Mother Found Not Guilty by Insanity | New York City News
A Bronx judge has ruled that 22-year-old Dimone Fleming is not guilty by reason of insanity for the fatal stabbing of her two young sons in 2022, citing postpartum psychosis as the cause. Both prosecution and defense evaluations agreed on her mental state at the time. Though acquitted, she remains in custody pending a new evaluation to determine if she still poses a danger.
