- 0:02Speaker 1: Here's your host, Alex Garrett.
- 0:07Speaker 2: All right, well, here on one, I got Alex news.
- 0:10Speaker 2: I really haven't told you the news because I'm sure
- 0:13Speaker 2: you've heard already, but a deal has been struck to
- 0:18Speaker 2: where Israel will and thankfully so get the hostages back.
- 0:26Speaker 1: We don't know what condition they're going to be in,
- 0:28Speaker 1: but that's a prayerful.
- 0:30Speaker 2: Moment with this overhanging idea of the ceasefire at the
- 0:36Speaker 2: same time and withdrawal of troops from Gaza. And I
- 0:41Speaker 2: pray that tomorrow and this week is a non bloody,
- 0:49Speaker 2: pieceful week and that this deal is abided to by Hamas.
- 1:00Speaker 2: That's my big prayer, and no trickery is done, no
- 1:06Speaker 2: more evil is done because.
- 1:13Speaker 1: We can't.
- 1:16Speaker 2: We can't see another October seventh, as Israel's trying to
- 1:20Speaker 2: get their hostages back, we cannot see that. And really,
- 1:24Speaker 2: as the Jewish people are getting the hostages back, as
- 1:27Speaker 2: a collective here in America as well, people are watching
- 1:30Speaker 2: this with baited breath.
- 1:34Speaker 1: And tomorrow President Trump scheduled to address the Kanesset in
- 1:46Speaker 1: Israel and then at ten minut least pay ceremony in Egypt.
- 1:51Speaker 1: Following a potential deal.
- 1:52Speaker 2: Between Israel, and Amas to end the war in Gaza
- 1:56Speaker 2: the peace ceremony two thirty preem Local time in show
- 2:00Speaker 2: arm Elshe praying for those moments that they actually happen,
- 2:04Speaker 2: that they actually do bring peace here and getting the
- 2:09Speaker 2: hostages home. That's really what it is now. The other
- 2:15Speaker 2: thing about this whole last couple of weeks, which I
- 2:17Speaker 2: haven't even talked about, is we're now ten, well twelve
- 2:22Speaker 2: days into a government shutdown, which bothers the hell out
- 2:26Speaker 2: of me.
- 2:27Speaker 1: How do we let the government stay shut down for
- 2:29Speaker 1: twelve days?
- 2:30Speaker 2: Why aren't either side's budget And maybe they are, they're
- 2:34Speaker 2: just not agreeing.
- 2:35Speaker 1: To it, but twelve days is insane.
- 2:39Speaker 2: We see Lawler and Jeffries get into it in the
- 2:41Speaker 2: halls of Congress. Something's got to give here, Something's got
- 2:47Speaker 2: to give, because I don't.
- 2:49Speaker 1: Want to stand here a week from.
- 2:51Speaker 2: Now and say, oh, nineteen days of a shutdown.
- 2:56Speaker 1: That would not be good.
- 2:57Speaker 2: It's not what we certainly went to Washington, DC for,
- 3:00Speaker 2: is to advocate for a shutdown.
- 3:02Speaker 1: That's not what we We wanted.
- 3:03Speaker 2: Funding for the proper groups that needed it, but never
- 3:09Speaker 2: a shutdown.
- 3:10Speaker 1: This is awful.
- 3:11Speaker 2: And I see that the federal government has been laying
- 3:13Speaker 2: off workers under the cover of all.
- 3:16Speaker 1: This, it's just a mess.
- 3:20Speaker 2: And I get the Dems wanting leg so they say,
- 3:24Speaker 2: want illegals to have healthcare, and I do believe Americans
- 3:26Speaker 2: shouldn't be prioritized over that, for sure, But come to
- 3:31Speaker 2: the table, twelve days of government shutdown, and to those
- 3:35Speaker 2: that are donating their salaries or whatever, good on them.
- 3:40Speaker 2: It's very rare to see congress people do that. But
- 3:43Speaker 2: this has to stop. And it's interesting because I went
- 3:47Speaker 2: on here on October seven, the navicated for a piece deal.
- 3:49Speaker 2: A day later it happened. I'm gonna advocate for a
- 3:51Speaker 2: deal and the shutdown now because the twelve days cannot
- 3:55Speaker 2: go on. The firing and furloughing of government workers who
- 4:01Speaker 2: do contribute to society should not be happening. It should
- 4:07Speaker 2: not be happening, especially under the guys in cover of this,
- 4:10Speaker 2: it feels like.
- 4:14Speaker 1: But then there's this other story which really.
- 4:16Speaker 2: Got me going last week. Remember when Israel baum Qatar
- 4:22Speaker 2: and there was a big uproar over wide. They do
- 4:28Speaker 2: this Qatar is an ally blah blah blah blah. Well
- 4:33Speaker 2: this story is very very odd to me. I found
- 4:38Speaker 2: out the other day the Pentagon is building a training
- 4:42Speaker 2: facility for Katari pilots in Idaho. The US military is
- 4:49Speaker 2: moving forward with plans to build a dedicated facility in
- 4:52Speaker 2: Idaho to train pilots from Qatar. Pete Eggs had announced
- 4:57Speaker 2: this past Friday. So the facility has to be built
- 5:01Speaker 2: at the Mountain Home Air Force Base and hosts of
- 5:04Speaker 2: a contingent of Katari F fifteens and pilots to enhance
- 5:08Speaker 2: our combat training, increasing lethality and interi probability. According to
- 5:16Speaker 2: Headline USA, the arrangement is not unusual. Pentagon officials noted
- 5:20Speaker 2: that similar facilities have been set up for other allies
- 5:22Speaker 2: for decades, and the Idaho base already hosts.
- 5:25Speaker 1: A fire squadron from Singapore.
- 5:37Speaker 2: Qatar already hosts and I didn't know this the biggest
- 5:40Speaker 2: US military base in the military in the Middle East,
- 5:43Speaker 2: making it clear that it will not have a base
- 5:45Speaker 2: on US soil and that will cover the costs of
- 5:49Speaker 2: building the training.
- 5:50Speaker 1: Facility and.
- 5:58Speaker 2: Embassy in Washington's as it's not going to be a
- 6:01Speaker 2: Qatari air base rather, Quitar has made an initial ten
- 6:05Speaker 2: year commitment to construct and maintain a dedicated facility within
- 6:08Speaker 2: an existing air base intended for advanced training and to enforce.
- 6:16Speaker 1: Into a probability.
- 6:19Speaker 2: And advancing our shared interests around the world. The statement
- 6:24Speaker 2: said the project will create hundreds of jobs for Americans
- 6:27Speaker 2: and noted the planning began several years ago and.
- 6:31Speaker 1: Received local approval.
- 6:37Speaker 2: This is interesting that the announcement came days after Trump
- 6:41Speaker 2: signed an executive order allowed Value to use all measures,
- 6:44Speaker 2: including military action military to defend Qatar.
- 6:53Speaker 1: I mean, and this also came about two days after
- 6:56Speaker 1: the peace agreement. So you have to wonder what Qatar
- 6:59Speaker 1: is doing here.
- 7:03Speaker 2: Remember they're the one that gave a four million dollar,
- 7:06Speaker 2: four hundred million dollar jet on Trump for use on
- 7:09Speaker 2: Air Force One.
- 7:11Speaker 1: And other things. They also played a key role.
- 7:18Speaker 2: In negotiating the most recent cease fire. So what are
- 7:21Speaker 2: we doing hosting Katari airplanets? All this say is I
- 7:25Speaker 2: hope it doesn't backfireus.
- 7:26Speaker 1: That's really the point here.
- 7:29Speaker 2: They may say we're an ally to Qatar and Israel
- 7:32Speaker 2: shouldn't bomb Guitar, but Israel's defense knows what it's doing,
- 7:38Speaker 2: and for Trump to rebuke that and then make a
- 7:41Speaker 2: deal with Guitar scares the living hell out of me,
- 7:46Speaker 2: and it should for you. Two An Air Force base
- 7:52Speaker 2: for Qatar. It doesn't make sense. I'm post in the
- 8:00Speaker 2: description above because how it is announcement made just two days,
- 8:06Speaker 2: two days after that peace deal which they negotiated, we
- 8:09Speaker 2: find out, and so I wouldn't trust it as far
- 8:16Speaker 2: as I throw them. So I wouldn't trust Qatar as
- 8:20Speaker 2: far as I could throw them. And I don't think
- 8:24Speaker 2: this arrangement is going to be good. In a loane,
- 8:28Speaker 2: I pray that no funny business there either in Idaho.
- 8:32Speaker 1: But it's it raised an alarm.
- 8:35Speaker 2: And I mentioned twelve days like the twelve days of Christmas,
- 8:39Speaker 2: twelve days of a shutdown. How about the fact Jay
- 8:43Speaker 2: Jones who in a text exchange called for the killing
- 8:48Speaker 2: of a fellow Virginia legislator.
- 8:59Speaker 3: And that legislator's name is and by the way, he J.
- 9:10Speaker 2: Jones is the Attorney general candidate Robot wrote that a
- 9:14Speaker 2: Regelican condate colleague about bulletin for the House Speaker told
- 9:19Speaker 2: Todd Gilbert, Okay, he's calling for the Virginia House Speaker's
- 9:25Speaker 2: assassination and he's still running for office. He's supposed to
- 9:31Speaker 2: be the attorney general. How have no Democrats, even Tim
- 9:37Speaker 2: Canaan Virginia said anything other than.
- 9:42Speaker 1: Well, it's bad he did it, but he's joining for off.
- 9:44Speaker 2: It's like, how can you not take it further and
- 9:46Speaker 2: ask him and demand actually that he dropped out of
- 9:49Speaker 2: the race. So here on one, look up, Alex, I'm
- 9:52Speaker 2: taking up that arm too and saying drop out of
- 9:55Speaker 2: the race.
- 9:55Speaker 1: Jay Jones.
- 9:56Speaker 2: Twelve days of a government shutdown, about eight nine days
- 10:00Speaker 2: of J Jones still being in the race, after.
- 10:02Speaker 1: Those vile text messages come to light, you gotta drop out.
- 10:08Speaker 1: You have to drop out.
- 10:12Speaker 2: You cannot be attorney general and taken serious with that mindset,
- 10:15Speaker 2: with that vicious killer mindset. And for all those in
- 10:23Speaker 2: the party that have really not con that I'm not
- 10:26Speaker 2: taking it further than condemnation but actually demanded, shame on you.
- 10:33Speaker 2: You want someone with those evil thoughts running the Virginia
- 10:39Speaker 2: Justice Department as Attorney general. Shame on those who have
- 10:45Speaker 2: not called for him to drop out. Totabs are shut down,
- 10:50Speaker 2: nine days of J Jones still in the race. Something's
- 10:55Speaker 2: got to come to a head, and soon and soon,
- 11:02Speaker 2: because we want to have one leg up for Virginia.
- 11:04Speaker 2: We won't have one leg up for our government workers
- 11:06Speaker 2: that do contribute and are suffering through this government shutdown.
- 11:10Speaker 2: And for those who need the funding, I mean there
- 11:13Speaker 2: are Medicaid recipients, there are Social Security recipients at risk.
- 11:19Speaker 1: Here. Health care does matter.
- 11:24Speaker 2: And the irony of forcing healthcare to illegals is actually
- 11:27Speaker 2: hurting health care for Americans. Let me say that again,
- 11:31Speaker 2: the Democrats forcing health care for illegals is hurting actual
- 11:35Speaker 2: Americans who elected them, who elected them to office thinking
- 11:40Speaker 2: they be helping the dixabled community and other communities. So
- 11:47Speaker 2: by forcing this and trying to force it down our throats,
- 11:50Speaker 2: you're in essence hurting the Americans that voted you in there.
- 11:55Speaker 2: And that is grotesque, that is abusive office, that is
- 12:00Speaker 2: beyond the pale. And that's not how you have one
- 12:03Speaker 2: leg up for your constituents. Because you see the irony, right,
- 12:07Speaker 2: you're trying to push health care for illegal immigrants, but
- 12:10Speaker 2: you're not taking the consideration you're hurting Americans who need
- 12:15Speaker 2: those health benefits.
- 12:19Speaker 1: So you're clearly choosing a side.
- 12:20Speaker 3: Here and you're not going the American way.
- 12:25Speaker 1: And that's why we're shut.
- 12:26Speaker 2: Down right now, not having a good time having one
- 12:32Speaker 2: leg up for Americans.
- 12:36Speaker 1: In America. But we have to we have to if
- 12:45Speaker 1: we want to move forward in twenty twenty five
