⚪ GOLD & SILVER Stackers! ⚪ THIS Will be MAJOR News... (Precious Metals Prices 2025 UPDATE) · SILVER / GOLD / $UFD: Surviving Global Economic Shifts | RONS BASEMENT

0:01
We have a massive big point about the Donald Trump tariff
0:05
announcement, 100% tariffs on the BRICS countries if they
0:09
don't play nice with the dollar. We're going to talk about
0:12
something that no one is talking about.
0:14
Breaking news and exclusive here in Ron's basement.
0:17
We'll get to that later. But we also want to talk about
0:21
$8000 gold. Does it seem doable to you?
0:27
It seems doable to me. I have a new piece of research
0:31
from one of the most respected, most loved analyst in the gold
0:36
and silver sector. And to me, it became crystal
0:39
clear. You know that feeling when
0:41
you're reading something and you're like, Oh yeah, that makes
0:44
sense. That makes perfect, perfect
0:46
sense. And embedded in this research
0:48
are some incredible facts about the gold and silver markets that
0:52
we'll talk about as well. First, I owe you a big, big,
0:55
major apology. Not only was I late to get onto
0:58
the live stream video this morning, so I apologize for
1:01
that, but also I've made a prediction that we would get
1:04
$44.00 silver. I don't know if you can see it,
1:07
but we've got it on the Christmas tree back there.
1:09
We promised that by Christmas. There is still hope.
1:13
My fellow basement dwellers. Do you think it's possible that
1:16
we could see a massive rally here in the next 4 weeks and see
1:21
$44.00 silver? But it is becoming more of a
1:25
they hope than a realistic reality.
1:27
The reason why that's the case is because of the Donald Trump
1:31
election Black Swan. Again, we don't hear anybody
1:34
else calling the Donald Trump election a Black Swan.
1:37
And just the fact that he was elected itself isn't the Black
1:41
Swan. It is the overwhelming level of
1:46
the, of the, of the victory that he had that I think shocked
1:49
everyone. Everyone thought that it would
1:52
be a, a contested election, all that, that we'd be going through
1:55
that we just now be finding out who our next president was.
1:59
But it was just an overwhelming situation, like a reverse Black
2:03
Swan almost, right? Like it was very orderly and and
2:07
I'm not at all making any kind of political statement here,
2:09
just stating the facts of what occurred.
2:12
And it created this strange environment in a lot of the
2:15
markets for the last three weeks.
2:18
That's not going away. OK.
2:20
And that did hurt the silver price, no doubt about it, right?
2:23
We were at $35 silver on Halloween, October 31st.
2:30
Little did we know that we should have been scared more
2:32
than more more than by just the little monsters coming to our
2:36
doors. We should have been scared about
2:37
the silver price dropping because it did drop.
2:40
But let's talk about something positive.
2:43
And that is what the silver price did last night.
2:46
OK, I woke up and silver was down like $0.60.
2:51
I checked the silver price last night before bed Betty boom boom
2:54
time. You know before I after I kissed
2:57
Susie goodnight and I'm silver was down $0.50.
3:01
Let's go take a look and see what it's doing now because I
3:03
want to show you a few things on the charts that I think are very
3:06
optimistic as we look at the silver price.
3:09
I think Susie might be on the live stream as well.
3:12
Maybe she can yell down to me as she is.
3:14
But here's a AA1 day chart of the silver price.
3:18
Guys, look at this, we were as low as basically $30.00 and
3:23
let's say 50 cents, $30.60 nonetheless, right, We've
3:28
rallied and rallied up by almost $0.50 as we are recording this
3:33
live right now at 8:43 AM Central time on December 2nd,
3:37
2024. This is big look at that move
3:41
that we had in silver. I was, you know that I don't
3:44
know about you, right? Like I, I know we're not
3:47
supposed to watch the silver price.
3:49
We're not even supposed to really care what silver's priced
3:51
in dollars, but the reality is we all pay attention to it.
3:55
And it was a sinking feeling. And this is very optimistic.
3:58
Now what I want to show you that I'm finding interesting on the
4:01
one year chart and let's get the crayons out here real quick is
4:05
that if you look over the last month right we were I don't know
4:11
but early well, hold on let me this is going to be easier for
4:16
me to show this to you on a one month chart.
4:22
So basically, guys, since 11/8, so 3 weeks, 4 weeks, we've been
4:28
in a range, trading in a range in the silver price between
4:32
about $31.50 and $30.50. We will eventually break out.
4:39
The important thing to remember here with silver is as we look
4:42
at this, we will eventually break out.
4:44
A lot of people like to draw these wedges right here.
4:49
I'll draw a wedge for you as we come down from the, from the $35
4:55
high in October up to here, as you can see, the price is
4:58
getting compressed, compressed. It's even getting more
5:02
compressed in this, in this $1.00 range.
5:05
Eventually here, it's going to have to either break to the
5:09
upside or break to the downside. I believe it's going to break to
5:14
the upside. I can't see the silver price
5:16
given all of the dynamics going on.
5:18
Don't forget, this is the huge news story, China.
5:22
It is so important as silver investors that we pay attention
5:26
to what's going on in China, in the PBOC, the People's Bank of
5:30
China changed the rules. That's massive, right?
5:34
Remember, China's either the biggest or the second biggest
5:37
economy in the world, depending on who you want to listen to.
5:40
And we know that China is definitely the biggest
5:43
manufacturing country in the world and that they are
5:46
clamoring for more and more silver in the PBOC.
5:50
Their central bank changed the rules on who can trade silver on
5:55
the Shanghai Gold Exchange. OK.
5:58
And the Shanghai Gold Exchange is the world's physical silver
6:03
market. I've never thought that we just,
6:05
that's brand new thing, right? Did a light bulb just go off in
6:07
your head? Did you see me lighten up when I
6:09
said that, right? The Shanghai Gold Exchange is
6:13
the world's physical gold exchange, right?
6:16
The COMEX in the LBMA, they trade make believe silver.
6:20
They trade paper silver, right? At a ratio of 411 paper oz for
6:26
each one real oz. So, so as we look at this move
6:32
that we're going to go through here into 2025, if we just
6:36
consider China alone, that is super supportive, super bullish
6:41
for the silver price. They are the world's biggest
6:44
manufacturer. They have 1.4 billion people.
6:48
And I wish I still had the charts up and I had some charts
6:51
that showed that in India also, right?
6:53
The amount of silver going into their ETP products is
6:57
skyrocketing. Like in the last, I think it was
7:00
three or four years, it started at 0 and now it's at if my
7:04
calculations were correct, almost 35,000,000 oz that Indian
7:09
investors right are holding in ETP products.
7:13
That doesn't even count all the silver that Indian investor.
7:17
So the silver outlook remains very, very optimistic.
7:21
And the other thing I want to mention is when it comes to
7:24
look, why did silver, why are we not, why are why are you mad at
7:27
me? Why, how could you be mad at me?
7:31
All right, I predicted $44.00 silver by Christmas.
7:34
You have every right to say right?
7:35
And I, but I said don't make any financial decisions based on
7:38
anything I say. I could be wrong.
7:41
I'm usually not, but often am wrong as we, as we look at the
7:46
what caused it with Trump, right?
7:49
What I'm calling a Black Swan, and that's not a, I'm not saying
7:52
that in a negative way, right? Or it was a reverse back Black
7:55
Swan, whatever, right? It was a surprise, right, that
7:58
the Trump thing and, and, and like we already discussed the
8:01
last three weeks, the markets are, are, are, are struggling to
8:05
understand what's going on. The Trump uncertainty is not
8:10
going away. OK, Look at just what happened
8:13
over the weekend with the 100% tariffs.
8:15
We're going to talk about that more later on.
8:18
And I've got a piece, an idea, a point, a fact that's going to
8:24
blow you away that nobody else is talking about.
8:28
This is a Ron's Basement exclusive.
8:30
I didn't get this from reading this one actually was generated
8:34
between my ears and it's going to blow you over.
8:36
But let's talk about $8000 gold. Do you believe $8000 gold?
8:42
Oh, no, gold can never do that. Now it's OK for a crypto to go
8:46
up 400% in three days, right? Unicorn.
8:49
I guess that's because it's Unicorn fart dust.
8:51
But none the less, we can't talk about, well, no, we can talk
8:56
about $8000 gold and it could be a reality and it could happen
9:00
much sooner than you or I even really want to anticipate.
9:05
Let's go back out though and check on the silver and gold
9:08
price. We're going to go to channel
9:09
sponsor Pinbex Pi MB EX pinbex.com and let's press the
9:16
that's the magic button there. Let's press it.
9:18
Come on. OK, silver down 11 cents, gold
9:22
down $12.00. It's OK, right?
9:24
Volatility will happen right now if you want to buy silver, gold
9:29
or platinum group medals, maybe you're going to buy some gifts
9:31
for some loved ones for the holidays.
9:33
It's always important that you get the best price.
9:37
Of course you want to make sure you're getting real silver, real
9:41
gold, and Pinbex is a company you can trust.
9:44
Now you do your own due diligence.
9:45
I'll never tell you what to do, but I'll tell you my experience.
9:49
I did research on Pinbex before they sponsored the basement.
9:52
I bought gold and I'm sorry, didn't buy gold silver from
9:56
Pinbex before they sponsored the basement.
9:59
I trust Pinbex, the basement dweller community based on
10:03
overwhelming positive response I've received from you.
10:06
Trust Pinbacks. But what's even better with
10:08
Pinbacks on top of the fact that you can trust them is their
10:11
prices are always ultra competitive on the same
10:14
products. The exact same products that you
10:17
can see at other big online bullion dealer websites.
10:20
Often times with silver you can save a dollar or so per oz.
10:24
So do yourself a favor, if you're going to buy, just
10:27
consider give them a shot and I think you'll find what I found.
10:31
Pembex is best. Now let's talk about $8000 gold
10:37
and you know what that would do to the silver price right now.
10:39
This comes from Igon Von Guares. If you don't know who this guy
10:45
is, he's super respected. He's been in the silver and gold
10:50
area, the market for decades and he put out a piece of work here.
10:55
It's has some some data in here that is absolutely incredulous.
11:01
You know, I was shaking. I was shaking.
11:03
I didn't realize some of these facts about silver and gold.
11:07
But he says the gold will rise. Gold will rise by multiples.
11:12
Hey, I roughly figured 3 XI came up with $8000 gold.
11:16
I think that Egon would say even higher.
11:19
But listen to this. I'm going to read just the
11:21
highlights to you, but this just be prepared.
11:23
Get a cup of coffee. This is good is eastern and
11:28
southern central banks substantially increase their
11:31
gold holdings. Western central banks will most
11:33
probably have little physical gold in their coffers.
11:38
Total global gold reserves allegedly held by central banks,
11:43
37,000 tons, are valued at 3.1 trillion at the current market
11:49
price of about $2700 gold. OK, so there's $3 trillion of
11:54
gold held by world central banks.
11:57
That value is absurd. When one U.S. company.
12:01
This blew me away. I've never thought about this.
12:04
Microsoft has the same valuation.
12:08
Yes, one company, a software company.
12:11
Don't even make anything physical, just software.
12:14
Microsoft has the same valuation as all the gold held by all the
12:20
world central banks. Just think about it.
12:22
Microsoft is as big as the gold is as big as the goal backing
12:26
the global financial system. Furthermore, western central
12:32
banks have have most probably I'm going to make sure I got you
12:36
on the right screen, which I do. Western central banks have most
12:41
probably hypothecated and re hypothecated which means lent or
12:45
least their gold several times via bullion banks.
12:49
But that gold will never come back.
12:51
Consequently, central banks are heavily short on gold and will
12:56
be badly squeezed when the gold market becomes disorderly.
13:00
What he's saying is that a lot of these banks have leased out,
13:04
right, It basically sold their gold and they're going to have
13:06
to cover the possibly some of these central banks are short on
13:11
gold. The combination of eastern
13:13
southern central banks gold buying that would be the BRICS
13:16
countries and all central banks replacing their dollar reserves
13:21
with gold will lead to unprecedented demand for gold
13:25
for many years more. Gold cannot satisfy this demand
13:29
since the current goldmine production of around 3000 tons
13:34
cannot be increased. You can't just print more gold.
13:38
You can't just create more gold out of thin air.
13:41
Thus, the substantial increase in physical gold demand can only
13:44
be satisfied by much, much higher prices.
13:48
This is why gold will rise by multiples.
13:51
And he says the article, the article could stop here.
13:56
But no, why do that? Cuz we're going to look at some
13:58
of these charts and data. Here's the gold price from 1971
14:03
through 2024, right? That's when Nixon took us off
14:07
the gold standard in green. Gold is up 78 times since Nixon
14:13
closed the gold window in 1971. Think about that guys in 197135
14:19
paper U.S. dollars would buy you an ounce of gold today.
14:25
What does that get you? That doesn't even get you a gram
14:28
of gold right? It gets you what about 1/3 of a
14:30
gram of gold right? Gold has gone from $35 to 2726
14:36
hundred dollars since Nixon closed that gold standard.
14:40
This this next one, this is an exit example is is crazy.
14:44
Just look at the chart above which shows the relentless bull
14:47
gold market. We just look at that is I've
14:48
stated in many articles gold is now in its exponential phase.
14:54
I've shown my illustration of what exponential means with this
14:58
picture. OK, I don't know if I I can't.
15:00
OK, this is a picture of a football stadium.
15:03
OK, how long does it take to fill this massive football
15:08
stadium with water? This is an example of
15:12
exponential growth. If you do one drop, one drop of
15:16
water per minute, the number of and the number of drops double s
15:21
every minute. So you do one drop per minute,
15:25
but you double the drop. So the first minute you do one
15:28
drop. A minute later you add 2 drops.
15:31
A minute after that you add 4 drops.
15:33
A minute after that you add 8 drops.
15:36
OK, how long does it take to fill this whole football
15:40
stadium? A day, a month, a year?
15:42
No, only 50 minutes. This is a mathematical fact
15:47
guys. How full is it after 45 minutes?
15:51
Remember it takes 50 minutes to fill the whole stadium with
15:54
water. It's only 75.
15:56
No, after 45 minutes it's only 7% full.
16:01
In the final 5 minutes it went from being 7% full of water to
16:06
100% full of water. That example always blows my
16:10
mind and it's been about a year since I've shown shown it.
16:12
And he says they make it clear Gold is now in a phase where the
16:16
price will go up by multiples. OK, talks about major gold
16:22
selling by world central banks. OK, this is a crazy chart.
16:26
Let me see if I can make this bigger for you.
16:30
Hold on here, guys. This shows well, this basically
16:33
shows in green that from. Hold on, this didn't show up on
16:38
the computer as much as I wanted it to.
16:41
All right, that's a little better.
16:45
This chart is a little blit, little bit blurry, a little blit
16:50
central bank gold demand. OK, so this shows us that from
16:55
boy up to about 2006, right? For decades we had central banks
17:00
selling gold. That's the green down there on
17:03
the left. Central bank sold gold during
17:05
the late 1990s amid generally good macroeconomic conditions,
17:10
right? That's when everything was
17:11
great. Then we had OK, thank you.
17:15
Hey, thank you Don Howe for the Super chat and thank you to
17:17
Susie for providing me a update text there.
17:20
Then there was a big shift here, what around 2008 around the time
17:25
of the great financial crisis where we saw gold, central bank
17:29
gold buying take off. This is not a western.
17:33
This is all the BRICS countries, basically all the eastern
17:37
countries, buying gold for their central banks.
17:40
Next, history tells us that gold should never be sold.
17:44
If politicians and central bankers ever studied history,
17:47
they would know that no paper money has ever survived.
17:51
Ever. Ever.
17:52
Guys, guys, we got to remember this when we're looking at these
17:56
markets. No paper money, no man made
18:00
money ever, ever in history. Never, ever, ever, ever, ever,
18:05
ever, ever, ever survived. Never.
18:08
OK, none of these right paper dollars ever survived and I'm
18:13
sorry for you crypto fans. No man made form of money has
18:18
ever survived, only gold and silver, not anti crypto.
18:24
I'm not even anti paper money. I love paper money when it's
18:27
backed by real hard assets. None the less, let's get back to
18:31
our article 'cause he's got a few more statistics in here that
18:35
are really mind numbing. OK, hold on, let's go down here.
18:39
Here we go. Ralph Waldo Emerson even said
18:43
gold is for freedom and benefit. Fort Knox holds.
18:47
This is talking about the gold in Fort Knox.
18:50
Fort Knox, the supposed 8000 tons of gold that our government
18:53
supposedly has in Fort Knox that we have not been able to audit
18:57
since what, 1955 or something like that?
19:00
They just say just believe us, it's there, OK?
19:03
Fort Knox holds nothing but Moss and half eaten IO us.
19:08
Vince Lancey of Gold Fix recently wrote that article.
19:12
All right, I mean we could talk about this for hours.
19:14
I'm just trying to hit the highlights here.
19:18
OK here Egon. In reality, a central bank only
19:22
holds an IOU issued by a bullion bank.
19:25
If the central bank attempts to reclaim the gold, it will never
19:28
get it back as the gold has likely been sold to buyers in
19:32
China or India who have purchased it outright with no
19:35
obligation to return it. OK, let's move on down here.
19:41
I'm going to reduce this a little bit for us.
19:45
Here we go. Here we go.
19:49
Make it a little more readable for you.
19:50
Hopefully. Gold is up 11 * 11 X in the
19:54
2000s here. So here we are 24 years into the
19:58
21st century. From 2000 to 2024, gold is up 11
20:03
times in U.S. dollars. More in in many in other
20:07
currencies, as we know, it's up a lot more.
20:09
We've looked at gold and Canadian dollars.
20:11
We've looked at gold in Australian dollars.
20:14
OK, between 2001 and 2011, gold rose 8X with no single down
20:20
year. In the past 24 years, we've seen
20:22
an incredible strong. Market in gold and we'll say
20:27
silver as well with virtually no one participating.
20:31
Still only .5% of global global we talk about US global, even
20:38
.5% of global financial assets are invested in gold.
20:43
And I would, I would, I don't think it's a stretch to say that
20:46
that number is probably even much lower that percentage for
20:49
silver. So virtually nobody understands
20:53
or invest in it. All right, there's, there's a
20:55
chart showing, right, this is like .5% that that how little of
21:01
the world's financial assets, OK, OK, gold is outperformed.
21:06
Nobody talks about this vastly outperformed stocks in the 2000s
21:10
in the past 24 years, the S&P 500 with dividends reinvested,
21:15
OK, the S&P 500 with dividends reinvested rose by 572%.
21:21
Gold is up 990% for the same period with much less
21:27
volatility. Gold ownership is in silver and
21:30
ownership I'm a silver stacker is like a hidden, well guarded,
21:34
parted secret. Very few, not even professional
21:37
investors know that gold is gone up 1000% or 11 times this
21:43
century. So few people own gold.
21:46
OK? History proves that gold over
21:50
the medium long term always reflects the government's
21:52
irresponsibility and an opportunistic management of the
21:55
company. This is what I this is what hit
21:57
me hard about that last night when I read that.
22:00
Guys, think about all that debt, all the debt.
22:04
If we just look at the US debt, if we just go out.
22:06
Let's go check out. Let's go on a field trip.
22:09
I forgot the most important part.
22:11
You give me 30 seconds. OK.
22:14
You are important. It's a big honor when you join
22:17
us here in the basement. We love to talk about our
22:19
favorite subject. Do you love to talk about silver
22:22
and gold? I think you do.
22:23
That's why you're here, right? Let's make it clear.
22:27
You're part of the tribe. You might as well subscribe and
22:30
give us a thumbs up while you're at it.
22:31
Thank you for the Super chat. Thank.
22:33
Thank you for the Super. Thanks.
22:34
Let's pull up Don Howe. Good morning, Don, a regular
22:38
contributor and much appreciated.
22:40
Thank you very much. OK, so we're going to go out to
22:45
the the debt clock quickly. OK.
22:48
This is what hit me last night. You can look at this thing all
22:51
day long. It's mind numbing, right?
22:53
OK, All that debt is can only result in one thing, guys.
23:00
It can only result in one thing. I don't care what Donald Trump
23:04
and Elon Musk and Vivak Rama Swami do.
23:08
We've got the debt. It's here, OK?
23:10
They can't magically erase the debt.
23:12
And it is growing. And it likely, despite all these
23:16
campaign promises, it will likely, they're estimating grow
23:20
by 7 trillion during Donald Trump's presidency.
23:23
The only result of all that debt is devaluation of the dollar.
23:28
There's no other way, no matter how you slice it or dice it, no
23:32
matter what you do with all that debt and all that debt growing,
23:37
OK, it's a mathematical certainty that the value of the
23:42
paper Unicorn fart does money that supports it goes down.
23:46
That's going to happen. It's a certainty, right?
23:48
And as I was reading this last night, it just, it hit me.
23:52
It hit me and then it also hit me that how can all the gold
23:56
held by all the world central banks, all the gold be equal to
24:02
the market cap of one company? Microsoft?
24:07
Here's a great I've never seen this.
24:08
This is a box that shows global gold stocks.
24:12
OK, this is all the gold in the world here.
24:17
Where is it? I'm just going to read something
24:19
to you. I can just tell you, right?
24:21
That's all the gold in the world, 201,000 tons, remember?
24:26
And there's the picture 22 meters.
24:29
OK, by 22 meters, it's a think of a football field.
24:32
Maybe you watch some American football over the weekend,
24:36
right? And there's A and think of 20
24:38
yards, a little over think of 25 yards, whatever, 25 yard.
24:42
That's where they put the football when they do, when the
24:45
when the kickoff goes into the end zone, right, The 25 yard
24:49
line, think from the end zone to the 25 yard line.
24:52
Think that length. And then think of a cube that's
24:55
25 long, 25 wide. That's all the gold that's ever
24:58
been mined in the history of the world.
25:01
This shocked me, right? Look at the, the, the, the, the
25:04
portion of it that is taken up by jewelry.
25:08
OK, but there's the central bank holdings and there's private
25:11
investment. Central banks have 3.1 trillion
25:15
worth private investment. That would be you, right?
25:19
I have 3.6 trillion worth. Jewelry was way bigger than I
25:23
thought it. 8 trillion. And there's the below ground
25:26
known gold, probably like the reserves that are held by the
25:29
mining companies that have not yet been mined out of the earth.
25:32
And it takes a lot of cost and a lot of effort to get that gold
25:35
out of the ground. Central banks allegedly hold
25:39
that amount. OK.
25:40
Only 201,000 tons of gold have been produced in history.
25:43
All this gold is assumed to still the beat still be around,
25:48
although some might be at the bottom of the sea or hidden
25:50
forever. Just under half is used for
25:53
jewelry, which is crazy. But now comes the very important
25:58
figures. Only 43 tons or 3.6 trillion is
26:02
held by private investors like you, basement dwellers.
26:07
If we compare that to the biggest U.S. companies, only
26:12
NVIDIA has a market cap of 3.5 trillion and that's probably
26:16
even higher now. And so does Apple.
26:19
OK, that means that means that NVIDIA alone, Apple alone,
26:24
right? Microsoft alone and then
26:26
companies behind it are almost worth as much as all the gold
26:31
held by investors in the world. Even more astounding is that all
26:35
the gold held by central banks 3.1 trillion, which is the same
26:39
as Micro Microsoft's market cap. So the shareholders of Microsoft
26:43
could swap their shares against all the central bank gold in the
26:48
world, right? I mean, it's just absolutely
26:51
crazy. There's JP Morgan, gold is
26:54
money. Everything else is credit and
26:56
Unicorn fart dust. And these tech stocks, we won't
26:59
go down that path, but they are just like unbelievable
27:04
evaluations. Some people may call it a
27:07
bubble. I'll leave that up to you.
27:08
Don't forget I got some some crazy insights about this Donald
27:12
Trump tariff stuff too. Guys.
27:13
We will get to that next. The dollars on its way to 0,
27:16
right? This shows since 1971 when we
27:19
had $35 gold. This is the opposite way to look
27:23
at what we talked about earlier that the dollar lost, OK, from
27:29
1971 to 2024, the dollar lost 99% of its value, right?
27:36
How much more will it lose? We know that.
27:40
We know the trend, no doubt about it.
27:42
The total market cap of the top ten U.S. companies is almost 20
27:46
trillion. If we look at that cube above
27:48
again, at today's price, all the gold ever produced in history
27:53
is, at today's price, worth about 17 trillion, probably even
27:58
lower than that. That means all the gold ever
28:01
mined in the history of the world is worth all the gold in
28:06
the entire world. All of it, including what you
28:09
own, right? If you combine all the gold in
28:12
the world, OK, it is worth less than the top ten countries in
28:17
the United States. Gold's undervalued by multiples
28:20
and he says here is our friend Bill Bonner recently wrote in
28:23
his wonderful style, sooner or later this is powerful.
28:28
The lava flow, the lava flows of red hot credit, right debt,
28:32
credit make believe, Ponzi paper, whatever you want to call
28:36
it are going to meet up with the cold reality of rising interest
28:41
rates. When this happens, most likely
28:44
stocks, bonds and real estate will be buried like like
28:47
Pompeii. Some investors will take a big
28:49
loss, big deal markets are correct all the time, but we're
28:53
not making predictions. We're just looking at the worst
28:56
case scenario and it could be far worse than just a market
29:00
sell off. OK, what Bill states above is an
29:03
inevitable and got in gold's coming rise by multiples is a
29:08
senequit non in absolute prerequisite.
29:12
OK, all right guys, let's go. Let's move on here.
29:18
This is such a great article. Again, this is at, at at von von
29:23
Gyares dot gold. The case for gold.
29:25
Man, does that not make you feel?
29:28
It made me feel almost certain. When we look, look, I mean, Can
29:32
you believe all the gold in the world, all the gold which has
29:38
been valuable since the beginning of time, ever been
29:41
valuable everywhere in the world is worth less than were.
29:46
Thank you, Silver Sparky, for that.
29:48
Super chat is worth less than the top top ten US corporations,
29:54
right? Many of which have very, very
29:56
little assets. OK.
29:58
Oh, my gosh. We're getting all kinds.
29:59
Hold on. I want to say thank you to
30:03
Silver Sparky. Everyone smash that thumbs up.
30:05
Yeah. Hey, I don't ask that very
30:07
often. Let's get some thumbs up going,
30:09
huh, guys, What do you say? Thank you, Silver Sparky.
30:12
And and Justin. Thank you, Justin.
30:16
All right. Thanks for all.
30:17
Thank you, Justin. Hey, it's my pleasure.
30:20
Yes, we work very hard. But you know what?
30:22
Nobody forces me to do this. And I love it.
30:24
The best part are the people. You.
30:27
OK, let's talk about what's going on with with Trump Here in
30:32
one second. OK, here in one second.
30:35
Let's do that right now. Then we'll come back to this
30:38
other stuff. OK, This is a big point.
30:40
This is a Ron's Basement exclusive.
30:42
This is one of those things that's sitting right there in
30:45
front of everybody's face, but nobody's realizing it.
30:48
Kind of like I don't realize I have my glasses on most of the
30:51
time when I'm talking to you guys.
30:53
And this has to do everything with what's going to happen with
30:56
the silver and gold price and these 100% tariffs.
30:59
OK, so let me lead up to this. Give me a little time to lead
31:02
up. Let's all have a quick sip of
31:04
coffee and we're going to talk some crazy news.
31:15
OK, so we got this big, big news from Trump over the weekend that
31:20
it he is, he lashed out at the BRICS countries and said if you
31:24
guys even think about think about having your own currency
31:28
to trade amongst yourselves, to conduct trades amongst
31:31
yourselves, I'm going to put 100% tariffs on you, OK, A big,
31:35
big, big threat. OK, now think about this.
31:40
If we weren't losing, this is not the big point.
31:43
I'll tell you when we get to this big critical point, OK?
31:47
And I mean, it blew me away when I thought about this, but if we
31:50
weren't losing to the bricks, if we weren't losing, if they
31:54
weren't winning, then why would Trump make this shocking 100%
31:58
tariff announcement? OK?
32:01
Is he afraid? Is he afraid of the bricks gold
32:04
back currency? Is are the central bankers in
32:06
the United States afraid in the West of the of a bricks gold
32:09
back currency? OK, And there's a so there's a
32:12
reason why all these countries are buying gold.
32:16
OK, Now point #1 and this is not the big one, but how can you not
32:21
say that a threat like that of a 100% tariffs, if you don't use
32:26
the dollar, how can you not say that that's not additional
32:33
weaponization of the US dollar? We weaponize the dollar against
32:38
the Russians at the onset of the Ukraine, excuse me, conflict.
32:43
We know what that led to. That led to countries buying
32:46
more and more and more gold and silver, right?
32:51
We weaponize the dollar. Now we're now we're saying that
32:56
if you don't stay with the dollar, we're going to we're
32:59
going to put 100% tariffs on you.
33:00
So how can we say this is that's not the big point, OK, That's
33:04
not it. But that's a big point.
33:06
That's a big major point. OK.
33:08
And here it is. OK, My question would be, OK, if
33:15
Donald Trump is out there saying, OK, but you got to use
33:20
the dollar, the almighty dollar or we're going to we're going to
33:23
put all these tariffs on you and he's defending the dollar and
33:26
defending the dollar. How can he, how can he be be
33:30
doing that defending the dollar, but at the same time be Mr. Pro
33:35
Crypto, pro Bitcoin because aren't crypto in Bitcoin
33:39
supposed to be this alternative to the US dollar?
33:44
Aren't they like the enemy of the US dollar?
33:48
So how can he say we need to defend the US dollar?
33:51
We need to, if you don't use the dollar for trade, well then
33:56
we're going to put slap one hundred 100% tariffs on you on
33:59
one hand, but then in the other hand say, well, I love Bitcoin,
34:04
I love crypto. We're going to be the Bitcoin
34:06
crypto. Does that make sense?
34:08
That to me that doesn't make sense because all the Bitcoin
34:11
and crypto people have always said, well, we're the
34:12
alternative to the Fiat dollar system.
34:17
To go even step further, I would almost say at this point the
34:22
crypto is becoming more embedded with the US dollar, becoming
34:26
more part of the very system that all I'd heard over the last
34:31
10 years they were working to fight against.
34:33
I don't know. I just, I find it all very
34:36
interesting, all very ironic in terms of how the situation is
34:42
being held. I want to show you a, a
34:44
subscriber comment, right? I always encourage you guys to
34:47
comment and you come up with some great points.
34:50
This one came from Arun Kumar. He said tariff policy will
34:55
backfire on the USA than more than than more so than on the
34:59
bricks. More and more countries will
35:01
join the bricks as a noble group trading in their own currencies
35:04
with each other. Weaponizing the dollar and
35:07
seizing assets by the West was a turning point for sovereign
35:11
countries to move away from the dollar denominated trade.
35:14
Endless printing of dollars by the USA without backing it up
35:19
with hard assets is the real reason for other countries to
35:22
trade with their own currencies. It's the way forward in the
35:26
future, you know, and I I think that it it's starting to feel
35:30
that way, definitely starting to feel that way.
35:35
OK, there's going to be a big period of uncertainty as we head
35:40
into this inauguration of Trump and there's going to be another
35:44
major period of uncertainty after he's in office, OK, We, we
35:50
don't know what to expect during this 2025.
35:53
I look, I am not, I'm, I'm, I'm not a political statement at
35:58
all. I'm just stating the facts.
36:00
That's what we have coming down the Pike.
36:02
And all of this is we have Donald Trump, who can be quite
36:07
tumultuous, right? He's a man of his conviction.
36:09
He's he's he does some, let's say, strong moves.
36:16
OK? All of this is happening in a
36:19
world that is geopolitically in a more uncertain state than any
36:24
other time in history. I mean, look what happened with
36:26
Syria over the weekend. I'm going to show you.
36:29
I thought this was probably, you know, trying to understand if
36:33
you're anything like me, the situation in the Middle East is
36:36
mind boggling. And I thought this this cartoon
36:40
summed it up. This came from gold stock trades
36:42
on X Middle East is a boondoggle.
36:46
OK. And if you look at this cartoon,
36:48
maybe this is the best way for us to understand what's going on
36:51
in the Middle East right now. You've got us over here.
36:54
The anti ISIS, I guess it was old from Obama, but I think this
36:57
still makes sense and it shows all the different interesting
37:01
countries in the Middle East, right?
37:03
There's Russia, and it shows when they're pointing guns who
37:08
they don't like. You know, you've got Assad in
37:10
Syria. You have Turkey who doesn't like
37:12
the Iraqis but doesn't like Assad.
37:14
But you have Assad who doesn't like ISIL.
37:17
You have they don't like Israel. Israel doesn't like Saudi
37:20
Arabia's over there. They don't like Assad.
37:22
They have Iran. They don't like Saudi Arabia and
37:25
they don't like, I mean, it's so confusing.
37:28
But that's what's going on in our world right now, right?
37:32
And that's why we choose to protect ourselves with silver
37:36
and gold, right? It's a confusing situation.
37:39
It's tumultuous. And we have a president coming
37:42
into office who has a history, right, who has a history of, of
37:48
making bold moves, I'll put it that way.
37:52
We know his history is a businessman.
37:54
We know his history as a as a president, right?
37:57
And we know that there can be, let's just say, a certain degree
38:00
of uncertainty. So all that uncertainty with
38:03
Donald Trump gets locked on top of a world.
38:07
This is not the year 2000, things were much calmer than,
38:11
right. This is not 2008.
38:13
Things were much calmer than the world has changed dramatically
38:18
over the last five years. The world has changed
38:21
dramatically over the last 10 years.
38:24
Think about it. LOP on top of that, OK, the
38:28
uncertainty that is embedded with Donald Trump, LOP on top of
38:32
that, the the US fiscal situation, the amount of debt.
38:36
And it's not just and then LOP on LOP lop, if that's a word
38:41
pile on top of that that it's not just the United States, it's
38:45
the whole world that has a debt problem.
38:49
Guys, whatever it is now, 340 trillion, 370 trillion, it it's
38:54
going to be absolutely crazy. Let's go do an update on the
38:58
gold and silver price. And then we're going to talk
38:59
about the big news story of the week, the biggest news story in
39:04
the history of the planet. Let's go out to pen backs.
39:07
Let's see how bad it got. OK, Down 16 cents.
39:10
Hey, you know what better than being down $0.60 like we were
39:14
earlier? Gold, down about $10 per oz at
39:17
$2645 per oz. Is Susie still in the live
39:22
stream? I'm going to show you guys
39:24
unbelievable work that Susie, who's a big part of our channel,
39:29
is done. That's us.
39:31
There's our, I showed this the other day.
39:32
That's our new Christmas tree, live Christmas tree.
39:36
But when Susie and I first got married, I said absolutely, we
39:38
will never have 5 Christmas trees.
39:40
They're a waste of money. And for the last 20 years we've
39:43
had a live Christmas tree every year.
39:45
But look what she that's the outside of our house.
39:47
Isn't that beautiful? I took that last night.
39:49
Susie did all that by herself. Please tell her how beautiful it
39:53
looks. And I will tell you that when
39:55
the sun shines on our house during the day, it doesn't quite
39:57
look that nice. That's a very, a very flattering
40:01
picture of our of our home. Where was I?
40:05
Here we go. Don't forget, guys, that's what
40:07
you were dealing with right now. I pulled this up earlier.
40:12
I didn't make this. This was a meme that was on
40:15
Twitter. That's the world we're living
40:17
in, right? How different are these two
40:19
things? I want you to.
40:20
I think what really drives at home is this.
40:24
If we were, if I were to give you a test right now and you had
40:27
a red marker and you're looking at this picture that's on your
40:30
screen. You have a Monopoly dollar, you
40:33
have a United States Federal Reserve note and you have 3
40:37
ounces of silver. And I gave you a big red marker
40:41
and I said you need to circle the two things on this, on this
40:46
picture that are most similar. Which would you circle?
40:53
I certainly hope that you would circle the Monopoly dollar and
40:57
the US dollar because I'm telling you there's not much
41:00
difference right now, right? And we're seeing it play out in
41:04
real time in our country. Let's talk about the biggest
41:08
news item that we're going to get this week that will likely
41:11
move the price of gold and silver.
41:13
Luckily for us, we got about four days to prepare for it.
41:16
But on Friday, we're going to get the jobs report that will
41:19
impact, that will impact the price of silver and gold because
41:23
we're at this point now where there's been more focus put on
41:27
the Fed, right? The reason why is because
41:30
there's been some mixed signals from the BSBLS, the Bureau of
41:35
Labor and Statistics regarding just how good the US economy is
41:39
doing. I don't know about you.
41:40
Like, I'd take my mom and my daughters to the mall yesterday
41:43
so they could do some Christmas shopping.
41:45
I sat there. I don't shop.
41:47
I never would buy anything at the mall myself, right?
41:49
Like, you know, these beautiful Brooks Brothers shirts I wear, I
41:52
buy on eBay, I'll leave it at that.
41:55
But I sat there and observed just all these people.
41:58
But I observed one thing. There were a lot of people, but
42:01
I didn't see a lot of bags. People had bags, no doubt about
42:05
it, a lot. It was a madhouse West County
42:07
mall here in Saint Louis, like the upper, the upper upper
42:11
middle class part of town. People didn't have that many
42:14
bags. A lot of people, you know, and I
42:16
purposely sat by they've got one of those mall trains, you know,
42:19
where the kids they people take their little kids and the train
42:22
goes around the mall. But anyway, people didn't have
42:26
that many bags, but it was crowded.
42:28
The Apple store and people going out the door.
42:31
But but OK, back to gold and silver.
42:34
The the jobs number, the jobs and people with like Susie and I
42:39
raised twins. Our twin daughters are 12 now.
42:42
I feel sorry for some of the parents out there.
42:44
I, I remember what we went through.
42:46
But when you've got two or three-year old kids, you know,
42:48
two and three-year old kids. I didn't say this, one of my
42:50
friends said this, but two and three-year old kids are like
42:54
drunk people watching these little kids like throw fits
42:58
about not being able to get on the train and whatever else.
43:01
All right, I digress. Friday we're going to get jobs
43:04
numbers. OK, Number 11, big thing to
43:07
remember, right? These job numbers are
43:09
fantasyland, but there's an increased focus from a silver
43:13
and gold perspective on what the Fed will do as we go into these
43:17
next few Fed meetings. We're going to get an update on
43:19
that in one second. But if the jobs number comes in,
43:22
unbelievably good, right? You know, besides the pardon
43:27
that he just announced, that could be Joe.
43:29
One of Joe Biden's swan songs during his last lame duck days
43:34
here in office. Because by dynamics is working.
43:37
It's working. Yeah, sure, Joe.
43:41
Yeah. Anyway, so the jobs number,
43:46
we'll, we'll look at it critically.
43:48
We know something, we know one thing for sure, right?
43:51
We know that from March of 2023 through March of 2024, the jobs
43:57
numbers were overstated by at least 880,000 jobs, almost a
44:02
million jobs. We know that every month when
44:05
they give us these job numbers, they revise the previous two
44:09
months and 95% of the time they are major downward revisions.
44:14
Now, if we it, this could be happy, happy land.
44:17
I got a little feeling I my predictions have been bad
44:20
lately, so don't listen to me. But I got a little feeling that
44:23
we're going to have a pleasant surprise on Friday that we're
44:26
going to get some type of jobs number that's going to indicate
44:31
that's going to that's going to send a fear of recession through
44:35
the markets. OK.
44:36
And guys, I got news for you that could be very good for the
44:40
gold price and the silver price. Let's go out and take a look at
44:43
the CME Fedwatch tool to see if there's been any change in the
44:48
in the anticipation of what the Fed is going to do at their
44:53
December meeting. Let's let this update.
44:55
And hey, guy. All right, man, wow, 600 people.
45:00
OK, it's moved a little bit. All right, this is the, this is
45:04
for the 18th of December Fed meeting, which will be what, two
45:10
weeks from Thursday of this week?
45:12
So two weeks from Thursday of this week, we'll get an
45:16
announcement by the Federal Reserve in regards to the
45:18
monetary policy. Right now it's gone down a
45:22
little bit. There's a 62% chance that they
45:25
will cut rates by .25%. What this is setting up for, the
45:30
reason why we want to watch this is it's been changing quite.
45:35
Hold on a second. Susie said something.
45:39
OK, We got 200 thumbs up, guys. Thank you very much.
45:43
It's been changing quite rapidly.
45:45
OK, we, we are in a period right now where the Fed is, has gained
45:50
a little bit more credibility from a gold price and silver
45:54
price perspective, nothing like they used to have, right?
45:58
the Fed could, what they would do would have massive impacts,
46:01
but gold and silver have have started more and more and more
46:06
to ignore the Fed. However, I would say we're in a
46:09
little bit of a period here where there's a little more
46:12
weight being put back on to what the Fed does because things are
46:16
kind of uncertain, right? We got a 6040 chance.
46:20
There's a 40% chance that they won't cut rates at the next
46:24
cycle. So we'll keep a close eye on
46:27
that. Let's just go out to March and
46:29
see how that's changed. We got a 42% chance that they'll
46:34
cut rates by 1/4. The rates will be 1/4 percent
46:37
lower and a 36% chance that by March, that's this from down to
46:44
4% from 4.5. So that would be down by 1/2
46:48
percent. We're going to keep a very, very
46:50
close eye on that. While we're out here.
46:52
Let's go take a look at the dollar index.
46:55
Oh boy, it shot up. What?
46:59
That's weird. OK, so that's a one day chart.
47:04
I wish that black box wasn't there.
47:06
I'm going to move it out of the way.
47:08
If you look at this guy's, that's a one day chart of the
47:11
dollar index, you can see from about 8:00 AM this morning,
47:17
Eastern Time. So whatever the time zone you're
47:20
in till now, that's another. The dollar is moving like crazy
47:25
also. We got to keep a close eye on
47:28
that. Let's go out and look at silver
47:29
one more time before things really get interesting.
47:34
Silver's going to be down now. I'm going to warn you, we're
47:37
updating that. Yeah, down $0.20 because the
47:40
dollar is taking off. The general markets are holding
47:44
in there. Very interesting, very
47:47
interesting. Hey, while we're out here, thank

48:35
Thumbs up. Thank you, guys.
48:36
How's everybody doing this morning?
48:39
I didn't forget. Susie, you may not hear the
48:41
bell. Hold on a minute.
48:42
Did you guys hold on me? Ask Susie if you guys heard the
48:45
bell. OK.
48:49
This microphone does background noise, whatever, you know,
48:52
because we're doing laundry. And let's see here.
