- 0:07[SPEAKER_00]: Jacksonville Jaguar fans, welcome in to Dove All Daily, because it's my ginjack.com.
- 0:10[SPEAKER_00]: I'm Jordan Aluga, thanks so much for being here.
- 0:12[SPEAKER_00]: Sunday, October 12th, and you're Jaguars, they have fallen to four and two.
- 0:16[SPEAKER_00]: They lose 20 to 12 in Jacksonville.
- 0:20[SPEAKER_00]: to the Seattle Seahawks.
- 0:21[SPEAKER_00]: The Seahawks are now foreign to the Jaguars are now foreign to as well, very disappointing showing for your Jaguars.
- 0:27[SPEAKER_00]: We're going to talk about it here right here right now.
- 0:30[SPEAKER_00]: Really appreciate you being here.
- 0:31[SPEAKER_00]: If you enjoy the content, obviously, please like and subscribe.
- 0:34[SPEAKER_00]: Really appreciate y'all getting us to 10,000 subscribers.
- 0:37[SPEAKER_00]: Unbelievable milestone here on the channel.
- 0:40[SPEAKER_00]: Unfortunately, the Jack Wars were not able to win their fourth straight game against a quality opponent.
- 0:48[SPEAKER_00]: The Seahawks, as we talked about all week, they are a quality football team.
- 0:52[SPEAKER_00]: They're well-coached.
- 0:54[SPEAKER_00]: They have a lot of talent on both sides of the ball, they have some really good players.
- 0:58[SPEAKER_00]: Didn't think that this would be a runaway victory.
- 1:01[SPEAKER_00]: I did think that there would be some things, some elements of this game that would play out differently than they did.
- 1:07[SPEAKER_00]: So we're going to talk about it.
- 1:09[SPEAKER_00]: Again, really appreciate you being here.
- 1:11[SPEAKER_00]: If you want to support the channel for that you can obviously check out gynjag.com, pick up some new dooval gear like that I'm wearing right now.
- 1:20[SPEAKER_00]: Look, 20 to 12 jackwares fall to 4 and 2 as we mentioned.
- 1:25[SPEAKER_00]: The Travis Hunter and Air Jordan and getting together with the pals.
- 1:31[SPEAKER_00]: combination is now no longer undefeated.
- 1:33[SPEAKER_00]: It's four and one on the season, but it is what it is.
- 1:37[SPEAKER_00]: Talking about this football game realistically, there was a lot that went wrong for the Jaguars.
- 1:41[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, the fact that the team had the chance, multiple times, late in the game, to put together a game tying drive.
- 1:53[SPEAKER_00]: When you watch this game, I tell my buddies this, watching this football game.
- 1:58[SPEAKER_00]: If you weren't keeping track of the score,
- 2:01[SPEAKER_00]: Just watching the game, it felt like the Seahawks were the better team.
- 2:06[SPEAKER_00]: It felt like the Seahawks were the more prepared team, the more physical team, the better team.
- 2:12[SPEAKER_00]: It did.
- 2:13[SPEAKER_00]: I think objectively, just watching the game, that's what it looked like.
- 2:17[SPEAKER_00]: And even with that, and even with missing a field goal that should have been made, an extra point that should have been made, also not being able to convert on a two-point conversion
- 2:32[SPEAKER_00]: leaving those five points on the board.
- 2:34[SPEAKER_00]: The Jaguars would have been down three late in the game instead of down eight.
- 2:42[SPEAKER_00]: They were right there.
- 2:44[SPEAKER_00]: Even with committing 10 penalties, even with the pre-snap issues, even with the Brian Thomas Jr.
- 2:52[SPEAKER_00]: touchdown, that very easily could have been interception.
- 2:55[SPEAKER_00]: They got called back because Travis Hunter was called for off side.
- 3:00[SPEAKER_00]: very close.
- 3:01[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, it was right there on the ball where he was lined up and he was pissed off about it the next play.
- 3:07[SPEAKER_00]: He was very aggressively and antagonistically making sure with the official that he was lined up on side on the next play.
- 3:18[SPEAKER_00]: And you know, he probably could handle that a little bit better.
- 3:21[SPEAKER_00]: But
- 3:23[SPEAKER_00]: Lot to get into overall, shout out to Wesley, Josh Heinz Allen's son who had been battling cancer and was an honorary captain, unbelievable story.
- 3:33[SPEAKER_00]: Shout out to him.
- 3:36[SPEAKER_00]: Early in this game, Jack's offense, sputtering a lot, run a lot of screens, not doing a whole lot of things, and then you see the fake screen.
- 3:46[SPEAKER_00]: Brian Thomas Jr.
- 3:47[SPEAKER_00]: touched down.
- 3:49[SPEAKER_00]: I was like, man, Brian Thomas Jr.
- 3:53[SPEAKER_00]: He was he was really cooking.
- 3:57[SPEAKER_00]: He was having a damn good game as I kind of thought he would.
- 4:02[SPEAKER_00]: You know, he had eight receptions for 90 yards, a touchdown, 10 targets, 10 targets and eight receptions.
- 4:08[SPEAKER_00]: But the one drop, the one drop by Brian Thomas Jr.
- 4:16[SPEAKER_00]: was at the worst possible time.
- 4:20[SPEAKER_00]: And it was a play he had to make.
- 4:23[SPEAKER_00]: So you had one where earlier in the game, he slipped coming out of the route and it was over the middle.
- 4:30[SPEAKER_00]: And you're like, oh, did he alligator on it?
- 4:31[SPEAKER_00]: No, he slipped coming out of the route.
- 4:32[SPEAKER_00]: He did his best just to get into a position to be able to get a hand on the ball and kind of bat it to the ground a little bit.
- 4:39[SPEAKER_00]: But the third down drop later in the game was unacceptable.
- 4:47[SPEAKER_00]: It was a good game overall, but you had some drops.
- 4:51[SPEAKER_00]: I think when you look at this game from the Jaguar's offense perspective, I expected the Jaguar's to struggle running the ball a bit.
- 4:59[SPEAKER_00]: I thought Trevor Lawrence would be able to get it going a little bit more with his legs.
- 5:03[SPEAKER_00]: I thought Travis E.T.
- 5:04[SPEAKER_00]: and Jr would be able to get it going a little bit more with his legs than they did.
- 5:08[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, the Seahawks defensive front was fantastic against the Jaguars.
- 5:16[SPEAKER_00]: both as a run defense unit, and especially in the past rush department.
- 5:21[SPEAKER_00]: The Jaguar's offensive line for the first time in 2025 looked out matched.
- 5:29[SPEAKER_00]: It did.
- 5:30[SPEAKER_00]: And I'm not gonna put that all on Robert Hainesy, not being there in Jonah Monheim being there.
- 5:34[SPEAKER_00]: They're like, there were guys losing one on ones that they should not lose.
- 5:38[SPEAKER_00]: Not executing on assignments that they normally execute on.
- 5:41[SPEAKER_00]: And yes, we talked about it.
- 5:46[SPEAKER_00]: Leonard Williams, Byron Murphy, the Marcus Lawrence is back.
- 5:50[SPEAKER_00]: You know, you have, you're tuning in to Wosu.
- 5:54[SPEAKER_00]: You have, you know, Ernest Jones was available in this game, which was a big deal.
- 6:02[SPEAKER_00]: He was kind of questionable earlier in the week.
- 6:05[SPEAKER_00]: Missing a little bit of practice time.
- 6:06[SPEAKER_00]: He came back, boy, I'm off a in the game.
- 6:09[SPEAKER_00]: Mike Morris, Tyre snipe the youngster.
- 6:16[SPEAKER_00]: They have a good defensive front, but you expected, with the Vonweather Spoon, Tarik will enjoy and love all and available.
- 6:25[SPEAKER_00]: She killed Griffin having to play a lot of snaps.
- 6:28[SPEAKER_00]: You expected the jag wars to, on some level, be able to really kind of dice them up a bit.
- 6:36[SPEAKER_00]: And Trevor Lawrence.
- 6:40[SPEAKER_00]: 27.042, 258 passing yards.
- 6:42[SPEAKER_00]: I thought he would have around 250 passing yards.
- 6:44[SPEAKER_00]: I didn't think it would be on 42 attempts.
- 6:47[SPEAKER_00]: I didn't think it would be with seven sacks.
- 6:51[SPEAKER_00]: Most of which, I would put on the offensive line, got their ass kicked.
- 6:57[SPEAKER_00]: Was Trevor Lawrence perfect in this game, no?
- 7:00[SPEAKER_00]: No.
- 7:00[SPEAKER_00]: He hasn't been perfect in a single game while you're.
- 7:02[SPEAKER_00]: Has any quarterback been perfect in a game while you're?
- 7:05[SPEAKER_00]: I'm not sure.
- 7:07[SPEAKER_00]: But Trevor Lawrence was not perfect.
- 7:09[SPEAKER_00]: Was he the, and after addresses, because I get all the sorts of comments, like, oh, Trevor Lawrence, they gotta get rid of him, they gotta trade him, they gotta do this, do that.
- 7:19[SPEAKER_00]: He was not the problem for the Jack Wars today.
- 7:22[SPEAKER_00]: Did he have a throw or two, he'd like back short, but was he the problem for the Jacks?
- 7:27[SPEAKER_00]: No.
- 7:29[SPEAKER_00]: The problem, in my opinion, on the offensive side of the ball,
- 7:35[SPEAKER_00]: was past protection.
- 7:36[SPEAKER_00]: It was a trussious.
- 7:38[SPEAKER_00]: And then you have some other issues, right?
- 7:40[SPEAKER_00]: Trevor Lawrence missing a few throws, receivers dropping a few throws, running backs just no room to work, which that was kind of expected.
- 7:50[SPEAKER_00]: I expected the jacks to get closer to 100 yards than they did.
- 7:53[SPEAKER_00]: They ended up only getting 59 rushing yards.
- 7:57[SPEAKER_00]: Travis CTN really tough, sledding, basal toton, really touched the ball.
- 8:00[SPEAKER_00]: Trevor Lawrence, I expected him to have
- 8:07[SPEAKER_00]: Um, you know, the usage of Travis Hunter, I mean, he had seven targets and, you know, he had another unbelievable move where he made a guy mess and, and, uh, so he continues to have like at least one highlight play every week, but maybe you'd like to see him out there more, I don't know, and then defensively, um, the turnovers weren't there
- 8:38[SPEAKER_00]: You would like to believe that you'll get the turnovers every single week, but there will be some weeks where you don't get them.
- 8:45[SPEAKER_00]: This was one of those weeks where the Jags just despite their best efforts could not punch the ball out, could not get that in yourception, and overall that's difficult.
- 9:00[SPEAKER_00]: I think for this team right now to overcome,
- 9:04[SPEAKER_00]: because they're not used to having to overcome it.
- 9:07[SPEAKER_00]: Every single week, until this week, they have forced a big turnover.
- 9:12[SPEAKER_00]: Last week, they only had the one, but it was a 99 yard pic six.
- 9:16[SPEAKER_00]: So it was a pretty game-changing play, right?
- 9:24[SPEAKER_00]: I still think that this is gonna be a team that does force turnovers a lot.
- 9:27[SPEAKER_00]: I think that they face a very well-coached team.
- 9:30[SPEAKER_00]: Mike McDonald, a great defensive coach.
- 9:32[SPEAKER_00]: Clinton Kubiak continues to prove himself as an offensive, offensive, I don't want to say mastermind, but a very good offensive coach, you know, they're still getting the best out of Sam Darnl.
- 9:44[SPEAKER_00]: Sam Donald has yet to have that moment or several moments in a game for the Seahawks where it's like, oh gosh, wheels are starting to fall off here, which you've seen every single season of his career so far.
- 9:57[SPEAKER_00]: You saw it in Jacksonville last year, kind of expected to see it again today.
- 10:01[SPEAKER_00]: Didn't happen.
- 10:02[SPEAKER_00]: Jaguar's past rush didn't really do a good job overall.
- 10:07[SPEAKER_00]: There were some moments where they heated up the quarterback with some blitzes.
- 10:10[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, there was like a all-out blitz where, you know, late in the game, third down.
- 10:15[SPEAKER_00]: It was a, you know, really gutsy call by Anthony Camponele and it worked, but not enough.
- 10:24[SPEAKER_00]: And then looking at the defense in general, like, couldn't cover Jackson Smith and Jake, but it saved your life.
- 10:33[SPEAKER_00]: And I know everybody wants to be quick to be like, oh my god, you traded ties and came off with Greg News, I mean, it gives a touchdown to Jacksonman and Jigba.
- 10:41[SPEAKER_00]: Do we look lost on that play?
- 10:44[SPEAKER_00]: And he looked lost several times in this game.
- 10:46[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, this is going to be a game he wants to forget.
- 10:48[SPEAKER_00]: This is going to be a game where he wants to bounce back in a big way next week in London against the Rams, right?
- 10:58[SPEAKER_00]: Um, not a good game for doing weird multiple times and coverage this week where he just did not look like he had it um, late in the game just going through some notes here back to back penalties on Chuma adoga was unbelievable.
- 11:13[SPEAKER_00]: He was in the game for Patrick McCary and then back to back penalties are like, all right, get out and put Patrick McCary back in the brand Thomas junior drop
- 11:25[SPEAKER_00]: The deami throw, come back route, sideline a little bit before that, probably should have been caught, but not a great throw by Trevor Loan, so yeah, that's one of those throws he'd probably like to have that could be a little bit, you know, up off the ground, better position for deami to catch it, but it should have been caught, you got another 100 long drop, you got one where it looked like Travis Hunter kind of just stuck one arm out there and maybe could have had a little bit better effort on the ball, but not a great throw.
- 11:54[SPEAKER_00]: Uh, another one that Trevor would probably like to have back, um, again, you leave five points on the board, as well as teams, but is there panic at the kicker position now?
- 12:07[SPEAKER_00]: Cam Little has now missed three field goals, all makeable, an extra point now as well.
- 12:14[SPEAKER_00]: And the ones today, I mean, they were shanks, they were bad news bears that that does
- 12:23[SPEAKER_00]: uh Logan Cook had another day that's probably forgettable tell you what Parker Washington's lucky that his muffed punt bounced right out of bounds.
- 12:37[SPEAKER_00]: You look at the numbers overall for Logan Cooke.
- 12:39[SPEAKER_00]: It's like eight puns for 49.1 average.
- 12:42[SPEAKER_00]: All that stuff.
- 12:43[SPEAKER_00]: You have that two inside the 20 along a 61.
- 12:46[SPEAKER_00]: But there were a couple puns where he could have put the Jaguars in a lot better position defensively than he did.
- 12:52[SPEAKER_00]: And I don't think that this game was quite up to his standard.
- 12:56[SPEAKER_00]: Most of the season hasn't been quite up to his standard.
- 13:01[SPEAKER_00]: You want to give some credit to Buster Brown, not perfect today at all, but he had a huge drive in the second early on in the third quarter where two pass breakups down the field beyond the first down marker.
- 13:17[SPEAKER_00]: That was pretty impressive, Devon Lloyd injured on the day.
- 13:22[SPEAKER_00]: didn't return after early in the game, leaving the game, so that's something we're going to have to monitor for sure.
- 13:27[SPEAKER_00]: I thought that the drive where you saw Jackson Smith and Jigbo beat Buster Brown, and this was in the first half, or excuse me, the first play to start the second half, first drive to start the second half.
- 13:39[SPEAKER_00]: Jackson's been then Jigbo gets Buster Brown on a in-breaking route, kind of like a glancer
- 13:48[SPEAKER_00]: got a big first down and then you saw the Cooper Cup touchdown against Jordan Lewis.
- 13:53[SPEAKER_00]: They were absolutely destroying the Jaguar's coverage leverage.
- 13:58[SPEAKER_00]: It was like, if you're going to line up there, we're going to run this and it's going to be perfect and it exactly was like, Buster Brown had outside leverage on Jackson Smith and Jigba on that play.
- 14:09[SPEAKER_00]: There was nobody to help inside.
- 14:13[SPEAKER_00]: and Jackson Smith and Jigwood gives him a little bit of contact right at the, you know, in flexion point, and then darts inside and buster has no chance.
- 14:23[SPEAKER_00]: Again, give a lot of buster, credit to buster Brown for those past breakups a little bit later, but that play he had no chance, and then the Jordan Lewis and Cooper Cup one.
- 14:32[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, it was a great throw by Sam Donald who, again, had a very good game.
- 14:38[SPEAKER_00]: Cooper Cup had outside leverage,
- 14:41[SPEAKER_00]: Jordan Lewis had inside leverage going to be difficult to win that match up and Jordan Lewis did a pretty good job, but it was just an on the money throw a really good route.
- 14:50[SPEAKER_00]: It was like perfect timing and coordination and there was nothing the Jaguars could do about it.
- 14:55[SPEAKER_00]: Special teams wide out of that match and the punts, the mistakes, and then also at the end of the first half, you have seven seconds.
- 15:05[SPEAKER_00]: Um, well, I think you had 10 seconds when the kickoff happened after the Seahawks got some points on the board, Lee Quint Allen slides down to stop the clock and on the next play you down it.
- 15:19[SPEAKER_00]: That didn't make any sense to me.
- 15:20[SPEAKER_00]: Why are you sliding to stop the clock and in the play, the return if you're just going to down it on the very next play?
- 15:29[SPEAKER_00]: With seven seconds left after you slide,
- 15:33[SPEAKER_00]: is they're not with three-time outslift, is they're not an opportunity to try to take a shot to get within Camlittles range or you just completely shot on Camlittles.
- 15:43[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know.
- 15:46[SPEAKER_00]: But a major strength coming into this season, which was Camlittle and Logan Cook has not been a strength for the Jaguars.
- 15:54[SPEAKER_00]: It has not.
- 15:55[SPEAKER_00]: As I mentioned, they couldn't really cover Jackson's method in Jagua.
- 15:59[SPEAKER_00]: Kudos to him, unbelievable player.
- 16:05[SPEAKER_00]: It wasn't perfect, like they did a better job on him, maybe, maybe.
- 16:09[SPEAKER_00]: Then they did on Jamar Chase.
- 16:10[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, Jamar Chase had, it was just like eating all day.
- 16:14[SPEAKER_00]: Jackson's been in Jacob, it was a little bit more sparse.
- 16:18[SPEAKER_00]: And just had, you know, if you take away, which we're not.
- 16:23[SPEAKER_00]: But if you take away his 61-yard touchdown where it was Greg Newsome and primary air coverage and it seemed like, do we should have been helping out
- 16:35[SPEAKER_00]: Um, you're talking about seven catches for about eighty seven catches for about a hundred one yards, which is still unbelievable, but that was different than what Jamar Chase did because Jamar Chase, it was just like all game long, like 14 catches on 16 targets, right?
- 16:57[SPEAKER_00]: This was a little bit more like chunk plays
- 17:00[SPEAKER_00]: It probably ultimately has the same result and same effect on the game, but it just didn't quite feel as dominant by Jackson Smith and Jacob overall.
- 17:10[SPEAKER_00]: You get eight catches for 162 yards on 13 targets, you're going to feel pretty damn good about it.
- 17:15[SPEAKER_00]: 20 yards per catch, whereas in that game against the bingles, another loss for the Jaguars, the only two losses for the Jaguars on the season, Jamar Chase had a much more reasonable average yards per catch, but it was just like insanely efficient.
- 17:30[SPEAKER_00]: So it's like two different ways of beating you.
- 17:32[SPEAKER_00]: This one was just the explosives, right?
- 17:35[SPEAKER_00]: And you know, the 61-yarder being the biggest example of that.
- 17:38[SPEAKER_00]: But there was multiple explosive plays down the field, where the Jaguars just didn't really have any ability to cover Jackson Smith and Jagua.
- 17:47[SPEAKER_00]: Obviously the AJ Barner, that was one of the ones where it looked like
- 17:54[SPEAKER_00]: I looked like he was tired, 61 yard completion couldn't keep up with them and then just dance in to try to stay in front of him and wait for somebody else to come make the play and make the tackle.
- 18:07[SPEAKER_00]: That was pretty tough stuff there to watch for doing a wing or no unfortunately.
- 18:14[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, couldn't cover Jackson Smith and Jigua, had a couple other plays that were pretty bad.
- 18:23[SPEAKER_00]: Again, I think that this was the first time the Jaguar's offensive line got exposed, you had some of the old mistakes you've seen from this football team, but they fought.
- 18:35[SPEAKER_00]: Therefore, in two, I think they're going to continue to fight.
- 18:39[SPEAKER_00]: I think that Liam Cohen is going to get them prepared to play football and London against the Los Angeles Rams.
- 18:44[SPEAKER_00]: I expect that to be a very closely contested game.
- 18:48[SPEAKER_00]: Again,
- 18:49[SPEAKER_00]: Falling 2012, only a one-score game, even though I think you watch this game and you're like the Seahawks are the far better team.
- 18:56[SPEAKER_00]: And Kudos to everyone who picked them this week.
- 18:59[SPEAKER_00]: I did not.
- 19:00[SPEAKER_00]: I picked the jags.
- 19:01[SPEAKER_00]: The jags would be able to impact the interior of the offensive line against the Seahawks a little bit more than they did from a past-rush standpoint.
- 19:18[SPEAKER_00]: And when he did, it was kind of looked like it would be nice to have your left hand instead of just a club.
- 19:27[SPEAKER_00]: As much as we want to kind of like think about like, oh, club, you can just beat the crap out of the opponent.
- 19:32[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I think that the hand usage and technicality that he plays with is probably a little underrated and he could use that second hand in this one, certainly.
- 19:44[SPEAKER_00]: But I think you got to get a lot of credit to C-Hawks and for the Jack Wars, you got to try to correct the issues, mental mistakes in this game, and you know, technical mistakes and just try to flush it.
- 19:58[SPEAKER_00]: Cause you just didn't play your best ball, pretty simple.
- 20:02[SPEAKER_00]: Especially the offense.
- 20:03[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, if the offensive line has another performance like this,
- 20:07[SPEAKER_00]: You know, there's rumors that the Jaguar is going to be looking to add to their defensive tackle room, defensive line room, maybe you need to be trying to add to the offensive line too, because that was unacceptable.
- 20:15[SPEAKER_00]: And I'm not going to allow one player, even though Robert Hainesy, your center is your captain on offense.
- 20:21[SPEAKER_00]: One of your captains on offense, I'm not going to allow that to excuse everything else that happened on the offensive line or on the offense in general.
- 20:31[SPEAKER_00]: They got to go back to the drawing board and do a lot better next week against the
- 20:37[SPEAKER_00]: really appreciate y'all being here.
- 20:39[SPEAKER_00]: If you enjoyed the content, please like and subscribe.
- 20:41[SPEAKER_00]: Y'all have a good one.
