- 0:02Speaker 1: Well, it's this Sunday pod. I used to have that
- 0:04Speaker 1: addition a lot more freggling, but it is where we
- 0:07Speaker 1: talk about some news on the one leg up network.
- 0:09Speaker 1: And the news that I found out yesterday through our
- 0:11Speaker 1: friends at Publius pr is that local, yes, DC police
- 0:17Speaker 1: departments do not want to help keep the inauguration secure.
- 0:22Speaker 1: And so who do I turn to but one and
- 0:23Speaker 1: only Michael Lets, the CEO of invest USA. Michael, thanks
- 0:27Speaker 1: for coming back.
- 0:29Speaker 2: Alex. Always a privileged should be with you. It's a light.
- 0:31Speaker 2: You've got a great show, and you just New York
- 0:34Speaker 2: loves you. Well.
- 0:36Speaker 1: I keep on going. You help me keep going with
- 0:38Speaker 1: this show. So thank you. Now let's talk because I
- 0:41Speaker 1: see that you're one of the experts talk about this. Obviously,
- 0:45Speaker 1: local police departments not wanting to secure the inauguration, and
- 0:49Speaker 1: what does that make you feel? It must piss you
- 0:51Speaker 1: off a little bit as a law enforcement better than yourself.
- 0:54Speaker 2: It does. Let me tell you what's generously, It's depends
- 0:58Speaker 2: on the narrative that you look at. Of course, you
- 1:00Speaker 2: know there are four agencies that are not cooperating. Now
- 1:03Speaker 2: I've got friends in those agencies and I have inquired
- 1:06Speaker 2: and you know. Of course at first I would take
- 1:08Speaker 2: a great offense. This is a privilege to be at
- 1:11Speaker 2: an inauguration for the President of the United States. But
- 1:14Speaker 2: their concern is this they would be under the office
- 1:18Speaker 2: of the Metro Police Department for DC, and we have
- 1:23Speaker 2: a female chief there. And of course, if you don't
- 1:25Speaker 2: know anything about DC and their police department, they've got
- 1:28Speaker 2: quite a few issues. You know, they're very stringent on
- 1:32Speaker 2: gun control, grabbing people who trying to defend themselves. But
- 1:38Speaker 2: yet violent crime is just skyrocketed through the roof. And
- 1:42Speaker 2: quite frankly, what's happening with the criminal element is seems
- 1:47Speaker 2: to be escalating and not de escalating. So they don't
- 1:51Speaker 2: want to be under their offices under their authority. I
- 1:53Speaker 2: understand that, and quite frankly, I wouldn't want to be either.
- 1:57Speaker 2: But it was very simple list of my explanation, and
- 2:00Speaker 2: you don't have to be under their auspice. You can
- 2:03Speaker 2: simply go directly to the Capitol Police, or to the
- 2:06Speaker 2: Secret Service for that matter, or to any of the
- 2:09Speaker 2: other courdating agencies and say, hey, we're here to help.
- 2:12Speaker 2: We want to help, but we want to be helping
- 2:15Speaker 2: under your auspice, not under MPO's office, and that would
- 2:19Speaker 2: have occurred, but they didn't do that. They didn't want
- 2:22Speaker 2: to create any more waves. They felt like it was
- 2:25Speaker 2: sending a created wave with Metro. Remember, these are local
- 2:29Speaker 2: agencies that are like you know, within the jurisdiction, are
- 2:31Speaker 2: right outside. They have mutual aid agrievance, and so they
- 2:36Speaker 2: just didn't want to grandeurize the issue. So they just said,
- 2:39Speaker 2: we're too busy, we can't help. Had to be honest
- 2:42Speaker 2: with the alleys. They're small agencies. The amount of help
- 2:44Speaker 2: they would have given is muniscal anyway. But it does
- 2:48Speaker 2: show a very clear problem that as we go into
- 2:52Speaker 2: this year in DC, they have a real issue with
- 2:56Speaker 2: their crime and how it's escalating tremendously, and even their
- 3:00Speaker 2: own officers don't have a lot of confidence in their chief.
- 3:04Speaker 1: Well, and I'm sure Muriel Bowser, the mayor, has done
- 3:07Speaker 1: nothing to try and incertain the local police departments. Am
- 3:11Speaker 1: I right?
- 3:12Speaker 2: You are correct? Me? Early? What I where? You heard
- 3:15Speaker 2: me break out laughing? Is she wanted her you know,
- 3:19Speaker 2: five seconds in the spotlight. She had a phone conversation,
- 3:23Speaker 2: you know, with President elect Trump to assure the president
- 3:27Speaker 2: that she would be cooperating any way. Possible, And of
- 3:30Speaker 2: course what she really was asking for is, hey, make
- 3:32Speaker 2: sure we get plenty of money here in DC and
- 3:36Speaker 2: federal appropriations bills that are upcoming. I think the President listened,
- 3:40Speaker 2: but quite frankly, he agrees with me, we're not going
- 3:43Speaker 2: to talk about more money until you talk about cleaning
- 3:45Speaker 2: up your agency and doing the right thing by your people,
- 3:48Speaker 2: instead of squandering the money and spinning it on special projects,
- 3:52Speaker 2: or being more concerned about the criminals than you are
- 3:55Speaker 2: the victim.
- 3:56Speaker 1: Well, I got to say this is coming off the
- 3:58Speaker 1: heels of still January sixth conversation four years later. Were
- 4:04Speaker 1: these same police departments involved in not securing that as well?
- 4:08Speaker 1: I feel like there's a correlation.
- 4:11Speaker 2: It's interesting. You are correct these four police departments. Of
- 4:14Speaker 2: course they weren't asked. Yeah, here's what's interesting, And I
- 4:19Speaker 2: love the way your perceptive elis is because these four
- 4:23Speaker 2: police departments smaller, the police departments stronger values than principles.
- 4:28Speaker 2: Shall we say, that's not what Nancy Pelosi and those
- 4:31Speaker 2: that were setting up the stage for January sixth looking for.
- 4:34Speaker 2: They were looking for people who had the liberal ideology
- 4:37Speaker 2: and want to do everything they could to help stage
- 4:40Speaker 2: that event and then make it look as bad as possible.
- 4:43Speaker 2: These agencies weren't interested doing that, and that's why they
- 4:45Speaker 2: chose not to participate to begin with. So you've got
- 4:48Speaker 2: the same people, not the same people, not Nancy, but
- 4:50Speaker 2: the same chief and all asking them to be involved again,
- 4:52Speaker 2: and quite frankly, they remember the last time. No.
- 4:57Speaker 1: So I'm looking into the story more and it just
- 5:00Speaker 1: seems that you're writing's at a bypassing MPD in general,
- 5:04Speaker 1: they could have gone to the top. Now you say
- 5:06Speaker 1: you have friends in there are there some that are
- 5:09Speaker 1: conservative that would but now because the police Department's not
- 5:13Speaker 1: doing it, they don't want to stand out if you will,
- 5:15Speaker 1: Is that what's happening? Maybe for fear of retribution, Maybe
- 5:18Speaker 1: that there's that fear that that.
- 5:20Speaker 2: Is correctribution, that is correct, Alex, I mean here, yes,
- 5:25Speaker 2: let me answer your question in two stages. There are
- 5:28Speaker 2: a number of officers that would love to continue to help,
- 5:30Speaker 2: and because they're supportive of the incoming presidency and its
- 5:34Speaker 2: values and principles, but they also recognize unfortunately this has
- 5:38Speaker 2: now become a political issue, and quite frankly, their leadership
- 5:44Speaker 2: doesn't want to get in the middle of it. So
- 5:46Speaker 2: their opinion is there's so few of us, we're not
- 5:49Speaker 2: going to make that big of a difference to begin with.
- 5:51Speaker 2: Let just avoid any repercussions and just go under the
- 5:55Speaker 2: radar and move forward from there. Now, that's a sad
- 5:58Speaker 2: statement to make, Calex, especially for law enforcements who are
- 6:01Speaker 2: sworn to protect and they're not being given the opportunity
- 6:05Speaker 2: that they should be to do that. Said, they have
- 6:08Speaker 2: been in the middle of politics.
- 6:10Speaker 1: Horrible and of course I feel like every police department's
- 6:13Speaker 1: in that thing right now. And maybe a Trump era
- 6:17Speaker 1: will change the way police are looked at, maybe more
- 6:21Speaker 1: respected under a Trump era, because we know bying there
- 6:25Speaker 1: did not respect polices. I feel like the last four
- 6:28Speaker 1: years for sure, Oh.
- 6:30Speaker 2: You're exactly right, Ali side is the case. And here's
- 6:33Speaker 2: what we're anticipating over the next four we're anticipating. Of course,
- 6:37Speaker 2: President Trump has a tremendous regard and respect for our
- 6:41Speaker 2: law enforcement and for our officers, and not only would
- 6:44Speaker 2: he be espousing them, but the key thing will be
- 6:47Speaker 2: he'll be making sure they have the resources they need. Now. Interestingly,
- 6:51Speaker 2: my discussions with President Trump, he and Iron Concurrence, there's
- 6:56Speaker 2: got to be some restructuring of leadership within law enforcement.
- 7:02Speaker 2: What do we mean by that? When you have some
- 7:03Speaker 2: of these blue cities who place political appointees at the
- 7:08Speaker 2: top of policing, they take their liberal ideology and try
- 7:15Speaker 2: to translate it into policy for their departments. You can't
- 7:20Speaker 2: do this. You got to be careful. You can't run
- 7:23Speaker 2: after an assailant. You've got to if you grab hold
- 7:27Speaker 2: of the assailant, You've got to be careful how you
- 7:29Speaker 2: handle limit, et cetera. And quite frankly, I think what
- 7:32Speaker 2: you're going to see out of President Trump is, Look,
- 7:34Speaker 2: if you want federal assistants, then you have to make
- 7:39Speaker 2: sure your officers have the ability to do their job.
- 7:42Speaker 2: That also means doing the way with some of these
- 7:44Speaker 2: crazy restrictions and guidelines and policies that you have in
- 7:48Speaker 2: place that put their lives at risk, quite frankly, and
- 7:51Speaker 2: don't do anything to help the community.
- 7:53Speaker 1: What you're saying to me is, hey, New York, for instance,
- 7:56Speaker 1: get rid of or beller form laws or I'm not
- 7:58Speaker 1: gonna I'd like that.
- 8:00Speaker 2: You're right.
- 8:01Speaker 1: I believe that these bailer form laws have killed us
- 8:03Speaker 1: here in New York, literally killed us.
- 8:06Speaker 2: I think you're exactly right. Alex And that's exactly where
- 8:09Speaker 2: the President's going to be coming from. And I'm very
- 8:11Speaker 2: supportive of that. You know, just like let me let
- 8:14Speaker 2: me back up and talk about it's not just the president.
- 8:17Speaker 2: I think you're seeing this as a whole trend across
- 8:19Speaker 2: the country. The vast majority of Americas are out with
- 8:21Speaker 2: the wildfires in California. You know, the use of responses,
- 8:25Speaker 2: will the government just bail them all out? Well, the
- 8:28Speaker 2: first reaction to that was before we talk about bailing out.
- 8:31Speaker 2: If we're going to provide aid, federal aid, and it's
- 8:34Speaker 2: got to be tied into some kind of reforms because
- 8:37Speaker 2: you are the ones that were responsible for creating these
- 8:40Speaker 2: wildfire scenarios because of your policies. It's not just the
- 8:44Speaker 2: fact that they're idiotic or that they're incompetent, it's the
- 8:47Speaker 2: policies that they use that affect the American people and
- 8:50Speaker 2: the California people. When you talking about diverting water that
- 8:54Speaker 2: should be used for its constituency into the ocean, because
- 8:57Speaker 2: you're trying to preserve a little fish not even native
- 9:00Speaker 2: to California that's dying out anyway. When you won't do
- 9:04Speaker 2: good forestry packages such as undergrowth, brush burning, you know,
- 9:08Speaker 2: control burns, et cetera. No, you fix your policies and
- 9:13Speaker 2: then we'll talk about how we provide additionally, or we
- 9:16Speaker 2: could do it all at one stage. We'll give you
- 9:18Speaker 2: a on the condition that you fix these policies. It's
- 9:21Speaker 2: the same principle here with law enforcement to start providing in.
- 9:26Speaker 1: You wonder if some people that were actually putting their
- 9:28Speaker 1: fires out in their own backyard with their own water
- 9:31Speaker 1: would be fine. I mean, that's how bad it was feeling. Right,
- 9:34Speaker 1: these not in my backyard. Yet the government could come
- 9:37Speaker 1: and say, why do you use the water? You could?
- 9:39Speaker 2: You know, I agree with you, you know, I mean, I
- 9:41Speaker 2: hadn't even thought about that, Alex. But you're probably right.
- 9:44Speaker 2: It's probably not over yet. They're probably going to get
- 9:46Speaker 2: a letter, you know, I mean, or where the water
- 9:49Speaker 2: go that, you know, we assigned that you to have.
- 9:51Speaker 2: Isn't that horrible that the government could control every aspect
- 9:55Speaker 2: of your life? Is how much water you could consume?
- 9:57Speaker 2: I think Alex would really just serve the American people.
- 10:01Speaker 2: The most talking of the Wild Party is shues just
- 10:02Speaker 2: real briefly was we had other states sending in assistance,
- 10:08Speaker 2: whether it's Nevada, Oregon, Washington State, etc. They had their
- 10:13Speaker 2: tanker trucks. And I've been a firefighter, so you know,
- 10:16Speaker 2: tanker trucks usually hold about five thousand gallons. Of course,
- 10:19Speaker 2: you know it's expensive to run the gas to pull
- 10:21Speaker 2: five thousand gallons of water from another state all the
- 10:23Speaker 2: way over there. Anyway, there was a convoy of them
- 10:26Speaker 2: that went to assist. When they got to the fire,
- 10:29Speaker 2: they were turned away. They weren't even allowed to release
- 10:31Speaker 2: the five thousand gallons per truck that they had brought.
- 10:35Speaker 2: And the reason that they were turned around is because
- 10:37Speaker 2: the fire engines did not have a new emission control
- 10:42Speaker 2: equipment that the California governor had just pushed to get passed.
- 10:47Speaker 2: Odd part about it, Allex, was most of those fire
- 10:49Speaker 2: trucks actually were purchasing California a few years back. They
- 10:52Speaker 2: had recently changed the law, and the stupidity of them
- 10:55Speaker 2: not to allow them to assist with water that they
- 10:58Speaker 2: vitally needed because they thought they were emitting emissions. But
- 11:02Speaker 2: you know, what do you think the fire was doing?
- 11:04Speaker 2: And they weren't going to live there. We're just coming
- 11:05Speaker 2: to drop off a load and head back. It's just
- 11:07Speaker 2: it shows you that their ideology has so gone off
- 11:11Speaker 2: the rails that it just it doesn't make any sense
- 11:14Speaker 2: for anybody. And that's what we're talking about now, is
- 11:17Speaker 2: whether it's law enforcement in New York, whether it's you know,
- 11:19Speaker 2: firefighting in LA, We're gonna look at your policies. If
- 11:23Speaker 2: you are promoting policies that are hurting your constituency, why
- 11:27Speaker 2: should the federal government help und your bill?
- 11:29Speaker 1: Now, when you say weed, does that mean a certain
- 11:31Speaker 1: Michael Letz will have a position in the Trump administration.
- 11:34Speaker 2: Or let's just say that, you know, we are certainly
- 11:38Speaker 2: working to help him any way we can, and that
- 11:41Speaker 2: will be up to the president. But there's been plenty
- 11:42Speaker 2: of discussion, all right.
- 11:44Speaker 1: I got to ask you this as a follow up
- 11:45Speaker 1: because remember when we talked last time, after the assassination
- 11:47Speaker 1: attempt one, there was a second one. Even though no
- 11:50Speaker 1: shots were fired, there was definitely an attempt with an
- 11:53Speaker 1: armed man right out the golf course. How he got
- 11:56Speaker 1: six hundred five hundred feet just his mind boggling to me.
- 11:59Speaker 1: But after Butler we talked and I asked you this question,
- 12:02Speaker 1: I'll ask it again. Will you be providing the president
- 12:06Speaker 1: a bulletproof vest during his term.
- 12:08Speaker 2: Yes, and you know, we're working out to make sure
- 12:12Speaker 2: that it is a proper fit. And then and you know,
- 12:16Speaker 2: I get it, the President doesn't want to seem obvious,
- 12:19Speaker 2: but you know, we've got to make sure that the
- 12:21Speaker 2: vest has the protective qualities of titanium and light enough
- 12:24Speaker 2: and flexible enough for him not to be impeded in
- 12:26Speaker 2: his in his job. But quite frankly, we need to
- 12:29Speaker 2: do that.
- 12:30Speaker 1: Now leaves me my next question. Is it a more
- 12:32Speaker 1: secure event tomorrow Inauguration Day? Inside? Because I feel like
- 12:37Speaker 1: it's more contained and he's able to stay safe. If
- 12:40Speaker 1: it wasn't freezing weather, it wouldn't have been inside. Though.
- 12:42Speaker 1: I mean, he's not a woosty like that, is he.
- 12:44Speaker 1: I don't think he is.
- 12:46Speaker 2: No, he's not. But I will tell you this. There
- 12:48Speaker 2: are some extremely alarming and concerning credible threats for tomorrow
- 12:54Speaker 2: and for today and tomorrow and for Tuesday, and quite frankly,
- 13:00Speaker 2: our top horrior is to make sure that he has
- 13:02Speaker 2: sworn in. Often circumstances are great. He had at the
- 13:05Speaker 2: first time, though, we just need to get the horrent
- 13:08Speaker 2: and hit the ground running. Here is where I want
- 13:10Speaker 2: your audience to understand the security levels. The threats that
- 13:16Speaker 2: you talked about, the initial assassination attempt where he was
- 13:19Speaker 2: hit the ear, the second one, and there have been
- 13:22Speaker 2: others that have not been reported. Quite frankly, those are impossible,
- 13:28Speaker 2: and I will stand by the statement are impossible to
- 13:30Speaker 2: have gotten to the point that they did without assistance
- 13:34Speaker 2: from the inside. And until we have a thorough evaluation
- 13:38Speaker 2: and cleaning of Secret Service, FBI and others. Quite frankly,
- 13:43Speaker 2: we're going to be extremely cautious on how we proceed
- 13:46Speaker 2: from a security standpoint. The President does not like that.
- 13:50Speaker 2: You are exactly right, Alex. If we turned him loose,
- 13:53Speaker 2: he would probably walk from mar Largo up to GC
- 13:57Speaker 2: and shake every hand along the way. But right now
- 14:00Speaker 2: we've got to be prooded to make sure we keep
- 14:01Speaker 2: them in place. Because DC's a mess, Our country's a mess, Alex.
- 14:05Speaker 2: It needs some really draining of the swamp. And these
- 14:08Speaker 2: people are entrenched. It's a life and death situation for them,
- 14:12Speaker 2: and they are not going to give up easily.
- 14:14Speaker 1: All right, Well, we talk about the former Secret Service director,
- 14:18Speaker 1: Now Ronald Row seems even worse than her is the
- 14:22Speaker 1: person that was running the department?
- 14:24Speaker 2: Am I right?
- 14:25Speaker 1: I feel like it got worse under Row.
- 14:28Speaker 2: You're right, there's no question about that. I think here
- 14:31Speaker 2: is what strikes the American people when you see these
- 14:36Speaker 2: televised hearings on the hill is the arrogancy. I mean
- 14:41Speaker 2: they're arrogancy to members of Congress. They're arrogancy. Is to
- 14:46Speaker 2: get they think they're doing what should be done. When
- 14:49Speaker 2: every American can look out there and say, if you're
- 14:51Speaker 2: doing what you should have been done, how do we
- 14:52Speaker 2: get into this best to begin with? But they don't
- 14:55Speaker 2: want to be advised, They don't want to be given recommendations.
- 15:00Speaker 2: They take offense when anybody questions them. You know, Alex,
- 15:03Speaker 2: you're supposed to be a public servant. That's that last words,
- 15:06Speaker 2: key servant. Servanthood means that you want to serve everybody.
- 15:10Speaker 2: You take any recommendations, you analyze them. Those that are good,
- 15:13Speaker 2: you implement, those that are not, you just move to
- 15:16Speaker 2: the side. But I'm shocked at the arrogancy. And it's
- 15:19Speaker 2: the arrogancy. You have to believe that you're that arrogant
- 15:22Speaker 2: because you have another agenda. And that's where we get
- 15:25Speaker 2: into some really precarious situations that you're not interested in
- 15:28Speaker 2: protecting your appointee but you're interested more and making sure
- 15:33Speaker 2: that your agenda's fulfilled. Really exactly?
- 15:38Speaker 1: Yeah, all right. On that note, you feel like this
- 15:41Speaker 1: election was a referendum against Kamala or against the by
- 15:44Speaker 1: administration or both. I personally feel like maybe were just
- 15:48Speaker 1: running way away from the whole entire administration electing Trump. Yeah,
- 15:53Speaker 1: Kamala was the face of it, but the whole administration.
- 15:55Speaker 2: Had go right, I would agree with the very strongly
- 15:58Speaker 2: on what you said there, Alex. I think this election
- 16:01Speaker 2: was a referendum and not even just against Kamala and Joe,
- 16:05Speaker 2: but it was a referendum on the policies, the liberal
- 16:10Speaker 2: ideology and the craziness of the left. And why do
- 16:14Speaker 2: I feel so strongly about that? You had them going
- 16:17Speaker 2: in people will say, hey, but you know, it's time
- 16:19Speaker 2: for a change, Let's see what we can do. And
- 16:21Speaker 2: then they saw for four years what that quote unquote
- 16:24Speaker 2: change was under those policies, and they realized how bad
- 16:29Speaker 2: it was for the country, for themselves, for their families,
- 16:32Speaker 2: for their neighbors, and they said soundly, we're going to
- 16:35Speaker 2: reject this. We're not ever doing this again. You know,
- 16:38Speaker 2: we tried it, we don't like it. We're not going back.
- 16:42Speaker 1: That leads me to my next question. We're going forward,
- 16:45Speaker 1: but there are still major crises that I think Biden
- 16:48Speaker 1: has really just left Trump with. He didn't close anything
- 16:51Speaker 1: up with the Ukraine Russian war in back he said,
- 16:53Speaker 1: the Ukraine keep attacking, and you know, let's build that
- 16:56Speaker 1: conflict up as I'm leaving office. The humas Is War
- 17:00Speaker 1: is very interesting now with the ceasefire, but again I'm
- 17:04Speaker 1: not too keen on it in the sense of I'm
- 17:05Speaker 1: worried HAMASO still attack Israel during the ceasefire period. Trump's
- 17:09Speaker 1: got to get ahead of both of these, and I
- 17:11Speaker 1: think he will.
- 17:13Speaker 2: I agree. I think Alex has taken them the other
- 17:16Speaker 2: way you presented them. We'll take the last one first.
- 17:18Speaker 2: With Hamas. I think you know, the President is positioned
- 17:22Speaker 2: himself and say, look, we value life by either hostages
- 17:27Speaker 2: and we're not going to have any further discussion. You
- 17:30Speaker 2: release them, or you'll pay hell for it if you don't.
- 17:34Speaker 2: Once that's done and they're in the process of being
- 17:37Speaker 2: released now, he's already communicated to net Yang others, We're
- 17:41Speaker 2: gonna lift whatever restrictions Joe put on armaments so that
- 17:45Speaker 2: you can properly defend yourself. And you know, net Yahoo
- 17:48Speaker 2: has come back and said this is just a ceasefire.
- 17:50Speaker 2: We're just negotiating our hostages. But he has in no
- 17:54Speaker 2: way said this is over, and quite frankly, I don't
- 17:56Speaker 2: think it will be. I think Yahoo is to term
- 18:00Speaker 2: to eradicate Hamas, and quite frankly, that would be best
- 18:03Speaker 2: for Israel, for America and the world.
- 18:06Speaker 1: And then of course he's still got to deal with
- 18:08Speaker 1: what's going on in Syria that unrest, and I think
- 18:11Speaker 1: of Iran is still a huge situation to deal with
- 18:15Speaker 1: a huge crisis that has been talked about oddly enough,
- 18:18Speaker 1: but I think Trump's gonna get involved with that. Did
- 18:20Speaker 1: the deal ever happen with Iran again? Or did we
- 18:23Speaker 1: were we rendered the deal? Didn't we that Trump has
- 18:25Speaker 1: to get us out of again?
- 18:28Speaker 2: Yes? Sure he did. You know, of course, here's the downside.
- 18:30Speaker 2: You know, when Trump took over, I mean not Trump
- 18:33Speaker 2: is keeping Biden to Glover. He immediately released all economic sanctions.
- 18:38Speaker 2: He sent them six billion in cash. He he just
- 18:41Speaker 2: went nuts and everything they wanted and then some. But
- 18:45Speaker 2: what the Trump you'll seegans to do now is those
- 18:48Speaker 2: sanctions are going to come back hard and we're gonna
- 18:51Speaker 2: play hardball again. Quite frankly, I think that's what's the
- 18:54Speaker 2: best for the world. You didn't see Iran getting involved
- 18:56Speaker 2: in terrorism, sponsoring it because they're economically broke or in
- 19:00Speaker 2: Trump's administration, our goal and effort is going to be
- 19:02Speaker 2: to get them back to that same point again very quickly.
- 19:05Speaker 1: You know, he really killed off ISIS, and I know,
- 19:10Speaker 1: I mean, I want to give credit to by a
- 19:11Speaker 1: decision for trying to keep them at bay. But we
- 19:14Speaker 1: saw an attack toward at the end of the year
- 19:15Speaker 1: into the new year. So now Ices is a threat again,
- 19:18Speaker 1: aren't they? And I guess they've always been a threat.
- 19:21Speaker 2: Well, here's the biggest thing that Biden did that really
- 19:24Speaker 2: hurt us, you and I as Americans, is here that catastrophe,
- 19:30Speaker 2: a disastrous withdrawal from Afghanistian Not only did that send
- 19:34Speaker 2: the wrong message of how weak we were across the
- 19:37Speaker 2: world at the terrace countries in particular, but to leave
- 19:41Speaker 2: behind eighty three billion dollars worth of armaments that the
- 19:44Speaker 2: Taliban then took. Of course, how I didn't know how
- 19:46Speaker 2: to use the tenth of them, but they certainly put
- 19:49Speaker 2: them on the open market real quick and sold them
- 19:51Speaker 2: to Iran, Seria eighty other place for pennies on the dollar,
- 19:55Speaker 2: and they were able to use those armies to send
- 19:57Speaker 2: over to the cartels and bring them across the border.
- 20:00Speaker 2: And now you're going to now they are turning up
- 20:03Speaker 2: as weapons of mass destruction on American soil. That's one
- 20:07Speaker 2: of the key problems that we're looking better with the weekend.
- 20:09Speaker 2: There are some there's a lot out there, Alex. There's
- 20:12Speaker 2: a you know, I mean, of course, there's thirteen biolabs
- 20:16Speaker 2: that Chinese has a control over in the United States.
- 20:21Speaker 2: Some of those products are missing. There are you know,
- 20:26Speaker 2: ordances that we have discovered heavy ordances that have been
- 20:30Speaker 2: transported under the Rio Grand under tunnel and stored in
- 20:35Speaker 2: depots and unclore on the border. So quite frankly, I
- 20:40Speaker 2: think the concern for today, this afternoon, for tomorrow especially
- 20:45Speaker 2: is perhaps a major event and some loan wolf events
- 20:50Speaker 2: across the country and their purposes is that, Okay, if
- 20:53Speaker 2: we can't eliminate incoming president, then we're going to make
- 20:57Speaker 2: sure the country is in such a disarray and so
- 21:00Speaker 2: confusion and chaos it'll be hard for him to get
- 21:03Speaker 2: anything done for a while to come.
- 21:05Speaker 1: Well, I'm praying that does not happen. I'm praying that
- 21:08Speaker 1: there are no major events. But I take your expertise
- 21:13Speaker 1: on that, and that leads my next point. You mentioned
- 21:17Speaker 1: August twenty twenty one, the DISASTERUS withdrawal. That really was
- 21:22Speaker 1: the I think, for good or bad, there were really
- 21:26Speaker 1: no good moments. But the moment of the binding presidency,
- 21:29Speaker 1: when'd you say is we're hitting his last day? That
- 21:31Speaker 1: was the moment that defined his presidency.
- 21:34Speaker 2: It was, without questioning, defined his presidency. I mean, Alex,
- 21:39Speaker 2: even a third grader can tell you you don't pull
- 21:45Speaker 2: your forces out first and then leave Americans and the
- 21:49Speaker 2: constituency behind and figure that they can get out on
- 21:52Speaker 2: their own. That is the craziest plan I have ever heard.
- 21:56Speaker 2: I've never heard anybody they had quite a plan that
- 21:59Speaker 2: that was that he'll thought of. And what we should
- 22:02Speaker 2: have done was it should have been well planned out.
- 22:05Speaker 2: Of course, you know, this is what people don't really
- 22:06Speaker 2: this is what Trump was going to do. Trump was
- 22:08Speaker 2: getting us out. But what people don't realize is we
- 22:11Speaker 2: were going to keep our Grim airbase. We were going
- 22:13Speaker 2: to keep something that was less than an hour from
- 22:15Speaker 2: China to maintain control in the presence where it's desperately
- 22:19Speaker 2: needed that we gave. I gave it all up and
- 22:22Speaker 2: along with everything that was sitting there, all the orders
- 22:24Speaker 2: and everything else, and just tragic, tragic. You know, we've
- 22:30Speaker 2: got to move on.
- 22:31Speaker 1: The of all those Afghanians on the plane is just amazing.
- 22:35Speaker 1: The uh, that's the lasting image I have because then
- 22:39Speaker 1: it started out the Ukraine Russian War. Russia saw how
- 22:42Speaker 1: weak we were, and then of course Ross saw how
- 22:44Speaker 1: we we were. I mean, we didn't get into this, Michael,
- 22:47Speaker 1: because we were so wrapped up in the first and
- 22:49Speaker 1: at time of assassination. But Michael Hamas was planning a
- 22:52Speaker 1: year ahead for that attack on October seventh.
- 22:55Speaker 2: What was our government doing?
- 22:56Speaker 1: What was their intel doing to not catch any of that?
- 22:59Speaker 1: They were making trips to make these plans, and no
- 23:01Speaker 1: one thought to look into that. It just doesn't make sense.
- 23:04Speaker 2: Well, you're exactly right, see, and that gets back to
- 23:08Speaker 2: what we talked about initially, when you know, you if
- 23:11Speaker 2: whether we're perfect, we you still want to have a
- 23:15Speaker 2: restrained squaring in on auguration Because you answered the question
- 23:20Speaker 2: with what you just said, whether it's the CIA, was
- 23:24Speaker 2: the Secret Service, whether it's the FBI, we have some
- 23:27Speaker 2: bad people who are determined to hurt and destroy America
- 23:32Speaker 2: and as citizens, why we haven't weeded them out over
- 23:36Speaker 2: the years is beyond me. But not only have we
- 23:38Speaker 2: not weeded them out, we promoted them to heads, positions
- 23:42Speaker 2: and leadership. And that is what is just so frustrated
- 23:45Speaker 2: to the American people. And that's why it is a
- 23:47Speaker 2: blessing that we're starting this process today and tomorrow. We're
- 23:51Speaker 2: just trying to make sure that we do everything possible
- 23:53Speaker 2: to keep it safe. And at this stage, I can't
- 23:56Speaker 2: guarantee that we will being.
- 23:59Speaker 1: Of safety and all that. Here in New York, we
- 24:02Speaker 1: just switched hands to Jess gets tissue. I'm going to
- 24:05Speaker 1: really trust on and I think she's gonna do a
- 24:07Speaker 1: great jobs already cleaning house and weeding out the NYPT
- 24:10Speaker 1: corruption that's been there. Obviously, what's your take on her?
- 24:14Speaker 2: Have you met her yet? Have you?
- 24:15Speaker 1: What do you do for the city?
- 24:17Speaker 2: I think she's that is one of the best decisions
- 24:19Speaker 2: that's been made in a while. But here's the key,
- 24:22Speaker 2: and this is where time will tell you. Know, politics
- 24:26Speaker 2: is just a nasty animal, and can you withstand the
- 24:30Speaker 2: pressures of those who have opposing views and still stand
- 24:34Speaker 2: for what's right. She started off great, she's headed in
- 24:38Speaker 2: the right direction. Can she keep it up? That's going
- 24:41Speaker 2: to be the key. And of course I'm so glad
- 24:43Speaker 2: I'm on your show because I'm encouraging every New Yorker
- 24:45Speaker 2: call her and say, yeah, you're doing the right thing.
- 24:47Speaker 2: Don't bout any pressure to do something different.
- 24:50Speaker 1: Oh I love that. Now I know you're going to
- 24:52Speaker 1: help out the NYPD. Did that ever happen or are
- 24:55Speaker 1: we waiting? Is that some one of the worst to
- 24:56Speaker 1: give best MIPD officers.
- 24:59Speaker 2: Well, here's what is interesting is yes, that got put back,
- 25:03Speaker 2: but now that there's a new administration coming in, it
- 25:06Speaker 2: appears that we're going to be able to move that forward.
- 25:08Speaker 2: One of the key things Alex. And of course you know,
- 25:11Speaker 2: I tell it like it is. Here's some of the
- 25:14Speaker 2: difficulties to talk about. And I'll criticize law enforcement. What
- 25:17Speaker 2: we need to be criticized. Some of the major departments,
- 25:20Speaker 2: whether it's LAPD, NYPD or others, when they're unionized, they
- 25:24Speaker 2: allow the those unions to get so powerful and this
- 25:28Speaker 2: is what they do. No, I'm not going to take
- 25:32Speaker 2: any free equipment because it will mess up we already
- 25:35Speaker 2: have a contract with somebody else that we get a
- 25:38Speaker 2: percentage back from. He's going to operate that way. You
- 25:42Speaker 2: don't operate on what kind of money kickbacks you get.
- 25:45Speaker 2: You operate on what's best for the officers on the street.
- 25:48Speaker 2: And then you know, So that's where we've got to
- 25:50Speaker 2: have some reform, and we say there is need to
- 25:53Speaker 2: be some reform in law enforcement as well. We're gonna
- 25:55Speaker 2: be working that on both parallels. We're going to make
- 25:57Speaker 2: sure we restare safety security in order, but we're also
- 26:01Speaker 2: going to make sure that some of these agencies that
- 26:04Speaker 2: have abused their power get pulled in and ranged in
- 26:06Speaker 2: real quick as well.
- 26:08Speaker 1: All Right, a couple more things here, managerial things that
- 26:11Speaker 1: I think Trump has done really well. You mentioned the
- 26:14Speaker 1: FBI and the c Secret Service and all that, and
- 26:18Speaker 1: even the CIA. I like Radcliffe is that decision. But
- 26:20Speaker 1: these picks, I mean, he's in the home run with
- 26:22Speaker 1: a lot of these picks, and I'm sure you're excited
- 26:24Speaker 1: to see a lot of these folks get confirmed.
- 26:28Speaker 2: Oh, there's no question. We were just done in mar
- 26:30Speaker 2: Largo with the vast majority a number of times, and
- 26:35Speaker 2: he has been hit. This is what I tell folks
- 26:38Speaker 2: on the shows across the country. It's not just let's
- 26:41Speaker 2: just use pam bonding. It's not just PAM that you're getting.
- 26:45Speaker 2: You know, it's not just cash. It's the teams they're
- 26:48Speaker 2: bringing with them, and they have some very strong teams
- 26:53Speaker 2: that once we hit the ground, you're going to see
- 26:56Speaker 2: some major reforms and you're going to see a lot
- 26:58Speaker 2: of people getting upset because there's going to be a
- 26:59Speaker 2: lot of cleaning of the house. You know, I don't
- 27:02Speaker 2: understand how you would expect not to get cleaned in
- 27:04Speaker 2: the out of the house when you have participated in
- 27:07Speaker 2: the various activities in the past by being weaponized and
- 27:10Speaker 2: going against political opponents. You made that choice. Now this
- 27:14Speaker 2: time you got to come.
- 27:15Speaker 1: They went against parents.
- 27:16Speaker 2: I mean, it's exactly what's.
- 27:18Speaker 1: Been going the last four years. And then I want
- 27:22Speaker 1: to say this about the picks. At least this time,
- 27:25Speaker 1: you know, he comes in with the savvy he didn't
- 27:26Speaker 1: have the first time. And I'm sure you're excited to
- 27:28Speaker 1: see him not listen to any of the establishment. He's
- 27:31Speaker 1: going on his own drum, which is so important this
- 27:33Speaker 1: time around.
- 27:34Speaker 2: You're right, and I'm glad you said that, Alex, because
- 27:37Speaker 2: you literally hit the nail on the head. And the
- 27:40Speaker 2: first term, you know, he had people who said, hey,
- 27:43Speaker 2: I'm your best friend, and I've been here forever and
- 27:45Speaker 2: i could take exactly what you need. They weren't his
- 27:48Speaker 2: best friend. They were their best friend, nobody else's, and
- 27:51Speaker 2: they stacked everything against him. He got stabbed in the
- 27:54Speaker 2: back more times than you and I can count. This time,
- 27:56Speaker 2: he's learned. You know, I'm not trying to promote somebody
- 27:59Speaker 2: that wants to I want to promote somebody that wants
- 28:01Speaker 2: to do the job mission and then get out of
- 28:03Speaker 2: there once it's done. That's what we're getting. That's what
- 28:06Speaker 2: you're seeing, and that's where the enthusiasm is coming from.
- 28:09Speaker 2: These folks are not trying to make a political career.
- 28:11Speaker 2: They want to restore America to greatness and then go
- 28:14Speaker 2: home and live under that greatness with their families like
- 28:16Speaker 2: every other American.
- 28:19Speaker 1: And then here in New York. I think he's going
- 28:22Speaker 1: to pardon Adams. And look, Adams is a long time
- 28:24Speaker 1: NYPD guy and he's done some chased stuff. But do
- 28:28Speaker 1: you do you think he will pardon Is that going
- 28:30Speaker 1: to change New York? Having that relationship compared to the
- 28:33Speaker 1: very frosty. Biden Adams and the Adams called the guy out.
- 28:39Speaker 2: Yeah, you're exactly right. I mean, let's take just a
- 28:41Speaker 2: second on that particular issue. You know, I've done Eric,
- 28:45Speaker 2: as you know for a long time, and has Eric
- 28:48Speaker 2: done everything right? Absolutely not. However, I find it ironic
- 28:53Speaker 2: that they presented an image that he does everything is
- 28:57Speaker 2: right as long as he was complying with what they
- 28:59Speaker 2: were ques. We're talking about the biody administration. First time
- 29:02Speaker 2: he started looking at the reality. You know, you're bankrupted
- 29:06Speaker 2: me with these illegal immigrants. We can't continue down this path.
- 29:09Speaker 2: We've got to do something, and he bucked their narrative.
- 29:12Speaker 2: Suddenly we got to find a way to indict him.
- 29:14Speaker 2: So yes, I do feel like the President is going
- 29:17Speaker 2: to be helpful to make sure that justice is not
- 29:20Speaker 2: being weaponized. And I do think with that relationship with
- 29:23Speaker 2: the Trump administration, new York's going to just prosper like
- 29:26Speaker 2: it's never prospered before.
- 29:27Speaker 1: And though he's done an official resident here, he loves
- 29:29Speaker 1: New York. I really believe Trump still loves New York
- 29:32Speaker 1: because it's his home.
- 29:32Speaker 2: I mean, no matter what he does.
- 29:34Speaker 1: Tis James tries to do, it's still his home. He's
- 29:37Speaker 1: got Trump Tower on Fifth Avenue and all that.
- 29:39Speaker 2: So I think tis James, and I think quite a
- 29:42Speaker 2: few others, Andy Briggs and others need to start being
- 29:47Speaker 2: really concerned and lawyering up because quite frankly, I can
- 29:50Speaker 2: tell you it is not a matter of vindictiveness. But
- 29:53Speaker 2: this administration is not to allow anybody to weaponize and
- 29:58Speaker 2: politicize his our justice system and get by with it.
- 30:02Speaker 2: They are going to be held accountable and I think
- 30:06Speaker 2: that's the appropriate thing to do. Now.
- 30:08Speaker 1: One thing I want to mention Adams because he mentioned
- 30:10Speaker 1: there's a law in the books that now ICE can't
- 30:12Speaker 1: cooperate with New York. Is that a state state thing?
- 30:17Speaker 1: And then also this deportation, I feel like it's been
- 30:20Speaker 1: exaggerated the last few months since Tom Holman, who I'm
- 30:24Speaker 1: sure you know, became borders are. I can't believe it's
- 30:28Speaker 1: going to be massive port It's going to be very strategic,
- 30:30Speaker 1: isn't It's not going to be wild wild west is
- 30:33Speaker 1: The media is impersonal and you know you are correct.
- 30:36Speaker 2: I was just down in Morlogo with Tom and you know,
- 30:41Speaker 2: making sure that they have the equivalent that they need,
- 30:43Speaker 2: the best they need et cetera. We're still working on
- 30:45Speaker 2: that because of the fact that it's a Brian Shane
- 30:48Speaker 2: to have our brave American heroes, men and women in blue,
- 30:52Speaker 2: got to go in now and secure our country from
- 30:55Speaker 2: the drug cartels, et cetera, and not be able to
- 30:57Speaker 2: protect themselves. But that having been said, is very strategic.
- 31:01Speaker 2: The first and foremost thing, most people don't realize Tom's
- 31:04Speaker 2: gonna go after the child sex traffickers that is a
- 31:08Speaker 2: blight on this country that we should never have Alex
- 31:11Speaker 2: And then of course that segment ties in because the
- 31:14Speaker 2: cartels are involved. So by picking that segment, you're gonna
- 31:17Speaker 2: be going after the cartels. At the same time, cartels
- 31:20Speaker 2: are in sponsorship and in partnership with the terrorist networks
- 31:25Speaker 2: that we have in this country, and those terrorist networks
- 31:27Speaker 2: are using villains from all across the world that have
- 31:31Speaker 2: come here illegally. So you're gonna get all for You're
- 31:33Speaker 2: gonna get a four for the price of one. But
- 31:36Speaker 2: he is strategically going to be going after that. People
- 31:38Speaker 2: all the time come up to me and say, oh,
- 31:40Speaker 2: y'all going after that grandmother that is across the street.
- 31:42Speaker 2: Absolutely not. What we want to do is make sure
- 31:45Speaker 2: that we make America safe again. And these are the
- 31:48Speaker 2: kind of people that have to go Tell this, Alex,
- 31:52Speaker 2: it's a hard truth. But these folks have better armaments
- 31:55Speaker 2: and better protection than we do. I promise you they're
- 31:58Speaker 2: not going to be sitting on the curb's eye with
- 32:00Speaker 2: lunch paill waiting to go home. It's going to be tough.
- 32:03Speaker 2: It's going to be a very combative situation. We need
- 32:06Speaker 2: to make sure our first responders, along with the military.
- 32:09Speaker 2: The President will be using the military. Along with the military.
- 32:12Speaker 2: We make sure that we have the upper hand to
- 32:15Speaker 2: free them. And quite frankly, this is the message we're
- 32:18Speaker 2: sending to them right now. Yeah, three choices. Go home
- 32:21Speaker 2: now on your own. Second of all, go turn yourself in,
- 32:27Speaker 2: or when we come to get you, go without resistance.
- 32:29Speaker 2: Or thirdly, you might be going home in a body bag.
- 32:31Speaker 2: But quite frankly, we're going to rid this country of
- 32:34Speaker 2: the plot that you have brought to the American people.
- 32:36Speaker 2: It will no longer continue to stand.
- 32:39Speaker 1: And by the way, being the first responders need to
- 32:41Speaker 1: arm to arm up and to vest up, if you will.
- 32:44Speaker 1: Since November's election, have you noticed calls coming in to
- 32:48Speaker 1: invite an invest Usa, Hey, I wanna, I wanna, you know,
- 32:53Speaker 1: get your vest right now as we head to an administration,
- 32:55Speaker 1: because they're more inspired to be protected by this administration,
- 33:00Speaker 1: if you will, and more inspired to their job because
- 33:01Speaker 1: they have someone who's looking after them.
- 33:03Speaker 2: It's I love being on your show. You're so intuitive,
- 33:06Speaker 2: but you're exactly right. It's just it's the difference between
- 33:10Speaker 2: night and day just over the last few months, and
- 33:12Speaker 2: it's encouraging from morale. It's encouraging to see our first responders,
- 33:18Speaker 2: our American heroes, begin to take heart once again and say, hey,
- 33:23Speaker 2: now I'm not despairing. And they would have done their
- 33:26Speaker 2: job even if it would have not turned out this way.
- 33:29Speaker 2: But most of them probably would have walked off the
- 33:32Speaker 2: job because why would you want to try to do
- 33:33Speaker 2: a job that they're not going to back you on,
- 33:35Speaker 2: that put your life and your family's life at risk
- 33:38Speaker 2: and get no reward for it. But now they know
- 33:40Speaker 2: the times are changed. The American people are solidly behind this. Alex.
- 33:44Speaker 2: I must put a shout out to all your listeners
- 33:47Speaker 2: in New York. Thank y'all. We're getting so many calls
- 33:49Speaker 2: and so many messages from New Yorkers say thank you
- 33:53Speaker 2: for what you're doing. We stand with you. We all
- 33:56Speaker 2: stand together for America's safety. And I'm just so proud
- 34:00Speaker 2: of being an American as I know you in every
- 34:02Speaker 2: New York careers as well well.
- 34:05Speaker 1: You know, and interestingly enough, I feel like we all
- 34:08Speaker 1: want what's good for the country. So it could have
- 34:11Speaker 1: been a very different biding misician. Would you have rooted
- 34:13Speaker 1: him on if he did write for America? I feel
- 34:15Speaker 1: like there's this whole no question, there's this whole idea
- 34:17Speaker 1: that all Republicans don't like Democrats. No, we just want
- 34:19Speaker 1: people to do their jobs, do what they'rected to do.
- 34:22Speaker 1: So let's say August twenty twenty doesn't happen, it might
- 34:25Speaker 1: have been a different outlook for the whole country.
- 34:26Speaker 2: Would you say, well, I would agree. In fact, this
- 34:29Speaker 2: is one of the things that we've been very clear
- 34:31Speaker 2: on is, you know, as we begin to drain the swamp,
- 34:37Speaker 2: I tell people this across the country on news shows.
- 34:40Speaker 2: Don't be thinking that we're there just gonna be some
- 34:43Speaker 2: Democrats you're going to read about on the paper quie franca.
- 34:45Speaker 2: There are just as many establishment and rhino Republicans as
- 34:48Speaker 2: there are on the other side. So It does makes
- 34:51Speaker 2: no difference what your party affiliation is, what your gender, race,
- 34:55Speaker 2: or anything else is. What does make a difference is
- 34:57Speaker 2: your actions and whether they were right or wrong. And
- 35:00Speaker 2: you will be held accountable for the way you took
- 35:03Speaker 2: your actions towards the American people.
- 35:06Speaker 1: And that leads me to the big thing. Does now
- 35:08Speaker 1: Trump not use justice? But does he go after the bidens?
- 35:12Speaker 1: I mean there's a big thing now where there's a
- 35:14Speaker 1: lot of evidence. Is that a possibility or is he
- 35:16Speaker 1: can just move forward and not play that political game
- 35:19Speaker 1: that Biden played.
- 35:20Speaker 2: We've had these discussions, been very frank in these discussions.
- 35:24Speaker 2: The initial part of these discussions were, you know, can
- 35:28Speaker 2: the country sustain it? Is it best for the country?
- 35:31Speaker 2: Is it best to move on? And I interjected into
- 35:34Speaker 2: being very firm on this matter, and I think this
- 35:36Speaker 2: is where we're headed now. You know, either you believe
- 35:39Speaker 2: in accountability or you don't, because if it's selective accountability,
- 35:43Speaker 2: it's not accountability. So I don't care whether you're the
- 35:47Speaker 2: former President of the United States, Joe Biden, or whether
- 35:49Speaker 2: you're the janitor at the school across the street. You
- 35:53Speaker 2: will be held accountable. And if we see actions that
- 35:56Speaker 2: need to be called to the mat. This president is
- 35:59Speaker 2: going to do it. So I realize that people may
- 36:02Speaker 2: suddenly kind of recoil a little bit off of hearing
- 36:04Speaker 2: these comments on your show. But folks, you need to
- 36:07Speaker 2: bear one principle of mind. Either we believe in accountability
- 36:10Speaker 2: and we believe in justice, or we don't. Selective accountability
- 36:14Speaker 2: and selective adjustment is not that at all. And so yes,
- 36:18Speaker 2: to answer your question, Uh, there's a lot of people,
- 36:21Speaker 2: not just the Bidens his previous presidents. There's a lot
- 36:25Speaker 2: of members that have been in high positions in the
- 36:27Speaker 2: past in office that have done nefarious at treason US
- 36:31Speaker 2: things against this country. I'd be scared to death if
- 36:34Speaker 2: I were them. Because accountability is coming.
- 36:38Speaker 1: I love that, And Michael, I love when you're on
- 36:40Speaker 1: my show. You just are a breath of fresh air.
- 36:41Speaker 1: So with that in mind, you got to be celebrating today.
- 36:44Speaker 1: It's the final day of the bidenvitation. Work here we
- 36:47Speaker 1: are here.
- 36:48Speaker 2: Mike, we are finally here, and you know it is
- 36:52Speaker 2: a of course, I'm not so sure that Joe knows
- 36:57Speaker 2: that his administration is over. I'm not so sure he
- 36:59Speaker 2: knew it was starting when he got first got elected.
- 37:02Speaker 2: But quite frankly, it is a breath of fresh air
- 37:06Speaker 2: that people will now know who is in command and
- 37:10Speaker 2: who's running the show. Whether you like Joe or didn't
- 37:13Speaker 2: like Joe. The one thing that was very obvious was
- 37:15Speaker 2: we didn't know who was calling the shots. This time
- 37:18Speaker 2: you're gonna know, and we're again and you'll be able
- 37:22Speaker 2: to either agree or disagree and have somebody you can
- 37:24Speaker 2: point a finger at when you do or you don't.
- 37:26Speaker 2: But things are going to be a whole lot different
- 37:28Speaker 2: over the next four years.
- 37:29Speaker 1: Alex is there, and I gotta say this, is there
- 37:32Speaker 1: going to be an investigation to the electoral situation of
- 37:34Speaker 1: about twenty twenty, because now that's another thing that's going
- 37:37Speaker 1: to probably be highlighted in the question how this happened,
- 37:40Speaker 1: because when Biden says, oh, I could have beat him,
- 37:43Speaker 1: I wonder if he had connections that would have beat
- 37:45Speaker 1: him that Kamala didn't. I don't know. I'm just throwing
- 37:47Speaker 1: that out.
- 37:47Speaker 2: No, quite frankly, yes, you are correct. Now. You know
- 37:52Speaker 2: when Biden says I could have beat him, he has
- 37:57Speaker 2: there were the connections there. They do the same thing
- 37:59Speaker 2: they did last time. They're very adapt at election stealing
- 38:07Speaker 2: elections are making elections so that they're not secure. But
- 38:11Speaker 2: I will tell you this time. I would tell Joe,
- 38:14Speaker 2: if you were listening right now. It sounds good to
- 38:17Speaker 2: say you could have beaten them, But the American people
- 38:20Speaker 2: were so upset and so concerned with what things have
- 38:23Speaker 2: happened in the past and where we were headed. I'm
- 38:26Speaker 2: not so sure anybody could have stopped this tsunami that
- 38:29Speaker 2: was coming. But to answer your other question, yes, you know,
- 38:32Speaker 2: I thought it was interesting you had a number of
- 38:34Speaker 2: members on the Democratic side on the Senate who during
- 38:38Speaker 2: Pam's hearings kept trying to pin her down. We're going
- 38:41Speaker 2: to move forward now. We're not going to talk about
- 38:43Speaker 2: election integrity more correct. You noticed she wouldn't say. The
- 38:46Speaker 2: reason why she wouldn't say is because I can tell
- 38:48Speaker 2: you for a fact, we are going to move on
- 38:50Speaker 2: election integrity, because if we do not, we don't have
- 38:53Speaker 2: a country. Does it do any good during the swamp
- 38:56Speaker 2: if you haven't fixed how to make sure you keep
- 38:58Speaker 2: it clean? And there after.
- 39:01Speaker 1: Was just one even to this point, one illegal immigrants
- 39:05Speaker 1: that voted. One illegal immigrant voter. Let's say that example
- 39:07Speaker 1: one is more than enough right.
- 39:09Speaker 2: To perrect point.
- 39:13Speaker 1: All right, one last thing, because I think, like you're
- 39:14Speaker 1: a historian, like I am, what a better president to
- 39:18Speaker 1: run this country and to preside over the two hundred
- 39:20Speaker 1: and fifty birthday than President Trump. I truly believe that
- 39:23Speaker 1: was on the ticket in twenty twenty four, and now
- 39:26Speaker 1: I think we'll be able to truly enjoy the two
- 39:28Speaker 1: hundred fifty anniversary in a couple of years here next year.
- 39:30Speaker 2: Actually, I agree, and this is guiding back handle what
- 39:34Speaker 2: we're talking about the activities for today and tomorrow. My
- 39:37Speaker 2: recommendations that the president were very simple. You know. I
- 39:41Speaker 2: believe that we can hit the ground running and over
- 39:44Speaker 2: deliver on what we have, what has been being discussed,
- 39:48Speaker 2: and I believe in the two hundred and fifteenth anniversary
- 39:51Speaker 2: we can have a grand celebration to tie everything in.
- 39:55Speaker 2: More important to do that than it is to jeopardize
- 39:57Speaker 2: and your safety. Go to safety America people, and trying
- 40:01Speaker 2: to grandurize at an auguration. That time will come later.
- 40:06Speaker 1: On that note, What a way to end the show.
- 40:08Speaker 1: On that note, Michael, thank you so much for running
- 40:11Speaker 1: one leg up once again and really having one leg
- 40:13Speaker 1: up on inauguration security that's so important.
- 40:16Speaker 2: Tomorrow well, Thank you, Alex, Thank you for what you're doing.
- 40:20Speaker 2: Thank you. I am thankful that you are making such
- 40:23Speaker 2: a profound impact on my fellow citizens in New York
- 40:28Speaker 2: and God bless you, God Bless America. I look forward
- 40:31Speaker 2: to seeing you real soon.
- 40:33Speaker 1: God bless vest USA and yourself, Michael. And here's too,
- 40:37Speaker 1: bigger and better in twenty twenty five and beyond this.
- 40:39Speaker 1: As we turn the page here
- 40:43Speaker 2: Thank you you take care of God blessing, God Bless America.
