- 0:22Speaker 2: how you doing?
- 0:24Speaker 4: Yeah? Hey, Mark, you were talking about MLB. They were
- 0:28Speaker 4: going to open it or they're going to get a
- 0:30Speaker 4: team in Portland.
- 0:31Speaker 2: Because the chaos up there, they backed out. Oh yeah,
- 0:34Speaker 2: that's no Portland. You can't have a team in Portland.
- 0:38Speaker 2: Not big enough for a baseball team. How about Hartford?
- 0:41Speaker 4: I don't know.
- 0:41Speaker 2: I'm just.
- 0:43Speaker 4: I'm just telling you what.
- 0:44Speaker 2: I what I've read.
- 0:46Speaker 4: Yeah, I'm a big San Francisco Giants fan.
- 0:49Speaker 2: There is I love baseball, all right? You have no
- 0:51Speaker 2: Portland's there's not enough people in Portland and it doesn't
- 0:55Speaker 2: work the Portland Lobsters. It's what kind of team is that? Anyway?
- 0:59Speaker 2: Thanks for calling. Let's go to Joe Elmwood Park. Joe,
- 1:02Speaker 2: how you doing? How you doing?
- 1:04Speaker 4: Mark?
- 1:04Speaker 5: The morning we were warned by Rush Limbaugh and Bob
- 1:09Speaker 5: Grant that they were going to go and ivanheimus that
- 1:11Speaker 5: they were going to go too far with the woke stuff.
- 1:14Speaker 2: We were warned, well you could even Paul Harvey wanted
- 1:18Speaker 2: that in the sixties. But yeah, well President Trump always
- 1:21Speaker 2: says that that they h they always go too far,
- 1:25Speaker 2: they always go too far. So, yeah, it's a cycle.
- 1:28Speaker 2: It'll end, it'll end pretty soon. Thanks for Colin. Let's
- 1:31Speaker 2: go to Bob in Montvale, New Jersey. Bob, how you doing.
- 1:36Speaker 1: I'm doing great, Mark, thanks for taking my call. This
- 1:44Speaker 1: climate thing isn't over because this law is that como
- 1:48Speaker 1: sign that like kicking in that is just going to
- 1:51Speaker 1: make things worse unless Bruce Blakeman can reverse.
- 1:54Speaker 2: The law of New York. Yeah, well you're right.
- 1:58Speaker 1: Now, Donald Trump can say what you want, But is
- 2:00Speaker 1: New York law that's like in place unfortunately, Yeah, I.
- 2:04Speaker 2: Don't know if you heard, there's forty nine other states.
- 2:07Speaker 2: What he's talking about could help with the other states.
- 2:09Speaker 2: New York, you're right, is controlled by about a bunch
- 2:12Speaker 2: of left wing cooks, and Cuomo was the most left
- 2:15Speaker 2: wing guy, the most radical left wing. He's the guy
- 2:17Speaker 2: that closed the Indian Point. He banned fracking. You're right,
- 2:21Speaker 2: we need Bruce Blakeman. He can undo that stuff. You know,
- 2:24Speaker 2: when Cuomo closed Indian Point, there was no reason to
- 2:27Speaker 2: It's the cleanest energy we got nuclear energy, and most
- 2:31Speaker 2: countries are twenty five percent nuclear energy. But when Cuomo
- 2:35Speaker 2: closed Indian Point, that was twenty five percent of our electricity.
- 2:39Speaker 2: That's why your electric bill went crazy. We lost a
- 2:42Speaker 2: lot of our energy. That's why your electric bill is
- 2:44Speaker 2: all of a sudden, a double triple what it used
- 2:47Speaker 2: to be thanks to Cuomo. Let's go to Tony and
- 2:49Speaker 2: Long Island. Tony, how you doing Yeah?
- 2:52Speaker 5: How you're doing them?
- 2:53Speaker 2: Good?
- 2:55Speaker 5: Hello? Yeah, go ahead. I have a question him. I
- 3:01Speaker 5: was thinking about, Uh, wouldn't it be a good idea?
- 3:05Speaker 5: I'm hoping Bruce Blakeman does get in. But even if
- 3:10Speaker 5: he does get in, you got that entire legislature up
- 3:13Speaker 5: there in Albany that are going to go in a
- 3:15Speaker 5: totally different time.
- 3:17Speaker 2: But he's running Nasall County with Democrats and the legislature.
- 3:19Speaker 2: He's good at dealing with that. But what's the idea?
- 3:23Speaker 5: Hopefully? But I was also contemplating, wouldn't it be a
- 3:26Speaker 5: good idea? I would think for Long Island to become
- 3:29Speaker 5: its own state? No, no, no, sure, I would think
- 3:35Speaker 5: so that we're not affiliated with New York City anymore.
- 3:40Speaker 2: But the Long Island's got to be part of New York.
- 3:42Speaker 2: It's got to be part of everybody's.
- 3:44Speaker 5: The only other borough in New York that's got some
- 3:49Speaker 5: common sense is Starton Island.
- 3:51Speaker 2: Yeah, where are you in Long Island?
- 3:53Speaker 5: I'm over here in Brentwood.
- 3:55Speaker 2: Oh okay, yeah.
- 3:59Speaker 5: County. No matter what direction we go, I would think
- 4:02Speaker 5: that if New York or Long Island became its own sing.
- 4:06Speaker 5: When you think about it, Rhode Island is actually smaller
- 4:09Speaker 5: than Long Island.
- 4:11Speaker 2: Yeah, Nasau County is like three million people. It's bigger
- 4:14Speaker 2: than a lot of states. Yeah, renal Rhode Island is tiny,
- 4:16Speaker 2: but it's a it's a different way you get Long Island.
- 4:19Speaker 2: You got to be part of New York.
- 4:20Speaker 5: Yeah, I think people, you know, the way I look
- 4:23Speaker 5: at it, seems like you got more people on that
- 4:26Speaker 5: on Long Island that's got a lot more common sense,
- 4:28Speaker 5: well than than the New York City vicinity there, you
- 4:32Speaker 5: know what I mean?
- 4:33Speaker 2: Yeah, No, they're pretty good. Well, they're pretty smart. Uh,
- 4:37Speaker 2: now you can't. You got you got to remain part
- 4:39Speaker 2: of New York. We need you as part of New York.
- 4:41Speaker 2: Let's go to Jerry and Greenwich. Jerry, how you doing.
- 4:45Speaker 4: I'm doing well, Thank you. Mark. Every time I look
- 4:49Speaker 4: at Bernard Sander's on television, it looks like a crazy
- 4:52Speaker 4: maniac because he should be committed. You know, well, very
- 4:57Speaker 4: dangerous to America, he said, like the New York's Times.
- 5:01Speaker 2: Uh, you know, nobody listens to him. He's not relevant
- 5:05Speaker 2: enough to be dangerous. But that's his act, acting like
- 5:07Speaker 2: a crazy man.
- 5:09Speaker 4: Well, he's very influential to people, I think, you know, yeah,
- 5:12Speaker 4: not really, I'm telling.
- 5:14Speaker 2: Look, yeah, it looks like a mad professor, like a
- 5:17Speaker 2: mad scientist. And he always you can never understand what
- 5:21Speaker 2: all he's trying to say.
- 5:22Speaker 4: He said, bad, dude, he's really bad, you know.
- 5:25Speaker 2: Yeah, all right, he's yeah, No, he's just the kind
- 5:29Speaker 2: of a silly guy, you know, is the richest ten
- 5:32Speaker 2: percent of the twelve percent of the richest two percent.
- 5:35Speaker 2: He just likes to yell and scream. Let's go to
- 5:37Speaker 2: uh Richard and Valley Stream. Richard, how you doing?
- 5:41Speaker 4: Hell?
- 5:41Speaker 3: I just want to comment on what you said before
- 5:43Speaker 3: about baseball expanding, and you said that the quality of
- 5:46Speaker 3: play is going down. I really don't want too more
- 5:49Speaker 3: teams either. But the fact is they may double the
- 5:52Speaker 3: number of teams, but the population are more than doubled.
- 5:54Speaker 3: And when you consider that now they have all the
- 5:56Speaker 3: black players, which they never give away, that's.
- 5:58Speaker 2: The population of America doubled. But what Americans are playing,
- 6:01Speaker 2: we get they all come from the Dominican Republic or someplace.
- 6:04Speaker 3: Okay, well they have them in Parking today or Japan
- 6:07Speaker 3: or any place.
- 6:10Speaker 2: Yeah, we're importing players now from Well.
- 6:12Speaker 3: That's not say it's the competition harder now to get
- 6:16Speaker 3: into the major leagues.
- 6:18Speaker 2: Well, yeah, I guess you're right. You may be right. Yeah,
- 6:20Speaker 2: you know, in good old days, we're all American players.
- 6:23Speaker 2: You know, the manager go out to the mound, talk
- 6:25Speaker 2: to the picture, take them out. You know. The managers
- 6:27Speaker 2: have told me now when they go out to the mound,
- 6:29Speaker 2: you need like an interpreter with you. The guy doesn't
- 6:31Speaker 2: speak English. It's very tough either it a only speaks
- 6:34Speaker 2: Spanish or Japanese or something like that. Two more teams,
- 6:39Speaker 2: I don't know. Hey, you could have a Long Island team.
- 6:44Speaker 2: That's a huge population. Population of Long Island is more
- 6:47Speaker 2: than a lot of states. It's a lot more than
- 6:50Speaker 2: the you know Sacramento wants a team. Yeah, I know,
- 6:52Speaker 2: you could say the Mets of the Long Island team.
- 6:54Speaker 2: But you could have an actual Long Island team. But
- 6:56Speaker 2: then you'd have to put it somewhere. Where would you
- 6:58Speaker 2: put it in Long Island? What's the big city in
- 7:01Speaker 2: Long is I don't know. A garden city, now, Huntington
- 7:06Speaker 2: somewhere in Long I am a major league team. Hey,
- 7:09Speaker 2: when we come back, we like to bring you the
- 7:11Speaker 2: smartest people around. Charles Payne, Fox Business Network does the
- 7:15Speaker 2: show making money. People have made a lot of money
- 7:18Speaker 2: watching Charles pain brilliant guy. We'll talk to him about
- 7:21Speaker 2: lots of things. Should you buy that SpaceX ipo? Everybody's buzzing,
- 7:24Speaker 2: but we'll get to that and a whole lot more
