  Are you in that place where you are confused about the

  difference between faith and actually what faith is not?

  I'm going to give you 2 or 3 examples today that will clearly
• 0:12
  give you a description of what faith is all about and the
• 0:16
  application of it. You know, most times if we pray
• 0:20
  for certain things, it looks like we're not getting the
• 0:23
  answers. And in some cases, some of us
• 0:25
  may even say we have faith, yet we didn't get the breakthrough,
• 0:30
  the miracle, the job, the promotion, the finances.
• 0:34
  And most times we believe that probably God does not care to
• 0:39
  respond to your prayers in as much as you try doing
• 0:43
  everything, even with the application of your feet.
• 0:46
  But there's an aspect of faith that we must understand today,
• 0:49
  you know, and it is crucial to have this understanding because
• 0:52
  it will position you to be effective in everything you do.
• 0:57
  Faith without walks is dead. What is that dimension of walks?

  Let me give you an analogy. A man called Abraham, God gave
• 1:06
  him a promise that he was going to have a child for many years,
• 1:10
  the period of of 25 years. So after the promise manifested,
• 1:15
  God now told him he needs to go sacrifice the baby.

  The name was Isaac. So Abraham responded to the PP
• 1:24
  up until the point of sacrifice. Then God told him now I know you
• 1:26
  love me right. So and the Bible says that that
• 1:30
  simple act of obedience. It proves to God that truly
• 1:34
  Abraham had faith in God and what is it by going to respond
• 1:39
  by sacrificing the reason why he did Allah was Isaac God was able
• 1:42
  to raise Isaac God from the dead.
• 1:45
  So you see filled without works is dead faith.
• 1:48
  Why? Because just as the body without
• 1:50
  the Spirit is dead, most times, what we call faith is not
• 1:54
  actually faith. So for example, you pray about
• 1:56
  money, you prayed about increasing prayer, about
• 1:58
  lifting, promotion, breakthrough, but there's no
• 2:01
  corresponding action in that direction.
• 2:04
  It means that you never actually had faith in God.
• 2:06
  Because let's say you are praying that there should not be
• 2:09
  arraigned. Probably you needed to go to the
• 2:11
  farm or something, or you need to go somewhere like there
• 2:14
  should not be. And maybe the cloud is helping
• 2:16
  form. So after that prayer and you're

  still, you're still sleeping in your room.

  It means you never had faith because if you had faith, you

  step out in the direction of what you prayed for or you

  prayed against. So that is another example.

  Second, if someone meets you and say they're hungry and or they

  don't have a house or they say need and then you tell them, let

  me pray for you. God will keep you warm.

  You will be, you'll be fully satisfied with food and you have
• 2:43
  the capacity to give them food that is not a prayer feed
• 2:46
  because feet, again without works is dead.

  Because now at that moment you were supposed to respond to them
• 2:55
  by giving them what they need, not by praying for them because
• 3:00
  already you had the capacity to be able to answer their request.

  So most times we believe we are working in feet, but actually we
• 3:10
  are having dead feet. So by so doing we're not going
• 3:13
  to see result. So what does God want for you?

  If you must walk by feet, you must take steps in the direction
• 3:22
  of what you have prayed for, in the direction of the things
• 3:25
  you're expecting God to do, and in the direction of the kind of
• 3:30
  result that you want to see in your life.

  Most times we find ourselves in the midst of uncertainties
• 3:36
  because we're not fully engaged, the kind of result we want to
• 3:41
  see. And that's why God is bringing
• 3:43
  this word for us today because most times we blame God, that
• 3:46
  probably God is not interested in our case or he doesn't want
• 3:50
  to respond. But actually you are not the one
• 3:52
