- 5:11Speaker 4: in brought to you about the Faith Project one time
- 5:14Speaker 4: for Keisha. Keisha, Now when pack writers having a bad
- 5:19Speaker 4: day or bad moment.
- 5:20Speaker 1: What's some things you do? Do you go to therapy?
- 5:22Speaker 1: Have you went to therapy? What are some things that
- 5:24Speaker 1: you do to get your mental really?
- 5:26Speaker 3: Go to the studio. I just go to the studio,
- 5:28Speaker 3: and so music is your therapy? Is event? Really like
- 5:31Speaker 3: how express myself you feeling?
- 5:33Speaker 4: Like?
- 5:33Speaker 3: How I get it out? Yeah?
- 5:36Speaker 1: Now I know that sound easy, brother, but I just
- 5:39Speaker 1: want to unpack.
- 5:40Speaker 4: It just a little bit more because you know, you
- 5:44Speaker 4: did jail time, and you had to when you were
- 5:48Speaker 4: locked up, and then you get back into society, what
- 5:51Speaker 4: is your mental state of mind?
- 5:52Speaker 1: Like, how did you get right back to it? Was
- 5:54Speaker 1: it something that was just easy for you to get
- 5:56Speaker 1: right back into it?
- 5:57Speaker 3: Or I'm gonna be real like what I went through,
- 6:01Speaker 3: Like most people would have gave her a hope on all,
- 6:02Speaker 3: Like because I was in jail hustling. Then I had
- 6:05Speaker 3: lost the money and came home broke, you feel me?
- 6:07Speaker 3: So I had to recuperate, like I had lost myself,
- 6:11Speaker 3: so I had to start from scratch. I was like
- 6:12Speaker 3: the boogets and the cleaners, you feel me, I'm paying
- 6:15Speaker 3: for yeah, my Mond the cleaner. Now though this one
- 6:18Speaker 3: man not with it.
- 6:18Speaker 4: So like, but what's the mental state of mind that
- 6:21Speaker 4: you gotta be compass to be like, damn, okay, I
- 6:24Speaker 4: gotta have a plan. I gotta do this because you know,
- 6:26Speaker 4: some people will quit and just be like, all right,
- 6:28Speaker 4: I'm done.
- 6:29Speaker 3: Have people counting on me. I know if I quit,
- 6:31Speaker 3: then a lot of people are gonna be fucked up.
- 6:32Speaker 3: So like, if I don't hustle, nobody don't eat around me, bro,
- 6:36Speaker 3: So like I try to keep them in my mental state.
- 6:39Speaker 3: I know, like I gotta do this for them every
- 6:40Speaker 3: day and for myself. You feel me, so like, that's up.
- 6:43Speaker 2: That's how you stay motivated. You motivated by other.
- 6:46Speaker 1: People know that they need. Yeah, you ain't got no choice,
- 6:49Speaker 1: Like you gotta us.
- 6:50Speaker 3: I gotta do it.
- 6:51Speaker 1: You gotta be successful. You gotta get to that bank, bro, I.
- 6:53Speaker 4: Got to And that was the mental health check in
- 6:57Speaker 4: brought to you by the Faith Project.
- 6:59Speaker 1: I go by the name for I go to n
- 7:01Speaker 1: you know, bt Keisha's in the building. Now what is
- 7:03Speaker 1: the Faith Project?
- 7:05Speaker 5: The Faith Project is an organization that assists individuals coming
- 7:09Speaker 5: out of the penal system, whether it's jail or prison.
- 7:11Speaker 5: So it's pretty much like an ex offender or someone
- 7:15Speaker 5: with a drug charge that is trying to provide self
- 7:19Speaker 5: sufficiency for themselves in a better way of living. So
- 7:22Speaker 5: we provide mental health services, whether it is drug addiction,
- 7:28Speaker 5: just allowing them to have a more healthier lifestyle.
- 7:30Speaker 4: What qualifies someone to get eligible to be a part
- 7:35Speaker 4: of the Faith Project.
- 7:36Speaker 5: The funny thing is a lot of people are sitting
- 7:39Speaker 5: in jail right now not knowing that they are eligible
- 7:42Speaker 5: to be released. For instance, if someone is a first
- 7:45Speaker 5: time offender or if they have a drug charge, the
- 7:48Speaker 5: judge or the attorneys would suggest that they get into
- 7:50Speaker 5: a program like mine to be able to provide them
- 7:53Speaker 5: with structured living. So someone that will qualify is if
- 7:58Speaker 5: they're a first time offender, they'll just content and we
- 8:01Speaker 5: were doing acceptance that they would serve their sentence with
- 8:04Speaker 5: the Faith Project instead of being incocerated. Someone that is
- 8:09Speaker 5: a drug user or has struggling with addictions or alcoholism,
- 8:13Speaker 5: they will also contact us and we'll send them through
- 8:15Speaker 5: programming so that way they can develop a healthier lifestyle.
- 8:19Speaker 2: Now, how can they contact you?
- 8:21Speaker 5: Instagram is Faith Project Underscore, Inc.
- 8:23Speaker 1: And the website is.
- 8:25Speaker 5: Faith Project atl dot org and there's a contact for
- 8:28Speaker 5: him there.
- 8:29Speaker 1: Let's get back into this episode, all right, So let's
- 8:31Speaker 1: talk about the music.
- 8:32Speaker 4: Man, go ahead and promote everything you got going, you
- 8:35Speaker 4: know what I'm saying, Like mixtape album singles.
- 8:38Speaker 3: Let's talk about at the drop on a single coming
- 8:41Speaker 3: up like next week with me and BH on Peasy Life.
- 8:43Speaker 2: Of a Truck PZ.
- 8:45Speaker 3: That's the Home and the Draw that I got the
- 8:48Speaker 3: tape from the come out King of the Here following
- 8:51Speaker 3: them Probab drop like two more singles behind that though
- 8:54Speaker 3: I don't know what singles yet though, but I'm probably
- 8:56Speaker 3: dropped like two more after the moment me and Peas
- 8:57Speaker 3: and then drop the whole mixtape.
- 8:59Speaker 2: How how you how you gonna pick your singles?
- 9:02Speaker 3: I really let my manager pick them. But like so
- 9:04Speaker 3: far we looking there, we don't pick We got like
- 9:08Speaker 3: three singles we like so far we gonna pick out
- 9:10Speaker 3: it on okay, dah yeah go for nothing.
- 9:12Speaker 4: Now, how does the artist you know that have one
- 9:15Speaker 4: foot in the streets pop potentially still for one foot
- 9:18Speaker 4: in the streets trying to get out of the streets.
- 9:20Speaker 1: How does the artist stay safe? What's some advice you'll
- 9:22Speaker 1: give an artist to stay safe?
- 9:24Speaker 3: Stay working, like stay working on the music side of it,
- 9:27Speaker 3: because if you don't, you gonna, god damn go back
- 9:29Speaker 3: to the streets. But as long as you like working
- 9:31Speaker 3: on the music side, you really ain't got time for
- 9:34Speaker 3: the streets. M feel what I'm saying, So like, you
- 9:37Speaker 3: ain't got time for this shit. So like, as long
- 9:39Speaker 3: as you're working, you straat with them. Many you start working,
- 9:41Speaker 3: ain't no income, you gonna go back to the streets,
- 9:43Speaker 3: and then you're gonna be one for that one foot.
- 9:45Speaker 3: Then you don't want to be like that.
- 9:46Speaker 1: That's dangerous.
- 9:47Speaker 3: It's dangerous, really, and you out you I'm not. I
- 9:52Speaker 3: just wrapped, that's all I do.
- 9:53Speaker 1: Okay, sack right in the building. Man, any shout outs, you.

- 10:04Speaker 1: Listen.
- 10:04Speaker 4: I don't know who he was talking to, but I
- 10:07Speaker 4: just kept saying, the South Carolina is uh they having
- 10:11Speaker 4: a nice little voice? Yeah, hey brother, it's something in
- 10:16Speaker 4: that South Carolina water. That's ah, that's motherfuckers is tapped
- 10:19Speaker 4: in now.
- 10:20Speaker 3: It's starting to wake up and see what's going on.
- 10:22Speaker 4: But y'all been had a movement because I've been tapped
- 10:24Speaker 4: into South Carolina artists, but I like to see now
- 10:27Speaker 4: I'm seeing multiple artists come.
- 10:29Speaker 2: From South CAROLINAE y'all just getting more local support now, Yeah,
- 10:34Speaker 2: because it always start and where you at, you know
- 10:37Speaker 2: what I'm saying.
- 10:38Speaker 3: Like what but like when we front though, is start
