- 0:09Speaker 1: Advice Sue. Helloallo, Hello, welcome to the Naughty vern Ni Show.
- 0:16Speaker 1: I'm your host, Rub Shooter, and it is Friday, Naughties.
- 0:20Speaker 1: I'm in a great mood this morning. Unfortunately, Corey's not
- 0:23Speaker 1: going to be joining us, so it's just us naughties.
- 0:26Speaker 1: But don't worry, we have a fantastic show ahead of us.
- 0:29Speaker 1: What term is in my friends, It is tea time. Okay.
- 0:34Speaker 1: Big story in the news breaking out of London. King
- 0:38Speaker 1: Charles has ordered all the working Royals to attend his
- 0:42Speaker 1: party instead of going to Prince Harry's Invictus Games. Let
- 0:47Speaker 1: me explain. So, in a move that has sparked controversy
- 0:52Speaker 1: and raised an eyebrow or two amongst the royal watchers,
- 0:57Speaker 1: King Charles the Third has once again dird the pot
- 1:01Speaker 1: by orchestrating a mandatory let me say that again, a
- 1:05Speaker 1: mandatory royal gathering that happens to coincide with Prince Harry's
- 1:11Speaker 1: significant commitment to the Invictus Game service. Oh Charles. So,
- 1:18Speaker 1: Charles has commanded the presence of all working Royals, with
- 1:22Speaker 1: the notable exception of Prince William and Kate Middleton, to
- 1:27Speaker 1: participate in an opulent garden party at Buckingham Palace. So
- 1:33Speaker 1: the event that's going to be attended by Prince and
- 1:36Speaker 1: Prince Edwards, all the other working royals, it's going to
- 1:40Speaker 1: be on the great lawn of the Palace in London. Meanwhile,
- 1:44Speaker 1: just a stone's throw away, Prince Harry, the Duke of Sussex,
- 1:50Speaker 1: was deeply engrossed with his deadication service to his beloved
- 1:56Speaker 1: Invictus Games, an event that is very close to his heart.
- 2:00Speaker 1: So the timing of the King's Saree, deliberately overlapping with
- 2:05Speaker 1: Prince Harry's commitment to the Invictor's Games has sparked speculation.
- 2:12Speaker 1: Was it a coincidence? No? Was it deliberate? Yes? Now
- 2:17Speaker 1: Prince William, not to be outdone, hosted his own event
- 2:22Speaker 1: the day earlier at Windsor Castle. These two, this family,
- 2:28Speaker 1: nobody is willing to give an inch. I don't see
- 2:32Speaker 1: the solution here, I really don't. I think it's at
- 2:35Speaker 1: a point now where it's over. I can't imagine how
- 2:39Speaker 1: it gets repaired. To do this is really spiteful, and
- 2:43Speaker 1: that's where they are now. Not only is the family
- 2:46Speaker 1: upset with one another, now they're angry. Now they want
- 2:48Speaker 1: to hurt one another. Now they want to cause some
- 2:51Speaker 1: pain here, some humiliation, and so for the king to
- 2:54Speaker 1: throw his garden party the same day that Harry was
- 2:58Speaker 1: going to be in London at the Victor's Games just
- 3:01Speaker 1: feels a little bit petty to me. I wish they
- 3:04Speaker 1: all put down the sword. Have you ever done this?
- 3:06Speaker 1: Have you ever held onto that sword? And after a
- 3:08Speaker 1: while you forgot? Where're a fighting? What's the war here?
- 3:13Speaker 1: What's the problem? But you just can't let go of
- 3:15Speaker 1: the sword. That's where the royal family is now. They
- 3:18Speaker 1: know they're angry, they know they're upset, but if you
- 3:21Speaker 1: ask them why, they might all have a difficult time
- 3:24Speaker 1: explaining it. It's time for them all to get in
- 3:27Speaker 1: a room together to make peace, or at least to
- 3:30Speaker 1: figure out a way that they can work together. I
- 3:33Speaker 1: think that this one is particularly spiteful, though, because Charles
- 3:37Speaker 1: is not just involving himself and his son William and
- 3:39Speaker 1: Harry's involving everybody else in the family. And this is
- 3:43Speaker 1: more than a family. It's a job. It's a family business.
- 3:46Speaker 1: If your boss says to you, thinking your boss right now,
- 3:49Speaker 1: have you got their picture in your head? Your boss
- 3:51Speaker 1: says to you, you've got to turn up at this event,
- 3:54Speaker 1: then you've got to go. It's your boss. When I
- 3:57Speaker 1: was working for v H one, there was a wedding
- 4:00Speaker 1: and we didn't really know the person that well who
- 4:02Speaker 1: was getting married. We didn't even like the person that well,
- 4:04Speaker 1: but we were told by the boss that we all
- 4:06Speaker 1: had to go. We went. If the boss says go,
- 4:09Speaker 1: you have to go. Whoever's paying my bills is who
- 4:12Speaker 1: I am listening to. And that's the same with the
- 4:14Speaker 1: royals here. Charles is the boss. He's in Charlee. He
- 4:18Speaker 1: decides what jobs they do, what events they are involved,
- 4:23Speaker 1: and he is the boss. He literally is the king
- 4:27Speaker 1: of the castle here. And to upset Charles not a
- 4:30Speaker 1: smart idea, particularly when you don't have a different job,
- 4:33Speaker 1: when you need the boss to pay your bills. None
- 4:36Speaker 1: of them earn any money. So without Charles, they're all
- 4:39Speaker 1: in a lot of trouble. So they always always are
- 4:42Speaker 1: going to listen to Charles. Harry doesn't have a chance here.
- 4:46Speaker 1: He's not going to be able to compete with the king.
- 4:48Speaker 1: Not only is the king the king, but he also
- 4:51Speaker 1: is the boss. And so I'm sure Harry would have
- 4:53Speaker 1: loved for some of his cousins for some of his
- 4:56Speaker 1: relatives to turn up to support him, and not just
- 4:59Speaker 1: support him, but to support the invictor's games. Well, that
- 5:03Speaker 1: did not happen. Everybody went to the King's garden party instead,
- 5:09Speaker 1: which brings us to our pole question of the day.
- 5:12Speaker 1: King Charles ordered all the work in Royals to attend
- 5:16Speaker 1: his party during Prince Harry's Invictus game service. Our question
- 5:21Speaker 1: is should the Royal family members be able to make
- 5:25Speaker 1: their own decision? What do you think should you be
- 5:27Speaker 1: able to make your own decision? You know it's difficult,
- 5:31Speaker 1: isn't it, because you've got to do what the boss says.
- 5:33Speaker 1: But should Charles been a bigger person here and said
- 5:37Speaker 1: to the family, we got two events the same time,
- 5:40Speaker 1: the same day, you choose. They would have all chosen
- 5:44Speaker 1: to go to his event. They don't want to upset him,
- 5:46Speaker 1: but at least they would have felt as if they
- 5:48Speaker 1: had a choice. Here there was no choice. He told them,
- 5:51Speaker 1: you're all expected to be at the garden party, not
- 5:54Speaker 1: with Harry, and that's where they all were. So our
- 5:56Speaker 1: question is, what do you think should the family have
- 6:00Speaker 1: been able to make their own decision? Go vote on
- 6:04Speaker 1: that Twitter page at Naughty Knight's ram or a Facebook
- 6:06Speaker 1: page which is naughty gossip, and be sure to check
- 6:10Speaker 1: back on Monday to hear your results. Okay, moving along,
- 6:14Speaker 1: Jennifer Lopez's facing backlash after a ram bitch response at
- 6:20Speaker 1: the met gala. So a viral TikTok video It's blowing
- 6:24Speaker 1: up shows a USA Today reporter approaching Jennifer on the
- 6:29Speaker 1: iconic staircase at the Metropolitan Museum of Art and posing
- 6:34Speaker 1: the question a very simple question, who are you wearing? Jennifer,
- 6:38Speaker 1: adorned in an exquisite gown, offered a very sharp response,
- 6:43Speaker 1: literally saying quote Scapparelli before shimmering off. It was just
- 6:47Speaker 1: one word. It was a little abrupt. The video is
- 6:51Speaker 1: quite funny, but then she ascended the stairs aided by
- 6:54Speaker 1: an assistant. Goodbye, Jennifer's gone. Well Now the exchange, which
- 6:59Speaker 1: lasted just literally seconds, is blowing up online. Lots of
- 7:06Speaker 1: people are criticizing Jennifer. Some of the comments are very funny.
- 7:09Speaker 1: One person said the definition of a ray of sunshine sarcastic.
- 7:14Speaker 1: Another person wrote, oh, She's such a sweetie. Another one
- 7:18Speaker 1: that made me laugh said, quote her kindness radiates through
- 7:23Speaker 1: the scream, and one person finally, finally said, she seems
- 7:30Speaker 1: like a bundle of joy. Now, I'm sure Jennifer was
- 7:34Speaker 1: very uncomfortable. These dresses are not to be worn for comfort.
- 7:38Speaker 1: They're very uncomfortable. In fact, Sarah Jessica Parker couldn't sit
- 7:41Speaker 1: down in her dress. So once you get inside, there's
- 7:44Speaker 1: a sit down dinner, there's a cocktail hour where you stand,
- 7:47Speaker 1: and then as a sit down dinner, Jessica said she
- 7:50Speaker 1: couldn't sit down to eat dinner her dress would not bend.
- 7:52Speaker 1: The same with Jennifer here, very uncomfortable. She's been in
- 7:56Speaker 1: hair and makeup for hours. She gets to the event,
- 7:59Speaker 1: She's asked, who are you wearing? She answers, and that's
- 8:01Speaker 1: it doesn't give any more. Have you got friends like this?
- 8:04Speaker 1: Sometimes I can be a little abrupt, particularly on email.
- 8:08Speaker 1: When you send me a long email, I'm normally right back,
- 8:11Speaker 1: just a few words, yes, no, I'm on it, thank you.
- 8:14Speaker 1: I don't really talk that much on email or even
- 8:19Speaker 1: on text. It's quite sharp, and some of my friends
- 8:22Speaker 1: have mistakenly thought I was being a bit rude. I'm not.
- 8:26Speaker 1: I'm just very very very very busy, and I love
- 8:28Speaker 1: seeing and gossiping and talking but I like to do
- 8:31Speaker 1: that over a vodka, sitting down eye to eye. When
- 8:34Speaker 1: it's electronic, I'm a little bit a little bit more abrupt.
- 8:37Speaker 1: And so I worked for Jennifer Lopez. You know, she
- 8:40Speaker 1: isn't exactly a ball of sunshine. She's very professional. I'm
- 8:44Speaker 1: not saying anything bad here. I really admire the fact
- 8:47Speaker 1: that Jennifer knows what she wants and he's not afraid
- 8:50Speaker 1: to say it. You ask her who she's wearing, and
- 8:54Speaker 1: you get the answer, what do you think, rude or
- 8:57Speaker 1: Jen just being Jen? She answered the question, Okay. Moving along,
- 9:01Speaker 1: Chloe Kardashian is revealing the one thing, the one product
- 9:04Speaker 1: she cut out of her diet that helped her lose
- 9:07Speaker 1: eighty pounds. So Chloe has unveiled her an astonishing journey
- 9:13Speaker 1: behind her dramatic eighty pounds weight loss following the birth
- 9:17Speaker 1: of her daughter True back in twenty eighteen. Wow, it
- 9:21Speaker 1: seems like yesterday, doesn't it? So she said the following
- 9:25Speaker 1: I cut out all sodas. All sodas is what she
- 9:30Speaker 1: cut out. She said. At her heaviest, she was over
- 9:33Speaker 1: two hundred pounds, and that prompted her to embark on
- 9:37Speaker 1: a relentless pursuit of shedding the excess pounds. She did
- 9:41Speaker 1: this by lots of different ways. One of them was exercise,
- 9:45Speaker 1: another one was she cut things out little by little.
- 9:48Speaker 1: She'd go one week without something and then cut something
- 9:51Speaker 1: out the next week, and so she could figure out
- 9:53Speaker 1: strategically what she needed to eliminate from her diet. But
- 9:57Speaker 1: one of the biggest things that she eliminated and has
- 10:01Speaker 1: made her feel so much better is soda. I lost
- 10:04Speaker 1: about forty to fifty pounds myself, and I've got to admit
- 10:07Speaker 1: I don't drink soda at all anymore, and that certainly
- 10:11Speaker 1: has helped mine. Was chips, potato chips, crisps we call
- 10:15Speaker 1: them in Britain. I love crisps. I love chips. I
- 10:18Speaker 1: could eat a bag of chips every single day. I
- 10:20Speaker 1: just stopped. I stopped. It was gradual. Instead of having
- 10:24Speaker 1: them every day, I had them twice a week, then
- 10:26Speaker 1: once a week, then once every two weeks, and then
- 10:28Speaker 1: I cut them out and that certainly helped me. What
- 10:31Speaker 1: would you like to be able to cut out of
- 10:35Speaker 1: your diet? What's the one thing you might love it,
- 10:38Speaker 1: you might really enjoy it, but be so helpful, so
- 10:41Speaker 1: good for you if you cut it out. Chloes was soda, Okaytherine.
- 10:48Speaker 1: Katherine Schwarzenegger is throwing some shade at the MET, reminiscing
- 10:53Speaker 1: about when the gala was quote classy, so sharing a
- 10:57Speaker 1: throwback picture of her mother, Maria Shreiver from the two
- 11:01Speaker 1: thousand and one Met gala. Catherine made her comments quite clear.
- 11:06Speaker 1: She wrote the following caption, quote when the Met gala
- 11:12Speaker 1: was chic and classy. Oh ouch. Now. Originally the picture
- 11:18Speaker 1: had been posted by her mom or Maria, she reposted
- 11:22Speaker 1: it with her own caption. When Maria posted it, she
- 11:25Speaker 1: said the following quote, Things were a little more low
- 11:28Speaker 1: key when I attended back in two thousand and one,
- 11:33Speaker 1: but I thought I would share some photos from that
- 11:37Speaker 1: wonderful night. So Maria had a brilliant time there. Yes,
- 11:41Speaker 1: things were a little bit more low key, but she
- 11:43Speaker 1: didn't go as far as her daughter saying that they're
- 11:45Speaker 1: no longer classy. That the Met used to be chic
- 11:49Speaker 1: and classy, which means that it isn't now unnecessary shade
- 11:55Speaker 1: or the truth some of the looks now, Oh my goodness,
- 11:58Speaker 1: it's like Halloween, isn't it. Personally, I'm quite traditional. Even
- 12:02Speaker 1: though I'm very liberal with my attitudes when it comes
- 12:05Speaker 1: to clothing. When it comes to clothes, I like to
- 12:08Speaker 1: be covered up. I do. I don't like racy outfits.
- 12:12Speaker 1: I don't want my bottom to be hanging out. Oh no,
- 12:16Speaker 1: no no. When I look at some of these dresses,
- 12:18Speaker 1: some of these clothes, it makes me cringe. I'm not
- 12:22Speaker 1: sure i'd say it wasn't classy, but it certainly isn't classic.
- 12:25Speaker 1: I like a classic. Look. A little number that can
- 12:29Speaker 1: work today, tomorrow, ten years from now is something that
- 12:31Speaker 1: always stays in fashion, rather than chasing the trends. So
- 12:36Speaker 1: even though I probably wouldn't be as bold as Catherine here,
- 12:39Speaker 1: I probably would have the same thing to say as Maria.
- 12:43Speaker 1: I miss those days. Okay quickly before we get to break.
- 12:47Speaker 1: David Beckham, one of the most famous sports people in
- 12:50Speaker 1: the world, is weighing in and if Travis Kelcey can
- 12:53Speaker 1: navigate Taylor Swift's fame. So David brought his perspective on
- 13:00Speaker 1: whether Travis is well equipped to handle the spotlight that
- 13:04Speaker 1: is now shining on him brighter than ever thanks to
- 13:08Speaker 1: the fact he's dating Taylor Swift, arguably the most famous
- 13:12Speaker 1: person in the world. So the retired soccer star said
- 13:17Speaker 1: that he does think he will be able to quote
- 13:20Speaker 1: handle it just fine. It's interesting, isn't it. David Beckham
- 13:25Speaker 1: is a huge star, a huge star in the world
- 13:28Speaker 1: of sports, but he married a Spice girl who was
- 13:31Speaker 1: a huge star in the celebrity in the music business.
- 13:34Speaker 1: So it wasn't that different from Taylor Swift. I think
- 13:37Speaker 1: Taylor Swift is bigger than the Spice Girls ever were.
- 13:40Speaker 1: But for a minute then the Spice Girls were super
- 13:43Speaker 1: super superstars. There was no where they could go and
- 13:46Speaker 1: not be recognized. So David had to adjust to being
- 13:51Speaker 1: with posh. With Victoria Beckham, he was a star, There's
- 13:54Speaker 1: no doubt about it. But together their star power united
- 13:58Speaker 1: and doubled. Swift has a lot more star power than Travis,
- 14:03Speaker 1: but he does have he does have a fan base,
- 14:05Speaker 1: and so together they're just adding, They're not taking away,
- 14:09Speaker 1: And so that was the question, can he handle it?
- 14:12Speaker 1: David Beckham says yes he can. I agree. Okay, We're
- 14:17Speaker 1: going to take a quick break and we will be
- 14:19Speaker 1: right back. Welcome back to the Nautive at Night Show.
- 14:24Speaker 1: I'm your hens rump shooter. Hey nought ease let's get
- 14:27Speaker 1: to the polls. Do dum. Last show, we got into
- 14:32Speaker 1: Andy Cohen's new cover on The Hollywood Reporter. He is
- 14:36Speaker 1: standing firm amid Real Housewives, legal issues, sexist allegations, even
- 14:43Speaker 1: allegations of drugs and racism. So Andy is saying he
- 14:47Speaker 1: has no regrets, no regrets at all. Our question was,
- 14:51Speaker 1: should he apologize? If you do something wrong? Should you apologize?
- 14:55Speaker 1: Do you have regrets? Doesn't everybody have regrets? There's always
- 14:59Speaker 1: something we could handled differently, a little bit better. I'm
- 15:02Speaker 1: a big believer in admitting when I've messed up, and
- 15:05Speaker 1: is the opposite. No regrets, no apologies, just standing standing
- 15:10Speaker 1: tall here. So our question was, should he apologize, Let's
- 15:15Speaker 1: have a look. Seventy percent said yes, clearly there's something
- 15:18Speaker 1: wrong here. There are a lot of accusations. He might
- 15:21Speaker 1: not be guilty of all of them, of any of them,
- 15:23Speaker 1: any of them, but still that toxic work environment, the housewives,
- 15:28Speaker 1: it's all something that I think he could probably go
- 15:31Speaker 1: back and do better. And so I agree with you naughties,
- 15:36Speaker 1: Hey don't forget to vote on today's poll. Go to
- 15:39Speaker 1: our Twitter page at Naughty Nice Rob or our Facebook
- 15:42Speaker 1: page which is Nordy Gossip and be sure to check
- 15:46Speaker 1: back on Monday to hear your results. And now it's
- 15:51Speaker 1: time for our nicest of the day. Jerry Seinfeld is
- 15:56Speaker 1: our nicest of the day because he apologized to Howard Stern,
- 16:00Speaker 1: saying quote, please forgive me so the opposite here of
- 16:04Speaker 1: Andy Cohen. Jerry Seinfeld is extending a heartfelt apology to
- 16:10Speaker 1: Howard Stern following a recent slip of the tongue. During
- 16:14Speaker 1: an interview, he said the following quote, I really feel
- 16:19Speaker 1: bad for what I said about my friend Howard Stern
- 16:22Speaker 1: in a conversation with David Spade and Dana Carvey talking
- 16:28Speaker 1: about the glut of comedy podcasts. He added quote I
- 16:33Speaker 1: meant to say Howard must feel surrounded, but I said
- 16:38Speaker 1: out flanked, which sounds terrible and insulting. It does, and
- 16:44Speaker 1: so he apologized. If you feel bad, if you do
- 16:48Speaker 1: something silly, if you say something wrong, or you do
- 16:50Speaker 1: something wrong, apologize, apologize for this. I think, Jerry, this
- 16:57Speaker 1: is the way, not the Andy Cohen way. Okay, that's
- 17:00Speaker 1: night is of the day. Let's do add naughty is
- 17:01Speaker 1: of the day. Naughty, naughty, naughteen, naughty naughty Cuba Gooding
- 17:05Speaker 1: Junior is saying, I barely know did Ya. So these
- 17:09Speaker 1: two have been hanging out four years, We've seen all
- 17:11Speaker 1: the photographs. He's addressing the recent allegations s whirling swirling
- 17:17Speaker 1: around him with connection to a lawsuit against did Ya
- 17:22Speaker 1: Cuba is saying that he doesn't even really know him.
- 17:26Speaker 1: So he said he was astonished, he was really upset
- 17:30Speaker 1: when he saw the raids on Didi's house, describing the
- 17:34Speaker 1: scene as bewildering, But he also wanted to make clear
- 17:37Speaker 1: that he barely knows did Hey. Ugh, is this the
- 17:40Speaker 1: new Mariah and Jennifer Lopez? Obviously it's a much more
- 17:44Speaker 1: serious subject to matter, But can you just walk away
- 17:48Speaker 1: from someone and pretend you didn't know them at all
- 17:52Speaker 1: when they're getting trouble? What would be better is saying
- 17:55Speaker 1: the person that I thought I knew might not be
- 17:57Speaker 1: the person they really are. But I did hang out
- 17:59Speaker 1: with them, I did see them a lot, I did
- 18:01Speaker 1: party with them. Oh I don't like this and naughtiest
- 18:05Speaker 1: of the day. Let's end with a moment of rob.
- 18:08Speaker 1: You get a rob, you get a rob, You get
- 18:09Speaker 1: a rob. Grief is all the love for a person
- 18:13Speaker 1: you have that you didn't express. Recently, somebody I know
- 18:18Speaker 1: passed away and I'm full of grief about it, and
- 18:22Speaker 1: I realized one of the reasons I'm so upset is
- 18:25Speaker 1: I never told them when they were around how much
- 18:28Speaker 1: I loved them, and I'm not gonna let that ever
- 18:32Speaker 1: happen again. Grief is an expression of love. Grief is
- 18:38Speaker 1: all the love you have for a person that you
- 18:41Speaker 1: didn't express. Express your love today, when my friends, when
- 18:47Speaker 1: my family, when they pass I don't want to have grief.
- 18:51Speaker 1: I want to have joy knowing that I was lucky
- 18:55Speaker 1: enough to have them in my life and lucky enough
- 18:59Speaker 1: for them to know just how much they meant to me. Hey,
- 19:05Speaker 1: that is it for this week. Thank you so much
- 19:08Speaker 1: for listening to The Naughty but Nice with Rob and
- 19:11Speaker 1: The Naughty Show. You're the co host today, a production
