- 0:01We have a massive big point about the Donald Trump tariff
- 0:05announcement, 100% tariffs on the BRICS countries if they
- 0:09don't play nice with the dollar. We're going to talk about
- 0:12something that no one is talking about.
- 0:14Breaking news and exclusive here in Ron's basement.
- 0:17We'll get to that later. But we also want to talk about
- 0:21$8000 gold. Does it seem doable to you?
- 0:27It seems doable to me. I have a new piece of research
- 0:31from one of the most respected, most loved analyst in the gold
- 0:36and silver sector. And to me, it became crystal
- 0:39clear. You know that feeling when
- 0:41you're reading something and you're like, Oh yeah, that makes
- 0:44sense. That makes perfect, perfect
- 0:46sense. And embedded in this research
- 0:48are some incredible facts about the gold and silver markets that
- 0:52we'll talk about as well. First, I owe you a big, big,
- 0:55major apology. Not only was I late to get onto
- 0:58the live stream video this morning, so I apologize for
- 1:01that, but also I've made a prediction that we would get
- 1:04$44.00 silver. I don't know if you can see it,
- 1:07but we've got it on the Christmas tree back there.
- 1:09We promised that by Christmas. There is still hope.
- 1:13My fellow basement dwellers. Do you think it's possible that
- 1:16we could see a massive rally here in the next 4 weeks and see
- 1:21$44.00 silver? But it is becoming more of a
- 1:25they hope than a realistic reality.
- 1:27The reason why that's the case is because of the Donald Trump
- 1:31election Black Swan. Again, we don't hear anybody
- 1:34else calling the Donald Trump election a Black Swan.
- 1:37And just the fact that he was elected itself isn't the Black
- 1:41Swan. It is the overwhelming level of
- 1:46the, of the, of the victory that he had that I think shocked
- 1:49everyone. Everyone thought that it would
- 1:52be a, a contested election, all that, that we'd be going through
- 1:55that we just now be finding out who our next president was.
- 1:59But it was just an overwhelming situation, like a reverse Black
- 2:03Swan almost, right? Like it was very orderly and and
- 2:07I'm not at all making any kind of political statement here,
- 2:09just stating the facts of what occurred.
- 2:12And it created this strange environment in a lot of the
- 2:15markets for the last three weeks.
- 2:18That's not going away. OK.
- 2:20And that did hurt the silver price, no doubt about it, right?
- 2:23We were at $35 silver on Halloween, October 31st.
- 2:30Little did we know that we should have been scared more
- 2:32than more more than by just the little monsters coming to our
- 2:36doors. We should have been scared about
- 2:37the silver price dropping because it did drop.
- 2:40But let's talk about something positive.
- 2:43And that is what the silver price did last night.
- 2:46OK, I woke up and silver was down like $0.60.
- 2:51I checked the silver price last night before bed Betty boom boom
- 2:54time. You know before I after I kissed
- 2:57Susie goodnight and I'm silver was down $0.50.
- 3:01Let's go take a look and see what it's doing now because I
- 3:03want to show you a few things on the charts that I think are very
- 3:06optimistic as we look at the silver price.
- 3:09I think Susie might be on the live stream as well.
- 3:12Maybe she can yell down to me as she is.
- 3:14But here's a AA1 day chart of the silver price.
- 3:18Guys, look at this, we were as low as basically $30.00 and
- 3:23let's say 50 cents, $30.60 nonetheless, right, We've
- 3:28rallied and rallied up by almost $0.50 as we are recording this
- 3:33live right now at 8:43 AM Central time on December 2nd,
- 3:372024. This is big look at that move
- 3:41that we had in silver. I was, you know that I don't
- 3:44know about you, right? Like I, I know we're not
- 3:47supposed to watch the silver price.
- 3:49We're not even supposed to really care what silver's priced
- 3:51in dollars, but the reality is we all pay attention to it.
- 3:55And it was a sinking feeling. And this is very optimistic.
- 3:58Now what I want to show you that I'm finding interesting on the
- 4:01one year chart and let's get the crayons out here real quick is
- 4:05that if you look over the last month right we were I don't know
- 4:11but early well, hold on let me this is going to be easier for
- 4:16me to show this to you on a one month chart.
- 4:22So basically, guys, since 11/8, so 3 weeks, 4 weeks, we've been
- 4:28in a range, trading in a range in the silver price between
- 4:32about $31.50 and $30.50. We will eventually break out.
- 4:39The important thing to remember here with silver is as we look
- 4:42at this, we will eventually break out.
- 4:44A lot of people like to draw these wedges right here.
- 4:49I'll draw a wedge for you as we come down from the, from the $35
- 4:55high in October up to here, as you can see, the price is
- 4:58getting compressed, compressed. It's even getting more
- 5:02compressed in this, in this $1.00 range.
- 5:05Eventually here, it's going to have to either break to the
- 5:09upside or break to the downside. I believe it's going to break to
- 5:14the upside. I can't see the silver price
- 5:16given all of the dynamics going on.
- 5:18Don't forget, this is the huge news story, China.
- 5:22It is so important as silver investors that we pay attention
- 5:26to what's going on in China, in the PBOC, the People's Bank of
- 5:30China changed the rules. That's massive, right?
- 5:34Remember, China's either the biggest or the second biggest
- 5:37economy in the world, depending on who you want to listen to.
- 5:40And we know that China is definitely the biggest
- 5:43manufacturing country in the world and that they are
- 5:46clamoring for more and more silver in the PBOC.
- 5:50Their central bank changed the rules on who can trade silver on
- 5:55the Shanghai Gold Exchange. OK.
- 5:58And the Shanghai Gold Exchange is the world's physical silver
- 6:03market. I've never thought that we just,
- 6:05that's brand new thing, right? Did a light bulb just go off in
- 6:07your head? Did you see me lighten up when I
- 6:09said that, right? The Shanghai Gold Exchange is
- 6:13the world's physical gold exchange, right?
- 6:16The COMEX in the LBMA, they trade make believe silver.
- 6:20They trade paper silver, right? At a ratio of 411 paper oz for
- 6:26each one real oz. So, so as we look at this move
- 6:32that we're going to go through here into 2025, if we just
- 6:36consider China alone, that is super supportive, super bullish
- 6:41for the silver price. They are the world's biggest
- 6:44manufacturer. They have 1.4 billion people.
- 6:48And I wish I still had the charts up and I had some charts
- 6:51that showed that in India also, right?
- 6:53The amount of silver going into their ETP products is
- 6:57skyrocketing. Like in the last, I think it was
- 7:00three or four years, it started at 0 and now it's at if my
- 7:04calculations were correct, almost 35,000,000 oz that Indian
- 7:09investors right are holding in ETP products.
- 7:13That doesn't even count all the silver that Indian investor.
- 7:17So the silver outlook remains very, very optimistic.
- 7:21And the other thing I want to mention is when it comes to
- 7:24look, why did silver, why are we not, why are why are you mad at
- 7:27me? Why, how could you be mad at me?
- 7:31All right, I predicted $44.00 silver by Christmas.
- 7:34You have every right to say right?
- 7:35And I, but I said don't make any financial decisions based on
- 7:38anything I say. I could be wrong.
- 7:41I'm usually not, but often am wrong as we, as we look at the
- 7:46what caused it with Trump, right?
- 7:49What I'm calling a Black Swan, and that's not a, I'm not saying
- 7:52that in a negative way, right? Or it was a reverse back Black
- 7:55Swan, whatever, right? It was a surprise, right, that
- 7:58the Trump thing and, and, and like we already discussed the
- 8:01last three weeks, the markets are, are, are, are struggling to
- 8:05understand what's going on. The Trump uncertainty is not
- 8:10going away. OK, Look at just what happened
- 8:13over the weekend with the 100% tariffs.
- 8:15We're going to talk about that more later on.
- 8:18And I've got a piece, an idea, a point, a fact that's going to
- 8:24blow you away that nobody else is talking about.
- 8:28This is a Ron's Basement exclusive.
- 8:30I didn't get this from reading this one actually was generated
- 8:34between my ears and it's going to blow you over.
- 8:36But let's talk about $8000 gold. Do you believe $8000 gold?
- 8:42Oh, no, gold can never do that. Now it's OK for a crypto to go
- 8:46up 400% in three days, right? Unicorn.
- 8:49I guess that's because it's Unicorn fart dust.
- 8:51But none the less, we can't talk about, well, no, we can talk
- 8:56about $8000 gold and it could be a reality and it could happen
- 9:00much sooner than you or I even really want to anticipate.
- 9:05Let's go back out though and check on the silver and gold
- 9:08price. We're going to go to channel
- 9:09sponsor Pinbex Pi MB EX pinbex.com and let's press the
- 9:16that's the magic button there. Let's press it.
- 9:18Come on. OK, silver down 11 cents, gold
- 9:22down $12.00. It's OK, right?
- 9:24Volatility will happen right now if you want to buy silver, gold
- 9:29or platinum group medals, maybe you're going to buy some gifts
- 9:31for some loved ones for the holidays.
- 9:33It's always important that you get the best price.
- 9:37Of course you want to make sure you're getting real silver, real
- 9:41gold, and Pinbex is a company you can trust.
- 9:44Now you do your own due diligence.
- 9:45I'll never tell you what to do, but I'll tell you my experience.
- 9:49I did research on Pinbex before they sponsored the basement.
- 9:52I bought gold and I'm sorry, didn't buy gold silver from
- 9:56Pinbex before they sponsored the basement.
- 9:59I trust Pinbex, the basement dweller community based on
- 10:03overwhelming positive response I've received from you.
- 10:06Trust Pinbacks. But what's even better with
- 10:08Pinbacks on top of the fact that you can trust them is their
- 10:11prices are always ultra competitive on the same
- 10:14products. The exact same products that you
- 10:17can see at other big online bullion dealer websites.
- 10:20Often times with silver you can save a dollar or so per oz.
- 10:24So do yourself a favor, if you're going to buy, just
- 10:27consider give them a shot and I think you'll find what I found.
- 10:31Pembex is best. Now let's talk about $8000 gold
- 10:37and you know what that would do to the silver price right now.
- 10:39This comes from Igon Von Guares. If you don't know who this guy
- 10:45is, he's super respected. He's been in the silver and gold
- 10:50area, the market for decades and he put out a piece of work here.
- 10:55It's has some some data in here that is absolutely incredulous.
- 11:01You know, I was shaking. I was shaking.
- 11:03I didn't realize some of these facts about silver and gold.
- 11:07But he says the gold will rise. Gold will rise by multiples.
- 11:12Hey, I roughly figured 3 XI came up with $8000 gold.
- 11:16I think that Egon would say even higher.
- 11:19But listen to this. I'm going to read just the
- 11:21highlights to you, but this just be prepared.
- 11:23Get a cup of coffee. This is good is eastern and
- 11:28southern central banks substantially increase their
- 11:31gold holdings. Western central banks will most
- 11:33probably have little physical gold in their coffers.
- 11:38Total global gold reserves allegedly held by central banks,
- 11:4337,000 tons, are valued at 3.1 trillion at the current market
- 11:49price of about $2700 gold. OK, so there's $3 trillion of
- 11:54gold held by world central banks.
- 11:57That value is absurd. When one U.S. company.
- 12:01This blew me away. I've never thought about this.
- 12:04Microsoft has the same valuation.
- 12:08Yes, one company, a software company.
- 12:11Don't even make anything physical, just software.
- 12:14Microsoft has the same valuation as all the gold held by all the
- 12:20world central banks. Just think about it.
- 12:22Microsoft is as big as the gold is as big as the goal backing
- 12:26the global financial system. Furthermore, western central
- 12:32banks have have most probably I'm going to make sure I got you
- 12:36on the right screen, which I do. Western central banks have most
- 12:41probably hypothecated and re hypothecated which means lent or
- 12:45least their gold several times via bullion banks.
- 12:49But that gold will never come back.
- 12:51Consequently, central banks are heavily short on gold and will
- 12:56be badly squeezed when the gold market becomes disorderly.
- 13:00What he's saying is that a lot of these banks have leased out,
- 13:04right, It basically sold their gold and they're going to have
- 13:06to cover the possibly some of these central banks are short on
- 13:11gold. The combination of eastern
- 13:13southern central banks gold buying that would be the BRICS
- 13:16countries and all central banks replacing their dollar reserves
- 13:21with gold will lead to unprecedented demand for gold
- 13:25for many years more. Gold cannot satisfy this demand
- 13:29since the current goldmine production of around 3000 tons
- 13:34cannot be increased. You can't just print more gold.
- 13:38You can't just create more gold out of thin air.
- 13:41Thus, the substantial increase in physical gold demand can only
- 13:44be satisfied by much, much higher prices.
- 13:48This is why gold will rise by multiples.
- 13:51And he says the article, the article could stop here.
- 13:56But no, why do that? Cuz we're going to look at some
- 13:58of these charts and data. Here's the gold price from 1971
- 14:03through 2024, right? That's when Nixon took us off
- 14:07the gold standard in green. Gold is up 78 times since Nixon
- 14:13closed the gold window in 1971. Think about that guys in 197135
- 14:19paper U.S. dollars would buy you an ounce of gold today.
- 14:25What does that get you? That doesn't even get you a gram
- 14:28of gold right? It gets you what about 1/3 of a
- 14:30gram of gold right? Gold has gone from $35 to 2726
- 14:36hundred dollars since Nixon closed that gold standard.
- 14:40This this next one, this is an exit example is is crazy.
- 14:44Just look at the chart above which shows the relentless bull
- 14:47gold market. We just look at that is I've
- 14:48stated in many articles gold is now in its exponential phase.
- 14:54I've shown my illustration of what exponential means with this
- 14:58picture. OK, I don't know if I I can't.
- 15:00OK, this is a picture of a football stadium.
- 15:03OK, how long does it take to fill this massive football
- 15:08stadium with water? This is an example of
- 15:12exponential growth. If you do one drop, one drop of
- 15:16water per minute, the number of and the number of drops double s
- 15:21every minute. So you do one drop per minute,
- 15:25but you double the drop. So the first minute you do one
- 15:28drop. A minute later you add 2 drops.
- 15:31A minute after that you add 4 drops.
- 15:33A minute after that you add 8 drops.
- 15:36OK, how long does it take to fill this whole football
- 15:40stadium? A day, a month, a year?
- 15:42No, only 50 minutes. This is a mathematical fact
- 15:47guys. How full is it after 45 minutes?
- 15:51Remember it takes 50 minutes to fill the whole stadium with
- 15:54water. It's only 75.
- 15:56No, after 45 minutes it's only 7% full.
- 16:01In the final 5 minutes it went from being 7% full of water to
- 16:06100% full of water. That example always blows my
- 16:10mind and it's been about a year since I've shown shown it.
- 16:12And he says they make it clear Gold is now in a phase where the
- 16:16price will go up by multiples. OK, talks about major gold
- 16:22selling by world central banks. OK, this is a crazy chart.
- 16:26Let me see if I can make this bigger for you.
- 16:30Hold on here, guys. This shows well, this basically
- 16:33shows in green that from. Hold on, this didn't show up on
- 16:38the computer as much as I wanted it to.
- 16:41All right, that's a little better.
- 16:45This chart is a little blit, little bit blurry, a little blit
- 16:50central bank gold demand. OK, so this shows us that from
- 16:55boy up to about 2006, right? For decades we had central banks
- 17:00selling gold. That's the green down there on
- 17:03the left. Central bank sold gold during
- 17:05the late 1990s amid generally good macroeconomic conditions,
- 17:10right? That's when everything was
- 17:11great. Then we had OK, thank you.
- 17:15Hey, thank you Don Howe for the Super chat and thank you to
- 17:17Susie for providing me a update text there.
- 17:20Then there was a big shift here, what around 2008 around the time
- 17:25of the great financial crisis where we saw gold, central bank
- 17:29gold buying take off. This is not a western.
- 17:33This is all the BRICS countries, basically all the eastern
- 17:37countries, buying gold for their central banks.
- 17:40Next, history tells us that gold should never be sold.
- 17:44If politicians and central bankers ever studied history,
- 17:47they would know that no paper money has ever survived.
- 17:51Ever. Ever.
- 17:52Guys, guys, we got to remember this when we're looking at these
- 17:56markets. No paper money, no man made
- 18:00money ever, ever in history. Never, ever, ever, ever, ever,
- 18:05ever, ever, ever survived. Never.
- 18:08OK, none of these right paper dollars ever survived and I'm
- 18:13sorry for you crypto fans. No man made form of money has
- 18:18ever survived, only gold and silver, not anti crypto.
- 18:24I'm not even anti paper money. I love paper money when it's
- 18:27backed by real hard assets. None the less, let's get back to
- 18:31our article 'cause he's got a few more statistics in here that
- 18:35are really mind numbing. OK, hold on, let's go down here.
- 18:39Here we go. Ralph Waldo Emerson even said
- 18:43gold is for freedom and benefit. Fort Knox holds.
- 18:47This is talking about the gold in Fort Knox.
- 18:50Fort Knox, the supposed 8000 tons of gold that our government
- 18:53supposedly has in Fort Knox that we have not been able to audit
- 18:57since what, 1955 or something like that?
- 19:00They just say just believe us, it's there, OK?
- 19:03Fort Knox holds nothing but Moss and half eaten IO us.
- 19:08Vince Lancey of Gold Fix recently wrote that article.
- 19:12All right, I mean we could talk about this for hours.
- 19:14I'm just trying to hit the highlights here.
- 19:18OK here Egon. In reality, a central bank only
- 19:22holds an IOU issued by a bullion bank.
- 19:25If the central bank attempts to reclaim the gold, it will never
- 19:28get it back as the gold has likely been sold to buyers in
- 19:32China or India who have purchased it outright with no
- 19:35obligation to return it. OK, let's move on down here.
- 19:41I'm going to reduce this a little bit for us.
- 19:45Here we go. Here we go.
- 19:49Make it a little more readable for you.
- 19:50Hopefully. Gold is up 11 * 11 X in the
- 19:542000s here. So here we are 24 years into the
- 19:5821st century. From 2000 to 2024, gold is up 11
- 20:03times in U.S. dollars. More in in many in other
- 20:07currencies, as we know, it's up a lot more.
- 20:09We've looked at gold and Canadian dollars.
- 20:11We've looked at gold in Australian dollars.
- 20:14OK, between 2001 and 2011, gold rose 8X with no single down
- 20:20year. In the past 24 years, we've seen
- 20:22an incredible strong. Market in gold and we'll say
- 20:27silver as well with virtually no one participating.
- 20:31Still only .5% of global global we talk about US global, even
- 20:38.5% of global financial assets are invested in gold.
- 20:43And I would, I would, I don't think it's a stretch to say that
- 20:46that number is probably even much lower that percentage for
- 20:49silver. So virtually nobody understands
- 20:53or invest in it. All right, there's, there's a
- 20:55chart showing, right, this is like .5% that that how little of
- 21:01the world's financial assets, OK, OK, gold is outperformed.
- 21:06Nobody talks about this vastly outperformed stocks in the 2000s
- 21:10in the past 24 years, the S&P 500 with dividends reinvested,
- 21:15OK, the S&P 500 with dividends reinvested rose by 572%.
- 21:21Gold is up 990% for the same period with much less
- 21:27volatility. Gold ownership is in silver and
- 21:30ownership I'm a silver stacker is like a hidden, well guarded,
- 21:34parted secret. Very few, not even professional
- 21:37investors know that gold is gone up 1000% or 11 times this
- 21:43century. So few people own gold.
- 21:46OK? History proves that gold over
- 21:50the medium long term always reflects the government's
- 21:52irresponsibility and an opportunistic management of the
- 21:55company. This is what I this is what hit
- 21:57me hard about that last night when I read that.
- 22:00Guys, think about all that debt, all the debt.
- 22:04If we just look at the US debt, if we just go out.
- 22:06Let's go check out. Let's go on a field trip.
- 22:09I forgot the most important part.
- 22:11You give me 30 seconds. OK.
- 22:14You are important. It's a big honor when you join
- 22:17us here in the basement. We love to talk about our
- 22:19favorite subject. Do you love to talk about silver
- 22:22and gold? I think you do.
- 22:23That's why you're here, right? Let's make it clear.
- 22:27You're part of the tribe. You might as well subscribe and
- 22:30give us a thumbs up while you're at it.
- 22:31Thank you for the Super chat. Thank.
- 22:33Thank you for the Super. Thanks.
- 22:34Let's pull up Don Howe. Good morning, Don, a regular
- 22:38contributor and much appreciated.
- 22:40Thank you very much. OK, so we're going to go out to
- 22:45the the debt clock quickly. OK.
- 22:48This is what hit me last night. You can look at this thing all
- 22:51day long. It's mind numbing, right?
- 22:53OK, All that debt is can only result in one thing, guys.
- 23:00It can only result in one thing. I don't care what Donald Trump
- 23:04and Elon Musk and Vivak Rama Swami do.
- 23:08We've got the debt. It's here, OK?
- 23:10They can't magically erase the debt.
- 23:12And it is growing. And it likely, despite all these
- 23:16campaign promises, it will likely, they're estimating grow
- 23:20by 7 trillion during Donald Trump's presidency.
- 23:23The only result of all that debt is devaluation of the dollar.
- 23:28There's no other way, no matter how you slice it or dice it, no
- 23:32matter what you do with all that debt and all that debt growing,
- 23:37OK, it's a mathematical certainty that the value of the
- 23:42paper Unicorn fart does money that supports it goes down.
- 23:46That's going to happen. It's a certainty, right?
- 23:48And as I was reading this last night, it just, it hit me.
- 23:52It hit me and then it also hit me that how can all the gold
- 23:56held by all the world central banks, all the gold be equal to
- 24:02the market cap of one company? Microsoft?
- 24:07Here's a great I've never seen this.
- 24:08This is a box that shows global gold stocks.
- 24:12OK, this is all the gold in the world here.
- 24:17Where is it? I'm just going to read something
- 24:19to you. I can just tell you, right?
- 24:21That's all the gold in the world, 201,000 tons, remember?
- 24:26And there's the picture 22 meters.
- 24:29OK, by 22 meters, it's a think of a football field.
- 24:32Maybe you watch some American football over the weekend,
- 24:36right? And there's A and think of 20
- 24:38yards, a little over think of 25 yards, whatever, 25 yard.
- 24:42That's where they put the football when they do, when the
- 24:45when the kickoff goes into the end zone, right, The 25 yard
- 24:49line, think from the end zone to the 25 yard line.
- 24:52Think that length. And then think of a cube that's
- 24:5525 long, 25 wide. That's all the gold that's ever
- 24:58been mined in the history of the world.
- 25:01This shocked me, right? Look at the, the, the, the, the
- 25:04portion of it that is taken up by jewelry.
- 25:08OK, but there's the central bank holdings and there's private
- 25:11investment. Central banks have 3.1 trillion
- 25:15worth private investment. That would be you, right?
- 25:19I have 3.6 trillion worth. Jewelry was way bigger than I
- 25:23thought it. 8 trillion. And there's the below ground
- 25:26known gold, probably like the reserves that are held by the
- 25:29mining companies that have not yet been mined out of the earth.
- 25:32And it takes a lot of cost and a lot of effort to get that gold
- 25:35out of the ground. Central banks allegedly hold
- 25:39that amount. OK.
- 25:40Only 201,000 tons of gold have been produced in history.
- 25:43All this gold is assumed to still the beat still be around,
- 25:48although some might be at the bottom of the sea or hidden
- 25:50forever. Just under half is used for
- 25:53jewelry, which is crazy. But now comes the very important
- 25:58figures. Only 43 tons or 3.6 trillion is
- 26:02held by private investors like you, basement dwellers.
- 26:07If we compare that to the biggest U.S. companies, only
- 26:12NVIDIA has a market cap of 3.5 trillion and that's probably
- 26:16even higher now. And so does Apple.
- 26:19OK, that means that means that NVIDIA alone, Apple alone,
- 26:24right? Microsoft alone and then
- 26:26companies behind it are almost worth as much as all the gold
- 26:31held by investors in the world. Even more astounding is that all
- 26:35the gold held by central banks 3.1 trillion, which is the same
- 26:39as Micro Microsoft's market cap. So the shareholders of Microsoft
- 26:43could swap their shares against all the central bank gold in the
- 26:48world, right? I mean, it's just absolutely
- 26:51crazy. There's JP Morgan, gold is
- 26:54money. Everything else is credit and
- 26:56Unicorn fart dust. And these tech stocks, we won't
- 26:59go down that path, but they are just like unbelievable
- 27:04evaluations. Some people may call it a
- 27:07bubble. I'll leave that up to you.
- 27:08Don't forget I got some some crazy insights about this Donald
- 27:12Trump tariff stuff too. Guys.
- 27:13We will get to that next. The dollars on its way to 0,
- 27:16right? This shows since 1971 when we
- 27:19had $35 gold. This is the opposite way to look
- 27:23at what we talked about earlier that the dollar lost, OK, from
- 27:291971 to 2024, the dollar lost 99% of its value, right?
- 27:36How much more will it lose? We know that.
- 27:40We know the trend, no doubt about it.
- 27:42The total market cap of the top ten U.S. companies is almost 20
- 27:46trillion. If we look at that cube above
- 27:48again, at today's price, all the gold ever produced in history
- 27:53is, at today's price, worth about 17 trillion, probably even
- 27:58lower than that. That means all the gold ever
- 28:01mined in the history of the world is worth all the gold in
- 28:06the entire world. All of it, including what you
- 28:09own, right? If you combine all the gold in
- 28:12the world, OK, it is worth less than the top ten countries in
- 28:17the United States. Gold's undervalued by multiples
- 28:20and he says here is our friend Bill Bonner recently wrote in
- 28:23his wonderful style, sooner or later this is powerful.
- 28:28The lava flow, the lava flows of red hot credit, right debt,
- 28:32credit make believe, Ponzi paper, whatever you want to call
- 28:36it are going to meet up with the cold reality of rising interest
- 28:41rates. When this happens, most likely
- 28:44stocks, bonds and real estate will be buried like like
- 28:47Pompeii. Some investors will take a big
- 28:49loss, big deal markets are correct all the time, but we're
- 28:53not making predictions. We're just looking at the worst
- 28:56case scenario and it could be far worse than just a market
- 29:00sell off. OK, what Bill states above is an
- 29:03inevitable and got in gold's coming rise by multiples is a
- 29:08senequit non in absolute prerequisite.
- 29:12OK, all right guys, let's go. Let's move on here.
- 29:18This is such a great article. Again, this is at, at at von von
- 29:23Gyares dot gold. The case for gold.
- 29:25Man, does that not make you feel?
- 29:28It made me feel almost certain. When we look, look, I mean, Can
- 29:32you believe all the gold in the world, all the gold which has
- 29:38been valuable since the beginning of time, ever been
- 29:41valuable everywhere in the world is worth less than were.
- 29:46Thank you, Silver Sparky, for that.
- 29:48Super chat is worth less than the top top ten US corporations,
- 29:54right? Many of which have very, very
- 29:56little assets. OK.
- 29:58Oh, my gosh. We're getting all kinds.
- 29:59Hold on. I want to say thank you to
- 30:03Silver Sparky. Everyone smash that thumbs up.
- 30:05Yeah. Hey, I don't ask that very
- 30:07often. Let's get some thumbs up going,
- 30:09huh, guys, What do you say? Thank you, Silver Sparky.
- 30:12And and Justin. Thank you, Justin.
- 30:16All right. Thanks for all.
- 30:17Thank you, Justin. Hey, it's my pleasure.
- 30:20Yes, we work very hard. But you know what?
- 30:22Nobody forces me to do this. And I love it.
- 30:24The best part are the people. You.
- 30:27OK, let's talk about what's going on with with Trump Here in
- 30:32one second. OK, here in one second.
- 30:35Let's do that right now. Then we'll come back to this
- 30:38other stuff. OK, This is a big point.
- 30:40This is a Ron's Basement exclusive.
- 30:42This is one of those things that's sitting right there in
- 30:45front of everybody's face, but nobody's realizing it.
- 30:48Kind of like I don't realize I have my glasses on most of the
- 30:51time when I'm talking to you guys.
- 30:53And this has to do everything with what's going to happen with
- 30:56the silver and gold price and these 100% tariffs.
- 30:59OK, so let me lead up to this. Give me a little time to lead
- 31:02up. Let's all have a quick sip of
- 31:04coffee and we're going to talk some crazy news.
- 31:15OK, so we got this big, big news from Trump over the weekend that
- 31:20it he is, he lashed out at the BRICS countries and said if you
- 31:24guys even think about think about having your own currency
- 31:28to trade amongst yourselves, to conduct trades amongst
- 31:31yourselves, I'm going to put 100% tariffs on you, OK, A big,
- 31:35big, big threat. OK, now think about this.
- 31:40If we weren't losing, this is not the big point.
- 31:43I'll tell you when we get to this big critical point, OK?
- 31:47And I mean, it blew me away when I thought about this, but if we
- 31:50weren't losing to the bricks, if we weren't losing, if they
- 31:54weren't winning, then why would Trump make this shocking 100%
- 31:58tariff announcement? OK?
- 32:01Is he afraid? Is he afraid of the bricks gold
- 32:04back currency? Is are the central bankers in
- 32:06the United States afraid in the West of the of a bricks gold
- 32:09back currency? OK, And there's a so there's a
- 32:12reason why all these countries are buying gold.
- 32:16OK, Now point #1 and this is not the big one, but how can you not
- 32:21say that a threat like that of a 100% tariffs, if you don't use
- 32:26the dollar, how can you not say that that's not additional
- 32:33weaponization of the US dollar? We weaponize the dollar against
- 32:38the Russians at the onset of the Ukraine, excuse me, conflict.
- 32:43We know what that led to. That led to countries buying
- 32:46more and more and more gold and silver, right?
- 32:51We weaponize the dollar. Now we're now we're saying that
- 32:56if you don't stay with the dollar, we're going to we're
- 32:59going to put 100% tariffs on you.
- 33:00So how can we say this is that's not the big point, OK, That's
- 33:04not it. But that's a big point.
- 33:06That's a big major point. OK.
- 33:08And here it is. OK, My question would be, OK, if
- 33:15Donald Trump is out there saying, OK, but you got to use
- 33:20the dollar, the almighty dollar or we're going to we're going to
- 33:23put all these tariffs on you and he's defending the dollar and
- 33:26defending the dollar. How can he, how can he be be
- 33:30doing that defending the dollar, but at the same time be Mr. Pro
- 33:35Crypto, pro Bitcoin because aren't crypto in Bitcoin
- 33:39supposed to be this alternative to the US dollar?
- 33:44Aren't they like the enemy of the US dollar?
- 33:48So how can he say we need to defend the US dollar?
- 33:51We need to, if you don't use the dollar for trade, well then
- 33:56we're going to put slap one hundred 100% tariffs on you on
- 33:59one hand, but then in the other hand say, well, I love Bitcoin,
- 34:04I love crypto. We're going to be the Bitcoin
- 34:06crypto. Does that make sense?
- 34:08That to me that doesn't make sense because all the Bitcoin
- 34:11and crypto people have always said, well, we're the
- 34:12alternative to the Fiat dollar system.
- 34:17To go even step further, I would almost say at this point the
- 34:22crypto is becoming more embedded with the US dollar, becoming
- 34:26more part of the very system that all I'd heard over the last
- 34:3110 years they were working to fight against.
- 34:33I don't know. I just, I find it all very
- 34:36interesting, all very ironic in terms of how the situation is
- 34:42being held. I want to show you a, a
- 34:44subscriber comment, right? I always encourage you guys to
- 34:47comment and you come up with some great points.
- 34:50This one came from Arun Kumar. He said tariff policy will
- 34:55backfire on the USA than more than than more so than on the
- 34:59bricks. More and more countries will
- 35:01join the bricks as a noble group trading in their own currencies
- 35:04with each other. Weaponizing the dollar and
- 35:07seizing assets by the West was a turning point for sovereign
- 35:11countries to move away from the dollar denominated trade.
- 35:14Endless printing of dollars by the USA without backing it up
- 35:19with hard assets is the real reason for other countries to
- 35:22trade with their own currencies. It's the way forward in the
- 35:26future, you know, and I I think that it it's starting to feel
- 35:30that way, definitely starting to feel that way.
- 35:35OK, there's going to be a big period of uncertainty as we head
- 35:40into this inauguration of Trump and there's going to be another
- 35:44major period of uncertainty after he's in office, OK, We, we
- 35:50don't know what to expect during this 2025.
- 35:53I look, I am not, I'm, I'm, I'm not a political statement at
- 35:58all. I'm just stating the facts.
- 36:00That's what we have coming down the Pike.
- 36:02And all of this is we have Donald Trump, who can be quite
- 36:07tumultuous, right? He's a man of his conviction.
- 36:09He's he's he does some, let's say, strong moves.
- 36:16OK? All of this is happening in a
- 36:19world that is geopolitically in a more uncertain state than any
- 36:24other time in history. I mean, look what happened with
- 36:26Syria over the weekend. I'm going to show you.
- 36:29I thought this was probably, you know, trying to understand if
- 36:33you're anything like me, the situation in the Middle East is
- 36:36mind boggling. And I thought this this cartoon
- 36:40summed it up. This came from gold stock trades
- 36:42on X Middle East is a boondoggle.
- 36:46OK. And if you look at this cartoon,
- 36:48maybe this is the best way for us to understand what's going on
- 36:51in the Middle East right now. You've got us over here.
- 36:54The anti ISIS, I guess it was old from Obama, but I think this
- 36:57still makes sense and it shows all the different interesting
- 37:01countries in the Middle East, right?
- 37:03There's Russia, and it shows when they're pointing guns who
- 37:08they don't like. You know, you've got Assad in
- 37:10Syria. You have Turkey who doesn't like
- 37:12the Iraqis but doesn't like Assad.
- 37:14But you have Assad who doesn't like ISIL.
- 37:17You have they don't like Israel. Israel doesn't like Saudi
- 37:20Arabia's over there. They don't like Assad.
- 37:22They have Iran. They don't like Saudi Arabia and
- 37:25they don't like, I mean, it's so confusing.
- 37:28But that's what's going on in our world right now, right?
- 37:32And that's why we choose to protect ourselves with silver
- 37:36and gold, right? It's a confusing situation.
- 37:39It's tumultuous. And we have a president coming
- 37:42into office who has a history, right, who has a history of, of
- 37:48making bold moves, I'll put it that way.
- 37:52We know his history is a businessman.
- 37:54We know his history as a as a president, right?
- 37:57And we know that there can be, let's just say, a certain degree
- 38:00of uncertainty. So all that uncertainty with
- 38:03Donald Trump gets locked on top of a world.
- 38:07This is not the year 2000, things were much calmer than,
- 38:11right. This is not 2008.
- 38:13Things were much calmer than the world has changed dramatically
- 38:18over the last five years. The world has changed
- 38:21dramatically over the last 10 years.
- 38:24Think about it. LOP on top of that, OK, the
- 38:28uncertainty that is embedded with Donald Trump, LOP on top of
- 38:32that, the the US fiscal situation, the amount of debt.
- 38:36And it's not just and then LOP on LOP lop, if that's a word
- 38:41pile on top of that that it's not just the United States, it's
- 38:45the whole world that has a debt problem.
- 38:49Guys, whatever it is now, 340 trillion, 370 trillion, it it's
- 38:54going to be absolutely crazy. Let's go do an update on the
- 38:58gold and silver price. And then we're going to talk
- 38:59about the big news story of the week, the biggest news story in
- 39:04the history of the planet. Let's go out to pen backs.
- 39:07Let's see how bad it got. OK, Down 16 cents.
- 39:10Hey, you know what better than being down $0.60 like we were
- 39:14earlier? Gold, down about $10 per oz at
- 39:17$2645 per oz. Is Susie still in the live
- 39:22stream? I'm going to show you guys
- 39:24unbelievable work that Susie, who's a big part of our channel,
- 39:29is done. That's us.
- 39:31There's our, I showed this the other day.
- 39:32That's our new Christmas tree, live Christmas tree.
- 39:36But when Susie and I first got married, I said absolutely, we
- 39:38will never have 5 Christmas trees.
- 39:40They're a waste of money. And for the last 20 years we've
- 39:43had a live Christmas tree every year.
- 39:45But look what she that's the outside of our house.
- 39:47Isn't that beautiful? I took that last night.
- 39:49Susie did all that by herself. Please tell her how beautiful it
- 39:53looks. And I will tell you that when
- 39:55the sun shines on our house during the day, it doesn't quite
- 39:57look that nice. That's a very, a very flattering
- 40:01picture of our of our home. Where was I?
- 40:05Here we go. Don't forget, guys, that's what
- 40:07you were dealing with right now. I pulled this up earlier.
- 40:12I didn't make this. This was a meme that was on
- 40:15Twitter. That's the world we're living
- 40:17in, right? How different are these two
- 40:19things? I want you to.
- 40:20I think what really drives at home is this.
- 40:24If we were, if I were to give you a test right now and you had
- 40:27a red marker and you're looking at this picture that's on your
- 40:30screen. You have a Monopoly dollar, you
- 40:33have a United States Federal Reserve note and you have 3
- 40:37ounces of silver. And I gave you a big red marker
- 40:41and I said you need to circle the two things on this, on this
- 40:46picture that are most similar. Which would you circle?
- 40:53I certainly hope that you would circle the Monopoly dollar and
- 40:57the US dollar because I'm telling you there's not much
- 41:00difference right now, right? And we're seeing it play out in
- 41:04real time in our country. Let's talk about the biggest
- 41:08news item that we're going to get this week that will likely
- 41:11move the price of gold and silver.
- 41:13Luckily for us, we got about four days to prepare for it.
- 41:16But on Friday, we're going to get the jobs report that will
- 41:19impact, that will impact the price of silver and gold because
- 41:23we're at this point now where there's been more focus put on
- 41:27the Fed, right? The reason why is because
- 41:30there's been some mixed signals from the BSBLS, the Bureau of
- 41:35Labor and Statistics regarding just how good the US economy is
- 41:39doing. I don't know about you.
- 41:40Like, I'd take my mom and my daughters to the mall yesterday
- 41:43so they could do some Christmas shopping.
- 41:45I sat there. I don't shop.
- 41:47I never would buy anything at the mall myself, right?
- 41:49Like, you know, these beautiful Brooks Brothers shirts I wear, I
- 41:52buy on eBay, I'll leave it at that.
- 41:55But I sat there and observed just all these people.
- 41:58But I observed one thing. There were a lot of people, but
- 42:01I didn't see a lot of bags. People had bags, no doubt about
- 42:05it, a lot. It was a madhouse West County
- 42:07mall here in Saint Louis, like the upper, the upper upper
- 42:11middle class part of town. People didn't have that many
- 42:14bags. A lot of people, you know, and I
- 42:16purposely sat by they've got one of those mall trains, you know,
- 42:19where the kids they people take their little kids and the train
- 42:22goes around the mall. But anyway, people didn't have
- 42:26that many bags, but it was crowded.
- 42:28The Apple store and people going out the door.
- 42:31But but OK, back to gold and silver.
- 42:34The the jobs number, the jobs and people with like Susie and I
- 42:39raised twins. Our twin daughters are 12 now.
- 42:42I feel sorry for some of the parents out there.
- 42:44I, I remember what we went through.
- 42:46But when you've got two or three-year old kids, you know,
- 42:48two and three-year old kids. I didn't say this, one of my
- 42:50friends said this, but two and three-year old kids are like
- 42:54drunk people watching these little kids like throw fits
- 42:58about not being able to get on the train and whatever else.
- 43:01All right, I digress. Friday we're going to get jobs
- 43:04numbers. OK, Number 11, big thing to
- 43:07remember, right? These job numbers are
- 43:09fantasyland, but there's an increased focus from a silver
- 43:13and gold perspective on what the Fed will do as we go into these
- 43:17next few Fed meetings. We're going to get an update on
- 43:19that in one second. But if the jobs number comes in,
- 43:22unbelievably good, right? You know, besides the pardon
- 43:27that he just announced, that could be Joe.
- 43:29One of Joe Biden's swan songs during his last lame duck days
- 43:34here in office. Because by dynamics is working.
- 43:37It's working. Yeah, sure, Joe.
- 43:41Yeah. Anyway, so the jobs number,
- 43:46we'll, we'll look at it critically.
- 43:48We know something, we know one thing for sure, right?
- 43:51We know that from March of 2023 through March of 2024, the jobs
- 43:57numbers were overstated by at least 880,000 jobs, almost a
- 44:02million jobs. We know that every month when
- 44:05they give us these job numbers, they revise the previous two
- 44:09months and 95% of the time they are major downward revisions.
- 44:14Now, if we it, this could be happy, happy land.
- 44:17I got a little feeling I my predictions have been bad
- 44:20lately, so don't listen to me. But I got a little feeling that
- 44:23we're going to have a pleasant surprise on Friday that we're
- 44:26going to get some type of jobs number that's going to indicate
- 44:31that's going to that's going to send a fear of recession through
- 44:35the markets. OK.
- 44:36And guys, I got news for you that could be very good for the
- 44:40gold price and the silver price. Let's go out and take a look at
- 44:43the CME Fedwatch tool to see if there's been any change in the
- 44:48in the anticipation of what the Fed is going to do at their
- 44:53December meeting. Let's let this update.
- 44:55And hey, guy. All right, man, wow, 600 people.
- 45:00OK, it's moved a little bit. All right, this is the, this is
- 45:04for the 18th of December Fed meeting, which will be what, two
- 45:10weeks from Thursday of this week?
- 45:12So two weeks from Thursday of this week, we'll get an
- 45:16announcement by the Federal Reserve in regards to the
- 45:18monetary policy. Right now it's gone down a
- 45:22little bit. There's a 62% chance that they
- 45:25will cut rates by .25%. What this is setting up for, the
- 45:30reason why we want to watch this is it's been changing quite.
- 45:35Hold on a second. Susie said something.
- 45:39OK, We got 200 thumbs up, guys. Thank you very much.
- 45:43It's been changing quite rapidly.
- 45:45OK, we, we are in a period right now where the Fed is, has gained
- 45:50a little bit more credibility from a gold price and silver
- 45:54price perspective, nothing like they used to have, right?
- 45:58the Fed could, what they would do would have massive impacts,
- 46:01but gold and silver have have started more and more and more
- 46:06to ignore the Fed. However, I would say we're in a
- 46:09little bit of a period here where there's a little more
- 46:12weight being put back on to what the Fed does because things are
- 46:16kind of uncertain, right? We got a 6040 chance.
- 46:20There's a 40% chance that they won't cut rates at the next
- 46:24cycle. So we'll keep a close eye on
- 46:27that. Let's just go out to March and
- 46:29see how that's changed. We got a 42% chance that they'll
- 46:34cut rates by 1/4. The rates will be 1/4 percent
- 46:37lower and a 36% chance that by March, that's this from down to
- 46:444% from 4.5. So that would be down by 1/2
- 46:48percent. We're going to keep a very, very
- 46:50close eye on that. While we're out here.
- 46:52Let's go take a look at the dollar index.
- 46:55Oh boy, it shot up. What?
- 46:59That's weird. OK, so that's a one day chart.
- 47:04I wish that black box wasn't there.
- 47:06I'm going to move it out of the way.
- 47:08If you look at this guy's, that's a one day chart of the
- 47:11dollar index, you can see from about 8:00 AM this morning,
- 47:17Eastern Time. So whatever the time zone you're
- 47:20in till now, that's another. The dollar is moving like crazy
- 47:25also. We got to keep a close eye on
- 47:28that. Let's go out and look at silver
- 47:29one more time before things really get interesting.
- 47:34Silver's going to be down now. I'm going to warn you, we're
- 47:37updating that. Yeah, down $0.20 because the
- 47:40dollar is taking off. The general markets are holding
- 47:44in there. Very interesting, very
- 47:47interesting. Hey, while we're out here, thank
- 47:49you to channel sponsor First Mining Gold, advancing the
