- 0:01Scientists nowadays are Speaking of infinite numbers of parallel
- 0:06universes, each one carrying out some different choice that can
- 0:11be worked out. Not every world is based on the
- 0:15same set of factors and choices as the world we currently
- 0:19inhabit. There are also realms that are
- 0:22not physical in the sense of the materiality of the existence,
- 0:27but which are much more fluid, vital domains or worlds of
- 0:31mental formations that exist in a space of pure mentality, et
- 0:35cetera. Many people have a hard time
- 0:39separating themselves sufficiently from the solidity
- 0:42and reality of the physical world to understand,
- 0:47acknowledge, and eventually relate to other worlds or
- 0:51domains. Yet we are clearly moving in the
- 0:54direction of gaining these insights, both on the scientific
- 0:58side, on the psychological side, and among those who practice the
- 1:04science of consciousness through yogic sadhna.
- 1:09Over the last couple of 100 years, the Western science of
- 1:12psychology took up the study of dreams and through the extensive
- 1:17work carried out by Freud, links and connections were made
- 1:21between dream events and various experiences in the world, past
- 1:26traumas or events, etcetera. However, this did not exhaust
- 1:31the subject and the work of CG. Jung went further to determine
- 1:36that some dreams related to what he called a collective
- 1:40unconscious, which is a separate domain shared by the mental
- 1:44vital space of humanity, not specifically related to an
- 1:49individual's trauma or event background.
- 1:53Some people reported various forms of prophetic dreams and
- 1:58others reported entering into other realms or worlds and
- 2:02interacting there. Some people visited what has
- 2:06been called the Akashic Record and found the history of
- 2:10humanity, past, present and future available to them for
- 2:14review in the time they were there.
- 2:18Others have received detailed teachings from gurus, teachers,
- 2:22or guides while in a type of dream state while not in the
- 2:26physical presence of those teachers.
- 2:30There is such an enormous number of potential experiences and
- 2:34they defy realistic description to those who have not had those
- 2:38experiences. Thus, the only way to truly
- 2:42understand these other states of awareness or other planes or
- 2:46domains is to consciously take up the study and begin to focus
- 2:51on and relate to the experiences one has and correlate them to
- 2:57those related by others or to other experiences one has
- 3:02oneself. In the end, the only true
- 3:06knowledge in this realm is knowledge through direct
- 3:08experience and through identity with the experienced state.
- 3:15When an individual takes up this type of review, it is important
- 3:18to recognize that much of the validity of the understanding
- 3:22must be based on the foundation provided by the individual who
- 3:27is experiencing and reporting. That is why an inner development
- 3:32is needed to ensure that the results reported are not tainted
- 3:37by desire, greed, fear, vanity or any other vital movement that
- 3:44can skew the results. The mother notes quote.
- 3:50So it is difficult to speak of all these worlds, these
- 3:54innumerable worlds, in a few minutes.
- 3:57It is a knowledge which needs a lived experience of many years,
- 4:02thoroughly systematic, and which requires, as I said, an inner
- 4:06preparation absolutely indispensable to make it
- 4:10harmless. We all get the chance to have a
- 4:14little contact, very partial, very superficial, with these
- 4:19worlds in our dreams, and the study of dreams itself already
- 4:23demands much time and care, and in itself may constitute a
- 4:29preparation for a deeper study of the invisible worlds.
