- 0:00Hello, good morning.
- 0:01Welcome.
- 0:01I'm Samuel Trapp.
- 0:02This is International Flavor.
- 0:04I'm glad you're here with me this here
- 0:08morning from the Lake Ozark Real Estate of
- 0:13the Art Studio coming to you with all
- 0:16kinds of interesting news, lots of stuff going
- 0:22on, lots of opinion.
- 0:25And allegedly, and I believe this to be
- 0:28true, but I don't have any proof to
- 0:30back it up, but the story is that
- 0:33European nations are really facing hell right now
- 0:39over the Iran war energy disruption, that prices
- 0:44are just astronomical, that they have gone way
- 0:48in the hell up based on the things
- 0:50in the war.
- 0:54We're over here banging our drums and talking
- 0:57about the glory of war, and Hagseth gets
- 0:59to come out and talk about how glorious
- 1:02it is, and he's standing next to whichever
- 1:05general this is on TV.
- 1:06I can't see that far.
- 1:09Epic Fury.
- 1:10We have Epic Fury going on, people.
- 1:13We always have the cool names, you know.
- 1:15Desert Storm, Epic Fury.
- 1:18We're really name-heavy.
- 1:22I wonder who makes those up.
- 1:23I wonder if they have a crew of
- 1:24people sitting in a room going, how do
- 1:26we sell this to people?
- 1:28People can't be for this because folks are
- 1:32going to die, and we're just killing them
- 1:35off.
- 1:36So we want them to join us.
- 1:40We want them to buy t-shirts that
- 1:42say Desert Storm and advertise this from their
- 1:46lemonade stands over the weekend.
- 1:49And that's what we want, so we should
- 1:51sell them the right name for our new
- 1:56venture.
- 1:57And our new venture is called Epic Fury.
- 2:00My fury is of epic proportions.
- 2:03That's what it is, folks.
- 2:06I feel echo in here today.
- 2:08What is it?
- 2:08Could I have a little more echo on
- 2:09my voice, please?
- 2:10I want to be Elvis Presley.
- 2:12Oh, no.
- 2:13Let's throw some of that in there.
- 2:14Anyway, I hope you're having a good morning.
- 2:16I, for my part, am extremely tired.
- 2:19I did not sleep but a wink, if
- 2:22that, last night.
- 2:25The last I recall looking at the clock,
- 2:28it was about 4.10 in the morning.
- 2:31And I don't know what is going on,
- 2:33but there was no sleep.
- 2:35Yesterday, I spent my day in the hospital
- 2:39getting some, well, not in the hospital, the
- 2:43clinic, getting some treatment.
- 2:46Had to get that done.
- 2:48And then I went to, since I was
- 2:50in Columbia, I went to one of my
- 2:53favorite restaurants from years and years ago, but
- 2:56I haven't been in Columbia in ages.
- 2:58And I went to Teller's, and I was
- 3:01looking forward to something they call bangers and
- 3:05mash.
- 3:06And if those of you who don't know
- 3:08what bangers and mash are, it's a nice
- 3:11sausage, similar to Polish sausage, but more the
- 3:19British variety or Irish variety or whatever that
- 3:22they get in there.
- 3:22And then they put it with some mashed
- 3:24potatoes.
- 3:24Sometimes they throw some kraut on the top.
- 3:27Well, they didn't have that on the menu
- 3:29anymore.
- 3:29And I was alarmed, troubled.
- 3:31I was like, what in the hell?
- 3:32Teller's been around 100 years and no bangers
- 3:36and mash anymore?
- 3:37It's un-American.
- 3:38Well, it's not American in the first place.
- 3:40It's actually, I think, Irish, but I don't
- 3:42remember.
- 3:44But I like it either way.
- 3:46And so then they brought me out this
- 3:49plate.
- 3:49They said, well, try the menu.
- 3:51Here's the menu.
- 3:53And I look at the menu, and they
- 3:54had something like a sausage with some kraut.
- 3:58So it comes out, and guess what it
- 4:01is?
- 4:02It is a sauerkraut and sausage on a
- 4:07hoagie over a bed of mashed potatoes.
- 4:12Pretty much bangers and mash.
- 4:14And they give it to you with some
- 4:15mustard.
- 4:16It was pretty much the same thing.
- 4:17Tastes were pretty good.
- 4:18And so it looks like I got it
- 4:21in the first place, or in the second
- 4:22place, or however you want to call it.
- 4:24But that's not what I was going to
- 4:26discuss today.
- 4:28But it was very tasty when I got
- 4:30up there.
- 4:30And I'm in the market for new bicycles,
- 4:35so I wanted to get to the bicycle
- 4:36shop as well.
- 4:38I went and I had some bread.
- 4:42Since I was gone, anyway, I didn't want
- 4:46to go up there for one little thing.
- 4:49And so anyway, that was my day yesterday.
- 4:51And I don't know why, but I can't
- 4:53sleep after when I got home.
- 4:55There was no sleep in Samuel's deal.
- 4:59I watched a whole bunch of video and
- 5:02a bunch of opinion on the military action
- 5:08all over the Gulf states and all the
- 5:12stuff that's going on.
- 5:13I am not for it.
- 5:14There's no need to hide any of that.
- 5:17I'm just not for it.
- 5:18I don't see the need.
- 5:20I don't see the reason.
- 5:22I don't believe the reasons they are giving
- 5:24me.
- 5:25So I'm a bad person to talk about
- 5:29it.
- 5:30And I don't think it's justified, no matter
- 5:33how you slice it.
- 5:34It's not justified.
- 5:35You can't justify me going around to the
- 5:38other side of the world to beat the
- 5:40crap out of somebody for a region I
- 5:42don't really care about.
- 5:43We don't give a shit about that side
- 5:45of the world.
- 5:46We just don't.
- 5:47And what difference does it make to us
- 5:49as real Americans?
- 5:51Our desire, at least mine and many, many,
- 5:55many other Americans desire to be the policemen
- 5:58of the world for Israel is nil, null
- 6:04set, the zero set, as they call that
- 6:08in your absolute geometry, in your absolute stuff,
- 6:13the null set, zero.
- 6:16There is no need for us to be
- 6:17there.
- 6:18And we don't need to do what we're
- 6:21doing.
- 6:22And the Department of War, renaming it the
- 6:24Department of War was like, oh my gosh,
- 6:27it's like a forecast.
- 6:29It's like a prophecy.
- 6:31We call it the Department of War.
- 6:33And suddenly, Trump doesn't get peace prizes.
- 6:37He's going to war, hell with it.
- 6:39And there are a lot of people against
- 6:41it.
- 6:42Spain.
- 6:43So there's some Spain.
- 6:44I watched a Spain thing.
- 6:47And Spain is not happy over this.
- 6:51And I think I have some audio to
- 6:53play for you on that topic.
- 6:57And truly, I am, I think, similar to
- 7:03what they think.
- 7:05There have been, even England has said, you
- 7:09can't take off from our bases necessarily.
- 7:14Starmer hasn't been a fan of this.
- 7:16And he's not for this.
- 7:20This is the US and Israel.
- 7:23And now they have gotten a little bit
- 7:25of support from a few of the states
- 7:30in their countries in the Gulf.
- 7:34Qatar has joined in a little bit.
- 7:38Bahrain.
- 7:38But Bahrain is subject to their own.
- 7:40Bahrain is more Shia than it is Sunni.
- 7:44And so they're looking at some troubles there.
- 7:47The ruling part of the ruling clan is
- 7:53Sunni.
- 7:54But they are certainly outnumbered by the rest.
- 7:58And there's a showing of dancing in the
- 8:01streets by the Shia in Bahrain, which is
- 8:05where, which fleet is that?
- 8:06The Fifth Fleet is there.
- 8:11And we should pay attention a little bit
- 8:15to what there is, because all the Americans
- 8:17running around here, glorifying us, kicking the crap
- 8:20out of Iran, and they couldn't find Iran
- 8:23on a map, just like Ukraine drives me
- 8:27bananas.
- 8:28You know, you can't go, you wouldn't know
- 8:31how to find it.
- 8:32You wouldn't know crap about it.
- 8:34You haven't ever chosen to go there and
- 8:37see some of the historic.
- 8:39I want to go to Iran.
- 8:42I want to go to Tehran and see
- 8:46some of the 2700 years of history of
- 8:52the Persian Empire and some of the beautiful
- 8:54buildings that they have.
- 8:56And, you know, instead we're blowing them up.
- 8:59Israel is attempting to destroy them.
- 9:02And now that nobody has any air defense,
- 9:04I watched a pretty interesting air defense deal.
- 9:09Who is that from?
- 9:10Let me see if I can find it,
- 9:11because I was actually going to play some,
- 9:14a small set of it.
- 9:15Here's a guy.
- 9:18So sometimes I watch a girl who used
- 9:21to be a, if I remember her history
- 9:25correctly, she used to be a host on
- 9:30a regional, I want to say Dallas or
- 9:33something like that, regional TV news cast.
- 9:38And now she just does her own.
- 9:41A lot of people start their own channels.
- 9:43I started my own channel.
- 9:45Hers is reasonably successful.
- 9:47She has however many, she had 63,000
- 9:52views.
- 9:53Last night it was it was only 18
- 9:57,000 views.
- 9:58And this came out yesterday.
- 10:00And the guy she was interviewing is a
- 10:03guy named Mark Sloboda.
- 10:08And Mark's interesting.
- 10:09I've watched him in quite a few different
- 10:13formats and he's got his own.
- 10:16It's pretty cheaply run.
- 10:17He doesn't know how to control his green
- 10:20screen in the background.
- 10:22And so it's highly distracting even when he
- 10:24was talking with Rachel, but it was a
- 10:28good, a good show and a decent amount
- 10:32of, it was knowledgeable.
- 10:35He put some knowledgeable information out of there.
- 10:37So look up Mark Sloboda, S-L-E
- 10:39-B-O-D-A and Rachel Blevins.
- 10:42And she has 175,000 subscribers, something like
- 10:46that.
- 10:47So she gets, she gets some of her
- 10:49stuff.
- 10:50And she, the two of them were talking
- 10:54about a lot of the issues going on
- 10:58in, oh, they're, they're putting pictures of U
- 11:04.S. service members killed in the Kuwait strike,
- 11:07Sergeant First Class from Noah Taitjens from Bellevue,
- 11:13Nebraska.
- 11:15Captain Cody Cork from Winter Haven, Florida.
- 11:19Sergeant First Class Nicole Amore from White Bear
- 11:22Lake, Minnesota.
- 11:25And Sergeant, whose name I didn't catch, it
- 11:27flashed too soon, were killed in the, in
- 11:34this so far.
- 11:36And now they're talking, putting boots on the
- 11:39ground.
- 11:39Yep.
- 11:39Here we go.
- 11:41Anyway, this guy, Mark Sloboda, was talking about
- 11:45the U.S. and, and Trump's talk on
- 11:52Truth Social, whatever his platform is, that he
- 11:57was, you know, we got tons of weapons
- 12:01at the upper level at this.
- 12:03He was giving far too much detail.
- 12:05For my comfort level, why in the world
- 12:06are we even talking about it?
- 12:09We can go on for months, you know.
- 12:12But everybody's denying that.
- 12:15Ukraine is denying it because Ukraine can't get
- 12:18weapons fast enough and they're worried about losing
- 12:21their, you know, their monopoly on getting U
- 12:28.S. weaponry through, you know, being paid for
- 12:34doubly through Europe.
- 12:37And they were talking about where Rachel Blevins
- 12:41and Mark Sloboda were going, man, Europe's always
- 12:43taking it in the shorts.
- 12:45They can't catch a break for nothing.
- 12:47Now they took a beating because Russian cheap
- 12:50oil and gas were gone and they were
- 12:52already paying, you know, several times more than
- 12:56they needed to pay for it from the
- 12:59United States, especially the liquid natural variety.
- 13:02And now it's gone up another 50%.
- 13:05There's talk of, in Germany, of reopening the
- 13:09lines to Russian, at least LNG.
- 13:14And so there's been a lot of talk
- 13:16about that.
- 13:17And so watching what is going on in
- 13:20the world should frighten you.
- 13:22If anybody, and I said it again, then
- 13:24these two said the same thing.
- 13:26And it was actually a little bit alarming
- 13:28to me that they are thinking the same
- 13:31way I am, because I'm a bit of
- 13:33a doomsayer and I don't mean to be.
- 13:36But when it comes to pushing buttons and,
- 13:39you know, creating ultimate risk scenarios, we're pretty
- 13:44damn good at it.
- 13:45And, you know, we don't, we don't make
- 13:49any bones about Trump's all happy about it,
- 13:52you know.
- 13:53And I believe that the most likely person
- 13:57to push a nuclear button is Benjamin Netanyahu.
- 14:04That is what I believe.
- 14:07And that's not gonna, that's not gonna change.
- 14:12And I'm telling you, if a nuclear button
- 14:18gets pushed, it'll be pushed first by Israel.
- 14:22No doubt.
- 14:24And no doubt in my mind.
- 14:26And where will they push?
- 14:28Tehran.
- 14:29You know, they would, you know, if they
- 14:30don't get what they want, if the U
- 14:32.S. abandons them, if they really do run
- 14:34out of weapons.
- 14:37We are so close to a nuclear holocaust
- 14:40or nuclear tit for tat that, you know,
- 14:45this is frightening.
- 14:46And I don't like it.
- 14:48And people of sane mind should be really
- 14:51worried about this.
- 14:53It's, this is not, this is not a
- 14:56good scenario, no matter how you slice it.
- 14:58You can get up and have, you know,
- 15:00whatever his name, Hegseth, get up there and
- 15:03cheer this on.
- 15:04You can have Lindsey Graham slobbering at the
- 15:07mouth for more war.
- 15:08You know, he'd love to push it.
- 15:11You know, geez, why don't we start one
- 15:13while we're at it in Korea, North Korea,
- 15:15South Korea, anywhere in those areas.
- 15:19Let's do it.
- 15:19Oh yeah, it's gonna be great.
- 15:22That's him.
- 15:22Let's do it.
- 15:24And these people, Sloboda and Rachel Blevins are
- 15:27talking about, and she let him go on
- 15:29for quite a while about some of his
- 15:31thought processes on this.
- 15:33And he, he makes a lot of sense.
- 15:39He really does.
- 15:40And, uh, in, in what he is talking
- 15:42about, and there is a lot of talk
- 15:45around the world that the U S has
- 15:50really bitten off more than it can chew.
- 15:54And this is nothing but a slug fest.
- 15:59Both sides are, uh, you know, their, um,
- 16:06air defense capabilities are, are destroyed.
- 16:11You know, they are, they are in bad
- 16:16shape over this, both of them, that Patriots,
- 16:19they've already been short, you know, and they've
- 16:23already been short on that.
- 16:25Iran's were allegedly beat up in the first,
- 16:28um, in the first three, four days.
- 16:32Um, they're saying that, uh, Qatar could last
- 16:35three, four days with their defense.
- 16:38I mean, and that, uh, they won't have
- 16:40any soon.
- 16:41Oh, here's Graham.
- 16:43Oh, he's going to get up there.
- 16:44Look at him.
- 16:44Here he goes.
- 16:46I wish I could see the text on
- 16:48the bottom of this.
- 16:49We put it in, you know, what he's
- 16:50going to say more war.
- 16:52That's what we should be listening to.
- 16:53I need to learn how to run the
- 16:54TVs so that I could listen to him
- 16:57and make fun of him even more.
- 16:58Cause he's going to go, we're winning.
- 17:00We're winning.
- 17:01That's all that matters.
- 17:03It matters.
- 17:04I, I drug dragged us in, I dragged
- 17:06Trump into another war and, uh, you all
- 17:09should be happy.
- 17:10Operation epic fury.
- 17:12I was going just how we wanted it
- 17:13to go.
- 17:14We're taking out an evil regime, evil regime.
- 17:17Those would be the keywords he's going to
- 17:19evil empire.
- 17:20That's what this is.
- 17:21And, uh, you know, we should remember that
- 17:24that's our job to police the evil empires
- 17:27of the world.
- 17:29Now, now I did read also that the
- 17:32old Trumpster now has, uh, four things that
- 17:35he has outlined that are the goals now.
- 17:39And suddenly the goal, the first day was
- 17:42a regime change.
- 17:44You know, we were gonna, you know, everybody
- 17:45get up and go and, you know, take
- 17:47over your government and run them, you know,
- 17:50you know, get over there and take them
- 17:53over.
- 17:54That's what you, that's what you need to
- 17:55do.
- 17:56We've, we've helped you.
- 17:57You haven't helped a damn thing truthfully.
- 18:00And, uh, you haven't made it better for
- 18:02their own country remotely.
- 18:05You haven't helped.
- 18:06And so, uh, the, the fact that you're
- 18:08up here congratulating each other and slapping yourselves
- 18:11on the back for all the great things
- 18:14you've done, you're sadly mistaken.
- 18:17And the world will judge you quite a
- 18:19bit differently after another 20 years of turmoil
- 18:23in another middle Eastern country.
- 18:26So there you have it.
- 18:28Um, I don't believe that, uh, this happens,
- 18:33um, in a vacuum.
- 18:35Lavrov, is this issuing a nuclear warning after
- 18:38U S Israel attacks?
- 18:40Um, you know, I only read part of
- 18:43that.
- 18:43I didn't get to the end of it
- 18:44last night cause my eyes were bugging me,
- 18:46but, uh, uh, I may, um, bring that
- 18:50up to you.
- 18:51There's a, a one that I did want
- 18:53to share with you.
- 18:55And this is from China.
- 18:57Okay.
- 18:59And, uh, China's military outlines five strategic lessons.
- 19:07It says can be learned from the U
- 19:11S Israel attack on Iran and warned against
- 19:15blind faith and over reliance on outside power.
- 19:20And this is what Israel Iran.
- 19:24So the China military bugle, the official press
- 19:28of China's armed forces published a bilingual graphic
- 19:33on X on Tuesday with a commentary on
- 19:37the U S Israeli attack on Iran, which
- 19:41targeted government military nuclear sites cross country.
- 19:45The strikes also killed supreme leader Ayatollah Ali
- 19:48Khamenei and several Iranian top commanders in Tehran,
- 19:53prompting Iranian retaliation against Israel and U S
- 19:56military bases across the Gulf.
- 19:59So the, uh, article laid out five key
- 20:06takeaways.
- 20:07First it labeled internal betrayal as the deadliest
- 20:12threat in an apparent reference to recent anti
- 20:16-government protests in Iran, which Tehran claimed had
- 20:20were fueled.
- 20:21And this is no doubt true by U
- 20:24S and Israel.
- 20:25In addition, the financial times reported earlier this
- 20:29week that Khamenei's assassination is possible because of
- 20:33Israeli Netanyahu to hack nearly all of the
- 20:37CCTV cameras in Tehran.
- 20:41And, uh, so the five lessons that they
- 20:44post say the deadliest threat is the enemy
- 20:47within costliest miscalculation, blind faith in peace, coldest
- 20:52reality, the logic of superior firepower, the cruelest
- 20:56paradox, the illusion of victory and ultimate reliance
- 21:01is self-reliance.
- 21:04That's China saying the five lessons, you know,
- 21:08the deadliest threat, it will repeat them enemy
- 21:11within costliest miscalculation, blind faith in peace, coldest
- 21:14reality, logic of superior firepower, cruelest paradox, the
- 21:18illusion of victory and the ultimate reliance is
- 21:21self-reliance.
- 21:23So the post, which was called blind faith
- 21:27in peace, um, you know, China has firmly
- 21:31condemned the U S and Israel strikes as
- 21:34unacceptable denounce.
- 21:36What it describes as the blatant killing of
- 21:39a sovereign leader and the incitement of regime
- 21:41change.
- 21:42No, I'm so against this.
- 21:44I can barely stand it.
- 21:45And, uh, uh, I'm as against this.
- 21:48In fact, even more so than I am
- 21:50against going and kidnapping a leader of a
- 21:54sitting country with zero international support.
- 22:00And by the way, the UN has been
- 22:02condemning this since it happened.
- 22:04And I don't mean Venezuela.
- 22:06I mean, condemning Washington and here Lindsey Graham
- 22:09is still up there, but I wish I
- 22:10could run this because I want to hear
- 22:12this nut.
- 22:13No, although you don't need to turn it
- 22:15on to know what he's saying, you know,
- 22:17the guy's a, uh, just a huge warmonger,
- 22:21you know, he has no use.
- 22:23There's zero use to that guy.
- 22:26He has one mission and one mission only
- 22:29more war and that's that.
- 22:32And, uh, so it's, it's, uh, the, the
- 22:36rest of the world is very much against
- 22:38this though, except those who've been dragged into
- 22:41it against their will.
- 22:44Uh, Chinese foreign minister Wang Yi has also
- 22:48made his concerns known to his Israeli counterpart,
- 22:52Gideon Saar telling him during phone call that
- 22:55Iranian us negotiators had reached significant progress in
- 23:00the now collapsed nuclear talks.
- 23:03He said that the negotiations also addressed Israeli
- 23:06security concerns and Beijing calls on all sides
- 23:09to keep the strategic Strait of Hormuz open.
- 23:12Several lawyer tank oil tankers in the area
- 23:15have been hit and maritime traffic is plunged
- 23:19by 70%.
- 23:21China buys more than 80% of Iran's
- 23:25total oil output according to various estimates.
- 23:30So when I was a kid and, and,
- 23:33uh, growing up and listening to some of
- 23:36the religious stuff, I always remember one of
- 23:38the things that I always liked to, uh,
- 23:42you know, big eyed sitting in church, you
- 23:44know, on a Sunday and you'd hear about
- 23:45somebody up there giving a speech or a,
- 23:48you know, I don't know what it, what
- 23:50do you call it?
- 23:51Sermon or whatever.
- 23:53And, uh, you would hear about, and in
- 23:55that time and trouble is, is I found
- 23:59Monty Python after that Monty Python had a
- 24:03lot of the same stuff.
- 24:05And so it kind of ruined me for
- 24:06life.
- 24:07But you would remember, uh, and in that
- 24:09time a man shall steal another man's hammer
- 24:12and no one will be sure where they
- 24:15put the little things that they could find
- 24:17just the day before, but they had no
- 24:18idea where they were now.
- 24:20That's a Monty Python for you.
- 24:22But in church, I remember hearing, uh, there
- 24:25will be wars and rumors of wars.
- 24:28And I remember hearing that quite a few
- 24:30times, um, in my life and saying that
- 24:35when, when this time is upon you, you're
- 24:37in the end times, friends and neighbors.
- 24:39And, uh, and I'm not in charge of
- 24:41all of that.
- 24:42You know, I'm, I'm, I worry about it.
- 24:44Like the next person, I have my share
- 24:46of beliefs and they are my own.
- 24:48And, uh, but if you're one of those
- 24:51people that watches your revelations, uh, which I
- 24:54recall from way back in the day, uh,
- 24:57geez, we're right in the middle of it,
- 24:59you know, and everybody's justifying it.
- 25:02And how are we justifying it?
- 25:04As I told you repeatedly in the last
- 25:07few days, I am against this, uh, sort
- 25:11of religious deal.
- 25:13There was an article I read in the,
- 25:15in a us news paper.
- 25:17I wish I could remember which one where
- 25:19they are chastising quite a few military leaders
- 25:24who are calling their troops into battle in
- 25:28a battle of good and evil and saying,
- 25:31you know, God's on our side and military
- 25:33leaders doing this.
- 25:35And that's frightening to a lot of people
- 25:37going, what in the world, you know, the,
- 25:39the U S military doesn't fight for God,
- 25:42fights for the state period.
- 25:45And, uh, that was a big deal when
- 25:48I was in the military, you're not going
- 25:49to get out there and, you know, thump
- 25:51your Bible in front of the troops.
- 25:53It's not how it goes.
- 25:55And it's not, and I'm not against Bible
- 25:57thumping just to the right audience.
- 25:59And that is not the right audience.
- 26:02You know, that is, you have people from
- 26:04all over the place that believe different ways
- 26:07and don't believe that we should be fighting
- 26:09a war with the Muslims just because they're
- 26:12Muslims.
- 26:13It's nonsense.
- 26:14You know, you, there's an evil regime.
- 26:16Why is it evil?
- 26:19Nobody can dictate what that is.
- 26:21You know, nobody there, nobody can tell us
- 26:24what that is.
- 26:26It's an evil regime because Israel says so
- 26:28Israel gets to be the good guys.
- 26:30Why?
- 26:31Because the Christian Bible says so, Oh, you
- 26:34know that, uh, you know, the 12 children
- 26:36of Abraham or whatever it was that, uh,
- 26:39that were there in Judah is the one
- 26:40that's the good one.
- 26:41What?
- 26:42You know, that, that's, that, that shouldn't be
- 26:45driving the train, uh, you know, 2,500
- 26:49years later.
- 26:51And it's offensive to me that it is
- 26:55so, uh, Tehran for its part.
- 26:59And I wanted to share this with you
- 27:01because I think it's important.
- 27:03Uh, Tehran's under intense bombardment and, uh, Iran
- 27:08is condemned as wickedness and depravity us intense
- 27:13airstrikes on Iran, uh, us and Israeli bombardment
- 27:18of Iran and Lebanon has continued on Wednesday
- 27:21with fresh strikes reported at a hotel near
- 27:24Beirut and multiple districts of Tehran.
- 27:27The death toll is over 800 across both
- 27:31countries.
- 27:32U S central command, Admiral Brad Cooper said
- 27:36more that Brad Cooper, Bradley Cooper's an Admiral.
- 27:40Oh my God.
- 27:42I didn't know.
- 27:42Um, I thought he was great in that
- 27:44movie.
- 27:45Uh, what was it called?
- 27:48Oh, the one where he was a chef
- 27:50in, in, uh, um, well, I can't remember
- 27:53the name of it sad, but true, but
- 27:56I do like Bradley Cooper.
- 27:57He's been in several, several good shows.
- 27:59Uh, Oh, and you know what else he
- 28:00was good.
- 28:01And he was the one with a lady
- 28:02Gaga.
- 28:02I did like that movie and I've surprised
- 28:04that I liked a remake.
- 28:06You know, I was a little surprised on
- 28:08that.
- 28:08Although, uh, I must say I do enjoy
- 28:11the Dune remake quite a bit anyway.
- 28:14Well, I digress.
- 28:15Uh, but Admiral Bradley Cooper, uh, said more
- 28:18than 50,000 American troops, 200 fighter jets,
- 28:23two aircraft carriers, and strategic bombers are involved
- 28:26in the operation and U S secretary of
- 28:29war.
- 28:29I get every time I say, I gotta
- 28:32say it, that, you know, the secretary of
- 28:33war, that he can't be a defensive guy.
- 28:36He's gotta be the war, man.
- 28:37Uh, egg says, said that more are in
- 28:40route to the combat zone.
- 28:42Great.
- 28:43Let's dig in.
- 28:45This is BS friends and neighbors.
- 28:47Tehran launched a fourth consecutive night of retaliatory
- 28:50strikes on Israel and U S targets across
- 28:53the region.
- 28:54Strikes are reported on Washington consulate in Dubai
- 28:58and port and for, uh, Fudgy, uh, Fudgyra
- 29:02in the UAE and the U S embassy
- 29:05in Riyadh was bombed that, that looked horrifying.
- 29:10What I saw that, you know, there, I
- 29:12can't imagine, you know, although the, the U
- 29:15S allegedly told their people to shelter in
- 29:17place and not come to work to stay
- 29:19in their, their, uh, um, homes, you know,
- 29:22in, uh, Saudi Arabia, the U S embassy
- 29:25workers and stuff.
- 29:27Israeli foreign minister Gideon SAR called on foreign
- 29:30governments to sever ties with Iran.
- 29:33Iran's Islamic revolutionary guard core claims it has
- 29:37established full control over the state of Hormuz
- 29:40a choke point for roughly a third of
- 29:42the global seaborne oil trade Asian markets plunged
- 29:46as the escalating war rattled investors and fuels
- 29:51more fear of major energy disruptions is where
- 29:56Europe takes it in the shorts.
- 29:58Uh, the initial strikes on Saturday, blah, blah,
- 30:02blah.
- 30:02We already know about that.
- 30:03Uh, so say they say that, uh, several
- 30:07senior officials and hundreds of civilians, including in
- 30:11Tehran, 168 school children killed in a strike
- 30:16on an elementary school.
- 30:18The video of that, um, is not pretty.
- 30:23It is that is, uh, seriously depressing, uh,
- 30:27U S confirmed six service members killed.
- 30:30Um, 12 in Israel, Russia has condemned what
- 30:35it calls the U S practice of political
- 30:38assassination and the hunting of leaders of sovereign
- 30:42States.
- 30:44Um, they're trying to get some de-escalation
- 30:47if at all possible.
- 30:48There was an interesting article I read that
- 30:51I wanted to share with you to U
- 30:56S president.
- 30:58Trump's order to attack Iran has drawn very
- 31:03mixed reactions among Americans polls showing a clear
- 31:08public split and statements from lawmakers exposing divisions
- 31:13in both the Republican and democratic parties.
- 31:16Trump claims that the joint U S Israeli
- 31:20military campaign launched on Saturday operation epic theory
- 31:26was necessary to dismantle Iran's nuclear and ballistic
- 31:32missile programs.
- 31:34Not for the U S it wasn't not
- 31:38for the U S it matters to us.
- 31:41Not at all.
- 31:43Uh, Tehran insists the strikes were entirely unprovoked
- 31:47and has retaliated with missile and drones targeting
- 31:50Israel and U S bases across the middle
- 31:52East.
- 31:53Analysts note, the campaign launched mere days before
- 31:58primary contest began for the November midterm general
- 32:02elections in the U S by the way,
- 32:04my thought is my bet is this hurts
- 32:08Trump far more than it helps him.
- 32:11And I believe this means the, Senate and
- 32:15the house are lost.
- 32:17Now that's typical midterm anyway, and that he's
- 32:20no longer been going to be in the
- 32:22driver's seat.
- 32:23Uh, that's what I believe.
- 32:25Um, anyway, uh, has the lowest starting support
- 32:29in American history, the, the, uh, um, midterms
- 32:34coming up.
- 32:35How has the general public reacted?
- 32:39Opinion polls show growing public discontent with the
- 32:44campaign, a U gov snap poll conducted on
- 32:49the first day of strikes found that 34
- 32:52% of Americans supported the 44% opposed
- 32:58marking a historic low in initial support for
- 33:03a major U S military campaign, as opposed
- 33:07to the war in Afghanistan, 92% initial
- 33:11approval, which I think is a BS number.
- 33:14I don't believe it was that high.
- 33:16Anybody who had their head up their rear
- 33:19end was certainly a believer back then.
- 33:22Why in the world would anybody get it?
- 33:25Obviously they've never watched the princess bride, never
- 33:30get involved in a land war in Asia,
- 33:32you know?
- 33:32And the second truth is never go up
- 33:34against a Sicilian when death is on the
- 33:37line.
- 33:38And do you remember those lines from a
- 33:39beautiful movies?
- 33:40If you don't understand your princess bride, if
- 33:44you never saw it, maybe you were stupid
- 33:47enough to believe that getting into Afghanistan was
- 33:50a really good idea.
- 33:52Lindsey Graham.
- 33:53No, it wasn't.
- 33:55It was stupid.
- 33:57And in hindsight, it's too easy to see.
- 33:59Isn't it?
- 34:00Same with direct Lindsey Graham.
- 34:03What in the hell are we doing there?
- 34:04We had 71% approval of that in
- 34:07the beginning and a Reuters Ipsos poll released
- 34:11the next day, Sunday showed an even lower
- 34:13backing, which is 27% approving the U
- 34:17.S. strikes against Iran and 43% opposed.
- 34:2356%, including one in four Republicans, said Trump
- 34:28is too willing to use military force under
- 34:33the pretext of advancing U.S. interests.
- 34:38If I had been asked, I'd have said
- 34:40exactly the same thing.
- 34:42He's doing the exact same thing that's been
- 34:44going on for 30 to 50 years, making
- 34:47stuff up, using it as a basis for
- 34:51this or stretching the truth.
- 34:53Narco terrorism in Venezuela.
- 34:56No support from the U.N. No U
- 34:59.N. Security Council action.
- 35:01Nothing.
- 35:02Him acting all by his lonesome because he's
- 35:05the king of the world.
- 35:06And we've done the same thing only here.
- 35:10Now we're just following the Netanyahu's of the
- 35:15world.
- 35:15That's it.
- 35:16There's several articles out there that say Netanyahu
- 35:20had already started war and that we were
- 35:25late to that party that Rubio said that,
- 35:28you know, that we followed them after they
- 35:31had already done it, even the second time.
- 35:33That was clearly true several months ago, whatever
- 35:35it was, six, eight months ago.
- 35:37And now here we are.
- 35:40And here here's a quote for you.
- 35:42I don't see how the math works in
- 35:43our favor, or at least it seems unlikely
- 35:46it will work in our favor.
- 35:48I'm so against it.
- 35:49Damn it.
- 35:50Mike Walsh was the guy's name that put
- 35:53that out.
- 35:54And many said their support hinges on death
- 35:58of U.S. troops in the conflict, the
- 36:00first of which were reported by U.S.
- 36:02Central Command on Sunday night.
- 36:04Nobody's for the death of American soldiers there,
- 36:08there.
- 36:10Whatever happened to defense, we're on the offense
- 36:13and it's nuts and we shouldn't be.
- 36:16Is this a way to since Russia is
- 36:19otherwise occupied since China, you know, people say
- 36:23that Russia and China are both supporting Iran
- 36:27on the on the back end, Russia.
- 36:32So if you remember the the Shahid drones
- 36:38that Russia was using in the beginning, the
- 36:41cheap Iranian version drones.
- 36:45OK, these drones were supplied to Russia in
- 36:51large quantities.
- 36:52OK.
- 36:54And the Russians took them and upgraded them
- 36:58dramatically.
- 36:59And there are several reports that I saw
- 37:02yesterday that say that these drones have now
- 37:06made full circle.
- 37:07So the Iranians, when they produced them, they
- 37:10produced them in massive quantities for the Russians
- 37:13and the Russians were buying them in massive
- 37:16quantities.
- 37:16And then when they were coming in, the
- 37:18Russians improved them dramatically.
- 37:21They have their own EW systems in their
- 37:24electronic warfare, that they have their own electronic
- 37:27warfare platforms embedded in the drone.
- 37:32And these drones are now called the Duran,
- 37:34the geranium.
- 37:35And these drones are pretty good size, you
- 37:39know, little.
- 37:40They look like a stealth bomber, but small,
- 37:43very small.
- 37:44You know, maybe what two meters across five,
- 37:48five, six feet.
- 37:49Right.
- 37:50And they're they're they're everywhere.
- 37:53The Russians are manufacturing, but tons of these,
- 37:57as are the Iranians.
- 38:00And now the Iranians are getting them from
- 38:02the Russians and the the Chinese are supplying
- 38:07through the back end.
- 38:08You know, this is Iran is one of
- 38:12the largest contributors, a large member of the
- 38:15BRICS alliance and has avoided sanctions, you know,
- 38:20for years.
- 38:21And the training, the trading, I mean, between
- 38:24these three countries is deep.
- 38:27And, you know, if anybody, all of the
- 38:30the Qatar, who'd they call Russia?
- 38:33Can you help us out?
- 38:36Can you help us out?
- 38:37Will you talk to Iran?
- 38:38We don't want them bombing us.
- 38:40We don't want to have to join the
- 38:41U.S. And Russia said, geez, you guys
- 38:43made your bed.
- 38:45You know, you're the ones there.
- 38:46There's a lot of talk that this is
- 38:49going to boot the U.S., even on
- 38:50the Western sides, that this is going to
- 38:53boot America out of the Persian Gulf.
- 38:57And a lot of people, they're quite happy
- 38:59about that eventuality.
- 39:02Get the Americans out.
- 39:04What would the world we do in there
- 39:05anyway?
- 39:05You know, except the bidding of Israel.
- 39:10Seriously, what do we do in there?
- 39:13And people are wondering, why are our people
- 39:18now over there dying for something very, very
- 39:21few of us care a lick about?
- 39:24You know, we don't.
- 39:26And that's how it is.
- 39:27Anyway, the Reuters poll said that Trump, you
- 39:34know, remember that poll, 56, one in four
- 39:37Republicans said Trump is too willing to use
- 39:39military force under the pretexts of advancing U
- 39:43.S. interests.
- 39:44It's definitely a pretext.
- 39:45Many said support hinges on the death.
- 39:48CENTCOM said three members have been killed.
- 39:52Now we're up to six, allegedly.
- 39:54I believe it's much higher than that, but
- 39:56that's me.
- 39:56I don't believe numbers ever come out accurately.
- 40:02And this is nonsense.
- 40:04CNN poll conducted and released on Monday found
- 40:08nearly six in 10, 59 percent of Americans
- 40:13oppose military action against Iran.
- 40:16Some 60 percent believe Trump lacks a clear
- 40:20plan.
- 40:21I believe he lacks a clear plan.
- 40:23And 62 percent say he should be required
- 40:27to obtain congressional approval for further actions.
- 40:33One of the Republicans said reaction on Capitol
- 40:36Hill is split, reflecting divisions in both parties,
- 40:40bipartisan concern that Trump failed to seek required
- 40:43congressional authorization for preemptive strikes.
- 40:49Early reports said Secretary of State Marco Rubio
- 40:54only notified the Gang of Eight, a small
- 40:58bipartisan group of congressional warmongers, I call them,
- 41:04hours before the operation began.
- 41:06Most Republican senators defend Trump's decision.
- 41:12Lindsey Graham, of course, is out there praising
- 41:15Donald Trump for setting in motion the end
- 41:17of evil and darkness in the Middle East.
- 41:20My ass, if you believe that, you don't
- 41:23know a damn thing about the Middle East,
- 41:25do you?
- 41:27They see us as the evil in darkness,
- 41:31especially in Iran.
- 41:34So House Speaker Mike Johnson said Iran is
- 41:37facing the severe consequences of evil actions.
- 41:40Who gets to decide who's evil?
- 41:43I mean, seriously, that's the problem.
- 41:46And that's what I always talk about.
- 41:47It's always in who's making the interpretation.
- 41:52So Trump, you know, he argued, did Speaker
- 41:57Johnson.
- 41:57Trump has made every effort to pursue peaceful
- 42:01and diplomatic solutions.
- 42:03That is not true either.
- 42:05They were actually having discussions.
- 42:10Those were false, according to Netanyahu.
- 42:13He said, no, we made this plan two
- 42:16weeks ago.
- 42:17We knew we were bombing two weeks earlier.
- 42:20Once again, the Americans and the Israelis kept
- 42:26the speech going to hide the ball.
- 42:33Senator Tom Cotton says, a vital mission of
- 42:38vengeance.
- 42:39Who are we to give vengeance to somebody
- 42:41for Israel of injustice and safety?
- 42:45What is justice?
- 42:46Where where do you get this definition?
- 42:50However, a faction of Republicans has broken ranks,
- 42:54citing constitutional concerns and a betrayal of campaign
- 42:59promises.
- 43:00This is what I don't like.
- 43:01I'm one of those people who believes Trump
- 43:04was going to be the president of peace.
- 43:06Right.
- 43:08But nope, he is just as bad as
- 43:10the other warmongers, at least as far as
- 43:13war goes and start your own, you know,
- 43:16World War three actions.
- 43:18Thomas Massey, a congressman from Kentucky, said the
- 43:22war contradicts Trump's America first slogan.
- 43:27Rand Paul opposes the strikes on constitutional grounds,
- 43:31saying the power to declare war belongs to
- 43:33Congress.
- 43:33That's true.
- 43:34But we know presidents have been ignoring that
- 43:37for 30, 40 years, which I disagree with.
- 43:41But hell, nobody's paid attention to that.
- 43:45Former Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene accused the administration
- 43:49and I saw this one who's with Megyn
- 43:51Kelly.
- 43:52Wow.
- 43:52She was harsh.
- 43:53And I may even have that for you
- 43:55somewhere.
- 43:56She accused the administration of abandoning its no
- 43:59more foreign wars platform, calling the escalation a
- 44:03letdown for the movement.
- 44:07And you know what?
- 44:08Let me see if I got that.
- 44:09She was on a tear when I saw
- 44:13that.
- 44:13Let me see if I can find her,
- 44:16because that was hella.
- 44:20She was on a roll.
- 44:22Let me see.
- 44:22And I know I watched that.
- 44:24I just got to find it.
- 44:26Oh, here it is.
- 44:28Now, I don't like it.
- 44:29Unfortunately, I couldn't find it separately.
- 44:32So there's some guy chatting about it first.
- 44:34And I want to make sure I take
- 44:35off this stuff that was only talking about
- 44:38her.
- 44:39And I don't want to hear the the
- 44:42dude that was making comment on it.
- 44:46I only want to hear her.
- 44:47So here we go.
- 44:49And yep, she was with Megyn Kelly.
- 44:52And I'm on the wrong channel.
- 44:54But here's what we're going to listen to.
- 44:56She has a nice room that she does
- 44:58her videos out of on the Megyn Kelly
- 45:00show, you know, his mental state.
- 45:03And who is he doing this for?
- 45:06Because it's not for the American people.
- 45:08He's lying.
- 45:09He's done.
- 45:10Okay, let's listen to that again.
- 45:12Because I missed it in the first.
- 45:13Who is he doing it for?
- 45:15That's a legitimate question.
- 45:17And I'm no huge Marjorie Taylor Greene fan.
- 45:19I don't I don't care one way or
- 45:21the other.
- 45:21Everybody has their own, you know, agenda.
- 45:24And she's got her own.
- 45:25I don't know what her plans are in
- 45:27the future.
- 45:27But I always thought she was pretty straight
- 45:29up, called it said it like it was,
- 45:31you know, she's a huge Trump supporter.
- 45:33And I didn't really pay much attention to
- 45:35her leaving or anything like that.
- 45:38But here we go.
- 45:41Let's listen to this, though.
- 45:43Oh, now I get a spinning wheel.
- 45:45Hold on.
- 45:46And I know you're not willing to go
- 45:48there.
- 45:48But I am.
- 45:48I really want to know what is his
- 45:51mental state and who is he doing this
- 45:54for?
- 45:55Because it's not for the American people.
- 45:57He's lying.
- 45:58He's gone back on what he promised.
- 46:00No more foreign wars.
- 46:02No more regime change.
- 46:03All right, folks.
- 46:05Yeah.
- 46:05And that's the quote I wanted to get.
- 46:07The rest of it was some some guy
- 46:09talking about analysis there.
- 46:11I wanted to get it.
- 46:12Jeffrey Sachs calls him a psychopath.
- 46:15He went pretty far.
- 46:17And I thought about playing that one, but
- 46:20I really didn't want to put him in
- 46:22there.
- 46:23And, you know, it's it's an unbelievably interesting
- 46:32time in which we live.
- 46:37And you know what?
- 46:38I'm going to take a bit of a
- 46:39break right now because here it is about
- 46:42halfway through the show.
- 46:43And I have been into old, old music
- 46:48recently.
- 46:49And here is something from 1963.
- 46:57And whether you like the guy or not,
- 47:00this is something pretty darn cool.
- 47:04And many of you may know it already,
- 47:07but it's Bob Dylan at the Newport Folk
- 47:12Festival in 1963.
- 47:16And I'm going to share it with you
- 47:18and then we'll get back to our topic
- 47:21of the day.
- 47:37And this is a song about iron ore
- 47:41mines and iron ore town.
- 47:55Come and gather round friends and I'll tell
- 47:59you a tale.
- 48:01Of where the red iron ore pits run
- 48:04a plenty.
- 48:06But the cardboard filled windows and old men
- 48:09on the benches.
- 48:12Tell you now that the whole town is
- 48:15empty.
- 48:19In the north, in the town, my own
- 48:22children have grown.
- 48:24But I was raised on the other.
- 48:29In the wee hours of youth, my mother
- 48:32took sick.
- 48:34And I was brought up by my brother.
- 48:40Oh, the iron ore poured as the years
- 48:44passed the door.
- 48:45The drag lines and shovels, it was a
- 48:48humming.
- 48:49Oh, one day my brother failed to come
- 48:53home.
- 48:55The same as my father before him.
- 49:04With a long winter's wait from the window
- 49:08I watched.
- 49:09My friends, they couldn't have been kinder.
- 49:13And my schooling was cut as I quit
- 49:17in the spring.
- 49:19To matter John Thomas, a miner.
- 49:25The years passed again and the giving was
- 49:29good.
- 49:30With the lunch buckets filled every season.
- 49:34But with three babies born, the work was
- 49:38cut down.
- 49:39To a half a day's shift with no
- 49:42reason.
- 49:46And the shaft was soon shut and my
- 49:49work was cut.
- 49:51And the fire in the island fell frozen.
- 49:55Until a man come to speak.
- 49:58And he said in one week that number
- 50:0111 was closing.
- 50:07They say in the east they are paying
- 50:11too high.
- 50:12They say that your ore ain't worth digging.
- 50:16That it's much cheaper down in the South
- 50:20American towns.
- 50:21Where the miners work almost for nothing.
- 50:28So the mining gates locked and the red
- 50:31iron rotted.
- 50:33And the room smelled heavy from drinking.
- 50:37And the sad silent song made the hour
- 50:41twice as long as I waited for the
- 50:44sun to go down.
- 50:49I lived by the window as he talked
- 50:53to himself.
- 50:54The silence of tongues it was building.
- 50:59Till one morning's week they bet it was
- 51:03bad.
- 51:04And I slept alone with three children.
- 51:07And this summer is gone.
- 51:13The ground's turning cold.
- 51:15The stars one by one they're folding.
- 51:20My children will go as soon as they
- 51:24grow.
- 51:27For there ain't nothing here now but to
- 51:30hold them.
- 51:36Pretty cool, huh?
- 51:38I like watching those old music festivals and
- 51:45stuff like that.
- 51:49You can go out and find them on
- 51:51the internet.
- 51:53You can watch Woodstock.
- 51:55You can get some of that and see
- 51:57some of the very interesting shows.
- 52:02Now, that particular video, if you can find
- 52:04it, it's Bob Dylan and the North County
- 52:07Blues using Newport Folk Festival in 1963.
- 52:13And it's, you know, I never thought of
- 52:16Bob Dylan that way.
- 52:19And pretty darn interesting.
- 52:22Anyway, I have a pretty wide and varied
- 52:26musical taste.
- 52:29And so I have quite a bit of
- 52:33stuff.
- 52:34So allegedly in this war that right now
- 52:37would there have been that NATO is intercepting
- 52:41Iranian missiles near Turkey.
- 52:45So a Turkish airspace through Syria, said Turkey.
- 52:51NATO's anti-aircraft systems in the eastern Mediterranean
- 52:54shot down an Iranian ballistic missile headed for
- 52:59Turkey, the country's defense ministry said.
- 53:02The projectile was detected traveling through Iraq and
- 53:06Syria and was destroyed in a timely manner
- 53:10by the U.S.-led military bloc, said the
- 53:13Turkish defense ministry.
- 53:15Debris from the interceptor missile used to destroy
- 53:19fell in the southern Turkish province of Hatay,
- 53:22if I've said that correctly, although it inflicted
- 53:25no damage on the ground.
- 53:26We urge all parties to refrain from taking
- 53:29steps that lead to further spread of conflict
- 53:32in the region.
- 53:33We will continue to consult NATO and our
- 53:36other allies in this context, it said.
- 53:38Ankara reserves the right to respond to any
- 53:41hostile action against our country and will take
- 53:43every step necessary to defend our territory and
- 53:46airspace.
- 53:47Turkish military did not elaborate on where exactly
- 53:50the debris was shot down.
- 53:52Ankara distanced itself from the ongoing U.S.-Israeli
- 53:56attacks on Iran, insisting it had not helped
- 54:00Washington in any fashion.
- 54:02Now, quite a few countries have done this,
- 54:04and Turkey is one of them.
- 54:05Turkey does not permit any of its air,
- 54:10land, or maritime assets, including its airspace, to
- 54:15be used for operational purposes in any conflict
- 54:19or war to which it is not a
- 54:22party.
- 54:23And there's been some real fallout over this,
- 54:26not just from Turkey, but for the U
- 54:32.S., I mean.
- 54:33This is why Spain is so upset.
- 54:37Spain said, nope, you can't use our airspace,
- 54:41you can't use airfields in Spain to launch,
- 54:44you know, even though they're joint-housed, that
- 54:48the U.S. and Spain.
- 54:50Now, this is a big deal, right?
- 54:52Well, Spain says, oh, no, no, no, no,
- 54:57we don't want anything to do with this.
- 54:59And they do not.
- 55:00And Starmer has said similar things.
- 55:03He said that he isn't allowed.
- 55:04So there is some certain large rifts going
- 55:08on right now over this action.
- 55:13And the U.S. has overstepped once again.
- 55:17And there's a reason that 60% of
- 55:19us are against this action.
- 55:23You know, who in the world?
- 55:24I don't know.
- 55:25I hear so many people say, oh, gee,
- 55:27it's an evil empire.
- 55:28Oh, yeah, there we go.
- 55:30The evil empire thing again.
- 55:32OK, Lindsay, you know, the hope hope you
- 55:35get elected again.
- 55:36You know that now that the military industrial
- 55:39complex will send you some more money, that's
- 55:42good.
- 55:43Claims circulating on certain social media platforms that
- 55:46Turkey supports the recent attacks against Iran are
- 55:50entirely unfounded and constitute disinformation aimed at misleading
- 55:57the public, said the country's Center for Combating
- 56:01Disinformation on Saturday.
- 56:05That's what Turkey has said.
- 56:08So I tell you what, like I said
- 56:13yesterday, day before, I believe ultimately this leads
- 56:17to nuclear issues.
- 56:22Using, you know, Israel will be the first
- 56:26to use them, no doubt in my mind
- 56:28who it would be.
- 56:31And Sergei Lavrov, I told you I only
- 56:34read part of this article, but I want
- 56:37to share it with you.
- 56:39So Lavrov said that the U.S. and
- 56:43Israeli attack on Iran could spurt nuclear problems.
- 56:49Washington and West Jerusalem say they launched their
- 56:52joint assault on Saturday to prevent Iran from
- 56:57obtaining nuclear weapons, repeating the justification they used
- 57:01last year in attacks on Iran.
- 57:05On Tuesday, Lavrov criticized Whitkoff, Stephen, one each,
- 57:11special envoy for President Donald Trump for calling
- 57:15Iran's insistence on its right to uranium enrichment
- 57:19unacceptable.
- 57:21Whitkoff told Fox News, we of course responded
- 57:25that the president feels we have the inalienable
- 57:28right to stop you dead in your tracks.
- 57:31Where do you get the inalienable right?
- 57:35Inalienable?
- 57:36Why that particular adjectival use of a word?
- 57:41Nonsense.
- 57:42Maybe you think you have the right, but
- 57:43what makes it inalienable?
- 57:47I got the inalienable right to kick your
- 57:51ass.
- 57:51What?
- 57:53Where are you from?
- 57:55Why do you speak like this?
- 57:56Nonsense.
- 57:57If this logic is pushed, I guarantee the
- 58:01powerful forces will arise in Iran seeking exactly
- 58:05what the United States seeks to prevent, to
- 58:09make a nuclear bomb because people who have
- 58:12nuclear bombs don't get attacked by the U
- 58:16.S., said Lavrov.
- 58:18Iran's right to a peaceful nuclear program, including
- 58:23uranium enrichment, is recognized under the nonproliferation treaties,
- 58:28which allows such activity with IAEA safeguards.
- 58:34In a seemingly paradoxical twist, the declared noble
- 58:39cause of preventing nuclear proliferation through war will
- 58:44stimulate the opposite trend.
- 58:47He added that foreign diplomats told him the
- 58:50fate of Libyan leader Gaddafi, who abandoned his
- 58:54nuclear program only to be overthrown and killed
- 58:58in the 2011 NATO-backed uprisings, serves as
- 59:02a powerful argument for getting nuclear weapons.
- 59:06Iran maintains that weapons of mass destruction are
- 59:09forbidden under Islam.
- 59:11The late Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei assassinated
- 59:15in the opening phase issued a spiritual decree
- 59:18against nuclear arms in the 1990s.
- 59:22Tehran denies Israeli claims that it secretly seeks
- 59:25nuclear capability in violation of the fatwa.
- 59:31Meanwhile, France is expanding its nuclear arsenal, according
- 59:36to Macron.
- 59:37No nation could shield itself from a nuclear
- 59:41strike, the president has said.
- 59:44France will expand its nuclear arsenal as part
- 59:47of the nation's new nuclear strategy.
- 59:50Macron argued that the nation can only ensure
- 59:54its security by being feared.
- 59:58Here we are with peace through strength again,
- 1:00:00right?
- 1:00:01The announcement came during a keynote speech on
- 1:00:04Monday at a military base hosting the country's
- 1:00:07ballistic missile submarines.
- 1:00:09He justified the need to review the nuclear
- 1:00:12posture and the need to adapt to what
- 1:00:14he says is a new reality.
- 1:00:17Russia's ongoing development of its nuclear arsenal and
- 1:00:20China's efforts to catch up militarily with the
- 1:00:23US as a key threat.
- 1:00:26The EU and NATO have used the supposed
- 1:00:29Russian threat to justify massive military spending hike.
- 1:00:34I have decided, said Macron, to increase the
- 1:00:38number of warheads of our arsenal.
- 1:00:41He said, if we have to use our
- 1:00:44arsenal, no state, however powerful, could shield itself
- 1:00:49from it and no state, however vast, would
- 1:00:53recover from it.
- 1:00:56Well, since I was in the treaty business
- 1:01:01years ago, I also wanted to share this
- 1:01:05with you.
- 1:01:06It's an article shared on the 29th of
- 1:01:10January, so a little while ago, a little
- 1:01:13more than a month ago.
- 1:01:16It's called No Treaty, No Rules.
- 1:01:20What the expiration of the START, the New
- 1:01:23START Treaty, means for deterrence, transparency, and the
- 1:01:27global order.
- 1:01:29Why the collapse of the US-Russia arms
- 1:01:32control framework is more about transparency and missile
- 1:01:38defense.
- 1:01:40I don't agree with this, by all of
- 1:01:41it, but it's a good point of view.
- 1:01:45On February 5, the New START Treaty between
- 1:01:48Russia and the US officially expires, lifting the
- 1:01:52legally binding limits on global nuclear arsenals.
- 1:01:55Essentially, this means that the world would enter
- 1:01:58a potentially dangerous phase of unlimited nuclear arsenal
- 1:02:03expansion, like what Macron is planning.
- 1:02:08New START was signed in 2011 for a
- 1:02:11term of 10 years and an option to
- 1:02:12extend it for another five, a provision that
- 1:02:16Moscow and Washington utilized in 2021.
- 1:02:20But the agreement does not allow for further
- 1:02:22extension.
- 1:02:23And last September, President Putin proposed to Washington
- 1:02:28that both sides continue to adhere to the
- 1:02:30treaty's quantitative limits on strategic nuclear forces for
- 1:02:35another year.
- 1:02:37President Trump called this a good idea, but
- 1:02:40the US has yet to respond officially to
- 1:02:43Putin's initiative.
- 1:02:44The treaty limits the number of deployed strategic
- 1:02:47nuclear warheads for both countries to 1,550,
- 1:02:52including 800 deployed and non-deployed launchers and
- 1:02:56700 deployed intercontinental ballistic missiles, submarine launch missiles
- 1:03:02and heavy bombers.
- 1:03:04As of January 2025, according to the Stockholm
- 1:03:08International Peace Research, Russia possesses a total of
- 1:03:134,309 warheads and the US has 3
- 1:03:17,700.
- 1:03:18Generally, experts see little risk of a rapid
- 1:03:23increase in deployed nuclear arms as a system
- 1:03:26of nuclear deterrence developed over the past decades
- 1:03:30functions effectively.
- 1:03:32Therefore, sudden shift toward an arms race between
- 1:03:35the two nations is unlikely, according to a
- 1:03:39guy named Pavel Sharikov, a researcher at the
- 1:03:45European Integration Studies.
- 1:03:47But the US may begin developing missile defense
- 1:03:52systems to bolster its nuclear intent.
- 1:03:55That is almost certain.
- 1:03:58Trump has already announced plans for a Golden
- 1:04:00Dome missile defense system and his ambitions to
- 1:04:04acquire Greenland fit this trend, said Sharikov.
- 1:04:09For the past several years, the US is
- 1:04:11pursuing a policy aimed at revising or even
- 1:04:15dismantling arms control treaties.
- 1:04:18In 2002, the US withdrew from the 1972
- 1:04:23anti-ballistic missile treaty.
- 1:04:27During Trump's first term, Washington exited two other
- 1:04:31key agreements, 1987 INF Treaty and the 1992
- 1:04:36Open Skies Treaty.
- 1:04:38Trump's lack of interest in extending start and
- 1:04:42the desire to instead conclude some other great
- 1:04:45deal are consistent with his general foreign policy
- 1:04:49strategies, or lack thereof, I would say.
- 1:04:53The most significant blow to the arms control
- 1:04:56system after the expiration of New Start will
- 1:04:59be a general decline in transparency and trust
- 1:05:03between nuclear powers.
- 1:05:06I happen to agree with that.
- 1:05:08That's exactly what's going to happen.
- 1:05:10The most we can hope for is a
- 1:05:12politically binding agreement on adhering to limits on
- 1:05:15launchers and warheads, achieving a comprehensive agreement like
- 1:05:19the New Start sign in Prague would take
- 1:05:21years.
- 1:05:25One of the key factors hindering establishment of
- 1:05:28new strategic arm reduction treaty is China's growing
- 1:05:32nuclear arsenal.
- 1:05:34The US expressed a desire to involve Beijing
- 1:05:37in nuclear deterrent talks, citing the need to
- 1:05:40increase China's nuclear transparency.
- 1:05:44China currently possesses about 600 nuclear warheads and
- 1:05:48this arsenal is expanding faster than that of
- 1:05:51any other country by about 100 warheads a
- 1:05:55year since 2023.
- 1:05:57Experts note that by the early 2030s, China
- 1:06:01will catch up with Russia and the US
- 1:06:03in the total number of warheads.
- 1:06:07No one is stopping China from expanding and
- 1:06:10it doesn't have to answer to anyone about
- 1:06:13it.
- 1:06:14That's why Trump wants Beijing involved in the
- 1:06:17agreement.
- 1:06:18However, this is a complicated process and it's
- 1:06:21hard to envision how to transform from a
- 1:06:24bilateral agreement, Moscow Washington, into a trilateral one,
- 1:06:29including Beijing.
- 1:06:30Moscow shares similar concerns about Europe's nuclear arsenal,
- 1:06:35which Macron says we're gonna build some more,
- 1:06:41you know, which is also not restricted by
- 1:06:44any deterrents.
- 1:06:46None.
- 1:06:46The only two that had any were the
- 1:06:48US and Russia and US doesn't want any
- 1:06:51of that stuff.
- 1:06:54France and the UK have 290 and 225
- 1:06:58warheads respectively.
- 1:07:01Germany, which lacks its own weapons, participates in
- 1:07:05NATO's nuclear sharing program.
- 1:07:08Dmitry Peskov, who's a presidential spokesman for Russia,
- 1:07:13noted in January, we must not forget Putin's
- 1:07:16statement that discussing a new treaty without considering
- 1:07:20the arsenal of France and the UK is
- 1:07:23not feasible.
- 1:07:25Thus, both the US and Russia are looking
- 1:07:28to expand the list of participants in a
- 1:07:32new comprehensive nuclear arms limitation treaty.
- 1:07:36And remember, I reported to you a couple
- 1:07:38of weeks ago, the guests who wants to
- 1:07:40have their own nuclear weapons.
- 1:07:43And I imagine they will.
- 1:07:44So I don't know why we're all bent
- 1:07:46out of shape about Iran wanting them, because
- 1:07:49Poland sure as hell wants them.
- 1:07:51And they say they're gonna get them.
- 1:07:53And Germany still wants them.
- 1:07:55And they say they're gonna get them.
- 1:07:57Where are the talks about non-proliferation for
- 1:08:01them?
- 1:08:02Where's that?
- 1:08:04Nobody even mentions that part, do they?
- 1:08:07There's also a risk of how non-nuclear
- 1:08:10states will react as they watch the action
- 1:08:13of Russia and the US.
- 1:08:16A guy named Nikolai Sokov, a senior fellow
- 1:08:20at the Vienna Center for Disarmament and Non
- 1:08:22-Proliferation, published an article on the organization website.
- 1:08:26For years, non-nuclear weapon states have increasingly
- 1:08:31criticized nuclear arms states for failing to implement
- 1:08:36Article 6 of the Non-Proliferation Treaty, which
- 1:08:41obliges them to pursue nuclear disarmament.
- 1:08:45The expiration of the new start only months
- 1:08:48before the NPT review conference, beginning on the
- 1:08:5327th of April in New York, will likely
- 1:08:56intensify these concerns.
- 1:08:58A joint US-Russian announcement committing to observe
- 1:09:02at least some element of the expired treaty,
- 1:09:06especially if paired with a pledge to resume
- 1:09:08negotiations, would help mitigate a looming crisis.
- 1:09:14Experts say that after the expiration of the
- 1:09:16new start, the focus will shift toward defensive
- 1:09:20measures and missile defense systems rather than the
- 1:09:24development of offensive weapons.
- 1:09:27And if you believe that, I don't believe
- 1:09:32that.
- 1:09:33They're going to stay on offense, no doubt,
- 1:09:36in my humble opinion.
- 1:09:41So, well, France is going to build up
- 1:09:44its nuclear stockpiles.
- 1:09:46We're going to love that.
- 1:09:49Lavrov on his, let's see, we already shared
- 1:09:55this.
- 1:09:56Where else are we going?
- 1:10:01Did everybody hear Trump call Zelensky P.T.
- 1:10:07Barnum?
- 1:10:08I wish I had that.
- 1:10:09I don't, but I wish I did.
- 1:10:12And that was, it's a comical, comical deal
- 1:10:20here.
- 1:10:22Thousands, where is this?
- 1:10:24Trump and Zelensky, here it is.
- 1:10:26This is funny stuff.
- 1:10:29So, P.T. Barnum is now comical.
- 1:10:35U.S. President Trump, oh, I watched a
- 1:10:37really interesting show, Maria Zakharova, and I wish
- 1:10:41you guys spoke Russian along with me because
- 1:10:43I can't, I don't have a translation, but
- 1:10:45it was harsh when she was talking about
- 1:10:48Zelensky.
- 1:10:48And she did like a 15-minute, she
- 1:10:51was getting interviewed by somebody and some channel
- 1:10:54in Russia.
- 1:10:55And it was all about Zelensky and her
- 1:10:58thoughts on Zelensky and how, you know, he
- 1:11:00started out as a clown.
- 1:11:02He was a druggie, huge.
- 1:11:04He loved Russia, huge, for years and years
- 1:11:07and years, and talked all about his recruitment
- 1:11:09to be the face of Ukraine and how
- 1:11:14that went on, his lies about all of
- 1:11:17the election nonsense or the lack thereof.
- 1:11:25And boy, that was a harsh one.
- 1:11:27And I might have to share a little
- 1:11:29bit with you tomorrow on that because it
- 1:11:32was a good one.
- 1:11:32But there's another one where Trump says Zelensky's
- 1:11:35P.T. Barnum.
- 1:11:37So, U.S. President Trump made the remarks
- 1:11:41Tuesday while criticizing Joe Biden for providing unconditional
- 1:11:46military aid to Ukraine.
- 1:11:48In a post on True Social, Trump wrote,
- 1:11:51U.S. munition stockpiles have never been higher
- 1:11:54or better.
- 1:11:55Now, why in the world do you got
- 1:11:56to put that out?
- 1:11:58Why?
- 1:11:59Seriously, he's putting that out because everybody's saying
- 1:12:03that the U.S. doesn't have the capacity
- 1:12:05to continue this forever.
- 1:12:08So, no, no, no, we're great.
- 1:12:10Why?
- 1:12:11Why are you talking?
- 1:12:13Why respond with information that nobody needs to
- 1:12:17know?
- 1:12:18I don't understand this, that he must report
- 1:12:21every thought that he has.
- 1:12:23It's got to be put out there on
- 1:12:25True Social.
- 1:12:26Sleepy Joe, here's the next one.
- 1:12:29It's always about Biden.
- 1:12:31I don't understand this.
- 1:12:32Sleepy Joe Biden spent all of his time
- 1:12:35and our country's money giving everything to P
- 1:12:39.T. Barnum, Zelensky of Ukraine, hundreds of billions
- 1:12:43of dollars worth.
- 1:12:45And while he gave so much to of
- 1:12:48the super high end away free, he didn't
- 1:12:51bother to replace it.
- 1:12:52So first, he says we can go on
- 1:12:55forever.
- 1:12:55Then he says he didn't bother to replacement.
- 1:12:58Fortunately, I rebuilt the military in my first
- 1:13:01term and continue to do so.
- 1:13:04He rebuilt the military in his first term.
- 1:13:06But according to him, Sleepy Joe gave it
- 1:13:09all away.
- 1:13:11Right.
- 1:13:12Oh, my God.
- 1:13:13Look at this.
- 1:13:15Here we are talking about Lindsey Graham on
- 1:13:19March the third is going all the way
- 1:13:20back to 1979.
- 1:13:23And that's that's all that matters to him
- 1:13:25is 1970 guys.
- 1:13:26Oh, I shouldn't say stuff like that.
- 1:13:28I don't mean to.
- 1:13:30Anyway, Trump has previously dubbed Zelensky, the comedian,
- 1:13:33actor and TV producer, the greatest salesman on
- 1:13:36earth.
- 1:13:36Who knows how to convince people to open
- 1:13:38their wallets better than Barnum did.
- 1:13:42So that's funny.
- 1:13:46Spain.
- 1:13:47Well, I already told you about that.
- 1:13:49Oh, geez.
- 1:13:53Here's Serbia coming out, though.
- 1:13:55Serbia is no fan of this.
- 1:13:58Alexander Vukic in Ankara, Turkey.
- 1:14:02Let's see.
- 1:14:03European nations are facing hell over Iran war
- 1:14:08energy disruption.
- 1:14:11European nations are facing literal hell due to
- 1:14:14energy price surge caused by the Israel U
- 1:14:17.S. war with Iran, said Serbian President Alexander
- 1:14:21Vukic.
- 1:14:22Tehran's retaliation to the regime change military action
- 1:14:26launched on Saturday disrupted crude and LNG throughout
- 1:14:30the Straits of Hormuz, a critical maritime choke
- 1:14:33point with markets already in shock.
- 1:14:36Import dependent nations are on the brink of
- 1:14:40a major crisis.
- 1:14:42We are entering an impossible situation.
- 1:14:46If this continues, everyone in Europe will have
- 1:14:49a literal hell.
- 1:14:51Unless the Strait of Hormuz is opened, oil
- 1:14:54prices will kill us all.
- 1:14:56Belgrade is preparing to roll out fuel subsidies
- 1:15:01and is fortunate to have significant reserves, he
- 1:15:04said.
- 1:15:05Thousands of commercial ships are unable to transit
- 1:15:09the strait due to the hostilities.
- 1:15:12Iranian forces have threatened to attack any vessel
- 1:15:15attempting to cross and have struck several oil
- 1:15:18tankers.
- 1:15:19Tehran aims to raise the cost of the
- 1:15:23attack for the U.S. and its allies.
- 1:15:25The Americans, with debts of thousands of billions
- 1:15:28of dollars, it's actually trillions, are dependent on
- 1:15:31the region's oil.
- 1:15:32But they should know that not a drop
- 1:15:35of oil will reach them, said Ibrahim Jabari,
- 1:15:38commander of IRGC.
- 1:15:42U.S. President Trump announced on Tuesday that
- 1:15:46Washington intends to offer insurance at a very
- 1:15:49reasonable price.
- 1:15:51Yeah, that's going to help.
- 1:15:53Why don't I give you insurance if you're
- 1:15:55if you're afraid of dying?
- 1:15:57Well, you know, don't worry about that.
- 1:15:59We'll have insurance while the unfolding energy slump
- 1:16:03poses a global risk.
- 1:16:06U.S. allies in Europe are particularly vulnerable
- 1:16:09due to their politically motivated rejection of Russian
- 1:16:13supplies and reliance on LNG imports, including from
- 1:16:18Qatar.
- 1:16:19European gas reserves are depleted.
- 1:16:23Germany, the EU's largest consumer, began March with
- 1:16:27a storage at 27 percent of capacity compared
- 1:16:31to an average of 64 percent for this
- 1:16:34time of year since 2023, according to industry
- 1:16:38data.
- 1:16:40I think it's important to look at how
- 1:16:43the energy markets have responded.
- 1:16:47Yesterday, they say that oil jumped 15 percent,
- 1:16:53topped $84 a barrel.
- 1:16:56European gas has surged 30 percent.
- 1:17:00Energy markets have come under pressure.
- 1:17:03U.S. and Israeli strikes on Iran have
- 1:17:06prompted Tehran to retaliate with missile and drone
- 1:17:09strikes on Israel and U.S. bases.
- 1:17:12Iran has also targeted oil facilities.
- 1:17:16There was a big hit in Bahrain at
- 1:17:20the largest oil refinery.
- 1:17:23There was one in Qatar at the largest
- 1:17:26oil refinery.
- 1:17:27Saudi Arabia's largest oil refinery have all been
- 1:17:32struck, all of them.
- 1:17:34And they were hit because there aren't enough
- 1:17:37defense.
- 1:17:40Qatar said it had three, four days of
- 1:17:42defense.
- 1:17:44And by the way, all the Iranians have
- 1:17:47learned from the Russians in Ukraine what to
- 1:17:52do.
- 1:17:53And the nonsensical Zelensky goes out there and
- 1:17:58says, listen, Qatar and Saudi Arabia and all
- 1:18:02you guys down there, if you can talk
- 1:18:03Putin into giving us a ceasefire for 30
- 1:18:08days, I'll come down there with our guys
- 1:18:10and we'll protect you.
- 1:18:13We'll show you how to defeat the drones
- 1:18:16that Russia upgraded for Iran.
- 1:18:21All you got to do is, according to
- 1:18:24Zelensky, is get Russia to agree to a
- 1:18:2730-day ceasefire.
- 1:18:29The guy's a nut.
- 1:18:30He's in some kind of dream world.
- 1:18:33So is oil pricing in a wider war?
- 1:18:37Oil prices surged more than 15 percent, extending
- 1:18:42gains on Tuesday because it's getting worse.
- 1:18:45Brent crude topped $84 a barrel on Tuesday.
- 1:18:50I paid for gas yesterday and I was
- 1:18:53all excited about this for the last couple
- 1:18:56of months.
- 1:18:56I've been talking about the average price of
- 1:18:58gas being $2.69 or whatever.
- 1:19:04And every third, third, what you call it,
- 1:19:10I'll put in a premium, right?
- 1:19:13Premium's already at $3.89 or something to
- 1:19:17buy premium, depending on where you go.
- 1:19:20And to get a regular, it's full $3.
- 1:19:26It's gone up like 30, 40 cents.
- 1:19:29And so there you have it.
- 1:19:32So the highest level benchmark hit $82 the
- 1:19:35previous session.
- 1:19:37So this is the highest since 2024, mid
- 1:19:41-24.
- 1:19:42Traders are pricing in a significant risk premium
- 1:19:45amid concerns that escalating military action would grow.
- 1:19:48Analysts are warning prices will go higher than
- 1:19:51$90 a barrel if that waterway continues to
- 1:19:55be disrupted.
- 1:19:56Europe's gas shock natural gas prices have gone
- 1:20:00way up, $700 per thousand cubic meters, the
- 1:20:04highest since 2023.
- 1:20:06Spike follows Iran's retaliatory strikes on Qatari liquefaction
- 1:20:11facilities, prompting Qatar Energy, the world's third largest
- 1:20:15LNG exporter, to halt production entirely.
- 1:20:21With 20% of global LNG transiting the
- 1:20:25Strait of Hormuz and Qatar's export corridor with
- 1:20:29no bypass capacity, analysts warn a severe supply
- 1:20:34tightness.
- 1:20:35That doesn't do anything bad for America.
- 1:20:38That'll help us make some big money to
- 1:20:40fund our wars, right?
- 1:20:42Allegedly.
- 1:20:42But if we could get out of debt,
- 1:20:45but we'll go into further debt because all
- 1:20:49these missiles being taken out by Iran drones
- 1:20:52and that they're using, tell you what, those
- 1:20:56are multi-million dollars for each one fired.
- 1:21:02You know what we should look at?
- 1:21:04Let's look at, because we don't have a
- 1:21:06whole lot of time here remaining today.
- 1:21:09Let's go back and say how much money
- 1:21:15has been spent on missiles fired into
- 1:21:25Iran by the US?
- 1:21:30What does it cost?
- 1:21:32Let's see here.
- 1:21:33How much could the Iran war cost the
- 1:21:38United States?
- 1:21:39Here is what we know.
- 1:21:43Predicting the total cost of course is difficult,
- 1:21:46but 200 fighter jets, where are they going
- 1:21:50to get the fuel?
- 1:21:51Well, seriously, long running confrontation between the US
- 1:21:55and Iran entered a new phase Saturday.
- 1:21:58Trump signals that operations will last four to
- 1:22:01five weeks is what he says.
- 1:22:03That's nonsense.
- 1:22:05It'll go much longer than that.
- 1:22:06In my humble opinion, somebody can tell me
- 1:22:09I'm wrong later.
- 1:22:11On February 28, Trump confirmed an eight minute
- 1:22:14video posted on True Social that the US
- 1:22:17is in a major combat operation in Iran.
- 1:22:21Pentagon later said the mission, blah, blah, blah,
- 1:22:24to ensure that Iran does not obtain a
- 1:22:27nuclear weapon.
- 1:22:29That's it.
- 1:22:30We're going to destroy their missiles and raise
- 1:22:33their missile industry to the ground.
- 1:22:36It will be totally obliterated.
- 1:22:39The US military said it struck more than
- 1:22:411250 targets in Iran since Saturday.
- 1:22:46In a separate statement, CENTCOM said it struck
- 1:22:49and destroyed 11 Iranian ships.
- 1:22:52There was also one I saw that was
- 1:22:54off of Sri Lanka was destroyed by a
- 1:22:57submarine.
- 1:22:58US sub took out an Iranian ship over
- 1:23:01there, allegedly.
- 1:23:03The operation reportedly involved airstrikes, sea launch cruise
- 1:23:06missiles, coordinated attacks on nuclear facilities, as well
- 1:23:09as on senior figures linked to Iran's defense.
- 1:23:13On Monday, Trump promised to pursue the war
- 1:23:16for as long as necessary, suggesting it will
- 1:23:19extend several weeks.
- 1:23:20On Monday, Iranian Red Crescent said that 555
- 1:23:24people killed in 130 locations.
- 1:23:26How much has the US already spent since
- 1:23:302023 in the Middle East and Israel?
- 1:23:34According to Brown University 2025 Cost of War
- 1:23:38Report, since October 7, 2023, the day that
- 1:23:48Israel had that, the US has given Israel
- 1:23:52$21.7 billion in military aid.
- 1:23:58In addition, the American taxpayer has funded US
- 1:24:02operations in support of Israel in Yemen, Iran,
- 1:24:06and the wider Middle East of $9.65
- 1:24:09billion to $12.07 billion.
- 1:24:13That brings total US spending connected with the
- 1:24:16conflict to between $31.35 billion and $33
- 1:24:20.77 billion.
- 1:24:23Which weapons systems are being used in Iran?
- 1:24:27According to CENTCOM, Epic Fury involves more than
- 1:24:3120 weapons systems across air, sea, and land
- 1:24:34missile defenses.
- 1:24:35CENTCOM says more than 1,000 targets have
- 1:24:38been struck using more than 20 different systems.
- 1:24:40The focus of the US and Israel is
- 1:24:42now to blunt or degrade as quickly as
- 1:24:44they can the offensive capabilities of Iranians to
- 1:24:48keep wreaking havoc.
- 1:24:49You want to stop these attacks or at
- 1:24:51least diminish them as much as you can.
- 1:24:53I say, had you not attacked, they wouldn't
- 1:24:56have occurred.
- 1:24:57The Iranians have only fired back.
- 1:25:02That's it.
- 1:25:03You know, there wouldn't be any threat if
- 1:25:07you hadn't started the war.
- 1:25:10So the focus, you know, being to blunt
- 1:25:12them.
- 1:25:13Here we go.
- 1:25:13Campaign relied heavily on air assets.
- 1:25:17B-1 bombers, B-2 stealth bombers, F
- 1:25:20-35 Lightning II and F-22 Raptor, advanced
- 1:25:24stealth F-15 fighter jets.
- 1:25:26Three were lost in an incident over Kuwait.
- 1:25:29F-16 Fighting Falcon, F-18 Super Hornet,
- 1:25:33and A-10 attack jets all confirmed for
- 1:25:35strike and support roles.
- 1:25:36EA-18 Growlers used for electronic attack and
- 1:25:40suppressing enemy air defense.
- 1:25:42Airborne early warning and control aircraft for your
- 1:25:45AWACS providing command and battle.
- 1:25:48Drones and long-range strikes, unmanned Lucas drones.
- 1:25:52This operation marks first combat use of the
- 1:25:55low-cost unmanned combat attack system.
- 1:25:58One-way drones, reverse engineered from Iranian designs.
- 1:26:03So the US has stolen Iranian technology and
- 1:26:06is creating their own design for these Lucas
- 1:26:09drones.
- 1:26:09MQ-9 Reaper drones, active in surveillance and
- 1:26:13precision strikes.
- 1:26:14M-142 high mobility artillery rocket HIMARS.
- 1:26:19Tomahawk cruise missiles launched from naval assets.
- 1:26:22Patriot intercept missiles.
- 1:26:25And THAAD, Terminal High Altitude Area Defense, used
- 1:26:30to intercept Iranian ballistic missiles and drones.
- 1:26:33And they are working very well, by the
- 1:26:35way.
- 1:26:35Two carrier strike groups led by the Gerald
- 1:26:38Ford and Abraham Lincoln providing massive sea-based
- 1:26:42power.
- 1:26:42P-8 Poseidons conducting maritime patrols.
- 1:26:45Cargo and tanker C-17 Globemaster, C-130
- 1:26:48Hercules, and various aerial refueling tankers maintaining logistics.
- 1:26:54How much it will cost.
- 1:26:56The Pentagon has not published that information, so
- 1:26:59we can only speculate.
- 1:27:01But there's a lot of moving pieces and
- 1:27:03we can speculate on the cost of the
- 1:27:06individual weapon.
- 1:27:08Reports by the Anadolu News Agency estimate that
- 1:27:14the US may have spent $779 million during
- 1:27:21the first 24 hours of Operation Epic Fury.
- 1:27:27The pre-strike military buildup, including repositioning aircraft,
- 1:27:32deploying a dozen naval vessels, and mobilizing regional
- 1:27:35assets, is reported to have cost an additional
- 1:27:39$630 million.
- 1:27:41According to the Center for New American Security,
- 1:27:44it costs approximately $6.5 million a day
- 1:27:49to operate a carrier strike group like the
- 1:27:53USS Gerald Ford.
- 1:27:56Gerald Ford is the newest United States aircraft
- 1:27:59carrier in the world's largest with more than
- 1:28:015,000 sailors on board.
- 1:28:04And this has allegedly horrible sanitation problems because
- 1:28:09these guys haven't been home in over a
- 1:28:11year.
- 1:28:12And allegedly, they're sabotaging the own toilet networks
- 1:28:15and there are 45-minute lines to use
- 1:28:18the bathroom, was what was reported by that
- 1:28:20Rachel Blevins and company yesterday.
- 1:28:24So big time money being spent.
- 1:28:28Well, we're going to continue in this tomorrow.
- 1:28:31Today is Wednesday, the longest day in radio
- 1:28:34and the best day in radio from international
