- 0:00Speaker 1: You're listening to the Mark Simone show.
- 0:04Speaker 2: W R.
- 0:11Speaker 1: Hey, it's Friday. It's less than two weeks the Christmas Day,
- 0:15Speaker 1: can you believe it? And uh, three weeks from today
- 0:19Speaker 1: it'll be the new year. It'll be the first full
- 0:23Speaker 1: day of the Mom Donnie administration. Three weeks from today.
- 0:28Speaker 1: All Right, calm down, it's gonna be like Deblasio. We
- 0:31Speaker 1: got through eight years of that. We'll get through a
- 0:34Speaker 1: couple of years of Mom Donnie and all right, it
- 0:39Speaker 1: wasn't great under Deblasio, but we got through it. We'll
- 0:42Speaker 1: get through this too. So hey, you know this guy Thompson.
- 0:46Speaker 1: We're talking about Democrats. They're just nuttier and nuttier and nuttier, crazier,
- 0:55Speaker 1: more far left. Every year, it's just they get worse
- 1:00Speaker 1: and worse. So they're having hearings yesterday in Congress and
- 1:05Speaker 1: christinoam is there to testify about deportation, about ice, Christy
- 1:09Speaker 1: Nome is testifying in the course. The Democrats with the
- 1:12Speaker 1: TV cameras on, they want to, you know, create some
- 1:15Speaker 1: viral moments, so they're yelling and screaming, you got this
- 1:18Speaker 1: crazy left wing. Dan Goldman from New York yelling at Christine.
- 1:22Speaker 2: Lass If you're Department of Courts. Anyone with an ongoing
- 1:27Speaker 2: asylum application, you are violating the law. Isn't that correct?
- 1:31Speaker 3: The asylum program was broken under the list.
- 1:34Speaker 2: Chairman, I will reclaim my time. She's not answering the question,
- 1:37Speaker 2: but the obvious answer is that yes, if you follow
- 1:42Speaker 2: a lawful pathway. Asylum is a lawful pathway. If you
- 1:46Speaker 2: have an open asylum case, you are here lawfully. But
- 1:51Speaker 2: the problem that we are seeing around the country is
- 1:55Speaker 2: that you are not following the law. Don't tell us
- 1:59Speaker 2: to change the law. If you don't like the asylum system,
- 2:02Speaker 2: you changed the asylum law.
- 2:04Speaker 1: This is the problem. He shouldn't allow cameras on these things.
- 2:07Speaker 1: Here's a guy just carrying on for just crazy theatrics
- 2:10Speaker 1: for the camera. He's a smart guy, Goldman, need to
- 2:13Speaker 1: me far left wing kook, but he's a smart guy.
- 2:15Speaker 1: But he's just carrying on for the camera. He has
- 2:18Speaker 1: no interest in her answer. He's not even listening to
- 2:20Speaker 1: her answer. In fact, he's as soon as she talks,
- 2:23Speaker 1: he's just waiting to jump in again and talk. And
- 2:25Speaker 1: he's yelling and screaming and huffing and puffing for the camera.
- 2:29Speaker 1: And he's going and you you carrying on because he
- 2:33Speaker 1: wants to be on the news. Seriously, they should not
- 2:37Speaker 1: allow cameras for these things. But you could also make
- 2:41Speaker 1: the case, you know what, you should have the cameras
- 2:43Speaker 1: there because some of these Democrats are so incredibly stupid
- 2:49Speaker 1: that you need to capture it on camera. Listen to
- 2:51Speaker 1: this Democrat, Congressman Thompson. This guy is just an IQ
- 2:58Speaker 1: of maybe maybe a I mean, he's just the dumbest
- 3:03Speaker 1: left wing Democrats. So he's going after Christy Nome and
- 3:07Speaker 1: he gets to the terrible assassination of two National Guard
- 3:12Speaker 1: troops in Washington, d C. This Muslim terrorist shoots two
- 3:19Speaker 1: National Guards and one is a woman, kills her, shoots
- 3:23Speaker 1: her in the head. Listen to this Thompson discussed the
- 3:25Speaker 1: incident with Christy Noman. Listen to his you won't believe
- 3:29Speaker 1: the words he.
- 3:29Speaker 4: Uses amount of secretary of you and the gentleman from
- 3:32Speaker 4: ct N CTC reference the unfortunate accident that occurred with
- 3:41Speaker 4: the National guardsman being.
- 3:43Speaker 3: Keel You think that was an unfortunate accident, I mean
- 3:46Speaker 3: it's a terrorist.
- 3:47Speaker 1: Wait wait, look, I'll get it straight.
- 3:49Speaker 3: And then you can shot our National guardsman in the head.
- 3:52Speaker 4: Look was Sam, will you direct the witness to allow
- 3:57Speaker 4: me to ask my question? It was an unfortunate situation.
- 4:04Speaker 1: It's hard to believe a guy this dumb has any
- 4:06Speaker 1: kind of a job. But how the hell is a
- 4:09Speaker 1: guy this dumb a congressman. Listen to it again and
- 4:13Speaker 1: now it's Christine Noman. It takes her a second to
- 4:15Speaker 1: even process what he said that you can't believe he
- 4:18Speaker 1: setting in this dumb it's a Muslim terrorist assassinating a
- 4:23Speaker 1: National guardswoman.
- 4:24Speaker 4: Mauntim secretary of you and a gentleman from ct in
- 4:28Speaker 4: CTC reference the unfortunate accident that occurred with the National guardsman.
- 4:37Speaker 3: Ko you think that was an unfortunate accident.
- 4:40Speaker 4: I mean it's a terrorist. Wait wait, look, I'll get
- 4:43Speaker 4: it straight.
- 4:44Speaker 3: Then you can shot our National guardsman in the head.
- 4:46Speaker 4: Looks, Sam, will you direct witness to allow me to
- 4:52Speaker 4: ask my question?
- 4:54Speaker 1: It's an unbelievable here's the founding father's coming back to
- 4:57Speaker 1: life and finding out this this ins is an actual cause.
- 5:02Speaker 1: Oh I'm laughing. It's not funny. Mike Johnson.
- 5:04Speaker 3: I'm very privileged in honor today to have my family
- 5:07Speaker 3: with me.
- 5:08Speaker 1: I like, oh, this is this is Christy notman as
- 5:12Speaker 1: she's testifying, and of course you have a nut job
- 5:17Speaker 1: or two have got into the chamber and they're gonna approach.
- 5:19Speaker 1: This is why they shouldn't allow these cameras in there.
- 5:21Speaker 3: Actually, I'm very privileged in honor today to have my
- 5:24Speaker 3: family with me. I'd like to introduce them to you.
- 5:29Speaker 2: A deportations disruptions of congressional business is a violation of law.
- 5:33Speaker 4: It's a criminal offense under federal law.
- 5:36Speaker 5: Audience members are advised to take their seats and maintain order.
- 5:41Speaker 1: Of course, we'll get a desk appearance ticket and that's
- 5:43Speaker 1: it and it's over with. It's not like January sixth,
- 5:46Speaker 1: where if this were the Democrats, they would put this
- 5:49Speaker 1: guy in solitary confinement convictim for twenty years. He basically
- 5:53Speaker 1: did what everybody on January sixth did. But in this case,
- 5:56Speaker 1: it'll be a desk appearance ticket. What does Curtis call
- 5:59Speaker 1: that appearance ticket? You don't even have to answer it.
- 6:02Speaker 1: So you get these lunatics and then I take the
- 6:05Speaker 1: governor of Illinois. Problem is you get these really raging
- 6:09Speaker 1: lunatics in office, and then the otherwise smart people start
- 6:14Speaker 1: behaving them like that. You know, Pritzker, who's a billionaire
- 6:18Speaker 1: of businessman, has to act like a nut to be
- 6:21Speaker 1: a successful Democrat. So he's fighting Ice. They're trying to
- 6:24Speaker 1: come in and get illegal criminals and gang members off
- 6:28Speaker 1: the street. He's trying to block it. He's trying to
- 6:30Speaker 1: stop it.
- 6:31Speaker 6: The Chicago region has been subjected to a relentless campaign
- 6:35Speaker 6: of cruelty and intimidation and abuse at the hands of
- 6:40Speaker 6: ICE and Border Patrol agents. Together, we're sending a message
- 6:44Speaker 6: to Donald Trump, to Christy Gnome, to Gregory Bavino and
- 6:48Speaker 6: anyone else seeking to terrorize our people. Your divisiveness and
- 6:53Speaker 6: your brutality are not welcome here.
- 6:56Speaker 1: Yeah, the message is you leave our criminals alone, leave
- 6:59Speaker 1: our gang members there. Of course Holman has to respond
- 7:02Speaker 1: talk about terrorizing.
- 7:03Speaker 7: Why don't he talk to the victims of illegal crime.
- 7:07Speaker 1: Won't he do?
- 7:08Speaker 7: I've done and talk to the angel moms and dad
- 7:11Speaker 7: who buried their children because they were killed by someone's
- 7:14Speaker 7: not supposed to be here. While he talked to you know,
- 7:17Speaker 7: called the ICE office and talk to people that are
- 7:19Speaker 7: involved with voice victims of immigration crime, and here are
- 7:22Speaker 7: their stories. They're the ones that are terrorized.
- 7:26Speaker 1: Like Tom Holman, but give up. You can't explain it.
- 7:28Speaker 1: You can't explain anything to these lunatics. They don't want
- 7:32Speaker 1: to hear it. Here's another guy, I Q eighty five.
- 7:36Speaker 1: Maybe this is a congressman. He's going to impeach Pete Hexath.
- 7:43Speaker 1: Listen to this guy.
- 7:44Speaker 8: I introduced articles to impeach Secretary Pete Hexath for murder
- 7:51Speaker 8: and conspiracy to murder and reckless and unlawful mishandling of
- 7:57Speaker 8: classified information exaction are not just reprehensible, but illegal as well.
- 8:04Speaker 1: I know you're saying, what an idiot, what the hell?
- 8:07Speaker 1: Why is? It's not going to go anywhere, you know,
- 8:09Speaker 1: don't get yourself the Sky'll get on the view, he'll
- 8:11Speaker 1: get on MS whatever they call it, he'll get on CNN. Hey,
- 8:16Speaker 1: some bad news. They tried once again to indict Letitia James.
- 8:21Speaker 1: It went before a grand jury, this time in Alexandria, Virginia.
- 8:25Speaker 1: The grand jury refused to indict. That's tough and a
- 8:29Speaker 1: second time. Second time a grand jury didn't indict. Usually
- 8:33Speaker 1: pretty easy to get a grand jury to go along.
- 8:35Speaker 1: So this is not looking good here. First you had
- 8:38Speaker 1: a judge. Now you could say, well, they'll bring it again.
- 8:42Speaker 1: Hopefully they will, but you got to be careful. You know,
- 8:45Speaker 1: you do this too many times. It looks like you're
- 8:47Speaker 1: grand jury shopping. And even the CNN guy here as
- 8:50Speaker 1: a point.
- 8:51Speaker 2: This is over.
- 8:53Speaker 5: We have never I can point to no case in
- 8:56Speaker 5: the last twenty years where you've had a case thrown
- 8:58Speaker 5: out by a judge and then you had a grand
- 9:00Speaker 5: jury refused to indict it, which is very hard to do.
- 9:03Speaker 5: Then you had a second grand jury a week later
- 9:06Speaker 5: refused to re reindict it.
- 9:08Speaker 1: Yeah, but if you look at all the stuff she's done,
- 9:11Speaker 1: you could tell this is one sleazy woman. They'll find something,
- 9:15Speaker 1: they'll they'll get her on something before they're done. Hey,
- 9:18Speaker 1: remember a George Soros is a company bought a lot
- 9:23Speaker 1: of radio groups and radio stations and radio companies. It
- 9:27Speaker 1: was a couple of years ago. They got FCC approval.
- 9:29Speaker 1: It was Biden at the time. So the Soros Fund
- 9:33Speaker 1: owns a lot of radio. Everybody worried, well they try
- 9:36Speaker 1: to tamper with conservative radio. That kind of swell. They
- 9:39Speaker 1: bought a lot of AM stations. They just shut one
- 9:42Speaker 1: of them down. It's in Miami. It's a Spanish station,
- 9:46Speaker 1: but it's a conservative Spanish station. It's conservative stuff for
- 9:50Speaker 1: the Spanish community in Miami. The Soros group just shut
- 9:54Speaker 1: it down, just took it off the air, claiming for
- 9:58Speaker 1: financial reasons. They took it. Well, very important voice in
- 10:02Speaker 1: the Miami Spanish community, a conservative voice, though, so they
- 10:06Speaker 1: just shut it down. It's gone, as I said, Mom, Donnie, Uh,
- 10:11Speaker 1: two weeks, three weeks from yesterday. Takes office. Three weeks
- 10:17Speaker 1: from yesterday, Mom, Donnie takes office, they'll have the inauguration.
- 10:20Speaker 1: It looks like Adams is not going to go. He's
- 10:23Speaker 1: making quite a stink about not going. Says he hasn't decided,
- 10:26Speaker 1: but it sounds like he's not going. That's unusual. There's
- 10:29Speaker 1: always always always the previous mayor there. That'll be unusual.
- 10:33Speaker 1: He'll be sworn in. I guess that night he goes
- 10:35Speaker 1: to Gracie Mansion to stay there for the first night.
- 10:38Speaker 1: He's the youngest mayor ever. He also, you know, he
- 10:42Speaker 1: has no kids. I'm trying to think, oh, ed Kotch,
- 10:47Speaker 1: but him, I guess ed Coach was the only other
- 10:49Speaker 1: mayor that didn't have kids. If we ever had a
- 10:52Speaker 1: mayor with no children ed Cotch, Uh, Mom, Donnie, I
- 10:56Speaker 1: think that, But you know, Mom, Donnie hasn't been married
- 10:58Speaker 1: very long. He just got married. Beinning of the Year,
- 11:01Speaker 1: February he got married. Yeah, he's only been married like
- 11:04Speaker 1: ten months to this seemingly a nice woman. And he's
- 11:07Speaker 1: got to be nuts. He's married to Mom Donnie. But
- 11:10Speaker 1: they met on the dating app Hinge. Hinge is a
- 11:13Speaker 1: very good app. And I notice, you know, normally if
- 11:18Speaker 1: you're a dating app, you do some advertising promote yourself.
- 11:26Speaker 1: That's a pretty good coup. Hey, you the mayor of
- 11:28Speaker 1: New York met his wife on Hinge. I noticed they're
- 11:30Speaker 1: not using it for any kind of advertise. I guess
- 11:32Speaker 1: they don't even they don't want to be tied to
- 11:35Speaker 1: Mom Donnie. Hey, it's Frank Sinatra's one hundred and tenth
- 11:39Speaker 1: birthday today. It's a big day. December twelfth, the birthday
- 11:43Speaker 1: of Frank Sinatra. He was the greatest singer ever in
- 11:45Speaker 1: the history of music, the biggest star of the twentieth century.
- 11:51Speaker 1: You don't realize how big this guy was and how long.
- 11:54Speaker 1: You know, you could be really big for ten years,
- 11:57Speaker 1: twenty years.
- 11:58Speaker 2: You know.
- 11:58Speaker 1: You look at the Beatles, you know they were really
- 12:00Speaker 1: only there. I mean they came to America in sixty four,
- 12:05Speaker 1: but they broke up in nineteen seventies, so it was
- 12:07Speaker 1: really six years. It was really sixty two because they
- 12:11Speaker 1: were very big in Europe first, but that's eight years.
- 12:14Speaker 1: So that was it. You know, Sinatra was like on
- 12:17Speaker 1: top of the world, performing all over the world for
- 12:21Speaker 1: decades and decades. You know, when he started, Herbert Hoover
- 12:25Speaker 1: was president and when he stopped, Bill Clinton was president.
- 12:31Speaker 1: That's a long long run of being on top. He
- 12:34Speaker 1: was very good at evolving, at changing himself. There were
- 12:38Speaker 1: different Sinatras every decade. He was the boys singer with
- 12:41Speaker 1: the bow tie Little Frankie in the forties, then he
- 12:44Speaker 1: came back in the fifties as the older nightclub pal
- 12:48Speaker 1: Joey singer. And then in the sixties he was the
- 12:50Speaker 1: rat pack Las Vegas guy, and then you know, that
- 12:53Speaker 1: didn't work out, and that was huge. But then in
- 12:56Speaker 1: the seventies it wasn't working so he switched and he
- 13:00Speaker 1: he did what a lot of these singers have to realize.
- 13:03Speaker 1: Billy Joel figured it out, McCartney figured it out. He
- 13:06Speaker 1: got to stop trying to be the contemporary churning out
- 13:09Speaker 1: top forty hits kind of a guy and switch as
- 13:12Speaker 1: you get older and become the elder Statesman, where all
- 13:15Speaker 1: you do is just travel the world doing these big,
- 13:18Speaker 1: grand concerts, these big events the Elder states and doing concerts,
- 13:23Speaker 1: and that's it. And that's what he did for the
- 13:25Speaker 1: last twenty years very successfully. Sinatra was you know, he
- 13:29Speaker 1: lived in California, but he also really more than half
- 13:32Speaker 1: the time he lived in New York, right over there
- 13:35Speaker 1: of the Waldorf Apartment thirty three A. How's that for
- 13:38Speaker 1: a memory. But he loved New York. He was out
- 13:41Speaker 1: all night. Wherever he was in the world, he'd be
- 13:43Speaker 1: out all night. In fact, when Sinatra would invite you
- 13:46Speaker 1: to dinner, you'd bring sunglasses because it might be noon
- 13:51Speaker 1: by the time you got home. It would just go
- 13:53Speaker 1: all night long. Dinner was huge. It was always thirty people,
- 13:58Speaker 1: forty people. Sometimes I'd see a guy and he'd be
- 14:02Speaker 1: all excited. Frank invited me to dinner tonight, and the
- 14:06Speaker 1: guy was so thrilled. I didn't have the heart to
- 14:08Speaker 1: tell him, dinner's forty people. You're gonna be like fourteen
- 14:11Speaker 1: seats away. And that guy would say, I was thinking
- 14:15Speaker 1: about what I want to talk about with him, and
- 14:17Speaker 1: I didn't have the heart to tell him, you're not
- 14:18Speaker 1: going to get a word in all night. He's going
- 14:20Speaker 1: to talk NonStop. You won't get to say anything. But
- 14:22Speaker 1: it was always fun. It was always incredible, and he
- 14:28Speaker 1: was an incredible tipper. You know. He would this that
- 14:31Speaker 1: famous story. He was leaving the place and he gave
- 14:33Speaker 1: the doorman. He said to the doorman, what's the biggest
- 14:35Speaker 1: tip you ever got? And the doorman said one hundred dollars.
- 14:39Speaker 1: That was a fortune back then. So Sinatra said one
- 14:41Speaker 1: hundred dollars, here's two hundred. Door man couldn't believe it.
- 14:45Speaker 1: And a Sinatra's leaving, he turned around, he says, hey,
- 14:48Speaker 1: who gave you the hundred? He goes you did a
- 14:50Speaker 1: few months ago. So he had to keep topping his
- 14:53Speaker 1: own record. But he was just an unbelievable guy, the
- 14:57Speaker 1: most generous guy in the world. All these great you
- 15:00Speaker 1: know there was. He had beautiful art all over his house, beautiful, incredible,
- 15:06Speaker 1: very expensive paintings and everything. There was the violinist Eleanor Slotkin,
- 15:10Speaker 1: who played on a lot of his records, Eleanor Slatkin,
- 15:14Speaker 1: and he saw her in the house at a party.
- 15:16Speaker 1: She'd come to a big dinner party she was staring
- 15:18Speaker 1: at one painting and he said, you like that? She said,
- 15:21Speaker 1: oh what, I love that painting. So anyway, they went
- 15:24Speaker 1: into the dinner and all that, and hours later she's
- 15:26Speaker 1: leaving and gets into her car and there's the painting
- 15:31Speaker 1: wrapped up in the back seat of her car. That's
- 15:34Speaker 1: the way. He was just very, very generous and incredible guy.
- 15:39Speaker 1: You know, if you haven't done it in a while,
- 15:42Speaker 1: go back and start listening to Sinatra music. I'm sure
- 15:45Speaker 1: you do now and then, but seriously listen to it.
- 15:47Speaker 1: Go go on wherever you get your music, and just
- 15:49Speaker 1: listen to we small hours of the morning. Go listen
- 15:51Speaker 1: to the whole album or only the Lonely or any
- 15:54Speaker 1: of those. We'll take some calls. Next eight. We'll talk
- 15:57Speaker 1: to the world's greatest polster in a few moments, see
- 15:59Speaker 1: where Trump really stands and what the real issues are,
- 16:02Speaker 1: and we'll take some calls. Next eight hundred three two
- 16:05Speaker 1: one zero seven ten is the number. Eight hundred three
- 16:08Speaker 1: two one zero seven ten.
