francisco. I
- 6:06Speaker 7: used to work next to the place and had a
- 6:08Speaker 7: sign saying Mark Twain used to live here.
- 6:10Speaker 4: Blah blah. Right, isn't like a hardcore racist to Mark Twain?
- 6:14Speaker 8: What?
- 6:15Speaker 4: Oh I'm aware of Oh, I would google that.
- 6:19Speaker 1: But Mark Twain, I mean, and if that's true, I
- 6:23Speaker 1: mean the whole the whole theme of the night is
- 6:25Speaker 1: Mark Twain. So that he gets a lot of shout
- 6:28Speaker 1: outs during these awards.
- 6:30Speaker 3: Well, it's not something I've heard.
- 6:31Speaker 4: I want to because of the gym stuff.
- 6:34Speaker 3: Well that's a discussion for from Sawyer. Yeah, I mean
- 6:39Speaker 3: uncle Berry Finn. Yeah, anyway, I think this is a
- 6:44Speaker 3: good question here.
- 6:45Speaker 4: People thank you just blowing off. I guess yeah, we're
- 6:49Speaker 4: praising people.
- 6:50Speaker 1: But shout out to Bill Maher for reserving a seat
- 6:52Speaker 1: for a fan and thanking the matters. I thought it
- 6:55Speaker 1: was cool. Alright, all right, let's now look at your
- 6:57Speaker 1: celebrity birthday, this Shimaya, and you know we don't do what.
- 7:07Speaker 1: I hate that I even know this guy's name because
- 7:11Speaker 1: I associate him with dorks. James Gunn, the movie director,
- 7:14Speaker 1: and everybody worships the ground he walks on. Guardians of
- 7:17Speaker 1: the Galaxy hate I don't know, because the nerds and
- 7:20Speaker 1: the dorks worship him, and it bothers me fair hate James.
- 7:23Speaker 4: Gun but what he does James Gunn is like legit.
- 7:27Speaker 1: Though I'm not saying greg just to mention of his
- 7:30Speaker 1: name kind of irks me because people worship him anyway.
- 7:34Speaker 1: Kind of cool and not nerdy cool. Well, he's sixty
- 7:37Speaker 1: It could be the coolest guy in the world. Pat
- 7:39Speaker 1: Smear from Fruit Fighters, former member of Nevada. He's sixty
- 7:42Speaker 1: seven today. NBA Hall of Famer Patrick Ewing sixty four.
- 7:47Speaker 1: This one's huge. Maureen McCormick Marsha from The Brady Bunch,
- 7:52Speaker 1: she's seventy to holy.
- 7:54Speaker 7: Not Pat Smear, who like pretty much just helped create
- 7:58Speaker 7: the entire genre which we live off.
- 8:02Speaker 1: Way bigger but that's near but not as big as
- 8:06Speaker 1: not as big as Young Blood, who's twenty ninth, Oh yeah, true, yeah.
- 8:09Speaker 1: And then Disney Channel actress Olivia Holt Sammy yeah.
- 8:12Speaker 5: Oh my gosh. I love her, but you've just got
- 8:15Speaker 5: the role.
- 8:16Speaker 6: She's now in that Broadway musical Just in Time, the
- 8:20Speaker 6: one about Bobby Darren and.
- 8:22Speaker 7: Everybody's talking about it rules harder than James gun Right.
- 8:26Speaker 4: Yeah, you guys said, what's what would say to be
- 8:27Speaker 4: into Bobby used to go about Bobby Dabby?
- 8:30Speaker 5: Yeah, she plays Connie Franciscident.

- 10:20Speaker 1: Everybody else is here doing their thing, including Gina Grad
- 10:24Speaker 1: who's got your headlines. Yeah.
- 10:26Speaker 3: Well, the guy who confronted that ahole shooter, you know
- 10:28Speaker 3: at the in and Out in Idaho, he's speaking out.
- 10:30Speaker 3: His name is Jordan Salinas, and he says that he
- 10:33Speaker 3: saw the shooter aiming a rifle. At passing cars before
- 10:36Speaker 3: stepping in to confront him.
- 10:38Speaker 9: As soon as we pulled in, just a sea of
- 10:41Speaker 9: people just flooding out of the building.
- 10:43Speaker 8: Building.
- 10:44Speaker 5: Yeah, we didn't know what was going on, and we
- 10:45Speaker 5: both thought it might have been a kitchen fire.
- 10:48Speaker 9: It was like a switch, like okay, like this is real,
- 10:50Speaker 9: it's happening. The biggest thing was just that he didn't
- 10:52Speaker 9: know where I was when those first shots broke at him.
- 10:55Speaker 9: I mean, he he had no idea. He seemed unusually
- 10:59Speaker 9: comfortable that rifle at those cars, and then as soon
- 11:02Speaker 9: as some rounds start coming at him, everything changed. My
- 11:06Speaker 9: goal was to try to help as many people get
- 11:09Speaker 9: home as possible, you know, to be with their families,
- 11:12Speaker 9: to be with their friends.
- 11:13Speaker 1: Love that.
- 11:14Speaker 3: Can we all just line up to service him?
- 11:17Speaker 1: Male?
- 11:17Speaker 3: Female?
- 11:18Speaker 1: She got him?
- 11:20Speaker 4: Yeah, I agree with you, Menez.
- 11:23Speaker 3: Well, he hadn't been practicing, like the shooter.
- 11:25Speaker 4: Time at the range. Yeah right. I thought the wife
- 11:27Speaker 4: was there to chime into. Oh.
- 11:28Speaker 3: I was telling Greg this the other day. There's this
- 11:30Speaker 3: organization that I'm going to join.
- 11:33Speaker 1: Oh yeah, yeah, Telly so stoked.
- 11:35Speaker 3: I was like, what is this. It's called locks and loaded,
- 11:40Speaker 3: but like locks and bagels, l o X and it's
- 11:42Speaker 3: like it's you know, it's like a gun club, but
- 11:45Speaker 3: it's for Jews. That's what it's called locks and loaded.
- 11:48Speaker 1: And isn't it for women to or just for women?
- 11:50Speaker 4: I don't think it's just for women.
- 11:51Speaker 3: I mean for everybody who just wants to get together
- 11:53Speaker 3: go to the range.
- 11:54Speaker 5: Everybody who's Jewish.
- 11:55Speaker 3: Yeah, it's like a Jewish like like social club. But
- 11:58Speaker 3: you're at the range, okaye rules you should join? Yeah,
- 12:01Speaker 3: I play on it all right?
- 12:02Speaker 4: Good.
- 12:04Speaker 3: Well, I always go to the range by myself, which
- 12:06Speaker 3: is fine, but it would be fun to you know,
- 12:08Speaker 3: go there. Well yeah.
- 12:11Speaker 4: Well.
- 12:11Speaker 3: Celebrity blogger and podcast host Perez Hilton he was taken
- 12:14Speaker 3: to a hospital in Miami last night at Dude Well.
- 12:18Speaker 3: He was after cops responded to reports that he appeared
- 12:21Speaker 3: to be harming himself during a TikTok live stream. So
- 12:24Speaker 3: people were who were on the stream, they called nine
- 12:26Speaker 3: one one and the Miami Dade Sheriff's officer. They confirmed
- 12:29Speaker 3: that they did take him for medical treatment. Hilton's management
- 12:32Speaker 3: team they said that they're aware of it, but they
- 12:35Speaker 3: couldn't reach him either, and Hilton recently moved back to
- 12:38Speaker 3: Miami with his three kids after a long time in Vegas,
- 12:41Speaker 3: and he previously spoke out about wanting to leave his
- 12:43Speaker 3: whole like bullying style behind that that's what made him famous.
- 12:46Speaker 3: And then uh, in the spring, he was in the
- 12:49Speaker 3: hospital for he said, taking a bunch of medication without
- 12:52Speaker 3: eating and it like totally destroyed his stomach, and then
- 12:56Speaker 3: he found God at the hospital. So he just he
- 12:59Speaker 3: has a lot going on.
- 13:00Speaker 7: Well, the video, if anybody saw it, is one of
- 13:03Speaker 7: the most disturbing videos I've ever seen.
- 13:05Speaker 4: I purposely did not say that's the first thing I
- 13:07Speaker 4: read with someone said don't watch it, and okay, all right,
- 13:10Speaker 4: yeah it is pretty brutal.
- 13:13Speaker 3: They do say he was like covered in blood.
- 13:15Speaker 7: Yeah, so he was like pretty much taking a knife
- 13:17Speaker 7: in this constantly cutting himself like all over his body
- 13:20Speaker 7: like a super sharp knife and calling himself a loser.
- 13:25Speaker 7: And then uh yeah, then the cops finally showed up
- 13:27Speaker 7: and then the live stream went away.
- 13:29Speaker 4: Well, Sammy, it doesn't pay to be a bully, yeah
- 13:33Speaker 4: eventually yeah yeah, yeah, I mean you'll.
- 13:35Speaker 3: Start who's for a bullying?
- 13:38Speaker 5: So this is my fault.
- 13:39Speaker 4: I see admitted mean girl in high school. Okay, and
- 13:43Speaker 4: as the girls and still says to this day that
- 13:45Speaker 4: some of them still deserved it. Yeah, I mean.
- 13:48Speaker 6: Yeah, well, okay, okay, I think that was a little
- 13:51Speaker 6: bit post high school maybe.
- 13:53Speaker 9: But.
- 13:55Speaker 6: There were situations and things, and I don't think I mean,
- 13:58Speaker 6: you're picturing me as a mean girls like going after
- 14:01Speaker 6: someone continuously and what I mean, like, you're.
- 14:03Speaker 3: Not Regina George, right.
- 14:05Speaker 4: They never think they're the bad person.
- 14:07Speaker 5: Well, no, I am admitting that.
- 14:09Speaker 6: They're like when I kind of look back and go, oh,
- 14:11Speaker 6: I could have been nicer or whatever to certain people,
- 14:16Speaker 6: but I wasn't crazy. Mean, I just like didn't realize
- 14:20Speaker 6: how the other person probably felt. Well, and I was like,
- 14:23Speaker 6: looking back, I go like, oh, she probably felt bad
- 14:26Speaker 6: when I did that, but I wasn't thinking about her.
- 14:28Speaker 10: Does that make sense?
- 14:30Speaker 7: Yeah, well that's what I was about to say with
- 14:32Speaker 7: this Press Hilton thing. Like bullies, eventually it starts getting
- 14:36Speaker 7: in their head as they get older on how yeah
- 14:40Speaker 7: they were, and it's starts affecting them, Like I know
- 14:42Speaker 7: a couple of bullies that were extreme bullies and then
- 14:46Speaker 7: later there's like they realized, oh wait, I was a
- 14:49Speaker 7: really crappy person, and then they have to live with
- 14:51Speaker 7: that every day.
- 14:52Speaker 3: I mentioned this before. There was this like total central
- 14:56Speaker 3: casting bully in our high school, like slamming people in
- 14:58Speaker 3: the lockers, like big, like kind of fat, like big
- 15:01Speaker 3: football dude, like just that dude. And a couple of
- 15:04Speaker 3: years ago, I didn't even know him. I wasn't we
- 15:07Speaker 3: weren't on each other's radar. But he DMed me and
- 15:10Speaker 3: said he was making the rounds to everybody he went
- 15:12Speaker 3: to high school with, apologizing, say he found god, he
- 15:16Speaker 3: turned his life. Yeah, I don't even know this guy,
- 15:21Speaker 3: and I crossed his name off the lig.
- 15:25Speaker 1: Yeah, I'm happy to hear that. I thought bullies had
- 15:28Speaker 1: no self awareness.
- 15:29Speaker 3: Apparently someone.
- 15:30Speaker 1: I'm glad that they grow up.
- 15:31Speaker 7: I had one dude, and he wasn't even really a
- 15:34Speaker 7: bully to me, the same kind of situation like crying
- 15:37Speaker 7: on the phone.
- 15:38Speaker 1: Really did my bully never did that. He ended up dying.
- 15:43Speaker 1: It was weird, but he.
- 15:45Speaker 3: Would that's a nice alternative.
- 15:46Speaker 1: I would sit in front of him in English class
- 15:48Speaker 1: and he would lean forward with a sharpie and just
- 15:49Speaker 1: mark my shirts. And I get home, I'm like, oh
- 15:52Speaker 1: my god. And he made fun of me because I
- 15:54Speaker 1: liked like alternative rock and I had half my head
- 15:56Speaker 1: shaved and I was a weird kid, and therefore I got.
- 16:00Speaker 4: Yeah, half a head, Yeah, this is news.
- 16:02Speaker 1: Yeah, like seagulls not really like let's see, how was
- 16:06Speaker 1: it parted? I think was part of to the left,
- 16:08Speaker 1: and then I took the side opposite the part and
- 16:11Speaker 1: would shave it with like a number one razor. So
- 16:13Speaker 1: it was like super super super short, but only on
- 16:15Speaker 1: one hide. That doesn't seem that like, but that married
- 16:19Speaker 1: it was kind of gothy and uh I was one
- 16:21Speaker 1: of the few people that listened to the cure and
- 16:24Speaker 1: the bunnyman depeche mode, and that was made you the
- 16:26Speaker 1: target of a.
- 16:27Speaker 3: Bully ew okay.
- 16:28Speaker 1: And then he pumped my gas at a gas station
- 16:30Speaker 1: because he was working at the gas station.
- 16:32Speaker 4: Ruled that's like and then he died. Okay, well that's well,
- 16:36Speaker 4: that's a good story.
- 16:38Speaker 1: Yeah. I had a happy all right. And then all
- 16:41Speaker 1: the classes like sending out messages, Oh did you hear
- 16:44Speaker 1: that Dann died. I'm like, yeah, I did want to
- 16:50Speaker 1: go later that guy.
- 16:52Speaker 3: People who are speaking out, and you know, I've had
- 16:55Speaker 3: thoughts about this in the past couple of days. A
- 16:57Speaker 3: lot of people concerned about Ariana Grande's appearance and that
- 17:00Speaker 3: was my jeers over the over the week, and she's
- 17:03Speaker 3: finally speaking you out a little bit of announcing that
- 17:05Speaker 3: she's taken a break. She had a show in Chicago
- 17:08Speaker 3: on Monday night and said that her decision to step
- 17:11Speaker 3: back was not impulsive or reaction to negative comments. Instead,
- 17:14Speaker 3: it was a plan that she made a long time ago,
- 17:16Speaker 3: and it was a decision that was made from a
- 17:18Speaker 3: thoughtful and empowered place.
- 17:19Speaker 1: I think she looks good, sure, jam.
- 17:21Speaker 3: Yeah, I know. If Greg thinks you look.
- 17:23Speaker 1: Good, she looks. Let's just say she looks the same. Okay,
- 17:26Speaker 1: I really, I truly believe that.
- 17:28Speaker 3: Yet treatment No, she definitely.
- 17:32Speaker 1: It's probably just jealousy, Tom.
- 17:33Speaker 4: Yeah right.
- 17:34Speaker 3: She added that he she heard her fans were worried
- 17:37Speaker 3: that the negativity was rooting things for her, but that
- 17:39Speaker 3: it quote could not be more the opposite. Her reps
- 17:42Speaker 3: added that she looks forward to finishing her tour on
- 17:45Speaker 3: a high note. So, you know, good for her. And
- 17:48Speaker 3: even though summer is still in full swing, there's a
- 17:50Speaker 3: bunch of shows coming back to streaming and a lot
- 17:54Speaker 3: of you I know might want to be aware of these.
- 17:56Speaker 3: Put these on your calendar. Apple TV leading the pack
- 17:58Speaker 3: with the big return of Ted was supposed to be
- 18:01Speaker 3: the final season in twenty twenty three, but it's coming
- 18:03Speaker 3: back this time. He's coaching the women's team.
- 18:06Speaker 4: Yeah yeah, girls, even.
- 18:10Speaker 3: Does anyone? I only saw a few episodes of Ted
- 18:12Speaker 3: last So was that considered a funny show? Yeah? Was
- 18:16Speaker 3: that always? Like sweet? But I didn't laugh out right?
- 18:18Speaker 4: That was the knock against it is they kind of
- 18:20Speaker 4: tried to stay funny at first, and then it just
- 18:22Speaker 4: went yeah.
- 18:22Speaker 7: It's very sweet, big, full on, let me get in
- 18:25Speaker 7: the feels. Yeah, yeah, about like mental health and stuff.
- 18:29Speaker 3: And everyone's like, you gotta see it's my favorite show.
- 18:30Speaker 3: And I watched and I was like, I'm not getting.
- 18:32Speaker 4: Yeah, oh you didn't like it.
- 18:34Speaker 6: Oh, I already watching the first episode last night of
- 18:37Speaker 6: the new season, and you know what, it's again, it's sweet.
- 18:40Speaker 5: It's pretty good. I'm into it. I'm ready for the
- 18:42Speaker 5: next episode.
- 18:43Speaker 4: Okay, perfect, it's not a comedy at this point.
- 18:45Speaker 3: Yeah, okay, that was my question. Well, Apple is also
- 18:47Speaker 3: premiering season two of The Women in Blue. Didn't know
- 18:50Speaker 3: about that. That's a show about the first female police
- 18:52Speaker 3: unit in Mexico City. Staying on the ladies track, the
- 18:55Speaker 3: documentary series, The Dynasty, Yukon Huskies and wait, Yukon Huskies Huskies. Wait,
- 19:03Speaker 3: I can't hear you at Morgan. No, I know, but
- 19:07Speaker 3: that's not the women's team. They're probably both okay, fantastic, yeah, anyway,
- 19:11Speaker 3: not on my radar, and Dark Matter the sci fi drama.
- 19:14Speaker 3: People can also catch up on completed shows like Widow's Bay,
- 19:18Speaker 3: which I've heard so much about having gotten on board,
- 19:21Speaker 3: Maximum Pleasure Guaranteed, and Kate.
- 19:23Speaker 4: Fear Good because TV sucks right now.
- 19:27Speaker 3: Meanwhile, Amazon Prime Video is bringing back Reacher, Paramount Plus
- 19:31Speaker 3: has a new season of Lioness, and Netflix is returning
- 19:34Speaker 3: to the Outer Banks with a new season of that show, which,
- 19:37Speaker 3: again a lot of things to catch up on. Have
- 19:39Speaker 3: heard about all these just haven't jumped on board. So
- 19:41Speaker 3: that's what's going on.
- 19:42Speaker 1: Well, thank you very much, Gina, you got it by show. Greg.
- 19:47Speaker 7: I hate to do this to you and everybody in
- 19:49Speaker 7: the room, but I just want to put it out
- 19:51Speaker 7: there that I feel earthquake coming on.
- 19:56Speaker 4: And I usually don't express it, and then like within
- 19:59Speaker 4: the next they are two, there is one, there is one.
- 20:02Speaker 7: So this time I want to like put it out
- 20:04Speaker 7: there so people are prepared so you get credit.
- 20:08Speaker 4: Yeah, so I get credit for this time.
- 20:10Speaker 7: It's just like you know, when I lay down maybe
- 20:13Speaker 7: after you know, in the vate bend a couple of times,
- 20:15Speaker 7: I just feel the pressure of the earth and I'm
- 20:18Speaker 7: just like a dog and yeah, and I feel like
- 20:23Speaker 7: it wants to express itself pretty soon.
- 20:27Speaker 4: Everybody, you just like, be prepared. We have all your
- 20:30Speaker 4: water and your rations.
- 20:32Speaker 1: Is it because of that new study that said the
- 20:34Speaker 1: chances of the big one are even stronger? No?
- 20:37Speaker 4: No, I like I always feel is But I just
- 20:39Speaker 4: feel like his heart. I feel what they're saying.
- 20:43Speaker 5: Okay, and what size earthquake are you feeling?
- 20:46Speaker 4: I'm feeling like mid sixes. Oh that's not good. No,
- 20:52Speaker 4: that is not good at all.
- 20:53Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 20:53Speaker 3: A friend of mine used to say he could tell
- 20:55Speaker 3: an earthquake was coming because you'd get a metallic taste
- 20:57Speaker 3: in his mouth.
- 20:58Speaker 4: Is that you No?
- 20:59Speaker 7: No, No, I just feel the vibrations Mark Mark.
- 21:04Speaker 4: Yeah, I'm telling you so. I mean, are you guys
- 21:07Speaker 4: prepared at all? I feel pretty prepared.
- 21:09Speaker 1: I have My entire kit consists of one bottle of
- 21:13Speaker 1: water that's quite large in the garage. That's it. That's
- 21:17Speaker 1: all I have.
- 21:17Speaker 3: Oh no, during the fires. We got the whole thing together.
- 21:20Speaker 3: So I feel like I'm pretty read.
- 21:21Speaker 5: What are you even supposed to have? Like a flashlight
- 21:24Speaker 5: and water.
- 21:25Speaker 3: Water batteries, a lantern and cash, hair cran radio medications.
- 21:31Speaker 1: Switch plade for.
- 21:38Speaker 4: Extra. Problem with the whole earthquake kit is like all
- 21:40Speaker 4: my stuff that I use every day has to be
- 21:42Speaker 4: in this kit all the time.
- 21:43Speaker 3: No, you just get doubles and keep it in.
- 21:44Speaker 4: It, like a doubles of what my of my medications
- 21:47Speaker 4: which I don't have.
- 21:48Speaker 1: But I'm just like that's a good point.
- 21:51Speaker 3: I mean, just grab it like strewn around your house.
- 21:55Speaker 4: It's not supposed to be. Just grab it's supposed to be.
- 21:57Speaker 4: It's there and that's.
- 21:59Speaker 1: Ready to go.
- 22:00Speaker 4: Well, yeah, in the backpack.
- 22:01Speaker 3: Right then, maybe you don't have your cholesterol meds. I
- 22:03Speaker 3: don't know to touch.
- 22:04Speaker 5: But where are you going in an earthquake?
- 22:07Speaker 8: Well, fire away from the devastations, leave and that won't
- 22:12Speaker 8: be like a crowded area to like drive through, right dude,
- 22:16Speaker 8: I'll walk through it if I have to.
- 22:18Speaker 10: Is it true? The state's going to chop off?
- 22:20Speaker 3: We're going to be like an island or Arizona Bay
- 22:22Speaker 3: like Superman.
- 22:24Speaker 10: That is the plan.
- 22:25Speaker 4: I've always wanted to live on an island. That'd be
- 22:27Speaker 4: kind of cool.
- 22:29Speaker 1: But to Sammy's point, I see what you're saying. If
- 22:31Speaker 1: there's an earthquake, you're still at home after the earthquake, right,
- 22:34Speaker 1: So get your water from this kit instead of where
- 22:37Speaker 1: you normally keep the water.
- 22:38Speaker 6: Right, and hope that like a wall didn't fall on
- 22:40Speaker 6: your earthquake.
- 22:43Speaker 4: Or there's not a gas. Just die people.
- 22:45Speaker 3: Yeah you heard him, Sammy, don't prepare.
- 22:47Speaker 1: Yeah, either way, I guess we're screwed, right.
- 22:50Speaker 3: Wow, Now I feel like an idiot asking me Always
- 22:54Speaker 3: Ummer is not there.
- 22:58Speaker 1: Wood he is back on Monday. Everybody else is here today,
- 23:04Speaker 1: Greg Gory and Menace, Gina, Sammy, Oh, look at there,
- 23:08Speaker 1: and there's Morgan and everybody else. I would like to
- 23:12Speaker 1: ask a question slash vent and slash confirm a suspicion
- 23:17Speaker 1: that I have. So mainly Menace. We're always talking about
- 23:22Speaker 1: how patio furniture is a trillion Yes, you have to
- 23:26Speaker 1: be a legal trillionaire to get patio furniture. So I'm
- 23:29Speaker 1: doing all this crap around the house and the dollar
- 23:32Speaker 1: signs are adding up, and I had been looking for
- 23:34Speaker 1: some new patio furniture for a long time, comparison shopping,
- 23:37Speaker 1: checking out my favorite place, Facebook Marketplace, anything I could
- 23:42Speaker 1: do to find a deal, because I am skipping to
- 23:45Speaker 1: Mac and Cheese for dinner just to save a couple dollars.
- 23:48Speaker 1: Like it's literally back to almost to the top ramin days,
- 23:50Speaker 1: like I need to save every penny I can save.
- 23:53Speaker 1: So I find I don't find anything on Facebook Mark,
- 23:56Speaker 1: Facebook Marketplace, sadly, so I went the retail route and
- 24:01Speaker 1: went and bought this new set.
- 24:03Speaker 3: Jeez.
- 24:04Speaker 1: I checked out Amazon, and the Amazon prices were higher
- 24:08Speaker 1: than they were for the exact same set at the
- 24:11Speaker 1: actual furniture So I thought, okay, rip, I'll go to
- 24:15Speaker 1: the furniture store.
- 24:15Speaker 4: It's about one.
- 24:16Speaker 1: Hundred bucks less than on Amazon. Buy it, and then
- 24:20Speaker 1: here we are. I'm getting it delivered next week. I
- 24:23Speaker 1: look at Amazon again and now it's way cheaper on it. Oh.
- 24:28Speaker 1: So I go on the Google and I type in
- 24:31Speaker 1: the price match policy of this particular store and they say, yeah,
- 24:35Speaker 1: we do a price match, so if you find it
- 24:37Speaker 1: at a lower price within thirty days, we'll match it.
- 24:40Speaker 1: And then there's all these caveats. And the first caveat
- 24:44Speaker 1: was it has to be through an authorized Amazon reseller,
- 24:48Speaker 1: and I said, okay, rip, and on Amazon when you
- 24:51Speaker 1: click this particular store, it's their Amazon stuff, so it's
- 24:56Speaker 1: the same exact thing. So caveats met. So I go
- 24:59Speaker 1: on website to find out, Okay, how do I get
- 25:01Speaker 1: this price match? And this is where I have a question.
- 25:04Speaker 1: It says what you do is have your order number ready,
- 25:08Speaker 1: have your whole thing, all the details ready to go,
- 25:11Speaker 1: and click chat. So I click chat and it says, Hi,
- 25:15Speaker 1: I'm Lola, how can I help you? So I know
- 25:18Speaker 1: it's just a bot. It's just a it's not a
- 25:21Speaker 1: human being. So I say, hey, I'm just inquiring about
- 25:24Speaker 1: the price match guarantee because I'm following the directions. This
- 25:27Speaker 1: is how you go about doing it. Go through the
- 25:29Speaker 1: whole what's your order number?
- 25:30Speaker 6: Here?
- 25:31Speaker 1: It is, Oh, that could be very frustrating when you
- 25:34Speaker 1: find something at a lower price after you've purchased it.
- 25:36Speaker 1: I said, cool, how do I get the price? How
- 25:39Speaker 1: do I get the difference? Matter? Well, I'm not authorized
- 25:42Speaker 1: to do that, but I can transfer you to somebody
- 25:44Speaker 1: who is. And I thought, well, that's the whole point
- 25:46Speaker 1: of this part. Okay, please do Five minutes later, Hi
- 25:50Speaker 1: I'm Jason. How can I help you today? I need
- 25:53Speaker 1: to get this price match thing done. Oh I can't
- 25:56Speaker 1: do that for you, but let me transfer you to
- 25:58Speaker 1: somebody who can. Hi, I'm Maynard, how can I help you?
- 26:01Speaker 1: This goes on forever, and then I lost me a
- 26:04Speaker 1: chatbot by the way, right, so I know it's just
- 26:06Speaker 1: a bot, but I'm trying to be polite to it
- 26:09Speaker 1: in a weird way, and so it finally says, yeah,
- 26:13Speaker 1: you can't do that here, we recommend just going to
- 26:15Speaker 1: the store. Sorry, right in cool, this has been a
- 26:17Speaker 1: colossal waste of time. Then I go to the store
- 26:20Speaker 1: and it was the easiest thing I ever did. Yeah,
- 26:22Speaker 1: I said, yeah, okay, here it is boom. Here you're
- 26:25Speaker 1: going to get money back on your debit card.
- 26:26Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 26:27Speaker 7: I immediately would have gone to the store and not
- 26:29Speaker 7: dealt with the chat bot because I know it's a
- 26:31Speaker 7: waste of time. But with that said, I would try
- 26:35Speaker 7: the chat bot for like, probably like twenty seconds, and
- 26:39Speaker 7: I'd ask it the question, and sometimes the chatbot, because
- 26:42Speaker 7: I just dealt with this yesterday, will say, oh, let
- 26:45Speaker 7: me connect you with an actual human. Yeah, And if
- 26:47Speaker 7: it did, then I would say, then I would sit
- 26:50Speaker 7: around and maybe chat with it.
- 26:51Speaker 1: How do you know it's an actual human.
- 26:53Speaker 7: Because I will acknowledge that, Hey, I'm transferring you to
- 26:56Speaker 7: an actual.
- 26:59Speaker 1: Two times say dog, yeah.
- 27:01Speaker 3: It's weird because I've I mean, not that price match.
- 27:04Speaker 3: I've never done that. But when it comes like a
- 27:05Speaker 3: return or refund, the chatbots just like here, just take
- 27:08Speaker 3: take some money like that. It's so easy on Amazon.
- 27:11Speaker 7: But when it comes to like a customer service thing
- 27:14Speaker 7: like dude, it's the worst. Like you're dealing with like
- 27:16Speaker 7: a hotel, airline or stuff. It'll waste your time for
- 27:20Speaker 7: a good fifteen to twenty minutes before it tells you
- 27:23Speaker 7: you got to call the number. So that's why I
- 27:25Speaker 7: never even deal with.
- 27:26Speaker 1: Those that I was just following the directions to the letter.
- 27:29Speaker 1: Yeah you want to click this, then say this, put
- 27:32Speaker 1: your order number here, blah blah blah weah.
- 27:33Speaker 3: That's true. But if you're anything like me, and I
- 27:35Speaker 3: think in some ways you are, when it comes to
- 27:37Speaker 3: like non confrontation, like going to the store feels a
- 27:39Speaker 3: little confrontational, I'd rather deal with this on Amazon.
- 27:42Speaker 1: I was going to go straight to the store directly,
- 27:44Speaker 1: but I just didn't want to drive there. It's kind
- 27:47Speaker 1: of far, and I'll do anything to avoid driving areas.
- 27:51Speaker 3: So what did you say to them when you went
- 27:53Speaker 3: to the store.
- 27:53Speaker 1: I said, Hey, I tried to do this on your chatbot,
- 27:55Speaker 1: which and I felt like kind of a Karen because
- 27:58Speaker 1: I'm sure he doesn't care. Said your chatbot things sucks
- 28:01Speaker 1: because it told me to come here after spending literally
- 28:04Speaker 1: half an hour on this. Damnatpot. Oh, yeah, it's pretty bad.
- 28:11Speaker 4: At first, he said, Hi, I'm Greg Gory.
- 28:12Speaker 1: Yeah that's what I'm Greg Gory. Yeah, I would like
- 28:15Speaker 1: your price match guaranteed. But I was all prepared to say,
- 28:18Speaker 1: you know what, just cancel the order and I'll do
- 28:21Speaker 1: it on Amazon eat it. But I want I don't
- 28:24Speaker 1: want the boxes because I'm going to have it when
- 28:26Speaker 1: they deliver it and they take the boxes away, which
- 28:28Speaker 1: to me is worth its weight and goal.
- 28:31Speaker 3: Yeah you know, yeah fun knife I do.
- 28:35Speaker 1: But still, I know I've been putting that lately.
- 28:39Speaker 4: That is the worst.
- 28:40Speaker 7: When you get a delivery and they leave something behind
- 28:42Speaker 7: that it's just like so big that you can't put
- 28:44Speaker 7: it in your trash like I had that happen to
- 28:47Speaker 7: me probably like two and a half years ago. They
- 28:50Speaker 7: left some plywood at my house with the delivery, I
- 28:52Speaker 7: still can't get rid of it.
- 28:53Speaker 1: Yeah, I can sit on pallets. Yeah, so I'll tell you,
- 28:58Speaker 1: I'll throw them in the back of the truck and
- 28:59Speaker 1: I'll drive around the palettes for about a month until
- 29:02Speaker 1: I find a dumpster that I could just throw unlocked
- 29:04Speaker 1: dumpstereeah and I've done that recently too.
- 29:07Speaker 4: Sucks, but chatbots don't deal with them.
- 29:11Speaker 1: Waste of time. And they made it shockingly easy when
- 29:14Speaker 1: and I had all the groundwork laid. How I'm going
- 29:17Speaker 1: to threaten to cancel your creat go to Amazon? But no,
- 29:22Speaker 1: he made it easy.
- 29:23Speaker 5: And Greg, how long did it take you to drive
- 29:25Speaker 5: to the store?
- 29:26Speaker 1: Not that long?
- 29:27Speaker 6: Right, Like, it would have been faster if you just
- 29:29Speaker 6: did that right away versus a half hour.
- 29:30Speaker 1: Chatter I would have been See, I'm learning every day.
- 29:33Speaker 3: You're doing good?
- 29:34Speaker 1: All right? Well, thanks for letting me vent and thanks
- 29:35Speaker 1: for confirming that I'm way too polite to actual robots.
- 29:38Speaker 1: I appreciate it. Welcome back to the Woody Show. You
- 29:43Speaker 1: can reach us at eight seven seven forty four Woody,
- 29:45Speaker 1: and you can text us two two nine eighty seven.
- 29:48Speaker 1: We do have a text from the three two three
- 29:50Speaker 1: did Woody die? No, yeah, again, he did not die.
- 29:53Speaker 3: He's live and well when Sam died.
- 29:56Speaker 1: Oh that's yes, Oh okay, yes you did die. He
- 29:59Speaker 1: did die. He had a affection on the staff of
- 30:02Speaker 1: staff on the wier. Yeah, everybody else is here today
- 30:08Speaker 1: on a Wednesday morning and menace. One of your obsessions
- 30:11Speaker 1: I know is would you rather.
- 30:12Speaker 7: Yeah, every we pulled a little bit behind the curtain.
- 30:15Speaker 7: Uh the other day where I said, every you know
- 30:20Speaker 7: meeting we have always pitched would you rather?
- 30:22Speaker 4: Because fun? And I think we could play every day
- 30:26Speaker 4: and when you get old, let's pay.
- 30:28Speaker 7: So all right, here's what would you rather? Now this
- 30:30Speaker 7: one is a little bit different because for the fellas
- 30:34Speaker 7: it's would you rather have? And then for the ladies
- 30:37Speaker 7: in the room, it's which one would you rather deal with? Okay,
- 30:40Speaker 7: so here we go. Would you rather have one testicle
- 30:44Speaker 7: that's the size of an orange? Or have one hundred
- 30:49Speaker 7: testicles the size of peas?
- 30:52Speaker 1: Oh?
- 30:52Speaker 4: God, so one really large one or one hundred small
- 30:58Speaker 4: pea sized ones?
- 31:00Speaker 3: To me, it sounds obvious.
- 31:01Speaker 1: Well, I'm wondering if the hundred small ones could be
- 31:03Speaker 1: in one bag, or would it look like you have
- 31:05Speaker 1: a hundred.
- 31:06Speaker 4: It look like you have a little hundred All right,
- 31:07Speaker 4: I guess.
- 31:08Speaker 1: I'm going orange.
- 31:09Speaker 4: Yeah, I guess that's so obvious.
- 31:12Speaker 3: Yeah, shocking. And I don't think anyone would pick the.
- 31:14Speaker 7: Peace Yeah, the piece I think would look super weird woe,
- 31:18Speaker 7: no kidding.
- 31:19Speaker 1: But only one of them the size of an orange? Yeah,
- 31:21Speaker 1: not both.
- 31:22Speaker 3: And I'm sure there are women who have dealt with that.
- 31:26Speaker 3: I've seen, you know, just like one in the orange bag. Yeah.
- 31:29Speaker 4: And by the way, what is there for a woman
- 31:31Speaker 4: really to deal with? By the way, I mean they
- 31:33Speaker 4: have to look at it?
- 31:34Speaker 3: Yeah, which one would be less horrific?
- 31:36Speaker 1: For how long? Though?
- 31:38Speaker 3: Down there?
- 31:38Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 31:38Speaker 7: I guess so I would look all right, I guess
- 31:40Speaker 7: that one was pretty easy. Now, all right, let's go
- 31:42Speaker 7: with one that's a little bit light. Then how about this?
- 31:45Speaker 7: Would you rather have to dance everywhere that you went?
- 31:49Speaker 7: So if you have to go get coffee you have
- 31:51Speaker 7: to dance or on the way to or sing everything
- 31:55Speaker 7: that you say?
- 31:56Speaker 1: Ooh, I think sing?
- 32:00Speaker 10: But you really musicals, Greg.
- 32:02Speaker 1: I know, but I can't talk to you be seen.
- 32:04Speaker 4: You could do that little like the little like like,
- 32:07Speaker 4: you know.
- 32:07Speaker 1: The like like when Ellen would do.
- 32:09Speaker 3: Her shaking your shoulders and like, but like, in the
- 32:13Speaker 3: spirit of the last question, I'm trying to think which
- 32:15Speaker 3: one would be easier for us to tolerate watching people
- 32:18Speaker 3: who sing stuff?
- 32:19Speaker 4: Are you worst?
- 32:20Speaker 1: That's an annoying guy?
- 32:22Speaker 3: Like if you had to, I mean, as somebody who
- 32:24Speaker 3: loves musical theater and comes from that background, I couldn't
- 32:27Speaker 3: handle you guys singing everything you said. There's no way
- 32:30Speaker 3: I'd rather you dance to the copy machine.
- 32:32Speaker 4: Every every day.
- 32:33Speaker 1: What would you rather do?
- 32:35Speaker 8: This isn't just yeah, having deal with me dancing.
- 32:40Speaker 3: I do like to sing, as you guys know, but
- 32:42Speaker 3: I I think it'd be kind of.
- 32:44Speaker 1: Well, you know what. You would be out of a
- 32:45Speaker 1: job if that was the case. Why because if you
- 32:48Speaker 1: had a voiceover gig and they were saying, here's your
- 32:50Speaker 1: copy and you had to sing.
- 32:52Speaker 3: It recommended for people before, Right, Yeah, that makes sense.
- 32:57Speaker 3: I think that. I I'm also a bad dancer, but
- 33:01Speaker 3: I think I would dance everywhere, well all day. But
- 33:04Speaker 3: what if you're going to an emergency and you're like
- 33:06Speaker 3: running away from like somebody with an axe and you're
- 33:09Speaker 3: like popping in lock.
- 33:10Speaker 10: In different dances?
- 33:11Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, you do like the ballet style leaps true?
- 33:14Speaker 5: Sure you just moon.
- 33:15Speaker 10: Walk Away interpreted them.
- 33:17Speaker 3: But what would you rather if you had one special skill?
- 33:21Speaker 3: Would you rather be an unbelievable singer and unbelievable dancer?
- 33:25Speaker 3: Like if people love listening to you sing, I loved
- 33:27Speaker 3: watching your dance.
- 33:28Speaker 4: I think they're about to be at the point where
- 33:30Speaker 4: where singing isn't going to be that hard to do?
- 33:33Speaker 4: Why thanks to the old Ai?
- 33:34Speaker 3: Well no, just in general, for like, see best hummus
- 33:36Speaker 3: a few bars and you just like brought us to tears.
- 33:39Speaker 4: I wouldn't want to Yeah, I wouldn't want to annoy people,
- 33:41Speaker 4: because again, if you if you're a person who sings
- 33:42Speaker 4: at all in public, you are annoying one of these guys. Yeah,
- 33:48Speaker 4: and it takes a half a second for him to
- 33:50Speaker 4: piss off everybody.
- 33:51Speaker 1: True.
- 33:53Speaker 5: See, I never mind it.
- 33:54Speaker 6: I think singing, enjoy yourself. It's just that you're having
- 33:58Speaker 6: a great time do it.
- 33:59Speaker 3: Who cares?
- 34:00Speaker 4: I'm going dancing all day?
- 34:01Speaker 1: Are you?
- 34:01Speaker 4: Okay?
- 34:02Speaker 1: Great? I'm having a cough attack. I didn't even sleep
- 34:05Speaker 1: because I was coughing all night. I'm getting over this
- 34:06Speaker 1: cold that you.
- 34:07Speaker 4: Gave me Patient zero.
- 34:10Speaker 7: Right, okay, all right, you guys want to go super dark,
- 34:13Speaker 7: then the next one.
- 34:14Speaker 4: Okay, here we go.
- 34:16Speaker 7: Would you rather find out after that you married your
- 34:20Speaker 7: sibling or accidentally kill a parent?
- 34:26Speaker 8: Oh?
- 34:28Speaker 10: This is good menace accident.
- 34:30Speaker 4: He's also still pretty easy.
- 34:32Speaker 10: Yeah, you didn't know you get divorced, right, Yeah.
- 34:35Speaker 4: But you like hooked up with them and stuff, and
- 34:37Speaker 4: everybody knows you did because your mom's not dead. And
- 34:47Speaker 4: Hard that's the cool one.
- 34:50Speaker 3: Was hard? No, the dancing because he hates both. All right, Well,
- 34:53Speaker 3: it's and you have to remember, it's not like the
- 34:55Speaker 3: sibling you know now you're marrying. It's like if I
- 34:58Speaker 3: found out my husband I related, I'd be like, that's
- 35:00Speaker 3: kind of gross.
- 35:01Speaker 4: Now would you still stay married?
- 35:04Speaker 7: And I found full on blood relatives and brother and
- 35:08Speaker 7: sister long lost?
- 35:10Speaker 3: That's a tough one, it is.
- 35:13Speaker 10: I mean, yes, you thought about it, you would say, because.
- 35:15Speaker 3: The question isn't my current brother, what we get married,
- 35:19Speaker 3: which the answer is one of my parents got to die.
- 35:22Speaker 3: But it's if I found out that Andy and I
- 35:24Speaker 3: were full siblings.
- 35:26Speaker 10: This man you already love.
- 35:27Speaker 3: Yeah, I want I'll stay with them. Oh wow, yeah,
- 35:30Speaker 3: I'll stay with you.
- 35:31Speaker 4: I mean you are from Kansas, you know gross. I
- 35:35Speaker 4: think the real question you find out you are direct
- 35:39Speaker 4: siblings and you already have and and you find this
- 35:42Speaker 4: out because you just birthday Flipper baby. Now, so there's
- 35:50Speaker 4: a like, Okay, let me ask you. Would you stay married?
- 35:53Speaker 1: Uh?
- 35:54Speaker 4: Stay married? No? But yeah, I would not want my
- 35:57Speaker 4: parents to die.
- 35:58Speaker 1: I think it depends on how long you've been married.
- 36:00Speaker 3: Like with you, Gina, you were very five years.
- 36:03Speaker 1: Five years, you're established, you love them, we.
- 36:05Speaker 3: Got a house, right, So.
- 36:08Speaker 1: So what you find out is your brother and all
- 36:09Speaker 1: of a sudden you have to change your entire life
- 36:11Speaker 1: or we just don't and you're not going to have
- 36:12Speaker 1: kids together.
- 36:13Speaker 3: No, or we just don't bang anymore.
- 36:15Speaker 4: So you will have no Flipper baby, no Flipper babies here.
- 36:18Speaker 4: Well what if not not only you find out, but
- 36:20Speaker 4: everyone finds out?
- 36:22Speaker 1: Yeah, you know what everyone?
- 36:24Speaker 3: Everyone would find out because I would be the first
- 36:26Speaker 3: to tell everyone. I think you guys, oh my god,
- 36:28Speaker 3: I guess what I just found out.
- 36:31Speaker 4: You wouldn't legally be able to still stay married.
- 36:34Speaker 3: That's a good question.
- 36:35Speaker 4: If you told everybody about it.
- 36:39Speaker 3: Back in the day, you had to take a you
- 36:41Speaker 3: had to do a blood test before you got married
- 36:43Speaker 3: to make sure you weren't real siblings. Yeah, that's when
- 36:45Speaker 3: they were marrying their cousins and exactly. But I'm talking
- 36:48Speaker 3: about like the eighties.
- 36:49Speaker 4: I thought the blood test was for like STDs and stuff.
- 36:51Speaker 3: I thought the blood test was to make sure you
- 36:52Speaker 3: weren't siblings.
- 36:53Speaker 4: We didn't, but we didn't have genetic testing back then.
- 36:57Speaker 3: Then how come it was in every movie in.
- 36:58Speaker 4: The eighties, like We'll get our blood to I think
- 37:01Speaker 4: it was really varied by location.
- 37:02Speaker 1: My parents got married in New York. They did the
- 37:04Speaker 1: blood test. I don't know why. I have no idea.
- 37:08Speaker 3: Sorry, you're TYPO positive.
- 37:10Speaker 4: You guys can get married, right, Okay, yeah, yeah, so
- 37:12Speaker 4: again see best Mega correct pre marriage blood test for
- 37:15Speaker 4: mandatory medical screenings in most US states for syphilis. I'm
- 37:19Speaker 4: also doing rebella.
- 37:23Speaker 3: You're not allowed to marry someone with syphilist Well, they
- 37:26Speaker 3: just didn't want to spread it because rimber syphilis.
- 37:29Speaker 4: You know, I famously killed al capone, like some of
- 37:31Speaker 4: these things used to be deadly. But how does that
- 37:33Speaker 4: stop you from getting married? It's it's just one. It's
- 37:36Speaker 4: it's a way to It puts it on your It
- 37:39Speaker 4: checks it, you know, it makes sure you're at least
- 37:41Speaker 4: getting checked for it.
- 37:41Speaker 3: But wouldn't you rather than get married, So they're not
- 37:43Speaker 3: banging everyone in town, just that one person.
- 37:45Speaker 6: No, because it's almost because you would get married under
- 37:48Speaker 6: false pretenses and going like I married this person with
- 37:51Speaker 6: syphilis and I didn't know it and you couldn't get
- 37:53Speaker 6: divorced back then, that was a big deal.
- 37:55Speaker 4: I think it's less about that, and it's more about
- 37:57Speaker 4: making test mandatory. It's some point for certain pete for
- 37:59Speaker 4: just for people in general getting it, you know, getting
- 38:01Speaker 4: making it more you're aware of it. Yeah, Now, Sammy,
- 38:04Speaker 4: are you staying married to your brother?
- 38:05Speaker 6: And yeah, I'm staying he's your hottest relative.
- 38:12Speaker 4: Yeah, round the room, start Sammy.
- 38:17Speaker 1: Okay there thinkers all right, and now we got to
- 38:23Speaker 1: dance into a quick break and we'll be back with
- 38:25Speaker 1: the Woody Show.
- 38:29Speaker 10: Are you all in.
- 38:32Speaker 1: The Woody Show? The Woody Show. It's your Wednesday morning
- 38:38Speaker 1: Woody Show. Woody is back on Monday.
- 38:42Speaker 3: I have a privacy question for you guys. I think
- 38:45Speaker 3: that's kind of what it comes down to. And I
- 38:47Speaker 3: really want to know where everyone stands on this because
- 38:48Speaker 3: I think that first, I think reg and I may differ,
- 38:51Speaker 3: But a couple of days ago, I had like a
- 38:55Speaker 3: lunch date with a friend that I ha'n't seen a
- 38:56Speaker 3: while now that I moved. We live like forty minutes
- 38:59Speaker 3: away from each other, so I'm coming in farther you know.
- 39:01Speaker 3: She's like around the corner from the restaurant. I'm like,
- 39:03Speaker 3: you know, thirty five minutes away, and I was running
- 39:06Speaker 3: a little bit late, so I told her like, I'm
- 39:07Speaker 3: about five minutes late, you know, because I'm coming from
- 39:10Speaker 3: farther away. I'll be there soon. Her response on the
- 39:13Speaker 3: text was, no worries, just share your location with me
- 39:17Speaker 3: so I know when you're close by. And I was
- 39:20Speaker 3: very thank you, Morgan. I was very very irritated by that.
- 39:25Speaker 3: A I just told you I have five minutes late,
- 39:27Speaker 3: so just you know, set your watch an extra five
- 39:28Speaker 3: minutes and I'll be there. I have to share my
- 39:31Speaker 3: location with anybody. It is none of your business where
- 39:34Speaker 3: I am. I will forget to turn it off. I
- 39:36Speaker 3: am terrified of popins, Like if friends know that I'm
- 39:40Speaker 3: home and can see that, I can't handle it. Am
- 39:42Speaker 3: I being insane because I feel like other people don't
- 39:45Speaker 3: take sharing locations that seriously.
- 39:47Speaker 1: Well, of all people, I might have a tech answer
- 39:50Speaker 1: for you. I believe if I'm not wrong, I believe
- 39:53Speaker 1: you can temporarily share it.
- 39:55Speaker 3: Right, Yeah, you can just do that, but a much
- 39:58Speaker 3: like Greg, it's the principle, I don't want to I
- 40:01Speaker 3: don't want to be tracked and be surveilled and be
- 40:04Speaker 3: I will for sure forget to turn that off. Now,
- 40:07Speaker 3: other people have shared it with me, and I like
- 40:09Speaker 3: seeing where they are, but I'm not bothering them.
- 40:11Speaker 4: Can't you pre tell? You can pre take take a
- 40:13Speaker 4: tell it to like say, hey, right, you can say
- 40:15Speaker 4: it's the end.
- 40:15Speaker 3: Of the day. But if I tell you I'm five
- 40:18Speaker 3: minutes late, what do you know? Yeah, no problem. To
- 40:21Speaker 3: share your location with me so I know when you're
- 40:23Speaker 3: close by.
- 40:24Speaker 2: F off.
- 40:25Speaker 5: Yeah, just can't necessary.
- 40:26Speaker 6: But what I will do with people if I'm meeting
- 40:29Speaker 6: them somewhere or going somewhere and I put into my
- 40:31Speaker 6: phone on my maps, you know, directions, I'll share that
- 40:35Speaker 6: with the person so they can see if I'm suck
- 40:36Speaker 6: in traffic or what time I'm getting there. They'll get
- 40:38Speaker 6: updates on my E t A, but not my location.
- 40:41Speaker 3: But that's because you're an honest person. We've had to
- 40:43Speaker 3: sort of secretly install it on friends in the past
- 40:45Speaker 3: because They're like, we're right on the corner. I'm like,
- 40:47Speaker 3: but you're still in your bathtop, like you're not, so
- 40:50Speaker 3: you do use it? Well, that's what I'm saying people.
- 40:52Speaker 3: I'm fine with knowing where other people are. I do
- 40:55Speaker 3: not want to share mine with anybody else. I'm paranoid
- 40:57Speaker 3: that people are going to stop by if I'm home.
- 41:00Speaker 3: I don't like to feel surveilled.
- 41:01Speaker 4: Do you really think you're that popular?
- 41:03Speaker 3: I have friends that love to stop in. Yeah, I'm popular. No,
- 41:06Speaker 3: I'm people that will do it.
- 41:07Speaker 6: I get that though I had I was sharing my location.
- 41:10Speaker 6: I would share my location with some friends. We'd go
- 41:12Speaker 6: to festivals and stuff, and it was but we would
- 41:14Speaker 6: do it indefinitely.
- 41:15Speaker 5: And then after that they just have your location. And
- 41:18Speaker 5: one of my friends had my location.
- 41:20Speaker 6: I had driven up to her area where I used
- 41:22Speaker 6: to live, and I was meeting up with a different
- 41:24Speaker 6: friend and I got a text from.
- 41:25Speaker 5: Her like, oh, you're up here, what are you doing?
- 41:28Speaker 3: And I didn't call her because I was hating with Sammy.
- 41:32Speaker 3: Do you think you're that popular?
- 41:34Speaker 1: Women? Women are doing this? Yeah?
- 41:36Speaker 4: Because I'm like, I share my location all the time.
- 41:39Speaker 4: I don't care.
- 41:40Speaker 3: Okay, but do you share it with your wife.
- 41:42Speaker 4: Yeah, like my friend. I think I've had like one
- 41:45Speaker 4: friend that has had my location for like five years.
- 41:48Speaker 3: Like it's never occurred to me either to share it
- 41:50Speaker 3: with my husband. Like why do we need, like do
- 41:53Speaker 3: we need to know where each other?
- 41:54Speaker 2: You knows?
- 41:55Speaker 10: A safety thing? Like God forbid, he can't get a
- 41:57Speaker 10: hold of you. He can look and be like, oh,
- 41:58Speaker 10: that's where she is, on the side of the road,
- 42:00Speaker 10: bleeding out.
- 42:02Speaker 4: All people.
- 42:03Speaker 10: I share my location with everyone. That's probably weird, right,
- 42:07Speaker 10: I was not expecting that value.
- 42:08Speaker 4: But that's odd that something that you're married to you
- 42:11Speaker 4: don't want.
- 42:12Speaker 3: She has an Android. I don't know how you do that.
- 42:14Speaker 1: Can you share location from iPhone to Android?
- 42:16Speaker 4: Well you have to get a different app, yeah, but
- 42:19Speaker 4: maybe not with the built in apps. Yeah, this is
- 42:21Speaker 4: like it's as Morgan said, that's literally a safety thing.
- 42:24Speaker 1: I was.
- 42:24Speaker 4: I heard a story recently where a teenage like a
- 42:28Speaker 4: nineteen year old daughter did not come home and the
- 42:32Speaker 4: uh and the father looked it up. Oh, she was
- 42:35Speaker 4: literally on the side of the road bleeding out. Your
- 42:38Speaker 4: dad luckily was the first person to get there and
- 42:40Speaker 4: probably saved her life by getting there.
- 42:41Speaker 3: And if you are in charge of a minor. Absolutely,
- 42:45Speaker 3: that should be honest. Not that's not okay. If you're
- 42:47Speaker 3: if you're worried about your kid turning.
- 42:49Speaker 4: On adult into adults, don't get into car Ra.
- 42:51Speaker 10: Yeah, my mom doesn't text me. I'll check her location.
- 42:54Speaker 10: Really okay.
- 42:55Speaker 3: It's so weird because this is the same group that
- 42:57Speaker 3: says that everybody's paranoid all the time, and like, we're
- 43:00Speaker 3: we're too afraid that, you know, something bad's gonna happen
- 43:02Speaker 3: to us when the odds are basically but we're.
- 43:04Speaker 1: Talking about friends and family of select few people, mat Ram.
- 43:07Speaker 10: How does that change Back to your situation though, If
- 43:09Speaker 10: she's waiting at a restaurant and you're five minutes away,
- 43:12Speaker 10: it is weird to ask for a location, thank you.
- 43:14Speaker 10: It's not like.
- 43:16Speaker 3: Friends, you know, let me Yeah, like I'll be there
- 43:18Speaker 3: five minutes later, So set your watch for five minutes later.
- 43:21Speaker 10: So what did you tell her, Geena? You said, na bitch?
- 43:23Speaker 3: I said, no, I did. I just ignored it. I
- 43:25Speaker 3: just ignored it and drove to the restaurant.
- 43:26Speaker 1: Because you're gonna be there in five minutes.
- 43:29Speaker 3: No, do you share your location?
- 43:30Speaker 1: Share my location with two people? Mario and an old
- 43:34Speaker 1: friend of mine, and I have to remember that I
- 43:36Speaker 1: share it with an old friend of mine because, like you,
- 43:38Speaker 1: I will do anything short of cutting off a limb
- 43:42Speaker 1: to avoid a phone call. And if this person calls
- 43:45Speaker 1: me and I don't answer, I have to remember. I
- 43:47Speaker 1: can't say, oh, I was driving or whatever. I have
- 43:50Speaker 1: to remember, oh wait, they have my location.
- 43:53Speaker 4: I can't that popular with.
- 43:55Speaker 1: This person, very center of their lives. I get that,
- 43:58Speaker 1: and I share it with Mario out of essentially paranoia.
- 44:01Speaker 1: If I know he's driving somewhere, I want to know,
- 44:03Speaker 1: like did he get there?
- 44:05Speaker 3: Well, he does like long distance drive sometimes. Yeah, we
- 44:09Speaker 3: don't really do like I'm at home or I'm I'm
- 44:11Speaker 3: staring at you, or I'm at work where you could
- 44:13Speaker 3: hear that I'm at work.
- 44:13Speaker 1: And I wish I could share with my parents, but
- 44:16Speaker 1: they're dorks with androids. Oh, I don't know if you
- 44:19Speaker 1: can share it.
- 44:19Speaker 3: And that's the thing. My husband has an Android and
- 44:21Speaker 3: I'm not. I'm not gonna go digging for third party
- 44:23Speaker 3: apps for this.
- 44:24Speaker 10: I have seven people that can look where I am
- 44:26Speaker 10: right now. Oh wow, one of my friends.
- 44:28Speaker 3: In chicag Okay, now that being said, when you go
- 44:30Speaker 3: out of town in a few days. I would also
- 44:32Speaker 3: like you to share your location with me.
- 44:34Speaker 5: You would like that I would see other people's location.
- 44:39Speaker 3: That's exactly because I'm exactly because I'm not nuts. I'm
- 44:42Speaker 3: not like, we'll fly to Tokyo and see what's doing
- 44:45Speaker 3: with Morgan. I'm not gonna bother anyone. I like, Oh,
- 44:48Speaker 3: like Kristen's at home. Like that's fun. I don't care.
- 44:51Speaker 3: I never look at it, but I don't want to
- 44:53Speaker 3: be tracked. The idea of it drives me insane.
- 44:56Speaker 4: Okay, so FYI real quick. The easiest way to share
- 44:59Speaker 4: a location between iPhones and the superior Android is through
- 45:02Speaker 4: Google Maps apps.
- 45:03Speaker 3: You can yeah, google Maps, you need WhatsApp just I
- 45:06Speaker 3: think there's a three sixty six.
- 45:09Speaker 1: Now.
- 45:09Speaker 4: The other question that's coming in on this is if
- 45:12Speaker 4: you were thirty minutes away initially, and then you were
- 45:15Speaker 4: five minutes away, how were you knowing that your friend
- 45:17Speaker 4: was texting you for information while you were driving?
- 45:21Speaker 1: We all know the answer that.
- 45:22Speaker 3: Please, that's a that's a dumb question. That's a super
- 45:25Speaker 3: dumb question.
- 45:26Speaker 4: So she's breaking the law too, right, car are well?
- 45:28Speaker 3: No, Siri tells me? Because I love Siri and I
- 45:30Speaker 3: think she's amazing, as well as the A word I
- 45:33Speaker 3: don't have any of those are using it.
- 45:34Speaker 1: Well, you're also the person that I know for a
- 45:36Speaker 1: fact you got in your car five minutes ago. I
- 45:39Speaker 1: know how long your drive is, and you're sending me photos.
- 45:41Speaker 3: How many recks have I ever been in her traffic issues?
- 45:44Speaker 1: I wouldn't know me because you don't share your location
- 45:45Speaker 1: with making how am I supposed to know? The Woody
- 45:50Speaker 1: show a quick recap of Gina. You were asking do
- 45:55Speaker 1: you share your location with friends? I had. I share
- 45:58Speaker 1: it with two people, Mario and mine, and I just
- 46:01Speaker 1: realized there are times where I will text this person
- 46:05Speaker 1: and say hey, I just arrived at such and such
- 46:07Speaker 1: a place, and they respond back with oh, I know,
- 46:10Speaker 1: I just checked. And this is out of the blue.
- 46:13Speaker 1: It wasn't like I told this person, hey, I'm going
- 46:16Speaker 1: to such and such a place. I had no contact
- 46:18Speaker 1: with this person, and then they say, oh, I know,
- 46:21Speaker 1: I just looked.
- 46:21Speaker 3: I don't like it.
- 46:24Speaker 1: Why are you looking at?
- 46:25Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 46:26Speaker 6: One of my friends who I was sharing my location with,
- 46:28Speaker 6: and she would check it, so I was like, hmmm,
- 46:30Speaker 6: I don't really like this, and I stopped sharing my
- 46:33Speaker 6: location with her and just everybody, because who needed my location?
- 46:36Speaker 6: And when I stopped sharing it with her, she text
- 46:39Speaker 6: me and was like, why aren't you sharing your location
- 46:41Speaker 6: with me anymore?
- 46:42Speaker 2: Wow?
- 46:42Speaker 3: This is why, because we're getting guys.
- 46:45Speaker 10: Yeah, you're checking all the time.
- 46:46Speaker 1: Yeah, you're out of the blue.
- 46:47Speaker 3: Necessary.
- 46:49Speaker 5: I think she would check because she had.
- 46:50Speaker 6: A lot of her friend's locations, and I think it
- 46:52Speaker 6: was one of those things where you just have apps
- 46:54Speaker 6: that you go to and look at. I think she
- 46:56Speaker 6: would just go and look and always see where everybody was.
- 46:59Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, not a fan, and then at the restaurant
- 47:02Speaker 1: when you finally met up with your friend, it never
- 47:04Speaker 1: be Oh that's good.
- 47:05Speaker 3: Yeah, thank god put it that.
- 47:07Speaker 4: I'm just saying, share your location with me, because I
- 47:09Speaker 4: will go find you.
- 47:10Speaker 1: Okay. I think I will share mine.
- 47:12Speaker 4: With you camping alone, I will share with all Dennis's travels.
- 47:16Speaker 4: I will not wait for police to find you. I
- 47:19Speaker 4: will go make the effort to find you.
- 47:20Speaker 1: Okay. Yeah, I think it's with all your travels and
- 47:22Speaker 1: I always want to know if you're if you've arrived safely,
- 47:26Speaker 1: So I gotta share mine with you. If you share yourself,
- 47:30Speaker 1: I will show we're back at the Woody show your
- 47:36Speaker 1: Wednesday morning Woody Show, middle of the weekend. Woody's going
- 47:39Speaker 1: to be back on Monday. You can text us two
- 47:44Speaker 1: two nine eighty seven. There is a text here that
- 47:46Speaker 1: I kind of stood out from the eight oh five
- 47:48Speaker 1: that says Sea Bass being all funny, but some people
- 47:51Speaker 1: are just nasty. Back to him, say funny stop.
- 47:57Speaker 3: We're the first to laugh at your funny.
- 47:59Speaker 4: Will you bring the funny?
- 48:01Speaker 1: And I appreciate for you very nice. We're gonna bring
- 48:04Speaker 1: We're gonna bring a game to you right now. This
- 48:06Speaker 1: has probably been played in many a place, but I
- 48:10Speaker 1: think it's gonna be fun. We're gonna call it. Google
- 48:13Speaker 1: says what and this is when you go to Google
- 48:16Speaker 1: and it'll auto fill what you're.
- 48:18Speaker 4: Googling, right sometimes by myself.
- 48:21Speaker 1: Fun. It is fun. It's totally fun. So these are
- 48:24Speaker 1: actual Google auto responses that you'll get or not auto fills.
- 48:28Speaker 1: I should say they're all real, but we're trying to
- 48:31Speaker 1: look for the very first suggestion that comes up. So
- 48:35Speaker 1: it's not like I made up three of them and
- 48:37Speaker 1: one of them, you know, is the This is all real,
- 48:40Speaker 1: but the very first auto fill that pops up on Google.
- 48:44Speaker 1: So starting with and this is multiple choice. Why does
- 48:48Speaker 1: my penis? Is it smell? Feel cold? Have bumps? Does
- 48:58Speaker 1: my penis smell, feel cold? Have bumps?
- 49:02Speaker 4: I think the most common has gotta be smell, Really bumps.
- 49:06Speaker 4: I would say bumps the most thing. It's the most serious.
- 49:10Speaker 4: But is that really the most Like I never had
- 49:12Speaker 4: that before my life. I think smell is the rosin bag,
- 49:16Speaker 4: not the shaft. So you think people are discerning, like
- 49:20Speaker 4: you know, it's not that part that smells, it's the
- 49:22Speaker 4: other thing I can distinguish. Yeah, I can reach.
- 49:26Speaker 1: I'm all right, well you win if you said smell damn,
- 49:31Speaker 1: Why does my penis smell but feel cold and have bumps?
- 49:33Speaker 1: They're up there as well.
- 49:35Speaker 3: Yeah, why does it smell?
- 49:37Speaker 1: It's cold? Oh?
- 49:39Speaker 4: Sweat, sweat? Yeah, just jock it. Yeah, I got yeah.
- 49:45Speaker 4: And men can get yeast infections. It's not as terrible
- 49:51Speaker 4: or long lasting because it's out. It's exterior, so.
- 49:55Speaker 1: Water and if you haven't showered in a while. Maybe
- 49:57Speaker 1: there's just some funky. There's some general funk. How about
- 50:01Speaker 1: this one. My two year old keeps crying for no reason,
- 50:06Speaker 1: touching his privates, throwing up.
- 50:10Speaker 3: Oh, touching his privates and crying for what would they google?
- 50:14Speaker 4: I think, I think, I think the crying is just
- 50:16Speaker 4: the most common thing.
- 50:17Speaker 10: You'd probably go to a doctor.
- 50:19Speaker 3: They do be crying for no reason. I'm going to
- 50:21Speaker 3: go with that too.
- 50:22Speaker 1: Would you say, Morgan crying for no reason? Yeah, oh
- 50:25Speaker 1: you're wrong, touching his privates. Oh okay, my two year
- 50:29Speaker 1: old keeps touching his private They do search for crying
- 50:31Speaker 1: for no reason. Talking answer that because they're there, yea.
- 50:35Speaker 1: And that's the age where you realize it.
- 50:37Speaker 4: Right, so discovering it and they're hilarious.
- 50:40Speaker 1: Tell you.
- 50:41Speaker 4: A lot of two year old I mean girls and boys,
- 50:44Speaker 4: but especially boys are naked a lot. My little brother
- 50:47Speaker 4: always naked. Yeah my choice or but yeah, he was
- 50:50Speaker 4: just he just he would be like people would. My
- 50:52Speaker 4: mom couldn't answer the door because they were naked screaming.
- 50:56Speaker 10: I was the same. I'd be in the back of
- 50:57Speaker 10: the car and by the time we'd get where we're going,
- 50:59Speaker 10: I have all my clothes. It was like a problem.
- 51:03Speaker 4: I was walking down I was talking on a public
- 51:04Speaker 4: like residential streets this weekend, and some two year old
- 51:07Speaker 4: girl just started taking her take her shirt off through
- 51:10Speaker 4: Yeah I see that too, and nobody trying and see that.
- 51:13Speaker 1: What's the age threshold? Like, when do you stop the
- 51:16Speaker 1: child nudity?
- 51:17Speaker 10: It's I don't know, and I don't know what the obsession.
- 51:19Speaker 1: Is, but it is strange. I think most kids are.
- 51:22Speaker 3: I think it's probably less about like I want to
- 51:24Speaker 3: be naked, just like I don't like wearing this restrictive thing.
- 51:26Speaker 3: I've decided. I hated this ugly fact.
- 51:28Speaker 4: I like my dog when I try to put costumes on. Totally,
- 51:31Speaker 4: don't you understand you lok hilarious.
- 51:33Speaker 1: Yeah, here's one about dogs on Google, which is the
- 51:37Speaker 1: first auto fill. My dog won't stop itching, sneezing, licking
- 51:45Speaker 1: his pause. Oh, licking his pause, looking at the pause
- 51:48Speaker 1: is the most annoying. Mm hmm.
- 51:52Speaker 3: Ironically, that's a yeast infection, right, Actually, yes, yes, I'm
- 51:57Speaker 3: going pause.
- 51:57Speaker 1: I heard its allergies when they lick their pause.
- 52:00Speaker 10: I'll be different.
- 52:00Speaker 4: I'm gonna say itching, yeah, because you hotspots very common.
- 52:04Speaker 5: Yeah, I think looking pause.
- 52:06Speaker 1: This one surprised me. Sneezing, my dog won't stop sneezing, itching,
- 52:11Speaker 1: and licking. His paws are up there, but sneezing the
- 52:14Speaker 1: very first one does all those.
- 52:16Speaker 3: Yeah, I like when the dogs do the behavioral sneezing,
- 52:19Speaker 3: Like it's like it's not a real sneeze. It's like
- 52:21Speaker 3: a like to show that they're friendly with other dogs. Really,
- 52:24Speaker 3: that's they do it just to show like I'm not
- 52:26Speaker 3: a threat. Look at me. I'm cute. I know it's
- 52:28Speaker 3: a door.
- 52:29Speaker 4: While looking can be allergies or or bacterial used overgrowth, babies,
- 52:34Speaker 4: and also you know, things like thorns.
- 52:36Speaker 1: Yeah. True, that this one is super vague and wide open.
- 52:39Speaker 1: I just typed in, why does and that's it? Why
- 52:43Speaker 1: does my cat lick me my belly button, smell my
- 52:48Speaker 1: eye keep twitching?
- 52:50Speaker 8: Oh?
- 52:51Speaker 10: Now do we all get the same results if we
- 52:53Speaker 10: were to all type that in?
- 52:54Speaker 1: I only tried it on my laptop and my phone,
- 52:58Speaker 1: and they were the same, I believe.
- 53:00Speaker 4: To Morgan's question, I believe that it does vary if
- 53:02Speaker 4: you especially if you're logged in with your your Google
- 53:04Speaker 4: accounts kinda knows.
- 53:06Speaker 10: Like what you've searched before.
- 53:07Speaker 3: So firsts up for me is why does y m
- 53:12Speaker 3: C A stand for why does so?
- 53:16Speaker 4: No?
- 53:16Speaker 3: Apparently we don't always get the same results.
- 53:19Speaker 4: And here's one. Mine are all dog related because I
- 53:22Speaker 4: just asked a dog question about pause.
- 53:25Speaker 3: Okay, but I'm going to guess because I can't be
- 53:28Speaker 3: the only one who deals with this. Why does my
- 53:30Speaker 3: eyelid keep twitching?
- 53:31Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 53:32Speaker 10: Well, Mine says, why does my throat hurt when I swallow?
- 53:38Speaker 1: Well, you know, you're right, it's why does my eye
- 53:40Speaker 1: keep twitching?
- 53:41Speaker 3: And I've always heard I've never bothered looking it up,
- 53:43Speaker 3: but I've always heard it's your low and potassium. So
- 53:46Speaker 3: my grandma'd be like, have a banana. I don't know,
- 53:48Speaker 3: so you know, because I guess potum bananas. You want
- 53:53Speaker 3: to know?
- 53:53Speaker 4: Is Greg Gory? But is greg This is the sea passes?
- 54:01Speaker 1: Is greg O?
- 54:03Speaker 3: Mine's Mary still alive?
- 54:07Speaker 4: Okay? Is the first Gregory? And then Gregory husband Gregory
- 54:12Speaker 4: net Worth ex wife husband, don't look at yours?
- 54:18Speaker 1: Okay?
- 54:19Speaker 4: And finally the same answer. Finally I'll click on this one.
- 54:21Speaker 4: Who is greg Gory? I put in for I put
- 54:25Speaker 4: Gregory the Woody Show and it says Gregory leaving the
- 54:28Speaker 4: Woody Show.
- 54:30Speaker 1: Any day now, any day now? Okay, I have some
- 54:32Speaker 1: So this is going to be based on my Google.
- 54:34Speaker 1: I did the same thing, but with you guys.
- 54:36Speaker 4: Okay, no, I feel like an idiot.
- 54:43Speaker 7: Later tonight you're doing something. Yeah, I don't want you
- 54:46Speaker 7: guys to be peanut butter and jealous. But check this out. Tonight,
- 54:52Speaker 7: I'm having dinner with Tyler's family. Yeah, so Lazy Dog
- 54:59Speaker 7: Restaurants too.
- 55:00Speaker 4: I work with.
- 55:01Speaker 7: They're doing this family night thing every Wednesday night. So
- 55:04Speaker 7: like for the next six weeks, I'm gonna be having
- 55:07Speaker 7: dinner with listeners families and like my friend's families, and
- 55:12Speaker 7: so the first family I'm having dinner with is Tyler's family.
- 55:16Speaker 3: Like the entire family doesn't.
- 55:17Speaker 4: Have a Yeah, so it's a pretty big group of.
- 55:22Speaker 1: Brothers. Yo.
- 55:23Speaker 7: He has five brothers, mom and dad and yeah, so
- 55:27Speaker 7: it's gonna be It's gonna be fun to hang out
- 55:29Speaker 7: with them. I've hung out with them before, like at
- 55:32Speaker 7: a movie theater, but you know, in a movie theater
- 55:33Speaker 7: don't really get to talk to anybody. So hopefully I'll get,
- 55:35Speaker 7: you know, some more dirt on the love of my life,
- 55:38Speaker 7: Tyler Singe, I think, except for one because he does
- 55:44Speaker 7: have brothers that are in the military and sometimes you know,
- 55:47Speaker 7: they're out of town. So yeah, I'm gonna have that.
- 55:50Speaker 7: But I'm gonna be posting later after my dinner on
- 55:54Speaker 7: Instagram how you can have dinner with me at Lazy
- 55:57Speaker 7: Dog restaurants. So at Menace on Instagram, make sure you
- 55:59Speaker 7: follow me, so I'm gonna have you like comment and
- 56:02Speaker 7: tell me what's your closest Lazy Dog and then maybe
- 56:04Speaker 7: I'll pick you. We'll have dinner together family night, but
- 56:08Speaker 7: every Wednesday night. Yea, they're gonna have like a bunch
- 56:10Speaker 7: of specials at Lazy Dogs. So make sure you get
- 56:12Speaker 7: your family together or your friends together and hang out
- 56:15Speaker 7: at Lazy Dog. And the best part a lot of
- 56:17Speaker 7: their locations, Greg, you can bring your dog.
- 56:21Speaker 5: And they have a little dog many you can get
- 56:23Speaker 5: chicken and rice for you.
- 56:24Speaker 3: It's great.
- 56:25Speaker 1: Tyler, has you said has five brothers? Yeah? Six boys?
- 56:29Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 56:29Speaker 1: I wonder if his mom ever wanted a girl, because
- 56:31Speaker 1: I have friends who they have four daughters, and I
- 56:34Speaker 1: guarantee you that dad is thinking like, oh I wanted
- 56:38Speaker 1: a son.
- 56:39Speaker 3: Well really a girlfriend of mine has three daughters and
- 56:41Speaker 3: was pregnant with twins and had just had a boy
- 56:44Speaker 3: and a girl. So one boy, four girls.
- 56:47Speaker 1: Wow, I can ask her tonight, Greg saying missus, Tyler,
- 56:53Speaker 1: have you ever longed for a daughter?
- 56:55Speaker 8: Ye?
- 56:59Speaker 1: All right, we're back here on the Woody Show and
- 57:01Speaker 1: we have been playing this little game. Google says what
- 57:05Speaker 1: And these are the Google auto fills that popped up
- 57:09Speaker 1: on my Google. I did use my laptop in my
- 57:11Speaker 1: phone to see if they synced up, and they sure
- 57:13Speaker 1: enough did. So these are all actual auto fills that
- 57:16Speaker 1: pop up. You're trying to guess which is the first
- 57:19Speaker 1: one that pops up? They're all real, but which one
- 57:22Speaker 1: is the first one? A few more here? Why do
- 57:25Speaker 1: lesbians okay, why do they drive super Rus? Shop at
- 57:31Speaker 1: sports authority? Move fast?
- 57:34Speaker 3: They do?
- 57:36Speaker 4: I'm gonna say super.
- 57:39Speaker 3: Such a common joke, and I think I know the
- 57:41Speaker 3: answer too.
- 57:42Speaker 10: Okay, I'm going super.
- 57:44Speaker 1: That's that's it. Drive Suberus. It is a huge thing,
- 57:47Speaker 1: and I think they even did a study on it.
- 57:49Speaker 3: They did, and from what I remember, they were just
- 57:52Speaker 3: trying to find like the market of, you know, somebody
- 57:55Speaker 3: with disposable income who had you know, uh, you know
- 57:59Speaker 3: that would go play Is on the weekends and we're
- 58:01Speaker 3: kind of rugging. They realized, oh my god, there's this
- 58:03Speaker 3: untapped market of like women in their thirties and forties,
- 58:06Speaker 3: not merry, disposable income, and a lot of the lesbians
- 58:09Speaker 3: love Zubus and so like it was this like partnership basically,
- 58:13Speaker 3: so it wasn't an accident.
- 58:15Speaker 1: Interesting, that's very cool. And then along that line, why
- 58:18Speaker 1: do gay guys like arm pits sound like that? Where harnesses?
- 58:26Speaker 1: These are good? These are a good good questions? You
- 58:28Speaker 1: mean horses like a harness? Yeah, if you've ever seen
- 58:34Speaker 1: a pride parade there it's suspender. Yeah.
- 58:38Speaker 4: If you go again, go to Folsom Street in San
- 58:41Speaker 4: Francisco the fourth Sunday of September and it's harness city. Right. Yeah,
- 58:46Speaker 4: it's like suspenders that go across your chest.
- 58:49Speaker 1: And to answer the question, I don't know, I've never
- 58:52Speaker 1: understood that, like why are you into that? And armpits
- 58:56Speaker 1: not me? Why do gay guys like armpits sound like that?
- 58:59Speaker 1: Where harness it has to be.
- 59:01Speaker 3: Sound like sound like I'm going to harnesses because I'm intrigued.
- 59:04Speaker 10: I'm imagining older people googling, like, why do they sound
- 59:07Speaker 10: like that?
- 59:08Speaker 1: And that is the correct answer. That's the first auto
- 59:10Speaker 1: film Why do gay guys sound like that? And there's
- 59:12Speaker 1: a movie and there is one, Uh do I sound gay?
- 59:15Speaker 1: What's the name of the movie. I'm super interesting.
- 59:18Speaker 4: Ten years old, this gay guy went around and said,
- 59:20Speaker 4: why am I talking.
- 59:21Speaker 1: Like that girl I'm talk How about I want to
- 59:25Speaker 1: pierce my ear, belly button, nose.
- 59:30Speaker 10: Nose nose.
- 59:31Speaker 3: Yeah, belly button nose.
- 59:33Speaker 10: Seems more of like a home job.
- 59:35Speaker 4: Yeah, I know this is more current. Yeah, it's more
- 59:37Speaker 4: of a the trend today the way. But FYI, all
- 59:39Speaker 4: you people are doing it, you're just trendy losers.
- 59:42Speaker 5: Oh yeah, it's more of a risk.
- 59:43Speaker 4: It's on your face and it makes you look bad
- 59:45Speaker 4: no matter.
- 59:46Speaker 1: Who you are, And that is the correct answer. I
- 59:48Speaker 1: want to pierce my nose as the first auto.
- 59:50Speaker 4: I mean's not the correct answer is please stop me
- 59:51Speaker 4: from right.
- 59:53Speaker 1: Please. I know I'm gonna regret this and look terrible
- 59:55Speaker 1: with it, even if I'm the most beautiful person on
- 59:57Speaker 1: the in the world. It makes you look like trash. Okay,
- 1:00:01Speaker 1: people in the room. The first auto fill. When I
- 1:00:04Speaker 1: on my Google typed not a question, I just wrote,
- 1:00:08Speaker 1: Gina grad.
- 1:00:11Speaker 3: Is no question?
- 1:00:12Speaker 4: No, it is it? No?
- 1:00:13Speaker 1: I just wrote weight loss, woody show. Husband.
- 1:00:20Speaker 4: I feel like husband's the main thing, because people that's
- 1:00:22Speaker 4: it's husband and net worth two big things or spouse,
- 1:00:25Speaker 4: I should say.
- 1:00:25Speaker 3: I would say husband. I'm going the same show.
- 1:00:30Speaker 1: Husband, correct menace husband?
- 1:00:32Speaker 3: Oh interesting, he's in fascinating.
- 1:00:35Speaker 4: I think it's always the.
- 1:00:38Speaker 1: Where they were single or yeah, Okay, I wrote Menace,
- 1:00:42Speaker 1: Woody Show, Gay, Menace, Woody Show, net worth, pet insurance, wife?
- 1:00:53Speaker 3: Well, I think insurance.
- 1:00:54Speaker 10: We get that question so many times, like five times
- 1:00:57Speaker 10: a day.
- 1:00:58Speaker 5: I'm gonna say net worth.
- 1:01:00Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:01:00Speaker 3: Net Worth is always a big one for people.
- 1:01:02Speaker 1: Really, it's wife. Yeah? And what what is your net worth?
- 1:01:09Speaker 1: By the way, I don't even know calculated on nerd calculating. Okay,
- 1:01:13Speaker 1: how about Greg Gory? I didn't write a question just
- 1:01:16Speaker 1: Greg Gory, Woody Show, Wikipedia, cape cod or real name?
- 1:01:25Speaker 4: Please?
- 1:01:27Speaker 1: I know I was hoping for that, but it's it's
- 1:01:29Speaker 1: just Woody Show Wikipedia. What's so boring?
- 1:01:32Speaker 4: We don't have and we famously do not have a
- 1:01:34Speaker 4: Wikipedia and probably will never. Yeah, because it got it
- 1:01:37Speaker 4: was it was flagged, it was deleted.
- 1:01:38Speaker 1: Yes, and then we're gonna end with is cardon ARCS
- 1:01:44Speaker 1: gay a real job? Staged?
- 1:01:50Speaker 4: It's got to be staged, real job, Yeah, I must say,
- 1:01:53Speaker 4: because that that is the I get that message daily.
- 1:01:56Speaker 4: Can I work for you in blank meaning like is
- 1:01:59Speaker 4: it real job?
- 1:02:00Speaker 1: Right? I can't.
- 1:02:01Speaker 3: I cannot work for you in what tempe or say
- 1:02:04Speaker 3: stage because everybody thinks everything's fake.
- 1:02:08Speaker 1: It isn't. The answer is staged. Yeah, stage, she goes.
- 1:02:12Speaker 4: I get that comment one out of a thousand these days,
- 1:02:15Speaker 4: because there's just there's such a huge body of work
- 1:02:18Speaker 4: and if it were stage, one of these people would
- 1:02:20Speaker 4: would say, oh, that's my aunt, you know.
- 1:02:22Speaker 1: And if it was staged, the people you confront would
- 1:02:25Speaker 1: win an oscar.
- 1:02:26Speaker 5: Yeah, totally.
- 1:02:28Speaker 1: You see, we've all seen stage videos and these people
- 1:02:31Speaker 1: are it's so terrible.
- 1:02:34Speaker 4: The audio, the video is bad, like it's just it's
- 1:02:36Speaker 4: so clear. Yeah, and yeah, I very rarely give that comment.
- 1:02:40Speaker 3: Well, we have some breaking news, very very educational news.
- 1:02:44Speaker 3: Somebody from the seven one four says, I were a
- 1:02:46Speaker 3: harness and it's so you can use it for sexual
- 1:02:49Speaker 3: positions and for the person to get a better grip.
- 1:02:52Speaker 3: It's fun, so it's not just a fashion choice.
- 1:02:55Speaker 4: Really, that's where that all that stuff comes from. Is bondage.
- 1:03:02Speaker 4: Bond that's the first that's the bim is bondage.
- 1:03:06Speaker 1: Right there, we go, see how much we learned today learned?
- 1:03:10Speaker 1: Tell me how much how helpful google is? Harness harness
- 1:03:14Speaker 1: shopping Today show it is the Woody Show. It's Wednesday
- 1:03:23Speaker 1: morning and Woody and Jeff g are nuclear lucky because
- 1:03:27Speaker 1: they're going to Cleveland.
- 1:03:30Speaker 4: I didn't realize that's where this radio things. Oh yeah, yeah,
- 1:03:33Speaker 4: that's why I'm not there. Oh that sucks.
- 1:03:36Speaker 1: Them. So they are going to be back on Monday.
- 1:03:38Speaker 1: Everybody else here at Woody Show Headquarters and Seabas is
- 1:03:42Speaker 1: a special treat for us today. Yeah.
- 1:03:43Speaker 3: It has to do with.
- 1:03:44Speaker 4: AI and AI and food. Look, AI is coming. You
- 1:03:48Speaker 4: can cry, why, Well, guess what is here is coming?
- 1:03:52Speaker 4: It's already you have to deal with it. So uh.
- 1:03:55Speaker 4: The AI food ordering though, is a little walkye, And
- 1:03:59Speaker 4: we're gonna kind of stretch test it here and see
- 1:04:01Speaker 4: what it can and cannot handle because menace, we do
- 1:04:04Speaker 4: be wanting our food. Yes, I've experienced this as well. Yeah,
- 1:04:08Speaker 4: so it's there's some issues with some people. This guy here,
- 1:04:11Speaker 4: he teaches you a trick. I would say this is
- 1:04:13Speaker 4: almost even a hack, not quite really, but it's I'd
- 1:04:17Speaker 4: say it's still a trick. So if you if you
- 1:04:18Speaker 4: come up to an AI ordering screen, you know, you
- 1:04:20Speaker 4: know you're at one. Either they'll have a big screen.
- 1:04:23Speaker 4: It's you know, like say, like writing, it's saying what
- 1:04:26Speaker 4: you're saying, So you see what it says, which I
- 1:04:27Speaker 4: actually like a lot, or you just hear this point
- 1:04:29Speaker 4: saying Hi, Hi, welcome to McDonald Yeah, well this guy
- 1:04:34Speaker 4: shows you a quick trick for getting a real human.
- 1:04:36Speaker 3: Welcome to Wendy's. Would you like a spicy chicken or
- 1:04:40Speaker 3: a big bacon Classic Minions meal?
- 1:04:42Speaker 4: Ten water cups?
- 1:04:44Speaker 3: No problem?
- 1:04:45Speaker 2: Well can I go?
- 1:04:47Speaker 3: Hi?
- 1:04:47Speaker 4: I'm picking up a mobile order, So yeah, you give it,
- 1:04:50Speaker 4: give it something that it knows it can't fulfill, and
- 1:04:53Speaker 4: I'll just say okay, kicking you to a human.
- 1:04:55Speaker 7: Nice, because that's a good hack. When I first experienced this,
- 1:04:59Speaker 7: I had no idea was ai and I thought it
- 1:05:04Speaker 7: was too overly happy where I thought they were messing
- 1:05:07Speaker 7: with my food, so I drove away.
- 1:05:10Speaker 4: Oh my god, they're messing around now. To Greg's point,
- 1:05:13Speaker 4: we've talked about this before you and you just heard
- 1:05:16Speaker 4: it right there. I much rather preferred Hi, how are
- 1:05:18Speaker 4: you want? Friendly?
- 1:05:20Speaker 8: And right?
- 1:05:24Speaker 4: Was that even a human that answered on the second exactly?
- 1:05:28Speaker 1: He sounded so dejected.
- 1:05:29Speaker 4: We talked about this for years. You minimum wage people
- 1:05:31Speaker 4: are crapping yourselves out of a job, but you're with
- 1:05:35Speaker 4: your bad customer service, which has pointed out, so I
- 1:05:37Speaker 4: tried it a couple of times. I'm like, let's stress
- 1:05:40Speaker 4: test this AI. So this is I'm helping our robot
- 1:05:42Speaker 4: overlords get better by giving them things like different languages,
- 1:05:46Speaker 4: different accents. I asked them questions.
- 1:05:48Speaker 1: They don't know this is real life stuff. It will
- 1:05:50Speaker 1: run into Yeah, yeah.
- 1:05:51Speaker 4: Exactly, and uh so what they're gonna do. I'm gonna
- 1:05:54Speaker 4: set up each of these clips. I'm going to an
- 1:05:55Speaker 4: actual AI thing, and you guys got to kind of
- 1:05:57Speaker 4: guess will the AI be able to handle what I'm
- 1:06:00Speaker 4: throwing at it? In this first one, I am just
- 1:06:02Speaker 4: ordering at a Wendy's. All right, girl, let me make.
- 1:06:05Speaker 1: You a number free combo please, baby.
- 1:06:10Speaker 10: I was definitely gonna know, Yeah, I can get that.
- 1:06:13Speaker 4: Okay, I'm doing like my my creator three.
- 1:06:16Speaker 3: Yeah your Zataran's commercial, right.
- 1:06:18Speaker 4: Yeah, but the baby at the end might confuse it
- 1:06:22Speaker 4: because I'm trying to be nice to my AI because
- 1:06:23Speaker 4: I want to get neice to me. Initially, like the
- 1:06:26Speaker 4: order is fine, but then you follow it up with baby.
- 1:06:28Speaker 3: Yeah, but they're going to have to get used to
- 1:06:29Speaker 3: people with big personalities.
- 1:06:31Speaker 1: Yeah, would it be possible to hear that again?
- 1:06:34Speaker 7: You?
- 1:06:35Speaker 4: All right, girl, let me make you a numble free combo.
- 1:06:38Speaker 3: Please, baby, I have faith, I have faith in AI.
- 1:06:43Speaker 1: I say yes, I think because the order is so straightforward.
- 1:06:45Speaker 1: Is the number three?
- 1:06:47Speaker 4: Yeah, I'd say, yeah, all right, let's find out, please baby?
- 1:06:53Speaker 4: Would you like our simply orange juiced to drink? Okay? Okay?
- 1:06:58Speaker 8: Three?
- 1:06:58Speaker 4: Is this is obviously a breakfast item, so it's it's
- 1:07:00Speaker 4: in breakfast modes offering me orange juice. Well, now I
- 1:07:04Speaker 4: want to change my drink, like, so.
- 1:07:07Speaker 3: Would you like our simply orange juice to drink?
- 1:07:09Speaker 8: Hey?
- 1:07:10Speaker 4: Now let me get in that cold blood light ash,
- 1:07:14Speaker 4: poor girl. Language languages I'm throwing you know, like you said,
- 1:07:23Speaker 4: dressing trees being nice to it. There's no way on that.
- 1:07:30Speaker 8: I do.
- 1:07:32Speaker 3: My girl is a bridge too far for AI.
- 1:07:34Speaker 1: Who's a better listener a robot or a human ear?
- 1:07:36Speaker 1: Because I wouldn't if that was me, I'd be wow.
- 1:07:41Speaker 1: I'm gonna say nolo.
- 1:07:42Speaker 4: I also would never dare do this with a human because,
- 1:07:44Speaker 4: like man I said, I would be afraid they screw
- 1:07:46Speaker 4: with my stuff. Yeah, I'm saying no, I'm saying, let's
- 1:07:49Speaker 4: find out about that drink order? Poor girl?
- 1:07:53Speaker 3: What else can I get you?
- 1:07:55Speaker 4: Mm?
- 1:07:56Speaker 3: That'd be all thank you.
- 1:07:58Speaker 4: Thank you, please pull up to the next window.
- 1:08:00Speaker 1: Yeah, maybe you sweet appreciate it.
- 1:08:04Speaker 4: To water boys, it was correct though, I got a
- 1:08:11Speaker 4: number three breakfast item. I ordered Wendy's with a diet
- 1:08:14Speaker 4: coke inside of the orange juice. Yeah, look at that.
- 1:08:17Speaker 4: And well, this particular Wendy's, this was the one Sammy
- 1:08:19Speaker 4: actually and Cape cod where I really like what they're
- 1:08:22Speaker 4: doing because it's, like I said, it's it's got a
- 1:08:25Speaker 4: big led screen and it's it's typing out what you're
- 1:08:27Speaker 4: saying so that you know right, and it's you know
- 1:08:31Speaker 4: what it's hearing right. So that's the great feedback, like
- 1:08:33Speaker 4: you see it when you're gonna waiy moo, or if
- 1:08:34Speaker 4: you're in a tesla, like you see what the computers seeing.
- 1:08:37Speaker 4: That's a very comforting thing for us humans that the
- 1:08:40Speaker 4: robots are helping us with.
- 1:08:41Speaker 3: Now, am I the only one? And I don't know
- 1:08:43Speaker 3: why I didn't assume this because it's a fast food place?
- 1:08:45Speaker 3: But am I the only one that didn't know that
- 1:08:47Speaker 3: Wendy's had breakfast?
- 1:08:49Speaker 1: Yes?
- 1:08:49Speaker 3: Yeah, like I think of like McDonald's Burger King. I
- 1:08:52Speaker 3: don't think Wendy's breakfast welcome to talk about Hey.
- 1:08:57Speaker 4: Settle down. AI. Yeah, they've brought breakfast b No, God
- 1:09:01Speaker 4: forbid that they did it once. They could do it again, man, Yeah, yeah,
- 1:09:04Speaker 4: you know they've broughten it.
- 1:09:07Speaker 3: Brought.
- 1:09:07Speaker 4: So this is the next one. This this Taco Bell here,
- 1:09:10Speaker 4: This does not have that screen on it. So I'm
- 1:09:13Speaker 4: just dealing with the voice AI here, Hi, welcome to
- 1:09:16Speaker 4: Taco Bell.
- 1:09:16Speaker 3: What can I get you.
- 1:09:19Speaker 4: You? Hay girl, I'm in the mood for a delicious
- 1:09:21Speaker 4: teco about it's too general?
- 1:09:26Speaker 1: Okay, that's pretty straightforward. And then I think it'll follow
- 1:09:30Speaker 1: up with which kind of taco?
- 1:09:31Speaker 4: Soft kind of taco?
- 1:09:35Speaker 1: Okay?
- 1:09:35Speaker 4: Hey see what it says you, hay girl. I'm in
- 1:09:39Speaker 4: the mood for a delicious teco.
- 1:09:43Speaker 3: What can I get for you today?
- 1:09:47Speaker 4: Like I already told you yet delicious tolicious?
- 1:09:52Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 1:09:52Speaker 4: Okay, well I'll get more specific right here?
- 1:09:54Speaker 1: All right?
- 1:09:54Speaker 2: What can I get for you today?
- 1:09:56Speaker 4: You know what looks real good is the avocado range
- 1:09:59Speaker 4: Chrispy can burrito in soft taco.
- 1:10:04Speaker 10: You sound just like this guy on Instagram named Dakota.
- 1:10:07Speaker 10: Do you all know who I'm talking about?
- 1:10:09Speaker 3: I gotta find this will a I understand advocato?
- 1:10:13Speaker 10: Yeah, I don't think so I know, I.
- 1:10:15Speaker 4: Think it has it. It has all right, let's find out.
- 1:10:18Speaker 4: I say, yes, the avocado ranch, crispy chicken burrito, and
- 1:10:22Speaker 4: soft taco got it?
- 1:10:25Speaker 10: Is that all for you today? Yeah?
- 1:10:28Speaker 1: Nice?
- 1:10:28Speaker 4: Because I'm looking right at the menu. It's like their
- 1:10:30Speaker 4: featured thing or whatever.
- 1:10:31Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:10:32Speaker 4: Uh so it got that. And I said, okay, why Moore,
- 1:10:34Speaker 4: it's it's upselling me, which is a good AI good
- 1:10:36Speaker 4: robot will do. And that's why I had something else here?
- 1:10:39Speaker 10: Will there be anything else?
- 1:10:40Speaker 4: You're doing a great job.
- 1:10:41Speaker 3: By the way, honey, I just love your spotsy delicious attitee.
- 1:10:45Speaker 2: We don't have MIC's hot honey dipping sauce, iced tea
- 1:10:48Speaker 2: and iced tea at the moment?
- 1:10:49Speaker 10: Can I get you something else instead?
- 1:10:51Speaker 3: You added tea?
- 1:10:53Speaker 4: Yeah, I didn't say anything about mike hot honey. I
- 1:10:55Speaker 4: didn't say anything about and you said attitude like tea,
- 1:10:59Speaker 4: And I was trying to be nice to my my robot.
- 1:11:01Speaker 4: All right.
- 1:11:02Speaker 1: That sounds so good, by the way. The avocado branch
- 1:11:05Speaker 1: chicken stacker, all right?
- 1:11:08Speaker 4: So they throw that on here?
- 1:11:10Speaker 1: Any interested a hash brown on the side?
- 1:11:13Speaker 4: Ew?
- 1:11:13Speaker 2: You know what?
- 1:11:14Speaker 4: Instead of that, I'm gonna get a cheesy toasted breakfast burretto.
- 1:11:20Speaker 4: I think she's got I think she got that one
- 1:11:22Speaker 4: right because it's it's part of the menu and she's
- 1:11:24Speaker 4: she's upselling me to she so yeah, so I don't
- 1:11:28Speaker 4: want that, but I'll see if I can throw more
- 1:11:30Speaker 4: on there. I'm gonna get a cheesy toasted breakfast burretto.
- 1:11:34Speaker 3: Give me a moment.
- 1:11:36Speaker 5: Sorry, we don't have cheesey toasted breakfast burrito conbo right now?
- 1:11:39Speaker 10: Can I get you something else?
- 1:11:40Speaker 4: He staid, Oh my god, yes you can. You're so
- 1:11:43Speaker 4: helpful girl. You just want to Oh no, okay, yes,
- 1:11:51Speaker 4: thank you, Okay, go ahead for thank you. Oh that
- 1:11:56Speaker 4: is nice.
- 1:11:57Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:11:57Speaker 4: And by the way, they did have the cheesy toasted breakfast,
- 1:12:00Speaker 4: which is what the AI said. They didn't the guy bitch,
- 1:12:03Speaker 4: which is my question, understood, you didn't want to give
- 1:12:06Speaker 4: it to So my question for all you fast food employees,
- 1:12:08Speaker 4: are you listening in while I'm while people are doing
- 1:12:10Speaker 4: this to like to backstop that?
- 1:12:13Speaker 3: Yeah, definitely sounds like it.
- 1:12:15Speaker 10: Yeah, okay, So at Dakota right on Instagram if anyone
- 1:12:18Speaker 10: knows who that is, you guys, he sounds just like
- 1:12:20Speaker 10: him and he does food reviews in that exact voice.
- 1:12:23Speaker 4: I look him up.
- 1:12:24Speaker 10: I see the guy that's like, I'm gonna have that
- 1:12:26Speaker 10: for drank.
- 1:12:26Speaker 3: And know we see the one that says like, I'm
- 1:12:28Speaker 3: going to go to every Chinese before till I get
- 1:12:30Speaker 3: food poison.
- 1:12:30Speaker 4: No no, no, no, okay, Because I'm just modeling that
- 1:12:32Speaker 4: off of a former producer you have on this show.
- 1:12:34Speaker 4: He sounds like, yes, I.
- 1:12:37Speaker 3: Know Dakota write with his boyfriend.
- 1:12:38Speaker 10: Yeah, look him all.
- 1:12:40Speaker 4: Right, So I'll pull some of his audio. I guess
- 1:12:41Speaker 4: we gotta break here, saving right, and we'll we have
- 1:12:44Speaker 4: a few more tests.
- 1:12:45Speaker 1: Rap the AI, putting it to the tesk. Next on
- 1:12:48Speaker 1: the Woody Show will be right back.
- 1:12:54Speaker 4: Let's do it. Let's do it.
- 1:12:55Speaker 1: We're doing it. I can feel what isase you and
- 1:13:02Speaker 1: SeaBASS has been testing out fast food AI and it
- 1:13:05Speaker 1: got me thinking about restaurants. And there's this place called
- 1:13:08Speaker 1: Class Soire Steakhouse in Florida and they're now offering nude
- 1:13:13Speaker 1: dining on the first Monday of everyone. You can eat
- 1:13:16Speaker 1: there naked. It's not something you accidentally walk into. Selling
- 1:13:21Speaker 1: tickets specifically for the nude dining experience. So it's two
- 1:13:24Speaker 1: hundred and fifty bucks for men one hundred and fifty
- 1:13:27Speaker 1: bucks for women, three hundred dollars for couples. And it
- 1:13:30Speaker 1: seems like an intimate place, only about twenty to thirty
- 1:13:32Speaker 1: seats or so. And they also have the light very dim,
- 1:13:36Speaker 1: so it's not like people are gawking at you. So
- 1:13:38Speaker 1: if you ever want to dine in public naked class
- 1:13:42Speaker 1: Soiree Steakhouse in Florida, they're offering nude dining.
- 1:13:45Speaker 3: Okay, Well, if that doesn't work for you, there's a
- 1:13:48Speaker 3: nude Doritos that I stumbled upon at the grocery store
- 1:13:51Speaker 3: that looks absolutely disgusting, and I want to know if
- 1:13:56Speaker 3: I misjudge these. These are called Dorito's Late Night Hot
- 1:14:00Speaker 3: Honey Pizza. I do not understand the hot honey thing.
- 1:14:03Speaker 3: I don't understand the honey on pizza thing, so I
- 1:14:05Speaker 3: don't know why Dourrito's bothered, but I figured we'd all
- 1:14:07Speaker 3: take a few and give them a try. This is
- 1:14:09Speaker 3: the late night Hot Honey's Hot Honey Pizza.
- 1:14:12Speaker 4: It's gotta be late night too, late night.
- 1:14:15Speaker 3: They smell.
- 1:14:17Speaker 4: Munchies or something I think smoky familiar about the taco
- 1:14:21Speaker 4: bell and Jack in the Box really hit on this
- 1:14:23Speaker 4: where it's they understand if you if you call something
- 1:14:25Speaker 4: late night, people just cram whatever garbage you give them.
- 1:14:30Speaker 2: I love it.
- 1:14:31Speaker 4: You do spicy hit right in the back of Oh yeah,
- 1:14:35Speaker 4: you know it smells like you used to make checks
- 1:14:37Speaker 4: mix at home with their home smells exactly like that.
- 1:14:40Speaker 3: It's like pizza a regano ish but sweet.
- 1:14:44Speaker 1: I'm not getting honey. I'm not getting pizza. I'm getting
- 1:14:47Speaker 1: I'm getting late night.
- 1:14:50Speaker 3: I'm getting nothing else was open better than.
- 1:14:54Speaker 1: Ranch, that's for sure.
- 1:14:54Speaker 10: I don't hate it. Yeah, it's good.
- 1:14:55Speaker 4: I'm better than I expected. It's just a though.
- 1:14:58Speaker 1: Yeah, and like a.
- 1:14:59Speaker 4: Little bit heat the mild just touch your heat exactly.
- 1:15:03Speaker 3: It's sweet o sweets. It's worth I give it three.
- 1:15:10Speaker 1: I'll give it a six, Yeah, six six.
- 1:15:12Speaker 4: I mean as a chip, it's a six. But as
- 1:15:14Speaker 4: what it advertised to. Oh yeah, true, I.
- 1:15:17Speaker 1: Don't think it's bad. What's it called again?
- 1:15:19Speaker 3: It's the late night hot Honey pizza dorito. If you're
- 1:15:23Speaker 3: just really curious, go for it.
- 1:15:24Speaker 1: It's de We are back here at the Woody Show
- 1:15:31Speaker 1: as Sea Bass tests out fast food AI systems, and.
- 1:15:35Speaker 4: We didn't take a quick detwo or over to uh
- 1:15:37Speaker 4: Dakota Johnson.
- 1:15:38Speaker 1: Oh yeah, that's right.
- 1:15:39Speaker 4: Ye who apparently talks like this.
- 1:15:40Speaker 3: Oh, very much like that. So Johnson, Dakota right.
- 1:15:44Speaker 4: Yeah, to go to right. Oh excuse me. For some reason, Johnson,
- 1:15:48Speaker 4: I was like, is that the son the daughter of uh?
- 1:15:50Speaker 1: What's his face?
- 1:15:51Speaker 4: Dacota Wright w R I g H t uh. So
- 1:15:55Speaker 4: Dakota Wright is well, here he is doing a food review.
- 1:15:58Speaker 4: If he got some Culvers, which is a hamburger place
- 1:16:00Speaker 4: if you're not from that part of the country. So
- 1:16:02Speaker 4: here he is unboxing his culvers.
- 1:16:04Speaker 2: Got Culver, Yeah, they have my favorite onion ring, the chili.
- 1:16:09Speaker 2: I got just the single butterburger because you know, I
- 1:16:12Speaker 2: gotta keep it light. I got bacon, no lettuce because
- 1:16:15Speaker 2: I already had that poopy things.
- 1:16:18Speaker 1: I don't like Culver's cheethe curds.
- 1:16:19Speaker 9: I know.
- 1:16:20Speaker 2: It's like a hoteke and then onion rings and then
- 1:16:24Speaker 2: two things of Buffalo songs and to drink a diet coke.
- 1:16:32Speaker 10: It's just like your characters.
- 1:16:34Speaker 3: All sizes are always done in things. And I got
- 1:16:36Speaker 3: two things to drink and for to drink.
- 1:16:39Speaker 4: So my question for Greg is what is there a
- 1:16:42Speaker 4: class of gay? Because I'm looking at his looking at
- 1:16:44Speaker 4: his Instagram. But all he does is like shop and
- 1:16:47Speaker 4: try on clothes and go on cruises and go on
- 1:16:50Speaker 4: cruises and hang out by the pool. Like how do
- 1:16:52Speaker 4: these gays make that money?
- 1:16:53Speaker 1: That's what I want to know. I know so many
- 1:16:57Speaker 1: gay couples that just seem to have bottomless money.
- 1:17:00Speaker 4: He's just trying on bags, has.
- 1:17:01Speaker 10: A pink jeep, or like, yeah, I think we have vacation.
- 1:17:06Speaker 3: Yeah, I think like a lot of kept people, he
- 1:17:08Speaker 3: has a less attractive probably more financially stable.
- 1:17:11Speaker 4: Well, there is a less family. There's a less attractive
- 1:17:14Speaker 4: man in a lot of these videos. Man now his man.
- 1:17:17Speaker 4: They're both fit because they're gay, but he's definitely he's
- 1:17:20Speaker 4: not the hot one. Dacodea has got his eyebrows done
- 1:17:22Speaker 4: and he's got gay face going and like Bronzer.
- 1:17:25Speaker 1: And oh so his husband is the one with that
- 1:17:27Speaker 1: beard's kind of odd looking. He's in good shape, a
- 1:17:33Speaker 1: little odd looking.
- 1:17:34Speaker 4: Gays are kind of like dance music. There's so many
- 1:17:37Speaker 4: genres within the genre, you know, so there's different. But
- 1:17:42Speaker 4: my question is with Greig, is this is he a
- 1:17:44Speaker 4: secret millionaire somehow? Yeah?
- 1:17:47Speaker 1: You know, I wish I had that answer.
- 1:17:48Speaker 4: I guess it's a life of leisure.
- 1:17:50Speaker 1: Yeah, I guess it's just the dank lifestyle. Yeah, more
- 1:17:53Speaker 1: money to spend.
- 1:17:54Speaker 4: He does some stuff for Bravo, much like Menace does.
- 1:17:56Speaker 4: He shows up here he is describing his Bravo Khan outfit.
- 1:18:00Speaker 2: Okay, so I'm in New York to celebrate twenty years
- 1:18:03Speaker 2: of the Real House Lives with Bravo, getting ready to
- 1:18:05Speaker 2: go to the Lobster Club.
- 1:18:06Speaker 1: I'm with my friend McKenzie.
- 1:18:08Speaker 7: But we miss you Jackson.
- 1:18:09Speaker 1: Yeah, we miss you Jackson. So here's a little fit check.
- 1:18:12Speaker 2: So the shirt is.
- 1:18:13Speaker 1: From a paper Kid.
- 1:18:15Speaker 2: I love all the different sequins on it, and then
- 1:18:18Speaker 2: my jeans are from Page I think the shoes are Coach.
- 1:18:23Speaker 1: The bag is Tory Birch. I want to sens with
- 1:18:25Speaker 1: this bag.
- 1:18:26Speaker 4: I've been carrying it everywhere lately.
- 1:18:28Speaker 2: And the jewelry is my wedding band Ermez Click Clad
- 1:18:32Speaker 2: brown Erma's Double.
- 1:18:33Speaker 4: Tour And yeah, okay.
- 1:18:36Speaker 1: My other theory is that maybe a lot of this is,
- 1:18:40Speaker 1: for lack of a better term, collapse with certain products,
- 1:18:44Speaker 1: and then you put yourself in a friend group that
- 1:18:46Speaker 1: has access to trips or cruises.
- 1:18:50Speaker 3: I think you're right about that. But he's also a
- 1:18:51Speaker 3: real estate agent. Oh okay, so he's selling those houses and.
- 1:18:55Speaker 10: He's in the South.
- 1:18:56Speaker 3: I know, are you sure?
- 1:18:57Speaker 10: Hairline or something?
- 1:18:58Speaker 4: So, how well that's his His bio is always sassy,
- 1:19:03Speaker 4: rarely classy, Southern dandy inquarries Amanda FP talent. I gotta
- 1:19:10Speaker 4: dress better for Bravo con Yeah.
- 1:19:13Speaker 3: Step up your Tory Birch game.
- 1:19:14Speaker 4: All right, back to the AI ordering. So this one
- 1:19:18Speaker 4: is again no screen. This is a Wiener Schnitzel, which
- 1:19:21Speaker 4: is not nationwide, so they are as you might imagine
- 1:19:23Speaker 4: a hot dog place if you don't. But they have
- 1:19:25Speaker 4: the AI ordering. So again we're stress testing it, trying
- 1:19:28Speaker 4: to find out if it can handle all the different
- 1:19:31Speaker 4: varieties people who might have an accident, light to code,
- 1:19:33Speaker 4: to wright or like this gentleman.
- 1:19:35Speaker 1: Right, different genres of people.
- 1:19:37Speaker 4: Genre, here's a different genre of person right here. Hi,
- 1:19:40Speaker 4: welcome to Wiener Schnitzel.
- 1:19:41Speaker 2: Please order when ready.
- 1:19:43Speaker 4: Hi, I'm Greg Gory and I'm looking for a delightful
- 1:19:46Speaker 4: lunch and treat.
- 1:19:49Speaker 8: Hi.
- 1:19:49Speaker 1: There, what can I get for you today? Boy? I'm
- 1:19:52Speaker 1: still looking at your menu.
- 1:19:53Speaker 4: It all looks fantastical.
- 1:19:57Speaker 1: Order when ready.
- 1:19:59Speaker 4: I tell you I love ice cream.
- 1:20:01Speaker 1: It is my absolute favorite.
- 1:20:04Speaker 4: How many calories are in the Oreo shake?
- 1:20:09Speaker 3: Wow?
- 1:20:10Speaker 10: Give you a human guys get kind of pissy.
- 1:20:13Speaker 4: Yeah, I don't like this guy. I like the Wendy's Girl.
- 1:20:15Speaker 1: Yeah, I like it.
- 1:20:17Speaker 3: You want a delightful luncheon.
- 1:20:21Speaker 4: Order, Greg? I mean you love luncheon? I do.
- 1:20:23Speaker 1: That is such a throwback word lunch ice cream. But
- 1:20:26Speaker 1: what are you doing?
- 1:20:27Speaker 5: Mom?
- 1:20:27Speaker 1: Oh, I'm going to a luncheon.
- 1:20:28Speaker 3: Moms love going to luncheon.
- 1:20:30Speaker 4: Yes, so yeah, yeah, he's not gonna it's not gonna
- 1:20:33Speaker 4: know what's going on here.
- 1:20:33Speaker 1: It's not going to give you the calorie cone. I
- 1:20:35Speaker 1: don't know.
- 1:20:36Speaker 10: I think it will.
- 1:20:37Speaker 5: It seems very matter of fact.
- 1:20:38Speaker 4: Well it's printed on a lot of menus these days, right,
- 1:20:41Speaker 4: But I don't we you're not getting it. I'm saying, no, no,
- 1:20:44Speaker 4: all right, let's find out how many calories are in
- 1:20:47Speaker 4: the Oreo shake. To best assist you, I'm bringing in
- 1:20:51Speaker 4: someone from the team.
- 1:20:54Speaker 1: Can I get the fruit loop, DiPT cone, anything else?
- 1:21:00Speaker 4: That'll be all?
- 1:21:00Speaker 1: Thank you?
- 1:21:03Speaker 2: Thank you?
- 1:21:04Speaker 1: Greg? Out I can't.
- 1:21:09Speaker 3: Oh, yeah, the bit has to stay.
- 1:21:12Speaker 4: But but yeah, I think I think we're almost there.
- 1:21:14Speaker 4: It's a line with a lot of stuff. AI like
- 1:21:15Speaker 4: we're getting there, we're starting. I do love it was
- 1:21:19Speaker 4: a right, I do. I appreciate the positive vibes.
- 1:21:24Speaker 1: Yeah, Menace would prefer you to be rude and sullen.
- 1:21:27Speaker 4: No, I just don't want you to be overly over
- 1:21:30Speaker 4: the top friendly. Hi, welcome to Chick fil a.
- 1:21:34Speaker 1: Something today is awesome, sounds like a better world.
- 1:21:39Speaker 4: It's too extra, greg, No, there's no it's the world
- 1:21:43Speaker 4: to code to Wright would have us all living.
- 1:21:45Speaker 1: Exactly, always sassy, never classic. Yeah.
- 1:21:50Speaker 4: Well so yeah, that's a I think we're like I said,
- 1:21:52Speaker 4: we're there sort of yeah, like ninety there. Now it's
- 1:21:56Speaker 4: just gonna be robots making the food now, so it'll
- 1:21:59Speaker 4: be a hundred Well that's the next step is when
- 1:22:02Speaker 4: Elon starts rolling out these optimists or whatever he's calling them,
- 1:22:05Speaker 4: and they just start taking over all those jobs. It'll
- 1:22:07Speaker 4: be pleasant, cute, yeah, efficient.
- 1:22:10Speaker 10: Do you trust more with your food a human or
- 1:22:12Speaker 10: a robot robot roblot?
- 1:22:14Speaker 3: Because what's the So they're not going to do anything
- 1:22:16Speaker 3: out of spite?
- 1:22:17Speaker 8: Right?
- 1:22:17Speaker 1: How many? But can they finesse your order at all?
- 1:22:21Speaker 10: Like, no pickles, you grab the wrong I don't know meat,
- 1:22:25Speaker 10: I don't.
- 1:22:25Speaker 1: Think I don't think it would make a mistake and
- 1:22:27Speaker 1: it would be very consistent, So I think I would
- 1:22:30Speaker 1: trust the robot more maybe.
- 1:22:32Speaker 4: And how many videos do we see to this day
- 1:22:34Speaker 4: of people we are dancing in the lettuce and scratching.
- 1:22:38Speaker 4: One guy was like scratching his inside his pants and
- 1:22:41Speaker 4: pulling it out and grabbing fries.
- 1:22:42Speaker 7: Yeah, taking a bath inside. Yeah, we've done this to
- 1:22:47Speaker 7: ourselves human beings.
- 1:22:48Speaker 1: Yeah, well that was fun. Thank you.
- 1:22:50Speaker 4: I could barely remember to open my mouth when I'm eating.
- 1:22:53Speaker 1: Like you think I'm gonna remember to bring a canvas bags.
- 1:22:56Speaker 3: I don't think you're going to remember something.
- 1:23:00Speaker 1: Back here on the Woodies Show on a Wednesday morning,
- 1:23:02Speaker 1: and Sea Bass, you had posed the question can the
- 1:23:06Speaker 1: employees of fast food places hear what you're saying to
- 1:23:09Speaker 1: the AI all right?
- 1:23:09Speaker 4: Because I had asked that taco bill AI for a
- 1:23:12Speaker 4: breakfast item that should have been right there, and then
- 1:23:14Speaker 4: she said no, they don't. But the guy was like, oh, hey,
- 1:23:17Speaker 4: you want to right right?
- 1:23:20Speaker 9: Well?
- 1:23:20Speaker 1: According to this text from the six six one, they
- 1:23:23Speaker 1: say good morning team, love you all, You're all amazing
- 1:23:26Speaker 1: es to answer Seabass's question about if the employees can
- 1:23:30Speaker 1: hear what is being said when ordering through AI, they
- 1:23:33Speaker 1: absolutely can, and everybody else inside can. My wife and
- 1:23:37Speaker 1: I were inside Carl's Junior ordering and could clearly hear
- 1:23:40Speaker 1: the person in the drive through ordering through the AI system.
- 1:23:43Speaker 1: So I'm sure everybody heard every time you were doing it,
- 1:23:46Speaker 1: and they were probably quite amused. That was question.
- 1:23:49Speaker 4: My secondary backup question is that is did any of
- 1:23:51Speaker 4: my food get spit in? Because yeah, you know, I
- 1:23:54Speaker 4: was nice, obviously, But we've talked about this before with
- 1:23:58Speaker 4: different silly things that I've done. Is that it should
- 1:24:01Speaker 4: be the delight. It should be the highlight of the
- 1:24:03Speaker 4: employee's day, Like it shouldn't be annoying them. Like when
- 1:24:06Speaker 4: I'm going to Taco Bell and I'm getting the you know,
- 1:24:09Speaker 4: dressed up like a dog trying to get a free
- 1:24:10Speaker 4: burrita taco.
- 1:24:11Speaker 1: Yeah, that's their entertainment for that.
- 1:24:13Speaker 4: But every once in a while we'll get one that's like, hey, dude,
- 1:24:16Speaker 4: I know you were in here already, get out, Yeah,
- 1:24:18Speaker 4: taking it all serious?
- 1:24:20Speaker 1: Yeah, because it's your restaurant, right right.
- 1:24:23Speaker 4: So yeah, and that's not the an impression I got
- 1:24:25Speaker 4: when I because I did eat everything I ordered.
- 1:24:28Speaker 1: Yeah, right, Well, this article just popped up a couple
- 1:24:31Speaker 1: of things we've been talking about this morning, AI and
- 1:24:33Speaker 1: location sharing, and it says, do you ever look back
- 1:24:36Speaker 1: on things from just a decade ago and think, wow,
- 1:24:38Speaker 1: that sounds seems like a completely different world. So these
- 1:24:41Speaker 1: are things people are talking about online that became more
- 1:24:45Speaker 1: socially acceptable in just the past ten years. And the
- 1:24:48Speaker 1: first one was location sharing.
- 1:24:50Speaker 3: Yeah, people would just be doing it.
- 1:24:52Speaker 1: Says it used to feel creepy, but now many people
- 1:24:54Speaker 1: have at least one app that'll show people right where
- 1:24:56Speaker 1: they are. Yeah, so that's become socially accepted.
- 1:25:00Speaker 4: You know, I had a girl, not a girlfriend, but
- 1:25:03Speaker 4: a girl whom I was dating. It made me get
- 1:25:04Speaker 4: Snapchat so she could do that, and I quickly realized
- 1:25:07Speaker 4: what that was for. Yeah.
- 1:25:09Speaker 1: The other one was AI. Also used to feel scary,
- 1:25:11Speaker 1: but now most people have entire conversations with AI, even
- 1:25:14Speaker 1: if it's during a Google.
- 1:25:16Speaker 3: Also, ten years ago, what we really knew about AI
- 1:25:18Speaker 3: was like bad cartoons and like sci fi.
- 1:25:21Speaker 1: Yeah yeah, yeah, constantly canceling plans. There used to be
- 1:25:25Speaker 1: a stigma around flaking out on people, but now they
- 1:25:28Speaker 1: say that bailing on plans is considered self care.
- 1:25:31Speaker 3: I'm so glad you guys are all here to join me. Now,
- 1:25:34Speaker 3: I've been this way my entire life. And finally, like
- 1:25:36Speaker 3: when COVID happened and nobody wanted to leave their house,
- 1:25:38Speaker 3: I was like, now do you see now, do you
- 1:25:40Speaker 3: see how great this is?
- 1:25:41Speaker 4: No, that sucked. Oh it was awesome.
- 1:25:44Speaker 1: It got old, Yes, really, you didn't make it got old,
- 1:25:48Speaker 1: but I kind of miss it. I was awesome in
- 1:25:51Speaker 1: a way, Oh I do.
- 1:25:52Speaker 4: I thought that was a grain the horrors of COVID.
- 1:25:56Speaker 5: I was traumatized for not being able to go anywhere
- 1:25:59Speaker 5: or do anything.
- 1:25:59Speaker 4: It was the absolute please explain me again, a word
- 1:26:02Speaker 4: that we've decided to use all the time.
- 1:26:03Speaker 6: Now, you're traumatized, well from being super I felt super isolated.
- 1:26:07Speaker 5: I lived alone. I couldn't do anything. I was not
- 1:26:10Speaker 5: used to being alone that much or isolated that much.
- 1:26:13Speaker 6: And really, I do think it causes you to start
- 1:26:16Speaker 6: to go crazy because you're just alone with your own
- 1:26:19Speaker 6: thoughts and the news was not a great time, and
- 1:26:22Speaker 6: just there was nothing happening.
- 1:26:23Speaker 5: It was a strange, strange time.
- 1:26:26Speaker 1: But you know where else you were alone, driving on
- 1:26:28Speaker 1: the one on one great uh, sharing photos of your
- 1:26:33Speaker 1: kids online. They say that is used to be socially unacceptable.
- 1:26:37Speaker 1: Now it's socially acceptable people showing their kids.
- 1:26:40Speaker 4: Online the other way around, Like I know more people
- 1:26:43Speaker 4: and just because of the industry we work in that
- 1:26:45Speaker 4: that don't never share their kid ever.
- 1:26:46Speaker 3: I don't want my kid ended up on the dark web,
- 1:26:48Speaker 3: thank you.
- 1:26:49Speaker 1: Yeah, bringing our actually being on your phone while socializing,
- 1:26:54Speaker 1: that should be socially unacceptable. But they say it's now
- 1:26:57Speaker 1: completely normal for somebody to be on their phone while
- 1:27:00Speaker 1: having a conversation with someone. Rude.
- 1:27:03Speaker 4: If you saw a toy story five, it's not wrong.
- 1:27:05Speaker 4: It's about how when people get when especially teenagers get together,
- 1:27:09Speaker 4: they get together to look at their phones together.
- 1:27:11Speaker 3: Yeah, and I get that, like people lay in bed
- 1:27:13Speaker 3: next to each other on their phones. But I absolutely
- 1:27:15Speaker 3: hate uh QR code menus at restaurants because I don't
- 1:27:20Speaker 3: want it to look like I'm ignoring the person I'm
- 1:27:21Speaker 3: you know, I want them to know I'm looking at
- 1:27:23Speaker 3: a menu. I'm not just messing around on my phone.
- 1:27:25Speaker 1: Right, So I think that's so rude. And then the
- 1:27:27Speaker 1: other one is open guilt free cheating, not cheating on
- 1:27:31Speaker 1: a partner, but cheating academically. There have always been cheating
- 1:27:35Speaker 1: on tests and assignments. But now using AI and online resources,
- 1:27:39Speaker 1: they say, doesn't seem bad to people. It's just another
- 1:27:41Speaker 1: faster way of getting it done and over with.
- 1:27:43Speaker 3: We're getting o their dumbest surgeons in the world. And
- 1:27:46Speaker 3: that's the thing. Remember there was a viral thing we
- 1:27:48Speaker 3: have robots well people walking off stage from their graduation
- 1:27:51Speaker 3: and then showing all the times they cheated on chat
- 1:27:54Speaker 3: GBT like, oh that's great.
- 1:27:56Speaker 4: This is also But the other day, as we're saying
- 1:27:58Speaker 4: this other side of this coin is that like a
- 1:27:59Speaker 4: lot of of college age people are now taking sixth
- 1:28:02Speaker 4: grade math. Yeah, because they did. They they've they've as
- 1:28:05Speaker 4: Menisa said, for years, I got computer, I got computed.
- 1:28:08Speaker 4: A problem is while you have computer, your brain is
- 1:28:12Speaker 4: still growing and you're not forming. The sign of the
- 1:28:14Speaker 4: synapse is that that know how to put these things together.
- 1:28:17Speaker 4: And so I'll be doing it with other stuff though.
- 1:28:19Speaker 4: But then you grow up to be a mush brain
- 1:28:21Speaker 4: and when you don't have access to computer all of
- 1:28:23Speaker 4: a sudden, then you're screwed.
- 1:28:24Speaker 1: Don't you care about your synapses? Menace sin what exactly? Uh?
- 1:28:29Speaker 1: This one Steve Bats will not find to be accurate.
- 1:28:32Speaker 1: Something that is more socially acceptable now profanity, Oh, I
- 1:28:36Speaker 1: mean I find it to be everywhere. I find it
- 1:28:39Speaker 1: to be completely socially. I agree with the statement it's
- 1:28:41Speaker 1: clearly happening. I find it to be the most boring
- 1:28:44Speaker 1: and base and stupid, Like you think you're being interesting
- 1:28:48Speaker 1: or clever, and you just look like an idiot.
- 1:28:50Speaker 4: Yeah. A lot of unfunded people like to use it
- 1:28:53Speaker 4: to get a reaction, right exactly. And now it's coming
- 1:28:55Speaker 4: out where like, it's happening in places you like Congress
- 1:28:58Speaker 4: where you and.
- 1:28:59Speaker 1: Yeah, just the other day, so whatever, who the F
- 1:29:03Speaker 1: do you think you are? And they're doing they're watching
- 1:29:05Speaker 1: real life.
- 1:29:06Speaker 4: They're doing it intentionally because they think, oh, I'm gonna
- 1:29:08Speaker 4: look at me edgy, edgy, just make you look like
- 1:29:12Speaker 4: an idiot.
- 1:29:12Speaker 1: Super unpopular opinion. But Kevin Hart does it too much
- 1:29:16Speaker 1: his stand up and his roast and whatnot, Like I, oh, yeah,
- 1:29:19Speaker 1: dare you to go four words without the F word?
- 1:29:23Speaker 3: Is that an unpopular opinion?
- 1:29:24Speaker 4: I think that's probably accurate, Okay, not alone, I think, yeah,
- 1:29:28Speaker 4: I agree with it. It's it's it's it's when you
- 1:29:30Speaker 4: when you when you know what you're saying is an
- 1:29:32Speaker 4: interesting staying.
- 1:29:33Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, and then last on the list Sammy bringing
- 1:29:38Speaker 1: a water bottle everywhere.
- 1:29:40Speaker 3: Somebody cold dead hands.
- 1:29:42Speaker 1: Somebody wrote if we have guests over for a nice dinner,
- 1:29:45Speaker 1: I will ask them what I can get them to drink,
- 1:29:47Speaker 1: and they just plunk down their huge water bottle on
- 1:29:50Speaker 1: the kitchen table.
- 1:29:51Speaker 5: Yeah, because you know what, it's.
- 1:29:52Speaker 6: Too risky to go to someone's house and not bring
- 1:29:55Speaker 6: water because they might not really have that much water.
- 1:29:57Speaker 5: Maybe don't drinking that much.
- 1:29:58Speaker 10: Maybe they offer you may faws it's broken.
- 1:30:01Speaker 5: No, they're like, yeah, maybe they offer you tap water.
- 1:30:04Speaker 10: No, I got my own.
- 1:30:05Speaker 3: Maybe they're European and they won't give you ice.
- 1:30:07Speaker 4: Maybe ever deal with this before it's five years ago.
- 1:30:11Speaker 1: I got invited to a friend's house for well, we
- 1:30:14Speaker 1: were freaking on the way over there, like, what if
- 1:30:16Speaker 1: they don't have enough?
- 1:30:18Speaker 5: I do that because I have in my life who
- 1:30:20Speaker 5: frequently don't have enough water.
- 1:30:22Speaker 4: But you're old enough to remember when you were a
- 1:30:23Speaker 4: little kid, you went places without a giant Stanley mug.
- 1:30:27Speaker 5: No, but I always had plastic water bottles.
- 1:30:29Speaker 4: Okay, well read bad parents, then no, because especially.
- 1:30:32Speaker 5: When you had like sports and other stuff too, I did.
- 1:30:34Speaker 5: I always had water with me.
- 1:30:36Speaker 4: I don't know's I went to. I we had two
- 1:30:38Speaker 4: a day. Everybody is my age. We had two a
- 1:30:39Speaker 4: day practices in the heat for football. Nobody, nobody showed
- 1:30:43Speaker 4: up with a damn thing in their hands.
- 1:30:47Speaker 3: We had the giant water bottles.
- 1:30:50Speaker 4: Good God, because you were built like your your veal,
- 1:30:52Speaker 4: your human veal.
- 1:30:54Speaker 1: The only time that we had water at soccer was
- 1:30:56Speaker 1: during a game practice. Nothing game. They had a big
- 1:31:00Speaker 1: container that our own water bottles.
- 1:31:04Speaker 4: Oh you didn't just have the big jug with the
- 1:31:05Speaker 4: little cone, paper note, with the hose with theigot.
- 1:31:10Speaker 5: You don't have a hose at a soccer game.
- 1:31:12Speaker 1: We had.
- 1:31:14Speaker 4: We had a football practice which was on the soccer phone.
- 1:31:15Speaker 5: You had more resources than we didn't.
- 1:31:19Speaker 1: Resources. Oh, we got more Woody Show coming up. Show.
- 1:31:29Speaker 4: I got to turn my mic on.
- 1:31:31Speaker 7: I want to put a message out there for everybody
- 1:31:34Speaker 7: that listens to the Woody Show podcast. It might happen again,
- 1:31:37Speaker 7: and it was a thing for quite a while, and
- 1:31:40Speaker 7: if it becomes a thing again, I'm.
- 1:31:42Speaker 4: Just gonna let it go.
- 1:31:43Speaker 7: But if you listen to the Woody Show podcast on Spotify,
- 1:31:47Speaker 7: I'm getting notifications again that there's something within our podcast
- 1:31:52Speaker 7: that is a copyrint that they feel that is copyrnting
- 1:31:56Speaker 7: even though it's on like all these other platforms and
- 1:31:58Speaker 7: no issues, they have some issue and if I get
- 1:32:01Speaker 7: enough warnings, it's not going to be there anymore. I
- 1:32:04Speaker 7: don't care about us being on Spotify. There's a small
- 1:32:08Speaker 7: group of you that do listen to us on Spotify,
- 1:32:10Speaker 7: and guess what, There's other options and it's called the
- 1:32:14Speaker 7: iHeartRadio app, which you could just search the Woody Show
- 1:32:17Speaker 7: podcast and put us in your presets and I'll be
- 1:32:20Speaker 7: right there on the app for you if you're an
- 1:32:22Speaker 7: Android user. Also, if you have an iPhone, just use
- 1:32:26Speaker 7: the Apple Podcast app. I can't go through this again Spotify,
- 1:32:31Speaker 7: like it took me like almost two months to get
- 1:32:34Speaker 7: it back on, and I don't know if I can.
- 1:32:37Speaker 4: Do it again.
- 1:32:38Speaker 3: The crazy thing is too it's like the irs like you, Oh,
- 1:32:40Speaker 3: but we're not going to tell you what you owe.
- 1:32:42Speaker 7: Yeah, just tell me what the issue is and then
- 1:32:45Speaker 7: maybe I can figure it out. But I mean, there's
- 1:32:47Speaker 7: no customer service anything. I honestly, I just don't give
- 1:32:50Speaker 7: a damn. So again the iHeartRadio app. Just search the
- 1:32:54Speaker 7: Woody Show and then put us in your pre.
- 1:32:56Speaker 1: The iHeartRadio app. That's that's a very easy solution, but
- 1:33:00Speaker 1: it sounds so expensive.
- 1:33:02Speaker 4: Oh wait, it's free. Wait guys, oh wait free.
- 1:33:05Speaker 7: So if you have an Android iHeartRadio app, also you
- 1:33:10Speaker 7: can use that on your iPhone, but the iPhone has
- 1:33:12Speaker 7: its own app as well.
- 1:33:13Speaker 1: Okay, I'm glad you addressed it because we've got a
- 1:33:15Speaker 1: few texts about that today.
- 1:33:16Speaker 4: Also, please rate and review our podcast.
- 1:33:18Speaker 3: It makes two different yes, all right, you.
- 1:33:21Speaker 1: Know what we are basically martyrs here. It just dawned
- 1:33:24Speaker 1: on me. We try food and let you know if
- 1:33:26Speaker 1: it's good before you should go out and buy it.
- 1:33:28Speaker 1: And we also try products to let you know if
- 1:33:31Speaker 1: they're worth if they're worth an ish. No, you don't
- 1:33:33Speaker 1: have to, Yeah, you won't have to when we hear
- 1:33:35Speaker 1: about what Gina got for us. All right, welcome back
- 1:33:42Speaker 1: to the Woody Show. It is Wednesday morning, Woody. We'll
- 1:33:45Speaker 1: be back on Monday. In the meantime, from time to
- 1:33:48Speaker 1: time we ask the question is it worth an ish?
- 1:33:52Speaker 1: And we have certain products that we've discovered or bought
- 1:33:54Speaker 1: or wanted for a long time and then they either
- 1:33:57Speaker 1: rule or they suck. I just want to start by
- 1:34:00Speaker 1: re shouting out the Giraffe Tools Metal garden hose changer.
- 1:34:06Speaker 1: It's on Amazon. Giraffe Tools is the brand. It's a
- 1:34:10Speaker 1: seventy five foot metal, stainless steel water hose. It doesn't kink,
- 1:34:16Speaker 1: it doesn't spurt. It is so good. It rules.
- 1:34:19Speaker 4: Okay, it works well for you as well if checking
- 1:34:22Speaker 4: a long piece of condu it essentially yeah, and it
- 1:34:24Speaker 4: can it be wrapped.
- 1:34:25Speaker 1: Oh absolutely. And it's super easy because unlike a rubber
- 1:34:28Speaker 1: hose that is kind of after time, it kind of
- 1:34:30Speaker 1: twists and instance this, you basically hold it and just
- 1:34:33Speaker 1: kind of spin your hand and just it's so awesome. Okay,
- 1:34:38Speaker 1: any need for.
- 1:34:38Speaker 3: A well, I have one too that has really not
- 1:34:44Speaker 3: only has it changed someone in my family's life, but
- 1:34:47Speaker 3: I've bought two more so we all have one. I
- 1:34:50Speaker 3: was going to feature this really cool tinted eye concealer,
- 1:34:53Speaker 3: but I figured, you know, guys wouldn't want to care
- 1:34:56Speaker 3: about that, or it would.
- 1:34:57Speaker 10: Least wouldn't admit to buy.
- 1:34:58Speaker 4: What doesn't I concealer do.
- 1:35:00Speaker 3: It's very hydrating, and it's like very uh it's like
- 1:35:04Speaker 3: a it's like a moisturizer, but it's tinted, so you
- 1:35:06Speaker 3: get a little tint anyway, nobody cares about that. I
- 1:35:08Speaker 3: had the dark circles, yeah, and I have plenty.
- 1:35:10Speaker 1: Of those, But this is oh is it makeup? Basically?
- 1:35:13Speaker 3: I mean Kanye has a little tint in it. Does
- 1:35:15Speaker 3: that bother you?
- 1:35:16Speaker 9: No?
- 1:35:16Speaker 3: That doesn't bother some guys. But this we're not gonna
- 1:35:19Speaker 3: worry about that today. What we are going to worry
- 1:35:21Speaker 3: about is anyone who travels a lot, likes to travel light,
- 1:35:25Speaker 3: travels on a budget. When when our kid went to
- 1:35:29Speaker 3: scout camp for a week over the summer, he needed
- 1:35:33Speaker 3: a backpack, and I was like, am I gonna get
- 1:35:35Speaker 3: all this crap on an actual backpack? So I looked
- 1:35:37Speaker 3: for one of those, you know, like suitcase backpacks. Oh
- 1:35:40Speaker 3: my god, I am obsessed with this thing.
- 1:35:44Speaker 1: It sounds like something Menace would like. This travels with
- 1:35:46Speaker 1: nothing but a backpack.
- 1:35:48Speaker 3: And and I'm and the price, You're not even gonna believe.
- 1:35:51Speaker 3: This is the greatest thing ever. I know that there
- 1:35:54Speaker 3: are other backpacks that have this like side zip, you know,
- 1:35:57Speaker 3: like a suitcase, but this one is a off pack.
- 1:36:01Speaker 3: It's huge, it's it condensed as well. It's forty leaders,
- 1:36:06Speaker 3: which is the standard size for it holds forty leaders
- 1:36:09Speaker 3: which is the standard size of a regular carry on suitcase,
- 1:36:12Speaker 3: and it expands to forty five leaders it's so durable.
- 1:36:17Speaker 3: This kid I thought he was just gonna wreck this
- 1:36:20Speaker 3: thing at camp. Look how it came back. It looks
- 1:36:22Speaker 3: brown and he's trudging up, you know, he's hiking, and
- 1:36:26Speaker 3: he's you know, throwing it wherever intense and it is
- 1:36:28Speaker 3: absolutely perfect. It's the mateen m A t E. I
- 1:36:32Speaker 3: n carry on backpack and guess how much it is.
- 1:36:35Speaker 1: I love that it has a side handle so you
- 1:36:37Speaker 1: can carry it like a suitcase.
- 1:36:38Speaker 3: Give me a little it can be a backpack.
- 1:36:43Speaker 4: Is all black, So can I get like like, I
- 1:36:45Speaker 4: like blush one for you know, match one they do have.
- 1:36:49Speaker 3: I don't know, fifteen colors, like the plush instead. But
- 1:36:54Speaker 3: I got the extra large because this is like the
- 1:36:56Speaker 3: perfect size. Now for something like this, you expense.
- 1:37:01Speaker 1: I don't remember the last time I bought a backpack,
- 1:37:04Speaker 1: but I would think forty nine dollars.
- 1:37:08Speaker 4: Let's say one hundred and fifty thousand.
- 1:37:10Speaker 10: I say forty.
- 1:37:11Speaker 4: I'd say something fifty.
- 1:37:14Speaker 3: This bag that now we all own one because we
- 1:37:17Speaker 3: were fighting over the one he brought back from Scouts
- 1:37:20Speaker 3: was twenty three dollars.
- 1:37:21Speaker 4: Oh, it is so good.
- 1:37:24Speaker 3: And that's what I'm saying, like, if you have overnights
- 1:37:27Speaker 3: or you travel light like Menace does. For twenty three bucks,
- 1:37:30Speaker 3: I was like this, this isn't going to come home.
- 1:37:32Speaker 3: This is going to be beat up in two days.
- 1:37:34Speaker 3: It's going to be ruined. No, No, it is super durable.
- 1:37:38Speaker 3: It rules. And it was twenty three bucks, so I
- 1:37:40Speaker 3: got two more. I love this thing. It has tons
- 1:37:43Speaker 3: of pockets. I wish I worked for the fifteen company
- 1:37:45Speaker 3: and got like commission.
- 1:37:47Speaker 4: Now, Greg, can we make a deal? We say, Can
- 1:37:49Speaker 4: we say, hey, gena looks like a great bag. Will
- 1:37:52Speaker 4: you make sure that that is your kid's backpack throughout
- 1:37:54Speaker 4: high school that he doesn't have to come and get
- 1:37:56Speaker 4: a new one every single year?
- 1:37:57Speaker 1: Is it too big to be a school backpack?
- 1:38:00Speaker 3: Maybe for like college kids, because it does have this
- 1:38:02Speaker 3: big laptop thing in the front, if you want to
- 1:38:04Speaker 3: use it for that, or.
- 1:38:08Speaker 1: Because if that's the case, yes, I think your kid
- 1:38:11Speaker 1: could use that from now until he's graduated high school.
- 1:38:15Speaker 1: Every year every year and this comes up once a year,
- 1:38:18Speaker 1: Oh it's back to school shopping time. Maybe it's just me.
- 1:38:23Speaker 1: My parents were house poor. I didn't get a new
- 1:38:25Speaker 1: backpack every year. I didn't get a new lunch box
- 1:38:27Speaker 1: every year.
- 1:38:28Speaker 3: He did.
- 1:38:28Speaker 1: The bag that I used to go to school and
- 1:38:30Speaker 1: put my books in was not even a backpack. It
- 1:38:32Speaker 1: was a Duffel bag. It was basically and I had
- 1:38:36Speaker 1: to carry it like a suitcase. And I use that
- 1:38:38Speaker 1: from childhood through high school.
- 1:38:40Speaker 3: That's insane.
- 1:38:41Speaker 1: And every year nowadays, oh well it's back to school.
- 1:38:44Speaker 1: I'm so excited. Why because they're getting new clothes, And
- 1:38:48Speaker 1: why what happened to your lunchbox for eight months ago?
- 1:38:52Speaker 4: Shining, Yeah, get a plane one fashion whatever, the flip
- 1:38:57Speaker 4: to the Stanley, but the you know, the the big Yeah,
- 1:39:02Speaker 4: that was the same one the entire time.
- 1:39:03Speaker 1: Yeah, all through school.
- 1:39:06Speaker 3: No, he'll my my baby gets a new backpack. Just no, no,
- 1:39:11Speaker 3: this isn't But I'm saying I wouldn't use this for school.
- 1:39:15Speaker 3: It opens sideways like a suitcase Sea Bass. That's the
- 1:39:18Speaker 3: whole thing open. Yes, that's the whole story. So it
- 1:39:22Speaker 3: opens like a suitcase. You wear it on your back,
- 1:39:24Speaker 3: you can hold it like a briefcase. Twenty three bucks
- 1:39:27Speaker 3: it's and people are asking it's the meteen M A
- 1:39:30Speaker 3: T E I N backpack on Amazon twenty three bucks
- 1:39:35Speaker 3: and I again, I just bought two more because I've
- 1:39:38Speaker 3: now become obsessed with it. This is how I'm going
- 1:39:41Speaker 3: to be traveling. And we'll put it up on a
- 1:39:43Speaker 3: on our Instagram.
- 1:39:44Speaker 1: Yeah, on the Instagram story at this thing you mentioned
- 1:39:48Speaker 1: concealer for the eyes. Yeah, My question for girls is
- 1:39:52Speaker 1: what the hell is exactly what the hell is to honor?
- 1:39:57Speaker 2: What is that.
- 1:40:00Speaker 1: Clear liquid?
- 1:40:00Speaker 2: Right?
- 1:40:01Speaker 5: Non is like dark?
- 1:40:04Speaker 4: Yea is like for contouring your face to make it?
- 1:40:07Speaker 6: No?
- 1:40:07Speaker 3: No, no, no no no Toner you mean like the
- 1:40:09Speaker 3: clear water.
- 1:40:10Speaker 4: It looks like like just like it'll make it look
- 1:40:14Speaker 4: like you have No, no, it's like a face Bronzer.
- 1:40:17Speaker 3: Toner is literally just like like a water you put
- 1:40:21Speaker 3: on after you.
- 1:40:23Speaker 10: Wash your face, Like it doesn't cellular water.
- 1:40:25Speaker 3: Whatever you do anything then you.
- 1:40:27Speaker 4: Use for contouring Bronzer then.
- 1:40:31Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:40:31Speaker 4: The thing I'm seeing that with toner is it's is
- 1:40:34Speaker 4: it an astringent sometimes?
- 1:40:36Speaker 3: No, it's not that heavy. It's literally like water. And
- 1:40:39Speaker 3: for contour you use contour. Bronzer is warm. Contour is
- 1:40:44Speaker 3: a cool base.
- 1:40:44Speaker 4: Other question, yeah, dog, something so called poor perfecting toner
- 1:40:49Speaker 4: with witch hazel, which Hazel is.
- 1:40:51Speaker 3: A big ingredient and all that.
- 1:40:53Speaker 10: I used to buy all that stuff Fays or whatever
- 1:40:55Speaker 10: that brand is, but then I realized it's just a scam.
- 1:40:57Speaker 10: It doesn't do anything.
- 1:40:59Speaker 3: Okay, hey, if you guys are just desperate to find out, Yes,
- 1:41:03Speaker 3: I still I've never heard of that.
- 1:41:06Speaker 4: This is awesome.
- 1:41:07Speaker 3: This is doctor Malaxin M E l A x I
- 1:41:10Speaker 3: N Doctor Malaxin.
- 1:41:12Speaker 4: Uh.
- 1:41:13Speaker 3: I think it's the rest of It's in French calcium
- 1:41:16Speaker 3: dark spot cover I Cream and Stacey from sales hit
- 1:41:20Speaker 3: me to this and I'm obsessed with it. So if
- 1:41:22Speaker 3: you want, you can take a little.
- 1:41:23Speaker 10: Does it get rid of the bags under your eyes?
- 1:41:25Speaker 1: Well?
- 1:41:25Speaker 3: Yeah, it hydrates them and it turns them a peachy
- 1:41:27Speaker 3: off fantasy.
- 1:41:28Speaker 1: It's makeup, is what I mean.
- 1:41:30Speaker 4: Kind of.
- 1:41:30Speaker 3: But I think guys can get away with this.
- 1:41:32Speaker 4: Man as we could go with doctor John John Jus.
- 1:41:34Speaker 4: Or we get the Hello Kitty pure Cura strawberry milkton er.
- 1:41:36Speaker 3: Thank you, just pat that on, nice and cooling guy.
- 1:41:42Speaker 3: To try the Mateen backpack m A T E I N.
- 1:41:45Speaker 3: It's like a backpack suitcase for travel. Twenty three bucks
- 1:41:48Speaker 3: get the extra large do yourself affair.
- 1:41:50Speaker 4: I'll say this brand has they have a traditional backpack style.
- 1:41:53Speaker 4: If you do want to try to get one for
- 1:41:55Speaker 4: your kid for the rest of the America for.
- 1:41:58Speaker 1: Fifteen, as you should at this point, why don't we
- 1:42:01Speaker 1: just all liquidate our bank account and take the money
- 1:42:03Speaker 1: and put it in the fire.
- 1:42:06Speaker 4: I'm looking for real answers, No Woody Show.
- 1:42:09Speaker 1: We are back here on The Woody Show Wednesday morning,
- 1:42:13Speaker 1: when tomorrow's a throwback Thursday. I'm already pre ripping for that,
- 1:42:18Speaker 1: stoked for that. Right now, we actually have some ooh
- 1:42:21Speaker 1: food news.
- 1:42:22Speaker 3: Oohoos you speaking of pre ripping, there is so much
- 1:42:26Speaker 3: stuff that's dropping right now, and I figure somebody at
- 1:42:29Speaker 3: least needs to give it a try and let us know.
- 1:42:31Speaker 3: Dairy Queen, Okay, I'm not a sweet tooth person like
- 1:42:35Speaker 3: I know, you're an ice cream guy. I'd much rather
- 1:42:37Speaker 3: have like potato chips or French fries. But this I
- 1:42:40Speaker 3: cannot stop thinking about. Dairy Queen has just released for
- 1:42:43Speaker 3: a limited time for just the month of August, the
- 1:42:46Speaker 3: Caramel Apple Cheesecake Blizzard Tree. I mean, good god, so
- 1:42:51Speaker 3: it's the August blizzard of the month. I feel like
- 1:42:53Speaker 3: it should be like the September or October, but whatever,
- 1:42:56Speaker 3: that's not quite seoson. Okay, Yeah, I agree, you should
- 1:42:58Speaker 3: be like watermelon or something. But it combines the DQ's signature,
- 1:43:02Speaker 3: you know, the soft serve with real cheesecake pieces and
- 1:43:05Speaker 3: caramel apple topic get inside me.
- 1:43:09Speaker 4: I'm the only one that's kind of out.
- 1:43:11Speaker 1: He's not a caramel eat it.
- 1:43:12Speaker 4: I just the caramel my favorite.
- 1:43:15Speaker 3: I'm with you. It's like a sweet that might as
- 1:43:18Speaker 3: well be chocolate if it's going to be sweet, I
- 1:43:19Speaker 3: get that. But with apple, it's perfection.
- 1:43:23Speaker 1: Greg.
- 1:43:23Speaker 4: Do you ever stop at a dairy queen? Because I
- 1:43:24Speaker 4: feel like that's one of those things you might say
- 1:43:26Speaker 4: doesn't exist. Yeah, I don't all.
- 1:43:29Speaker 1: The Do I even remember the last time I saw one? No.
- 1:43:34Speaker 1: I My grandma used to live right near a Foster's Freeze,
- 1:43:38Speaker 1: do you guys? And I would go there and get
- 1:43:44Speaker 1: the soft served and we called it dipped. Do you
- 1:43:47Speaker 1: want it dipped? Yes, obviously. And then I have such
- 1:43:50Speaker 1: fond memories of my grandma because she lived in this
- 1:43:52Speaker 1: two story house and she had a porch on the
- 1:43:54Speaker 1: second floor, and the Fosters was off in the distance,
- 1:43:57Speaker 1: not that far Stone's Throat, So I would say, do
- 1:44:00Speaker 1: you want anything from Foster's Freeze. No, nothing, and then
- 1:44:04Speaker 1: I'd be about halfway to Foster's Grady.
- 1:44:08Speaker 4: Since you're dipped, Okay, I shouted from changed mind?
- 1:44:16Speaker 1: Is it me?
- 1:44:17Speaker 4: And look, Derek Queen, I like you, But I also
- 1:44:19Speaker 4: when I think of Jerry Queen, like, oh, that's where
- 1:44:21Speaker 4: white trash goes?
- 1:44:25Speaker 10: Is that where you get?
- 1:44:26Speaker 8: Well?

- 1:44:28Speaker 1: Yeah, okay, you're looking at the wrong guy.
- 1:44:30Speaker 3: And what of the peanut Buster parfe?
- 1:44:35Speaker 1: Is that peanut butter flavored?
- 1:44:37Speaker 3: No, it's the soft serve with the chocolate dip and
- 1:44:40Speaker 3: crushed peanut.
- 1:44:43Speaker 4: And the pro tip, if I can say. I was
- 1:44:45Speaker 4: driving back from Vegas through Baker and I it's but
- 1:44:48Speaker 4: there's one attached to the Tesla charging station. Oh yeah, lucky.
- 1:44:51Speaker 4: And there's this line out the door for everybody loves
- 1:44:54Speaker 4: Dairy Queen because it is awesome. So I go like,
- 1:44:56Speaker 4: I'm not going men, not gonna wait, no line, no

- 1:45:27Speaker 4: and so packed. That's what I'm saying. White trash, dairy queen.
- 1:45:29Speaker 3: But which ones? Which one's trash here dairy queen or
- 1:45:33Speaker 3: or what did you say?
- 1:45:34Speaker 1: Foster Fosters Freeze Foster's I think kind of morphed into
- 1:45:38Speaker 1: like a burger spot.
- 1:45:39Speaker 3: Yeah, they have really good corn dogs. That's all.
- 1:45:41Speaker 4: I didn't grow up around Fosters, but I like White
- 1:45:43Speaker 4: Castle and Dairy Queen's Like, oh that's where the white
- 1:45:44Speaker 4: trash as these like uh a resurgence, like a rebrand.
- 1:45:52Speaker 1: It's mego.

- 1:45:57Speaker 6: and I got a happy meal or you know, years ago,
- 1:46:00Speaker 6: but it was still a happy meal.
- 1:46:01Speaker 5: And the toy that I got in it was Indian
- 1:46:03Speaker 5: in the cupboard from like nineteen ninety two. Yeah, exactly.
- 1:46:07Speaker 5: So I don't know how many people are going to pass.
- 1:46:11Speaker 4: Yeah, Shirley Scarves.
- 1:46:15Speaker 3: Well, here's some more stuff I've been sleeping on Wendy's
- 1:46:18Speaker 3: too long, and I'm back on board. I love Wendy's.

- 1:46:22Speaker 3: I had no, it just didn't. I don't know why.
- 1:46:23Speaker 3: For some reason, Wendy's and breakfast, I don't It just
- 1:46:25Speaker 3: didn't compute. But they're bringing back their fall menu a
- 1:46:28Speaker 3: little early. And they have all these pub style things,

- 1:46:41Speaker 3: bringing there was a vote, there was a vote to
- 1:46:45Speaker 3: bring back the pretzel bacon pub burger. That everything else
- 1:46:52Speaker 3: sounds great.
- 1:46:53Speaker 1: There's something very fun and exciting about when you go
- 1:46:56Speaker 1: to a bar or a pub and you get the
- 1:46:57Speaker 1: pretzel on that hook. Yeah, little things in life are
- 1:47:01Speaker 1: so joyful.
- 1:47:02Speaker 4: Totally.

- 1:47:30Speaker 4: Menace hates anything with a depth of flavor or richness
- 1:47:33Speaker 4: to it. The sweet bread there you go, perfect example
