The Canteen #221 We Will Wait (Psalm 27)
Waiting is hard. Our culture calls it laziness. Our souls call it rust. But what if waiting on the Lord is actually one of the most powerful things you can do?
This week we explored Psalm 27, David's song of courage in the middle of uncertainty, and what it looks like to gaze at God's beauty when fear tempts us to flinch. From the patience of the blue heron to the 52-year prayers of George Müller, God is at work in the waiting.
"Wait for the Lord; be strong, and let your heart be courageous. Wait for the Lord." - Psalm 27:14
