- 0:01Sean McAllister: It is episode 309 of Vegas Revealed.
- 0:04Sean McAllister: And did you know Nevada has an official state drink?
- 0:09Sean McAllister: We sip up the details coming up.
- 0:11Dayna Roselli: There's a free afternoon show at Hera's in the piano bar that packs them in.
- 0:15Dayna Roselli: We chat with Big Elvis.
- 0:17Sean McAllister: We also have pool news.
- 0:19Sean McAllister: Yes, it is inching closer to swim season.
- 0:22Sean McAllister: And that means it's time to party or relax.
- 0:25Dayna Roselli: All this and more coming up on Vegas Revealed.
- 0:30Dayna Roselli: Welcome to Vegas Revealed, episode 309.
- 0:33Dayna Roselli: Dana Roselli and Sean McAllister here.
- 0:35Dayna Roselli: And we've been telling you for the last two episodes that we're going to tell you about the state drink in Nevada.
- 0:39Dayna Roselli: So we want to do it right off the top so we don't forget.
- 0:42Sean McAllister: We do.
- 0:42Sean McAllister: Although earlier we had mentioned that we may need to run out and get a martini in the middle of our workday and then come back.
- 0:51Sean McAllister: We didn't end up doing it, but all the talk about the state drink got me thinking, hmm, I wonder which state is lucky enough to have a martini as their state beverage.
- 1:01Dayna Roselli: Well, I do have the list up on Wikipedia.
- 1:03Dayna Roselli: Would you like me to find it?
- 1:04Sean McAllister: Ooh, I would.
- 1:05Sean McAllister: I'm really curious of which state like might have originated the martini or might drink them the most.
- 1:12Dayna Roselli: Yeah, well, a lot of the lists actually, a lot of states state, uh, state drink, it's not alcoholic.
- 1:20Dayna Roselli: We just happen to have alcohol in ours.
- 1:23Sean McAllister: See, I I immediately go to the alcoholic adult beverages.
- 1:28Dayna Roselli: Well, they're a lemonade in Arizona.
- 1:30Sean McAllister: Oh, well that fits.
- 1:32Dayna Roselli: Uh milk.
- 1:33Dayna Roselli: A lot of states have milk as their state drink.
- 1:37Dayna Roselli: Um, and then some of them have like in parentheses, like they also have a state cocktail.
- 1:42Dayna Roselli: Oh like the orange crush in Delaware is a state cocktail.
- 1:46Dayna Roselli: The rye whiskey in Maryland, state spirit.
- 1:50Dayna Roselli: They also have a state cocktail, the orange crush.
- 1:52Dayna Roselli: So it's big over there in the east.
- 1:54Sean McAllister: I would like to try that orange crush.
- 1:56Dayna Roselli: Yeah.
- 1:56Dayna Roselli: Kool-Aid is a state drink in Nebraska.
- 1:59Dayna Roselli: Really?
- 2:00Dayna Roselli: Yep.
- 2:00Dayna Roselli: And uh milk is their state beverage.
- 2:03Dayna Roselli: No, but I'm just glancing.
- 2:04Dayna Roselli: Uh cranberry juice in New Jersey is a state juice.
- 2:07Dayna Roselli: So they all have like, not everyone has like I think it's whatever you declare.
- 2:12Sean McAllister: Right.
- 2:12Dayna Roselli: Um, but milk is like all really across the board.
- 2:15Dayna Roselli: Uh in Virginia, George Washington's rye whiskey.
- 2:19Dayna Roselli: Washington State, this makes sense.
- 2:20Dayna Roselli: What do you think it is?
- 2:22Sean McAllister: In Washington State?
- 2:24Sean McAllister: Yep.
- 2:25Sean McAllister: Uh I don't know, some kind of beer?
- 2:28Dayna Roselli: Nope.
- 2:29Dayna Roselli: Seattle is big in Washington State.
- 2:31Dayna Roselli: Oh, coffee.
- 2:32Dayna Roselli: Yes.
- 2:33Dayna Roselli: Coffee duh.
- 2:34Dayna Roselli: Coffee.
- 2:35Dayna Roselli: In Wisconsin, the brandy old fashioned.
- 2:38Dayna Roselli: All right, let's get to Nevada though.
- 2:40Dayna Roselli: Here's the deal.
- 2:41Dayna Roselli: We found out in 2025 that we officially have a state drink and it has alcohol in it.
- 2:46Sean McAllister: It is.
- 2:47Sean McAllister: And it's called pecan punch.
- 2:49Sean McAllister: And it's not pecan like the pecan nut.
- 2:53Sean McAllister: It is pecan spelled P-I-C-O-N.
- 2:57Sean McAllister: Pecan.
- 2:57Sean McAllister: It's probably there needs to be like some kind of a special pronunciation in there, pecan or probably more like that.
- 3:04Sean McAllister: Pecan punch.
- 3:06Dayna Roselli: Well, apparently it's made with this amer pecan, which is a French bitter orange liqueur.
- 3:12Dayna Roselli: So that's why where the pecan comes from.
- 3:14Dayna Roselli: Okay.
- 3:15Dayna Roselli: Um, because I just clicked on the little highlighted thing to learn more.
- 3:18Dayna Roselli: Um, but and it's, you know, it's a apparently a strong bittersweet cocktail with Basque American roots.
- 3:24Dayna Roselli: And Basque is very popular in northern Nevada.
- 3:28Sean McAllister: It yes, there is a big Basque community um kind of right outside of the Lake Tahoe area and some other parts of uh northern Nevada as well.
- 3:40Sean McAllister: One of our friends uh comes from a family in northern Nevada and they are Basque.
- 3:45Sean McAllister: And as a matter of fact, at uh at his wedding that was in Lake Tahoe, they had Basque performers.
- 3:50Dayna Roselli: Yes, they did.
- 3:51Dayna Roselli: That was fun.
- 3:52Dayna Roselli: And when we went up for a work job, we passed a lot of Basque restaurants.
- 3:56Sean McAllister: We did.
- 3:56Dayna Roselli: And I asked you, like, what is the deal?
- 3:58Dayna Roselli: What is this?
- 3:58Dayna Roselli: And I didn't realize there was a huge population of people with who are Basque, Basque roots and sipping on pecan punch.
- 4:06Dayna Roselli: Pecan punch.
- 4:07Dayna Roselli: Okay, so uh June 9th, it was officially declared.
- 4:10Dayna Roselli: This, I'm gonna read you the little caption, this spirit forward bittersweet cocktail is deeply rooted in the Basque immigrant history.
- 4:18Dayna Roselli: It's typically made with this Tirani Amer, which is that pecan, uh grenadine and soda water.
- 4:27Dayna Roselli: So the, and I I might be saying the A-M-E-R part wrong, amyr.
- 4:31Dayna Roselli: Um, but that's the orange-ish liqueur.
- 4:33Dayna Roselli: So you've got an orangish liqueur with a little grenadine, some soda water, a brandy float, and a lemon twist.
- 4:40Sean McAllister: There we go.
- 4:41Dayna Roselli: That sounds good.
- 4:42Sean McAllister: I mean, I'm ready to.
- 4:44Sean McAllister: You know what?
- 4:45Sean McAllister: I am officially ready today to ditch the martini and go for a pecan punch.
- 4:51Dayna Roselli: Okay.
- 4:52Dayna Roselli: Yeah, that's a lot for me.
- 4:53Dayna Roselli: I can probably only do that once a year.
- 4:57Dayna Roselli: Sounds great.
- 4:58Sean McAllister: Well, maybe on June 9th, every year, we can celebrate that pecan punch has become Nevada's official drink.
- 5:07Dayna Roselli: Right.
- 5:07Dayna Roselli: And the reason we found out about this is we were speaking to the head of Travel Nevada, and he was very excited to tell us about this.
- 5:13Dayna Roselli: He was.
- 5:13Dayna Roselli: Um, we interviewed him in a past episode, but um, I know.
- 5:17Dayna Roselli: So anyway, in case you were wondering, pecan punch is the state of Nevada's drink.
- 5:22Dayna Roselli: So not a lot of other states have alcohol beverages designated, but we do.
- 5:26Sean McAllister: Well, it makes sense.
- 5:28Sean McAllister: Makes sense for us here in Nevada.
- 5:30Sean McAllister: Just gonna say it.
- 5:31Dayna Roselli: A lot of milk.
- 5:32Dayna Roselli: I don't know about this.
- 5:33Dayna Roselli: Well, I feel like Indiana has water as their state beverage.
- 5:37Sean McAllister: Water.
- 5:38Dayna Roselli: Yeah.
- 5:38Dayna Roselli: Florida has orange juice.
- 5:39Dayna Roselli: Okay, that makes sense.
- 5:40Sean McAllister: That makes sense.
- 5:41Sean McAllister: I feel like milk was probably designated by a whole bunch of dairy councils.
- 5:46Dayna Roselli: Yeah.
- 5:47Sean McAllister: Just to try and get people to drink more milk.
- 5:50Sean McAllister: Do people drink as much milk?
- 5:51Sean McAllister: This is completely unrelated to anything uh Las Vegas, but do you think people drink as much milk as we did when we were kids?
- 5:59Dayna Roselli: I think they do, maybe even more because people are doing these smoothies and in coffees, but I think they're doing different kinds of milk.
- 6:06Dayna Roselli: They're not doing like the good old milk.
- 6:08Sean McAllister: Yeah.
- 6:09Dayna Roselli: They're doing oat milk and almond milk and soy milk and all those kinds of milks.
- 6:14Dayna Roselli: Cashew milk.
- 6:15Sean McAllister: Yeah, that's true.
- 6:16Sean McAllister: You know, the specialty milks.
- 6:18Dayna Roselli: So not necessarily like milk milk.
- 6:20Sean McAllister: Moo juice.
- 6:21Dayna Roselli: Yeah, I don't think so.
- 6:23Dayna Roselli: But um, I don't know, Indiana.
- 6:27Dayna Roselli: Water?
- 6:27Dayna Roselli: Water?
- 6:28Sean McAllister: That's just a necessity for life.
- 6:31Dayna Roselli: Alabama has the Clyde maize whiskey.
- 6:34Sean McAllister: Official inhalant being oxygen.
- 6:36Dayna Roselli: Yeah, I know.
- 6:38Dayna Roselli: So anyway, there you have it.
- 6:39Dayna Roselli: Okay, good to know it's out and uh celebrate the pecan punch.
- 6:43Dayna Roselli: June 9th.
- 6:44Sean McAllister: Spread the good word.
- 6:45Sean McAllister: You can impress someone with that knowledge tomorrow.
- 6:48Dayna Roselli: For sure.
- 6:49Dayna Roselli: Um, hey, just wanted to mention I stopped at Happy Camper um because we've talked about it in the past.
- 6:53Dayna Roselli: It's a restaurant right outside of the fashion show on the corner of Las Vegas Boulevard, right across from the win.
- 7:00Dayna Roselli: And we always talk about it, how it looks so fun and active and it's like all open air, but like a few times I've gone, it's been too hot to kind of sit outside at the moment.
- 7:10Dayna Roselli: I wasn't into it.
- 7:11Dayna Roselli: Um, so I finally went, and let me tell you, Sean, I went on a Saturday afternoon.
- 7:15Dayna Roselli: It was, first of all, it's a huge, huge restaurant.
- 7:17Dayna Roselli: It's packed.
- 7:18Dayna Roselli: I'm talking every seat taken, people in booths, food going, games on, um, people playing games.
- 7:25Dayna Roselli: It was a really, really fun vibe.
- 7:26Dayna Roselli: And I thought, you know, since it is kind of attached to the fashion show mall, maybe you don't know it's there if you're in town visiting because you're thinking I'm gonna hop around to hotel casinos, but this could be a spot for you to go.
- 7:37Sean McAllister: And it is a really fun spot.
- 7:38Sean McAllister: Last time I was in there, it was just before uh well, it was probably uh about uh a year-ish ago, less than that, but it was before football season was really going to kick into high gear.
- 7:55Sean McAllister: And we were just asking about football specials and what it's like on game days.
- 7:59Sean McAllister: And the the server, she was like, Oh my gosh, get here, definitely do a game day because it gets first of all, it gets packed, but it's so much fun because you have so many people cheering for their team, and any anytime anything crazy happens, it just erupts in there.
- 8:17Sean McAllister: But there's people playing like beer pong, there's beer pong tables set up, there's disco balls all over the ceiling.
- 8:24Sean McAllister: Um, it's just a really uh fun environment, and they uh have uh brunch on weekends too.
- 8:32Dayna Roselli: Oh, okay, yeah.
- 8:33Dayna Roselli: And it's attached to the Mexican restaurant that's there, so you can actually go over there to use the restaurants.
- 8:39Dayna Roselli: I noticed on my bill it said the name of that restaurant, so they're like affiliated somehow or partnered or whatever.
- 8:44Dayna Roselli: Yeah.
- 8:45Dayna Roselli: But Happy Camper's kind of the outdoor part.
- 8:47Dayna Roselli: There were a few heater, because it wasn't like it was one of those days where it was in the low 60s where it was warm in the sun.
- 8:53Sean McAllister: But in the shade, it was chilly, right?
- 8:55Dayna Roselli: So they had some heaters, but it was packed, and like you said, I can imagine watching a game there would be so fun.
- 9:00Dayna Roselli: Cheering and all that.
- 9:02Dayna Roselli: Um, a lot of cuties there, too, by the way.
- 9:04Sean McAllister: All right.
- 9:05Dayna Roselli: Ladies and and gents, if you want to go maybe browse for a significant other, might be your place.
- 9:13Dayna Roselli: Get off the apps and actually see people in person.
- 9:15Sean McAllister: Peruse the inventory.
- 9:18Dayna Roselli: Oh my gosh.
- 9:20Sean McAllister: And maybe you'll become a happy camper.
- 9:21Dayna Roselli: Maybe, yes.
- 9:22Dayna Roselli: That's what it's all about.
- 9:23Dayna Roselli: Become a happy camper.
- 9:25Dayna Roselli: I like that.
- 9:26Dayna Roselli: Um, hey, we went over to see Big Elvis, and we did this great story in our TV show.
- 9:32Dayna Roselli: You can watch it on YouTube if you want to see it.
- 9:34Dayna Roselli: I don't know if you know who Big Elvis is, but most people do.
- 9:36Dayna Roselli: He's been around in Las Vegas performing for a very long time.
- 9:40Dayna Roselli: And he's still doing shows at Hera's, and they're free.
- 9:43Sean McAllister: They are.
- 9:44Sean McAllister: So he's doing afternoon shows.
- 9:46Sean McAllister: Pete Valley is uh Big Elvis' real name, but he's been known as Big Elvis for decades here in Las Vegas.
- 9:54Sean McAllister: Uh afternoon shows inside the piano bar over at Hara's, and that's just steps inside the casino from the Carnival Court area that's just steps outside.
- 10:06Sean McAllister: So that's a vibrant, lively area.
- 10:10Sean McAllister: And let me tell you, when Big Elvis starts singing, he brings people in.
- 10:16Dayna Roselli: It was packed.
- 10:17Dayna Roselli: It really was.
- 10:18Dayna Roselli: So we went over to chat with him and see it for our own eyes.
- 10:30Dayna Roselli: I just love that you have a free show for everyone here in Harris.
- 10:34Dayna Roselli: You loving it?
- 10:35SPEAKER_01: I'm loving every minute of it.
- 10:37SPEAKER_01: It's it's always a great thing to see all these people from all over the world, and then they like to just come in and have a good time.
- 10:44Dayna Roselli: Come every year.
- 10:45SPEAKER_01: We live near Chicago Illinois because we love him so much and his music.
- 10:50SPEAKER_01: We were here like in 2008 and saw him performing.
- 10:53SPEAKER_01: I just couldn't wait to get back, but just took me a while.
- 11:01SPEAKER_01: It is infectious.
- 11:03SPEAKER_01: Because if you're having a good time, people can sense that in a music's fun and there's in a jump in the gonna pull people and that's what happens when they have a really good time and they keep coming back.
- 11:16SPEAKER_01: Year after year after year.
- 11:53SPEAKER_01: So many people don't ever have that kind of money.
- 11:55SPEAKER_01: I mean, very many people get to work.
- 11:58SPEAKER_01: So it's been a blessing.
- 12:00SPEAKER_01: You know, my signatures are big enough, so they get a lot of numbers, too, but they get a lot of other songs, and they get to participate in the songs, uh people are always dancing and they're getting and they're having a good time, and uh that's what it's about.
- 12:17SPEAKER_01: It gets everybody behind us walking through here going, what is going on?
- 12:21Dayna Roselli: And when we were chatting, I said to you, are you still loving it?
- 12:24Dayna Roselli: And you said, Of course I do, but it's really about the people.
- 12:27Dayna Roselli: You enjoy that.
- 12:28SPEAKER_01: It is.
- 12:28SPEAKER_01: When you touch people's lives and you feel that you're you're making a difference in today, especially in today's world where you see people smile, even if it's just for a little while, it's a good thing.
- 12:44Dayna Roselli: When can we catch your show?
- 12:46Dayna Roselli: So you're here three days a week?
- 12:47SPEAKER_01: I am.
- 12:47SPEAKER_01: I'm here uh every Friday, Saturday, and Monday, 2, 3:30 and 5 p.m.
- 13:04Dayna Roselli: I can so I can die.
- 13:07Dayna Roselli: And what you can't see in that audio segment that you just listened to uh is really the dance floor was full.
- 13:15Dayna Roselli: People were slow dancing, celebrating anniversaries, birthdays.
- 13:19Dayna Roselli: Oh my gosh.
- 13:20Dayna Roselli: It was very heartwarming to see people just enjoying the afternoon in Vegas, listening to music.
- 13:26Dayna Roselli: It was great.
- 13:27Sean McAllister: And you know what there was not a lot of was uh phones up recording the whole time.
- 13:34Sean McAllister: The the fans who really international fans who come to Las Vegas just to see Big Elvis, uh they are there to be present and just have a good time with Pete.
- 13:48Sean McAllister: And it was great.
- 13:49Sean McAllister: Another thing that you can't see uh in the interview you just heard, but you can see if you go to our Vegas Revealed YouTube channel, there were people stacked four deep on the casino side of the piano bar because it's kind of like open windows into the piano bar.
- 14:08Sean McAllister: There were people four deep standing there watching because that's how full the piano bar got.
- 14:15Dayna Roselli: Yeah.
- 14:15Sean McAllister: So it was, I mean, Big Elvis is definitely an attraction.
- 14:21Dayna Roselli: I know.
- 14:21Sean McAllister: He's a people magnet.
- 14:23Dayna Roselli: They do have a little area.
- 14:24Dayna Roselli: If you want to leave a tip, they have song requests too, but it's free.
- 14:27Dayna Roselli: And you heard him how many times I mean it's great because he does it like all in a row.
- 14:32Dayna Roselli: Um, what is it, 230 and hold on, hold on, hold on.
- 14:36Dayna Roselli: 230, 330, and 5.
- 14:38Dayna Roselli: So it's a great spot, and like you said, with the open air, love it.
- 14:41Dayna Roselli: And we love to because people say you know, Vegas used to be full of free shows.
- 14:45Dayna Roselli: There used to be people in the lounge, and it then they are harder and harder to find.
- 14:48Dayna Roselli: But Big Elvis might be your answer.
- 14:50Sean McAllister: Absolutely.
- 14:52Sean McAllister: Hey, let's talk about pool season because believe it or not, it is uh just about here.
- 14:57Sean McAllister: If you're on the east coast uh right now, especially in the northeast, it definitely does not feel like spring, and you're probably, you know, still digging out the front sidewalk, and nothing about that screams spring.
- 15:11Sean McAllister: However, here in Vegas, pools are opening, and we have a returning concert series at the Durango Pool.
- 15:22Dayna Roselli: Yeah, and it's what what's great is this pool season we're gonna talk about.
- 15:25Dayna Roselli: We've got the variety of things we're gonna we're gonna talk about concerts, we're gonna talk about cabanas, we're gonna talk about locals programs, uh, we're gonna talk about something new.
- 15:33Dayna Roselli: So, yeah, it's gonna be 85 degrees on Saturday here in Las Vegas.
- 15:36Sean McAllister: I can't wait.
- 15:37Dayna Roselli: So it's gonna be awesome.
- 15:38Dayna Roselli: Our pool at my building has been open all year round.
- 15:41Dayna Roselli: Some take a break because they don't heat them.
- 15:44Dayna Roselli: Oh, they open the area, you know, because they get a staff at because our our pools at our hotels and stuff have servers and drink and food and all that kind of stuff.
- 15:52Dayna Roselli: But Durango, yes, they started this uh concert series last year and they're bringing it back.
- 15:57Dayna Roselli: The uh poolside concert series, um, and it's right there at the Bel Air backyard.
- 16:01Dayna Roselli: You may have heard us talk about the Frey concert we went to last summer.
- 16:05Dayna Roselli: That was so fun, and now they have announced the lineup so far because they're gonna be adding.
- 16:10Dayna Roselli: It's more of like, I feel like it's like the spring lineup.
- 16:13Sean McAllister: Yeah, this is definitely go by the calendar, yes, because they'll have summer shows, they'll have shows that go into fall.
- 16:19Sean McAllister: Um, so this is a series that that continues.
- 16:22Sean McAllister: But uh country star Scotty McCreary, who got his start on American Idol when I was covering it, uh, he kicks things off on Friday, April 10th, followed by Jackson Dean on April 17th, J Boog on Monday, April 20th, and Thievery Corporation on Sunday, May 31st.
- 16:43Sean McAllister: So those are the first four shows that have been announced.
- 16:46Sean McAllister: But as you mentioned, Dana, we anticipate many more shows being added to the lineup as as time goes by here.
- 16:54Dayna Roselli: Yeah, it's great back there.
- 16:56Dayna Roselli: Love it, love everything about it.
- 16:58Dayna Roselli: Um, Palm's Pool is opening on March 16th, and they're ready to help out the locals by offering free cabanas for Las Vegas residents seven days a week from March 16th through April 30th.
- 17:12Dayna Roselli: No cover, no minimum, just sun, music, cocktails, and a space to unwind.
- 17:16Dayna Roselli: It's more of a relaxed atmosphere.
- 17:18Dayna Roselli: Um, they are taking a little bit of a break for March Madness time.
- 17:22Dayna Roselli: So March 19th to the 22nd, that deal is does not take place.
- 17:27Dayna Roselli: But um beginning May 1st, when that deal ends on April 30th, they are still doing the free cabana program for local Sunday through Friday so during the week.
- 17:37Dayna Roselli: And then they welcome, though, visitors too from out of town can go to the Palms Pool.
- 17:42Sean McAllister: And that is a nice pool complex.
- 17:45Sean McAllister: You get the Vegas pool vibe, but it's not as amped up as some of the other party pools that you will find at other venues.
- 17:55Dayna Roselli: Yeah, exactly.
- 17:57Dayna Roselli: So keep that in mind.
- 17:58Dayna Roselli: Hey, Sophie Tucker, a great music duo DJ.
- 18:02Dayna Roselli: They we talked to them at the American Music Awards recently.
- 18:05Dayna Roselli: They're wonderful.
- 18:06Dayna Roselli: I've seen them perform actually at Tau Beach before.
- 18:10Dayna Roselli: Um, but it's been a couple years and they've been doing Encore and Excess, and they are back with their 2026 residency.
- 18:16Dayna Roselli: They'll be performing at Excess Nightclub and Encore Beach Club March, April, May, August, and September.
- 18:22Dayna Roselli: Highly recommend.
- 18:23Dayna Roselli: Uh, Sophie Tucker, so nice.
- 18:25Dayna Roselli: And Tucker actually moved here to Las Vegas because he loves it so much.
- 18:29Sean McAllister: And how could you not?
- 18:31Dayna Roselli: I know.
- 18:31Sean McAllister: And if you are doing uh if you are a DJ and you have a gig doing some of these pool parties, it makes sense just to live here.
- 18:39Sean McAllister: Get a house here, even if you're traveling a lot, it's easy to get in and out.
- 18:44Dayna Roselli: We're affordable.
- 18:45Sean McAllister: We are affordable.
- 18:46Dayna Roselli: They're all over the world.
- 18:47Dayna Roselli: I just saw them, I don't know, halfway across the world.
- 18:49Sean McAllister: Yeah, they're bouncing all over the place.
- 18:51Sean McAllister: So are uh DJ Duo Loud Luxury, who we also spoke with at the American Music Awards, have had a have known these guys since they first started DJing here in Las Vegas years ago.
- 19:06Sean McAllister: Uh they've joined the roster over at Win and Encore as well.
- 19:10Sean McAllister: They have dates at XS and Encore Beach in March, April, May, June, July, and September.
- 19:16Sean McAllister: So they're here, I mean, now through fall pretty much.
- 19:20Dayna Roselli: Well, yeah, and they pop around.
- 19:21Dayna Roselli: They do like a couple, they do so all the it's great because they have a long roster of DJs, so they all get to switch out, you know.
- 19:27Dayna Roselli: So depending on if if you're set on seeing one of these music duos, you gotta look at the calendar.
- 19:34Dayna Roselli: You do see what days are gonna be here.
- 19:36Dayna Roselli: Sometimes they're at the pool in the day, the nightclub at night.
- 19:38Sean McAllister: I was gonna say a lot of times you'll get a twofer.
- 19:42Sean McAllister: You know, if you have a DJ that you really follow and really want to see, yeah, you can catch him during the day and then, you know, go take a go take a nap and catch him again at 1.30 at night.
- 19:54Dayna Roselli: I know.
- 19:55Dayna Roselli: That's good.
- 19:56Dayna Roselli: It's actually good.
- 19:56Dayna Roselli: You need that nap in between.
- 19:58Dayna Roselli: You do it's always a good recharge.
- 19:59Dayna Roselli: Um, I didn't uh we had already mentioned the Omnia Day Club that's opening at Caesars Palace, so that's still on.
- 20:05Dayna Roselli: We haven't seen it yet.
- 20:06Dayna Roselli: Obviously, it's debuting this pool season, so that will be another uh cool pool addition to the Las Vegas strip.
- 20:13Dayna Roselli: It really sits there along the strip, and so that's gonna be, and they're doing like um they're opening it at night too.
- 20:19Dayna Roselli: I think it just turns into kind of like a lounge, pool, you know, a lounge.
- 20:24Sean McAllister: Yeah, and Palm Tree Day Club also at uh MGM Grand, that's Kaigo's place that he opened up.
- 20:32Sean McAllister: That's coming back for the new pool season as well.
- 20:35Dayna Roselli: And then Marquee, they just invited us to their big opening as well, Marquee Day Club at Cosmopolitan.
- 20:41Sean McAllister: I know.
- 20:41Sean McAllister: I'm I'm excited about that.
- 20:42Sean McAllister: I haven't been over to Marquee Day Club in a hot minute.
- 20:46Sean McAllister: So it might be time to return.
- 20:48Sean McAllister: Hey, uh, we have this concert.
- 20:52Sean McAllister: Sorry, I didn't mean to interrupt.
- 20:53Dayna Roselli: I was just laughing because my transition was gonna be like, Sean, what is the deal with this labyrinth?
- 20:58Sean McAllister: So, okay.
- 20:59Dayna Roselli: Sorry, I did I feel rude.
- 21:01Dayna Roselli: I'm always interrupting and say whatever you want to do.
- 21:03Dayna Roselli: But I was just laughing because we've been doing this story in the TV show, and I'm like, Sean, I've never heard of this thing, and it's a big deal, and I feel like an idiot, but what is this labyrinth thing?
- 21:12Sean McAllister: Oh my god.
- 21:13Sean McAllister: So, Labyrinth, this is a movie by Jim Henson.
- 21:16Sean McAllister: Okay, that has a bunch of Jim Henson.
- 21:19Sean McAllister: I I don't even want to call them Muppets, but they're like Jim Henson creations, the characters in this film.
- 21:27Sean McAllister: David Bowie is in it.
- 21:29Sean McAllister: Uh I mean He's a character or he's a voice.
- 21:32Sean McAllister: No, he's like actually in it.
- 21:34Dayna Roselli: Okay, he's in it.
- 21:34Dayna Roselli: He's in it.
- 21:35Dayna Roselli: So it's not characteristics.
- 21:36Sean McAllister: And his soundtrack also, he's in the soundtrack as well.
- 21:39Sean McAllister: So it's not like the Muppets where there's no it's not like the Muppet show where it's like happy, it's not like Kermit and Fozzie and But you know how they're characters.
- 21:50Dayna Roselli: So it there's people playing these people.
- 21:52Dayna Roselli: Um that's what I'm getting at.
- 21:53Sean McAllister: There are people and like puppet characters.
- 21:58Sean McAllister: It's a mix, it's a hybrid.
- 21:59Dayna Roselli: Got it.
- 22:00Sean McAllister: It was really revolutionary at the time when it first came out 40 years ago.
- 22:06Sean McAllister: And so that's why they're doing this whole live concert experience to celebrate the 40th anniversary of Labyrinth.
- 22:15Sean McAllister: They're doing it with a full live uh orchestra on stage, and they'll be including the recorded vocals from David Bowie.
- 22:26Sean McAllister: Uh, and this is this movie has a cult following.
- 22:30Sean McAllister: Uh I don't I think that you're probably going to be seeing people of a certain age there.
- 22:35Sean McAllister: I don't know if the the youngsters have picked up on Labyrinth.
- 22:39Sean McAllister: Well, things come back, but you never know.
- 22:41Dayna Roselli: Yeah.
- 22:42Sean McAllister: Um, so it'll be interesting.
- 22:44Sean McAllister: It'll be interesting to see um how they stage this.
- 22:47Sean McAllister: They're doing this 40th anniversary concert.
- 22:50Sean McAllister: It's a whole tour, but they'll be here in Las Vegas at the Pearl Concert Theater at the Palms on October 25th.
- 22:57Sean McAllister: You can get tickets for that now.
- 22:58Dayna Roselli: All right.
- 22:59Dayna Roselli: It sounds like it'll be really good.
- 23:00Sean McAllister: It is the visuals, the vocals.
- 23:03Sean McAllister: It's a show.
- 23:04Sean McAllister: For people who love Labyrinth, and there there are a lot of them out there.
- 23:09Sean McAllister: This will be one of those shows that you gotta see.
- 23:11unknown: Okay.
- 23:12Dayna Roselli: Well, pop rock icons, the all-American rejects are coming to Resorts World for one night only.
- 23:18Dayna Roselli: So keep that in mind.
- 23:19Dayna Roselli: That performance is this summer.
- 23:21Dayna Roselli: Um, it's Saturday, July 25th, and tickets are on sale there.
- 23:24Dayna Roselli: And then Venezuelan singer-songwriter Danny Ocean is headed to Blue Live Theater at Fountain Blue on Friday, May 29th.
- 23:31Dayna Roselli: He's gonna offer this submersive musical experience with, you know, his signature sound, some vibrant stage designs, live energy, all of it.
- 23:39Dayna Roselli: He's gonna bring it.
- 23:40Dayna Roselli: Um, tickets are on sale uh right now for that show, too.
- 23:44Dayna Roselli: And you can go to the Fountain Blue Las Vegas website for that.
- 23:46Sean McAllister: And just speaking of uh Fountain Blue and the Blue Live Theater, a reminder that they have a big March Mania event that they're putting on for the opening rounds of uh the college basketball tournament.
- 24:01Sean McAllister: Right.
- 24:02Sean McAllister: They turn the theater into a viewing experience.
- 24:05Sean McAllister: The entire floor is outfitted with these cozy couch areas so you can feel like you're in a living room setting with a whole bunch of your friends with a massive 80-foot screen up in front of you.
- 24:18Sean McAllister: So if you want to take part in the luxury sports viewing experience over at Fountain Blue, make sure you go to their website and get your tickets for that now because you're likely gonna be hard-pressed if you wait.
- 24:34Dayna Roselli: And at some point we'll do other spots, but you know, we get a long list, like the Westgate and the Strat just sent us something and all sorts of different places.
- 24:40Dayna Roselli: But yeah, we told you about the March Mania at Fountain Blue last week.
- 24:46Dayna Roselli: We heard from the folks over there, but we wanted to highlight that again because you do they have a lot of packages and you do need to get get in now.
- 24:53Dayna Roselli: It's a popular place.
- 24:53Dayna Roselli: The fountain blue you went to the uh lunar new year celebration too, didn't you?
- 24:57Sean McAllister: I did.
- 24:58Sean McAllister: How was it?
- 24:58Sean McAllister: So it was it was fantastic.
- 25:01Sean McAllister: I was not expecting um like their uh lion dance to be so big.
- 25:08Sean McAllister: So they had one giant dragon, and when I say giant, I mean this thing had to have been 30, 40 feet long, and it said fountain blue Las Vegas right down the side, and then they had some like smaller like two-person uh dragons, and there were a ton of those, and they were all fountain blue dragons.
- 25:35Sean McAllister: I was like, oh my gosh, the fountain blue like invested in their own fleet of of dragons for the Lunar New Year.
- 25:43Dayna Roselli: They've all these properties go all out for lunar new year, it's wonderful.
- 25:46Sean McAllister: They did, and so they did the the main dance was done in the main valet area, and then all the dragons made their way through the casino to various spots.
- 25:59Sean McAllister: They had heads of lettuce um strung from the ceiling.
- 26:03Sean McAllister: So the dragon would have to jump up and bite the lettuce, and then it would chew it up and spit it out.
- 26:09Sean McAllister: And if you grab a piece of the lettuce, it's supposed to bring you good luck.
- 26:13Dayna Roselli: Oh, okay.
- 26:14Sean McAllister: You keep it with your wallet, keep it by you know, signals prosperity.
- 26:20Sean McAllister: Um and so that they went like all over the place.
- 26:24Sean McAllister: After the dance, we went up to the um to the food court area.
- 26:30Sean McAllister: Um, it's not a food court, it's a food hall.
- 26:33Sean McAllister: Um, grabbed some lunch up there, and by the way, had one of the lobster rolls at the pop-up lobster roll spot that they have, and it was the best lobster roll I have ever had.
- 26:45Sean McAllister: Oh, good to know.
- 26:46Sean McAllister: So much flavor, not tons of like you know how they can be bogged down with mayonnaise sometimes.
- 26:53Sean McAllister: It wasn't like that at all.
- 26:54Sean McAllister: It was delicious.
- 26:55Sean McAllister: But anyway, the dragons ended up coming upstairs too.
- 26:59Sean McAllister: Oh, fun.
- 26:59Sean McAllister: And like going into lobster rolls?
- 27:01Sean McAllister: They didn't come up for lobster rolls, they were blessing the restaurants that are up there.
- 27:06Sean McAllister: They went into the retail area to bless the shops.
- 27:09Sean McAllister: Yeah, so it was it was a cool experience.
- 27:12Sean McAllister: And those drums and cymbals, they're still ringing in my ears.
- 27:17Dayna Roselli: Well, good.
- 27:18Dayna Roselli: Well, then let's take a break and uh get ready to talk some celebrity news with a Vegas Twitch.
- 27:25Dayna Roselli: All right, Sean.
- 27:26Dayna Roselli: Well, we start with some sad news.
- 27:28Dayna Roselli: I wanted to mention this because um the icon of disco, Monty Rock III, who lived here in Las Vegas, has passed away.
- 27:37Dayna Roselli: On February 23rd, he passed away.
- 27:40Dayna Roselli: Um, but you know, he lived a great long life, and he was just a pleasure to run into in Las Vegas.
- 27:49Dayna Roselli: If people don't know, uh Monty Rock, and gosh, he made some appearances on like the Merv Griffin show and the Tonight Show, and they loved him so much that he would be a regular.
- 27:57Dayna Roselli: But if you've seen Saturday Night Fever, uh, the DJ at the disco is Monty Rock.
- 28:04Dayna Roselli: And you hear them refer to him, you see him in the movie.
- 28:07Dayna Roselli: So he's known for his Saturday Night Fight Fever appearance and and just a funny guy, told it like it was.
- 28:15Dayna Roselli: If you ran into him, if he was at shows, he would wear his hat and he would have his blazer on with all the different people that would sign it, and he would have his bag that he made from different kinds of other bags.
- 28:27Dayna Roselli: He just he was a character and um sad to hear that he passed away.
- 28:32Sean McAllister: And always some kind of animal print.
- 28:35Sean McAllister: Whenever I think of Monty and seeing him out, I just there was some kind of animal print that he was he was rocking, and you could not miss it when Monty was in the room.
- 28:47Dayna Roselli: And he had, you know, his band back in the day.
- 28:51Dayna Roselli: It was the disco techs and the sexoluts.
- 28:56Dayna Roselli: So you can only imagine.
- 28:58Sean McAllister: That's pretty amazing.
- 29:00Dayna Roselli: Uh how much fun he had.
- 29:02Dayna Roselli: Um, but yeah, that was a collaboration.
- 29:04Dayna Roselli: He had discotex and his sexo lets.
- 29:06Dayna Roselli: Um, and apparently that was a collaboration with uh Bob Crewe, who I learned a lot about by seeing Jersey Boys.
- 29:13Dayna Roselli: Right.
- 29:14Dayna Roselli: Big influence on music back then and stuff like that.
- 29:16Sean McAllister: The producer.
- 29:17Dayna Roselli: Yeah.
- 29:17Sean McAllister: Yeah.
- 29:18Dayna Roselli: But you know what?
- 29:18Dayna Roselli: Monty and I became close because he'd always say, I really like you, kid, and he'd start calling me randomly and talk to me for like literally two minutes, and then he'd be done.
- 29:27Dayna Roselli: He'd want to know how I was, he'd tell me what was going on in his life, and then he'd give me a piece of advice and he'd hang up on me.
- 29:34Dayna Roselli: He was hilarious.
- 29:36Sean McAllister: A quick exit right out of the conversation.
- 29:39Dayna Roselli: You've been here, I think, when he's called me, or I've played him as many times.
- 29:42Dayna Roselli: Yeah.
- 29:43Dayna Roselli: He, oh my gosh.
- 29:44Dayna Roselli: He was just such a character.
- 29:47Dayna Roselli: And, you know, he used to make those, you know, back when I feel like uh the late night shows they were different than they are today.
- 29:55Dayna Roselli: I feel like it was more about like the continue they had like continuous appearances from people.
- 30:00Sean McAllister: Yes, and that was like in the heyday of late night.
- 30:04Dayna Roselli: Right.
- 30:05Sean McAllister: When, you know, everybody in America would watch because there were only three stations.
- 30:11Dayna Roselli: Right.
- 30:12Dayna Roselli: Exactly.
- 30:13Dayna Roselli: So it was a big deal.
- 30:14Sean McAllister: And so everybody knew Monty.
- 30:16Dayna Roselli: Right.
- 30:17Dayna Roselli: Everyone.
- 30:17Dayna Roselli: Um, yeah.
- 30:18Dayna Roselli: So he was huge.
- 30:19Dayna Roselli: You know, his gosh, disco, you know, music was like mainstream back then.
- 30:24Dayna Roselli: And and Saturday Night Fever.
- 30:27Dayna Roselli: Watch it, and I think you'll you'll know who I'm talking about.
- 30:30Dayna Roselli: That was Monty Rock, but sad to hear about Monty Rock's passing.
- 30:33Dayna Roselli: He hasn't felt well for a little while, and um, I ran into him uh probably the last time I saw him was about a year ago at Sammy's Woodfired Pizza.
- 30:42Dayna Roselli: I ran into him and he was happy to see me.
- 30:44Dayna Roselli: We've talked on the phone.
- 30:46Dayna Roselli: Yes, good guy, and uh, you know, one of our Vegas celebrities.
- 30:51Dayna Roselli: So sad to hear about his passing.
- 30:53Sean McAllister: Yeah.
- 30:54Sean McAllister: Um, another celebrity who we sadly uh lost recently is Eric Dane.
- 31:00Sean McAllister: Um he went through a really kind of short battle.
- 31:06Sean McAllister: Short battle, yeah, with ALS.
- 31:09Dayna Roselli: Yeah, and it's really brought ALS to light.
- 31:12Dayna Roselli: Um, it was the his diagnosis was, I think, shocking to a lot of people.
- 31:16Dayna Roselli: Um, so Eric Dane, we're gonna tell you the Vegas connection in just a minute, but Eric Dane played uh, well, McSteamy was his nickname on Grey's Anatomy.
- 31:25Dayna Roselli: You, if you've um recently he was in the show Euphoria as well.
- 31:29Dayna Roselli: But um, and you know, his appearance next to McDreamy on uh Gray's Anatomy, and I think most people will know what I'm talking about.
- 31:38Dayna Roselli: Two doctors, very good looking, very funny.
- 31:41Dayna Roselli: Uh, there was a lot of drama, and and people, he was just beloved, and those two were friends.
- 31:46Dayna Roselli: Derek Shepherd.
- 31:48Dayna Roselli: I don't even remember McSteam.
- 31:49Dayna Roselli: Why am I blanking on McSteamy's real name?
- 31:52Sean McAllister: I just know him as McSteam's because McSteamy is just that sticks.
- 31:55Dayna Roselli: Oh my gosh, it does.
- 31:56Dayna Roselli: I'm just blanking.
- 31:57Dayna Roselli: I don't know why.
- 31:58Dayna Roselli: I know his name.
- 31:59Dayna Roselli: Anyway, um, so anyway, very popular from that.
- 32:02Dayna Roselli: And so so many people um just you look at that and you think this vibrant, good-looking, he can't have ALS, you know.
- 32:09Dayna Roselli: Um, he was married um, and actually, when he passed, he was still married to Rebecca Gayhart, an actress.
- 32:17Dayna Roselli: And I found out after deep diving, because so many people have been talking about Eric Dane's passing and how sad it is, uh, that they were married in Las Vegas.
- 32:27Dayna Roselli: I didn't realize that back in 2004.
- 32:30Dayna Roselli: Huh?
- 32:30Dayna Roselli: Yeah, October 29th.
- 32:32Dayna Roselli: Apparently, I don't know this specific venue.
- 32:35Dayna Roselli: It has not been detailed according to most of the articles I looked at, but they had a quick ceremony to tie the knot.
- 32:41Dayna Roselli: I know his documentaries on Netflix now.
- 32:43Dayna Roselli: They released it after he passed, and in it he says, like he will never find anyone he loved as much as Rebecca.
- 32:49Dayna Roselli: They've had their ins, ups, and downs, and uh there was they were filed for divorce, but they never actually went through with it.
- 32:55Dayna Roselli: So anyway, um, a love story to the end.
- 32:58Dayna Roselli: She's been posting a lot in uh an Instagram, and interesting to hear that they they did their quick ceremony as we are experts at quick ceremonies here in Las Vegas, in Las Vegas.
- 33:09Sean McAllister: And there's always a Vegas connection somewhere, isn't there?
- 33:13Dayna Roselli: Yeah, always.
- 33:14Sean McAllister: And a big Vegas connection for Backstreet Boys who have announced six new summer shows at Sphere.
- 33:24Dayna Roselli: Yeah, a big deal, right?
- 33:26Dayna Roselli: Because we kind of thought they were gonna come back, and the vibe that Nick Carter gave us, and you've heard our interview a while ago, is kind of like, yeah, they're definitely coming back again, even after the run that they already announced.
- 33:37Dayna Roselli: And now we know, but they announced July shows and now they've already added August.
- 33:41Dayna Roselli: So they did one announcement and then they've did another.
- 33:44Sean McAllister: Right.
- 33:44Dayna Roselli: So they did the oh, they did the six, and then today they just came out with more.
- 33:48Dayna Roselli: So they got one, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, nine, ten, eleven, twelve shows now, but it could expand.
- 33:54Sean McAllister: So they've doubled it and it will expand because uh we'll get a notice when it says when we we know that it's really winding up when it says the final shows.
- 34:05Dayna Roselli: Right.
- 34:06Sean McAllister: But we have not gotten anything that says it's final anything, it's just additional shows, popular demand.
- 34:13Dayna Roselli: Uh you can't think of the word, see?
- 34:16Sean McAllister: That's why that's why they always write back by popular demand.
- 34:21Dayna Roselli: Hold on, you couldn't think of that, which made me think Mark Sloan was McSteamy's name on Grey's Anatomy.
- 34:28Sean McAllister: There we go.
- 34:28Dayna Roselli: See, we get caught up in our stories, but yes.
- 34:32Dayna Roselli: Um, and you know what, Sean, I don't know if I sent this to you, but I was uh laughing.
- 34:36Dayna Roselli: I saw a reel or a social media post, someone filming the edge of the road there.
- 34:42Dayna Roselli: Um, because uh Spring Mountain turns into right there in front of the sphere.
- 34:47Dayna Roselli: Yeah.
- 34:47Dayna Roselli: No, uh Sands.
- 34:49Dayna Roselli: Sands.
- 34:49Dayna Roselli: Right, right, right.
- 34:50Dayna Roselli: So Sands along the Venetian in Palazzo.
- 34:53Dayna Roselli: Um, someone was on the other side near the wind filming, and they're like, what is going on?
- 34:58Dayna Roselli: And then everyone was laughing and they're like, it's this like white out of people walking to the sphere for the Backstreet Boy show.
- 35:05Dayna Roselli: And we've talked about it before, but this was an interesting shot because it was actually on the road on Sands Avenue.
- 35:10Sean McAllister: Right.
- 35:11Dayna Roselli: And this lady was like, What is going on?
- 35:13Dayna Roselli: And all these people, you know, walking in white to I mean, it's been it's like a they've it they've made this of such an event and such a big deal.
- 35:22Sean McAllister: It is, and when you get that entire crowd of people who are either going into a show or coming out of a show, when sphere lets out and everybody is just uh making their way to wherever they're going, you see clumps of white outfits absolutely everywhere.
- 35:45Sean McAllister: And for the rest of the night, at restaurants, at clubs, at bars, it's slot machines, anywhere.
- 35:53Sean McAllister: Up and down the strip.
- 35:54Sean McAllister: You know who has just been or who is going to see the Backstreet Boys.
- 36:00Sean McAllister: Yeah.
- 36:00Dayna Roselli: It's a big deal.
- 36:01Sean McAllister: It is a big deal.
- 36:02Dayna Roselli: It's been it's just crazy.
- 36:04Dayna Roselli: I don't even think they, I mean, when we talked to Nick, he was like, I don't didn't expect it to really go this way.
- 36:09Dayna Roselli: I knew we'd be good, but wow.
- 36:13Dayna Roselli: And you know, I just assume they're riding the wave and loving it.
- 36:16Sean McAllister: Well, and I just saw that Gal King came to town and went to see Backstreet Boys for a friend's birthday.
- 36:23Sean McAllister: She said her friend treated everybody to Backstreet Boys, they all went, and she was like, uh, you know, that'll be fun.
- 36:30Sean McAllister: She was like, Nope, now I am a Backstreet Boy fan.
- 36:34Sean McAllister: That show was epic.
- 36:38Dayna Roselli: Epic.
- 36:39Dayna Roselli: And it looked like one of the Jonas brothers was just there too.
- 36:42Dayna Roselli: Oh, yeah.
- 36:42Dayna Roselli: Uh he was on TikTok dancing every one of the songs.
- 36:45Sean McAllister: Always.
- 36:46Sean McAllister: Um, it looks like they may have added some new visuals.
- 36:50Sean McAllister: I feel like I've seen clips uh of some visuals that I haven't seen before.
- 36:55Dayna Roselli: Okay, that's good.
- 36:56Dayna Roselli: I'm sure because probably updating little things.
- 36:58Dayna Roselli: You don't have to update the whole show, but yeah, I haven't that's a good point.
- 37:02Dayna Roselli: I haven't looked at um most of the recent, haven't watched the visuals, but I do love the outfit changes, the girls that come into town and the guys that come into town and change into white.
- 37:11Dayna Roselli: That's my I get to my algorithm because I'm like, good for you guys.
- 37:15Dayna Roselli: So you see it all.
- 37:16Dayna Roselli: I see it all.
- 37:16Dayna Roselli: But the visuals, um, I bet they have updated though.
- 37:19Dayna Roselli: Somebody will have to write us.
- 37:20Dayna Roselli: We have a link in our show notes.
- 37:21Dayna Roselli: You can always text us.
- 37:22Dayna Roselli: Doesn't give your number, don't worry.
- 37:24Dayna Roselli: Um, but let us know if there are new visuals if you've been to the Backstreet Boy Show.
- 37:28Dayna Roselli: Um, shows are July 30th, 31st, August 1st, 6th, 7th, and 8th.
- 37:32Dayna Roselli: Those are the new shows they just added on top of July 16, 17, 18, 23, 24, and 25.
- 37:38Dayna Roselli: Hey, um, real quick, this is not necessarily celebrity related, but it's movie related.
- 37:45Dayna Roselli: I know we're gonna do something on the Beverly Theater at some point, uh, get an update there with what they've been doing with film, but they are celebrating their third anniversary in like a week, and they're bringing back 3D.
- 37:58Dayna Roselli: Yes.
- 37:58Dayna Roselli: And I know you're super excited about this.
- 38:00Sean McAllister: I'm so excited about this.
- 38:02Sean McAllister: So on March 3rd, which is the third anniversary of the Beverly Theater's opening, they are showing three films in 3D.
- 38:13Dayna Roselli: Like old school 3D.
- 38:14Sean McAllister: Old school, like the kind of yes, and like classic movies.
- 38:20Sean McAllister: One of them I cannot wait for is Jurassic Park, the original Jurassic Park.
- 38:26Sean McAllister: They're showing it in 3D at the Beverly Theater.
- 38:30Sean McAllister: I'm I am a hundred percent going.
- 38:33Dayna Roselli: I know.
- 38:34Sean McAllister: I'm excited.
- 38:35Dayna Roselli: You're really excited about the 3D because it brings it back.
- 38:38Dayna Roselli: That used to be a big event, remember?
- 38:39Sean McAllister: Absolutely.
- 38:40Sean McAllister: Oh, it's in 3D.
- 38:41Sean McAllister: That's in 3D.
- 38:44Sean McAllister: Before IMAX came along and all that, and the sphere.
- 38:47Sean McAllister: And the sphere.
- 38:49Dayna Roselli: But um that's awesome.
- 38:50Sean McAllister: My life was simpler.
- 38:51Dayna Roselli: Yeah.
- 38:52Sean McAllister: Uh, but here's the thing the 3D glasses that the Beverly Theater is using are super high tech.
- 38:59Sean McAllister: They're not the disposable ones.
- 39:01Sean McAllister: Okay.
- 39:02Sean McAllister: They have like, I don't know, some kind of reactionary uh vision kind of thing that goes on.
- 39:10Sean McAllister: So they adjust to whatever's on the screen.
- 39:13Sean McAllister: There's like a laser system that that makes them work.
- 39:16Sean McAllister: Um, but yeah, because of that, they have to sanitize and do all of that stuff.
- 39:22Sean McAllister: So when you go to the Beverly Theater, because I believe that they're going to continue doing 3D films um now and again, also, uh, do not take the 3D glasses.
- 39:34Sean McAllister: Yeah.
- 39:35Sean McAllister: Those are a big investment.
- 39:36Dayna Roselli: Turn them back in.
- 39:37Sean McAllister: Turn them back in.
- 39:37Sean McAllister: Right.
- 39:38Sean McAllister: But let other people enjoy it too.
- 39:41Dayna Roselli: Yeah, it's so nice over there.
- 39:42Dayna Roselli: It's such a it's been such a great addition to uh downtown Las Vegas.
- 39:47Dayna Roselli: Love it.
- 39:48Dayna Roselli: There's so much going on in Las Vegas.
- 39:50Dayna Roselli: Every day we get tons of releases.
- 39:52Dayna Roselli: Every time I we say this all the time, we think it's gonna slow down, it doesn't.
- 39:55Sean McAllister: And just one other thing on the Beverly Theater.
- 39:57Sean McAllister: Like, you know how uh movie theaters, I feel like they can start uh the wear and tear can show up pretty quick.
- 40:07Sean McAllister: And the Beverly Theater still looks brand new.
- 40:10Dayna Roselli: Oh, yeah.
- 40:10Sean McAllister: I mean it's it's so well taken care of.
- 40:13Sean McAllister: Great group of people over there uh running it.
- 40:16Sean McAllister: Well done.
- 40:17Dayna Roselli: It is well done.
- 40:18Dayna Roselli: Um, all right, we need to go because we need to continue our um online fight with TikTok.
- 40:24Dayna Roselli: Oh we've been fighting with TikTok.
- 40:26Dayna Roselli: They pulled us from the creator program because they said we used unoriginal content when we did not.
- 40:31Dayna Roselli: We only use original content.
- 40:33Dayna Roselli: So we are determined to prove our case.
- 40:35Dayna Roselli: So we'll see.
- 40:36Dayna Roselli: But anyway, time to move on.
- 40:39Dayna Roselli: Gotta get that drop drop box full of all our original videos.
- 40:44Dayna Roselli: Don't at all don't let anyone ever ask us for proof of something.
- 40:47Sean McAllister: We will bring you proof that will pile up to your eyeballs.
- 40:51Dayna Roselli: They're acting like I didn't interview Mark Anthony.
- 40:54Dayna Roselli: I mean like hello, and I'm standing there with him.
- 40:57Dayna Roselli: It's me.
- 40:58Dayna Roselli: So anyway.
- 41:00Dayna Roselli: All right.
- 41:00Dayna Roselli: Well, that's that.
- 41:02Dayna Roselli: We'll uh talk to you next week for uh more Vegas reveal.
- 41:05Sean McAllister: Off to sip on some peacon footage.
