- 0:17Speaker 1: It is time to leave your worries outside and laugh
- 0:21Speaker 1: with us inside the Treehouse. I'm Daniel Malley, along with
- 0:26Speaker 1: Trey Trenholm, Raj Sharma and Jerry Caldwell. Today is Bad Day,
- 0:36Speaker 1: May second, twenty twenty five. Welcome inside the Treehouse Show.
- 0:39Speaker 1: On today's show, we're gonna talk about something that's a
- 0:45Speaker 1: little bit sexy and a.
- 0:46Speaker 2: Whole lot of stupid, my favorite. Yeah, and.
- 0:52Speaker 1: We had a pretty fun discussion with our buddy Justin
- 0:55Speaker 1: Fuster yesterday about the perils of climbing Everest. Well, that's
- 0:59Speaker 1: not the only mountain that has issues, and on this
- 1:02Speaker 1: planet we'll talk about an issue on Mount Fuji today
- 1:05Speaker 1: as well. Since it's Friday, I want to start with
- 1:10Speaker 1: something truly special.
- 1:14Speaker 2: And truly awesome.
- 1:18Speaker 1: Gentlemen, I am now going to share with you.
- 1:22Speaker 2: One of the most.
- 1:26Speaker 1: Shocking things I have ever seen in my life.
- 1:30Speaker 2: Are you ready? Oh? Yeah, here we go.
- 1:33Speaker 1: This is I believe this is the most shocking video
- 1:37Speaker 1: I have ever seen.
- 1:50Speaker 2: I'm gonna play it again.
- 1:52Speaker 1: But for those listening, uh and not watching, there's a
- 1:57Speaker 1: man recording on his phone inside of his car, and
- 2:01Speaker 1: going around the front of the car is another man
- 2:03Speaker 1: who's doing the peepee run. You really got to go
- 2:07Speaker 1: number one. And he runs behind a shed to relieve himself.
- 2:11Speaker 1: The problem is, it looks like this is not a
- 2:14Speaker 1: normal shed, This is like an electrical transformer house.
- 2:19Speaker 2: And he'd he what's that substation? Relay?
- 2:24Speaker 1: This guy ran behind an electrical substation to relieve himself,
- 2:28Speaker 1: and he chose poorly. And you hear it, you hear
- 2:40Speaker 1: the this is and then you see the flash, and
- 2:42Speaker 1: then you see the man fall backwards. I assume he's dead. Well, what,
- 2:49Speaker 1: I appreciate his sacrifice because it's making my friday.
- 2:54Speaker 3: Notice those red and white stripes on the corners of
- 2:57Speaker 3: the building, which to me generally indicate possible hazard.
- 3:03Speaker 1: That's a good point, Trey, because I don't know what
- 3:06Speaker 1: language the man is speaking in this video, but I
- 3:10Speaker 1: believe the red warning paint around the electrical substation building
- 3:14Speaker 1: should serve as a warning in any language.
- 3:30Speaker 2: This makes you a clench up man, you know.
- 3:35Speaker 4: And if he and if he did live, you know,
- 3:36Speaker 4: he's never peing the same again.
- 3:38Speaker 1: No, no, no, I imagine I imagined that in the
- 3:43Speaker 1: brief time that he he went t T on that
- 3:45Speaker 1: electrical substation, I think Urine came out of places it
- 3:48Speaker 1: was never meant to all at the same.
- 3:52Speaker 4: Time, you know, and we're dudes, like we'd never let
- 3:55Speaker 4: him live that down. Like you'd be in a bar
- 3:57Speaker 4: and he'd go to the bathroom and you just stay
- 4:00Speaker 4: behind him when he's at the unroom.
- 4:01Speaker 1: And like, seriously, okay, in this night scene, there are
- 4:20Speaker 1: all these different places that he could go to the bathroom,
- 4:25Speaker 1: the one spot in the general vicinity that he should
- 4:29Speaker 1: not go, and that's where he went, and that's what
- 4:32Speaker 1: he got.
- 4:33Speaker 2: They probably pulled over specifically to go behind there.
- 4:36Speaker 1: Mm hmm. I mean just beyond it are some trees.
- 4:40Speaker 1: H there was actually a sewer manhole cover he could.
- 4:44Speaker 2: Have, you know, just peed on that.
- 4:45Speaker 1: You can just be in the street, you're a dude,
- 4:46Speaker 1: doesn't matter. Go behind the car, Just stand behind the
- 4:50Speaker 1: car with your back to the trunk and go that
- 4:52Speaker 1: way in the car. He he went to the right
- 4:56Speaker 1: in front of the car, what's to the left, any anything,
- 5:02Speaker 1: any place would have been better than where he went.
- 5:06Speaker 4: Well, it's also Asia, so there's different rules and some
- 5:09Speaker 4: of them are very very strict on on doing that.
- 5:12Speaker 4: So maybe he was trying to hide. But like in uh,
- 5:15Speaker 4: I believe in Singapore, like you can't spit on the
- 5:18Speaker 4: sidewalk or you'll get lashed, Like you'll get lashes for
- 5:23Speaker 4: spitting on the sidewalk. You can't throw trash on the side,
- 5:25Speaker 4: you can't litter. So depending on where this guy is,
- 5:28Speaker 4: maybe like ping has like a like a jail sentence
- 5:33Speaker 4: or a certain fine.
- 5:34Speaker 1: I'd rather go to jail than piss on an electrical
- 5:37Speaker 1: substation and feel that kind of wrath.
- 5:39Speaker 2: Mm.
- 5:40Speaker 4: Well here's how here's how bad the p had to
- 5:44Speaker 4: have been that he didn't It was so bad he
- 5:46Speaker 4: didn't even recognize that there was an electrical substation there.
- 5:51Speaker 4: He's just like, oh, finally a shed.
- 5:55Speaker 1: He learned a very painful, valuable lesson this night.
- 6:00Speaker 5: Yeah, maybe this is as Yeah, maybe this is.
- 6:05Speaker 4: His like superhero origin story, like how he got his
- 6:10Speaker 4: how he got his powers.
- 6:12Speaker 2: He's electroween.
- 6:13Speaker 1: Yeah, he becomes p nido.
- 6:20Speaker 2: Ya ya. I mean you could not have planned or
- 6:32Speaker 2: choreographed that any better. Timing is perfect, it really really needs.
- 6:36Speaker 2: It's a thing of beauty.
- 6:37Speaker 1: And again I want to say thank you to this
- 6:40Speaker 1: unnamed man for his sacrifice to humanity, for the humor
- 6:45Speaker 1: that we find on this Friday inside the Treehouse again.
- 6:49Speaker 2: I don't know if he.
- 6:50Speaker 1: Is alive or if this unfortunate he killed him, but
- 6:56Speaker 1: he needs to know that he's appreciated.
- 6:59Speaker 3: And if by some way you know that was the
- 7:02Speaker 3: only legal place to pee, then Alan Funt wrote their laws.
- 7:12Speaker 1: And they should not be trusted.

- 9:03Speaker 1: Malley along with Trey Trenholm, Jerry Caldwell and Raj Sharma.
- 9:07Speaker 1: Today is Friday, May second, twenty twenty five. This next
- 9:13Speaker 1: story checks some treehouse show boxes. It checks some major
- 9:18Speaker 1: treehouse show boxes. It's kind of sexy and it's full
- 9:22Speaker 1: blown stupid. A Florida nurse lost her license after her
- 9:27Speaker 1: husband founder having sex with his fifteen year old son. Yeah,
- 9:36Speaker 1: this does hit a double porn category, hot step mom
- 9:39Speaker 1: stuff and nurses. Now, while this story Unlike the first
- 9:46Speaker 1: thing we talked about is figuratively shocking. The first story
- 9:49Speaker 1: we talked about was literally shocking. This one's just figuratively shocking.
- 9:53Speaker 1: Now I can't prove it, but I'm blaming Ted Cruz
- 9:56Speaker 1: for this. Here's why he got every one curious about
- 10:01Speaker 1: stepmom threesomes when he liked that video on porn Hub
- 10:03Speaker 1: a handful of years ago. Now he blamed it on
- 10:06Speaker 1: a staffer, But how do we know that that's not
- 10:09Speaker 1: his nickname for his ding dong. I'd also like, on
- 10:15Speaker 1: a separate note, to a somewhat separate note, I'd like
- 10:18Speaker 1: to point out that this faux incest porn really needs
- 10:21Speaker 1: to stop the my stepbrother, this my step mom, that
- 10:25Speaker 1: family therapy, family strokes, mister Belvrier, It's really gotten out
- 10:30Speaker 1: of hand.
- 10:33Speaker 5: Are just those are just those of your top three favorites?
- 10:38Speaker 1: Okay, I've noticed. Look I have a defense for this.
- 10:44Speaker 2: Okay.
- 10:44Speaker 1: I was just looking for All in the Family reruns,
- 10:46Speaker 1: and instead I learned about Rachel Starr's very inappropriate relationship
- 10:50Speaker 1: with her black step brother.
- 10:54Speaker 4: Once you were looking, you were looking for All in
- 10:57Speaker 4: the Family reruns, and you ran into horn.
- 11:01Speaker 1: The safe search function is very important ra.
- 11:07Speaker 5: See. Okay, thank god we're looking for the love boat.
- 11:13Speaker 5: Fantasy Island takes a whole new meaning.
- 11:19Speaker 1: I feel like every day, like the last week, every
- 11:22Speaker 1: day there's been some new news story where you've got
- 11:26Speaker 1: an older female, you know, praying on some teenage guy.
- 11:31Speaker 1: But this one, to me, really is next level.
- 11:34Speaker 5: What I'm about to agree with, Trey. Are they praying
- 11:38Speaker 5: on the teenage guy?
- 11:40Speaker 1: Yeah, that's what I'm saying, according to the law, yes,
- 11:45Speaker 1: that being said, I don't know for sure, but I'm
- 11:48Speaker 1: going to go out on a limb here that the
- 11:50Speaker 1: fifteen year old versions of all of us would have.
- 11:54Speaker 2: Been just fine to hook up with a hot nurse.
- 11:59Speaker 5: Yeah, or teaching or teacher.
- 12:02Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 12:03Speaker 2: It does get a little weird though.
- 12:06Speaker 1: If it's Dad's wife, now, I don't know anything about
- 12:09Speaker 1: the entirety of their relationship. I don't know how long
- 12:13Speaker 1: she was his step mom. It's wrong, very wrong, and
- 12:21Speaker 1: I can't quite wrap my brain around being a fifteen
- 12:24Speaker 1: year old and then step mother. Yeah, that's that's very
- 12:27Speaker 1: very odd to me.
- 12:30Speaker 2: But I haven't been there, so what do I know.
- 12:33Speaker 4: Yeah, that's gonna be made for a very awkward Thanksgiving.
- 12:37Speaker 2: M it's just step mom on the table me first,
- 12:46Speaker 2: then the turkey talk about stuffing exactly.
- 12:54Speaker 1: It really is troubling though it was shocking. Story aside,
- 12:59Speaker 1: Why is that theme of stuff popular online when it
- 13:03Speaker 1: comes to adult site? Why are people into the the
- 13:06Speaker 1: step sibling thing, the step person thing. I I don't
- 13:09Speaker 1: I don't understand that. To me, it's it's ooky. Why
- 13:11Speaker 1: is it so popular.
- 13:12Speaker 4: Because it's I guess it's because it's table enough, yes,
- 13:16Speaker 4: but it's also legal because it's not your actual rel
- 13:21Speaker 4: like blood relative.
- 13:23Speaker 5: Yeah, so I think that's what.
- 13:25Speaker 4: And same thing with like these kids that are like
- 13:27Speaker 4: having sex in school with their teachers, Like, yeah, have
- 13:30Speaker 4: you seen the teachers today smoke shows the ones we
- 13:33Speaker 4: had back in the day now between Yeah, Like I
- 13:38Speaker 4: had a third grade teacher named Miss Wisdom, and mister
- 13:41Speaker 4: Wisdom didn't want her. She was she was she had
- 13:45Speaker 4: a face for radio. It wasn't it wasn't great. She
- 13:51Speaker 4: was an old, mean lady. Like that's what we had
- 13:53Speaker 4: for the most part.
- 13:54Speaker 8: We had one.
- 13:55Speaker 4: We had one teacher in elementary school smoke show, but
- 13:59Speaker 4: then that was the school's daughter. So you're like, oh, okay,
- 14:03Speaker 4: that's but like got to high school, and it was.
- 14:05Speaker 5: Just like no.
- 14:07Speaker 4: And then my college girlfriend, who was a teacher now
- 14:11Speaker 4: is a librarian. Just stunning, just absolutely stunning, And I'm like, yeah,
- 14:16Speaker 4: I mean, these kids today have that to look at.
- 14:19Speaker 2: We did not wonder test scores are going down.
- 14:22Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, but library rentals her through the roof. Usually
- 14:29Speaker 1: in school, the library was the last place you would
- 14:32Speaker 1: find any of us, unless if unless, of course, that
- 14:35Speaker 1: was where detention was held. I couldn't even tell you.
- 14:40Speaker 1: At my high school, you know, Lamar High School in Arlington,
- 14:44Speaker 1: I knew where the library was. I was in it
- 14:46Speaker 1: a few times. I don't even know who the librarian was.
- 14:49Speaker 1: I don't know if it was a guy. I don't
- 14:51Speaker 1: know if it was a female.
- 14:52Speaker 2: I have no idea.
- 14:53Speaker 1: I couldn't point out the librarian in a lineup at
- 14:57Speaker 1: any at all.
- 14:58Speaker 5: Wow, to the library for fun.
- 15:02Speaker 2: And you call us nerds and we talk about Star Wars. Yes, hey,
- 15:08Speaker 2: I did too, the public library, not the one at school.
- 15:11Speaker 5: That one was. Yeah, I did that one as well.
- 15:14Speaker 4: But we had to we had to like get a
- 15:17Speaker 4: book every like every two weeks and then write a
- 15:19Speaker 4: book report.
- 15:21Speaker 1: I think we were among the last generation as far
- 15:26Speaker 1: as Generation X. Maybe a little bit of millennials actually
- 15:30Speaker 1: went to a library like the city library to do
- 15:33Speaker 1: research for some type of school project.
- 15:36Speaker 5: That just went to a library.
- 15:37Speaker 3: I mean that actually, I mean we are definitely the
- 15:40Speaker 3: last generation that knows how to use the Dewey decimal system. Yeah, yeah,
- 15:47Speaker 3: I mean, Dan, Dan, I think you were at a
- 15:49Speaker 3: disadvantage because, you know, the big red pencil and the
- 15:53Speaker 3: children's book were in a separate area.
- 15:56Speaker 5: That you could just go to. Yeah.
- 15:58Speaker 1: I mean I go in the front door and I
- 16:00Speaker 1: get distracted by the Clifford, the big big red dogs,
- 16:03Speaker 1: you know section, and that's.
- 16:04Speaker 2: Just where you ask where I was.
- 16:07Speaker 4: Den calls the class that's like green eggs and ham.
- 16:13Speaker 2: Those aren't classics.
- 16:17Speaker 5: They won't be on the test.
- 16:21Speaker 1: That explains why I didn't enjoy Canterbury Tales in the Middle.

- 17:09Speaker 1: He's Trey, that is Raj, and there is Jerry. On Friday,
- 17:12Speaker 1: May second, twoenty twenty five. What does the narcissist say?
- 17:21Speaker 1: I have seven phrases that you will hear from highly
- 17:26Speaker 1: narcissistic people.
- 17:28Speaker 2: So see if.
- 17:28Speaker 1: Any of these sound familiar to you and perhaps identify
- 17:33Speaker 1: the narcissist in your life, which, by the way, I
- 17:37Speaker 1: believe it's like five percent of the population is either psychopath, sociopath,
- 17:46Speaker 1: highly narcissistic, sharing all those common traits, so it's it
- 17:51Speaker 1: doesn't sound like a lot, but it actually kind of is.
- 17:53Speaker 1: When you're talking about five percent of the population, that's
- 17:57Speaker 1: quite a bit. That's what one and twenty, Yeah, so
- 18:01Speaker 1: if you know twenty people, then you know at least
- 18:05Speaker 1: one veritable crazy narcissists, sociopath, psychopath type individual. So let's
- 18:13Speaker 1: see if any of these phrases that they use sound
- 18:15Speaker 1: familiar to you, so you can identify.
- 18:17Speaker 2: The narcissist in your life. Jerry, why are you shaking
- 18:19Speaker 2: your head like that? If you work in radio, you
- 18:21Speaker 2: know a lot more than that. Yeah, the percentage is
- 18:23Speaker 2: much higher in radio.
- 18:24Speaker 1: So these are going to really shoot off some flares
- 18:27Speaker 1: in our world. Number one, You're lucky I even care.
- 18:32Speaker 1: By the way, some of these phrases are not exactly
- 18:36Speaker 1: what your narcissist will say, but the sentiment is definitely
- 18:40Speaker 1: going to be there. So one thing the narcissist says,
- 18:44Speaker 1: You're lucky, I even care. Narcissists see themselves as special
- 18:48Speaker 1: and better than everybody else, Yep, the sumpthing there. They
- 18:51Speaker 1: believe that other people should feel grateful to be in
- 18:55Speaker 1: their orbit because they are so flawed by comparison. Similar phrases,
- 18:59Speaker 1: you don't deserve me, and you should feel relieved that
- 19:02Speaker 1: I haven't cut you out of my life.
- 19:06Speaker 2: Okay, yeah, I think.
- 19:09Speaker 1: Me Trey Jerry yep sounds familiar. Got that Raj familiar
- 19:14Speaker 1: to you?
- 19:15Speaker 2: Mm hmm yep. Okay, So that was in that case.
- 19:20Speaker 1: Four things all the way around inside the treehouse.
- 19:23Speaker 2: Number two.
- 19:24Speaker 1: Of the seven things, the narcissist says, you're so pathetic.
- 19:28Speaker 1: Many narcissists are chronically disappointed by others. In response, they
- 19:32Speaker 1: may put those people down with cutting, hurtful and mean
- 19:36Speaker 1: spirited insults. Shoff hands, Jerry, Trey and Raj is a yes.
- 19:45Speaker 1: Number three of the things that the narcissist says, you
- 19:49Speaker 1: need me. Narcissists often resort to manipulative tactics like threats
- 19:54Speaker 1: or intimidation to keep people invested in the relationship because
- 19:57Speaker 1: they feel safe for maintaining control rather than sharing power.
- 20:02Speaker 1: Show a hands me, Trey, Jerry, Raj, this is getting freaky.
- 20:09Speaker 1: Similar phrases to you need me are be careful or
- 20:12Speaker 1: you'll push me away, and I'll ruin you if you
- 20:15Speaker 1: cross me, and no one will want to be associated
- 20:17Speaker 1: with Number four the things that narcissists says you are
- 20:21Speaker 1: wrong to feel that way. It's hard for people with
- 20:24Speaker 1: narcissistic traits to empathize with others. As a result, they
- 20:27Speaker 1: rarely see the other person in a relationship as an
- 20:30Speaker 1: independent individual with their own thoughts, feelings, and experiences. Similar
- 20:33Speaker 1: phrases might include my feelings matter more than yours and
- 20:38Speaker 1: I'm usually right. One phrase I heard a few times
- 20:41Speaker 1: is I'm the one that matters. So that one is there, Trey,
- 20:47Speaker 1: You yep, Jerry, that's a big yes, Raj.
- 20:50Speaker 4: I haven't heard that one, but I have said on
- 20:53Speaker 4: occasion that I am usually right.
- 20:56Speaker 1: I have said that before, but that's because you are yes, right, Yeah,
- 20:59Speaker 1: that's okay, tu not just gaslighting yet, okay. Number five
- 21:04Speaker 1: everyone else is an idiot that Jerry's hands up, Tray's up,
- 21:09Speaker 1: Raj is up yep. Narcissists have a strong desire to
- 21:12Speaker 1: feel superior to others. One way they do that is
- 21:16Speaker 1: by putting people down. Sorry, I'm getting carried away with
- 21:19Speaker 1: this bell, but this is really hitting home. They tend
- 21:22Speaker 1: to make negative comments about everybody else, friends, family, or
- 21:26Speaker 1: even unknown acquaintances. They build themselves up as part of
- 21:29Speaker 1: a separate, special kind of person.
- 21:32Speaker 5: Wow.
- 21:34Speaker 1: Number six, my feelings are your fault. When a narcissist
- 21:39Speaker 1: is upset, they'll blame others for their feelings instead of acknowledging.
- 21:42Speaker 2: Their role in the situation.
- 21:44Speaker 1: Joe of hands experienced that that's me, Trey, Jerry and
- 21:48Speaker 1: Raj and number seven of the things that the narcissist says,
- 21:53Speaker 1: I don't have time for this. People with narcissistic tendencies
- 21:57Speaker 1: are good at stonewalling, cutting off communication to show how
- 22:00Speaker 1: upset they are. They'll pretend to not be affected while
- 22:03Speaker 1: giving you the silent treatment. Similar phrases are I'm fine,
- 22:08Speaker 1: what are you even talking about? And just outright saying
- 22:11Speaker 1: nothing at all. So a narcissist says, I don't have
- 22:15Speaker 1: time for this. Yep, Tray yep, Jerry yep.
- 22:21Speaker 5: Two Bosses and an ex.
- 22:27Speaker 4: Yes, that sounds like the name of your country album
- 22:34Speaker 4: Ladies and Gentlemen, Two.
- 22:37Speaker 5: Bosses and the Nex No no oh in that title.
- 22:44Speaker 1: Uh. They say the number one way to respond to
- 22:46Speaker 1: a narcissist is to set clear boundaries and uh just
- 22:51Speaker 1: not react at all. Hard for me, that's I think
- 22:56Speaker 1: that's hard for most people. I will say this, not
- 22:58Speaker 1: reacting at all is real difficult, especially when you feel
- 23:03Speaker 1: the need to defend.
- 23:04Speaker 2: Yourself, right. Because another thing that it didn't mention in
- 23:07Speaker 2: this is that narcissists are really good at finding your
- 23:09Speaker 2: buttons and stick on their figures in them.
- 23:12Speaker 1: Mm hmm, kind of like Cassandra Nova and Deadpool and
- 23:16Speaker 1: Wolverine just right up in your brain. Yeah. So they
- 23:21Speaker 1: say the best thing you can do set clear boundaries
- 23:23Speaker 1: with the narcissist. Whoever said that hasn't dealt with some
- 23:28Speaker 1: of the malignant narcissists in our lives, Yes, because the
- 23:32Speaker 1: big narcissist in my life didn't give a absolute flying
- 23:37Speaker 1: about anyone's boundaries.
- 23:39Speaker 2: There were no boundaries. Nope, you were nothing.
- 23:47Speaker 1: Yeah, they're all just stewing in memories right now. This
- 23:55Speaker 1: is this is one of those things that is the
- 23:57Speaker 1: ultimate in relatability for all of us here inside the
- 24:00Speaker 1: Treehouse Show. See if there's any other silver linings here.
- 24:06Speaker 1: They say that while a narcissist may continue to communicate
- 24:10Speaker 1: in harmful ways, their words can't have power over you
- 24:14Speaker 1: unless you let them, or, in my case, if they die.
- 24:22Speaker 8: In the Treehouse.

- 25:03Speaker 1: Leave us a message and we might play it on
- 25:05Speaker 1: Tuesdays during our Treehouse Talkback Tuesday show. Right here inside
- 25:11Speaker 1: the Treehouse. This is the Treehouse Show. I'm Dan, he's Trey,
- 25:14Speaker 1: that's Raj, and he is Jerry. We were just talking
- 25:17Speaker 1: about the seven things that the narcissists say. And Jerry,
- 25:21Speaker 1: you said your ex was your ex did what for
- 25:25Speaker 1: a living?
- 25:26Speaker 2: She was a psychometrist.
- 25:29Speaker 1: She what is that?
- 25:33Speaker 2: She was the person that would administer the oral tests
- 25:38Speaker 2: to find out where on the spectrum your personality disorder fell.
- 25:44Speaker 4: Oh psychometrist, Yes, okay. I thought it was just somebody
- 25:49Speaker 4: who was like a counselor and the eye exams.
- 25:54Speaker 5: Read the second line.
- 25:57Speaker 1: I think it's I have have no empathy.
- 26:02Speaker 2: I have no empathy?
- 26:02Speaker 5: How does that make you feel?
- 26:05Speaker 1: Nothing?
- 26:08Speaker 5: I just want glasses.
- 26:11Speaker 2: I just know everything is your fault, not mine.
- 26:14Speaker 1: And Jerry, you said she herself was on that personality
- 26:17Speaker 1: disorder spectrum.
- 26:18Speaker 2: Oh, she was almost textbook narcissist.
- 26:23Speaker 1: Of the seven things that we just read that, the
- 26:25Speaker 1: narcissists say, how many did she have?
- 26:28Speaker 8: Six?
- 26:29Speaker 1: Jesus wow? So a narcissist psychometrist. So that means as
- 26:38Speaker 1: a narcissist, she was in charge of diagnosing personality disorders.
- 26:43Speaker 2: That is some next level irony, including narcissism.
- 26:48Speaker 1: Can a narcissist spot another narcissist?
- 26:52Speaker 2: Oh? Absolutely, okay.
- 26:55Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 26:56Speaker 2: They can smell each other across the room.
- 27:01Speaker 1: Or they become like do they hate each other or
- 27:03Speaker 1: do they become like besties?
- 27:06Speaker 2: It depends if they have I have found, okay that
- 27:12Speaker 2: if they have a similar motive, a similar task, a
- 27:17Speaker 2: similar goal, they can join forces. Narcissists team up, but
- 27:25Speaker 2: in a relationship wise two narcissists. I mean, first you
- 27:30Speaker 2: start love bombing, and both of them love that because
- 27:32Speaker 2: that's the part that both of them need. And then
- 27:36Speaker 2: the first one that starts to move over into, you know,
- 27:40Speaker 2: the bad, controlling, less than me part, absolutely triggers the
- 27:46Speaker 2: other one because that's the thing that they hate the most.
- 27:50Speaker 2: So it's like in the beginning, it's like and then
- 27:52Speaker 2: it's just there's an explosion.
- 27:54Speaker 1: It's all right, thank you for that description. Very now,
- 28:00Speaker 1: I understand it pretty well.
- 28:02Speaker 5: I do know.
- 28:03Speaker 1: I have a tendency I think to confuse psychopathy and
- 28:09Speaker 1: sociopathy with the narcissism because I think, really it's like,
- 28:12Speaker 1: you can be a sociopath or a psychopath and have
- 28:15Speaker 1: and not be a narcissist. I don't Maybe you can't.
- 28:17Speaker 1: Maybe you can't, I don't know, but I feel like
- 28:19Speaker 1: a narcissist. Definitely, Narcissist traits go into the whole psycho
- 28:25Speaker 1: and socio ethology.
- 28:27Speaker 2: It was on a Venn diagram, the sociopath and the
- 28:30Speaker 2: narcissist bubbles would crossover.
- 28:34Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 28:35Speaker 1: So, and in the middle is where the four of
- 28:37Speaker 1: us have been at various points in our lives with people,
- 28:40Speaker 1: also known as the threshold of hell. It's good to
- 28:45Speaker 1: know that we have that connection, that trauma bond. Yeah,
- 28:50Speaker 1: that trauma bond, that's exactly what it is. It's amazing
- 28:52Speaker 1: the things you can find on therapy, Twitter, and therapy.
- 28:55Speaker 1: Social media.
- 28:59Speaker 2: Therapy is free online. You don't have to pay for it.
- 29:02Speaker 1: Instead of instead of three hundred dollars an hour, you
- 29:04Speaker 1: can just look at various social media accounts and go like, oh, yeah,
- 29:07Speaker 1: I have that.
- 29:09Speaker 5: That's not therapy, that's just diagnosis. No, there's some.
- 29:13Speaker 1: Steps you can take in there as long as you
- 29:15Speaker 1: as long as you comment guide and then they send
- 29:18Speaker 1: you the free guide.
- 29:21Speaker 2: Steps to Loving Yourself.
- 29:23Speaker 5: Like, ow, you're looking for free mental health.
- 29:26Speaker 1: Amen, it's tough out there, mental health on a budget.
- 29:31Speaker 3: Baby, the ultimate expression or the ultimately narcissists. Uh, someone
- 29:42Speaker 3: who's get you know, tell you about their dog dying,
- 29:45Speaker 3: but it's too busy to go be with their dog
- 29:49Speaker 3: when they die.
- 29:50Speaker 5: Mm hmmmm.
- 29:53Speaker 1: Sounds familiar.
- 29:55Speaker 5: And just.
- 29:57Speaker 1: Trying to think who that reminds me of do you
- 29:59Speaker 1: want the attention for somebody else's or some other creature's pain. Aw,
- 30:06Speaker 1: that's freakish. Who would do.
- 30:11Speaker 5: Such a thing.
- 30:14Speaker 4: It's not called subtle Fridays at least, no, it is not.

- 31:18Speaker 1: Trey Trenholm, Raj Sharman and Jerry Caldwell. Today is Fred Day,
- 31:24Speaker 1: May second, twenty twenty five. Let's celebrate with some birthdays.
- 31:29Speaker 1: Singer Lily Allen turns forty today. Her big songs are
- 31:34Speaker 1: Smile and Few, all right, yeah together, Yeah, Sometimes I do.
- 31:41Speaker 1: From Gray's Anatomy Guias Charles is forty two, played doctor
- 31:47Speaker 1: Shane Ross and Smash Williams on Friday Night Lights. Guias
- 31:51Speaker 1: Charles is forty two. Ellie Kemper is forty six, probably
- 31:55Speaker 1: best known as Aaron on the Office. She was the
- 31:58Speaker 1: one that took over the front desk when Pam moved
- 32:01Speaker 1: to sales. She's also the star of the Netflix show Unbreakable.
- 32:04Speaker 2: Kenny Schmidt.
- 32:05Speaker 1: Genovon Oi turns forty eight today, making all of us
- 32:08Speaker 1: feel super old. Genovon Oi, also known as six on Blossom,
- 32:14Speaker 1: is forty eight today. David Beckham turns fifty. International soccer
- 32:21Speaker 1: sensation David Beckham turns fifty. Dwayne the Rock Johnson is
- 32:25Speaker 1: fifty three. I have something to admit, and I know
- 32:29Speaker 1: it's not going to surprise you, or it's not going
- 32:32Speaker 1: to surprise you Trey or U Raj.
- 32:36Speaker 2: I've seen probably the.
- 32:37Speaker 1: Majority of the Rocks movies, and I'm not proud of it.
- 32:41Speaker 1: I know that I'll say that I'm a fan of
- 32:44Speaker 1: some bad movies, but I really only like the bad
- 32:47Speaker 1: movies that are so bad they're good. Sometimes there's just
- 32:50Speaker 1: some bad movies that are just dreadful. And one of
- 32:57Speaker 1: the ones that comes to mind is Skyscraper starring The Rock? Yeah, Trey,
- 33:03Speaker 1: I'm the guy that saw that.
- 33:05Speaker 5: You know, I've seen it too. Wow, you have the
- 33:11Speaker 5: shame on Trey's face.
- 33:14Speaker 1: That's not shame.
- 33:15Speaker 5: Oh, that's shame.
- 33:16Speaker 2: I don't know if Yeah, it looks like that's.
- 33:18Speaker 1: What Netflix and Chill looks like with me and Trey
- 33:21Speaker 1: and The Rock. Wasn't that I'm sorry. Wasn't that movie
- 33:25Speaker 1: just like hot garbage? Yeah?
- 33:30Speaker 3: I mean the one legged rock that was leaping buildings.
- 33:34Speaker 5: Yes, it was. It was garbage, he really was.
- 33:38Speaker 1: He leapt between buildings on his Chinese skuy screens, so
- 33:42Speaker 1: so stupid it written. Now give him credit because a
- 33:45Speaker 1: man is like banking sixty to seventy million dollars per year.
- 33:50Speaker 1: But that movie was really really bad, and I think
- 33:57Speaker 1: he's really good and a lot of fun and some
- 34:00Speaker 1: films not this one. And that movie Skyscraper co starred
- 34:07Speaker 1: Nev Campbell. He dug up Nev Campbell to play his
- 34:11Speaker 1: wife in that film, and I imagine even she was like,
- 34:15Speaker 1: I gotta go back to the screen franchise.
- 34:19Speaker 5: How does she die in the movie.
- 34:23Speaker 1: No, I think he saves her in the end. But yeah,
- 34:25Speaker 1: I think he plays it was like an FBI what
- 34:32Speaker 1: do they call it, like a special response team, like
- 34:36Speaker 1: FBI Special Response Team or something. And some mission years ago,
- 34:40Speaker 1: a bomb goes off and he loses his legs.
- 34:42Speaker 2: So now he's got a prosthetic.
- 34:44Speaker 1: And then he ends up working in private security and
- 34:46Speaker 1: some skyscraper, awesome.
- 34:48Speaker 2: Amazing building in China.
- 34:51Speaker 1: It's basically the Rocks attempt at die hard, and it
- 34:54Speaker 1: not to make light of, you know, people with less
- 34:58Speaker 1: than all their limbs, but well it's a little bit
- 35:04Speaker 1: and of course the building catches fire. He's got to
- 35:06Speaker 1: save his family. It's it's just really ridiculous.
- 35:11Speaker 5: At any point does he use the leg.
- 35:15Speaker 2: Does he beat any fools with it? Or yeah, I
- 35:18Speaker 2: thwarted somebody.
- 35:19Speaker 1: I don't think he does, because if he did, I
- 35:21Speaker 1: might have liked it. I'm just I'm just glad to
- 35:26Speaker 1: know that Trey, you two have seen Skyscraper starring the Rock.
- 35:31Speaker 5: Didn't?
- 35:32Speaker 9: Now?
- 35:32Speaker 5: Did you see it? Did Dan? Did you see it
- 35:33Speaker 5: in the theater?
- 35:34Speaker 1: No?
- 35:35Speaker 4: No, no, no, no no no, that'd be silly.
- 35:37Speaker 2: That was a Netflix special, gotcha.
- 35:40Speaker 1: Okay, I will go see The Accountant too in theaters,
- 35:45Speaker 1: but I'm not going to see Skyscraper right. The Accountant too,
- 35:50Speaker 1: by the way, is probably awesome.
- 35:52Speaker 2: The Accountant one was awesome.
- 35:54Speaker 8: Uh.
- 35:54Speaker 1: Anyway, Dwayne the Rock Johnson, he is fifty three today.
- 35:59Speaker 1: If you want a good rock movie, the Jumanji movies,
- 36:03Speaker 1: the two that he did, those are really good. The
- 36:05Speaker 1: bay Watch movie Don't Don't Do It Central Intelligence was
- 36:09Speaker 1: very good. I enjoyed that.
- 36:10Speaker 5: That was funny.
- 36:11Speaker 2: Bay Watch movie Don't Do It.
- 36:14Speaker 1: Yeah, I wouldn't never no other birthdays today. Mika Brzhinski
- 36:18Speaker 1: is fifty eight. That's from MSNBC. Country singer Ty Herndon
- 36:23Speaker 1: is sixty three today. He of the Park in Fort
- 36:27Speaker 1: Worth got Busted Whacking It. Ty Herndon, country singer and
- 36:33Speaker 1: park whacker sixty three. I think that's his new album.
- 36:39Speaker 5: By the way, I.
- 36:44Speaker 4: Would love to see that press joke it who's joined
- 36:47Speaker 4: me on my new tour?
- 36:51Speaker 3: I'd there to give an album cover.
- 36:55Speaker 5: It's just a picture of George Michael.
- 36:59Speaker 4: Oh.
- 36:59Speaker 1: I bring this up earlier? Were so I mentioned Nev Campbell,
- 37:02Speaker 1: you know from Scream Fame. Did you guys know that
- 37:06Speaker 1: they're doing a continuation or maybe it's a reboot. They're
- 37:10Speaker 1: doing a reboot of I know what you Did Last Summer.
- 37:13Speaker 1: I watched the trailer for it the other day.
- 37:15Speaker 2: Really, yeah, yeah, I actually kind of enjoyed that one.
- 37:20Speaker 1: I liked the movie when it came out back in
- 37:21Speaker 1: the day. I mean it was that was a pure
- 37:24Speaker 1: nineties horror slasher flick. Once that that genre came back,
- 37:29Speaker 1: thinks to scream, and then it inspired a few other
- 37:32Speaker 1: films after it, including I Know What You Did Last Summer,
- 37:36Speaker 1: which was such a dumb premise, and it only gets
- 37:39Speaker 1: dumber like in the New Trilogy. There's a part in
- 37:42Speaker 1: it because it's all new casts. It's all new young
- 37:44Speaker 1: kids who did something they shouldn't have last summer, and
- 37:47Speaker 1: now the scary Gordon's Fisherman guy with the hook hand
- 37:51Speaker 1: is coming to kill them all. And in one of them,
- 37:55Speaker 1: in one of the scenes, it's Jennifer Love Hewitt turning
- 37:57Speaker 1: around looking at one of the new cast members saying,
- 38:00Speaker 1: I have one.
- 38:01Speaker 2: Question for you.
- 38:03Speaker 1: Do you know what you did last Summer? It was like, oh, Jennifer.
- 38:07Speaker 5: They dug up Jennifer Love Hewett, yep, sure did.
- 38:10Speaker 4: First of all, you guys will not speak ill of
- 38:12Speaker 4: my future ex wife.
- 38:15Speaker 1: She had a good run on nine to one one
- 38:18Speaker 1: and she also she was also on that show. Was
- 38:20Speaker 1: it medium or whatever it was, or she played some
- 38:24Speaker 1: psychic medium on CBS.
- 38:26Speaker 5: Oh something like ghost.
- 38:28Speaker 2: Uh ghost ghost whisperer.
- 38:31Speaker 1: Yeah yeah, I think that was it.
- 38:32Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 38:35Speaker 4: Yeah, she's uh, she's my future ex wife and you
- 38:37Speaker 4: will not speak ill of her.
- 38:38Speaker 5: She was Russ's to congratulations and then have good taste.
- 38:46Speaker 1: Not in every there's some seriously questionable decision that has
- 38:52Speaker 1: been made along the land. But yeah, no, if you want,
- 38:57Speaker 1: if you want to be seriously entertained, and by an entertained,
- 39:00Speaker 1: I mean, oh god, I'm not watching that. Go watch
- 39:02Speaker 1: the new trailer for I Know what you did last summer,
- 39:06Speaker 1: or would it be I know what you did last
- 39:08Speaker 1: last summer, I know what you did last summer twenty
- 39:11Speaker 1: years ago, something along those lines.
- 39:14Speaker 2: Freddie Brintes Junior is even in it.
- 39:16Speaker 5: Hey, I like that guy.
- 39:20Speaker 2: I do excellently.
- 39:21Speaker 1: I think he's really happy that they brought that back.
- 39:29Speaker 10: You're listening to the Treehouse.

- 40:31Speaker 2: This is the Treehouse Show.
- 40:33Speaker 1: I'm Daniel Malley along with Trey Trenholm and Raj Sharma.
- 40:37Speaker 1: Today is Freddy May second, twenty five. We had the
- 40:44Speaker 1: big discussion yesterday with our buddy Justin Foster about the
- 40:49Speaker 1: new permits that are needed and required for someone to
- 40:53Speaker 1: climb Mount Everest and that God is talking about mountaineering
- 40:58Speaker 1: and how ridiculous it is and just the adventure you
- 41:01Speaker 1: have to go through to get to the Mount Everest
- 41:03Speaker 1: base camp before you even put your life on the
- 41:05Speaker 1: line on Mount Everest. But that's not the only mountain
- 41:09Speaker 1: in the world that people climb. There's another one goes
- 41:13Speaker 1: by the name of Mount Fuji. And I'm going to
- 41:22Speaker 1: tell you a story and I want you to tell
- 41:23Speaker 1: me if you believe it or not. And if that
- 41:25Speaker 1: sounds familiar, it should because it is time for believe
- 41:28Speaker 1: it or not inside the Treehouse. That's the wrong Hang on,
- 41:32Speaker 1: that's the wrong one. Hang on, Nope, hang on, I'm
- 41:35Speaker 1: gonna find it. Give me a second h Nope, nope, nope,
- 41:40Speaker 1: there it is. It's time for believe it or not?
- 41:44Speaker 1: Inside the treehouse. I'm going to share a story with
- 41:48Speaker 1: you and you have to tell me whether do you
- 41:50Speaker 1: believe it or not? Good? Do you believe it or not?
- 42:03Speaker 1: A student had to be rescued on Mount Fuji. A
- 42:07Speaker 1: student had to be rescued on Mount Fuji twice in
- 42:12Speaker 1: four days because the second time he went back for
- 42:17Speaker 1: his phone. Do you believe it or not? A student
- 42:23Speaker 1: had to be rescued on Mount Fuji twice in four
- 42:25Speaker 1: days because the second time he went back for his phone.
- 42:30Speaker 2: Raj, do you believe it or not?
- 42:32Speaker 8: I believe it?
- 42:33Speaker 2: Trey believe it or not?
- 42:34Speaker 5: No, I believe it.
- 42:36Speaker 1: You are both correct. This is an absolutely true and
- 42:39Speaker 1: factual story about an abject moron. On April twenty second,
- 42:46Speaker 1: a student from China was first rescued by helicopter after
- 42:51Speaker 1: losing his crampons and getting stranded in the snow. I'm
- 42:56Speaker 1: pretty sure crampons are like a type of mountaineering a equipment.
- 43:00Speaker 3: So they're literally the spikes you you put over your
- 43:05Speaker 3: shoes that allow you to traverse ice ice.
- 43:10Speaker 1: Things like that gotcha because when I see that word cramponds,
- 43:14Speaker 1: I think in some sort of mash up between cramps
- 43:16Speaker 1: and tampons, and that might explain why he got stuck
- 43:19Speaker 1: on the mountain. But no, it's because of the mountaineering equipment.
- 43:23Speaker 1: So he got stuck up there, and then he got rescued. Well,
- 43:26Speaker 1: I guess he got rescued too quickly, because four days
- 43:29Speaker 1: later he returned to Mount Fuji to try to find
- 43:33Speaker 1: his phone, of course, and and because of that he
- 43:41Speaker 1: had to be rescued again because he was suffering from
- 43:44Speaker 1: altitude sickness while looking for his phone. It's unclear whether
- 43:47Speaker 1: or not he ever actually found the phone that he
- 43:50Speaker 1: went back to search for. Get the insurance problem solved.
- 44:00Speaker 1: Get the insurance on the phone, bro let it, let
- 44:02Speaker 1: it live on the mountain.
- 44:04Speaker 4: I don't know if they because there's because the phones
- 44:07Speaker 4: are so cheap overseas, like like the iPhone, the new
- 44:12Speaker 4: iPhone sixteen that's like a thousand or twelve hundred and
- 44:15Speaker 4: fifteen hundred dollars here in China I believe is nine dollars,
- 44:21Speaker 4: So people don't get the insurance. I don't think there
- 44:24Speaker 4: is insurance available because they're just so cheap. You can
- 44:27Speaker 4: just get another phone.
- 44:28Speaker 1: If it was that cheap, there's no way that he
- 44:30Speaker 1: would risk dying on Mount Fuji to go back for it.
- 44:34Speaker 5: No, I'm not saying he's not an idiot. I'm just
- 44:36Speaker 5: saying that the phones are cheap.
- 44:39Speaker 2: Or maybe he just had some really good contacts in there.
- 44:41Speaker 1: Yeah, maybe maybe his debit card was somehow like was
- 44:44Speaker 1: a wallet phone attachment type of deal.
- 44:46Speaker 4: Or whatever the picks are in there might need to
- 44:49Speaker 4: have been saved.
- 44:50Speaker 5: Maybe, Yeah, what's.
- 44:52Speaker 1: He afhras kind of happen some other random Mount Fuji
- 44:55Speaker 1: climber's gonna see it and go, oh, look look at
- 44:57Speaker 1: wiener pigs. Yeah, how embarrassed are you? If you're that embarrassed,
- 45:06Speaker 1: you're not taking pictures of that stuff?
- 45:09Speaker 4: Yeah, I mean that's what I'm saying. I don't know
- 45:10Speaker 4: what's on I don't know what's on his pics, but
- 45:12Speaker 4: he was like I got to get up there again, like,
- 45:14Speaker 4: you know, you could die. You don't know what's on
- 45:16Speaker 4: that phone.
- 45:18Speaker 1: Okay, now I'm with you, Roger. I think there's I
- 45:20Speaker 1: think we need to find that phone because there's something
- 45:23Speaker 1: really bad on there that we need to know about.
- 45:25Speaker 1: If he is that desperate to get it.
- 45:27Speaker 4: Yeah, if they have to send a search party out
- 45:29Speaker 4: because you don't want to show to speaker what's on
- 45:31Speaker 4: your phone.
- 45:33Speaker 1: The abominable Snowman's going to find it and accidentally back
- 45:36Speaker 1: it up to the cloud and it's going to be
- 45:38Speaker 1: published someplace.
- 45:39Speaker 2: Like, oh my god, I've been found out.
- 45:44Speaker 4: Yeah, but I can't imagine, like, let me climb this
- 45:46Speaker 4: mountain again because I dropped my iPhone.
- 45:50Speaker 5: I'm like, you know what, I'm Samsung. Now that's it. Like,
- 45:54Speaker 5: I'm just I'm Android. That's all I can do now.
- 45:58Speaker 1: Now, if I did that in this state, and you know,
- 46:01Speaker 1: because like you said, phones now cost one twelve hundred
- 46:04Speaker 1: and fifteen sixteen hundred dollars, I might go back to
- 46:07Speaker 1: the top of Mount Ray near to go find my
- 46:09Speaker 1: phone because phones are so expensive, and because I don't
- 46:13Speaker 1: want to have to wait in line at the AT
- 46:15Speaker 1: and T store to try to give them the reason
- 46:17Speaker 1: why I want the new phone, and I don't want
- 46:20Speaker 1: to have to pay for it. I just don't want
- 46:22Speaker 1: to go back to the phone store.
- 46:25Speaker 4: Yeah, what do you say to the like, you know,
- 46:28Speaker 4: so do you want us to back like do you
- 46:31Speaker 4: want us to store your information in the new phone
- 46:34Speaker 4: just be like, uh no, that's why I dropped it
- 46:36Speaker 4: on Mount Fuji.
- 46:39Speaker 1: Would you like to restore this from the last backup. No,
- 46:44Speaker 1: that's a bad idea because if you do, then you'll
- 46:47Speaker 1: be an accomplice for all things Treehouse.
